- 1:01Speaker 3: That's an old Chris Berman line. Do you know who
- 1:03Speaker 3: Chris Berman is? Yes?
- 1:05Speaker 1: I do know who.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Chris Berman is the fastest men in football.
- 1:09Speaker 3: It's probably you for knowing that he'll always like in
- 1:11Speaker 3: the holiday season. He's the first to wish you a
- 1:14Speaker 3: happy Halloween. He's the last to ish you Happy New Year.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I like that gimmick that he has.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I do too. What I like about him too? Is
- 1:23Speaker 2: that where everybody else in his career or what am
- 1:29Speaker 2: I trying to say?
- 1:30Speaker 3: Like sportscasters, sports journalists in that universe, in that universe
- 1:35Speaker 3: very sharp.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I imagine sharply dressed, extremely expensive looking suits, and that
- 1:42Speaker 2: dude rolls in like I'm like, ah, I can relate
- 1:46Speaker 2: to him because I can probably go I can afford
- 1:48Speaker 2: that same suit he's wearing.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Man, he looks like he smells like meat and alcohol
- 1:53Speaker 3: at all times.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you know that snls get you know where the
- 1:56Speaker 2: boys would sit around talking about tull bars. You know,
- 1:59Speaker 2: he could roll right into that. I'm surprised they never
- 2:01Speaker 2: tapped him actually to do that with them.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Chris Bermany is still around.
- 2:06Speaker 2: He does that, Yeah, crushing it.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Caw, what do you do? What was that?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:10Speaker 1: What?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I have no idea what that is? Sounds like sleigh bells.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It does sound like sleigh bells. Is it like?
- 2:17Speaker 5: Oh, oh my god?
- 2:24Speaker 4: Oh boys and girls, have you been good to bad
- 2:27Speaker 4: this year? Oh?
- 2:29Speaker 3: We are going to find out ladies and gentlemen in
- 2:32Speaker 3: our studio. A special guest.
- 2:37Speaker 4: From the North.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You smell Santah with.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Lots of gifts for the good little boys and girls.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Santa is gonna talk into his microphone. He has two
- 2:46Speaker 3: game bags that are very bloody.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You got a spring bear in there.
- 2:50Speaker 2: You have a lot of explaining to do, being as
- 2:53Speaker 2: the guy that rolls around a bunch of reindeer.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Oh you have bloody game bags.
- 2:58Speaker 4: These are this is the blood of mule deer and
- 3:01Speaker 4: white tailed deer. I wouldn't harm a rein deer. They're
- 3:05Speaker 4: incredibly important to my operation.
- 3:07Speaker 3: So Santa has two white game bags that have some
- 3:10Speaker 3: old blood on them, chunks of meat and chunks of meat.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I miss that these have not got a
- 3:17Speaker 3: proper washing yet, have they Santa?
- 3:19Speaker 4: No? No?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Do they not have bleach at the north pole?
- 3:23Speaker 4: And then I roll right into this thing. This gig
- 3:26Speaker 4: keeps me real busy.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Uh huh. So Santa has brought with him it looks
- 3:31Speaker 3: like some gifts as well as a few guests. We
- 3:33Speaker 3: have Brody Henderson and Corey Halkins who just appeared in
- 3:37Speaker 3: the studio, and I believe Santa is now going to
- 3:40Speaker 3: pass out some gifts and we don't know who they're from.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Yes, that's right. The elves have been hard at work.
- 3:48Speaker 4: This one is for Spencer new.
- 3:52Speaker 3: So this this I believe is probably the biggest gift
- 3:56Speaker 3: in your game bag? Is that correct?
- 3:57Speaker 2: I believe so those are bottomless game But is it
- 4:00Speaker 2: the heavy?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Is it the heavy now in Santa's experience, is it
- 4:04Speaker 1: the size of the gift that matters?
- 4:06Speaker 4: Oh, it's just what's inside? Uh huh okay, gosh fits
- 4:11Speaker 4: in a tiny little envelope.
- 4:12Speaker 3: The it's wrapped in grinch paper and then it oh, okay,
- 4:16Speaker 3: here look at this, ladies and gentlemen. It has my
- 4:20Speaker 3: name on it with a piece of paper that looks
- 4:22Speaker 3: like it was written something about uh FedEx returns. And
- 4:29Speaker 3: underneath that it has Krinn's name.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Which gives away the whole bit.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Who knows the whole bit?
- 4:35Speaker 2: Okay, well, no, we don't know necessarily if that was
- 4:38Speaker 2: from Karn it maybe used to.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Be for Corint Right, get interesting twist?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Did Santa bring a pocket knife?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Or maybe it's a pocket knife in there?
- 4:50Speaker 4: I don't have pockets in this.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I don't think it can be a meat eater employee
- 4:54Speaker 1: and not carry a bout.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I have just opened my gift to reveal a couple
- 5:00Speaker 3: of what would you'd call slides like the sandal slides,
- 5:05Speaker 3: but instead they are large mouthed bass. Those are going
- 5:08Speaker 3: to make some great camp shoes there. This is beautiful shoes.
- 5:12Speaker 3: They could be what what if me and Karin didn't
- 5:15Speaker 3: wear the same sized shoes? Whoever gave this gift, then what.
- 5:19Speaker 4: They wear an uncanny resemblance to that singing bass that
- 5:23Speaker 4: you have outside of your office.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yeah, the Billie Largemouth bass. I'll have you know, I
- 5:27Speaker 3: wear size fourteen boots, so I don't know if these
- 5:31Speaker 3: are going to fit me or not. They may have,
- 5:35Speaker 3: they may.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Have what Christmas Morning is all the time, Well, it's
- 5:39Speaker 1: not exactly what.
- 5:40Speaker 3: These are beautiful. I love that. I appreciate whoever gave
- 5:46Speaker 3: me this. Now here's what happened. I had to tell
- 5:48Speaker 3: everyone who they needed to bring their gifts for, so
- 5:50Speaker 3: I know who this came from. The other folks can
- 5:53Speaker 3: guess though, who gave me this gift. Didn't even know Karanta,
- 5:58Speaker 3: not Krinne, not Santa to not fill again a couple
- 6:02Speaker 3: of large mouthed bass slides like Corey. What's our pool
- 6:06Speaker 3: of people to pick from? Everybody went in the room, Williams,
- 6:10Speaker 3: Corey Caulkins.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Is a beautiful gift.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I'll also have you know that when we talked about
- 6:18Speaker 3: this segment. Corey said he was going to regift this
- 6:21Speaker 3: in our upcoming all company gift exchange. Is that still
- 6:24Speaker 3: the plan?
- 6:25Speaker 4: Nope?
- 6:25Speaker 3: Those are yours now, man, I sure hope they fit.
- 6:27Speaker 3: If not, you can put them on your hands and
- 6:29Speaker 3: you know, have him as a backup paddle for sure.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Oh that's a good idea too. There we go, Thank
- 6:34Speaker 3: you Corey. That that is a perfect gift exchange gift. Yes, yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 3: yes she will. All right, Santa has got out his
- 6:43Speaker 3: next gift.
- 6:44Speaker 4: This next gift is for Ryan, oh cal callahan.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Is it a Is it a picture frame? It's not
- 6:56Speaker 1: a bathroom scale or something?
- 6:59Speaker 3: You know that's always a great Christmas gift. Oh, it's
- 7:06Speaker 3: a butcher's board.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Nice cutting board that looks homemade. That looks great.
- 7:13Speaker 4: You'd better be homemade because there is a twenty five
- 7:15Speaker 4: dollars limit on the cost of these gifts for the
- 7:18Speaker 4: terms of Barbary. Now.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Oh cheddar wurst from Mats. That's good stuff.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That kind of joy.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Who the gift was, Well, I don't think that.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I mean people drive back and forth. I mean it wasn't.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Phil.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I guess I would.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I would imagine this, okay, but I.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Know, don't put me into a bucket, Spencer. I didn't
- 7:48Speaker 1: notice that till now. I don't know.
- 7:51Speaker 3: On the on the blots that cal received, it says
- 7:55Speaker 3: processed for Brody Henderson.
- 7:59Speaker 1: We love that bro.
- 8:00Speaker 3: We solved the crime.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That is that your Is that your boys mule ear?
- 8:07Speaker 6: Nope, that's the elk I shot last year?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, cleaning out the old freez.
- 8:15Speaker 6: We have the body makes those cut boards.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Sweet Trace might have an up.
- 8:24Speaker 7: He's been eating some of the dried meat from this bag.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's what dogs do, YO next, Thank Santa.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Wow? Is that a candle?
- 8:34Speaker 1: It's gotta be h.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It feels like a small dish of some sort that looks.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Like a man wrapped it. I guess a small.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Dog bolt something almost fell out of.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I like it.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I like it.
