- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello there everybody, it's Shrouded Hand here and I'd like
- 0:03Speaker 1: to do a video like this every now and then
- 0:05Speaker 1: just take a look at some of the strange new
- 0:07Speaker 1: stories that have appeared in the tabloid press recently. So
- 0:11Speaker 1: yeah it's just whatever weird stories have taken my interest recently.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I've saved them away for a video like this and
- 0:17Speaker 1: we're going to take a look at some of the things. So,
- 0:21Speaker 1: starting off with the Metro Tropical Bird turns out to
- 0:24Speaker 1: be a seagull somebody dyed, electric blue. Okay, that's the story.
- 0:30Speaker 1: someone dyed a seagull blue. The bird was found wandering
- 0:33Speaker 1: in a car park in Carlisle by shocked unlookers who
- 0:36Speaker 1: alerted the RSPCA. Well thought offices soon confirmed the bird
- 0:41Speaker 1: was not tropical and was just a regular seagull that
- 0:44Speaker 1: seemed to have been dyed electric blue and it certainly is,
- 0:47Speaker 1: it's very blue. We still don't know what the substance
- 0:50Speaker 1: is but we are concerned that it is affecting him
- 0:53Speaker 1: as he's a little dazed and he's unable to fly
- 0:55Speaker 1: at the moment up or bird. Nice start to the
- 0:58Speaker 1: stories I suppose. A blue bird, who knows, who knows
- 1:02Speaker 1: what that's all about. Alright, so we're under the sun
- 1:06Speaker 1: and we've got some spooky goings on here. Woman shares
- 1:10Speaker 1: terrifying video of seemingly haunted doll moving by itself and
- 1:14Speaker 1: she's vowed never to enter the house again. Oh my god.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh
- 1:22Speaker 1: my god, oh my god, that is creepy. I don't
- 1:26Speaker 1: know what's cute because of that. Oh my god, oh
- 1:29Speaker 1: my god, oh my god. Holy Armstrong shed the creepy
- 1:34Speaker 1: footage on her TikTok account. That is actually kind of
- 1:38Speaker 1: chilling I've got to admit. I don't know if it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: paranormal but I don't know what I think if I
- 1:43Speaker 1: saw that if I looked into a cupboard and saw
- 1:45Speaker 1: a dog clicking its feet together like that I would
- 1:47Speaker 1: probably run out the house as well. Oh my god,
- 1:51Speaker 1: oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, it's
- 1:54Speaker 1: that bit, it's the bit where it lifts its leg
- 1:56Speaker 1: up at the end.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Who knows, you've got to
- 2:18Speaker 1: take TikTok recordings with a big pinch of saltboards. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: got to admit it's creepy, whatever's happening here. Oh my god,
- 2:27Speaker 1: oh my god, It's definitely giving me a little chill.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That would spook me out. Oh my god, oh my god,
- 2:35Speaker 1: oh my god, oh my god, oh my yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 1: that one's creepy. Good work. Thanks for the sun. I'm
- 2:45Speaker 1: usually a bit like, that's nothing, but yeah, that one's
- 2:48Speaker 1: quite good. Thank you, we've got another one from the sun.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Teen shares, terrifying footage about ghostly face pairing routes of
- 2:57Speaker 1: haunted house window, but it's not all that it seems.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I think they lived here in the wild because it
- 3:03Speaker 1: looks pretty deserted, but it's, I think it's here. I
- 3:07Speaker 1: think it's here. I think it's staying. I'm gonna ask
- 3:12Speaker 1: who here could just imagine walking around here. That is
- 3:15Speaker 1: super creepy, although I have read the article so in
- 3:18Speaker 1: a follow up video, where Beckon returned to the house
- 3:21Speaker 1: where she discovered the true nature of the eerie video.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I really hope no one did call a police book
- 3:27Speaker 1: because you can see it's a mannequin head. It's still creepy,
- 3:31Speaker 1: like I say, it doesn't have to be paranormal to
- 3:34Speaker 1: be creepy. It could be completely innocent, but it still
- 3:38Speaker 1: gives you the chills. So far, the sun is delivering
- 3:42Speaker 1: on its spooky promises. Here's the third one, and I
- 3:46Speaker 1: don't know what to make of this one, because it's
- 3:48Speaker 1: just a still photograph. Ghostly figure of woman spotted on
- 3:52Speaker 1: a building site, CCTV. So apparently they've got cameras set
- 3:58Speaker 1: up on their building sites, and whenever it's text motion,
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's like a trail camera suppose, it takes a photograph,
- 4:04Speaker 1: so there's no video, it's just a still image. And
- 4:08Speaker 1: what they caught on the camera was this mysterious eerie figure,
- 4:11Speaker 1: which looks like such a sort of stereotypical ghost image.
