- 0:00Here's what you need to know. Time magazine has released it's annual Most Influential
- 0:04People in the World, and Pike everybody's talking about it. She made the
- 0:07list to do a lipa do alipa. Oh boy, what did she do
- 0:12that was so influential? I mean, she's obviously just pumping out hit after
- 0:15hit. Yeah, and she's incredibly attractive. But that's all I can think
- 0:19of, all right, twenty one Savage, Jeffrey Wright, Patrick Mahomes,
- 0:22My Rudolph, just a few of the highlights. This is going to be
- 0:25on TV for their little ceremony for It is going to be on ABC May
- 0:30twelfth. The Michael J. Fox is set to receive a Time Impact Award,
- 0:34which would be great good for him. JF and u Alipa's performing.
- 0:37Oh you might want to market now, let me ask you a personal question.
- 0:41Okay, who would win most Influential Person in Amanda Leese World this past
- 0:46year? Huh? You know, Pike, you'd be up there? Really?
- 0:51Yeah? You coming back saving my life? Yeah? Yeah? Me,
- 0:55you know I did. I did save you from that cool that one
- 0:58afternoon one to a life preserver for me. Ah yeah, I'm gonna I'm
- 1:03gonna put you up there. That's amazing to hear. Wow, you'd be
- 1:08you'd be in mine. Thanks. I mean, it was kind of like
- 1:11force now that it would be you, it'd be Jordan Love. Jordan Love
- 1:15really quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, really impacted my life in a great
- 1:19way this past year when I was down. Really didn't bring you up that
- 1:23one week thinking that it was a stop just it really was. It was
- 1:26one week, always a sudden you jumped in and you were like, oh,
- 1:30like he was some great god out of nowhere in a way. Okay,
- 1:36that's fair. Watch out for this scam. They're saying it's a new
- 1:38one, but you and I both kind of knew that this was going on.
- 1:41It's called the can you hear me? Scam? So somebody is gonna
- 1:44call you, whether they pretend a government official or to be like a bankrupt
- 1:47or something, a bank rep or something can tell you this is a bank
- 1:52Robert, do you have a few minutes? So they're gonna say can you
- 1:56hear me? And the whole point is for you to say yes. And
- 1:59now they're saying that if you say yes and they record it, which is
- 2:01what they're supposed to be doing. They can start charging your phone or your
- 2:06account for things. I don't see how this is possible. Maybe I'm not
- 2:09smart enough to understand how that would work. But well, if you call
- 2:14and you need like let's say you're opening your credit card and they need a
- 2:15verbal you know. I remember Home Alone two when Kevin mccowister booked the hotel
- 2:20room only using a recording. Uh huh, I guess that. I don't
- 2:23know with AI now is it even relevant? Because couldn't they just take my
- 2:27entire voice already and say anything they want with it? You know what I
- 2:30mean? I just watched Spike. Don't give them any other ideas. I'm
- 2:35just saying, like, what's possible right now? I just saw on Instagram
- 2:38a video of Donald Trump and Joe Biden going back and forth in actual video
- 2:43arguing about the best Blink Win eighty two albums of all time. It was
- 2:46the greatest thing I've seen, and it was so real. Who's gonna get
- 2:51your vote in November? With such a hot debate? Hey, listen,
- 2:53I mean, did either of a map like which? It was a consensus.
- 2:58The untitled album is number one, not only blank album, but possibly
- 3:02the best album. Anybody's Biten and Trump agreed on this, Yeah they did.
- 3:07Yeah, it was really refreshing. It was to see them really meet
- 3:10on those party lines, I mean over blink on. Donald threw a couple
- 3:15jabs in of course, but at the least they agreed. I don't want
- 3:21to know that are going on. I'll just stay over here in my little
- 3:23bubble. This got my attention, though. There's a restaurant in Italy that
- 3:27is gonna get people a free bottle of wine if you just give up your
- 3:29phone at the door. No that I mean, listen, dinner without phones.
