Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: News breaks out in every show Mark simone on seven ten.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Wwar.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Well, welcome to the second Hour. In case you don't know,
- 0:16Speaker 3: we start at nine o'clock every day. It's nine to
- 0:19Speaker 3: noon every day, so if you just tune it in,
- 0:21Speaker 3: you miss the first hour nine to noon every day.
- 0:23Speaker 3: We've got a lot to get to. Let me just
- 0:25Speaker 3: clear up stuff. This is something we do on the show.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Here we clear up all the fake news you get
- 0:30Speaker 3: all day and night from all the networks, fake news
- 0:34Speaker 3: around the clock. Here's the fake news that you're gonna
- 0:38Speaker 3: hear all day to day. Everywhere you turn, you're gonna
- 0:40Speaker 3: hear the national debt has reached a shattering forty trillion dollars.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's reached forty trillion. You know that's up. Now,
- 0:50Speaker 3: what was it before it's reached forty trillion? You're gonna
- 0:54Speaker 3: hear this all day as if it's the most alarming
- 0:57Speaker 3: thing on the world, as if it just shows you
- 1:00Speaker 3: how evil awful Trump is. It't reached forty trillion. What
- 1:04Speaker 3: was it before? Thirty seven trillion? So it's up three trillion.
- 1:11Speaker 3: But if you check going back the last ten years,
- 1:14Speaker 3: it's up three trillion every year it went up a
- 1:18Speaker 3: little more. This year. Normally goes up about three trillion.
- 1:20Speaker 3: This year it went up about three point eight No, no,
- 1:23Speaker 3: three point four trillion. It's always up three trillion every year. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 3: why is that out of control? Insane government spending. But
- 1:33Speaker 3: if you're listening to the news, you're gonna hear this
- 1:35Speaker 3: all day. This is totally false. You're gonna hear. But
- 1:39Speaker 3: the debt reached forty trillion a large part due to
- 1:42Speaker 3: the war in Iran and due to the Trump tax cuts. Now,
- 1:48Speaker 3: this is complete fake news, total nonsense. Under the Trump
- 1:52Speaker 3: tax cuts, revenue has increased. You get more revenue with
- 1:57Speaker 3: those sort of tax cuts. Just simply follow the Laugher
- 2:00Speaker 3: curve and you get more revenue out of the revenue
- 2:03Speaker 3: increased under the Trump tax cuts. They had no effect
- 2:06Speaker 3: on the debt. And that argument that it's said, well,
- 2:09Speaker 3: due to the war in Iran, it hit forty trillion.
- 2:12Speaker 3: The war in Iran has cost about fifty billions so far,
- 2:15Speaker 3: fifty billion. That would be one point four percent of
- 2:20Speaker 3: the budget, one point four percent of the increase, actually
- 2:24Speaker 3: one point four percent of the three trillion that went up.
- 2:28Speaker 3: So it's just a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny fraction. The
- 2:32Speaker 3: reason you got this debt, and it happens under Republicans
- 2:35Speaker 3: and Democrats. It always goes up three trillion the debt
- 2:39Speaker 3: every year. It's because of out of controlled government spending.
- 2:43Speaker 3: You could cut the spending in half without changing anything.
- 2:47Speaker 3: If you just simply paid the legitimate price for everything,
- 2:50Speaker 3: you could cut it in half. Government overpays like crazy
- 2:53Speaker 3: for everything, overspends, overpays. Could cut it in half right there,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and then if you got of what you don't need,
- 3:01Speaker 3: started getting rid of the waste the excess. People Elon
- 3:06Speaker 3: Musk started to do it, and they couldn't run the
- 3:08Speaker 3: amount of Washington fast enough. They went crazy when he
- 3:11Speaker 3: tried to do it. They do not want this exposed.
- 3:14Speaker 3: One of the reasons government overpays for everything is it's
- 3:18Speaker 3: contracts that are handed out by politicians, senators, congressmen. Republicans
- 3:23Speaker 3: do it, Democrats do it. They hand out these contracts
- 3:27Speaker 3: whether they're building a road or building a bridge or
- 3:30Speaker 3: building a building, and it's a wink and a nod.
- 3:32Speaker 3: You can overcharge us by two thousand percent. Now in
- 3:36Speaker 3: exchange for that, you'll make massive donations to our campaigns,
- 3:40Speaker 3: to our political packs. We've got way too many government employees.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But the unions will make massive donations to the political
- 3:49Speaker 3: packs and the campaigns of all these politicians. So it's
- 3:52Speaker 3: a system that's been in place for a long time.
- 3:55Speaker 3: You could try to disrupt it. President Trump brought in
- 3:58Speaker 3: Elon Musk. Can you imagine you're going to bring in
- 3:59Speaker 3: a guy to look at this, and you're bring in
- 4:02Speaker 3: the most successful businessman on the face of the earth
- 4:06Speaker 3: and a genius, and you let him go into it,
- 4:08Speaker 3: and he's just tearing through it like crazy, And they
- 4:11Speaker 3: went insane in Washington. They had to run him out
- 4:13Speaker 3: of town as fast as they could. They weren't going
- 4:16Speaker 3: to stand for this for one second. Cleaning up the
- 4:19Speaker 3: waist and fraud. They will not hear of it. That's
- 4:24Speaker 3: an example of fake news. You're hearing it all day.
