Speaker 1: That hasn't worked since you bought the car.
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: Subaru Forester 2025.
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: Incorrectly manufactured wheels.
• 2:44
Speaker 1: What On a Subaru, martha?
• 2:49
Speaker 1: Martha, that looks like a 1958 Studebaker wheel on there, martha that looks square, poor Martha.

• 3:22
Speaker 1: 2023 is the pinpoint year for that, so you might want to check with your Toyota or Lexus dealer.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: I like it when you call it a Toy-yoder Toyota, toyota.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Okay, you ready for the Hemings Sold Car Roundup?
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, we could do that, because we've now added pictures by request, because I know, oh, we can't see it.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: Well, you know, we are an audio.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: He didn't show us either.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: So we're an audio company, so you're supposed to use your imagination and envision this, okay.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: So our first one out of the box this morning is a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: Now, I had a Chevrolet Camaro SS that looked very similar to that red one that you're looking at there.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: Mine was dark blue and it came from a upfit company out of Detroit.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: I can't remember the name of the company.
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: I had a 92 RS Victory Red.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a fun car because it had the Corvette motor in it.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: It had a six-speed manual transmission.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: I really liked mine.
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: So a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro.
• 4:27
Speaker 1: How much do you think that that sold for on the Hemmingscom?
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: Sold cars roundup.
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: I got this.
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: I got this.
• 4:33
  Speaker 2: All right, $11,000.
• 4:34
  Speaker 2: $11,000.
• 4:36
Speaker 3: What do you think there, Mars?
• 4:37
Speaker 3: I was thinking close to $15,000.
• 4:39
  Speaker 3: Really.
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: How about $33,600?
• 4:42
Speaker 2: Well then you're wrong.
• 4:44
Speaker 3: Excuse me, I was looking at the wrong picture.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: No you were looking at the right picture, but that car right there sold for $33,600.
• 4:51
  Speaker 3: A hogwash.
• 4:52
Speaker 1: You know, as I've always said, all it takes is that one person that wants that car and they're going to bid it up.
• 4:57
Speaker 3: I've got to have that car at whatever price, jeffrey.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: I think that I had a car almost exactly like this and I absolutely loved the car A 1993, I think mine was a 92, something like that.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: Anyway, a 1993 Cadillac DeVille, yeah, and this one here looks super clean, has the wire wheel covers on it, white wall tires, it looks completely stock and beautimous.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: How much do you think that sold, for what year?
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: Again, ninety-three, ninety-three, ninety-three.
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: Cadillac Coupe DeVille.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: Eighteen thousand Eighteen, that's a pretty car, but I'd say twelve.
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: How about $7,300?
• 5:45
Speaker 2: Jeff, I was going to buy three of them.
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: Seriously, I would buy that I would buy that too.
• 5:52
Speaker 3: Well see, then you would have another car.
• 5:54
Speaker 3: Exactly you could get the cheap insurance on your Corvette Mm-hmm.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: If I'd have known that I had an extra $7,000 flying around.
• 6:02
Speaker 1: Wait for that income tax refund and I'm there, All right.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: Next to it is another Cadillac this is for you, Jeff, because this is your style Brits A 1976 Cadillac Eldorado.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: It looks like it's a convertible.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: I may be wrong, but I really can't tell it looks like a ragtop.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: Okay, so a 76 Cadillac Eldorado probably dark blue, I would guess.
• 6:28
Speaker 1: What do you think something like that would sell for Wire wheel covers?
• 6:33
Speaker 1: It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
• 6:36
Speaker 1: It does look nice.
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: $25,000.
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: Really.
• 6:40
Speaker 2: Mm-hmm, would you pay $25,000 for it?
• 6:44
  Speaker 3: That's a beautiful car.
• 6:44
Speaker 3: It is, but I think more like $18,000.
• 6:46
Speaker 3: And I'm kind of fedging, I was really thinking $15,000.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Well, you were close because it's $13,650.
• 6:53
Speaker 1: That would be a really cool weekend car.
• 6:54
Speaker 3: I bumped it three for Jeff, for Jeff's benefit.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: That would be a great car to take on the Hot Rod Tour.
• 7:00
Speaker 2: All of these, yeah, plush seats, oh All of these, yeah, yeah, plush seats, oh the seats where you sit in them and they just kind of envelop your body.
