- 0:01Speaker 1: Mirror, mirror on the wall, on the wall. Who's gonna
- 0:04Speaker 1: be the first of all?
- 0:06Speaker 2: No, no, no, not me. I make my homies.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Yeah that's me.
- 0:13Speaker 4: I don't have a go to work.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I was born ready. But what's going on? Everybody? I'm
- 0:24Speaker 2: the one, the only, the w O O K. I
- 0:26Speaker 2: e joined here by the normal cast of misfits. I
- 0:29Speaker 2: got my left hand man, Cole, Robbie was everyone's favorite
- 0:35Speaker 2: red shirt, and that creepy kid in your science class deck.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Sir, Hello, hello everybody, and Felix is that.
- 0:43Speaker 5: I guess I'm a red hand man this time?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Yeah? Why not? It seems fair? Right?
- 0:50Speaker 4: Are you saying you need two hands?
- 0:53Speaker 5: I mean not the I mean you can't. You can't.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Well that's objective.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah, not for everything, but for some things you do
- 1:03Speaker 2: need two hands. Anyway, got some stuff and things to
- 1:09Speaker 2: go over for you this week. As Cole likes to
- 1:12Speaker 2: call it, the article sodes, a couple of articles released
- 1:16Speaker 2: to Day No. One was released a few days ago.
- 1:21Speaker 2: One was released today.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, the big important one was released today.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So we're gonna go through the kind of the quick
- 1:28Speaker 2: one again. It's just more stuff about the Tumult Championships.
- 1:32Speaker 2: They got a nice little link in there for if
- 1:35Speaker 2: you want to find your local Tumult championships and contacting
- 1:41Speaker 2: your stores to see if they're participating. And a judge
- 1:45Speaker 2: quiz ooh ooh, judge quiz ooh, I like those.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I like the judge quiz just filled it out, got
- 1:55Speaker 3: a twenty three out of twenty eight.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you need to do question? How do
- 1:58Speaker 2: you pass? What?
- 2:01Speaker 3: Twenty four better? Is like you're definitely a good judge
- 2:06Speaker 3: and I think more than eighteen is like pretty solid understanding.
- 2:10Speaker 3: But maybe need to like brush up on the rules
- 2:12Speaker 3: a little bit more before being a judge, is what
- 2:14Speaker 3: they said.
- 2:15Speaker 6: Yeah, they have a rubric built onto it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Do they have like where do I go? Like if
- 2:20Speaker 2: I were like I want to be a judge, Like
- 2:22Speaker 2: where would I go find them?
- 2:25Speaker 6: So not yet, But what is happening is they just
- 2:30Speaker 6: hired Cedric who is the organized play director out in Paris,
- 2:36Speaker 6: and he is beginning work on the judge program. And
- 2:41Speaker 6: that's kind of what this is a start of.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So, so who is their organized play director for U
- 2:51Speaker 2: North America?
- 2:53Speaker 4: Justin?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Justin, Okay, I wasn't sure. I was like, I wonder
- 2:57Speaker 2: who's on the base ground here for the United States
- 3:00Speaker 2: of A.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yep, it's justin.
- 3:04Speaker 6: He's usually at all of the conventions.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Super cool dude.
- 3:10Speaker 6: We've talked about him a couple times, talked to him
- 3:14Speaker 6: a couple of times myself, blah blah blah. But yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 6: the Tumult article is just kind of a recap and
- 3:25Speaker 6: some information and reminders for stores, and then that judge
- 3:28Speaker 6: quiz as you said, But the big kahuna is the
- 3:33Speaker 6: one that actually dropped today, which is the mid season patch.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah, some interesting information in here. So we start off
- 3:42Speaker 2: with the state of the game. Traviy Frost has been
- 3:45Speaker 2: out for almost two months now. We're thrilled with how
- 3:48Speaker 2: well it's been received. Many cards have found their home
- 3:51Speaker 2: into existing ducklists, leading to the rise of new strategies.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Competitive events, both online and in store, are showcasing a
- 3:58Speaker 2: wide variety of factions heroes. To give you a snapshot
- 4:02Speaker 2: in today's meta game, we've pulled a few numbers from
- 4:05Speaker 2: current season two on Board Game Arena. So nice little
- 4:11Speaker 2: spread here, Actually, I was actually quite surprised with how
- 4:15Speaker 2: the spread is so going from I guess top to bottom,
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yizmir is pulling in about twenty percent a little over
- 4:24Speaker 2: Bravos nineteen, Ortis eighteen. I feel like that's a big
- 4:29Speaker 2: fall from grace for them. No, just me, okay, well it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Being gone. Yeah, they actually literally the least hero out
- 4:41Speaker 3: of all of them.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They break it down Sigma sigasmyn wingspan fourteen, Golerang and
- 4:47Speaker 2: tocsin three point four, Waru and Mac one percent.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Yep, I loved I'd loved seeing Goring having a higher
- 4:55Speaker 6: percentage than Waru.
- 4:58Speaker 4: But yeah, this is the the BGA.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Stats, and from what I understand, they take it as
- 5:08Speaker 6: a whole. And on the bottom of the graph here
- 5:10Speaker 6: it says data collected on Board Game Arena between January
- 5:15Speaker 6: thirty first and March twenty first. So I think the
- 5:22Speaker 6: meta is the healthiest that's ever been I.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Will say it. I mean it's a pretty healthy Matamuna
- 5:27Speaker 2: at fifteen, Lyra at fourteen, Axiom at eleven. I mean
- 5:30Speaker 2: that's that's a decent spread.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Yeah, a lot of people will complain about second heroes
- 5:38Speaker 6: being present too much, but it is nowhere near what
- 5:43Speaker 6: it was like back when Waru was.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Ruled the world.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I will say, this isn't exactly saying this is the
- 5:51Speaker 3: meta decks. This is just the ones that are most played,
- 5:54Speaker 3: so it's more of like a scale of popularity. So
- 5:58Speaker 3: it's possible that Axiom is even weaker in the meta,
- 6:01Speaker 3: and there's just people that enjoy Axiom and play it
- 6:03Speaker 3: regardless of its strength, and that's why its numbers are
- 6:07Speaker 3: that high.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Very possible.
- 6:10Speaker 2: One day y'all are going to have to explain to
- 6:13Speaker 2: me this obsession with losing. I don't really get it,
- 6:17Speaker 2: but you know.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I personally hate losing. But I'm just saying there are
- 6:21Speaker 3: people out there that are fine with losing and will
- 6:24Speaker 3: just play what they want and enjoy even if they
- 6:26Speaker 3: know it sucks and it's very difficult to wear. And
- 6:29Speaker 3: I think there are definitely some Axiom players that fall
- 6:32Speaker 3: into that category.
- 6:34Speaker 5: I built a random Navenka like two weeks ago and
- 6:36Speaker 5: I lost to a starter Deck's so pretty bad, but
- 6:40Speaker 5: it was fun.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Again, this is weird fun. This is weird territory. I've
- 6:47Speaker 2: never had fun in a losing match. But how.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Do you just run games on an online client? Because
- 6:59Speaker 6: that doesn't really exist for key Forge, so.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I mean it does.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I run games on TCO all the time. Co Robbie,
- 7:07Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about. Listen, you play
- 7:10Speaker 3: probably twenty games of key Forge Online this week, and
- 7:13Speaker 3: I've only played probably, like I don't know, five games
- 7:16Speaker 3: have altered just because key Forge is a lot faster.
- 7:20Speaker 6: You you cannot pull the wool over my eyes any longer
- 7:23Speaker 6: because now I am an official key Forge player. You
- 7:27Speaker 6: cannot queue up on TCO and just run games back
- 7:31Speaker 6: to back.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I do I do that co, Robbie.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Depending on how its depending on the time of day.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah you can.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Sometimes there's nobody else on. But ninety percent of the
- 7:42Speaker 3: time I get on and I make a game, someone
- 7:44Speaker 3: joins within a few minutes.
- 7:47Speaker 4: So what was that word you just used there?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Minutes?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Which word you minutes you make a game?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you make a lot one my.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Point stance, it's like it's like Carabass, Like the Crucible
- 8:05Speaker 6: Online is like Carabast. It's not like Hearthstone or Snap
- 8:09Speaker 6: or something where you just click a button and it
- 8:11Speaker 6: matches you someone.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And oh yeah, no it doesn't do that. No, you're
- 8:14Speaker 2: that that you are one hundred percent correct?
- 8:16Speaker 6: Then, yeah, well, these stats, viewing them from that lens
- 8:21Speaker 6: is whether it's Arena or play or whatever, is like
- 8:26Speaker 6: an online matchmaking data set.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, no, there's there's nothing like that, and keep.
- 8:34Speaker 3: There's not that much ELO matchup specific I've played like
- 8:38Speaker 3: people that are like really low ELO or really high
- 8:42Speaker 3: ELO and then Arena they You're not necessarily matched up
- 8:46Speaker 3: with people that are in the same division as you.