- 4:28Speaker 3: You're just getting total fake news from a lot of places.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That aircraft carrier story, it's another. Now I looked into this.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That aircraft carrier has been out there for two hundred
- 4:41Speaker 3: days and they haven't been able to pull into a
- 4:44Speaker 3: port to get fresh food. This is the story you're
- 4:47Speaker 3: gonna hear. Well, it turns out every aircraft carrier is
- 4:52Speaker 3: out there two hundred days perfectly normal. And you don't
- 4:55Speaker 3: pull into a port to get food. Navy applies to
- 5:00Speaker 3: the aircraft carrier. A supply ship pulls up to the
- 5:03Speaker 3: aircraft carrier every month and unloads all the food. You
- 5:06Speaker 3: can't pull into a port when you're traveling around the world.
- 5:10Speaker 3: What port? I mean, there are some, but only a
- 5:13Speaker 3: handful of ports can handle an aircraft carrier pulling in.
- 5:19Speaker 3: You can't pull an aircraft carrier into most ports. And
- 5:23Speaker 3: that's not where they get food from. And I mean
- 5:27Speaker 3: it's just total fake news. Now there's the Media Research
- 5:31Speaker 3: Counts of the MRC. They do these studies about fake
- 5:35Speaker 3: news and all this stuff. Just to warn you don't
- 5:39Speaker 3: ever use Apple News or Google News. If you have
- 5:44Speaker 3: a iPhone, maybe maybe you've got in the habit to
- 5:47Speaker 3: use an Apple News you got the app there, or
- 5:50Speaker 3: you love Google and you start using Google News. According
- 5:52Speaker 3: to the recent study, it is the most slanted distorted.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Apple News Google News do not use legitimate sources. They
- 6:00Speaker 3: rely heavily on the most left wing, slanted, biased stuff.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So you're not getting accurate news if you use those.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Stay away from Apple News and Google News. Hey that
- 6:12Speaker 3: asof that's that crazy senator from Georgia who's really been
- 6:16Speaker 3: going after Trump viciously, really vicious, And then he started
- 6:20Speaker 3: going after Natalie Harp. Trump has some chief aids that
- 6:25Speaker 3: have been around him for a few years. There's Natalie Harp,
- 6:27Speaker 3: There's Chamberlain, there's a whole bunch of there's Margo Martin.
- 6:34Speaker 3: But they're very hard working. They're all very good looking,
- 6:37Speaker 3: and they're very very hard working. Nobody works harder than
- 6:40Speaker 3: Natalie Harp round the clock. She just totally devoted to
- 6:43Speaker 3: him and he really trusts her. She handles his social media.
- 6:47Speaker 3: She's the one that scours social media printing out things
- 6:51Speaker 3: for him to see. So this Asoff went after her,
- 6:54Speaker 3: which was really ugly, and then implied that she's having
- 6:58Speaker 3: some sort of affair with him, which is not true.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It he's just crazy. So Asof got a lot of attention,
- 7:04Speaker 3: a lot of publicity, and then he started getting even worse,
- 7:08Speaker 3: calling trumpet draft dodger because he had four deferments. USAF
- 7:13Speaker 3: forgetting to mention that Biden had five deferments, but Trump
- 7:17Speaker 3: had a medical deferment for bone spurs. Us I forgot
- 7:22Speaker 3: to mention Biden had like six medical deferments. For things
- 7:25Speaker 3: nobody ever heard of. But he really has been going
- 7:28Speaker 3: after him with all the publicity, and it's caused some
- 7:31Speaker 3: people to talk about him for twenty twenty eight. He
- 7:34Speaker 3: might be the candidate, but he really got slapped down
- 7:37Speaker 3: this morning. David Axelrod, who's the smartest of all the
- 7:42Speaker 3: Democratic strategists, smartest of all the Democratic operatives, smartest of
- 7:47Speaker 3: all the Democratic insiders, and he's Obama's top guy. He's
- 7:53Speaker 3: the political guy for the Obama so when he speaks,
- 7:56Speaker 3: he's also representing the Obamas. But he really let osof
- 8:00Speaker 3: have it, and he said, you know, it's great to
- 8:02Speaker 3: have a voice exposing the things that are wrong with Trump,
- 8:07Speaker 3: but you went too far with the Natalie Harp stuff.
- 8:09Speaker 3: It was really ugly, it was awful. It distracts from
- 8:13Speaker 3: the message. He's basically telling Osoft to shut up. You
- 8:16Speaker 3: do not have the backing of the Obamas or any
- 8:19Speaker 3: of the party elders. So we'll see how asoff reacts
- 8:24Speaker 3: to that. We'll see what he does about it. Now.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The good news, Harry and Megan are leaving the country.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Thank god. Nobody wants them around anymore. The two most
- 8:33Speaker 3: useless idiots in the world they had a breakup with
- 8:40Speaker 3: King Charles. It's his son, you know, it's Prince Harry.
- 8:44Speaker 3: It's his son. But it's the Royal family. They can
- 8:46Speaker 3: be very cold blooded. They were completely cut off. One
- 8:50Speaker 3: reason that he married this idiot Megan. Family wanted nothing
- 8:53Speaker 3: to do with him. But the last time they were
- 8:55Speaker 3: over there, apparently they met with King Charles. There was
- 8:58Speaker 3: a little thaw in the relafeationship. They're not back in
- 9:01Speaker 3: the Royal family. They're not actually royals, they're non working royals.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Charles will not have them live anywhere in any royal property,
- 9:12Speaker 3: so they'll have to find their own place. Prince Harry
- 9:15Speaker 3: was stripped of his military titles and royal patronage appointments
- 9:19Speaker 3: in twenty twenty one. To make it look like it
- 9:24Speaker 3: was his idea, he announced he would step back from
- 9:26Speaker 3: official duties. This feud has been going on for years.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Harry wrote a tell all book called Spare. Royal Family
- 9:36Speaker 3: didn't like that. He did Oprah. Royal family doesn't like that.
