- 0:00Speaker 1: Seven trs.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Mark Simone show continues.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Now, well, hey, welcome to our number two. We got
- 0:14Speaker 1: a lot to get to this hour. So, hey, this
- 0:17Speaker 1: just breaking. You know, this redistricting is taking place in
- 0:22Speaker 1: state after state where they redraw the congressional districts to
- 0:25Speaker 1: get rid of Republican districts or it's all terrible stuff.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's just totally unethical. You know, the congressional districts. If
- 0:35Speaker 1: an area is Republican, it's republican. But they'll redraw the
- 0:38Speaker 1: district in this weird snake pattern just to eliminate their
- 0:43Speaker 1: But so they've done it in state after state, but
- 0:45Speaker 1: in Louisiana they tried to do it and the Supreme
- 0:48Speaker 1: Court just shot it down, ruling it unconstitutional unethical. So
- 0:54Speaker 1: this is a big victory for the GOP, but it
- 0:56Speaker 1: could also set a precedent for all this crazy districting.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So it just happened. We'll keep an eye on that.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We're talking about the Devilwars Prada Part two. The sequel
- 1:08Speaker 1: is this Friday. Roger Friedman on Last Hour reporting it's
- 1:12Speaker 1: not that good. You're going to see a huge publicity
- 1:15Speaker 1: blitz all this week for the Devilwaar's product. Too, but
- 1:19Speaker 1: apparently they've really toned it down. So and he reports
- 1:25Speaker 1: it's not only not good, but there's no screenings. You know, normally,
- 1:28Speaker 1: all the critics, all the people in the media, we
- 1:31Speaker 1: all get invited to private screenings all day and night.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Anytime you want to see it, you go to a
- 1:36Speaker 1: private screening. There's the big premiere, there's all that stuff.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And apparently they've canceled all the screenings. Now, that's usually
- 1:43Speaker 1: because a movie stinks and it's going to get bad reviews,
- 1:46Speaker 1: so they won't let anybody see it before it opens
- 1:48Speaker 1: because they know where it will get out. It's thanks,
- 1:50Speaker 1: So apparently it's not great. As I mentioned before, I
- 1:53Speaker 1: never saw the Devilwaar's product. I just never saw it.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So I went back and I watched it over the
- 1:59Speaker 1: week just to see in the Meryl Streep character. Now,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I guess to most people, this is a horrible woman.
- 2:07Speaker 1: They can't believe the way she talks to people. They
- 2:08Speaker 1: can't believe who she treats people. They can't believe the
- 2:12Speaker 1: way she'd be had for us in the media. Me
- 2:15Speaker 1: Roger said the same thing. We've worked for a million
- 2:17Speaker 1: people like that. We've worked for people ten times worse
- 2:20Speaker 1: than that. So that's the way a lot of people
- 2:24Speaker 1: are in the media world. That's the way a lot
- 2:27Speaker 1: of agents are. That's the way a lot of TV
- 2:29Speaker 1: executives are, Radio executives are, some not so much. But
- 2:33Speaker 1: in the television broadcasting around of entertainment. Yeah, there's plenty
- 2:37Speaker 1: of people worse than her, much worse. Now, look at
- 2:40Speaker 1: the correspondence dinner. We just heard the story on the news,
- 2:46Speaker 1: the shooting. The four shots are fired, all hell breaks loose,
- 2:49Speaker 1: the Secret Service in the room, those guys in combat
- 2:52Speaker 1: gear with big long rifles pointing the crowd. People are fleeing,
- 2:55Speaker 1: hiding under tables. And there was this video of this
- 2:58Speaker 1: guy who didn't flinch. He kept eating his salad. He
- 3:02Speaker 1: didn't get under the table, he didn't even stop eating.
- 3:04Speaker 1: In fact, everybody left, he's eating their stuff. So they
- 3:08Speaker 1: finally figured out who the guy is, and sure enough,
- 3:11Speaker 1: just like I was just telling you, he's an agent.
- 3:14Speaker 1: He's a big Hollywood agent. And he said, eh, I'm
- 3:18Speaker 1: used to I'm used to sirens, I'm used to police
- 3:22Speaker 1: stuff didn't bother me. I was hungry, I wanted to
- 3:24Speaker 1: finish eating. I'm not getting under a table. But that's
- 3:27Speaker 1: you see that in the media with a lot of
- 3:29Speaker 1: very tough, cold people. Then there's that other famous video.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I don't think they've identified her yet, the woman who
- 3:35Speaker 1: in the middle of all this is running around stealing
- 3:38Speaker 1: the champagne bottles off the table, sticking them in her purse.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What else? Oh, speaking of which, the shooter, Cole Allen,
- 3:47Speaker 1: apparently was taking smiling selfies of himself before the shooting.