- 8:49Speaker 3: It maybe has a little bit of that matchmaking aspect,
- 8:51Speaker 3: but very little in my.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Experience either way. Get back to the article, what do
- 8:59Speaker 2: you say everybody agrees? I say no, you say nay,
- 9:07Speaker 2: We're gonna do it anyway. So most played faction was
- 9:12Speaker 2: just mere twenty point three least at Axiom eleven point four,
- 9:15Speaker 2: each faction representing with the top six most played heroes
- 9:19Speaker 2: of the season going top to bottom Sigismarren wingspank Tasia
- 9:25Speaker 2: and Nara, Afanas and Senka, Kojo and Boda, Fenn and Crowbar,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Sierra and Oddball. Nice little spread there, uh. Two cards
- 9:35Speaker 2: from Trial by Frost have joined the ranks of the
- 9:38Speaker 2: most played cards in their faction, the Frozen Delivery, Common
- 9:43Speaker 2: and Haven Oh man, I hate this card, Sarngar, thank
- 9:49Speaker 2: you at Common have joined that little list. So kind
- 9:53Speaker 2: of cool there, Hawthor for Lyra Munadruid, teamwork training and
- 9:58Speaker 2: off you go. Are still tops for their perspective, clans,
- 10:06Speaker 2: or affections. So I'm a numbers guy. I don't know
- 10:10Speaker 2: about you guys, Like I like looking at the numbers
- 10:12Speaker 2: and kind of being like, oh, okay, these are interesting,
- 10:15Speaker 2: these are fun.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Numbers are good.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I do like looking at that. But something that caught
- 10:22Speaker 2: my eye in the soul little article. It's not a
- 10:26Speaker 2: very incredibly long article, but some things when I was
- 10:30Speaker 2: scrolling through and I'm kind of just perusing right introducing
- 10:34Speaker 2: the watch list, you guys ready for this one.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Before I go to that, I thought that was interesting
- 10:41Speaker 5: how some of the most popular cards are all common.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I mean, that would make the most sense, no, considering
- 10:49Speaker 2: it's a game where you have to have the most commons.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it pretty much has to be common.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I think just because more people have commons.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I wonder if they didn't have the build restriction they did,
- 11:03Speaker 2: if that would be the same. I don't know, because
- 11:07Speaker 2: I suppose some of these cards like off you Go
- 11:09Speaker 2: might end up being rare, but because it's you know,
- 11:13Speaker 2: kind of they've deemed it a staple, they put it
- 11:14Speaker 2: in common. That way it's able to go on more decks.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Well, you also got to think rares are harder to
- 11:20Speaker 6: obtain as well.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and with the building process, a lot of the
- 11:25Speaker 3: thinking part is like which fifteen rare slots do I
- 11:28Speaker 3: want to use? And pretty much everyone has agreed. These
- 11:32Speaker 3: six commons are staple commons, and they're good in all decks,
- 11:36Speaker 3: across all factions, and there's no reason to not run them,
- 11:41Speaker 3: and the rare does not have enough increased value. But
- 11:44Speaker 3: these are just strong cards. But there's more discrepancy between
- 11:47Speaker 3: the rares, and some rares are better than others in
- 11:50Speaker 3: certain decks, Like if you're running Tasia, you're gonna want
- 11:53Speaker 3: to run different rares than if you're running Wren. So
- 11:56Speaker 3: the commons just have.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Flexibility.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, flexibility is a good word.
- 12:04Speaker 7: I'm just wondering how they're getting their statistics.
- 12:06Speaker 5: If they're doing it by the number of that card
- 12:10Speaker 5: being used or is it the number of decks that
- 12:13Speaker 5: have that card in it.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I think it's the number of because it says most played.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Most played. Actually I would say the most total, probably.
- 12:24Speaker 5: From most common people will run three of.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and then rares are like two and one, and
- 12:31Speaker 3: then you split it up to try to get the
- 12:33Speaker 3: fifteen spread.
- 12:34Speaker 2: That is an interesting question.
- 12:38Speaker 6: I think based off of the last time they did this,
- 12:40Speaker 6: it is specifically like played.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Well, I don't know the deta can be skewed that way.
- 12:49Speaker 7: It's just out of curiosity mostly it could be.
- 12:53Speaker 6: I mean, the data exists for both whether the card
- 12:56Speaker 6: was played or just in the deck. But all of
- 13:00Speaker 6: these cards as well, if you have them in your deck,
- 13:03Speaker 6: you're absolutely playing them almost no matter what.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's true too. I mean you are
- 13:09Speaker 2: going through a good chunk of your deck before the
- 13:10Speaker 2: end of the game.
- 13:11Speaker 6: So well, and none of these cards are cards you
- 13:15Speaker 6: would want to mana like if the only time I'm
- 13:19Speaker 6: manna ing like any of these cards is if I
- 13:21Speaker 6: for some reason get two or three in.
- 13:23Speaker 3: My opening hand, or I have like a handful of
- 13:28Speaker 3: uniques and rayers that are better. Yeah, Like, these are
- 13:31Speaker 3: the commons that you keep if you have commons.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I don't know, it's being a liar. I don't know
- 13:39Speaker 2: if I'm keeping a Hawthor, but maybe i am.
- 13:42Speaker 7: They've been using hot Theor in every single bill I make.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Yep, it's one of the best cards in Lyra.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it is. I'm not going to disagree
- 13:48Speaker 2: with you, but that's an interesting question. I think it
- 13:52Speaker 2: delves a little more thought. But let's talk about the
- 13:55Speaker 2: watch lists so we understand the impact that suspensions and
- 13:58Speaker 2: ratas have on players collection and competitive play. To minimize
- 14:02Speaker 2: unexpected surprises when you read our announcements, we're introducing the
- 14:06Speaker 2: watch list. We aim for transparency in all of our communications,
- 14:10Speaker 2: so letting you know which cards and decks we're monitoring
- 14:13Speaker 2: feels like the right thing to do. The watch list
- 14:16Speaker 2: is a simple list of common, rare, and unique cards.
- 14:19Speaker 2: While discussions around the watch list may reference certain heroes
- 14:23Speaker 2: or deck arc types, only those heroes' abilities who are
- 14:27Speaker 2: the center of concern will be included. Therefore, if a
- 14:29Speaker 2: deck arc type is under review, we'll focus on the
- 14:33Speaker 2: specific cards driving the arc type dominance and we'll add
- 14:37Speaker 2: them to the watch list if necessary. When a card
- 14:40Speaker 2: joins the watch list, it doesn't mean that it will
- 14:42Speaker 2: be suspended to receive an or rotum. It simply means
- 14:46Speaker 2: we're aware of performance in the current meta game and
- 14:49Speaker 2: are monitoring it to determine that it's causing any issues.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I guess I'll finish out the watch list thing first
- 14:58Speaker 2: because I have some questions on this spot. Why would
- 15:01Speaker 2: a card join the watch list. A car will be
- 15:03Speaker 2: out of the watch list for several reasons. It undermines
- 15:06Speaker 2: the gameplay experience we want for our players. It is
- 15:08Speaker 2: crucial part of archtype that is too dominant competitive play.
- 15:11Speaker 2: The card has too hot. I'm sorry, wuld you say?
- 15:18Speaker 2: I was like, did you tack one of my favorite cards?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Please don't. The card has a win rate too high
- 15:24Speaker 2: without an adequate counter in the current MENA game, it's
- 15:27Speaker 2: becoming it's become an auto including many decks, narrowing deck
- 15:32Speaker 2: building strategies. You can learn more. They have a little
- 15:36Speaker 2: thing about their philosophies which they went in with the
- 15:39Speaker 2: robin Hood type deal. Cards on the watch list are
- 15:43Speaker 2: closely monitored by our game design and play test team
- 15:46Speaker 2: will continue working on them until we decide to take
- 15:48Speaker 2: action or conclude that they aren't creating an issue our
- 15:52Speaker 2: play tests. Our play tests also consider upcoming sets to
- 15:57Speaker 2: ensure we are ahead of the curve. As a quick disclaim,
- 16:00Speaker 2: a card we've previously discussed as not needing to be
- 16:03Speaker 2: on the watch list in one of our communications or amas,
- 16:07Speaker 2: maybe added to the watch list if we find it's
- 16:10Speaker 2: has a greater impact on the meta than originally anticipated.
- 16:14Speaker 2: The possible outcomes for cards on the watch list suspensions
- 16:18Speaker 2: while we work on the Arotum receiving an Irotom in
- 16:21Speaker 2: a future season patch, becoming removed from the watch list
- 16:24Speaker 2: without any changes. Note that we may reserve the right
- 16:28Speaker 2: to suspend a card and emergency patch if we believe
- 16:31Speaker 2: the situation calls for it. However, the watch list system
- 16:33Speaker 2: is designed to help us avoid this as much as possible,
- 16:37Speaker 2: and this will only be used as a last resort.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Now do we have too many damn lists? That's my
- 16:46Speaker 2: next question? Do we need to be aware of the
- 16:49Speaker 2: what they're looking for?
