And coming to you. Coming to you live from an old woman's house on
• 0:22
a hill where the prodigal Sun is currently sleeping and Kristen's allergic to kitties.
• 0:32
Sports Allegedly, I have a chance to career either. But everyone to this
• 0:37
episode of sports allegedly on this day set I remember, on this September Day
• 0:44
twenty nine, two thousand and twenty three. Thanks for joining us, Christ
• 0:49
into my right seawan across the way. Well, you know, we just
• 0:52
came back from an exhilarating high school football game. Shelton Dragons pulled team that
• 0:58
was not supposed to win a game, finally started passing like they should have
• 1:02
and and pulled out a nice I like the three man set at the end.
• 1:06
Towards the end of the game. I got to say that it is
• 1:08
because Zach Weast is finally on the field. I call him the same.
• 1:17
But yes, congratulations, Dax and his teammates had a good a good way
• 1:19
tonight, and it was I got. I got tryed to lose it.
• 1:23
They tried. I got made fun of for jumping up and down when they
• 1:26
scored that tachdown at the end from the girls behind us. They're like Cepe
• 1:30
jump. I was playing mini cheerleader over there. But anyway, well,
• 1:33
you're not really a mini cheerleader. You're more of an extra maxi cheerleader.
• 1:37
I meant like. It wasn't like a small cheerleader. I meant like a
• 1:41
a different whatever. Let's move on. Let's talk about something that pissed me
• 1:46
off the most last weekend. The Dallas Cowboys. We're gonna start riding NFL
• 1:51
because let listen, and I thought about it, and and I know,
• 1:55
and I thought, and I thought, and last week I opened with the
• 1:57
Cowboys because I drank that kool aid. I lapped it up. I lapped
• 2:04
it up. But I thought this could be their years. And I brought
• 2:09
up they have a great defense, but their offense was lacking. Well,
• 2:14
we've been saying that for years, and I think that it switched that last
• 2:17
this last week. I think the defense went downhill in the offense. No,
• 2:22
the defense just played a normal every other defense, like every other team
• 2:25
in the league plays their defense. And the offense still couldn't score in the
• 2:30
red zone like they have an all year. We're still throwing picks with that.
• 2:32
It's still just horrible decision. Yes, I pulled up all college before,
• 2:38
because I thought we were going to pull up the stat the box scoring
• 2:39
that game. Well no, and honestly, what killed them. And I
• 2:44
know where Shawn's coming from on the defense because the Cardinals and Josh Dubbs,
• 2:52
I mean, they're scoring points left at night, journeyman quarterback. It looks
• 2:55
good doing it. I mean, this was the team that everyone pick the
• 3:00
Cardinals to be the last place team I have. They were supposed to have
• 3:05
two number one picks right in the top five. I think we had him
• 3:07
picked under the Bears. Well yeah, I had the Bears pick second.
• 3:10
We'll talk about that later. No so, no so, And then you
• 3:15
had the Cardinals, who we thought would be that number one pick. And
• 3:17
then they've got Houston's pick, and we thought that'd be two or three.
• 3:21
Both teams are surprising. C J. Stroud for Houston looking better than what
• 3:27
I anticipated him. They had a good win last week, Cardinals beat the
• 3:30
Cowboys, and but then but you think about it, and but Sean's right,
• 3:34
beginning of the game, Dobbs and the and the Cardinals run up and
• 3:38
down on them early in the game, and then you have up halftime,
• 3:45
sorry, well half times wanting to see that's right here. So twenty so,
• 3:52
uh yeah, down just so good, you can read it twenty one
• 3:55
so it was seventeen twenty one nine yards averaging nine yards. He played a
• 4:00
pretty damn good game. He played. He played in a fishing very completely,
• 4:06
didn't make mistakes. And then you look at Dak he had twenty five
• 4:09
or forty two forty nine, which his average. The yards were better than
• 4:14
Dobbs, but he had an interception and uh he did have one touchdown.
• 4:17
Quarterback rating at seventy eight, but Dobbs was consistent. You know, Paulard
• 4:21
ran the ball, but you look at Dobbs, and that's another thing that
• 4:26
we didn't give Dobbs a lot of credit. Forty fifty five yards rushing,
• 4:30
uh in the game, so average seven four, seven foot four carries for
• 4:32
the Cardinals. Let's gonna have a little bit though, Sean. As you
• 4:35
moved down, let's look at the The receiving was pretty good, but Hollywood
• 4:41
Brown had to down to the defense. I want that's that was the thing
• 4:44
I talked about twenty one to ten a half Cardinals up. And the Cardinals
• 4:48
kind of had that game, I mean right out of the gate, and
• 4:51
you just and even Destiny was like, god, you know, big Cowboys
• 4:56
fan she is, was like, we're gonna blow this, and I was
• 4:59
like, well, surely not. Just give it time. It eerily reminded
• 5:01
me of the Cowboys or I'm sorry. They had Cardinals and Giants the week
• 5:04
before. I think they went up what fourteen or twenty one to nothing against
• 5:09
the Giants. Giants came back, ended up winning late or even even over
• 5:12
  time. I don't remember that game. It's a sloppy, but I kind
• 5:16
of thought that Dallas would come back. Well. The difference this past week
• 5:21
versus the other weeks is there defense didn't score fourteen or twenty one points like
• 5:27
they have every other week. I mean that the defense not scoring. You're
• 5:30
not that Dallas team that we've been watching. Yeah, because because they have
• 5:35
to. Half the points that they got this year has come from their defense.
• 5:39
If the defense doesn't score, their offense isn't apt. They can't do
• 5:43
it well. So there's been so they went down red zone numerous times,
• 5:46
didn't score, got some film goal that was a turnover free. That was
• 5:49
a turnover free game for the Cardinals. Yeah, no turn interceptions, no
• 5:54
fumbles. Good and and what it was was It was just they kind of
• 6:00
played good defense, had afishing offense towards end of the game. I think,
• 6:03
Sean, if you look back, yeah, they scored a late touchdown
• 6:06
to kind of just to seal that and it was closed. I mean,
• 6:10
you get after the third quarter, it's thirteen twenty one and I'm thinking,
• 6:14
oh, yeah, here we go, Dalla's gonna go down drive stall Stall
• 6:17
had a turnover stall And so now didn't they start off with the safety and
• 6:23
then at the beginning of the game, I didn't see it. I didn't
• 6:26
get to catch the beginning. And you might be right because of the nine,
• 6:29
but my whole point was was the obviously the inefficiency of the red zone
• 6:35
offense. Obviously that was number one, but then you saw the defense not
• 6:40
have the turnovers like it was. But in reality, you've got a team
• 6:44
that's not playing with their starting quarterback in Arizona that continues to look better than
• 6:49
we all thought, played efficient ball, and and every time that the Cowboys
• 6:56
been trying to answer Cardinals to go down either score field goal or they'd make
• 7:00
a stop. So they filled they filled the kick good for two gotcha?
• 7:06
So no, I mean I bought into it. Yeah, two point conversion
• 7:11
film. I bought into it, and you did, you really did.
• 7:15
And it was very surprising that you bought into it that early in this season.
• 7:19
And so let's talk about who I'm buying into. Now. I've only
• 7:26
bought into the quarterback. But yes, now this could be and we'll know
• 7:31
after this week. I think a little bit. We might not know everything,
• 7:34
but we're going to know something about the Dolphins. And I just have
• 7:38
to say, I have to say that that exact same thing would have happened,
• 7:42
probably worse if they had played the Bears. No, I don't think
• 7:45
so, I do. I do. I would have been even worse.
• 7:47
Their defense would have had more turnovers. This was strictly an offensive game.
• 7:53
Oh they I mean they had some turnovers. They had that one game.
• 7:57
What I mean is Russell Wilson, and I don't remember the one play there
• 8:00
was a seat Russell and to have played almost the exact same game, We'll
• 8:03
pull that up because I think you're a little lost, because I think the
• 8:07
most had a fumble. You got to remember too, it come out early.
• 8:11
I mean he didn't play the whole game. I didn't know that because
• 8:13
I didn't watch it the second the second team was kicking their ass and yeah,
• 8:16
the second team I think maybe, yeah, hell yeah. That just
• 8:22
proved my point. Now, no, no, no, what I've I've
• 8:26
been talking for Tua for I don't know years, and it's finally. I
• 8:31
mentioned last year that Tuah had MVP numbers before his injury. He's now got
• 8:35
MVP numbers. They were, they were pretty much the same. They've got
• 8:39
MVP MVP numbers this year. He is the MVP right now too, is
• 8:46
no doubt. There's no one else that could compare whatever we want to talk
• 8:50
about that he is. He is the leader in the clubhouse. Now.
• 8:54
What they have done, obviously is their defense. They need to continue to
• 9:00
play better. We're gonna see it the Bills this week. They're they're they're
• 9:03
a plus three, so they're they're not they're dogs this week against the Buffalo
• 9:09
Bills, who the Buffalo Bills quietly are playing really good football, even though
• 9:13
after that first week we lost. You know of those slow starts a lot
• 9:18
of these teams have, and but didn't you think that game though the Jets,
• 9:22
everything just went in their direction. I mean, it was just everything
• 9:26
went wrong for the Bills and everything just kind of didn't go real right,
• 9:31
obviously with the Rogers injury, but I mean the Bills couldn't get anything going.
• 9:35
They've kind of kept that up. But the Dolphins, I mean,
• 9:39
I like it. I hope that their defense can keep up. And Jaylen
• 9:43
Waters didn't even play in this game, so he's supposedly cleared from cash protocol.
• 9:48
He was injured. He had his ye Mike White. And the most
• 9:54
unfortunate thing about this whole thing, though, is if you look back up
• 9:56
the schedule, sean move up to the NFL's kitch. I think that's an
• 10:00
early game. Yeah, that's a twelve. That's a noon kickoff for the
• 10:03
best game on In my opinion, the best game on the schedule this week
• 10:07
will be the Dolphins this week. They can't. You gotta get into a
• 10:13
while. I think it's like week eight to ten. I think when you
• 10:16
get the bye week started is when it's a week eight to ten or ten
• 10:20
to twelve or something. Yeah, there's a bunch of rules not gonna go
• 10:22
over because every network's got some different flexes. With the NFL that comes to
• 10:26
the prime they can start to flex later and then you get the Sunday night
• 10:31
games and stuff like that. No, they couldn't flex this in obviously,
• 10:33
but pull up, Shawn as you go across that scoreboard, let's see what
• 10:37
we've got as far as the night games. Now, one team I want
• 10:41
to talk a little bit about that's impressed me is the Browns. I know
• 10:45
we're not all fans of Deshaun Watson, even though I said he used their
• 10:50
defense. Jim Schwartz, give him credit. New defensive coordinator. That guy
• 10:54
has always been a good coordinator. Not was It wasn't a great head Detroit,
• 10:58
uh J Johnson, but he Uh. You can tell that team statistically
• 11:03
leads most of the categories in the NFL, and they're right there overall defense.
• 11:09
I think Sean we looked at forty nine, Ers was number one still
• 11:11
in the overall defense, and the leaving them and the and the Browns were
• 11:15
right there at number two. So a little bit of a surprise. The
• 11:18
Denver and Chicago are way down at the BA A little bit of surprise.
• 11:22
Really, you don't say so, but so I mean. And then this
• 11:26
week there's an overall the Bears fans out there, this is the Bears catt.
• 11:30
This week we're gonna watch now you talk about Dallas. Let's move back
• 11:33
to Dallas a little bit as we preview. I mean, we've already talked
• 11:35
about what ship play that last last week. Let's talk about this week.
• 11:39
Interesting game they have with the Patriots. The Patriots has been in both both
• 11:45
of the losses, they have been there right at the end with a chance
• 11:46
to win. I could see Dallas losing this one. I really could well.
• 11:50
I like Patriots defense. I mean, obviously, I You've got Belichick,
• 11:54
He's always a defensive minded guy. There's been some chatter about Matt Jones.
• 11:56
Have you seen a ready of this about the NEGA TV coming out?
• 12:00
There's a lot of bitching about him within internally in the organization. I don't
• 12:03
know what's going on. Nobody really knows. Rumors obviously, allegedly a lot
• 12:07
of rumors going on. But their offense has been stagnant as far as scoring
• 12:13
is. So. They supposed to have ezekiel Elliott and Ezekiela is still supposed
• 12:18
to be a premier runner he allegedly to certain people. But that was something.
• 12:20
But that was some of the talk they had about Dallas last week in
• 12:22
the red zone that they thought, I mean, you heard the chatter.
