- 0:00Speaker 1: This podcast is recorded on gadigal Land. Always was, Always
- 0:03Speaker 1: will be Aboriginal Land. Heytisime out and this is two
- 0:13Speaker 1: broad chicks show that shares life, listens and tips to
- 0:15Speaker 1: help make you rich in life. And Welcome back, sour Welcome.
- 0:20Speaker 1: One week it was horrible. I felt so lonely. Lonely,
- 0:28Speaker 1: I know, but you've got practice doing a solo pod.
- 0:31Speaker 1: So I still missed you.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I missed you guys too. Glad to be
- 0:35Speaker 2: back fresh off the live show. The group chat tool
- 0:40Speaker 2: was all done and dust it.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I know, it went so quickly. It went so quick,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I actually can't believe. It feels like a fever dream. Yes,
- 0:47Speaker 1: so much fun. It was so cool seeing like the
- 0:50Speaker 1: mixes before the show. Yeah, so we like organized venues
- 0:54Speaker 1: and a bar tab for all the solo chicks like
- 0:56Speaker 1: go and meet up and make friends. And I was
- 1:00Speaker 1: seeing like the stories of where people tagged us of
- 1:02Speaker 1: them like going out after the show as well.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And I was just like, it's so cute. Yeah, And
- 1:07Speaker 2: we like run into some chicks who had gone and
- 1:10Speaker 2: they were like, yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 1: We made like a group chat after we're all.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Going to catch up, and I'm like, yes, like that
- 1:14Speaker 2: was exactly what we wanted to come out of those
- 1:17Speaker 2: mixes so exactly.
- 1:19Speaker 1: And at the show, we had you chicks send in
- 1:24Speaker 1: your diabolical stories dilemmas, and we could only read four
- 1:29Speaker 1: per show, so we were like, do you know what,
- 1:31Speaker 1: let's bring that segment to the potty and we're going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to be reading even more of your diabolical confessions, storytimes
- 1:41Speaker 1: and advice. So before we get into it, though, what's
- 1:45Speaker 1: your obsession of the weeks? Yea, my obsession of the week?
- 1:48Speaker 2: I was actually just inspired because Al and I were
- 1:50Speaker 2: talking about cozy games and one that I've probably got
- 1:56Speaker 2: maybe like a month or two ago now, but I
- 1:58Speaker 2: haven't mentioned on the show. Yeah, is the Tales of
- 2:01Speaker 2: the Shire, which is the Hobbit game that you can
- 2:04Speaker 2: play on Nintendo Switch. And it's like the perfect cozy game,
- 2:09Speaker 2: especially if you're a fantasy girl. Like all of the
- 2:13Speaker 2: tasks and things that you have to do are like
- 2:16Speaker 2: really cute and simple and comforting, Like you get some
- 2:19Speaker 2: of them. You have to go meet certain people in
- 2:21Speaker 2: the town and find like the rule book of the town,
- 2:24Speaker 2: and you have to go fishing, and you have to
- 2:27Speaker 2: like garden.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Don't you make like a herb garden as well.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like a garden, and then you move into like
- 2:35Speaker 2: an old Hobbit hole and then so as you do
- 2:38Speaker 2: more challenges, you also can like fix up and customize hole.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It's just such a cute fun game. It's like very
- 2:44Speaker 1: like Animal Crossing ESQ, but it's like Lord of the
- 2:47Speaker 1: Rings fantasy kind of more like that realm exactly. Yeah,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I'm on my Animal Crossing bullshit, like let's let's get
- 2:57Speaker 1: the fruit. Everybody in trees so into it in like lockdown,
- 3:01Speaker 1: lockdown and everything. Yeah, I reckon, let's bring it back.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I'm I'm in. It was an impulse purchase, like it
- 3:08Speaker 1: was the Sunday after the live show, and I was
- 3:10Speaker 1: like I deserve a treat. Yeah, I deserve a little something.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And went to all three shops and like got it
- 3:18Speaker 1: price matched and I saved like two hundred bucks what
- 3:21Speaker 1: of like six hundred dollars. That's so good. I know.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The cheek there was an absolute legend. She was like, yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I have one of these, and I was like, look,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I'm not like hardcore game of girly. Yeah, it'll be
- 3:31Speaker 1: like I'm just a little loser that wants to play
- 3:33Speaker 1: like my CRO's little game. So I was like, do
- 3:35Speaker 1: I need the new one or do I just get
- 3:36Speaker 1: the old one because that's obviously on sale because the
- 3:38Speaker 1: new ones come out. She was like, let me look
- 3:40Speaker 1: online because normally in store they only price match if
- 3:44Speaker 1: you can go and get it, like in store somewhere
- 3:46Speaker 1: in that center right Like it'd be like if there's
- 3:49Speaker 1: a Jbi Hi Fi, what's the BONDI Harvey Norman doing?