- 16:52Speaker 5: So the watch list already exists even without them telling us,
- 16:55Speaker 5: though it's just becoming public now.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Ah how so?
- 17:01Speaker 5: So in general, just by experience, all different card games
- 17:07Speaker 5: all have a watch list. Imagine the gathering hats all
- 17:10Speaker 5: the time, especially when it came to like, for example,
- 17:13Speaker 5: Commander and so on. But now they're talking about adding
- 17:17Speaker 5: stuff to the watch list.
- 17:18Speaker 7: It makes you think.
- 17:19Speaker 5: It makes me think that it's becoming a public list,
- 17:23Speaker 5: so people know what the company is looking at.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Is that a thing? Though?
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's great because now we get to know what they're
- 17:32Speaker 3: looking at, specifically that might get eratus in the future,
- 17:35Speaker 3: so we don't invest all in on uniques and then
- 17:39Speaker 3: lose all our money.
- 17:40Speaker 6: Yep, what Dexter said, it's there really should be no
- 17:45Speaker 6: way to complain about this because it's just giving people
- 17:49Speaker 6: more information and more heads up, and it's kind of
- 17:53Speaker 6: a direct response to how people reacted when robin Hood
- 17:58Speaker 6: was eroted. And to Felix's point, whether they tell us
- 18:03Speaker 6: or not, there's always going to be like an a
- 18:06Speaker 6: turn internal watch list of like cards that the game
- 18:11Speaker 6: developers are like, ooh, this one's looking a little too
- 18:14Speaker 6: much that.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Exists before the set even comes out. Mm hmm.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I can't disagree with you.
- 18:23Speaker 5: They already mentioned that before, Like for example, with Wauru,
- 18:27Speaker 5: they mentioned that they were afraid of what is going
- 18:29Speaker 5: to happen in a couple of sets ahead if I
- 18:32Speaker 5: remember way back when they eroded him, so that already
- 18:35Speaker 5: gave it an idea that it already existed, which makes sense, all.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Right, So here's my issue. We're it's becoming. It just
- 18:45Speaker 2: seems like there's a lot of lists right like we
- 18:50Speaker 2: have are like banned and restricted lists now too. I mean,
- 18:56Speaker 2: and I agree, I'm not disagreeing with you at all, Felix,
- 18:59Speaker 2: like the watch, I'd not always been a thing, right,
- 19:03Speaker 2: and like if you're in the scene, you kind of
- 19:05Speaker 2: just knew, like, oh yeah, see that's my thing with
- 19:08Speaker 2: robin Hood. Like I don't know, maybe this is a
- 19:10Speaker 2: lot of people's first time into like a competitive card game,
- 19:14Speaker 2: but at the same time like well, but at the
- 19:17Speaker 2: same time, it's like so for those of us who
- 19:19Speaker 2: have been around for a while, we're like, yeah, like
- 19:23Speaker 2: I saw a mile away that something was gonna happen
- 19:27Speaker 2: to robin Hood and it was gonna be a huge
- 19:29Speaker 2: sway I know Z. And then we're talking like, oh,
- 19:33Speaker 2: like they're just gonna do this little thing. It's like, no,
- 19:35Speaker 2: they're gonna sway it big time, because whenever a card
- 19:39Speaker 2: becomes that disruptive and that meta changing and that game breaking,
- 19:44Speaker 2: almost every time in card games, they completely swing it
- 19:48Speaker 2: the other direction and it's full and it's on purpose.
- 19:53Speaker 6: Yeah, So you're telling me you didn't go out and
- 19:56Speaker 6: spend eight hundred dollars on a robin Hood unique few
- 20:00Speaker 6: days before they announced the.
- 20:04Speaker 2: No, I did not, because he even did. Well, I
- 20:10Speaker 2: don't understand that, because even Stevie Wonder saw that shit coming.
- 20:14Speaker 6: Yeah, so this list is for those people who did
- 20:17Speaker 6: things like that and then complained. Honestly, a lot of
- 20:22Speaker 6: this stuff, like especially if you're a casual player, doesn't
- 20:27Speaker 6: really matter for the most part, besides the fact that
- 20:31Speaker 6: some cards that you have in paper maybe changed when
- 20:35Speaker 6: you sit down to play, but either one one of
- 20:39Speaker 6: two things happens, you casually still play it the old
- 20:43Speaker 6: way and nobody cares, or someone tells you, hey, that
- 20:47Speaker 6: card's been changed, and then you play it the new way.
- 20:51Speaker 4: It's not a huge deal.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And then your days are ruined. Maybe yes, I mean,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I don't know, but like, it just seems like there's
- 20:59Speaker 2: a lot of lists coming out, and it's like.
- 21:03Speaker 5: We have the band list, we have the suspension list,
- 21:05Speaker 5: we had the watch list. I'm not sure, but narrata
- 21:09Speaker 5: it can be considered a list, but they do exist.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It just seems like there's a lot going on, and
- 21:15Speaker 2: it's like, uh.
- 21:17Speaker 5: You get players list in the future.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure.
- 21:20Speaker 5: I'm pokemon in other card games too, Oh.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I'm sure. Yeah. I mean, every every competitive TCG will
- 21:27Speaker 2: eventually have a banned players list. I think that goes
- 21:30Speaker 2: on st Wars.
- 21:31Speaker 6: Star Wars just started working on theirs, so.
- 21:36Speaker 5: There's also that, and if their alternating formats becomes a thing,
- 21:42Speaker 5: they could have a list too.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it just seems like there's a lot going on.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And my fear whenever a card game becomes very list
- 21:52Speaker 2: heavy right where it's like oh this this, that, this, that,
- 21:55Speaker 2: this that, and there becomes too much going on in
- 21:58Speaker 2: the background, it's not a good sign.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It's nowhere near Digimon yet, So it's fine.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I have no idea about Digimon. Is digitmon in a
- 22:08Speaker 2: bad stuff? But yeah, oh boy, you know you know
- 22:11Speaker 2: what I go in there.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:13Speaker 6: So part of this is people were complaining that Altered
- 22:17Speaker 6: has already changed too many cards too quickly, which.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Is fun and that's kind of how I feel. It
- 22:23Speaker 2: is like we've changed a lot and we're not even
- 22:26Speaker 2: out a year one.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Yet, which is funny because the other side is people
- 22:31Speaker 6: saying they didn't change enough fast enough. So there's like
- 22:35Speaker 6: a split here. But I compared a rock because people
- 22:39Speaker 6: were trying to tell me like, this doesn't happen in
- 22:41Speaker 6: tcg's very often, and I was like, I know you're wrong,
- 22:45Speaker 6: and I pulled up reference like Erata lists, Digimon's is
- 22:50Speaker 6: literally like the school bar is like a fifth of
- 22:55Speaker 6: the size that you see on this uh this article, right,
- 23:01Speaker 6: Yugos is actually pretty good, but I've heard it's not
- 23:04Speaker 6: the full one. And then just every every game has them,
- 23:07Speaker 6: and it maybe even would blow your mind to know
- 23:10Speaker 6: that Altered has way more than you even know about.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I mean, I wouldn't, would I not really.
- 23:18Speaker 5: I think it's a problem with something like Digimo for example.
- 23:21Speaker 5: It's a non rotating game, so that rad list is
- 23:25Speaker 5: going to stay big and it's just gonna get bigger.
- 23:28Speaker 5: But when you have games like for example, Pokemon that
- 23:31Speaker 5: have an actual rotating format and they're actually not currently
- 23:35Speaker 5: supporting the older formats, the eretum doesn't matter at that point.
- 23:40Speaker 7: It only matters to the specific standard format.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 6: Yeah, but you don't understand Felix. Other TCGs don't ever
- 23:48Speaker 6: do this, even though there's been TCGs that have erotted
- 23:51Speaker 6: a card before it even came out.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Well, I think we're saying it's like I think it's
- 23:55Speaker 2: it's I don't think they're saying it doesn't happen, but
- 23:58Speaker 2: I can I can they Okay, well, not you specifically,
- 24:03Speaker 2: but people like I feel like this is a lot
- 24:06Speaker 2: very quickly. Yeah, and that's just a feel, you know.
- 24:11Speaker 8: I think the fact that the Liz exists now is
- 24:15Speaker 8: good because if it becomes a norm now later during
- 24:20Speaker 8: during the lifespan of the game, everybody knows that it
- 24:24Speaker 8: exists and we have the app, but it also.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Can be used. I feel like them like, oh, like
- 24:32Speaker 2: here's what we're watching out for. Players can just be like, oh,
- 24:36Speaker 2: don't use that card so much because they're gonna ride
- 24:39Speaker 2: it and we want to stick around. Which I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Maybe that's a good or a bad thing. I'm not that.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I'm not one hundred percent sure.
- 24:47Speaker 5: I think it's more of a good thing than a
- 24:48Speaker 5: bad thing because it lets a meta shifts in so
- 24:52Speaker 5: many ways. Right now we're seeing, for example, well it's
- 24:57Speaker 5: getting ahead. I think the way for the later for
- 24:59Speaker 5: the art to go back to circle back to this
- 25:02Speaker 5: because the wash list is at.
