- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the w R Life back studios. They'll mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: some own show.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hey, it's another beautiful day to day. We got a
- 0:12Speaker 2: lot to get to. We'll get to the Knicks last night.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We'll get to California. We'll get to that Scott Pelley,
- 0:18Speaker 2: the most pompous man ever in a world. We'll get
- 0:22Speaker 2: to we'll get the crazy mom Johnny, and we'll get
- 0:26Speaker 2: to President Trump and Iran and a whole lot more
- 0:30Speaker 2: the President at the next game last night. Now, of
- 0:33Speaker 2: course the Knicks lost, So of course everybody who's a
- 0:37Speaker 2: Trump hater, every Trump arrangement syndrome, person blaming Trump, he
- 0:41Speaker 2: jinxed it.
- 0:42Speaker 3: He ll.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Listen, they were bound to lose a game somewhere. I mean,
- 0:47Speaker 2: you're getting pretty cocky if you think they have to
- 0:50Speaker 2: sweep and we just win the championship. That's all you
- 0:52Speaker 2: gotta do. Also, it's good for New York if they
- 0:58Speaker 2: if they stretch us out one more game, because we
- 1:02Speaker 2: make ninety two million dollars in revenue every time there's
- 1:06Speaker 2: another game. That's how many people come in spend money, hotels, restaurants,
- 1:11Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff. So it's an extra ninety two
- 1:13Speaker 2: million for the city. Now, these crazy Trump haters, and
- 1:17Speaker 2: I love always listening to the really dumb ones, you know,
- 1:20Speaker 2: the Hakeem Jeffries IQ eighty five ninety maybe eighty five
- 1:26Speaker 2: from eighty eighty five, maybe Hakeem Jefferies. Who is this
- 1:32Speaker 2: guy who talks like a robot, A big Trump paters,
- 1:36Speaker 2: just filled with Trump hatred, so upset that Trump came
- 1:39Speaker 2: in to see the game.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Does this guy even know the difference between Carl Rove
- 1:45Speaker 4: and Karl Anthony Towns.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 1:50Speaker 5: He's just injecting himself.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Into the NBA finals because he always has to bring
- 2:00Speaker 4: the MAGA circus in to town.
- 2:06Speaker 2: He's not a bright guy. He's kind of stupid, and
- 2:08Speaker 2: he just repeats and he you know, they come up
- 2:11Speaker 2: with these dumb talking points and they throw them out
- 2:14Speaker 2: there and some don't work and backfire and some work,
- 2:17Speaker 2: and but this moron keeps repeating them all he doesn't
- 2:20Speaker 2: realize some of them didn't work. Kathy Hockel tried that day.
- 2:23Speaker 2: He's not a Knicks fan. I'll bet he can't name
- 2:25Speaker 2: one player. Hokeel tried that and then immediately all over
- 2:30Speaker 2: the internet people put up thousands of pictures of Trump
- 2:32Speaker 2: at every every two seconds at a Nick game through
- 2:36Speaker 2: the years. Here's a picture of always sitting in the
- 2:38Speaker 2: front row. He said a million Nick games, big Knicks fan,
- 2:42Speaker 2: put the Knicks on the apprentice, huge Knicks fan, always
- 2:46Speaker 2: has been. But again, Hakeem Jeffery's very slow. He doesn't
- 2:52Speaker 2: know that that talking point bombed and backfired, so he's
- 2:55Speaker 2: going to repeat it and then he puts it in
- 2:58Speaker 2: these dumb questions.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Does this guy even know the difference between Karl Rove
- 3:05Speaker 4: and Karl Anthony Towns.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Karl Anthony Towns is a winner. Is a big difference,
- 3:11Speaker 2: big difference there. Unlike Rove who want to race in
- 3:15Speaker 2: Texas about thirty forty years ago or something. So it's driving.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was worth him coming in just to upset these democrats.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Listen to the now. This guy's not dumb, but he's
- 3:27Speaker 2: so dirty and sleazy, Chuck Schumer.
- 3:30Speaker 6: Midtown has to shut down. Bars near the garden are
- 3:32Speaker 6: about to take a huge night on what should be there.
- 3:36Speaker 2: You're trying to convince you that Trump coming in is harmful.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It's a disaster. It's costing everybody business and money.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Midtown has to shut down. Bars near the Garden are
- 3:46Speaker 6: about to take a huge night on what should be
- 3:50Speaker 6: their biggest a huge hit on what should be their
- 3:52Speaker 6: biggest night of the year, and free watch parties near
- 3:55Speaker 6: the arena have been canceled because Trump can't bear letting
- 3:59Speaker 6: anyone else be the center of attention for one night.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. He went up in the owner's
- 4:04Speaker 2: suite and he certainly didn't try to get any attention.
- 4:07Speaker 2: He was quiet all night. He did at halftime come
- 4:10Speaker 2: down to the court and walk around the court in
- 4:13Speaker 2: a fenced off area. But Schumer, you know, it's okay.