• 12:26
You've seen it on Twitter? Uh or extra U is that they missed Zeke
• 12:33
Jones in or Elliott? I mean they missed Zeke Elliott in Those reds are
• 12:37
red zone conditions. I mean, I don't know what you're saying right now,
• 12:41
Zeke Jones, Ezekiel Elliott. Ze Jones was a blues artist, Okay,
• 12:50
no, Ezekiel Elliott. Sorry they they there was there was chatter that
• 12:54
they had missed him and that was the problem in the red zone. And
• 12:56
I thought, well, he was kind of a bruiser back, you know,
• 12:58
get one to three yards, were down the defense and then you throw
• 13:01
it. But I don't really think that was the issue. Now Dallas they
• 13:05
got Pollard. I think they need to do something else on the running They
• 13:07
need that. Well do you notice that I noticed this a lot last week
• 13:11
when I was watching they Well, here's no what's the other what's the other
• 13:16
running backs name that they got right now besides Deuce and Pollard? Uh?
• 13:20
Anyway, Pollard would get down and make it buster good run, get ten,
• 13:26
twelve, fifteen, twenty yards and get him down in the red zone
• 13:28
and then they give him the ball again the very next play. And he'd
• 13:31
get him down inside the ten and then they'd have to pull him out,
• 13:35
rest him because he had two runs to get him there, and then they
• 13:37
would put in thirty four the running back. They yeah, well, I
• 13:43
was just gonna see because I've heard they would put out, they would put
• 13:46
they would put him in when they got down inside and and he just he's
• 13:50
not as good. I mean ning third Rico d Yeah, that's okay,
• 13:58
maybe that's who it is. Yeah, I didn't see his stats, and
• 14:01
like I said, I didn't get to watch the game. I listened to
• 14:03
a lot on the radio, but I mean the the ah, I just
• 14:09
the almost it's like the inexperience of that continues in pressure situations, continues to
• 14:16
shine and it's not inexperience. Maybe it's just something he's never gonna get.
• 14:18
I don't know, I've I've already said this, until they get ready him.
• 14:22
It's just like justin fields, he's he can't read a field. Yeah,
• 14:26
but we talk about that as far as NFL goes, and quarterback is
• 14:28
the main position. We all know that art it's a starting point. It's
• 14:31
the highest paid. Yeah, so they I mean, but there's a lot
• 14:37
of other teams that would take Dak over what they've got and they would still
• 14:41
be in the same situation. What you're saying, it's average? Yeah,
• 14:46
yeah, I mean I know there you are, ladies and gentlemen. Tells
• 14:50
Cowbie Justice. I've said, you know, I've said that for the last
• 14:52
two or three years, that Dak is just that. You also hate Dylan
• 14:56
Gabriel and we'll get in that little bit. But anyway, I don't hate.
• 14:58
I think he's average like that. I think he's average. Somebody told
• 15:03
him to ninety Do they have came rising back back there? Yeah? He
• 15:07
cam Rising was looking to know you we'd been better off with it. Well,
• 15:09
if he was healthy, then Gabriel just gonna say, well, do
• 15:13
you want to talk about the Indianapolis upset? Sure? Yeah? With without
• 15:22
I said, I was gonna say, with Anthony Richards, is it with
• 15:24
Ben? Sure? Without rich Sid? I mean, what makes that better?
• 15:26
You know what I mean? I don't know, grder Mens, you
• 15:28
screwed up. Well he did get he didn't get spun around. Uh.
• 15:35
Colts are probably another team that a little more talented than he thought. Yeah,
• 15:39
we picked the artist. I mean just this overall in a general team
• 15:43
aspect. I mean we were going top five to seven, uh, top
• 15:48
five to sevens Texans and Colts. Yeah I took Colts last, Yeah he
• 15:52
did. But even the Texans aren't looking that bad. No, I really
• 15:56
think that I'm probably gonna look the best out of that because the Titans,
• 16:00
and Creston is the Titans. I love it. Well, I'm gonna look
• 16:04
the best out of that, wet and Creston, I said, and I
• 16:08
looked, and Chris I read it wrong. But no, I think the
• 16:11
Titans might be the worst in that division right now, and I don't think
• 16:15
they should. I think they have one of the best coaches in the NFL.
• 16:18
They have one of the best front defensive lines in the NFL. It's
• 16:21
just third quarterback, like you said, is below average. That's a team
• 16:23
right there that would take that. Yeah. Well here, well, I
• 16:26
mean a handful of teams. Dak is cold speak, which you're supposed to
• 16:30
be the number one North team, well, one of the top North team
• 16:34
AFC North. And then you've got the Texans beating the Jags, which everybody
• 16:38
pretty much had the Jags what in the South Way. But but he's really
• 16:41
hurt Creston's fans it did. Surfer Boy has not looked good the last couple
• 16:47
of games. I can't say that I've called that, but wait, I
• 16:49
  have you have got I don't. I don't. I don't think he's a
• 16:55
good boy. I just don't think he's He just had a good run last
• 16:57
year towards the end of the season. I mean, I I let me
• 17:00
back up. I don't let me bring that back. I'm not gonna say.
• 17:03
I don't think. And it's kind of the same about her reversing.
• 17:07
  It doesn't. I don't think that. I you all think that. I
• 17:10
say he's not that good, you don't like him, and you said that
• 17:12
  numerous times. I just don't think. I just think that. I don't.
• 17:18
Some of these quarterbacks that get to this top pedestal that everyone is putting
• 17:21
them on just ain't that great overall. They're just their careers. They're put
• 17:26
there too soon. I think a little bit of that is. Yes,
• 17:29
I think Lawrence was put there to pressure for Trevor first pick. Yeah,
• 17:33
everybody's but I don't think hurts. I then rman Meyer was his coach,
• 17:37
so when he looked like shit, Everyone's like, well, it's urban.
• 17:40
And then you go through one good season and then all of a sudden you're
• 17:42
elevated up. You're getting these big contracts, and but you know they expect
• 17:51
you to be doing the same the next suppressed. I've already said this,
• 17:53
they expect you to the next season. And right now, Jalen Hurts is
• 17:59
the only one that's recently been put on that pedestal that's still producing. Yeah,
• 18:03
until he's Mahomes say, no, we're talking about, you know,
• 18:12
one good year at the Eagles. Yes, well, he's having a pretty
• 18:15
good year right now. I mean, you think there's good as they look
• 18:18
as good this year as they did last year with that run game. That
• 18:22
run game is I don't know if they look as good. That run game
• 18:25
has opened him up to be able. It has a lot of it has.
• 18:27
He's not running the ball as much. Yeah, he's not running the
• 18:30
ball as much. He's well, they got swift obviously for a nickel.
• 18:33
He's not having to he doesn't That's what I'm saying. He's getting to sit
• 18:37
in the pocket and he does not make bad passes. If you watch he
• 18:41
throws the ball and he's pretty accurate and he can throw it on a dime.
• 18:45
I mean way down the field. I've seen several good passes this year.
• 18:48
I think about them. They don't look as good. They don't look
• 18:52
as christ they look like well they I mean, they did handle the Buccaneers
• 18:56
quite easily, and you know they just kind of give him. But they
• 19:02
all looked that good. In New England that was one of the games they
• 19:04
didn't look that good. They scored a late touchdown to pull away because they
• 19:07
were New England was right. It was, I know it was, but
• 19:12
it was raining. I mean sloppy that's what he meant. Sloppy field,
• 19:17
sloppy play. Well, it was sloppy played. They lost the ball.
• 19:21
I mean yeah, well I'm just saying. But back to we're talking about
• 19:26
Trevor Lawrence. Yeah, but those guys like Trevor Lawrence, no, I
• 19:30
mean, the pressure was put on him. And Joe Burrow is injury prone,
• 19:33
that's what they're setting now. And he's not injury prone. He's injured
• 19:37
this year. He doesn't look as good and they've got a pick and choose
• 19:42
which game kind of makes it kind of makes me think about Baker the way
• 19:45
he played the year her. He should have just set out because the first
• 19:49
year he looked good. He played injured, and he hasn't been the same
• 19:52
yet. The thing though, that he's done and he's just he makes too
• 19:57
many mistakes as far as reception. Dak Prescott, I don't, but he
• 20:03
did. He did that after that. I think jackets more physically talented.
• 20:07
You saw his first year. I'm not saying it's just this mental game that
• 20:11
back. Baker had cleaned it up his second year. Then he got injured
• 20:15
and that injury season was where you saw it go back down hill his shoulder
• 20:18
issue. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he shouldn't have played shouldn't. That's
• 20:21
why you know most other quarterbacks. Let's talk about quarterbacks real quick because we
• 20:26
getting ready to move on to colleges that looks had another sign big contract is
• 20:30
Lamar Johnson, and you know we've had some different opinions about him on this
• 20:37
podcast. Well he got You just got beat by Gardner Minshew. I don't
• 20:41
think he's that great. I mean, if you look, he doesn't average,
• 20:45
but I mean on his passing. I didn't know this, but I
• 20:48
saw this the other day for stats. He averages like a hundred and seventy
• 20:52
five yards. Again I did. They're fun, aren't they no, they
• 20:59
have no, but I mean no, So twenty two to thirty one last
• 21:04
game, that's not bad percentage? Uh two to two yards. He's only
• 21:08
averaging six point five And so are we looking at his wide receivers aren't making
• 21:15
the plays that they should. You know, is the yak not there because
• 21:19
it's not for him? I mean he was yact down at the bottom,
• 21:23
so you gotta have yeah. No, So what I'm saying is is some
• 21:30
of your receivers in this league make your quarterback look a lot better. I've
• 21:33
tried to tell Zach this. Who thinks Kirk Cousins MVP? He has the
• 21:37
numbers of an MVP. He's losing. He's owing three because he's got the
• 21:42
best wide receiver. Well, he's got the best run game in their defense
• 21:47
ain't all that great, but he's got that. They can't keep the other
• 21:48
teams from scoring. I said run game. He's got the best wide receiver
• 21:52
in the league, though, so it was too and possibly the best well
• 21:59
Jeffer's and Addison. Addison's no fucking I've looked at his stats and still anyway,
• 22:03
hey, but he's still be seven anyway, He's okay for your let
• 22:08
me ask you this question out of you, let me just ask you.
• 22:12
Would you take Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott put him on the same team if
• 22:17
you put if you put Dade of Vikings and you put Cousins on Dallas,
• 22:22
who would be the better quarterback? I think you probably that's a bad comparison,
• 22:27
  because I think that's a question. That's a question. I mean,
• 22:30
if you sus don't hey. I have an argument though, because I think
• 22:34
that because I think that a complimentary football plays a big difference on how your
• 22:40
quarterback looks and what he has to do. If you're always behind, you're
• 22:44
going to be always throwing the ball hints. If your defense is bad,
• 22:48
you're always playing from behind, makes you make bad decisions. Play calling is
• 22:52
much different now if you are ahead, have a good defense. Brought Perdy
• 22:56
Jalen Hurts come to my mind immediately, and should be Dak is those eat
• 23:02
those those quarterbacks, they might just be Deacon and Duck in ten fifteen yards,
• 23:06
get some yack. Running backs are running rather than oh shit, we're
• 23:10
down by twenty already in the third. Now we're just chunking the ball and
• 23:14
they're getting interceptions, penalties, and cunning so and then the stats from miss
• 23:18
I mean there's as far as completion percentage and touchdowns to ratio of interceptions.
• 23:25
But no, if you was to put now, if you was to put
• 23:27
Kirk Cousins on the Dallas Cowboys, I think they would have a better chance
• 23:33
to continue winning. But because of his ability to throw the ball. But
• 23:41
I've never really seen Kirk. I mean I saw Kirk at Washington. He
• 23:44
did okay at times, but justin Jefferson has been a huge piece of what
• 23:48
Kirk has done at the Vikings. You know, stats wise, catch the
• 23:52
ball wise, Hawkinson's good too. So when you get a good when you
• 23:56
get into into that, and that's another thing. Dallas doesn't have a good
• 23:59
tight end. I don't get sure what anybody wants to say. They don't
• 24:02
have him as a weapon. And the second thing is is what Dallas needs
• 24:04
to go back to doing. They get rid of Schultzstein. If you look,
• 24:07
yeah, he went to Houston. If you look at Dallas and their
• 24:10
offensive play calling, and I know it's not it's a taboo thing to talk
• 24:12
about, but you want to get your teams to win, is you get
• 24:17
Lamar and you get that back to running the ball. That's what they did
• 24:21
in college. It's what they excel at. And you have that option now
• 24:25
they are ready. Then you just become one dimensional in no, no,
• 24:26
no, they still got to throw it because they have the ability, but
• 24:30
they're one dimensional now because that's all they do is throw. It's like they've
• 24:33
been reined in not to run because of injury. Whatever, the statistical thing
• 24:38
about whatever, blah blah blah. I mean you could talk about what is
• 24:41
that what is that word that you it's not stats, but it's not hieroglyphics.
• 24:47
But what it's hieroglyphics. You know what I'm saying. You talk you
• 24:51
know what I'm saying. They do analytics, analytics. There we go.
• 24:52
I was closet. That was close. Yeah, I got it to say
• 24:57
it. They did of a bird and water and fire, but we know
• 25:04
that all went through analytics to see and that's how they built the pyramids.
