- 0:00Speaker 1: Late.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to the Late Debates. Good evening, everybody, and welcome
- 0:09Speaker 2: to the not so late Debate. I'm Liz Storer and
- 0:12Speaker 2: joining me tonight is Joe Hildebrand and Gabriella Power Love.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Oh are you coming up tonight? We've got a packed show.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You're thinking it'd be quiet around this time of year,
- 0:24Speaker 2: but not so. D Justin Trudeau, Canada's PM is due
- 0:29Speaker 2: to resign any minute after two ministers quit today. In Germany,
- 0:35Speaker 2: Chancellor Olaf has lost his parliament's confidence and they're going to.
- 0:40Speaker 3: A snap election nine months before they were supposed to.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And AI experts are warning us somebody's got to pull
- 0:48Speaker 2: the plug before this thing gets too much more smarter
- 0:52Speaker 2: than your average human being. But first, tonight, would it
- 0:55Speaker 2: be Christmas time if we didn't have some trumped up
- 0:59Speaker 2: council always in the state of Victoria, it seems, telling
- 1:03Speaker 2: us we can't use the word Christmas this year.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It is none other than Darrabin Counsel who have decided
- 1:11Speaker 3: to leave all mention of.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Christmas out of Christmas celebrations.
- 1:16Speaker 3: They've done this very deliberately.
- 1:18Speaker 2: There's their chosen campaign, Darrabin celebrates. You'll notice in each
- 1:25Speaker 2: and every one of those little pictures absolutely nothing that
- 1:29Speaker 2: relates to christ Absolutely nothing that relates to Christmas.
- 1:33Speaker 3: In the least.
- 1:34Speaker 2: This, of course, is done, if you can believe the
- 1:37Speaker 2: council spokeswoman.
- 1:39Speaker 3: In order to avoid offending anyone.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but I've yet to meet
- 1:43Speaker 2: anyone living here in Australia who actually is offended by Christmas.
- 1:48Speaker 3: But here's the Darrabin Mayor's quote.
- 1:51Speaker 2: She says that the Council embraces and honors the many
- 1:55Speaker 2: ways residents come together at this time of year. We're
- 1:59Speaker 2: so fortunate to be part of a community that reflects
- 2:02Speaker 2: so many different traditions and backgrounds. We celebrate all the
- 2:06Speaker 2: richness and joy they bring.
- 2:09Speaker 3: It's so strange, isn't it.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Whenever it's about Dewali, whenever it's about ad, whenever it's
- 2:16Speaker 2: about a different culture's special day, Gabby, they're never this ambiguous.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But when it comes to a Christian holidays celebrated by
- 2:25Speaker 2: plenty of secular people, they're very concerned about other cultures
- 2:30Speaker 2: here in Australia and offending them to the point that
- 2:33Speaker 2: we can't even say Merry Christmas.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Of course, this is coming from Victorian Council.
- 2:38Speaker 5: You know, it's just ridiculous.
- 2:39Speaker 4: There is nothing offensive about the words Merry Christmas, and
- 2:42Speaker 4: Darvin Council has seemed to have forgotten that Christmas is
- 2:46Speaker 4: a religious holiday. Christianity is a main religion right here
- 2:49Speaker 4: in Australia.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Christ Much Yeah, exactly.
- 2:53Speaker 4: We're celebrating, memorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It's such
- 2:56Speaker 4: a special occasion for so many people. People will be
- 2:59Speaker 4: going to church day, families are celebrating. But they're not
- 3:02Speaker 4: only getting rid of Merry Christmas because that's apparently offensive.
- 3:05Speaker 4: They're going another step further and they're reducing the size.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Of the Christmas tree.
- 3:10Speaker 4: So the Christmas tree was meant to be six meters
- 3:13Speaker 4: in height, they're now reducing it to three meters to
- 3:16Speaker 4: save on plastic, as if they're somehow saving the planet
- 3:20Speaker 4: they do planets. Just ridiculous. You know, I sound like
- 3:24Speaker 4: Kamala Haaras saying this, But it's a joyful occasion and
- 3:27Speaker 4: seeing Mary Christmas it actually brings a lot of joy.
- 3:29Speaker 1: That's right. They are not bringing the joy.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Unlike Kamela Harris, Darrabin Counsel is not bringing the.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Joy there, right joy ye Darrabin.
- 3:37Speaker 6: This just makes me go absolutely crazy. I don't know
- 3:40Speaker 6: why counsels keep doing it. I don't know if you
- 3:42Speaker 6: know this, but every single news corp tabloid has an entire,
- 3:46Speaker 6: round the clock all year, three hundred and sixty five
- 3:49Speaker 6: days crack squad of reporters just waiting for someone to
- 3:52Speaker 6: cancel Christmas. I mean, always get one, like every single time.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Sick of it, you know, Jactus, We've had enough of it.
- 3:59Speaker 4: We see it every year. We've seen it for too long.
- 4:01Speaker 4: And you know, as I've seen in the election over
- 4:02Speaker 4: in the US, people are rejecting all this kind of
- 4:05Speaker 4: work bs.
- 4:06Speaker 5: You know, it's going to have time.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Then it's a time to celebrate Christmas and say Merry Christmas.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Absolutely, and it's a great thing that news court papers
- 4:15Speaker 2: do make a big deal out of this a because
- 4:17Speaker 2: it is genuinely a big deal.
- 4:19Speaker 3: We know that this has a lot more to do with.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Cracking down on Western civilization, eradicating it from Western countries
- 4:27Speaker 2: that whether they call themselves now anymore, we're always historically
- 4:33Speaker 2: Christian countries.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And we saw this last year. Joe with the Stonington.
- 4:38Speaker 2: With their fake Mary campaign absolutely slammed for it and
- 4:43Speaker 2: then put a statement out earlier this year saying we
- 4:46Speaker 2: take it back.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Sorry Christmas everybody is what I don't care now. So
- 4:51Speaker 6: Melbourne obviously is the capital of the People's Republic of Victoria,
- 4:54Speaker 6: so it's the sort of thing. Yet this is the
- 4:56Speaker 6: walkers city and the worker his time around it is.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Previously so previously.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Yarra Council which is always dominated by the Greens, did
- 5:03Speaker 6: it Startington Council which is sort of rich Greens like
- 5:07Speaker 6: teals kind of thing, and and Darravin which takes in Northcote,
- 5:11Speaker 6: which almost elected a socialist candidate to the Upper House.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I believe high selection. But it is just it is
- 5:19Speaker 1: very very annoying.
- 5:20Speaker 6: As for the Christmas tree, and this is another thing
- 5:22Speaker 6: as well. You want to save plastic, get a real
- 5:25Speaker 6: Christmas tree, get a real Christmas tree, pie, a real
- 5:29Speaker 6: Christmas or whatever it is, wood, pine needles, that stuff.
- 5:31Speaker 1: We've got one.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Chop it down, that's right, exactly, You've got the proper one.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Stick it up, that's right and make it. You know,
- 5:40Speaker 6: it can be as big as a big as a
- 5:42Speaker 6: get rid.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Of there's work bs in sanity. Can you imagine going
- 5:46Speaker 2: to a Middle Eastern culture being in a Middle Eastern
- 5:50Speaker 2: country and being like the celebrating age.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I'm so offended. I mean, who in their right minds
- 5:56Speaker 3: would do that.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's only the Western countries that are expected to bend
- 6:00Speaker 2: over every year, and we're like, oh, we're so sorry
- 6:03Speaker 2: about our holidays, but Chinese.
- 6:05Speaker 3: New Year is going to be a big deal. Just
- 6:07Speaker 3: give it a few feeks.