- 4:18Speaker 2: You got to excuse Jeffries. He's a moron, He's an imbecile.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But Schumer has half a brain. You think he could
- 4:24Speaker 2: come up with better stuff. So they did move the
- 4:28Speaker 2: watch party, the one usually outside the garden. They moved
- 4:31Speaker 2: it to Bryant Park, which is not a bad thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It's much more beautiful at Bryant Park, although the garden
- 4:37Speaker 2: looks pretty good lit up an orange and blue. But
- 4:40Speaker 2: the watch party at Bryant Park turned into a nightmare
- 4:47Speaker 2: at the end, with violence and rioting. And I don't
- 4:50Speaker 2: know if you call it riot, well you can call
- 4:52Speaker 2: it rioting. They called out the riot squad at the end,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but fans beating up anybody had a spurs, hat or
- 4:58Speaker 2: jersey on. It was absolutely out of control, lots of arrests.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You may have seen the video that woman jumps on
- 5:04Speaker 2: top of a police car, putting dents all over it.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So a lot of people think, Mom, Donnie, well, we
- 5:11Speaker 2: know he's crazy, but some people think he's even more
- 5:13Speaker 2: crazy because he wants to do for the World Cup
- 5:19Speaker 2: a watch party at the Woman Rink with fifty thousand people.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Fifty thousand people, this is a recipe for total disaster.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I guess the police commissioner
- 5:35Speaker 2: can't can't change his mind, but this is going to
- 5:38Speaker 2: be a logistical nightmare. It's going to be a total disaster.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You remember the Diana Ross concert at the Great Lawn,
- 5:47Speaker 2: same thing. Hey, actually I made a little mistake there.
- 5:50Speaker 2: The watch party last night was Wolman Rink. You can't
- 5:54Speaker 2: put fifty thousand people there. This fifty thousand person watch
- 5:58Speaker 2: party four the World Cup would be on the Great Lawn.
- 6:02Speaker 2: That's where the Diana Ross concert. Remember that ended up
- 6:05Speaker 2: with gangs beating up everybody. It was just terrible violence.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Then they spread out into the Upper West Side and
- 6:10Speaker 2: the East Side, wreaking havoc at violence everywhere. So this
- 6:15Speaker 2: is a horrible idea. You're gonna have to get tickets
- 6:17Speaker 2: with a lottery.
- 6:18Speaker 6: That's something I purchased directly, right, I.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Know that's another cut, but it's a recipe for disaster.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Hopefully somebody can stop them. This World Cup, it's going
- 6:28Speaker 2: to be a nightmare for New York. It's gonna be
- 6:30Speaker 2: They say it's going to be like having a Super
- 6:33Speaker 2: Bowl every night in New York for like twenty nights
- 6:35Speaker 2: in a row. But one thing about soccer, the fans
- 6:40Speaker 2: go crazy. The soccer fans are more violent. You always
- 6:43Speaker 2: have hooligans in Scotland. You got riots here. So this
- 6:47Speaker 2: is going to be a dangerous time in New York,
- 6:50Speaker 2: this World Cup. Hopefully there's enough security. Yeah, Mom, Donnie
- 6:54Speaker 2: was at the game last night. He claims he bought
- 6:56Speaker 2: a ticket.
- 6:57Speaker 7: That's something I purchased directly from the Mansion Square garden.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Close to one thousand dollars was the price of it.
- 7:04Speaker 3: And standing remote is just a section that I'll be
- 7:06Speaker 3: standing in.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's actually quite a feat. Actually the first time
- 7:11Speaker 2: a politician actually paid for anything. But he claims he
- 7:14Speaker 2: paid for the ticket. So President Trump was there when
- 7:19Speaker 2: the camera came on him and you could see it
- 7:20Speaker 2: on the big screen. Half the audience cheered, half the
- 7:23Speaker 2: audience booed. Now and as Trump said, well, it's a
- 7:27Speaker 2: lot of left wing you know, people at the at
- 7:30Speaker 2: the NBA. But got to remember some people might have
- 7:33Speaker 2: bued because they couldn't get into the game. It took
- 7:37Speaker 2: hours of waiting in line. It was very difficult to
- 7:39Speaker 2: get into the game. People told me they were just
- 7:41Speaker 2: stuck in line for hours. It was like the worst
- 7:44Speaker 2: TSA line you can imagine. So that might have been
- 7:48Speaker 2: some of the booming there. We'll get to we'll get
- 7:53Speaker 2: to Tom Holman and Ice. This is going to be
- 7:55Speaker 2: quite a fight California. Looks like the two wacko left
- 8:00Speaker 2: wing kooks will be the runoff and we'll run against
- 8:04Speaker 2: each other. Nobody, nobody in the right mind, thinks this
- 8:09Speaker 2: voting was legitimate. Because there's a woman, whatever her name is,
- 8:13Speaker 2: the left wing nutjob, kook socialist, who was so far behind,
- 8:18Speaker 2: she got so few votes in the election when everybody
- 8:20Speaker 2: came to vote. Now they go to these mail in
- 8:23Speaker 2: votes and suddenly she's surging she's getting all the votes.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's statistically impossible. It makes absolutely no sense. California, it
- 8:34Speaker 2: looks like total fraud because they can't count the votes.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's how many days later they keep claiming it'll take
- 8:41Speaker 2: thirty five days to count all the votes. That makes
- 8:45Speaker 2: absolutely no sense. India has six hundred thousand people, six
- 8:50Speaker 2: hundred million people. They count the votes overnight. It looks
- 8:54Speaker 2: like total fraud.