• 25:10
We all know that. Whatever, But what analytics knew what I meant?
• 25:12
You knew what I meant. That's why I threw you some chum. You
• 25:18
could be jaws. Okay, just let's you caught on. But anyway,
• 25:21
so going back to that though, I think some of those things hurt those
• 25:23
quarterbacks that excelled well in college and done. Kyler Murray's another example. But
• 25:29
what happens is you see color Murray's got hurt. Obviously, that's why they
• 25:33
don't want to do it. They've paid them big money and it's a shame
• 25:37
because now what's going to happen is you're going to be watching these people pick
• 25:41
up just pocket pass or quarterbacks only, and that at times has failed miserably
• 25:45
too. In the draft, you know, because everyone's in love. You
• 25:48
know, everyone's claims Caleb Williams is going to go number one. I don't
• 25:52
want him to. I really don't want him to. Caleb Williams concerns you
• 25:55
because he does very well with his mobility when he's scrambling around. He's better
• 26:00
when he's on the move, and he's gonna get that's the difference between the
• 26:03
college and NFL though. But but that's the difference in the college in the
• 26:10
NFL. In college, he's the best best athlete on the field. He
• 26:14
can outrun everybody. He can make those plays you get. In the NFL,
• 26:17
everybody's just as good as you are. I mean, he can't out
• 26:21
run the whole, the whole, eleven guys on defense and get around to
• 26:25
get open. That's how they get hurt. Sure, I mean that's and
• 26:29
I'm just thinking about it. Aside from Jalen Hurts. Look at the quarterbacks
• 26:33
that Lincoln Riley has put out there. I'm not gonna wash up Baker yet,
• 26:38
I still look look at look at what I don't like Baker's history.
• 26:42
That's all I'm gonna say. What the Baker's been put in a fail situation.
• 26:48
At the cockiness that they look at the cockiness that comes out when they're
• 26:55
in college. They're cocky as hell, They're brash. Kyler was, even
• 27:00
though you want to say that he wasn't. He was. Baker huge flavor
• 27:04
was Hurts never was, remember Hurts h one. But took what he learned
• 27:11
at Alabama in the plane in the SEC and what he learned and Tom Lincoln
• 27:17
and you put those together and he's just fun. And what's gonna happen when
• 27:21
Caleb gets there? Caleb's Caleb's cocky as hell, brash. He's gonna get
• 27:26
smashed this first good smash. He's gonna come up with his bell rung.
• 27:30
He's gonna look like is gonna fall off. He's like, I want a
• 27:34
strawberry doctor pepper. They make this. Have you not seen the commercial that
• 27:41
was Fansville. I'm picking strawberry doctor Pepper. Okay, so going back to
• 27:45
that, but now one must admit, out of the OEU quarterbacks that you
• 27:49
talk about, Hurts went into the best situation. Well did he did?
• 27:56
He? Are you kidding me? Who was the quarterback before him? I
• 28:00
don't remember, neither do you. Carson Wentz? Yeah, sucked. So
• 28:03
he went into the best position. That team that he went to was already
• 28:08
closely built. If you remember Carson Wentz took them to a playoff and won
• 28:11
  a game. If I'm not mistaken, I think so. I don't.
• 28:15
But anyway, he was he I mean, you could try to argue it.
• 28:18
He was by far the best positions. Stop just stop that. He's
• 28:22
been set up to be in the best position at OU quarterbacks. But he
• 28:25
has also it was the best one to come up because he didn't have that
• 28:26
chip on his shoulder he would he went in Willie, he went without the
• 28:32
con The only thing I'm saying is his team that he went to as a
• 28:34
drafted he it was the best team you could that team was playoff before Hurts
• 28:44
got there. No one else was for an ou quarterback. Well that's fine,
• 28:48
okay, I'm just saying it was the best and they built aroun.
• 28:51
But you saw you saw the attitudes that has all year one with Hurts.
• 28:53
Let's see year two three, the attitude that they went in with. I'm
• 28:59
kind of like that with Party two. I'm about the same. Hurts is
• 29:00
better than Party two. Yeah, it's fun. Yeah, he got injured.
• 29:04
We don't know who he got injured. Remember perty got injured in that
• 29:08
game. We honestly don't. Oh yeah, wait, I mean no,
• 29:11
I mean there's a rematch, a good record and everything. Dallas two weeks
• 29:17
is gonna be fun to see Dallas can't score. Dallas is week after all
• 29:22
is Dallas is good? Defense is going to be shown. Hypothetically before we
• 29:26
move on to college. Let's say two weeks Dallas place. No, not
• 29:29
hypothetically, they do play in two weeks, but hypothetically, what if Dallas
• 29:33
comes away thirty seven twenty one winners, You guys still gonna set there and
• 29:37
go alike, move on. No, I think Dallas has got a really
• 29:41
good team. I think seven points against number one defense there. I don't
• 29:47
know. I'm just saying hypothetically, I don't know what all the players.
• 29:48
I mean, this is hypothetical. I mean it's thirty seven twenty one against
• 29:52
the number one defense, good enough that you say Dallas can't score. Now,
• 29:56
I'm not saying they will. I'm saying I think hipathetic clear though.
• 30:00
Are you gonna set back and go, oh, wait a minute, maybe
• 30:03
I misspoke. No, No, they're gonna match up again. Fluke,
• 30:10
because what you'd say, it's been consistent with Dak and the Cowboys the last
• 30:14
four or five years. I mean it's not It'll only be a fluke if
• 30:18
you look at the rest of the season and Dallas goes downhill. Oh no,
• 30:22
no, I know, I'm just saying. I mean hypothetically, we're
• 30:25
talking from now to two weeks, and what are you gonna be saying after
• 30:27
that week. Well, that's what I'm saying, so that just if Dallas
• 30:30
does end up winning that game, you can turn around and say, Okay,
• 30:33
for the rest of the season Dallas, Dallas wins more games. But
• 30:38
if yeah, but if Dallas starts losing, then it's a fluke because I
• 30:44
mean, honestly, they break thirty on the Patriots. Pretty pretty good for
• 30:48
the offense. I think if they get thirty, New England's got a hell
• 30:51
of a defense. I'm talking thirty on the offense, not defense, combine
• 30:52
all that stuff, but they can get But then I sat there though,
• 30:56
but the defense didn't score last week at all, sixteen points against the Cardinals.
• 31:00
I know. But I mean because we talked, we talked about the
• 31:06
the uh Dallas a couple of weeks. It was all about the red zone
• 31:10
last week. I mean, it was like, what the hell are you
• 31:11
doing? But they had They've had the worst scoring red zone I mean statistics
• 31:15
out of every team in the NFL this year. I know, I heard
• 31:19
that I happened. I've got to be able to argue with you, so
• 31:23
I haven't what I mean, you argue with statistics, but statistics will paint
• 31:27
you a picture. It might not paint the whole picture, and you'll get
• 31:30
a little bit of it. So anyway, No, as far as that
• 31:33
though, I'm still going, who's your best team, Sean, He's still
• 31:36
going forty nine ers NFL. Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm
• 31:41
gonna say the Chief just because they got my homes. I mean, that's
• 31:44
a game changer right there. The Chief, I would probably say the Chiefs
• 31:47
too, is a sacre. The one thing that helped take a lot of
• 31:55
the pressure off the Bears this week was Taylor Swift was there and nobody cared
• 32:00
that the Bears were getting beaten. They got beat that's so much. You
• 32:04
were getting the best, so much everything her tickets and sale tickets for the
• 32:12
Chief. I mean, it's a publicity stun. That's all keys Jerseys.
• 32:17
There are a bunch of little girls out there in Travis Kelsey Jerseys. I
• 32:22
don't think I don't think it's necessarily publicity because I think they are kind of
• 32:25
an item there. But hey, but they put too much emphasis on it.
• 32:30
They was publicized too much. I mean, there's a lot of people
• 32:32
that have girlfriends and have people. I mean, it's not all about oh
• 32:36
my god, Taylor Swift at the game. It's Kelsey's girlfriend. Oh my
• 32:38
god. They're in love, true love. Who gives a shit we're watching
• 32:42
football? Well but I but I think in reality, though in reality you
• 32:45
got the commissioner going more a female more. I understand. It's kind of
• 32:55
why are this week? Is it? This week? They're doing the cartoon
• 32:59
toy story. They are Vikings and is that the London game this week?
• 33:07
So I'm interested to see what they do. I think that's Jack's Vikings.
• 33:09
I thought it was the Falcon. Maybe I'm wrong. I can't find Minnesota
• 33:15
Carolina. Is it Jacks but that was last week's game. That's just that's
• 33:21
this week. Yeah, I've got them picked him in My pick is Carolina
• 33:27
Minnesota. The Carolina Minnesota played. Oh that's right, it's Jackson. I'm
• 33:32
glad you brought that Atlanta, Jacksonville. I'll bring Atlanta. I said it
• 33:36
was, Yeah, it was because I remember seeing I remember seeing surfer Boy
• 33:39
as you know, playing with the toys and Doug Peterson. I'll bring that
• 33:43
up in my manut here because I bring it up. We're on the NFL.
• 33:45
Bring it up. So what I bitched about as we close, and
• 33:51
this was the gaff of the week is Brandon Staley. I cannot stand as
• 33:55
a coach talked about it. Lincoln Riley's gonna be the new coach. That's
• 33:59
my prediction. If if calebly leaves, if Daddy's not lying fourth in overtime,
• 34:08
fourth and one, they go for it. On their own twenty four,
• 34:14
They don't get it, and they get lucky because Kirk Cousins is an
• 34:16
interception and they win, and everyone's setting there going would you not agree that
• 34:24
the Chargers on Now? Eckler's out obviously injury, but wouldn't you think that
• 34:30
that? And Brent Staley is a defensive coach. I'm not gonna call him
• 34:36
guru because anybody that's called him that shouldn't even be on the air anywhere even
• 34:40
beforehand. I mean, is this the first coach fired? I mean,
• 34:46
is he gonna make a season? I think Everflus is on the line too,
• 34:51
a little bit on the line because it's got backwards. The whole teams
• 34:55
went backwards, the whole team, the whole team. I don't know,
• 35:00
He's had a lot of time to throw and he just stood there and held
• 35:01
the ball. Dude. Yeah, I've watched sus did you watch? He
• 35:06
can't see, he can't find, and they're all over the freaking field.
• 35:08
They're wide open. I don't think they've got a lot of time, and
• 35:12
I think they're a lot of think their defense is horrid. I don't know
• 35:15
the stats on that. Yeah, I will say that the defense is getting
• 35:17
beat the hell. I mean, that's a total team effort there. Anyway,
• 35:23
I think Stanley's probably the first coach fired big names coming to that.
• 35:29
It's an LA market. I call him to San Diego, but it's a
• 35:31
big market. They're talented. They have one of the highest paid quarterbacks down
• 35:36
  justin Herbert's coach. He'd be fine. Now he's he's safe, he's safe.
• 35:44
Look at their team. They fired their GM last year, fired the
• 35:46
offensive coordinator who went to who the Titans offense? Oh, I don't remember.
• 35:52
He hadn't any good if he win anywhere else they got lucky. Was
• 35:55
it Monk or duncle or Monk came from Georgia and he's offensive coordinator at the
• 36:02
Ravens. Yes, the Ravens. Yeah, good pick up. Gonna take
• 36:06
a little bit of time for him from the looks that it was gonna take
• 36:08
a lot of bitutes of Hey, but the NFL's great. I mean,
• 36:12
I'm like he said, coach, I can see him being on the hot
• 36:15
seat. No note, taking a step now, I'm taking a step back
• 36:17
now that they've been They've taken a step back because they've built a shitty defense
• 36:22
for one and their offensive line is absolutely horrible. Wait, I got one
• 36:27
of Dalvin Cook, one of the best running backs. I understand this just
• 36:30
save money. And wouldn't they put that money too. I don't know.
• 36:32
I haven't seen anything proved any everybody's Mike now, I'm sorry, but yeah,
• 36:38
I mean that's another statistic. Last year and this year so far picked
• 36:44
the Vikings last let me see nobody damn it, I changed my pick,
• 36:49
should have picked him last Packers. But I'm just telling you might be right
• 36:53
after didn't that change last year? Last year and this year so far more
• 37:00
of a pressures, more sacked more who oh yeah, I mean he's not
• 37:06
bad, it's just he just don't I'm just telling me. If you moved
• 37:08
him to San Francisco or or Dalla called it the Jets, We've already called
• 37:14
this. I called this trade two weeks ago. I called it three weeks
• 37:17
ago in your diveway. Yes, but let we have record on this now.
• 37:22
I think people are stealing our ideas. I think I think they are
• 37:25
someone's going through and hey, these guys know, what the hell did you
• 37:29
ever tweet that out to the rock? No, I need to put it
• 37:31
as I need to put it as mine. Well, no, they just
• 37:34
to fish did see it just happened and they we just got a letter to
• 37:37
I saw letter. Didn't get No, we got if we get a season
• 37:40
  desist letter that's coming next because I don't, I don't, but I don't.
