Uso to be Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed. 58 00:02:47,900 --> 00:02:50,900 You and I had Roman Reigns and J. Uso in this one. 59 00:02:50,900 --> 00:02:52,900 It was a great way to kick off SummerSlam Night One 60 00:02:52,900 --> 00:02:54,700 with a fun tag team match. 61 00:02:54,700 --> 00:02:56,700 The big story here was Reigns sacrificing himself 62 00:02:56,700 --> 00:02:59,600 with a good of J. Uso allowing J to take out Bronson 63 00:02:59,600 --> 00:03:03,300 for the win after a rough stretch since losing the World title. 64 00:03:03,300 --> 00:03:05,300 J really needed this moment. 65 00:03:05,300 --> 00:03:08,100 The big question now, where does Roman go from here? 66 00:03:08,100 --> 00:03:13,100 We've got a decent idea being that there is something going on 67 00:03:13,100 --> 00:03:17,600 this past Monday night, but nonetheless, your thoughts on this match. 68 00:03:17,600 --> 00:03:19,900 Yeah, really fun, hard hitting match. 69 00:03:19,900 --> 00:03:22,700 I mean, they kind of went balls to the wall in this one. 70 00:03:22,700 --> 00:03:24,700 So I really enjoyed it. 71 00:03:24,700 --> 00:03:28,500 I think it elevated Bronson and Braun. 72 00:03:28,500 --> 00:03:32,500 By the way, I know you and I talked about it calling them the Bronnies. 73 00:03:32,500 --> 00:03:35,100 How about the Legion of Braun? 74 00:03:35,100 --> 00:03:37,100 There's another name I came up with this week. 75 00:03:37,100 --> 00:03:40,500 But yeah, like just really fun, hard hitting match. 76 00:03:40,500 --> 00:03:43,500 And a really awesome way to kick off SummerSlam. 77 00:03:43,500 --> 00:03:45,500 Yeah, it was a great way to kick off the show 78 00:03:45,500 --> 00:03:48,500 and kind of gave a little bit of a foreshadowing 79 00:03:48,500 --> 00:03:50,900 what would take place later in the night next match here. 80 00:03:50,900 --> 00:03:54,500 Shard Flare and Alexa Bliss defeating the judgment day to win the WWE women's 81 00:03:54,500 --> 00:03:57,700 tag team championship both Dr. Trey and I had Flare and Bliss in this one. 82 00:03:57,700 --> 00:04:00,700 It's great to see the women's tag team division getting some well deserved attention, 83 00:04:00,700 --> 00:04:04,000 especially with two entertaining and intriguing teams handing into this match. 84 00:04:04,000 --> 00:04:07,300 I really enjoyed the tease of Bliss and Flare turning on each other after acts. 85 00:04:07,300 --> 00:04:09,200 Alexa accidentally hits Charlotte. 86 00:04:09,200 --> 00:04:11,400 It had its intention and unpredictability. 87 00:04:11,400 --> 00:04:14,900 This parent has the feel of one of those organic teams like team Hellnow 88 00:04:14,900 --> 00:04:18,100 that fans can really rally behind and that could help 89 00:04:18,100 --> 00:04:20,200 rebuttalize both of their careers. 90 00:04:20,200 --> 00:04:24,700 Dr. Trey, your thoughts here is Flare and Bliss are our new tag team champs. 91 00:04:24,700 --> 00:04:28,400 Yeah, I don't know about you, but like when the match start I'm looking at it going. 92 00:04:28,400 --> 00:04:30,700 They're almost mirror images of each other. 93 00:04:30,700 --> 00:04:34,500 Like you have the big person, Raquel, the little person, Roxanne. 94 00:04:34,500 --> 00:04:38,200 Charlotte is pretty tall in athletic and then you got Alexa Bliss. 95 00:04:38,200 --> 00:04:43,300 I'm like, man, this is kind of like, you know, it's almost like evil version versus good version. 96 00:04:43,300 --> 00:04:45,300 But I love the match for what it was. 97 00:04:47,300 --> 00:04:51,300 I don't know if it was a throwaway line, but I think it was Wade Bader said. 98 00:04:51,300 --> 00:04:56,300 Charlotte said that this is the most fun she's had in her career and it is translating. 99 00:04:56,300 --> 00:04:58,600 Like she looks like she's having fun. 100 00:04:58,600 --> 00:05:02,500 I think that's what's making the fans kind of get behind her. 101 00:05:02,500 --> 00:05:07,700 Because her character even in the entrance and everything else still makes you want to dislike her. 102 00:05:07,700 --> 00:05:12,500 But that fun is translating and that's what people get behind and you're right. 103 00:05:12,500 --> 00:05:15,700 It's those odd ball pairings that we kind of love. 104 00:05:15,700 --> 00:05:20,400 And it is a good way to kind of put a spotlight on the women's tag division. 105 00:05:20,400 --> 00:05:23,800 We have Charlotte and Alexa kind of leading the charge right now. 106 00:05:23,800 --> 00:05:28,100 Yeah, I love organic pairings like this like stuff that comes out of nowhere. 107 00:05:28,100 --> 00:05:30,000 I mainly think of obviously as I mentioned for team. 108 00:05:30,000 --> 00:05:32,300 I'll know so it's been a lot of fun for Flare and Bliss. 109 00:05:32,300 --> 00:05:35,100 And the judgment day Roxanne and Raquel have been really good lately. 110 00:05:35,100 --> 00:05:38,800 So fun one here is we have new tag team champions. 111 00:05:38,800 --> 00:05:40,900 Next match is Sammy's a defeating carrying cross. 112 00:05:40,900 --> 00:05:43,300 You and I both had carrying cross in this one. 113 00:05:43,300 --> 00:05:46,100 What was the point of running this rematch at SummerSlam? 114 00:05:46,100 --> 00:05:49,100 If carrying cross was just going to take another loss to Sammy's aim. 115 00:05:49,100 --> 00:05:52,200 The only explanation that makes sense is something behind the scenes. 116 00:05:52,200 --> 00:05:54,600 Maybe cross and Scarlett's 11 and resign with the company. 117 00:05:54,600 --> 00:05:57,700 According reports from Fightful Select as of Tuesday. 118 00:05:57,700 --> 00:06:02,400 Cross and Scarlett's contracts are set to expire this weekend. 119 00:06:02,400 --> 00:06:04,500 They'd worn on raw on Monday night. 120 00:06:04,500 --> 00:06:08,200 It would appear to me that potentially their time with the way we may be up, Dr. Dre. 121 00:06:08,200 --> 00:06:11,700 Your thoughts here are Sammy's aim defeats carrying cross. 122 00:06:11,700 --> 00:06:15,500 Yeah, I mean, it was a good match, but yeah, it wasn't the result we were looking for. 123 00:06:15,500 --> 00:06:19,700 I mean, carrying cross has kind of organically got himself over. 124 00:06:19,700 --> 00:06:22,900 He's getting, you know, great response from the audience. 125 00:06:22,900 --> 00:06:28,900 But yeah, like what's the point in having cross lose to PLE matches the same as AIN. 126 00:06:28,900 --> 00:06:33,500 If we're not getting a payoff, it is weird that they haven't signed the deals yet. 127 00:06:33,500 --> 00:06:38,500 I guess, you know, whatever it is, but I know cross that came out said like he's not one of those guys 128 00:06:38,500 --> 00:06:45,300 that runs away from challenges like he has loved this time and W to me despite the struggles. 129 00:06:45,300 --> 00:06:51,600 It's just weird they haven't ironed this out because once again, like merchandise numbers are king in a lot of this stuff. 130 00:06:51,600 --> 00:06:58,200 And crosses merchandise is top five for a guy who hasn't been pushed is incredible. 131 00:06:58,200 --> 00:07:04,300 So yeah, just a weird result, but if it's from behind the scene stuff, it makes sense. 132 00:07:04,300 --> 00:07:11,500 But it's just weird that you would put this match on Summerslam knowing you don't have the guy signed because 133 00:07:11,500 --> 00:07:19,300 Sammy winning doesn't do a lot for Sammy because he's kind of expected to win and it just kind of hurts cross in the long run. 134 00:07:19,300 --> 00:07:24,500 Next match here is Tiffany Stratton defeating Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women's Championship. 135 00:07:24,500 --> 00:07:26,700 Dr. Strandon both had Jade Cargill in this one. 136 00:07:26,700 --> 00:07:28,300 This is a surprisingly strong match. 137 00:07:28,300 --> 00:07:31,700 I thought both Tiffany and Jade delivered one of the best performances to date. 138 00:07:31,700 --> 00:07:37,100 It may have been a bit short, but it's all the solid story, feature some impressive spots and was executed cleanly. 139 00:07:37,100 --> 00:07:41,100 The chemistry between them really stood out and I'd love to see these two go out again. 140 00:07:41,100 --> 00:07:45,300 The result was quite surprising because it has felt like Jade has been the chosen one. 141 00:07:45,300 --> 00:07:52,500 There were some reports following this match that maybe WWE has lost a little bit of confidence in Jade Cargill, which I find a bit strange 142 00:07:52,500 --> 00:07:55,100 because I actually think she's getting better in the ring. 143 00:07:55,100 --> 00:08:00,500 The character is getting better and I think the long term for her as a heal could be very, very good. 144 00:08:00,500 --> 00:08:03,900 Dr. Tray, your thoughts here as Tiffany retains over Jade? 145 00:08:03,900 --> 00:08:07,900 Yeah, I was surprised at the result because like you said, we both picked Jade to win. 146 00:08:07,900 --> 00:08:11,500 I thought that was the way they were positioning her. 147 00:08:11,500 --> 00:08:15,500 It also kind of creates a void in the women's division on SmackDown. 148 00:08:15,500 --> 00:08:19,500 Like is Bianca the next person up to go for Tiffany if it does? 149 00:08:19,500 --> 00:08:20,500 What is that? 150 00:08:20,500 --> 00:08:24,500 That's our planning to seize for Jade and Bianca down the line. 151 00:08:24,500 --> 00:08:28,300 I read those reports and I'm like, well, if that's the case, why do you have a win, Quinn or the ring? 152 00:08:28,300 --> 00:08:34,300 Like it makes no sense. Like why put her in a position to fail if you've lost confidence in her? 153 00:08:34,300 --> 00:08:38,700 Just push her down a little bit organically and then let her rebuild herself. 