- 8:56Speaker 3: President Trump, they voted five days ago, and nobody has
- 9:01Speaker 3: any idea where the votes are. What's gonna happen, and
- 9:04Speaker 3: we don't want that. We're not gonna allow that to
- 9:06Speaker 3: happen to a nation.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I don't know what he can do, but he's got
- 9:09Speaker 2: the DOJ. Lawyer's there on the ground. But everybody thinks.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Everybody in their right mind thinks it's just a totally
- 9:16Speaker 2: rigged election.
- 9:16Speaker 8: They are counting votes weeks after the election. We have
- 9:19Speaker 8: entire nations with huge populations like India that can count
- 9:23Speaker 8: their votes in twenty four to four, Like the President,
- 9:26Speaker 8: I'm not saying it's rigged. I'm saying it stinks to
- 9:28Speaker 8: high heaven and everybody knows that.
- 9:30Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Well, now let's turn to the genius, the most brilliant
- 9:33Speaker 2: man on Earth, Hakeem Jefferies.
- 9:35Speaker 5: There is no election fraud in California. Donald Trump is
- 9:38Speaker 5: making it up. He can't point to a shred of
- 9:41Speaker 5: evidence to prove his point. This is all a conspiracy
- 9:45Speaker 5: theory because Donald Trump knows in November he's going down
- 9:49Speaker 5: in flames electorally and Republicans are about to lose the House.
- 9:54Speaker 2: That's good, that's good to hear. Because this guy, this
- 9:56Speaker 2: Hakim Jefferies, is so dumb. He's like a reverse barometer.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Anything he says the opposite happens. So whatever he predicts,
- 10:03Speaker 2: you always get the opposite. Now. I love how they
- 10:05Speaker 2: say there's no evidence Donald Trump has no evidence that
- 10:10Speaker 2: there's any for well, Hakeem Jefferies has absolutely no evidence
- 10:13Speaker 2: that there isn't whatsoever. He can't produce a shred of
- 10:17Speaker 2: evidence to defend these crazy, ridiculous results that are coming out. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 2: so Kathy Hochel, you know, announces this is going to
- 10:26Speaker 2: be a total sanctuary state. She orders absolutely no cooperation
- 10:32Speaker 2: with Ice iceer law enforcement officials when they come into
- 10:36Speaker 2: New York. Our law enforcement is supposed to turn their
- 10:39Speaker 2: back and not cooperate at all. Absolutely ridiculous you know,
- 10:44Speaker 2: if you arrest an the illegal an illegal immigrant who's
- 10:47Speaker 2: got a committed a bunch of crimes, you put him
- 10:51Speaker 2: in jail, You cooperate with ICE. In jail, you turn
- 10:55Speaker 2: the guy over, They come to the prison pick him up.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's orderly. Now if they got to pick him up
- 11:00Speaker 2: out in the street, instead of a couple of guys
- 11:02Speaker 2: to go get him, they got to send twenty guys
- 11:04Speaker 2: to go get him. So they're going to need a
- 11:07Speaker 2: lot more officers. In Homans announced he will send the
- 11:11Speaker 2: biggest amount of ICE agents ever to New York.
- 11:15Speaker 10: I told her it is safer for the community, is
- 11:17Speaker 10: safer for the officers, is safer for the anilaens to
- 11:20Speaker 10: have these cooperations with the jails. She signed the legislation anyways,
- 11:24Speaker 10: So I made her a promise. You're going to see
- 11:25Speaker 10: more ICE agents you ever seen in New York City.
- 11:28Speaker 10: And it's coming. I just reviewed an operational plan. I'm
- 11:31Speaker 10: not going to tell you exactly when is going to happen,
- 11:33Speaker 10: but is coming.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So you're going to see the biggest surge of
- 11:38Speaker 2: ICE ever in the history of the world right here
- 11:41Speaker 2: in New York. He's going to send so many agents
- 11:44Speaker 2: Hockel blasted the move, saying it's disgusting, it's terrible, it's awful.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He in factually claims that Hochel claims that Trump explicitly
- 11:55Speaker 2: told her in a face to face meeting he would
- 11:58Speaker 2: not deploy federal agents to the Big Apple unless she asked.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I don't think he said that at all. I think
- 12:03Speaker 2: she's lying. He may have said that about National Guard
- 12:06Speaker 2: or something like that, but obviously he wouldn't say that
- 12:08Speaker 2: about Ice. Ever. Hey, in Iran, a helicopter crashed overnight.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Both pilots rescued. They haven't actually said whether. I don't think.