- 8:49Speaker 8: It's a little uh, it's a little kit of things
- 8:51Speaker 8: that a man like myself might need, like what Dr
- 8:56Speaker 8: Broner unsaned excuse me, unscented organic magic balm for hands,
- 9:02Speaker 8: face and body, Dutch tape, uh, super glue.
- 9:09Speaker 2: And a lighter and a lighter that works. And the
- 9:12Speaker 2: lighter's got a little hint. I think maybe what's the
- 9:18Speaker 2: hint looks like? Can you see what's on it. It's
- 9:21Speaker 2: a teaky drink drink, So I'm gonna have to guess
- 9:26Speaker 2: that my man Phil put this together for me.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Huell Giannis, you would be incorrect.
- 9:32Speaker 1: They threw me off.
- 9:33Speaker 3: What's your next guess?
- 9:36Speaker 1: God, cal yeplo.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Cal Are these things you found this morning in your
- 9:43Speaker 3: juncture his.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Wilderness sur Bible? Kid? No, it's all It's all brand new.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I had to take that it looks super glue out
- 9:51Speaker 1: of the packaging than to make it all fit together.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But I'm not I don't like gifts for the most part.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But this is this said practical thing. You're not gonna
- 10:03Speaker 1: be like, oh, here's just extra stuff in the house.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Listen, my wife gets upset with me because I have
- 10:09Speaker 2: a running list on my phone. You guys can if
- 10:12Speaker 2: you sneak into my phone, you might see your name
- 10:14Speaker 2: might pop up. Because if during the course of the year,
- 10:17Speaker 2: all sudden I'm like, oh, Santa really was interested in X,
- 10:23Speaker 2: and I'll make a little note and then when Christmas
- 10:25Speaker 2: comes around, I give that gift and it's from the heart,
- 10:29Speaker 2: not because I had to give a gift, and it
- 10:31Speaker 2: ends up being extra stuff.
- 10:33Speaker 1: In the house.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Well, you really hyped up. Whatever person is going to
- 10:38Speaker 3: receive a gift from Yanni then this year.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Oh it's nice too. Is like, if this I thought
- 10:43Speaker 1: it through, makes it to Yannis's desk and sits there
- 10:46Speaker 1: for the rest of the year, it's still a valuable
- 10:48Speaker 1: thing to happen. If it makes it as far as
- 10:52Speaker 1: the truck and just sits there forever, it's great.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Let's just hope it doesn't wind up on the free table.
- 11:00Speaker 1: That would be rude.
- 11:01Speaker 3: What in this bloody game.
- 11:03Speaker 7: Bagg This This gift has the initial C on it,
- 11:09Speaker 7: which I.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Understand to mean Corey Coulkins hot dog very aughtn't here
- 11:21Speaker 4: undressed for the North Pole.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Santa when you were a little kid, did you also laugh?
- 11:27Speaker 2: You're in that same.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Yes, it is much more disturbing.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Before I reached.
- 11:33Speaker 6: This is going to be really he just came out
- 11:35Speaker 6: of the womb looking like that.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Well, I am an ancient being, I think according.
- 11:40Speaker 2: To the I've got a couple of really good looking books.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I believe they're Dungeons and Dragons.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks like.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's part of a series.
- 11:52Speaker 5: I'm hoping there will be more because I could myself
- 11:54Speaker 5: reading through these pretty quickly. Are you a big d
- 11:57Speaker 5: and D guy negative ghost writer. So here's the thing, Corey,
- 12:04Speaker 5: Santa you don't care to explain You're You're very modest
- 12:07Speaker 5: about it, but I'm sure people know that you're a
- 12:09Speaker 5: world class hunting guide, Corey. I mean, everyone says how
- 12:12Speaker 5: much they love to go out with you. But one
- 12:13Speaker 5: thing you might not know about is a different kind
- 12:15Speaker 5: of game. Those are mythical beasts. So if you ever
- 12:19Speaker 5: want to expand your clientele, kind of add new skills
- 12:21Speaker 5: to your to your set, you know, I thought these
- 12:23Speaker 5: books might help you track these you know, well these animals, yes.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Dragon buy these books for my friend Corey or were
- 12:30Speaker 4: they just on your shelf and new gifted them?
- 12:32Speaker 7: They feel new out of convenience.
- 12:34Speaker 3: They're Chris, but I'm the first one to open them.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Thank you, Phil.
- 12:37Speaker 3: You're welcome, Corey. Now, he was dressed as a wizard
- 12:40Speaker 3: for Halloween, so I can understand why someone would give
- 12:43Speaker 3: you the D and D book. Are there wizards in
- 12:45Speaker 3: D and D?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, big big part of D and D. That
- 12:49Speaker 3: was a perfect gift then for Corey. Yeah, my kids
- 12:52Speaker 3: really into dragons at this point.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Well, I'm trying to.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Do in doctor date Marshalls please, if you got yourself
- 12:58Speaker 5: a drag and you could fly in to some landlocked public.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Oh wow, drop into some blm. That's how Santa kills
- 13:05Speaker 3: all his.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Never have to worry about having a big lighter on you.
- 13:09Speaker 3: What else is Santa Go.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Gift is for Phil Taylor the engineer, Phil the Engineer, right.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Christian name fille.
- 13:22Speaker 4: A very long list of names each winter, so it's
- 13:26Speaker 4: important that on.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Particular, Yeah, a lot of Phil Taylor's out there. I'll
- 13:30Speaker 3: also have our listeners know that Santa has been in
- 13:33Speaker 3: this suit and doing this voice for the entire hour
- 13:36Speaker 3: leading up to the show.
- 13:38Speaker 1: What other voice would you do?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Spencer?
- 13:40Speaker 3: That's right, Phil. We can't see what you're opening, so
- 13:43Speaker 3: you got I have it on the.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Camera Star Wars Puzzle and look at this is great artwork.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Good boy, heavens, that's two thousand pieces.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That's a big boy you've got.
- 13:57Speaker 5: You've got a lot of the films represented, including some
- 14:00Speaker 5: of the prequels.
- 14:01Speaker 3: This is fantastic.
- 14:03Speaker 5: I have no idea who could have got this for me,
- 14:05Speaker 5: because honestly, it could be any of you.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it was Spencer Newheart.
- 14:10Speaker 3: It was not me, Okay, but I liked that you
- 14:13Speaker 3: thought it was me? Was it Santa Claus?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Yes, indeed.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Himself. I'm so lucky.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yes, what I realized how incredibly expensive Lego toys are.
- 14:27Speaker 7: I switched gears and brought you a puzzle.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Oh that's why that was this morning when you came
- 14:31Speaker 1: into my office, Sands.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I thought I might have given it away by making
- 14:34Speaker 4: casual chit chat.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Not at all. I was caught off guard. Thank you
- 14:38Speaker 3: so much. Is two thousand pieces big?
- 14:40Speaker 1: That's pretty big.
- 14:41Speaker 5: I'd say one thousand is kind of the average, like
- 14:44Speaker 5: like a like a weekend puzzle. Two thousand, I mean
- 14:46Speaker 5: that's that'll keep me busy for a while.
- 14:48Speaker 4: That'll baby sit your kids for a week.
- 14:51Speaker 3: That's much Apprecia gift.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Our next gift is for Brodie Henderson.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Okay, that's got some hef to it.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Santa, get a gift.
- 15:04Speaker 6: More.
- 15:04Speaker 2: You got in there.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It's cold. It came from the North Pole, bro He's
- 15:16Speaker 1: very one.
- 15:18Speaker 3: It's a gift wrapped in as on.
- 15:22Speaker 6: Oh it looks like some ducks.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Oh, some fatty ducks, big fatty ducks.
- 15:33Speaker 6: I'm gonna guess based on someone's recent schedule, it might
- 15:37Speaker 6: have been.
- 15:42Speaker 3: One of these ducks. Tell us about the ducks.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you should open the plastic bag. That was just
- 15:47Speaker 2: the way to transport him from my house here. But uh,
- 15:52Speaker 2: they're extremely prime picked clean, they are ready for the
- 15:57Speaker 2: cast iron skills.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Shot him with one pellet in the head. Ye.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Actually, I'm not that good of a shot, So I
- 16:03Speaker 2: the ones that were donated to me. I chose those
- 16:06Speaker 2: two gifts you with that were shot by better. Better.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that they're all three mallets. I think
- 16:14Speaker 2: there's there's either two hens and a drake or two
- 16:18Speaker 2: drakes and a hen.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, excellent.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Santa doesn't have any ducks in my freezer right now.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Santa's bloody game bags and three Mallard ducks and mule deer.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I believe that that gift exceeds the monetary limits a lot,
- 16:37Speaker 2: right if you could apply but.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Priceless gifts, I think very good gifts.
