- 0:49Speaker 5: It is October the fifteenth, twenty twenty five. Welcome. That's right,
- 0:54Speaker 5: it's pay day. Oh wait, god, other way? Pay great? Right,
- 1:00Speaker 5: get a loan of course if he hasn't spent it
- 1:03Speaker 5: all yet. All right, well anyway, welcome to the Woodies Show.
- 1:07Speaker 5: Welcome to Wednesday. I am whatdy? That's Greg Gordy. We
- 1:09Speaker 5: got Menace grad is here, Sea Bass is here, Morgan,
- 1:15Speaker 5: good morning to you. We've got Vaughn he's our video producer.
- 1:19Speaker 5: There is Bort and Menji. Hold things down the Woody
- 1:22Speaker 5: Show production department. We have the phones open for you
- 1:24Speaker 5: today in eighty seven seven. You can send us a
- 1:27Speaker 5: text over to two two nine eight seven. Yet today's payday,
- 1:31Speaker 5: somebody said on the text where to go here? Oh
- 1:34Speaker 5: it says the government's not shut down. I'm still getting
- 1:36Speaker 5: taxes taken out of my paychecks. But yeah, they're not working.
- 1:41Speaker 5: That's considered essential, But how is it essential for them?
- 1:44Speaker 5: To take the money if they're then refusing to pay
- 1:47Speaker 5: the workers who are also considered essential, like the military
- 1:51Speaker 5: employ air traffic controllers. There they're told to go to
- 1:54Speaker 5: work but not get paid. But you're still collecting the
- 1:57Speaker 5: money from from the public for a rainy day.
- 2:00Speaker 7: Hunt and say, what do you want about TSA? We
- 2:02Speaker 7: need them, right, you know, not they they can pay them.
- 2:07Speaker 5: We have a debt all the time, and so they
- 2:11Speaker 5: can figure out how to like, you know, uh, put
- 2:13Speaker 5: that back at some point once everything retroactively fund whatever
- 2:17Speaker 5: it is that they're using to give uh, these workers
- 2:20Speaker 5: their money. Yeah, right, Like that whole idea of going
- 2:23Speaker 5: to work and not getting the paycheck is ridiculous. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 5: I think that would go. I think that would go
- 2:29Speaker 5: for all the Congressmen, the senators, the people who are
- 2:34Speaker 5: directly involved in getting it passed and making a decision.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You don't get paid, Oh.
- 2:38Speaker 8: You start, but you're the one who starts not getting paid.
- 2:40Speaker 9: But things would happen way faster that way.
- 2:42Speaker 5: But no, things would happen way fast, you know, not
- 2:45Speaker 5: for military, TSA fights, air traffic controllers, all these other
- 2:49Speaker 5: essential employees. If you're forcing them to go to well
- 2:52Speaker 5: you can have departments that you don't think are essential.
- 2:54Speaker 5: They don't go to work, but they don't get like
- 2:56Speaker 5: the museum shut down, right and the Smithsonian's. But if
- 3:00Speaker 5: you're forcing people to go to work, you.
- 3:01Speaker 8: Pay those people and you do not take vacation until
- 3:05Speaker 8: this is work.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I know they should. They should be forced to stay
- 3:08Speaker 5: at work.
- 3:10Speaker 8: And toothbrush pajamas.
- 3:11Speaker 5: They used to do that at school. If two kids
- 3:15Speaker 5: were having a beef, like or they got in the
- 3:17Speaker 5: fight or whatever, they would put them in in a classroom.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Go well, you guys can't come out until you guys
- 3:21Speaker 5: have come to a solution to your problem.
- 3:23Speaker 8: My mother in law, he was a teacher, and she
- 3:26Speaker 8: used to put those kids in like a two headed
- 3:29Speaker 8: T shirt and make them wear like the friendship shirt
- 3:31Speaker 8: together together.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Probably couldn't do that now, that'd be some kind of
- 3:34Speaker 5: like bullying.
- 3:36Speaker 7: Even though I hate going to France because I think
- 3:38Speaker 7: people are a holes, I think they got it right though,
- 3:40Speaker 7: because like if stuff like this happens, they burn the
- 3:43Speaker 7: city down, like if gas prices are way too high,
- 3:47Speaker 7: if they.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Guess what stuff gets handled quickly? Yeah, yeah, here's a question.
- 3:58Speaker 5: So you have one of those jobs, it's been categorized
- 4:01Speaker 5: as essential, but you're not going to get paid if
- 4:04Speaker 5: you don't come in. Can they fire you? I guess
- 4:08Speaker 5: they could, right.
- 4:09Speaker 8: Yeah, and you certainly won't stay on the money.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Their election of duty or whatever they abandonment of whatever post. Yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 5: abandonment the post, like if you're considered it to be essential.
- 4:18Speaker 5: But maybe that's why they're doing the stickouts, right, So
- 4:20Speaker 5: that makes sense. Okay, now I answer my own question,
- 4:23Speaker 5: my stupid.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But then you shouldn't be forced to use your sick days, true,
- 4:26Speaker 2: you know, like that's essentially vacation days.
- 4:28Speaker 5: You know, if you have to come in and you're
- 4:31Speaker 5: not coming, you cannot come. You cannot come in and
- 4:35Speaker 5: not use your sick days. But then they can fire
- 4:37Speaker 5: you because you're just not showing up. And then another
- 4:40Speaker 5: question that we don't know the answer to. They're not
- 4:42Speaker 5: getting paid now, but they will get that in the meantime.
- 4:49Speaker 5: You can't tell your landlord, you can't tell the checkout
- 4:52Speaker 5: person at the grocery store you're still or.
- 4:55Speaker 8: You'll get it eventually.
- 4:56Speaker 7: My buddy is still dealing with rent for his business
- 5:00Speaker 7: from COVID because it was shut down and he still
- 5:04Speaker 7: had to pay rent. Yeah, even though his business was
- 5:06Speaker 7: not opening, not making any money. Did he get one
- 5:09Speaker 7: of those loans that people used to buy ferraris? Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 7: no he didn't.
- 5:13Speaker 5: So as a business owner he didn't get one. No,
- 5:16Speaker 5: but people who just took advantage of the system they
- 5:18Speaker 5: got it.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Yeah, seventy thousand dollars in the hole over it and
- 5:21Speaker 7: the government said.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Oh, well we'll figure it. We'll figure it out in
- 5:25Speaker 5: your taxes, and of course still not on it. Yeah
- 5:30Speaker 5: that's fun. Yeah, that's fun. But yeah, payday so Mena's
- 5:33Speaker 5: birthday month. Yes, do you have any plans, any plans
- 5:37Speaker 5: for uh, for this money? Like, are you going off
- 5:40Speaker 5: and doing something?
- 5:41Speaker 10: Oh?
- 5:41Speaker 5: Am I going to buy something? Yeah, you're gonna buy
- 5:43Speaker 5: yourself something. He usually, I'm saying, he usually has some
- 5:46Speaker 5: kind of plan for every time he's getting paid. Yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 5: he's like, all right, but here's what I'm doing. This
- 5:50Speaker 5: is what I'm gonna buy. Well, no, I mean I
- 5:53Speaker 5: just have my big f one weekend that I'm doing.
- 5:56Speaker 5: So I'm sure I'm gonna be buying some merch because
- 5:58Speaker 5: there's a ton of merch availab but like a single
- 6:01Speaker 5: item that I want to buy currently. No, I don't
- 6:04Speaker 5: have one. Uh yeah, I'm sad to say. Yeah, a
- 6:08Speaker 5: lot of it's just like I want to buy clothing.
- 6:11Speaker 5: That's it that Uh I think it's a Ferrari jacket
- 6:14Speaker 5: that you had. Oh the sweatshirt, yeah, that's nice. Want
- 6:19Speaker 5: yeah yeah, picked me up billion dollars yeah right, three billion.
- 6:27Speaker 5: I'm still trying to get a hold of bird for
- 6:29Speaker 5: you too early. He's on tour. There's no way he's
- 6:31Speaker 5: picking up yeah. Yeah. Well I've tried it other reasonable times,
- 6:37Speaker 5: just as a bit. Yeah, maybe he just doesn't like it.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Yeah, do you ever leave the message?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:43Speaker 5: Maybe that is now eighty Yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 8: Who he's a voice what they want.
- 6:54Speaker 5: The thing real quick? Sure. I felt kind of weird
- 6:58Speaker 5: about buying a Ferrari jackie because I don't own Ferrari.
- 7:02Speaker 5: Yeah I know, but people it's nice fan though. Yeah people,
- 7:08Speaker 5: this this is somebody else I'm not calling.
- 7:11Speaker 2: That's rude.
- 7:13Speaker 11: Next my goodness, oh god, oh wow, yeah it was cute.
- 7:18Speaker 5: But never mind. I'm not even gonna mention that is.
- 7:20Speaker 5: I don't want to embarrass that menace.
- 7:21Speaker 6: I think it would be more embarrassing if you did
- 7:23Speaker 6: have a Ferrari and a Ferrari jacket.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Oh and the guys. I think they're head to toe.
- 7:28Speaker 8: And yeah, yeah, that would be like you got it
- 7:30Speaker 8: free with purchase.
- 7:31Speaker 5: All right, well eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, how
- 7:34Speaker 5: do you want to spend MENACE's money?
- 7:35Speaker 3: You know?
- 7:35Speaker 5: Yeah? Give him some ideas? Yes please, yeah, we all
- 7:38Speaker 5: seem to have ideas.
- 7:39Speaker 8: I think you'd have paying my mortgage a text?
- 7:42Speaker 5: Make him feel good? Over to two to nine eighty seven.
- 7:44Speaker 5: More Woodies show is next. We'll get a little look
- 7:46Speaker 5: what's happening? Rather, the World of Entertainment Medics will have
- 7:48Speaker 5: that for us birthdays and porn birthday. All off, the
- 7:51Speaker 5: break hang up will be right back. What's up? What show?
- 7:55Speaker 5: Podcast listeners, it's Menace right now, go to the Woody
- 7:58Speaker 5: Show Instagram page and you can enter to win to
- 8:01Speaker 5: get into the TCL party suite this upcoming Sunday. That's
- 8:05Speaker 5: October nineteenth. So if you want to hang out with.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Me and a bunch of other Woody Show listeners again,
- 8:11Speaker 7: go to the Woody Show Instagram right now, enter to
- 8:13Speaker 7: win at the Woody Show. And it's all thanks to TCL,
- 8:17Speaker 7: a proud partner of the NFL.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Oh Very Show. All right, welcome back, everybody, yea so
- 8:28Speaker 5: we were talking about the payday, yeah earlier, today's payday
- 8:32Speaker 5: at list at this company, it's fifteenth, in the last
- 8:35Speaker 5: day of the month. And then we were talking about
- 8:37Speaker 5: the government shutdown and how you know people are going
- 8:40Speaker 5: to work and not getting paid. I got some other
- 8:42Speaker 5: work related stuff and some more bad news for remote
- 8:46Speaker 5: workers because more and more companies are abandoning the idea
- 8:50Speaker 5: of allowing it over. You keep hearing about more and
- 8:53Speaker 5: more of the bigger companies too, and according to the numbers,
- 8:55Speaker 5: by this time next year, another thirty percent of companies
- 8:58Speaker 5: will eliminate remote work just entirely.
- 9:01Speaker 8: Damn that's a lot.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Yeah, So that's what happens. Like one or two bigger
- 9:05Speaker 5: companies do it, and that gives license to the other
- 9:07Speaker 5: companies to do it, and then they go, well, everybody
- 9:08Speaker 5: else is doing so no one wants to be the
- 9:10Speaker 5: first one still waiting for that four day work week
- 9:14Speaker 5: experience that forever. Let's try that. Seventeen percent of companies
- 9:18Speaker 5: plan to require employees to be in the office at
- 9:21Speaker 5: least four days a week. Sixty four percent say they
- 9:24Speaker 5: are bringing people back to the office to strengthen company culture.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Sixty two percent say it's to improve productivity. Forty five
- 9:33Speaker 5: percent say it's to maximize office space. That's what it is.
- 9:37Speaker 8: It's we're paying for these leases and nobody's.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Here that and like seeing that people are working. Yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 5: because I know, I'm not going to mention names here,
- 9:44Speaker 5: because we do like this person and they do a
- 9:48Speaker 5: lot of work during during the week. I always wonder
- 9:51Speaker 5: because this person never comes into the office on Fridays.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Every Friday they quote work from home. Okay, but if
- 9:57Speaker 5: I ever have to call this person for something, are
- 10:01Speaker 5: they doing work stuff or Friday they kind of out
- 10:03Speaker 5: in about They seem to be out in about about day. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 5: Like I work better for my pool. Yeah, I've worked
- 10:11Speaker 5: better at a restaurant.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Anyway, let's see fewer companies are feeling the need to
- 10:17Speaker 5: bribe workers as well. It's like more of a take
- 10:20Speaker 5: it or hit the bricks kind of vibe going on.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Because remember they were talking about all these different things
- 10:25Speaker 5: that companies were doing.
- 10:26Speaker 8: Putting a car in the lobby.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Yeah, only twenty eight percent of companies in total, only
- 10:31Speaker 5: twenty eight percent provide any kind of benefits for returning
- 10:33Speaker 5: to the office your job. But of those doing the bribing,
- 10:37Speaker 5: fifty five percent do these like social events at work?
- 10:41Speaker 5: Fifty one percent provide catered meals. Now you're talking. Another
- 10:45Speaker 5: fifty one percent provide a commuter support. Cool, So I
- 10:49Speaker 5: guess maybe I know there was like a shuttle events.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Wouldn't do it for me.
- 10:53Speaker 9: Last thing I want to do no offense, is ride
- 10:55Speaker 9: to work with you guys.
- 10:57Speaker 5: You know, I get that. That's a little But the
- 10:59Speaker 5: free food I'll come. Oh yeah, food is an incentive
- 11:02Speaker 5: like activities.
- 11:03Speaker 9: No, no, I don't care about it, like I want
- 11:05Speaker 9: to go home now.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Going back and asking asking the people, three quarters, seventy
- 11:09Speaker 5: six percent said they would look for a new job
- 11:11Speaker 5: if they weren't allowed to work remotely anymore. So, going
- 11:14Speaker 5: back to the you know these companies, here's the thing.
- 11:17Speaker 5: If seventy six percent of people all of a sudden,
- 11:19Speaker 5: we're out there in the workforce looking for a job,
- 11:21Speaker 5: Look how hard it is to find a decent job
- 11:22Speaker 5: right now? Do you think with another seventy six percent
- 11:25Speaker 5: in the mix, Yeah, you're going to be able to
- 11:27Speaker 5: find that, especially if all the other companies are just
- 11:29Speaker 5: saying no, we're not offering that. Like, I don't know
