- 2:04Speaker 6: had two sneezes, and I honestly feel like it inflated byes,
- 2:08Speaker 6: like they were hard sneezes. Heart stop for at least
- 2:12Speaker 6: three seconds.

- 3:36Speaker 6: just like if I'm stretching it at I just wanted
- 3:38Speaker 6: to like prepare you. That's why I got a lot
- 3:40Speaker 6: of soreness in the arms today. Can all right, okay,
- 3:43Speaker 6: sorry man, all right, sorry.
- 3:45Speaker 7: Sorry guy, Hey, don't apologize for trying to get swollen.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Yeah. She did say try no, I mean, but.
- 3:56Speaker 5: That's all we can do. That's all you can do.
- 3:58Speaker 5: You can try, and then.
- 3:59Speaker 6: It's right, dust yourself off, try again. That's that the
- 4:03Speaker 6: body has got to take over at some point. I
- 4:05Speaker 6: believe it was a lead that said that, well, dust
- 4:08Speaker 6: yourself off, and.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I believe those her her words. All right, well,
- 4:14Speaker 4: good to know you're doing good.

- 4:24Speaker 6: just a simple good would have been great.
- 4:26Speaker 9: Well, It's it's funny because you say fantastic and then
- 4:28Speaker 9: you explain like that you're sore and he hadn't worked
- 4:31Speaker 9: out the way you're going to have and then.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Your eyes heart stopped doing fantastic well, like you could
- 4:38Speaker 5: be doing better. Tell my kids this all the time.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Who controls your happiness? You do?
- 4:43Speaker 4: You do?
- 4:44Speaker 6: You control your happy? Okay, don't let anybody still you're happy?
- 4:48Speaker 6: Fantastic aggressive sneeze I can't take.
- 4:52Speaker 8: I mean, sneezes are great.
- 4:54Speaker 6: A couple of puppic, couple of puffy eyes. Nope, ain't
- 4:56Speaker 6: gonna take my happy.
- 4:58Speaker 8: You're not not many things that old better than sneezing.
- 5:01Speaker 8: Cracking your back, Oh, I love cracking your back, cracking
- 5:04Speaker 8: the back.
- 5:04Speaker 4: In the old neck.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Get a couple of pops that had a good sneeze?
- 5:08Speaker 5: Was life altering?
- 5:12Speaker 8: Have your sneeze so hard your back cracks?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, Sammy Sosa wants sneeze so hardy ended up on.
- 5:18Speaker 5: The d L.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Where do y'all? Okay, when y'all sneeze in public around people?
- 5:23Speaker 6: What's your move?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Dab well? Elbow? Yeah, yeah, a little elbow act. I
- 5:27Speaker 4: actually try to hold it in because good luck, like.
- 5:34Speaker 8: With my mouth like open sometimes like it's it.
- 5:37Speaker 5: How do you do that I.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Don't know, But my grandpa used to tell me that
- 5:39Speaker 7: my intestines were going to explode.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Yeah for sure. Yeah you think that sneves I just
- 5:45Speaker 6: had before the show. You think I'm holding that in
- 5:48Speaker 6: something bad?
- 5:49Speaker 9: Your eyes pop out your head, that he looks like
- 5:54Speaker 9: he's gonna explode.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Yeah, Dad was a good one. Sneeze guys, But like,
- 5:58Speaker 5: I don't know if you get full coverage, I got
- 6:01Speaker 5: a little.
- 6:02Speaker 4: If you worked out more, you would know.
- 6:04Speaker 6: I'm saying, I don't know, Like my move changes, Like
- 6:09Speaker 6: this time I went like this, I went shirt.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Over the nose, and you like went all the way over.
- 6:17Speaker 5: All the way over.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Poncho is a good one too, kind of the unbuttoned
- 6:22Speaker 6: the top button, dab into the shirt. Okay, man, I
- 6:30Speaker 6: did it the other day. That's why it's fresh in
- 6:31Speaker 6: my mind. I was like behavior, it's important. It was
- 6:40Speaker 6: a big topic of a conversation during the COVID one night.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Remember that during the COVID, it was.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Like teaching you how to sneeze. So I was just curious,
- 6:50Speaker 5: how y'all do it? Elbow?
- 6:54Speaker 9: I just if somebody's grabbing the inside of my yellow.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Full on, just you're gonna do it, dude? All right,
- 7:04Speaker 5: Well it's good enough.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Anyways, Landra, how are we doing great?
- 7:10Speaker 7: Oh yeah, fully back you know Wednesday blessed and.
- 7:14Speaker 8: Highly favored as always.
- 7:15Speaker 7: All right, Yeah, speaking of working out, I'm gonna do
- 7:20Speaker 7: a pilates class this Saturday at Beauvoir Park.
- 7:24Speaker 8: War is how you say it?
- 7:28Speaker 7: One of those I'm gonna be at that park. Rivers
- 7:30Speaker 7: is gonna be teaching it. She's raising money for fur ball.
- 7:33Speaker 7: So if you want to sign up for that and
- 7:35Speaker 7: do pilates with us, uh go check out.
- 7:38Speaker 8: I think her instagram, Oh yeah, is gonna be there.
- 7:40Speaker 7: Maybe you never know, Lane may or may not be
- 7:43Speaker 7: there to sign up and find out.
- 7:45Speaker 6: You could be walking down the road and Link could
- 7:47Speaker 6: be like hiding in a tree and I wouldn't shot, right,
- 7:50Speaker 6: guys everywhere who cares?
- 7:51Speaker 7: If plans getting there, I would be there.
- 7:54Speaker 5: You doing up there?
- 7:56Speaker 7: He's like just scoping out, just recruiting, just always be cruding.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Just different up there, this tree.
- 8:06Speaker 8: It's just different, good stuff.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Not happy that we lost to Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 4: You know we're gonna get there next segment for sure, boy.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Uh so yeah, before the pain, get the good stuff out.