- 3:31It's it's optimal. I mean something to be said for this. I
- 3:35have to maybe I'll hit up the restaurant. We're going to Italy in August.
- 3:38You know, just got my passport, my first ever passport, in
- 3:42the mail. In my god, it's the worst photo you've ever seen.
- 3:45It's pathetic. We were just going through a bunch of things we were looking
- 3:50for, like social Security cards, and I saw my passport because I haven't
- 3:53renewed it because like we have we have my husband and I both they aren't
- 3:55renewed because we haven't gone on a trip. And we were looking at our
- 3:59picture because this was like when I was previous life, all of it.
- 4:02I'm like, I'm like, who is this girl? Yeah? Who?
- 4:06Dis just wildly so much. I mean, you seemed really consistent in your
- 4:12appearance over there, you'd be surprised you on the It's like they took a
- 4:15bucket of grease and dumped it over my head. Really yeah, I mean,
- 4:19oh, my shiny, I just looked greasy because I remember the day
- 4:24I was wearing a hat and they made me take the hat off so that
- 4:26the hair was horrendous. Did you not realize you couldn't wear a hat?
- 4:30I don't know what I was thinking, just didn't care. And the nice
- 4:31thing is a good thing with your passport, you'll have that for a whole
- 4:33lot of yours. I think it's ten. Yeah, that's the nice thing.
- 4:36But if this restaurant is doing that free bottle of wine for simply putting
- 4:40your phone away for forty five minutes, it's like you're gonna be giving away
- 4:43a lot of bottles of wine. Who would go there and go? No?
- 4:46I couldn't. I couldn't. Couldn't give my phone up for a free
- 4:48bottle of wine. Yeah, I mean unless it was like an emergency.
- 4:51I feel like you'd be in the running because I don't know. I don't
- 4:54know what you like more being on your phone or drinking wine. It's a
- 4:59toss up. What would you say of calling me right out? No,
- 5:02I'd be able to give up my I'd be able to give up my phone
- 5:05for the wine. Of course, are you kidding? There's your hands like
- 5:09an in the morning, Big nainety eight point seven. I saw that there's
- 5:12a college, American University, which just sounds so generic, but well that's
- 5:15the name of it. The name of the university is American University. But
- 5:18they're offering they're offering a new course this fall called swift Anomics. So I've
- 5:26heard courses before about Taylor Swift and I kind of laughed about it, thinking
- 5:28it was a joke. But yeah, they've all been about like her writing
- 5:31or just like sociology, but this one is specifically about the economics of it.
- 5:35No, she reached billionaire status recently, and so they're going to study
- 5:39like her effect on the concert industry, specifically like the Ticketmaster ordeal and just
- 5:44the Eras tour the money it made, which it just it's wild. Does
- 5:48it need to be an entire semester class. Probably not. It sounds pretty
- 5:51useless to me, especially considering the money people pay for college. Yeah,
- 5:56I mean, I guess if it is the hook to be like, hey,
- 5:58this is an economics class, but we're gonna call it swiftnomics, so
- 6:01you actually sign up to be a part of it, right, I mean,
- 6:03kind of a little trickery, But it got me thinking about the most
- 6:08useless college classes that are out there that maybe you took in college, because
- 6:12if you went to college, you know there are definitely a lot of them
- 6:15that just aren't necessary seven on one two eight h one ninety eight seven.