- 11:31Speaker 5: how my point is here. I would love a four
- 11:34Speaker 5: day work week. I think that'd be great. I while
- 11:37Speaker 5: it's not for me personally, I don't care if somebody
- 11:40Speaker 5: works remotely, it doesn't affect me at all. I don't
- 11:42Speaker 5: I don't have any skin in the game. I guess
- 11:44Speaker 5: it is my point. So you can be mad and go, oh, well,
- 11:46Speaker 5: you just want to I don't want anything. I don't.
- 11:48Speaker 5: You know. That's I'm not in this situation. Yeah, it's different.
- 11:52Speaker 5: But you know, if the idea is that you're going
- 11:55Speaker 5: to call your shots, at some point, you're not gonna
- 11:57Speaker 5: be able to call your shot, right, yeah, you know,
- 11:59Speaker 5: and you're just have to suck it up and take
- 12:01Speaker 5: it or you're just gonna be unemployed. I guess, like,
- 12:04Speaker 5: what are you going to do in that situation?
- 12:05Speaker 8: Well, and like you guys, I was not able to
- 12:08Speaker 8: work remotely during COVID. I was coming to a radio.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Station every day. Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 8: But people who got a taste of blood, you know,
- 12:13Speaker 8: like you get it. It's just it's insane to think
- 12:16Speaker 8: of going back.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Now. Can I share this real quick though? Let's say
- 12:20Speaker 5: you worked in this building. Have you heard about it yet?
- 12:22Speaker 5: There's this guy financial guy named Jamie Diamond. He just
- 12:25Speaker 5: helped build this five billion dollar building in New York
- 12:29Speaker 5: for a JP Morgan. It has seventeen restaurants inside the building.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Damn yeah, seventeen Starbucks. It has everything. Yeah, just like
- 12:37Speaker 5: it's it's cool, its own little city. Now, that's cool.
- 12:41Speaker 5: I'm going to show up to work like seven days
- 12:43Speaker 5: a week. I worked at a building kind of like
- 12:44Speaker 5: that when I worked in Chicago. It's a giant ass
- 12:47Speaker 5: building right in River North, right in the downtown area.
- 12:49Speaker 5: It's called the Merchandise Bar. It's got its own train station,
- 12:53Speaker 5: like the like the L train stops there. You're on
- 12:55Speaker 5: the ground four right, Yeah, no, we look right in No. No,
- 12:58Speaker 5: we were like, well, there was a window into the
- 13:01Speaker 5: studio from outside of our space. But like, this building
- 13:04Speaker 5: is so big, it had its own zip code. There
- 13:07Speaker 5: were restaurants, there were stores, there were all kinds of
- 13:11Speaker 5: stuff makes use. Yeah, it was the Merchandise Mart in
- 13:14Speaker 5: uh in Chicago. That was a really cool spot. That
- 13:16Speaker 5: was that was great. I mean, it wouldn't make me
- 13:19Speaker 5: if I didn't have to commute in and you know
- 13:21Speaker 5: people fighting that Like, I wouldn't that wouldn't want to
- 13:23Speaker 5: That wouldn't make me want to go there because there
- 13:25Speaker 5: you'd be sick the same stuff, right as well?
- 13:28Speaker 9: You need to go live your life. Were there apartments
- 13:30Speaker 9: and stuff?
- 13:30Speaker 5: No, it's just it looks like a hotel resort. It's
- 13:34Speaker 5: just you know, it looks like it almost looks like
- 13:36Speaker 5: the Pentagon. Yeah, it's just a big gold building, stone
- 13:40Speaker 5: and marble building. All right, Greg, what percentage of people
- 13:42Speaker 5: would take a pay cut to keep working remotely? Pay cut? Yeah?
- 13:46Speaker 5: The guess what percentage people do you think would take
- 13:48Speaker 5: a pay cut current work to keep working remotely? I'll
- 13:51Speaker 5: say sixty percent. At least you're close sixty nine. I'm
- 13:57Speaker 5: saying sixty nine. Yeah, nice noise. All right, Well, we're
- 14:05Speaker 5: all here today. We appreciate wherever you are tuning in
- 14:08Speaker 5: and checking out the Woodies show this morning. We got
- 14:10Speaker 5: the phones open at eight seven seven forty four Wooding.
- 14:13Speaker 5: You can send us a text over to two to
- 14:15Speaker 5: nine eight seven. I welcome back everybody. Yeah, Today, October fifteenth,
- 14:27Speaker 5: we mentioned it's payday. It's also National broad Day, so
- 14:30Speaker 5: get a couple exs. It's also National Expense Report Day,
- 14:35Speaker 5: which is a good reminder. Dude, I am the worst
- 14:37Speaker 5: at turning in expenses. Get I get to do it.
- 14:40Speaker 5: I don't.
- 14:41Speaker 6: I mean I eventually, I eventually do. Have you ever
- 14:43Speaker 6: tried on our system, it's oh I did I turn
- 14:46Speaker 6: I thought you never did.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Oh no, I turn in expenses multiple times throughout the
- 14:50Speaker 5: year for other like on the on the things where
- 14:53Speaker 5: we travel somewhere and people are like, oh, well make
- 14:56Speaker 5: sure you put in for your meals. Yeah, I never
- 14:58Speaker 5: do that.
- 14:59Speaker 8: I don't know how.
- 15:00Speaker 5: So I do complicate. I do it for the bigger stuff.
- 15:02Speaker 5: And even then, like they're always over I have. I
- 15:05Speaker 5: just deleted an email this morning saying I have one
- 15:08Speaker 5: that's over two hundred days expired. Oh my god, so
- 15:11Speaker 5: that they've been waiting on me to find they paid
- 15:13Speaker 5: for it because I have a company credit card and
- 15:17Speaker 5: and so I don't see the bill. So I'm not
- 15:19Speaker 5: waiting on That's the thing. I'm not waiting on the money. Yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 5: I can use the iHeart credit card.
- 15:24Speaker 9: Oh you don't care to do it?
- 15:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that makes it. And then eventually by the end
- 15:29Speaker 5: of the year, by the end of the year, then
- 15:30Speaker 5: I'll submit that stuff. Wouldn't the statement itself kind of
- 15:33Speaker 5: be the report? Yeah? Yeah, but they want to see
- 15:35Speaker 5: the receipt. So I got to put it into a category.
- 15:37Speaker 5: They got to see the receipt. I got to upload that.
- 15:39Speaker 6: And that's the payment if you can use it at
- 15:41Speaker 6: a restaurant, for example, isn't that the quote receipt like
- 15:44Speaker 6: showing this statement like oh I hate it McDonald's for
- 15:47Speaker 6: twenty two dollars.
- 15:48Speaker 5: They still want to They still they still need the receipt.
- 15:51Speaker 8: Mine get kicked back to me so often I just
- 15:53Speaker 8: stopped submitting that. And I can always doing it wrong, and.
- 15:56Speaker 5: I can only use it for like certain things, you
- 15:57Speaker 5: know what I mean. So I don't use it all
- 15:59Speaker 5: the time, but use it on on average five times
- 16:03Speaker 5: maybe six times a year really because I'm only able
- 16:10Speaker 5: to use it for certain things. Right, So that's that's often,
- 16:14Speaker 5: you know, everything else comes out of my own pocket.
- 16:17Speaker 5: But yeah, that reminds me good expense report day. Today
- 16:20Speaker 5: is a National cheese curd Day. It's National SISTII Day.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Is that where you like wax? It's National grouch Day.
- 16:31Speaker 5: It's a lemon bar day, really love lemon bar. And
- 16:34Speaker 5: it's a National mushroom Day. I've got the birthdays. The
- 16:39Speaker 5: borner birthday come up here in just a moment. First
- 16:41Speaker 5: man's gonna tell us. What's happening a little bit in
- 16:42Speaker 5: the world of entertainment. Yeah, well, it was announced that
- 16:46Speaker 5: singer R and B singer DiAngelo, he died. Guys. Now
- 16:50Speaker 5: you might not remember who he is, but in two.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Thousand, I remember his body. Yeah, so that's that's what
- 16:56Speaker 7: I was about to mention. So in two thousand he
- 16:58Speaker 7: released his music video called untitled AKA how does it Feel?
- 17:03Speaker 7: That music video was extremely popular with the ladies because he.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Was naked in it. That's a other like dudes could
- 17:10Speaker 5: actually here's this like vs. Yeah, oh, you know you
- 17:16Speaker 5: remember this so far? I don't like yelling at the
- 17:20Speaker 5: camera man candor. So you know the song awright? Just
- 17:24Speaker 5: by that? Absolutely? Do you know this more than the
- 17:28Speaker 5: every lady knows it because of the music video?
- 17:30Speaker 9: He and oh god, now I'm facing.
- 17:33Speaker 5: You had another song called brown Sugar?
- 17:36Speaker 9: Was he in the show with Childish Gambino cut?
- 17:41Speaker 5: Remember?
- 17:42Speaker 12: Do you know?
- 17:43Speaker 5: I wouldn't have known the song, but I know the
- 17:45Speaker 5: video Sigel. I thought, oh, I.
- 17:50Speaker 13: Remember that video, let's all watch it tonight in his honor. Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 13: I'm watching it Brown Sugar, Calm, I can't. He was
- 18:01Speaker 13: just suggar your swallow re that's young. Yeah, all right,
- 18:07Speaker 13: she is dry.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Well he was r I P. Yeah. So remember that video,
- 18:11Speaker 5: play it today, all right, Alex Baldwin, did you see
- 18:14Speaker 5: that he got on a card? And he says unfortunately, Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 5: it was in the Hampton's apparently a garbage truck.
- 18:25Speaker 7: He says, that was the size of a whale cut
- 18:27Speaker 7: them off right. Yeah, And he crashed into a tree
- 18:32Speaker 7: with his wife inside. And he said that he feels
- 18:34Speaker 7: bad for crashing his wife's range rover, and all of a.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Sudden after the accident, it knocked that accident off his
- 18:41Speaker 5: wife and now she's right back to having a Massachusetts Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 5: she no longer sounds like she's from like Guadalajara.
- 18:49Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 8: I think it was him and his brother Stephen in
- 18:51Speaker 8: the wife's car in hilarious car.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Yeah. He says that he feels like it's hilarious crashing.
- 18:57Speaker 7: Uh yeah, I don't know, like a you know, garb
- 19:00Speaker 7: struck the size of whale quickly cuts you off.
- 19:02Speaker 5: But I guess it happens just speeding down the road.
- 19:05Speaker 5: The biggest one he's ever seen.
- 19:08Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Okay, so I know the name de'angelo, and maybe I'm
- 19:12Speaker 5: confusing with somebody else. Because I don't know any of
- 19:13Speaker 5: these songs. How does it Feel? Everybody? Yeah, I don't
- 19:17Speaker 5: not everybody.
- 19:18Speaker 3: This is uh.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I looked up like one of the most streamed songs
- 19:21Speaker 5: from DiAngelo, and the most streamed is something actually from
- 19:25Speaker 5: Lauren Hills. It was featuring Yeah nothing even Matters untitled
- 19:31Speaker 5: how does It Feel was the second most streams This
- 19:33Speaker 5: is the third most stream Lady, and then Brown Sugar.
- 19:36Speaker 8: But like Mena said, you don't remember that v No.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Yeah he was, he was. Rick didn't realize.
- 19:42Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, oh Eminem, his daughter just had a baby.
- 19:48Speaker 7: Now it's not Haley. It was actually his other daughter,
- 19:51Speaker 7: Elena Scott now the one who never got a shout
- 19:54Speaker 7: out well because she was actually adopted by Eminem in
- 19:58Speaker 7: the two thousands.
- 20:00Speaker 5: She's actually his niece, so her mother doesn't count.
- 20:03Speaker 7: Her mother actually died because she was a drug addict
- 20:07Speaker 7: and then Eminem took her in at Yeah, and if
- 20:12Speaker 7: you don't know, if you don't know, Eminem also adopted.
- 20:17Speaker 5: A boy, so he has a son as well.
- 20:19Speaker 6: I mean, super super cool that he's working out for.
- 20:21Speaker 6: In general, Woody, adoption doesn't count. That's not your kid, No,
- 20:24Speaker 6: it does. I think when it's always someone who's already
- 20:27Speaker 6: a relative. I'm saying, if somebody's already a relative, and
- 20:30Speaker 6: now you look at like you're more looky looking out
- 20:31Speaker 6: to me like you've you've adopted in the center that
- 20:33Speaker 6: you're looking out right. Like if you know, like if
- 20:36Speaker 6: if my wife and I passed away, the kids go
- 20:38Speaker 6: to live with my sister, all of a sudden, it's
- 20:39Speaker 6: not their mother, that's still their aunt.
- 20:41Speaker 5: You still uncle em you know what I mean. But
- 20:43Speaker 5: he's taking care of which is super nice. Obviously it's
- 20:45Speaker 5: a it's very cool. That's that's that's not what's in
- 20:47Speaker 5: question here. It's just you know, wow, it's like it's
- 20:50Speaker 5: a kid. No, I don't hate I love Eminem. I mean,
- 20:53Speaker 5: look at the timeline hate other people or eleven.
- 20:57Speaker 9: When imagine being your dad though he'd already ever rule.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, imagine so you know Hailey, let's just look
- 21:05Speaker 5: at haley situation. So everybody knew who she was because
- 21:09Speaker 5: she was name dropped in all these different songs. He's
- 21:11Speaker 5: putting people in trunks and you know killing Yeah, so
- 21:15Speaker 5: you're you're the guy that Haley has an interest in,
- 21:19Speaker 5: and you're gonna go over to and you know how
- 21:21Speaker 5: like how locked in he is with a bunch of
- 21:24Speaker 5: really scary dudes. Yeah, like, you know, doctor Drake could
- 21:29Speaker 5: pretty much make you disappear if you wanted to. You know,
- 21:32Speaker 5: Snudon knows some people, you know, all fifty and all
- 21:35Speaker 5: you deal. Yeah, you're gonna show up like you will
- 21:38Speaker 5: be on your best behavior. That's gotta be so intimidating,
- 21:43Speaker 5: you know, like if you know anybody anybody like that.
- 21:45Speaker 5: You go over to meet the Rock's daughter. Yeah, you know, hello,
- 21:48Speaker 5: mister Johnson, nice to meet you. You're gonna be home eight.
- 21:53Speaker 5: We'll be home at seven thirty. No problems. I talked
- 21:58Speaker 5: for your birthdays and Carno birthday show. We're gonna sits
- 22:09Speaker 5: and you know we don't do and we'll start with
- 22:12Speaker 5: the celebrities. Happy birthday to Paige Davis. Remember her from
- 22:15Speaker 5: Trading Spaces. I wonder what she does now.
- 22:18Speaker 6: She's still doing the Home I don't know. I know
- 22:20Speaker 6: they tried to do a reboot of that somewhat recently.
- 22:24Speaker 6: You know it looks weird now is uh what's his name?
- 22:27Speaker 10: Uh?
- 22:28Speaker 5: Is ty Pennington? He does? Oh man, he looks so weird.
- 22:32Speaker 5: I mean he's he's older, now.
- 22:33Speaker 8: Oh yeahs that stupid annoying.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean I wear a hat all the time,
- 22:38Speaker 5: but he's got one of those dumb hats, like an
- 22:41Speaker 5: army's hat.
- 22:42Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Paige Davis is fifty six. Today Dominic West Detective Jimmy