• 7:10
Speaker 1: Now the next one.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: Oh God, jeff, look at that beauty, will you?
• 7:14
Speaker 1: It only weighs 10,000 pounds.
• 7:18
  Speaker 2: It's a Buick.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, it's a four-holer Buick Roadmaster station wagon with just the hint of some wood trim around the windows.
• 7:28
Speaker 1: Man, it's a mile and a half long, got some looks like factory stock wide whites on it, some nice looking chrome hubcaps.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: I got some wood trim.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: Looking at that, yeah, this car.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: Ooh, I don't believe I've ever actually seen one like this.
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: $42,000.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: $42,000.
• 7:50
  Speaker 3: Mars.
• 7:50
Speaker 3: I'm kind of with Jeff on that, but really probably just for, because I'm weirdly weirded out, I'm going to say $60,000.
• 8:00
  Speaker 2: $63,000.
• 8:01
Speaker 2: Good for you, Michael $63,000.
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: That, michael, $63,000.
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 8:08
Speaker 3: That has to be a museum piece or something.
• 8:10
  Speaker 3: Golly, I got 42.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: Can you see that coming down the street?
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: Oh my.
• 8:16
Speaker 2: God, not very often.
• 8:17
Speaker 2: You wouldn't drive that thing every day.
• 8:18
Speaker 2: That would be crazy.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: No, of course not, because you know it's probably got a.
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: Let's see a 49.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: It's probably got a two-speed automatic transmission, no overdrive.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: It may do 50 if you're on a lucky day.
• 8:29
Speaker 2: But anyway, that's a beautiful car down here, Nice car, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: Now here's one for Mars.
• 8:33
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I had one A night.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: No, oh, I'm sorry that's not for Mars.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: Your next one, this one here, is a 1969 Dune Buggy.
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: Now we like to think that it's a Myers-Manks, but it's not a Myers-Manks.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: This is a rip-off of the Myers-Manks but it's cool looking.
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: So it's a 1969 Volkswagen Dune Buggy.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: But it's got the Dune Buggy.
• 9:00
Speaker 1: Look to it, the big bug eyes in the front.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: And if it's a real, true dune buggy then it would be made on a modified Volkswagen bug chassis with a Volkswagen bug motor in it.
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: You go first.
• 9:13
Speaker 3: Well, I'm trying to.
• 9:13
Speaker 3: There's so many things that can affect it.
• 9:15
Speaker 3: You know the engine, you know, has it got the dual carbs?
• 9:17
Speaker 3: It doesn't have the stinger exhaust on it.
• 9:19
Speaker 3: But I'm going to say, just because they're kind of hot right now, because the Meyer Manx, I'm going to say $22,000.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Ooh, I think Jeff is going.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: What are you thinking?
• 9:31
Speaker 1: Are you thinking lower?
• 9:32
  Speaker 2: I'm thinking lower.
• 9:33
  Speaker 2: I'm thinking probably $12,000.
• 9:36
  Speaker 2: $8,000.
• 9:37
  Speaker 3: Oh poof $8,000.
• 9:39
Speaker 3: You can see that's an upgrade.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: You can see on the body side panels it's got the metal flake look on it.
• 9:45
Speaker 2: It's got a little mural on it.
• 9:47
Speaker 3: Mine didn't have anything, it was just the black outer body there.
• 9:50
  Speaker 3: It's like a Corvette Cove.
• 9:53
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: Next Mars.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: This is for you, ta-da.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: This is probably one of the.
• 10:02
  Speaker 3: Wait, this is a four-door.
• 10:03
  Speaker 1: Yes, this is a four-door.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: Yes, this is a four-door sedan, probably one of the dullest cars I have ever seen in my entire life.
• 10:08
Speaker 2: Dude, I like that car?
• 10:09
Speaker 1: I know you would Both of you would.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: I remember in high school my buddy Ross Putnam.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: He had a Buick Skylark that looked almost identical to that.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: Do you remember that ugly thing from the 1960s, the Buick Skylark?
• 10:27
Speaker 1: Yep, the original Buick Skylark looked like that Ford Falcon.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: Now understand that the Ford Falcon.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: There are many, many parts and pieces of the Ford Falcon that wound up as the origination of the Ford Mustang, the 64 1⁄2 Ford Mustang, but this is not anywhere close to that.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: This looks like a pristine.