- 16:44Speaker 2: That all right, you're welcome.
- 16:46Speaker 3: We have one gift left.
- 16:47Speaker 4: This lasts gift is addressed to Randall, which is the
- 16:53Speaker 4: name I've never seen before.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Because he's on your naughty list, right, that's.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Right, that's right, Phil Taylor.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Uh huh, And I don't.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Want to tear this bag. But I can't untie this.
- 17:04Speaker 2: String if you take your gloves off.
- 17:09Speaker 1: No, no, no, he's really committed to the.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Now what do we have here, Well, there's two items,
- 17:18Speaker 4: okay in this bag for Randall.
- 17:22Speaker 3: You don't think Randall of mine that you're opening his gift.
- 17:24Speaker 7: I don't really like the guy.
- 17:29Speaker 4: And we have.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It's a Hams, one of the rarest beers in the world.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, gracious, Hams Special lights.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Is this really for me?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yes?
- 17:49Speaker 7: Of course, you only have a very limited supply of these.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Well, I had to get that one. I had to
- 17:54Speaker 3: open up my third to last case. I'm now in
- 17:57Speaker 3: my last three cases. But you wish at Randy, you
- 18:02Speaker 3: open that on a special occasion, maybe Christmas. I can't
- 18:06Speaker 3: feel it cold.
- 18:08Speaker 2: That's too bad, because if it was, I would say,
- 18:10Speaker 2: in the Christmas spirit, we can crack it open right
- 18:12Speaker 2: now and everybody to taste what one of those tastes like.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Oh my goodness. And a pack of basketball cards, not just.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Any pack of basketball cards. I went into my collection
- 18:24Speaker 3: and I pulled out all of the worst cards, which
- 18:27Speaker 3: are coaches. Anytime when you were kids you could get
- 18:32Speaker 3: a pack of cards, you would frown if you saw
- 18:35Speaker 3: a coach in.
- 18:36Speaker 4: There, don Nelson, not just.
- 18:38Speaker 3: One, not not just one Don Nelson. There are many
- 18:42Speaker 3: don Nelson. Jim Bay, of course, Jim Beeheim is in there.
- 18:46Speaker 3: And if you look Santa dar Car, Darvin Ham, I
- 18:51Speaker 3: believe it's a Darvin Ham rookie Nuggets card. I have
- 18:55Speaker 3: every coach for the Bucks in there, going back to
- 18:59Speaker 3: nineteen No for the MAVs, every mass coach going back
- 19:02Speaker 3: to nineteen ninety seven, Randall Clause, another Don Nelson, Another
- 19:06Speaker 3: Don Nelson car. That's another Don Nelson. Don Nelson was
- 19:11Speaker 3: a popular card in my collecting era.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Oh, this is what a thoughtful gift.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Anto.
- 19:17Speaker 1: What will you do with those cards?
- 19:20Speaker 4: Well, I'll try to keep them all on the table,
- 19:23Speaker 4: uh huh, my limited dexterity.
- 19:26Speaker 7: I'll put them on the shelf in my office and.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Just point them out as a sort of a curiosity
- 19:32Speaker 4: to anyone that comes in your office at the north Pole.
- 19:35Speaker 3: That's correct, uh huh. He'll flip through them when he
- 19:38Speaker 3: drinks his hand special light.
- 19:39Speaker 4: And I'll just reflect on all the humorous, short lived
- 19:42Speaker 4: coaching stints that have characterized the modern NBA.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Now, now, don't go drive in your sleigh after you've
- 19:48Speaker 6: tossed this hands back.
- 19:50Speaker 4: The reindeer do all the steering. But speaking of the
- 19:55Speaker 4: north pole, it's time I head back that way before.
- 19:59Speaker 7: I overheat in this suit. So can I leave Randall's
- 20:04Speaker 7: gifts here?
- 20:05Speaker 3: You could leave his gifts here. We'll get those two
- 20:07Speaker 3: and we'll make sure.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Oh, just go on my merry way then.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Okay, Well, thank you Santa and Brody and Corey. We
- 20:15Speaker 3: hope everyone is as joyful as we were come Christmas morning.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Darn right.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Happy Radio Live.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Thank you Randall clause, Thank you Santa. We will u
- 20:34Speaker 3: We will catch up with Brody and Corey later and
- 20:38Speaker 3: we will get back to our regularly scheduled radio live events.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I mean, considering how many podcasts there are in the
- 20:45Speaker 1: world now, and Santa has opened himself up to one, yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's tough bills.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Listen, we've been trying to get some big, famous guests
- 20:53Speaker 3: on this podcast lately, and we just got the biggest
- 20:56Speaker 3: of them.
- 20:56Speaker 2: All hard to top, especially this time of here.
- 21:00Speaker 3: That's right, Phil, Let's let's take some break for some
- 21:04Speaker 3: listener feedback. What's the chat have to say about?
- 21:07Speaker 5: I think the chat was just so caught up in
- 21:08Speaker 5: all the festivities that we haven't gotten a lot of questions,
- 21:11Speaker 5: so please throw in some questions here. But we do
- 21:14Speaker 5: have a question from Leland Hart. He asks, will anyone
- 21:17Speaker 5: in the crew be scoring I have Alena skull now
- 21:19Speaker 5: that Boone and Crockett just announced they will accept them.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I've never killed a Haveleena.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I've never killed the Havelina either, and I would like
- 21:26Speaker 1: to get one.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yeohnnie, Oh well, we're gonna have some Havelina tags in
- 21:30Speaker 2: Mexico in January, so Cal's gonna be to kill his
- 21:33Speaker 2: first one.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I've killed one.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I don't believe it was any sort of a special specimen,
- 21:39Speaker 2: so I will not be scoring the skull.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not a huge scorer.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I score every now and then, just so I know,
- 21:49Speaker 2: kind of like what when someone says it's X big,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I know what what I'm looking at. But yeah, I
- 21:56Speaker 2: don't know. Hopefully B and C gets something out of
- 21:59Speaker 2: having Boon and Crocket have a Lina.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Measurements and friend of the show, Jim Hefflefinger, I think
- 22:05Speaker 3: he was a big part of getting that across the
- 22:07Speaker 3: finish line that have Alena would be a Boon and
- 22:10Speaker 3: Crockett animal.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You know what Jannis just said, like it it is
- 22:15Speaker 1: very helpful to occasionally score something. It just it it
- 22:21Speaker 1: anchors your your reference points, right, And we scored a
- 22:25Speaker 1: not very great looking bull rack, you know officially for
- 22:32Speaker 1: non official scorers, where we were taking it serious and
- 22:36Speaker 1: and doing it the right way for once, and we
- 22:39Speaker 1: were shocked. My buddy shot a bowl the last day
- 22:43Speaker 1: archery season. Was more happy about just getting a bowl
- 22:49Speaker 1: the last day archery season than getting this particular bowl.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Just skull cap the thing. It was sitting in his
- 22:57Speaker 1: cabin when we showed up on the floor, leaning up
- 23:01Speaker 1: against a pile of sheds, and we were like, oh god,
- 23:05Speaker 1: real long main beams, but yeah, not all that big,
- 23:09Speaker 1: but oh boy, the mass is kind of nice. And
- 23:11Speaker 1: then you're kind of like looking at it. And we
- 23:14Speaker 1: finally scored the thing and it was a Legit just
- 23:18Speaker 1: just a shade under three sixty.
- 23:20Speaker 3: What did you think he was going to be like
- 23:22Speaker 3: three thirty, right, because.
- 23:24Speaker 1: You're just like, nothing really stood out as that impressive.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But the width measurement and the mass.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Will hide sometimes a lot of the other measurements.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Just makes it easier to communicate. I saw one hundred
- 23:35Speaker 3: and forty inch buck today I saw three hundred inch bowl.
- 23:38Speaker 5: What else you got? Phil Brady a question for Cow.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Thoughts on pampering hunting dogs. Gramps always claimed it will
- 23:45Speaker 5: ruin them, Boy Brady.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I think the best thing that you can do is
- 23:51Speaker 1: have a dog that sleeps outside. I mean really really
- 23:54Speaker 1: do And my dog does not. She's firmly wedged in
- 24:00Speaker 1: the bed often before I get there. But I think, yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 1: just builds up their cold tolerance.
- 24:07Speaker 2: For sure.