154 00:08:38,700 --> 00:08:40,500 But I thought the match was fine. 155 00:08:40,500 --> 00:08:49,900 This was like one of Jade's best performances since she's been in WWE and Tiffany's not known for carrying people through a match. 156 00:08:49,900 --> 00:08:56,700 So the fact that these two went out and had a really good solid match, I give credit to both girls because they aren't really known for that yet. 157 00:08:56,700 --> 00:09:00,900 So I thought it was a great job for both ladies, but yeah, surprising results. 158 00:09:00,900 --> 00:09:05,300 Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul defeat Randy Orton and Jelly Roll, Dr. Trane and Randy Orton. 159 00:09:05,300 --> 00:09:13,100 Jelly Roll in this one. We've definitely seen better celebrity in-ring performances recently and unfortunately that's the standard Jelly Roll is being compared to. 160 00:09:13,100 --> 00:09:16,500 The fraud splashed through the announcer's table was a gnarly bump for him to take. 161 00:09:16,500 --> 00:09:21,500 But what I don't get is the Foley-esque stretcher spot from like Palinist L98. 162 00:09:21,500 --> 00:09:24,700 He gets carried out only to return and they get pin moments later. 163 00:09:24,700 --> 00:09:30,500 Maybe it's meant to set up a future rematch, but without a meaningful payoff, it just feels like an unnecessary beat. 164 00:09:30,500 --> 00:09:34,700 Dr. Trane, your thoughts here as McIntyre, Logan Paul get the victory. 165 00:09:34,700 --> 00:09:40,700 Is it weird that I didn't hate Jelly Rolls for performance because we talked about it on last week's show? 166 00:09:40,700 --> 00:09:43,700 My expectations were super low. 167 00:09:43,700 --> 00:09:46,700 And he took some bumps that I didn't think he would take. 168 00:09:46,700 --> 00:09:48,700 I thought he did okay. 169 00:09:48,700 --> 00:09:53,700 The stretcher spot is weird because it's like, all right, Jelly Roll is not McFully. 170 00:09:53,700 --> 00:09:59,700 And Jelly Roll coming back to the ring for the save doesn't make a ton of sense. 171 00:09:59,700 --> 00:10:07,700 I would have prepared to see them cart Randy out, let Jelly Roll show some heart taking a beating and then Randy make the save. 172 00:10:07,700 --> 00:10:09,700 And then still let Jelly Roll get pin or whatever. 173 00:10:09,700 --> 00:10:17,700 But yeah, it's just, it's weird that people are hating on it because I don't know what their expectations were because 174 00:10:17,700 --> 00:10:21,700 Dude's not an athlete, just a big dude. 175 00:10:21,700 --> 00:10:24,700 It's kind of like, what's that guy's name? 176 00:10:24,700 --> 00:10:26,700 Oh, the guy that is all the impressions. 177 00:10:26,700 --> 00:10:28,700 No, he's got mad TV. 178 00:10:28,700 --> 00:10:30,700 Will Sasso. 179 00:10:30,700 --> 00:10:32,700 Will Sasso, like his match with Brett Hart. 180 00:10:32,700 --> 00:10:35,700 You know, I was like, I wasn't expecting a five star classic. 181 00:10:35,700 --> 00:10:41,700 I was expecting to see kind of a guy show a little bit of grit, a little bit of determination and just get through it. 182 00:10:41,700 --> 00:10:45,700 I thought Jelly Roll accomplished that, but it is a weird result. 183 00:10:45,700 --> 00:10:49,700 I think that's why we're getting Logan Paul and Jelly Roll at Royal Rumble or something. 184 00:10:49,700 --> 00:10:58,700 I don't really know what the pay off is and what this does for anybody, especially because it doesn't help Drew and Logan because they beat a musician. 185 00:10:58,700 --> 00:11:04,700 It doesn't help Randy because he picked Jelly Roll and it doesn't help Jelly Roll because he took the pin. 186 00:11:04,700 --> 00:11:10,700 So I don't understand what the upside of all this was other than just getting views on Summerslam. 187 00:11:10,700 --> 00:11:14,700 Which I think is a big thing nowadays and that was kind of the end result of both shows that we'll talk about later on here. 188 00:11:14,700 --> 00:11:17,700 But yeah, props to Jelly Roll. He was a down-to-performance center. 189 00:11:17,700 --> 00:11:23,700 According to a lot of reports, he was there like the last several weeks, almost like a month plus, really training for this match. 190 00:11:23,700 --> 00:11:29,700 You could totally see that the undertaker showed him how to slap on a choke slam by the way he does it. 191 00:11:29,700 --> 00:11:37,700 But they got to work on like his facials because he looks like dumbfounded and like a sad puppy dog way too much. 192 00:11:37,700 --> 00:11:40,700 And yeah, it looks that way. 193 00:11:40,700 --> 00:11:43,700 He looks that way in real life. 194 00:11:43,700 --> 00:11:45,700 Maybe it's not working. 195 00:11:45,700 --> 00:11:50,700 Yeah, you see my the award shows like your winner Jelly Roll, he still looks sad. 196 00:11:50,700 --> 00:11:52,700 Yeah, like oh, shocks. 197 00:11:52,700 --> 00:11:56,700 Yeah, he just has that like E or persona about him, I guess. 198 00:11:56,700 --> 00:12:03,700 He certainly does, but props for him, but comparing him to the other celebrities is quite difficult lately because they've done a really good job. 199 00:12:03,700 --> 00:12:10,700 And then our main event match here, so we thought CM Punk defeats Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship. We both had CM Punk in this one. 200 00:12:10,700 --> 00:12:18,700 This is a pretty damn good match with some great storytelling. CM Punk spent most of it getting beaten down only to capitalize on Gunther celebrating steal the win. 201 00:12:18,700 --> 00:12:20,700 Gunther gets busted open. 202 00:12:20,700 --> 00:12:25,700 Gunther getting busted open works well to write him off for the report of no surgery that he needs. 203 00:12:25,700 --> 00:12:28,700 And also sets the stage for what came next. 204 00:12:28,700 --> 00:12:34,700 Let's just start with this match, Dr. Trey. This was a damn good match. CM Punk defeats Gunther. 205 00:12:34,700 --> 00:12:39,700 Was this his best match? He's been back. This one in the Drew Hell in the Cell match, right? 206 00:12:39,700 --> 00:12:42,700 Yeah, I would probably well, I like to see in the match with Cena. 207 00:12:42,700 --> 00:12:50,700 Yeah, that was good too. So yeah, I mean, Punk maybe has maybe not wrestled up to our expectations since he came back. 208 00:12:50,700 --> 00:13:00,700 Because it's been about a year and a half now. But it's one of the things is the, I guess the old Toby Keith song. I'm not as good as I once was. But I'm as good once as I ever was. 209 00:13:00,700 --> 00:13:08,700 That's kind of how I feel about Punk. Like when it's the big stage and he knows all eyes are at him. He can pull a rabbit out of his head. 210 00:13:08,700 --> 00:13:15,700 But you know, for the most part, it hasn't been some, you know, not great matches, but this one is up there. Like this was a really damn good match. 211 00:13:15,700 --> 00:13:27,700 And maybe credit goes to Gunther for carrying Drew through this match, but yeah, the Gunther getting busted open the way the match was set up. I thought it was really well done. 212 00:13:27,700 --> 00:13:32,700 And and Punk now can add one more world championship to his resume. 213 00:13:32,700 --> 00:13:40,700 And then the match that we didn't know what was going what was. I mean, it was not on the card as Seth Rollins defeats CM Punk to win the World of the World Championship. 214 00:13:40,700 --> 00:13:47,700 We obviously did not predict this one. I'm honestly pretty irked at the rumors and subtle hits. Spoil look could have been a jaw dropping surprise. 215 00:13:47,700 --> 00:13:53,700 Could you have imagined the reaction if no one saw this coming? That said, it was so fantastic finish to the show. 216 00:13:53,700 --> 00:13:57,700 And added, added even more fuel to the Seth Rollins versus CM Punk feud. 217 00:13:57,700 --> 00:14:05,700 An awesome way to close out night one of Summer Slam. Dr. Trey, there's been a lot of comparisons to hear the ruse of the century. 218 00:14:05,700 --> 00:14:15,700 They compared it to Willie Wonka looking like he was had crutches and threw them down from Seth Rollins. 219 00:14:15,700 --> 00:14:20,700 Lots to discuss here, but your thoughts Seth Rollins defeats CM Punk to become World of the Way Champion. 220 00:14:20,700 --> 00:14:23,700 I mean, didn't we both predict this last week? 221 00:14:23,700 --> 00:14:24,700 Yes, yes we did. 222 00:14:24,700 --> 00:14:31,700 Yeah, so I mean, I don't understand if he was saying, oh, they ruined it. I'm like, no, this is kind of what Jeff and I said last week. 223 00:14:31,700 --> 00:14:39,700 So it's not like the internet scolded. I mean, if you're a diehard wrestling fan, you kind of saw this coming because they hadn't really talked about it. 224 00:14:39,700 --> 00:14:45,700 Usually the guy goes in for knee surgery. There's photos and videos of them having the surgery and all that stuff. 225 00:14:45,700 --> 00:14:48,700 We didn't see any of that stuff. 226 00:14:48,700 --> 00:14:52,700 But it plays into the story really well. 227 00:14:52,700 --> 00:15:01,700 I mean, Seth has kind of become the new edge like the ultimate opportunist. It fits into the character. It fits into the storyline. 