- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello and welcome in Darlings. It is a recap of
- 0:23Speaker 2: the premiere episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And look at me over here if you can see
- 0:35Speaker 3: in the opening credits of the song I was decorating
- 0:39Speaker 3: for Orange County season. Sure tell us telling out the
- 0:43Speaker 3: Collette champagne bottle for my background. Thank you putting it forward.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It is. Yes, you brought it to the forefront, which
- 0:52Speaker 2: you should. Now for those of you, well, do we
- 0:55Speaker 2: even need to explain what Collette is? I mean, do we.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Go on?
- 1:00Speaker 3: Amy, go on and tell the listeners.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's my champagne that I named after my daughter.
- 1:15Speaker 3: And it was lovely Heather. It's not still in production.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Right, I don't think so. There's no one was really
- 1:27Speaker 2: drinking up that call out, you know what I mean
- 1:29Speaker 2: for that to keep going. I don't think of that, right, No.
- 1:34Speaker 3: And this is the bottle that we had when you
- 1:37Speaker 3: came on the Kiki Show. Oh, I'm just realizing that
- 1:43Speaker 3: when no way, that's when we first met Emily. This
- 1:48Speaker 3: champagne bottle.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Wow, you guys, yes, really, you know, before we get
- 1:53Speaker 2: into the ladies and their relationships. Let's talk about hours
- 1:57Speaker 2: because an organic situation. Yeah, Emily used to have a
- 2:04Speaker 2: podcast called The.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Real Housewives Kiki Show with a friend of the pod
- 2:09Speaker 3: of Drama Darling, Jessica Joy and also Mary Soon.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yes, and I was a guest on the podcast because
- 2:16Speaker 2: I was friends with Mary Soon and I knew Jessica Joy.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Yeah. This is one hundred years ago, by the.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Way, Yes, of course.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Uh yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 2: And so during that episode, you popped open that bottle
- 2:28Speaker 2: of yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Because we would we would like always like sample a
- 2:34Speaker 3: Housewife product when it would come out, we would get
- 2:39Speaker 3: it and we would wow break it down.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And so that just goes to show whenever that came
- 2:45Speaker 2: out is how long ago we met.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, there's no way we could figure it out.
- 2:51Speaker 2: By the We're not going to do it.
- 2:53Speaker 3: We could not do it.
- 2:55Speaker 2: We're not going to google it. What do we nuts?
- 2:57Speaker 2: We got stuff to do here. We had to welcome
- 2:59Speaker 2: ourselves in, well, welcome in. By the way, there was
- 3:03Speaker 2: a welcome in in this episode.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I caught it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Okay, I'll get it. I'll have to go back and
- 3:08Speaker 2: record that because I did not get it. Yeah, was
- 3:11Speaker 2: it at Beach Bunny the bathing suit shop that Ryan
- 3:15Speaker 2: and Jen went to.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Well, now here's the thing, great question, Amy, because you
- 3:20Speaker 3: were so hard to get your business on the show. Again,
- 3:23Speaker 3: I don't know your business because you wasted time saying
- 3:26Speaker 3: welcome in instead of welcome to beach Bunny. I have
- 3:30Speaker 3: no idea where that welcome in was. And I don't
- 3:32Speaker 3: know where they got their bathing suits.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I don't think they got them there. Emily really comes
- 3:40Speaker 2: hard for the welcome ins. But I you know, I
- 3:44Speaker 2: stand by. It's a lovely to have a welcome in.
- 3:46Speaker 2: But she's saying you need to put when you're on
- 3:49Speaker 2: a show, and you're right, you got to put your
- 3:50Speaker 2: business name in it. Welcome in to Beach Bunny. And yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 2: we'll never forget now we got that nice static shot
- 3:57Speaker 2: of it. But say you're say you're in something else.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So anyway, let's welcome ourselves into this Orange County recap
- 4:06Speaker 2: yet again. Welcome tight. Okay, Well, Shannon has a new house.
- 4:13Speaker 2: And you know what, Emily, I know you like the
- 4:15Speaker 2: other one, but I just could not. The other one
- 4:17Speaker 2: was very confusing to my brain. I couldn't with that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: It was just a little too nautically. I couldn't get
- 4:23Speaker 2: a handle on the way that the layout was fell
- 4:26Speaker 2: a little claustrophobic, and then that apartment that she was
- 4:29Speaker 2: in or some condo she was renting.
- 4:32Speaker 3: But now she's yes, it's nice everything. Yeah, everything's coming up, Shannon.
- 4:38Speaker 3: This is her time to shine. This is her time
- 4:40Speaker 3: to Shannon.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's my time to Shannon, it's my time to shine in.
- 4:48Speaker 3: And they filmed this in January of twenty twenty five
- 4:52Speaker 3: is when they started filming it. So I'm like, has
- 4:55Speaker 3: she fully ended things with Earl? Is this post his
- 4:59Speaker 3: trip to the OC where he overstayed as welcome.
- 5:05Speaker 2: He overstayed his welcome in Yeah, I think absolutely. By
- 5:11Speaker 2: the way, Emily, we didn't you didn't recap Miami with
- 5:14Speaker 2: me this week, but I don't know if you'd seen it.
- 5:18Speaker 2: But they were filming at the same time that Love
- 5:21Speaker 2: Hotel was filming, so they had to deal with the
- 5:23Speaker 2: hurricane as well.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Oh, right, of course.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Right, But they were fine in Miami, but you know,
- 5:31Speaker 2: Earl's places weren't. So but everything's okay.
- 5:36Speaker 3: They were all checking on Earl though. That's the weird thing.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Even even Lisa like it was weird. Lisa and Jodi
- 5:43Speaker 2: were like, we have to check on Earle, you know. Anyway,
- 5:50Speaker 2: So Shannon's got this new house. I'm very happy for her.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Seems like her daughter Stella is really living her best
- 5:57Speaker 2: life at these raves.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Everybody's doing great except for David.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It seems, oh my god, the Dealer and Leslie Badour
- 6:09Speaker 2: are really in the thick of it. You know. Isn't
- 6:13Speaker 2: it kind of nice though to see I mean, I
- 6:17Speaker 2: don't mean to wish well any I didn't me know
- 6:20Speaker 2: like that. I meant, isn't it kind of nice to
- 6:22Speaker 2: see Shannon out of a toxic relationship from the men
- 6:26Speaker 2: that she's been with, you know, yes, John Jansen, and
- 6:30Speaker 2: then you know, Earle wasn't the one for her, So
- 6:34Speaker 2: she's out of that. But she had an experience and
- 6:36Speaker 2: it wasn't that bad. It was kind of fun. She
- 6:40Speaker 2: made a connection, she made a connection, and they closed
- 6:43Speaker 2: it off right right, and really it went horribly wrong
- 6:50Speaker 2: at the end there. I mean horribly wrong. Like she
- 6:52Speaker 2: was crying on Love Hotel, like no doubt.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's like fifty to fifty. That is, she
- 6:58Speaker 3: was feeling her inner hood in that moment, and I'm
- 7:01Speaker 3: like in her hood of you know, I yeah, like
- 7:04Speaker 3: she was just not able to land on a lot
- 7:08Speaker 3: of logic, but it was fifty to fifty.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Earl was also what you know, Yeah, yeah, it just
- 7:15Speaker 2: it really blew up towards the end there. But anyway,
- 7:18Speaker 2: I'm glad she's out of that. So it's just nice
- 7:20Speaker 2: to see her with Archie and hopefully we'll get to
- 7:24Speaker 2: see Archie's new puppy brother.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Oh right, looking.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Forward to that. I hope we get to see it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: But I digress. Katie and Shannon are at the BMW dealership. Yes,
- 7:38Speaker 2: and it's for Katie, not Shannon. Shannon's not like I
- 7:44Speaker 2: got to get another car to get pulled.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Over, and.