- 25:03Speaker 2: The bottom, all right, so should we go through the
- 25:06Speaker 2: updates on the current suspension list? Uh? Yeah, I was
- 25:13Speaker 2: like not everybody at once.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, I gave you guys the heads up that
- 25:19Speaker 6: I'm going to try not to talk as much because
- 25:21Speaker 6: my mouth really hurts.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I was going to say, are you getting a lot
- 25:23Speaker 2: of complaints? Like cool talks too much, Like I've never
- 25:26Speaker 2: heard that I have.
- 25:28Speaker 6: I have a very fun issue with chronic canker sores,
- 25:32Speaker 6: and my mouth is all fucked up right now, so.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That sounds like fun.
- 25:37Speaker 6: You just need dexter to take my position.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Let's go dex star everything, red Shirt and I jump
- 25:42Speaker 2: on that landmine.
- 25:45Speaker 3: What do I need to do?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, we're doomed. We're doomed.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I wasn't paying.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Podcasting in the john.
- 25:57Speaker 7: He was playing Keyborg.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Oh jeez, all right. The following changes are effective starting
- 26:02Speaker 2: March twenty first, twenty twenty five on board game arena
- 26:05Speaker 2: and in store and competitive play. The website will be
- 26:09Speaker 2: updated to reflect these changes shortly. Players may still use
- 26:12Speaker 2: pre orta versions of the card, providing they discloded any
- 26:14Speaker 2: changes to their opponent and allow them to access the
- 26:17Speaker 2: relevant information by scanning the card. Ozma has been erotted
- 26:22Speaker 2: originally played from anywhere. If you control three or more
- 26:26Speaker 2: other characters, you draw a card and has been erotted too.
- 26:30Speaker 2: If you control three or more other characters, resupply. Okay,
- 26:35Speaker 2: this is the common version. I should I should probably
- 26:37Speaker 2: reference that.
- 26:39Speaker 6: Yeah, the rare's the exact same. It just has the
- 26:42Speaker 6: stat bump.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah too, where's the stat bump?
- 26:51Speaker 7: More water?
- 26:51Speaker 6: Yeah, So this one seemed kind of weird on the
- 26:56Speaker 6: outside for me, and I was like, I could see
- 26:59Speaker 6: how it's maybe still good because it's really easy and
- 27:04Speaker 6: it doesn't say non token characters, so it also counts tokens.
- 27:10Speaker 6: So why I asked Blue Infamous Artis Player if it's
- 27:17Speaker 6: still a good card and ortis to him and he said, yeah,
- 27:20Speaker 6: like the common is absolutely still a run, especially Customertist
- 27:24Speaker 6: doesn't really have resupply options, and it's just yeah, it's
- 27:29Speaker 6: it's still a good card.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I think this is still very good. Resupply does
- 27:35Speaker 3: seem kind of weird in Ortist, just because it doesn't
- 27:38Speaker 3: have anything else there and it seems like out of
- 27:41Speaker 3: place thematically. But I think it's a pretty solid erata
- 27:45Speaker 3: like strength wise, and I think pretty much all order
- 27:49Speaker 3: sex will run it. But it is definitely weaker than
- 27:51Speaker 3: the old version. I think they could have made it
- 27:54Speaker 3: a little bit weaker, but this is fine in my opinion.
- 27:58Speaker 5: I think it opens a couple of things, so before
- 28:02Speaker 5: you be able to draw a card, you get a
- 28:04Speaker 5: double use of something. Now it's a resupply, which means
- 28:09Speaker 5: once you play her, you're opponent guests to see what
- 28:11Speaker 5: you resupply, so it can get sabotage, so you lose
- 28:14Speaker 5: it completely. At the same time, it's an extra card
- 28:17Speaker 5: you're gonna have at dusk, so you're gonna have to
- 28:20Speaker 5: discard extra cards. But it does open an avenue that
- 28:23Speaker 5: if you run rorety random cards and supportabilities, it does
- 28:27Speaker 5: give you those supportabilities too.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yep, all right.
- 28:32Speaker 2: So in our last season patch, we suspended Ozma because
- 28:35Speaker 2: it provided easy access to card advantage and order strategies
- 28:39Speaker 2: a lot on the creation of a very low curve
- 28:41Speaker 2: decks with significant trade offs. It's manocost of two being
- 28:45Speaker 2: able to draw card twice was simply too powerful. Uh.
- 28:50Speaker 2: When working on Osma Rodom, we aim to maintain its
- 28:53Speaker 2: core identity of providing card advantage while adjusting its power
- 28:58Speaker 2: level with minimal changes. For OSMA, that meant keeping the
- 29:01Speaker 2: ordest identity of requiring three or more characters. We aim
- 29:05Speaker 2: to limit changes to just one aspect of the card,
- 29:07Speaker 2: whether it's manocost stats or effect. By replacing draw card
- 29:11Speaker 2: with resupply, we maintain access to card advantage, but at
- 29:15Speaker 2: a significantly reduced power level. Resupply also requires player to
- 29:18Speaker 2: be more strategic in managing the reserve to avoid discarding
- 29:22Speaker 2: excess cards at night. Bam, all right, the bastion back again.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I see, just can't get rid of this Haven bastion,
- 29:32Speaker 2: can we? So the old version was the landmark resupply
- 29:37Speaker 2: your characters have when played Was that played from me?
- 29:42Speaker 2: I can't see this.
- 29:44Speaker 7: The characters have when played from reserve a.
- 29:46Speaker 5: Gain a boost.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't see it on my screen. I have
- 29:49Speaker 2: two new monitors, which are awesome. I'm still getting used
- 29:52Speaker 2: to the resolution to resupply. The next character you play
- 29:59Speaker 2: from reserve us turn gains one boost. So Haven was
- 30:04Speaker 2: one of the most powerful rares and beyond it, I
- 30:06Speaker 2: feel bad for Axiom, like they didn't have shit. Never mind,
- 30:12Speaker 2: it was one of the most powerful rare cards would
- 30:14Speaker 2: beyond the gate. It provided both early game advantage of
- 30:16Speaker 2: resupply and exponential late game power with when combined with
- 30:21Speaker 2: characters that are cheap form of the reserve. While we
- 30:25Speaker 2: like Hayman as a build around card, we didn't like
- 30:28Speaker 2: how forced players playing against it to discard it with
- 30:31Speaker 2: removal to stand a chance. We believe that the updated
- 30:35Speaker 2: version of Haven will still be a strong tool for
- 30:38Speaker 2: Axiom reserve strategies in early to mid game, but its
- 30:41Speaker 2: late game impact will be much less overwhelming with the
- 30:45Speaker 2: introduction of more reserve interaction via card exhaust, exhaustion and
- 30:50Speaker 2: trial by Frost. We think they are now a variety
- 30:53Speaker 2: of answers to manage these kinds of strategies, and they
- 30:56Speaker 2: show now they should now find a healthy place in
- 30:59Speaker 2: the metagame. I feel bad for Axiom because like they
- 31:02Speaker 2: didn't really have much going for them but the Haven, yep,
- 31:06Speaker 2: and then they are rotted the Haven.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I think the Haven's still good and it's playable in
- 31:12Speaker 3: most trades. I think it fits in some subash decks
- 31:16Speaker 3: as well, but it's definitely weaker than it was before.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I think they should have made it a little bit
- 31:23Speaker 3: stronger than this. This seems a little bit underwhelming. Like
- 31:28Speaker 3: it still works, it's going to give you the resupply
- 31:30Speaker 3: and then you you'll get a few boosts from it,
- 31:33Speaker 3: but it's very on curve now, which is I guess good,
- 31:38Speaker 3: but it makes it hard for trace to work still.
- 31:42Speaker 2: All right, more cards.
- 31:45Speaker 6: That's all you guys are gonna say about the Haven.
- 31:49Speaker 3: That's curious.
- 31:51Speaker 6: It's one of the best permanence in the game.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Still, I think it is still good, but it's now
- 31:59Speaker 3: like so it's not crazy anymore. For sure. This is
- 32:06Speaker 3: the card pool that Axiom has. I still don't know
- 32:09Speaker 3: if it's gonna be great.
- 32:12Speaker 4: I've already lost to it.
- 32:13Speaker 6: I'll just tell you that.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Do you think it's this net, This new Haven Axiom
- 32:19Speaker 3: bastion is better than the rare Bravos bastion.
- 32:24Speaker 7: Uh?
- 32:24Speaker 4: Yes, because of.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to tap it. You only get one
- 32:31Speaker 3: per day.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Unless next set they get untapping capabilities. Could be cool.
- 32:39Speaker 5: It exists for reserve already some was looking it was
- 32:41Speaker 5: possible for permanence.