- 3:51Speaker 1: He was up in his hotel room. He was on
- 3:54Speaker 1: the tenth floor taking selfies of himself smiling everybody, I
- 3:58Speaker 1: don't care what you do. He taking selfies for Instagram
- 4:03Speaker 1: or something. And apparently he walked down the stairs. He
- 4:06Speaker 1: didn't get in the elevator to come down to the
- 4:09Speaker 1: where the ballroom is or where the lobby is. He
- 4:12Speaker 1: walked down with the guns and everything came down ten
- 4:15Speaker 1: flights of stairs. Now, I would imagine that he's figuring
- 4:18Speaker 1: the surveillance cameras in the elevators they'd see the guns.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Although he was wearing a long coat over the guns
- 4:28Speaker 1: and came down the ten flights. It's just you're going
- 4:30Speaker 1: to be less detected in a back stairwell than an elevator,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and not likely to run into anybody in the stairwell.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So he came down wearing a long trench coat with
- 4:38Speaker 1: the guns underneath, the rifle underneath, and then he found
- 4:42Speaker 1: a little room just off the lobby, just a little alcove,
- 4:47Speaker 1: a little room where there it was used to store
- 4:50Speaker 1: bar carts and things like that, and it was not
- 4:54Speaker 1: guarded by the Secret Service. As much as they were
- 4:56Speaker 1: all over the lobby, they didn't guard certain areas. There
- 4:59Speaker 1: were a couple of holding rooms they weren't guarding, and
- 5:01Speaker 1: there was this little room where they stored the bar cards.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So he went in there to take off his trench
- 5:07Speaker 1: coat and bring out the guns. Now, as far as
- 5:10Speaker 1: mistakes the Secret Service made, well, there's different types of
- 5:14Speaker 1: Secret Service. There's the uniform Secret Service. You know, there's
- 5:18Speaker 1: about seven thousand people in the Secret Service. But there's
- 5:21Speaker 1: the uniform guys. That's like the lower tier. Those are
- 5:26Speaker 1: the ones you see in uniform all over the lobby.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Then there's the guys in the suits and ties with
- 5:30Speaker 1: the earphones. That's the PPD, the Presidential Protection Division. Those
- 5:38Speaker 1: are much higher level guys. Those are the ones all
- 5:41Speaker 1: around the president. And then there's the CAT, the Counter
- 5:44Speaker 1: Assault Team, those are the guys in the combat gear,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the helmets, the big long rifles. So the outside the perimeter,
- 5:53Speaker 1: that was the uniform guys. And when they look back
- 5:55Speaker 1: at mistakes, there were a bunch they were not Again,
- 5:59Speaker 1: they didn't check all the they weren't guarding all these
- 6:01Speaker 1: little rooms alcohols. The other thing is it looked like
- 6:06Speaker 1: about nine o'clock they were getting lazy. They were dismantling
- 6:09Speaker 1: the metal detectors. The fare is just beginning. Why would
- 6:13Speaker 1: you shut this stuff down? Start taking down the equipment,
- 6:16Speaker 1: And you could see they were all not paying attention.
- 6:19Speaker 1: They were all gossiping, talking on the side there. And
- 6:22Speaker 1: then the other thing they're looking at is as you
- 6:25Speaker 1: came down the long corridor to get to this checkpoint,
- 6:30Speaker 1: it was a straight line all the way. You're not
- 6:32Speaker 1: supposed to do that. You're supposed to make it a zigzag,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Like if you're coming to a military base, the road
- 6:39Speaker 1: that goes right to the front of the military base
- 6:41Speaker 1: is always zigzagged. That way. You can't get up any
- 6:44Speaker 1: speed because you have to keep turning. Same thing with
- 6:48Speaker 1: coming down this corridor to get to the checkpoint, to
- 6:52Speaker 1: get into the ballroom. It should have been set up
- 6:54Speaker 1: with fences, so you have to turn this way and
- 6:56Speaker 1: then this way and that way. When you have to zigzag,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you can't run and get up all that speed that
- 7:00Speaker 1: the guy got up. So that's the other mistake. They'll
- 7:03Speaker 1: keep looking at this and they'll make more corrections to
- 7:07Speaker 1: all of this stuff. Hey, Obama getting a lot of flack.
- 7:11Speaker 1: President Obama, who's been kind of under the radar for
- 7:16Speaker 1: a while, and when he first left he had his book,
- 7:19Speaker 1: his Netflix thing, and then all that kind of dried up.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Of course, it's been a it's been five years, you know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: more than that, it's been Trump Biden's been nine years,
- 7:29Speaker 1: ten years. So it goes away after a while. He's
- 7:32Speaker 1: trying to come back, trying to get visible again, trying
- 7:35Speaker 1: to get relevant again. So you know, he's he's starting
- 7:40Speaker 1: a production company. He's trying to get a lot of
- 7:41Speaker 1: attention for himself. So right after the shooting, the White
- 7:44Speaker 1: House correspondents to him. He puts out this ridiculous tweet saying,
- 7:49Speaker 1: we don't know the motive yet for the shooting. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 1: of course he knew the motive for the shooting. The
- 7:55Speaker 1: shooter wrote out his motive in great detail and published
- 7:59Speaker 1: a man of Festo. He wrote it out in detail
- 8:03Speaker 1: here it is, here's my motive. So for Obama to
- 8:06Speaker 1: write that stupid tweet, well, we don't know the motive
- 8:09Speaker 1: of the shooter. And a lot of people are pointing
- 8:12Speaker 1: out that was a big mistake on his part because
- 8:15Speaker 1: it reminded people. It's reminding people of the stuff they
- 8:19Speaker 1: didn't like about him. You know, he looks great, he's
- 8:22Speaker 1: a good talker, he's in a beautiful suit, he looks,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you know, very impressive up there. But outside of that,
- 8:30Speaker 1: he's a hell of a liar. He never gets done
- 8:33Speaker 1: anything like he claims he's going to do. He does
- 8:35Speaker 1: just the opposite. You know, he was supposed to be
- 8:37Speaker 1: the unit or the healer. He did more to divide
- 8:39Speaker 1: the country racially, class warfare. I mean so, and you
- 8:46Speaker 1: think he looks like this noble sort of a guy,
- 8:47Speaker 1: but he's the biggest liar. And when he put out
- 8:50Speaker 1: that tweet, it just reminded people how blatantly he can
- 8:52Speaker 1: lie at times. Hey, let's get that, Jimmy Kimmel. So
- 8:57Speaker 1: you might have seen that the FCC is looking at
- 9:01Speaker 1: ABC talking about looking at their licenses. Now, this was
- 9:05Speaker 1: apparently something that was going on for a while about
- 9:08Speaker 1: diversity hiring at ABC. I can't imagine ABC not having
- 9:12Speaker 1: a lot of diversity hiring, but apparently they were looking
- 9:16Speaker 1: at that. Now they may have ramped it up because
- 9:18Speaker 1: of the Kimmel thing. From what we hear inside sources
- 9:24Speaker 1: at ABC. This is not confirmed, but inside sources say
- 9:27Speaker 1: they plan to absolutely stand by Kimmel. He doesn't have
- 9:31Speaker 1: much left on his contract, so firing him may cause
- 9:36Speaker 1: more uproar than they want. But I say it's back
- 9:39Speaker 1: to usual. They're moving on. Well, we'll see. Kimmel is
- 9:43Speaker 1: doubling down on the whole thing. You know, they made
- 9:45Speaker 1: the joke about Milania looks like an expectant widow. In
- 9:50Speaker 1: other words, your husban's gonna die at any moment. Now,
- 9:52Speaker 1: he claimed when he did it, we claim the next day.