- 7:48Speaker 2: She didn't like she just got pulled over. We just
- 7:51Speaker 2: did the news the other day. But about her, Yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 2: distracted driving.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Distracted twenty dollars citation which was is due today. Oh
- 8:00Speaker 3: my god, all her twenty dollars fine is due today.
- 8:03Speaker 3: It's a I hope she got my calendar alert.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I hope she did too.
- 8:08Speaker 3: She's running out of time. This is ours are almost over.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Oh boy, oh boy.
- 8:14Speaker 2: She's gonna go down there in person and be like,
- 8:16Speaker 2: I am going to write a check. Who do I
- 8:18Speaker 2: make this out to the Orange County Citation Department twenty
- 8:27Speaker 2: spelled out dollars one zero zero over one hundred line
- 8:34Speaker 2: cursive Shannon storms be door.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I mean, let me du screen grab it and post
- 8:42Speaker 3: it on Instagram like she did the John Jansen.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Good luck.
- 8:47Speaker 3: There's something across have fun, That's what it was.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 8:53Speaker 3: That's so funny that, yeah, I was somebody pay for
- 8:56Speaker 3: John's wedding, and now I'm paying for someone's lunch Panera
- 9:01Speaker 3: twenty dollars.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's hilarious. Do you ever write checks anymore?
- 9:12Speaker 3: You weauzy? Do you ever write to Shannon? All the time?
- 9:14Speaker 3: I write it's but I got a new stationary for
- 9:18Speaker 3: uh a casion. I would say once every two years,
- 9:24Speaker 3: I have to write a check, if that, and it's
- 9:29Speaker 3: always for something that I could have worked a Yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 3: I don't even know if it's that. I don't think
- 9:36Speaker 3: I've written a check in three years, because now I
- 9:39Speaker 3: use the auto check thing through my bank, so you
- 9:42Speaker 3: can send a check electronically, so it's not even like
- 9:45Speaker 3: I'm writing a check yet.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Oh right, like like the bill pay you mean yeah right,
- 9:52Speaker 2: oh bill pay? Yeah, okay, yeah yeah I thought you no.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No, no, they will mail the check. They will mail
- 9:57Speaker 3: a paper check.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You write, Okay, yes, I used to do that for
- 10:02Speaker 2: my old rental. That's right. I used to do that
- 10:05Speaker 2: for the rental. Yeah, because they were like, no, we
- 10:07Speaker 2: have to have a check. I forgot about that option.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That's so interesting.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and I don't think I've done that in three
- 10:12Speaker 3: years even that, like I so.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Know, Yeah, I don't use that anymore. Clearly forgot that
- 10:17Speaker 2: anything existed. But I have written a check at times.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't remember where. But it is wild that I
- 10:25Speaker 2: still every once in a while get a random thing
- 10:27Speaker 2: where they're like, no, we need a check, and I'm like, weird,
- 10:30Speaker 2: like why you know? But I guess it's just sometimes
- 10:33Speaker 2: it is what it is. And it's weird for me
- 10:36Speaker 2: to not write in cursive because that's how I was taught,
- 10:40Speaker 2: you know, you know, eight hundred so back in my day.
- 10:45Speaker 2: You know, you learn cursive and you write your checks incursive.
- 10:48Speaker 2: And it just dawned on me, you know, within the
- 10:51Speaker 2: last twenty years. Like some people print, they print on
- 10:55Speaker 2: their checks, like they just use regular print. They're not cursive.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It up animals, I know.
- 11:03Speaker 3: That's such in a like a weird like highbrow, Like
- 11:08Speaker 3: I don't even know if it's high brow. It's just no,
- 11:10Speaker 3: I don't know what it is you print on your
- 11:12Speaker 3: handwritten checks.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I feel like I was, like, where
- 11:17Speaker 2: was I born in the eighteen hundreds that I can't
- 11:20Speaker 2: wrap my head around it, you know, even still to
- 11:22Speaker 2: this day. So when I do write a check, now,
- 11:25Speaker 2: I don't write in cursive because I'm like everyone else
- 11:29Speaker 2: is just printing.
- 11:29Speaker 3: On my kid.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I guess I gotta be with the cool guns and
- 11:32Speaker 2: write a check the way they do.
- 11:35Speaker 3: The other grandma's.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yeah, the grandma's glamas, thank you. I'm not a glama guys. Okay,
- 11:43Speaker 2: So anyway, we're at the we're at the dealership. But yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 2: so but what Shannon talking about how she settled with
- 11:52Speaker 2: John Jansen for sixty K because she just wanted them
- 11:56Speaker 2: out of her hair. Was a nice button on it,
- 11:59Speaker 2: you know what I mean, it's nice to close the door.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It just sucks she had to pay him that amount
- 12:04Speaker 2: of money. It just sucks.
- 12:07Speaker 3: It sucks. I don't get it. I feel like every yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 3: it's just so unfortunate, but it is what it is. Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 3: And I guess like she all needs to better than
- 12:18Speaker 3: what's that that we all need to move on as
- 12:21Speaker 3: a nation. Yeah, she paid the price for all of us,
- 12:24Speaker 3: and we were all willing to pay a hundred grand
- 12:27Speaker 3: actually to get him out. So this is a good
- 12:30Speaker 3: deal for Shannon and a good deal.
- 12:32Speaker 2: We had a GoFundMe going.
- 12:37Speaker 3: And all the money we raised now can almost cover
- 12:39Speaker 3: her fine of twenty dollars.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Oh almost, and maybe a drink at Stella's Rave maybe.
- 12:51Speaker 2: And then oh, I love how Shannon was like, can
- 12:54Speaker 2: can you put some time air in my tires?
- 12:57Speaker 4: I need airs as long as I'm here because it
- 13:03Speaker 4: is kind of a pain in the asta because you
- 13:04Speaker 4: got to get that like special hydrogen or whatever.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Well yeah, you know that special air.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Sure, but I mean, Shannon, even if even if they
- 13:16Speaker 3: didn't have it there, Shannon would be requesting it there.