- 9:40Speaker 3: He accused Buckingham Pallace of putting him in danger by
- 9:43Speaker 3: refusing to provide security for him. I mean, at first,
- 9:49Speaker 3: I don't know why he needs any security who the
- 9:50Speaker 3: hell's going to bother him. Second of all, get a job,
- 9:53Speaker 3: do something for a living. He's I need to realize
- 9:56Speaker 3: you're from the Royal family and that is the biggest
- 9:58Speaker 3: welfare family in the world. None of them have ever
- 10:01Speaker 3: actually held any sort of it is anybody in the
- 10:03Speaker 3: Royal family ever worked? Let me think No, I don't
- 10:07Speaker 3: think so.
- 10:09Speaker 4: No.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I can't take of anybody. You could say Sarah Ferguson
- 10:14Speaker 3: when she came here, Remember she was pretty hot for
- 10:16Speaker 3: a year or two and she did a lot of
- 10:18Speaker 3: commercials TV actually made some money, a lot of money there.
- 10:22Speaker 3: But I don't know if I'd considered that a career.
- 10:23Speaker 3: It was quick. It was a couple of years, and
- 10:25Speaker 3: then she was gone. Will they have any contact with
- 10:29Speaker 3: King Charles when they go back. Nobody knows. It's not
- 10:32Speaker 3: even clear where they'll live now. They're getting out of
- 10:36Speaker 3: here because everybody hates them here and there's no possibility
- 10:39Speaker 3: of doing anything here. They tried a podcast. That's with
- 10:43Speaker 3: every desperate loser when they got nothing left, they try
- 10:46Speaker 3: a podcast, and if you're an amateur, stop podcasting, all
- 10:50Speaker 3: you amateurs. Stop. It was a disaster. So there's nothing
- 10:54Speaker 3: for them here. They'll go back to England, figuring that
- 10:57Speaker 3: when they first get there they'll get a lot of
- 10:58Speaker 3: attention and maybe that would result in some kind of
- 11:01Speaker 3: job or something. But I doubt it. I think they'll
- 11:03Speaker 3: be back here pretty soon. Hey, you remember that that
- 11:08Speaker 3: ship that crashed into the statue or a Liberty charter boat?
- 11:12Speaker 3: You know, people remember the charter helicopter. This nice family
- 11:15Speaker 3: from out of town comes. They decided to charter a helicopter.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It'll take a tour around Manhattan. And the helicopter pilots
- 11:23Speaker 3: not qualified that and maintenance wasn't done. Everything was wrong.
- 11:25Speaker 3: A helicopter crash killed them. It was awful. So the thing,
- 11:29Speaker 3: something happens with this charter boat. They charged this other family.
- 11:33Speaker 3: They charter a boat that'll take them around, and turns
- 11:38Speaker 3: out the captain wasn't licensed, nobody was qualified. There was
- 11:41Speaker 3: all sorts of things wrong with the boat, crashed into
- 11:43Speaker 3: Liberty Island, killed their daughter, killed the mother. It was
- 11:47Speaker 3: just awful. Well, now it turns out this captain who
- 11:50Speaker 3: didn't have a license and everything also was an illegal
- 11:53Speaker 3: immigrant from Al Salvador, an actual criminal illegal alien. Homeland
- 11:59Speaker 3: Secure Mark Wayne Mullen putting out a statement. This criminal,
- 12:03Speaker 3: illegal alien was illegally and recklessly conducting unlicensed boat tours
- 12:09Speaker 3: in New York Harbor. Ice now has him in custody.
- 12:12Speaker 3: They will be deporting him. They could try him here
- 12:15Speaker 3: and convict him of all kinds of things. At least
- 12:18Speaker 3: they got him off the street. He does face justice
- 12:21Speaker 3: for his crimes, and then I guess they'll convict him
- 12:25Speaker 3: and then Mullen says they will swiftly remove him and
- 12:29Speaker 3: send him back to Al Salvador. Hey, the White House
- 12:33Speaker 3: Press Secretary of Caroline Levitt is stepping down. As we know,
- 12:37Speaker 3: it'll happen pretty soon. He's got a few weeks left.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Alina Habba was the front runner to be the replacement.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Looked like she was going to be it. She's taken
- 12:47Speaker 3: herself out of the running. She said, she is not
- 12:51Speaker 3: in the running. She doesn't want the job now. I
- 12:53Speaker 3: don't know why. It could be. She's a prosecutor, always
- 12:56Speaker 3: been a prosecutor, and she's working in the Department of Justice,
- 13:00Speaker 3: and maybe that's what she really wants to do, continue
- 13:02Speaker 3: to be a prosecutor. Look at Janeine Piro, prosecutor all
- 13:06Speaker 3: her life. Then she goes into TV ends up being
- 13:10Speaker 3: on the Five. It's the number one show in cable news,
- 13:13Speaker 3: the single most watch show in cable news. Making a
- 13:16Speaker 3: fortune she's on the five. Gives it all up because
- 13:19Speaker 3: she wants to go be a prosecutor against us. For
- 13:21Speaker 3: some of these people, it's just in their blood. They
- 13:24Speaker 3: this is what they want to do. They don't want
- 13:26Speaker 3: to be a TV star, they don't want to do
- 13:28Speaker 3: so that could be the case with Alina. Hobbit just
- 13:30Speaker 3: wants to continue with the work. She loves being a prosecutor.
