- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us on air.
- 0:06Speaker 3: With a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Our friends one or two point seven kids of him.
- 0:11Speaker 2: However you're getting whatever we're saying.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I like it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if it's on the FM radio or
- 0:17Speaker 2: a smart device or through your headphones.
- 0:20Speaker 3: All good. By the way, I was watching, oh Cicity, Yes,
- 0:24Speaker 3: good morning, good morning.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I was watching that show that we're still watching called Runaway,
- 0:29Speaker 2: which is on Netflix, and that private detective woman she
- 0:34Speaker 2: left one of her AirPods in a room to eavesdrop
- 0:37Speaker 2: on a guy to get information, which she walked out. Okay,
- 0:40Speaker 2: so let me just tell you this and started to
- 0:42Speaker 2: jump into it. But it's been many hours since we've
- 0:45Speaker 2: had a chance to talk. Yeah, so there's a show
- 0:47Speaker 2: we're watching it. It's on Netflix, Runaway.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But that guy that writes all those novels, those are good, yeah, Corbin.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Harlin, Harlan Corbin, that guy, Yeah, he's good for me.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Once was that another one? Mark?
- 1:04Speaker 2: I think that one I liked a lot too. That
- 1:06Speaker 2: he wrote the book and then they did the movie.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Is that what it was called?
- 1:11Speaker 3: Checking? But I think that's right. I think I watched
- 1:13Speaker 3: that one too. Yeah, I think that does ring a bell?
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yea correct.
- 1:18Speaker 2: So anyway, the woman, one of the characters, she leaves
- 1:21Speaker 2: one of her AirPods in this guy's office. She walks out,
- 1:24Speaker 2: she eavesdrops to get information. Yeah, so I went to
- 1:27Speaker 2: chatch ept right away. I'm like, what's up with the
- 1:29Speaker 2: air pods in the spyware. You gotta be real, like
- 1:35Speaker 2: real close exactly because.
- 1:36Speaker 5: It's a bluetooth, so it has to still be connected
- 1:38Speaker 5: to your phone and if you walked away far enough,
- 1:41Speaker 5: it would disconnect.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I thought the same thing too, but I'm like, it's
- 1:43Speaker 3: a show. She left it in a candy jar like
- 1:47Speaker 3: I was. That was very clever.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But I went right to chat on that to see
- 1:53Speaker 2: and that's you're looking around my.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Place like air pods on her own guys? Are you guys?
- 1:59Speaker 2: That's why I don't sisteing Donie over too much. Leave
- 2:01Speaker 2: those AirPods lying around.
- 2:02Speaker 5: By the way, I finished it last night. You'll get
- 2:06Speaker 5: there and it is what you think happens.
- 2:09Speaker 3: You're it's so much more twisted than that.
- 2:12Speaker 2: That's the beauty of Harlan corbyin the author The twists
- 2:19Speaker 2: are really good in his books, and when they adapt
- 2:23Speaker 2: them to series, but I do it. I got subtitles
- 2:26Speaker 2: because the lead guy's Irish and sometimes I need the
- 2:30Speaker 2: subtitles on his character.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I watch everything with subtitles. Yeah, I am. I'm into
- 2:35Speaker 3: that as well. Morning, Sophia, how are you?
- 2:37Speaker 6: I'm good, Good morning, how are you. I'm still a
- 2:39Speaker 6: little tired, but I'm.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Doing a coffee intern Sofia. I try not to.
- 2:44Speaker 6: I'm trying not to get into like the caffeine kick,
- 2:47Speaker 6: but I love you're.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Speaking to the wrong.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I'm so happy we get to talk to the youth
- 2:55Speaker 2: of America before you're out in the wild. That is
- 2:58Speaker 2: a waste of time time to try to use your
- 3:02Speaker 2: energy to fight caffeine. There's so many other things you're
- 3:06Speaker 2: gonna need to fight in life. Caffeine is not one
- 3:09Speaker 2: of them. Why are you even worried about caffeine?
- 3:12Speaker 6: I don't know, because I don't want like the caffeine
- 3:14Speaker 6: crash in the middle of the day, because I feel
- 3:15Speaker 6: like I still have so much to do that I
- 3:17Speaker 6: don't want to be like more tired on top of it.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't need it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Every day you do, and you're speculating and syny do
- 3:24Speaker 2: I crash?
- 3:26Speaker 3: I don't know what you do at two pm? Do you? Well?
- 3:29Speaker 3: You see me for many hours. I don't drink coffee.
- 3:31Speaker 5: You don't show generally, I don't crash in the morning
- 3:34Speaker 5: when I'm here with you, But then I.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Don't know what you do.
- 3:36Speaker 2: You man't work at my other jobs in the afternoon.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I'm not crashing.
- 3:40Speaker 3: No, But do you have another cup coffee? I don't know.
- 3:42Speaker 2: No, I don't. But Sophia, there's wisdom here. Why don't
- 3:45Speaker 2: you just ask for wisdom?
- 3:46Speaker 7: Now?
