Subs Lie, Dubs Lie Session 65: Vengeance to a Beat – Io Fleming
The crew heads right into the chaos this week with the main pilot of one of Gundam's most gritty side-stories: Io Fleming of Gundam Thunderbolt. Jay, Dee & LJ cover the reckless Jazz savant, his contradictory actions as a terror on the battlefield against Daryl Lorenz and the Living Dead Corps, and raise the question of if Gundam needed a grimdark entry among its fan-favored titles?