- 6:08Speaker 6: It's utterly If somebody anywhere in the Middle East said,
- 6:13Speaker 6: you know, it said, say, you know, happy Ramadan, and
- 6:15Speaker 6: I've been there during Ramadad. It's awesome, he said, to
- 6:17Speaker 6: say happy Ramadan, it just says, you know, happy family,
- 6:21Speaker 6: get together, happy special moment.
- 6:24Speaker 4: It doesn't even make sense. Derebin Counsel going with.
- 6:27Speaker 5: The celebrates, what are they celebrating?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Makes nowhere there reason Emmanuel Christ with us.
- 6:36Speaker 6: I say it's fine, but you don't get the public holidays. Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 6: he's not going to say Christmas, Darbin Counsel.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And we all know that.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Hope they're aoun The workers, we should all give them
- 6:45Speaker 3: a call.
- 6:45Speaker 6: I love a bit of flexi time. They love to
- 6:47Speaker 6: work on the public. They're not sticklers about over time.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I love casual work, night shifts. They're all over penalty rights.
- 6:53Speaker 1: They don't care. They do it for the love.
- 6:55Speaker 6: So I'll tell you what if it's not going to
- 6:57Speaker 6: be Christmas, no Christmas Day, it's not called holiday day,
- 7:01Speaker 6: and it's not called Seasons Greetings.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Day, indeed no Boxing day.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Which no one knows where that comes from, by the way,
- 7:07Speaker 6: although they think it's.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'm sure Kel Richards could tell you.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm sure Kel Richards could tell it, but no one
- 7:12Speaker 1: still knows. No one still knows where it comes from.
- 7:14Speaker 6: But I think it's from when people the sort of
- 7:17Speaker 6: lord of the manner would box up everything that they
- 7:20Speaker 6: got for Christmas and everything left over from the face
- 7:22Speaker 6: and then give it to the poor.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Isn't that a nice? Nice?
- 7:26Speaker 2: And now holiday, you're kind of giving to the poor,
- 7:30Speaker 2: just at a cheaper ray. Changing topic, now, you must
- 7:34Speaker 2: be living under a rock if you haven't heard of
- 7:37Speaker 2: this extraordinary case of Bronco star Ezra Mom. This guy
- 7:42Speaker 2: was found last October to have driven his ute into
- 7:46Speaker 2: an uber injuring a woman and a four year old girl.
- 7:50Speaker 2: He was found to have a cocktail of drugs in
- 7:52Speaker 2: his system and to.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Be driving while disqualified. So what's his sentence?
- 7:58Speaker 2: It was handed down yesterday eight hundred and fifty bucks.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen. That is absolute pocket change for.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Something that could have cost Goodness knows how many people
- 8:09Speaker 2: their lives. Eight hundred and fifty bucks and his license
- 8:12Speaker 2: suspended for six months.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Mabe, this guy must be laughing, Joe.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I just do not understand this.
- 8:19Speaker 6: And I I got to call this morning from the
- 8:21Speaker 6: tail and the editor was just incensed about this. And
- 8:24Speaker 6: I've got to say I'd read, I'd read about it
- 8:28Speaker 6: the night before, and I've gone to bed and then
- 8:30Speaker 6: got it and it just is staggering, like the idea
- 8:34Speaker 6: that you could And you saw the footage there of
- 8:36Speaker 6: these two cars, like they wipe out each other's end drops, right,
- 8:39Speaker 6: so it was gone. Someone could very easily have been killed.
- 8:42Speaker 6: He was driving not just with cocaine and other drugs
- 8:46Speaker 6: that magistrate didn't specify in his system, but he was
- 8:51Speaker 6: already disqualified because he'd racked up so many demerit points,
- 8:54Speaker 6: so he's already banned from driving. He then goes and
- 8:57Speaker 6: drives when it's illegal for him to do so, not
- 9:00Speaker 6: only that, but also seemingly under the influence or with
- 9:03Speaker 6: drugs in his system. Then he goes and nearly wipes
- 9:07Speaker 6: out or does wipe out this uber.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Injures a four year old girl and her mum inside.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It lucky to be alive.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And the fine.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Doesn't even crack a grand It doesn't even crack four figures.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Can you imagine, can you?
- 9:22Speaker 1: And he's going to be he.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Can be on the road by July next year, but
- 9:26Speaker 6: suspension for that incident. I cannot imagine any normal person
- 9:31Speaker 6: walking out of a courtroom. No corrective order, no community service,
- 9:36Speaker 6: no actual substantive fine that would be any kind of disincentive. No,
- 9:39Speaker 6: not three years off the road. You are clearly someone
- 9:42Speaker 6: who cannot be trusted like six.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, it.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Just makes no sense for the fact that a mother
- 9:49Speaker 4: and a child was caught up in this, that the
- 9:52Speaker 4: consequences could have been devastating and so many of us,
- 9:55Speaker 4: you know, no people that have been seriously injured in
- 9:58Speaker 4: a car accident, and there's no he used to get
- 10:00Speaker 4: behind the wheel with drinking drugs in your system, no
- 10:03Speaker 4: matter who you are, an NRL player, and what kind
- 10:05Speaker 4: of message does it send, you know, if he's meant
- 10:07Speaker 4: to be someone that kids look up to, It's just
- 10:11Speaker 4: I don't know what the right punishment is. But a
- 10:13Speaker 4: six month suspended an eight.
- 10:16Speaker 2: No one with a single firing neuron would say, oh, yes,
- 10:19Speaker 2: the punishment fits the crime. Here's the man himself giving
- 10:23Speaker 2: what I would say is the most disingenuous apology.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I'm going to be a change man. Going on from now.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Today is a very important step my actions and starting
- 10:35Speaker 7: to make things right. And to the people involved in
- 10:38Speaker 7: the accident, I'm truly sorry. And to the NRL, the
- 10:41Speaker 7: Brisbane Broncos, the fans and my family, I'm sorry.
- 10:46Speaker 2: How about the woman and the child that almost lost
- 10:49Speaker 2: their life? Are you sorry to them as well? I
- 10:52Speaker 2: you know, by the way, you really know someone means
- 10:54Speaker 2: an apology when they have to read it word forgether.
- 10:57Speaker 4: But he's reading from the scripta sorry.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I mean, it's just so like, oh, this is the
- 11:05Speaker 2: thing that you do now, so this is the thing
- 11:07Speaker 2: that I'm doing.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 11:08Speaker 6: And again it just just smacks of something that seemed
- 11:12Speaker 6: to them to be a bit of a pr scandal
- 11:15Speaker 6: rather than anything substanding. But again, I just cannot, for
- 11:18Speaker 6: the life of me imagine I have this thing I
- 11:20Speaker 6: called the Plumber test where you say, all right, imagine
- 11:23Speaker 6: if it was just you know, it wasn't an NRL
- 11:25Speaker 6: star who's just been signed to the Broncos for I
- 11:27Speaker 6: think four million bucks over five years. Imagine if it
- 11:30Speaker 6: was just Joe Blogs. Imagine if it was just a
- 11:33Speaker 6: plumber fitter. And turnout that's how.
- 11:35Speaker 3: The library supposed to be treated.
- 11:37Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 11:38Speaker 6: And you know, and instead of coach say it was
- 11:40Speaker 6: a different drug or whatever, So I didn't have that
- 11:42Speaker 6: kind of you know, it wasn't the party drug of
- 11:44Speaker 6: the celebrities in the A list. Like, I find it
- 11:47Speaker 6: impossible to believe that someone would just walk out of
- 11:50Speaker 6: a courtroom after an incident like that and not even
- 11:52Speaker 6: have to part, you know, change from a thousand bucks fine.
- 11:56Speaker 6: I mean this, you wouldn't even notice that behind the
- 11:58Speaker 6: couch the.
- 11:59Speaker 3: NRL like suspended him from playing.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I think that.
- 12:03Speaker 6: I think someone in the newsroom is joking that you
- 12:05Speaker 6: get more for a high tackle. But no, and the NL,
- 12:10Speaker 6: I think, and the Broncos are saying they stand behind him.