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's a roast joke. It's done it all the time.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's just a standard roast joke. It has nothing to
- 10:03Speaker 1: do with being assassination. It just means you're old and
- 10:06Speaker 1: your your your wife is younger, she's going to be
- 10:09Speaker 1: a widow. Well, yeah, it was done with a lot
- 10:11Speaker 1: of roast, but it was usually a much older looking guy.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It was always they used to do it about abe
- 10:16Speaker 1: Vigoda all the time. Remember Abeagoda. They were every great friars.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Rus would bring Abevagoda on to the day. It's not
- 10:22Speaker 1: because he was so exciting. They just needed him because
- 10:25Speaker 1: everybody wanted to do jokes. They'd say, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:27Speaker 1: Abe Pagoda and his widow, and everybody would laugh. It
- 10:31Speaker 1: doesn't work with Trump though. It's not because he doesn't
- 10:34Speaker 1: look like he's about to go anywhere. And uh, well,
- 10:37Speaker 1: here's Kimmel last night. Now. Now, apparently when Trump President
- 10:42Speaker 1: Trump was speaking at the ceremony with the King, he
- 10:46Speaker 1: talked about how long the queen was married, and he
- 10:51Speaker 1: made a joke about sixty three years. Well, I'll never
- 10:54Speaker 1: be able to be married that long to Milanea, in
- 10:56Speaker 1: other words, we're too old. But she's fifty seven, so
- 10:59Speaker 1: obviously she's really not going to live another sixty three years.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So it's not about his age, it's just in general.
- 11:05Speaker 1: But so Kimmel used that. He said, look, this he's
- 11:08Speaker 1: making a joke about his age. Why can't I do it?
- 11:11Speaker 3: They were married for sixty three years, and excuse me
- 11:17Speaker 3: if you don't mind, that's a record.
- 11:19Speaker 1: We won't be.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Able to match Darling, So just not going to work
- 11:23Speaker 2: out that way.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Wait a minute, did he just make a joke about
- 11:29Speaker 1: his death? Not really, he made a joke that he
- 11:36Speaker 1: doesn't have sixty three years to go. He didn't make
- 11:38Speaker 1: a joke about he'll be dying pretty soon. It's different,
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's really different. Kimmel's joke was you look like an
- 11:45Speaker 1: expectant widow. Noother was expecting him to die at any moment,
- 11:48Speaker 1: which nobody was, so Kimmel's standing by that joke.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Only Donald Trump would demand I'd be fired for making
- 11:55Speaker 2: a joke about his old age, and then a day
- 11:58Speaker 2: later go out and make a joke about.
- 11:59Speaker 1: His But you know, when Kimmel made that joke about
- 12:04Speaker 1: you look like an expectant widow, it was a joke
- 12:07Speaker 1: about a guy who had just gotten through three assassination attempts,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and the next day the fourth assassination attempt came. You had, Butler,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you had the guy on the golf course trying it
- 12:18Speaker 1: with the rifle, trying to shoot him. And I'm also
- 12:21Speaker 1: counting the guy, remember the guy that charged the gate
- 12:23Speaker 1: at mar A Lago that had a bomb on him.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So that's three assassination attempts, the fourth one this weekend.
- 12:29Speaker 1: So now, I mean, the only good thing about this
- 12:35Speaker 1: Kimmel situation, he's not going to be around much longer.
- 12:38Speaker 1: He's going off the air. They wouldn't give him a
- 12:41Speaker 1: new contract. Instead, they gave him an extension, which means
- 12:45Speaker 1: we don't really want to sign it in a new contract. Hey,
- 12:48Speaker 1: there was a great moment yesterday involving nine to eleven
- 12:52Speaker 1: at one Police Plaza. They've created a beautiful memorial to
- 12:56Speaker 1: the cops and men and women that lost their lives
- 12:59Speaker 1: on nine to eleven. It's a beautiful memorial. It had
- 13:02Speaker 1: to be funded privately, and Mayor Mam Donnie came for
- 13:07Speaker 1: the ceremony. Well, the guy he's been targeting, torturing, trying
- 13:11Speaker 1: to demonize Ken Griffin, the billionaire. Remember he did the
- 13:16Speaker 1: video outside Ken Griffin's house trying to ridicule him. Well,
- 13:20Speaker 1: Ken Griffin in real life pays a hell of a
- 13:22Speaker 1: lot of taxes. He's maybe the biggest taxpayer in New York.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And on top of that, he doesn't even live here.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He lives in Florida. He doesn't even live here, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: here in New York. He gave seven hundred million to charities.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's pretty generous in a place that you don't even live.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It's not his home state. He lived in Chicago most
- 13:42Speaker 1: and then he moved to Florida, not in New Yorker.