- 22:58Speaker 5: kicks up an otch godic. He's sixty six. You got Sarah,
- 23:03Speaker 5: Duchess of York Fergie. Fergie used to be married to

- 23:15Speaker 5: R and B sensanctions. You know the song Pony that
- 23:18Speaker 5: drops some panties? Genuine is fifty five. And you got
- 23:21Speaker 5: Krista Burg had that song Lady in Red. Oh yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 5: who now claims, by the way, to have healing hands
- 23:28Speaker 5: that can reduce pain with people who have injuries. Look

- 26:42Speaker 5: what that means.
- 26:43Speaker 1: It's menaces birthday.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yeah, the counter is.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Is birthdays on the twenty eighth. Yes, it is so
- 26:56Speaker 5: getting closer. Uh huh. As you know MENACE's birthday month
- 26:59Speaker 5: wish list that he rolled out to us already did
- 27:02Speaker 5: a couple of things and checked some things off there,
- 27:05Speaker 5: and yeah, so things have been coming together pretty well
- 27:08Speaker 5: for you this year.
- 27:09Speaker 6: This seems like the most successful birthday month ever. Maybe
- 27:11Speaker 6: it been pretty good.
- 27:12Speaker 5: Maybe now something something happened yesterday, and I got to say,
- 27:17Speaker 5: even though it's MENACE's birthday month, I think Greg was
- 27:19Speaker 5: the real winner here on Benefactor. This was this was
- 27:23Speaker 5: something that was on his list. It's the very last
- 27:28Speaker 5: item on the list for MENACE's birthday month. He wanted
- 27:32Speaker 5: to tour the Brady Bunch house. And guess what happened yesterday,
- 27:38Speaker 5: Menace and Greg went on a tour of the Brady
- 27:41Speaker 5: Bunch House. A little fun fact about Greg Gory for
- 27:49Speaker 5: newer listeners. Back in the day, Greg was so into
- 27:54Speaker 5: the Brady Bunch then he would get those yeah do
- 27:58Speaker 5: you notice No, you don't know this Morgan. Okay. So
- 28:01Speaker 5: he would get you know, those composition notebooks. Yeah, he
- 28:04Speaker 5: had a stack of those, and he would like write
- 28:08Speaker 5: notes about every episode as he watched it. Yeah, he
- 28:12Speaker 5: kept notes like a manifesto.
- 28:14Speaker 2: That's why the Instagram video was so intricate, Like you
- 28:17Speaker 2: walked into each room and you're like, this is where
- 28:19Speaker 2: this person did this this.
- 28:21Speaker 8: Whole episode, and it's crazy, Like I thought I was
- 28:24Speaker 8: a fan.
- 28:24Speaker 15: I was like Greg blows me out with a water
- 28:27Speaker 15: complete psych that is psycho.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Mental health professional asked me why I did that. I
- 28:33Speaker 6: would have the lazy answer of I don't know. Well,
- 28:36Speaker 6: but you are write a synopsis of every episode.
- 28:39Speaker 5: People are live tweeting, people are doing like podcast wraps
- 28:42Speaker 5: on shows. That was the version of that. Because there
- 28:44Speaker 5: was no Internet when you were doing that, there was anything,
- 28:47Speaker 5: and so yeah, I would say, though a sports fan
- 28:50Speaker 5: of a team would yeah, make no sense.
- 28:52Speaker 6: And I was well into my twenties when I did this. Oh,
- 28:57Speaker 6: I would write, like my favorite parts of the of
- 29:01Speaker 6: the episode.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Uh, you know, if there was a mistake in the episode,
- 29:05Speaker 5: if there was a continuity air, it was creepy. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 5: so Greg, I watched the Woody Show Instagram video of
- 29:13Speaker 5: you and Menace at the Brady Bunch House, and as
- 29:15Speaker 5: happy as I was, Menace checked something off of his list,
- 29:19Speaker 5: I was more happy that you got to geek out there.
- 29:22Speaker 5: Very interesting hearing you identify certain items from certain episodes.
- 29:26Speaker 5: My wife and I were watching it, and my wife goes,
- 29:28Speaker 5: my god, he knows so much that this is adorable.
- 29:32Speaker 5: She was just so happy because you just had this
- 29:35Speaker 5: like vibe and this look were she was so geeked out,
- 29:41Speaker 5: thank you. So who owns the Brady Bunch House at
- 29:43Speaker 5: this point, that's she just recently bought it. She did.
- 29:48Speaker 6: She is either married to or was married to the
- 29:52Speaker 6: president of HBOHAN. Yes, and she is using the house
- 29:57Speaker 6: now that it's been completely redone by HGTV to replicate
- 30:00Speaker 6: the Brady.
- 30:01Speaker 5: House inside out, because on the show it was just
- 30:03Speaker 5: the outside outside. The inside looked nothing like that, and
- 30:06Speaker 5: it was like that forever until more recently, and it
- 30:09Speaker 5: was an HGTV series where they took the inside to
- 30:12Speaker 5: make it look exactly like the TV show. So now
- 30:15Speaker 5: inside and outside it is the Brady House exactly. It
- 30:19Speaker 5: used to be a one story house. They made it
- 30:21Speaker 5: into a two story.
- 30:22Speaker 6: House built off the back, yes, and off the back.
- 30:25Speaker 6: What's interesting is when you walked in, I noticed off
- 30:28Speaker 6: the dining room. You guys will recall there was never
- 30:30Speaker 6: a door there. You're thinking, what's this door to? That
- 30:33Speaker 6: is what goes to the quote attic, even though it's downstairs.
- 30:37Speaker 6: So they recreated the attic downstairs and then above that
- 30:40Speaker 6: is the master bedroom for Mike and Carroll, which is
- 30:43Speaker 6: not up the stairs to the stairs to the right exactly.
- 30:47Speaker 6: So up there is just the girl's room in the
- 30:49Speaker 6: boys room, but every square inch of that place is
- 30:52Speaker 6: identical to the Brady House. Amazing, it's identical. The woman
- 30:56Speaker 6: that bought it, you know, she just recently opened up
- 30:59Speaker 6: some wars. But all the money goes to charity. Yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 6: you have to, you have to buy a ticket to
- 31:04Speaker 6: get in. She doesn't live there, she doesn't people handle it.
- 31:08Speaker 5: What are they going to do with the house? Use
- 31:10Speaker 5: it for tours and raise a ton of money for
- 31:13Speaker 5: animal charities. Yeah, but it's.
- 31:15Speaker 7: Super limited, Like they did the tour thing and they
- 31:19Speaker 7: released it automatically sold out. So I reached out to
- 31:22Speaker 7: them and said, hey, you know, this has sold out,
- 31:25Speaker 7: blah blah blah, and we've really been trying to get
- 31:28Speaker 7: into this house for years. And then at a one
- 31:31Speaker 7: day they didn't. They didn't say anything. They just sent
- 31:33Speaker 7: me a link with a couple of dates if you donate.
- 31:37Speaker 7: If you donate, you can get in.
- 31:38Speaker 5: Now are they going to allow people to hold like
- 31:41Speaker 5: events there? That's a good question. Yeah, I'm assuming not,
- 31:46Speaker 5: because I asked one of the women that works there
- 31:49Speaker 5: if anybody sleeps there ever, like, can you stay the
- 31:51Speaker 5: night or just the lady who owns it. Does she
- 31:54Speaker 5: ever sleep there? She said, no, you can't because the
- 31:56Speaker 5: plumbing doesn't work. Hermstat doesn't work. Oh really, the.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Thermostat is a prop. Even that was down to the
- 32:03Speaker 6: last detail. It looks like it's an actual house. It's
- 32:06Speaker 6: in a neighborhood.
- 32:07Speaker 5: And yeah, my friend's two houses away.
- 32:09Speaker 8: They're like, oh, there's always cars in front of it.
- 32:11Speaker 6: Electricity works, but the plumbing does not. The toilets don't work.
- 32:13Speaker 6: If you turn the faucet, that doesn't work. It's not
- 32:16Speaker 6: really livable. It's more like a museum.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, if you haven't seen the video yet, it's
- 32:19Speaker 5: on our Instagram at the Woody Show, you could check
- 32:22Speaker 5: it out. Look how happy Greg is. Look how sexy
- 32:24Speaker 5: he looks in his glasses. What's the word?
- 32:26Speaker 3: Greg?
- 32:26Speaker 8: Are you like a docent, like going around the museum
- 32:29Speaker 8: giving all the fun facts?
- 32:31Speaker 10: You know what?
- 32:31Speaker 5: I could be it's a doing.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I don't know, but he could work there at part
- 32:36Speaker 6: time after We should like for these tours like people would.
- 32:41Speaker 6: I think, you know, get a lot out of what
- 32:43Speaker 6: you have to offer.
- 32:45Speaker 15: Call the flashlight, right, I mean remember that this is
- 32:48Speaker 15: from the episode where no it was awesome, super fun.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Yeah, and mannis thank you for hooking it at so great.
- 32:58Speaker 5: But everybody go watch the video add to what show
- 33:00Speaker 5: on Instagram. They even had the skull and the fridge.
- 33:06Speaker 5: It was fast to Yeah, I like, uh. They always
- 33:10Speaker 5: had like this kind of like jazzy and then the
- 33:16Speaker 5: in between themes like oh yeah yeah yeah I have
- 33:21Speaker 5: some of that too, they have like yeah, okay, okay,
- 33:25Speaker 5: So here's another thing though.
- 33:26Speaker 6: It's embarrassing that one you played before this but always
- 33:29Speaker 6: bummed me out because it meant the episode was ending.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Yeah that was the Yeah, that was the end of
- 33:34Speaker 5: the the and this one here it was just starting.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:38Speaker 5: It's like a scene splitter like Sherwood Dwarfs. Yeah exactly.
- 33:41Speaker 5: The credits were like starting to roll. What about this one?
- 33:45Speaker 6: Okay, this is when things are going pretty well. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 6: you know, like Marsian is not upset about anything. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 6: Jam's not having a bad day. Okay, it's just getting started.
- 33:55Speaker 6: It's a little bouncing.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Maybe Bobby's coming home on his swin. It was a
- 34:00Speaker 5: trip though. It just felt so familiar right when we
- 34:02Speaker 5: walked in that door. Yeah, oh yeah, what about this one? Greg? Now,
- 34:07Speaker 5: this one does have a little bit of a laugh
- 34:08Speaker 5: track in it, but you'll get uh, okay, yeah, so this, oh,
- 34:19Speaker 5: this one's swiky cocktail.
- 34:25Speaker 9: This is what I imagine your house sounds like Creig.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Else doesn't think anybody's home. And she's walking around her
- 34:30Speaker 5: cans out cleaning. You guys remember that episode Herself on
- 34:34Speaker 5: the Stairs, that's the last episode. Yeah, she's just waiting
- 34:37Speaker 5: for Sam and Butcher to come over. Carol just left.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Get over here. They have.
- 34:47Speaker 6: They had set up these props in the house that
- 34:49Speaker 6: were so specific to each episode, and and Menace would say, Oh,
- 34:52Speaker 6: I don't care, what's this letter? And this is Oh,
- 34:54Speaker 6: that's the letter that Marcia submitted to make Mike the
- 34:57Speaker 6: Father of the Year. She snuck out nail it in
- 35:00Speaker 6: the middle of the night, and then he won Father
- 35:02Speaker 6: of the Year.
- 35:03Speaker 5: It was so emotional. A silver platter.
- 35:07Speaker 8: I think they did everything when they were the silver platter.
- 35:10Speaker 6: You know it's funny too, is that, you know, like
- 35:12Speaker 6: Mike won all these architecture awards, Greg won all these
- 35:15Speaker 6: athletic awards, Peter won.
- 35:16Speaker 5: All the and I thought Bobby hasn't won many awards.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Bobby was kind of a loser. Yeah, Bobby, I want
- 35:21Speaker 5: to check this off. The Menace wish list, tore the
- 35:24Speaker 5: britty bunch.
- 35:24Speaker 7: Yay, nice nice chucked off.
- 35:30Speaker 5: All right, so all the stuff that's left. Visit the
- 35:33Speaker 5: Jack in the Box test Kitchen. I know, first one
- 35:36Speaker 5: that people hit us up about, but nothing has happened.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Nothing in that one. He still wants to be knighted. Yes,
- 35:42Speaker 5: and the Arts by the Country of Yeah, visit the
- 35:48Speaker 5: Dude Perfect headquarters in Frisco, Texas. Allegedly we know people
- 35:52Speaker 5: that know people there. Well, I had a conversation with
- 35:54Speaker 5: somebody else really, and I'm going to put it about
- 35:58Speaker 5: eighty nine percent really even pretty cool, I will I
- 36:03Speaker 5: will know because some people that that we are friends with,
- 36:08Speaker 5: they are literally in business with them, like they they