• 37:45
I don't check our we put our Gmail dot com. I never check
• 37:49
it. Team sending it all the season desists, you know, all the
• 37:54
everything. No, I knew I was gonna put that as our new picture
• 37:59
screen. Well that's fine, you need do you need to add it at
• 38:01
the rock and be like, well, I think we call I saw on
• 38:04
Twitter that there was a letter of official tent. No like they doubt it,
• 38:08
like it's it's already processed. Yeah, so which is good. We
• 38:13
called it. It should be. It's the only thing that's gonna happening.
• 38:16
NFL great games this week, next week preview and the NFL are talking about
• 38:21
NFL is going to be even better. I thought this week's games kind of
• 38:23
sucked. But next week, no, no, last no, we've got
• 38:28
We're we've got no. I say in last week's was not last week's game.
• 38:30
This week, this week, this week's slate is pretty pretty good.
• 38:37
I think looking at looking at God, where am I looking at the Bills
• 38:42
Dolphins. We'll see if two of us had we'll take all those hits.
• 38:47
Packers, packers lost the lines. What is when what we find talking about
• 38:52
that? What did we find out that don't have to play Jamar Gibbs correctly?
• 38:55
So that's hilarious. I love that Hannah had him on the bench.
• 38:59
Oh anasy news for NFL. Hannah's bench scored thirty points forty points hit.
• 39:05
Yeah, and I had Gibbs. It is my starting and and that could
• 39:08
that that could be another reason why she hates us. Well, what are
• 39:13
you going to talk about Gibbs? I mean, Montgomery had a blowout,
• 39:16
killer freaking week, so you'd think they should bench him and put Gibbs.
• 39:22
And I didn't say that, didn't say that at all. He's got Gibbs,
• 39:25
I know he does. And I got Laporta. Laporta didn't even do
• 39:30
a tenor for me. No, no, no, but very upset.
• 39:32
So I want to talk a little bit about Montgomery. Is everyone is falling
• 39:35
in love with this guy. What I've always been he was a bear.
• 39:37
I've always liked him. What about he had thirty two carries for one hundred
• 39:43
and twenty one yards and yeah, well you get it at the one because
• 39:46
Gibbs got you there, or golf did. And it's a three point seven
• 39:50
eight average for running Gibbs. Look at his stats over six. Every time
• 39:55
the guy touches the ball, he's electric and he's a general. He dropped
• 40:04
that one because the past was behind him. He was running this way.
• 40:07
How many times was he targeted? Oh, I don't know what he's targed
• 40:09
about. I think he averaged Jamar Gibbs eight for forty. Go all down
• 40:14
to his Well, see it's talking about that Rose Steeving. I said total
• 40:16
yards, total, total per carry, per reception. So no, maybe
• 40:22
I've read something wrong. Hold on, I'm sorry. That was for the
• 40:27
season. My bad. It was for the season. He did have an
• 40:29
off. It was for the season, his overall, his overall. Ever,
• 40:34
you're talking about four yards of carry not being good. I'll go down
• 40:37
any team that can hand though up. I mean, I'm sorry, he
• 40:39
but he had. You had a guy had thirty two carries an average three
• 40:43
point eight, and you had Gibbs who got eight carries. Now, if
• 40:45
you watch another thing about their play calling, every third down, Montgomery would
• 40:51
go out and Gibbs would come in. So what did they down back?
• 40:54
So what they would do not to run it. What he'd do is he'd
• 40:58
be out four yards behind a line of Scrooge looking looking look at Oh shit,
• 41:04
there's Gifts. Well half the defense is already running to him and tackle
• 41:07
his ass. It's just not set up to be what it should be.
• 41:10
The guys better than one is. And hey, that's fine, Montgomery's having
• 41:14
a good year. It's a free agent they signed that they're paying more money
• 41:17
to. It's very cute and all, and it's just the way it goes.
• 41:22
It's just the way it goes. One year, three years. I
• 41:25
hope it's having something that mister so I didn't look at it. I so
• 41:30
he's a free agent, so they gotta kiss his ass something captain stats would
• 41:32
anyways, fucking Halloween, it's captain stats. Gifts should be good, doing
• 41:39
better. And that's not just because my fantasy. I'm just telling you this
• 41:43
guy, it's gonna be good. He's gonna be good. Thank you last
• 41:47
week. Whatever doesn't matter. But anyway, I think I got the largest
• 41:51
one. Hey, that was good. So it's margin of victory. That's
• 41:53
no, you did not, so let's not talk shit. You didn't meet
• 41:57
me by the largest margin of victory. Look at it. Oh this week,
• 42:00
I'm an overall. I'm owing three. By the way, in fantasy
• 42:04
if anyone wants to know, that's why they're giving me shit. How many
• 42:07
of you won one? And how many of you won one? I'm in
• 42:08
the playoffs. Yeah, good for you. If he showed in today,
• 42:12
we got the goddamn professionals on here talking about fantasy football, the professor over
• 42:17
here, the professionals asleep in bed right now, mister ad drop, I
• 42:22
cato you. The thing is, I wait, and I love working at
• 42:25
that time because I just sat there and I wait till Tuesday goes into Wednesday,
• 42:30
and at two am Wednesday morning, here comes just all everything. Just
• 42:37
also, we're playing fantasy on the sleeper app sleeper. Thank you if you
• 42:39
hate any money coming or we keep piping that sleep rap is really good.
• 42:43
But that good time. But that Wednesday there, I mean, it's ready
• 42:46
to roll. So I wake up. We need to do it. I
• 42:50
don't want to do that, Yes we do. I know everyone says that
• 42:52
to have a good job with the sleeper, you don't like it, have
• 42:54
you seen any other ones that used to use Yahoo and I've used you who
• 43:00
I looked at one guy at the bar, his not even clothes. You
• 43:04
like, kiddy, you can't gamble on any good point. So anyways,
• 43:06
move on, let's talk about some college football now. Obviously as we move
• 43:09
on, what you want to back up? Let's talk about a win already.
• 43:14
Let's talk about a win in the books. Tuta this week, two
• 43:15
wins in two weeks, and me and Kenny had picked the over, so
• 43:22
we're right there. Three weeks, two weeks. They lost to Washington last
• 43:27
week, Oh no, they did beat it was was that was the first
• 43:30
Northern Illinois and then they yesterday I forgot they didn't split that up and yeah,
• 43:36
and they beat h so a winning street. Yeah, talk about little
• 43:39
winning street for Tulsa, I think in four and a half and we picked
• 43:43
the we picked him to go over. I think all of them in picked
• 43:45
the win. Yeah. So, and the ladies took the Northern almost.
• 43:49
No, what I want to talk about the thing that we've talked about on
• 43:52
this podcast. Huh it's your mic. Oh sorry. The things we've talked
• 43:57
about on this podcast, and there's been plenty, and I know you aren't.
• 44:00
But anyway, one thing that we mentioned when Kevin Wilson was hired as
• 44:04
we hired as head coach at Tulsa, we thought, yeah, interesting higher,
• 44:07
and then we thought, that's a good hire. That's a get damn
• 44:10
good hire. Tough, nose, nose offense. You need an offensive coach
• 44:15
for a small program. Tulsa still has the lowest enrollment in Division one last
• 44:21
I checked. I could have changed this year, but it was as last
• 44:24
year. So the hiring a guy that's tough, I mean he I'm not
• 44:30
saying he was a juggernaut at Indiana, but he made them better and he
• 44:35
got fired because he was too tough at Indiana. Look at those coaches that
• 44:38
get tough, they're always winning. And not that he's going to do that
• 44:42
this year. Mike Leach, he got fired from Tech because he was too
• 44:45
tough. He's a guy in a shid allegedly probably deserved it. You met
• 44:50
his father on TV. Does deserve it. Yeah, but anyway, his
• 44:52
father deserves it and deserve so. And but anyway, so it was one
• 44:59
of those deals that that it was a great higher. Now you changed it
• 45:05
a little bit, we thought Brelyn Braxton he talked him in out of the
• 45:07
portal, brought him back into Tulsa. He gets hurt. Game one,
• 45:12
Williams comes in. He's a freshman. He might be a rich shirt freshman.
• 45:15
I can't remember I thought he I mean I thought in that not the
• 45:22
Illinois game. He didn't play the greatest. But if you move over to
• 45:24
the box score the other game, Oh, he's getting better. Is he's
• 45:30
getting more reps. And one thing I like about that is he's using his
• 45:34
legs. And when you have a talented receiver, just like we talked about
• 45:37
the NFL, if you got a talented receiver in the college game and they
• 45:42
can move but for three and ran for one. Correct. No, I'm
• 45:46
not saying he's just a runner first. No, by no means I'm saying,
• 45:50
but your defense. I mean it makes it harder for those defensive coaches
• 45:54
to plan for a stationary quarterback versus a mobile quarterback. It's what has haunted
• 46:00
ou in the past how many years? Well, you mean all the guys
• 46:05
that just stand there and go. I mean, we may we make Higman
• 46:09
Trophy winners out of mobile quarterbacks. I don't know at Iowa State at I've
• 46:15
just r Kansas State. Yeah, yeah, so no great win for Tulsa.
• 46:22
That's two and two. Sean pull up their scheduled a bit. I
• 46:24
wouldn't look at We've talked about the goal and I thought and I thought them
• 46:30
making a bowl game. I had them at at the beginning of the year
• 46:32
five and seven and they got Northern Illinois win and that's one that I didn't
• 46:39
have them getting. So as we look at their schedule, you know fau
• 46:45
Tom Herman's coaching there, but it's his first year. Rice looks better because
• 46:50
they have not Slovis, but who Slovist is at BYU. They've got another
• 46:55
Daniels JT. Daniels, twelfth year of US everywhere. Yeah, well,
• 47:01
I think I think Daniels is twelfth year senior, so he's at They're just
• 47:05
gonna be moving, but they look good. SMUs got talent. I think
• 47:07
they can beat Charlotte North Texas in East Carolina. So that's one, two,
• 47:10
three, four, five six. That should get them close to Bowl
• 47:14
eligibility. And that's a win for Tulsa. First year Kevin Wilson. And
• 47:20
you remember we went in not knowing who the defensive coordinator was. He came
• 47:22
in after spring. Yes he did. He came after spring ball and so
• 47:27
and he's so far looks pretty good too. The only thing I was telling
• 47:30
a associate of mine, H Karthett Williams, is I hope you have one
• 47:36
associated? Do you think do you think I'm concerned that one of those quarterbacks
• 47:40
are probably gonna hit the porter? Now? Well, you and I said
• 47:43
this, and it's probably gonna be Braxton probably, and he's got some talent,
• 47:45
but you want the Williams kid to stay, and they're gonna have to
• 47:49
beat They're gonna be putting in a tough situation and say, hey, coach,
• 47:52
am I Kevin? Am I the starter? Am I the starter?
• 47:54
Next year? I mean? Am I it? Or is it? And
• 47:58
that's the that's, unfortunately the game that this college coaches have to play.
• 48:01
So we got Tulsa FAU next week five o'clock and I'm sorry, not this
• 48:08
weekend, but yes, next weekend, because they've already done and I think
• 48:12
that's I think that's a possible win. So they need to try to get
• 48:15
one out of those two before their bye week before they hit SMU. All
• 48:19
right, let's move on to H. I took my notes. I was
• 48:22
taking notes this week, Let's go ahead and let's let's do this one.
• 48:25
That's what I was getting ready to talk about. I was taking my notes
• 48:30
earlier, and I talked I wanted to talk about the Cowboys because I was
• 48:32
pissed because I thought, you know what, you've had bad cowboys and shitty
• 48:36
cowboys. Yea, I know, I put. I put cowboys and then
• 48:38
I put shittier cowboys because I was pissed about the Dallas Cowboys because I talk
• 48:43
all that shit on our smack on them for being good, and then they
• 48:46
blow and then os U, who I took the over at that six and
• 48:50
a half, look like they ain't gonna win three four games. I know,
• 48:55
well, at least we all took OSU versus the by, and no,
• 48:59
we all had by winning. I thought the spread went up in that
• 49:01
one though I talked about that a little bit. Yeah, I had it
• 49:04
at thirteen and a half. I think it went up to twenty seven.
• 49:07
I okay. So obviously the number one problem that we've talked about with OSHU
• 49:10
quarterback quarterback quarterback, and so this game they decide we're just gonna play one.
• 49:20
And I think as OSHU fans sat there and watched and they played the
• 49:22
wrong one. That's exactly what I was gonna say. Oh Ishi fans are
• 49:25
sitting there going playing him. It was just not just bowman throws a pretty
• 49:31
ball. He does, but he also throws a pretty ball to other people
• 49:35
too. No mobility, Sean. How many sacks did I don't. I
• 49:39
didn't look at the stats on this game. How many sacks did? Go
• 49:43
back down to see if I wish or Iowa State had many sacks or been?