- 24:07Speaker 1: They get a much different coat if they're in like
- 24:11Speaker 1: a you know, an insulated dog house outside. I think
- 24:14Speaker 1: that's one of the better things that you can do
- 24:16Speaker 1: for him. But you know, outside of that, I think
- 24:20Speaker 1: the more time that you can spend with them, which
- 24:23Speaker 1: would be pampering in some folks, eyes can really help
- 24:29Speaker 1: that communication bond and a lot of the hunting aspects
- 24:33Speaker 1: that you can run into.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Cow goes for both ends of the spectrum. He lets
- 24:37Speaker 3: snort sleep inside, but also lets snort get bit by rattlesnakes.
- 24:41Speaker 3: So yeah, a little yin and yang.
- 24:44Speaker 1: No, no relationship comes without risk, Phil, Yeah, I'll do
- 24:48Speaker 1: one more. Has anyone here ever made a wild duck
- 24:50Speaker 1: down pillow?
- 24:51Speaker 3: No?
- 24:54Speaker 1: There is that something you would even recommend doing. There
- 24:56Speaker 1: is such a thing. I mean, I mean like the
- 24:58Speaker 1: down that you get in your sleeping bags and stuff
- 25:00Speaker 1: that is cooked in order to kill you know, natural
- 25:08Speaker 1: parasites or fumigated in some fashion, which is something that
- 25:14Speaker 1: you could definitely do at home. I know my grandma
- 25:19Speaker 1: did do this, so it I mean, it's absolutely doable.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I've just hearded the cleaning process. It's just a
- 25:28Speaker 2: real pain in the dish.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're not looking for feathers in general, you're
- 25:32Speaker 1: looking for the down feathers. So there's some some separation.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Anything else.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Phil.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll hold off on some until the end of
- 25:40Speaker 3: the show.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But yeah, please keep keep those questions coming in.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Phil, I just want to make you see that later
- 25:44Speaker 3: on in the show here we have one minute fishing.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Did you talk to who we're calling about that? Yes? Yes, Okay,
- 25:53Speaker 3: just making sure that we're on the same page, all right.
- 25:55Speaker 3: We on our next segment is top threes.
- 26:17Speaker 1: WHOA nailed it?
- 26:20Speaker 2: Wow?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Bill, it is a falsetto.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You know, Phil.
- 26:25Speaker 2: We have a very uh we have a invite not
- 26:29Speaker 2: invite only, but our house isn't huge, but we have
- 26:32Speaker 2: we hold a party every winter. Spencer's been once and
- 26:37Speaker 2: I feel backs I can't invite everybody because we just
- 26:39Speaker 2: don't have enough room. And I like to invite people
- 26:41Speaker 2: that would enjoy the things that we the activities that
- 26:44Speaker 2: we do at the party, which is basically ringing in
- 26:47Speaker 2: the new year with some Latvian pagan like traditions. One
- 26:52Speaker 2: of the things is singing, and so I got to
- 26:55Speaker 2: thinking today because I was telling someone else about it.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I was like, you know, Phil would be a great
- 26:59Speaker 2: person and to have at the party, because then if
- 27:03Speaker 2: you have somebody that can sing at that level, everybody
- 27:05Speaker 2: feels a little more comfortable singing along.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, you could use a tenor there. There's
- 27:09Speaker 3: a lot of basses and bear tones, right, so Phil
- 27:13Speaker 3: would bring some much needed.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Yeah, a lot of mono tones, a lot of no tones. Yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 5: I would love to Yeah, anytime, anytime you'd have me. Okay, yeah,
- 27:22Speaker 5: we'd invite you and your entire family. It's a it's
- 27:25Speaker 5: a kid friendly event.
- 27:27Speaker 3: But we need to hear your wife's first voice.
- 27:29Speaker 2: No, as long as she will just sing along. Your
- 27:33Speaker 2: kids get to play with molten lead. No. I think unfortunately,
- 27:36Speaker 2: I think we're squashed.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's modern world caught up with that peg and ritual.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Yanni, we display all we lead that we threw each Christmas,
- 27:46Speaker 3: we put it off.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and I appreciate. I like to hear that.
- 27:50Speaker 2: But uh yeah, last year I think there was a
- 27:52Speaker 2: kind of enough griping that we've decided to uh squash
- 27:57Speaker 2: the lead pouring.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Well glad I got to see it in it's and
- 28:00Speaker 3: it's heyday, all right. This week we are ranking the
- 28:03Speaker 3: three best Christmas gifts we've ever received. Cal you go first,
- 28:07Speaker 3: what is the third best Christmas gift you've ever gotten?
- 28:16Speaker 1: I got a okay, third third best.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Exacting like I did an email him two days ago
- 28:27Speaker 3: and say, hey, this is a segment we're doing.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I don't really like splitting them up.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I got a prime rib roast for my mom one time, Like,
- 28:36Speaker 1: oh that was pretty pretty bitching, okayty, Like a big old.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Twenty pound chunk of meat, like a four rib roast.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You know, you know, I mean like that runs you
- 28:46Speaker 1: like ninety some bucks at the grocery store, right, So,
- 28:50Speaker 1: I mean that's that's a nice gift. And you know,
- 28:52Speaker 1: having that big corn fed fat beef is a pretty
- 28:58Speaker 1: serious treat. When you answer as lean as ours ours?
- 29:02Speaker 3: So when did you cook it up?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Then?
- 29:03Speaker 3: What occasion did you save it for?
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think I ultimately cut it into steaks to kind
- 29:09Speaker 1: of make it last longer, Okay, And then yeah, every
- 29:13Speaker 1: every once in a while would grill up the big,
- 29:16Speaker 1: big fat steak. Yahny jalapenos.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Third best Christmas gift you've ever received?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Man, I'm with cal It's hard to really rank these.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Does that mean you're unprepared?
- 29:30Speaker 2: No?
- 29:30Speaker 3: No, no, no, Okay.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I have a lot of good I've received a lot.
- 29:33Speaker 2: The more I thought about it, I'm like, man, there's
- 29:34Speaker 2: been so many good ones. But it's also been over
- 29:37Speaker 2: the course of forty six years. But a Christmas gift
- 29:40Speaker 2: that I still receive annually I hope to receive it
- 29:43Speaker 2: again this year is that my in laws usually roll
- 29:47Speaker 2: in or send us home if we're spending the holidays
- 29:50Speaker 2: in North Carolina with a cooler full of headed shrimp.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, what do you do with them? Eat them?
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well?
- 29:59Speaker 3: Beyond that, like what kind of ri do you cook them?
- 30:02Speaker 3: When do you cook them?
- 30:03Speaker 4: Is that?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Like it's the thing you eat on Christmas?
- 30:06Speaker 2: I mean, there's a lot, so we like to share it.
- 30:08Speaker 2: With other you know, folks that would enjoy eating some shrimp.
- 30:12Speaker 2: But often we just do a you know, a shrimp cocktail.
- 30:16Speaker 2: We might we fry a lot of shrimp. We might
- 30:20Speaker 2: just do like a boil and toss them in some
- 30:23Speaker 2: hot casun butter, kind of a thing you don't do
- 30:25Speaker 2: peel and eats. We keep it pretty simple. I don't
- 30:28Speaker 2: get too fancy with the shrimp.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Do you think they're bringing you some this year?
- 30:32Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't ask. This is good and
- 30:35Speaker 2: crossing my fingers.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Uh huh. This is a good way to encourage them.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Tell them that your third best gift you've ever received
- 30:41Speaker 3: a shrimp.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, they're very aware that we are very
- 30:44Speaker 2: appreciative of that freezer stuff.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Or all right, third best gift I've ever received with
- 30:50Speaker 3: some Kabellus waiters from my parents in high school. I
- 30:53Speaker 3: was driving a Chevy Cavalier at the time, which is
- 30:56Speaker 3: just a two door little car, not a lot of room,
- 30:59Speaker 3: so I could fit those in my trunk and it
- 31:00Speaker 3: unlocked a lot of fishing, a lot of hunting, and
- 31:03Speaker 3: specifically bowfishing was my favorite thing at the time, so
- 31:06Speaker 3: I could like fit my bow fishing rig and my
- 31:09Speaker 3: waiters in the trunk, and that allowed me to kill
- 31:12Speaker 3: hundreds of carp really satisfied me in high school. So
- 31:16Speaker 3: those waiters got a lot of mileage out of them.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Their best gift I ever received, I'm gonna do my
- 31:20Speaker 3: second one too.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It was, well, do we get an ask Phil? Does
- 31:23Speaker 1: Phil get a play?