228 00:15:01,700 --> 00:15:08,700 It keeps the punk Rollins rivalry going, which is going on almost a year now, a year almost. 229 00:15:08,700 --> 00:15:15,700 So it's one of those like organic natural rivalries that people always wanted to in and watch. 230 00:15:15,700 --> 00:15:23,700 So I like what they did. I like that. I think I remember Rollins, like only three people knew this was happening and I'm like, no, there was more than that. 231 00:15:23,700 --> 00:15:37,700 But still it's just like, you know, but it also ties into the stuff with like, you know, we saw on Monday night with you know, Becky and Mickey and then, you know, the allegiance of Becky to her husband and both being heels and playing into that. 232 00:15:37,700 --> 00:15:55,700 So I thought it was really well done and kind of makes sense given where we're headed with the direction of the show right now. And then also with Gunther being off TV for a few months means Seth can have a decent little run fighting baby faces until Gunther comes back and we just, and we figure out if he's a baby face or a heel when he comes back. 233 00:15:55,700 --> 00:16:11,700 So what I liked most from this entire thing was that WWE played homage to CM Punk's time in AEW by equal in the amount of time he held the AW world championship as to hold in the world every title in this match. 234 00:16:11,700 --> 00:16:18,700 So I think the AW title he held maybe like a day or two longer. Do I have that right? 235 00:16:18,700 --> 00:16:30,700 Yeah, because he went it and then lose the next day. Yeah, yeah, something went happen. And Drew's in Drew's title run, I think was 10 seconds longer than Punk's. 236 00:16:30,700 --> 00:16:39,700 Yes, probably I think so. There's somebody's definitely got a clock that they could compare it to. So nonetheless, that was a great way to close out night one. 237 00:16:39,700 --> 00:16:49,700 And I have both one three and three on the night. And let's go over to night two here is Naomi defeats Rio Ripley and EO Sky to retain the women's world championship. 238 00:16:49,700 --> 00:16:58,700 Both Dr. Trey and I had Naomi in this one. I like to finish. It looked like Rio was finally about to defeat EO Sky only for Naomi to sneak in and steal the pin on Rhea. 239 00:16:58,700 --> 00:17:08,700 They really shouldn't have taken the title off of Naomi so soon. That said, the ongoing storyline of Rhea chasing the title and eventually overcoming EO Sky is genuinely compelling. 240 00:17:08,700 --> 00:17:18,700 I'm curious to see when they finally pulled the trigger on Rhea being EO EO as EO will also be taking on Naomi on this Monday's edition of Raw Over in Quebec City Quebec. 241 00:17:18,700 --> 00:17:22,700 Dr. Trey, your thoughts here on the women's world championship triple threat match. 242 00:17:22,700 --> 00:17:30,700 I thought it was a really solid match. It kind of went the way I thought it would be where I kind of thought that Rhea would have the upper hand. I'm the pin. 243 00:17:30,700 --> 00:17:43,700 I thought it would be the old Rhea hits the big move and then Naomi dumps Rhea out of Penzio. So Naomi taking or getting the pin on Rhea once again it also gives Naomi extra credibility. 244 00:17:43,700 --> 00:17:53,700 Plus she got the big champion interest like she got live music and that just shows me that like hey they are really investing in this direction. Naomi is going for us. 245 00:17:53,700 --> 00:17:56,700 She may have a little longer title run than we all kind of think. 246 00:17:56,700 --> 00:18:07,700 Next match here is the Y-6 defeating Andrade and Ray Phoenix DIY, Fraxium, Motor City machine guns and the Street Profits in a 6-pack tables, ladders and chairs match to retain the WWE tag team. 247 00:18:07,700 --> 00:18:16,700 Championship both Dr. Trey and had the Y-6 in this one. This was a really strong match and could go down as one of those TLC bouts we remember for years to come. 248 00:18:16,700 --> 00:18:32,700 The table symphony spot was incredible one after another after another and I loved the Easter egg tributes to classic TLC matches sprinkled throughout. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up over time compared to the post-wrestling of any TLC match featuring the Profits, Motor City machine guns and DIY. 249 00:18:32,700 --> 00:18:37,700 That said I wasn't a fan of the finish once all the Y-6 got involved. 250 00:18:37,700 --> 00:18:48,700 If WWE's creative goal is to turn them heel it's working but if that's not the intention then there's a real issue because fans clearly aren't enjoying how their winning matches right now. 251 00:18:48,700 --> 00:18:57,700 Outside of that this match was amazing which I expected. Dr. Trey your thoughts on the 6-pack TLC match. 252 00:18:57,700 --> 00:19:08,700 A beautiful symphony of chaos. I was worried if you remember last week's show I was like this was probably the biggest TLC match we've ever seen and I've never seen a show. 253 00:19:08,700 --> 00:19:17,700 12 people in the match and then I said if you count the Y-6 and can this like 16 people were going to get involved in this match. 254 00:19:17,700 --> 00:19:28,700 It's like a mini battle royale in a lot of ways just adding in the tables ladders and chairs so the fact that it came together so beautifully done I gotta give those people a ton of credit. 255 00:19:28,700 --> 00:19:46,700 They probably had multiple producers on this match to sort out all the people getting involved but you're right like the finish with getting all the Y-6 involved is one of the reasons why I've never liked baby face stables because the whole purpose of stable is to have 256 00:19:46,700 --> 00:19:51,700 a managerie of people to help somebody win but that's a very heel thing to do. 257 00:19:51,700 --> 00:20:15,700 I don't think they know what to do with the Wyatt because obviously they're trying to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt and they're trying to keep this a baby face kind of thing to honor him in a sense but like when you got that many people in so much supernatural stuff it's really really hard to make them sympathetic baby faces when they always have the numbers advantage so it's it's a weird conundrum to put them in. 258 00:20:15,700 --> 00:20:26,700 When you're trying to keep them baby face but keeping everybody involved makes them look like heels so I think the fans have a hard time figuring out what direction what what direction to go with this. 259 00:20:26,700 --> 00:20:35,700 Next match here is Becky Lynch defeating Lyra Valcuri and a no disqualification no count out last chance match to retain the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. 260 00:20:35,700 --> 00:20:44,700 With the loss Lyra Valcuri could no longer challenge for the titles long as Becky Lynch is champion. I had Becky Lynch start to trade Lyra Valcuri in this one. 261 00:20:44,700 --> 00:20:52,700 There were a lot of innovative spots in this match like Lyra being tied up with zip ties and chair wrapped around her until Bailey made the safe. 262 00:20:52,700 --> 00:20:55,700 While the match felt a bit long it stayed engaging throughout. 263 00:20:55,700 --> 00:20:59,700 I had a feeling Bailey would get involved in cost Lyra the match especially after a promo on Raw last week. 264 00:20:59,700 --> 00:21:07,700 It's a shame that at least for now we won't be seeing any more Lynch at Lyra matches. They always delivered and really helped elevate Lyra to a whole new level. 265 00:21:07,700 --> 00:21:10,700 Dr. Trey your thoughts on this one is Becky retains. 266 00:21:10,700 --> 00:21:25,700 Yeah like I I get it is kind of the same thing we talked about with the women's tag match like you're putting a make you know a major star kind of on a secondary title to help elevate the title and elevate the people around them. 267 00:21:25,700 --> 00:21:34,700 This might be similar to you know John Cena US open type thing where it's elevating the rest of the division but with that stipulation what do you do with Lyra? 268 00:21:34,700 --> 00:21:44,700 Does she just kind of fall in a favor or do you have her push her up into that mix with Naomi E.O. Rhea and it had Lyra to the mix and then what where does Bailey go from here? 269 00:21:44,700 --> 00:21:54,700 So it's interesting to see what they're doing with this division but you know it's it's a little bit questionable like you're you just built up Lyra for her to lose here. 270 00:21:54,700 --> 00:22:05,700 Where do you see her going now and that's that's the million dollar question from next matches solo sokoa defeating Jacob Fatou and a steel cage match retained in W United States championship I.J. 271 00:22:05,700 --> 00:22:16,700 Big Fatou, Dr. Trian solo sokoa this match felt cut short and ended in an anti-climatic way I wasn't a fan of finish at all rolling out of the ring by the door for solo odd. 272 00:22:16,700 --> 00:22:23,700 The whole point of a steel cage matches to prevent interference and that clearly didn't happen here is the MFTs were heavily involved in this match. 