- 12:20Speaker 2: We don't know that it was shot down. It just
- 12:22Speaker 2: crashed for whatever reason. But they've recovered the pilots, so
- 12:26Speaker 2: everything is good. President Trump says we're close, close through
- 12:31Speaker 2: a deal. Democrats of course, screaming. He've been saying that
- 12:34Speaker 2: for four weeks. Yeah, well, that's not a lot of time.
- 12:37Speaker 2: If this were Obama or Biden, they would have given
- 12:39Speaker 2: him a year before they even said a word. It's
- 12:41Speaker 2: just a few weeks. Oil is down, dropping down eighty
- 12:46Speaker 2: seven dollars a barrel. That's not bad. That's way below
- 12:49Speaker 2: Biden prices. One thing keeping oil from going down even
- 12:53Speaker 2: more is apparently a lot of nations have decided they
- 12:56Speaker 2: should stockpile massive reserves of oil. You know, we have
- 13:01Speaker 2: our emergency supply and every other nation does. But apparently
- 13:04Speaker 2: the every other nation, especially Europe where they were depending
- 13:07Speaker 2: on the Straits or hor Moose, they want to make
- 13:10Speaker 2: sure they have a huge, huge, huge stockpile. Look at
- 13:16Speaker 2: this Schumer's on TV and he looks so ridiculous with
- 13:19Speaker 2: the big mister magoo glasses. And now he's wearing a
- 13:21Speaker 2: Knicks hat. He's wearing a Knicks hat. Now again, you
- 13:27Speaker 2: could see thousands of pictures of Trump at Knicks games
- 13:30Speaker 2: every year forever, sitting at the court side of the
- 13:33Speaker 2: Knicks games. Chuck Schumer has never been to a Knicks game.
- 13:37Speaker 2: He doesn't even know what sport it is. He has
- 13:39Speaker 2: no idea any of the Knicks. And look at the
- 13:41Speaker 2: hat he's got, like one of those really cheap, crummy,
- 13:44Speaker 2: stupid two dollars hats instead of a real He couldn't
- 13:47Speaker 2: even get himself a real Knicks hat. You can go
- 13:49Speaker 2: buy them all over New York right now. Hey, Billy Joel,
- 13:53Speaker 2: you know the King of Madison Square Garden, he had
- 13:55Speaker 2: a message for the Knicks last night.
- 13:58Speaker 11: Knicks, a lot of magic happened in this building for
- 14:02Speaker 11: many years, but now it's your turn. Bring the championship
- 14:05Speaker 11: back with the greatest city in the world, New York.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Go for it, all right, not the greatest production, but
- 14:16Speaker 2: it's very good. So yeah, the Knicks will be playing
- 14:19Speaker 2: tomorrow night at the Garden, and if they win it's
- 14:25Speaker 2: three to one. The series returns to San Antonio. So
- 14:29Speaker 2: if they win the fourth game and the championship, it'll
- 14:33Speaker 2: take place in San Antonio, which might be better riot wise.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Who knows what's going to happen here in New York
- 14:40Speaker 2: when they win. But the next game will be Wednesday.
- 14:43Speaker 2: The President will not be there, so it'll be a
- 14:46Speaker 2: lot easier getting around. You won't have the traffic nightmare
- 14:49Speaker 2: that we had last night. Hey, you know Friday, SpaceX
- 14:53Speaker 2: the IPO debuts. They've set the price at one hundred
- 14:57Speaker 2: and thirty five dollars, which is very high, but you
- 15:01Speaker 2: won't be able to get it for one hundred and
- 15:02Speaker 2: thirty five. That's going to be pre market. Only insiders
- 15:05Speaker 2: will get that price. Institutions that are going to You've
- 15:09Speaker 2: got to arrange with somebody to get you the ipo.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Get you in there before the bell, and they'll get
- 15:15Speaker 2: one hundred and thirty five. As soon as it opens,
- 15:17Speaker 2: the price will go nuts. You make if you try
- 15:19Speaker 2: to buy it on the market after the bell opens,
- 15:22Speaker 2: you're going to be paying what it could be two hundred,
- 15:24Speaker 2: it could be five hundred, it could be twelve hundred.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Who knows, it's going to go absolutely crazy. That was
- 15:29Speaker 2: one reason for the sell off on Friday in the
- 15:31Speaker 2: chip sector. A lot of people freeing up money for
- 15:35Speaker 2: this IPO, taking the profits on the well many of
- 15:38Speaker 2: those chip companies. We're up four thousand percent. Good time
- 15:41Speaker 2: to cash out, get your money freed up to go
- 15:44Speaker 2: into this IPO on Friday. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:51Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Ten, give worbre said on the iHeartRadio up to hear
- 16:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone and all the WOOR hosts in an instant.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simo show on Woory.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Let's take some college. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:14Speaker 2: seven ten is number. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 16:17Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark I'm doing very well. Thank you, Mark.
- 16:22Speaker 3: After the next game.
- 16:23Speaker 12: Last night on ABC seven, I was watching the news
- 16:26Speaker 12: and they had a report that said former Chicago Mayor
- 16:29Speaker 12: Ron Emmanuel is thinking of running for president and he's
- 16:33Speaker 12: on a bicycle tour.