• 10:49
Speaker 2: oh no, oh, contrary to me.
• 10:51
Speaker 2: Look at the hood, look at the fender in the bumper, by the headlight.
• 10:54
Speaker 2: You got a back door that's not fitting very properly.
• 10:57
Speaker 2: I would say pristine is out of the question, freshly washed.
• 11:02
Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, and the tires have been armor-hauled.
• 11:05
Speaker 2: Yes, they have been armor-hauled.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: I like the way you kind of blew that up there.
• 11:12
  Speaker 3: I saw that he's cheating.
• 11:14
Speaker 1: I know he kind of nitpicked it, didn't he?
• 11:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's okay.
• 11:17
Speaker 2: So how much do you think something like that $6,000.
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: $6,000.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: Now, this has probably got the straight six in it.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: And a three on the tree.
• 11:23
Speaker 3: Now I'm going to go, eight I'm going to go eight.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: Mars, you've missed an opportunity of a lifetime man.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: You could have had this car for $4,150.
• 11:35
Speaker 3: See there, that's even better than the Caddy.
• 11:38
Speaker 3: That would solve your problem with your Corvette.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: I could take it, but I'm not buying that car.
• 11:41
Speaker 3: But I will tell you.
• 11:42
Speaker 3: There was a guy over in Vidor that used to come over to the Needle and make the drag.
• 11:45
Speaker 3: He had one of these two-door straight front axle under it.
• 11:49
Speaker 3: The back was jacked up to make it level so the tires could stick out from under.
• 11:53
Speaker 3: The body had a V8 in it.
• 11:55
Speaker 3: He never would open the hood to let anybody see what it was, but he'd come over.
• 12:01
Speaker 1: He'd look cool going down the drag.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: Well, good for him.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: I'm going over to Neiderville.
• 12:09
Speaker 3: Neiderville Avenue, the place to be People used to come from Houston to make the drag over there.
• 12:13
Speaker 3: Dude, what are you talking about, neiderville, yeah?
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: Well, guess what?
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: It wasn't us.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: We didn't come over there.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: Now, ladies and gentlemen, our last.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: There's a dent, right there it is.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: There is a bargain, any way you look at it A 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle.
• 12:37
Speaker 2: There's nothing super about that Straight bumper, yeah, yeah.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: No, it's a well straight meaning.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: They're not dented 72 Volkswagen Super Beetle.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: I'll give you a hint when it was new it didn't cost this much.
• 12:57
Speaker 2: Is that meaning it's overvalued?
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Somebody paid too much money for the damn thing.
• 13:03
Speaker 3: I can tell you that $8,000.
• 13:06
  Speaker 3: $14,000.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: Well, split the difference $10,400.
• 13:12
  Speaker 2: $10,000.
• 13:13
Speaker 2: For that, actually my eight I was thinking $10,400.
• 13:14
Speaker 2: Ten grand for that, actually my eight I was thinking was kind of high.
• 13:17
Speaker 2: It was more like six is what I was thinking.
• 13:18
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
• 13:20
Speaker 1: Okay, well, good luck to them.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: It'll probably run long after we're dead, but in the meantime somebody pulled out $10,000 and bought that car.
• 13:36
Speaker 2: God, that's sinful yeah.
• 13:39
Speaker 1: Well, hey, worst things.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: You could buy, like I did, a Chevrolet Corvair and spend a fortune fixing it up.
• 13:51
Speaker 3: Well, that was kind of a unique, cool-looking car.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't when I bought it.
• 13:54
Speaker 1: No, the engine ran, that was about.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: It Needed a complete new interior and, of course, as you know, I painted it, or had it painted, by my buddy, mark Rancourt, over at Sweet Rides.
• 14:06
Speaker 1: We haven't talked to Mark in a while.
• 14:08
Speaker 1: Is he out of business or?
• 14:08
  Speaker 3: something?
• 14:09
  Speaker 3: No, no.
• 14:09
Speaker 3: While Is he out of business or something?
• 14:12
Speaker 3: No, no, he's pretty busy, but he's not in the collision business anymore.
• 14:14
Speaker 3: He's working on the custom.