273 00:22:23,700 --> 00:22:30,700 It ended up being one of my least favorite matches of SummerSlam weekend which is disappointing because I usually really enjoy watching Jacob at solo each week. 274 00:22:30,700 --> 00:22:42,700 Dr. Trian your thoughts of solo sokoa retains? Yes a cage matches are now on the same level as me when it comes to submissions like I don't know what we're doing with them. 275 00:22:42,700 --> 00:22:51,700 Like one one show it's you know and we saw a couple like a couple months ago with the sadist event where even Jesse Ventured didn't know what the rules in W.W. 276 00:22:51,700 --> 00:23:08,700 And it's like the steel cage is designed to keep people out but then if everybody's getting involved what's the point. I like it in the sense of hey maybe this means you know Jacob moves up or this rivalry goes along with the bar because solo is one of my guilty pleasure watches right now. 277 00:23:08,700 --> 00:23:17,700 But yeah the match itself I just I never really got into it because it doesn't feel like a steel cage match if everybody's involved. 278 00:23:17,700 --> 00:23:31,700 I just need that finality of like let's keep everybody out and then maybe somebody throws something in or slips somebody something but if it's all just willy nilly anybody can get involved then it defeats the purpose of the steel cage. 279 00:23:31,700 --> 00:23:39,700 Next match here is dominant from stereo defeating AJ Styles to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. I had AJ Styles after a Dom Mysterio. 280 00:23:39,700 --> 00:23:51,700 I loved the tribute to Eddie Guerrero in this match from the classic chair spot to the nod to WrestleMania 20 with Dom losing in his boot to escape a hole that ultimately beating AJ Styles just like Eddie did against Kurt Angle and MSG. 281 00:23:51,700 --> 00:24:03,700 The ring year inspired by the Ray Eddie SummerSlam 2005 match was a great touch too. It was nice to see Dom back in the ring especially since his icy title ring has felt a bit lackluster due to the lack of defenses during his injury. 282 00:24:03,700 --> 00:24:10,700 I'd love to see Dom and AJ run it back again. Doctor Tre your thoughts as Dom is still our Intercontinental Champion. 283 00:24:10,700 --> 00:24:19,700 And we talk about guilty pleasures and it still blows me away that four years ago I could not stand as he Dominic Mysterio anywhere near a wrestling ring. 284 00:24:19,700 --> 00:24:27,700 And now he's one of my favorite most entertaining people to watch. Now he's still not a great worker. He's a good worker not great. 285 00:24:27,700 --> 00:24:39,700 I also hate him doing the 619 because it looks lack of daisicle. It just doesn't look impactful at all but the storytelling in this match was fantastic. All the tributes, the nods, the whole nine yards. 286 00:24:39,700 --> 00:24:47,700 It keeps AJ looking strong coming out of it because Dom had to use every trick in the Guerrero book to get the win. 287 00:24:47,700 --> 00:24:54,700 So I loved it on those levels so really, really solid storytelling in this match is which is something I love and grow wrestling. 288 00:24:54,700 --> 00:25:04,700 And then finally speaking of storytelling, Doctor Tre, we have Cody Rhodes defeating John Cena in a Street Fight to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. We both had Cody Rhodes in this one. 289 00:25:04,700 --> 00:25:09,700 An incredibly fun emotional rollercoaster of a true passing of the Torch match. 290 00:25:09,700 --> 00:25:16,700 I was initially skeptical about Cena turning babyface, especially since the SmackDown promo felt like it came out of nowhere or in that a bit. 291 00:25:16,700 --> 00:25:22,700 But it looks like that's here to stay after Brock Lesnar's shocking return and take him out at the end of SummerSlam. 292 00:25:22,700 --> 00:25:28,700 This was a really strong match that had me hooked from start to finish and I'm excited to see where things go from here. 293 00:25:28,700 --> 00:25:33,700 Doctor Tre, plenty to discuss when in guards to John Cena's babyface turn and Brock Lesnar. 294 00:25:33,700 --> 00:25:38,700 But this match on its own was pretty amazing, your thoughts. 295 00:25:38,700 --> 00:25:43,700 John hasn't had a bad match as he's been back and maybe it's because he's hand picking his opponents. 296 00:25:43,700 --> 00:25:50,700 Maybe it is because of storytelling and the nostalgia of what it is but once again, another really, really good match. 297 00:25:50,700 --> 00:26:00,700 Really enjoyed it. The babyface turn out of nowhere like it's all kind of what we expected but it doesn't tie into the heel turn. 298 00:26:00,700 --> 00:26:04,700 Which has got me questioning stuff. We haven't seen the Rock's elimination chamber. 299 00:26:04,700 --> 00:26:07,700 We don't know where that story is going. 300 00:26:07,700 --> 00:26:14,700 Maybe if Rock comes out and says he sent Brock to punish John Cena for losing. 301 00:26:14,700 --> 00:26:19,700 Okay, simple tie into it and then is Rock so gonna for Cody. 302 00:26:19,700 --> 00:26:24,700 I'm excited but I have a lot of questions about where we're going with those two guys. 303 00:26:24,700 --> 00:26:32,700 Arguably your biggest two characters heading into the fall and winter season and we really don't know where they're going with this yet. 304 00:26:32,700 --> 00:26:41,700 It's gonna be a really interesting Smackdown and follow up to this to see where they go but on a match scale, that was a damn good match. 305 00:26:41,700 --> 00:26:47,700 So I would forward to Dr. Shre would five in one you and I are now both tied at 44 and 15 on the year. 306 00:26:47,700 --> 00:26:50,700 We should be betting men at the end of this. 307 00:26:50,700 --> 00:26:53,700 I think Draft Kings does it. 308 00:26:53,700 --> 00:26:57,700 Let's look at match of the night and event rating. I will go first here. 309 00:26:57,700 --> 00:27:02,700 Dr. Shreve for both night one and night two. So night one, I gave a 4.2. 310 00:27:02,700 --> 00:27:08,700 My match of night, CM Punk versus Gunther. Night two, I gave 4.2 as well. 311 00:27:08,700 --> 00:27:14,700 Match the night, John Cena, Cody Rhodes. I thought this was a very, very solid summer slam weekend. 312 00:27:14,700 --> 00:27:19,700 Your thoughts Dr. Shreve, night one, night two event ratings and night one, night two, match the night. 313 00:27:19,700 --> 00:27:27,700 So our night one almost identical 4.2 and also Gunther, Punk and the Rollins cash. 314 00:27:27,700 --> 00:27:33,700 So we're equal on that one. Night two, I gave a 4.0, the solo Jacob match. 315 00:27:33,700 --> 00:27:43,700 It didn't have me that invested Becky and Lyra were a little long. Everything else was fans asking and maybe TLC props if the TLC match was another that may drop it. 316 00:27:43,700 --> 00:27:47,700 And if Cody and Cena didn't have such a great match, that would've made it lower. 317 00:27:47,700 --> 00:27:53,700 But I got a 4.0 but I also have Cena and Cody and I guess Brock as my match of the night. 318 00:27:53,700 --> 00:27:56,700 So there you go. Yeah, I guess Brock's appearance makes it's return. 319 00:27:56,700 --> 00:28:06,700 So there you go. Feel free to chime in at SRTU podcast on X or Facebook dot com slash the solo the show or for Patreon members, Patreon dot com slash SRTU podcast. 320 00:28:06,700 --> 00:28:13,700 We're going to look at some of the big stories here chronologically. Dr. Trial want to keep it in the summer slam weekend first. 321 00:28:13,700 --> 00:28:18,700 Because there's a lot of good stuff here that came out of night one night too. Let's look at the clothes of night one. 322 00:28:18,700 --> 00:28:31,700 So is Seth's injury storyline awesome or did it create mistrust? Let me read a report here. This came to us from wrestle ops on X VAPW insider. 323 00:28:31,700 --> 00:28:39,700 So PW insider on the ending out to night one of summer slam 2025 that saw the Seth Rollins cash in running the bank to become the new world champion. 324 00:28:39,700 --> 00:28:48,700 They put quote at Saturday night's main event they treated Seth Rollins injury as an injury. He did go to Birmingham, Alabama. Well, Raw was there. 325 00:28:48,700 --> 00:28:54,700 If Rollins injury was a work all along very few people were in on it and the company also worked the talent and employees. 326 00:28:54,700 --> 00:29:01,700 Rollins would have also worked his students because he is a resident academy in Iowa. That is a slippery slope. 327 00:29:01,700 --> 00:29:11,700 If you start working the talent and in parentheses if that is what they did and parentheses it can definitely create mistrust. 328 00:29:11,700 --> 00:29:19,700 What the fuck is wrong with these people? I'm sorry. I mean, I I read that and I'm like people are saying this is creating mistrust. 329 00:29:19,700 --> 00:29:27,700 Like I'm if this was 1970 this would be every other day of the week for professional wrestling. I loved it. 330 00:29:27,700 --> 00:29:39,700 I think it was great. As I mentioned before, Dr. Shrey my biggest turn off on the entire thing is that this was rumored for the last three weeks or so three or four weeks when under the injury happened. 331 00:29:39,700 --> 00:29:53,700 It there was this air of it's not legitimate that this is a work. But what would we really do it and if there was a creative team if there was a force that was going to pull it off it would be this version of WWE creative. 332 00:29:53,700 --> 00:30:04,700 And they pulled it off and all I could think of was as he came out and I'm like holy crap like my eyes got big and then we saw the pushing of the the crutches. 