- 31:24Speaker 3: Oh? Well, Phil was just doing some technical adjustments over here, Phil,
- 31:29Speaker 3: you can play a long Oh well, I did not
- 31:31Speaker 3: do the homework, Spenser, But maybe come back to me.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I'll think, Okay, we'll swing. We'll swing by him at
- 31:35Speaker 3: the end here. Second best gift I've received was my
- 31:37Speaker 3: first trail cameras for my wife. She was my girlfriend
- 31:40Speaker 3: at the time in college, and that was a Multuary
- 31:43Speaker 3: M one hundred. I still remember what it was. That
- 31:45Speaker 3: would have been like twenty eleven, and that was when
- 31:49Speaker 3: trail cameras started to get really good and really affordable.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I know if you guys ever dabbled the trail cameras
- 31:54Speaker 3: like twenty years ago, but they were even more expensive
- 31:58Speaker 3: than they are now and they performed really poorly. And
- 32:01Speaker 3: that was right about the time. That was like a
- 32:03Speaker 3: tipping point around twenty ten twenty twelve, when trail cameras
- 32:07Speaker 3: got really good and anybody could could walk into a
- 32:10Speaker 3: Cabellas and buy one with some confidence. So that that
- 32:14Speaker 3: didn't make me a better deer hunter, but it made
- 32:16Speaker 3: me a more excited deer hunter, was getting that first
- 32:19Speaker 3: trail camera. So I'd say that's a second best Christmas
- 32:23Speaker 3: gift I've ever received. Cal your second best Christmas gift.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I would say I got my first semi auto shotgun
- 32:39Speaker 1: when Chester Super X two, which is still like a
- 32:42Speaker 1: fantastic waterfowl semi auto shotgun if you can find one.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I recently saw that that thing on some lists of
- 32:51Speaker 1: like used shotguns to look out for, and it is.
- 32:56Speaker 1: It's fantastic shotgun. I shot shot the heck out of
- 32:59Speaker 1: that thing.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Were you shooting before that?
- 33:01Speaker 1: Winchester thirteen hundred which used to be able to get
- 33:05Speaker 1: for like one hundred and fifty bucks and it would
- 33:07Speaker 1: come with a case of shells, and would you know,
- 33:10Speaker 1: would just shoot those things until they fell apart. There's
- 33:13Speaker 1: something with the arms on the slide that at some
- 33:17Speaker 1: point that metal would just weaken and snap off. Yeah,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I went, were a couple of those.
- 33:22Speaker 3: What age were you then? When you got that Semiato, probably.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Twenty.
- 33:31Speaker 3: It's a good gift to begin to semi yado. It's
- 33:33Speaker 3: a good time to beginning to Semiato. Shotgun huge, Yeah, Yanni.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Second best Christmas gift you've ever received?
- 33:40Speaker 2: Also a firearm? Oh, my dad gave me a Remington
- 33:44Speaker 2: seven hundred. I believe it was the beat L which
- 33:52Speaker 2: has the detachable or not detachable, just has the hinge
- 33:56Speaker 2: floor plate.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 33:57Speaker 2: But chambered in thirty at six, ok And how old
- 34:01Speaker 2: were you? Probably fourteen fifteen ish because we could hont.
- 34:08Speaker 2: We couldn't haunt with a rifle in Michigan, but we
- 34:10Speaker 2: could in Wisconsin, Okay. And so I think then like
- 34:13Speaker 2: the next year I went and killed my first buck
- 34:15Speaker 2: with that rifle in Wisconsin.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna give my number one. It was also a
- 34:19Speaker 3: Remington seven hundred hey from my parents in high school.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I think it'd have been like fifteen years old. That
- 34:25Speaker 3: was a three o eight that I got, And that
- 34:28Speaker 3: was the gun that I used to kill my first antelope,
- 34:31Speaker 3: my first elk, my first mule deer. That was the
- 34:33Speaker 3: rifle that like allowed me to, I guess, become more
- 34:37Speaker 3: of a generalist hunter beyond just a white Tail guy
- 34:40Speaker 3: was having my own, my very own rifle, and it
- 34:43Speaker 3: was a three eight and a Remington seven hundred. Just
- 34:46Speaker 3: it just worked good for everything. So Yanni's second best
- 34:50Speaker 3: gift ever was a Remington seven hundred. My best gift
- 34:52Speaker 3: ever Remington seven hundred. Yanni, what was the best gift
- 34:55Speaker 3: you ever got?
- 34:57Speaker 2: My youngest daughter was born, which is an early Christmas present,
- 35:03Speaker 2: but she was but Jennifer reminded me this morning that
- 35:05Speaker 2: she was supposed to be a Thanksgiving baby. She was
- 35:08Speaker 2: quite a bit late, and which usually doesn't make the
- 35:12Speaker 2: carrier of the baby happy, but it was very nice gift.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Two weeks later, we drove from where we were living
- 35:23Speaker 2: in Salt Lake, we drove to Michigan. So that was
- 35:28Speaker 2: twenty thirteen. I forget what they called it. It wasn't
- 35:31Speaker 2: the polar of vortex that like went down into Texas
- 35:35Speaker 2: or whatever, but it was a storm that came into
- 35:37Speaker 2: the Midwest and it literally just put a sheet of
- 35:40Speaker 2: ice basically from somewhere in the Dakota's all the way
- 35:43Speaker 2: into the you know, into the Great Lake States and
- 35:47Speaker 2: some of the craziest, scariest driving I've ever experienced.
- 35:52Speaker 3: There was a moment far of a drive.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Long enough we had to stay overnight, oh you know,
- 35:58Speaker 2: two days of driving, and to do that with a
- 36:01Speaker 2: two week old baby in the middle of winters, maybe
- 36:03Speaker 2: not wasn't a good decision. But there was a moment
- 36:07Speaker 2: where I drove through very slowly through a recently happened
- 36:11Speaker 2: accident where there was multiple cars like stuff littered on
- 36:18Speaker 2: the highway, and I just was like, I think the
- 36:21Speaker 2: best idea is just to keep weaving and moving, like,
- 36:23Speaker 2: don't touch the brakes, don't hit the gas, you know,
- 36:26Speaker 2: and just get away from all of this. But yeah,
- 36:29Speaker 2: it was pretty intense.
- 36:31Speaker 3: So she was a better Christmas gift than your rifle
- 36:33Speaker 3: dad gave you. Oh yeah, okay, cal best Christmas gift
- 36:37Speaker 3: you ever received. And then we're going to hear from
- 36:39Speaker 3: Philly engineer.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I think so my mom, and it'd be I can't
- 36:49Speaker 1: really remember if it was. I think it may have
- 36:52Speaker 1: been more of a birthday present, but sometimes a Christmas
- 36:55Speaker 1: present would be renewal subscriptions to Outdoor Life and Field
- 36:59Speaker 1: and Stream and my dad so a combo deal, uh,
- 37:05Speaker 1: Collected Works of Jack London. It's a big thick book.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But both of those were you know, like definitely like
- 37:17Speaker 1: the things that I would read and read and read
- 37:21Speaker 1: that were just like because I really didn't have anybody
- 37:27Speaker 1: that was like really enamored with hunting and fishing in
- 37:31Speaker 1: my social circle like growing up, you know, so like
- 37:34Speaker 1: there were folks who dabbled in it, but you know,
- 37:37Speaker 1: it wasn't that was like my main resource.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:42Speaker 1: It's like and you know, not like internet stuff or
- 37:46Speaker 1: anything like that that you know, just wasn't part of
- 37:50Speaker 1: the learning experience at that point.
- 37:52Speaker 3: So okay, Well, if anyone out there is shopping for
- 37:55Speaker 3: a gift for the three of us, you could get
- 37:56Speaker 3: us a gun, books, or a child. That's it's as
- 38:01Speaker 3: top of our list.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but number three is good too, which would be
- 38:05Speaker 2: you know food.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean yeah, food. Really, it's such a good gift.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I mean, look at this Brody Henderson mule deer brats.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:16Speaker 1: And anybody who does this stuff knows that sausage is expensive.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Whether you make it on your own or pay to
- 38:22Speaker 1: have it done, it ain't cheap. It's time and and money,
- 38:26Speaker 1: and it's arguably like the most expensive thing in your freezer.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And it's almost always the thing that I give away,
- 38:34Speaker 1: And I mean ducks make people very happy to for
- 38:36Speaker 1: those those of you who can appreciate a good duck.
- 38:39Speaker 2: That's right, I was gonna I was gonna add to
- 38:41Speaker 2: that one say that I ain't give a duck to nobody.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Oh dude, it's just anybody.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Especially a plucked one like that.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, if like Brody, I know that when he
- 38:51Speaker 2: thaws that thing out, it will be treated properly, it
- 38:53Speaker 2: would be enjoyed. But I can't say that about everybody.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, fill the engineers of Remington seven hundred. Also with
- 38:59Speaker 3: the time of your list, it's not no.
- 39:01Speaker 5: And also both my kids were born in the spring,
- 39:03Speaker 5: so I don't have that cop out.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Either, cop cop Yeah, I was thinking the same thing,
- 39:11Speaker 1: Thank you, cal.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I mean this, this is easy.