- 16:36Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I can swear I saw him sitting there at courtside.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's a guy that looked like him. I don't know
- 16:41Speaker 2: if it was him, but yeah, a bicycle tour is
- 16:44Speaker 2: perfect for him. Well, yeah, listen, we love Chicago, but
- 16:48Speaker 2: you guys send us the worst politicians. You come up
- 16:51Speaker 2: with the worst mayors and the worst governors. But thanks
- 16:54Speaker 2: for calling. H You know, there were a lot of
- 16:56Speaker 2: celebrities courtside. You know this. ABC was careful not to
- 17:00Speaker 2: show Donald Trump one. You know, he's the President United States.
- 17:03Speaker 2: He's there. You gotta cut to him once in a
- 17:05Speaker 2: while during the national anthem, maybe once or twice. They quickly,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you know, put a shot at him. But Ben Stiller,
- 17:12Speaker 2: Larry David, Spike Lee, every two seconds they were showing them.
- 17:16Speaker 2: They just kept showing Larry David, They just kept showing
- 17:18Speaker 2: Spike Lee. They just got who else. I was watching
- 17:21Speaker 2: the front row there look like Tina Fay, Tracy Morgan.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Who else did I see If Bob Kraft was sitting
- 17:28Speaker 2: there was either Howard Lutnik or a guy that looks
- 17:32Speaker 2: just like him, and he was wearing a suit and tie,
- 17:36Speaker 2: so it's probably was probably Howard Lutnick. Who else did
- 17:38Speaker 2: I see there?
- 17:40Speaker 9: Oh?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Of course Timothy Shalomey was there. They kept showing them.
- 17:43Speaker 2: They were careful not to show too much Trump. Let's
- 17:46Speaker 2: go to Rob in Long Island. Rob, how you doing?
- 17:49Speaker 9: Mark?
- 17:49Speaker 13: Good morning.
- 17:50Speaker 7: It came to my attention this fellow Platners receiving forty
- 17:53Speaker 7: eight dollars a month of disability for Hernie at a
- 17:56Speaker 7: disk shoulder problems BTSD. Yeah, he's claiming he's annoise farmer.
- 18:00Speaker 7: I'm out Long Island. I have I had a client
- 18:02Speaker 7: that's an oyster farm out here. It's very hard work.
- 18:05Speaker 7: And if you went to court trying to sue in
- 18:08Speaker 7: a car action for those kind of injuries and being
- 18:10Speaker 7: able to say that you're working at an oyster farmer,
- 18:13Speaker 7: it's very insulting from you.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well he's actually he's actually not an oyster farmer.
- 18:17Speaker 2: He had one time, for like two days did some
- 18:19Speaker 2: oysters running around a.
- 18:20Speaker 7: Bar with his shirt off and he's sending selfies in towels,
- 18:24Speaker 7: and it's to seem like he's got PTSD or needs
- 18:27Speaker 7: forty dollars a month on taxpayers.
- 18:29Speaker 2: No, you're absolutely right now. But he made up this
- 18:32Speaker 2: whole oyster farmer's story. His mother has a seafood restaurant,
- 18:36Speaker 2: so for like two days he went and dug up
- 18:39Speaker 2: some oysters for her restaurant. That was the extent of
- 18:41Speaker 2: his business. Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach Rich,
- 18:46Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Hey, thanks book. Yeah, it looked like Bloomberg almost got
- 18:50Speaker 9: run over last night. Yeah, Bloomberg there almost broke a hip.
- 18:53Speaker 9: You know. But you know, if you look at the
- 18:55Speaker 9: the cheating going on in California when Harris went attorney general,
- 19:01Speaker 9: the same thing happened. If you have these two grafts
- 19:03Speaker 9: going up, there was almost a ninety degree turn that
- 19:06Speaker 9: went straight up to get house selected. But it's like
- 19:09Speaker 9: three times that for this mayor race out there.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's statistically impossible. So whoever's way ahead in
- 19:16Speaker 2: the voting, then they go to the mail ends that
- 19:19Speaker 2: person gets no votes in the loser. All of a sudden,
- 19:21Speaker 2: there's surging at ninety percents. It's statistically impossible. It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Ye I forgot Bloomberg was in the front row and
- 19:28Speaker 2: a one time, at one moment, a player crashed into
- 19:30Speaker 2: and almost knocked him down, and I noticed a lot
- 19:33Speaker 2: of garden officials ran over to make sure he was okay.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He was fine, he wasn't hurt. You gotta be nuts
- 19:39Speaker 2: to want to sit in the front row. You know,
- 19:42Speaker 2: I'm looking where Trump's sitting, big leather chair. It seems
- 19:46Speaker 2: so comfortable where he was sitting. You look up in
- 19:48Speaker 2: the stands. They got these really nice seats in the
- 19:51Speaker 2: in the garden. Look at the front road. They're on
- 19:53Speaker 2: folding chairs. You're just sitting on a like those cheap
- 19:57Speaker 2: folding chairs you'd put at a bridge table, you know,
- 19:59Speaker 2: like a card. It's terrible looking. You're sitting an inch
- 20:03Speaker 2: from the game. This sweat is hitting me in the face.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It's really not a good idea. It's like people that
- 20:08Speaker 2: are go to a Broadway show and sit in the
- 20:10Speaker 2: front row. You don't realize what it's like in the
- 20:12Speaker 2: front row. You're gonna get spit on all night. You know,
- 20:15Speaker 2: if it's a musical. When they sing a lot of
- 20:18Speaker 2: spit comes flying out of them, especially on big notes.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm not kidna ask anybody ever sat in the front row.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You're gonna get spit on, You're gonna get the dust
- 20:26Speaker 2: all over you because the stages are filthy. You can
- 20:28Speaker 2: see when you're up close, when their foot hits the
- 20:30Speaker 2: stage like dust flies up. Never sit in the front row.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:37Speaker 13: Good morning, mak, Good morning maw. It's the same thing
- 20:39Speaker 13: at the Metropolitan Opera or in New York State Opera.