333 00:30:04,700 --> 00:30:17,700 It's still a great moment but all I could think of was if there was zero percentage of any story out there being like this is a work this is we always tend to think that but this one had a little bit more fuel to the fire. 334 00:30:17,700 --> 00:30:30,700 And again on the mistrust issue like as a fan I don't feel mistrust like I think this is great they should be doing things like this work the audience give me that old school feel hell we do a podcast called the still real to us show. 335 00:30:30,700 --> 00:30:54,700 And then on the employee standpoint like they do that because they don't want to get it leaked out to the dirt sheets guys like duh no shit do you want to let everybody know this is a work so that they go run the mic Johnson a PW insider and then Mike Johnson puts it out to his elite subscribers because they pay or Sean Ross that puts it up on page his page around page no because eventually gets leaked out to everybody like it's not worth it. 336 00:30:54,700 --> 00:31:21,700 I love dirt sheets I love reading the reports it helps feed fodder for the show I get it but there are so many times in my life I'm like I just wish I could go back where I didn't know what the hell was going on behind the scenes and this was semi one of those moments it was not 100% it's probably like 50% it was like 50 50 because if Rollins came out you know walked off into the sunset so long crutches would go oh man I thought they were teeth they obviously teased it he's legitimately hurt this sucks he's out the next eight to nine months. 337 00:31:21,700 --> 00:31:41,700 If he didn't come out at all we had that same feeling he came out he's back so there's like great job fun storyline and also great job I'm happy Seth is an injured and he's back but did this create mistrust I am completely against that doctor tray your thoughts here was it awesome or did it create mistrust. 338 00:31:41,700 --> 00:32:10,700 I love when you get fired up out of the two of us typically I get fired up and pissed off more than you so when we get in the south we call it red ass we get red ass Jeff Peck I love it it's like it's like I was like when you were like what the fuck I was like I didn't know where you were going with it at first and then when you like blasted the report I'm like no I told you agree like we love when MJF stays in character right but that's him working us. 339 00:32:10,700 --> 00:32:25,700 And then when w e works is like how dare they do that I'm sure every employee is the best of you know what that does when you work the audience people tune in when people tune in guess what the boys get paid more. 340 00:32:25,700 --> 00:32:39,700 So I'm happy with that if there's a guy in the locker room who is pissed off because he got worked he's in the wrong business that's all this is you know the best part about this whole thing Jeff is how much. 341 00:32:39,700 --> 00:33:08,700 Like backlash did you also see about wwe unreal where they're showing the behind the scene stuff and then a week later everybody gets worked which basically shows you that the whole thing is smoking mirrors like it's literally just to kind of give us a taste and then not show you how the magic actually is done like I loved everything about this even though you and I sat here and said this is probably what's going to happen. 342 00:33:08,700 --> 00:33:21,700 But the fact that they actually pulled it off and we see backlash from the dirt sheets that she can moaning that they got worked look I said all along I still think set tweaked is neat. 343 00:33:21,700 --> 00:33:37,700 You know like you don't like when you're a Birmingham you don't go visit James Andrew just to go have a lot you're he literally went to the medical center to get his knee checked out and there was structurally no damage it was just a tweak let's play with that and run with it. 344 00:33:37,700 --> 00:34:06,700 And they did a great job you and I were last week talking about like Ron breakers stepping up as the leader of the group while set this out like the fact that they worked everybody is a tribute to how good programming can be what is done correctly I said earlier I don't think it was only three people that knew what was going on like there were a handful of people but those people know to keep their mouth shut and don't ruin the element of the world. 345 00:34:06,700 --> 00:34:11,100 ruin the element of surprise that is what draws people into pro wrestling. 346 00:34:11,100 --> 00:34:13,460 Like we talked about it when Hogan passed. 347 00:34:13,460 --> 00:34:19,040 Like the whole Piper's pit with Andre ripping the cross off as a kid, I bought into that. 348 00:34:19,040 --> 00:34:26,740 As a kid, if you're a CM punk fan and he captures a title and then Seth Hood winks everybody and 349 00:34:26,740 --> 00:34:33,280 cashes in and steals the belt, you're now going to be a lifelong wrestling fan because of that moment. 350 00:34:33,280 --> 00:34:37,960 Like it's things like that is what cement's lifelong viewership as well. 351 00:34:37,960 --> 00:34:44,520 So W.W. is there's a ton of credit for keeping it under wraps, keeping it hidden and getting a big payup at the end. 352 00:34:44,520 --> 00:34:52,360 And if Mike Johnson is Sean, they're all sat and those guys are pissed off that they didn't have the scoop, do a better job at getting scoops. 353 00:34:52,360 --> 00:34:53,560 That's all you can say. 354 00:34:53,560 --> 00:35:02,560 Yeah, I mistrust my ass and if you think I pissed off about about this way to you, we get towards in the show because I'm pretty worked about something. 355 00:35:03,520 --> 00:35:06,440 Next thing here, Dr. Tray is obviously the return of Brock Lesnar. 356 00:35:06,440 --> 00:35:15,400 There's a lot of controversy surrounding him rightfully so because he was named in the sex trafficking case that John Laurenidas, 357 00:35:15,400 --> 00:35:24,560 Vince McMahon, a part of Brock Lesnar has been named in this case and he was removed like two years ago from the World 358 00:35:24,560 --> 00:35:36,520 of 2023 weekend when the case dropped or was filed and Brock was basically summarized. 359 00:35:36,520 --> 00:35:40,880 He was not named in the case but it was like a former UFC champion and WWE champion. 360 00:35:40,880 --> 00:35:44,040 Well, I'm sure they're not sending pictures to Ronda Rousey folks. 361 00:35:44,040 --> 00:35:47,760 So it was pretty, you never know with Vince. 362 00:35:47,760 --> 00:35:53,240 He's kind of a free base on this case, allegedly, reportedly, however you want to put it. 363 00:35:53,240 --> 00:35:56,000 So Brock is allegedly part of this case. 364 00:35:56,000 --> 00:35:57,040 He makes his return. 365 00:35:57,040 --> 00:36:05,320 I did not think he was ever coming back quite honestly and when Cena was walking out in the music kit, it was a holy shit moment. 366 00:36:05,320 --> 00:36:12,400 Again, cloud of controversy around this, similar to the Seth Rollins stuff, but on a completely different level, 367 00:36:12,400 --> 00:36:15,600 different topics at John Rauss level in that sense. 368 00:36:15,600 --> 00:36:19,080 It was more like holy crap that really doing this because did not see this anywhere. 369 00:36:19,080 --> 00:36:21,880 Nobody was even talking about Brock returning. 370 00:36:21,880 --> 00:36:29,640 So there's actually as we're recording this show, there's a bit of an interesting twist and update to this because on Sunday night, 371 00:36:29,640 --> 00:36:35,240 WWE got rid of the press conferences and now we understand why because of the Brock stuff. 372 00:36:35,240 --> 00:36:40,120 There was a huge contingent of people being like these are pointless, they make no sense for WWE. 373 00:36:40,120 --> 00:36:43,960 They got rid of them, they were applauded and then Brock comes back and they're like, oh, that's why they did it. 374 00:36:43,960 --> 00:36:46,200 Just funny how people think, but nonetheless. 375 00:36:46,200 --> 00:36:49,880 So in the post show, Triple H was asked about Brock returning. 376 00:36:49,880 --> 00:36:53,520 And again, this comes to us from WrestleLops and the post show from SummerSlam on night too. 377 00:36:53,520 --> 00:36:58,320 So Triple H states that John Cena essentially wanted Brock Lesnar during his retirement tour. 378 00:36:58,320 --> 00:37:04,440 Quote saying, one of the first things I said to him, Cena, is who do you want and how and we're working through that? 379 00:37:04,440 --> 00:37:05,800 End quote. 380 00:37:05,800 --> 00:37:14,040 So as we're recording this show, this quote comes out and it comes to us from WrestlePieres via Adam Glyn on X. 381 00:37:14,040 --> 00:37:19,040 So John Cena says, they deal him I play him regarding Brock Lesnar's WWE return. 382 00:37:19,040 --> 00:37:24,200 Quote saying, I've been saying the same thing for 25 years, they deal him I play him. 383 00:37:24,200 --> 00:37:25,640 You know, I'm just really excited. 384 00:37:25,640 --> 00:37:27,640 We got like 12 of these things left. 385 00:37:27,640 --> 00:37:32,840 I think SummerSlam was an indication for the audience where everybody kind of knows where we're closing our book. 386 00:37:32,840 --> 00:37:37,800 And just because I closed my book in December, that doesn't mean the WWE closes its book. 387 00:37:37,800 --> 00:37:41,640 They got it to continue their programming going forward. 