- 3:52Speaker 1: And that's what they price match. But she went through
- 3:55Speaker 1: all the internet, and all the internet. She went through
- 3:58Speaker 1: the web. She like found some random website and found
- 4:04Speaker 1: it for like the absolute cheapest. And the thing is,
- 4:06Speaker 1: the Nintendo One was being sold for like four hundred
- 4:10Speaker 1: and seventy six dollars, and then she got me the
- 4:12Speaker 1: Nintendo Switch to for six hundred dollars. She was like,
- 4:15Speaker 1: there you go. And I was like, hey, I love you. Yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 1: she was like, yeah, you might as well get it.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Two.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I was like, do you have a kiss? Literally, come
- 4:24Speaker 1: on now you stop that. But also keep going, Oh,
- 4:28Speaker 1: what's the day. Oh my god, I just realized the
- 4:31Speaker 1: new Witch season's out in three days. I know, I know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: we don't care because it's not Henry cavill, But like,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I just want to just finish it. You know, I
- 4:40Speaker 1: don't know if I'm going to bother Oh, come on,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I don't know. I'll see, Okay. My obsession of the
- 4:47Speaker 1: week is it's sales season. It is it's coming, dude' dude.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The twenty twenty four season sounded exactly the same, I know,
- 4:59Speaker 1: but we we are bringing back the Two Broke Chicks
- 5:02Speaker 1: Black Friday Sales cheat sheet. She is loading, she is prepped,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and she is ready. Basically, if you don't know what
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is, hey, how's your Internet? Is a broken? Every
- 5:13Speaker 1: single sale event, we create the Two Broach Chicks sales
- 5:15Speaker 1: cheat sheet, and Black Friday is our biggest sales cheat sheet.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Of the year.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We spend hours manually going through all the sales and
- 5:23Speaker 1: picking the best ones to put in a cheat sheet.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We collect all the best sales from fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home, travel, accessories.
- 5:32Speaker 1: If it's on sale, you name it, you know it's
- 5:34Speaker 1: in there. And this year we are going to be
- 5:38Speaker 1: doing our charity initiative again, so we will be donating
- 5:42Speaker 1: one hundred percent of affiliate revenue that we own from
- 5:45Speaker 1: the cheat sheet to charity. So what I want to
- 5:49Speaker 1: know from the chicks is what charities would they like
- 5:52Speaker 1: us to donate to, because last year we picked them,
- 5:55Speaker 1: but this year we want you to pick the charities
- 5:57Speaker 1: that we donate to because it's an initiate if that's
- 6:00Speaker 1: really close to our heart. We know that our cheat
- 6:03Speaker 1: chet gets hundreds of thousands of views, and you know
- 6:06Speaker 1: we want to be able to do something good with that.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So if you want to shop Black Friday and click
- 6:10Speaker 1: frenzy sales and donate to charity in the same time
- 6:14Speaker 1: and basically be better than everyone else, make sure you
- 6:17Speaker 1: follow around and stick around for more because it's coming.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so let us know in the comments where you
- 6:23Speaker 2: want us to donate too, because all ideas are welcome.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's my obsession. I'm obsessed with us. Yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 1: I love that. Yeah, it's queez. Seriously all right, shall