- 13:18Speaker 3: She would be She's like requesting. She's kind of like
- 13:23Speaker 3: she just pulls up and starts requesting.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, can you put jewels in my tires? You have
- 13:30Speaker 2: jewels in my teeth?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Okay, what did she say or dead teeth on love hotel?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh that's hilarious, that's right. She said something really dark
- 13:44Speaker 2: holes in my Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. The roots,
- 13:48Speaker 2: and the roots are just dark, dark and uh grotesque
- 13:53Speaker 2: or something along the lines.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah, if you didn't see it, this is Shannon flirting
- 13:57Speaker 3: with a dentist.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I I see a dentist all the time. I have
- 14:01Speaker 2: root canals that have you know, they're not like the
- 14:06Speaker 2: venice canals that are beautiful. No, mine are dark. And
- 14:09Speaker 2: it's like Willy walk on the chocolate factory when you
- 14:11Speaker 2: go when he goes through that thing and the worms
- 14:13Speaker 2: and the caterpillars and the spiders.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Have you ever heard of the upside down and stranger things?
- 14:21Speaker 3: Those are the dead roots hanging down in my dark,
- 14:25Speaker 3: decaying face. Cool? Do you want to make out?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Get alo of this? Oh my god, this whole episode
- 14:38Speaker 2: was so rought and just crawling with bloggers and social
- 14:46Speaker 2: medias and podcasters that I can't even see straight with
- 14:50Speaker 2: what happened here, with the amount of people that have
- 14:53Speaker 2: gotten their hooks. The housewives give social media people so
- 14:58Speaker 2: much power on this show that it's absolutely infuriating. What
- 15:02Speaker 2: are you doing?
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they caught the Salt Lake City virus. Yes, it's it.
- 15:09Speaker 3: And I don't think that I think that they all
- 15:13Speaker 3: all the wives think that they are operating on a
- 15:16Speaker 3: different plane than the rest of the cast, and that
- 15:19Speaker 3: they're the special one that's going to be able to
- 15:21Speaker 3: like manipulate and control the narrative on the outside. And
- 15:25Speaker 3: they're you know, be friends with the quote unquote press
- 15:30Speaker 3: or whatever. And it has backfired every time, every single time.
- 15:36Speaker 2: You'd think for one second that they would have nothing
- 15:40Speaker 2: to do this, but is Katie just doesn't understand because
- 15:43Speaker 2: she's new. Is that what it is?
- 15:46Speaker 4: Oh?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Man? And she's new in the worst way I've seen
- 15:51Speaker 3: because like I think she legit thinks that they're all friends.
- 15:55Speaker 2: That was kind of crazy. It was kind of like
- 15:58Speaker 2: it was kind of like talking to like a like
- 16:00Speaker 2: a four year old that's like this is this is Alfred.
- 16:04Speaker 2: They're like, oh, Alfred, yeah, sitting right here. It's like oh.
- 16:09Speaker 2: And then it's like you're talking to the parents. Oh,
- 16:11Speaker 2: their imaginary friend is so cute. That's so cool that
- 16:13Speaker 2: they have an imaginary friend, you know, and like Katie's like, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 2: the bloggers my friend. It's like girl, yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 3: It's so bad. I guess it makes me Tamra hit
- 16:25Speaker 3: on something with Katie that I was like, that's probably
- 16:29Speaker 3: something there where she said about needing like Tamra's therapy
- 16:34Speaker 3: journey and she saying, well, maybe Katie just really needs
- 16:38Speaker 3: uh like love or something along those lines. But it's
- 16:42Speaker 3: more I read it as like Katie just needs these
- 16:45Speaker 3: constant affirmations or this approval because she did have a
- 16:50Speaker 3: rough time there, and so maybe she just needs like
- 16:54Speaker 3: not so much control as just approval and control and
- 16:59Speaker 3: feeling like that she can handle this situation. There's something
- 17:03Speaker 3: going on there.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think that when a housewife, they
- 17:10Speaker 2: all do it to some degree, get involved with certain
- 17:14Speaker 2: accounts and if they budy up with them, they can
- 17:18Speaker 2: use them to their advantage. So what a lot of
- 17:22Speaker 2: housewives have done in the past is they really throw
- 17:25Speaker 2: their net pretty wide and then they message with these
- 17:29Speaker 2: people and the people are like fanning out because they're
- 17:34Speaker 2: texting or they're messaging with a housewife that's giving them
- 17:37Speaker 2: time and so because of me and Tea, and then
- 17:44Speaker 2: they are excited because then that gives them their allegiance.
- 17:48Speaker 2: They won't write anything bad about them or negative on
- 17:50Speaker 2: their blog or their social media. So the housewife is
- 17:54Speaker 2: using the account holder, and the account holder thinks that
- 18:00Speaker 2: they're special because this housewife is giving them time. When
- 18:04Speaker 2: they're just a pawn in their game. And if they're
- 18:08Speaker 2: they if they're not already upon, they will be down
- 18:11Speaker 2: the line because housewives will play the long game with
- 18:15Speaker 2: these people. And so you just really can't trust the
- 18:22Speaker 2: motivation of a housewife, you know, you just can't period
- 18:25Speaker 2: dot When you are someone on social media, they're using.
- 18:29Speaker 3: You well, and it's just I mean, it's like that
- 18:34Speaker 3: in press and everything else, Like the second a politician
- 18:38Speaker 3: is befriending someone in the press thinking that they're friends,
- 18:42Speaker 3: and it's like no, no, I mean they're going to
- 18:46Speaker 3: they're they're there to expose and you will be exposed,
- 18:50Speaker 3: so right.
- 18:51Speaker 2: But also by the way, yeah go ahead, Oh, I
- 18:54Speaker 2: was just.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Gonna say, it's just like chess. I mean I in that,
- 18:57Speaker 3: I like, there's it's a it's a game.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I just think housewives should get out of the dms
- 19:03Speaker 2: of every single social media person and let them do
- 19:06Speaker 2: their job. Let us do our jobs as podcasters, let
- 19:10Speaker 2: people on social media do their jobs as social media
- 19:13Speaker 2: people or bloggers or what have you, and the housewives
- 19:17Speaker 2: should go about their own business and create drama between
- 19:21Speaker 2: the group that they are with instead of having to
- 19:25Speaker 2: get all these other people involved that are watching the show.
- 19:29Speaker 2: It makes for very complicated storylines one and really annoying
- 19:34Speaker 2: storylines with the exception of Monica and Salt Lake City
- 19:37Speaker 2: because that is legendary.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Know I No, I guess, like I don't feel that
- 19:45Speaker 3: way because I feel like these bloggers are kind of
- 19:48Speaker 3: like the modern day gossip columnists or whatever. So I
- 19:52Speaker 3: guess I'm kind of and where I'm thinking, like they're
- 19:56Speaker 3: always like people leaking stuff to the to the rags. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 3: so I like that it's being exposed. Okay, now I
- 20:05Speaker 3: do feel like what's being exposed like these shitty little accounts,
- 20:10Speaker 3: it's a little different, but like then it like, you know,
- 20:16Speaker 3: you having something like in I don't know, some big
- 20:21Speaker 3: publication or something, some hot gossip, but I I don't know,
- 20:26Speaker 3: I kind of love it. I kind of love that,
- 20:28Speaker 3: like because I not a shitty little account. But I
- 20:31Speaker 3: did see like Bravo Babe posting something the screenshot.