• 49:47
What their what their performance? It was said right there that there were
• 49:50
sex Oh does it? Yeah? Because it didn't. It includes sax In
• 49:53
uh In with the But then that shows you enough about os U two that
• 49:58
they didn't have a sack none. I thought oshu defense was we talked about
• 50:01
  ou y, I'm talking about o sho's u zero. What isn't the show
• 50:10
a sack on the who knows might sack the running back that was throwing.
• 50:16
Is that how that counts? I just the defense I thought was the culprit
• 50:21
in the lost this game? To be honest, I mean, the offense
• 50:22
wasn't any good, but to put up twenty seven points and I have a
• 50:25
state who's not looked good offensively at all. They do look good defensively.
• 50:30
I think they've in the top ten, not in overall defense, but they've
• 50:36
some Statistically they are up there in the nation as far as defense overall ranking.
• 50:42
Of course, they hadn't played anybody. They played a crap defense or
• 50:45
off sorry offense with Oh but so they come out and they beat an Arizona
• 50:51
State team that put twenty eight on USC. Yes, even though a late
• 51:00
twenty eight, they still put twenty in on USC, and Oklahoma State beat
• 51:04
them. Yeah, Oklahoma State cost me that game because I picked well,
• 51:07
Okahoma State costs me that game too. Yeah, I'm not picking them all
• 51:12
year. I think OSU is freaking garbage. I don't know. Well,
• 51:16
the lower half of the Big twelve is garbage. The lower half the well,
• 51:22
I guess more than the lower half by US by I think I picked
• 51:25
by U lower than I should have. They're a lot better than I think
• 51:30
Cincinnati. I might have had them a little too low, but I know.
• 51:37
Remember Kenny was talking about Texas Tech over there and then says, oh,
• 51:40
I never says that. Yeah, he talked, I talked big game
• 51:44
there with the Texas Tech. But I do you see, f what have
• 51:51
they done so far in the Big twelve. I don't know. I mean,
• 51:54
real quick, do we have do we have anything? So? Yeah,
• 51:58
I can see Oklahoma State just not winning another game all season, maybe
• 52:01
one, possibly one. You know what. It's a shame too because their
• 52:07
big their whole big hype this year was uld out lost to Kansas State.
• 52:15
One. That's last week. That's not bad Kansas States is that they're only
• 52:20
lost overall Crest and USA give me two second. In the South Alabama,
• 52:24
they lost to the fighting major Apple White Cougars, you know South. There
• 52:30
was some chatter that came out of that game too, if you heard that
• 52:34
the defense was saying that the thing was pretty telegraphed for the Ossue offense,
• 52:39
like it was there like we knew what they were getting. Ready, Yeah,
• 52:43
I saw. Now here's here's the lightest on our issue. They've lost
• 52:46
one to Kansas State. That was it. Yeah, they beat Boise State,
• 52:51
and they beat Villanova the Juggernaut, and they beat basketball Kimp State and
• 52:58
then they lost to Kansas State. What was it at State score? Kid,
• 53:00
say it's not a bad team was fifty six to six. Boy,
• 53:04
they're bad. Well, you know the coach left, he's offensive coordinator.
• 53:07
Now, boys, was a close game. It was eighteen sixties. Yeah,
• 53:09
I think we kind of caught some of that at the end. It
• 53:12
was a late game. So let's just put in perspective, Ossue. Let's
• 53:17
start from the top. Gundy not but Dundee said that everything's fine, not
• 53:24
big in the portal, then blames that not big in the neil. He's
• 53:30
gonna heal the hell he needs to retire or get in with the game.
• 53:32
And it's just unfortunate. I mean, I think you're seeing some of the
• 53:36
older coaches that have been around, and I'm not saying Gundy is an old
• 53:38
man, but he's seasoned. We're seeing I think and times that they are
• 53:45
a change first, got it. France is the only one not really struggling.
• 53:51
Yeah, but he's that's because he brought in his son. No,
• 53:52
he sucks, and that son's fired. I mean, that's that's over with
• 53:55
that. That's even a bad ega. The love affairs already done with Iowa.
• 54:00
  I didn't have a love affair with him. No, it's just it's
• 54:04
bad. So everybody says a love affair with Eye at the beginning of the
• 54:07
season and then they just every year. I don't know if you've ever noticed
• 54:13
that I have we not we. I'm talking about every the other talking heads
• 54:19
out there, the other like Colin Cowtern, Joel klapt Man, Dog,
• 54:27
those guys all seemed to love, you know, don't text him over this
• 54:31
year. Sorry, So answering the no. So, what I wanted to
• 54:37
talk about, as far as that goes, is so he's gonna have to
• 54:40
make changes, and I think the first change he needs to make his his
• 54:44
offensive coordinator. Casey Den has been a loyal guy. He's been there,
• 54:46
but the offense is not any good. Everybody in this state, as far
• 54:51
as you talk about radio personalities, TV personalities, they're talking about it.
• 54:54
It's not Jerry's going down. Nick Saban seems I don't know. I'm Jimbo
• 55:00
was getting another good recruiting class though, I mean, we gets great recruiting
• 55:04
classes, but they don't do anything. I'm telling you, it's like the
• 55:07
Lions in the draft. Eventually it's going to pan out. I just think
• 55:09
so, I mean, I really do. But Dabo's having them down.
• 55:15
But Babbo lost a lot on I'm right now. Dabo kind of reminds me
• 55:22
of your dad, No of h coach ceiling Gundy that they're neither one of
• 55:30
them are playing the nail money in the portal the way. I mean,
• 55:34
they're losing more players and they're bringing in both of them. Yeah, and
• 55:37
I think you're going to see that change a little bit though. And I'll
• 55:40
give Gundy a little credit. He did try to go after some big name
• 55:44
quarterbacks and then it just went somewhere else. Allegedly him and Spencer Sanders and
• 55:49
the team or whoever else just it would just not drive. It was one
• 55:52
of them things that, yeah, it was just gonna be a done deal.
• 55:55
Spencer really took a lot from that offense when he left. They did,
• 55:59
but they playing the locker rooms. It's an issue there. I don't
• 56:01
know what it was. I never really heard, but there was just some
• 56:04
negativity there between the them and the team him. I don't know. But
• 56:07
anyway, so real quick on the UCF, they're gonna go They're gonna host
• 56:13
Baylord, then they're gonna go into Kansas and then oh you they're gonna pretty
• 56:17
that. That's their two roughest games in the in the Big twelve. Will
• 56:22
Cincinnati as well. I didn't even see the score of that. Have you
• 56:23
looked at Cincinnati b YU. I have not been any really gets since since
• 56:31
kill. It might go you look better, but they were, but they
• 56:34
were tied last we looked. So that's that. Well. I think that
• 56:44
by U twenty one Cincinnati thirteen, third quarter, five minutes last, it's
• 56:47
gonna be close game b YU maybe is a little better than what we thought
• 56:50
too. I mean, Sean, we was just talking about that. We
• 56:53
have kind of had a couple of teams lower than we we didn't fire.
• 57:00
I mean, yeah, well, Tech's interesting. You know, they held
• 57:01
you know, we had them kind of high. We talked about did you
• 57:05
talk about that? Sorry? You know, because they held Organ close and
• 57:07
then went to Ship after that and Oregan looks like the final Colorado you know,
• 57:12
so what's that talk about beat with Colorado? No? It was Organ?
• 57:15
Organ? Organ? Who who did Colorado beat the Brass Grass TC TCCC.
• 57:22
Was that game one? Yes? Yeah, it was getting one with
• 57:24
them for them? Well what do you think about that before moving on Colorado?
• 57:30
Yeah, I mean it's kind of the the cool thing to talk about
• 57:32
now when they're playing OSU or I'm sorry USC and they're playing like at eight
• 57:37
in the morning, which is interesting. It's actually gonna be eleven am kickoff
• 57:42
at Colorado. It's nine or eight or was it ten? Ten? It's
• 57:46
it's eleven our time. Sorry, it's eleven our time? Ten? Yes?
• 57:52
And uh spread was what twenty something? Oh for the arout of the
• 58:00
USC this week, it's one or something like that. I forgot. I
• 58:04
didn't want to take it. You try to get me to take it and
• 58:06
I said no, I did. I tried to taught me into it,
• 58:08
and I said, no, We're not taking that trash because the USC defense
• 58:16
is gonna give up and Travis Hunter and not being there big part of their
• 58:21
game. I did see that Travis Hunter and that Colorado State kid did a
• 58:25
video together made up talked about it like there was no hard feelings between what
• 58:30
happened with that hit. I think it was one of those it wasn't necessarily
• 58:34
personal, but I think it was a very rough, violent game. I
• 58:36
think both teams it kind of got tired of the talk and the chatter.
• 58:38
Yeah, and you know, and honestly, well, there was the video
• 58:42
of Colorado coming out saying they were gonna kill everybody and you know, kick
• 58:46
their asses. They all needed their asses beat that they didn't know how to
• 58:50
play, or that was the organ game, That's what it was. No,
• 58:54
but it was just it was just one of them deal. Yeah that
• 58:57
was the organ game, but it was one of those deals that that was
• 59:00
an in state rival. Colorado State needed that win. They should have got
• 59:04
that win. They're very close to and I don't think. I don't know
• 59:07
if they were last week or not, but they were after that game.
• 59:09
Oh and three Oregon that was last week, No State, oh Colorado.
• 59:15
Yeah, I didn't not look at that. I think they lost, didn't
• 59:19
  they I don't know, That's what I'm saying. I forgot what conference they're
• 59:23
in. Are they in the Mountain? I just right there. There's so
• 59:32
many. We just need to get rid of the bottom five and just make
• 59:36
them all go into the Power five. Uh. They lost to Washington State,
• 59:45
lost to Colorado, and they tried to lose to Middle Tennessee. Yeah.
• 59:52
Middle Tennessee State was last week thirty one, twenty three. Well,
• 59:59
it's said, I love the whole Colorado deal. I think I don't like
• 1:00:06
some of the dramatics about it. But Dion has it's it looks like the
• 1:00:12
future potentially the future of college football because of the portal and the Neil and
• 1:00:15
if you want that to be the future, then continue to do well.
• 1:00:22
No, it's it's it's just like it's one of those deals that you could
• 1:00:24
bring in a whole new team and ticket sales. Oh yeah, I mean
• 1:00:29
that's the money part. Yeah, that's the money part. Well they need
• 1:00:32
that money part too. BYU scored again? Did they eight thirteen? Now?
• 1:00:37
Oh? Oh? Oh Man ms Kendall's Slowa's just a good quarterback that
• 1:00:47
doesn't like to be in one place, USC, West Virginia. Am I
• 1:00:54
right on those? I know? I think USC was one was West Virginia.
• 1:00:58
The other one he went to the pit. Now that could be it.
• 1:01:00
I think he's quarterbacks moon. It's it's almost like he went to Pitt
• 1:01:04
and JT. Daniels went to West Virginia. Didn't that what it was because
• 1:01:07
they played each other? I don't even In another news, there's a tied
• 1:01:14
end trying for a record ninth season out in Miami. He played for Oregon,
• 1:01:21
got hurt like three years. He's trying to get another year of eligibility.
• 1:01:25
He's trying to get a ninth yel like he keeps getting hurt, and
• 1:01:28
it's at some point you gotta tell the kid, look, go be a
• 1:01:30
coach, Go be a strength and conditioning person, you know, educator,
• 1:01:36
something besides this. You might be great, but your injury prone. You
• 1:01:42
need to protect your body. Sorry, I was right. He's texting the
• 1:01:47
group. Stop texting the group business ready ready to gonne you? Well I
• 1:01:54
was ready. And now I'm seeing Cincinnati get their ass padded. So it's
• 1:01:58
like, well they go to on or we have fraud again? Say so
• 1:02:05
okay, so obviously, oh you place Cincinnati. Last week twenty to six
• 1:02:08
was the final. Everyone in the nation claims that Cincinnati's got a good defense.
• 1:02:13
Will they give up twenty eight to b YU? So what are we
• 1:02:15
doing now? Thoughts from the game? Creston, Please, I'm not saying
• 1:02:22
the word we need your dealing. Gabriel to ahead, Yeah, give it
• 1:02:27
up. That's here. He overthrew the ball away too many times, but
• 1:02:30
day letting me go ahead. It's still in Gabriel's yard. It's like God,
• 1:02:36
and say, don't say that about him. He but I did it.
• 1:02:39
He did. He overthrew a lot of passes that I mean, wide
• 1:02:44
open touchdown passes. And it just you talk about how good he is,
• 1:02:50
saying he's bad. Never said okay, good, I can say good.