• 14:15
Speaker 3: He's actually spending some time with his family.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: He sold that collision business though when I did the Corvair with him, when I pulled that Corvair in there for him to look at the first time he goes.
• 14:29
Speaker 1: Oh dear God Well you said that you'd take a look at it and I and I opened it up, you know, showed him the all inside, inside where the trunk is, which is a frunk right, uh, and the engine compartment.
• 14:45
Speaker 1: There was no rust.
• 14:46
Speaker 1: It sat in the field.
• 14:48
Speaker 1: But here at Houston it was a Houston tech Bought it Snap up a nap Chevrolet downtown.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: So in 1966, it was brand new.
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: It ran.
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: That's all I can say.
• 15:02
Speaker 3: I talked to him back during the holidays.
• 15:03
Speaker 3: He had a couple of cars in Autorama that he'd done and they picked up a couple of awards over there.
• 15:08
  Speaker 2: Good for him.
• 15:09
Speaker 1: Good, good, how the folks at Autorama, by the way.
• 15:14
  Speaker 3: I guess they're alive.
• 15:15
  Speaker 3: Ask me Monday.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: Okay, I'll ask you.
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Monday we need to take a break and I think the timing is perfect, don't you?
• 15:24
Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, and we'll make it on time.

• 18:27
  Speaker 2: Here we go.
• 18:28

• 18:46
Speaker 2: But here's the icing on the cake.
• 18:50
Speaker 2: Gm's performance team dedicated to the Corvette has lost three high-profile members in the past 12 months.
• 18:55
  Speaker 2: What's going on?
• 18:57
  Speaker 2: They say?
• 18:57
Speaker 2: Kirk benyon, corvette's exterior design manager, has left general motors, marking the third high profile departure of gm's performance team in the past year.
• 19:07
Speaker 2: His exit follows those of corvette chief engineer uh taj jukter yep and corvette project manager harlan charles, raising questions about what's going on with GM's marquee sports car program.
• 19:21
Speaker 2: Jacques Ter's retirement had been expected, but the circumstances surrounding Charles and Benyon's departure remain unclear.
• 19:31
Speaker 2: Charles has openly referred to his exit as a forced retirement, while it's reported that Benyon was fired.
• 19:38
Speaker 2: With three major figures now gone, the shakeup raises speculation about GM's future performance car plans.
• 19:45
Speaker 2: While GM insists Corvette will remain within Chevrolet, it's possible these moves signal a consolidation of its sports car programs.
• 19:53
Speaker 2: Gm's only remaining sports cars are the Corvette and the Cadillac V-Series.
• 19:59
  Speaker 2: Love you car.
• 19:59
Speaker 2: Those are the Corvette and the Cadillac V-Series.
• 20:00
  Speaker 2: Love you car.
• 20:01
Speaker 2: Those are the only models.
• 20:02
Speaker 2: Gm has already retired the Camaro and rumors persist that it could return as an EV or in a dramatically different form.
• 20:10
Speaker 2: So there you go.
• 20:11
  Speaker 2: That's the minute.
• 20:12
Speaker 1: You want my guess, mm-hmm, that they are going to go the route that Porsche did and they are going to take the Corvette and they're going to turn that into there's going to be a Corvette SUV, there's going to be a Corvette sedan.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: I envision this Really, yeah.
• 20:35
Speaker 2: That's just my own thing.
• 20:37
Speaker 1: I'm not the only one.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: I think that there's other people that kind of think the same way, and I think that these guys are going.
• 20:42
Speaker 1: No, you can't do that and they're going.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: Oh, yes, we can See you.
• 20:46
Speaker 3: You know what the difference is between fired and retired.
• 20:49
  Speaker 1: Tell me.
• 20:50
Speaker 3: One has tenure, the other one don't.
• 20:54
Speaker 2: That's it they retire.
• 20:55
Speaker 2: You've got the tenure, yeah, so yeah.
• 20:57
Speaker 3: We're not going to fire you, we're going to let you retire, and the other one you can't retire, so we're going to fire you.
• 21:03
Speaker 3: Been there, done that.
• 21:07
Speaker 1: Yes, you do know about that.
• 21:08
Speaker 1: I think it was your buddies at AT&T.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy, we went through that bunches.
• 21:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's interesting To me.
• 21:21
Speaker 3: The last Corvette that I like is the c5.