- 20:35Speaker 2: So I was gonna mention that, Yeah, so Bravo Babe
- 20:39Speaker 2: is which is.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Not a shitty account. I'm not gonna say that's not
- 20:42Speaker 3: the account I'm thinking of.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yes, So Bravo Babe, who I know, because she's from
- 20:47Speaker 2: Chicago and she was at our show. Ye so yes,
- 20:52Speaker 2: so she was one of the accounts that has been
- 20:54Speaker 2: referred to, the one that Katie is saying she did
- 20:58Speaker 2: not call, and Bravo Babe posted receipts saying that she
- 21:03Speaker 2: did call her, and she has the screenshot of Katie
- 21:07Speaker 2: calling her on over the dms of Instagram.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, which I totally believe.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Well, of course, I mean so many times Katie has
- 21:22Speaker 2: been caught in a lie, so many times, including the
- 21:26Speaker 2: very end, which will obviously get to where she's like,
- 21:29Speaker 2: I have no signal, I have no signal. Oh well,
- 21:32Speaker 2: I mean she clearly is trying to hide it.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I think she could have not had a signal because
- 21:38Speaker 3: Shannon was also saying she didn't have a signal. But
- 21:41Speaker 3: the other thing that Katie is doing that they are
- 21:44Speaker 3: not clocking yet and hopefully they will. We as the audience,
- 21:47Speaker 3: have the advantage is that Katie is a real stickler
- 21:51Speaker 3: for words. So when she's saying I don't even know
- 21:54Speaker 3: her number, well yeah, because she called her over Instagram. Oh,
- 21:58Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, I don't even know her name. Well,
- 22:01Speaker 3: that's because she goes by the name of Bravo babe.
- 22:03Speaker 3: So you didn't know her name, but I thought you
- 22:05Speaker 3: guys were friends.
- 22:07Speaker 2: It's either. But I so I would like to ask
- 22:10Speaker 2: you because after last season at the reunion, when Emily
- 22:15Speaker 2: brought up all of Katie's custody stuff, which was I
- 22:19Speaker 2: think about my look, Yeah, it was really dirty. It
- 22:22Speaker 2: was not Emily, yes exactly.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 2: So I think with Katie, you know, coming for her
- 22:34Speaker 2: and her kids in this way with the nanny is
- 22:37Speaker 2: what I'm saying. It's just retribution for how she was
- 22:42Speaker 2: treated at the reunion. And I feel like it's definitely
- 22:45Speaker 2: tit for tat and I kind of don't blame Katie
- 22:48Speaker 2: for it, to be honest with you, because Emily came
- 22:51Speaker 2: so hard for her at the reunion. She exposed something
- 22:54Speaker 2: so so big, and it was really not women supporting women.
- 22:58Speaker 2: We were left to our own device of having to think, oh,
- 23:01Speaker 2: is she some sort of bad mother? And we don't
- 23:03Speaker 2: know the backstory, truly don't know what happened, and I
- 23:06Speaker 2: don't know if Katie will ever explain what happened. But
- 23:11Speaker 2: you know, as we took that information in, people can
- 23:14Speaker 2: think what they want, and we tried to give you know,
- 23:16Speaker 2: we give her the benefit of the doubt, you know, who
- 23:18Speaker 2: knows what was going on, but it was not.
- 23:20Speaker 3: She had a women's shelter. I mean, I don't think
- 23:23Speaker 3: it was good and I don't know the sex, but
- 23:25Speaker 3: it doesn't sound great, right, Yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So I just that was a bad look for Emily,
- 23:32Speaker 2: and so I kind of don't blame Katie for going
- 23:36Speaker 2: after her this season, do you?
- 23:39Speaker 3: I don't. I just my my don't. I don't know
- 23:43Speaker 3: if it'll stay the whole season. I just think that, yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 3: I don't. I kind of was like, Emily, why are
- 23:52Speaker 3: you still coming after Katie this hard? If anything, I
- 23:56Speaker 3: was really thinking, did I miss something because she was
- 23:59Speaker 3: coming after Kate's so hard. Meanwhile, like Emily, I thought
- 24:03Speaker 3: we all thought played the dirtiest at the reunion that
- 24:07Speaker 3: we'd seen in a minute from Emily or oc like
- 24:10Speaker 3: it was just like whoa, because she kept coming for her,
- 24:15Speaker 3: coming for her, and it was all I thought motivated
- 24:18Speaker 3: because remember we kept going back and forth about like
- 24:22Speaker 3: surely Emily's kids have heard about the show, it can't
- 24:27Speaker 3: all be Katie's daughter, right, and talking about Heather. And
- 24:31Speaker 3: then also they came for because Katie denied saying this
- 24:35Speaker 3: stuff about Heather and the Pepparazzi being planted or whatever. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 3: Katie really isn't going to do herself favors, and I
- 24:43Speaker 3: get why she's doing it, and they're going to destroy her.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Well there, and they're destroying each other because they're bringing
- 24:50Speaker 2: the kids into it, you know, as messy as Emily
- 24:54Speaker 2: was last season at this reunion bringing that up, you know,
- 24:57Speaker 2: Katie stooped to that level. And it's like, has this
- 25:01Speaker 2: ex nanny I mean, the fact that this ex nanny
- 25:04Speaker 2: came and sought out Katie, which I'm curious about that too.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Did Katie seek her out? You know, I don't know
- 25:11Speaker 2: how that would have happened, but it seems more likely
- 25:14Speaker 2: that the nanny did reach out to Katie and was like,
- 25:17Speaker 2: you're not you know, crazy, Emily's crazy Da da da da.
- 25:20Speaker 2: But like for her to then take that information and
- 25:24Speaker 2: first having her letting her daughter be on a podcast
- 25:26Speaker 2: is weird to begin with, Like that ful to me?
- 25:29Speaker 3: The daughter, I.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Don't know, I mean, I know she's not like fourteen,
- 25:34Speaker 2: so she's probably like what seventeen maybe I don't know
- 25:38Speaker 2: if she's eighteen.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Didn't she say she didn't let her be on there
- 25:42Speaker 3: she what was that vibe? She did a letter on
- 25:47Speaker 3: the podcast.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she let her on the podcast.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 25:49Speaker 2: So I just think it's weird that she had her
- 25:53Speaker 2: do this podcast tell her side of the story. I
- 25:56Speaker 2: just think that's so bizarro. And then furthermore, had this
- 26:00Speaker 2: ex nanny's information sent over to the same podcaster. I mean,
- 26:05Speaker 2: it is about as messy as it gets. You know,
- 26:07Speaker 2: you're bringing your kid into it because and you're bringing
- 26:11Speaker 2: Emily's kids into it. So she heightened it, she really did.