- 6:33Speaker 1: we get into our diabolical confessions. It's high sound. Now,
- 6:37Speaker 1: this isn't exactly a convention, but it is a crazy
- 6:40Speaker 1: story and I know you guys will appreciate it. I
- 6:42Speaker 1: love the podcast. Listening to a new episode is my
- 6:45Speaker 1: favorite part of the week. I hope this story gives
- 6:47Speaker 1: you a good love and a jaw drop. My favorite.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna eat feed us okay. My ex boyfriend and
- 6:55Speaker 1: I met in high school around year eight. We were
- 6:58Speaker 1: in the same year, but had never I knew that
- 7:01Speaker 1: within his friend group, he was the runt of the litter,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the one that the boys would always pick on. One lunchtime,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I saw him sitting on the oval by himself for
- 7:11Speaker 1: I felt bad, so I went up to ask him
- 7:13Speaker 1: if he was okay. After hesitation, he told me that
- 7:16Speaker 1: his mum had just been diagnosed with cancer and it's
- 7:19Speaker 1: not looking good and he didn't know who to talk
- 7:22Speaker 1: to or what to do. I comforted him and told
- 7:25Speaker 1: him I would be there for him if he needed anything.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Fast forward, five years of friendship later, we started dating.
- 7:32Speaker 1: His mum beat cancer and we were happy. We then
- 7:35Speaker 1: dated for three years. Our relationship was great. It was
- 7:38Speaker 1: smooth sailing. We didn't fight much, and we had lots
- 7:41Speaker 1: in common. I was close with his mom as he
- 7:44Speaker 1: was the oldest son and he had triplet younger brothers,
- 7:47Speaker 1: so I was the only other female around. Wow. We
- 7:50Speaker 1: chatted about shopping and clothes, and I had helped her
- 7:53Speaker 1: do her hair for events she attended with her husband.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But I never brought up the cancer, as it felt
- 7:58Speaker 1: like their family had left it in the park. Oh God.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Around the three year mark of our relationship, we started
- 8:04Speaker 1: to drift. We were young and on very different parts.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I was in UNI studying medicine and he was a
- 8:09Speaker 1: trade We stopped prioritizing each other. Eventually we went our
- 8:14Speaker 1: separate ways on good terms. We still saw each other
- 8:17Speaker 1: occasionally as we had the same friendship group, but we
- 8:21Speaker 1: decided that it would be best that we stopped texting
- 8:23Speaker 1: good gear. Six months past and all was well. We
- 8:26Speaker 1: still had a nice friendship when we spoke at the
- 8:29Speaker 1: odd event until one day I got a message from
- 8:33Speaker 1: his best friend. He told me that my ex was
- 8:36Speaker 1: not doing okay and that his mom's cancer had come back.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He said he didn't know what to do and asked
- 8:41Speaker 1: me if I would message him, as I helped him
- 8:43Speaker 1: deal with it last time. I of course agreed. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: loved his mum. I messaged and said we should meet
- 8:49Speaker 1: for dinner, as this wasn't an over the phone conversation.
- 8:52Speaker 1: We went to dinner. I cried and he cried about
- 8:55Speaker 1: the thought of losing his mum. He told me she
- 8:57Speaker 1: had a forty percent chance of surviving and the cancer
- 9:00Speaker 1: was much more aggressive. I spent the next five months
- 9:03Speaker 1: bending over backwards to be there for him, from driving
- 9:06Speaker 1: to canber for a concert with him so he wouldn't
- 9:08Speaker 1: be alone, to help him swim train for a triathlon.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He told my parents and my mum cooked meals for
- 9:16Speaker 1: his whole family to take some of the pressure off.