• 21:22
Speaker 3: After that, I to me they're not corvettes.
• 21:23
  Speaker 3: When I look at them I don't think corvette oh, I do, I don't, I do seven.
• 21:26
  Speaker 1: I think that you're you're.
• 21:27
Speaker 1: You're thinking back to the hideaway headlights and that sort of stuff.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: But remember, the corvette wasn't always hideaway headlights.
• 21:33
Speaker 3: Now our it's a 62 is what I'd love to have.
• 21:36
Speaker 3: I can't afford one, but I'd love to have one.
• 21:38
Speaker 3: I can't afford one, but I'd love to have one.
• 21:38
  Speaker 1: No, you can't.
• 21:39
Speaker 1: You'd be surprised you could afford one.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: You could afford one.
• 21:41
Speaker 3: Not the way I want it.
• 21:42
Speaker 3: I want the LS motor, I want the Well, that's a restaurant model.
• 21:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I want Something I can drive every day.
• 21:50
Speaker 2: Well then you're, talking about big bucks.
• 21:51
Speaker 1: That's what he's saying, just saying.
• 21:56
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 21:56
Speaker 1: Well, that ain't going to happen as long as you got Becky around.
• 22:00
  Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
• 22:01
Speaker 3: I got to have a place to go.
• 22:02
  Speaker 3: That's my doghouse.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: Is that your doghouse?
• 22:06
  Speaker 3: That's my doghouse.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: I can see that it's a man cave on the water.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Time now for this hour's car review.
• 22:10
Speaker 1: Had a chance to drive the 2025 Buick Invista.
• 22:13
Speaker 1: Final assembly location is drum roll, please.
• 22:24
Speaker 1: What do you think?
• 22:25
Speaker 1: China, nope, korea, oh really, yeah, it's built, made in korea.
• 22:26
Speaker 1: Available trim levels the preferred, the sport touring and the avenir.
• 22:30
Speaker 1: I had the sport touring, which is the middle of the line.
• 22:32
Speaker 1: Would they consider a small station wagon?
• 22:35
Speaker 1: We would consider it a small suv, but whatever, it's only in a name Five-passenger vehicle, including the driver.
• 22:43
  Speaker 1: It's all new for 2024.
• 22:45
Speaker 1: This is the 25 model that we're reviewing.
• 22:48
Speaker 1: Really no changes between the 24 and 25.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: Fastback roof design it looks really cool, but the one thing that you may have to put in your mind, especially if you're six feet tall, is that you might have to bump your head on the roof to get in the back seat.
• 23:06
Speaker 1: There is that, but it looks cool.
• 23:07
Speaker 1: If you've got a bunch of kids and stuff, that's perfect.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: I like the way it looks.
• 23:13
Speaker 1: I love that fastback design myself.
• 23:14
Speaker 1: Long hood, short deck popular with sports cars, as you well know.
• 23:18
Speaker 1: Concentric wheel arches look really good in that Because, you know, so many manufacturers like to shrink down the rear arch of the wheel no, that makes it look ugly.
• 23:31
Speaker 1: High-mounted, slitty headlights and sharp grille look racy.
• 23:35
Speaker 1: Cargo hatch is glass almost.
• 23:40
  Speaker 1: That's almost horizontal.
• 23:42
Speaker 1: What I liked about it the overall look gets high marks in my estimation.
• 23:46
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 23:48
Speaker 1: Nothing, I think it looks great.
• 23:49
Speaker 1: Interior highlights we love the one large screen across the dash.
• 23:55
Speaker 1: It is really it's the both the infotainment and the instrument cluster combined into one.
• 24:01
Speaker 1: It really works well.
• 24:03
Speaker 1: Cloth or leather seating material is awesome.
• 24:06
Speaker 1: We love the well-laid-out controls.
• 24:09
Speaker 1: No factory navigation, but it does have Android and Apple CarPlay.
• 24:17
Speaker 1: That is standard in all of them and I think that that's the way to go, because you can customize your own stuff on your phone.
• 24:23
Speaker 1: You plug it in and boom, there it all is.
• 24:25
Speaker 1: Cargo room is small, but the vehicle is small.
• 24:29
  Speaker 1: What I liked?
• 24:29
Speaker 1: The rear seat air vents, which you don't find on a small SUV, but this one had it.