- 39:15Speaker 5: I mean number three PlayStation two that was in the
- 39:17Speaker 5: year two thousand and number two probably the game Boy
- 39:19Speaker 5: Advance in nineteen ninety eight, and number one's PlayStation one.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I think that was ninety seven. Hell yeah, Phil, Hell yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 1: All right.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Moving on, our next segment is meat Pole.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Say if Chully and Meatball is a take welcome to me,
- 39:37Speaker 1: eat ready, I got a game? Oh yeah, white boards,
- 39:44Speaker 1: oh white boards?
- 39:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Meat Pole is a test of how much you know
- 39:49Speaker 3: about your fellow hunters and anglers. I surveyed five hundred
- 39:53Speaker 3: Meat Eater listeners about personal preferences and personal experiences. Your
- 39:57Speaker 3: job is to predict their answers. There are three questions.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Whoever is closest to the correct answer between col and
- 40:04Speaker 3: Giannis gets a point. Whoever gets two points will be
- 40:07Speaker 3: the winner, and everyone in the chat should play along
- 40:10Speaker 3: as well, because Phil is going to watch for your
- 40:13Speaker 3: answers and give a shout out to whoever is closest.
- 40:17Speaker 2: You boys, ready, Yeah, I'm having a little Christmas cooking,
- 40:20Speaker 2: all right.
- 40:21Speaker 3: The first question what percentage of Meat Eater listeners plan
- 40:26Speaker 3: to serve wild game on Christmas this year? So you're
- 40:31Speaker 3: going to write down a number as a percent What
- 40:35Speaker 3: percentage of meat Eater listeners plan to serve wild game
- 40:40Speaker 3: on Christmas this year?
- 40:42Speaker 2: Can't believe you guys thought that was a cop out.
- 40:45Speaker 3: I mean December fifth, closer to Thanksgiving, Yanni, it is.
- 40:51Speaker 3: But cal what are you serving on Christmas this year?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Well, I'll I'm definitely be cooking some game on Christmas.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Haven't cleared that with the program manager yet, But Christmas Eve,
- 41:09Speaker 1: I have a whole antelope ham that I'm gonna, you know,
- 41:16Speaker 1: make all super nice in the smoker, get a good salty,
- 41:20Speaker 1: briny crust on.
- 41:21Speaker 3: There, and you got to start on that.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Then I'll do that Christmas Eve morning and then do
- 41:28Speaker 1: like hard rolls and a couple of little sandwich spread sauces. Well,
- 41:35Speaker 1: you're only gonna brin it for a day, no, So
- 41:39Speaker 1: what I like to do is just do like a
- 41:41Speaker 1: salt rub the night before and then which is a
- 41:44Speaker 1: Brian but and then put it on the pellet grill
- 41:48Speaker 1: and then make a mop. So it's it's hard with
- 41:52Speaker 1: a pellet grill because you lose so much heat, but
- 41:54Speaker 1: like just three twenty five ish and then do like
- 41:57Speaker 1: a rosemary time garlic, more salt, butter and olive oil
- 42:04Speaker 1: and then mop that on that roast over and over again,
- 42:08Speaker 1: like every twenty minutes. And it really extends the cooking time.
- 42:10Speaker 1: But you get this nice like salty crust on there.
- 42:14Speaker 1: It's kind of like Mediterranean style. You can put to
- 42:16Speaker 1: zeke out something like that. But and it works awesome
- 42:20Speaker 1: with antelope specifically, but then folks can kind of build
- 42:24Speaker 1: their own little sandwiches. Yeah, and then I'm going to
- 42:27Speaker 1: make a huge thing poke out of a chunk of
- 42:30Speaker 1: the yellowfin that we got from meat eater Experiences. And
- 42:33Speaker 1: then I might do meat balls too, some fresh ground
- 42:38Speaker 1: elk meatballs and a nice homemade marinara sauce.
- 42:41Speaker 2: And I'm guessing that you must be hosting. Well, my
- 42:45Speaker 2: uncle Mike's hosting. And in his words, this is one
- 42:49Speaker 2: of the original col Callahans. In his words, I'm providing
- 42:54Speaker 2: the house and I will buy whatever you tell me.
- 42:58Speaker 2: He's like, that's all I can tribute, which is a
- 43:01Speaker 2: lot of It was a huge contribution to.
- 43:03Speaker 3: See the program manager. That's referring to someone else.
- 43:05Speaker 1: That's referring to somebody else on Christmas Day. There's Christmas
- 43:08Speaker 1: Day responsibilities, but Christmas Eve responsibilities are helping provide the
- 43:13Speaker 1: food for eighteen people. Oh, my uncle Mike's hosting. He'll
- 43:19Speaker 1: buy some of the beer and the and the and
- 43:21Speaker 1: the booze. And then he likes to do uh not
- 43:29Speaker 1: a bool ya baze. What's the other seafood kind of
- 43:33Speaker 1: stew chowder? Kids, it's the sea. It's like a friendship.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Pinoino.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Thank you, good job, Team Italian.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so cal you better get that paperwork submitted then
- 43:45Speaker 3: to the program manager. So you can figure out Christmas
- 43:47Speaker 3: Day again. The question they're answering is what percentage of
- 43:51Speaker 3: meat eater listeners plan to serve wild game on Christmas
- 43:54Speaker 3: this year? You two ready reveal your answers. Cal says
- 43:58Speaker 3: eighty six. Col Jiannis says sixty five percent. The correct
- 44:04Speaker 3: high is forty four point seven, meaning Yanni takes the
- 44:09Speaker 3: first point of the game a.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Twentieth directly proportionate reflective of people who were successful and
- 44:17Speaker 1: were not successful. We had Jerry in the chat saying
- 44:21Speaker 1: forty five.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Forty five on Jerry point seven points off. A twenty
- 44:27Speaker 3: twenty you gov poll looked at the most popular Christmas
- 44:30Speaker 3: dishes in America. They found that turkey, prime, rib, roast, beef, steak, chicken,
- 44:35Speaker 3: pork loin, and ham are the favorites, while goose, duck, lamb,
- 44:40Speaker 3: and fish had the lowest approval ratings.
- 44:43Speaker 2: I got a good Christmas duck story. We still tell it.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I think that the the details in the story have
- 44:49Speaker 2: been skewed, and if my brother was here, he could
- 44:52Speaker 2: better tell the story. But the short version of it
- 44:56Speaker 2: is excuse me. We're at my grandmother's in Chicago and
- 45:01Speaker 2: she cooked duck for Christmas.
- 45:04Speaker 3: And she did the duck comfort.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Farm, duck farm duck yep.
- 45:08Speaker 2: And she was a good cook, considered herself a good
- 45:12Speaker 2: cook and took a lot of pride in, you know,
- 45:15Speaker 2: decorating for the holidays and having just a supreme spread.
- 45:20Speaker 2: And uh, it's whenever it's served, we sit down, it's duck.
- 45:25Speaker 2: It looks beautiful. And my brother asked for ketchup and
- 45:29Speaker 2: that did not go.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Over well with Grandma.
- 45:34Speaker 2: And I don't forget exactly you know what would happened
- 45:37Speaker 2: after that? Did he get his ketchup? I don't even
- 45:39Speaker 2: remember that far. I just remember that he asked for it,
- 45:41Speaker 2: and that's that's when the ship stored.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Mam lose it. She would be visibly angered.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Question two, what percentage of me deater listeners have killed
- 45:52Speaker 3: a deer on Christmas Day? And Yanni took the first point.
- 45:59Speaker 3: He was close on figuring it out. What percentage of
- 46:02Speaker 3: listeners are serving wild game on Christmas this year? I
- 46:06Speaker 3: went on question two, what percentage of me eat listeners
- 46:09Speaker 3: have killed a deer on Christmas Day? Have either of
- 46:12Speaker 3: you killed a deer on Christmas Day?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Plenty of birds, Okay, I don't believe, so I just
- 46:19Speaker 2: killed my first deer on Thanksgiving Day this year, which
- 46:24Speaker 2: I thought.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Was kind of fun and cool.
- 46:26Speaker 2: You know, I didn't even think i'd ever be hunting
- 46:28Speaker 2: on Thanksgiving Day, let alone get lucky enough to kill
- 46:30Speaker 2: a deer.
- 46:31Speaker 3: How do you think you'd ever hunt on Thanksgiving Day?
- 46:33Speaker 2: Well, because usually I was never in a spot where
- 46:35Speaker 2: that was Like, I know, for some people that's just tradition,
- 46:38Speaker 2: right that, like Thanksgiving Day you're out hunting, But I
- 46:41Speaker 2: don't know, for us, we're usually just with I don't know,
- 46:45Speaker 2: maybe I'm not membering things correctly because maybe I've been
- 46:47Speaker 2: on a squirrel hunt Thanksgiving Day that I think about it.