- 4:15Speaker 1: The only thing I'm thinking of is at a last
- 4:17Speaker 1: just walking home from a night out. She's been out,
- 4:21Speaker 1: she's got a dress on, she's had a nice night out,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and she's walking home, she's got a kebab in her
- 4:27Speaker 1: hands there, and she just decided to take a shot,
- 4:30Speaker 1: cut over over a building site. That could be possible,
- 4:34Speaker 1: but it's an eerie image. So apparently, the security guard
- 4:38Speaker 1: who was on the scene, they went out straight away,
- 4:41Speaker 1: it was within minutes. but there was no sign of
- 4:43Speaker 1: anybody there or of anybody ever being there, it was
- 4:46Speaker 1: really bizarre. It's kind of strange just because it's a
- 4:50Speaker 1: building site, and why is she doing there? Possibly an
- 4:54Speaker 1: innocent explanation, but still creepy creepy. Some of these stories,
- 4:59Speaker 1: the headlines are more exciting than the actual when you
- 5:02Speaker 1: read into it. So machete wielding a North Carolina man
- 5:06Speaker 1: leaves bloody satanic messages on Serality House, police say. This
- 5:11Speaker 1: isn't Fox News, by the way. A man wielding a
- 5:15Speaker 1: machete left satanic messages written in blood on a serality house. Apparently,
- 5:21Speaker 1: this man was wandering around in a very sort of
- 5:23Speaker 1: distressed state. He appeared to have cut himself and was
- 5:27Speaker 1: using his own blood to smear messages on vehicles and
- 5:30Speaker 1: onto the serality house. I don't know what he wrote,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it doesn't say exactly what, but apparently they were satanic
- 5:37Speaker 1: in nature. So it is creepy. but I don't know
- 5:41Speaker 1: if anyone was in danger. It appears to be a
- 5:44Speaker 1: homeless man who was, I guess, maybe was drugged up
- 5:48Speaker 1: where he's got mental health problems and he was just
- 5:50Speaker 1: wandering around door being satanic messages in his own blood.
- 5:54Speaker 1: So I'm just scrubbing through this case to see if
- 5:56Speaker 1: there was any footage of the actual messages he wrote.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It doesn't seem to be. It shows a picture of
- 6:03Speaker 1: a building, nice white building, that'd be a good little
- 6:06Speaker 1: canvas for some satanic messages written in blood. but unfortunately
- 6:10Speaker 1: we don't get to see what he's actually written, which
- 6:13Speaker 1: I would be interested in. Who knows? I mean, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: might not even be satanic when you get down to it,
- 6:20Speaker 1: but it's kind of interesting, I suppose. I wonder what
- 6:24Speaker 1: he was writing. Okay, we'll go on to the next story,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and this is another one from Fox News, but a
- 6:31Speaker 1: herd of charging cows in England killed second man in
- 6:33Speaker 1: a month. Yeah, there's been two just random cow attacks
- 6:37Speaker 1: in England recently. and they're all sort of in the
- 6:40Speaker 1: same area, Furball Castle, and get that upon a map.
- 6:44Speaker 1: This attack happened over here. And then there was another
- 6:48Speaker 1: attack just a couple of weeks before this one, this teacher,
- 6:51Speaker 1: deputy head teacher actually, of a school in Richmond was
- 6:55Speaker 1: that walking, and he was killed by cows as well.
- 6:58Speaker 1: This is such a strange thing because Richmond in North York,
- 7:02Speaker 1: shall I have a look at where that is? First
- 7:04Speaker 1: cow attack happened here, and it's all around the North Pennines.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Did everyone happen sort of down this end of it?
- 7:12Speaker 1: I mean, I live over this way. I'm getting a
- 7:15Speaker 1: bit scared. What the cow's up to, they're rising up.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Another thing is this may have happened in a space
- 7:22Speaker 1: of two weeks, so yeah, two cow deaths. But did
- 7:26Speaker 1: you know there was another one earlier on in the
- 7:29Speaker 1: year 31st of May? A man 82 dies after being
- 7:33Speaker 1: attacked by cows whilst walking with his wife. How horrible.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I mean, all these attacks are horrible. Now this one
- 7:42Speaker 1: happened in Ives Carr, North Yorkshire. Oh, we've created a
- 7:46Speaker 1: Bermuda Triangle of mad cows here. Are we going to
- 7:50Speaker 1: see a pattern? I don't know. Is it strange? Cow
- 7:56Speaker 1: is officially the most deadly large animals in Britain. This
- 8:00Speaker 1: is from like back in 2015. So obviously cows must
- 8:05Speaker 1: kill a number of people in year. What's going on
- 8:08Speaker 1: in this area? What I'm going to call the Mad
- 8:11Speaker 1: Cow Bermuda Triangle of Britain. Cows are rising up. You
- 8:16Speaker 1: heard it here first. Unwinter stories. We're going to look
- 8:21Speaker 1: at this another ghost video. I mean ghost recordings. They're
- 8:26Speaker 1: 10 at penny these days. I don't know if people
- 8:30Speaker 1: are just bored because they're all locked in their houses
- 8:32Speaker 1: and they're all over analyzing their recordings that they've captured
- 8:35Speaker 1: and seeing ghosts. But this one's kind of interesting. I
- 8:40Speaker 1: did have a look at it before. Who more or
- 8:43Speaker 1: more was left terrified when she rewatched her secured camera
- 8:46Speaker 1: to find a ghost peeking around the barn outside the
- 8:49Speaker 1: house at night. So let's take a look at this.
- 8:53Speaker 1: The figure is just here. As you can see it
- 8:56Speaker 1: only appears right at the beginning of the recording. To
- 9:00Speaker 1: me it just looks like it could be a figure.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I mean they're off in the distance. The camera quality
- 9:06Speaker 1: is very very low and also they're just sort of
- 9:09Speaker 1: going in and out to the lights by the looks
- 9:11Speaker 1: of it. So it's picking them up and then they're
- 9:14Speaker 1: disappearing into the darkness. It just looks like a person
- 9:18Speaker 1: wandering around. It could be an intruder. It's still kind
- 9:22Speaker 1: of creepy in that way. But why does everyone automatically
- 9:26Speaker 1: assume it's a ghost? Could be literally anything in the world.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Daily Star We've got quite a number of ones from
- 9:35Speaker 1: a daily star here actually because they always never fail
- 9:38Speaker 1: to deliver on the most important stories. This is another
- 9:42Speaker 1: one where the headlines are a lot more interested in
- 9:44Speaker 1: the actual story. Real life inception. A scientist figure out
- 9:50Speaker 1: how to plant ideas in dreams. Now what would you think,
- 9:54Speaker 1: Reed and I? Oh my god, they've invented some kind
- 9:58Speaker 1: of machine that can affect your dreams. In testing a
- 10:01Speaker 1: new technique called targeted dream incubation TDI, which allows them
- 10:05Speaker 1: to insert certain topics into someone's brain. It's a puzzle
- 10:10Speaker 1: to show that when a sleeper enters a rare dream
- 10:12Speaker 1: state known as lucid dreaming, they gain awareness that they're dreaming.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So this is how it actually works. The study involved
- 10:20Speaker 1: 25 participants taking daytime naps. Before going to bed they
- 10:25Speaker 1: will record audio prompts in the app such as remember
- 10:28Speaker 1: to think of a tree and remember to observe your thoughts.