• 1:02:53
I think he's a good quarterback. I've not used word great. He did
• 1:02:57
he did twenty six thirty eight. I was with George and you watching the
• 1:03:00
game. It was it was a struggle at first. Now, I thought
• 1:03:06
that Jeff bes uh motion offense was all motion, but no, that essentially
• 1:03:15
just takes one Yeah, it essentially takes one player out of the offense.
• 1:03:21
You're right, let's run motion and there's not. Actually well, now now
• 1:03:24
I don't mind running motion if you got some takers on defense. Hell,
• 1:03:29
he just stood there, knew he wasn't gonna do anything there was. It
• 1:03:32
was just gonna be a pass out to the flat, or it was gonna
• 1:03:37
be a run play. Yeah. Two things that impressed me the most though
• 1:03:42
about ohe you so far this year that I thought would be not as good
• 1:03:47
is the wide receivers. I think they've played really well. There's a lot
• 1:03:51
of talent on the wide receivers. They made good plays. And no,
• 1:03:55
and that was my second thing. I well my third I thought Gabriel's thrown
• 1:03:59
the all more accuracy than he did last year. I'm not saying he's great
• 1:04:02
Shakes, but I said he's better than he was last year. As far
• 1:04:04
as the deep throw, we've watched a lot, even in our three wins,
• 1:04:10
go over his head and we've talked about that. Now this game,
• 1:04:13
a few plays here and there. This game should have been thirty four to
• 1:04:15
six. But the most important obviously is defense. No doubt, the defense
• 1:04:19
is better. The talent is better. Now are we ready to play the
• 1:04:24
Texas? I don't think so. I've already called it. We're gonna lose,
• 1:04:28
and if we won't, all be ecstatic. But the only way we
• 1:04:30
beat Texas there's a lot of ways. The defense has got to play like
• 1:04:35
they have been and get a few turnovers, and the offense has to make
• 1:04:40
a couple big plays and I'm talking deep big plays. But the but the
• 1:04:44
most I mean has got to hold. But the most disappointing about this whole
• 1:04:49
year has been the offensive line to me, in the running game. And
• 1:04:54
that's probably correlated together. You know, now, do I think our running
• 1:04:58
backs are the best? I think our two best. We would all say,
• 1:05:00
as fans haven't been playing, is it an injury or they whatever Sawchuck
• 1:05:08
is back now, but he was injury before. I understand, So there's
• 1:05:11
something with him because they don't blame that much, does he not? I'm
• 1:05:14
not. I'm just no, no, no, he yeah. Is it
• 1:05:20
one of them deals where he's not smart enough to remember all the plays?
• 1:05:25
It's really I don't know if he has it here. I don't know if
• 1:05:28
it's the smartness. I think it's more of the I wonder if it's what
• 1:05:31
they're doing in practice. You know, Vinibles has made some of these cryptic
• 1:05:34
things about well, you gotta be there, you gotta be the one doing
• 1:05:38
it. You can't be making mistakes. And I honestly think that they are
• 1:05:41
punishment. That's exactly what I's gonna say. They're punishers. And bomb Stoops
• 1:05:45
was exactly like that. We used to joke if you'd fumble as a running
• 1:05:47
back, we'll see you next week. Yeah, you never see so much
• 1:05:50
getting rist of the game, they'd put someone else in. Don't fumble,
• 1:05:53
that's the one thing you don't do. Luckily, the Vikings don't have that
• 1:05:58
theory about Madison because he's on my fantasy team. Also, it's so great.
• 1:06:04
No, I'm just saying because he bubbles all time. But yeah,
• 1:06:06
I do remember. You do remember when when run after we drafted, Zach
• 1:06:11
did the rundown of who drafted the best and the worst? We were kind
• 1:06:15
of at the bottom. I was still are at the bottom. You're one
• 1:06:18
win and three losses. You're not at the top, You're at the bottom.
• 1:06:21
I'm not saying I'm not. I'm just at the very I'm just saying
• 1:06:25
I wouldn't say I'm not. I mean I left fifty points, Zach is.
• 1:06:28
I left fifty points in the bench just above you. I mean,
• 1:06:30
it was it was a bad It was a bad game, Zach Is just
• 1:06:31
I've done that twice. So so we put Cousins in, got Lawrence out
• 1:06:35
on mine. So yes, So going back to you, listen, am
• 1:06:42
I sold that we're anywhere cposed to being that? No, no, we're
• 1:06:45
not, but we're getting better. I've already made my prediction prediction. Twenty
• 1:06:50
twenty five is our year, and we'll go from there. Kidney's prediction prediction,
• 1:06:57
Well, I think the we talked about eleven is going to stay around.
• 1:07:00
You know, I don't know, my brows think piss him off.
• 1:07:03
The play calling last week was a little I mean, we were moving the
• 1:07:06
ball down the field was very subs but this is his first year of being
• 1:07:11
the second year, sorry, the second year being there. I know he
• 1:07:14
was the o c at oh Miss. You know Lane, Lane has got
• 1:07:18
his fingers all over that. How can we go from explosive play called explosive
• 1:07:25
play called explosive play called two let's go to Cincinnati and just dumb it down.
• 1:07:31
I don't know, I think they. I think he tries to get
• 1:07:33
too cute. I've kind of said that, and and I don't know if
• 1:07:36
it's too cute, is trying new stuff or is it too year up by
• 1:07:41
thirty try new stuff? If? I'm kind of with that, But then
• 1:07:44
I also think, no, you're only trying new stuff when you want to
• 1:07:45
win big against the game, that's gonna be a little tighter. And I
• 1:07:49
think that spread, No, but I think there was some mental But that
• 1:07:54
spread that you had, it actually dropped so the nation at that in Vegas,
• 1:07:59
Oh you did care for the spread? They're four and oh and covering
• 1:08:00
was spread. It actually dropped down. No, I know, I know,
• 1:08:04
but I'm just saying in reality before the kickoff it did. So we're
• 1:08:08
four and oh it gets his spread, which we were not that way with
• 1:08:11
Lincoln Riley anyway. But no, but we've been spoiled for the offense.
• 1:08:15
I mean, you know, I would rather win a game twenty to six
• 1:08:17
versus a game fifty nine fifty six. Win the game. I mean,
• 1:08:21
no, no, and I agree with that. And that's what I'm saying.
• 1:08:24
We're four and oh we weren't. That's you know, we're talking game.
• 1:08:27
Bob didn't win a lot of games by a lot that he was supposed
• 1:08:29
to blow out. No, we had some weird ones like his second year.
• 1:08:32
For his first year, we went seven and no six. First year
• 1:08:36
we were six and no. It was seven and six final because that was
• 1:08:43
with the Bowl loss. We lost to Mississippi in the Bowl, so it
• 1:08:45
was seven and seven. It was our final because regular season was seven and
• 1:08:49
five. Then we beat Florida State. But that weird, you know,
• 1:08:53
that year we beat A and M by a bunch. It was kind of
• 1:08:56
one of them weird, just kicked the ship out of them and they were
• 1:08:58
pretty good. It is that the seven and then we lost. No,
• 1:09:00
that was a couple of years later. We were really good then. But
• 1:09:03
no, but that first year we beat them out of the blue, so
• 1:09:09
he had some big wins. I don't know. I just I like the
• 1:09:12
defense. That's what It's what we have wanted as fans, and we're getting
• 1:09:16
a taste. So we better stop stop, you know, vomiting on the
• 1:09:20
offense not being what it was, because you're not gonna get both those.
• 1:09:25
It just doesn't happen. I'm not vomiting on the offense being what it was,
• 1:09:28
I am saying. And our future quarterback is there on top getting so
• 1:09:33
damn conservative. How many times did we see him? Here's a run,
• 1:09:40
  here's a run. I think we're going to pass. We're trying. They're
• 1:09:44
trying a little too hard to get that running game going at times. Yeah,
• 1:09:47
and but then what's working you can get If you got your passing game
• 1:09:50
going, you can work. That's what we can go away from. But
• 1:09:56
you can get your boon boom. They're open all over. You can start
• 1:10:00
getting your running game built, pushing them farther down the field. I agree,
• 1:10:03
but I think they need to do more than our tight end game with
• 1:10:08
Levy's been weak. And I don't know. I came back, Yeah,
• 1:10:12
I don't know if now Davia and Mitchell recruit that were getting in. I
• 1:10:14
mean he'll start next year as a true freshman. No, I don't know
• 1:10:19
anything. Do you know who I saw? But I don't think we played
• 1:10:21
him as much as far as do you do? You know who I saw
• 1:10:25
the last week? Just randomly on Monday, Calcatara oh at at Philly Philly.
• 1:10:31
Yes, I forgot he was on there. Did he make a play?
• 1:10:34
I believe it. Did? I know he was in there for a
• 1:10:36
block, but yeah, he was he I think he caught a pass or
• 1:10:40
two spread spread this week for US nineteen and a half, nudge and a
• 1:10:43
half versus Iowa States at home. It's a night game, thank god,
• 1:10:46
Oh god, six o'clock never appreciates night game. We uh, we have
• 1:10:50
some baby birthday parties to do. Kreston has to go to his in laws.
• 1:10:57
Good luck with that. Your wife's gonna murder you in ways. So
• 1:11:00
what do you think? I don't have to I could just do whatever I
• 1:11:02
  want. I don't. I don't want to say I don't want to say
• 1:11:06
it because it's always wrong. Throwout sixty four to two, little off there,
• 1:11:14
it doesn't matter. Hopefully it gets us a good pounding. So I'm
• 1:11:19
at sixty four ten. Let's do that, Okay, I got you.
• 1:11:23
I'm just gonna I'm getting crazy with it. Did you run it up?
• 1:11:26
I think I found those from last week and I was like, what the
• 1:11:28
hell is the fourteen seventeen still keeping defense under twenty? I see? Yes,
• 1:11:36
yes, I agree with my captain. Two Oh, I know,
• 1:11:40
I know. I don't want to get two. I want to I'm gonna
• 1:11:44
  go. I don't want it's get a safety. I'm gonna go. I'm
• 1:11:46
close to that. I'm gonna go forty two thirteen. I think we score
• 1:11:49
a little bit better. Somebody's trying to get in the middle of this.
• 1:11:53
No, I now it feel hard to get in the middle when you're I.
• 1:11:58
I could see seventies. I'm little, three fat, I can see
• 1:12:00
some low seven. I can see some low I'm sorry, seven, I
• 1:12:03
can see some low fifties. I could see it. I think it's how
• 1:12:08
I don't think hops. I don't think it's gonna gonna go into sixties.
• 1:12:12
All right, So and and then let's talk a little bit. Only only
• 1:12:16
year Only year prodigy is picked Iowa State. So let's move on a little
• 1:12:20
bit before we move on to some other college as we do, you do.
• 1:12:25
I want to talk about I want to preview a little bit about techna
• 1:12:30
go to that Kansas. So let's talk about Yeah, we'll talk about Kansas
• 1:12:34
and Texas this week sixteen and a half, and then I want to segue
• 1:12:38
a little bit into can't Texas owe you after we close on that Kansas?
• 1:12:44
I know, but just a preview, just a preview, because I want
• 1:12:46
a preview of your fire chief trying and Kansas Texas. We all picked them
• 1:12:53
Kansas to cover. Why do you think that I'm thinking that Kansas is not
• 1:12:59
that bad of a team. I am too, And I'm thinking I've watched
• 1:13:01
Texas play. Didn't they play Rice or something the second game? And it
• 1:13:05
was close until the fourth corner. Yeah, but it was close to the
• 1:13:09
fourth quarter. You're right, Texas hasn't been without Bijon and Roshan. Texas
• 1:13:15
has not been that mega offense that they had been. Yours just carrying the
• 1:13:20
offense. You were just carrying the offense right now. Now he's had some
• 1:13:24
problems throwing a little bit, like you say about Gabriels, the balls that
• 1:13:29
not necessarily just the deep balls too. His intermediate stuff's not been so great
• 1:13:33
too. Now, one thing that I like about Texas though, is the
• 1:13:38
offensive and defensive line. I think they have the best line in the Big
• 1:13:40
Twelve both sides, and the offensive line might give enough time because that's the
• 1:13:45
problem with OU, you don't. They need more pressure from that defensive line
• 1:13:51
because if they give up too much time, those guys in the middle or
• 1:13:55
right on the corners are going to find open spaces. We've seen it throw
• 1:13:58
you with too much time. Quarterbacks moving thirty three points a game, who's
• 1:14:03
that? I'm sorry, Texas, Texas. Yeah, in the Wyoming game,
• 1:14:06
it was close going into the third or fourth quarter. Yeah, they
• 1:14:10
get they get done to that fourth quarter and it was ten ten. They
• 1:14:13
scored two late touchdowns and then got a turnover that turned into a touchdown.