- 26:15Speaker 2: But you know what, Emily never apologized to her. She
- 26:18Speaker 2: never apologized to her for what she did at the reunion.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Had she done that, maybe this wouldn't have happened, because
- 26:24Speaker 2: Katie said, I mean in this episode, I haven't gotten
- 26:28Speaker 2: an apology. Where's my apology for that? You know, she
- 26:31Speaker 2: just went hard and she went dirty and she just
- 26:35Speaker 2: went there. Now Emily is pissed, you know, she's like
- 26:40Speaker 2: Susan decays, go my lawyer, which I don't know. I
- 26:44Speaker 2: don't blame her. She did the right thing, like you know,
- 26:46Speaker 2: this ex nanny, who can you trust? Someone is babysitting
- 26:49Speaker 2: your kids and now they're going out and talking about
- 26:52Speaker 2: you and your kids. That's a dangerous katy. Yeah, Neather,
- 26:59Speaker 2: how dare you bring me into this? So she did
- 27:04Speaker 2: the right thing by getting a season assist. I think
- 27:06Speaker 2: that's in the whole slander thing. I think that's terrible
- 27:08Speaker 2: that she did that.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think everybody's big issue, as maybe
- 27:16Speaker 3: even like the viewers too, is that Katie looks like
- 27:21Speaker 3: a deer in headlights when she's confronted with something, and
- 27:25Speaker 3: it's so confusing. It almost feels like she's gaslighting them.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Like I have no idea what you're talking.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It's like she's playing powsome. Yeah, but really like react still,
- 27:36Speaker 2: she's just like still pretending that. She's like I'm dead,
- 27:39Speaker 2: I'm frozen, I'm dead, I'm not here, I'm not here,
- 27:42Speaker 2: don't see anything. This isn't happening. She's like dissociating from
- 27:45Speaker 2: her body. Yes, it is a wild reaction, so you
- 27:48Speaker 2: automatically think she's lying and she's covering up because she's
- 27:52Speaker 2: not reacting at all.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Yes, it's so confusing, and it might be like she's
- 27:57Speaker 3: on xanax or something. I don't know, but like I'm
- 28:01Speaker 3: la la, la la. But that's the vibe I'm getting.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I don't think that she is, because that is her,
- 28:09Speaker 3: that's her baseline. I've never seen her like not chill.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Right right, right, so, but yeah, she is probably the
- 28:16Speaker 2: most chill one note housewife that we've ever had.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's confusing, and it's got to be confusing against
- 28:27Speaker 3: someone like Emily. And that also could be just from
- 28:36Speaker 3: whatever trauma she went through. That's how she controls herself.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Sure, Yeah, I don't know absolutely. I like her on
- 28:45Speaker 2: the show though, Yeah, I do too. And and Shannon
- 28:49Speaker 2: at this Stealership, you know, when she's getting her air
- 28:52Speaker 2: and her tires filled up, she does say to Katie, like,
- 28:55Speaker 2: you know, we don't have kids to do. We don't
- 28:58Speaker 2: bring the kids into it. You had your on a
- 29:00Speaker 2: podcast that we don't we don't do that here. That's
- 29:02Speaker 2: not what we do in Orange County. We don't do that.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Are you okay with that? So I'm glad that she's
- 29:07Speaker 2: slightly brought it up to her, you know, like, I
- 29:10Speaker 2: do have a bit of a problem with this, but
- 29:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna be by your side and it is me trial.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Katie's like, oh no, one does cut to Next
- 29:20Speaker 3: Generate Next Gen the show where people are putting their kids,
- 29:25Speaker 3: Bravo Kids straight up like, oh yeah, you know what
- 29:29Speaker 3: I mean, Like it's going to happen. So she's just
- 29:32Speaker 3: getting ready for next gen.
- 29:33Speaker 2: That's funny, getting her ready for next gen. Uh yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 2: It's like it was interesting in getting a flashbacksem like
- 29:41Speaker 2: why are Katie and Shannon hanging out so much? And
- 29:44Speaker 2: Shannon just by just squeaked in barely defended her, you
- 29:49Speaker 2: know at the reunion, just a squeak, but enough to
- 29:53Speaker 2: where Katie's like, Okay, we can hang out, Yeah, we
- 29:57Speaker 2: can do scenes together, but you know what, that's biler.
- 30:00Speaker 2: At the end, Shannon gets really mad at Katie again. Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I think that Katie's going to have to answer to
- 30:12Speaker 3: a lot of this at some point. She's got to
- 30:14Speaker 3: because even I, who am like I enjoy her on
- 30:17Speaker 3: the show, I'm like, but she's fucking I don't want
- 30:20Speaker 3: to be friends with her. It was wild that Jen
- 30:25Speaker 3: called her a con artist and also didn't like fully
- 30:28Speaker 3: stand in it either.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Don't remember did I would I say that? That's crazy? Wow,
- 30:33Speaker 2: that's like so harsh that I would say that about you?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Did I say that? I don't know? That's what I
- 30:40Speaker 2: was told? Did I I you tell me. It's like
- 30:45Speaker 2: the weirdest conversation we tuned two robots.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Who are best friends?
- 30:52Speaker 2: Right, con artist? Meanwhile, I'm like, Jen, look to your left,
- 30:57Speaker 2: you're with this guy named Ryan who you know. Well,
- 31:01Speaker 2: I just bookended by con artists. Apparently, I just feel
- 31:04Speaker 2: really comfortable when I'm in between con artists because it
- 31:07Speaker 2: makes me feel pure, like I'm not doing anything wrong
- 31:10Speaker 2: and everyone else is.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Does con artists mean with art that conn a con.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Art I love art and I have some in my
- 31:24Speaker 2: yoga studio, and I just really enjoy supporting art. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 31:32Speaker 2: so okay. I because I haven't really been following Gina.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I mean I followed Gina, and I like a lot
- 31:38Speaker 2: of her like real estate posts and stuff like that.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I did not know. She was like, I got anyhowse
- 31:45Speaker 2: Ean and Tramy's movie, and I was like, what when
- 31:49Speaker 2: did they move back in together? They like reblended their families?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you know. For some reason that wasn't news to me.
- 31:58Speaker 3: But I don't know why. I don't remember.
- 32:02Speaker 2: At some point because you and Gina are best friends,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I mean, you're.
- 32:05Speaker 3: A bloger close so close.
- 32:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry. You and Travis are best friends.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I'm friends with Travis's X. Yeah. No, I uh, I
- 32:18Speaker 3: don't know. Maybe because they were at the reunion talking
- 32:22Speaker 3: about that they are working things out.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Or so there was some news it's suppressed.
- 32:27Speaker 3: I was not surprised. You gotta tamra disgusting. This episode,
- 32:32Speaker 3: by the way.
- 32:33Speaker 2: De disgusting. I know, I loved it. It was like
- 32:35Speaker 2: right out of the gates too, and it was a
- 32:39Speaker 2: hard disgusting. It was right out of those like behind
- 32:42Speaker 2: the gates gates, you know, just boom they opened up
- 32:46Speaker 2: and she's like discuss sang Na. It was amazing.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, anyway, I guess so no, I I guess,
- 32:59Speaker 3: like I wish we had more of an update, not
- 33:02Speaker 3: so much on Gina Andravis, but on Ryan. I really
- 33:06Speaker 3: want an update on that dude.
- 33:08Speaker 2: But whatever, I can't even believe they're still together. It
- 33:12Speaker 2: blows my mind. Blows my mind.
- 33:15Speaker 3: All Right.