- 6:17For example, I took a swimming class in college, which I wouldn't even
- 6:21say it was useless because I was not a good swimmer, not saying I
- 6:24am now, but I definitely like it's a great workout. I took bad
- 6:28a bad minten class. Didn't need to do that for three n You should
- 6:31probably preface why you were taking these courses. Well, you weren't just like
- 6:34going to school for badminton, No, not specifically, but I was taking
- 6:40a physical education as a major for a while. Yeah, And so there
- 6:43was a lot of random like there was a dance class, but it was
- 6:45a stupid so one of my when I first entered college, I my major
- 6:49was theater and my minor was dance until my dad like sat down and had
- 6:54like, hey, hey, that's the dumbest thing of the world, like
- 6:57what are you doing here? What and Mike, well, okay, fine,
- 7:00broadcasting, I'll go for that. But one of the most useless classes
- 7:03I took hilarious because I do it now, but yoga. I thought it'd
- 7:08be just like a shoe in an easy course. Ended up getting a D
- 7:11in the class because I didn't know that first of all, you probably should
- 7:15show up. Second of all, like she was handing out paper, she
- 7:18was taking it so serious. So at the very end it was like,
- 7:20God, tell us what like a vinyasa and all these different things. Burg
- 7:25I was like, uh uh, failed, it's amazing, how well you
- 7:28know, they have to find something to talk about Kansas b yoga. I
- 7:30took a coaching wrestling class at one point you messa aced that. Of course.
- 7:35Of course, got a lot of comments here. Somebody said art appreciation,
- 7:39and that just brought me right back. It was a course you had
- 7:41to take at MSUM. I was lucky enough to be admitted to that prestigious
- 7:46university. Why do I feel like you were doing that when we were still
- 7:48working together in radio. Well, I was doing this show, yeah,
- 7:50and then going to class in the afternoon. So can you imagine getting up
- 7:54three forty five in the morning too, this whole morning so thing working and
- 7:57then having a one pm class at MSUM in a dark theater where all it
- 8:01was was a projector with a bunch of different paintings and art pieces that the
- 8:05professor would go through, and this one called Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
- 8:11I was catching so many z's I slept more in that class than I did
- 8:13at night. Really yeah, fun fact, Okay, question for you,
- 8:16what class were you taking when you kept taking pictures of us? Like you
- 8:20would just like come in and be like you'd like last last minute, Like
- 8:22hey, Amanda, can you just like it was pathetic, you'd like make
- 8:26me go to the side. You're like, no, I need like a
- 8:28more of a portrait file mixing. It's just so weird because again I was
- 8:31in communications, had to take a photography class, so college photography never went
- 8:37never did my assignments on time. But sometimes I would last minute, just
- 8:39have to take some photos. Literally, there was one project where I took
- 8:43photos with my iPhone on the way into class. Wow, turned it,
- 8:48put a black and white filter on it, and turn it in as a
- 8:52project. Meanwhile, people had spent weeks, you know, getting awesome stuff.
- 8:56Somebody is chiming in here on Facebook saying keyboarding. That was like a
- 9:01fun class for me. Did you you had keyboarding? And I would assume
- 9:03in high school scene, if you could type as fast as you could remember
- 9:07the games, they had fun. Yeah, Yeah, that was that was
- 9:09kind of fun. History of Baseball was a class Sarah Nelson took on her
- 9:13Facebook page. You think Sarah is still using our history of baseball experience?
- 9:18Ah, that is good. Somebody said they took an intro to computers in
- 9:22two thousand and two, which is just interesting to think because of how quickly
- 9:26it changed. So like everything you learned in a few years was pretty much
- 9:30irrelevant. We're ending with this one, are you ready sure? Jen chiming
- 9:33in most useless class of all time? And I have not heard this.
- 9:37And remember my minor was dance. It was called social dance. What anybody
- 9:41else feeling like? She walked into class, it was like, but you
- 9:45also had to hold the conversation while you dance social dance. It makes sense
- 9:48ta get a man in the morning. Seven. You know what, we're
- 9:52already it's what April like, we're already discussing plans of who we're going to
- 9:56spend the holidays with. You know, which in law are we going to
- 9:58go to? Because you know, it's just it's tough when you're married and
- 10:01you know, like us, for example, we both have divorced parents.
- 10:05So now you're talking about two sides there's four, yeah, and so it's
- 10:07hard to spread the love. But this mom who on TikTok had the gall
- 10:11to post this video is getting some backlash because it shows her and her two
- 10:16sons and they're young, and she said that she has called them Mommy's boys
- 10:20first of all, and said that she's raising her boys to be obsessed with
- 10:24her, so their future wife can't say they're going to her side for the
- 10:28holidays. That's bizarre. Well it's the Internet, but it's bizarre stuff.