- 36:11Speaker 5: own a business together.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Really.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Yeah, And they were just doing a big charity golf
- 36:17Speaker 5: tournament thing yesterday with them, and I happened to speak
- 36:20Speaker 5: with them while they were Yeah. So yeah, the big
- 36:24Speaker 5: question I was like, are you kidding no this, this
- 36:26Speaker 5: dude's a fan. They're like, well, you know, we're not
- 36:29Speaker 5: gonna like you know what, like this is not like
- 36:32Speaker 5: you're not you're not punking them, right Like in other words,
- 36:35Speaker 5: you're gonna go look at it and then you're gonna
- 36:36Speaker 5: make fun of them or ribbon or whatever, because I
- 36:39Speaker 5: guess that's happened before. They've gotten burned by people. No,
- 36:43Speaker 5: this dude's a fan, Yeah, and just wants to see
- 36:45Speaker 5: the headquarters and like, oh no, cool, cool cool cool, Yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 5: I hate let's see Menace wants to stand on top
- 36:52Speaker 5: of a wind turbine. Yeah, so random, most random wants
- 36:57Speaker 5: to be wants to be an extra on the Apple
- 37:00Speaker 5: TV Plus show The Studio. Feel like that can be
- 37:02Speaker 5: so good. Still haven't heard anything about that. Watch a
- 37:05Speaker 5: taping of Something's Burning with Bert Kreischer's on the list.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Oh, I do have some news on that as well.
- 37:11Speaker 6: That's where Menace is going today. Today, Today, what you're
- 37:14Speaker 6: going to go to a taping of Something's Burning? No
- 37:17Speaker 6: way today. I talked to Burt yesterdays or anybody, anybody.
- 37:23Speaker 6: I'm really sorry, no, and yeah, so do dude, how
- 37:28Speaker 6: things like yeah, hey, I'm just sorry, just you know,
- 37:30Speaker 6: reaching out because it's MENACE's birthday month and he's trying
- 37:32Speaker 6: to watch it.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Oh dude, absolutely, no way, we're doing tomorrow. You want
- 37:37Speaker 5: to come on tomorrow?
- 37:38Speaker 9: I hope you have a cute fit in.
- 37:39Speaker 5: The car and it's a pretty wide window. I think
- 37:42Speaker 5: they're shooting two different episodes. Yeah, but I have Yes,
- 37:48Speaker 5: I have the number. I've got the address and and
- 37:52Speaker 5: everything else, so we can once once that. I said,
- 37:55Speaker 5: he just wants to he just wants to sit there
- 37:57Speaker 5: and cook.
- 37:58Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I said, just put him in the cup chair.
- 38:03Speaker 12: See.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Yeah, it's been when saw Summers saw you like, oh,
- 38:08Speaker 5: you're all over the place and it's like yeah, so yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 5: I'm like, do you wand him downtime? Well, I'm playing. Uh,
- 38:12Speaker 5: I'm playing, and then I'm gonna go to Arizona and
- 38:16Speaker 5: yeah then I'm a week off and his daughter, so
- 38:20Speaker 5: it's gonna he's gonna have like a nice week.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Yeah. So I caught up a Bert yesterday and and
- 38:26Speaker 5: got that, we got that something else knocked on the
- 38:28Speaker 5: list here. It's a good week. Yeah. Oh and also
- 38:33Speaker 5: the you know, the the the trip to Dubai is happening.
- 38:35Speaker 5: I had a lot of dealings with that yesterday. I think, Uh,
- 38:39Speaker 5: I think we're gonna announce all the details on on Monday.
- 38:43Speaker 5: All right, Oh good, So I think the contest will
- 38:45Speaker 5: literally start on Monday. We'll we'll tell you how it works.
- 38:47Speaker 5: But we have to get all the the stuff with
- 38:49Speaker 5: the lawyers and everything else signed off before I can
- 38:52Speaker 5: announce and tell you anything. But yeah, Medisa and I
- 38:54Speaker 5: are going to do an extreme weekend trip to Dubai.
- 38:57Speaker 5: I'm not leaving the airport because we're gonna fly sixteen
- 39:00Speaker 5: hours to Dubai. We're gonna land, I'm gonna hang out
- 39:02Speaker 5: in the lounge, and then we're gonna get right back
- 39:04Speaker 5: on a plane and fly the sixteen hours back. I
- 39:06Speaker 5: only want to see the plane. Menace wants to fly
- 39:08Speaker 5: first class on Dubai. That's been on his list for years,
- 39:11Speaker 5: and he's gonna take the six or seven hour layover
- 39:14Speaker 5: to go see a couple things within fifteen minutes of
- 39:16Speaker 5: the airport. But we are giving away a ticket to
- 39:19Speaker 5: go with us to a lucky what do you show listener?
- 39:21Speaker 8: Amazing, it's a.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Twenty five thousand dollars value. A round trip ticket on
- 39:28Speaker 5: Emirates first class to Dubai is twenty five thousand dollars.
- 39:32Speaker 8: All the caviar you can eat.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Get ready, it's crazy anyway, So MENACE's Birthday Month.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Everybody Menaces Birthday Month, sponsored by the Letter l for
- 39:42Speaker 1: loser and by the number zero, the official percentage that
- 39:45Speaker 1: a grown man with a birthday month could.
- 39:47Speaker 5: Ever be cool. So Alter Ego tickets every hour seven
- 39:50Speaker 5: am to seven pm announced Alter Ego. Yesterday Sublime was here.
- 39:54Speaker 5: That was awesome. It was a lot of great reaction
- 39:56Speaker 5: on the video, which is also on our Instagram along
- 39:58Speaker 5: with the Brady Bunch thing and the delivery driver appreciation
- 40:02Speaker 5: spin for me Yesterday.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Was on today.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Yeah. People digging all that stuff. Yeah stuff Yeah. So
- 40:08Speaker 5: all three go tickets Green Day twenty one, Pilot's Cage,
- 40:12Speaker 5: The Elephant, Sublime, Good Charlotte, Miles Smith and more, all
- 40:15Speaker 5: happening at the Forum hosted by The Woody Show on Saturday,
- 40:17Speaker 5: January seventeenth. First chance to win tickets today, next hour
- 40:22Speaker 5: at seven to fifty Now, next hour seven am, and
- 40:25Speaker 5: then eight am. I'm gonna announce the song that you
- 40:28Speaker 5: are listening for in those respective hours. When you hear
- 40:32Speaker 5: that song will be your cue to call in and
- 40:35Speaker 5: win tickets to Dodgers Game five on Saturday. Hell yeah, now,
- 40:40Speaker 5: these are right back in those awesome seats, the stadium
- 40:43Speaker 5: club box seats that have like the all you can
- 40:46Speaker 5: eat buffet awesome view of the game, just hanging out
- 40:49Speaker 5: with other Woody Show listeners that are going to be
- 40:50Speaker 5: winning this week. And so it's today, tomorrow and Friday
- 40:55Speaker 5: that we're giving those away in the seven am and
- 40:56Speaker 5: eight am hours, same thing we did last week. I'll
- 40:59Speaker 5: tell you what's you're listening for. That will be your
- 41:01Speaker 5: cue to call in. Be calling ninety eight win the
- 41:04Speaker 5: Dodgers tickets. Now, somebody already on the tech said, well,
- 41:06Speaker 5: what if there's no game five, Well then you didn't
- 41:08Speaker 5: win nothing. You're not by the way, you're not getting
- 41:11Speaker 5: a replacement prize. There you go, that's it.
- 41:16Speaker 8: It's a decent game.
- 41:17Speaker 5: Yeah, like the Dodgers will give me the thousands and
- 41:20Speaker 5: thousands and thousands of dollars that I spent on these tickets.
- 41:23Speaker 5: These weren't free the Dodgers, did I give them this
- 41:25Speaker 5: from the from the from the goodness of our hearts
- 41:29Speaker 5: and our budget that we bought these tickets and we're
- 41:31Speaker 5: giving them away to you. And uh yeah, I think
- 41:35Speaker 5: we get the money back, right, So yeah, we'll get that.
- 41:39Speaker 8: That's good.
- 41:39Speaker 5: But if there's no game, but there's no Game five,
- 41:42Speaker 5: we get the money back. But then you get nothing,
- 41:44Speaker 5: and you will have been no worse off than you
- 41:46Speaker 5: were before. You get the Dodgers going to the World Series.
- 41:48Speaker 5: Let's be honest. I think I think the Brewers are
- 41:51Speaker 5: just too good of a team. They're gonna win at
- 41:52Speaker 5: least one game. I think the Dodgers win the series
- 41:55Speaker 5: for sure, but I think they're going to win one
- 41:58Speaker 5: of these next two games. I think there will absolutely
- 42:00Speaker 5: be a game five. You better there is you better
- 42:03Speaker 5: hope they win and uh yeah, you have a chance
- 42:05Speaker 5: to win. Tickets seven am and eight am here on
- 42:08Speaker 5: the Woody Show. I fired it without clutching.
- 42:10Speaker 4: My god scrolls and turn into a turn.
- 42:13Speaker 5: Turns the Woody Show, and let's jump over to the well,
- 42:22Speaker 5: my right side of the room. That's where Gina grad
- 42:24Speaker 5: is standing by, and she's got this morning's trending news headlines. Yep, well.
- 42:28Speaker 8: Game two of the NLCS went down last night and
- 42:30Speaker 8: the Dodgers pulled off another big win in Milwaukee. Yoshinobu
- 42:34Speaker 8: Yamamoto pitched a complete game jam He only allowed one
- 42:38Speaker 8: run on three hits. He's the first Dodger pitcher to
- 42:41Speaker 8: do that in the postseason twenty one years.
- 42:44Speaker 5: By the way.
- 42:45Speaker 8: With the two to nothing series lead, La is now
- 42:47Speaker 8: just two wins away from another World Series as they
- 42:50Speaker 8: shift back home tomorrow. Over in the Alcs, the Mariners
- 42:53Speaker 8: are looking to take a three to nothing lead over
- 42:56Speaker 8: the Blue Jays in Seattle tonight. Well, Alex Jones of
- 43:00Speaker 8: the let's call him controversial podcaster?
- 43:03Speaker 5: Is that a good word for it?
- 43:04Speaker 8: He tried to get out of paying the one point
- 43:06Speaker 8: four billion dollar judgment against him for spreading lies about
- 43:09Speaker 8: the twenty twelve Sandy Hook School shooting, but the Supreme
- 43:12Speaker 8: Court shut that down. The kicker is the court didn't
- 43:15Speaker 8: even want to hear the case. They just denied it
- 43:17Speaker 8: out right with no explanation, and Jones is now stuck
- 43:20Speaker 8: paying the one point four billion with his attorney's probably
- 43:23Speaker 8: it Yeah, an amount that could never be paid, right,
- 43:27Speaker 8: but I mean, you know, whatever he's got, I'm sure
- 43:30Speaker 8: they'll take it.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Well.
- 43:31Speaker 7: That also, doesn't that like bury you from opening accounts
- 43:34Speaker 7: and things like that, because that's what happened to the
- 43:37Speaker 7: people at Gawker allegedly after they lost the Yeah, with
- 43:41Speaker 7: the whole Colgan lawsuit. Is just like, yeah, you can't
- 43:43Speaker 7: even open a bank account.
- 43:45Speaker 5: You mean, I would imagine they would garnish your wages
- 43:49Speaker 5: would anything off. You can't get loans for houses and
- 43:53Speaker 5: stuff like that. You're your crew. Yeah, you're screwed.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Well.
- 43:59Speaker 8: Instagram is adding new PG thirteen style rules to make
- 44:02Speaker 8: teen accounts safer. So starting this week, anyone under eighteen
- 44:06Speaker 8: will automatically be put in a thirteen plus mode and
- 44:08Speaker 8: that blocks mature or explicit content content. They can't even
- 44:12Speaker 8: turn it off without their parents' approval. And the Apple
- 44:15Speaker 8: also stop teens from searching things like alcohol, sex, and
- 44:18Speaker 8: gore and keep them from following or messaging accounts that
- 44:21Speaker 8: have you know, adult material. Now Meta says they're doing
- 44:25Speaker 8: this to speak the language of parents, quote unquote, and
- 44:28Speaker 8: are following movie ratings to keep being simple. So that's
- 44:31Speaker 8: where the gore and the sex and stuff comes from.
- 44:33Speaker 5: But see, here's the thing. The kids just sign up
- 44:35Speaker 5: on their own. It's not like the parents are setting
- 44:38Speaker 5: up their account till you put in.
- 44:39Speaker 9: A fake birthday, so it says older than you.
- 44:42Speaker 8: Actually, I wonder how far down? Yeah, like if it's
- 44:44Speaker 8: IP address, I mean something can go.
- 44:47Speaker 5: They might start doing that where you have to scan
- 44:48Speaker 5: your driver's license or or some some type of proofs that.
- 44:52Speaker 8: You're obviously they can't scan a dars like thirteen.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Oh that's right, that's right. I forgot certain states that
- 44:58Speaker 5: are doing that. You have to enter like a credit
- 45:00Speaker 5: hard or you're on the radar to verify. Okay, look,
- 45:05Speaker 5: everybody knows the internate just four point what was that
- 45:08Speaker 5: Avenue Cure the intern in it speaks to your speaks
- 45:18Speaker 5: to your Broadway Hard, It speaks to my sense of humor.
