FLORILEGIUM - 8. In Parenthesis
In episode 8 we continue to delve into David Jones’s world of signs with an excerpt from part III of ‘In Parenthesis’, the second reading from Laetare Sunday (Ephesians 2:4-10), and a discussion of flower symbology and the importance of names. Music: Psalm 46, verses 1 and 2 improvised in Gaelic by parishioners on the Isle of Lewis.
Florilegium is a programme on Radio Maria which seeks to weave together liturgy, literature and gardening in rambling, hopefully fruitful ways. It is written and presented by Kate Banks and Antonia Shack.