- 13:45Speaker 1: He still gave seven hundred million to New York charities,
- 13:49Speaker 1: and one of the things he heavily donated to was
- 13:51Speaker 1: that beautiful memorial. So when the mayor was doing the ceremony,
- 13:56Speaker 1: he had to actually thank Ken Griffin.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I also want to thank Ken Griffin funding a memorial
- 14:00Speaker 3: wall which will open later this year.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so he had to acknowledge Ken Griffin, one of
- 14:07Speaker 1: the most generous guys in the world. That memorial is
- 14:10Speaker 1: actually done by the New York City Police Foundation, which
- 14:14Speaker 1: is one of the great charities in New York. You
- 14:18Speaker 1: want to give to a great charity, Police Athletic League,
- 14:21Speaker 1: one of the very best children's charities, and another great
- 14:24Speaker 1: one is the New York City Police Foundation. Susan Bernbaum
- 14:28Speaker 1: runs that. But they do so much great work and
- 14:30Speaker 1: they raise money to help the cops with whatever they
- 14:33Speaker 1: need and take care of them, and then they do
- 14:36Speaker 1: things like this memorial. So it's a great, great charity. Hey,
- 14:41Speaker 1: this is pretty good news. You know, we got the
- 14:43Speaker 1: straits of Hormose closed and President Trump signing an extension
- 14:48Speaker 1: of the blockade, because as long as it's closed, Iran
- 14:50Speaker 1: is broke. They have no economy. Their whole economy runs
- 14:54Speaker 1: through the straight of horm Moose, So as long as
- 14:56Speaker 1: it's shut their economy is shut down. So that's good. Now.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It could cause us a little increase in oil, but
- 15:04Speaker 1: we'll get through that now. The other interesting development is
- 15:07Speaker 1: the United Arab Emirates has announced they're going to leave OPEK.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So besides getting rid of the awful terrorist government Iran,
- 15:15Speaker 1: we may be breaking up OPAK, which is good. Opek
- 15:18Speaker 1: is a cartel that would deliberately drive up the price
- 15:22Speaker 1: of oil and play games with oil prices. So this
- 15:25Speaker 1: is the first break in OPEC. United Arab Emirates is leaving.
- 15:29Speaker 1: They don't want to be a part of this cartel.
- 15:32Speaker 1: They produce about five million barrels a day, that's big,
- 15:36Speaker 1: so they said they don't want to be collaborating, unrestricting
- 15:39Speaker 1: supply and deliberately driving prices up, and they were attacked
- 15:43Speaker 1: by Iran and all this. They just don't want to
- 15:45Speaker 1: be a part anymore. So if we can break up Opak.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That'd be another another great result from what we're doing
- 15:51Speaker 1: in Iran. Hey, we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 15:54Speaker 1: three to two one zero seven ten is the number. Well,
- 15:58Speaker 1: by the way, the ballroom, you know, after the shooting,
- 16:01Speaker 1: everybody's like, you got to have the ballroom now. And
- 16:03Speaker 1: as much as they're trying to block it, you know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: left wing lawsuits, with these left wing judges blocking the ballroom,
- 16:10Speaker 1: Congress now taken action. Look, they're going to pass the
- 16:12Speaker 1: legislation to make the ballroom happen, so it'll be official
- 16:17Speaker 1: government legislation. Ballroom Now. They passed something yesterday about the funding,
- 16:24Speaker 1: and a lot of people misunderstood this. Now they're screaming,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be taxpayer funded. Why
- 16:29Speaker 1: did Congress allocate four hundred million If it's taxpayer funded,
- 16:32Speaker 1: why is Congress did not allocate four hundred million of
- 16:37Speaker 1: government money. It's very confusing. But what they passed was
- 16:42Speaker 1: the problem is if the private donations come in, there's
- 16:45Speaker 1: technically legally no way to get it to the government fund.
- 16:49Speaker 1: So they just simply created an avenue to have that
- 16:52Speaker 1: money go into the government fund and get to the ballroom.
- 16:55Speaker 1: That's all that was, but it looks like it will
- 16:57Speaker 1: happen anyway. We'll take some calls next eight hundre three
- 17:00Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten, eight hundred three two
- 17:05Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. So Mark Simone show on SEVENR.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Vince in Fort Pierce, Florida. Vince,
- 17:17Speaker 1: how you doing, Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 17:20Speaker 3: You know there's more to the Comy case, and I
- 17:22Speaker 3: hope there is other cases coming, but this one.
- 17:24Speaker 5: You know, the FBI has the technology to look at
- 17:26Speaker 5: that photo and determine if that sand is from Maryland
- 17:29Speaker 5: or Virginia, where they can look at those shelves and
- 17:31Speaker 5: determine if they're from the Pacific. They probably subpoened his phone,
- 17:36Speaker 5: and they can determine where and when that picture was made.
- 17:39Speaker 5: They might have witnesses, but what they might be setting
- 17:41Speaker 5: him up for, which nobody knows better than Comy, is
- 17:44Speaker 5: a nice perjury trap, and I hope that would be
- 17:47Speaker 5: one of the first charges they get him on because
- 17:49Speaker 5: he did that to General Flynn.
- 17:51Speaker 1: He did that.