- 10:31Also get it. As you know, my mom passed away and every relationship
- 10:37I was in prior because she never met my husband. Right, my mom
- 10:39was very much the like holiday is all in and when she was alive,
- 10:43thankfully, it was a very much a situation where my dad, who lives
- 10:48in Colorado, he is not a holiday guy. Like he is not like
- 10:52you need to be here for Christmas. He's just not. It's like go
- 10:54when you want to, not a big deal, especially when they live like
- 10:58Lauren, my wife's dad lives in Florida, and so it's like we can
- 11:01visit any time, like it doesn't necessarily need to be during the holidays,
- 11:03so it kind of makes it easy. So my mom was very much that
- 11:07person. And when Nick and I got together, I was kind of nervous
- 11:09about it because he had a huge Fourth of July for some reason in both
- 11:13of our families was a big deal and he kind of forg out. He's
- 11:16like, all right, like this is we go to the lake. He's
- 11:20a big Fourth of July. Coy. Yeah, And they all used to
- 11:22go to the river and get together. Thankfully, when we met, like
- 11:24his his sisters stopped going for the Fourth of July a little bit because they
- 11:30have older kids and stuff now, so it kind of faded within. But
- 11:33we have a standing Thanksgiving as his family, and that's when we do Christmas
- 11:37too, so it's nice, but it is interesting to find a balance.
- 11:41How do you get Santa to come early? It's really crazy. It is
- 11:45like a fee, I imagine, right, that's his time off. Santa
- 11:50doesn't Santa doesn't come early. Those are Grandma, Nanny and Poppy and the
- 11:56they are they You said you do Christmas, right, which made me think
- 12:01that Sama would come early, but that would be wild. Yeah, like
- 12:03he actually sends the turkeys. It's crazy turkeys too. So there's elves and
- 12:09then there's turkeys. And if your family has not experienced Santa's turkeys, you
- 12:16gotta love the holiday turkeys are so now do you are those the turkeys you
- 12:20killing? Is Santa sacrificing his own turkeys? No? No, no,
- 12:24no, no, no no no. They just come and visit. Just
- 12:28you're just turkey eggs. So many things in people. There's kids, just
- 12:33Pike and just ras and having a good time. Right, it was a
- 12:37legitimate question about your holiday traditions. We definitely spread the love around to you
- 12:41know, and thankfully I am. One of the things I love about my
- 12:45wife is her parents both live in interesting places, you know what I mean.
- 12:48Like, meanwhile, no offense to Iowa, but your husband's families in
- 12:52Iowa, which is a long drive, and then you get there and it's
- 12:54like, meanwhile, my wife is from Duluth, which is like just a
- 12:58lovely trip, you know, to go there, and her dad lives in
- 13:01Orlando, Florida. So it's just like, you know, got the lottery
- 13:03there. Every was gonna say you scored the jackpot, but I do.
- 13:07It's crossed my mind. I know Bricks is only three and a half years
- 13:09old, but kind of lady is he gonna fight or like a significant other
- 13:13where you just go, gosh, what if he what if he marries into
- 13:18a monster in law who doesn't or like his girlfriend? Just I can't imagine.
- 13:24I can't imagine the experience he's gonna have with you as his mom.
- 13:28It's gonna be wild. What a lucky dog and Amanda in the morning on
- 13:33seven. You're always looking for cute date ideas, aren't you. I mean
- 13:37all the time. We could all spice it up a little bit rather than
- 13:41just going out to eat. Well, there's a trend you may have seen
- 13:43this on TikTok that's called paint each other And it's a no horrible thing that
- 13:48you and your partner can do where you basically take an hour to paint each
- 13:52other's portraits. So you sit face to face, he eats got your canvas?
- 13:56Oh, okay, I'm going on Titanic style, like that's what's in
- 14:00I had you. I'm laying on the couch as he's just painting this.
- 14:05I don't know if i'd want a painting of that of myself. I don't.
