- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on seventoor.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hey, I'm back and lots to talk about. We got
- 0:13Speaker 2: a lot of stuff to go over. We'll get to
- 0:16Speaker 2: all of that's freezing cold today and it's going to
- 0:19Speaker 2: stay that way for most of the week. Yeah, that's
- 0:24Speaker 2: is that allergies, the cold weather allergies. It doesn't go away.
- 0:29Speaker 2: So we got a lot to talk about. We'll get
- 0:31Speaker 2: to the Kennedy Center Honors, We'll get to Ukraine, We'll
- 0:33Speaker 2: get to Narco Boats, We'll get to George Sloppadopolis. We'll
- 0:38Speaker 2: get to Mom Donnie and his latest crazy ideas. We'll
- 0:41Speaker 2: get to the pipe bomber and how they caught him.
- 0:43Speaker 2: It's fascinating. Actually, we'll get to the Jets. Interesting, what's
- 0:50Speaker 2: going on with it? This is going to be a
- 0:52Speaker 2: big movement for the rest of the season. Anyway, we'll
- 0:56Speaker 2: we'll talk about all of that and more. Be nice
- 0:59Speaker 2: to your Democratic friends. I know they're angry and yelling
- 1:02Speaker 2: and screaming. I don't know if I'll have time to
- 1:04Speaker 2: do it today, but we're at some point we're gonna
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna explain Trump derangement syndrome in detail. After talking
- 1:11Speaker 2: to a number of psychiatrists and psychologists who've explained exactly
- 1:15Speaker 2: what it is. There are other types of this same disease.
- 1:20Speaker 2: In this case it's Trump derangement syndrome. There are other types.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And also for the past week or two, we've seen
- 1:27Speaker 2: hegxith derangement syndrome as they go nuts trying to get
- 1:30Speaker 2: rid of Pete Hegsith. Now, why it's not even anything
- 1:35Speaker 2: really personal. They just want to get Trump somehow. So
- 1:38Speaker 2: whenever they see something, anything, one little branch of the
- 1:42Speaker 2: tree that looks like it's gonna break, the break off
- 1:45Speaker 2: any limb of the tree, anything, so they think Hexith
- 1:48Speaker 2: is vulnerable. He's not not. In any way. He hasn't
- 1:52Speaker 2: done anything that anybody would consider wrong in the Trump administration.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Signal gait was a complete ridiculous piece of trivia, absolute nonsense.
- 2:01Speaker 2: That's where he used that signal app for communication. It
- 2:04Speaker 2: was approved by the Pentagon. It was Pentagon policy to
- 2:07Speaker 2: use it. If you shouldn't use it, well you could
- 2:09Speaker 2: take a look at that and maybe not use it,
- 2:10Speaker 2: but that's not a scandal. If you're watching the Sunday
- 2:15Speaker 2: shows this week, the opening segments, you might have said,
- 2:19Speaker 2: is this a rerun. Is this from months ago? They
- 2:21Speaker 2: were talking about signal gate using the signal but no, no,
- 2:25Speaker 2: they just latch onto something and they won't let it go.
- 2:28Speaker 2: You know, these Sunday shows, the idea used to be
- 2:31Speaker 2: they go over the news of the week. They didn't
- 2:33Speaker 2: do that on any of the Sunday shows this week.
- 2:35Speaker 3: If you were.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Watching them, you missed out a review of the news
- 2:38Speaker 2: of the week. Instead, they zeroed in on one or
- 2:41Speaker 2: two things that they liked. Well, they're basically only two
- 2:46Speaker 2: get hexaf and Narco boats, and they were going after
- 2:50Speaker 2: these Narco boats, and every crazy Democrat was on there
- 2:55Speaker 2: with their crazy explanations. It might have been We think
- 2:58Speaker 2: it was maybe a fishing but they could have been
- 2:59Speaker 2: fishing boats. No one's ever seen a fishing boat with
- 3:04Speaker 2: six outboards on it and super high speed going eight
- 3:06Speaker 2: hundred miles an hour at three in the morning. Nobody's
- 3:09Speaker 2: ever seen a fishing boat. I'm not an expert on
- 3:13Speaker 2: the fishing or boats, but you can tell a Narco
- 3:16Speaker 2: boat from a fishing boat. A fishing boat has fishing
- 3:20Speaker 2: equipment all over it and hanging off the sides. You
- 3:23Speaker 2: can tell the Narco boat because it's a super high
- 3:26Speaker 2: speed boat with a million outboard engines on it, and
- 3:29Speaker 2: it's got twenty five oil drums of chemicals. You can
- 3:34Speaker 2: always tell the Narco boat that way. See the fishing
- 3:37Speaker 2: boat brings bait. Bait isn't that big. You don't need
- 3:41Speaker 2: twenty five oil drums full of bait, so you can tell. Hey,
- 3:46Speaker 2: the best moment on the Sunday Shows. The finest moment
- 3:48Speaker 2: was the Senator of Missouri, Eric Schmidt Stephanopoulos, or as
- 3:54Speaker 2: we call him, Trump first named him, George Slapadopoulos is
- 3:59Speaker 2: interviewing him. Now he does what they all do. The
- 4:01Speaker 2: greatest example this week was Margaret Brennan. You know they
- 4:04Speaker 2: all do this jackal and hide. They have a Republican
- 4:07Speaker 2: on and every time the Republican answers, they.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Tear it to him.
- 4:10Speaker 2: They a thousand follow ups, they tear apart his answer,
- 4:14Speaker 2: They yell and scream at him, they go crazy, and
- 4:19Speaker 2: then they go to commercial. Then they come back with
- 4:21Speaker 2: a Democrat and whenever the Democrat answers, they just nod
- 4:25Speaker 2: like a bobblehead. They have no follow ups, no pushback.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Whatever the answer is, uh huh, well, thank you, Okay,
- 4:30Speaker 2: here's my next questions just little softble interviews. So for
- 4:33Speaker 2: the Republican they're vicious pitbulls tearing into them. Then when
- 4:37Speaker 2: they come back from commercial to interview the Democrat, they're
- 4:39Speaker 2: cute little poodles hugging the guests. So Schmidt brought this up.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Stephanopolos is trying to destroy Schmidt. He just had a
- 4:48Speaker 2: guest on talking about the Narco boats and whatever the
- 4:51Speaker 2: guest said, Stephanopolis just nodded like a bobblehead. Then he
- 4:55Speaker 2: comes back with Eric Schmidt. Whatever Schmid said, Stephanopolis vicious,
- 5:00Speaker 2: angry tears into them. Listen to this exchange. This is
- 5:02Speaker 2: Eric Schmidt. This moment went super viral on the Sunday
- 5:05Speaker 2: Show yesterday.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Well, I'm curious about your pushback on that particular point.
- 5:09Speaker 5: With your previous guests, you had zero pushback because he's
- 5:12Speaker 5: giving the Democrat talking points like you spew every single week,
- 5:15Speaker 5: which is probably why your ratings are so bad.
- 5:18Speaker 2: He kept going, he kept tearing into Stephanopolis, and.
- 5:21Speaker 5: You're trying to divert here the attention from what the
- 5:24Speaker 5: American people actually support. Seventy five percent of Americans support
- 5:28Speaker 5: US blowing Narco terrorists out of the water in the
- 5:30Speaker 5: Caribbean who are trying to poison Americans. There's no real
- 5:33Speaker 5: legal debate about the ability to do that. Now you
- 5:36Speaker 5: could have a policy discussion about it, which now you
- 5:38Speaker 5: see the Democrats pivoting from the second strike and the
- 5:42Speaker 5: war crimes allegation to really what this whole thing is about,
- 5:45Speaker 5: should we do it and be doing it in the
- 5:46Speaker 5: first place.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Now, you got to remember the drug lords, the big
- 5:49Speaker 2: cartel leaders, you know, Salamanca and all those and Gus
- 5:54Speaker 2: Fring and all the cartel leaders watching the Sunday shows
- 5:58Speaker 2: had tears in their eye so grateful at the way
- 6:02Speaker 2: these Sunday hosts were defending them in their drug boats,
- 6:05Speaker 2: sticking up for them, fighting for them.
- 6:08Speaker 5: And this is kind of the rabbit hole of Trump
- 6:09Speaker 5: arrangement syndrome, is that they can't let this thing go.
- 6:12Speaker 5: They can't believe that he won. They didn't want Hegseth
- 6:14Speaker 5: to be the Secretary of War. They fought it. He
- 6:16Speaker 5: was their number one target. They failed at that, and
- 6:18Speaker 5: so now you just have a series and series of
- 6:20Speaker 5: issues that come up every week to try to undermine
- 6:22Speaker 5: this president the secretary of War, and it's not working.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's amazing how this Trump arrangement syndrome has these Democrats
- 6:30Speaker 2: defending anything illegal. If it's illegal, they're going to defend it.
- 6:34Speaker 2: If it's narco terrorists and drug shipments, Fell defended, it's
- 6:39Speaker 2: illegals all over the city streets. Fell defended whatever it is.
- 6:42Speaker 2: If it's anti Trump, they'll defend it, even if it's illegal.
- 6:47Speaker 2: The standing up fighting for every criminal in the world. Hey,
- 6:50Speaker 2: now that one of the fascinating things this past week
- 6:52Speaker 2: was they caught the pipe bomber January sixth. Everybody was
- 6:56Speaker 2: focused on the trespassing incident at the Capitol and not
- 7:00Speaker 2: on the pipe bombs. Somebody put bombs at the RNC
- 7:04Speaker 2: and at the DNC. This is pretty serious stuff. They
- 7:09Speaker 2: caught it and they got the bombs and got rid
- 7:11Speaker 2: of them. But that could have been a disastrous that.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You know, all you heard about was January sixth, was
- 7:16Speaker 2: the trespassers, the people at unlawful entry. They were all
- 7:21Speaker 2: charged with unlawful entry, trespassing, that sort of stuff. This
- 7:24Speaker 2: is all you heard about. You never really heard any
- 7:27Speaker 2: follow up on the pipe bombs. And the reason was
- 7:31Speaker 2: Christopher Ray, who was the worst FBI director, a real
- 7:35Speaker 2: swamp creature, and the deep state the swamp was only
- 7:38Speaker 2: interested in getting Trump. They felt that the trespassing at
- 7:42Speaker 2: the capitol, the chaos at the Capitol, would get Trump,
- 7:45Speaker 2: so they focused on that. They investigated like crazy, they
- 7:50Speaker 2: prosecuted like crazy. They got like seven hundred and sixty
- 7:54Speaker 2: of those trespassers. They went after that. The pipe bomb
- 7:57Speaker 2: they decided was of no value to them as far
- 8:00Speaker 2: as their narrative because the pipe bomber tried to blow
- 8:03Speaker 2: up the DNC and the RNC. It didn't look like
- 8:06Speaker 2: he had any political leaning, so it was of no
- 8:09Speaker 2: value to Chris Ray, the FBI, the deep state, the swamp,
- 8:13Speaker 2: the Biden administration, they they weren't interested in the pipe bomber.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Finding him not in any interest, so they let it go.