388 00:37:41,640 --> 00:37:44,600 So they're just trying to make the most exciting shows for the fans. 389 00:37:44,600 --> 00:37:49,360 A dozen of them, a dozen of them I got left, they deal him I play him. 390 00:37:49,360 --> 00:37:54,560 So Sunday night Triple H basically says we brought Brock back because Cena wanted him. 391 00:37:54,560 --> 00:38:00,320 Cena says on Tuesday, they deal him I play him regarding Brock Lesnar's return. 392 00:38:00,320 --> 00:38:02,720 Now there's a little bit of like an intriguing twist on this thing. 393 00:38:02,720 --> 00:38:05,440 So did we do this for Cena? 394 00:38:05,440 --> 00:38:11,000 Because the Cena Lesnar match outside of all the other BS that's going on and with Brock. 395 00:38:11,000 --> 00:38:15,160 Like 100% if Brock did the things that he did or was part of it. 396 00:38:15,160 --> 00:38:18,880 Then yeah, he shouldn't be brought back. 397 00:38:18,880 --> 00:38:26,080 But in this country, in this until proven guilty, unless we're on X or social media basically. 398 00:38:26,080 --> 00:38:30,960 So WWE says John wanted him back. 399 00:38:30,960 --> 00:38:33,400 John says WWE wanted him back. 400 00:38:33,400 --> 00:38:36,680 Where do we stand on this entire thing with a controversy of Brock Lesnar? 401 00:38:36,680 --> 00:38:42,200 Because moving everything aside, Cena Brock retirement tour makes 100% sense. 402 00:38:42,200 --> 00:38:47,160 But there's a shrewd of controversy and a dark cloud over Dutch tre your thoughts on this one. 403 00:38:47,160 --> 00:38:51,120 >> So I'm going to break it down like this. 404 00:38:51,120 --> 00:38:54,440 I think that John wanted Brock back. 405 00:38:54,440 --> 00:38:59,960 They have, I don't know if they're friends, but they have a very high mutual admiration for each other. 406 00:38:59,960 --> 00:39:09,800 Like Cena wouldn't have taken that ass with it in the summer slam, what, 2013, 2014 from Brock, unless he admired Brock. 407 00:39:09,800 --> 00:39:10,640 Like that doesn't happen. 408 00:39:10,640 --> 00:39:15,240 And now we kind of get that chapter closed on this retirement tour. 409 00:39:15,240 --> 00:39:16,000 I'm fine with that. 410 00:39:16,000 --> 00:39:20,720 And to me when Cena says, hey, they deal the cards, I play them. 411 00:39:20,720 --> 00:39:23,480 That doesn't mean they're picking my opponents. 412 00:39:23,480 --> 00:39:25,280 I'm having the matches. 413 00:39:25,280 --> 00:39:32,320 Just like, hey, they're putting people in front of me that I want to work with and then I'm going to make the most out of that thing. 414 00:39:32,320 --> 00:39:36,840 So it was a little bit of like triple H kind of throwing Cena under the bus, but 415 00:39:36,840 --> 00:39:39,560 the same time, Cena is the ultimate politician. 416 00:39:39,560 --> 00:39:44,240 I actually think that he'll be the 51st president if given the opportunity. 417 00:39:44,240 --> 00:39:52,120 To me, it is a little bit of just like, hey, this is a guy that John wanted. 418 00:39:52,120 --> 00:39:59,480 He agreed to it, but John's not going to say he asked for Brock back because of the backlash he'll get if he says that. 419 00:39:59,480 --> 00:40:02,760 So it's a little bit of a both sides play it. 420 00:40:02,760 --> 00:40:12,240 When it comes to Brock coming back though, I don't have an issue with it because I've gone through and kind of read the reports and read the legality of it. 421 00:40:12,240 --> 00:40:16,040 Never once in there is to say that Brock actually has sex with your nel grant. 422 00:40:16,040 --> 00:40:22,080 It says Vince was using her to try to lure him back, but it never says like Brock actually did anything. 423 00:40:22,080 --> 00:40:28,200 And then he's not even in appropriate with her like his actions were not coming up as inappropriate. 424 00:40:28,200 --> 00:40:32,320 It was Vince sending him inappropriate stuff. 425 00:40:32,320 --> 00:40:35,440 And I mean, people can text you a picture and you can't do anything about it. 426 00:40:35,440 --> 00:40:42,680 So I don't have an issue with it because like you said, he's never been accused of anything. 427 00:40:42,680 --> 00:40:44,760 He's never been charged with anything. 428 00:40:44,760 --> 00:40:49,640 To me, it's not even an innocent until proven guilty situation because he's never been accused of anything. 429 00:40:49,640 --> 00:40:54,520 Like he, nothing has come out this that said Brock did wrong. 430 00:40:54,520 --> 00:40:57,000 So plus, appreciate Brock's wife. 431 00:40:57,000 --> 00:41:01,880 He really pissed off if he did say that and say we'll still even at 60 some years old. 432 00:41:01,880 --> 00:41:04,280 There's still not a chick you want to mess with. 433 00:41:04,280 --> 00:41:08,840 Though a legal, WWE's legal team cleared his return. 434 00:41:08,840 --> 00:41:12,720 So there is, that is a part of the story that is forgotten about here. 435 00:41:12,720 --> 00:41:18,240 So there are people that are under the belief that either he's going to be acquitted, 436 00:41:18,240 --> 00:41:21,400 or moved from the case, that's the onset. 437 00:41:21,400 --> 00:41:24,520 The WWE would not put themselves in this position. 438 00:41:24,520 --> 00:41:32,720 So he is a participant in this entire thing and whether you agree or disagree with this, 439 00:41:32,720 --> 00:41:37,920 I'm just saying this for contextate, I don't necessarily agree with this. 440 00:41:37,920 --> 00:41:41,280 This is a case where men are behaving badly. 441 00:41:41,280 --> 00:41:43,760 This is guys being dudes type stuff. 442 00:41:43,760 --> 00:41:49,640 This is not something that is entirely different from some friend groups out there. 443 00:41:49,640 --> 00:41:51,320 Not all men are like this. 444 00:41:51,320 --> 00:41:56,960 There are certainly people that I have come across in my life that will talk about their 445 00:41:56,960 --> 00:42:01,400 concuss when it comes to relationships like Vince McMahon was doing. 446 00:42:01,400 --> 00:42:07,520 So innocent until proven guilty in the court of law, guilty until proven innocent in the court 447 00:42:07,520 --> 00:42:10,560 of public perception most of the time with cases like this. 448 00:42:10,560 --> 00:42:12,200 It's a very, very slippery slope. 449 00:42:12,200 --> 00:42:14,000 We'll get more information as it comes. 450 00:42:14,000 --> 00:42:19,400 If there's more to this story or more that Brock is involved with, that showcases that he 451 00:42:19,400 --> 00:42:25,400 is a participant in this entire vile disgusting thing, then yeah, WWE should not have brought 452 00:42:25,400 --> 00:42:26,400 him back. 453 00:42:26,400 --> 00:42:31,160 But right now they have brought him back and they're rolling the dice and it's just interesting 454 00:42:31,160 --> 00:42:34,480 because WWE saying no, we John wanted him back. 455 00:42:34,480 --> 00:42:38,040 And when I originally heard that, I'm like John Cena has like this really squeaky clean 456 00:42:38,040 --> 00:42:40,960 like image in public perception. 457 00:42:40,960 --> 00:42:43,120 I'm like, does he really want to be tied to this? 458 00:42:43,120 --> 00:42:45,800 And then Cena is like, no, no, they want to come back. 459 00:42:45,800 --> 00:42:49,120 I'm just playing the cards that they're dealing towards me from my retirement or just 460 00:42:49,120 --> 00:42:52,120 please enjoy this retirement or so. 461 00:42:52,120 --> 00:42:54,480 Very controversial subject. 462 00:42:54,480 --> 00:42:58,760 Outside of all that stuff, boy, it was a huge shock and a major surprise and one, we did 463 00:42:58,760 --> 00:43:00,120 not see coming. 464 00:43:00,120 --> 00:43:05,240 But similar to Seth Rollins' thing, from a wrestling fan's standpoint, it's unfortunate 465 00:43:05,240 --> 00:43:09,400 that there is more to this where you cannot just enjoy the wrestling and there is some outside 466 00:43:09,400 --> 00:43:12,680 stuff that obviously gets in the way. 467 00:43:12,680 --> 00:43:18,960 So WWE wanted him back, Cena wanted him back, somebody wanted him back and he is back as 468 00:43:18,960 --> 00:43:23,600 we will begin in a Brock Lesnar, John Cena match here in short order. 469 00:43:23,600 --> 00:43:27,120 Maybe as soon as Clash and Paris, we will be getting it. 470 00:43:27,120 --> 00:43:30,720 With that said, Dr. Ray, looking at Summer's Fam Week in a Loan Saturday and Sunday, what 471 00:43:30,720 --> 00:43:32,040 was more shocking to you? 472 00:43:32,040 --> 00:43:34,520 Seth's cash in or Lesnar's return? 473 00:43:34,520 --> 00:43:37,360 Lesnar's return for me. 474 00:43:37,360 --> 00:43:42,440 I still thought they were trying, I mean, when you're a publicly traded company that is no 475 00:43:42,440 --> 00:43:51,920 longer owned by the McManager under the TKO and Brella, to get all the machinations together 476 00:43:51,920 --> 00:43:57,720 to get brought cleared, to bring him back, something we haven't seen in two years, for all 477 00:43:57,720 --> 00:44:02,640 reports you as Persona and Grotta, like to see him actually come out. 478 00:44:02,640 --> 00:44:04,480 And by the way, I want that. 479 00:44:04,480 --> 00:44:07,720 And Vesti had on that Vest was badass. 480 00:44:07,720 --> 00:44:09,160 He looked fantastic. 481 00:44:09,160 --> 00:44:13,960 So, and then also, it's a little bit like we talk about Goldberg. 482 00:44:13,960 --> 00:44:21,720 Brock's daughter is a beast herself and Brock, ingratiating himself back into WWE could potentially 483 00:44:21,720 --> 00:44:26,040 lead to my Lesnar having a role in the company when her college career is done. 484 00:44:26,040 --> 00:44:29,440 She's the only guy I think a year left before she graduates. 