- 14:09I don't think i'd love my wife's painting entertaining. It could be super
- 14:16entertaining, but that's something I'm gonna hang in the foyer. Interesting. So
- 14:20basically you sit there for an hour, you paint each other, and obviously,
- 14:22unless you're some sort of artist, the paintings aren't going to be good.
- 14:26And then you do the big reveal at the end and you turn them
- 14:28around and everybody laughs or gets mad and about how hideous their face looks or
- 14:33how big there my ears? That big? Honey? Oh that's see.
- 14:37This actually sounds really entertaining. Are you bit? Are you an artist?
- 14:39No, not even a little bit. I've told you that. We were
- 14:41actually just talking about classes that you weren't good at. I had to take
- 14:45summer school I believe it was seventh grade going into eighth grade for art because
- 14:50I had to paint or draw this bird, and I just I could not
- 14:54a zero concept do it. Without knowing any other information, I got a
- 14:58feeling that it had more to do with you just no participating. No,
- 15:01because come on, seventh grade, trust me, literally show up and you're
- 15:03not going to have to go to summer school that's had a hard art teacher.
- 15:07Yeah. Yeah, I'm not making that up. I think that just
- 15:11knowing you, I feel like there might have been maybe some attitude issues.
- 15:15No, maybe you skipping class Nope, talking to your friends, maybe playing
- 15:20brick Breaker on your Nokia cell phone, not rolling it out busted. Get
- 15:24Amanda in the morning, Come on, get up, Amanda Stills. Let's
- 15:30see. Let's see. These two are adorable, Nelly and Ashanti. They
- 15:37not only are engaged, but they are having a baby together. She didn't
- 15:41confirm it on Instagram and this is just an adorable video. Yeah, she's
- 15:46getting ready backstage for a big show and then then this happens. I show
- 15:56you, I don't need about nine months cool. I was just a look
- 16:00on her face. She's like, and here's the pregnancy test. So congrats
- 16:03to them. They're so cute. Yeah, I love that. To the
- 16:06big powerhouses from the early to mid two thousands, just grew up with just
- 16:11I don't know. Every time you hear their music, yes, brings you
- 16:15right back. And she's forty three. I don't know if it's our first
- 16:17child or not, but good for her, good for Nelly too. So
- 16:18yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I hang on one second, Yeah,
- 16:22I'm right. Did you see this? Jason Kelsey? He lost his
- 16:26Super Bowl ring in a pool of chili? And I'm like, okay,
- 16:30I read the headline because I didn't watch the entire podcast, kind of faded
- 16:34a little from keeping up with it during in the football season. Oh yeah
- 16:37it trust me. This time of year football is like I stopped listening to
- 16:41any packer podcasts, So I was like, what do you mean a pool
- 16:45of chili? But literally, this is what happened. But I legitimately lost
- 16:48my super Bowl ring in this event. They could not find it. Searching
- 16:52through the chili to try and find the sock that had my super Bowl ring
- 16:56in it, we have still yet to find it. All of this stuff
- 17:00has been thrown away, so I think we can safely assume that my super
- 17:03Bowl ring is now in a landfill, uh, someplace in the Cincinnati Tri
- 17:07state area. We've already put the insurance claim in. Hilarious, but you
- 17:11know that there are going to be people grabbing metal detectors whatever and going out
- 17:15to the landfill and trying to find this ring. Okay, really, why
- 17:19wouldn't you? Why do I feel like locally somebody lost something and they did
- 17:23this well? Yeah, crazy. I want to say it was a ring
- 17:26like a wedding ring, because you know, I'm not saying it's not possible.
- 17:29But even if you did get it, I guess you just have to
- 17:32be a big eagle span. I don't know how much you could sell a
- 17:33super Bowl ring for Yeah, I don't know. Or you could be a
- 17:36good person in return it. I think that's probably what they would do,
- 17:40you would assume, because then it'd be I mean, you're probably thinking it's
- 17:42Jason Kelsey, You're getting some sort of rowar. Right. You've ever been
- 17:45to a landfill? I don't think so? Pretty good time, is it?