- 32:44Speaker 2: But I don't think there's any permanent.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:51Speaker 6: So the reason that this is still so strong is
- 32:54Speaker 6: just because of the cost, and then the fact that
- 32:58Speaker 6: it has resupply from anywhere, and that Axiom has so
- 33:03Speaker 6: much interaction with that from anywhere symbol in general, there's
- 33:10Speaker 6: a huge chunk of cards that interact with it, and
- 33:14Speaker 6: if you think about it, it's basically a tasia ability
- 33:18Speaker 6: on a stick. But then add resupply and also add
- 33:22Speaker 6: that it's a.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Permanent it does have to come from reserve when you
- 33:26Speaker 3: play it. So in that way, it's weaker than Keelon's cylinder.
- 33:31Speaker 4: I mean technically in just that regard.
- 33:35Speaker 6: But I have already played against a trace with it,
- 33:39Speaker 6: and they did just fine using it, and the game
- 33:44Speaker 6: was not super close. I think they won by like
- 33:47Speaker 6: two or three advances.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Well, what were you playing, Muna?
- 33:53Speaker 4: I was playing an actual meta Muna.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I was gonna say, is this a meta Muna beld
- 33:59Speaker 2: or is this Cole Robbie's group Hogmona build.
- 34:04Speaker 6: I think it's still better than Kellen cylinder, but that's
- 34:08Speaker 6: that's just me.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Yes, I do think it is better than Keylan cylinder
- 34:12Speaker 3: for sure, and it is still a good permanent but
- 34:14Speaker 3: it is now no longer game breaking, yep, and it is.
- 34:19Speaker 3: It's good. I'll give it that.
- 34:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 6: The thing with Axiom, and the thing with Aratus in general,
- 34:26Speaker 6: is hyper competitive. People don't want to most often spend
- 34:31Speaker 6: the time toiling and figuring out a new build. They'll
- 34:35Speaker 6: just hop onto the next proven thing so they can
- 34:38Speaker 6: continue to win. And I think that is exactly what
- 34:42Speaker 6: we have seen with Waru and then traced with this.
- 34:47Speaker 6: I think we'll see some trats come back, but I
- 34:50Speaker 6: still hold that Axiom can be very good. It just
- 34:54Speaker 6: takes a lot more work in thought, so most people
- 34:58Speaker 6: don't spend the time on it.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Hmm, this is true. Oh it's hard to build. People
- 35:06Speaker 3: don't want to build it.
- 35:07Speaker 2: If it's not hard to build, if it can't be consistent,
- 35:10Speaker 2: people don't want to play it. It's a consistency thing.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But let's move to Foundry Armorer, all Bravos Unique, Jellyfish
- 35:19Speaker 2: all uniques. Yeah, and Garrick this is done so weird.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I want to know. Well, maybe it's different in French
- 35:27Speaker 2: because it's jelly Okay, so it's Foundry Armorer Comma all
- 35:31Speaker 2: Bravos Uniques, Comma Jellyfish all uniques, and GARRICKT Commas. Never mind,
- 35:36Speaker 2: GARRICKT is reserved dualist. Just looks funny when I look
- 35:40Speaker 2: at it, because it should be like, this should be
- 35:41Speaker 2: a thing, but it's not. Go look at the article
- 35:45Speaker 2: and see if your grammar nerd comes out in you minded.
- 35:50Speaker 2: We've found the errata for most of the unique cards
- 35:52Speaker 2: currently suspended, Foundry Armor and GARRICKT Revered Dualists. Moonlight Jellyfish
- 35:58Speaker 2: is still being worked on. We are now early testing
- 36:00Speaker 2: the errata to ensure the integration into upcoming sets and
- 36:04Speaker 2: their proper deployment on our digital platform. Foundry Armor all
- 36:08Speaker 2: Bravas uniques, Moonlight, Jellyfish all uniques both factions, and Garrick
- 36:12Speaker 2: Revere Dualist all uniques both factions are still suspended. These
- 36:18Speaker 2: are all cards that, like, are not boosted, but triggered
- 36:22Speaker 2: in themselves, right.
- 36:25Speaker 6: If I remember, Yeah, these ones were ones that had
- 36:29Speaker 6: potential for loops like infinite or infinite loops.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Yeah, alright, sorry, Felix, you still have to wait longer.
- 36:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I can't wait to play three Garricks. I'm still waiting.
- 36:41Speaker 2: All right. Let's go through the watch list, and I
- 36:45Speaker 2: already see a card that pisses me off. I'm already angry.
- 36:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna flip my desk. I don't know if it
- 36:52Speaker 2: can be flipped with the way it's set up, but
- 36:54Speaker 2: I might flip it. First card up, Small Stop Giant Leap.
- 36:58Speaker 2: This is Cole Robbie's doing, and I will never forgive
- 37:02Speaker 2: him ever. Small Step Giant Leap is a powerful card
- 37:06Speaker 2: in the metagame, warping a lot of Yizmir decks around
- 37:09Speaker 2: the ability to close out the game in a trivial manner.
- 37:12Speaker 2: On the last day. It's an iconic card and ability,
- 37:15Speaker 2: but it is frustrating to play against due to the
- 37:17Speaker 2: lack of interaction. Furthermore, small Step proves to be very
- 37:21Speaker 2: prominent and on fun in our two v two game mode.
- 37:25Speaker 2: We also believe that small Step plays a key part
- 37:27Speaker 2: in a funest current performance. Combined with the non interactive
- 37:32Speaker 2: gameplay experience it can create, We've decided to add the
- 37:35Speaker 2: card to the watch list.
- 37:37Speaker 3: This is bullshit, I'm what part do you think is bullshit?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Shut your dirty mouth, dexter.
- 37:44Speaker 3: What part of it do you think is bullshit?
- 37:46Speaker 2: The fact that I want to play it, so.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I agree that it should not be all versions. I
- 37:53Speaker 3: think the common Small Step Giant Leap is bad for
- 37:57Speaker 3: the game right now, and he's too good for specifically
- 38:01Speaker 3: a Fawness. I think the rare is not run in
- 38:05Speaker 3: really any a Fawna's decks, and it is not a
- 38:09Speaker 3: problem in Lyra, but the Common is a problem. I
- 38:13Speaker 3: would think that the Common should be watched and erouded
- 38:17Speaker 3: in some way, but the Rare should. The Rare should stay.
- 38:20Speaker 4: You know what.
- 38:21Speaker 6: I need you guys to hunker down and actually start
- 38:25Speaker 6: playing some altered In the next couple of weeks and
- 38:30Speaker 6: then you'll.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Do you think Finn is abusing giantly Bro.
- 38:35Speaker 6: The use of small Step in Lyra has increased a
- 38:38Speaker 6: lot over the last two weeks.
- 38:42Speaker 2: I can't say that he's wrong, so and then, and
- 38:47Speaker 2: the reason I can't say he's wrong is because I've
- 38:49Speaker 2: I might have added it to my fin I might
- 38:52Speaker 2: have added to my friend.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so Fenn.
- 38:55Speaker 6: What's interesting about the Lyra decks that use it is
- 38:59Speaker 6: the U usually.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Don't run three. No, I'll usually run like one or two.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, or yeah, I run one. But that's neither here
- 39:09Speaker 2: nor there.
- 39:10Speaker 6: The issue with small Step and altered is it doesn't
- 39:14Speaker 6: really fit in the type of gameplay because there's, like
- 39:20Speaker 6: it says, there's zero counterplay.
- 39:22Speaker 4: There's nothing you can do.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Unless you double issak or what's it called celebration.
- 39:30Speaker 6: Or celebration day, Yes, which doesn't really work. But it's
- 39:35Speaker 6: not like magic or something where you could counterspell or.
- 39:39Speaker 4: You could have a follow up.
- 39:42Speaker 6: I had the most amazing idea for small Step Giant Leap.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Are you ready for this? Sure ahead, So leave it
- 39:52Speaker 4: as is.
- 39:52Speaker 6: But change it to where it can only win the
- 39:56Speaker 6: game after all stats have been compared. Because I think,
- 40:03Speaker 6: I think.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Makes it not useful anymore.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Oh so you just want a free win for no reason?
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yes, yes I do.
- 40:11Speaker 3: That's the point of the car.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I dealt with this bullshit for like a year, I want.
- 40:19Speaker 6: It was only like three months, Wookie, Well what I
- 40:22Speaker 6: got right of robin Hood too, So now small step
- 40:25Speaker 6: can go.