- 13:33Speaker 3: The other thing is it's not the glamorous job you
- 13:36Speaker 3: think it is. Oh, you get up there for a
- 13:38Speaker 3: half hour a day and you're on all the TV
- 13:41Speaker 3: stations and you're the press secretary and you get all
- 13:43Speaker 3: kinds of attention, But the part you don't see. You
- 13:47Speaker 3: got to get there at seven am. You don't leave
- 13:49Speaker 3: till eight o'clock at night. You're working like thirteen hours
- 13:52Speaker 3: a day, and then when you're home they call you
- 13:55Speaker 3: every hour anything happens that you have to inform the
- 13:58Speaker 3: Press secretary. So if a ran sends a missile somewhere,
- 14:02Speaker 3: you get woken up at three in the morning at
- 14:03Speaker 3: Scent com telling you what happened. If there's a crash somewhere,
- 14:08Speaker 3: you get woken up at five in the morning because
- 14:10Speaker 3: the FAA will tell you what happened. It happens all weekend.
- 14:15Speaker 3: You get phone calls day and night, waking up, So
- 14:17Speaker 3: a lot of people that's one of the reasons Caroline
- 14:19Speaker 3: Levitt is leaving. Just had another baby. She doesn't want
- 14:23Speaker 3: to be at work thirteen fourteen hours a day and
- 14:26Speaker 3: getting woken up all day and night with phone calls.
- 14:28Speaker 3: She just doesn't want it anymore. So who's going to
- 14:30Speaker 3: replace her?
- 14:31Speaker 4: Then?
- 14:33Speaker 3: Anna Kelly is in the lead. Next, she's a deputy
- 14:36Speaker 3: press secretary. She's high on the list. Matt Boyle, he's
- 14:41Speaker 3: a guy from Breitbart, very high on the list. A
- 14:44Speaker 3: lot of people are talking about Scott Jennings, and Scott
- 14:47Speaker 3: Jennings seems to be playing that up a little. But
- 14:51Speaker 3: Scott Jennings started a radio show, a podcast, a TV show,
- 14:57Speaker 3: He's got all kinds of things in addition to his
- 14:59Speaker 3: work on End. So he's built quite a career and
- 15:02Speaker 3: he's making millions, millions and millions. I don't think, I
- 15:06Speaker 3: don't I really can't see him giving that up. But
- 15:08Speaker 3: you never know. You never know. He's worked in government before.
- 15:11Speaker 3: He worked for George share w. Bush. You never know.
- 15:14Speaker 3: But he giving up a hell a lot of money
- 15:16Speaker 3: to go do that. But there's other people on the list,
- 15:19Speaker 3: but we'll see. Hey, we'll text some calls next. Eight
- 15:22Speaker 3: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. No, No,
- 15:31Speaker 3: Mark Zi long show now until noon weekdays for Mark
- 15:35Speaker 3: sevent ten. Woo, Hey, let's text some calls. Eight hundred
- 15:40Speaker 3: three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well. Thank you.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Mark.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Regarding the Police Athletic League, we know that this very
- 15:54Speaker 4: vital organization works closely the police with students. I'm wondering
- 16:00Speaker 4: do they follow up and do they ultimately invoke some
- 16:05Speaker 4: of these students to get into law enforcement. Oh?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Yeah, Actually I'm on the board of the police Many many,
- 16:11Speaker 3: many kids come out of there, and you know, they
- 16:15Speaker 3: work and get to know the police, and many of
- 16:17Speaker 3: them have joined the police department. Many of them. In fact,
- 16:21Speaker 3: you got a lot of famous people that were PAL
- 16:23Speaker 3: kids that the PAL took care of them when they
- 16:25Speaker 3: were kids. You had a lot of chairman's of big companies.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Tony Danza, who's on the board for years, was a
- 16:32Speaker 3: pal kid. Plenty of cases of that. It's a good organization.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Donald Trump on the board as well, Mark.
- 16:39Speaker 3: For twenty five years. Donald Trump was on the board.
- 16:41Speaker 3: In fact, for many of those years we had the
- 16:44Speaker 3: board meetings in his office, in his conference room. Yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 3: he was on the board for years. Still checks in
- 16:50Speaker 3: with the board every now and then. But thanks for calling.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Let's go to John and Queen's John. How you doing?
- 16:57Speaker 2: All right?
- 16:57Speaker 5: Good? I wanted to tell you if I own't gotrow,
- 17:00Speaker 5: we'll be all my run for president? Is that true?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Well you just found out about this?
- 17:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I heard it on another radio state.
- 17:09Speaker 3: No kidding. Why you are just getting up to date?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Marco Rubio, uh, jaj Van Scott best.
- 17:17Speaker 4: All right?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Hey, you know Lindbergh Landed. I don't know if you
- 17:19Speaker 3: heard yet. Nothing, don't worry about it anyway. Thanks for Colin.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Let's go to uh, let's go to Joe and Patterson. Joe,
- 17:28Speaker 3: how you doing. Oh wait a minute, let me push
- 17:32Speaker 3: the button.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead, Joe, Mark, Yeah, Hi, yeah, you're
- 17:37Speaker 2: talking about Campbell before. I think nineteen seventy one is
- 17:40Speaker 2: when they stopped TV ever.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Somebody cha, you sound like you're really in a hurry.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I got a breath, like somebody's chasing you. Calm down,
- 17:46Speaker 3: slow down. Oh no, no no.
- 17:48Speaker 2: But what really hurt was when when he ended up
- 17:51Speaker 2: magazine advertising. I think Joe Campbell has something to do
- 17:54Speaker 2: with that, because they brought every inside back cover every magazine.