- 33:15Speaker 2: So we got a very very compelling scene, very deep
- 33:22Speaker 2: scene with Emily sharing about Luke's eating disorder called ARFID,
- 33:27Speaker 2: which I had heard of. And I actually just want
- 33:31Speaker 2: to mention this because so there's this podcast it is
- 33:38Speaker 2: called at Parenting Survival. At Parenting Survival, I found this
- 33:43Speaker 2: a long time ago. It's this therapist, this woman she
- 33:48Speaker 2: actually she's got kids. She's also a child psychologist, and
- 33:53Speaker 2: her whole podcast is on like kids with OCD and anxiety.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That's how I found out about what ARFID is is
- 34:00Speaker 2: because I, you know, there's just there are so many
- 34:03Speaker 2: things these days, and it's like one of the things
- 34:05Speaker 2: that I've experienced is that like all kids have something,
- 34:08Speaker 2: Like everybody's got something, all kids and adults. But it
- 34:12Speaker 2: is such a fascinating journey to to discover something like
- 34:17Speaker 2: this because when you're when you have a child, you know,
- 34:21Speaker 2: kids are just notoriously picky eaters, right, so why you know,
- 34:26Speaker 2: why would you think anything different, that there would be
- 34:28Speaker 2: something wrong? And so it's just it's such an interesting
- 34:31Speaker 2: journey that now they're going on and they're taking us
- 34:34Speaker 2: along with them. I have mixed feelings about it because
- 34:40Speaker 2: I want him to have privacy so that I you know,
- 34:43Speaker 2: that's tough to watch. You know, it's a child. He
- 34:46Speaker 2: hasn't like consented to this. And on the flip side,
- 34:49Speaker 2: I think that this will really help a lot of parents.
- 34:52Speaker 2: It's it can be relatable in many levels. It can
- 34:55Speaker 2: normalize certain conditions that children have that people don't know about.
- 35:00Speaker 2: It's a tough place to be in. What are your thoughts, Emily.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I hear both sides. I think what I
- 35:09Speaker 3: have to hear all But like I this episode, Emily
- 35:13Speaker 3: is talking about her kids being affected by what people
- 35:18Speaker 3: say at school and everything, and I I'm kind of like, yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 3: I don't know what you do. I mean, Emily is
- 35:27Speaker 3: also the kind of person that lives life very openly
- 35:32Speaker 3: and that's just who she is. So those kids are
- 35:35Speaker 3: a part of that. So it will help people.
- 35:38Speaker 2: But I can tell a sense of potentially his privacy,
- 35:43Speaker 2: which is tough.
- 35:45Speaker 3: What she's acknowledging is why she's pissed at Katie, Like, like,
- 35:50Speaker 3: I guess right, it's a full circle.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that you make a good point, you know, when
- 35:53Speaker 2: you start to draw the lines out, they connect in
- 35:57Speaker 2: an odd way.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, And she's really isolating him. And that's where
- 36:04Speaker 3: I feel kind of bad, because I mean, I had
- 36:07Speaker 3: a sibling, and the more siblings you have, the more
- 36:11Speaker 3: you want to not be the one that gets isolated
- 36:14Speaker 3: in a bad way, I think. And so I just
- 36:18Speaker 3: and I don't know if it's a bad way, that's
- 36:20Speaker 3: a bad way. To say it. I'm just saying when
- 36:22Speaker 3: you go to school, you don't want to be the
- 36:26Speaker 3: one people are talking about in elementary school and middle school,
- 36:31Speaker 3: after that in high school, I guess, but after that,
- 36:34Speaker 3: like anyway, whatever, I might be totally leaning in the
- 36:39Speaker 3: wrong direction on that. Maybe it's great. I have no idea.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I just think Emily's really sensitive to what people are
- 36:45Speaker 3: saying at her kids' school.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So yeah, And I'm also worried that, like as housewives
- 36:52Speaker 2: always do, though they say they don't want to talk
- 36:54Speaker 2: about the kids, they end up weaponizing things that happen
- 36:57Speaker 2: in their children's lives. So it's like, I'm a little
- 36:59Speaker 2: bit worried about that. Yeah, But on on a note
- 37:05Speaker 2: of support and vulnerability of of what this scene was,
- 37:10Speaker 2: you know, I did appreciate Gina really empathizing with her
- 37:14Speaker 2: about what it's like to be a parent in the
- 37:16Speaker 2: situation because of her child had the sensory issues and
- 37:20Speaker 2: she didn't know at first. But it's it's hard to
- 37:23Speaker 2: be a good observer of these types of things unless
- 37:27Speaker 2: you know these things exist. It's hard to see something
- 37:32Speaker 2: when you don't even know that it that something like
- 37:35Speaker 2: that can present itself.
- 37:37Speaker 3: So that was a weird flashback scene that I forgot
- 37:41Speaker 3: by the way with Gina, and like the teacher, I
- 37:48Speaker 3: was like, it confused me a little bit, like was
- 37:51Speaker 3: Sheina having like a parent teacher conference with me?
- 37:54Speaker 2: No, that was a physical therapist. That was that was
- 37:57Speaker 2: a therapist.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Well still, I'm like with the crou I see with
- 38:01Speaker 3: like to film, I just thought, like I again, like
- 38:07Speaker 3: I hear you, they're probably doing way more helpful than
- 38:10Speaker 3: harm in terms of on a broader scale. I don't
- 38:15Speaker 3: know if I would want to do it.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Oh, I wouldn't do it for a second.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but I can see weighing it. I can get
- 38:23Speaker 3: I get it. I don't want to judge them for it,
- 38:26Speaker 3: for choosing to do it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Well, because if there aren't people out there sharing their stories,
- 38:30Speaker 2: then we've got no stories to look at as a
- 38:32Speaker 2: regular human being to hear about stories if you're not
- 38:36Speaker 2: telling the stories. So there's that aspect of it too,
- 38:39Speaker 2: which I totally get. I just you know, and I
- 38:42Speaker 2: think that's why Gina did it. And I think I
- 38:45Speaker 2: feel like that is was her being extremely vulnerable too,
- 38:48Speaker 2: and she was blaming herself, you know, she was saying,
- 38:51Speaker 2: you know, was it me? I didn't notice it and
- 38:53Speaker 2: she's gone this far. Well it's not you know, it's
- 38:56Speaker 2: not far. It's just also she was in the hell
- 38:59Speaker 2: of a urage at that time. That my god. So
- 39:02Speaker 2: but kudos to these all these parents that are being
- 39:06Speaker 2: proactive and getting the help that they need. And I
- 39:09Speaker 2: appreciate it. When Shane was like, well, look, you know,
- 39:11Speaker 2: he knows he likes to cheeze it or whatever, he said,
- 39:13Speaker 2: you know, I mean, we're working on it and we'll
- 39:16Speaker 2: get there. But it is a real thing and it's
- 39:19Speaker 2: good that they are getting to the bottom of it.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Which but anyway, before we go any further, let me

- 42:36Speaker 2: Let's go to therapy with Tamra. Let's go Yeah.
- 42:41Speaker 3: I love that She's like, Hey, Bravo, can we open
- 42:44Speaker 3: up this season with me clearing up my autism diagnosis?
- 42:50Speaker 2: And not just that, but her therapist being like, hello,
- 42:54Speaker 2: I am a doctor Jones, and we have not assessed you.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I will assess you. We have not assessed you yet.