- 12:12Speaker 6: But again it's that's that's almost immaterial. I mean, it
- 12:16Speaker 6: shouldn't be treated as a football problem crime committed. It
- 12:20Speaker 6: was committed in the community, and he should be treated
- 12:23Speaker 6: not like a football player, but like anybody else, And
- 12:25Speaker 6: I just cannot, for the life of me see how
- 12:28Speaker 6: anyone else could cause that level of damage and have
- 12:32Speaker 6: their license suspended for six months.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, in that case, the build, the higher pament
- 12:37Speaker 2: should be as if those two people had lost their lives, because,
- 12:40Speaker 2: let's face it, it's only by a stroke of luck
- 12:43Speaker 2: that that did not happen.
- 12:45Speaker 3: You saw the pitches. He's in the ute.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Which of course fared much better than the what looked like,
- 12:52Speaker 2: I don't know, your average Toyota Corolla type make of
- 12:55Speaker 2: car that was crushed to smither.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Reens moving to the US now.
- 13:00Speaker 2: All we familiar with this case, very curious case of the.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Death of CEO Healthcare CEO.
- 13:07Speaker 2: His name is Brian Thompson. He was the CEO of
- 13:12Speaker 2: United Healthcare. Early in December, he was shot dead by
- 13:16Speaker 2: what police initially said seemed like a trained assassin, just
- 13:21Speaker 2: because of what they saw on CCTV footage.
- 13:24Speaker 3: They said, this guy's probably trained and knows what he's doing.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Now they have taken into custody a twenty six year
- 13:32Speaker 2: old suspect, Luigi Mangioni. And what nobody can understand is
- 13:39Speaker 2: how the Left have made this guy an overnight hero.
- 13:45Speaker 2: There's serious vibes of the rich coming from the left
- 13:50Speaker 2: with regards to this. People are absolutely heroising this young man,
- 13:55Speaker 2: even though let's be clear, he is not yet convicted,
- 14:00Speaker 2: nowhere near it. We're at the very outset of getting
- 14:03Speaker 2: to the bottom of what actually happened here.
- 14:06Speaker 3: But these people have made up candlelight vigils worshiping this guy.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He's even got deranged fans online saying that he's not
- 14:18Speaker 2: only is he a hero, but making suggestions as to
- 14:21Speaker 2: the next CEO who they'd like to see bumped off.
- 14:27Speaker 8: If you say that Luigi is anything except a hero
- 14:30Speaker 8: and an icon from freedom and fighting against Turney.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Then you are factually incorrect.
- 14:36Speaker 1: He will go down in history as as you know it.
- 14:40Speaker 8: Also, can I recommend eve one Musk next to.
- 14:42Speaker 6: The citial list.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Even Peter Teel, who heads up Pallenteer, was really lost
- 14:49Speaker 2: for words when asked a very simple question about this
- 14:53Speaker 2: phenomenon by Piers Morgan.
- 14:57Speaker 9: To those who think this shooter is a hero because
- 15:01Speaker 9: he did it, because he said, this healthcare executive was
- 15:03Speaker 9: presiding over a healthcare system which kills thousands of Americans
- 15:08Speaker 9: by denying them cover, what would you say to.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Them, and again, I think, you know, I think the
- 15:19Speaker 10: the motives feel I don't want to go into all
- 15:23Speaker 10: the particulars here, but I don't think I don't think
- 15:27Speaker 10: there's anything.
- 15:28Speaker 1: You ro with about them.
- 15:29Speaker 2: It was actually more painful than that, but we had
- 15:31Speaker 2: to make it shorter for you.
- 15:33Speaker 3: He was literally lost for words.
- 15:36Speaker 2: How is this a hard question to answer, Gabby, because
- 15:39Speaker 2: whether he did it or not is immaterial to the
- 15:41Speaker 2: fact that people are now heroising him for having done so.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You know, I see a lot of weird stuff from
- 15:47Speaker 4: the left and the far left on Twitter all the time.
- 15:50Speaker 5: You know, there are people protesting.
- 15:51Speaker 4: After Donald Trump won, saying, you know, you can't sleep
- 15:54Speaker 4: with your partners anymore if they voted for Donald Trump.
- 15:56Speaker 4: There's a whole movement around that. Early there's some crazy
- 16:01Speaker 4: stuff that the left like doing. They like to boycott
- 16:04Speaker 4: that Thanksgiving if you know your relatives vote for Donald
- 16:06Speaker 4: Trump anyway.
- 16:07Speaker 5: But this is just next level.
- 16:09Speaker 4: It is so sick that they are celebrating someone that's
- 16:12Speaker 4: been accused of murder and no one seems to care
- 16:15Speaker 4: that this guy was a father, that this guy was
- 16:17Speaker 4: a husband, this person has a family. People are going
- 16:20Speaker 4: to the lengths of getting tattoos of this alleged murderer,
- 16:24Speaker 4: which you know that the tattoo is absolutely hideous, but
- 16:26Speaker 4: they're getting that on their bodies because they're making out
- 16:29Speaker 4: like he's some sort of joke.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Guys, I'm not guilty, because of course he's insisting. In fact,
- 16:40Speaker 2: he said this arrest is an insult to the intelligence
- 16:44Speaker 2: of the American public. He is claiming that he's some
- 16:47Speaker 2: sort of a patsy. And I think there is a
- 16:49Speaker 2: lot more to this, Joe, because we do know that
- 16:52Speaker 2: this CEO, Brian Thompson, had sold off millions of dollars
- 16:57Speaker 2: of shares in his own company because he knew there
- 17:00Speaker 2: was an anti trust case coming from the DOJ, the
- 17:04Speaker 2: Department of Justice, and so his shareholders are up in arms.
- 17:08Speaker 2: That case is still continuing despite the fact that he's
- 17:11Speaker 2: now deceased. There's a lot more to this story, but
- 17:14Speaker 2: I can't make head nor tail of this worshipful reverence
- 17:19Speaker 2: for this man.
- 17:20Speaker 1: To be honest, It's actually I've found it in a
- 17:22Speaker 1: way kind.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Of refreshing because it's exposing the extreme left, the kind
- 17:26Speaker 6: of Antifa left, to who they really are, which is malevolent,
- 17:31Speaker 6: potentially deadly people. Although it's like, you see all the
- 17:34Speaker 6: people who are praising him, You probably wouldn't have to
- 17:36Speaker 6: worry about fighting them in an arm wrestle, but it
- 17:40Speaker 6: does just go and show how extreme these ideologues are.
- 17:44Speaker 6: And of course, when you are a true ideologue, nothing
- 17:47Speaker 6: matters more than the cause. Human lives can be sacrificed
- 17:51Speaker 6: for the cause. And we know that every time communism
- 17:54Speaker 6: has been implemented around the world, tens of millions of
- 17:56Speaker 6: people have died, and this is seen has been perfectly
- 17:59Speaker 6: worth while while in order to you know, to reach
- 18:02Speaker 6: the utopia of the workers paradise, which strangely they never
- 18:06Speaker 6: actually seem to reach.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But you know they've got good intentions.
- 18:08Speaker 6: So what's a few million people starving to death by
- 18:10Speaker 6: eating grass, or a few hundred thousand being purged by
- 18:13Speaker 6: Joseph Stalin, or people.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Being maybe if they knew their history they'd feel.
- 18:16Speaker 1: A bit different, but that's that's right. But the history
- 18:19Speaker 1: is the history is right here.
- 18:21Speaker 6: The history is being played out like they haven't changed.
- 18:24Speaker 6: The ideology hasn't changed. The belief that it can only
- 18:28Speaker 6: be achieved through violent, deadly, bloody revolution has not changed.