- 17:52Speaker 3: You mentioned Roger Stone, who they arrested because he supposedly
- 17:57Speaker 3: threatened his neighbor's dog and his neighbor even said it
- 18:00Speaker 3: was a joke, So nothing is out of balance with
- 18:03Speaker 3: called me.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, no, he deserves this, even if it is a
- 18:05Speaker 1: flimsy charge. But yeah, there's stuff they can do. His
- 18:08Speaker 1: story that he tells he was walking along the beach
- 18:11Speaker 1: and he saw the seashells. Nobody quite buys that story.
- 18:15Speaker 1: So maybe he laid out the shells himself, or maybe
- 18:18Speaker 1: it was a picture he got from somebody else. But
- 18:20Speaker 1: from what I hear, there's more charges coming. This silly
- 18:23Speaker 1: little thing isn't the whole thing. Apparently there's more coming.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Let's go to Skeeter in Long Island. When's last time
- 18:30Speaker 1: you met anybody named Skeeter? Skeeter?
- 18:33Speaker 4: How are you doing the last time I spoke to you?
- 18:36Speaker 6: Oh, good morning, Marks.
- 18:37Speaker 4: You always have a great show.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Peter Davis. You see the great singer Skeeter Davis. Certainly
- 18:44Speaker 1: was the end of the world. That was her big
- 18:45Speaker 1: hit I could see. But go ahead.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I asked you a couple of weeks back,
- 18:54Speaker 4: what's happening with this investigation near the answer man? And
- 18:57Speaker 4: sure enough they got called me coming up and I
- 18:59Speaker 4: hope next. But that's not why I called. I called
- 19:02Speaker 4: when you said that the secret agents. They were breaking
- 19:05Speaker 4: down the equipment. They were relaxed. But Mark, when they
- 19:09Speaker 4: turned and pulled their pistols and fired twenty one shots,
- 19:12Speaker 4: nobody even hit them.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Well, they don't know anything yet because they haven't released
- 19:18Speaker 1: all this information. Apparently they did fire and missed. We
- 19:22Speaker 1: don't know who shot the Secret Service agent. They won't
- 19:24Speaker 1: reveal that. They keep saying they're checking to sea. Was
- 19:28Speaker 1: it one of them that hit the Secret Service station
- 19:30Speaker 1: or the assassin? They they haven't revealed that yet. Now
- 19:33Speaker 1: you think you could find that out in one second.
- 19:35Speaker 1: You simply take the bullet out of the bulletproof vest
- 19:38Speaker 1: and identify the bullet. But we'll wait and see what
- 19:40Speaker 1: they come up with. Let's go to Jeff and Ice. Slip. Jeff,
- 19:44Speaker 1: how you doing great?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Mark?
- 19:47Speaker 2: There was a congressman who was ranting against Lee Zelden
- 19:51Speaker 2: during a hearing, same as Robert Menendez, the son of
- 19:54Speaker 2: the corrupt guy in prison.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Do you know anything about him?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Robert Menendez? What more do you need?
- 20:03Speaker 6: Okay?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Uh? Hey? Lee's Eldon was pretty good on the on
- 20:07Speaker 1: the witness stand. He's a he's an attorney. You know,
- 20:09Speaker 1: he's been an attorney, so he's pretty good at that
- 20:12Speaker 1: cross examination stuff. Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 20:15Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 20:18Speaker 7: You were talking about the Secret Service. I was listening
- 20:20Speaker 7: to Dan Bongino, Jonathan gilliam and the former chief of
- 20:24Speaker 7: the Secret Service, and he was saying that when the
- 20:27Speaker 7: Secret Service was taken away from the Treasury Department and
- 20:30Speaker 7: put on the DHS, everything changed. The Secret Service is
- 20:33Speaker 7: now both DEI and WOKE, and the people that are
- 20:36Speaker 7: currently working there are not fully trained fire, both physically
- 20:41Speaker 7: and with their abilities.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, you can see that. You saw that in Butler.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Remember those three little female cops. Remember the one who
- 20:50Speaker 1: couldn't holster her weapons. She's jumped and the other two
- 20:52Speaker 1: are jumping up and down in panic. You're not supposed
- 20:54Speaker 1: to show panic at those in those moments. It's a
- 20:57Speaker 1: problem everywhere, even New York City Police Department. You're four
- 21:00Speaker 1: to hire people who are you know, too short, too slow,
- 21:04Speaker 1: too fat to this. You know, they don't look like
- 21:07Speaker 1: Danny Reagan when they're out there on the field. Let's
- 21:09Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Doing, Good morning, Mark, Good morning. Apparently Obama doesn't have
- 21:17Speaker 6: enough money. He started a new Grift company to make films. Mark,
- 21:22Speaker 6: you noticed they're not releasing the footage of when the
- 21:27Speaker 6: would be assassin ran down the Corrida and all the
- 21:30Speaker 6: Secret Service agents ran after him. They're not showing that.
- 21:33Speaker 6: They're not releasing that footage. Mark yesterday the guy who
- 21:40Speaker 6: was wrongfully arrested in the liquor store and beating up
- 21:44Speaker 6: all over here and oh.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I forgot about that. Yeah, that's a big story. That
- 21:48Speaker 1: guy's going to get fifty million bucks from the city.
- 21:51Speaker 6: He's suing the city for one hundred million. He'll get fifty,
- 21:55Speaker 6: get a car walk away with.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Fifty, he'll get fifty minimum twenty five.