- 45:21Speaker 5: It speaks to my sense of humor. But yeah, it's
- 45:24Speaker 5: that was an actual musical. It's a great musical.
- 45:25Speaker 8: They have a song called Everyone's a Little Bit Racist. Yeah,
- 45:28Speaker 8: it's like Muppets basically, it's basically Sesame Street.
- 45:31Speaker 5: But yeah, adults, it's great. Want to Tony.
- 45:33Speaker 8: So they're gonna update this whole thirteen plus thing in
- 45:37Speaker 8: the US, UK, Australia and Canada for now. Meanwhile, starting
- 45:41Speaker 8: in December, chat GPT is gonna let adult users create
- 45:45Speaker 8: erotic context.
- 45:46Speaker 16: Okay, see again, hugging men, horn to porn, torn porn.
- 45:58Speaker 5: It's a great show. Yeah.
- 46:00Speaker 8: Actually, oh my god, I think uh Wicket lost to
- 46:03Speaker 8: Avenue Q that year. I was there owner.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 46:05Speaker 8: So in a post on X on Tuesday, open Ai
- 46:08Speaker 8: CEO Sam Altman said upcoming versions of the chatbot will
- 46:12Speaker 8: allow it to behave in a more human like way,
- 46:14Speaker 8: but only if you want it to. There will also
- 46:16Speaker 8: be age verifications, so no only verified adults and I
- 46:20Speaker 8: think that's where the driver's license comes in can access
- 46:23Speaker 8: this stuff. He also explained that chat GBT used to
- 46:26Speaker 8: be more restricted to protect people's mental health, but that
- 46:29Speaker 8: made it less fun, so the company now wants to
- 46:32Speaker 8: relax that to be more fun for adults.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Because the Internet is what for porn in everybody in
- 46:42Speaker 5: simple their flies for porn. So good.
- 46:58Speaker 8: And finally, I love that hugging your horn. Hugging your horn.
- 47:05Speaker 8: Doctors have a new type of breast cancer surgery that
- 47:08Speaker 8: removes the cancer and rebuilds the breast in one day.
- 47:11Speaker 8: This is groundbreaking. I have two friends that have had
- 47:14Speaker 8: to deal with this, and that this was the.
- 47:16Speaker 5: Cousin who's wedding I'm going to. Yeah, And even my
- 47:19Speaker 5: uncle who is on hospice and lives in Arizona, is
- 47:23Speaker 5: flying to New Jersey for this wedding because she has
- 47:25Speaker 5: been to Helen back in her you know, cancer journey
- 47:29Speaker 5: and man, watch what you know she went through. And
- 47:32Speaker 5: other people that I've known, like you said you're a
- 47:33Speaker 5: couple of friends or whatever. Dude, this is great. I
- 47:36Speaker 5: did see this. I love as you know, Greg, I've
- 47:38Speaker 5: said it for decades. I love like I'm not impressed
- 47:41Speaker 5: by celebrities. I couldn't tell you who ninety percent of
- 47:43Speaker 5: them are or why we're knowing who they are. But
- 47:47Speaker 5: I read about this stuff all the time. I love
- 47:50Speaker 5: the advances that were made in medical science. These are
- 47:55Speaker 5: the people that should be worshiped. These people that figure out,
- 47:58Speaker 5: like the drug that saved my mom life, about oh,
- 48:00Speaker 5: we're going to create this drug that basically we can
- 48:02Speaker 5: give in venously, and it's what it's gonna do. It's
- 48:04Speaker 5: going to identify just the cancer cells and it's gonna
- 48:06Speaker 5: flag it for your own immune system, so the immune
- 48:08Speaker 5: system takes it out as opposed to chemotherapy, which kills everything.
- 48:12Speaker 5: Like a human being figured it out. Like that's impressive,
- 48:15Speaker 5: it's incredible.
- 48:16Speaker 8: Yeah, just to put a finer point on it. So
- 48:19Speaker 8: instead of needing tons of surgeries weeks sometimes months apart,
- 48:23Speaker 8: patients can now just go in get everything done at once,
- 48:25Speaker 8: so the implant is placed right after the cancer tissue
- 48:28Speaker 8: is removed. It helps recovery time lowers infection risk, reduces
- 48:33Speaker 8: hospital costs. Lots of patients were even walking the next
- 48:36Speaker 8: day back to work within six weeks. This is crazy
- 48:39Speaker 8: and experts thinks this could soon become just normal for
- 48:42Speaker 8: breast cancer. So truly amazing. And that's what's going on
- 48:46Speaker 8: with Thank you very racist?
- 48:49Speaker 5: Well you're a little bit doode. I guess we're both
- 48:52Speaker 5: a little bit racist.
- 48:54Speaker 17: Ovating it is.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Not an easy thing to do, but I guess is
- 48:57Speaker 5: true between me and you. I think everyone's a little
- 49:01Speaker 5: bit racist sometimes hate crime, and you will find no
- 49:13Speaker 5: one's really coolored like maybe itself that we y'all should face.
- 49:21Speaker 5: Everyone makes judgments based on raced So it's like, Greg
- 49:28Speaker 5: think you could sit through this show. I did sit
- 49:32Speaker 5: through this.
- 49:35Speaker 8: I haven't even and I loved it, so it's really
- 49:39Speaker 8: well done.
- 49:40Speaker 6: It takes a minute to get used to seeing the
- 49:41Speaker 6: humans do the puppets, but then you kind of forget about.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Ethnic jokes.
- 49:47Speaker 16: Might be a cuth, but you're laughty because they're based
- 49:50Speaker 16: on truth.
- 49:51Speaker 5: Don't I do that? Person? I love racist jokes, everyone
- 49:58Speaker 5: enjoining them. So relaxed, all right, not gonna be this one.
- 50:03Speaker 5: There's a plane going down. One parachute there's a rabbi.
- 50:08Speaker 4: Guy.
- 50:09Speaker 5: What you're talking about, Kate, You we're telling a black joke. Well, sure, Gary,
- 50:14Speaker 5: but lots of people tell black jokes. I don't. Well,
- 50:17Speaker 5: of course you don't, you're black. But tell pollock jokes, right, Well, sir,
- 50:21Speaker 5: I do stupid pollocks. Don't get them. That's a little racist. Well, damn,
- 50:29Speaker 5: I guess you're right. How d am damn, I guess
- 50:33Speaker 5: you're right. I would venture to say that you would.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Probably people told me I'd like the Book of Mormon Intment,
- 50:40Speaker 5: which is Trey Parker and Matt Stone, perfect theater opportunity. Yeah,
- 50:44Speaker 5: all right, we're gonna take a quick break more what
- 50:46Speaker 5: he shows next? Hang on in the meantime, have an
- 50:49Speaker 5: existential crisis the Woody Show.
- 50:53Speaker 2: The show.
- 50:56Speaker 5: So there's a new game that I want to play,
- 51:01Speaker 5: and we're gonna do that. Forty to appear in the
- 51:03Speaker 5: next hour. All right. It's it's based on something happened
- 51:07Speaker 5: recently here on the show right now. Yeah, by accident, right,
- 51:10Speaker 5: by accident. But we're gonna we're gonna turn it into
- 51:12Speaker 5: a game and see how it goes. Because people like
- 51:16Speaker 5: people like the moment.
- 51:17Speaker 8: Yeah, that's pretty funny.
- 51:18Speaker 5: That Can we take a moment and make something out
- 51:20Speaker 5: of it? Oh yeah, all right, we'll see, we'll see.
- 51:22Speaker 5: That's coming up. Welcome back. It's a Wednesday morning. Phones
- 51:27Speaker 5: are open eight seven seven four. Woodie, you can't sends
- 51:30Speaker 5: a text over to two to nine eight seven. Guys,
- 51:33Speaker 5: Ready for a brand new redneck news.
- 51:36Speaker 10: The wood Show.
- 51:37Speaker 5: If you've got more dogs than tape, that's pretty big news.
- 51:45Speaker 5: And today's redneck news. It's from North Carolina where this
- 51:48Speaker 5: woman she was doing some shopping at the local dollar
- 51:51Speaker 5: store when she got confronted by this other chick about
- 51:55Speaker 5: the shirt she was wearing. It was a super sweet
- 51:59Speaker 5: NASCAR shirt and the woman liked it. She liked it
- 52:03Speaker 5: a lot. In fact, she liked it so much that
- 52:05Speaker 5: she demanded that you'd take it off and hand it over.
- 52:08Speaker 5: She was being robbed of her Nascar like it was
- 52:11Speaker 5: in the middle of a dollar store. Anyway, the woman refused.
- 52:14Speaker 5: They started yelling and screaming at each other. Then I
- 52:16Speaker 5: got physical when the chicken the NASCAR shirt started chucking
- 52:19Speaker 5: bottles of water. The chicken was trying to steal it.
- 52:22Speaker 5: The stealing chick walked away, in fact, left the store,
- 52:26Speaker 5: but then came back moments later packing heat. Oh my god.
- 52:31Speaker 5: The dollar store employees were able to rush most everyone
- 52:34Speaker 5: to safety in the back of the store, but this
- 52:36Speaker 5: one teenage girl got left behind, went into the fetal
- 52:39Speaker 5: position when this psycho lady pointed the gun right in
- 52:41Speaker 5: her head. Now keep in mind doing it right. This
- 52:44Speaker 5: all started over a NASCAR shirt. It here's a witness
- 52:48Speaker 5: talking about it on the local news.
- 52:50Speaker 11: She asked her to give her the shirt that she
- 52:53Speaker 11: wanted the shirt, so the lady of course told to no,
- 52:56Speaker 11: she wasn't going to give her the shirt. Came back
- 52:58Speaker 11: with a gun waving in at everyone going in the store.
- 53:02Speaker 11: When the lady's seen her, so she pointed the gun
- 53:04Speaker 11: at her hate and the little girl just laid there
- 53:07Speaker 11: in like fetal position.
- 53:09Speaker 5: Yeah sure, And then she's seen it, Yeah, she's seen it.
- 53:13Speaker 5: Please arrested the woman, who, by the way, had her
- 53:16Speaker 5: kid in the store with her the entire time material
- 53:20Speaker 5: right there, and she was taken to jail. So that's
- 53:23Speaker 5: from North Carolina where the woman pulls the gun after
- 53:26Speaker 5: failing to rob a woman of her super sweet NASCAR
- 53:29Speaker 5: shirt in the middle of the dollar store. Cool, and
- 53:32Speaker 5: that is today's read. It reminds me, there's a shirt
- 53:38Speaker 5: that I want to buy.
- 53:39Speaker 7: Yeah, right, yeah, it's a it's a collaboration with this
- 53:43Speaker 7: brand called Anti Social Social Club.
- 53:46Speaker 6: Anti Social Social Club. I feel like I've heard of that.
- 53:49Speaker 6: Don't buy it, man, it's just steal itough somebody.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, true. I don't think but those sound like
- 53:53Speaker 5: they're the fancier ones. I don't think that's going to
- 53:55Speaker 5: be at the dollar store menu. They just they just
- 53:58Speaker 5: dropped it. It's a special lab.
- 54:00Speaker 9: You know, like my OJ shirt.
- 54:02Speaker 5: It's kind of like an shirt that's better.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Wow.
- 54:04Speaker 5: Say that's hilarious. Yeah, it does look and it's a
- 54:10Speaker 5: remix like a NASCAR thing.
- 54:11Speaker 9: Yeah, that's good syllable right, Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 5: You gotta hold on to that. How any other women
- 54:18Speaker 5: own that shirt?
- 54:18Speaker 4: Zero?
- 54:20Speaker 5: Wonderful many chicks that own that shirt? Yeah, a lot
- 54:25Speaker 5: of dudes, A lot of guys like our friend Tony Mott. Yes,
- 54:28Speaker 5: that would be a boy. He definitely. He loves OJ
- 54:34Speaker 5: and he loves Nascar and he loves Nascar. That's true.
- 54:36Speaker 5: That's true. Eight seven seven forty four. Woody is the
- 54:39Speaker 5: phone number you can set. It's a text over to
- 54:41Speaker 5: two two nine eight seven. In fact, we want you
- 54:44Speaker 5: to call now let's let's open up the phones eight seven, seven,
- 54:48Speaker 5: forty four, Woody, and you're going to call in. Let's
- 54:51Speaker 5: just start with caller ninety eight. I was wondering how
- 54:53Speaker 5: you're going to start this. We're just gonna start with
- 54:55Speaker 5: callar ninety eight and then and then from there I
- 54:57Speaker 5: will explain and then that will come up next to
- 54:59Speaker 5: a we'll tell you how you can win. And we're
- 55:02Speaker 5: gonna need everybody else's involvement in this as well. So
- 55:04Speaker 5: even if you're not the contestant, you have a role. Yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 5: you'll you have a very important role in this game.
- 55:12Speaker 13: Show.
- 55:14Speaker 5: And we're into another new hour with something we're gonna
- 55:18Speaker 5: try it for the for the first time on purpose. Yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 5: it was kind of my accident before when we were
- 55:25Speaker 5: looking for the winner and they got disconnected. We kept
- 55:28Speaker 5: going through the lines trying to trying to find them,
- 55:31Speaker 5: trying to find them again. But yeah, so, uh, the
- 55:35Speaker 5: name of the game is can you get back through?
- 55:37Speaker 5: All right?
- 55:38Speaker 12: And so.
- 55:40Speaker 5: I'm just gonna grab a I'm gonna grab a caller here.
- 55:42Speaker 5: Let's go, uh line six, who's this.
- 55:46Speaker 6: John?
- 55:47Speaker 5: John? All right? So John, we're trying this for the
- 55:52Speaker 5: first time. We'll see if it sucks, it might it