• 1:14:15
So intercept might have been a pick six or something. But I mean,
• 1:14:18
but hey, listen, Texas is back as far as it comes to Big
• 1:14:23
Twelve standings. This year they were the favorite. I picked them to win
• 1:14:28
the Big Twelve. I think you all did too, and we either had
• 1:14:32
them OSHU or Kansas State in the championship. They got one of them.
• 1:14:36
Three I think that we ever picked. But so when we that week.
• 1:14:41
Did we're in Kansas. Texas has a bay Yu game which will be really
• 1:14:44
interesting. Oh yeah, but see Texas has got a pretty easy, nice
• 1:14:48
set up schedule too. All their tough games tend to come at home.
• 1:14:53
Well, not in Texas Tech, because you remember, they've already paid the
• 1:14:57
referees. Yeah, I think that they were talking him that texts that TCU
• 1:15:00
was the last big game after you, But commissioners already paid the has already
• 1:15:06
paid the refs in the Texas Tech game too. Probably go ahead and you
• 1:15:11
know, take take away. But in reality there are aspects. In reality,
• 1:15:17
though Big twelves down, it's way down this year. The teams aren't
• 1:15:21
near as good. And no we I joke that we had a scenario where
• 1:15:27
two Big twelve teams could make it to the final four, which I still
• 1:15:30
think there is, but it's so minute because you would need Georgia, you
• 1:15:34
need all the all the blown up. Well, I think they're gonna they're
• 1:15:40
gonna blow up. Him says, I think that's what I'm want to talk
• 1:15:42
about. Load. No, No, I think they just eat each other
• 1:15:45
alive. I think you're just gonna all play each other and ones and ones
• 1:15:47
and we want to talk about that because we pulled up the schedules. But
• 1:15:49
anyways, we talk about Kansas. I like the running quarterback. I want
• 1:15:54
to see what he does against Texas defensive line, because even Texas people hold
• 1:16:00
on, is it Jayden Daniels or Jayleen Daniels, It's Shaden, No,
• 1:16:05
  it's Jaden. I think it's James. Yeah, it's Jade. Who's Who's
• 1:16:11
Jayleen Daniels? Yeah? I think I got that. Yeah, So I
• 1:16:16
want to see what if they can throw the ball. The secondary from Texas
• 1:16:19
hasn't been tested a whole lot because the front seven, we haven't seen a
• 1:16:24
lot of people throw the ball. Rice did for a little bit just because
• 1:16:26
you had experienced why but they didn't. I mean, but it's been more
• 1:16:31
futility on the offense. I thought for Texas this problem than the defense.
• 1:16:34
Defense has looked really good. They've you said, they've averaged, but look
• 1:16:39
what they've held everyone down to. Alabama had twenty four points. But that
• 1:16:44
quarterback can't throw very well. And then he did move the ball with his
• 1:16:47
legs. Obviously you've got Daniels gonna be able to do that. Let's see
• 1:16:51
if he can throw the ball if you can get it past the linebackers,
• 1:16:54
you got ten fifteen yards. Let's see what Dallas has or what Texas has
• 1:16:58
that's going to translate to Dallas for us. Oh, you was gonna watch
• 1:17:01
that game, probably more than any game to watch kids. Yeah, in
• 1:17:05
Texas, see if they could come up with anything that they're doing differently.
• 1:17:10
And and I think we might have picked uh uh we went. We might
• 1:17:14
have picked Alabama a little too high. Who did you? I forgot who
• 1:17:16
you had winning the East because I had Els. I don't remember who I
• 1:17:21
had winning that. I would have had Alabama a second, yeah, a
• 1:17:26
  M third, I think I had A and M high. That's just it.
• 1:17:30
They lost their quarterback, they lost weigh Yeah, but I still think
• 1:17:32
they're gonna be is in Arkansas this week. Max Johnson, Yeah, Brad
• 1:17:38
Johnson's kids gonna be quarterback. He's played quarterback last year. He got JJ
• 1:17:42
Jefferson's not that bad of a quarterback. But Arkansas to me, just done.
• 1:17:47
I think that's the only lost in it. Bad bad by You killed
• 1:17:51
Arkansas. It was a pretty baddown. Oh. Now, I think they
• 1:17:57
kicked their actuchdown game. I think it was maybe two to three scores.
• 1:18:01
I could be wrong, but I thought it was like thirty eight to ten
• 1:18:04
or thirty eight to thirteen or something. No, no, no, no,
• 1:18:08
no, no, no, no no, that was thirty thirty one.
• 1:18:11
Yeah, this was a one score game. Then who did did Arkansas
• 1:18:15
lose? Then they only have one loss? Don't they see what their schedule
• 1:18:18
is? I thought they had a bad loss to somebody. You know what
• 1:18:25
it is. It is poop. No, it's just the one loss.
• 1:18:29
It's not them. No, they're two and two. No less she was
• 1:18:33
closed too. Yeah, I thought they lost that worse than that. Hey
• 1:18:39
whatever I mean by maybe especially what we thought and I had b why you
• 1:18:43
probably middle. I don't know what happened to pick everybody? No, so
• 1:18:49
where where are they? I don't know where we flipped the board closing on
• 1:18:54
college. As far as the Big twelve, we'll see what happens. I
• 1:18:58
think we'll get to see. Uh stupid six o'clock? Is O use game
• 1:19:03
Texas? King Texas? Is? I think it is because I know we've
• 1:19:10
got up. Yeah, I just I just two thirty okay, perfect,
• 1:19:13
So you're gonna get to watch USC two thirty. Oh that's the other thing.
• 1:19:16
How many points. Is Colorado scoring in UFC? What do you think?
• 1:19:21
Oh? God, probably at the end and probably twenty one, twenty
• 1:19:26
one, twenty twenty four. You talked about Arizona stair Alier. You brought
• 1:19:29
that in because they scored up at going into the fourth quarter ten minutes left,
• 1:19:31
score was twenty six twenty one USC. Oh, sorry, twenty seven
• 1:19:36
twenty one USC. They were at scores thirty four thirty four US. So
• 1:19:42
you're going a little higher. You think probably USC scores fifties. Yeah,
• 1:19:45
okay, w' be interesting. I mean, I'm kind of intrigued by that
• 1:19:49
game, even though I know it's gonna be a lot of slop. If
• 1:19:53
and Colorado unless you be honest to the NFL, does he take Ryan Day
• 1:19:56
with him? And Colorado is not willing to have their best players still with
• 1:20:00
Travis Hunter? What's that if Lincoln Riley goes to the NFL, as he
• 1:20:02
take Ryan Day with him? No? No, Ryan Day's no, nor
• 1:20:06
Day's a head coach of the state. How state's top five? No?
• 1:20:13
Talking about Alex Grinch. Ye, Now do you think that love Fair has
• 1:20:15
done at that point? No? I think he's waiting for him to get
• 1:20:17
a head coaching job and that's over. I mean, nobody's gonna hire that
• 1:20:21
guy if that's gonna be an interesting end of the year. That's why I
• 1:20:27
think that it's easier for Lincoln to leave fast go to La the Chargers.
• 1:20:32
They're gonna pay him ten million a year. It's probably what he makes already.
• 1:20:36
But he don't have to recruit anymore, now does he stay? Who's
• 1:20:41
behind him with Caleb Williams. It's the Malachi Nelson guy, I think it's
• 1:20:45
his name for and kind of a rattler type player. She's from what we
• 1:20:49
saw in high school. Yeah, very much. Now you're talking then eight
• 1:20:56
wins maybe maybe maybe it's the US he's building now recruiting a little bit.
• 1:21:01
They're getting better talent. You see old USC where they can't win, can't
• 1:21:08
get a coach, but not not Pete Carroll USC more like no, no,
• 1:21:13
no, I mean after Lincoln and Lincoln leaves, they turned back into
• 1:21:16
that higher coach every year every two years because they can't figure out who essentially
• 1:21:23
because it's a weird job. I mean, so they they're gonna go to
• 1:21:25
the Big ten and they're gonna get spanked. Yes, like we talked about
• 1:21:29
eleven am kickoffs and just and November thirty and it's snowing like a son of
• 1:21:32
a bitch and they're just getting their ass pounded. And he ain't gonna have
• 1:21:36
a quarterback getting ready to run around on the slick field all day long and
• 1:21:39
throwing these huge see passes in the yak is out of this world. And
• 1:21:43
when I took when I when when I took the over for when I took
• 1:21:45
the over for Tulsa, it was because Kevin Wilson was a big tin head
• 1:21:51
coach and he know, he learned from that how to play that big tin
• 1:21:55
ball. Well, so now you've got big tin ball and you look at
• 1:22:00
our offense. And he was here at Oklahoma. He really had a focus
• 1:22:02
on running the ball, smash mouth, oh line. He kind of reminds
• 1:22:06
me a lot of Mark Mangino. You know, we had Chuck third lond
• 1:22:10
for a little bit third and long, and I didn't like that period.
• 1:22:13
Paul Thompson was the only one. I didn't like that period. But I
• 1:22:15
like the smash mouth, tough nos all the line running back. So we're
• 1:22:19
react shan on time one twenty two. All right, all right, let's
• 1:22:23
move on. Oh you big. Everyone says, oh, you big,
• 1:22:27
and they should. Texas will be fun, all right. Last, I
• 1:22:29
want to talk a little bit about the PAC twelve pull up schedule. We've
• 1:22:32
talked about the PAC twelve eating themselves alive. I wanted to talk about that
• 1:22:38
Washington. Who is Peenix. Peenix looks about to score kid, Yeah,
• 1:22:45
Peenix looks. I mean right now, he's the Heisman winner. I think
• 1:22:51
just overall, So Jordan Travis over there, yeah, I don't but any
• 1:22:56
Phoenix hasn't been challenged, so he has, uh, Peenix. Hardest hardest
• 1:23:00
game was Tulsa, I mean Boise State Tulsa, Michigan State. I mean
• 1:23:04
that's a pretty good non IM saying that, but they didn't plan it didn't
• 1:23:11
weeks before the game. I'm saying that was a pretty good planned non conference
• 1:23:15
schedule. California. They won fifty nine thirty two. Defense, give up
• 1:23:17
a little more, and I thought, so here we go Arizona off week
• 1:23:21
and then they go organ easy, easy at USC. I don't want to
• 1:23:29
talk about somebody that almost that almost screwed us over and that that Stanford under.
• 1:23:32
I took the Stanford in the under. I did two happen. There's
• 1:23:39
the Arizona. Try to screw that out of his last Stanford just one way
• 1:23:42
and so far they still Christ and pull up the USC. Are you us
• 1:23:45
here organ, he says, there squid obviously Colorado tomorrow. Yes, And
• 1:23:53
then they have Arizona, and then they have Notre Dame. Utah, No,
• 1:23:58
we're no back up at Notre Dame. Yes, okay, they got
• 1:24:03
you taught home? This is USC roight USC. So they've already had their
• 1:24:08
bye week, if I'm not mistaken, way early, go back up and
• 1:24:11
see if there's a gap like after week two. Yeah, the ninth in
• 1:24:15
the twenty third, so there was their bye weekly. Do that unless they've
• 1:24:19
got another random one down there. But I mean I saw that too,
• 1:24:24
and I was like, man, that's an early guy. That's where we
• 1:24:26
had ten teams. We used to take two bye weeks, yeah, big
• 1:24:29
twelve. Yes, no, they did not have another bye week. They
• 1:24:31
took this. See that wasn't advantageous to them at all? Can you stop?
• 1:24:35
So so they have Notre Dame. They have to go to Notre Dame
• 1:24:40
and play they get you taught home? They play Cal. That's nothing at
• 1:24:45
Cal, I know, And then they get Washington at home. They say
• 1:24:49
that's gonna be and then they have to go to Oregon. There, what's
• 1:24:53
the date on that, November eleventh, Okay, and then they have us
• 1:24:59
you see LA to close out the season. Well, well, will m,
• 1:25:04
but I mean you you go Utah, Washington, and Oregon four out
• 1:25:11
of five weeks. Well, I think we talked about this for Utah has
• 1:25:14
the hardest schedule out of this. Yeah, Oregon, now we would have
• 1:25:18
included Utah in that before until tonight. Yeah, I think so, because
• 1:25:25
I mean that's one loss. I think he had their starting quarterback. If
• 1:25:29
he comes back, he's gonna have to win them all because he's already got
• 1:25:32
a conference loss. That's gonna bring him down a little bit. But Oregon
• 1:25:35
State could place him. Well, Oregans, Oregans. Oregan's got a sweet
• 1:25:41
piece this week. They got Stanford, So that's gonna be. You're gonna
• 1:25:44
see a lot of the lot of the backups in a lot of them,
• 1:25:49
they eat and they jump and they jump right into the meat of their schedule.
• 1:25:56
Well, no, and that's what's in there. Go to Washington,
• 1:25:58
Washington State comes to them, then they go to Utah, cal comes to
• 1:26:01
them, but they get USC at home. Well, if Washington Washington beats
• 1:26:08
uh Arizona, which we figure they should, and Oregon beats Stanford, obviously
• 1:26:15
that goes to what is that that'd be the seventh is the week they're all?