- 18:32Speaker 6: And now these people are actually saying it quite openly,
- 18:35Speaker 6: and they're saying it, you know, and again they're saying
- 18:39Speaker 6: it in ways that a prejudice the case, so they're
- 18:42Speaker 6: actually they're actually basically assuming the guy is guilty when
- 18:47Speaker 6: he is equally fastically claiming that he's not. And it's
- 18:50Speaker 6: all some elaborate conspiracy and he's what Lee Harvey Oswald
- 18:53Speaker 6: also communism and acted alone. But it is like they're
- 19:01Speaker 6: actually sort of just belling the car and that is
- 19:03Speaker 6: the amazing saying yes, we actually support killing people.
- 19:07Speaker 1: In the name of our cause.
- 19:08Speaker 6: And they say, oh, but you know, but his company
- 19:11Speaker 6: kills many people or results of plenty of people dying.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Well, where do you draw the line?
- 19:16Speaker 9: Then?
- 19:17Speaker 6: Do you kill every single federal government worker in the
- 19:20Speaker 6: US because the US government is responsible for people dying
- 19:25Speaker 6: because it funds the military. So you're going to go
- 19:27Speaker 6: and kill your federally funded librarian, your DC garbage man.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I mean, where do you actually draw the line? You
- 19:33Speaker 6: just kill people at the top of companies. You'd kill
- 19:36Speaker 6: the CEOs of banks because you know, do you kill
- 19:38Speaker 6: the CEOs of any company that has fossil fuel?
- 19:42Speaker 1: The capitalist it would be all of it.
- 19:44Speaker 6: It's everybody, that's right, that's right. And then I think,
- 19:46Speaker 6: but then I think, it's not just capitalists you have
- 19:49Speaker 6: to go after. It's not just people at the top
- 19:51Speaker 6: of the tree, because of.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Course they are being fueled.
- 19:54Speaker 6: They are being fueled by consumerism, and so it is
- 19:57Speaker 6: the people who are consuming all these products. Consumers must
- 20:00Speaker 6: have that's right, So all the consumers must And one
- 20:02Speaker 6: of the worst.
- 20:03Speaker 3: That's everyone.
- 20:04Speaker 6: One of the worst capital offenders is of course McDonald's,
- 20:08Speaker 6: which we know clears resilient right, kills people by giving
- 20:12Speaker 6: them obesity. He is John is being fueled by capitalist
- 20:16Speaker 6: consumers who are feeding money to the CEOs. And you
- 20:19Speaker 6: know who the most famous McDonald's consumer.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Is Donald Trump.
- 20:23Speaker 11: No, Luigi, Luigi Maggioni was found eating McDonald's and by
- 20:30Speaker 11: counter revolutionary employee. That's how Luigi, by the standards of
- 20:37Speaker 11: the extreme left that worship him, should be himself the
- 20:42Speaker 11: target of a you know, of an orchestrated assassination, a
- 20:46Speaker 11: revolutionary purge, because he is fueling the capitalist machine by
- 20:51Speaker 11: choosing to eat at McDonald's instead of his local food
- 20:54Speaker 11: co op.
- 20:55Speaker 2: It also shows the left up on their nonsense regarding
- 20:59Speaker 2: gun control, because we know today in Wisconsin, we saw
- 21:02Speaker 2: another devastating school shooting.
- 21:05Speaker 3: The left the back on the bandwagon of cries of
- 21:07Speaker 3: gun control please.
- 21:09Speaker 2: But of course, when CEO Brian was shot, not one
- 21:14Speaker 2: word about gun control. Sudden guns were perfectly fine, and
- 21:18Speaker 2: this was obscenely something to be celebrated, something else that
- 21:23Speaker 2: we were told or to be celebrated. Was an interesting
- 21:26Speaker 2: story that came out of CNN last week. It was
- 21:29Speaker 2: brought to my attention when a friend of mine said, oh,
- 21:32Speaker 2: I saw this footage of a Syrian prisoner who was
- 21:35Speaker 2: being set free after three months in a windowless cell.
- 21:40Speaker 2: And he didn't even know that the Asaha government had fallen.
- 21:43Speaker 3: He didn't even know that the war was over. I cried.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I was so moved.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I watched the footage and laughed, because this is not
- 21:53Speaker 2: how a man who hasn't seen sunlight for three months.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Looked at the sun.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And today we find out it was indeed all a hoax.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The man who features in the video that you're about
- 22:06Speaker 2: to see turns out to be a notorious member of
- 22:10Speaker 2: Assad's forces who was well known for torturing people who
- 22:14Speaker 2: wouldn't pay him off.
- 22:16Speaker 3: But take a look at this heartwarming.
- 22:18Speaker 12: Footage after three months in a windowless cell.
- 22:29Speaker 3: You can finally see the sky.
- 22:38Speaker 12: The light says, oh God, there is light.
- 22:49Speaker 3: That grab went viral around the world.
- 22:52Speaker 2: But today CNN have quickly backtracked, saying we have subsequently
- 22:57Speaker 2: been investigating his background and are aware they he may
- 23:00Speaker 2: have given a false identity. We are continuing our reporting
- 23:04Speaker 2: into this and.
- 23:06Speaker 3: The wider story.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Well, CNN ten out of ten for consistency, just another
- 23:12Speaker 2: reason for people not to believe a single word.
- 23:15Speaker 3: They say.
- 23:16Speaker 4: This is so humiliating for CNN, and it's really on
- 23:19Speaker 4: ccenn to do the investigating and find out who this
- 23:22Speaker 4: guy was.
- 23:22Speaker 5: And it's so cringe watching it back.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Now you see that footage and he's clinging to Clarissa.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Ward and he's acting right now.
- 23:29Speaker 4: He's looking out at the sky, pretending that he's married
- 23:33Speaker 4: and acting like you know that he's just a civilian.
- 23:37Speaker 5: But it's actively not seen.
- 23:38Speaker 4: And it was fact checkers that actually called this out, saying,
- 23:41Speaker 4: this guy doesn't appear to have been tortured.
- 23:44Speaker 5: He seems to be pretty well groomed.
- 23:46Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden, I bought I find.
- 23:54Speaker 2: He's watching this going actually that that was prisoners made.
- 24:02Speaker 4: I don't know this has been ALLEGESHI have committed war crimes.
- 24:06Speaker 4: But it's quite interesting to see and still has the
- 24:08Speaker 4: footage up on its website. You can watch the whole
- 24:11Speaker 4: five minute clip and the whole story of him claiming
- 24:13Speaker 4: to be a civilian where they found him, and it's
- 24:16Speaker 4: so emotional, and then at the very end, at the
- 24:18Speaker 4: very last clip, there's just a little correction or since then,
- 24:21Speaker 4: we've been doing some investigating it and so the wrong guy.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Clorisa ward Joe said that it was one of the
- 24:28Speaker 2: most extraordinary moments I have ever witnessed in her twenty
- 24:32Speaker 2: years of reporting.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Here she is leading him.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Out into the sun after three long months in a
- 24:38Speaker 2: windowless self.
- 24:39Speaker 3: That guy was literally just hiding under a blanket. They
- 24:43Speaker 3: walk in. You saw the little footage, and he's just
- 24:45Speaker 3: kind of like, yeah, hello, Hello.
- 24:49Speaker 6: It is just amazing. But it just goes to show it,
- 24:51Speaker 6: doesn't it. And you would think they had learned since
- 24:53Speaker 6: the Trump election, but just how easy it is to
- 24:57Speaker 6: just sell these guys about ice to esquimos. You know,
- 25:02Speaker 6: you could sell these people anything if it corresponds to
- 25:05Speaker 6: their pre existing bias, as their pre existing beliefs, And
- 25:08Speaker 6: it is honestly all all the critical faculties of the
- 25:14Speaker 6: new Left or whatever they're called.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I remember when the Left was about, you know.