- 17:49Yeah? What have you done? There? Always to go? You
- 17:52know, my dad always had materials. We had to dump the letter for
- 17:56some reason. And I remember it's like hang out. I remember I remember
- 18:00one time. This is a quick aside but made me. I think my
- 18:03brother told the story at the funeral. But we had a TV we were
- 18:06trying to dispose of. So we brought it to this landfill outside of Glendon
- 18:08and they're like, no, you can't. What is that a TV?
- 18:11You can't bring that in here. And so we went back home and then
- 18:15my dad gave us a sledgehammer and just said to break the TV up in
- 18:18a bunch of pieces. So we did, and we drove back and they
- 18:21looked in the trailer. They're like, all right, all good, No,
- 18:26nice little dad. Yeah, valuable life lesson from dad. Oh that's
- 18:30great, all right. Swifties, of course, are losing their minds because
- 18:33t minus some some odd hours before midnight till it's midnight, we got what
- 18:40twelve plus four. I'm sure there's like a Taylor Swift ticker for people going,
- 18:44oh my gosh, I can't wait to hear the Tortured Poets Department album
- 18:47that will be released, like I had mentioned at midnight, but there is
- 18:51maybe a leak already. So there was a Google drive link. It's all
- 18:55over social media has seventeen different songs, and some are saying, well,
- 18:59we don't know if it's real or if it's an AI created something, which
- 19:02is just wild that we're in this time that even though swifties are going,
- 19:04I don't know, but it is, it's it's it seems like she's released
- 19:10a lot of music, and she has over the last like four years.
- 19:11You know, there's like the two albums in the one year basically, and
- 19:15then Midnights and now this. I just worry that sometimes there's just too much.
- 19:18Well then it's interesting because she's already and maybe it's just Trav saying it,
- 19:22but there's been a lot of speculation she's been working continuously on more music.
- 19:26Yeah, and then some of it's about their relationship, but maybe she
- 19:30has kind of an endgame where once you know, and I'm acting as though
- 19:36there's just a lot of speculation that they are supposed to There was a rumor
- 19:38that they were getting ready to move in together, like finally pulling the plug
- 19:42on that. What if you get married, I mean, there is gonna
- 19:45come a point where you're gonna just want to step away and have kids and
- 19:48have that normalacy. He's supposed to be retiring here in a couple of years.
- 19:52But a good time to go away because this eras tour, this this
- 19:55whole era that she's in, it's a lot. So it would be a
- 19:57natural time to like step away, let people miss you, and then years
- 20:02later come back and have this massive coming. And if she's thinking, I
- 20:04mean financially, I mean she's only a billionaire, right, So we're trying
- 20:07to get to that trilly which is the goal for So if she releases this
- 20:12now and she's working on all this, then when she has kids and she
- 20:15can release that album and probably be financially stable, exactly. That's the thing.
- 20:19You gotta get that trilly bike it a minute in the morning, Big
- 20:22ninety eight point seven. You want suspect a thing when you hear that telephone
- 20:29room by s freend fucking this lesson by spread son, you want to arrested
- 20:38by friend. So we got this inquiry. Is that the right word?
- 20:41Inquiry? Inquiry? Yeah, so it's just it's a it's a weird word,
- 20:45but yes, incorrect. So it was a husband who'd reached out and
- 20:48inquired and he has a wife and a lovely son they share together. Now
- 20:52the wife is very very proud of this son. And she happy, you
- 20:55know, like a lot of moms, thinks that her boy can do no
- 20:56wrong. Oh right already, Oh boy, hikes Frank, here we go.
- 21:07Hello, Hey, we gotta talk. Who is this? This is
- 21:12Roger, you know down the street. Hey, listen, your boy keeps
- 21:17coming over here and peeing on my gnomes, and today I'm putting an end
- 21:22to it. Okay, wait, I'm sorry, don't play dumb with me.