• 1:26:21
Game day'll be there because they both have a bye week and they're playing
• 1:26:26
right coming in Washington. Do you think? Yeah, I don't know,
• 1:26:32
Yes, for sure, market down slap a label on it. Well,
• 1:26:36
hold on, hold on, they're in a bigger game. That's two top,
• 1:26:42
that's two. Yeah, that's October four, because I've got I'm predicting
• 1:26:45
that OU in Texas will be game day. That will be the premo.
• 1:26:48
They have to be seventh. There's North Yes, yeah, and I think
• 1:26:54
we both Yeah, I do, I do. I think we both will
• 1:26:59
just simply because we're playing nobody and I think Texas. I don't think Texas
• 1:27:02
is gonna cover, but I do think that they're gonna win. So you
• 1:27:08
could see a Syracuse, Florida state would you call me? That's an Arkansas,
• 1:27:15
Alabama nob and LSU Miami North Kaka would be an option raby right there
• 1:27:23
mayby maybe mayby, maybe byby mayby, baby A and m in Tennessee,
• 1:27:30
Oklahoma. Steak chance possible too? Oh no right there? No you a
• 1:27:36
chance? Not a chance? Why not? Their name's already got lost.
• 1:27:40
You got two undefeated Pac twelve teams in the top ten eight nine. They'll
• 1:27:45
be at Washington. Who's Washington next week? Uh? Look at Arizona State.
• 1:27:49
I got it right here. No, no, no, Arizona,
• 1:27:51
Arizona regular Arizona, Yes, regulars. So a lot of gisu. Yeah,
• 1:28:01
I've got like degenerative max or fat neck is what we call it.
• 1:28:05
But anyway, so moving on, No, it's I couldn't do drunken summersaults
• 1:28:12
on the Oh Jesus, all right, as we lead college to do that,
• 1:28:15
Hey, as we lead college giving your final four best teams, not
• 1:28:18
who's gonna make the final four? Just you look at the final four right
• 1:28:21
now? The best teams in college football? Are they are? I still
• 1:28:25
have Florida State as one of the best four. Are you ranking them right
• 1:28:29
now? Are just giving the I'm just I'm just I'm saying, Okay,
• 1:28:31
I do have Florida State as best because they've already they've already gone through.
• 1:28:34
They have the best wins, Yes, they do er quality. I have
• 1:28:39
them number one. This is where I gotta put Ohio State right now.
• 1:28:46
I also have Ohio State. I have to Michigan does not have any quality
• 1:28:50
wins because Michigan, Michigan's gonna beat ohigh statement, but right now, right
• 1:28:58
now, right now, so I'd have to go Hive State too, because
• 1:29:00
they beat four game. They're number four again. I have Organ, I've
• 1:29:05
got Oregon. They are on a tear and you know, we all keep
• 1:29:12
secretly whispering, Dad landing to Alabama, What's what's Organ on a tear about?
• 1:29:16
They're putting up Colorado. They beat that big Colorado team. They were
• 1:29:21
ranked. How time were they ranked? They were ranked number twelve or something.
• 1:29:25
Okay, I still think that that good. I'm saying they're a complete
• 1:29:29
team. I've got because the fifth who else did I I want to say
• 1:29:35
Georgia, but I can't. I've got Georgia. I've got Georgia. Georgia,
• 1:29:40
I know they've got right now, but they're having I know, and
• 1:29:44
I think they're the best team. They've killed everybody they played. They're number
• 1:29:47
one. They're number one for a reason. They have the best defense.
• 1:29:50
I'm still in Georgia then, but yeah, I just I had Texas and
• 1:29:54
I just really just went through My entire top five was great. Okay,
• 1:30:00
so if you're going, okay, if you go off the winds, I
• 1:30:02
thought Texas had a Texas, Georgian, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State,
• 1:30:06
Texas, and Florida State, that that would have to be the top four.
• 1:30:10
Yeah. I got Florida State, Georgia two, Texas three, OSU
• 1:30:13
four. Yeah yeah, every night right now, right now. But I
• 1:30:16
still I still think Oregon could I had Organ five, Yeah, I did.
• 1:30:21
I was gonna slide them, but I liked Texas wind better and I
• 1:30:26
really liked Ohio State's window. You don't want lash or Clemson they were they
• 1:30:29
were a little tougher. I would put LSU creeping back up there because they
• 1:30:33
lost to Florida State. I think they're number six seven. Yeah, no,
• 1:30:36
No, your son's just I just I just totally missed. He still
• 1:30:41
loves that Phoenix. I just missed. Oh we haven't done the updated college
• 1:30:46
final four now we haven't. Well, that's kind of what we're doing right
• 1:30:49
now, not not that final four. What's gonna be there. I just
• 1:30:51
wanted the final four right now. Anything on that for a minute crescent you
• 1:30:56
fished had fish. I don't think he wants to talk about twenty I think
• 1:31:00
twenty first place, seven hundred and fifty dollars. What what do you got
• 1:31:03
hen wise? Opening days? What? What Sunday? Sunday Sunday? Right?
• 1:31:08
Yeah, he was in the top if you were in the top five,
• 1:31:12
weren't top two. I was tenth after day one with with a pound
• 1:31:15
a pound and a half I think is what you said, a pound a
• 1:31:18
pound to get to third. I was less than a pound being in third
• 1:31:23
place after day one. And then he listened to Thomas and they didn't know,
• 1:31:27
here's the deal. Here's the deal we got to get off of.
• 1:31:31
We were counting on the rain and the cloudiness putting the fish where we wanted
• 1:31:36
them. It rained overnight, but not as bad as we thought, and
• 1:31:41
it was a bright blue bird sky the next day, not to cloud in
• 1:31:44
the sky. It's like that cartoon with the bluebirds serpents. I knew,
• 1:31:49
I knew it was gonna suck as soon as the day started. A fandy
• 1:31:54
that starts out that way, or the song of the snows snow white and
• 1:31:57
seven to worse is that? Who the bluebirds come? It's some Disney.
• 1:32:00
Yeah, that's whatever. You're on the boat flying the South was all like
• 1:32:08
you shoulder and everything, laying on the floor. You should probably the rain
• 1:32:15
go. But seriously, Yeah, when the sun started coming up, I
• 1:32:18
mean we're sitting out there on the water, bobbing around and we're twenty minutes
• 1:32:23
to take off and you look and there's not a cloud in the sky.
• 1:32:25
I mean, there's just stars. And I'm like Jeanie because we had talked
• 1:32:29
about it on the last pod that if I could get rain, my better
• 1:32:32
day would be Sunday. And it didn't happen. It was it was partly
• 1:32:40
cloudy on Saturday, and I think that's I mean that helped us. Sunday
• 1:32:43
there was not a cloud and no wind, no wind whatsoever. It was
• 1:32:46
just glass. You're all fishing this week. He moved to fishing next week.
• 1:32:50
You follow big tournament, you follow a big money. Yeah, we
• 1:32:54
have a big We have a weird thing going on because wife's leaving. He's
• 1:32:58
going to California going on a you follow, the kids are going somewhere.
• 1:33:03
Yeah, we're all supposed to be at your house for the OU game.
• 1:33:06
That's how you Texas, Texas game. Yeah, I will get to want
• 1:33:10
a big moon, yes, eleven. So I have to listen to it
• 1:33:14
on the boat. I'm fishing for too much money not to fish. Sorry,
• 1:33:20
yeah, you see, just used play it didn't got I'd go with
• 1:33:24
you, but I have to make fun of Craig exactly. That was losing.
• 1:33:28
There might be a new T shirt coming, man, and a must
• 1:33:32
only if we win. Only if we win. Oh no, it might
• 1:33:35
be coming no matter what. So as as we get ready to leave by
• 1:33:42
us killing Cincinnati, it's not. It's fifteen points eleven and eleven and a
• 1:33:47
half to go, and we get yes, and they seem to just be
• 1:33:53
able to move the ball. Oh what the hell happened there? I don't
• 1:33:57
know. It's crazy change a few Who knows what was in Utah? I
• 1:34:01
don't want to look at it. It was too was a little bit twenty
• 1:34:05
one. Yeah, and thankas had that right too, you know, And
• 1:34:10
I really thought NC State also lost for Louisville, Ky said Louisville quietly sneaking
• 1:34:17
in not ranked JCC new quarterback. I'm sorry new coach he left produced Jeff
• 1:34:25
Brahm is now at his alma mater. U took youtub and that's Jake Plumber's
• 1:34:30
boy, that coach that plays quarterback at Louisville Jake. Anything else, No,
• 1:34:39
it's uh, let's just go that. Zach was the only one that
• 1:34:41
took was staked. He hates the family. We're pretty much all split on
• 1:34:45
the Duke. Notre Dame. We didn't talk about that. I I go,
• 1:34:50
obviously I took Notre Dame. A lot of you guys said the books,
• 1:34:55
she too. Notre Dame is interesting because I liked their quarterback a lot,
• 1:34:59
and their deep looks pretty good. If they can win this game that
• 1:35:03
they potentially could win the ACC they got Florida State. They go in there
• 1:35:10
and look on that last tab. Oh do you want to talk about the
• 1:35:14
wins last week for the three of us? Oh? Yeah, mentioned that
• 1:35:16
or picks last week? Gives picks last week six and four, Mine six
• 1:35:19
and four. Seawn's is four and six. I think we did that at
• 1:35:23
the beginning already. I don't think we have to rubb it. Oh.
• 1:35:26
I didn't think we did. No, I didn't think we talked about it.
• 1:35:29
Four and six though, Sean four and six, I'm sorry you've been
• 1:35:31
four and six like twice. Go to the last tab on that totals.
• 1:35:38
Week totals go to the very last tab at the bottom. Okay, it
• 1:35:42
should show you week totals every it should show you complete totals. Yeah,
• 1:35:46
and it should say who's in the lead right now, so far on your
• 1:35:51
far right. Four weeks in yep, about four weeks currently. Yes,
• 1:35:57
I am twenty one at nineteen, chrest in nineteen and twenty one, Sean
• 1:36:02
is twenty and twenty, Zach twenty five and fifteen. Stinger, she is
• 1:36:10
lucky, but he has claimed he and he got lucky with that kid six
• 1:36:15
twenty four, Hannah's fifteen and twenty five, and Hunter has a winning record,
• 1:36:17
which is impressive because Sean does not AnyWho what do you mean, Oh,
• 1:36:23
I'm sorry, Christ is not I'm nineteen in twenty one. But then
• 1:36:28
the complete standings of who's who's winning currently is right here on that side.
• 1:36:31
Yeah, twenty one and nineteen. No, No, the people, the
• 1:36:33
people's names, Zach, Hunter, Kinny, which is tied. Yeah,
• 1:36:36
kinnis tied. And then Sean is a dip below, Chresten is a dip
• 1:36:40
below, and then it just goes to ship after that. Well, that's
• 1:36:42
what happens when you picked the Belts. Anyway, it was every game,
• 1:36:45
but Hannah, big comeback for her. She's already three not this week,
• 1:36:47
so good for her. Hey, listen football, as the spreads start to
• 1:36:54
shrink, Miami was the most popular game we took in the spread. I
• 1:36:59
didn't take nine. Yeah, that's and that's know you and you find that
• 1:37:03
ironics though that as we close out. I know you well, I had
• 1:37:09
to because I run in my mouth. But it is ironic that that is
• 1:37:13
the best game and most of us pick that, and they picked the Dolphins.
• 1:37:16
It's kind of shipping on the Bills right now. And they've looked good
• 1:37:19
since they're opening week lost and that loss, that loss was a fluke.
• 1:37:25
That first game, everything went wrong. We've seen it now as we is
• 1:37:30
ou Cincinnati, as we look at Cincinnati getting beat by fifteen points and getting
• 1:37:33
read at score. Was that our game we fluked on? You think,
• 1:37:38
do you hope? I would hope, so I would hope that hope.
• 1:37:41
There's always one and maybe we want it. I don't know. Maybe they
• 1:37:45
took it for granted. I all the because Iowa State is not to me
• 1:37:48
a team that we're going to sit there and take for granted, I really
• 1:37:51
don't think so. I don't think it's gonna be high scoring. We went
• 1:37:54
a little higher, but I mean, I think defense is gonna play well
• 1:37:59
and stocking and they just let driving no being away at our quarterback. This
• 1:38:05
year we do we do at NYU, that's later. We're going to the
• 1:38:10
Mormons later down the road, and that's probably provo. We go there,
• 1:38:15
and we go to TCU. I think I don't care. That's the last.
• 1:38:18
Those are the hard games. Beat Texas, be good to go.
• 1:38:23
So what were you done? Is it? Is it gonna be yall next
• 1:38:26
week? Yeah? All right by everybody, hopefully, Yeah, prodigial sound
• 1:38:31
  We'll be back