- 55:59Speaker 5: We're gonna hang up on you, and your job is
- 56:01Speaker 5: to get back through. You have five minutes to get
- 56:05Speaker 5: back through. A whole minute. Yeah, five minutes to get
- 56:07Speaker 5: back through, all right, meme, same number, same number, eight
- 56:11Speaker 5: seven seven forty four, Woodie. Now when we put you on,
- 56:15Speaker 5: actually hold on, Morgan, did you give him the password already? Okay,
- 56:19Speaker 5: so this way we know it's actually John when he
- 56:21Speaker 5: calls back in, all right, in person? Right, yeah, yeah, exactly. Now,
- 56:28Speaker 5: everybody else who's listening, we also want you to call

- 56:40Speaker 5: but it's your job, the rest of listeners just to
- 56:42Speaker 5: keep calling in and try to keep John from getting

- 1:02:11Speaker 5: Yeah. How's everybody feel about the game. It's pretty funny.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: I mean, the inaugural game. It's so dumb. I think
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: we would be more prepared with some other kind of
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: shorter questions for the other people who are calling in,
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: But I kind of like it.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: But I think Sweet and Savors should stay on the left.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: But I kind of like the randomness other. Yeah, and
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: we got to say hi to so many.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: People I don't know. Yeah, it's nice. And everybody else
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: thank you for doing your part and trying to jam
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: the lines up for John but yeah, good enough, and
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: thanks for coming up with new passwords.
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: Somebody asked if it was cake for.
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: I figured would go really easy on this first one,
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: you know, that's our generic, sure, but uh, the other
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: one is going to be even more random, like you're
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: never You're just not gonna be able to guess no way. Yeah,
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: all right, So how's it really feel about the new
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: game on the text over to two two nine eight seven.
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: I like it. We'll take a break and then we're
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: gonna come back and there's a there's a game that
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: we can all play along with. Morgan actually, uh discovered
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: this when she was online. She found this this game
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: and she ordered it. Yeah, and she figured that it
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: could be something that we could do on the show.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: All right, Okay, I think you'll like it. And in
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: the way that she described to me, I think Greg
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: for sure, Gina for sure. I think we're all gonna
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: dig it. So Morgan found a game online and she
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: purchased it. She brought it in and we're gonna another
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: game to try. I'm excited. People love games, Yeah, people
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: love games listed food food surveys, Yeah, they love all
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: that stuff. Yeah, so tell us about this game and
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: let's play.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: So yeah, it's called Throwback Lyrics, a party music game. Okay,
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: says everything you need to say. I did not realize though,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: the one the box that I bought is like hip.
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: Hop and R and B themes.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: Okay, so this is our so Greg in well, I
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: don't know.

- 1:04:11Speaker 5: You're gonna like, uh, you're gonna throw But how do
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: it works? So you you you read it?
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: Yeah, I just have a question.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: So like in this song, this person refers to this,
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: maybe shout out our name kind of like finish the
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: lyric type of thing.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, let's do that. Yeah, we'll shout Okay,
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: if you think you know what it is.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Okay, Like I said, we'll start easy. We hear this
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: song every damn day, Okay, in in the club? What
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: does fifty cent have a bottle full of? The correct
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: answer is bub okay, lazy.