- 8:20Speaker 2: They had a lot of evidence, but they didn't really
- 8:23Speaker 2: do anything with it. Well, a few weeks ago, actually
- 8:26Speaker 2: a couple of months ago, Trump administration decided to really
- 8:29Speaker 2: go after this and do the investigation and find this guy.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And they did. They took all the existing evidence and
- 8:38Speaker 2: then they used AI. Christopher Ray could have done this,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and this is it's fascinating stuff what they can do
- 8:44Speaker 2: with AI. You ever watched that CSI. But the laboratory stuff.
- 8:49Speaker 2: They can do the scientifics to catch a criminals. Frightening,
- 8:52Speaker 2: and you're a criminal, you gotta go whoa this is?
- 8:55Speaker 2: I mean they are really thorough, but this is way
- 8:58Speaker 2: beyond it. This is AI. So one of the things
- 9:01Speaker 2: they used the AI for they figured out what it
- 9:04Speaker 2: takes to make a pipe bomb. There's about seventeen things
- 9:07Speaker 2: you'd have to buy to make a pipe bomb. You'd
- 9:11Speaker 2: have to buy a certain type of pipe, certain types
- 9:14Speaker 2: of chemicals also, So they listed the seventeen things and
- 9:19Speaker 2: then they looked through the sales receipts of every store, everywhere,
- 9:24Speaker 2: home depot, lows, every hardware thing. They looked through all
- 9:27Speaker 2: the sales receipts. Now only AI could do this. For humans,
- 9:30Speaker 2: to do this, you'd need a team of like ten
- 9:32Speaker 2: thousand people and it would take them year's But the
- 9:35Speaker 2: AI can look through the sale of everything in the
- 9:38Speaker 2: America and figure out did any one person buy all
- 9:42Speaker 2: seventeen of these things? And they got a name somebody
- 9:47Speaker 2: that bought all seventeen. Then they could take the two
- 9:50Speaker 2: locations where the pipe bombs were. You know, your phone
- 9:53Speaker 2: has a GPS in it, they can track where you are.
- 9:56Speaker 2: So and only AI could do this. For humans to
- 9:58Speaker 2: do it would take twenty years and a thousand people.
- 10:02Speaker 2: The AI could look through all the phone records of
- 10:05Speaker 2: all the cell phones and see if anybody was in
- 10:07Speaker 2: both those locations on that day. And they did, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: they got it down to one guy. They figured out
- 10:13Speaker 2: it was the guy. And then they went to you know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: they had the security video, they looked, they found the
- 10:18Speaker 2: guy on it. They've got him. He's been arrested, he
- 10:23Speaker 2: will be prosecuted. It's going to be a hell of
- 10:25Speaker 2: a trial. Christopher Ray could have done this, Biden could
- 10:29Speaker 2: have done this. They decided deliberately not to. But they
- 10:32Speaker 2: got the guy. And it's a great, great, great accomplishment
- 10:36Speaker 2: for Jeanine Piro, for the FBI. Now here's the only
- 10:41Speaker 2: problem for you said, well, gee, I didn't hear a
- 10:43Speaker 2: loud about this. How am they're not talking about this? Well,
- 10:46Speaker 2: here's the reason they've looked through this guy is everything,
- 10:48Speaker 2: his emails, his social media, everything. There is no indication
- 10:54Speaker 2: anywhere that he was a Trump voter. In fact, it
- 10:59Speaker 2: appears he did not register with either party. He did
- 11:01Speaker 2: not vote. It seems he has nothing to do with Trump,
- 11:04Speaker 2: no connection. He's more of just an angry anarchist sort
- 11:08Speaker 2: of a guy. So there's nothing to tie him to
- 11:11Speaker 2: a MAGA or Trump. So that's the other reason you
- 11:14Speaker 2: didn't hear anything about it this week. He's facing thirty
- 11:18Speaker 2: years in prison if convicted. It's most likely he will
- 11:21Speaker 2: be convicted. The evidence is overwhelming. So that should be it.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Kennedy Center Honors last night. It's a great thing in
- 11:30Speaker 2: Washington because here in New York we got a million gallows.
- 11:35Speaker 2: We got all sorts of gallows every night of the week,
- 11:38Speaker 2: we got all sorts of awards, got every There's a
- 11:41Speaker 2: million things in there. Washington, DC, they don't have a lot.
- 11:45Speaker 2: There's really not much. There's the Kennedy Center Honors that's
- 11:48Speaker 2: like the one big galla of the year. There's what
- 11:51Speaker 2: they call the Alfalfa Dinner. That's a big event down there.
- 11:55Speaker 2: There's that White House Corresponds dinner. But that's about it.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Very rarely today have any excuse down there to get
- 12:01Speaker 2: dressed up and go to a big gallous. It's the
- 12:04Speaker 2: biggest event in Washington all year. I used to go
- 12:06Speaker 2: to it every year but stopped about ten years ago.
- 12:10Speaker 2: But it was always a great event. And when you
- 12:13Speaker 2: go there, the Kennedy said, the whole audience, the entire audience,
- 12:17Speaker 2: are famous political people, all the Senators, all the congressmen,
- 12:19Speaker 2: all the Cabinet, everybody. And it's always four or five
- 12:24Speaker 2: great honorees. A couple are really big stars. A couple
- 12:26Speaker 2: of people that aren't such big stars to most people.
- 12:30Speaker 2: You know, a classical musician, a ballet, you know, that
- 12:33Speaker 2: kind of stuff. But Trump has taken over the Kennedy Center,
- 12:36Speaker 2: put all his people on the board. It used to
- 12:39Speaker 2: be kind of left wing, but then it got more
- 12:42Speaker 2: and more and more and more to the left. It
- 12:44Speaker 2: was really partisan. Now it's not. So you get real
- 12:48Speaker 2: American heroes. You know, Sylvester Stallone. And in the old
- 12:53Speaker 2: days of Keney centerd be Laurence Olivier. Now it's Sylvester Stallone.
- 12:56Speaker 2: But that's good. And Trump, remember loves Sylvester Stallone. They
- 12:59Speaker 2: did a lot of stuff through the years together, TV
- 13:02Speaker 2: and other stuff. And the President has a big ceremony
- 13:06Speaker 2: in the Oval Office giving the special medals, and then
- 13:10Speaker 2: they go to the Kenny Center and they do the
- 13:11Speaker 2: big dinner. Here's President Trump and it was Rambo.
- 13:13Speaker 6: I knew nothing about it, but I like sly, So
- 13:16Speaker 6: I said, let's go see it. After about four minutes,
- 13:18Speaker 6: they said, this movie is great.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so hey. Also remember Trump became a big hit
- 13:24Speaker 2: with The Apprentice. It was the number one show in television,
- 13:27Speaker 2: so big that they decided to do spinoffs. Remember the
- 13:29Speaker 2: first spinoff of The Apprentice, Sylvester Stallone was the host. Yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 2: it didn't do well. There were fourteen Apprentice copies and
- 13:37Speaker 2: none of them did well. Only Trump's Michael Crawford Phanom
- 13:41Speaker 2: of the Opera. Donald Trump loves fan of the Opera.
- 13:44Speaker 2: You wouldn't think that, would you. You wouldn't think that'd
- 13:46Speaker 2: be his kind of ship. But he loves it, loves
- 13:47Speaker 2: the music, loves Michael Crawford. He got the Kennedy Center Award.
- 13:51Speaker 6: And I don't think they're ever going to find anybody
- 13:53Speaker 6: like you, Michael, Okay, I know something about that business.
- 13:56Speaker 6: I don't think they'll find anybody like you.
- 13:58Speaker 2: He was brilliant in Phantom of the Opera. He was
- 14:02Speaker 2: amazing in Phantom of the Opera. However, that's twenty eight
- 14:06Speaker 2: years ago and he hasn't done much since. I guess
- 14:08Speaker 2: he has, but you know, that's what he's best known for.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Me I mean musically he's not. I remember he's in
- 14:14Speaker 2: Las Vegas for a while, one of those residencies. But
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's great to see him get it and big happy
- 14:21Speaker 2: crowd except for the left. Now, what they do They
- 14:25Speaker 2: do the Kennedy Centers on a Sunday night and then
- 14:28Speaker 2: they record it. It's that three or four hour deal
- 14:31Speaker 2: and then they chop it down to two hours for
- 14:32Speaker 2: a television special on CBS. That's been the routine for many,
- 14:36Speaker 2: many years. So it was last night they recorded it.
- 14:39Speaker 2: It will be seen December thirteenth on CBS, the edited version.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Now this will be interesting. It gets pretty good ratings.
- 14:47Speaker 2: But of course the left wingers will not watch it.
- 14:49Speaker 2: They'll go crazy. But we'll see, we'll see how well
- 14:52Speaker 2: it does this year. Hey, we'll get to mom. Donnie
- 14:55Speaker 2: coming up. He's made the decision. He will give up
- 14:59Speaker 2: his rent controlled department. He will move into Gracy Mansion. Now,
- 15:03Speaker 2: one of the reasons is security told him that it's
- 15:06Speaker 2: really impossible for him to continue to live in an
- 15:08Speaker 2: apartment building in Astoria. There's a lot of security around him, Mayor,
- 15:12Speaker 2: and they just it would be totally disruptive to the
- 15:16Speaker 2: apartment building. You know, when you're the mayor, the governor.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Generally you come into a building, they shut off the elevator.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You know, no one else is allowed in the elevator,
- 15:24Speaker 2: he except you and the security. So you can't do
- 15:27Speaker 2: that in an apartment building. Also, they'd have to check
- 15:31Speaker 2: everybody coming in and out all the time. You can't
- 15:33Speaker 2: do it. So he'll move into Gracey Mansion. Pretty good socialist.