- 8:23Speaker 9: So I was doing really well until so the lights
- 8:27Speaker 9: here are pretty yellow, right, and I was looking at
- 8:31Speaker 9: the camera hadn't changed it yet. Someone in the comment's
- 8:33Speaker 9: gonna say it looks like I don't have a shirt on.
- 8:35Speaker 9: I know it, look at look at the camera. It's
- 8:37Speaker 9: gonna happen. Yeah, you're tot it's gonna happen, and like
- 8:41Speaker 9: not so much in person, but on camera it's on
- 8:44Speaker 9: the exact same.
- 8:46Speaker 8: The other one.
- 8:47Speaker 9: Yeah, a little oh yeah, yeah, you see what I'm.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Saying, violation. You might need to put a shirt on.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Good thing you can't see my pants right now. Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 5: it's complete.
- 9:06Speaker 9: I mean the lights in here bad because those are
- 9:10Speaker 9: like white, but these here are yellow like they're they're
- 9:14Speaker 9: either way.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Okay, we'll get Beyonce one day, not today, maybe one day,
- 9:21Speaker 4: not tomorrow, but one day we'll get a little upgrade.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Not gonna stop us, not gonna stop us though, No,
- 9:31Speaker 4: I mean we could do day that. We're in the
- 9:34Speaker 4: Ford Theater in the eighteen hundreds, still do that. It's
- 9:39Speaker 4: of American history, that's right, And we're all about America

- 9:57Speaker 4: are over step away, we'll come back.
- 10:00Speaker 5: We do we need to.
- 10:01Speaker 4: We gotta talk about it. We'll get the show started

- 13:20Speaker 6: For me right now, I probably need to go there

- 13:27Speaker 6: have over there. Made me feel a little bit better,
- 13:29Speaker 6: get the body back up and running a little bit better.
- 13:32Speaker 6: But if you've ever thought about it, ever thought about it,
- 13:34Speaker 6: getting an IV now is the perfect time to go.

- 13:40Speaker 6: an account, get that first IV. You're in and out
- 13:42Speaker 6: probably thirty forty five minutes, feeling better, probably looking better.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Right there, go flow IV.
- 13:48Speaker 4: All right to LSU. Baseball falls to Bethune Cookman ten
- 13:51Speaker 4: to seven last night in the box, and just when
- 13:55Speaker 4: it looked like, you know, things were going in the
- 13:57Speaker 4: right direction, LSU gets back in the top twenty five.
- 14:00Speaker 4: You have a game like this now. Shout out to
- 14:03Speaker 4: Bethune Coochman. They came into the box and had twelve
- 14:07Speaker 4: hits and scored ten runs. They made the most of
- 14:11Speaker 4: every opportunity. Anytime LSU would take the lead, they would
- 14:16Speaker 4: answer right back. So first off, shout out to them
- 14:18Speaker 4: for playing a great baseball game and coming in and
- 14:21Speaker 4: getting the win. It was not a great baseball game
- 14:24Speaker 4: for LSU. You threw a ton of pitchers, you didn't
- 14:27Speaker 4: have timely hitting. Sure you had some success at the plate,
- 14:31Speaker 4: but we're going to go to that seventh inning where
- 14:33Speaker 4: you had the bases loaded and you had Mileum, Brown
- 14:38Speaker 4: and Pearson come up and all three strike out, strikeout, strikeout,
- 14:44Speaker 4: So you did not get the big hit whenever it
- 14:46Speaker 4: presented itself, and just not a great day. Not a
- 14:50Speaker 4: great day for you, not a great day certainly for
- 14:53Speaker 4: your pitching staff. It wasn't really it wasn't the walks
- 14:58Speaker 4: this time, because the two walks you did have were
- 15:02Speaker 4: walking in runs. So it wasn't that. It wasn't you know,
- 15:05Speaker 4: one of those games where you had nine walks, they
- 15:07Speaker 4: just hit the ball off of you.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Yeah, they were seeing it, they were seeing it, and
- 15:11Speaker 6: your guys just did not have the stuff. I mean,
- 15:14Speaker 6: I think LG threw nine pictures yesterday on a Tuesday,
- 15:20Speaker 6: and it just seemed, you know, I was, I was
- 15:22Speaker 6: in and out of the game throughout the evening. Kind
- 15:25Speaker 6: of would but it seems like every time I was,
- 15:27Speaker 6: I would get into the game, start watching it, they
- 15:30Speaker 6: would make it timely hit. We would make an untimely error.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Haeric Rizzy just throwing it all over the place.
- 15:37Speaker 5: It was.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Just wasn't your night. So kind of the honeymoon over
- 15:42Speaker 6: after after two sec series wins a little bit yesterday
- 15:45Speaker 6: you come back down to earth. But you're two guys
- 15:51Speaker 6: that are hot, stay hot, Aaron Beady Curio, they stay
- 15:53Speaker 6: hot at the plan playing well, just keep it up.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Everybody else will We'll catch fire as well, hope, But
- 16:01Speaker 6: not a very good showing for the Tigers, obviously. I
- 16:04Speaker 6: found this interesting. Every Bethune Cookman starter had at least
- 16:07Speaker 6: one basip.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Yep.
- 16:11Speaker 6: That just it's kind of means that's your night. I mean,
- 16:13Speaker 6: even even when LSU pitchers aren't pitching their best, right,
- 16:16Speaker 6: it still just means you're hitting the ball pretty pretty
- 16:20Speaker 6: darn well and seeing it pretty well. So Dan Cookman,
- 16:23Speaker 6: I don't know what is their season record, they seemed
- 16:26Speaker 6: like they were a pretty good squad. Like you said,
- 16:27Speaker 6: they're Tuesdays started. Yeah, no, they're Tuesday starter with ninety five. Yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 6: I mean they're they're top right now in their conference. Well,
- 16:36Speaker 6: I mean they're tied with Texas Southern.