- 10:32Speaker 1: They were hand-mounted sleep trackers and when it detected they
- 10:35Speaker 1: were in the hypnagogic states, the tracker would then coordinate
- 10:38Speaker 1: with the app to wake the participants up with their
- 10:40Speaker 1: own pre-recorded vocal prompts. This repeated several times and the
- 10:45Speaker 1: sleeper would record it in a journal. Simply put, People
- 10:49Speaker 1: would tell us whether the prompts appeared in their dreams
- 10:51Speaker 1: and they found that 67% of participants mentioned dreaming about
- 10:55Speaker 1: trees following the prompt. This to me doesn't sound like
- 10:59Speaker 1: anything new whatsoever. I've sort of been interested in lucid
- 11:03Speaker 1: dreaming for 15, 20 years, something like that. There was
- 11:08Speaker 1: two techniques that I remember quite well from lucid dreaming
- 11:11Speaker 1: forums and websites. There was a method called wake back
- 11:15Speaker 1: to bed which sounds exactly like what they're doing here
- 11:17Speaker 1: that kind of waking people up when they reach that
- 11:20Speaker 1: hypnagogic state. I mean to me this just sounds like
- 11:23Speaker 1: the wake back to bed technique and also using dream
- 11:26Speaker 1: signs or reality check type of images. So I don't
- 11:30Speaker 1: know why they're going on as if this is some
- 11:32Speaker 1: new thing. Story is more interesting from its headline than
- 11:36Speaker 1: the actual facts of this thing. Daily Star, delivering the goods. Okay.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Here we go. Another ghostly one. I'm going to pause
- 11:47Speaker 1: a video or it'll start paying the next one. Security
- 11:51Speaker 1: worker terrified after hearing strange grunts at haunted car auction.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The worker said he had a wave of goosebumps whilst
- 11:58Speaker 1: recording the spooky sound from inside the bathroom. It's kind
- 12:02Speaker 1: of spooky I guess. I did notice as I was
- 12:06Speaker 1: watching it there was a few dips in the audio
- 12:08Speaker 1: like you can hear it. So what I notice is
- 12:11Speaker 1: if you listen don't listen so much to the breathing sound.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Listen to the sound of like the home in the
- 12:16Speaker 1: background which sounds like a air conditioning unit or something
- 12:20Speaker 1: like that. Just a steady hum sound and you'll notice
- 12:23Speaker 1: that that breaks about two points as if the audio
- 12:26Speaker 1: has been altered. See like you heard it did you
- 12:29Speaker 1: hear it there? See I look like. So the audio
- 12:33Speaker 1: has been altered but I don't know whether that's the
- 12:35Speaker 1: original video. I hear it again there I see. See
- 12:40Speaker 1: how the audio clips out. And I don't know whether
- 12:43Speaker 1: that's proof of anything because who knows maybe it's just
- 12:46Speaker 1: the audio of the camera cutting out now and then.
- 12:50Speaker 1: As for the actual grunting sounds kind of creepy I've
- 12:52Speaker 1: got to admit who knows what that is. That is
- 12:56Speaker 1: a creepy noise. It really reminds me of the film
- 12:59Speaker 1: Suspirely if you've seen that the original. Listen. You're like Whistle.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It's exactly the same. She's there right behind that sheet.
