Satan’s Sustenance (I Peter 5:8; LD 52)
Trusting God in TemptationIn the Lord’s Prayer, we ask, “Lead us not into temptation.” Yet Scripture promises that God never tempts anyone (James 1:13). Why, then, do we pray this way? Peter helps us see the answer. He once boldly declared he would never deny Jesus. Jesus warned him that Satan asked to sift Peter.