- 20:43Speaker 13: When I would sit in the front row, especially when
- 20:46Speaker 13: Pavarotti was on the bill, a lot of stuff would
- 20:51Speaker 13: fly over that.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think they hit those notes. Everything comes
- 20:55Speaker 2: flying out of their mouth. And with that Pavaratti half
- 20:57Speaker 2: his lunch had come.
- 20:58Speaker 13: Please, I didn't have my prekface yet. Mark John Bolton
- 21:02Speaker 13: was a bad dude, and now he's getting his justified desserts.
- 21:06Speaker 13: He copped out. He's gonna pay a two and a
- 21:09Speaker 13: half million dollar fine for not clearing that book with
- 21:14Speaker 13: the Trump White House before he published it and trying
- 21:18Speaker 13: publiship before the election day. But John Bolton was right
- 21:21Speaker 13: about one thing. Had Donald Trump put a missile right
- 21:27Speaker 13: into the control tower a minute after they shot down
- 21:32Speaker 13: unmanned drone over the Persian Gulf, which was over international waters.
- 21:40Speaker 13: We weren't being this quagmire that we are. And now
- 21:43Speaker 13: before question, Donald Trump comes out to.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That day, it's not Vietnam eighteen years since this.
- 21:51Speaker 13: Well, here in lies the difference. Here in lies the difference.
- 21:56Speaker 13: We didn't start Vietnam. We didn't start the wars. We
- 22:01Speaker 13: did start. We won the wars. We didn't start. We
- 22:06Speaker 13: came to this.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but you gotta remember we're in the middle of
- 22:09Speaker 2: a ceasefire. Nothing is happening.
- 22:11Speaker 13: Yeah, a new word that Donald Trump made up. Yes,
- 22:14Speaker 13: And I told somebody Donald Trump is working as an
- 22:18Speaker 13: editor for Miriam Webster. A moderate chease fire.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Why, moron, you gotta calm down.
- 22:28Speaker 13: No, I don't have to come down adventually.
- 22:30Speaker 2: We gotta we gotta go. Thanks for calling. No, you can't.
- 22:33Speaker 2: You can't say quagmar in month three. You gotta wait
- 22:37Speaker 2: till like four years before you can use the word quagmar. Hey,
- 22:40Speaker 2: when we come back to the brilliant John Carney, what's
- 22:43Speaker 2: going on with the economy, oil stocks, iran all, we'll
- 22:46Speaker 2: get to all of that next on seven ten w
- 22:49Speaker 2: o R. He's always a headline. I had mark them
- 22:53Speaker 2: up seven ten w o R. Well, we bring you
- 22:57Speaker 2: this smartest people around now Johnny brilliant. He's the editor
- 23:02Speaker 2: of the Breitbart Business Digest, which you should read every day.
- 23:06Speaker 2: You know, the smartest guys, Larry Kudlow, Scott Besson. First
- 23:11Speaker 2: thing they check every day, bright Bart Business Digest. They
- 23:14Speaker 2: read it every morning. Now you can sign up for it.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Just go to Breitbart dot com and where it says newsletters,
- 23:21Speaker 2: just click on Breitbart Business Digest. Sign up. It's free.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It'll come write to your email every day. And here's
- 23:27Speaker 2: the editor of it, John Karney.
- 23:29Speaker 3: How you doing, very good, Good to talk to you.
- 23:33Speaker 9: Mark.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Hey all I hear about is AI is going to
- 23:35Speaker 2: wipe out everything and nobody will have a job. Everybody's
- 23:38Speaker 2: going to But meantime, the job numbers are going up.