- 9:18Speaker 1: When his mum was booked in for surgery, he told
- 9:21Speaker 1: me he took the day off work. He sent me
- 9:23Speaker 1: photos of him sitting in a hospital room all day waiting,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and that he had bought her a blueberry muffin for
- 9:28Speaker 1: when she came out. He sent me pictures of paperwork
- 9:31Speaker 1: the receipts were there. He told me they were starting
- 9:34Speaker 1: chemo because they couldn't remove all of it during surgery.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It was hard news to hear, and I was devastated
- 9:40Speaker 1: for him and his family. I feel like I know
- 9:42Speaker 1: where this story is going, and I'm, like him, not ready.
- 9:46Speaker 1: A week after surgery, my best friend and I ran
- 9:48Speaker 1: into one of his younger brothers out at the shops.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I asked him how his mum was doing and if
- 9:54Speaker 1: he was coping okay. He told me he was fine
- 9:57Speaker 1: and his mum was fine. The confass put a little
- 10:00Speaker 1: red flag in my head. I thought, why does he
- 10:03Speaker 1: seem so chill about his mom's starting chemo? But I
- 10:06Speaker 1: brushed it off. Five hours later, I got a call
- 10:09Speaker 1: from my ex's dad. I answered while I was in
- 10:11Speaker 1: the car with my best friend. I was polite and
- 10:14Speaker 1: said hi, and he said Hi, I hope you're well.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It has come to my attention that my son has
- 10:19Speaker 1: been spreading news about my wife that isn't true. Yes, dad, Oh, speechless,
- 10:28Speaker 1: he said, his wife has never had cancer, She's completely healthy,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and they have no idea why he's been going around
- 10:35Speaker 1: saying these rumors. Oh my god. And the best friend
- 10:41Speaker 1: what the fuck? But he's probably lied to the best friend.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I was shocked. I said, I'm glad she wasn't dying
- 10:49Speaker 1: and hung up. I tried to process the fact that
- 10:52Speaker 1: the last eight years of our friendship was based on
- 10:54Speaker 1: a lie. Our relationship was based on a lie he
- 10:58Speaker 1: kept going for eight year. I texted his best friend
- 11:02Speaker 1: asking if he knew. He also had no idea he
- 11:05Speaker 1: had fooled everyone.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I then had to go into work, so I wasn't
- 11:12Speaker 1: on my phone for five hours. I finished work and
- 11:14Speaker 1: had a message from him saying he was sorry and
- 11:18Speaker 1: he will always love me Rose. I never responded and
- 11:23Speaker 1: never spoke to him again. Two months later, he started
- 11:27Speaker 1: dating another girl. It has now been two years since
- 11:29Speaker 1: I found out he was lying, and just last month
- 11:32Speaker 1: they both came into my work. It was the first
- 11:35Speaker 1: time I had seen him since. I scanned their license
- 11:37Speaker 1: and didn't say a word to him. I just smiled
- 11:39Speaker 1: and chatted to other people in the line to come
- 11:41Speaker 1: into the venue I work at. I then watched them
- 11:44Speaker 1: leave separately. One of my friends messaged me and told
- 11:48Speaker 1: me they broke up at my work. Hilarious. I got
- 11:51Speaker 1: to witness that, And honestly, it is Colma for being
- 11:53Speaker 1: a bad human life lesson. Always get the full facts,
- 11:57Speaker 1: don't believe everything that comes out of someone's mouth, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: always be able to see the red flags no matter
- 12:02Speaker 1: how in love you are. What the fuck that is crazy?