485 00:44:29,440 --> 00:44:36,720 So, it's a little bit of like, hey, you got somebody that you want to get set up in a good 486 00:44:36,720 --> 00:44:39,520 company that can get you a good career down the road. 487 00:44:39,520 --> 00:44:41,680 Hey, let's make nice and make peace. 488 00:44:41,680 --> 00:44:45,000 And if it makes the company some money, by all means, let's go there. 489 00:44:45,000 --> 00:44:47,720 But yeah, seeing Brock, we didn't call that. 490 00:44:47,720 --> 00:44:52,760 That was not on my 2025 Bingo card, as Charlotte Flair alluded to, earlier this week. 491 00:44:52,760 --> 00:44:57,000 The Seth thing, you and I both predicted it, Brock, we had no idea. 492 00:44:57,000 --> 00:44:59,000 Yeah, I mean, that's the simplest answer. 493 00:44:59,000 --> 00:45:04,360 Well, the Seth Cation was something that was like 50, 50, 75, 25 in our brains. 494 00:45:04,360 --> 00:45:07,600 There were some sort of perceptions that were like, we think this could happen. 495 00:45:07,600 --> 00:45:12,680 Lesnar's return on Sunday, if you asked us on last Thursday, 0% chance. 496 00:45:12,680 --> 00:45:14,160 I did not think they were bringing him back. 497 00:45:14,160 --> 00:45:20,160 I did not think that he would be back until this case was behind him and well behind him. 498 00:45:20,160 --> 00:45:24,240 I don't think he would be removed from the case, then the next day they bring him back. 499 00:45:24,240 --> 00:45:29,040 I think they would want a decent amount of distance from Brock Lesnar being involved with 500 00:45:29,040 --> 00:45:30,040 this case. 501 00:45:30,040 --> 00:45:34,600 So, Brock's returned by far the most shocking thing. 502 00:45:34,600 --> 00:45:37,880 Another thing that we did not have on our Bingo card, Dr. Trey, and then I would even consider 503 00:45:37,880 --> 00:45:41,360 it more shocking than Seth's Cation. 504 00:45:41,360 --> 00:45:45,880 On Friday's SmackDown, John Cena returned to as a babyface. 505 00:45:45,880 --> 00:45:48,640 So he cuts a promo. 506 00:45:48,640 --> 00:45:56,360 Like two weeks prior, they had that Cody Rhodes forged his signature when he was passed out, 507 00:45:56,360 --> 00:45:58,640 put him on the contract and that was legally valid. 508 00:45:58,640 --> 00:46:03,280 Then a week after that, Cody says, I want the old John Cena back. 509 00:46:03,280 --> 00:46:08,200 Then the next week heading into Summer Slam, Cena cuts a promo, cuts off Cody Rhodes, basically 510 00:46:08,200 --> 00:46:15,400 says, you were right, Dwayne and Travis Scott left me behind to their plan and never played 511 00:46:15,400 --> 00:46:18,400 out. 512 00:46:18,400 --> 00:46:19,400 I was hustle, loyalty, respect, the champ is here. 513 00:46:19,400 --> 00:46:22,960 He hit all the notes and he ended his promo. 514 00:46:22,960 --> 00:46:27,120 He walks out and I like to think of it as like, what the hell was that? 515 00:46:27,120 --> 00:46:29,360 He's back as a babyface. 516 00:46:29,360 --> 00:46:33,560 The only thing I can think of was like, okay, so Sunday, we're going to get the entrance, 517 00:46:33,560 --> 00:46:36,640 we're going to get all that stuff, but he's got to turn. 518 00:46:36,640 --> 00:46:39,840 He's got to like fool us again and we're going to be like, damn it, he got us. 519 00:46:39,840 --> 00:46:43,520 We thought we were getting the old John Cena and basically it was like one opportunity 520 00:46:43,520 --> 00:46:50,440 to one more opportunity for him to play the hits and come out until the very end and 521 00:46:50,440 --> 00:46:51,720 that didn't happen. 522 00:46:51,720 --> 00:46:53,720 Instead, he stayed as a babyface. 523 00:46:53,720 --> 00:46:58,760 There were some heal tendencies in that match, no doubt, but he stayed as a babyface, passed 524 00:46:58,760 --> 00:47:03,840 the torch to Cody and now he is a full-fledged babyface again. 525 00:47:03,840 --> 00:47:08,600 Dr. Trey, we talked about this when the elimination chamber moment happened. 526 00:47:08,600 --> 00:47:15,600 He turned heal. 527 00:47:15,600 --> 00:47:20,960 By year end, we just could not imagine he goes off in the sunset as a babyface. 528 00:47:20,960 --> 00:47:26,440 There were some really cool organic things that were happening and I go back to the end 529 00:47:26,440 --> 00:47:31,640 of the Randy Orton John Cena match at Backlash, back in May. 530 00:47:31,640 --> 00:47:36,440 His first title defense as WWE Champion following WrestleMania, he's leaving the ring and you 531 00:47:36,440 --> 00:47:40,960 could see him looking at the fans and he's really thinking to himself, did I make the right 532 00:47:40,960 --> 00:47:41,960 decision here? 533 00:47:41,960 --> 00:47:43,720 It's like, oh, they're teasing it. 534 00:47:43,720 --> 00:47:45,400 They're teasing it. 535 00:47:45,400 --> 00:47:52,360 I felt like that would have been great to get there, but they completely fast-tracked 536 00:47:52,360 --> 00:47:58,440 it, which to me in my mind, bad creative, not well-written payoff after a really cool angle 537 00:47:58,440 --> 00:48:01,960 that they played off in late February, early March. 538 00:48:01,960 --> 00:48:05,120 This basically happened because they knew Brock was returning and they needed to turn 539 00:48:05,120 --> 00:48:07,840 in babyface at some point, which I hate. 540 00:48:07,840 --> 00:48:11,040 There are so many different ways around this. 541 00:48:11,040 --> 00:48:16,800 Like, give me the slow burn where he's really contemplating, like, did I make the right 542 00:48:16,800 --> 00:48:20,800 decision and have him agree to Cody. 543 00:48:20,800 --> 00:48:26,560 Like, you want the old John Cena for one night only, even though I cannot stand these people, 544 00:48:26,560 --> 00:48:29,880 you will get the champ is here, you will get the old John Cena. 545 00:48:29,880 --> 00:48:35,040 And as that match plays out at Summerslam, he is starting to realize the fans are 546 00:48:35,040 --> 00:48:38,840 behind him that he needs to start turning good. 547 00:48:38,840 --> 00:48:43,880 And then he, the match still goes off as the same thing, but he goes into it as a heal, 548 00:48:43,880 --> 00:48:49,120 playing the greatest hits, but comes out of his babyface, shakes Cody's hand, passes the 549 00:48:49,120 --> 00:48:51,200 torch, you're the better man. 550 00:48:51,200 --> 00:48:52,520 I'm sorry. 551 00:48:52,520 --> 00:48:56,640 Brock comes out, lays him out, and then now he's the sympathetic babyface. 552 00:48:56,640 --> 00:48:59,840 And then the next time he returns, whether it's this Friday, it's back down like he's supposed 553 00:48:59,840 --> 00:49:02,680 to be back, or they sell the injury a little bit more. 554 00:49:02,680 --> 00:49:07,560 He apologizes to the fans, telling him I'm back, the champ is here, and you're going to get 555 00:49:07,560 --> 00:49:09,560 the same old hustle, loyalty respect. 556 00:49:09,560 --> 00:49:15,560 I would have liked that to play out more than just a promo basically killed the last six 557 00:49:15,560 --> 00:49:17,520 months of the John Cena character. 558 00:49:17,520 --> 00:49:22,240 I could not believe that he returned to babyface as a babyface that way. 559 00:49:22,240 --> 00:49:23,480 I am pissed. 560 00:49:23,480 --> 00:49:26,960 Are you happy or are you pissed with how this played out? 561 00:49:26,960 --> 00:49:28,640 I'm totally pissed. 562 00:49:28,640 --> 00:49:33,680 This is the worst babyface turn since Alberto Del Rio turned babyface because the Spanish 563 00:49:33,680 --> 00:49:36,680 announced Abel got broken. 564 00:49:36,680 --> 00:49:40,400 If you've been a fan of the show for a long time, you remember that one. 565 00:49:40,400 --> 00:49:47,800 It made zero sense because also you're basically just telling the fans, "Hey, forget what a dick 566 00:49:47,800 --> 00:49:51,400 I've been since the "Lemission Chamber" and all this stuff I've told you guys about how 567 00:49:51,400 --> 00:49:58,560 you mentally abused him and all this stuff for all these years. 568 00:49:58,560 --> 00:49:59,960 Forget I said all that. 569 00:49:59,960 --> 00:50:01,960 It's just back. 570 00:50:01,960 --> 00:50:06,440 And then blaming Rock and I was actually surprised he mentioned Travis Scott because I thought 571 00:50:06,440 --> 00:50:09,960 he was also a person of non-grata in WWE. 572 00:50:09,960 --> 00:50:13,560 It is to me, it's just a lackluster turn. 573 00:50:13,560 --> 00:50:15,680 Am I here when I played it out? 574 00:50:15,680 --> 00:50:18,880 I'm like, "Okay, if you want to get there, you have the match. 575 00:50:18,880 --> 00:50:24,080 You have to do a little bit of shady underhanded stuff." 576 00:50:24,080 --> 00:50:25,720 Then you get to the finish. 577 00:50:25,720 --> 00:50:30,480 John raises Cody's hands and the fans are buying into it and then Brock hits the ring and 578 00:50:30,480 --> 00:50:31,480 cement it. 579 00:50:31,480 --> 00:50:38,960 But to actually have that promo on Friday, it defeats the purpose of the match itself because 580 00:50:38,960 --> 00:50:47,920 you want John to pass the torch by basically Cody out hustling him, doing the John scene 581 00:50:47,920 --> 00:50:49,920 up better than John Cena. 582 00:50:49,920 --> 00:50:52,240 And then get to the Brock payoff. 583 00:50:52,240 --> 00:50:55,840 So yeah, it was just unnecessary. 