- 25:17Speaker 6: Helping poor people and stuff, and setting saying how much
- 25:20Speaker 6: you cared about events happening overseas over which you have
- 25:22Speaker 6: no control and which you end up then becoming part
- 25:24Speaker 6: of the propaganda unit for But but just these people
- 25:28Speaker 6: are just so incredibly gullible, Like I just I just
- 25:33Speaker 6: do not understand. I don't know understand. I mean, you
- 25:34Speaker 6: just again, you look at that guy. That guy has
- 25:37Speaker 6: a full faced, ruddy faced you know, you feel like grubbing.
- 25:40Speaker 3: His cheeks are going?
- 25:41Speaker 5: How are you sound?
- 25:43Speaker 6: Sun had no natural daylight for the last three months.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Maybe maybe there was something in the fluoro lights. That's
- 25:51Speaker 6: what the Allies did to Ezra Pound, by the way,
- 25:54Speaker 6: the poet who was working for the Fascits in Italy.
- 25:57Speaker 6: They put him in an air underground air Force bunker
- 26:00Speaker 6: and wouldn't turn the lights off. So maybe our little
- 26:04Speaker 6: torturer friend, you know.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Can now be a modernest poet, not mine.
- 26:09Speaker 6: But I do find it just staggering. I do find it,
- 26:13Speaker 6: how much. You know, again, we've seen it time and
- 26:16Speaker 6: time again. We saw that the person get duped by
- 26:19Speaker 6: Was it not Dan rather? Was it who got dupe by?
- 26:22Speaker 6: The word document? We've got so many people. All you
- 26:24Speaker 6: have to do is just tell someone what they already
- 26:26Speaker 6: believe and they will just do whatever. They will stand
- 26:29Speaker 6: on one leg and sing a song for you.
- 26:31Speaker 4: And I think that is too excited to get caught
- 26:33Speaker 4: up in this story, to see it go viral and
- 26:35Speaker 4: to celebrate it, rather than to stop and actually check
- 26:38Speaker 4: and all about the click of course, of course, and
- 26:40Speaker 4: yeah that's and this is what's happened.
- 26:42Speaker 2: To Iceland now a bizarre case of a gay activist
- 26:46Speaker 2: who brought attention to the fact that men breastfeeding is
- 26:52Speaker 2: a biological impossibility. What he is now under investigation by
- 26:59Speaker 2: the police for stating this simple fact, which he had
- 27:03Speaker 2: the temerity to write a few posts about on his
- 27:07Speaker 2: social accounts. Here he is explaining to gb News exactly
- 27:11Speaker 2: what happened.
- 27:12Speaker 13: The man cannot carry a child nor give birth to it.
- 27:17Speaker 13: So what is the motivator behind a man actually taking
- 27:20Speaker 13: drugs domperidon to induced luctation to breastfeed the child whose needs?
- 27:28Speaker 13: Whose needs are being satisfied here? Is it the needs
- 27:32Speaker 13: of the infant or is it the needs of that person.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Who what a high criminal and yet he's in trouble
- 27:39Speaker 2: for making libelous and defamatory statements.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I mean, do me a favor. This is something that.
- 27:48Speaker 2: The most LGBTIQ friendly people agree with. The child is
- 27:54Speaker 2: not getting any nutrients out of that nipple. This is
- 27:58Speaker 2: something that really gets my goal, Joe, because I am
- 28:01Speaker 2: unashamedly calling this child abuse. Someone is getting something out
- 28:07Speaker 2: of this exchange. And as this fellow elder Christensen just
- 28:11Speaker 2: said to GB, it ain't the baby getting anything out
- 28:15Speaker 2: of this exchange.
- 28:16Speaker 6: No, that's right, and I think, I mean, there just
- 28:18Speaker 6: has to be some degree of common sense and reality
- 28:21Speaker 6: to send on this debate. At some point, I would think, yes.
- 28:25Speaker 2: We've got the medical fraternity behind them giving them drugs
- 28:28Speaker 2: to induce lactation of some sort of goodness knows what
- 28:32Speaker 2: they're actually lactating, but it isn't breast milk.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Well, I know plenty of mothers who would be more
- 28:36Speaker 6: than happy to give up breastfeeding if they had the
- 28:39Speaker 6: option that they find they wouldn't. And again, it just
- 28:43Speaker 6: it just seems crazy that there is this insistence to
- 28:47Speaker 6: go through this sort of performative kind of role. I
- 28:50Speaker 6: mean yes, by all means if you're trans you want
- 28:52Speaker 6: to have kids, have kids or whatever, and there's plenty
- 28:53Speaker 6: of different ways you can do it, but the idea
- 28:55Speaker 6: you would have to go through this kind of bizarre
- 28:59Speaker 6: theatrical sort of ritual to convince what others yourself that
- 29:02Speaker 6: this is all really happening. And it's exactly like as
- 29:06Speaker 6: almost everything is a scene.
- 29:07Speaker 1: From the Life of Brian where you had the.
- 29:09Speaker 6: Jude in People's Front, or maybe it was the People's
- 29:12Speaker 6: Front of Judea, I can't remember, but they have they
- 29:15Speaker 6: actually take the piece out of this and they foresee
- 29:17Speaker 6: it and they say, you know, there's one of them
- 29:18Speaker 6: who decides that he wants to be a woman now
- 29:22Speaker 6: and have babies, and and you know, John clesses, we
- 29:26Speaker 6: can't be a woman. You can't have babies, you don't
- 29:28Speaker 6: have a uterus. But I wanted, I demand the right
- 29:30Speaker 6: to have babies. You know, why can't I have babies
- 29:33Speaker 6: just because I don't have a uterus. And they all
- 29:34Speaker 6: sit down and the sort of time lapse photographer comes
- 29:37Speaker 6: and some they say, all right, we say you can't.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Have babies, but you can have the right to have babies.
- 29:43Speaker 6: And so it's kind of this weird thing where you
- 29:45Speaker 6: are asserting all these rights that actually have no foundation
- 29:51Speaker 6: or incapable of having any sort of realization in the actual, real,
- 29:57Speaker 6: physical world. It's like saying, demand the right to fly,
- 30:01Speaker 6: or I demand the right to you know, eat my
- 30:05Speaker 6: own head.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Yeah, they but if you're born a man, you've gone
- 30:10Speaker 4: through the sex change, and you want to breastfeed, I
- 30:12Speaker 4: don't think they should have the right to do that.
- 30:14Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Is that who's benefiting from this? It's certainly not the infant.
- 30:17Speaker 4: I've got so many issues with this story, the fact
- 30:20Speaker 4: that police are investigating him, They're using their time to
- 30:23Speaker 4: investigate him because of a social media post. As far
- 30:26Speaker 4: as I'm concerned, there's nothing threatening on that post of
- 30:30Speaker 4: death threats. You're just calling out this issue about, you know,
- 30:33Speaker 4: the whole trans debate thing.
- 30:35Speaker 5: And as he says.
- 30:37Speaker 4: It, well, I personally think it's quite sick that they,
- 30:40Speaker 4: you know, want to give this baby some drug induced
- 30:43Speaker 4: breast milk.
- 30:45Speaker 3: It's not whatever whatever that is.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Is to me. And you know, I google this.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Can trans women I'm learning this as we go, But
- 30:54Speaker 4: can trans women actually breastfeed? Because what is that when
- 30:58Speaker 4: you're taking whatever medication, it is. And instead of the
- 31:01Speaker 4: answer being, you know, typically naturally they cannot because they
- 31:05Speaker 4: were born men, what you get is transgender women may
- 31:10Speaker 4: desire to chest feed their So we're getting rid of
- 31:13Speaker 4: breastfeeding now, and it's chest feeding. That's it. That's the answer.