- 12:07Speaker 1: The thing though, is that like he gave all of
- 12:10Speaker 1: these alleged receipts and made them up. That's like, that's
- 12:15Speaker 1: compulsive liar.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah, the photos of the documents the hospital room, like
- 12:20Speaker 2: the details.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Did he go to the hospital? Did he get them
- 12:23Speaker 1: from the internet? How did he get that. Yeah, what
- 12:28Speaker 1: the hell? That would be so fucked because exactly what
- 12:33Speaker 1: she said, you'd be like, the whole thing was a lie.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and like when you have been in a relationship
- 12:39Speaker 2: with someone and you get close to their family, like
- 12:42Speaker 2: they do become part of your family too.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And even he's then made that story up to get
- 12:50Speaker 1: her back into his life.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well he's like it worked the first time, which
- 12:54Speaker 2: like he was in the eight the first time?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Here, can you sue? Did you sue for that? Can
- 12:59Speaker 1: you sue for like a way of time? All right,
- 13:01Speaker 1: Kerry did it? I would sue him. I would sue
- 13:04Speaker 1: him for wasting my time. I would seek compensation for
- 13:08Speaker 1: all this shit I did for you that was a lie,
- 13:12Speaker 1: Like driving down to Camber for the concert, petrol money
- 13:15Speaker 1: told they add up accommodation. That's so fun. Ill, do
- 13:20Speaker 1: you know what? Do you know what would suck? Imagine
- 13:23Speaker 1: finding out that your son was such a fucking loser
- 13:26Speaker 1: that he lied about you being sick to get a girl.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I know, those poor parents. I love that the dad
- 13:33Speaker 1: was the dad was like I'm.
- 13:34Speaker 2: So embarrassed and told the dad and was like I
- 13:39Speaker 2: just had a conversation. She was asking about this, which
- 13:42Speaker 2: is so wild. It feels like everybody either knows or
- 13:48Speaker 2: knows of somebody who has lied about something like that. Yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 2: and I know that it obviously comes from like a
- 13:56Speaker 2: deep rooted issue. Yeah, you need to get attention from that.
- 14:02Speaker 2: But as you know, somebody whose parent has had cancer
- 14:05Speaker 2: before like that is so fucked yeah to lie about.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And I would just encourage anybody to go get help
- 14:15Speaker 2: if they, like legitimately, if you know they are experiencing that,
- 14:20Speaker 2: because what the hell.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm so glad that she is out
- 14:24Speaker 1: of that relationship for you, Jick and love that was
- 14:27Speaker 1: like married or something. I know, I love that she
- 14:29Speaker 1: just never spoke to him again. Yes, say they're like,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'll always love you. Get out of here. Diabolical, diabolical.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Hey Chix. Firstly, I love your podcast and I'm so
- 14:42Speaker 1: excited for the Melbourne Show. Now to the good stuff.
- 14:47Speaker 2: How do you deal with a breakup you initiated when
- 14:49Speaker 2: you're not entirely certain it was the right decision for context,
- 14:54Speaker 2: My ex and I were together for two years.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It was a roller coaster.
- 14:58Speaker 2: We enjoyed long distance, then live close together, then faced
- 15:03Speaker 2: a pregnancy that we chose not to continue. I hold
- 15:06Speaker 2: the belief that a child deserves a stable, loving and
- 15:09Speaker 2: supportive home, and at that time we simply did not
- 15:12Speaker 2: have that. He was on his own mental health journey,
- 15:15Speaker 2: unofficially diagnosed with OCD, he had seen a psychologist earlier
- 15:20Speaker 2: this year. He traveled overseas, only to return within a
- 15:23Speaker 2: week because he was having mental health issues, which followed
- 15:26Speaker 2: which was followed by a spiral. He cut off communication
- 15:29Speaker 2: and slipped into some bad coping mechanisms that didn't serve him.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I stayed.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I supported him even when it consumed me. Eventually I
- 15:40Speaker 2: ended the relationship. The decision came from fear, from exhaustion,
- 15:44Speaker 2: and from a realization that I was sacrificing my own
- 15:47Speaker 2: mental health entirely. Yet breaking it off left me haunted
- 15:51Speaker 2: by the idea that I was abandoning him, leaving him
- 15:54Speaker 2: to his demons, and perhaps betraying my role as his anchor.
- 15:59Speaker 1: He says he felt blindsided.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I question if I gave up, but I also know
- 16:04Speaker 2: I had to choose myself, perhaps for the first time. Now,
- 16:09Speaker 2: I am stuck in the limbo of doubt. Am I
- 16:11Speaker 2: the villain for ending it instead of pushing through and
- 16:14Speaker 2: communicating everything I had suppressed or was this a necessary selfish.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Act of survival?