584 00:50:55,840 --> 00:51:01,200 We saw Super Cena back at the CM Punk match when you know, Bronson Reed comes out and they're 585 00:51:01,200 --> 00:51:05,040 seeing it hitting the attitude of justment on Bronson Reed. 586 00:51:05,040 --> 00:51:06,640 That's Super Cena. 587 00:51:06,640 --> 00:51:08,920 That's not the heel Cena. 588 00:51:08,920 --> 00:51:11,760 But we still got the heel payoff in that match. 589 00:51:11,760 --> 00:51:14,760 But that was the slow burn. 590 00:51:14,760 --> 00:51:20,680 But to do it in that weird promo just kind of felt like paying no attention to the man 591 00:51:20,680 --> 00:51:23,880 behind the curtain is like a little bit of a wizard of Osborne shit. 592 00:51:23,880 --> 00:51:25,920 Yeah, I hate shotgun stuff. 593 00:51:25,920 --> 00:51:29,040 I hate stuff where it's not well written. 594 00:51:29,040 --> 00:51:34,620 And this is going to come off as a shot to AW, but I really am enjoying what AW's been doing 595 00:51:34,620 --> 00:51:35,620 lately. 596 00:51:35,620 --> 00:51:40,760 But what I did not enjoy this past Wednesday's edition of Dynamite was this random way. 597 00:51:40,760 --> 00:51:43,080 MJF just got moved out of the Hertz Indicate. 598 00:51:43,080 --> 00:51:44,080 Like he's no more on the Hertz Indicate. 599 00:51:44,080 --> 00:51:45,560 I'm like, wait, what? 600 00:51:45,560 --> 00:51:50,680 We did weeks and weeks of television where MJF had to earn his way into the Hertz Indicate. 601 00:51:50,680 --> 00:51:51,680 He's in the Hertz Indicate. 602 00:51:51,680 --> 00:51:53,800 It's working really well. 603 00:51:53,800 --> 00:51:54,800 It's great. 604 00:51:54,800 --> 00:51:55,800 And in two weeks time he's gone. 605 00:51:55,800 --> 00:51:58,280 They just removed him and it's from Shelton Benjamin. 606 00:51:58,280 --> 00:52:00,760 I'm like, what the hell just happened here? 607 00:52:00,760 --> 00:52:06,480 And this is similar to the John Cena thing, but on much, much, much larger scale because 608 00:52:06,480 --> 00:52:09,160 this was a widely talked about moment. 609 00:52:09,160 --> 00:52:12,520 And here's what I'm fearful of, Dr. Treyk, as we wrap up everything from the entire 610 00:52:12,520 --> 00:52:13,680 weekend. 611 00:52:13,680 --> 00:52:16,960 Because they did it on Friday night, they did it on Saturday night to close, they did it 612 00:52:16,960 --> 00:52:18,560 on Sunday night to close. 613 00:52:18,560 --> 00:52:25,080 I am really worried that WWE is sacrificing good creative television by just getting 614 00:52:25,080 --> 00:52:29,920 viral moments on social media, whether it be on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, wherever, 615 00:52:29,920 --> 00:52:31,720 X, even. 616 00:52:31,720 --> 00:52:35,920 I think that they want to play these videos where John Cena cuts a promo, they put it up 617 00:52:35,920 --> 00:52:36,920 on YouTube. 618 00:52:36,920 --> 00:52:41,320 They get millions of views on all these platform, all these places on social media that 619 00:52:41,320 --> 00:52:43,760 you could check out and they're happy with it. 620 00:52:43,760 --> 00:52:48,200 They want Seth Rollins to cash in for all the million social views, millions of social 621 00:52:48,200 --> 00:52:50,400 views, same thing with Lesnar's return. 622 00:52:50,400 --> 00:52:56,000 They are sacrificing good creative content, something that made them so good over the last 623 00:52:56,000 --> 00:52:58,560 three years that Triple H took over creative. 624 00:52:58,560 --> 00:53:02,280 And their sacrifice is saying it potentially for social media views. 625 00:53:02,280 --> 00:53:04,520 Like that is my interpretation of this. 626 00:53:04,520 --> 00:53:06,160 Do you think that plays a role into it? 627 00:53:06,160 --> 00:53:10,680 Or am I looking into and depthly as we look back at the entire weekend of Cena is now 628 00:53:10,680 --> 00:53:15,160 a baby face, Seth Cashin and Brock Lesnar returns to WWE? 629 00:53:15,160 --> 00:53:18,280 >> No, unfortunately that's the world we live in. 630 00:53:18,280 --> 00:53:22,680 I mean, it's all about viral moments and trending and getting as many clicks. 631 00:53:22,680 --> 00:53:28,000 I mean, hell, that's what made Logan Paul or Logan Paul a mega star was his viral stuff. 632 00:53:28,000 --> 00:53:34,120 And I think WWE is leaning into it because they're still trying to capture a more youthful 633 00:53:34,120 --> 00:53:35,360 audience as well. 634 00:53:35,360 --> 00:53:41,160 And so, hey, can a 14 year old kid sit through a two hour, two and a half hour raw or two 635 00:53:41,160 --> 00:53:44,720 hours smack down or two nights of pro wrestling? 636 00:53:44,720 --> 00:53:50,560 No, but he can ingest it in viral moments and that's them just trying to play to a younger 637 00:53:50,560 --> 00:53:56,840 demographic, but it sucks because it does sacrifice the quality and good television writing. 638 00:53:56,840 --> 00:54:02,000 And I think that is kind of like the crux of where we're at as a society in a lot of ways 639 00:54:02,000 --> 00:54:05,320 is guys like you and me will watch a show for five, six, seven, eight, and a half. 640 00:54:05,320 --> 00:54:07,960 Seven years to get a great payoff. 641 00:54:07,960 --> 00:54:12,000 And younger viewers are like, no, I'm not going to watch all that, just tell me what happened 642 00:54:12,000 --> 00:54:13,840 and what's the cool stuff. 643 00:54:13,840 --> 00:54:17,760 And then they lose the quality in that programming. 644 00:54:17,760 --> 00:54:26,080 And it's a little bit of, you take the old crash TV from the 90s and put it in the clips and 645 00:54:26,080 --> 00:54:32,160 that's kind of where we're at right now where you're sacrificing quality just for content instead. 646 00:54:32,160 --> 00:54:37,160 Yeah, you're sacrificing quality just for quantity of views because I think they would get larger 647 00:54:37,160 --> 00:54:38,160 views. 648 00:54:38,160 --> 00:54:42,920 Like I can understand the Lesnar return and the Seth wrongs cash when it comes to these views 649 00:54:42,920 --> 00:54:43,920 thing. 650 00:54:43,920 --> 00:54:49,360 But I think you would get more views if it built up to John Cena's like as enough is enough. 651 00:54:49,360 --> 00:54:51,480 He's coming out to address the WWE universe. 652 00:54:51,480 --> 00:54:54,080 I am sorry for everything that I did. 653 00:54:54,080 --> 00:54:58,480 This is post summer same everything that we saw happen like the leap Friday smack down 654 00:54:58,480 --> 00:55:01,520 and just play out that everything else took place. 655 00:55:01,520 --> 00:55:04,520 The match with Cody, you want the real Cena? 656 00:55:04,520 --> 00:55:06,400 You're going to get him on Sunday. 657 00:55:06,400 --> 00:55:11,760 Does the whole shebang of old school Cena people are going nuts and as the match goes on, he's 658 00:55:11,760 --> 00:55:15,600 realizing he needs to turn back here shakes Cody sand doesn't want to leave wrestling blah, 659 00:55:15,600 --> 00:55:16,840 blah, blah, blah. 660 00:55:16,840 --> 00:55:22,640 And then Brock takes him out like that would have played out better with a full fledge 100% 661 00:55:22,640 --> 00:55:23,640 baby face turn. 662 00:55:23,640 --> 00:55:27,760 I would be preferring today that Dr. Trey and I are sitting here talking about, do we 663 00:55:27,760 --> 00:55:31,600 think Cena's turning baby face? 664 00:55:31,600 --> 00:55:37,480 Rather than Friday smack down happens, there is no build up to John Cena potentially turning 665 00:55:37,480 --> 00:55:38,800 his baby face. 666 00:55:38,800 --> 00:55:43,280 And if you missed the show or watched it on DVR, you're like scrolling through X and like, 667 00:55:43,280 --> 00:55:44,800 I'll watch Smackdown later on. 668 00:55:44,800 --> 00:55:47,400 Maybe I'll watch it Saturday morning and you're like, wait a minute, what? 669 00:55:47,400 --> 00:55:48,800 Cena says he's back. 670 00:55:48,800 --> 00:55:52,440 Champions here, he's shaking hands, kissing babies. 671 00:55:52,440 --> 00:55:53,440 Like what? 672 00:55:53,440 --> 00:55:55,440 So I don't know. 673 00:55:55,440 --> 00:55:59,280 He was just very, very frustrated and see it play out that way after a really cool and 674 00:55:59,280 --> 00:56:04,120 fun execution that came out of nowhere back in late February early March when the elimination 675 00:56:04,120 --> 00:56:05,120 chamber took place. 676 00:56:05,120 --> 00:56:10,720 So John Cena is back as a baby face folks and we've got four months left of John Cena. 677 00:56:10,720 --> 00:56:14,320 I think the moral of it all though is Dr. Trey point out when we were talking about the 678 00:56:14,320 --> 00:56:18,360 match recap of Cena versus Rhodes, there has not been a bad John Cena match. 679 00:56:18,360 --> 00:56:19,360 It's his return. 680 00:56:19,360 --> 00:56:21,600 His character overall has been very good. 681 00:56:21,600 --> 00:56:26,320 But there's these men in black moments as I always say Dr. Trey, we're gonna want to forget 682 00:56:26,320 --> 00:56:27,320 it. 683 00:56:27,320 --> 00:56:29,960 How this played out, but I think this is going to be a hard one to forget because it played 684 00:56:29,960 --> 00:56:33,480 a major role in a farewell tour of John Cena. 685 00:56:33,480 --> 00:56:35,240 So there you have it. 686 00:56:35,240 --> 00:56:36,800 There is our summer slap. 687 00:56:36,800 --> 00:56:43,440 Summer slam, not summer slap, but that's something that I think Dana White slap competition 688 00:56:43,440 --> 00:56:45,160