- 22:00Speaker 6: And also what came out somebody else had some footage
- 22:03Speaker 6: of that showed the guy was already cuffed and they
- 22:07Speaker 6: laid a couple of more blows on the guy. That's
- 22:11Speaker 6: the icing on the cake. Mark. Just having been in
- 22:15Speaker 6: those situations many times in my life where they're here
- 22:19Speaker 6: in the city, on planes, on buses, on trains, especially
- 22:24Speaker 6: when I'm in Italy, I think those cops they could
- 22:29Speaker 6: avoided a lot of trouble. First off, white in they
- 22:33Speaker 6: just have wait outside, have two cops on the right
- 22:37Speaker 6: side of the door, two cops on the left side
- 22:40Speaker 6: of the door, a couple of unmarked cars in the street,
- 22:43Speaker 6: and when the guy walked out, they would have said
- 22:46Speaker 6: commit bub blah bah, put the cuffs on him, because
- 22:49Speaker 6: had that guy really been a criminal and pulled out
- 22:52Speaker 6: a gun and there was a shootout in this door
- 22:54Speaker 6: a lot of people.
- 22:57Speaker 1: What he got hurt?
- 23:00Speaker 6: You know?
- 23:00Speaker 1: The problem is the guy that looked exactly like the
- 23:03Speaker 1: description they were looking for, and this is an incredible coincidence.
- 23:06Speaker 1: He was wearing exactly the same green shorts that the suspect.
- 23:10Speaker 1: He was wearing the same thing, looked the same. But
- 23:13Speaker 1: it's going to be a hell of a lossuit. They'll
- 23:15Speaker 1: settle out of court. He's if you saw him on camera,
- 23:18Speaker 1: he's a pretty good talker. They don't want to get
- 23:20Speaker 1: that guy in the stand. He's compelling figures, so they'll
- 23:23Speaker 1: settle with him. Hey, when we come back and Culter
- 23:26Speaker 1: will be with us next on seven to ten w
- 23:29Speaker 1: R Yeah more Mark Simone on sevent ten. Wo Hey
- 23:37Speaker 1: and Culter the best selling author dozens of big best
- 23:41Speaker 1: sellers you should be reading, and also the great columnist
- 23:44Speaker 1: and of course follow her on Twitter. Excellent tweets and
- 23:47Speaker 1: even better Substack where she's got interviews and podcasts and columns.
- 23:51Speaker 1: It's gonna and culture dot substack dot com and culter
- 23:56Speaker 1: dot substack dot com and Culter.
- 23:59Speaker 4: How you doing fantastic?
- 24:01Speaker 2: How are you, Mark Simon?
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm good. Have you been watching these Democrats for two days?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Fawning all over King Charles standing ovations cheering? What happened
- 24:11Speaker 1: to the no Kings?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Actualent point, Mark Simone?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Now they love a king.
- 24:23Speaker 2: It's much like how once he's gone, suddenly they love Reagan.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Oh he's so much better than Bush. And once Bush
- 24:31Speaker 2: has gone, Oh if only we can go back to
- 24:33Speaker 2: the days of Bush. What an honorable man, although I
- 24:36Speaker 2: must say I don't ever doing that with Trump. He's
- 24:40Speaker 2: in a class by himself, and for that I salute him.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, the only way that works you have to
- 24:45Speaker 1: get somebody worse, you know, somebody even more. He better,
- 24:50Speaker 1: He's gotta be worse than well. From their perspectives, listen,
- 24:54Speaker 1: lover hate Trump, you have to admit the greatest thing.
- 24:59Speaker 1: You know. They attacked Reagan like crazy attack Bush. They
- 25:01Speaker 1: attacked It's just to see a president who was not
- 25:04Speaker 1: a politician get in there and call him names. Tell
- 25:06Speaker 1: him off, make fun of them. You got to enjoy
- 25:08Speaker 1: that part of it.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I do.
- 25:10Speaker 2: And also I think his response was absolutely correct after
- 25:17Speaker 2: the White House Correspondence dinner. He was right, the show
- 25:21Speaker 2: should have gone on. The guy was pretty far away.
- 25:25Speaker 2: We're always saying, you know, don't let the terrorists win. Actually,
- 25:28Speaker 2: I mean it was dramatic. It's terrible. Of course all
- 25:32Speaker 2: the Democrats fall, but no one was ever in any
- 25:37Speaker 2: real danger. I didn't get close to the ballroom. They
- 25:40Speaker 2: should have let the show go on. And I'm glad
- 25:43Speaker 2: that he has not called for yet more security protocols
- 25:48Speaker 2: and TSA at the airport.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was grat Have you been to the
- 25:53Speaker 1: White House Corresponds dinner? Right?
- 25:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I used to go a lot when I
- 25:57Speaker 2: lived in Washington.
- 25:58Speaker 1: But you know, everybody went every You're thinking this is normal.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Now when you think about it, how could you do
- 26:03Speaker 1: that in an open hotel where there's a thousand strangers
- 26:06Speaker 1: staying upstairs. Well, you haven't checked their bags or anything.
- 26:09Speaker 1: It is kind of a silly thing that you.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Think, Oh my gosh, it's good. I hope they don't
- 26:13Speaker 2: change that. I mean, freak events happen of all of
- 26:17Speaker 2: the presidential assassination attempts. This one was the most three
- 26:22Speaker 2: stooges just I mean, obviously it was dramatic and everyone's
- 26:26Speaker 2: paying a lot of attention to it. But the guy
- 26:28Speaker 2: at the golf course had a better shot, way better shot.
- 26:31Speaker 2: But the Thomas whatever his name was, on the roof.