- 17:57Speaker 3: That was okay, so say it again. Nineteen seventy one
- 18:01Speaker 3: is when they stop cigarette ads.
- 18:03Speaker 2: TV ads, and then later as a result Joe Kim
- 18:06Speaker 2: Will being so popular, they added magazine advertising.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that's interesting. Thanks. Yeah, all of a sudden
- 18:14Speaker 3: you decided that would ban cigarette advertising. It was a huge,
- 18:17Speaker 3: huge blow to TV and radio, to broadcast that was
- 18:22Speaker 3: like the number one advertiser. And if you watch mad Men,
- 18:24Speaker 3: there's a bunch of episodes about this where it was
- 18:27Speaker 3: a huge blow the ad agencies because without the TV
- 18:30Speaker 3: and radio buys, they couldn't make as much money off
- 18:32Speaker 3: these accounts. In nineteen seventy one, that's interesting, and then
- 18:35Speaker 3: later magazine ads banned them. Yeah, you're not allowed to
- 18:39Speaker 3: cigarette you can't advertise those on the radio. Liquor hard
- 18:42Speaker 3: liquor can't advertise it on the radio, and I don't
- 18:45Speaker 3: know why you should be able to. Let's go to
- 18:49Speaker 3: Mario in New Jersey. Mario, how you doing.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Oh, good morning, Mark, thanks to taking my call. Regarding
- 18:57Speaker 4: those those folks that refer to Trump as bone spurs. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 4: I grew up in the late sixties, early seventies, and
- 19:06Speaker 4: I was a draft age. What a lot of people
- 19:09Speaker 4: don't know back then is if you went to college,
- 19:12Speaker 4: you will automatically differ from the draft.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 4: And I never heard anybody saying that those college guys
- 19:19Speaker 4: were what draft are.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Just so, No, Trump was not a draft dodgery. Legitimately
- 19:23Speaker 3: got out of the draft. Now he had a powerful father,
- 19:25Speaker 3: could have pulled a few strings. Maybe he didn't really
- 19:28Speaker 3: have those bone spurs. I mean that happens. But he
- 19:30Speaker 3: had all the student deferments, and again it was it
- 19:33Speaker 3: was normal. Joe Biden, for instance, I got five student deferments.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And then then he I forget what he claimed he
- 19:41Speaker 3: had like two medical deferments for asthma, for things nobody
- 19:44Speaker 3: ever saw any other time. And if you if you
- 19:47Speaker 3: read his autobiography, there's no mention of any of this.
- 19:49Speaker 3: It's like that stutter he claimed he had. Nobody guy's
- 19:52Speaker 3: been speaking in public for fifty years. Nobody ever heard
- 19:55Speaker 3: him stutter once. A lot of these guys, Dick Cheney
- 19:58Speaker 3: had all those student deferments, and it was I mean,
- 20:02Speaker 3: it was. It happened all the time back then. Let's
- 20:04Speaker 3: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Good morning? Mark Mark? The lowest grade boat license that
- 20:13Speaker 1: you could get that you're allowed to take four high
- 20:16Speaker 1: clients out a coast guard license. That's called a six pack,
- 20:21Speaker 1: right Rich. That means you could take up to six
- 20:24Speaker 1: people on your boat. The boat that that this illegal
- 20:28Speaker 1: Allien had this twenty two foot one boat, I wouldn't
- 20:32Speaker 1: put including the pilot. I wouldn't put more than four
- 20:37Speaker 1: people on it. I used to go out with a guy,
- 20:40Speaker 1: a businessman, an executive, who lived in Jersey City, and
- 20:44Speaker 1: we would go out and go fishing right out, and he.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Had no Vincent, be honest, were you taking things out
- 20:53Speaker 3: of the water or putting things into in the water?
- 20:56Speaker 3: In the water, That's what I all?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Right?
- 20:57Speaker 3: And uh, what was Tony Soprano's both.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I don't remember, But anyway, compared to this guy's twenty
- 21:07Speaker 1: two foot boat. This friend of mine had a twenty
- 21:11Speaker 1: eight foot boat. I'm not going to mention the name
- 21:14Speaker 1: of very popular brand to dual two hundred and fifty
- 21:19Speaker 1: horsepower engines. And the width of the boat means a
- 21:23Speaker 1: lot to beam. The beam of his boat the width
- 21:26Speaker 1: was eleven foot wife the white of the boat, the
- 21:29Speaker 1: more stable it is. And he when he wasn't taking
- 21:33Speaker 1: people out fishing, he would toodle around Manhattan. He would
- 21:37Speaker 1: take Japanese tourists because they would pay through the nose
- 21:42Speaker 1: to go to get a bird's eye view of Manhattan.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But he went to actually a school to get that license.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I remember at the time, thirty years ago, he paid
- 21:53Speaker 1: about one thousand dollars just to go to school and
- 21:56Speaker 1: attend classes. And you have to take an official closet debt.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah, well that makes sense.
- 22:01Speaker 5: And so compared to this guy who should be charged
- 22:06Speaker 5: with second degree murder, illegal operating of a vessel, and
- 22:11Speaker 5: he should be button jailed here and then when he
- 22:14Speaker 5: rots and he's old, then sending them back the way
- 22:16Speaker 5: he came from the collect welfare.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Well, he is getting convicted of all that stuff, and
- 22:21Speaker 3: I think they'll probably I don't know. They'll probably deport
- 22:22Speaker 3: him and just get him the hell out of here.
