  Welcome back to my shorter attention span podcast.

  This has been a lot of fun for me doing these here smaller podcasts for everybody,

  getting some thoughts into my head and then just spitting them out there in a shorter format.

  I want to talk a little bit about dedication and I don't care what that dedication is.

  We're all dedicated to something Whatever that may be I know a friend who Is
• 0:34
  a runner, like a real marathon Runner, runs all these marathons And all, and I had The, you know.

  The privilege of watching her. She sent me a link, this tracker link basically.

  Now it wasn't a big marathon. It was a, I believe a 26 mile run.

  And, but I was amazed at just watching, you know, the little figure on the course

  and being able to follow her and just say, wow, what is it about running that's so important to you?

  And it's just a dedication to her.

  So there's many things that we can be dedicated to That we just do every day

  And I don't think it gets appreciated enough,

  I think Because some of us do amazing stuff Like the running or whatever it may be that you're into,

  But you focus all of your energy in it And you give it your best You give it
• 1:32
  all of your cosmic energy And it flows into that,
• 1:38
  Thing that you do The one thing that makes you happy And You're doing it for
• 1:44
  yourself And that is what makes me smile Because like I said we don't need to,
• 1:50
  Worry about what other people Think about what we do How we do it and all that
• 1:55
  If somebody supports it and is appreciative To it hey that's great I can get
• 2:01
  behind that But when it's something you do Solely because you do it And for
• 2:07
  no other reason than that.

  That, my friends, is amazing. And that is what makes you special.

  And that is what makes whatever it is you do so important to you. So keep doing it.

  Keep being that person. Keep being the one who admires your own work. Get out there. Run.

  Do sports. Do whatever it is that you are dedicating your life to.

  And you are going to go places.