- 26:37Speaker 2: What we what we need is for Democrats to stop
- 26:41Speaker 2: calling Trump a fascist, a Nazi, a racist. That's what
- 26:47Speaker 2: we really need, and just as a general matter, to
- 26:50Speaker 2: lock up criminals and crazy people. But you can't stop
- 26:54Speaker 2: every crazy thing. And can you imagine from henceforth any
- 26:58Speaker 2: place where the president is expected, You know, over the
- 27:01Speaker 2: next week, we're going to have to have our bag research.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It's going to be TSA. No, it won't, it won't,
- 27:06Speaker 2: it won't. No, no, no.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Now, the guy takes the train all the way from Califuni.
- 27:10Speaker 1: You say, why would he take Now you start to read, well,
- 27:13Speaker 1: there's no TSA. They don't check bags to get in
- 27:15Speaker 1: a train. Now, every nut job is going to get
- 27:18Speaker 1: on a train if they're going to transport anything, So.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Oh please don't make them put TSA on trains. And
- 27:24Speaker 2: we're all going to drive and we're all going to die.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Driving because flying is safe for trains are safe for No. No,
- 27:31Speaker 2: you can't stop every bad thing from happening. Just nothing
- 27:36Speaker 2: bad happened.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so uh hey, uh, let me ask you about
- 27:41Speaker 1: we're talking about this earlier this week. The idea was
- 27:45Speaker 1: you open the borders, you bring in a million immigrants.
- 27:47Speaker 1: The Democrats think will get millions and millions and new
- 27:50Speaker 1: Democrats that'll help us. But it turns out, as you
- 27:53Speaker 1: always point out, they're third world Democrats. They don't like Republicans,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and they don't like these Democrats. They want like really
- 28:00Speaker 1: far left stuff. So in the end its screwed up
- 28:03Speaker 1: the Democratic.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Party, right, Yes, I mean it's more than how left
- 28:10Speaker 2: wing they are. They don't want any white Democrats, as
- 28:15Speaker 2: has been pointed out. I think it was the President
- 28:17Speaker 2: of Indonesia. I forget what his name was, but years
- 28:19Speaker 2: ago he said we were not bringing in we're blocking immigration.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Because when you have a multi ethnic society, people stop
- 28:27Speaker 2: voting on they're on issues on ideology, They vote their race.
- 28:33Speaker 2: And that is absolutely what you see in this country.
- 28:36Speaker 2: The only people who can vote to meetings and you know, oh,
- 28:40Speaker 2: what's the issue. What does this candidate say? Are white
- 28:43Speaker 2: voters and the vast majority of the other voters of
- 28:47Speaker 2: every ethnic group. They're voting with their ethnic group. You
- 28:50Speaker 2: see it in California most of all. I mean, it's
- 28:53Speaker 2: not like liberal Democrats or moderate Democrats certainly, no Republicans
- 28:59Speaker 2: at all. It's uh, you know, the Mexican Democrats, the
- 29:03Speaker 2: Asian Democrats, the Indian Democrats. Uh. And and look at
- 29:09Speaker 2: all these congressional districts. Why the whole biting Voting Rights
- 29:13Speaker 2: Act is premised on the idea that black people will
- 29:16Speaker 2: only vote for a black person. They want a black person.
- 29:19Speaker 2: That was a big thing after Hillary ran with white
- 29:23Speaker 2: Tim Kaine as her vice president. Remember the big movement,
- 29:27Speaker 2: this is the last time we vote for an all
- 29:28Speaker 2: white ticket.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah. So, but also you get like these Mamdani voters.
- 29:34Speaker 1: They're all immigrants who are far far, far left.
- 29:38Speaker 7: And yes that's true too.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Push is the old Chuck Schumer guys. They all have
- 29:42Speaker 1: to now pretend they're really far left. And they look
- 29:46Speaker 1: ridiculous trying to do that, don't they mm.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Hm, And it won't work. There's still light. This is
- 29:52Speaker 2: the end of the white Democrats. I mean, notice how
- 29:54Speaker 2: old they all are from you know, Pelosi dive Fi
- 29:59Speaker 2: Stenny Lawyer, Chuck Schumer. Their average age is dead and
- 30:04Speaker 2: that's the end of them. Biden. Yeah, that's why they
- 30:08Speaker 2: have to hold on. You'll notice that the average age
- 30:10Speaker 2: of Republicans is far, far younger. All you know, the
- 30:14Speaker 2: Marco Ruby and moves and Mike Lee's and so on
- 30:17Speaker 2: and so forth. Our average age, I bet you is
- 30:22Speaker 2: at least a decade. I haven't looked this up, but
- 30:26Speaker 2: below that of the Democrats. But I mean, I'm talking
- 30:29Speaker 2: about more senators because who knows who's in the House.
- 30:33Speaker 2: And that's because this is they have to desperately hold
- 30:36Speaker 2: on and keep pushing them up and doing the weekend
- 30:38Speaker 2: at Bernie thing. Otherwise it's it's AOC's and Mondamie's all
- 30:43Speaker 2: the way down. Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Uh, it's just I mean, it's just get crazier and crazier. Hey,
- 30:48Speaker 1: there's this idea somebody suggested to President Trump. The ICE
- 30:53Speaker 1: is Immigration Customs Enforcement. Changed the name to National Immigration
- 30:58Speaker 1: Customs Enforcement. That way it would be nice, not ice,
- 31:01Speaker 1: and put nice, put nice on all their uniforms on
- 31:05Speaker 1: their hat. It's a great idea of that. Yeah, he's
- 31:09Speaker 1: all for it. He's trying to get this done. It'll
- 31:11Speaker 1: be called nice from now on.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's fantastic. I love that. Well, I do wish they
- 31:19Speaker 2: would get I mean, the one thing I maybe Republicans
- 31:23Speaker 2: are just this is their negotiating strategy, pretending no, we
- 31:26Speaker 2: will accept none of your demands. They should definitely get
- 31:30Speaker 2: the body cameras. That has been the biggest boon for police.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I mean probably, I don't know, since since working patrol cars,
- 31:43Speaker 2: you used to have I write about this periodically, used
- 31:45Speaker 2: to have all these cases of especially black lady professors.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I've noticed there was a really big one at Prince
- 31:54Speaker 2: and it was really ugly, and they get stopt by
- 31:57Speaker 2: police officer. They take two Facebook or Instagram, Twitter and
- 32:01Speaker 2: starts talking about this this brutal racist cop and make
- 32:05Speaker 2: up you know, utterly fanciful stories and there's a huge investigation.
