- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Go out there, take action today.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Today, let's just figure out your future.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Imagine I'm gonna snap my finger, and there it is.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: You cannot just only picture yourself holding a trophy.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: You have to picture yourself doing the work as well.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: When researchers found that mentally simulating a future behavior produced meaningful improvement in actual behavior, it's not just dreaming, right?
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: You're identifying the obstacle and deciding how you will respond.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And Live 100 is about creating the life you want, but understanding that there's going to be challenges along the way.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Understanding that you're going to have to find yourself and fortify your mind, strengthen your mind through the ups and downs.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: All right, let's go.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: If you're tired of not feeling fit, tired of just not having a focus, tired, just not having the life that you want.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: This is the place to be.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I'm Jason Yaroussi.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Today, let's just figure out your future.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: You know, so many times you hear that.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Well, what are you doing?
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm just trying to figure it out.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: But when you look at your life, everything that we create happens twice.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: First, it happens in our mind, and then it gets recreated in that world.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: We spend so much time trying to just have this perfect plan, but we can't think through the vision.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And there's a theory that if you can get specific with what you're actually looking for, eventually it can become your reality.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Because what we think can be what becomes.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: It happens in our mind, it happens in this world.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: That business that you had an idea for, well, you had that idea before you had the customers.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: The building that you created, right?
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: You had this existence in your mind before you ever poured that foundation.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: The finish line that is achievable to you first comes into your mind before you ever cross that finish, final line.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: You can call that visualization, visualization, mental rehearsal, or just conjuring up your future.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: But it honestly, it is a match.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You can sit on the couch, picture a life, and expect the universe to just deliver it to you.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: But your mind, it just doesn't manufacture the results that way.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: It creates this internal blueprint for you that helps you reorganize your opportunities and just look and prepare for the obstacles that are in front of you.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: And then calculate what should be the next step along your path.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And if you're thinking, well, that sounds silly.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: If I just sit here, I can imagine it.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Well, there's honestly real data behind it.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: You know, a large analysis examined 123 results in CO, including and involving more than 5,600 people, and researchers found that mentally simulating a future behavior produced a meaningful improvement in actual behavior.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: But the important part doesn't stop there because you can't just visualize and just say, well, if I just think about it, well, then imagine I'm gonna snap my finger and there it is.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: You cannot just only picture yourself holding a trophy.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: You have to picture yourself doing the work as well.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: You can't imagine yourself just having a successful business.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: You have to imagine yourself making the calls, hearing no, understanding the rejection, adjusting the plan and coming back tomorrow.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: You can't see yourself running a hundred miles.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: You have to imagine yourself in mile 70 when your leg hurts, when your stomach is fighting you at every point, when your mind is telling you every single reason that you have to stop now.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: That's where your future is really created.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: It's where you can imagine all the parts of the process.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Some of the most famous race car drivers, right?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: They sit and they visualize the entire race, each turn, each part, each leg of the race.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: They imagine and think it through all the way through to that perfect finish.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: And you have to think about what can go wrong, right?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: In life, we have this part where we just want to think about everything that can go right.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: We just want to think about all the steps and the perfect plan and just how everything's gonna just fall in line, right?
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: But we forget about thinking about what can go wrong because honestly, when you do, it's exhausting, right?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Thinking about all the reasons, right?
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: All the reasons.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: But you have to tell yourself all the reasons that you can be quitting, right?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Because that's what's gonna become attractive in your life, right?
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: You know, there's Eight Mile with Eminem, right?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Where he gets up and has his rap battle, and in the end, he tells all the different things about him that are bad to the other rapper, and he basically disqualifies that rapper from having any kind of comeback because you just set out all the comebacks of why he shouldn't be successful.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: And in our life, do we have weather changing, right?
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: You have the your pace falling apart, your nutrition going offline, all these reasons that could allow your emotions to take control.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And you have to think about all the negatives that could happen in your life and then understand that that's just a part of the journey.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Because each time that that negative came up, you've now manifested in your mind that, okay, this was gonna come up.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: This wasn't a setback.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: I've prepared mentally for this because now here it is in front of me.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: That time that I was just at the deal and the finish line and the closing foul part, that time when I was training for the marathon and I broke my foot, right?
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: When that difficult moment now arrives, it's not completely new.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: You've already met it in a past mental moment.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And it allows you to go into the part where you can call it as a version of mental contrasting, right?