- 22:24Speaker 3: But Vincent great call is always Hey when we come back,
- 22:27Speaker 3: the great economist Steve Moore, Now all this stuff. You
- 22:31Speaker 3: can hear this all day. Oh the trailer forty trillion
- 22:34Speaker 3: dollar debt, the economies and shamp We'll get that real
- 22:37Speaker 3: story in a minute on seven to ten Work Live
- 22:41Speaker 3: from the wr Life Back Studios marks him on. Well, hey,
- 22:47Speaker 3: actually we have the perfect guest for what we've been
- 22:49Speaker 3: talking about this hour, that fake news story about the
- 22:52Speaker 3: forty billion dollars debt, trillion dollar debt. Steve Moore is
- 22:56Speaker 3: the great economist. You should get his latest book, The
- 22:58Speaker 3: Trump Economic Miracle. Also, he runs the committee to Unleash
- 23:03Speaker 3: Prosperity dot com. They put out the best daily briefing
- 23:07Speaker 3: news analysis. It's free, it'll come right to your email.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Go sign up for it. Just go to Unleash Prosperity
- 23:14Speaker 3: dot com. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Big, Good morning, Mark doing very well on the left
- 23:22Speaker 4: coast today in sunny California. So doing just fines.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Hey all day, we're going to hear the biggest story
- 23:28Speaker 3: all day. Dad has reached forty trillion dollars and I
- 23:32Speaker 3: heard the network anchor say, and it's due to the
- 23:36Speaker 3: Trump tax cuts in the cost of the Iran wary.
- 23:41Speaker 4: So a couple things on this. Obviously, everyone knows we
- 23:45Speaker 4: spend way too much money in Washington. It's a self
- 23:49Speaker 4: evident truth. And so we have to start slashing some spending.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And Elon Musk tried to do that with Dose and
- 23:56Speaker 4: they cut some spending, but they only really skim the
- 23:59Speaker 4: cream off of the incredible waste in our budget. So, yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 4: this is gonna be a wake up call that it's time
- 24:06Speaker 4: to slash our budget. We could probably get the better
- 24:09Speaker 4: government for about half the cost if we just got
- 24:11Speaker 4: rid of the wasist in duplication and fraud.
- 24:14Speaker 2: And then.
- 24:16Speaker 4: You look at the revenues and the tax revenues, the
- 24:19Speaker 4: tax revenues that are coming in are higher than they've
- 24:21Speaker 4: ever been.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Did you know that mouth Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah, so we know it's not like, oh, we need
- 24:26Speaker 4: more revenue. We have plenty of revenue. You know. It's like,
- 24:29Speaker 4: you know, Reagan used to say, you know, you never
- 24:31Speaker 4: give an alcoholic another drink, And that's what you do
- 24:34Speaker 4: if you raised access. If you're given an alcoholic another
- 24:37Speaker 4: drink now, is forty trillion dollars bad news? Yeah, it's
- 24:40Speaker 4: bad news. You know, it's you know, we want a
- 24:42Speaker 4: lower debt. But let's put this in perspective. The debt
- 24:45Speaker 4: today is forty troy and by the way, when you
- 24:47Speaker 4: take out about seven trillion of that is just money
- 24:50Speaker 4: the government owns to itself, So it's really the publicly
- 24:53Speaker 4: traded dead is about thirty three try and that's a
- 24:55Speaker 4: gigantic number. Now, if you look at the debt as
- 24:57Speaker 4: a share of our assets, you know that relative to
- 25:01Speaker 4: our wealth. You know, the wealth of the country is
- 25:03Speaker 4: one hundred and eighty trillion, so you know, our debt
- 25:06Speaker 4: to uh to you know, to our assets is about
- 25:09Speaker 4: less than twenty five percent. That's way way below what
- 25:12Speaker 4: it was even at the end of World War two.
- 25:14Speaker 4: So we're not going well, we're not going bankrupt, folks,
- 25:17Speaker 4: we're not. But we just have to. We can't we
- 25:19Speaker 4: just put the government on a diet. Nope, I guess not. No,
- 25:22Speaker 4: we can't do that. We've got to spend, spend, spend.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Well, if you look at the debt year by year,
- 25:26Speaker 3: it seems to go up about two or three trillion
- 25:28Speaker 3: every year and that's what it did here. It's the
- 25:29Speaker 3: same increase we.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Always get, so well, it's it's growing faster. And by
- 25:34Speaker 4: the way, this is the spending problem. You know. I
- 25:37Speaker 4: have to admit I'm a Republican, I admit it. But
- 25:39Speaker 4: the Republicans are just as goipy as the Democrats on
- 25:41Speaker 4: this stuff. I mean, they all want to spend, spend,
- 25:43Speaker 4: you know. They now the reverends, oh, we need another
- 25:45Speaker 4: five hundred billion for the military. Okay, if you do.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I don't know if you do or don't. I don't
- 25:49Speaker 4: think they depend of God needs more money. But if
- 25:51Speaker 4: they do, then take it out of other programs. You
- 25:53Speaker 4: know that Like when you do your family budget, if
- 25:56Speaker 4: you need to spend more on item X, you spend
- 25:59Speaker 4: money less and something else. That's not the way the
- 26:01Speaker 4: government does it. It just says, oh, we'll just we'll
- 26:04Speaker 4: just borrow it.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, let me ask you something else. I see
- 26:09Speaker 3: that doctor Fauci's partner, his chief advisor there, who's a
- 26:14Speaker 3: guy he was texting, emailing back and forth, David what's
- 26:17Speaker 3: his name, has been convicted. This guy is going to
- 26:20Speaker 3: prison for covering up the source of the of the virus.