- 23:41Speaker 2: What's the deal.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah, so the job numbers have been really good. Three
- 23:47Speaker 3: months in a row. We have consistently beaten expectations. The
- 23:52Speaker 3: average three month average right now is one hundred and
- 23:55Speaker 3: eighty eight thousand jobs. That's a lot in any that
- 24:01Speaker 3: in any kind of economy, that would be a really
- 24:03Speaker 3: good one. It's very good in ours when the unemployment
- 24:06Speaker 3: rate is already so low that we don't need to
- 24:10Speaker 3: create a lot of jobs. So the AI is not
- 24:14Speaker 3: destroying jobs across the economy. It may be weighing on
- 24:19Speaker 3: tech jobs not extremely high, but the tech layoff rate,
- 24:26Speaker 3: meaning the percent of tech jobs that get shut down
- 24:30Speaker 3: every month, is higher than it usually is. That's a
- 24:34Speaker 3: sector that actually doesn't see that many layoffs because it's
- 24:40Speaker 3: been growing, so it has seen some I think of
- 24:45Speaker 3: it almost like a Greek mythology, where like the you know,
- 24:49Speaker 3: the gods eat their their titan parents, that the AI
- 24:55Speaker 3: is eating its parents a little bit. But in general,
- 24:58Speaker 3: I actually think that AI is not going to be
- 25:01Speaker 3: destructive for jobs. It may change jobs, but if it
- 25:08Speaker 3: succeeds in making people more efficient at what they do,
- 25:11Speaker 3: that actually tends to expand employment because people because when
- 25:16Speaker 3: people are better at what they do, it actually makes
- 25:19Speaker 3: more sense to hire more of them because each person's
- 25:23Speaker 3: productivity rises. You know, we in the past and we've
- 25:27Speaker 3: seen big technological changes. My father said that people worried
- 25:32Speaker 3: when they introduced computers into the workplace that there would
- 25:38Speaker 3: be that there would be no work for the young
- 25:40Speaker 3: ladies who were typists in the office anymore to do. Well,
- 25:45Speaker 3: guess what, we don't have mass young lady unemployment. We
- 25:49Speaker 3: actually found more productive work for them to do, so
- 25:53Speaker 3: it doesn't actually cause massive unemployment like people are afraid.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and we went through all this the same exact
- 26:00Speaker 2: talk when the Internet came in twenty six years ago
- 26:03Speaker 2: or something, you know, twenty seven years ago, same exact fears.
- 26:07Speaker 9: That's right.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, there may be things we don't like about
- 26:10Speaker 3: the way it's going to go. I don't you know.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I think people got you know, people got so used
- 26:18Speaker 3: to being able to email people at any time of
- 26:21Speaker 3: the day I and expect responses back. But that was
- 26:24Speaker 3: actually a negative and now people push back against that.
- 26:29Speaker 3: But I, you know, so it doesn't mean everything about
- 26:31Speaker 3: AI is going to be terrific, But I don't think
- 26:34Speaker 3: it the result will be some sort of mass unemployment event.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Hey, John Carney. Every morning I wake up, I put
- 26:41Speaker 2: on a Morning Joe and MS now, and all I
- 26:44Speaker 2: hear is the economy is a disaster. Everybody is struggling, suffering.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Americans can't pay their bills. We've never had such a
- 26:50Speaker 2: bad economy is what is the real story?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's definitely not it. But you deserve a
- 26:58Speaker 3: medal for putting that on in the morning. I couldn't
- 27:03Speaker 3: do that, but I will say that they that what
- 27:08Speaker 3: they're wrong about is pretty obvious in the job's numbers.
- 27:14Speaker 3: We are seeing a big jump in employment in the US.
- 27:18Speaker 3: We've seen We've seen people mass jobs being added. We
- 27:24Speaker 3: saw them. For instance, the black unemployment rate fell a
- 27:27Speaker 3: lot last month, and people are doing very well. There's
- 27:33Speaker 3: pockets of difficulty, but I think one of the things
- 27:39Speaker 3: they want to do is make it sound like people
- 27:41Speaker 3: are really bad off, and then if you try to
- 27:43Speaker 3: say something good about the economy, they try to shame
- 27:45Speaker 3: you for it. Oh, how dare you say that while
- 27:48Speaker 3: people are suffering? But you know, first of all, there
- 27:52Speaker 3: are always people suffering in the world. But the the
- 27:56Speaker 3: economy is actually doing very well. We have high it's
- 28:01Speaker 3: actually doing better than I would have expected given the
- 28:04Speaker 3: price of gasoline. I thought that would actually weigh a
- 28:06Speaker 3: little more on our growth, because you know, obviously, when
- 28:11Speaker 3: you have to spend fifty percent more to fill up
- 28:15Speaker 3: your gas tank, that gives you less money to spend elsewhere.
- 28:18Speaker 3: But people are actually not reacting by pulling back on
- 28:21Speaker 3: other spending. We're seeing actually a lot of spending going on,
- 28:26Speaker 3: in part because everybody knows that this is a temporary situation.