- 16:21Speaker 2: What is the right way to navigate a breakup that
- 16:24Speaker 2: carries this much emotional weight?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that is a huge, huge question.
- 16:33Speaker 2: But it sounds like you were there for him, Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 2: through a lot of it, you know, like, and you
- 16:37Speaker 2: did really try and support him, and you were there
- 16:43Speaker 2: for him through a lot of it, So I.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Don't think you've abandoned him at all. The biggest disservice
- 16:49Speaker 1: you can do to someone is by staying with them
- 16:52Speaker 1: purely out of guilt, you know, by staying in a
- 16:56Speaker 1: relationship where you don't necessarily feel that love anymore, where
- 17:01Speaker 1: you don't feel like they're the person for you, where
- 17:04Speaker 1: you don't really want to be there, but you're only
- 17:05Speaker 1: staying because you feel guilty to break up with them,
- 17:09Speaker 1: or you feel like they need you but you don't
- 17:11Speaker 1: necessarily need them, And that's the only reason you should
- 17:15Speaker 1: absolutely break up with them. You haven't abandoned them at all.
- 17:20Speaker 1: But it's like you do have to look out for yourself,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and it's also not fair for someone who has, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: mental health problems or is struggling with you know, bad
- 17:31Speaker 1: coping mechanisms. It's not fair to make you then number
- 17:35Speaker 1: one and only anchor. That is too much pressure to
- 17:39Speaker 1: put on someone that I'm not surprised that you were like,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I can't do this. Yeah, that's so true.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And you said that he felt blindsided, but that doesn't
- 17:48Speaker 2: mean that you weren't giving him signs which he either
- 17:52Speaker 2: was ignoring or wasn't capable of seeing.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Because yeah, what he's going through. But also, what are
- 17:57Speaker 1: you supposed to do, like edge someone for a break up? Yeah, Like,
- 18:03Speaker 1: it doesn't really matter if he saw it coming or
- 18:05Speaker 1: he was blindsided. The way you feel is the way
- 18:07Speaker 1: you feel.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think he would need to do some
- 18:10Speaker 2: serious work to work on himself and show that he
- 18:14Speaker 2: is making those active decisions to work on himself for
- 18:19Speaker 2: you to rekindle.
- 18:22Speaker 1: She wants to like the confusion about whether or not
- 18:26Speaker 1: it was the right decision. It sounds like it's more
- 18:29Speaker 1: about being there for him as like a karra and
- 18:33Speaker 1: an anchor and not abandoning him, rather than I think
- 18:37Speaker 1: I got overwhelmed. I'm still so in love with him
- 18:39Speaker 1: and I want to be with him and I know
- 18:41Speaker 1: we can work through it together. I didn't get that vibe,
- 18:44Speaker 1: did you.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I guess because she has this sense of guilt and
- 18:48Speaker 2: they had been through a lot together. I was just saying,
- 18:50Speaker 2: if she does still have love for him, and she
- 18:54Speaker 2: was questioning that like those feelings as well, like they
- 18:58Speaker 2: would have to show that they're at work and as
- 19:03Speaker 2: much as you can be there for somebody, and of
- 19:05Speaker 2: course when you're going through hard times, it's really important
- 19:08Speaker 2: to lean on the people around you for support.
- 19:10Speaker 1: At the end of the day, you have to do
- 19:12Speaker 1: the work. And she can also still have love for him,
- 19:16Speaker 1: but she's just not in love with him, like she's
- 19:18Speaker 1: she doesn't want to be in the relationship anymore. You
- 19:21Speaker 1: can absolutely still have love for someone, but it's just
- 19:24Speaker 1: no longer the right fit. Yeah, exactly.