- 43:02Speaker 2: We need to do an assessment. So I did not
- 43:04Speaker 2: say that. I did not say that thank you right
- 43:08Speaker 2: out of the gates.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Oh wow, like that? I mean it was needed, especially
- 43:14Speaker 3: when you consider what Emily's dealing with in terms of
- 43:18Speaker 3: what you know with her son. I was like, I
- 43:20Speaker 3: bet this could have been really awkward if Shannon doubled
- 43:23Speaker 3: down or tamoron doubled down on this, but like, I
- 43:26Speaker 3: think it was good. I'm not one for therapy scenes
- 43:31Speaker 3: on these shows, but I needed that one.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Oh and the therapist needed that Damner needed that, everybody
- 43:37Speaker 2: needed that. When she was crying though, like I actually
- 43:40Speaker 2: thought she was crying about Teddy, But at that point
- 43:43Speaker 2: she didn't. We didn't even know yet. She didn't even
- 43:45Speaker 2: know yet until we got to that retreat, and that's
- 43:48Speaker 2: all she knew. And I was like, oh, because she's
- 43:51Speaker 2: crying about what she's going through and her her issues
- 43:54Speaker 2: and all that stuff. But then it's like.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I think, I think she knew Teddy was not well,
- 44:00Speaker 3: but I don't know if that's why she's I think
- 44:02Speaker 3: there's yeah, but I don't know.
- 44:04Speaker 2: She didn't know because it happened in like a second.
- 44:09Speaker 2: She had headaches and all of a sudden. Yeah, she
- 44:12Speaker 2: may have known she had headaches and was tired, but
- 44:14Speaker 2: she didn't know anything about brain tumors. She just went
- 44:18Speaker 2: to the hospital and it was like boom there they were.
- 44:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right. I mean yeah, I
- 44:26Speaker 3: mean she was a therapist. Now that you're saying it,
- 44:29Speaker 3: I'm sure she was just crying because America hated her.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she's like, I mean it was yeah, she threw
- 44:37Speaker 2: and she threw out all of the the language, the
- 44:41Speaker 2: language that we use, you know, in therapy about and
- 44:44Speaker 2: just that thoughts and censory. No, I don't, I'm not.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I look, it's real stuff, but it's just it's hard.
- 44:53Speaker 3: To oh for camera. We've turned her the tailor and
- 45:01Speaker 3: Clark of the show. And by the way, again, I
- 45:05Speaker 3: want to say I'm sad that Taylor and Clark are
- 45:07Speaker 3: now off Love Island. Anyway, go oh.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, Emily. I'm surprised it took you thirty
- 45:12Speaker 2: minutes to actually mention Love Island. But so congratulations, you're
- 45:17Speaker 2: you're getting there. Yeah. Yeah, So she tells you she's
- 45:24Speaker 2: like as annihilated as annihilator percents on the Speham and
- 45:29Speaker 2: so she was upset, and then we go through the
- 45:31Speaker 2: list of things that you know, she's got anger and
- 45:34Speaker 2: she's got all this trauma and we know, we know
- 45:37Speaker 2: all about it, we know, you know, we know.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Yeah. And by the way, I mentioned Houdah earlier, so
- 45:42Speaker 3: not quite.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Oh that's right, right, you're right, Oh my god, you
- 45:45Speaker 2: did within the first three minutes.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I can you remind me Darlings and or Amy, I,
- 45:56Speaker 3: for the life of me cannot fully land on why
- 46:01Speaker 3: Tamra's upset with Shannon. Was it just because of the
- 46:05Speaker 3: David cancer thing?
- 46:08Speaker 2: What David cancer.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Like that she didn't David reach out or I mean
- 46:13Speaker 3: Simon cancer thing.
- 46:14Speaker 2: No, no, no, it's all last season Tamor was riding
- 46:19Speaker 2: Shannon's ass about the drinking and driving.
- 46:22Speaker 3: I know, but prior to that, there was something that
- 46:26Speaker 3: that Shannon was insensitive to and they alluded to it
- 46:29Speaker 3: on this show, and and that she didn't reach out
- 46:32Speaker 3: when Simon was sick or something like that.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Oh okay, because.
- 46:39Speaker 3: I was I wasn't pest at him that week, but yes,
- 46:44Speaker 3: and then it and then it really became about the
- 46:46Speaker 3: drinking thing. There was a baseline she mentioned and I
- 46:49Speaker 3: was like, wait, what.
- 46:51Speaker 2: She mentioned a baseline at some point? Oh interesting, I'm.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Just thinking about, yeah, Shannon being insensitive or something.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Sure, I mean they're all insensitive, and what are we doing,
- 47:01Speaker 2: like this is the Housewives. Here's your orange, here's your insensitivity.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Let's go, here's your rage. That's so funny. Yeah, I
- 47:14Speaker 2: don't I don't know. I mean, believe me, I don't
- 47:16Speaker 2: want to see anybody crying and in pain over real stuff.
- 47:20Speaker 2: So it's not like I'm laughing at that. I just
- 47:22Speaker 2: like it's kind of funny.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Some censory issues.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, guy, I don't know, man, Okay, but uh oh,
- 47:35Speaker 2: we got Ryan and Jen shopping. We did kind of
- 47:38Speaker 2: mention beach bunny or Bunny Bunny beach, I don't know whatever,
- 47:42Speaker 2: And uh yeah, Ryan says Camera's therapy is bullshit, and
- 47:48Speaker 2: then he goes on to reference her baptism by saying
- 47:53Speaker 2: that should have been enough for a change. And I
- 47:55Speaker 2: gotta say, Ryan, welcome in. Oh my god, a fan base.
- 48:02Speaker 2: You've been watching this show for as long as I
- 48:05Speaker 2: can tell, waiting to get on it, you know what
- 48:08Speaker 2: I mean, Like, this guy's been a fan of Orange County.
- 48:11Speaker 2: He knew about that baptism police.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, no, he's in the mornings. He trains with Slate.
- 48:19Speaker 3: He's going over there. He's like, how do I get in?
- 48:21Speaker 3: And then it's like, I'm coming back, buddy.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Speaking of Gretchen's coming. I know, it's so crazy. We
- 48:28Speaker 2: haven't gotten that yet.
- 48:29Speaker 3: But the fact that Ryan thinks going to therapy equates
- 48:34Speaker 3: to a baptism ceremony is tells.
- 48:37Speaker 2: You that is hilarious. Like I'm like, it wasn't an exorcism,
- 48:42Speaker 2: by the way, that's different. And it also, you know,
- 48:48Speaker 2: I guess I think his point and I can't. I
- 48:51Speaker 2: can't argue with him because it's kind of funny that
- 48:53Speaker 2: he would even bring it up. Is that a lot
- 48:55Speaker 2: of it's very performative, you know. Yeah, mean, here you are,
- 48:59Speaker 2: you're getting dunked in a pool, and then you're just like, yep,
- 49:02Speaker 2: fucking batch. You don't even taut your kads like you know,
- 49:05Speaker 2: I mean, it's just hypocrisy, is just amazing.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So that's why I'm like, buddy, the more you
- 49:14Speaker 3: talk about Tamra and deflect, oh, the more I need
- 49:18Speaker 3: to know why you need to talk about Tamra so much,
- 49:21Speaker 3: Like what's going on?
- 49:23Speaker 2: Yeah, how are we not addressing his monumental errors with
- 49:29Speaker 2: the law and money allegedly allegedly? Thank you?