- 15:38Speaker 2: They're living in a mansion, Gracy Mansion, right on the water.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We'll get into this more detail later. He's got this
- 15:44Speaker 2: plan now to stop the sweeps of homeless people, the encampments.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Of course, this is a disaster. Eric Adams has been
- 15:53Speaker 2: doing a good job. You know, you may not have noticed.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Maybe you did notice. You see very few homeless people
- 15:58Speaker 2: and you don't see any homeless camps anywhere.
- 16:00Speaker 7: If he's stating he's no longer going to implement a
- 16:04Speaker 7: smart policy on our part, New Yorkers have got to
- 16:07Speaker 7: see the repercussions of that.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so well, well we'll get into this and don't
- 16:12Speaker 2: ma'm Donnie's ridiculous explanation of why he seem to do. Hey,
- 16:15Speaker 2: by the way, you know, you keep everybody's leaving New
- 16:17Speaker 2: York that's it. Everybody's leaving. Everybody's people are not leaving here.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Actual statistics since the election. Real estate sales have been
- 16:28Speaker 2: booming since Mam Donnie got elected. Since his election, eight
- 16:32Speaker 2: hundred and sixty nine contracts have been signed in New
- 16:35Speaker 2: York City. That's a little down, it's like down half
- 16:38Speaker 2: a one percent, but it's pretty close to last year.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Eight hundred and sixty nine contracts have been signed. Condo
- 16:45Speaker 2: sales have been very strong since the election. Luxury deals
- 16:49Speaker 2: very strong. Forty one contracts signed just last week. That's
- 16:53Speaker 2: a lot. And you get on these big real estate guys,
- 16:57Speaker 2: the big, big, big geniuses of real estate and banking.
- 17:01Speaker 2: They know better, they see the future. JP Morgan, you know,
- 17:04Speaker 2: just open this massive, massive new headquarters on Park Avenue.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Ten thousand people can work in that building. So you think, well,
- 17:13Speaker 2: that show's confidence. You know what shows even more confidence.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Now I'm hearing JP Morgan is going to do a
- 17:18Speaker 2: second building a block or two a way. They need
- 17:20Speaker 2: a whole other building, another massive skyscraper they're going to do.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And there's more examples of this. So these guys think
- 17:26Speaker 2: New York will be fine. Anyway, we'll get back to Mom, Donnie.
- 17:29Speaker 2: We'll get to all of that coming up. We'll take
- 17:31Speaker 2: some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 17:35Speaker 2: seven ten is the number eight hundred three two one
- 17:38Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 17:40Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 17:43Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button. Now. Now back to
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Mark Simone Show on woor.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Kim in Connecticut. Kim,
- 17:55Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 17:57Speaker 8: Thanks, I've been listening with years show about the recent
- 18:02Speaker 8: homeless situation in New York. What Mandannie's doing there. I
- 18:07Speaker 8: just wanted to say that this is spreading like a cancer.
- 18:10Speaker 8: It is in Connecticut now among the socialist Democrats. Connecticut
- 18:18Speaker 8: is totally run by the Democratic Party. You have two
- 18:21Speaker 8: Democratic senators.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Well, you got the two worst senators, two really really
- 18:27Speaker 2: ugly bad.
- 18:27Speaker 8: Senators, the really worst.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Now your governor's not so bad. Your governor has moments
- 18:32Speaker 2: of very very bad behavior, maybe because Ned Lamont, the
- 18:39Speaker 2: governor was a business guy for many, many years, so
- 18:42Speaker 2: he goes pretty left woke sometimes, but sometimes he goes
- 18:46Speaker 2: very very common sense. But you've got Blumenthal and Chris Murphy,
- 18:49Speaker 2: the two of the sleaziest dirtiest public servants ever lying?
- 18:55Speaker 2: How many times these guys Guy's been caught lying about
- 18:58Speaker 2: anything and everything. Let's go to Mike in Florida.
- 19:01Speaker 9: Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, And
- 19:05Speaker 9: before I make my point about the Democrats, can you
- 19:07Speaker 9: believe it's been forty five years since John Lennon was killed?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Wow? For years?
- 19:12Speaker 10: Unbelievable, forty five years.
- 19:15Speaker 9: It's like mind boggling, isn't it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, right in front of the Dakota seventy second and
- 19:21Speaker 2: Central Park West.
- 19:23Speaker 9: Yeah, unbelievable, Like it's like surreal. Actually they think it's
- 19:28Speaker 9: been that long. Yeah, But you were mentioning about the
- 19:31Speaker 9: Democrats they have.
- 19:32Speaker 3: They're so clever.
- 19:33Speaker 9: You know, they have this quiver of issues that they
- 19:35Speaker 9: like to put an arrow out, take an arrow out,
- 19:38Speaker 9: and put it back in. You know, Epstein being one
- 19:40Speaker 9: of them that you know, the the narco stuff that
- 19:44Speaker 9: will disappear for a couple of weeks and then they'll
- 19:46Speaker 9: bring it back. Then they'll bring out you know Maxine Nicely,
- 19:49Speaker 9: Maxine Waters, you know, made her appearance. So they're starting
- 19:53Speaker 9: to bring out the big guns to start, you know,
- 19:56Speaker 9: hammering away. They're very clever at there, Yeah, you can't.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Make in case that that clever because none of these
- 20:01Speaker 2: things ever go anywhere. I mean, it gives them something
- 20:03Speaker 2: to do at MSNBC, but they never amount anything. The
- 20:06Speaker 2: Epstein thing went nowhere. The Narco boats will go nowhere
- 20:09Speaker 2: for them. None of them work in the end.
- 20:11Speaker 9: Well, I just hope it doesn't have accumulative effect, you know,
- 20:14Speaker 9: on the voters. It's not us, but too many other
- 20:18Speaker 9: people seem to be able to into this stuff.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I know what you mean, but it's more
- 20:22Speaker 2: just red meat for the Trumps arrangement syndrome crowd. You
- 20:24Speaker 2: got to throw them something every day. You know. They
- 20:27Speaker 2: got a signal gate. That was a big one for
- 20:29Speaker 2: a week or two. Signal Gate. They're using the signal.
- 20:32Speaker 2: They were all fired up about that. It was all
- 20:34Speaker 2: over CNN and MSNB. The normal people in the public home,
- 20:37Speaker 2: what the hell is signal gate? They're paying no attention
- 20:39Speaker 2: to it. Same thing with the narco boats. They like
- 20:42Speaker 2: seeing drug dealers blown up. They enjoy that. They think
- 20:45Speaker 2: that's good for America, getting rid of all the fentanyl
- 20:47Speaker 2: and cocaine and all. They like that. So it ends
- 20:50Speaker 2: up going nowhere in the end, you know, the Epstein thing. Again,
- 20:56Speaker 2: it just doesn't register. Most people don't care. Hey, by
- 20:58Speaker 2: the way, I've talked to everybody that's read the Epstein
- 21:01Speaker 2: files in detail. I mean, these are prosecutors in the
- 21:05Speaker 2: US Attorney's office, These are FBI guys. Alan Dershowitz who
- 21:10Speaker 2: was there. He was Epstein's lawyer, and they all say
- 21:13Speaker 2: the same thing. They all seem to agree on one thing.
- 21:15Speaker 2: There is nothing in these Epstein files that would surprise anybody.
- 21:21Speaker 2: In fact, there are no names in their Every name
- 21:23Speaker 2: you think it's going to be in every name has
- 21:25Speaker 2: already been public. There's a couple of names that aren't,
- 21:28Speaker 2: but they're like unknown business people. But all the names
- 21:31Speaker 2: have already been made public. There's nothing in there. And
- 21:35Speaker 2: when they say the Epstein files, it's mostly from the
- 21:38Speaker 2: US Attorney's office here in Manhattan, the Southern District. And
- 21:43Speaker 2: if you talk to people that have seen that file,
- 21:45Speaker 2: what it is, it's just witness interviews. That's ninety eight
- 21:48Speaker 2: percent of the file is just witness interviews and there's
- 21:51Speaker 2: not much in there. Let's go to Paul in Whitestone. Paul,
- 21:54Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 21:56Speaker 10: Yeah, Mark, how are you doing good? You can't make
- 21:58Speaker 10: this up. A cont got to stop.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Nothing against you personally, everybody has got to stop using
- 22:04Speaker 2: that expression. You can't make this stuff up. You can
- 22:07Speaker 2: make it up. It's offensive to the great writers and
- 22:11Speaker 2: novelists and screenwriters. You can very easily make this kind
- 22:14Speaker 2: of stuff up. In fact, there are guys that do
- 22:16Speaker 2: that all day long for a living. So nothing against you, though.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Go ahead, all right.
- 22:21Speaker 10: A communist who wants to abolish prisons and police is
- 22:25Speaker 10: going to live in a mansion for quote, his family's safety.
- 22:29Speaker 10: I don't want to hear it. If the police advise this,
- 22:31Speaker 10: he should stand for his principles and say no, I'm
- 22:35Speaker 10: going to stay in the story. I'm going to not
- 22:37Speaker 10: have police protection. But he's not going to do that
- 22:40Speaker 10: because he's like every other communist leader, and the young,
- 22:43Speaker 10: selfish idiots who voted for him because they want free
- 22:46Speaker 10: stuff are about to learn a harsh lesson.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well it happens. Who is it that said great
- 22:52Speaker 2: Commas said we have to go through this every twenty years.
- 22:56Speaker 2: We have to let him do their socialism experiment. Let
- 22:58Speaker 2: it fail so the new generals can see how bad
- 23:01Speaker 2: it is. But again, nobody out there ever say again,
- 23:05Speaker 2: you can't make this stuff up. I remember sitting with
- 23:08Speaker 2: I'll mentioned names a couple of great screenwriters and someone said,
- 23:11Speaker 2: you can't make this up, and they got very offended.
- 23:13Speaker 2: They said, you can. That's what we do for a living.
- 23:16Speaker 2: We can make up stuff even more far fetched than this.
- 23:19Speaker 2: It's easy to do. Hey, when we come back. Michael
- 23:22Speaker 2: Goodwin has been out of action for a couple of weeks,
- 23:25Speaker 2: but Liz Peak, the brilliant columnists will be with us
- 23:28Speaker 2: next on seven to ten wor.