- 19:27Speaker 2: So I think it's so normal to feel that guilt
- 19:31Speaker 2: and have those questions and wonder have I done the
- 19:33Speaker 2: right thing? But you said you chose yourself, probably for
- 19:38Speaker 2: the first time, and I think that is the right
- 19:40Speaker 2: thing to do at the end of the day. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 2: you can't be living your life for someone else. Yeah,
- 19:46Speaker 2: as probably tough love as that is. Yeah, totally, you
- 19:50Speaker 2: did good job. Kick Yeah, forehead, kiss for you.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Okay, next one, this is funny hajigs so excited to
- 19:59Speaker 1: be a so at the live show My Wild Dilemma
- 20:04Speaker 1: or My Diabolical Story. I moved to Melbourne recently single
- 20:08Speaker 1: and met a bunch of friends via bumble Bff. Side note,
- 20:12Speaker 1: get onto bumble Bff Best thing ever? I am a
- 20:15Speaker 1: friend's app fan. This episode is sponsored, but I'm kidding this.
- 20:21Speaker 1: One friend and I were quite the drinkers and we
- 20:23Speaker 1: went out one night to a bar in Melbourne, drinking it.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Up, smoking cigars and living my best, reckless single yolo life.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I love that. We started chatting with an Italian guy
- 20:35Speaker 1: who spoke broken English and he introduced us to his
- 20:38Speaker 1: friend or brother I don't remember whoopsie. We hit it
- 20:42Speaker 1: off and they joined us for our night of fun.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I had started to get quite flirty with the Italian
- 20:48Speaker 1: man and his friend. Oh my god, where's this scar?
- 20:55Speaker 1: I had a diabolical dilemma, which one It's a good
- 21:00Speaker 1: problem to have. I met my friend at the bar
- 21:03Speaker 1: and discuss which one should I go home with. Our
- 21:07Speaker 1: Italian friends joined us at the bar mid comfo, and
- 21:10Speaker 1: I drunkenly confessed I was unsure on which one to
- 21:14Speaker 1: go home with because I liked them both.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Oh my god, I got asked why not both dead gagged,
- 21:25Speaker 3: and I was like, wait, yolo. I went home with
- 21:29Speaker 3: both of them, sorry to the uber driver, who would
- 21:32Speaker 3: have been very.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Confused watching me kiss both of them, and we.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Had an absolutely insane Italian trio extravaganza. I think I
- 21:41Speaker 4: slept for about forty minutes before I had to uber home,
- 21:44Speaker 4: shower and leave.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Straight for work. Oh my god. Ironically, I was told
- 21:50Speaker 1: I was on my best game at work the next day.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Maybe that's the secret key no regrets. I am a
- 21:57Speaker 1: settled down granny now, but I have that saucy story
- 22:00Speaker 1: in my back pocket, a reminder of the hot bitch
- 22:03Speaker 1: I once was. Love you girls.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Oh my god, Brava, there is a standing ovation in
- 22:11Speaker 2: my sulvye right now.

- 22:17Speaker 1: the same damp time. What a good story, What a
- 22:20Speaker 1: great fucking story. You're still a hot bitch, she said,
- 22:24Speaker 1: was present tense. Please, I love that. What a good story.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's amazing. We need can Oh she
- 22:31Speaker 1: wouldn't have any photos. I want to know what they
- 22:33Speaker 1: look like. I know I'm really picturing the guy from
- 22:37Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days being like you lost
- 22:40Speaker 1: baby girl, get it. I love that I slept for
- 22:43Speaker 1: forty minutes. I'm imagining her as well, like walking into work,
- 22:47Speaker 1: like whistling, Like she has a beautiful glow and she's
- 22:51Speaker 1: like hi everyone, and they're like, Meanwhile, the night before
- 22:55Speaker 1: she was getting dicked the fuck down. Oh my god.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I love that. I love that. That's amazing. You can
- 23:05Speaker 1: send us any further details on what they like look
- 23:08Speaker 1: like like celebrity look alike. I'm sure you don't have
- 23:10Speaker 1: any photos because that would kind of be weird, but yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 1: like maybe they took a selfie together, yeah, post imagining,
- 23:18Speaker 1: like I'm imagining like a drunken snapchat like on the night.