- 13:11Speaker 1: As I went to use the bathroom this spirit was
- 13:13Speaker 1: talking or making grunts. To me it sounds like they're
- 13:17Speaker 1: saying help me. Didn't sound like that to me but
- 13:20Speaker 1: okay on to the next story. Yeah this one this
- 13:24Speaker 1: one's weird. Brain wrapped in aluminum foil or aluminum foil
- 13:28Speaker 1: if you're American wash it up on Wisconsin beach. So
- 13:32Speaker 1: apparently a guy called James Sender was walking on the
- 13:35Speaker 1: beach and he found brain wrapped in foil and with
- 13:38Speaker 1: it was pink flowers and foreign money. Some suspect the
- 13:41Speaker 1: package may be part of a ritual for the dead
- 13:44Speaker 1: but no one can explain the brain. They don't know
- 13:47Speaker 1: whether the brain was human or what. Why it's wrapped
- 13:51Speaker 1: up with money you can see the money there and
- 13:53Speaker 1: under flower that is such a weird thing. I might
- 13:56Speaker 1: be opening up a package you find on the beach
- 13:59Speaker 1: and there's a brain inside it. I heard about this
- 14:02Speaker 1: a week or two ago and I was hoping there'd
- 14:04Speaker 1: be some kind of follow up but I can't find
- 14:06Speaker 1: any more info so it's creepy and weird but I
- 14:08Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. Anyway I hope you enjoyed
- 14:12Speaker 1: this look at the weird news. I like to collect
- 14:15Speaker 1: these stories and then put them together in a little
- 14:17Speaker 1: chilled out video. In the last couple of weeks there's
- 14:21Speaker 1: been some personal stuff going on in my life so
- 14:23Speaker 1: I found it hard to get recordings out on time
- 14:25Speaker 1: so every now and then I like to do one
- 14:27Speaker 1: of these sort of chilled out just look at some
- 14:29Speaker 1: funny news stories and I am working on the next
- 14:32Speaker 1: proper video so that'll be coming out soon. I'm taking
- 14:35Speaker 1: October as a kind of chill out month. Let me
- 14:39Speaker 1: know what you think of these stories. Some of them
- 14:42Speaker 1: are a bit stupid I know but I do like
- 14:44Speaker 1: to look at what the tabloid to print in and
- 14:46Speaker 1: I don't think there's any other news really going on.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I just take a quick look out my window. No
- 14:53Speaker 1: it all looks pretty normal to me. Yeah so anyway
- 14:57Speaker 1: that's the most important news of last couple of weeks.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I hope you were entertained by them. Hello everybody. In
- 15:05Speaker 1: the originals I looked at convicted murderers who had made
- 15:08Speaker 1: TV appearances. The footage gives us a fascinating look at
- 15:12Speaker 1: a person who is hiding the fact that they've committed
- 15:14Speaker 1: terrible crimes or are going to commit terrible crimes in
- 15:17Speaker 1: the future. It's chilling how calm and likable they appear
- 15:21Speaker 1: to be most of the time. Often these people are
- 15:24Speaker 1: psychopathic killers and it gives us a chance to see
- 15:27Speaker 1: their predatory charm in action. So here's more real life
- 15:31Speaker 1: murderers on TV shows as suggested by you guys. I
- 15:35Speaker 1: used a named Indian guy suggested the BTK killer Dennis Rader.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I never actually knew that BTK appeared on TV before
- 15:44Speaker 1: he was caught but apparently made a brief appearance on
- 15:46Speaker 1: a local TV station in 2001. Rader worked as a
- 15:50Speaker 1: compliance officer at the time and he appeared on the
- 15:53Speaker 1: Kansas local news station KSN talking about a spate of
- 15:56Speaker 1: animal attacks in the area. This was filmed four years
- 16:00Speaker 1: before his arrest and by this time he had murdered
- 16:02Speaker 1: 10 people. He nicknamed himself BTK by and torture kill
- 16:07Speaker 1: because of his love of tying up and slowly torturing
- 16:10Speaker 1: his victims before murdering them. He started killing in 1974
- 16:15Speaker 1: sending taunting messages to the police with drawings of the murders.
- 16:19Speaker 1: By the time this was filmed in 2001 he probably
- 16:22Speaker 1: thought he was never going to be caught and must
- 16:24Speaker 1: have saw his TV appearances another way of secretly taunting
- 16:27Speaker 1: the police. The dogs are somewhat territorial as well as
- 16:31Speaker 1: vicious appearing in plain sights wearing a uniform and a
- 16:34Speaker 1: badge knowing what kinds of acts he had got away with.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Unfortunately I can't find a full clip of the footage.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This clip comes from a documentary about BTK and most
- 16:45Speaker 1: of the audio comes from the documentary rather than the
- 16:47Speaker 1: KSN report itself. Ludlox Bathory suggested Caleb McGilvery, better known
- 16:53Speaker 1: as Kai the hatchet-wielding hitchhiker. Kai led a transient lifestyle
- 16:58Speaker 1: hitchhiking around California with no fix the boat. He shot
- 17:02Speaker 1: the fame in 2013 when he was interviewed about an
- 17:06Speaker 1: incident where it saved the woman from being strangled. This
- 17:09Speaker 1: stuff right here I was driving and I was in
- 17:11Speaker 1: the passenger side of this car coming driving down this way.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I'm a model okay do you want to talk about
- 17:18Speaker 1: the other stuff that you do or yeah definitely is
- 17:20Speaker 1: that okay with you okay right totally fine basically I
- 17:23Speaker 1: do a lot of adult modeling and I do adult
- 17:25Speaker 1: film as well and I'm pretty comfortable in front of
- 17:27Speaker 1: the camera so doing it for a while and but
- 17:29Speaker 1: this is still on or so yeah yeah so I
- 17:31Speaker 1: just keep going but don't worry about it like don't
- 17:34Speaker 1: even think about these guys yeah okay my name is
- 17:36Speaker 1: Luca and I'm a bisexual and I like to sleep
- 17:39Speaker 1: with both men and women. obviously and i feel comfortable
- 17:43Speaker 1: completely with both um and it's like 50 50 for
- 17:46Speaker 1: me okay it's actually it's a bit more it's like