- 23:31Speaker 1: More Mark Simone on seven ten Woo.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Well, Liz Peak the brilliant columnist, and he's got this
- 23:40Speaker 2: wonderful website. You should check it every day. Sign up
- 23:43Speaker 2: for the daily Briefings. It's great news and analysis. Lizpeak
- 23:48Speaker 2: dot com. Lizpeak dot com. Make sure you sign up
- 23:51Speaker 2: for the daily Briefing every day. Good stuff, Liz Peak.
- 23:54Speaker 2: How you doing, I'm.
- 23:57Speaker 11: Terrific better for speaking with you.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Hey, hear that the big drug lords, the cartel bosses,
- 24:03Speaker 2: had tears in their eyes yesterday watching these Sunday shows,
- 24:06Speaker 2: so grateful to the host for sticking up for them,
- 24:09Speaker 2: defending them in their narco boats. How much longer do
- 24:13Speaker 2: we have to listen to this from the Democrats.
- 24:16Speaker 12: I mean, Mark, don't you really begin to sort of think,
- 24:19Speaker 12: what are the Democrats doing? What do they stand for?
- 24:23Speaker 12: As the public looks at the Democratic Party? Now, they
- 24:26Speaker 12: stand for illegal immigration. They stand for effectively embracing recidivism,
- 24:32Speaker 12: not putting anyone in jail, and all these god awful
- 24:35Speaker 12: stories week after week, just like the light train stabbing,
- 24:39Speaker 12: the second one again as someone who's been convicted of
- 24:43Speaker 12: many times an illegal immigrant, I mean, what are the
- 24:47Speaker 12: They embrace fraud? They're opposed twenty six states won't let
- 24:52Speaker 12: the federal government look at their SNAP programs and their
- 24:55Speaker 12: Medicaid programs.
- 24:57Speaker 11: Why. I mean, fraud is a serious thing.
- 25:00Speaker 12: Hundreds of billions of dollars every year and that is,
- 25:03Speaker 12: by the way, coming a statistic coming from Joe Biden's
- 25:06Speaker 12: administration are lost to waste and fraud by our federal
- 25:11Speaker 12: welfare programs. What is it that the Democrats are offering
- 25:15Speaker 12: people that they can possibly like? And as you say,
- 25:19Speaker 12: the final thing standing up for narco traffickers, that is
- 25:23Speaker 12: really a winning argument. My god, what is wrong with
- 25:26Speaker 12: these people?
- 25:28Speaker 2: So whenever it comes to Democrats and homeless programs, money
- 25:32Speaker 2: seems to have vanished. Remember we had the Deblasio administration
- 25:35Speaker 2: with that thrive.
- 25:36Speaker 11: Indorson dollars billion missing.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Now in this Somali, Minnesota, Tim Waltz, whatever this is,
- 25:43Speaker 2: they're talking about maybe up to eight billion missing. Mom,
- 25:47Speaker 2: Donnie is now talking about a homeless program. Does that
- 25:50Speaker 2: mean another billion is going to get lost somewhere?
- 25:53Speaker 11: Sure?
- 25:53Speaker 12: Sure, because among other things, none of these people has
- 25:57Speaker 12: real world private sector or experience. So you know, I
- 26:02Speaker 12: think it was Jamie Dimond yesterday on Maria's Maria Bartiromo
- 26:07Speaker 12: show talking about the city is three hundred thousand people
- 26:10Speaker 12: and basically, successful mayors are people who can manage. Well,
- 26:14Speaker 12: do you think this guy has any management capabilities at all?
- 26:18Speaker 12: Of course he doesn't. He hasn't read, he hasn't run
- 26:21Speaker 12: a business. He hasn't run any Most Democrats, by the way,
- 26:25Speaker 12: have never run a business, which is a very interesting
- 26:29Speaker 12: differential in my view, between Republicans and Democrats. When Democrats
- 26:32Speaker 12: get fired, they get voted out of a job, what
- 26:35Speaker 12: do they do? They run for another office because they
- 26:38Speaker 12: don't know how to run a restaurant or build a
- 26:40Speaker 12: house or anything practical. Republicans can go back to farming
- 26:44Speaker 12: or running a car dealership or you know name it.
- 26:46Speaker 12: I mean, actually, if you look at seriously, what you
- 26:49Speaker 12: know congress people and mayors and stuff do after retirement.
- 26:53Speaker 11: They either go to work for.
- 26:55Speaker 12: MSNBC if they're Democrats, or they go to Harvard to teach,
- 26:59Speaker 12: like build A Blasio or Lori Lightfoot, or they run
- 27:03Speaker 12: for another office. Look at Andrew Como. He couldn't think
- 27:05Speaker 12: of anything else to do, so we ran for mayor
- 27:07Speaker 12: of New York. That didn't turn out well, So what's
- 27:10Speaker 12: he going to do? He's probably going to find, you know,
- 27:12Speaker 12: mayor of Buffalo or something next to run for.
- 27:14Speaker 11: It's really pitiful. But anyway, Mandani taking.
- 27:18Speaker 12: On a lot of money to spew at the homeless.
- 27:22Speaker 12: You know, his latest thing on homelessness is he's no
- 27:25Speaker 12: longer going to enforce the eradication or the cleaning out
- 27:29Speaker 12: of the homeless encampments. Who does that benefit Mark? Who
- 27:33Speaker 12: is really applauding that move? It certainly isn't the residence
- 27:36Speaker 12: of the neighborhoods where these homeless encampments spring up, because
- 27:40Speaker 12: their lives are going to be made a mess by
- 27:43Speaker 12: the fact that you're going to have this sprawl of dirty,
- 27:47Speaker 12: sometimes violent homeless community that kind of erupts in their
- 27:53Speaker 12: midst It isn't good for the homeless, some seventy percent
- 27:56Speaker 12: of whom are drug users or alcoholics, because they aren't
- 28:01Speaker 12: going to get any treatment. They prefer to live on
- 28:04Speaker 12: the street because they can continue to abuse drugs and alcohol.
- 28:07Speaker 12: It isn't good for them. Who is it good for?
- 28:10Speaker 12: I mean, I really ask that all sincerity. Who does
- 28:13Speaker 12: he think he's benefiting there?
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah? You know, here in the radio business, we want
- 28:18Speaker 2: to do something. Sometimes we see what happened in other
- 28:20Speaker 2: stations did it and they come in with the report
- 28:22Speaker 2: forty seven stations did it and the ratings plunged all
- 28:25Speaker 2: forty seven times, So we know not to do it now.
- 28:28Speaker 2: In the case of Mamdani, and he's a very smart guy,
- 28:31Speaker 2: when they show him thirteen other cities did it and
- 28:33Speaker 2: with disaster, why can he take in that information and
- 28:37Speaker 2: calculate all this.
- 28:39Speaker 12: Well, it's the same thing with rent control, right, rent
- 28:43Speaker 12: control has never ever worked anywhere, and so nonetheless, he
- 28:48Speaker 12: is very in favor of capping rent increases on subsidized housing,
- 28:52Speaker 12: even though it has been proven time after time that
- 28:56Speaker 12: what you do is disincentivize landlords from pitting any money
- 29:00Speaker 12: any investment into the housing stock, So basically you end
- 29:04Speaker 12: up with worse off, less affordable, and crumbling housing. So
- 29:10Speaker 12: to your point, why doesn't he learn from that? Why
- 29:13Speaker 12: don't the young people out protesting in favor of socialism
- 29:17Speaker 12: learn from the fact that never error has socialism resulted
- 29:21Speaker 12: in anything but increase poverty and, by the way, increase
- 29:26Speaker 12: wealth disparities. I mean, look at Venezuela, a very good example.
- 29:30Speaker 12: So the answer to your question is because ideologues like
- 29:34Speaker 12: Mom Donnie don't really ever look at facts. They don't
- 29:38Speaker 12: look at common sense answers. Are they are wedded to
- 29:43Speaker 12: an ideological approach, whether it's climate change or just social
- 29:48Speaker 12: justice or whatever that basically is a failure. But then
- 29:52Speaker 12: you know, nobody's around to kind of blame them for
- 29:55Speaker 12: the failure usually, so they just kind of go on
- 29:58Speaker 12: and do what they want. But it's a fact free
- 30:01Speaker 12: zone that Mom Donnie is living in.
- 30:03Speaker 11: It's true.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Is it just childish? That's like a you know, childish teenagers.
- 30:09Speaker 2: It something sounds good, they do it. They don't think
- 30:10Speaker 2: of the consequences.
- 30:11Speaker 12: So yeah, yes, because because just what you said, there's
- 30:15Speaker 12: no consequences. What are the consequences if he blows a
- 30:19Speaker 12: billion dollars over the next four years on homelessness.
- 30:23Speaker 11: Look at Gavin Newsom.
- 30:24Speaker 12: How much money has Gavin Newsom spent on homeless projects
- 30:29Speaker 12: in California only to see the money disappear, the homeless
- 30:33Speaker 12: population continue to grow, et cetera. Does any It's incredible
- 30:38Speaker 12: to me. How is it the voters don't say, well,
- 30:40Speaker 12: wait a minute, didn't you just ask for five billion
- 30:43Speaker 12: dollars for that?
- 30:44Speaker 11: Where did that money go?
- 30:46Speaker 12: Show us the money, show us, you know, let's have accountability.
- 30:50Speaker 12: There is never accountability. It is mystifying.
- 30:53Speaker 2: So is the real problem that we don't have legitimate
- 30:56Speaker 2: news organizations anymore. If we had real news and media,
- 30:59Speaker 2: there would become consequences. Newsom would be a time day
- 31:01Speaker 2: and night. So how do you run a democracy with
- 31:04Speaker 2: corrupt news?
- 31:05Speaker 11: I think that's part of it.
- 31:07Speaker 12: I actually think what sort of tragic is we have
- 31:09Speaker 12: people who listen to one side or another kind of
- 31:12Speaker 12: depending on their politics. They listen to Fox News, they
- 31:15Speaker 12: listen to you, or they listen to CNN and MS
- 31:20Speaker 12: now or whatever it's called, and people get very little
- 31:23Speaker 12: cross fertilization.
- 31:24Speaker 11: I think that's fair, very I read. I'm sure you
- 31:27Speaker 11: read publications.