- 32:08Speaker 2: The cops are life is about to be destroyed. And
- 32:10Speaker 2: then haha, he was wearing a body camera and invariably
- 32:14Speaker 2: they were, you know, laughably polite. There major traffic violations.
- 32:19Speaker 2: This has saved cops over and over and over again.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Ice agents should welcome having body cameras.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah, many times, the poor victim. It turns out there
- 32:30Speaker 1: are some councilwoman who is screaming at the cops, threatening
- 32:34Speaker 1: the cop, calling them all kinds of names. Uh, it's yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: it's a very Everybody should wear body cams, you know,
- 32:39Speaker 1: everybody will be pretty soon. Apparently somewhere in the Apple
- 32:44Speaker 1: they're working on a body cam that everybody will wear.
- 32:48Speaker 1: It's a little like a little thing. It's like a
- 32:50Speaker 1: pin you'll put on your lapel. It will record everything
- 32:52Speaker 1: you do all day.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Oh I would love that.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Well, they think it'll be the next big thing. That way,
- 33:02Speaker 1: you won't have to stop and take a selfie. Whatever
- 33:04Speaker 1: you saw or did, it'll be in there. You can
- 33:07Speaker 1: just go later and look at it and take it
- 33:08Speaker 1: out of there.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm thinking about arguments with boyfriend.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Oh well, you you're going to need Yeah, you're definitely
- 33:18Speaker 1: gonna need that.
- 33:19Speaker 2: That would be fantastic. You have an excellent memory.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, everybody follow and culture on Twitter. Great stuff there,
- 33:28Speaker 1: and substack has become a great thing, right, a great
- 33:31Speaker 1: medium for.
- 33:32Speaker 2: As Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to mention, I'm
- 33:35Speaker 2: doing a live Rumble video this Thursday, five pm.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Rumble. Rumble is great. So what you just go to
- 33:42Speaker 1: Rumble Thursday at five pm.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll tweet it, I'll pin it on Twitter, and
- 33:48Speaker 2: I'll post it on subsack for details of how to
- 33:51Speaker 2: get there. But I'm interviewing the brilliant great John Tiranny
- 33:55Speaker 2: from the Vy Journal, Manhattan and soo. He's written just
- 33:58Speaker 2: one fantastic book after another. But one of his books,
- 34:01Speaker 2: in particular, The Power of Bad, I think has a
- 34:03Speaker 2: lot of relevance this week. Oh and then I'll stick
- 34:06Speaker 2: around and answer any questions people have.
- 34:10Speaker 1: All right, I'll ready check that out. If you forget,
- 34:11Speaker 1: just go to an culture on Twitter, Oran culture dot
- 34:15Speaker 1: substack dot com and Culture. Thanks for being with us.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Good to Dasu, Mark Simone.
- 34:21Speaker 1: By bye, I take care. Hey, don't forget coming up
- 34:25Speaker 1: at noon, Buck Sexton, Klay Travis. They do a great
- 34:28Speaker 1: show every day three o'clock. You got the most listened
- 34:30Speaker 1: to radio show in America. Sean Hannity got Jesse Kelly
- 34:34Speaker 1: every night at six, and Jimmy Fayala, he's so funny
- 34:37Speaker 1: and a great show every night at nine. And Curtis
- 34:39Speaker 1: Sliwa he's back. You can hear him. It's Curtis Sliwa
- 34:43Speaker 1: and LARRYMNTI every morning six to ten Here on seven
- 34:48Speaker 1: ten WR in Mark on Demand by setting up presead
- 34:53Speaker 1: for his podcast on the iHeartRadio Action.
- 34:56Speaker 6: Now back to Mark Simon now on WR.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Well, hey once again, I wouldn't drive around Manhattan today.
- 35:06Speaker 1: It's going to be a traffic mess because of the
- 35:08Speaker 1: King's visit. King Charles, as we speak, down at the
- 35:12Speaker 1: World Trade Center area at the nine to eleven Memorial
- 35:16Speaker 1: for a ceremony, so that it's not just the security
- 35:21Speaker 1: and all that, but apparently lots of people want to
- 35:25Speaker 1: see the King. They're not buying that no kings thing.
- 35:28Speaker 1: They like kings and they want to see the King.
- 35:30Speaker 1: So hundreds of thousands of people are expected to turn
- 35:33Speaker 1: out all over the place to see the King and
- 35:36Speaker 1: Queen consort. So World Trade Center area right now. Then
- 35:42Speaker 1: after that they split up. She's going to go to
- 35:44Speaker 1: the library, a New York Public Library for an event
- 35:48Speaker 1: that's around Bryant Park, and he's going to Harlem for
- 35:51Speaker 1: some green thing, so he'll be up there. It'll cause