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: That future picture of what you want, that you deliberately contrast it with the obstacle standing in your way.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: That obstacle that's preventing you from your future.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: There was another study of a 2021 studies involving 1,600 people that found that combining the process of specific action improved goal achievement.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Because most times when something comes up in your life, right, when something happens in your life and you say, here's what I want, right?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Well, then you get smacked in the face with reality and you completely fall away from ever achieving that goal.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Because you didn't think about all those things that could happen along the way.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: But when you set your mind on the finish line and you tell yourself all the challenges that could be in front of you, right?
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: When a challenge comes up, whether it's that challenge, right, or something else, you've now prepared yourself that this is not gonna be the easiest road.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: This is not gonna be the easiest path forward.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: And it's not just dreaming, right?
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: You're identifying the obstacle and deciding how you will respond.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: I live 100, it's about creating the life you want, but understanding that there's gonna be challenges along the way, understanding that you're going to have to find yourself and fortify your mind, strengthen your mind through the ups and downs.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: And in another study, university students use this method to pursue their academic goals, right?
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Four weeks later, they achieve better results than students who received stress management training.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Because they said, okay, studying, right?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I might find that something falls out of place, but now I'm ready for it.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: The future becomes more likely because you don't just imagine success.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: You start connecting a future plan, right?
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: You start connecting the dots to say, okay, it might not be a linear path to where I want, but I can do this, right?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: I can start with the future.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: I can choose one result I generally want.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: I can say, I want my life to be better.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Well, that's a little vague.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: I can say I want to lose 100 pounds.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I want to buy my first investment property.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I want to become more present with my family.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: I want to just increase the revenue of my business to$5 million a year.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: And now you close your eyes and you make the future real.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: What does an ordinary Tuesday look like, right?
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: When you've achieved it?
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: What do you feel like when you wake up?
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: How do you carry yourself?
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Who have you become to be the leader that you want to be to your family?
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: And this is only step one.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Now it becomes the most parts and most important part that people avoid.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Identify the obstacles.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Not the economy, not your competition, not your schedule, right?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: What is the obstacle inside of you that potentially has presented itself before because you weren't ready for it?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: But it's going to show up at the time even on this journey.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Maybe you quit because your progress just slows down a little bit, right?
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: You get out of the gate, you start losing all this weight.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: And then in week three or week four, right?
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: You slowly stop losing so much weight every week, right?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: So it feels debilitating, but you forget to imagine in your mind that although you're now losing fat, you're gaining back muscle, right?
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: So you're starting to gain that purpose.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe you reach for your phone whenever something becomes uncomfortable, right?
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: It's so easy to just scroll on TikTok instead of going out there and making that one call.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've had a past failure and your confidence is down and you're worried your confidence is going to waver and you're going to keep that as a path forward of why you're waiting to act.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Now, name the real obstacle because you can't defeat the enemy that you don't identify.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: The enemy is going to constantly show up in your mind.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: It's going to constantly be present.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: And here's the hardest truth.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Every morning, you're going to wake up with that same opponent in front of you and you're going to look them in the mirror and you're going to have those doubts.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: And it's going to come back each and every day.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: But if you don't know the enemy that you're facing, if you don't know the person that's going to resist at all the paths each time there's a struggle, well, then how are you going to conquer them?
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I want to skip my morning workout.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Well, then if I put my shoes on and I move for 10 minutes, well, okay, I've gotten it done.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: I feel afraid to make that, I'm afraid to make that call.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Well, then I'm just going to dial and I'm just going to give myself no time to negotiate.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: If a deal falls apart, then I'm going to review the lesson and make the next call within the 24 hours to find the next deal.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I have to conjure what the failure is going to look with in my mind.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And I'll have to see it and see what could stop me from taking action.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: And then I have to decide in advance, what am I going to do next?
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: When that thing ups up, when that perfect scenario looks in front of me.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: And then I get sighed and just taken out of context and just put down on my back because something hits me.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: What am I going to do?
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Am I going to give up or am I going to find a path forward?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Your plan gives you a path.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Your actions become real because it gives you a chance.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: And you stop using your mind only as a replay of the past.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: You start using your mind as a path forward to connect the dots to the future that you truly deserve to have.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Use this in your life.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Go out there.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Take action today.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: All right, that's what I have today.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: I'm Jason Russi.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Let's do this.