- 21:27This is Roger, you know, the big brown house on the corner,
- 21:32the one with the lawn gnomes. Uh okay, Hey, and you're
- 21:36saying my son is doing what been on them? Okay, sir, I
- 21:41think you have the wrong kid. My son has not peeed on any lawns.
- 21:47Oh so now I'm a liar. No, I'm not saying. I
- 21:49just think you're very mistaken, I you know. But just listen, lady,
- 21:56I watch with my own two eyeballs as your son dropped his truck houses
- 22:00and turned my precious gnomes into some ballpark urinal and I will not tolerate this.
- 22:07Okay, all right, Look, Slair, I have no clue what
- 22:08you're talking about, but I know the fact that my son has not been
- 22:12to your house or would he ever do anything like that. He's a good
- 22:15boy. What are you on? Small? Yeah, people small kids like
- 22:22that. Don't talk about kids seeing creepy. I don't call Okay, I
- 22:26know good Okay, you're just a creep. Stop what is happening? Brand
- 22:37what I don't need to get to upset? Listen, nobody peed on anything
- 22:41that I know of. This is Pike and Mandy in the morning, a
- 22:44big ninety eight point seven. You're a victim of Pike's prank. Oh my
- 22:47goodness, that didn't take long to get these lit. You don't mess up
- 22:52people's Wispike, No, I went I was that wasn't even that was like
- 22:56not full mom up there that. My heart is still racing. I'm still
- 23:02kind of mad at you. Actually, And you know what's so funny.
- 23:04I kind of figured this would happen because it was actually your husband, Kevin,
- 23:07who reached out to us thinking it'd be funny to prank call you because
- 23:11he knows how protective you are of your son, who, what I'm told,
- 23:14is a very good boy. Oh my gosh, okay, Oh he
- 23:18doesn't even know what he just started like, Oh my gosh, that is
- 23:23too funny. I guess any time you want to return the favor, that
- 23:26would be great. I'm gonna start seeming Yeah, I mean, you're sure
- 23:30he wouldn't be peeing on any one homes? Can we really rule that out
- 23:34taking a manna in the morning. It's a sticky situation. Can you imagine
- 23:41this wife, her and her husband, they've been together sometime now, and
- 23:45they just are finding out they're having a baby boy. Well, when they
- 23:48first got together, they were discussing names for potential babies down the road as
- 23:52couples. Do you know nothing in the plans. But the husband, who's
- 23:56name, by the way, for this purpose is John Smith the third.
- 24:00Okay, so he's the third of his name, which is not John Smith,
- 24:03but whatever it is. So he said that if he had a boy,
- 24:06it would mean a lot to him to continue the tradition and name the
- 24:10boy John Smith. And honestly, if I'm in a relationship with Nick Linder
- 24:15the fifth, yeah, I'm expecting what you just don't you just expect it.
- 24:19And I don't even know if there'd be a conversation. It would be
- 24:22highly likely unless you just wanted to ruin your family, I would think,
- 24:26and she's all about it right away. She's like, it was just cute
- 24:29that, you know, most guys don't seem to care as much about something
- 24:32like that, but this guy really did. So she was on board.
- 24:34Well, they get home from the ultrasound finding out they're having a boy.
- 24:40Would suddenly she's kind of realizing that she's cooled on the idea a little bit
- 24:44that now that it's real, now there's actually a baby inside of her time.
- 24:48Yeah, you don't feel like a John Smith to me. It's the
- 24:51old yeah about that. So she wants to know if she's you know,
- 24:55in the right to be able to switch I mean obviously to your baby too.
- 24:57Heck, you're the one cook in it. You got to say,
- 25:02of course you have a say. But for me, if it's if there's
- 25:06a passion in a family situation here, you ben, you just you go
- 25:11with what's the alternative? What silly name? Are you going to come up
- 25:12with? What meaningless name that probably every other kid has? You know what
- 25:17I mean, You're right, like, just do it. Just there is
- 25:18something about the meaningful name, like there is something a part of all of
- 25:22our kids' names that are family related. Oh yeah, yeah, so Sydney
- 25:26Briggs. Uh no, so first names, those are just our choices.