- 31:29Speaker 12: On the other side, a lot of people simply don't
- 31:31Speaker 12: They don't want to know, they don't want to hear,
- 31:33Speaker 12: and you know what, that's not good for our country.
- 31:37Speaker 12: I hope at some point there really are news organizations
- 31:40Speaker 12: that will cover, you know, stories from both sides. I
- 31:45Speaker 12: was listening to was it Margaret Brennan who interviewed Elan
- 31:49Speaker 12: Omar yesterday?
- 31:51Speaker 11: You know, and you just want to kind of put
- 31:52Speaker 11: your head through the wall.
- 31:53Speaker 12: It's like, really, you're not going to challenge her on
- 31:56Speaker 12: the fact that the Somalis have been perpetuating these frauds.
- 32:00Speaker 11: But by the way, it's not that big a community.
- 32:02Speaker 12: If there were hundreds of people, which probably there were
- 32:05Speaker 12: involved in scamming of the three different programs, they acted
- 32:11Speaker 12: like it was just one three different programs that they
- 32:13Speaker 12: took billions of dollars from. Don't you think an awful
- 32:16Speaker 12: lot of Somalis knew what was going on?
- 32:19Speaker 1: I do.
- 32:19Speaker 11: And for her to just sort of.
- 32:21Speaker 12: Accept that, oh, yeah, Somali's really are the victims here,
- 32:25Speaker 12: I don't know, it's pretty discouraging.
- 32:28Speaker 2: She was funny yesterday. Whatever idiotic explanation Omar gave, she
- 32:32Speaker 2: just nodded like a bubble head.
- 32:34Speaker 12: Yeah, just nodded, right, I mean it's like but the
- 32:38Speaker 12: best media breakout yesterday was Leslie Stall deciding that Marjorie
- 32:44Speaker 12: Taylor Green was the person she needed to interview for
- 32:47Speaker 12: sixty minutes. So Marjorie Taylor Green, someone who has been
- 32:51Speaker 12: totally widely chastised, debunked, criticized on the left, loads on
- 32:58Speaker 12: the left as being a conspirat, theorists and all the rest.
- 33:01Speaker 12: Now she's acceptable because she's gonna blast Donald Trump.
- 33:05Speaker 11: I mean, really, isn't that just incredible?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Pretty pretty transparent thought. Oh my gosh, well, great stuff. Hey,
- 33:12Speaker 2: everybody should go to lizpeak dot com P E e K.

- 34:39Speaker 2: day today, So we're just talking about this a moment ago.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green. You remember that looney woman, Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 34:48Speaker 2: So she turned on Trump when on Trump started attacking him,
- 34:53Speaker 2: attacking him, attacking him. Trump attacked her back, called her
- 34:57Speaker 2: a trader. So she left politics, and she left politics
- 35:01Speaker 2: is all the polling show. She couldn't win. She would
- 35:06Speaker 2: not win reelection, so it looks better just to resign,
- 35:09Speaker 2: drop out, so you're not going to run again. And
- 35:13Speaker 2: you know, sixty Minutes would never put a woman like
- 35:15Speaker 2: that on the air. Crazy conspiracy theory, nutty. They would
- 35:19Speaker 2: never put her on sixty minutes. Ever, unless she starts
- 35:24Speaker 2: attacking Trump. Then all of a sudden, she's the big
- 35:26Speaker 2: interview last night, the big superstar interview of sixty Minutes.
- 35:30Speaker 2: She's the main feature, an interview with Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 35:33Speaker 2: She's attacking Trump. They love her, they put her on
- 35:36Speaker 2: the air. She did have one great moment though, where
- 35:40Speaker 2: Leslie Stall said to her, you know our awful toxic politics,
- 35:45Speaker 2: all the crazy partisan She said you. She looked at
- 35:50Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green. You know you were a big part
- 35:53Speaker 2: of the toxic politics. And good for Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 35:57Speaker 2: She is and you weren't. He said, Leslie, you were
- 36:01Speaker 2: as toxic as anybody politically, which is true. I mean
- 36:05Speaker 2: Leslie Stall got caught in more lying fake news. Remember
- 36:10Speaker 2: the famous Trump interview where he talked about the surveillance
- 36:13Speaker 2: on his campaign, and Leslie Stall said, there's no truth
- 36:16Speaker 2: to that. Well, of course it turned out to be
- 36:17Speaker 2: absolutely true, and she looked ridiculous. But President Trump went
- 36:22Speaker 2: on truth Social last night, really went after sixty minutes
- 36:25Speaker 2: Paramount attacking them like crazy. He really unleashed on them.
- 36:31Speaker 2: He said, under Paramont sixty minutes even got worse. It's
- 36:36Speaker 2: actually even worse now than before. Well, give them time
- 36:40Speaker 2: to cleaning house there. It's going to take a while.
- 36:42Speaker 2: It's gonna be done very slowly. They're going to get
- 36:45Speaker 2: rid of people one by one. Leslie Stall will be gone.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Gail King has already gone. I mean she's still on,
- 36:50Speaker 2: but she's leaving. All these people will be leaving. They'll
- 36:54Speaker 2: slowly clean up this mess. It's going to take a while.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Now Paramount is in the good graces of the Trump administrations.
- 37:02Speaker 2: They don't want to lose that because they still want
- 37:05Speaker 2: to get Warner Brothers. Discovery. Looks like Netflix won the
- 37:09Speaker 2: bidding war to take over Warner Brothers, which includes a
- 37:13Speaker 2: lot of stuff. It includes HBO, it includes all kinds.
- 37:17Speaker 2: One of the reasons people want this company is the
- 37:20Speaker 2: Warner Brothers Studio is actually the biggest movie studio in Hollywood,
- 37:24Speaker 2: and it's a very important major production facility. And if
- 37:29Speaker 2: you're Netflix, you're making a lot of movies and TV
- 37:31Speaker 2: shows and all that kind of stuff. So you could
- 37:33Speaker 2: use that big studio. Also, you could use HBO, HBO Max,
- 37:38Speaker 2: all that stuff as a platform. There's a lot of
- 37:41Speaker 2: other stuff in CNN means absolutely nothing in this. It
- 37:45Speaker 2: doesn't make much money, it doesn't have any viewers. It's
- 37:48Speaker 2: a little tiny nothing thing in there. In fact, if
- 37:50Speaker 2: they could get rid of that in the deal, they would.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Netflix doesn't want it. But part of the deal Warner
- 37:59Speaker 2: Brothers discover if you buy the company, you got to
- 38:01Speaker 2: take CNN off our hands too. We don't want it either.
- 38:04Speaker 2: So although somebody buying this could maybe use it for something,
- 38:09Speaker 2: you know, you get rid of all the CNN stuff,
- 38:11Speaker 2: and it's still a cable network that's on all the
- 38:14Speaker 2: cable systems, but even that's not of much value nowadays.
- 38:17Speaker 2: So Netflix has won the bidding where now they may
- 38:20Speaker 2: still not get it. They may not get the deal
- 38:24Speaker 2: because the Trump administration would have to approve all of
- 38:26Speaker 2: this and they could block it. There's all sorts of
- 38:28Speaker 2: reasons to block the Netflix deal. I mean good business reasons.
- 38:32Speaker 2: It's too much of a monopoly and it would create
- 38:36Speaker 2: too big of one streaming service, so it could be
- 38:40Speaker 2: held up. And that means Paramount, who was the second
- 38:43Speaker 2: place bidder, could just raise their numbers a little and
- 38:47Speaker 2: get it. So they're still in the running. But if
- 38:50Speaker 2: Trump's mad at them over sixty minutes, that's not going
- 38:53Speaker 2: to help. The price now is like thirty dollars a year.
- 38:57Speaker 2: This will go to thirty five dollars a year because
- 39:01Speaker 2: you can spin off a lot of these cable assets
- 39:03Speaker 2: and probably get another three four dollars this year. So
- 39:07Speaker 2: don't be so sure Netflix gets it, and don't be
- 39:10Speaker 2: so sure the price doesn't go up in the end. Hey,
- 39:14Speaker 2: the New York Jets, there are a lot of Jets
- 39:19Speaker 2: fans out there, die hard Jets fans, been going on
- 39:22Speaker 2: their whole life. They love the Jets. You could try
- 39:26Speaker 2: to reason with them. It's like people with Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 39:29Speaker 2: You can't reason with them. It's the same thing with
- 39:34Speaker 2: the Mets. Mets fans, but every so often the Mets
- 39:38Speaker 2: get pretty good. Every so often the Mets are in
- 39:41Speaker 2: the playoffs in the World Series. Every so often but
- 39:44Speaker 2: with the Jets, nothing good ever happens. If you're going
- 39:49Speaker 2: to be a Jets fan, you're just asking for heartbreak
- 39:54Speaker 2: and heartache. And so they just got eliminated from the
- 39:58Speaker 2: playoffs yesterday, eliminated from a playoffs every year for fifteen years.
- 40:05Speaker 8: Now.
- 40:05Speaker 2: If you look back at the history of the Jets,
- 40:07Speaker 2: you got Joe Namath, You've got great Jets teams, you
- 40:10Speaker 2: got some great So what's the problem. It's one guy.
- 40:15Speaker 2: It's Woody Johnson, who's a very nice guy. He's a
- 40:18Speaker 2: friend of mine. I like the guy, but he's the
- 40:22Speaker 2: worst owner in the history of sports. He is a
- 40:27Speaker 2: great guy in real life. He's a generous guy. He's
- 40:31Speaker 2: done a lot of public service. He's a good guy.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Woody Johnson. He has no business owning a football team.
- 40:39Speaker 2: He's not just a bad owner. Everybody agrees. I'm not
- 40:42Speaker 2: an expert, but you talk to all the greatest football
- 40:45Speaker 2: expert sports experts, they all agree. He's the single worst
- 40:49Speaker 2: owner in the history of sports. This is the worst
- 40:53Speaker 2: franchise in the history of sports. There are people in
- 40:56Speaker 2: the professional sports football world saying that they should come
- 41:01Speaker 2: up with something in the NFL world where an owner
- 41:05Speaker 2: can be eliminated if he's that bad. In other words,
- 41:08Speaker 2: you know, they're very careful who they give the team to.