- 40:26Speaker 4: It's had much longer I want.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I want my free wins, free wins and a faction
- 40:31Speaker 2: I enjoy playing.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Well, you better start playing then.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Ah, this hurts my heart, but I understood. It's one
- 40:39Speaker 2: of those things where I understand it. Fine. The next
- 40:43Speaker 2: card I feel again feel a little targeted by I'm
- 40:46Speaker 2: not gonna lie tot it, Buddy, Helping Hand, he is
- 40:50Speaker 2: a mere watch list or it's the rare. He is
- 40:52Speaker 2: mere rare. Helping Hand is a very powerful spell and
- 40:56Speaker 2: a fatto stacks the cost of one manna. It gives
- 41:00Speaker 2: players and after you to boost on a character and
- 41:03Speaker 2: the ability to remove fleeting. While it proves powerful with
- 41:07Speaker 2: seasoned characters, as observed in Bravos Decks, Helping Hands also
- 41:12Speaker 2: synergizes with Khadigurion Mage Dancer in Yazmir Decks Drawing cards
- 41:19Speaker 2: with its rare variant and offering even more card advantage
- 41:23Speaker 2: with its unique variant. I don't have a unique variant,
- 41:27Speaker 2: shocker right now. The card also allows a fondness players
- 41:30Speaker 2: to continually replay powerful uniques over multiple turns. This is
- 41:36Speaker 2: further enhanced by the ability to return a spell from
- 41:39Speaker 2: your reserve to your hand that is present on a
- 41:42Speaker 2: variety of yazmirniques. This ability allows a player to loop
- 41:46Speaker 2: helping hands and the unique, creating a gameplay pattern that
- 41:50Speaker 2: can be frustrating and hard to interact with.
- 41:56Speaker 6: Yeah, this card is just too good, and if you
- 41:58Speaker 6: want to blame anyone for this one, you blame the
- 42:01Speaker 6: people that purposely found ways to make it so that
- 42:06Speaker 6: they can load twenty five cards in their reserve and
- 42:10Speaker 6: just keep playing through them using things like this, so
- 42:15Speaker 6: you can blame them.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Twenty five cards in reserve?
- 42:19Speaker 2: How is that not quite twenty five? He's being a
- 42:22Speaker 2: little dramatic there.
- 42:24Speaker 4: I wish I was.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Unless unless you've seen it, then.
- 42:27Speaker 4: I have seen. I have seen.
- 42:30Speaker 3: I've seen five before. Twenty five is stretching it.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Oh, I wonder if I could find it.
- 42:35Speaker 2: There must have better uniques than me, That's what I
- 42:38Speaker 2: can say about you.
- 42:40Speaker 6: Yep, it was a newer archetype that popped up in
- 42:45Speaker 6: the last month, and the reserve would literally go off
- 42:49Speaker 6: the screen and the players playing it could almost not
- 42:53Speaker 6: even click to find what card they needed. But they
- 42:56Speaker 6: just needed to find the right ones to cycle through.
- 43:00Speaker 6: I think a rac found a way to do it
- 43:03Speaker 6: as well.
- 43:07Speaker 3: You get that much card draw.
- 43:09Speaker 2: There's ways I've never seen twenty five. I've been up
- 43:15Speaker 2: to seven.
- 43:16Speaker 3: All of their uniques have like after you play a
- 43:18Speaker 3: card resupply or something like that.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Well, there's things like that, and then there's when you
- 43:24Speaker 6: play a spell resupply. You gotta think there's a lot
- 43:28Speaker 6: of discount. Yeah. So if I can find a picture
- 43:36Speaker 6: of one of the ones where I can find one
- 43:38Speaker 6: of the decks and find the player, I will send
- 43:40Speaker 6: you a picture.
- 43:42Speaker 2: That's cool, all right? More is Mere Hate actually almost
- 43:48Speaker 2: all the cards on the watchlister? He is Mair Actually
- 43:51Speaker 2: all the cards on the watchlister?
- 43:52Speaker 3: Yes, not all of them. Which one isn't the Bobby Yaga.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Out of faction? Yeah? Okay, scroll down, got it all right?
- 44:05Speaker 5: Attorney Also yeah, ironically, isn't Derek's originally ISMIR and Attorneys
- 44:11Speaker 5: and auto faction.
- 44:12Speaker 3: And it is out of faction into y Ismir. Yep,
- 44:16Speaker 3: they are now realizing that Ortis and Yusmir are overpowered.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Can't I have anything nice? I guess the answer is no.
- 44:25Speaker 2: But kidd kid geararn kid geiron Maje Dancer, especially in
- 44:34Speaker 2: its rare form, is a versatile offering stats, card advantage
- 44:38Speaker 2: and priority passing at low costs. Combined with the funess
- 44:42Speaker 2: and helping hands, even in its common version, can repeatedly
- 44:45Speaker 2: output huge amounts of stats at low mana cost. This
- 44:51Speaker 2: is true.
- 44:52Speaker 3: It's a good card helping hand in category and mage
- 44:54Speaker 3: Dancer definitely make a faunessing and get way too much debts.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I feel them feel like you can get rid of
- 45:01Speaker 2: one of the well.
- 45:02Speaker 7: Let's probably helping him.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I was going to say, it's going to end up
- 45:07Speaker 2: getting rid of the really.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Cheap a lot of a lot of cards, and is
- 45:12Speaker 5: the return cards from reserve to the hand and uniques
- 45:15Speaker 5: come by with helping him is pretty absurd.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Don't say that they listen.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Honestly, I think I'm kind of surprised that they didn't
- 45:25Speaker 3: put off you go on this watch list too, Dexter.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Don't give them any more ideas. What are you doing?
- 45:32Speaker 6: I think because Off You Go is basically a card
- 45:35Speaker 6: that without some of these other interactions you can really
- 45:40Speaker 6: only use once effectively, kind of like Beauty Sleep.
- 45:46Speaker 2: But not in r because you can get if.
- 45:50Speaker 3: They have flamel and all the uniques that return ship.
- 45:54Speaker 2: That's exactly what I just said, though oh okay, I
- 45:58Speaker 2: must have missed that, because.
- 46:00Speaker 6: On paper it's weighted to only be really played effectively
- 46:06Speaker 6: on the front end. So it's all these other interactions
- 46:10Speaker 6: of picking up spells, drawing cards, things like that that
- 46:14Speaker 6: make it easier to play.
- 46:16Speaker 5: I think that's when I want to sealed one time
- 46:20Speaker 5: playing Ismir and Lyayra because I can use the Oro
- 46:22Speaker 5: boos incaster with the helping hand. It was the exact
- 46:26Speaker 5: same loop, yep.
- 46:28Speaker 6: Because if you think about it, the mage dancer Rare
- 46:32Speaker 6: also draws you a card. Yes, and if you're keeping
- 46:36Speaker 6: out characters longer boosting them up from playing the spell
- 46:42Speaker 6: things like the drawing cards returning cards, it's a lot
- 46:49Speaker 6: easier to not have to pay the four on the
- 46:53Speaker 6: back end for Off you Go, when on paper.
- 46:57Speaker 4: It should be like Beauty Sleep.
- 46:59Speaker 6: Where you really you only play it from hand and
- 47:01Speaker 6: then get rid of it.
- 47:06Speaker 2: All right, Well, my Nightmare ends After this, Bobby Yatta
- 47:12Speaker 2: Ortists out of faction and Orders Attorney rare. Despite Osma's suspension,
- 47:18Speaker 2: Siga smart decks are still able to play a very
- 47:21Speaker 2: low curve thanks to powerful draw engines such as Bobby
- 47:25Speaker 2: Yaga and Orders Attorney. While these cards are less powerful
- 47:29Speaker 2: than Ozma was, they still display high wind rates and
- 47:33Speaker 2: are included in almost all ordered artist decks, narrowing down
- 47:38Speaker 2: deck building strategies. Yes, I mean that I can't disagree
- 47:44Speaker 2: with I actually can't disagree with any of these. It
- 47:46Speaker 2: just hurts my feelings a little bit.
- 47:49Speaker 5: I talk to them more about but Yaga than Order's Attorney, ironically,
- 47:54Speaker 5: I mean Orders.
- 47:57Speaker 3: I don't think Orders Attorney is that good.
- 47:59Speaker 2: It's been there since. I mean it's been a staple
- 48:01Speaker 2: since the beginning. Maybe not the rare version, the rare version.
- 48:08Speaker 6: I think these two, honestly, I could see not getting
- 48:13Speaker 6: a change, because that's another point of the watch list
- 48:15Speaker 6: that they call out, is it could mean nothing.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Mm hmm. While yeah, I don't know. I think.
- 48:27Speaker 6: If you're not able to pick up Baba Yaga a ton,
- 48:32Speaker 6: I think she's a fine card on paper. And then
- 48:37Speaker 6: Ortist Attorney, I think for the most part is fine.
- 48:44Speaker 4: I don't think it's too strong.
- 48:49Speaker 2: I just get a little upset. It's just like I
- 48:51Speaker 2: keep reading and it's like fun, you like fun, have
- 48:54Speaker 2: none of it. We're suspending them all. But I have
- 48:57Speaker 2: to calm down. I'll sit back down.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I think this is great.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Eight I'll sit back down on myself anymore. Or you're
- 49:05Speaker 2: not playing mr either, actually playing? Are you playing Moon
- 49:10Speaker 2: and Out as? Yes, you've joined the dark side of
- 49:13Speaker 2: No Fun? Huh?
- 49:15Speaker 3: That was that no Fun?
- 49:17Speaker 2: I don't know. I've never played. I've never played.
- 49:26Speaker 4: It's the humble faction for the humble man.