- 16:37Speaker 4: They're both ten to two overall, but they have the
- 16:39Speaker 4: better overall records, so yeah, they're I mean, they're leading
- 16:42Speaker 4: their conference. They've won three games in a row, which still,
- 16:45Speaker 4: like the thing's going to be frustrating is one you'r
- 16:47Speaker 4: LSU Like, we know that that's the obvious part of
- 16:49Speaker 4: it with the Bathune Cookman coming into town, but it
- 16:52Speaker 4: was the fact that you couldn't get them out. You
- 16:56Speaker 4: couldn't every starter has a hit. You had two walks,
- 17:01Speaker 4: and two costly walks scored runs. I get that, But
- 17:05Speaker 4: you had two errors, but they had twelve hits, like
- 17:11Speaker 4: that's the issue. And then again like.
- 17:13Speaker 5: And it was all timely too.
- 17:14Speaker 6: It was they were eight of nineteen with runners on base, yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 6: six or fifteen with runners in scoring position.
- 17:21Speaker 5: So they was just they stacked. They stacked their good
- 17:24Speaker 5: innings together.
- 17:24Speaker 6: They stacked they're good at bats together, right, And when
- 17:28Speaker 6: we had the chances to get out of things, we
- 17:30Speaker 6: just couldn't do it because of wild pitching. You know,
- 17:34Speaker 6: ground ball air to Dardar that we haven't really seen
- 17:37Speaker 6: him like it's his shoulder and I kind of kind
- 17:40Speaker 6: of I gotta bring up one thing like this is
- 17:42Speaker 6: a couple of it. And this isn't like a joke,
- 17:45Speaker 6: because this is like a serious question because we saw it,
- 17:48Speaker 6: Like do you think stanfield and left field? Do you
- 17:52Speaker 6: think like he's got some sort of like vision situation
- 17:56Speaker 6: happened it. We've seen it multiple times. We saw it
- 17:59Speaker 6: this weekend. There was two pop flies on a road
- 18:00Speaker 6: to left field that he could not find the ball. Now,
- 18:03Speaker 6: I get it. You got to work through some but
- 18:04Speaker 6: every out that's part of being an outfielder. You got
- 18:06Speaker 6: to work through where the sun is. But like he
- 18:09Speaker 6: couldn't pick it up to the last. Now he made
- 18:10Speaker 6: the catch we saw, was it against scrambling the air
- 18:14Speaker 6: and left field that just went right over his glove
- 18:16Speaker 6: on a pretty routine And then yesterday the one that
- 18:19Speaker 6: he might have hurt himself a little bit his wrists.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Again, it just seems like he couldn't track the ball.
- 18:25Speaker 6: And I bring up like the vision issue because like
- 18:28Speaker 6: think of when we were at LSU, Dwayne Bow had
- 18:31Speaker 6: his vision checked after one year, when the doctors and
- 18:35Speaker 6: the trainers are like, all right, hey, have you ever
- 18:36Speaker 6: had your vision checked? We need to do this, And
- 18:38Speaker 6: he went and had eye surgery and he comes back
- 18:41Speaker 6: the next year he gets drafted for the first round.
- 18:42Speaker 6: It was like it was all there, like it was
- 18:44Speaker 6: because he had drops, but it was because of his
- 18:46Speaker 6: He couldn't track the ball.
- 18:48Speaker 4: His death perception was a little bit off.
- 18:49Speaker 6: And I saw him like watching that and I'm like, okay,
- 18:52Speaker 6: just everybody makes an error. Cool, But then this weekend
- 18:55Speaker 6: he can't track a couple of balls, and yesterday it
- 18:57Speaker 6: didn't seem like he could track.
- 18:58Speaker 5: It just don't.
- 19:00Speaker 6: I got to think it about that last night, Like
- 19:02Speaker 6: because we know he's a good athlete, we know he's
- 19:04Speaker 6: a good leader, Like we know he what he can
- 19:07Speaker 6: do at the plate, not that he does it every time.
- 19:10Speaker 4: But like.
- 19:13Speaker 7: I mean, there is a bit of a drop off
- 19:15Speaker 7: from last season to this season in terms of fielding percentage.
- 19:18Speaker 7: Like I think that Chris Stanfield is a really good outfielder.
- 19:23Speaker 7: He had a nine ninety one field like a point
- 19:25Speaker 7: nine ninety one fielding percentage last season.
- 19:27Speaker 8: It is point ninety three to three right now.
- 19:29Speaker 7: So there is something that's like maybe bothering him a
- 19:33Speaker 7: little bit, or maybe like there's something that he's just
- 19:35Speaker 7: not seeing it, like you said. But I mean I
- 19:39Speaker 7: think usually Stanfield's pretty solid.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Gotcha, Yeah, I just found those two plays that's strange
- 19:44Speaker 5: just last week.
- 19:45Speaker 8: I agree with what you playing in the road.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Yeah, like that ball in the warning track yesterday, it
- 19:49Speaker 6: didn't seem like he tracked it very well. And I
- 19:52Speaker 6: get it, like when you got to feel the wall,
- 19:55Speaker 6: that's like a practice thing, and like if you don't,
- 19:58Speaker 6: that's tough. I get as a hard catch, Yes, say
- 20:00Speaker 6: it didn't look like attractive And then just stacking things
- 20:03Speaker 6: in the last week because last Tuesday, Yeah, he missed
- 20:06Speaker 6: that pretty routine that we've never really seen him.
- 20:08Speaker 9: It was it was a Friday, it was the Friday
- 20:10Speaker 9: night game against Tennessee and maybe maybe fifth inning. And
- 20:14Speaker 9: it's not that he made an error anything, but he
- 20:16Speaker 9: did it. There's a shallow ball hit into left field.
- 20:21Speaker 9: People aren't going to remember this because it didn't score
- 20:24Speaker 9: a run or anything, but Sanfield didn't even move, Like
- 20:27Speaker 9: I don't I don't thin, And to your point, I
- 20:28Speaker 9: don't think you saw it at all. I mean it
- 20:30Speaker 9: was ten to twelve feet in front of him and
- 20:32Speaker 9: like he didn't move. So I mean, maybe there is something.