- 46:50Speaker 2: But anyways, I'm hoping to make it a tradition again.
- 46:56Speaker 3: What percentage of listeners have killed a deer on Christmas Day?
- 46:59Speaker 3: Are you two ready?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh man? According to our folks right now, I
- 47:03Speaker 1: am way high.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Go ahead and reveal your answers. Cal says eleven percent,
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yanni says seven percent. One of you is within one
- 47:14Speaker 3: percent of the correct answer. The correct answer is six
- 47:19Speaker 3: point two percent.
- 47:20Speaker 1: At Yani, Yeah, I forgot you. Guys can see me
- 47:24Speaker 1: over here. But guess what we had three people get
- 47:26Speaker 1: it right? We had Benjamin say six two damn Cuba.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Steve said six too. Danny It said, hell yeah, damn.
- 47:36Speaker 3: The chat is.
- 47:37Speaker 1: What we've learned here is I believe more in our
- 47:41Speaker 1: audience than our audience does.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Alabama has one of the most unique ruts in North America,
- 47:48Speaker 3: with peak rut dates ranging from mid November to mid February,
- 47:52Speaker 3: and according to Dear Fetal Collections, Christmas Day is actually
- 47:56Speaker 3: peak rut in some parts of the state. Oh, here's
- 47:59Speaker 3: question three. We already know Yanni want it, but we're
- 48:01Speaker 3: gonna look at this last one anyway. What percentage of
- 48:05Speaker 3: meat eater listeners think Yannis is a better gift giver
- 48:09Speaker 3: than Cal?
- 48:11Speaker 1: How would they even know?
- 48:13Speaker 3: They they've been consuming content with you two for years
- 48:16Speaker 3: and they've maybe gathered some info in that time. What
- 48:21Speaker 3: percentage of listeners think Yanni is a better gift giver
- 48:26Speaker 3: than Cal? Yanni? Who do you think it's a better
- 48:29Speaker 3: gift giver?
- 48:32Speaker 2: What did you what did you give this?
- 48:36Speaker 3: Oh? You gave ducks like what you call it's a kit.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Of every day I mean, it hasn't been two weeks
- 48:50Speaker 2: since the last time someone at my house was like,
- 48:53Speaker 2: I can't find the super glu you know now we'll
- 48:55Speaker 2: have an extra tube kicking around.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Both gave good gift to solve.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I was looking for bag bam but they didn't didn't
- 49:04Speaker 1: have it at the grocery store. So because that's that's
- 49:08Speaker 1: helpful stuff, especially for Yanni's running career.
- 49:11Speaker 3: So dry weather of listeners think Yanni is a better
- 49:15Speaker 3: gift giver than Cal.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Are you If I was to say ten percent, that
- 49:19Speaker 2: would mean that ninety percent of them thought that Cal
- 49:22Speaker 2: was a better that's correct.
- 49:23Speaker 3: We surveyed five hundred people to get this answer.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Wow, oh better a gift giver. John Flynn says one
- 49:33Speaker 1: hundred and ten percent of the people, thank your gift?
- 49:37Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 49:38Speaker 4: Yanni?
- 49:41Speaker 3: Sure? Reveal by your own stuff? Okay. Cal says fifty
- 49:48Speaker 3: four percent of listeners think Yanni is a better gift
- 49:51Speaker 3: giver than Cal, and Yanni says eighty percent of listeners
- 49:56Speaker 3: think Yanni is a better gift giver than This.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Is not a reflection of what I I think, this
- 50:00Speaker 2: is what I think the listeners think.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Well, it's a clean sweep for Yanni. This week, seventy
- 50:06Speaker 3: three point one percent of listeners said they think Yanni
- 50:10Speaker 3: is a better gift giver.
- 50:11Speaker 5: We had Evan guessing seventy three point five.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Wow. Evan Yanni is our winner of this week's game
- 50:21Speaker 3: of meat Pool. All right, next it's a fun game, Spencer,
- 50:25Speaker 3: Thank you, Yanni. I think it fits into radio well.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Next up we are doing one minute Fishing.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Do I feel lucky? Oh boy?
- 50:35Speaker 5: Do you.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Go ahead?
- 50:38Speaker 1: Make my cast for folks who don't know that Percentage
- 50:44Speaker 1: game is something that we started doing at the Live
- 50:47Speaker 1: Live Podcast Live Tour, and it is. It is pretty
- 50:52Speaker 1: fun to be able to stare out at the audience
- 50:54Speaker 1: and be like fifty of this crowd. Yeah.
- 51:00Speaker 3: We learn a lot about folks in Anaheim and Salt
- 51:03Speaker 3: Lake City and Missoula. My favorite question to ask is
- 51:06Speaker 3: what percentage of people think that their state game agency
- 51:10Speaker 3: is corrupt? Yeah, and it's often more than half in
- 51:13Speaker 3: any state you're in.
- 51:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 51:15Speaker 3: One Minute Fishing is where we go live to someone
- 51:17Speaker 3: who's fishing and they have one minute to catch a fish,
- 51:20Speaker 3: and if they're successful, we'll make a five hundred dollars
- 51:23Speaker 3: donation to a conservation group. This week, our angler is
- 51:27Speaker 3: Santa Claus, who's at an undisclosed location somewhere in the
- 51:31Speaker 3: Northern Hemisphere. And he's fishing for a donation to the
- 51:35Speaker 3: Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. Oh, he's even in a boat.
- 51:41Speaker 3: I didn't know Santa was going to be in a boat.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Hello, boys, how are you today?
- 51:47Speaker 3: Wow?
- 51:47Speaker 2: Well you just saw it, Santa, don't you know.
- 51:51Speaker 4: I'm everywhere all at once. That's how this whole thing works.
- 51:55Speaker 1: You got it someplace sunny.
- 51:58Speaker 4: Oh it's extremely hot out here. I thought it'd be
- 52:01Speaker 4: cooler than it was in the podcast studio, but I'm
- 52:04Speaker 4: still uncomfortable in my suit.
- 52:07Speaker 2: How did you transport your canoe, santay?
- 52:12Speaker 4: Of course?
- 52:13Speaker 3: Oh, of course, I mean that makes sense. Santa is
- 52:17Speaker 3: in an actual canoe. He has found soft water somewhere
- 52:21Speaker 3: here in the Gallatin Valley unless he went somewhere else totally.
- 52:26Speaker 3: He does have a slave to transport himself and marry
- 52:28Speaker 3: on ice.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I don't see any ripples coming off that canoe.
- 52:32Speaker 4: It's mostly hard water, but there's a little bit of
- 52:35Speaker 4: soft water, and we didn't feel comfortable getting on the
- 52:38Speaker 4: ice today.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Okay, he.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Is being safe.
- 52:43Speaker 3: He has a little orange life vest on that I
- 52:46Speaker 3: I don't know if that's gonna work if we get
- 52:49Speaker 3: in an emergency. All Right, Santa Claus. Okay, but it
- 52:54Speaker 3: is legal. Santa Claus, what are we fishing for today?
- 52:59Speaker 4: We're fishing for some perch, I'm told.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Okay, and what tactics are you using.
- 53:04Speaker 4: We've got a little jighead here, a little sort of
- 53:07Speaker 4: a fire tiger type jighead with some uh, some muleworms.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Okay, Santa. Well, the maybe the meat Eater uh flagship
- 53:18Speaker 3: store in downtown Boseman, because they do sell bait. So
- 53:22Speaker 3: if you're in the Gallatin Valley and you find that
- 53:24Speaker 3: you need some bait, swinging to the meat Eater store. Okay,
- 53:27Speaker 3: Santa Claus, your one minute starts whenever you make your
- 53:30Speaker 3: first cast.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Oh is that his special light at his feet?
- 53:35Speaker 3: Well, his special light is sitting right here, so he
- 53:38Speaker 3: must have.
- 53:38Speaker 4: A different that's a different beer.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Okay, Santa Claus is now jigging. It's a very gentle
- 53:47Speaker 3: motion he's using.
- 53:48Speaker 1: It's a pretty aggressive jig though.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Oh sure, yeah. That is a short rod that he
- 53:55Speaker 3: has as well. It's like something something between an ice
- 54:00Speaker 3: fishing pole and a regular jigging pole.
- 54:04Speaker 1: You don't think that's the ice fishing run.
- 54:06Speaker 3: It looks I mean, it looks an ice fishing r
- 54:09Speaker 3: did ice. You're thirty seconds in.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Did you see that fella running?