- 25:30Yeah, we've got an investment in Briggs and Stratton. No is that what
- 25:33it's called? No idea? What is that? Some I think that's a
- 25:37brand anyway. Uh, lou Anne is Sydney's middle name, and so it
- 25:42was Mary lou That is Nick's mom. My mom was Barbara Ann, and
- 25:47my grandma's grandma who passed was Janice Lou so it was lou Anne. Like
- 25:51we got all of them in one name. Nice. And then Briggs Detton
- 25:56wild. I know, Denton Denton not Denton Denton. Denton is a family
- 26:03name on Nick's side, and it's a middle name for a lot of the
- 26:07guys. Nice Okay, So yeah, middle names definitely are sort of there
- 26:11for that right or also you could just do something totally silly, but it's
- 26:15a middle name, so who cares. Like, my middle name is the
- 26:18same as my dad's middle name, which is the same as his dad's middle
- 26:19name. I think that's great. So Lauren has accepted if we did have
- 26:22a child, if it was a male, like that's probably middle name is
- 26:26going to be Phillip, which you know, I'm not even crazy about is
- 26:29a name, but it's like, but it's a cool at least, you
- 26:32know, but it's a tradition that you would carry on a legacy or however
- 26:36you whatever. It's at least a story. It's better than just some random
- 26:40name where it's like, oh, well, how'd you come up with that?
- 26:41I don't know. We liked how it sounded. My vote is that
- 26:45she needs to allow this to continue. Yeah, because if not, if
- 26:48you're really going to put a hard stance on this, that just kind of
- 26:51says a lot about you, I think. Anyway, I don't know anything
- 26:53about her other than this, but I'm definitely judging. And that's okay.
- 26:56Yeah, and that's coming from big Philly style over here. Okay, Amanda
- 27:02in the morning on SIG seven. Here's what I wouldn't do is use a
- 27:06website called Ashley Madison. If you heard of this, of course, it's
- 27:10been around for years now. This is the website where adulterers gather. I
- 27:14thought they shut this down. I just watched a documentary about the rise and
- 27:17fall of Ashley Madison. Well apparently it's still a thing because they've conducted a
- 27:22survey of their users. Now their slogan, by the way, life is
- 27:25short, have an affair. So they conducted the survey of the members and
- 27:29they asked them questions like, would you be more willing to cheat on your
- 27:33significant other or cheat on your taxes? What do you think? Eighty seven
- 27:38percent of the people surveyed would rather cheat on their partner. I guess that's
- 27:44why they're there, Like, you're already doing it. Clearly, don't have
- 27:48a contect. If I'm standing in the donut shop and they do a survey
- 27:52of would you rather eat a donut or an apple, It's like, well,
- 27:56you're asking the round guy, what do you think I'm doing here?
- 27:59You know? So? Yeah, I mean the sample is definitely a little
- 28:02skewed. But then also they went on to say, like, would you
- 28:06rather have an affair on your partner or vote for the opposite political party?
- 28:10Ninety rather cheat on their party? Yeah, gosh, A staggering eighty nine
- 28:15percent of the members would rather cheat on their partner than on their real estate
- 28:18agent. You have you ever cheated on your real estate agent? I don't
- 28:22have one. Yeah, it's back. It's basically I don't know, Like
- 28:25just you buy a house with one and then when it comes time to buy
- 28:27another house, you go to somebody else. I don't know. Also,
- 28:30we're dealing with probably a different lifestyle of these people, the amount of money,
- 28:33what they're doing, like all of that, just in general multiple property
- 28:37situation. Yeah, so it's like cheating on your taxes. That's like a
- 28:41jail time and then good luck cheating on your spouse in jail. What.
- 28:45Yeah, you know what, this is probably unlikely. I don't know if
- 28:49you get a conjugal visit. I don't know if you get it. I
- 28:52don't know if you have a choice. Sometimes from the footage I see