- 20:35Speaker 7: I never played outfield, so I don't know if there's
- 20:38Speaker 7: like a difference in but he did play center last season,
- 20:41Speaker 7: so I don't know if maybe he has to get
- 20:42Speaker 7: used to cause again, like I don't know, but I
- 20:44Speaker 7: don't know if maybe he has to get used to
- 20:46Speaker 7: like right center versus left or left versus center. But
- 20:49Speaker 7: I mean, Kouriell looks like he's making the transition pretty well.
- 20:52Speaker 8: So yeah, I don't know.
- 20:54Speaker 6: It's just it seems strange from a guy that we
- 20:56Speaker 6: know can play outfield. Well right, just the division.
- 21:00Speaker 8: So I'm not disagreeing.
- 21:01Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 21:02Speaker 6: I'm just telling you from my history when we were
- 21:04Speaker 6: at LSU. Like, I'm not a doctor either, my brother
- 21:08Speaker 6: is one.
- 21:10Speaker 8: It runs in the.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Family family, which I basically am.
- 21:14Speaker 4: I knew that was coming a launder for you, biggas
- 21:16Speaker 4: takeaway in.
- 21:17Speaker 7: The game, I think my biggest takeaway is that your
- 21:21Speaker 7: midweek bullpen is not the same as your weekend bullpen.
- 21:24Speaker 8: So that was like a huge struggle for you.
- 21:27Speaker 7: And really, like y'all said earlier that it unraveled in
- 21:29Speaker 7: the seventh inning, you were still that you were going
- 21:32Speaker 7: back and forth, but you were still in the game.
- 21:33Speaker 7: You had the lead going into the seventh inning, and
- 21:35Speaker 7: then you had the error you had you walked a
- 21:38Speaker 7: bunch of or you didn't walk a bunch of people,
- 21:40Speaker 7: but like you, you had people on base, they were
- 21:42Speaker 7: hitting the ball, and it really just unraveled there and
- 21:44Speaker 7: you just couldn't get it turned. From like you were
- 21:46Speaker 7: in the lead six to five, you were down ten
- 21:48Speaker 7: to six, and then like you said, you had the
- 21:51Speaker 7: bases loaded, couldn't make anything happen. And that's like the
- 21:54Speaker 7: frustrating part for me. Why, like no timely hitting. Come on,
- 21:59Speaker 7: you had the bases loaded for you to like strike
- 22:02Speaker 7: out the side.
- 22:04Speaker 4: And shut him down. I mean he struck out the
- 22:08Speaker 4: side with the bases loaded. He goes three innings, only
- 22:10Speaker 4: gives up one hit, one run wasn't earned. He did
- 22:14Speaker 4: walk too, but I mean he came in and struck
- 22:16Speaker 4: out the heart of the Lshu's lineup and very non
- 22:20Speaker 4: competitive at bats, very non competitive, I mean, Adam looking foolish.
- 22:25Speaker 7: That's the thing that's been making me angry all season
- 22:29Speaker 7: is the at bats and they're not competitive and they're
- 22:32Speaker 7: not patient at the plate, and it just it makes
- 22:35Speaker 7: me sound good.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Or something that maybe.
- 22:40Speaker 9: You said, Well, I mean there's those three strikeouts, like
- 22:43Speaker 9: those are three of the guys you should trust the
- 22:44Speaker 9: most in your lineup. And I mean to your point,
- 22:47Speaker 9: Jake like, it wasn't even close. I mean it was
- 22:50Speaker 9: a brown milem and who was the third one? I
- 22:54Speaker 9: mean that's yeah, those are three of your guys right
- 22:58Speaker 9: there that you feel like you should us.
- 23:00Speaker 4: But yeah, Pearson, the one he swung at the last
- 23:03Speaker 4: strike was in the left handed batters box.
- 23:07Speaker 8: I'm gonna give it up.
- 23:08Speaker 7: Tune Cookman, though, like Flowers for sure they played, they played,
- 23:12Speaker 7: they were good.
- 23:13Speaker 8: Yeah at centerfielder. Uh it was the same eyes. Oh
- 23:18Speaker 8: I sent him in the chat last night. Rivera Rivera, Yes, Rivera.
- 23:22Speaker 8: I'm like, go recruit him to replace Corriel. That dude
- 23:26Speaker 8: was making some catches out there.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeh, Little Andrew Jones to him too. He was just
- 23:30Speaker 4: catching just like hear that, No big deal.
- 23:33Speaker 9: What's happening, Jake, you were you were talking about takeaways.
- 23:38Speaker 9: I thought Mason Braun was awesome at first base. I
- 23:40Speaker 9: mean he he made some plays, he was digging out
- 23:43Speaker 9: some throws. He well, he goes one for three from
- 23:45Speaker 9: the plate, which is an improvement. But you know, all
- 23:48Speaker 9: over season, like Mason Braun was the number one first
- 23:53Speaker 9: baseman coming out of high school last year, nobody was
- 23:55Speaker 9: ranked higher. Yeah, he comes to l s U and
- 23:57Speaker 9: I understand they wanted to move into outfield, and people say,
- 24:00Speaker 9: well they view him more than outfielder. I don't really
- 24:03Speaker 9: care where you view him, Like the guy could play
- 24:05Speaker 9: first base and you had a hole at first base
- 24:07Speaker 9: in my opinion, Like we did this with Trade Morgan.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Every single off season.
- 24:11Speaker 9: Everybody said, is this the off season you're gonna move
- 24:14Speaker 9: Trade Morgan to outfield, you could just tell he's an outfielder. Well,
- 24:17Speaker 9: three years later he wins to the National Championship and
- 24:20Speaker 9: he leaves the program as probably the best defensive first
- 24:22Speaker 9: baseman you've ever had. So like Mason Brawn can play
- 24:25Speaker 9: first base. There's a hole there. I think he fills
- 24:27Speaker 9: that need. I think he should stay there. I agree,
- 24:32Speaker 9: and hats off to mile him last night.