- 1:05:17Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: If you really needed I have multiple choice, but some
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: of these I think you should just get.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: You know, I know the song, I don't know the

- 1:05:40Speaker 3: Kay.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Did she smacked him silly? Did she lie to him?
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Did she kick?

- 1:16:28Speaker 5: I'm like, how do they get this because they're talking

- 1:18:24Speaker 9: Yeah, when's the dog coming.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: I gotta tell you, Greg, it's kind of your fault
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: because after that poop story, my heart feels very closed.

- 1:29:54Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, one hundred, one hundred and one dollars play
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: for four people. That's kick yourself something. It was a

- 1:30:14Speaker 5: that's that's okay. Let's not get defensive. No, I'm just saying,
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: like he tries to make it about things like that
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: all the time. But like people order every once a time,
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: you order.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: Plan in advance. At least you got pasta in the house,
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: or you mac and cheese. It gotten late that I'm
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: saying that the night got away.
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: It was late. I was gonna have to go to
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: bed here soon. Like, let's just get this done. Let's
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: just have something. When you gave the premium, you get
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: that dash taste. It take to be forty five minutes. No,
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: that's why I want chick flea is is the quickest
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: that in Chipotle for us are the quickest. Always they'll

- 1:30:47Speaker 5: heaven forbid. You do the easy thing and actually try
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: to make your life a little simpler for one second.
- 1:30:53Speaker 15: Look, Greg, we're right on this. We're your maximum, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:57Speaker 15: I do walk back in what happened?
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: No, I've done it too. What where you just don't plan? Yeah,
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: the hours tick by and then you're like, damn it,
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: well I'm going to pay eighty seven dollars for two burritos.
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: Now you just don't have the time or the will.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: I've done it right, but you kick yourself it. We
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: were in that situation, the situation. Yes, it was late.
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: We decided to order somebody that'll make. But I'll rather
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: just make a dinner out of like ice cubes and
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: soy sauce. Whatever house see it taking more than ten
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: minutes for a hot pocket or whatever. You know, Yeah,
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: in your situation, go ahead.
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: And do it.
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: Split a hot make some eggs, make it a well,
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: you know, you could cereal. Whatever I feel when you
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: say that, it's the same as when somebody goes, well,
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: you know what you could have done with that money, like,
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: and you're like, no, it's that's not what this is about.
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: This is next level. Look, you know what you could
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: have done it your life? Just done it all over again.
- 1:31:46Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, build a time machine. Yeah, make macaroni and
- 1:31:49Speaker 8: a lot of deflection.
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: Greg, It's it's I did it. It's not deflecting. I
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: just don't. I just don't.
- 1:31:55Speaker 8: One of those nights where he was choosing not to
- 1:31:57Speaker 8: make pasta and chose to do this, and this is
- 1:32:00Speaker 8: how much it costs.
- 1:32:00Speaker 5: Correct, we're getting the scenario. We totally understand sixty sixty
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: one percent want their food delivered by a human, but
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: people like men Is keep waiting for the robots for decades. Yeah, no,
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: I see them around side. I know a girl who gets.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: She gets deliveries all the time from a Goop kitchen
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: from a robot. Yeah. Yeah, I think the idea is
- 1:32:25Speaker 5: a good thing, but the thirty five percent do not,
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: like Dutch.
- 1:32:27Speaker 6: I saw one of the delivery robots the other day
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: and it was confused. It was just kind of going
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: back and then it stopped and went this way and
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: then went that way, confused.
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: I saw the one couple of weeks ago where there
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: was a fire truck coming and it kind of got
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: paralyzed in the middle of the crosswalk, and the fire
- 1:32:43Speaker 5: truck is like honking and waiting on this thing because
- 1:32:45Speaker 5: it's just sitting right in the middle of the section.
- 1:32:47Speaker 5: If I'm the fire truck, you well within your right
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: to just mow that thing over, you have to. They didn't.
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: They kind of waited it out for a minute, and
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: the thing eventually figured out what was going on and
- 1:32:56Speaker 5: moved along. But dude, how cool that ben Greg, Like,
- 1:32:59Speaker 5: if you're driving that fire truck, I would have hit
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: the gas. You know, I probably feel too guilty doing that. Yeah,
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: because they're oddly nice, you know.
- 1:33:07Speaker 12: They.
- 1:33:09Speaker 8: Don't put eyes on them.
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: I got to take a break. We can win MENACE's
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: door dash order. Yeah, I told you about my order,
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: all right, but apparently that went overwhelm the rooms. It
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: wasn't the it wasn't the one. It was now Menace medics.
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: Why don't you just like make something? Oh because they
- 1:33:24Speaker 5: didn't want it? Yeah, there you go.
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: Alright.
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: I don't nderstand why he just makes it. Here's Menace.
- 1:33:29Speaker 5: He's not being defensive. It's like, yeah, I was. I
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: was stoned and lazy. He chose not to he but
- 1:33:34Speaker 5: that was my point. The way you framed it was like, oh,
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: we just you know, we couldn't be put out. It
- 1:33:39Speaker 5: was four able body people, not one of us. That's
- 1:33:42Speaker 5: not it. That's not water. You were not one of
- 1:33:45Speaker 5: you were stoned out of your court. They got you there.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll take a break and then we'll get a
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: round of Menaces door dash order. You can win MENACE's
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: door dash order coming up next here on The Woody
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: Show eight seven, seven forty four. What is the number
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: well you can win MENACE's door dash order. Menace known
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: to order random things random reasons, sometimes just because other
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: times because you know, he's at a wedding and things
- 1:34:14Speaker 5: aren't moving quick enough for the bartender. The tires, one
- 1:34:18Speaker 5: of them for a wedding of hundreds of b ball Yeah,
- 1:34:20Speaker 5: and so it'll you'll have a delivery maid right there
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: to whatever place he's at here, just whatever, not to
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: his not to his standard. That restaurant they said they
- 1:34:29Speaker 5: ran out of coke, So I had cokes delivered, Yeah,
- 1:34:32Speaker 5: from the convenience store down the skit. That's right, Yeah,
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: that's right, and sea best you have the orders here.
- 1:34:37Speaker 5: I do remind we've only done this one one other time.
- 1:34:39Speaker 5: So what was the what was the props? He arrived?
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: The order in detail?
- 1:34:44Speaker 15: As far as what it was if he remembers, I'll
- 1:34:46Speaker 15: give us some of the backstory, okay, and I'll give
- 1:34:48Speaker 15: you out range, I'll say, you know, with then let's
- 1:34:50Speaker 15: say five or ten bucks? How much did the was
- 1:34:52Speaker 15: the total cost? All in cost everything, you know, tips
- 1:34:55Speaker 15: and so on included?
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: All right, let me go and grab a contesting here
- 1:34:58Speaker 5: and say hi to good morning Leslie. How are you.
- 1:35:04Speaker 15: Hi?
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: Good morning? Good morning? All right, so Leslie, you're gonna
- 1:35:07Speaker 5: be the contestant here. And what is MENACE's door dash order?
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: He ordered from a grocery store one sixteen ounce jar
- 1:35:16Speaker 5: a Skippy Super Chunk Extra chunky peanut butter extra chunky.
- 1:35:20Speaker 5: One jar of peanut butter super chunk. That's all you ordered.
- 1:35:25Speaker 5: That's it, the whole order. You needed that right away.
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: This is not the only time I've done You can't
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: add to like the next time I go to the
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: store list list. Thank you for being rational rule Woody.
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: Do you recall why you needed one jar peanut butter?
- 1:35:39Speaker 7: Yes, I was consuming uh, the Devil's lettuce, but I
- 1:35:44Speaker 7: had ice cream. And this is the only reason I
- 1:35:46Speaker 7: would ever order a single thing of peanut butter if
- 1:35:49Speaker 7: I don't have in the house, is because I want
- 1:35:51Speaker 7: to put the peanut butter in my ice cream.
- 1:35:53Speaker 5: I do like to do that, and you couldn't. And
- 1:35:55Speaker 5: I get it, you couldn't drive. Yeah, being safe.

- 1:36:07Speaker 5: I think I do remember you telling us this story,
- 1:36:10Speaker 5: and I don't know if it was on the air
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: or not, but I have an idea of how much
- 1:36:13Speaker 5: that was. I'm not going to say it. I'm going
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: to exclude myself from trying to guess the price because
- 1:36:18Speaker 5: I think I remember hearing this somehow, I just don't
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: remember exactly.
- 1:36:22Speaker 15: I'll give you a generous price range five dollars, so
- 1:36:25Speaker 15: within five dollars plus or minus, doesn't matter either way.

- 1:36:41Speaker 5: Eleven dollars, say, twelve fifty, twelve fifty, Okay, Leslie, what
- 1:36:47Speaker 5: do you think?
- 1:36:49Speaker 14: Oh, we'll be around like fifteen.