- 41:10Speaker 2: To become an NFL owner is like the ultimate club
- 41:13Speaker 2: of the world. To be accepted there. But there should
- 41:16Speaker 2: be some mechanism if a guy turns out to be
- 41:18Speaker 2: the worst owner on earth and it's hopeless, total disaster,
- 41:23Speaker 2: that the NFL can make him sell the team. There
- 41:25Speaker 2: should be something like that for a case like this.
- 41:27Speaker 2: This guy is so unbelievably horrendously bad as an owner. Now,
- 41:33Speaker 2: he bought the team for this is years ago for
- 41:37Speaker 2: about six hundred million. It's now worth I think it's
- 41:41Speaker 2: eight billion, but some are saying it's worth ten billion.
- 41:44Speaker 2: So if he's forced to sell, he would make like
- 41:48Speaker 2: a nine and a half million a billion, nine and
- 41:51Speaker 2: a half billion dollar profit. So I mean, if you
- 41:55Speaker 2: forced him to sell it, it's a great thing for
- 41:57Speaker 2: him too. I mean, he should be very happy. What's
- 42:00Speaker 2: the point of owning a team? Well, some people have
- 42:04Speaker 2: just really loved football in sports and they want to
- 42:06Speaker 2: they're really into Now this guy's that came. I think
- 42:08Speaker 2: it's more of a social thing. To be an NFL
- 42:11Speaker 2: team owner is quite an honor it's the highest honor
- 42:16Speaker 2: there is for a billionaire. But also it's a great thing.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Every Sunday, you host everybody in your big, huge suite.
- 42:24Speaker 2: You invite fifty one hundred friends. It's quite a thing.
- 42:27Speaker 2: So now you might be saying, well, wait a minute,
- 42:30Speaker 2: maybe he really is a great, great lover of football.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I don't think so. I mean, if he was that
- 42:36Speaker 2: into football, he'd know what he was doing. I mean,
- 42:39Speaker 2: nobody is worse at running, so it's pretty obvious he
- 42:42Speaker 2: doesn't know anything about football. And he spent money. He
- 42:48Speaker 2: goes out and gets these great players, sometimes Aaron Rodgers
- 42:50Speaker 2: and others. But you'll notice whenever they get a great
- 42:53Speaker 2: player and bring him in, they ruin the guy. I
- 42:56Speaker 2: don't care how good a quarterback you are, you are
- 42:58Speaker 2: ruined when you come to the Jets. It's the worst
- 43:02Speaker 2: team in the history of sports. Just for the good
- 43:05Speaker 2: of New York, for the good of football. He's got
- 43:09Speaker 2: to sell the team. You gotta sell. I know, it's
- 43:14Speaker 2: maybe make some kind of deal. You can still have
- 43:16Speaker 2: the luxury suite every week and invite all your friends
- 43:19Speaker 2: or something.
- 43:19Speaker 13: But.
- 43:23Speaker 2: You gotta sell the team. It would be the only
- 43:26Speaker 2: decent thing to do for Jets fans. Put them out
- 43:29Speaker 2: of their misery anyway, he's speaking of sports. Don Mattingly
- 43:34Speaker 2: did not make the Hall of Fame again this year.
- 43:36Speaker 2: That's like seven years in a row. He doesn't get
- 43:39Speaker 2: voted in or the Hall of Fame. That's not right. So, mom, Donnie,
- 43:44Speaker 2: his new plan now is no more sweeps, homeless sweeps.
- 43:50Speaker 2: You know, under Eric Adams, especially in the last year,
- 43:52Speaker 2: you'll notice you don't see a lot of homeless people
- 43:54Speaker 2: all You'll see one here and there, but you don't
- 43:57Speaker 2: see homeless camps. You don't see any of that. They've
- 43:59Speaker 2: been cleaning it up. It's a great, great plan, mom,
- 44:02Speaker 2: Donnie is going to eliminate that. He's going to allow
- 44:05Speaker 2: the homeless encampments. Being a crazy left wing socialist.
- 44:09Speaker 4: The issue with the encampment sweeps is that they are
- 44:12Speaker 4: simply pushing New Yorkers who are living in the cold
- 44:16Speaker 4: to another place where they will live in the cold.
- 44:18Speaker 4: In three hundred and sixty five days of twenty twenty four,
- 44:21Speaker 4: this administration did not connect a single New Yorker affected
- 44:25Speaker 4: by these sweeps with permanent housing. That is a failure.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so that could be, but of course that's not.
- 44:33Speaker 2: There's two problems. One, you want to do something about
- 44:36Speaker 2: the homeless, get them some place to live. But the
- 44:39Speaker 2: other problem is you want to protect the area where
- 44:42Speaker 2: the camp is, if it's a Union Square or if
- 44:44Speaker 2: it's a wherever it is, if it's thirty fourth and fifth,
- 44:50Speaker 2: you don't want a homeless camp. Or you want to
- 44:51Speaker 2: protect the neighborhood, the block, the buildings. You get rid
- 44:54Speaker 2: of the homeless encampment. You've got to get rid of it,
- 44:57Speaker 2: otherwise you ruin the neighborhood. You do tremendous damage to businesses, apartments,
- 45:01Speaker 2: economic damage. It creates chaos. It's pretty obvious. And he
- 45:06Speaker 2: says that the homeless were never connected to permanent house.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Well that doesn't you know, Just get them off the street,
- 45:12Speaker 2: find them someplace. It doesn't have to be permanent. You
- 45:14Speaker 2: can work on that later.
- 45:15Speaker 14: If you are not connecting homeless New Yorkers to the
- 45:18Speaker 14: housing that they so desperately need, then you cannot deem
- 45:22Speaker 14: anything you're doing to be a success. We are going
- 45:25Speaker 14: to take an approach that understands its mission is connecting
- 45:29Speaker 14: those New Yorkers to housing, whether it's supportive housing, whether
- 45:32Speaker 14: it's rental housing, whatever kind of housing.
- 45:34Speaker 2: It is, well, see no, not really. Job number one
- 45:37Speaker 2: is clean up the street, clean up the chaos. That
- 45:40Speaker 2: was part of the plan. At some point you could
- 45:42Speaker 2: find them permanent housing. You know, you could say, well
- 45:44Speaker 2: what about the shelters. First of all, clean up the shelters.
- 45:48Speaker 2: You know, remember Deblasio would inspect the shelter and he'd say, well,
- 45:51Speaker 2: people can't go here. It's got rodents, it's got crime. Well,
- 45:57Speaker 2: as Juliani showed, you can fix that. You come in
- 46:00Speaker 2: next day with an army of exterminators, get rid of
- 46:04Speaker 2: the rodents, You come in with a bunch of security
- 46:07Speaker 2: and get rid of the You can do that now
- 46:09Speaker 2: they find. The other thing is the homeless will not
- 46:11Speaker 2: go into the shelters. They won't stay in the shelters.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Why because you're not allowed to use drugs, you're not
- 46:18Speaker 2: allowed to drink in there. Now, most of the homeless,
- 46:21Speaker 2: they're vast majority. It's not about economics, it's about addiction.
- 46:26Speaker 2: They're addicts drugs, alcohol, crack whatever. That's why they're out there.
- 46:31Speaker 2: But Adams is pretty good with his sweep the streets.
- 46:34Speaker 2: If he's stating he's.
- 46:35Speaker 7: No longer going to implement a smart policy on our part,
- 46:40Speaker 7: New Yorkers are about to see the repercussions of that.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Now again why Democrats are incapable of learning anything.
- 46:50Speaker 2: They've done this in other cities where they don't do
- 46:53Speaker 2: the homeless sweeps, they leave the encampment. It's about twenty
- 46:55Speaker 2: other cities have tried this every single time. It's absolutely disaster.
- 47:01Speaker 2: So you've tested it twenty times. It's a total disaster.
- 47:04Speaker 2: How could you not learn anything from the tests? But
- 47:07Speaker 2: that's Democrats left wing. They don't learn. You know, even
- 47:12Speaker 2: germs learn germs actually, you know, they learn. They changed.
- 47:18Speaker 2: They they you know, you get a virus, it mutates,
- 47:21Speaker 2: They know how to mutate. Change. Democrats forget it. They
- 47:25Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 47:26Speaker 7: We stated it was inhumane for people to live on
- 47:29Speaker 7: the streets, human waste, drug path finalia, a schizophrenic bipolar
- 47:34Speaker 7: living on our subways, living in our streets. We say, no,
- 47:37Speaker 7: you deserve to be inside with care. Now, if he's
- 47:40Speaker 7: stating he's no longer going to implement a smart policy
- 47:45Speaker 7: on our part, New Yorkers are going to see the
- 47:48Speaker 7: repercussions of that.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can't tell Mamdani anything. It's impossible. But
- 47:54Speaker 2: Adams has actually done a good job. Now, Randy Mastro,
- 47:58Speaker 2: he's the deputy first mayor, which means he really runs everything.
- 48:02Speaker 2: He runs city, all top guy. Randy Mastro. He was
- 48:06Speaker 2: first deputy mayor under Rudy Giuliani. So he's That's one
- 48:10Speaker 2: reason you saw everything change a year ago when Randy
- 48:12Speaker 2: Mastro came in. That's how everything got better and better
- 48:15Speaker 2: and better. But he's put in his resident resignation for
- 48:20Speaker 2: New Year's Eve. He leaves because the next day, New
- 48:23Speaker 2: Year's Day, Mom Donnie takes over the next day, how
- 48:29Speaker 2: bad will it get? I don't know.
- 48:32Speaker 3: You know.
- 48:34Speaker 2: One thing about mom Donnie. Like a lot of these guys,
- 48:36Speaker 2: and I remember, he's very, very very Deblasio. Like Deblasio.
- 48:41Speaker 2: You don't remember this, but he ran as a socialist.
- 48:43Speaker 2: He ran with all the same crazy kooky socialism, left
- 48:47Speaker 2: wing stuff. But as soon as he got elected, he
- 48:49Speaker 2: started cozying up to every billionaire in the city. Deblasio's
- 48:55Speaker 2: campaign was anti billionaire, but it remember it was about
- 48:57Speaker 2: there's two New York's, one for the zillionaires, one for
- 49:00Speaker 2: everybody else. We got to go after these billionaires. And
- 49:03Speaker 2: as soon as he got elected, de Blasio did go
- 49:07Speaker 2: after the billionaires, but in a different way. It's all
- 49:11Speaker 2: with my own eyes. Anytime he saw one of these billionaires,
- 49:14Speaker 2: you go right up to them, Hey, how are you
- 49:16Speaker 2: You have my cell number? No, let me give you
- 49:19Speaker 2: my cell number. They knew what that meant. They meant
- 49:21Speaker 2: that means you can call them anytime you need anything.