- 24:36Speaker 5: On defense. Yeah, he's so good, made some very nice plays.
- 24:42Speaker 6: I'm sure that little, tiny, little air that he made
- 24:45Speaker 6: this past weekend's probably been eating him up too.
- 24:48Speaker 9: That's the thing, like he has to be perfect right,
- 24:51Speaker 9: and like nobody is.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Yeah, he's close to it, though he's closed.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Hey look, but then, Cookman, I saw some guys on
- 24:58Speaker 5: that team that might look good shoe uniform next year.
- 25:01Speaker 8: I'll tell you Rivera look good.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Name again.
- 25:06Speaker 5: That shut us down with basically future tiger sounds like
- 25:10Speaker 5: a tiger already as your tiger.
- 25:11Speaker 7: I need to start recruiting Puerto Rico.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Right, Martinez Rodriguez, another riz Rivera Morales.
- 25:24Speaker 5: What Linn said, I don't know.
- 25:30Speaker 8: I don't see it at all.
- 25:33Speaker 4: If you know, you know, if you know you know, do.
- 25:36Speaker 5: I know what that is? Anymore. Oh Lynn world shaken.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I was like, whoa, oh.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Jarring?
- 25:46Speaker 8: It really was.
- 25:49Speaker 4: All right on that. We'll step away, uh.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Oh man O four eight two O.
- 26:03Speaker 4: We'll step away more OTV when we come back here
- 26:05Speaker 4: live from the Raisin King studio.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Off the bench, all right.

- 26:32Speaker 4: some national company putting you on hold. It is here,
- 26:35Speaker 4: it is local. I've worked with them, Matt's worked with them.
- 26:38Speaker 4: They are incredible, you know, friendly, professional, they are in,
- 26:43Speaker 4: they're out. I mean they found something wrong with my
- 26:45Speaker 4: system and fixed it within just a couple of hours.
- 26:48Speaker 4: It was in, it was out. It was a very
- 26:50Speaker 4: easy situation with Emerson Heating and Air ems air dot net.
- 26:54Speaker 5: That's right, go to ems air dot net.
- 26:56Speaker 6: Yeah, you want the best and the heating and air

- 27:18Speaker 8: If you may be, I'm telling you.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Dude, off the bench presented by Hood Dental.
- 27:40Speaker 2: She gotta doing the visions intensi Wolf for some kids.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I'm kicking all right. Welcome backa in OTV here live
- 27:48Speaker 4: from the Raising Canes studio. Of course, our Wednday show
- 27:52Speaker 4: is brought to you by Hood Dental Care Smells You
- 27:55Speaker 4: Football News. Quarterback Sam Levitt is going to be out
- 27:59Speaker 4: the rest of spring practice. Now. He got the pins
- 28:02Speaker 4: out of his foot from his initial surgery, so he
- 28:05Speaker 4: didn't go out there and get hurt. This was, you know,
- 28:08Speaker 4: kind of the process, part of the plan. Yes, and
- 28:11Speaker 4: I wish we had doctor Ethrogen today, but Doc had
- 28:14Speaker 4: a appointment. He had to go to Doc. He did
- 28:17Speaker 4: funny enough. But so you get the pins out and
- 28:20Speaker 4: so now you're gonna be out, You're gonna recover, try
- 28:22Speaker 4: to get ready for fall camp. But now you could
- 28:27Speaker 4: obviously argue this if you have a different opinion, Matthew.
- 28:30Speaker 4: But at least he was out there. At least he had,
- 28:32Speaker 4: you know, a handful of practices with his new receivers
- 28:36Speaker 4: and new backs and new terminology. I'm not saying that
- 28:39Speaker 4: it's the best situation because you want.
- 28:41Speaker 5: To play a little catch.
- 28:42Speaker 4: He did.
- 28:42Speaker 5: You got to have a catch with some of the receivers.
- 28:44Speaker 4: And probably still out there, you know now, behind crutches
- 28:48Speaker 4: or something. But at least he got a chance to
- 28:50Speaker 4: go out there and throw with the guys. He's gonna
- 28:52Speaker 4: be throwing two in the fall, and then it's it's
- 28:55Speaker 4: a great opportunity for the other two quarterbacks to go
- 28:57Speaker 4: out there and fight and see what they can do
- 28:59Speaker 4: to impress the coch.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Yeah, it's absolutely important for those guys that are that
- 29:04Speaker 6: are out there practicing, and we and Taylor and I
- 29:08Speaker 6: talked about this on Monday about how you know, you're
- 29:11Speaker 6: not going to name any starters, certainly during spring or
- 29:15Speaker 6: right after spring. There's no nobody that's going to be
- 29:18Speaker 6: named a starter. It's just about those guys working and
- 29:21Speaker 6: and qualifying. It's qualification round a couple of weeks. They're
- 29:24Speaker 6: they're they're trying to set their pole position going into
- 29:28Speaker 6: into the summer. But for sam Levitt, going out there
- 29:31Speaker 6: and being able to do anything I think was land
- 29:34Speaker 6: yat for him, right, just to be able to go
- 29:36Speaker 6: out and practice at all, which which was you know,
- 29:40Speaker 6: I don't think that they knew if he was going
- 29:42Speaker 6: to be able to do that or not when they
- 29:44Speaker 6: signed him, right, But it's great to be able to
- 29:47Speaker 6: go out there. But of course the important stuff for
- 29:49Speaker 6: him is to go out there and learn the offense,
- 29:52Speaker 6: learn the terminology, start to become fluent in the offense
- 29:55Speaker 6: and the way fluent in Lane speak. Right, That's that's
- 29:59Speaker 6: what the goal is. You want to be able to
- 30:00Speaker 6: speak the exact same language. You don't want to have
- 30:03Speaker 6: to be translating what Lane's saying into what you used
- 30:06Speaker 6: to your your old offense.