- 1:37:13Speaker 15: of five forty nine. Oh my god, a tip of
- 1:37:15Speaker 15: two dollars, yeah.
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: Fourteen seventy one? Yeah, a two dollars. What's more than
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: the peanut Butter's?
- 1:37:28Speaker 18: God?
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: So a two dollars and some what's the tip? Yeah,
- 1:37:32Speaker 5: jar peanut butter and up cost? Hi damn near fifteen dollars?
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: Yeah? Whatever, I'm high.
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: I need it from my ice cream. You understand I'm kidding,
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: all right, Leslie, congratulations you are a winner here on
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: MENACE's door dash order Jar peanut butter. Yeah, hi, Jar,
- 1:37:48Speaker 5: I got so many. You're walk cat and I hang on,
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: hang on one second, let's go to uh Ivan. Hey,
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: good morning, Ivan, Hey, good morning.
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: How are you doing?
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: We're doing great? All right? So were playing win Menaces
- 1:38:01Speaker 5: door dash order. And the next order is.
- 1:38:04Speaker 15: From a liquor store. He bought just two things, a
- 1:38:08Speaker 15: leader leader of Margarita mix. Nice, just the mix, and
- 1:38:12Speaker 15: one bag of flaming Hot.
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: Cheetos Margarita mix.
- 1:38:17Speaker 15: If it matters the brand, that's master of mixes, Margarita Mixed,
- 1:38:21Speaker 15: Margarita mix and a bag of flaming Hot Cheeto The
- 1:38:24Speaker 15: big bag is an eight and a half ounce bag
- 1:38:26Speaker 15: of flaming Cheetos.
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: All right, and what's the what's the range? Within seven
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: dollars seven? I have no idea how how much Margarita
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: mixed costs. Having just bought Cheetos the other day, they
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: were five ninety nine. Okay, big bag, yeah, I believe
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: it was the big one. How much how much Margarita mix?
- 1:38:44Speaker 5: What does that go for? If I ever bought it.
- 1:38:45Speaker 8: Fifteen that much? I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever bought it either. I would
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: think a mixer would only be in the four dollars five.
- 1:38:57Speaker 15: Yeah, they do have the high end mixers that come
- 1:38:59Speaker 15: in like little Last bottles, but this is not that.
- 1:39:01Speaker 5: Yeah, so ten tip, twelve and then apparently the fee
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: is seven and what what's the what?
- 1:39:08Speaker 12: What?
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: What?
- 1:39:08Speaker 5: What's the ridge again? Three bucks? Seven? Seven? I'll get
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: your clue. There is a fee I've never seen on
- 1:39:13Speaker 5: here called a small order fee. Oh you get for that?
- 1:39:18Speaker 5: Wait and hold on. So the peanut butter didn't qualify
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: for that. Nope, that's insane. Non jar peanut butter didn't qualify.
- 1:39:24Speaker 8: For that, but small enough.
- 1:39:25Speaker 5: Maybe it was the area that I was in. Okay,
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: so Menace ordered some marguerite to mix and a bag
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: of flaming hot Cheetos.
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: That small order fee is probably an additional buck. Okay,
- 1:39:34Speaker 6: maybe put me down for eleven dollars. Oh really, you're
- 1:39:38Speaker 6: down for nineteen?
- 1:39:40Speaker 8: Put me down for thirty thirty. I'm jaded by this.
- 1:39:44Speaker 5: Now, Ivan, Yeah, what what's your guess? How much do
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: you think that order cost?
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:39:56Speaker 18: What's a tips and everything?
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: I'm seeing.
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: Twenty three dollars?
- 1:40:01Speaker 15: Twenty three dollars all right, now, the cheetos and the
- 1:40:05Speaker 15: mix only costs ten dollars ninety eight cents all together.
- 1:40:07Speaker 15: Oh damn up front to ninety nine delivery fee dollars
- 1:40:11Speaker 15: sixty five service fee, which is different than a delivery
- 1:40:13Speaker 15: fee right, small order fee of three dollars dollars tax
- 1:40:17Speaker 15: of a dollar four and a tip menace a three
- 1:40:19Speaker 15: fifty not bad twenty three sixteen.
- 1:40:23Speaker 5: Six.
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: Apparently you would have won both showcases for a living.
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: I've congratulations, my friend. I hang on one second, now,
- 1:40:33Speaker 6: correct me on what the people win? Are they actually
- 1:40:36Speaker 6: winning some margarita mix and cheetos and some cheetos.
- 1:40:40Speaker 5: That's what we're doing. That's the name of the game.
- 1:40:43Speaker 5: So I forget what we had agreed on.
- 1:40:45Speaker 17: Give that value.
- 1:40:46Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, yeah, I will enjoy. I've been thank you.
- 1:40:49Speaker 5: The delivery fee and the service fee are two different things.
- 1:40:52Speaker 15: And they are they are also different from the small
- 1:40:54Speaker 15: order fee. Damn all the process service, the delivery, Greg,
- 1:40:58Speaker 15: you're too.
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: Smart for this game. Let's go to uh, let's go
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: to Matt. I'll get one more here, Hey, Good morning,
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: Matt morning. All right, So we are playing when MENACE's
- 1:41:08Speaker 5: door dash order and the order is five guys. Well,
- 1:41:14Speaker 5: here's the thing. It's just two items.
- 1:41:16Speaker 15: One little cheeseburger. Oh yeah, surprised menasu even order that,
- 1:41:20Speaker 15: and one little fries. It's called portion control. That's why
- 1:41:24Speaker 15: he is on the way GOV or whatever it's called
- 1:41:25Speaker 15: being a health bound bound. Sorry sorry, sorry that bound.
- 1:41:28Speaker 15: So little cheeseburger, little fries within eight dollars? How much
- 1:41:32Speaker 15: was MENACE's door dash order? Now I'll give you another
- 1:41:34Speaker 15: little hit here. There is an express fee. So he
- 1:41:38Speaker 15: wanted this fast.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: Oh I always see that option and it's only it's
- 1:41:42Speaker 5: like it caves you maybe three minutes. Oh, they get
- 1:41:45Speaker 5: me on that all the time. Yeah. I guess what
- 1:41:49Speaker 5: they don't they do differently is they don't pick up
- 1:41:51Speaker 5: other orders. They just go straight to you five guys. Recently,
- 1:41:55Speaker 5: let's see what do we got. Yeah, we got one
- 1:41:57Speaker 5: little cheeseburger baby, three little fry eyes and then one
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: then one regular cheeseburger, and then one BLT sandwich. Yeah,
- 1:42:05Speaker 5: because little fries is like a huge back. Yeah, they
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: give it because they dumped the extras in there on
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: top of vaggles. Yeah right, I get why Woody would
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: get it for kids, but manas, why do you need
- 1:42:14Speaker 5: a little cheeseburger? You just save something for later? Yeah,
- 1:42:16Speaker 5: that was my daughter's. There's no saving for later. Yeah,
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: that was my daughter's. All right, what's this range? Eight?
- 1:42:24Speaker 5: Eight bucks? Eight bucks is your window?
- 1:42:28Speaker 8: I'm going go ahead, Oh, fourteen, I'm going fourteen, fifty,
- 1:42:31Speaker 8: twenty nine.
- 1:42:32Speaker 5: Twenty nine. Put me down for thirty dollars? What oh,
- 1:42:36Speaker 5: eight bucks to work with? Yeah right, yeah, put me
- 1:42:38Speaker 5: down for thirty bucks. What do you think here, Matthew,
- 1:42:40Speaker 5: what's your guess on the order?
- 1:42:43Speaker 19: I'm gonna I guess twenty four dollars.
- 1:42:45Speaker 15: Twenty four dollars. All right, So the subtotal for those
- 1:42:48Speaker 15: those things was already nineteen eighteen.
- 1:42:51Speaker 5: Oh my god, A little fry a little bit.
- 1:42:53Speaker 15: That's thirteen delivery fee of three ninety nine, service fee
- 1:42:57Speaker 15: again different from delivery of three dollars. Then you got
- 1:43:00Speaker 15: taxi buckety seven, express fee two ninety nine, and a
- 1:43:03Speaker 15: three dollars tip shot.
- 1:43:05Speaker 5: Unfortunately, you're about ten dollars off. It's thirty four oh nine.
- 1:43:13Speaker 5: Jeff Bezos, Matthew, thank you? Is it really? It's a placeholder. Yeah,
- 1:43:20Speaker 5: all right, thank you, Matthew. You really own money. So yeah,
- 1:43:24Speaker 5: for our order six items, one little cheeseburger twelve dollars
- 1:43:27Speaker 5: and twenty three cents, three orders of little fries twenty
- 1:43:32Speaker 5: one dollars and ninety three cents, one regular cheeseburger fifteen
- 1:43:36Speaker 5: dollars and fifty nine cents. They get you and then
- 1:43:39Speaker 5: the BLT sandwich shot it. The BLT sandwich was nine
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: dollars and eighty three cents, a subtotal of fifty nine
- 1:43:46Speaker 5: dollars and fifty eight cents. Now, I because I have
- 1:43:49Speaker 5: the dash pass again, I don't pay the two ninety
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: niney delivery fee. They they only for the eight dollars
- 1:43:55Speaker 5: ninety four service fee. They only charged me to ninety
- 1:43:58Speaker 5: eight for that. That's a deals me. It's tacks five
- 1:44:00Speaker 5: dollars and eighty one cents. My tip was nine dollars
- 1:44:04Speaker 5: and the total was seventy seven dollars and thirty seven cents.
- 1:44:09Speaker 5: It's seventy seven.
- 1:44:10Speaker 15: Service at home, Greg, I could afford these things, but
- 1:44:14Speaker 15: out of principle, I'm not doing that.
- 1:44:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I get it. I get it. And you have
- 1:44:18Speaker 5: four able bodied people. You could sit down and look
- 1:44:20Speaker 5: at your budgets.
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: I'm gonna die. Who's gonna cry?
- 1:44:24Speaker 5: But how much does your happiness cost? Yeah, there's the
- 1:44:27Speaker 5: thing I didn't to be Verre. I don't care, like
- 1:44:29Speaker 5: if it's that time and we're gonna order food and whatever.
- 1:44:32Speaker 5: But it is every once in a while when you
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: look at you go Jesus thing, you know, Jesus ef
- 1:44:37Speaker 5: fing C. Jesus effing C. Now Greg feels that way,
- 1:44:40Speaker 5: And I'm going to bring up an example here Greg.
- 1:44:42Speaker 5: Now Greg has a car that he gets for free
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: that includes insurance, which I didn't know from the radio
- 1:44:48Speaker 5: station because Toyota is Toyota's a sponsor, right, so he
- 1:44:52Speaker 5: has that Toyota which is free and he drives it
- 1:44:55Speaker 5: all the time. Right, But just because he got another car,
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: So like you give you get on me for like, yo,
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: we have a cleaning person. I can't believe you have
- 1:45:05Speaker 5: a free car and yet you went out and got
- 1:45:07Speaker 5: a whole new car. I've only the insurance for it.
- 1:45:10Speaker 5: Financially reckless with really big ticket items. But my point
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: I guess here is that everybody's got something that you know, well,
- 1:45:17Speaker 5: you know what, I'm not gonna like see Bassie like
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: he out of principle, wouldn't do that, would say I'm
- 1:45:21Speaker 5: not going to spend money on this, but I want
- 1:45:23Speaker 5: to spend money on whatever. I didn't.
- 1:45:25Speaker 8: No insurance came alright, who you've been paying?
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: Well, I have insurance for the other car. But does
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: Dave Ramsey have any fun? I think Dave Ramsey himself
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: has lots of fun because Dave Ramsey loaded, he's loaded. Yeah.
- 1:45:39Speaker 5: He says you should buy cars with cash. Right, Oh yeah,
- 1:45:42Speaker 5: I've never had a car payment. Really you haven't.
- 1:45:45Speaker 15: No, never, because number one early on, I can't qualify
- 1:45:47Speaker 15: for one, but number two, Yeah, it's just it, it
- 1:45:50Speaker 15: never even like that's just not how you live in
- 1:45:53Speaker 15: my hand.
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: In my hands.
- 1:45:54Speaker 8: Then you're paying for two cars.
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: But I mean you were getting like a two thousand
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: and three thousand dollars whatever beater you save up for
- 1:46:00Speaker 5: a three okay zero I had. I had one of
- 1:46:03Speaker 5: those that crappy eagle premiere that I had.
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: I had.
- 1:46:07Speaker 5: Once by a pickup truck for one hundred dollars.
- 1:46:09Speaker 13: There you go.
- 1:46:10Speaker 5: Wow, Yeah, I had a wood sun room, screw room.
- 1:46:15Speaker 5: All right, we're gonna take a break more what he
- 1:46:17Speaker 5: show his next hang on, be right back. I feel
- 1:46:26Speaker 5: like I just got this in the mail and then
- 1:46:28Speaker 5: I just got another email about it. I feel like
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: we just did open enrollment, you know, like every year
- 1:46:33Speaker 5: with your company you have to like make your your
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: selections for all your healthcare and stuff, and feel like
- 1:46:39Speaker 5: it lasted months. Right, Yeah, that's what I'm saying. What
- 1:46:42Speaker 5: the hell we just did this? What the helly? What
- 1:46:45Speaker 5: the helly on? And in fact that I thought they
- 1:46:47Speaker 5: I thought they sent it by mister Burton. Yeah, we
- 1:46:50Speaker 5: all got it. Yeah the helly Barry. Yeah, but hopefully
- 1:46:54Speaker 5: the cards we get it. Miss we we heard.
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: I didn't have any more to say.
- 1:46:57Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a song, I know, we play you played it?
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: The hell?
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: What the hell? It was like? Yeah? What what were
- 1:47:04Speaker 5: the worst? What were they? Pretty?
- 1:47:06Speaker 3: Mean?
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: Best?
- 1:47:08Speaker 5: Who's oh you say that now, but it really was.
- 1:47:10Speaker 5: In a segment we were talking about the worst hip hop?
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: Stupid forty nine? Yeah, what what was the who is it?
- 1:47:16Speaker 8: Rob forty nine?
- 1:47:18Speaker 15: But yeah, that's one thing you have to explain me
- 1:47:20Speaker 15: is why with healthcare can you only make those choices
- 1:47:23Speaker 15: once a year and for very limited.
- 1:47:25Speaker 5: That and then set stuff and you're screwed.
- 1:47:27Speaker 15: Yeah, I say, well, you know, we have to luck
- 1:47:29Speaker 15: in the contract. Well, how does every other how does
- 1:47:31Speaker 15: car insurance not work that way?
- 1:47:33Speaker 5: Right? Yeah? Any other thing? Yeah? Set and forget it,
- 1:47:36Speaker 5: my friend. And it is w T helly just all
- 1:47:40Speaker 5: the time to where they say, do you want an
- 1:47:43Speaker 5: HMO or a.
- 1:47:44Speaker 8: P P O or know what that means?
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: File that under? I don't know. Yeah, something you also
- 1:47:51Speaker 5: uh might want to get excited about. Sebastian Maniscalco, Greg
- 1:47:56Speaker 5: your favorite comedian of all time for Murph Yeah, is
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: his next comedy special, Sebastian Maniscalco, It Ain't Right? Is

- 1:48:41Speaker 5: Greg loves it. Well in retrospect.
- 1:48:43Speaker 6: I was a fool to think he was funny, especially
- 1:48:45Speaker 6: when he imitates his wife or just people in general.
- 1:48:48Speaker 6: And I think nobody talks like that, you fool.
- 1:48:52Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: The hell? Yeah?
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: What what the hell was?
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: I think? Yeah?