- 49:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 49:37Speaker 2: So uh Okay, So Heather and Emily and Tamar have
- 49:41Speaker 2: dinner and they're like blogger this blogger at Charles Charles,
- 49:45Speaker 2: Charles rules, bloggers, podcast, podcast, con artist. It's just like
- 49:52Speaker 2: it's so many things all at one time. And this
- 49:56Speaker 2: is when they're just talking about Katie saying that someone
- 49:59Speaker 2: reached out to her. Okay, but then we move on
- 50:02Speaker 2: to Gina, who bombards Katie with Emily's appearance.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yes, the ambush.
- 50:12Speaker 2: The ambush was funny.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Okay, perfect example of Katie zero reaction, like zero, like yeah,
- 50:20Speaker 3: I mean she reacted, but it was not it was no.
- 50:24Speaker 2: It was nothing. She'd be a great poker player, is
- 50:27Speaker 2: what we're saying.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Yeah, she would be the best. Yeah. And she like
- 50:32Speaker 3: had just a very chist well or just chill and
- 50:40Speaker 3: being completely naive.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Hm.
- 50:47Speaker 3: I don't want to say she's completely naive. She knows
- 50:50Speaker 3: what she's doing to a point, and then I think
- 50:55Speaker 3: she totally knows what she's doing. Actually, now that I'm saying.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she completely knows what she's doing. But that's okay,
- 51:00Speaker 2: that's neither here nowhere. I mean it is here, is there?
- 51:04Speaker 2: It's both places it But but Gina's like, yeah, I'm
- 51:09Speaker 2: a surprised Emily's here. She's like, your birch, you can roll,
- 51:14Speaker 2: but your care hid in your pockets. Yes, yes, that
- 51:19Speaker 2: was awesome. Katie's like, okay, well, your ex nanny reached
- 51:24Speaker 2: out to me. I guess I should have ignored it. Sorry,
- 51:28Speaker 2: She's like, go watch you to apologize. I just did.
- 51:33Speaker 3: More. I will say. When Katie is like not reacting,
- 51:40Speaker 3: she's always saying the perfect thing, right, I hear you,
- 51:45Speaker 3: and I'm learning from you and I'm not going to do.
- 51:47Speaker 2: It again to their faces. Then she runs out and
- 51:49Speaker 2: she's like, fucking here, we go plan them and to
- 51:53Speaker 2: do all kinds of shit. But Shannon and Tamra have
- 51:56Speaker 2: not talk since last season and anyway, but we already
- 52:03Speaker 2: kind of talked about that. But let's go to the
- 52:05Speaker 2: Golden Door because and Shannon's Zen retreat, which she has
- 52:11Speaker 2: gone to so many times that if you go there,
- 52:15Speaker 2: what does she say? If you're there for ten to
- 52:18Speaker 2: twenty five times? I'm like, how is that a number
- 52:22Speaker 2: that you can assess? Like why does it stop at
- 52:25Speaker 2: twenty five times that you can hang a little you know,
- 52:28Speaker 2: tile on this chandelier? Like She's like, if you're there
- 52:31Speaker 2: for ten to twenty times, you get to hang this
- 52:34Speaker 2: on the chandelier.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Did that make sense to you the shannondolier. Yes, yes,
- 52:41Speaker 3: no it didn't. But I mean, like a lot whatever
- 52:45Speaker 3: doesn't make any sense.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Well, Shannon had every I just can't believe it cost
- 52:52Speaker 2: twelve thousand dollars for eight days. And she's like, yes,
- 52:54Speaker 2: I've been here so many times. David sent me here,
- 52:57Speaker 2: John sent me here, and I always come back a better.
- 53:03Speaker 3: I mean, for that amount of money, I'd expect just
- 53:06Speaker 3: one change, just one chill vibe, nothing.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Sticks, but she can. She can really drum those drums though,
- 53:17Speaker 2: and that stuck so good on her. Well, this is
- 53:20Speaker 2: where Shannon was going to talk to Tamra, but she
- 53:24Speaker 2: couldn't because we found out about Teddy's brain tumors, and
- 53:27Speaker 2: so now she's gonna, you know, step off, which is nice.
- 53:31Speaker 2: But we eventually have the big conversation and Emily talks
- 53:38Speaker 2: about how Katie should never have done that and she
- 53:41Speaker 2: had to you know, put a cease and assist against
- 53:44Speaker 2: this ex nanny, and it just blows up. What were
- 53:48Speaker 2: your thoughts at the end of this final group scene.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Katie's fucked. I really like Katie. She's fucked, and yours
- 54:04Speaker 3: My my bigger thoughts were going back. I still was
- 54:09Speaker 3: thinking about it this morning. Wow, Jen's daughter doesn't know
- 54:13Speaker 3: who Oprah is. I huh was stunned.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Oh wow, that's crazy. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, anyway, I
- 54:24Speaker 2: didn't register with me.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Jeez, oh it registered, it kept registering. It's got it's
- 54:30Speaker 3: registered in deeply into my brain. I was like, oh
- 54:34Speaker 3: my god, that's nuts.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's almost as nuts as Heather's asbestos and that
- 54:41Speaker 2: tear down. Can you believe that? Like, seriously, I'm.
- 54:46Speaker 3: So mad she tore out that beautiful home that could
- 54:51Speaker 3: have stayed and not the.
- 54:53Speaker 2: People they have done though not I say, it's a
- 54:58Speaker 2: total tear down with all that is beestos.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Well, but if you don't disrupt it, it's okay, right
- 55:04Speaker 3: the asbestos. If it just sits and it's.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Not well, once it's detected, nobody wants to live there.
- 55:11Speaker 3: You know, how did they not detect it? That's the
- 55:15Speaker 3: other question, Like once because.
- 55:17Speaker 2: It's not all they took down walls to do some
- 55:19Speaker 2: construction and that's when they found it.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I know. But like you know, I have a lot
- 55:27Speaker 3: of questions in the state of California, like you could
- 55:31Speaker 3: have known that, I guess because like I know, like
- 55:35Speaker 3: the people next to us, they they were allowed to
- 55:39Speaker 3: like figure out what was going on there because they
- 55:41Speaker 3: were going to do a whole remodel and they could
- 55:44Speaker 3: figure out about that ahead of time.
- 55:46Speaker 2: It might have been one of those properties that's like
- 55:49Speaker 2: no contingencies, like you can't you buy us? Is you know?
- 55:52Speaker 2: Oh that's true, which has been all over California for
- 55:56Speaker 2: many years. That made me see the case now, but
- 55:59Speaker 2: it was for a while. Well, listen, we are gonna
- 56:04Speaker 2: stay at the Golden Door until Shannon just drums her
- 56:07Speaker 2: way to another golden door.
- 56:10Speaker 3: God Amy, I was called the golden.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Oh, golden door. Damn it, damn it was staring at
- 56:23Speaker 2: me right right in the face. You need to do
- 56:26Speaker 2: tai chi, all right, I'm gonna do some tai chie,
- 56:30Speaker 2: you guys. Follow us on Instagram Drama Darling Show. Also

- 56:44Speaker 2: other recaps. Gotta go bye, Emily.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Listen,