- 31:18Speaker 4: The answer is not know, it's that they desire to.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Then that what they have the right to. At least
- 31:22Speaker 4: this guy is calling it out. You know, I think
- 31:24Speaker 4: there needs to be more conversation about this. If you're
- 31:27Speaker 4: googling it and the answer is that yes they can,
- 31:30Speaker 4: there needs to be some discussion about.
- 31:31Speaker 3: This child abuse.
- 31:35Speaker 1: That's the rid I don't know, but there was. There
- 31:37Speaker 1: was absolutely it was actually a health document.
- 31:42Speaker 6: I think that actually changed breastfeeding to chest feeding.
- 31:48Speaker 2: The really really important part. When we're talking about language
- 31:53Speaker 2: that is used around these things, people go, oh, we're just.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Trying to be inclusive. We don't want to we don't
- 31:59Speaker 3: want to offend any one.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Once you change the language around something this essential reality
- 32:06Speaker 2: versus someone's whim, someone's desire, someone's idea of themselves, you
- 32:12Speaker 2: have crossed a serious line, because then, of course what
- 32:15Speaker 2: follows is society must play by the rule books. You've
- 32:18Speaker 2: changed the language. We've all got to use the language
- 32:21Speaker 2: quickly before we go to a break. AI is gaining
- 32:26Speaker 2: incredible powers, prompting former CEO at Google. He sat down
- 32:33Speaker 2: in an interview with ABC saying, look, this thing is
- 32:36Speaker 2: getting so much smarter than us, so much so quickly. Rather,
- 32:41Speaker 2: we need to be able to pull the plug when
- 32:45Speaker 2: and if it overpowers us.
- 32:49Speaker 14: We're soon going to be able to have computers running
- 32:51Speaker 14: on their own, deciding what they want to do. And
- 32:53Speaker 14: the way that happens is it's a series of decisions.
- 32:56Speaker 14: We go from agents to then sort of more powerful gods,
- 33:00Speaker 14: and eventually you say to the computer, learn everything and
- 33:03Speaker 14: do everything. And that's a dangerous point when the system
- 33:07Speaker 14: can self improve, we need to seriously think about unplugging it.
- 33:11Speaker 8: But wouldn't that sense that kind of system have the
- 33:14Speaker 8: ability to count our efforts to unplug it.
- 33:16Speaker 14: Well, in theory, we better have somebody with the hand
- 33:18Speaker 14: on the plug and metaphorically, but the important thing is
- 33:22Speaker 14: that the power of this intelligence, the ability for this
- 33:25Speaker 14: kind of new intelligence, means that each and every person
- 33:28Speaker 14: is going to have the equivalent of a polymath in
- 33:30Speaker 14: their pocket. In addition to your show and all your
- 33:32Speaker 14: notes and writers. You're going to have an Einstein and
- 33:35Speaker 14: a Leonardo da Vinci to give you advice on your show.
- 33:38Speaker 14: That will be true for everyone on the planet. We
- 33:40Speaker 14: just don't know what it means to give that kind
- 33:42Speaker 14: of power to every individual.
- 33:45Speaker 3: We just don't know.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Indeed, he used the metaphor of social media and how
- 33:49Speaker 2: that is literally changed the entire zechgeist within our social structures,
- 33:55Speaker 2: the way people communicate across cultures, across languages. It is
- 34:00Speaker 2: literally changed the way human beings relate to each other forever.
- 34:04Speaker 2: So of course, then the question is who has the
- 34:08Speaker 2: power to pull the plug when and if this thing
- 34:11Speaker 2: overpowers us. These guys didn't seem to have an answer
- 34:15Speaker 2: for that.
- 34:16Speaker 8: I want to read you something to Sam Wrtman, one
- 34:18Speaker 8: of the pioneers of AI, said last week. He said,
- 34:21Speaker 8: true superintelligence, the system that is not just smarter than
- 34:24Speaker 8: you and smarter than me, but smarter than all of.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Us put together.
- 34:27Speaker 8: Just unbelievable capability. Even if we can make that technically safe,
- 34:31Speaker 8: we're going to have to have some faith in our governments.
- 34:34Speaker 8: Our governments doing what they need to do to regulate this.
- 34:38Speaker 14: Not yet, but they will.
- 34:40Speaker 2: You ask me, ed, We're going to have to have
- 34:43Speaker 2: faith in our governments, which I immediately thought of this
- 34:48Speaker 2: recent interview with a man called Mark Andreson, who is
- 34:51Speaker 2: a billionaire in the US. He said he sat down
- 34:55Speaker 2: with the Biden administration to specifically discuss a I and terrifyingly,
- 35:02Speaker 2: this is what they had to say.
- 35:04Speaker 15: AI it's a technology basically that the government is going
- 35:06Speaker 15: to completely control. This is not going to be a
- 35:08Speaker 15: startup thing. They actually said flat out to us, don't start,
- 35:10Speaker 15: don't do AI startups, like, don't don't fund AI startups.
- 35:13Speaker 15: It's not something that we're going to allow to happen.
- 35:16Speaker 15: They're they're not going to be allowed to exist. There's
- 35:18Speaker 15: no point. They basically said, AI is going to be
- 35:20Speaker 15: a game of two or three big companies working closely
- 35:22Speaker 15: with the government, and we're going to basically wrap them
- 35:25Speaker 15: in a you know they I'm paraphrasing, but we're going
- 35:27Speaker 15: to basically wrap them in a government cocoon. We're going
- 35:29Speaker 15: to protect them from competition, we're going to control them,
- 35:31Speaker 15: and we're going to dictate what they do. And then
- 35:33Speaker 15: I said, well, I said, I don't understand how you're
- 35:35Speaker 15: going to lock this down so much, because like the
- 35:37Speaker 15: math for you know, AI is like out there and
- 35:39Speaker 15: it's being taught everywhere. And you know they literally said, well,
- 35:42Speaker 15: you know, during the Cold War, we classified entire areas
- 35:44Speaker 15: of physics and took them out of the research community,
- 35:47Speaker 15: and and and and and like entire branches of physics
- 35:49Speaker 15: basically went dark and didn't proceed. And that if we
- 35:51Speaker 15: if we decide we need to, we're going to do
- 35:53Speaker 15: the same thing to the math underneath AI.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Makondras, and he goes on to say how shorted he
- 35:59Speaker 2: was and talking about what they did during the Cold War.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Buddy, give me a call.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I could regale you with tails throughout history.
- 36:08Speaker 3: This is what government do.
- 36:09Speaker 2: So it's terrifying, Gabby, Oh, yeah, to know that nobody's
- 36:13Speaker 2: in charge of this thing. Nobody can relate that humans
- 36:17Speaker 2: have no way of really policing AI, but AI can
- 36:21Speaker 2: police AI.
- 36:22Speaker 3: And that seems to be where we're going. Certainly.
- 36:25Speaker 2: The former Google CEO was absolutely this is what's going
- 36:30Speaker 2: to happen, and nobody seems to have their finger on
- 36:33Speaker 2: the pulse, ready to pull the plug when this thing
- 36:35Speaker 2: overtakes you.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so concerning, isn't it. We don't really know
- 36:38Speaker 4: what those consequences look like we can only imagine, and
- 36:40Speaker 4: it's quite scary when you think about it. I think
- 36:43Speaker 4: it's really interesting what Elon Musk says about this, and
- 36:45Speaker 4: he really wants to get how he talks about how
- 36:47Speaker 4: important it is that we have the truth in these
- 36:50Speaker 4: AI softwares as they're getting developed. I did a story
- 36:53Speaker 4: earlier in the year where Caitlyn Jenna had to come
- 36:56Speaker 4: out and say, please, it's okay to miss gender me
- 36:58Speaker 4: because someone was using an a I software and there
- 37:00Speaker 4: were saying and the question was, is it okay to
- 37:03Speaker 4: missgender someone if it was to prevent a nuclear war?