- 30:08Speaker 5: So that all takes time.
- 30:09Speaker 4: It takes.
- 30:12Speaker 6: It takes being in that meeting room and talking to talk,
- 30:15Speaker 6: you know, multiple multiple, multiple hours a day. Now I
- 30:19Speaker 6: can't remember how many hours a day college kids can
- 30:21Speaker 6: actually be there doing it.
- 30:22Speaker 5: I was supposed to.
- 30:23Speaker 6: I was about to say twelve hours a day, because
- 30:25Speaker 6: that's like the NFL world. But as many as you
- 30:28Speaker 6: can you go in there and you talk anymore. So, Yeah,
- 30:32Speaker 6: there's no wig a sue. Yeah, but it's it's very important.
- 30:37Speaker 6: Like I remember being able to get a ton out
- 30:41Speaker 6: of practice, sitting there watching other people do it.
- 30:45Speaker 4: I had to write.
- 30:46Speaker 6: It's something I had to adapt or I was going
- 30:49Speaker 6: to not be playing football anymore.
- 30:52Speaker 5: So there is a skill to that.
- 30:54Speaker 6: But certainly being able to be out there on the
- 30:55Speaker 6: practice field here in the play calls, walking behind the
- 30:59Speaker 6: line of scrobby walking behind the play and being like,
- 31:01Speaker 6: all right, what would I do here? And being able
- 31:03Speaker 6: to look at your different cues. All right, we're gonna
- 31:05Speaker 6: break the hudle. I'm gonna look at the defensive lineman,
- 31:07Speaker 6: what they overfront, even front, under front, where the linebackers
- 31:11Speaker 6: mic on the ball, will on the ball?
- 31:12Speaker 5: Is he strut?
- 31:13Speaker 6: Is he is he bumped out? What kind of what's
- 31:16Speaker 6: the they nickel covers? They base, they died?
- 31:18Speaker 4: What is it?
- 31:19Speaker 6: And then looking at my safety cues and my corner
- 31:21Speaker 6: cues and just like going through the whole pre snap
- 31:24Speaker 6: process is a skill that every quarterback has to have,
- 31:30Speaker 6: right And Sam's been playing since a freshman, right, yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 6: he's he might have never in his life has he
- 31:37Speaker 6: had to develop that skill. Probably he's probably never had
- 31:40Speaker 6: to sit out of practice and like do those things
- 31:42Speaker 6: to take mental reps. So hopefully that's something that he
- 31:47Speaker 6: took advantage of. But I can tell you you can
- 31:50Speaker 6: get a ton out of out of sitting there and
- 31:52Speaker 6: taking mental repetitions.
- 31:54Speaker 4: I agree.
- 31:56Speaker 5: I was able to do it and improve and get better.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so my first two years playing fullback. But also
- 32:03Speaker 4: there'd be times in a game where if we were
- 32:05Speaker 4: up or whatever, I'd go into tailback, like they didn't
- 32:08Speaker 4: have time to teach me fullback, and then go back
- 32:11Speaker 4: and teach me tillback. It wasn't how it worked. When
- 32:15Speaker 4: ever Derek Dooley or Jimbo was talking to Joseph had
- 32:21Speaker 4: or JV or Ali or whoever it was. I had
- 32:23Speaker 4: to listen to that because they weren't talking to me,
- 32:27Speaker 4: but they were. Yeah, like that's how I learned running
- 32:29Speaker 4: back like fullback when they were talking, hey fullbacks hester
- 32:32Speaker 4: blah blah blah, but they didn't talk to me. But
- 32:34Speaker 4: I had to listen because I knew, like there might
- 32:36Speaker 4: be a chance that the old bomb squad fifteen to
- 32:39Speaker 4: eighteen might be in there together, you know what I mean,
- 32:41Speaker 4: against North Texas or whoever it is, so like that's
- 32:45Speaker 4: how I learned, and so like when I got my opportunities.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I'm trying to think my freshman year, I got a
- 32:51Speaker 4: chance to get in the game four minute offense against
- 32:54Speaker 4: Alabama and there was one more other team. But when
- 32:57Speaker 4: they threw me out there, they expected me to know
- 33:00Speaker 4: it because of those reps that I got listening to
- 33:03Speaker 4: them talk to the other guys.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Yep.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Like that's another thing that like, you can gain a
- 33:07Speaker 4: lot from sitting there and hearing somebody else get coached
- 33:11Speaker 4: as well.
- 33:11Speaker 6: Yeah, it's it's it's funny because especially the higher you go,
- 33:15Speaker 6: the higher level of sports or really anything in business,
- 33:19Speaker 6: in life, whatever. The higher you go, the higher level
- 33:21Speaker 6: it is, you don't always see the most talented person
- 33:26Speaker 6: out there. Right, Coaches and leaders and bosses whatever, they
- 33:32Speaker 6: don't want to tell you the same thing twice. You
- 33:35Speaker 6: got to be able to take what they say once
- 33:38Speaker 6: and apply that and then learn it and make it
- 33:42Speaker 6: part of your daily habit or your habit for that
- 33:44Speaker 6: player or whatever it is. So that's one of the
- 33:46Speaker 6: reasons why you see people like, man, how's that guy
- 33:48Speaker 6: still in the league? Well, how's that how'd that guy
- 33:51Speaker 6: make it of that guy, Well, the guy that was
- 33:53Speaker 6: more talented, the coach had to keep coaching him or
- 33:56Speaker 6: the same thing over and over and over, and then
- 33:58Speaker 6: a have time for that. Yeah, you tell you, these
- 34:01Speaker 6: guys have to be taught once and so that is
- 34:03Speaker 6: wildly important. Right now, Lana Collins makes a mistake, he's
- 34:09Speaker 6: gonna get coached up.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Well, Lusan and.
- 34:12Speaker 6: Sam better be listening to what he's being coached at,
- 34:14Speaker 6: because that's how you get better, That's how you improve.