- 26:24Speaker 3: So what does that mean for Fauci.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Well, that's a good question. Now Fauci has been partner
- 26:33Speaker 4: right by Tiden, so he's not going to jail. I
- 26:38Speaker 4: think that. You know, look, I've been thinking a lot
- 26:41Speaker 4: about this because we just had the sort of anniversary
- 26:44Speaker 4: of of of of COVID and and uh, you know,
- 26:48Speaker 4: we've had so much information coming out. What surprises me
- 26:51Speaker 4: the most about this whole episode is that liberals still
- 26:55Speaker 4: defend Fauci. If you notice that, they're not saying, oh,
- 26:58Speaker 4: you know, this guy's a fiend, we were wrong about him.
- 27:01Speaker 4: You know, look, we've all had, you know, been surprised
- 27:05Speaker 4: by people. You know, he thought this person was, you know,
- 27:07Speaker 4: not what he is. But but look, this was a
- 27:10Speaker 4: fiend and a rascal and everything he said, virtually everything
- 27:14Speaker 4: that came out of his mouth was a lie. And
- 27:16Speaker 4: yet the left won't admit it. They won't admit, boy,
- 27:19Speaker 4: we need a big mistake of putting this guy in
- 27:21Speaker 4: charge of you know, the country's economy.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Steve Moore, I love how you think the left is
- 27:26Speaker 3: ever going to say we were wrong.
- 27:28Speaker 4: We admit this, and I know they just won't. They won't,
- 27:31Speaker 4: they will not. But look, I admit what I've been wrong,
- 27:34Speaker 4: believing or not. I've been wrong in my life, you know,
- 27:36Speaker 4: and I admit. You know, when Bill Clinton became president,
- 27:39Speaker 4: I said, oh my god, the economy is going to
- 27:41Speaker 4: go into the toilet. And naturally we had a strong
- 27:43Speaker 4: economy because Clinton surprised me. He was a pretty fiscally
- 27:46Speaker 4: conservative president. So I admit when I'm wrong, But they
- 27:49Speaker 4: never do. Have You notice that they will not disassociate
- 27:52Speaker 4: for Fauci, who ruined our economy. One of the reasons
- 27:55Speaker 4: we have this massive debt is because we spent so
- 27:58Speaker 4: much money during Covidnet. You want to bring the debt down, folks,
- 28:01Speaker 4: why don't we I got an idea, Mark, I know
- 28:03Speaker 4: this is a wowd crazy idea. Why don't we just
- 28:05Speaker 4: go back to spending what we were spending before COVID.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good idea. Hey, speaking of Clinton, Bill Clinton,
- 28:11Speaker 3: they love to yell and scream about he's balanced the budget.
- 28:14Speaker 3: He finally balanced the budget. What did that actually mean
- 28:16Speaker 3: for us? And nothing really changed after that? Did it?
- 28:20Speaker 4: Well? I mean, look, when we had the when we did,
- 28:22Speaker 4: we did have what three years of balance budgets. Now
- 28:25Speaker 4: that was allowed to start because he had Nuke and
- 28:27Speaker 4: Rich and the Republicans of Congress. But look, Bill Clinton
- 28:30Speaker 4: was a fiscal remand how about this when people forget
- 28:32Speaker 4: it wasn't that long ago Bill Clinton gave the State
- 28:34Speaker 4: of the Union. Remember what he said the europe Big
- 28:37Speaker 4: government is over? Or was he wrong about that? By
- 28:40Speaker 4: the way, can you imagine any Democrat today? Can you
- 28:42Speaker 4: imagine if we had a president aoc starting her starting
- 28:45Speaker 4: her dress to the nation here, big government is over? Well,
- 28:49Speaker 4: worries me is about We're just at the beginning stages
- 28:52Speaker 4: of the era of big government.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Wow. Hey, Steve Moore and he puts out this daily
- 28:57Speaker 3: briefing called the Hotline. You got to subscribe to some stories.
- 29:00Speaker 3: You're in California. Is this true? You had this in
- 29:03Speaker 3: the hotline yesterday about the tires? Yeah, this is not true,
- 29:08Speaker 3: is it?
- 29:11Speaker 4: I mean I thought it wasn't true. My friend John Fund,
- 29:13Speaker 4: who's who worked for us and you know, great guy
- 29:16Speaker 4: from Walstert Journi and John he submitted the story. I'm like, John,
- 29:19Speaker 4: this can't be true. They can't be that stupid in California.
- 29:21Speaker 4: But they're now regulated. They're gonna have the government basically
- 29:24Speaker 4: make the tires and by the way the tires on
- 29:27Speaker 4: cars today are safer than they've ever been before. But
- 29:29Speaker 4: of course California has to regulate everything. And the problem
- 29:32Speaker 4: is why should people in New York care about what
- 29:34Speaker 4: California does. But because California is the biggest state, you know,
- 29:37Speaker 4: in terms of GDP that people have to you know,
- 29:41Speaker 4: all the companies have to comply with the California standards.
- 29:44Speaker 4: So they become like a death facto. So California is
- 29:47Speaker 4: going to be regulating your tires there in New York
- 29:49Speaker 4: and make them much more expensive.
- 29:51Speaker 3: And so but the regular normal tires, like everybody wants
- 29:54Speaker 3: Michelan or some really good tire, they're going to make
- 29:57Speaker 3: those illegal.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Lord knows what they've got planned. I mean, you know,
- 30:02Speaker 4: I they just but the thing is back to remember
- 30:05Speaker 4: in like the fifties, forties and fifties, you back in
- 30:08Speaker 4: the olden days when cars, you know, people, if you've
- 30:10Speaker 4: got to flat tire or car will go flying off
- 30:12Speaker 4: the ditch. You could die. I mean, today you can
- 30:14Speaker 4: practically drive twenty miles on a flat tire.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I mean it.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Tires are so much better. You don't see blowouts like
- 30:19Speaker 4: you used to. So I don't know what problem they're
- 30:21Speaker 4: trying to solve here in California. But this is but
- 30:25Speaker 4: here's the thing. Nobody's going to be able to drive
- 30:27Speaker 4: a car in California because of these new expensive tire regulations.