• 24:34
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 24:36
Speaker 1: Headroom in the rear seat may be small.
• 24:37
Speaker 1: As I said, it could be an issue with taller backseat passengers.
• 24:42
Speaker 1: So if you take large, if you take Grandpa, who's six feet tall, he'll bump his head a little bit, but that's okay, he probably needs it.
• 24:50
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 24:50
Speaker 1: Got a plate in it 1.2 liter, four-cylinder, turbo, 137 horsepower.
• 24:59
  Speaker 1: 1.2 liter, 162 pound-feet of torque.
• 25:05
  Speaker 1: And I said it was a four-cylinder.
• 25:07
  Speaker 1: No, it's a three-cylinder, six-speed automatic transmission.
• 25:10
Speaker 1: Tow rating no, there is no, because you ain't going to take anything to tow back behind it, yeah.
• 25:19
Speaker 1: Miles per gallon, 28 city, 32 highway, for a combined of 30.
• 25:23
  Speaker 1: I got 28 over 399.2 miles.
• 25:27
  Speaker 1: What I liked.
• 25:28
Speaker 1: You know the power.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: Even though it's only 137 horsepower, it matches nicely with the actual vehicle, the transmission and the miles per gallon.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: So I think that it's a good compromise.
• 25:40
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 25:41
Speaker 1: Offer an optional motor with a little bit more horsepower.
• 25:44
Speaker 1: That would be my only suggestion to them.
• 25:46
Speaker 1: But when you do that, then it's going to raise the cost of it, because now you've got to manufacture parts in pieces that are going to be able to accept both the three-cylinder and probably a four-cylinder.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: Whatever Ride and handling Sportier ride than most other Buicks.
• 26:03
Speaker 1: Some people may consider it a little stiff.
• 26:06
  Speaker 1: I don't.
• 26:07
  Speaker 1: It's a small vehicle.
• 26:08
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 26:09
  Speaker 1: Nada.
• 26:11
Speaker 1: Here's the fun part of this vehicle.
• 26:12
Speaker 1: The base trim price is $24,700.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: The price is tested as $27,780.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: The base model price $22,780.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: The base model price $22,900.
• 26:24
  Speaker 1: That's sweet.
• 26:24
Speaker 1: They're going to sell a bajillion of these things, I think Competitors.
• 26:29
Speaker 1: The Chevy Trax is related to the Invista it is.
• 26:32
Speaker 1: It sells for $20,400.
• 26:35
Speaker 1: So if you want a cheaper model, check the Chevy Trax.
• 26:38
Speaker 1: Then it goes above and beyond when you talk to the Mazda CX-30 for $24,995.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: Or the VW Taos starts at $26,420.
• 26:52
Speaker 1: So I think that this is a real bargain.
• 26:54
Speaker 1: I think that it's a sleeper, as we used to call it back in the day, because it offers a lot for a little bit of money.
• 27:01
Speaker 1: I think that you really should check it out if you're in the market for that kind of vehicle.
• 27:04
Speaker 2: One thing you mentioned about the nav.
• 27:05
Speaker 2: You can get nav.
• 27:06
Speaker 1: It's a pay-to-play with the nav, Not according to what I read, and not this vehicle.
• 27:12
Speaker 1: Okay, I have it in mind.
• 27:13
Speaker 1: I can pay for it.
• 27:14
Speaker 2: But you have a vehicle that's larger, larger than this.
• 27:16
Speaker 2: Right, I've got the Step Up, I've got the Envision and it's the Preferred as well.
• 27:18
  Speaker 2: That's correct.
• 27:19
Speaker 2: This one doesn't offer from the factory, so you pick and choose the Buick that you want, and you can get a shirt like mine as well.
• 27:27
  Speaker 2: This is Buick.
• 27:27
Speaker 2: Right, there Did you buy that?
• 27:29
Speaker 1: Oh, that's the new Buick logo.
• 27:30
  Speaker 1: Yeah, the new.
• 27:31
  Speaker 3: Buick logo.
• 27:31
Speaker 1: You selling those over there?
• 27:32
Speaker 2: No, I went through a lot to get this, did you?
• 27:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll tell you the story.
• 27:37
  Speaker 2: It's like a three-hour show.
• 27:39
Speaker 2: Just to tell you the story.
• 27:39