- 34:16Speaker 5: So I'd like to the whole getting the the pins
- 34:22Speaker 5: removed in the.
- 34:23Speaker 6: Foot and being out. I mean, I'm assuming that was
- 34:25Speaker 6: all part of the plan. I mean, those things going
- 34:26Speaker 6: to come out at some point, and I figured it
- 34:28Speaker 6: was already scheduled. So nothing too, I guess, nothing to
- 34:33Speaker 6: be alarmed about or be worried about. That's all part
- 34:36Speaker 6: of the plan. So yeah, I just there's a lot
- 34:38Speaker 6: of benefit that you can get from taking those mental reps,
- 34:41Speaker 6: and but you got to be willing to do it,
- 34:43Speaker 6: and you've got to be able to and there is
- 34:45Speaker 6: a certain skill set to that.
- 34:47Speaker 4: All right, I do want to throw this one to
- 34:49Speaker 4: Tata before we do want to remind you of our

- 35:34Speaker 4: want to get your thoughts on the quarterback room now
- 35:37Speaker 4: that we know Sam levin his spring is done. Land
- 35:40Speaker 4: and Clark out there taking reps with the ones. As
- 35:43Speaker 4: you said the other day, I know you're a big
- 35:45Speaker 4: fan of what Land and Clark can bring to the
- 35:47Speaker 4: table at Clark.
- 35:48Speaker 9: Yeah, I do like Landing Clark. No, there's a lot
- 35:54Speaker 9: of design QB runs for him. Is the big thing
- 35:57Speaker 9: for me, Like, uh, you know the eleven on eleven
- 36:00Speaker 9: that you get to see. They call it the fast six.
- 36:02Speaker 9: We brought it up last week. It's six plays, no huddle,
- 36:05Speaker 9: real real fast, and I mean it's you know, Clark
- 36:07Speaker 9: will throw pass design QB run for him. I mean,
- 36:10Speaker 9: I think in last week three of the six plays
- 36:13Speaker 9: were designed QB runs. He had a design QB run yesterday,
- 36:16Speaker 9: and I mean there was a play last week nobody
- 36:19Speaker 9: was open. He took off up the middle and it's
- 36:21Speaker 9: probably a fifty yard touchdown if.
- 36:23Speaker 5: The whistle's not blown. Yeah, he's just a guy.
- 36:25Speaker 9: He can roll. We've seen the arm strength, and I
- 36:28Speaker 9: mean he's moving around well out there. He's taken off
- 36:30Speaker 9: outside the pocket. I mean, I mean, right now, you know,
- 36:33Speaker 9: I get it. It's it's non contact. It's yes, it's
- 36:37Speaker 9: eleven on eleven, but it's not full go. But I mean,
- 36:39Speaker 9: right now, the returns are good and you.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Got a guy that has starting experience that's valuable as
- 36:45Speaker 4: your backup quarterback. Alandra, did you kind of have to
- 36:50Speaker 4: double check the Sam Levitt picture like I did when
- 36:53Speaker 4: he had his foot up with an acepandage on it
- 36:57Speaker 4: and panic.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Like I did.
- 36:58Speaker 8: I did.
- 36:59Speaker 4: I didn't really panic.
- 37:01Speaker 7: I didn't really panic because of the Land and Clark thing,
- 37:04Speaker 7: but also like I don't think that there's like football
- 37:10Speaker 7: is kind of around the corner, but you also still
- 37:12Speaker 7: have some time to heal.
- 37:13Speaker 8: And then he was like, guys, it's fine.
- 37:15Speaker 4: I didn't read it at first. Yeah, well the mess.
- 37:21Speaker 5: It was like minor setback for major comeback.
- 37:24Speaker 8: Yeah he twisted it or something like. I was like,
- 37:27Speaker 8: this dude's out here playing basketball again.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I know why I had that injury before, and I
- 37:32Speaker 4: know just how tedious it can be. And I'm like,
- 37:34Speaker 4: oh damn, yeah, he's done it. He's hurted again.
- 37:37Speaker 8: That I don't think you had to take the pins out.
- 37:41Speaker 9: Though, apparently in order to like full to begin his rehab,
- 37:45Speaker 9: they had to come out. So that's the that's the
- 37:47Speaker 9: whole because like I heard a lot of people yesterday
- 37:50Speaker 9: like that can't be it. It's it's gotta be more too,
- 37:52Speaker 9: And it's like, no, no, no, you want him to
- 37:53Speaker 9: get the pins out.
- 37:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't want him to wait till till May.
- 37:56Speaker 5: You want that out as soon as possible.
- 37:58Speaker 9: And look when they signed landa Lork it was always
- 38:02Speaker 9: was always said by the end of May, sam levit
- 38:05Speaker 9: should be one hundred percent ready to go.
- 38:06Speaker 5: You still got a month ago that to happen. Like
- 38:09Speaker 5: this is fun.
- 38:09Speaker 6: He's right on page I saw the picture and I
- 38:12Speaker 6: was like, well he got hurt. I was like his
- 38:17Speaker 6: wording could have been better there. He should have said, yeah,
- 38:21Speaker 6: come back. And then I was like, no, not the
- 38:23Speaker 6: crumbled a beer can. It was a water can.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Was like no in the bar.
- 38:30Speaker 4: When I first saw it, I thought it was a bush.
- 38:33Speaker 4: I swear to god I did that. I was like,
- 38:38Speaker 4: oh wait, okay, he's in the passage seat. That's still illegal.
- 38:40Speaker 6: But I actually thought, actually I looked at it, I
- 38:44Speaker 6: thought it was a medello, and I was like, well,
- 38:46Speaker 6: he wouldn't be that terrible.
- 38:47Speaker 4: He would.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I thought.
- 38:53Speaker 4: The stock I don't know what I mean, he's going
- 38:55Speaker 4: to be good.
- 38:57Speaker 5: The stocks.
- 38:59Speaker 4: It went down, didn't want to go through the roof.