- 49:30Speaker 5: That is true.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Oh man, it's less Yeah, yeah, that's the thing. I mean,
- 49:36Speaker 2: I still play fun, So that's the thing. So I
- 49:41Speaker 2: got hit kind of twice. At least I feel I
- 49:44Speaker 2: feel hit kind of twice.
- 49:45Speaker 3: How did you get hit twice?
- 49:49Speaker 2: Because of the ones on the Small Step? Yeah, it's
- 49:52Speaker 2: the Small Step hits. My HiT's my Lyra deck and
- 49:57Speaker 2: then an E. They're like, hey, did you like did
- 49:58Speaker 2: you like? Did you have fun? Over in R We're
- 50:01Speaker 2: getting rid of all of it, Like I really that's
- 50:05Speaker 2: how I feel right now. They're like, oh God, did
- 50:10Speaker 2: you buy a whole bunch of yusmeer stuff. Oh oh yeah,
- 50:14Speaker 2: we're getting rid of all of it now. I don't
- 50:16Speaker 2: regret my purchase because like I didn't go buy any
- 50:19Speaker 2: like crazy uniques or anything, you know. But it's one
- 50:23Speaker 2: of those things where it's like, man, just built this deck,
- 50:26Speaker 2: son of a bit.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a good thing that they're not getting rid
- 50:29Speaker 6: of anything.
- 50:31Speaker 3: He just still play with him for a while.
- 50:34Speaker 2: This is just a watch list, just to watch.
- 50:38Speaker 6: I think Maje Dancer just removed the draw card from
- 50:42Speaker 6: a rare helping hand.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Maybe bump up the.
- 50:45Speaker 6: Cost or just remove the fact that it removes what's.
- 50:52Speaker 2: What's what's even crazier, it's like I haven't even received
- 50:55Speaker 2: these in the mail yet, that's what's not about. I
- 50:58Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I really like this, I'm gonna buy it,
- 51:02Speaker 2: And so I bought it, you know, and again like
- 51:04Speaker 2: literally like the bulk of a majority of altered decks,
- 51:09Speaker 2: they're not I think it was like fifty seven sixty bucks,
- 51:13Speaker 2: we'll call it. So it wasn't like, oh my god,
- 51:16Speaker 2: my day, my life is ruined. But it was kind
- 51:19Speaker 2: of like, man, I just bought. I just bought all
- 51:21Speaker 2: these and they haven't even something to my house yet,
- 51:24Speaker 2: and they're looking at just ruining my life, Like, what
- 51:27Speaker 2: the hell?
- 51:28Speaker 6: At least you didn't buy three key Forge decks that
- 51:31Speaker 6: are all shit.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I dude, you're I can't even explain you, Like that's
- 51:38Speaker 2: just bananas to me.
- 51:39Speaker 3: That does not make sense.
- 51:41Speaker 2: And you even bought the good set and it's you
- 51:43Speaker 2: want to know, it's funny. I bought one key Forge
- 51:46Speaker 2: deck this week, right to play in my local sealed.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Let me go find it. You want to know what
- 51:53Speaker 2: it's It's up higher? Oh god, ninety two?
- 52:03Speaker 3: Nice. I was just good.
- 52:05Speaker 2: It doesn't think I'll shore. I'll share it with you afterwards,
- 52:11Speaker 2: but it's just And then I'm like, how does coal?
- 52:14Speaker 3: How does cold and sixties every time?
- 52:19Speaker 2: And not only that, like he doesn't even get like
- 52:21Speaker 2: the fun houses. He got all the trash houses and
- 52:25Speaker 2: three decks. It made no sense to me.
- 52:28Speaker 6: Yeah, that's just my life. The uniques on the watch list, though,
- 52:33Speaker 6: are all the ones that you would.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Think uniques with repeated abilities. Some uniques have abilities that
- 52:39Speaker 2: are very easily to repeatably trigger. This isn't always an issue,
- 52:43Speaker 2: but some can lead to unhealthy gameplay matters. The ones
- 52:46Speaker 2: we've identified token producing uniques with and again it's just
- 52:51Speaker 2: it's the same thing. They're just easily repeatable multi anchoring
- 52:55Speaker 2: and resupply loop. These uniques combined with cheap cars to
- 53:00Speaker 2: create insurmountable amount of statistics cards played or card advantage.
- 53:05Speaker 2: This isn't fun to play against, and therefore these cards
- 53:09Speaker 2: are added to the watch list.
- 53:11Speaker 6: I think anchoring is definitely hitting astray here.
- 53:16Speaker 4: I don't think it's anywhere.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Near Nope, Nope, Your little Moona boys are getting hit too.
- 53:23Speaker 6: I mean I won't because I don't have uniques that
- 53:27Speaker 6: are this good. So it's it's they're a lot more
- 53:33Speaker 6: rare and it's very uh infrequent that you see them
- 53:41Speaker 6: be like out of control, whereas token uniques and resupplying
- 53:49Speaker 6: loop uniques can be insane and you're way more likely
- 53:53Speaker 6: to come up against, especially token producing. But the people
- 54:00Speaker 6: that want to play the other side of the coin
- 54:03Speaker 6: complain about the anchor on the other side.
- 54:08Speaker 2: So let this be a lesson to all of you.
- 54:11Speaker 2: If you don't want cards you like to be added
- 54:14Speaker 2: to a watch list or band or something silly happen
- 54:16Speaker 2: to him. Just start with the shittiest faction and eventually
- 54:20Speaker 2: he'll work your way up.
- 54:23Speaker 5: You don't play them.
- 54:27Speaker 3: I exactly don't play and play the other factions where
- 54:30Speaker 3: you don't need to, you know, to.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Be fair, Yeah, to be fair. I I haven't really
- 54:35Speaker 2: gotten hit too hard in the Lyra yet, just just
- 54:38Speaker 2: the one thus far.
- 54:39Speaker 3: So you know, I got massacred with waru.
- 54:45Speaker 7: Uh that massacre murdered here.
- 54:49Speaker 2: That's what we call karma. Karma. I weird how you
- 54:56Speaker 2: misspoke that it's called karma. But that's really going to do.
- 55:03Speaker 5: I'm surprised helping hand never have fleeting to meet that car.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Screams itself, should have fleeting. Yeah, and costs more than one,
- 55:16Speaker 3: which one ridiculous helping hands Helping hands. But isn't that
- 55:21Speaker 3: like Zmeir's jam, like cheap spells that do a thing?
- 55:25Speaker 3: What a cheap spell that gives a boost, removes fleeting
- 55:28Speaker 3: and you get the fawnest trigger off of it, and
- 55:30Speaker 3: it costs one seems a little bit ridiculous.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Why because if you compare it to us, no no.
- 55:37Speaker 6: No, no, no, no stirefaction, I know why it does
- 55:40Speaker 6: give a boost.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I know why. I just don't, you know.
- 55:46Speaker 2: I like my cards to be meaty and do lots
- 55:50Speaker 2: of things and stuff. That's just me, Like, you don't
- 55:53Speaker 2: have to agree with me. I'm just a dude who
- 55:56Speaker 2: sits here and likes to play casually but build the
- 56:01Speaker 2: overpowered stuff. So that's all me. All right, let's go
- 56:07Speaker 2: Cole fails again? What'd you fail on?
- 56:12Speaker 6: I keep saying I'm gonna do like an intro lare
- 56:16Speaker 6: tid bit so oh but what I what I want
- 56:19Speaker 6: to do is I want to read it and I
- 56:21Speaker 6: want to summarize it, so we're not just reading a
- 56:23Speaker 6: big blong thing and I still haven't done it. I'm
- 56:27Speaker 6: blaming it on me not feeling amazing this week.
- 56:34Speaker 2: Perfectly, Okay.
- 56:35Speaker 4: I put in an aloe for you to read.