- 17:48Speaker 1: 60 man and 40 great thanks for sharing that look
- 17:51Speaker 1: up great look up these are really good comments yep
- 17:54Speaker 1: well i tend to have a lot of male partners
- 17:56Speaker 1: and a lot of people assume that you know i'm
- 17:58Speaker 1: i'm gay because i have a lot of male partners
- 18:00Speaker 1: and when i tell them you know i see what
- 18:02Speaker 1: comes across to me is luca's utter lack of personality
- 18:05Speaker 1: he's like a mannequin That can talk he was obsessed
- 18:09Speaker 1: with making himself famous and probably due to his wooden
- 18:11Speaker 1: personality he had to invent various sentational stories about himself
- 18:15Speaker 1: and spread them online in 2007 he spread a rumor
- 18:18Speaker 1: that he was in a relationship with convicted murderer Carla
- 18:21Speaker 1: Hamalka and I actually landed in a TV interview with
- 18:24Speaker 1: The Sun and it's all because of this whole rumor
- 18:26Speaker 1: of you dating Carla Hamalka that's. This is the thing
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's the rumors destroyed my life basically and um I've
- 18:32Speaker 1: been receiving death. Threats my address is posted that's what
- 18:36Speaker 1: I had to move uh I want my palm reading
- 18:39Speaker 1: back it was taken out of my SUV I'm about
- 18:41Speaker 1: to have a nervous breakdown and my repetitions completely ruined
- 18:44Speaker 1: um I just want everybody to set I want to
- 18:46Speaker 1: set the record straight that uh we have absolutely no
- 18:49Speaker 1: connection after this small taste of fame he resorted to
- 18:52Speaker 1: increasingly extreme methods of getting attention this escalated to him
- 18:55Speaker 1: posting recordings of himself suffocating kittens to death these recordings
- 18:59Speaker 1: garnered Him the kind of notoriety that he'd craved all
- 19:03Speaker 1: along and it would lead to him filming the murder
- 19:05Speaker 1: of Lin Jun the TV appearances aren't all that interesting
- 19:08Speaker 1: but it lets see the kind of charmer's narcissist that
- 19:11Speaker 1: Magnata really was a person who craved fame didn't have
- 19:13Speaker 1: the talent to get it naturally and would murder a
- 19:16Speaker 1: man to achieve it Johnny B. Tort suggested Mitchell quiet
- 19:20Speaker 1: Mitchell quiet strangled his wife to death in December 1998
- 19:24Speaker 1: after discovering that she wanted a divorce he then cut
- 19:26Speaker 1: her body into pieces and buried them in different places
- 19:29Speaker 1: around a Southport area in England for 18 months following
- 19:32Speaker 1: the murder Mitchell made many TV and radio appearances appealing
- 19:36Speaker 1: for information concerning his missing wife and denying allegations that
- 19:40Speaker 1: he'd murder her you know you've got this finger suspicion
- 19:43Speaker 1: pointing at you you've got this big question mark over
- 19:46Speaker 1: your head and I mean I know you feature on
- 19:48Speaker 1: local television or even interview there um and obviously the
- 19:52Speaker 1: question has to be put and I know what you're
- 19:54Speaker 1: on to it's going to be but I mean did
- 19:55Speaker 1: you kill her no no I just I just wish
- 19:57Speaker 1: I just wish someone had listened to him he became
- 20:00Speaker 1: known as the smiling killer because of the sinister way
- 20:02Speaker 1: he would slightly grin when asked if he'd killed her
- 20:05Speaker 1: it's thought that he became obsessed with. Media attention relishing
- 20:08Speaker 1: in his own brazenness his desire for publicity became so
- 20:13Speaker 1: great that he invited a documentary crew into his home
- 20:15Speaker 1: to film his life with his two children and I
- 20:18Speaker 1: saw it I was like sort of she's gorgeous and
- 20:20Speaker 1: I fell in love and from that night on we
- 20:21Speaker 1: were never apart we were upset this is where the
- 20:24Speaker 1: most telling footage comes from he plays the part of
- 20:26Speaker 1: a man whose wife walked out on him leaving him
- 20:28Speaker 1: to raise two children alone whilst the world outside wrongly
- 20:31Speaker 1: accuses him of murder me having to do this leave
- 20:34Speaker 1: me with the kids I'll Be pissed on if she
- 20:37Speaker 1: was on fire and just say again and it's not
- 20:40Speaker 1: a stupid question it's a very serious question did you
- 20:42Speaker 1: kill Lindsay I didn't find out I didn't find out
- 20:45Speaker 1: all the time that cold dead smile on his face
- 20:47Speaker 1: never changes and the thing he says just seemed really
- 20:50Speaker 1: callous now that we know what really happened we mean
- 20:52Speaker 1: I know the clutch in its drawers now like but
- 20:54Speaker 1: what do we think has shagged a death of something
- 20:56Speaker 1: to all right I'm not psychopath I don't know what
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm like but what does a psychopath look like you
- 21:03Speaker 1: know so think you gotta wash yourself eventually the police
- 21:06Speaker 1: gathered enough circumstantial evidence to charge mitchell for murder after
- 21:09Speaker 1: two days of questioning he finally admits to killing her
- 21:12Speaker 1: and he agrees to show police where he hid the
- 21:14Speaker 1: body parts he receives a police escort around southport to
- 21:17Speaker 1: show them where he dumped the dismembered remains of his
- 21:20Speaker 1: wife's body and even then he's eager to make sure
- 21:22Speaker 1: the tv cameras are filming him i recall quite vividly
- 21:26Speaker 1: it was a murky Depressing rainy day he was quite
- 21:29Speaker 1: upbeat looking for the cameras and was almost celebrating the
- 21:32Speaker 1: fact that this is where they are that's where that
- 21:34Speaker 1: is and that's where the other body is Johnny Tort
- 21:36Speaker 1: also suggested Ian Huntley as did Indian Guy and Dark
- 21:39Speaker 1: Root Doll on the 4th of August. 2002 Ian Huntley
- 21:43Speaker 1: invited two school girls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman into
- 21:46Speaker 1: his home and murdered them drowning one girl in his
- 21:49Speaker 1: bath and suffocating the other he was a caretaker at