- 49:23Speaker 2: He'll take care of you, and they know what it means.
- 49:26Speaker 2: It means also, a guy's gonna call you every couple
- 49:28Speaker 2: of weeks and want some money a donation. That's normal.
- 49:34Speaker 2: The billionaire will get a call, can you do fifty? Yeah,
- 49:38Speaker 2: I can do fifty. It means fifty thousand, all right,
- 49:41Speaker 2: We'll tell you where to send it, and they'd give
- 49:43Speaker 2: you the name of a pack. They want you to
- 49:44Speaker 2: donate it too, And every couple of months you do that,
- 49:49Speaker 2: and then whenever you needed something, you could call well, mom.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Donnie has already started down this road. Now he claims
- 49:57Speaker 2: it's for his transition team, but he went around Mamdannian Company,
- 50:03Speaker 2: CosIng up to all the billionaires. He wanted to raise
- 50:05Speaker 2: some money for the transition team, and believe it or not,
- 50:09Speaker 2: in the last couple of weeks he raised four million
- 50:11Speaker 2: from these billionaires. He's been all over them and he's
- 50:16Speaker 2: continued to do it. He's been doing these private fundraisers
- 50:19Speaker 2: with billionaires. There was one in Michael, I can't pronounce
- 50:25Speaker 2: this guy's name, billionaire ceo crypto guy held a fundraiser
- 50:29Speaker 2: in his Greenwich Village home. The next day, Mam Donnie
- 50:32Speaker 2: was in a private Tribbee Tribeca home where the Hunt
- 50:36Speaker 2: oil eras Lee Hunt Hendricks, hosted another big fundraiser for him.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Two uptown events, one lower east Side. These are all zillionaires, billionaires,
- 50:48Speaker 2: thousand dollars a ticket, millions raised from these donors. Now,
- 50:53Speaker 2: what does the transition team need so much money for? Well,
- 50:57Speaker 2: as they said, most of the funds will go toward
- 51:00Speaker 2: office operations, which is fine, but that's more like forty
- 51:06Speaker 2: thousand to operate the office. You don't need four million
- 51:08Speaker 2: to do that. You really don't. So they were raising
- 51:12Speaker 2: millions and millions. That's a good sign. That's a good sign.
- 51:14Speaker 2: It means he's even more Deblasio like than we thought. Hey,
- 51:18Speaker 2: once again, here's the real estate report. Sales are booming
- 51:22Speaker 2: in New York. Don't think everybody's leaving. In the last month,
- 51:26Speaker 2: eight hundred and sixty nine contracts have been signed. In
- 51:30Speaker 2: the real high end, the super luxury four million dollar
- 51:33Speaker 2: plus apartment sales were very strong. Just last week, forty
- 51:38Speaker 2: one contracts were signed. That's a lot shows buyer confidence.
- 51:41Speaker 2: This is all since the election. Many skyscrapers are now
- 51:46Speaker 2: being going to be built. As I mentioned, JP Morgan
- 51:50Speaker 2: Chase just opened this four billion dollar unbelievable, unbelievable skyscraper
- 51:54Speaker 2: where ten thousand works. They're now looking for at least one,
- 51:57Speaker 2: maybe two new skyscrapers. They're going to build nearby on
- 52:01Speaker 2: the corner of fifty second and Park. They're tearing down
- 52:06Speaker 2: like four buildings there to build a ninety story skyscraper.
- 52:10Speaker 2: So these big real estate guys, they got a lot
- 52:12Speaker 2: of faith in New York City. And these guys are
- 52:16Speaker 2: that's how they got to be billionaires. They're always right
- 52:18Speaker 2: about this stuff. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight
- 52:20Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. Is the
- 52:24Speaker 2: number eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 52:29Speaker 1: This is to the Mark Simon Show. I'm seventen wrre Hey.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Oh, every year you know we do this. It's very important.
- 52:40Speaker 2: We raise money for Hunger Thon, which is a very
- 52:43Speaker 2: very good cause that they work really hard. They raise
- 52:46Speaker 2: money to feed the millions struggling with hunger, and they
- 52:49Speaker 2: do this great auction every year with great prizes. One
- 52:52Speaker 2: of the prizes is a visit to our show, our
- 52:57Speaker 2: studio right here. You can come spend some time. I'm
- 53:00Speaker 2: in the studio during the show. You can meet and
- 53:03Speaker 2: greet with me. It says, well, you can meet me,

- 54:19Speaker 2: slash iHeart, hungerthon dot org slash iHeart. Anyway, let's take
- 54:23Speaker 2: some calls. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Doing, Good morning, Malco, I'm okay, good morning, Marah Mark.
- 54:31Speaker 3: The first thing I want to say before I get
- 54:33Speaker 3: to my main point, Jessica Tish is going down the
- 54:36Speaker 3: wrong road. She apologized on behalf of her brother because
- 54:40Speaker 3: her brother had a Jewish philanthropic meeting said that Mondamie
- 54:46Speaker 3: was the enemy of the Jewish people. And she jumps
- 54:49Speaker 3: in and apologizes on his bef. I would never accept that.
- 54:53Speaker 3: I tell her now, I wouldn't vote for I'd vote
- 54:56Speaker 3: for the brother. Part of the problem with Mondamie's plan
- 54:59Speaker 3: is I get calls from the city and from the
- 55:02Speaker 3: federal government to rent to homeless people, to Section eight,
- 55:07Speaker 3: to drug addicts, to this, that and the other. And
- 55:10Speaker 3: the problem is is you rent to those people, and
- 55:14Speaker 3: they even guarantee that they're gonna pay you the rent
- 55:16Speaker 3: and everything. What happens to the other tenants when they're
- 55:20Speaker 3: in the building. What kind of a mess they're going
- 55:23Speaker 3: to make. My father years ago, almost fifty years ago,
- 55:27Speaker 3: in one of his buildings that he owned, very large
- 55:29Speaker 3: apartment building, he had a person or a woman who
- 55:33Speaker 3: was a degenerate. She was on welfare. She didn't pay
- 55:37Speaker 3: her rent for two years. My father finally got her
- 55:41Speaker 3: in court and house in court right and the judge
- 55:44Speaker 3: order and the city was going to pay, was going
- 55:47Speaker 3: to give her the money to pay the back rent.
- 55:49Speaker 3: To pay the back rent, she flipped the bird on
- 55:53Speaker 3: the judge, told the judge where to go, and the
- 55:56Speaker 3: judge is shoot in order. She flipped the bird. My
- 56:01Speaker 3: father winded up. He actually died before they could get
- 56:06Speaker 3: the tenant out and the new landlord who bought the building.
- 56:09Speaker 3: He eventually sold it because of this tenant. That's the
- 56:13Speaker 3: problem with these people. They have to live Mark in
- 56:17Speaker 3: a supervised dormitory where they have to get up at
- 56:21Speaker 3: a certain time where they have to to go to
- 56:23Speaker 3: work or.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Vincent, that's an excellent point. Excellent point.
- 56:26Speaker 3: We gotta go to the dormitory. Mark, they can't live
- 56:29Speaker 3: in regular housing.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Excellent call. As always, Vincent, thanks for calling. Hey. When
- 56:32Speaker 2: we come back, Miranda Divine will be with us next
- 56:36Speaker 2: lots to talk to her about coming up on seven
- 56:38Speaker 2: to ten wor in.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Mark on Demand by setting a presead for his podcast
- 56:45Speaker 1: on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark zimon on WOI.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Well, hey, Miranda Divine, I would say now the number
- 56:55Speaker 2: one biggest columnist in America. Of course, all our columns
- 56:59Speaker 2: in the New York Post site. Hey. Also, you know
- 57:01Speaker 2: she's the best selling author. If you haven't read the
- 57:03Speaker 2: book The Big Guy. This is all about Biden Hunter
- 57:06Speaker 2: the Biden administration. Joe, you got to get this book,
- 57:09Speaker 2: The Big Guy. It's a huge bestseller. If you need
- 57:11Speaker 2: a good Christmas present, the book The Big Guy by
- 57:15Speaker 2: Miranda Divine. Also she does one of the best podcasts around.
- 57:19Speaker 2: It's called pod Force one. You can get it wherever
- 57:23Speaker 2: you get a podcasts. And she's with us right now.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Miranda Divine. How you doing? Nope, I don't hear Miranda Divine.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Are you there? Oh there? You are great to talk
- 57:38Speaker 2: to you. Where do we even start? Hey, this pipe
- 57:42Speaker 2: bomber who tried to blow up the RNC and the DNC.
- 57:45Speaker 2: The Trump administration catches the guy. Three week investigation. It's great.
- 57:51Speaker 2: What happened For the last five years, nothing happened. Nobody
- 57:54Speaker 2: looked for the guy.
- 57:56Speaker 15: Well, I mean that's the big question. And I think cash,
- 58:00Speaker 15: Betel and Pambondi alluded to that when they said that
- 58:03Speaker 15: we had no new information, just fresh eyes, and the
- 58:08Speaker 15: information seemed to.
- 58:09Speaker 13: Be there right in front of them. When you look
- 58:12Speaker 13: at the.
- 58:14Speaker 15: Court documents the other day on Friday, when this guy,
- 58:18Speaker 15: Brian Cole Junior, was arraigned, it shows that they got
- 58:23Speaker 15: him through his cell phone. It pinned seven times on
- 58:28Speaker 15: that night of January five, twenty twenty one, around the
- 58:32Speaker 15: time that the surveillance cameras showed this gray hooded figure
- 58:38Speaker 15: wandering around planting pipe bombs just half a mile from
- 58:43Speaker 15: the Capitol and it's you know, the guy is seen
- 58:48Speaker 15: on his phone in these videos several times or the
- 58:52Speaker 15: person and the phone companies have said, yeah, there it is.
- 58:58Speaker 15: And they knew that back in eight of twenty twenty one,
- 59:01Speaker 15: at the latest, April of twenty twenty one, the FBI
- 59:04Speaker 15: had that information. But something strange happened to that investigation.
- 59:10Speaker 15: They had thirteen FBI special agents on the pipe bomb
- 59:14Speaker 15: case initially, and then they just they just deprioritized it.