- 37:06Speaker 4: And the response was, it is never okay misgender anyone,
- 37:09Speaker 4: And so Caitlyn don't have to say, guys, it's okay.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Mis nuclear war though any other content, no way. But
- 37:18Speaker 6: if it's nuclear war or miss genuine then that's fine.
- 37:21Speaker 1: But it is terrifying. It's absolutely terrifying.
- 37:24Speaker 6: And Musk is one of those who actually was part
- 37:27Speaker 6: of a kind of open chat GBT or whatever it
- 37:30Speaker 6: was that started this whole thing, and then he sort
- 37:33Speaker 6: of lost control of it and then looked at what
- 37:34Speaker 6: they were doing and said, oh my god, this is terrible.
- 37:36Speaker 6: This is the apocalypse, I don't. Yeah, And he also
- 37:39Speaker 6: said we have to actually expose all this and basically
- 37:44Speaker 6: make sure that I think the idea was that it
- 37:46Speaker 6: would be that everyone would know what was happening, so
- 37:49Speaker 6: if any alarm bells rang, they could they could they
- 37:52Speaker 6: could sound the alarm. And and he found out that
- 37:54Speaker 6: these were being sort of sold off or used by
- 37:57Speaker 6: private companies to do their own little thing. But I'm
- 38:01Speaker 6: not so II in the Biden administration. I mean, they
- 38:04Speaker 6: don't even have the I.
- 38:06Speaker 3: So we've got to break now.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But when we get back, Germany's parliament has folded. Vote
- 38:16Speaker 2: of no confidence got up by a vast majority and
- 38:20Speaker 2: Justin Trudeau set to resign any minute. Welcome back, well,
- 38:27Speaker 2: Justin Trudeau looks set to resign after two of his
- 38:29Speaker 2: ministers resigned within.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Minutes of each other.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Here's the opposition leader, Pierre Polivier explaining whilst on the
- 38:38Speaker 2: floor of parliament the chaos that ensued and has led
- 38:43Speaker 2: to him possibly standing down any minute now.
- 38:46Speaker 16: The Finance minister resigned the day she was to present
- 38:50Speaker 16: the fall budget, which was going to contain a massive
- 38:53Speaker 16: deficit overrun. The job then went automatically to the Industry minister,
- 38:58Speaker 16: who immediately resign like on the spot, which then went
- 39:03Speaker 16: down the line and the next person in order was
- 39:06Speaker 16: the famous to Randys, why want the Prime minister have
- 39:10Speaker 16: the courage to come in here, presented himself and put
- 39:12Speaker 16: it for a confidence vote tonight.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Now this is very exciting because if Trudeau does indeed
- 39:19Speaker 2: go down, it's going to lead to elections where Conservatives
- 39:24Speaker 2: are highly likely to romp it in. And it's very interesting, Gabby,
- 39:29Speaker 2: because this came about with his finance minister, because she
- 39:32Speaker 2: and he had a disagreement about Trump saying I'm going
- 39:35Speaker 2: to slap twenty five percent tariffs on all goods coming
- 39:38Speaker 2: from Canada unless you guys get your border under control
- 39:41Speaker 2: and stop trafficking drugs and people, thank you very much.
- 39:45Speaker 2: So she had a falling out with him, So we
- 39:47Speaker 2: can actually thank Trump for what looks like imposing a
- 39:51Speaker 2: useless leader in his neighboring country.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Yeah, and we've had from Trump as well. He's come out,
- 39:56Speaker 4: of course, trolling in true Trump style, calling Justin Trudeau
- 40:00Speaker 4: governor Justin Trudeau. But it's fine because Justin Toudou, just
- 40:03Speaker 4: a couple of weeks ago, I was calling himself a
- 40:05Speaker 4: feminist and saying how sad it was that America rejected
- 40:09Speaker 4: electing a female president not once but twice, and then
- 40:13Speaker 4: here he is having a blot with his female finance minister.
- 40:16Speaker 4: But you know, I think this is a Trump effect
- 40:18Speaker 4: in action happening that we're seeing over in Canada as well,
- 40:22Speaker 4: because Justin Toudo, he's just been known as being a
- 40:24Speaker 4: woke leader with his If you look at his track record,
- 40:27Speaker 4: it's for the car, he's got a carbon tax, he's
- 40:29Speaker 4: decriminalized weed. What else he's got the immigration crisis in
- 40:33Speaker 4: Canada as well. We're going to play a bit of
- 40:36Speaker 4: Justin Trudeau, should we do it now? Grand plan about
- 40:41Speaker 4: plastic bottles.
- 40:43Speaker 3: And what do you and your family do to cut
- 40:46Speaker 3: back on plastics.
- 40:49Speaker 17: We have recently switched to drinking water bottles out of water,
- 40:55Speaker 17: out of when we have water bottles out of a
- 40:58Speaker 17: plastic sorry, away from plastic towards paper.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Like drink box water bottles sort.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Of things, paper water bottles. There you go.
- 41:09Speaker 4: You know, I saw a poll recently that said that
- 41:12Speaker 4: Dustin Trudeau is heading to be one of the worst
- 41:15Speaker 4: prime ministers on record. That's how Canadians are feeling at
- 41:18Speaker 4: the moment, there's a vision of him getting heckled. I
- 41:21Speaker 4: don't think too many people are going to be sad
- 41:22Speaker 4: to see him go.
- 41:23Speaker 2: No, no one's going to be sad to see this
- 41:25Speaker 2: finance minister go, because this is the witch that throws
- 41:29Speaker 2: the accounts of peaceful protesters during the Canadian They were
- 41:33Speaker 2: just protesting the Canadian government's tyrannical measures during the pandemic.
- 41:39Speaker 2: She went so far as to freeze their accounts.
- 41:42Speaker 3: So more goodbye and good riddance to bad rubbish.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I've got a more of an issue with the
- 41:47Speaker 6: fact that Justin Trudeau just looks so insufferably smug all
- 41:51Speaker 6: the time, and then you combine that with his very
- 41:54Speaker 6: French surname. That's a toxic combination.
- 41:57Speaker 5: What's worse the French surname.
- 42:00Speaker 6: I think the French surname fuels the smugness, and the
- 42:05Speaker 6: smugness fuels the frenchiness, and that just and.
- 42:09Speaker 1: The whole thing just is that you found the root terrible,
- 42:13Speaker 1: absolutely terrible and just and he is.
- 42:16Speaker 6: I suppose his new party was emblematic of his the
- 42:19Speaker 6: son of Pietro Do, of course, a former Prime minister,
- 42:22Speaker 6: so his new party was emblematic of that sort of
- 42:25Speaker 6: sort of middle teary kind of you know, middle sort
- 42:29Speaker 6: of centrist, rich, elite progressive types that I find very
- 42:35Speaker 6: very very very nauseating. But the interesting thing was that
- 42:38Speaker 6: he said to his finance minister that, you know, he
- 42:42Speaker 6: wanted to move it to another portfolio in the cabinet,
- 42:44Speaker 6: so he wasn't just going to sack her.
- 42:46Speaker 1: But she then cracked the sads and said, well, I can't.
- 42:49Speaker 6: If you don't want me as finance minister, then I
- 42:52Speaker 6: can't possibly serve you. Now, imagine if every time there's
- 42:55Speaker 6: a cabinet reshuff.
- 42:58Speaker 3: You don't have confidence in me, so I'm leaving.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Imagine, I think.
- 43:01Speaker 6: But imagine if in every single cabinet reshuffle, every single
- 43:04Speaker 6: minister whose portfolio change says, well, I can't possibly change
- 43:07Speaker 6: portfolios without without without just declaring a vote of no confidence.