- 21:51Speaker 1: their school a familiar face to. The girls which was
- 21:55Speaker 1: why he was able to convince them to come inside
- 21:57Speaker 1: his house when the girls were reported missing currently was
- 22:00Speaker 1: one of the first people who volunteered to help search
- 22:02Speaker 1: for them he also appeared in numerous TV interviews Ian
- 22:05Speaker 1: Huntley here is a familiar figure evening in your other
- 22:07Speaker 1: school caretaker the girls Jessica and Holly would know you
- 22:11Speaker 1: and they saw you on the front doorstep what what
- 22:13Speaker 1: went on the girl but I don't know the girls
- 22:15Speaker 1: and I was still on the front doorstep gluing my
- 22:18Speaker 1: dog down she'd run away and come back a bit
- 22:21Speaker 1: of a mess and they just came across and asked
- 22:23Speaker 1: how miss car was as she used to teach them
- 22:25Speaker 1: at saint andrews and i just said she went very
- 22:27Speaker 1: good she hadn't got the job and they're just as
- 22:29Speaker 1: pleased to tell her that we're very sorry and off
- 22:32Speaker 1: the warts in the direction of the library over there
- 22:34Speaker 1: he seemed eager to mention the fact that he was
- 22:36Speaker 1: washing his dog in this clip something about how he
- 22:38Speaker 1: inserts this pack into the conversation even though it has
- 22:42Speaker 1: nothing To do as a story it just feels off
- 22:45Speaker 1: to me one of the things that incriminated Huntley and
- 22:47Speaker 1: the murders was the fact. that he had thoroughly washed
- 22:51Speaker 1: his car shortly after the girls had gone missing ripping
- 22:54Speaker 1: out the lining of the boots and replacing it with
- 22:56Speaker 1: carpet perhaps he included this detail about his dog so
- 22:59Speaker 1: that it would give him a reason why he'd cleaned
- 23:01Speaker 1: his car so thoroughly if he was questioned by the
- 23:03Speaker 1: police even more disturbing is the interview given by maxine
- 23:07Speaker 1: car car was huntley's girlfriend and she knew about the
- 23:09Speaker 1: murder she'd covered for huntley by giving a false alibi
- 23:13Speaker 1: to the police and this is Something I polykeyed for
- 23:16Speaker 1: the rest of my life I think and it's what
- 23:18Speaker 1: Holly gave me on the last day of term she
- 23:20Speaker 1: was very very upset because I didn't get my job
- 23:23Speaker 1: and that's kind of girl she was she was just
- 23:25Speaker 1: lovely really lovely that's really very sweet isn't it yeah
- 23:28Speaker 1: last day we're editing the recording to producers of the
- 23:30Speaker 1: show notice that Maxine was referring to the girls in
- 23:33Speaker 1: the past tense despite their deaths not being reported yet
- 23:36Speaker 1: this would be reported to police and would be used
- 23:38Speaker 1: in evidence. Against her once again there isn't much footage
- 23:42Speaker 1: of Huntley's TV appearances online he did do quite a
- 23:45Speaker 1: few interviews before being accused of the murders so once
- 23:48Speaker 1: again if any more footage comes to light I'll put
- 23:51Speaker 1: it in the description Nick Elvis channel suggested Peter Madsen
- 23:54Speaker 1: Madsen was a famous Danish inventor and engineer the subject
- 23:57Speaker 1: of numerous documentaries and interviews he had established his own
- 24:00Speaker 1: company called RML Space Labs whose goal was to construct
- 24:04Speaker 1: and launch a manned spacecraft he'd also built three submarines
- 24:09Speaker 1: his most recent sub uc3 nautilus was scheduled to be
- 24:12Speaker 1: part of an exhibition at the born home island in
- 24:14Speaker 1: august 2017 a journalist named kim wall was writing a
- 24:18Speaker 1: story about the nautilus and she was offered a private
- 24:20Speaker 1: trip with madsen aboard the submarine the day before the
- 24:23Speaker 1: exhibition Kim Wall and Peter Madsen set off together in
- 24:28Speaker 1: the Nautilus at 7pm on August 10th at 11am the
- 24:31Speaker 1: following morning an SOS call was made the Nautilus had
- 24:34Speaker 1: sank and Peter Madsen was rescued he managed to escape
- 24:37Speaker 1: from the sinking sub but Kim was nowhere to be
- 24:39Speaker 1: seen Madsen was immediately taken into custody he claimed that
- 24:43Speaker 1: he dropped Kim off on shore before the sinking but
- 24:45Speaker 1: nobody had seen her since police suspected that he deliberately
- 24:49Speaker 1: sank the vessel to hide some sort of foul play
- 24:51Speaker 1: this footage shows. Him immediately after the rescue being taken
- 24:56Speaker 1: in for questioning I'll get it at it. No, I'm
- 24:59Speaker 1: still clapped. Arum. And see a mouse was going out
- 25:04Speaker 1: of the plane. Yeah, we still know. I'm not going
- 25:08Speaker 1: to go in there. Air, I'm just going to take
- 25:11Speaker 1: a picture of where I live and get a little
- 25:13Speaker 1: bit of a report and then I'll go out and
- 25:15Speaker 1: try to install this tank. Ten days later a female
- 25:19Speaker 1: torso washes up on shore. The chest had been punctured
- 25:23Speaker 1: multiple times to allow gases to escape and prevent it
- 25:26Speaker 1: from floating to the surface. There were knife wounds to
- 25:29Speaker 1: the genitals that a post-mortem examination concluded had been inflicted
- 25:33Speaker 1: shortly before death. DNA testing proved that the torso belonged
- 25:38Speaker 1: to Kim War. Divers were sent out to search the
- 25:41Speaker 1: sea bed and they recovered bags containing Kim's head and legs.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Madsen had brutally murdered Kim War whilst the board had
- 25:49Speaker 1: not lost. tying her up before beating and stabbing her,
- 25:53Speaker 1: finally killing her by slitting her throat and then cutting
- 25:56Speaker 1: up her body. What we see here is a man
- 25:59Speaker 1: who committed these acts just hours before and has no remorse.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Psychiatric evaluation identified Madsen as a narcissistic psychopath and he
- 26:08Speaker 1: was sentenced to life imprisonment. It comes across as really
- 26:12Speaker 1: pleasant in all of his TV appearances. But one or
- 26:16Speaker 1: two things he says now seem slightly sinister in retrospect.