- 30:30Speaker 4: But you know what, that's okay, because they're going to
- 30:32Speaker 4: get on the high speed rail. Oh yeah, they didn't.
- 30:35Speaker 4: They spent thirty billion dollars, but they never built that.
- 30:38Speaker 3: So you go buy a card. They're going to take
- 30:39Speaker 3: the Michelin tires off and put mom down the tires.
- 30:44Speaker 4: I can't explain that the five explanation of what they
- 30:48Speaker 4: have planned, but they want to. You know, we used
- 30:50Speaker 4: to say, we used to laugh, and they say with
- 30:52Speaker 4: the left, you know, if it moves regulated, Well guess
- 30:55Speaker 4: what if it moves regulated?
- 30:59Speaker 3: Had another great story, and this ties in because the
- 31:02Speaker 3: Blue States, the Blue States, how many people are fleeing
- 31:05Speaker 3: leaving these Blue states.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Well this is an amazing story. So you know, as
- 31:09Speaker 4: I said, right, I'm in beautiful I mean California. There's
- 31:12Speaker 4: no more idyllic place on the planet than beautiful California.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I mean, it's seventy five degrees, the sun is out,
- 31:17Speaker 4: there's no humidity. You got the oceans, the mountains. I mean,
- 31:20Speaker 4: this is a little slice of heaven, and yet people
- 31:22Speaker 4: are leaving. People are leaving because the taxes are high
- 31:26Speaker 4: and the regulations are so onerous that for the first
- 31:28Speaker 4: time in American history, millions of people are leaving California
- 31:32Speaker 4: rather than coming into California. California last year lost population
- 31:37Speaker 4: to every state but two. By the way, New York
- 31:40Speaker 4: lost population every state but three.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 31:44Speaker 2: And by the way, what in New York and California
- 31:47Speaker 2: have in common?
- 31:48Speaker 3: Uh?
- 31:49Speaker 4: Crazy socialists, highest taxes in the country.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and they're fleeing to not other blue states, obviously,
- 31:57Speaker 3: they're fleeing the red states.
- 31:58Speaker 1: No.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Well, this is what's funny about the story. It guess
- 32:01Speaker 4: where they're going. They're going. Remember the old show, I
- 32:03Speaker 4: mean I think you're old. Remember the old TV show
- 32:05Speaker 4: about the clamp It's the Hill.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Yeah, Well they got their JEALOPPI they made They struck
- 32:12Speaker 4: oil and Oklahoma. So they go to Beverly Hills. Well
- 32:14Speaker 4: guess what now, people, Beverly Hills are going to Oklahoma.
- 32:20Speaker 3: It's the opposite. So it's like Green Acres. The city
- 32:23Speaker 3: selector moves to the country, so exactly. Well, Steve Moore,
- 32:28Speaker 3: great work.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Everybody, by the way, I had I had forgotten about that. Yeah,
- 32:32Speaker 4: Green Acres was sort of the opposite.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that was the guy that created Beverly Hillbilly
- 32:38Speaker 3: Paul Henning. They came to him and said, you got
- 32:40Speaker 3: anything else. He goes, let's just reverse it. Let's just
- 32:43Speaker 3: do the opposite.
- 32:44Speaker 4: And that was Eddie. What was the guy's name, Eddie?
- 32:50Speaker 2: And what ja?
- 32:53Speaker 3: Yeah, what a good memory. Yeah, and Eddiel every two seconds.
- 32:57Speaker 4: I used to remember all those shows from the sixties.
- 33:00Speaker 4: You know, they don't make TV shows like.
- 33:01Speaker 3: That anymore, Mark, No, but they're still on and reruns.
- 33:04Speaker 3: I watch them all the time. And Eddie Albert would
- 33:07Speaker 3: always say, oh, for Pete's sake to everybody there. That
- 33:10Speaker 3: was this big phrase. So Steve Moore, great stuff, as always,
- 33:14Speaker 3: keep up the good work, everybody. Get his book, The
- 33:16Speaker 3: Trump Economic Miracle, and go sign up for that daily briefing,
- 33:19Speaker 3: the hotline. Go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore,
- 33:24Speaker 3: great stuff, Thanks for being with us.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Okay, Mark, have a great weekend.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Take care, Take care, Eddie Albert, Ava Gabor, Oh, Pat Butcher,
- 33:33Speaker 3: mister Haney, Pat butcherm excellent. It was a guy named
- 33:38Speaker 3: Paul Henning created that he made a Fortune Beverly Hillbillies,
- 33:42Speaker 3: Green Acres. He also created petticoat Junction made a fortune anyway,
- 33:47Speaker 3: don't forget At noon today, Buck and Clay will be
- 33:51Speaker 3: here with a great show at three o'clock. The most
- 33:55Speaker 3: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity. You got
- 33:58Speaker 3: Jesse Kelly at six. If you haven't listened to Jimmy Faylis,
- 34:01Speaker 3: start listening nine to midnight. It is the funniest, fastest
- 34:05Speaker 3: pace show nine to midnight. In fact, Jimmy Faylor will

- 34:30Speaker 3: heavy at times, and then tomorrow should be okay, pretty