- 39:02Speaker 6: I don't know if he meant it, but that's that
- 39:04Speaker 6: stock angle is at the perfect angle. Is his foot too,
- 39:08Speaker 6: like a lie that's perfectly parallel?
- 39:11Speaker 5: All right?
- 39:11Speaker 4: All right?
- 39:13Speaker 6: They want to mention this real quick I was talking
- 39:15Speaker 6: about mental wraps, the power of the mind. Yeah, I
- 39:18Speaker 6: wanted to share with the all story that Derek Dooley
- 39:21Speaker 6: taught me.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Okay, is it long enough to tease it and come
- 39:26Speaker 4: back on the other side.
- 39:28Speaker 6: I mean it's probably fifteen twenty seconds. Hurry, maybe twenty
- 39:32Speaker 6: five seconds, all right. I talked about Sam Levitt taking
- 39:35Speaker 6: mental wraps and how you can improve in that. He
- 39:38Speaker 6: told me the story. I don't know it's true. I've
- 39:40Speaker 6: never fact checked this. I just believe it because, you
- 39:43Speaker 6: know whatever.
- 39:43Speaker 4: That's also the man that told Sean Jordan there was
- 39:45Speaker 4: a wrestling team at True Shoe. It is true, even
- 39:48Speaker 4: though it was club. He forgot to mention that part
- 39:50Speaker 4: of it.
- 39:50Speaker 8: All right, true story is not true.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Power of the mind it's probably true. It could be true,
- 39:54Speaker 6: could be. There was a Vietnam POW prisoner war.
- 39:58Speaker 4: He's a golfer.
- 39:59Speaker 6: Yeah, never in his life had he broken one hundred
- 40:01Speaker 6: at golfing. But he was a prisoner of war for
- 40:03Speaker 6: a couple of years. To keep his mind in it,
- 40:06Speaker 6: keep his mind sane from going crazy, he played three full,
- 40:10Speaker 6: eighteen whole rounds of golf in his mind every single day,
- 40:13Speaker 6: every single detail so it took him a long time.
- 40:16Speaker 6: That's how that's how he stayed sane. Okay, so he
- 40:18Speaker 6: got at the end of the war. He survived.
- 40:21Speaker 4: Yeah, it was free.
- 40:21Speaker 5: He came back to the States, played golf, shot even
- 40:25Speaker 5: part boom.
- 40:31Speaker 8: I love it.
- 40:31Speaker 4: You know an the information like name. We can fact

- 42:54Speaker 6: feel so so damn American real quick.
- 42:56Speaker 4: Elandra Yeah.
- 42:57Speaker 7: Major James Nesmith. He was a prisoner of war in
- 43:01Speaker 7: North Vietnam during the Vietnamese War, obviously, and he was
- 43:05Speaker 7: a weekend golfer, like you said, he's shot in the
- 43:07Speaker 7: mid nineties, but he spent seven years during the Vietnam War.
- 43:12Speaker 7: Spent seven years in a four and a half by
- 43:14Speaker 7: five foot cage, and he meticulously played a full eighteen
- 43:20Speaker 7: hole round in his mind every day, and he would
- 43:23Speaker 7: adjust for weather, he would choose his clubs, and upon returning,
- 43:27Speaker 7: he shot a seventy four, shaving twenty plus strokes off
- 43:31Speaker 7: his game.
- 43:32Speaker 8: So this is a real story.
- 43:37Speaker 7: Twenty strokes, twenty strokes, twenty four strokes off his game.
- 43:41Speaker 5: I don't know about y'all. Just got American chills.
- 43:44Speaker 4: American American chills.
- 43:47Speaker 8: Also, Colonel this is a different one. Colonel George Hall.
- 43:50Speaker 8: He was an Air Force officer. He was in Hanoi.
- 43:55Speaker 8: So I think that's World War two, World War something
- 43:59Speaker 8: don't don't quote me on that. I'm not historians.
- 44:01Speaker 7: But he was also held captive for over seven years,
- 44:06Speaker 7: and he would also visualize his favorite course. But the
- 44:08Speaker 7: one that Matt was talking about was or Matt and
- 44:13Speaker 7: Derek Dooley we're talking about was major James Nesmith seven years,
- 44:18Speaker 7: seven years in a four and a half by five
- 44:20Speaker 7: foot cage.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Man, after hearing this again, I don't know if I
- 44:26Speaker 4: believe it.
- 44:27Speaker 5: My god, wow, in fact that.
- 44:29Speaker 9: That's on America, I'm sure he was great and he
- 44:33Speaker 9: was like, guys, let me tell you, I visualize this.
- 44:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I hates America.
- 44:37Speaker 8: What else are you going to do in a four
- 44:38Speaker 8: and a half by five foot cage?
- 44:41Speaker 9: I can't do that as well, but I would still
- 44:44Speaker 9: have to go out there and play. I don't think
- 44:45Speaker 9: it makes me a better player. I don't believe George.
- 44:48Speaker 4: You can't even stand up straight.
- 44:52Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a small cage. I was about to say.
- 44:55Speaker 8: Something, So visualization is a real thing.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Seven years is a long time. No, I'm saying, I
- 45:00Speaker 5: don't believe George. How long.
- 45:04Speaker 8: Well, it's the first one's not saying that. The first
- 45:08Speaker 8: one's not saying that he shaved. It's just saying he.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Did the same thing, same thing, like that helped him
- 45:12Speaker 4: pass the time.
- 45:13Speaker 6: Yeah, when I'm talking about mid nineties seventy four, all
- 45:18Speaker 6: with his mind without picking up a golf baller club.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Power the mind. People stand up, you're like unch power
- 45:24Speaker 5: of the American mind there.
- 45:27Speaker 8: Yeah, that's not American strength.
- 45:30Speaker 5: That's not American mental strength. Yeah, you can do so. Yeah.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Do I think Sam Levit can benefit from spring just watching?
- 45:37Speaker 4: Yeah, like how we died that?
- 45:40Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, absolutely, he's the same thing.