- 59:20Speaker 15: I think, you know, Chris Ray ends up going before
- 59:24Speaker 15: the Senate on March the first and gets hammered by
- 59:29Speaker 15: Democrats demanding to know why he hasn't arrested more grandmothers
- 59:35Speaker 15: for trespassing outside the capital, more Trump supporters, And you know,
- 59:40Speaker 15: maybe it's as simple as that, but the FBI was
- 59:43Speaker 15: not looking for this pipe bomber because the answer was
- 59:48Speaker 15: staring them in the face. And they spent a lot
- 59:51Speaker 15: of resources doing a lot of stupid, well, I don't know, stupid,
- 59:55Speaker 15: but you know, difficult things, trying to track down you know,
- 1:00:00Speaker 15: who bought batteries nine volt batteries, and who bought you know,
- 1:00:05Speaker 15: the cap that was end cap on the pipelom et cetera.
- 1:00:08Speaker 15: When they were rounding up the grandmothers from J six
- 1:00:14Speaker 15: using cell.
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: Phone data, so very strange.
- 1:00:17Speaker 15: And then there was the case that the the FBI
- 1:00:22Speaker 15: guy in charge of the whole investigation, the head of
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: the Washington FBI Field Office, a guy retired now Stephen
- 1:00:29Speaker 15: Duane Tutwono. He testified to Congress and in a closed
- 1:00:36Speaker 15: door hearing and he said, oh, we got some some
- 1:00:40Speaker 15: of this cell phone data, but.
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: It was corrupted. Maybe the culprit was, you know, in
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: that cell phone data.
- 1:00:46Speaker 15: And yet the cell phone companies said no, no, we
- 1:00:49Speaker 15: didn't hand over anything that was corrupted, and the FBI
- 1:00:53Speaker 15: never complained that.
- 1:00:54Speaker 13: It was corrupted. So that's another little mystery.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Is it this simple that when they looked at this
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: pipe bombing case because he tried to blow up the
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: RNC and the DNC, that it was pretty clear it
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: was not going to turn out to be a Trump supporter,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: so it didn't fit the narrative, so they just let
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: it go for that reason.
- 1:01:12Speaker 15: Yes, and maybe they knew that the suspect was a
- 1:01:15Speaker 15: young black man at the time, he would have been
- 1:01:17Speaker 15: twenty five and probably not a MAGA supporter.
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: Didn't fit with their narrative.
- 1:01:24Speaker 15: That January six was an insurrection committed by ultra maga
- 1:01:28Speaker 15: white supremacists. You know, Joe Biden dined out on that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 13: For the next four years.
- 1:01:34Speaker 15: They thought that January six was the nail in the
- 1:01:38Speaker 15: coffin of Trump's career prospects, and then they just to
- 1:01:41Speaker 15: make sure, they decided to bang eighty one different indictments
- 1:01:46Speaker 15: on him, and none of it worked. And now they're
- 1:01:51Speaker 15: in trouble and about to be found out. Not that
- 1:01:53Speaker 15: they really care because five years.
- 1:01:55Speaker 13: Have gone past almost and I.
- 1:01:59Speaker 15: Guess they figured they're home free.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but they always think they got the nail in
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: the coffin. They think the Epstein file that's the nail
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: in the coffin, the Narco boats, that's They're always wrong
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: every time. How Come they don't learn from their.
- 1:02:11Speaker 15: Mistakes because they actually get benefit from them. Oh, because
- 1:02:16Speaker 15: they don't destroy him, but they certainly knock off a
- 1:02:20Speaker 15: bit of support. You know, suddenly people start grumbling the
- 1:02:23Speaker 15: White House needs to turn its attention to refuting the lies.
- 1:02:28Speaker 15: It's just it's all about tying him down. I always
- 1:02:31Speaker 15: think of Donald Trump as like you know, Gulliver and
- 1:02:35Speaker 15: Gulliver's troubles and he's got all the little midgets just
- 1:02:38Speaker 15: tying him down, and he breaks free. He always breaks free,
- 1:02:42Speaker 15: or or he's like the bull in the ring and
- 1:02:45Speaker 15: the little guys come out come of what they're called.
- 1:02:48Speaker 15: But they throw the darts at him and the spears
- 1:02:51Speaker 15: and just weaking him up before the Matador, And of
- 1:02:54Speaker 15: course the Matador is an old broken down hack which
- 1:02:57Speaker 15: was Joe Biden. But by that stage their damage had
- 1:03:01Speaker 15: been done. You know, they do inflict Don Trump, which
- 1:03:04Speaker 15: stands a lot, but he does get batter than bruised
- 1:03:07Speaker 15: because he's human. And this is what they do when
- 1:03:11Speaker 15: it works for them, and they're just playing the same
- 1:03:14Speaker 15: old playbook with a few different characters.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Huh, that's interesting. Now, whatever you have mad at Trump
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: for the blowing up the Narco boats, whatever it is,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Biden Obama did exactly the same thing with drone strikes. Whatever,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: whatever you're pointing to, you can point to the Biden
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: did it, Obama did it. How Come that doesn't register
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: with MSNBC.
- 1:03:34Speaker 15: Viewers, Oh, because they just call it what about ism
- 1:03:39Speaker 15: and they just focus on the outrage in front of them.
- 1:03:42Speaker 13: Yeah, it's an.
- 1:03:44Speaker 15: Old worn playbook and luckily MS now as they call
- 1:03:49Speaker 15: themselves just have you know, dwindling the audience and dwindling influence,
- 1:03:55Speaker 15: and the same with CNN. So I mean there's fewer
- 1:04:00Speaker 15: people that they can propagandaze. I thought it was rather
- 1:04:03Speaker 15: disturbing in that FBI report I wrote about last week
- 1:04:07Speaker 15: from a group of sort of whistleblower type people. They
- 1:04:13Speaker 15: said that every television in the different field offices at
- 1:04:18Speaker 15: the FBI is tuned into MS NOW and CNN, but
- 1:04:25Speaker 15: never Fox and so they've got that steady drone. It
- 1:04:30Speaker 15: is like propaganda. It's like Radio Rwanda before the Civil war.
- 1:04:35Speaker 15: You know, you just keep on the drum beat the
- 1:04:37Speaker 15: other side. They're evil, they're doing bad things.
- 1:04:41Speaker 13: Donald Trump's a monster.
- 1:04:43Speaker 15: And you know you get that pumped into your head
- 1:04:45Speaker 15: twenty four to seven or every minute that you're at work,
- 1:04:48Speaker 15: and then you go home and do the same thing.
- 1:04:51Speaker 13: It has to have an effect.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, the story was the good men and women
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: in the FBI. It was just a bad left wing
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: cooks on the ninth floor there with Cami. But now
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: we're hearing there were a lot of left wing cooks
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: in the ranks put there by Muller and call me
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: through the years, I think you.
- 1:05:06Speaker 15: Reported that, Yes, yes, and you know it's because it
- 1:05:11Speaker 15: was a deliberate decision by Muller. I'm not sure he
- 1:05:13Speaker 15: particularly wanted lefties, but he certainly wanted university educated agents,
- 1:05:19Speaker 15: and so he really revolutionized the ranks. And when you
- 1:05:25Speaker 15: bring in people from the universities who've done soft social sciences,
- 1:05:29Speaker 15: inevitably they're going to be propagandized lefties. And that changed
- 1:05:34Speaker 15: the tenor I'm told from some old hands of the.
- 1:05:38Speaker 13: Bureau.
- 1:05:39Speaker 15: And then, of course Comy was a bad guy, and
- 1:05:44Speaker 15: they started to prioritize high So of all the professions,
- 1:05:51Speaker 15: of all the university educated professions, who are the most
- 1:05:56Speaker 15: left wing, well, you'd have social workers and teachers, and
- 1:06:00Speaker 15: they prioritized teachers. So there you have it, and teachers
- 1:06:04Speaker 15: have got the added disadvantage.
- 1:06:08Speaker 13: There are great teachers.
- 1:06:09Speaker 15: I Am never going to take that away from them,
- 1:06:11Speaker 15: but they would know themselves, and they tell me themselves
- 1:06:15Speaker 15: that they are surrounded by lefties who are also very
- 1:06:18Speaker 15: arrogant because they're used to having classrooms of children who
- 1:06:22Speaker 15: they can command, and so they waltzed into the FBI
- 1:06:26Speaker 15: like they own the place.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Interesting. Well, Miranda Devine, great work as always. Now you
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: do Pod Force one. You should listen to our podcast,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Pod Force one. Who's on the next.
- 1:06:37Speaker 15: Episode, Well, on Wednesday, we're talking to Hami Dillon, who's
- 1:06:42Speaker 15: Assistant Attorney General, who's in charge of the Civil Rights
- 1:06:45Speaker 15: Division at the DOJ. And she is amazing, talk about
- 1:06:50Speaker 15: she would be one of the best warriors in the administration.
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: For the good things.
- 1:06:56Speaker 15: She's against big tech, censorship and all sorts of government
- 1:06:59Speaker 15: own reached. She's waded in where others fear to tread.
- 1:07:04Speaker 13: And she's also voter integrity.
- 1:07:06Speaker 15: That's one of her big things and I think she's
- 1:07:09Speaker 15: going to do a lot of good. There are a
- 1:07:11Speaker 15: lot of states are resisting her demands that they hand
- 1:07:14Speaker 15: over their voter rolls to make sure that they're clean,
- 1:07:18Speaker 15: but are knowing her, she'll make sure she gets it
- 1:07:20Speaker 15: all done.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and before Wednesday, you know what, Go listen to
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: the past episodes of Podforce one with President Trump with
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Scott Besson's great.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:31Speaker 15: The latest one's Ron Johnson right interesting on quite a
- 1:07:35Speaker 15: few on Russia Gate and interestingly on he's got to
- 1:07:39Speaker 15: be in his bonnet about Tower seven at the World
- 1:07:42Speaker 15: Trade Center, so, which is interesting because it did blow
- 1:07:46Speaker 15: up in a weird way, and we do know that
- 1:07:48Speaker 15: there were CIA and FBI flaws.
- 1:07:50Speaker 13: There was lots of files.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Well, everybody, go listen to Podforce one the podcast wherever
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: you get your podcasts. Hey, and get the book if
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: you haven't read it yet, The Big Guy by Miranda