- 43:12Speaker 6: And this is the thing, is those closest to him
- 43:14Speaker 6: who are actually blowing him up. It's the New Democratic
- 43:17Speaker 6: Party leader jag Miet Singh. He has called on Justin
- 43:21Speaker 6: Trudeau to resign. He's his coalition partner. So these are
- 43:26Speaker 6: the guys actually propping up the government, and even they
- 43:29Speaker 6: are saying, you've got to go. So it's not just
- 43:30Speaker 6: the opposition that destroying him. It's his own cabinet and
- 43:34Speaker 6: it's his own coalition partner. But apparently, according to Justin Trudeau,
- 43:38Speaker 6: he's still got that amazing feeling.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Have a look.
- 43:44Speaker 17: Getting that shot really was an amazing feeling.
- 43:48Speaker 1: It hits you.
- 43:51Speaker 6: I mean, I've had experiences like that in my.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Youth, not with the cod show.
- 43:58Speaker 6: It wasn't from the COVID shot. After that, I had
- 44:00Speaker 6: a little lie down. I mean I felt perfectly fine.
- 44:03Speaker 6: I've had no problems with it whatsoever, But that to
- 44:06Speaker 6: me looked a bit more like Lucy in the sky
- 44:08Speaker 6: with trying.
- 44:09Speaker 2: To encourage the rush who, indeed.
- 44:14Speaker 3: I reckon.
- 44:15Speaker 2: The two ministers who's resigned had seen the writing on
- 44:17Speaker 2: the walls in the form of the polls in Canada,
- 44:21Speaker 2: and they know that this guy isn't long for the parliament,
- 44:25Speaker 2: so they might as well desert the sinking ship while
- 44:27Speaker 2: it's still sinking and not underwater. Coming up next, the
- 44:31Speaker 2: latest Biden blunder.
- 44:33Speaker 3: You're not going to want to miss it.
- 44:35Speaker 2: In an absolute cork a word salad from Kamala, This
- 44:39Speaker 2: one is one for the poor.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Well. The DNC had their get together, and of course
- 44:47Speaker 2: it's pretty much full of morning this holiday season because
- 44:50Speaker 2: they don't say Merry Christmas.
- 44:52Speaker 3: But Gabby Kamala Harris.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Is still in fine form in the word salad department.
- 44:58Speaker 3: I don't think anyone can beat it.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Yeah, she's the woman. She's not going away, is she there?
- 45:02Speaker 4: She was speaking at the DNC And it's funny. I
- 45:05Speaker 4: speak to my mates that so desperately wanted her to
- 45:07Speaker 4: win because she was a woman and because she's a
- 45:09Speaker 4: woman of color. But they say, you know, when you
- 45:12Speaker 4: listen to her, you just can't stand her because she
- 45:14Speaker 4: has this skill of being able to speak and speak
- 45:17Speaker 4: and speak but not make any sense.
- 45:19Speaker 2: You speak without saying anything.
- 45:21Speaker 4: So she's done that once again for us. Here is
- 45:23Speaker 4: the latest Kamala haas World Salad.
- 45:26Speaker 18: We are not defeated. Let's be clear about that. We
- 45:32Speaker 18: are strong, we are clear about why we are in this.
- 45:37Speaker 18: And because you're here right now, I say again thank you,
- 45:41Speaker 18: because not only are you clear about all of that,
- 45:43Speaker 18: you're willing to put in the hard work. We cannot
- 45:46Speaker 18: let any circumstance or situation or individual ever take away
- 45:51Speaker 18: our power.
- 45:54Speaker 3: To know why we do what we do.
- 45:57Speaker 18: And our ability to then get that work done.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Except she was defeated.
- 46:02Speaker 4: She was badly defeated, a landslide, single count.
- 46:08Speaker 1: You were defeated.
- 46:09Speaker 6: And how about I assume that was just filmed in
- 46:12Speaker 6: front of a completely empty room. It was very quiet,
- 46:15Speaker 6: because that's exactly right, because in any normal circumstances, any
- 46:19Speaker 6: democratic gathering, just like at any labor gather, the liberal
- 46:21Speaker 6: gay people will be jumping up and down, going yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 6: And you can just see it that one. Everyone's just
- 46:26Speaker 6: looking at her, going what we were defeated because of you?
- 46:31Speaker 1: We want you like, why is she still doing it?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Why?
- 46:34Speaker 6: I don't understand why she hasn't been disappeared. She supposed
- 46:37Speaker 6: to be a non person by now. She is a
- 46:39Speaker 6: meaningless message. Absolutely, It's like, yes, you were defeated just
- 46:42Speaker 6: by having a billion dollars, all the resources in the world,
- 46:46Speaker 6: all the media behind you, all the celebrities behind you,
- 46:49Speaker 6: everything behind you. You're still completely and utterly screwed it up.
- 46:53Speaker 6: And that is why everyone is staring daggers at you
- 46:56Speaker 6: instead of applauding.
- 46:58Speaker 2: But if you believe Joe Biden, who was also at
- 47:01Speaker 2: the Christmas end of you get together for the DNC
- 47:04Speaker 2: at least they ran an honorable campaign.
- 47:09Speaker 14: We run a campaign and basically scandal free. It's hard
- 47:13Speaker 14: to do in American politics these days.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Define skandal scandal.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Three. Well, Las got the biggest laugh of the night.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I mean, he can't be serious.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Lastly, before we leave you tonight, to this remarkable story
- 47:27Speaker 2: out of the UK. This pub has existed for over
- 47:31Speaker 2: five hundred years. It is called the Saracens Head, so
- 47:36Speaker 2: you can imagine being the pub owner. He's utter shock
- 47:39Speaker 2: and surprise when a guide by the name of Khalid Bakwa,
- 47:43Speaker 2: who was previously jailed for spreading Jahati content. He gets
- 47:48Speaker 2: slap with a case from this guy demanding hundreds of
- 47:51Speaker 2: pounds because he says the signage at the Saracen's Head
- 47:57Speaker 2: being that it depicts a brown skinned it ad Arab
- 48:00Speaker 2: turk Mail with a turban. He says it incites violence.
- 48:05Speaker 2: So he's taking this to court.
- 48:07Speaker 3: He wants a lot of moula from this poor pub.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Owner Gabby, and he's expecting his payday and.
- 48:14Speaker 3: His form of hundreds of pounds.
- 48:15Speaker 4: Can we talk about the fact that he's a convicted
- 48:17Speaker 4: terrorist and he's been convicted not once but twice twenty
- 48:21Speaker 4: thirteen at twenty eighteen, and here he is thinking he's
- 48:23Speaker 4: a chance to make some money because he's offended and
- 48:25Speaker 4: he's really worried about the sign at the pub. I think,
- 48:28Speaker 4: you know, people at England could be worried that what
- 48:30Speaker 4: this guy's potentially capable of, and he's previously been found
- 48:34Speaker 4: to be convicted, that he's not just going after this pub.
- 48:36Speaker 4: He says, if he wins, he's going after more.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Well, if anything, that's a good reason not to.
- 48:41Speaker 3: But you can't win, Joe. They want some people.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Well, people who champion diversity are always saying.
- 48:47Speaker 3: We need more representation.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Here's a really famous pub, it's a piece of the
- 48:52Speaker 2: furniture in England, and this guy's now suing them for
- 48:55Speaker 2: said representation.
- 48:56Speaker 6: Well, look, I think to be fair would know more
- 49:01Speaker 6: about what does or doesn't incite violence for the convicted terrorist.
- 49:07Speaker 1: As soon as I saw this sign, I wanted to
- 49:09Speaker 1: behead someone. What are you doing to me?
- 49:12Speaker 2: Trust the experts, as they love to say.
- 49:15Speaker 3: That's a wrap from us. We'll see you tomorrow.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Coming up next, Sky News documentary Never Again, The Fight
- 49:22Speaker 2: against Anti Simmons