- 26:21Speaker 1: It's all components that add up to become the launch
- 26:23Speaker 1: vehicle and one has to understand that the only way
- 26:26Speaker 1: to develop anything like this is to cut it up
- 26:28Speaker 1: into bits and pieces, a steam generator that turned into
- 26:31Speaker 1: a lamp. He lost the leg in the landing. But
- 26:35Speaker 1: other than that actually Randy was intact afterwards and the
- 26:38Speaker 1: leg has been bolted back on. Honeybee86 suggested someone who
- 26:43Speaker 1: was on a VH1 dating reality show who murdered his girlfriend.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Cowboy Worm was able to provide more details. The man's
- 26:52Speaker 1: name was Ryan Jenkins and he appeared on a show
- 26:55Speaker 1: called Megan Wants a Millionaire. I think I remember considering
- 26:59Speaker 1: this case for the original video but then not being
- 27:01Speaker 1: able to find any clips from the actual show. There
- 27:05Speaker 1: is some footage from Megan Wants a Millionaire but not
- 27:07Speaker 1: much with Ryan Jenkins and most of them are just
- 27:10Speaker 1: really bad quality so I probably didn't include it for
- 27:12Speaker 1: that reason. Megan Wants a Millionaire was one of them
- 27:16Speaker 1: shows where a bunch of guys all move into a
- 27:18Speaker 1: house and they try to win over some woman. It's
- 27:22Speaker 1: kind of a similar format to The Bachelor I think.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't watch these kind of shows.
- 27:29Speaker 1: On 2009 season one of the contestants was a real
- 27:32Speaker 1: estate investor called Ryan Jenkins. The show was recorded in
- 27:37Speaker 1: February 2009 but it wasn't broadcast until August that year.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Jenkins had come third in the show and in the
- 27:44Speaker 1: meantime he'd married a model named Jasmine Fier. On 15th
- 27:48Speaker 1: of August, 2009 a female body was found stuffed into
- 27:52Speaker 1: a suitcase and in the alleyway at Buena Park, California.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Her teeth had been torn out and the fingers removed
- 27:59Speaker 1: to prevent identification. Police were only able to identify the
- 28:03Speaker 1: body by looking at the serial numbers on a breast implants.
- 28:07Speaker 1: The corpse was Jasmine Fear. Ryan Jenkins was the only
- 28:11Speaker 1: suspect in the murder but he'd killed himself before he
- 28:14Speaker 1: could be prosecuted. This all happened right in the middle
- 28:18Speaker 1: of Megan Wants a Millionaire being broadcast. The show was
- 28:22Speaker 1: cancelled mid-season out of respect for Jasmine's family. As I
- 28:26Speaker 1: said before there aren't many clips from the show. Any
- 28:30Speaker 1: with Ryan Jenkins in come from news reports of the
- 28:32Speaker 1: murder so the audio is missing because news reporters were
- 28:35Speaker 1: talking over the top. It would be interesting to see
- 28:39Speaker 1: some of these episodes so we could see how Jenkins
- 28:41Speaker 1: comes across but I think these shows are half-stripped in
- 28:44Speaker 1: any way so I don't know they would be much
- 28:46Speaker 1: to read into the footage. Still it's an interesting story
- 28:50Speaker 1: and scary to think that a contestant on a dating
- 28:52Speaker 1: show could go on to murder his partner. Pew Unrecorlack,
- 28:57Speaker 1: no I'm not pronouncing that right by the way, they
- 28:59Speaker 1: suggested Victor Calvador, known as the Forest Killer. Victor Calvador
- 29:04Speaker 1: was a contestant on a Czech version of Who Wants
- 29:06Speaker 1: to Be a Millionaire in 2004. One year later he
- 29:10Speaker 1: walked into a forest and shot dead an older couple
- 29:13Speaker 1: who were out walking their dog. Three days later in
- 29:17Speaker 1: the same forest he shot another man did. There's no
- 29:20Speaker 1: known motive for the killings. It seemed Victor chose him
- 29:24Speaker 1: at random. He'd wanted to carry out a mass shooting
- 29:28Speaker 1: on the Prague metro. Several times beginning in 2003 he'd
- 29:32Speaker 1: gone to the metro with a Glock pistol hidden under
- 29:35Speaker 1: a newspaper with the intention of shooting dead as many
- 29:37Speaker 1: people as he could. Each time he went see family
- 29:41Speaker 1: didn't have the nerve to carry out the shooting. He
- 29:44Speaker 1: was also known to be extremely suicidal and probably these
- 29:47Speaker 1: shootings would have been his attempt to go out in
- 29:49Speaker 1: a blaze of terror. Finding it too difficult to shoot people,
- 29:54Speaker 1: he didn't start to practice on farm animals. Shooting cows
- 29:58Speaker 1: point blank in the head so that he would get
- 30:00Speaker 1: used to the act of killing. From these practice runs
- 30:03Speaker 1: it seems he then moved on to the forest shootings.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I believe that he still intended to carry out the
- 30:09Speaker 1: metro shootings and these murders would carry out to prepare
- 30:12Speaker 1: himself for the act. It's right in between the failed
- 30:16Speaker 1: metro shootings and the forest murders that he appeared on Millionaire.