- 54:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Santa is somewhere just looking at Santa's jigging motion here.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I don't think all sant Nax's a real perch fisher.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Well, you can give us some tips. He's got ten
- 54:29Speaker 3: seconds left.
- 54:31Speaker 1: The shaky wrist, slow it down a little bit. Yeah, happened.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Drank way too much the night before and your hands
- 54:36Speaker 1: are shaken.
- 54:37Speaker 3: All right, it's like a drink near. Is his boot
- 54:40Speaker 3: down there?
- 54:40Speaker 2: I don't know it's he did mention some eggnog.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Your one minute is over, but he's still fishing anyway, Santa.
- 54:48Speaker 3: I'm disappointing we couldn't make it happen for the Christmas
- 54:51Speaker 3: episode of Media to Radio Live.
- 54:54Speaker 4: Although I do believe in the magic of Christmas, I
- 54:57Speaker 4: did not have a lot of confidence that this would.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Okay, well, thank you for joining us, Randall clause, Where
- 55:04Speaker 3: are you off to next? Where are we going to
- 55:06Speaker 3: see you after this?
- 55:08Speaker 4: I hope.
- 55:12Speaker 1: And he did.
- 55:13Speaker 3: He did not bring a change of clothes, so you
- 55:16Speaker 3: may actually see him in Chipotle. All right, see you later, Santa.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Thanks Sanna. Okay. That brings us to the end of
- 55:25Speaker 3: this week's show, Phil, let's get some final feedback from
- 55:28Speaker 3: the chat. Fifty five minutes.
- 55:32Speaker 5: Why Bye Wow, Mogor asks, Hey Spencer, when you found
- 55:37Speaker 5: out that your favorite beer was going out of production,
- 55:39Speaker 5: how much did you stockpo for yourself? Thank you for
- 55:41Speaker 5: your answer. I think you've talked about this before, but
- 55:43Speaker 5: it's been a while, right.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Yes, So it was, Uh, there were rumors that it
- 55:46Speaker 3: was happening for a while, so I spent like a
- 55:49Speaker 3: year just collecting, and I had like people in my network,
- 55:52Speaker 3: my family and my friends also trying to get it. Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 3: because well they don't sell any of it in Montana either.
- 55:57Speaker 3: When they did sell Ham Special, it's like sort of
- 55:59Speaker 3: a Great Lakes Midwestern thing. Maybe maybe in the Northeast
- 56:02Speaker 3: as well, but we didn't have it this far west.
- 56:05Speaker 3: So I was really stockpiling it. And you would see
- 56:08Speaker 3: in Facebook groups when someone posts like the Walmart and
- 56:11Speaker 3: Mitchell South Dakota just got more Ham Special light. I'd
- 56:14Speaker 3: had a small but loyal following what kind of a
- 56:17Speaker 3: Facebook group like a a Ham's Facebook group. Yeah, and
- 56:21Speaker 3: again there were rumors for a while that this was
- 56:23Speaker 3: going to happen. How it worked was during COVID Molson Coors,
- 56:28Speaker 3: who I think is the larger entity that brews Hams
- 56:32Speaker 3: and Ham Special Light. They cut back production during COVID
- 56:36Speaker 3: like like a lot of places had to. And when
- 56:38Speaker 3: they did that, they realized, Hey, maybe we don't have
- 56:40Speaker 3: to sell all of these niche beers anymore because it's
- 56:44Speaker 3: not really affecting our bottom line. And so they caught
- 56:47Speaker 3: thirteen of their products. One of them was, sadly, the
- 56:49Speaker 3: Ham Special Light. So I am down to my third
- 56:53Speaker 3: to last case. I think by the time it was
- 56:55Speaker 3: formally announced that they were canceling it, I had like
- 56:58Speaker 3: ten cases left. So it's we're down to the line.
- 57:02Speaker 2: You're telling us the other day that they're getting they've
- 57:05Speaker 2: outlived their shelf life.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 3: So a lot people are always in my Instagram comments
- 57:10Speaker 3: like beer, don't keep those things gotta be green. I
- 57:14Speaker 3: get that. But you know what's better than no Ham
- 57:16Speaker 3: Special Light is a slightly off Ham Special Light. So
- 57:20Speaker 3: they they are starting to taste slightly different, just a
- 57:24Speaker 3: more mature beer. Now you got to drink a mice cold.
- 57:27Speaker 3: You don't drink a Ham Special Light or room temperature anymore.
- 57:31Speaker 3: What else we got?
- 57:32Speaker 5: Phil Ben's asking tomorrow's my birthday, and I'm Spencer's number
- 57:37Speaker 5: one fan. Can you send me a personalized message from
- 57:39Speaker 5: his hot tub? Do you have a cameo account Spencer one?
- 57:43Speaker 6: No.
- 57:44Speaker 3: Ben is someone I went to high school with. Oh,
- 57:46Speaker 3: it's just it's a little little prank from Ben. Yeah,
- 57:50Speaker 3: and you a message Ben from the hot tub.
- 57:52Speaker 1: That's a whole different revenue stream thoughts from Spencer's hot tub.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll give give them money to conservation.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Leland asks, what is what is better to prep for
- 58:03Speaker 1: quail hunting? Skeeter trap? What hunting style does each prep
- 58:06Speaker 1: four better?
- 58:07Speaker 3: What do you got, cal?
- 58:12Speaker 1: I mean whatever you can make time for. For sure,
- 58:17Speaker 1: more shooting in the off season develops muscle memory, and yeah,
- 58:22Speaker 1: I mean that is the number one thing is mounting
- 58:24Speaker 1: that gun the same way every single time and shooting
- 58:27Speaker 1: from your toes not your heels, an aggressive stance, and
- 58:32Speaker 1: you can hone that skill way better in the off
- 58:35Speaker 1: season than you can during the hunting season. But yeah, boy,
- 58:43Speaker 1: the sporting plays. If you can make it out to
- 58:45Speaker 1: Sporting Clays, that's a great way to do it because
- 58:49Speaker 1: you just see a bunch of different angles and go,
- 58:53Speaker 1: you know, try to make some time to do it.
- 58:54Speaker 1: When it's not busy and you can spend time at
- 58:57Speaker 1: different stations playing them over and over again for those
- 59:01Speaker 1: those tricky shots.
- 59:02Speaker 2: But maybe for quail the trap just because it comes
- 59:05Speaker 2: out from under your feet kind of.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, yeah, if you had to pick one, yeah,
- 59:11Speaker 1: because it's.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Not you're going to get a big passing shot on
- 59:13Speaker 2: a quill.
- 59:14Speaker 1: No not, I mean it all happens out there, but yeah,
- 59:19Speaker 1: I think if you're flushing, birds are typically gonna come
- 59:22Speaker 1: out and go away from you.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Bill anything else? Ah, yeah, we can do one more.
- 59:27Speaker 5: Bradley asks, where do you do most of your Christmas
- 59:29Speaker 5: shopping for your significant other? I bought most of my
- 59:32Speaker 5: presents at Minards this year, and you guys have like
- 59:34Speaker 5: go to outlets for your girlfriend or wife.
- 59:38Speaker 3: Bradley is, uh, he's a good Midwesterner going to minards.
- 59:42Speaker 3: You save big money there. You gotta send you.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Look he's a big trap or skeek guy judging by
- 59:47Speaker 2: his picture there. No, I don't. I didn't.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I bought very few gifts this year. Everybody has what
- 59:58Speaker 2: they need in my house.
- 59:59Speaker 3: There you go. I got my wife's gift from eBay
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: this year, but she might be listening, so I'm not
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: going to say what it is. Calany any thoughts on this?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Yeah, boy, I think actions over more stuff. Everybody has
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: access to stuff at the you know, all the time
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: these days, so.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Could be the action of buying something.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: There's a list of things that I need to get
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: done that would make somebody very happy. Oh buddy, tell
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: me about that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Phil, what else you got? How about we call the
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: show guys. Okay, we just hit minute sixty and I
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: can hear there's an all company meeting happening upstairs right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Now, right now, and you're right, sat Nick, need to
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: get to that.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: All right, everyone, Merry Christmas, Thank you, and Phil. Next
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: week we do not have a show, Yes next week.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: Here we were dropping a couple of episodes of the
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: kids podcast on the meat Eater Feed, but there are
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: even more over on the meat Eater Kids Feed. So
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: if you're a parent and you're listening to this show
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: right now, go subscribe to the new feed if you haven't,
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: if you haven't done that already. But we'll drop in
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: a few more episodes and then we will also be
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: back with a new episode on January second, but it
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: will be pre taped, so it'll be live stream, but
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: it'll be pre recorded so but then after that we're
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: live again for the foreseeable future.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: All right, Merry Christmas. We'll see you back here in
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: the new year.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Have a fun one, get outside,