- 56:37Speaker 2: And I have had a bank audit all week, so
- 56:40Speaker 2: that's a fun thing to do. Yeah, that's where the
- 56:46Speaker 2: bank comes in because technically, because audit. Okay, So because
- 56:52Speaker 2: technically I am a financial institution, even though I'm not really,
- 56:58Speaker 2: I'm technically considered a financial institution. So I have to
- 57:03Speaker 2: go through these audits and it's a nice, big long
- 57:06Speaker 2: one and it's taken all week and I'm tired. But
- 57:10Speaker 2: let's talk about ali Vera. First off, it says, moisturize
- 57:14Speaker 2: every day. Moisturizing every day is a spent is essential
- 57:20Speaker 2: you In Spike, I tap into the bits of manna
- 57:23Speaker 2: he gathered along the way. Yeah, I know, buddy. Scanning
- 57:26Speaker 2: the surrounding areas, I spy a place where the terrain
- 57:29Speaker 2: might be a good fit. It's a little basin nested
- 57:32Speaker 2: in between large rocks and well placed to shelter us
- 57:35Speaker 2: from the wind. Then I imagine a natural pool surrounded
- 57:39Speaker 2: by a little waterfalls, with sulfur tinged water and nice temperature,
- 57:44Speaker 2: not too hot, not too cold. Drawing on the manna,
- 57:47Speaker 2: I materialize my illusion superimposed into the world with help
- 57:52Speaker 2: from the ski in the skiin I embedded it with
- 57:57Speaker 2: I beted it within reality so the Owensen will stick
- 58:02Speaker 2: around long enough for us to enjoy it. I let
- 58:05Speaker 2: out a long breath. Spike is already rushing to the
- 58:09Speaker 2: hot springs, being careful to avoid the snowbanks. He dives
- 58:12Speaker 2: in and does a cannonball before coming back to the
- 58:15Speaker 2: surface to splash around. I feel him tugging on our bond,
- 58:19Speaker 2: on my alteration's power. Such a kid. Of course, there's
- 58:23Speaker 2: still something missing here. I call little Vera from my
- 58:26Speaker 2: mind and the graceful plant appears not far from the pond.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Delighted to see her playmate again, she sinks her long,
- 58:36Speaker 2: slender legs into the steaming water, and Spike motions again
- 58:39Speaker 2: and again for her to join him. I watched him
- 58:42Speaker 2: play in the water like children while f fox settles
- 58:46Speaker 2: in around us as warm as cold temperatures collide. I
- 58:50Speaker 2: keep watching on the surroundings. The rocky terrain might be
- 58:53Speaker 2: harboring any number of unexpected dangers. Suddenly I notice Spike
- 58:57Speaker 2: has come up to me, pouting. He then implores me
- 59:01Speaker 2: with his eyes, Oh really, it's that important. He nods vigorously,
- 59:06Speaker 2: and I eventually give into his whims. Two ice teas
- 59:10Speaker 2: for two rascals. Our June is the narrator there.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Interesting to me that Spike would be swimming to cactus.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Cactuses don't need water, right, the whole point.
- 59:25Speaker 2: They need water, but they're just incredibly water efficient.
- 59:31Speaker 6: Yeah, Mike doesn't have to take in the water.
- 59:37Speaker 2: He might just like the heat too. He's a cactus
- 59:39Speaker 2: in a cold area. Yeah, don't you think he'd be like,
- 59:43Speaker 2: oh the heat? I like heat? Sure, right, That's how
- 59:48Speaker 2: I got it.
- 59:49Speaker 6: That is one of my favorite cards based on the art.
- 59:55Speaker 6: It is actually a pretty meta relevant card as well.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: If you've never seen the Alvera art, it's basically what
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: was described cute little ali Vera plant sitting on a
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: rock formation, sipping a nice tea, just chillaxing.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: The unique art is super pretty.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I don't know if I've ever seen an unique.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Aloes suck.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: Yeah, they'll lose the anchoring ability.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Does my unique?
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Let me look at mine.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna say I do not know. To be honest
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: with you.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Here, I'm gonna look through and see if I can
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: find any good alos.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: Did you guys notice when I posted all my uniques
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: to see about trading, I did not post any of
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: my mona ones. Yeah, I think I actually traded away
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: my aloe.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Did I give it to you, Felix? You did not.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: I don't know what I did with it, but that
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: means it wasn't very good.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Oh man, that's rough. But we go into our Patreon
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: questions today. If you were a card, what would your
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: ability be? Anybody want to already? What's your card? Garret?
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Okay, he loses fleeting, he can never gain fleeting.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: He just gets boosts.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: Keeping the same ability not changing anything.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: No, I just eat a zero statistic so I can
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: trigger everything.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Dexter, what's your card?
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: I have no idea, I have no idea what ability
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I would even want? What can I be a spell
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: to like kill the opponent's cards?
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Kill opponent's cards?
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Why do you want?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you murder them, remove them from the game, forever,
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: herds them.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: You're gonna create a new pile on the on the
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: playing board the deceased pile.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Discarding is not good enough. It must be removed from
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: the game entirely for.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: The rest of the game.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: HM Dexter is to Texas, he's just spreadit literally a glock.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Like like my My card type would also be it
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: would be a new card type. Mine straight up would
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: be a counter spell and I don't even I don't
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: even know like how that would be played. It would
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: have to create a new card type.
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: Probably be an orders card.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: That just says stop doing whatever your opponent's last thing was.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Or it could just be a straight up counter spell.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Tap two man, I just no counter your opponent's last spell.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Send it send it to, uh, send it to. I
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: think maybe just flat out getting rid of it might
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: be too much, So maybe like send it to reserve.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: That way it's playable. I mean, if it were me,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: it would be just yep, goes straight to the discard pile.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: I have a good day.
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: Yeah, I spell so it doesn't hit characters.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Well okay, you know counter your opponent's last character or spell.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: Then it doesn't hit permanence.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: We could add that in there. We can add that
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: in it.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: So I had an idea earlier, and I think it
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: would actually fit into.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: How Altered is played.
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: A two cost permanent that just eats a spell, so to.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Not Cole Robbie Cole Robbies would be like a one
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: cost one one one that gives one boost to everything
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: on the board. Card.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Yeah, this is this is not my card.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: This is just my idea for a version of a
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: version of counter spell in Altered. But basically, if you
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: put it out, it's two manna. If someone casts a
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: spell and you want to counter it, you tap it
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: and then it blocks the spell and goes to discard.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: See I imagine a col Robbie spell being something like
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a one cost one one one. Yeah, every all all
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: characters would play gain one boost. Each opponent draws one
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: card if you have one or more opponents draw card.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: This turn, you get to create a five five five
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: anchor dragon. Yeah, something like that.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: So I technically already exist on a card, but I
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: don't know where I have it. Citrus Frog made it well.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: I also recently made I think I actually made a
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: card of myself too, as a meme, but I don't
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: have it in my downloads anymore. I don't think if
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: I find it again, i'll post it in the discord.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: But I made a card that I would like to
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: see in Muna, and I feel like this actually is.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Fitting for me. So it's it's the bean stock. So
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: when I would get one boost, I gain.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: Two instead, and then from anywhere it gains anchored.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Okay, I was gonna say, I don't know if that
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: might be a touch broken. I'm not sure.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it seems pretty good. Throw some chirn and nurtures
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: and sews. It's lots of boosts.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: It's deitly a tag card, and it's anchored.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: I made it strong on purpose, but I think honestly
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: it being in Muna makes it not too strong.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: The common does not gain anchored at all.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Oh, just the rare does. I was like, man, so
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I have to deal with this card for you ever,
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: like it just never goes away.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: No, because there's no helping hand in Muna.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Got some of those last little digs.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: What if you have two spindles on the board and
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: you have a whole bunch of resupply stuff and you
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: keep using discard triggers to re anchor it, then it's
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: worth it.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: We deserve it too, alrighty, all right, Cole, tell us
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: about all our nice events that are coming up.

- 1:08:39Speaker 2: I gotta imagine that's coming up soon.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: No, I haven't heard any.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: I mean, we're what two months out? I feel like
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: two months is the right answer.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: June sixth is when the set release is.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: June's Wow, that's further out than I had planned. Happy
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: the end of May.
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: We have some spoilers, but they're the like very very
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: tiny kidbits and whatnot. I don't think we will be
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: in full spoiler season until maybe middle of April.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, if that's that would be right? Ifif? Yeah, Man,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: that seems really far out. I guess it's not. Because
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: it was the end of January February March April. I
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: kind of thought it would be the end of May
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: it would be coming out.
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: Yeah, technically if you go off of pre releases, it
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: will be out end of May, but official releases the sixth.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: So make sure you do all that for us. We
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: greatly do appreciate it. Leave your comments so Cole Robbie
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: can answer them over on our YouTube page, because I
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: forget that we have one most of the time. Does
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: it show up as as the channel or does it
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: show up as you when you answer?
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: Well, before you made me a manager, I had to
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: go sort and look through and see if there were comments.
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: But now I'm a manager, so it comes from the channel.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: But nice, it's always it's always me.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Nice, it is always him. I pop in there me
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: now and again. But I always forget that there's a
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: YouTube channel that I don't want to say exists. But
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: we upload there too, because we really don't do a
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: ton on the YouTube yet. We don't do a cool
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: like video or anything. Maybe one day, maybe one day
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: I'll just be like, I'll tell color Robbie to give
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: me his footage from whatever he's recording, and we'll put
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: something in the background. It is just a stagnant photo
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: right now, but we're not that cool. It works one day.
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: You can look, you can listen there and people leave
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: comments and I look at them.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: So it works. It works completely fine. We want to
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: thank mister Felix for joining us again. Always a pleasure
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: to have him on. And with that being said, we'll
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: see y'all next week.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I am growing up and I'm never slowing up, but
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I'm never in a rush so one. I'm always taking down.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: When they tell me every of like chill son, like
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: five more minutes. I gotta find the right place to
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: rest my sentence. And I don't even think that I'm
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: gonna finish up until I get the cheese that for
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: lists like a dentist.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: You remember, tell me how it is.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: I don't go to work.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: I talked to the
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Kids, so hi, y'all, here I go like DJ Cool,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: I clear my throat, mirror, mirror,