- 30:20Speaker 1: It seems odd that a man so hell bent on
- 30:22Speaker 1: committing atrocities would want to go on TV and win money.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Perhaps the TV appearance was purely to let his face
- 30:29Speaker 1: be broadcast and the attempt to increase his notoriety so
- 30:32Speaker 1: that he would be known when he did eventually commit
- 30:34Speaker 1: the crimes. During the show he comes across as very
- 30:38Speaker 1: blank and introverted. He barely smiles even when winning huge
- 30:43Speaker 1: amounts of money. He does laugh a couple of times
- 30:46Speaker 1: but compared to the other contestants he just seems a
- 30:49Speaker 1: bit emotionally stunted. I don't speak Czech so I can't
- 30:53Speaker 1: tell you what he's actually saying but his body language
- 30:55Speaker 1: is quite interesting. He seems more depressed than anything else.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Then again his introverted man could just be stage fright.
- 31:05Speaker 1: All in all apart from his lack of emotional reaction
- 31:07Speaker 1: he seems fairly intelligent and friendly. He's the very picture
- 31:12Speaker 1: of the kind of unassuming person who turns out to
- 31:14Speaker 1: be a cold-blooded killer. Kiki Jensen suggests somebody who was
- 31:18Speaker 1: on wife swap and then went on to murder his
- 31:21Speaker 1: mother and siblings. The guy's name was Jacob Stockdale and
- 31:25Speaker 1: he appeared with his family in a 2008 episode of
- 31:27Speaker 1: Wife Swap. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what Wife Swap
- 31:31Speaker 1: is but just in case someone hasn't seen it Wife
- 31:34Speaker 1: Swap is a show where two very different families swap
- 31:37Speaker 1: wives for two weeks. A lot of the time these
- 31:40Speaker 1: reality shows exaggerate or even fictionalize elements so I'm not
- 31:44Speaker 1: sure exactly how accurate the portrayal of the Stockdale family
- 31:47Speaker 1: was but in the show they come across as an
- 31:49Speaker 1: extremely strict, devoutly religious family that kept their children on
- 31:53Speaker 1: a very tight leash. Nine years after this recording he
- 31:56Speaker 1: would take a shotgun and murder his mother, Catherine and
- 31:59Speaker 1: his younger brother James. This mugshot was taken a year
- 32:03Speaker 1: after the slaying. His face looks a bit distorted because
- 32:07Speaker 1: he also turned the gun on himself but somehow survived
- 32:10Speaker 1: the shotgun blast to the face. He had to have
- 32:14Speaker 1: extensive facial reconstruction and brain surgery before he could face trial.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Jacob doesn't really feature much in the show himself. I've
- 32:23Speaker 1: never been on date. There's better ways to find out
- 32:27Speaker 1: about girls than dating. He is there in most of
- 32:30Speaker 1: the family scenes but mostly in the background. His older
- 32:34Speaker 1: brothers and father seem to do most of the talking.
- 32:38Speaker 1: One thing I noticed though is he was 15 when
- 32:40Speaker 1: his episode was made but he looks a lot younger.
- 32:44Speaker 1: This could be a strong indicator that his sheltered upbringing
- 32:46Speaker 1: wasn't just dramatized for the show. The boy's life seems
- 32:50Speaker 1: to mostly consist of doing farm work and household chores
- 32:53Speaker 1: in return for tokens which they can cash in for
- 32:56Speaker 1: certain privileges like listening to the radio. They aren't allowed
- 33:00Speaker 1: girlfriends and they spend their weekends performing in a family
- 33:03Speaker 1: blood rest group. Ironically the father talks a lot about
- 33:07Speaker 1: how they moved from the city for the country life
- 33:09Speaker 1: to get away from guns and violence. We used to
- 33:12Speaker 1: live in a city there was shooting down a killer
- 33:15Speaker 1: that were out here in the family we adjusted to.
- 33:18Speaker 1: The day we moved we heard gunshots in our neighborhood
- 33:20Speaker 1: and I knew it made the right decisions. The mother
- 33:24Speaker 1: comes across as completely unwilling to change. By the end
- 33:28Speaker 1: of the show she seems to have learned nothing from
- 33:30Speaker 1: a time with the other family and goes right back
- 33:32Speaker 1: to putting the kids under the exact same strict routine.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Whether or not he had any particular animosity towards his
- 33:39Speaker 1: mother and younger brother is unknown. The other family members
- 33:43Speaker 1: weren't home at the time so maybe he would have
- 33:45Speaker 1: killed them too. He pleaded not guilty by way of
- 33:49Speaker 1: insanity and he seems to have escaped the death penalty
- 33:52Speaker 1: because of it. It is creepy to watch this episode
- 33:55Speaker 1: now when you know the tragic events that followed it.
- 33:59Speaker 1: It's easy to see how a regime like this could
- 34:01Speaker 1: mess with the kid's head. It serves as a warning
- 34:04Speaker 1: to overly strict parents everywhere. I've set up a subscribed
- 34:09Speaker 1: star page. I'm not really sure how I feel about
- 34:12Speaker 1: this kind of crowdfunding. But recently almost all my recordings
- 34:17Speaker 1: are getting demonetized. I'm trying to turn the internet into
- 34:20Speaker 1: a full-time career so I can make recordings more frequently.
- 34:25Speaker 1: So my options are even to crowdfund or to do
- 34:27Speaker 1: those really annoying sponsored ads that I can't stand in recordings.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'd really appreciate it. I'll try it out for a
- 34:35Speaker 1: while and see how it goes. If people want to
- 34:38Speaker 1: support my content then that'll be great. If not then
- 34:42Speaker 1: no hard feelings. I kind of understand how people feel
- 34:46Speaker 1: about crowdfunding even if I can't make it into a
- 34:49Speaker 1: career I'm not going to suddenly stop making recordings again.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I'm not going to suddenly go away. Anyway that's enough
- 34:57Speaker 1: of you begging. If you want more content like this
- 35:00Speaker 1: case check out the first two I did in the series.
- 35:03Speaker 1: There'll be a link in the end card. Thanks again
- 35:07Speaker 1: for watching.