- 28:33Speaker 3: It's not like the world ran out of oil so
- 28:36Speaker 3: the price of gasoline is going up. It's that there
- 28:38Speaker 3: is a you know, a war going on, and so
- 28:41Speaker 3: that makes people when people think about like can I
- 28:43Speaker 3: afford to spend this? Sometimes it helps them, sometimes it
- 28:47Speaker 3: hurts them. But they don't always think can I afford
- 28:49Speaker 3: to spend it right now? But can I afford to
- 28:51Speaker 3: spend it this year or over the next couple of years,
- 28:55Speaker 3: So they don't necessarily The economics called this a permanent ink,
- 29:00Speaker 3: a hypothesis. When you buy a house, for instance, you
- 29:04Speaker 3: know you can't pay it all off at once, but
- 29:06Speaker 3: you know you can over time, and that's how people
- 29:08Speaker 3: think about their household spending as well.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Friday, that's SpaceX ipo supposed to be one
- 29:16Speaker 2: hundred and thirty five dollars. You know it'll probably go
- 29:18Speaker 2: nuts once the market's open and go to five hundred.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Who knows what it will go to. What is that
- 29:23Speaker 2: going to do for the mood of the economy? And
- 29:26Speaker 2: the stock market.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah, well it'll certainly make a bunch
- 29:31Speaker 3: of people who went to work for SpaceX a few
- 29:34Speaker 3: years ago, you know, very very wealthy. But I think that, Look,
- 29:40Speaker 3: stock market's at record highs. It has done very well.
- 29:43Speaker 3: That's another indication that the doomers on the economy are wrong.
- 29:48Speaker 3: The stock market actually isn't appreciating because people are assigning
- 29:54Speaker 3: higher valuations, meaning like stocks aren't getting more expensive in
- 29:58Speaker 3: terms of earning, but actually gotten less expensive in terms
- 30:01Speaker 3: of earnings. What's happening is people think companies are going
- 30:05Speaker 3: to make a lot of money and SpaceX, look, the
- 30:08Speaker 3: valuation is, you know, pretty extreme. I always tell people
- 30:13Speaker 3: I don't buy I don't try to like get on
- 30:16Speaker 3: an IPO. The history of that isn't really great. Yes,
- 30:24Speaker 3: some do very well and people are very happy, but
- 30:26Speaker 3: you'll have other opportunities to buy stocks in the future.
- 30:29Speaker 3: You don't need to be you know, you're not actually
- 30:32Speaker 3: getting in on the ground floor when you buy an IPO.
- 30:34Speaker 3: The building's been built. You're actually just going and minting
- 30:38Speaker 3: the apartment from the guy who's owned it for ten years.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and it'll go way up and then it'll come
- 30:43Speaker 2: way down, and there'll be plenty of other times you
- 30:45Speaker 2: can get into SpaceX if you want to get into it.
- 30:47Speaker 3: That's right.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Hey, a new FED chairman every sing, well, they've got
- 30:52Speaker 2: a rate increase. We need a rate decrease, We need
- 30:53Speaker 2: a rate increase. Does the FED rate really matter that
- 30:56Speaker 2: much right now?
- 30:58Speaker 3: No, I look, I don't think that we need a
- 31:01Speaker 3: rate increase at all. The things that are driving up
- 31:05Speaker 3: prices in particular are not lightly forge. It's the oil
- 31:12Speaker 3: shortage caused through the Gulf of Hormones are not going
- 31:15Speaker 3: to be addressed by higher interest rates. We don't see
- 31:20Speaker 3: those sort of like classic overheating, where there's too many
- 31:23Speaker 3: dollars chasing too few goods in the economy. That doesn't
- 31:26Speaker 3: seem to be happening. So I don't think there's any
- 31:29Speaker 3: need to raise rates. However, the good news I was
- 31:32Speaker 3: just telling you about employment means there's probably not a
- 31:35Speaker 3: huge need to cut rates right now either. If you
- 31:41Speaker 3: cut interest rates now, it is possible that you would
- 31:46Speaker 3: reduce inflation. Probably the right thing to do, and this
- 31:49Speaker 3: is nice for Kevin Morrish, is that it'll give them
- 31:51Speaker 3: some time to grow into the job is to wait.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Let's see what happens over the next six months to
- 31:58Speaker 3: the economy and respond to that instead of you know,
- 32:02Speaker 3: coming in with like just a set view of what
- 32:03Speaker 3: should be done. I know the President wants lower interest rates,
- 32:07Speaker 3: and we may get them eventually, but you know what
- 32:10Speaker 3: I would like to say is, like, mister President, your economy,
- 32:15Speaker 3: in large part because of the tax cuts we put
- 32:18Speaker 3: in place last year, is doing very well. So and
- 32:23Speaker 3: the Fed isn't going to cut when inflation is high
- 32:27Speaker 3: and there's no employment problem. Those are the two things
- 32:30Speaker 3: that tries to handle employment and prices, and if the
- 32:34Speaker 3: prices are still high and employment is doing very well,
- 32:37Speaker 3: they're not going.
- 32:38Speaker 2: To cut well. John Connie brilliant as always. He runs
- 32:42Speaker 2: the edits the Breitbart Business Digest. You should read that
- 32:46Speaker 2: every day. As I say this, the first thing Scott
- 32:48Speaker 2: Beston reads in the morning. First thing Larry Cutlow reads