- 3:47Speaker 3: Do you ask for life experience? Drink coffee if she
- 3:49Speaker 3: doesn't like it, she has to drink coffee if she's
- 3:52Speaker 3: gonna work here. No, No, that's not true.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I don't drink coffee every day i'm today, But just
- 3:57Speaker 5: like's not like.
- 3:58Speaker 3: A usual for me? How about like an energy? D're no,
- 4:00Speaker 3: that's worse.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't think that's so good. I just look, this
- 4:04Speaker 2: is my own thing. It's not a rule. But I
- 4:06Speaker 2: don't trust people as much that don't drink coffee and
- 4:10Speaker 2: that don't blink.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So that's that's a weird thing. Actually, actually it's not.
- 4:21Speaker 2: If you it's not take that and study.
- 4:24Speaker 5: You're saying you don't trust me because I don't drink
- 4:26Speaker 5: coffee every day.
- 4:27Speaker 3: No, you blink, So I'm good with you.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Okay, But what about Tanya. Tanya doesn't blink, she drinks coffee.
- 4:32Speaker 3: She drinks coffee. So we have to have one or
- 4:33Speaker 3: the other.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean you can't. You can't do if
- 4:36Speaker 2: you don't do both. I concern myself, okay. So anyway,
- 4:42Speaker 2: there's a lot of things. But Sophia, all you got
- 4:44Speaker 2: to do just ask, Just ask the questions instead of
- 4:48Speaker 2: fighting caffeine on your own, ask if it's worth.
- 4:50Speaker 6: It, Sophia, I became a coffee drinker because of Ryan
- 4:53Speaker 6: in the Morning Show. So oh gosh, okay, I can.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I'll tell you what I did. Become a coffee grinder
- 5:01Speaker 3: because of Ryan. We got it. We got a machine
- 5:04Speaker 3: that grind, grinds the bees. See the impact Mark I'm
- 5:08Speaker 3: having on this team.
- 5:09Speaker 5: But when I do drink it, I want it to
- 5:11Speaker 5: be fresh and delicious.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Exactly makes me like you so much more. And I
- 5:17Speaker 2: didn't think it was possible.
- 5:18Speaker 3: My god, the New Year, I.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Know Bieber on one or two point seven, Chris here,
- 5:27Speaker 2: Tanya is out sisty Sophia in the studio and this
- 5:33Speaker 2: whole back to the New year resolution thing. Yeah, now
- 5:38Speaker 2: that we're the sixth day in uh, how are you
- 5:42Speaker 2: doing on that? Mean?
- 5:45Speaker 3: Does it is this something we care about so much?
- 5:48Speaker 5: I personally don't because I feel like it adds all
- 5:51Speaker 5: this extra pressure that like we don't need in our lives.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Just like be good, like I don't know, try to
- 5:55Speaker 5: be the best version of yourself type of vibe.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I didn't make my bed yesterday, so I didn't make much.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So when I went to bed last night, my bed
- 6:03Speaker 2: wasn't made.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, did you ever remake it?
- 6:08Speaker 5: Like when like before I go to bed, Yeah, like
- 6:10Speaker 5: I did that last night my bed also was not made,
- 6:12Speaker 5: and then I just I couldn't get in it.
- 6:13Speaker 3: So I remade it, and then I got in it. No, no, no, no,
- 6:17Speaker 3: I just get in it.
- 6:18Speaker 2: And then I line up the two top sheets so
- 6:21Speaker 2: that there's a straight line, so when I roll around,
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'm equally rolling.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Yeah, but it needs to be remade, especially on Michael's side,
- 6:28Speaker 5: like pushes the sheets all the way down to the
- 6:30Speaker 5: bottom and then it's like diagonal.
- 6:32Speaker 3: You have population in yours. I don't. I just I
- 6:35Speaker 3: gotta deal with my own sheets, so it's not it's
- 6:38Speaker 3: like a little corner.
- 6:40Speaker 2: But to my my resolution point, my resolution was like
- 6:43Speaker 2: to like choose, make a choice on how to react
- 6:47Speaker 2: to stuff. Don't just react, like take a second and
- 6:49Speaker 2: decide how you're gonna want to react.
- 6:51Speaker 3: So, yeah, that's a good one.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I got home and it was all messy, and I'm
- 6:55Speaker 2: not a messy I don't love messy ness. And I
- 6:58Speaker 2: let it not bother me. It was a disaster, I'd
- 7:01Speaker 2: let it not affect me. I chose, yeah, to not
- 7:04Speaker 2: make it a big deal. I chose to make it fine,
- 7:07Speaker 2: and I felt great good, I felt great. I don't
- 7:12Speaker 2: know how long this is gonna last, but I'm with
- 7:14Speaker 2: you on the pressure of this. The whole New Year's
- 7:17Speaker 2: resolution thing. The most popular ones are saving money and
- 7:22Speaker 2: getting more exercise and eating It's the typical stuff that
- 7:25Speaker 2: every year, eating healthier, boosting your mental health. So you know,
- 7:32Speaker 2: if you're into yours and you're sticking to it, that's great.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But also if you don't put pressure on yourself, I
- 7:37Speaker 2: think that's great too, Sophia, are you doing any resolutions?
- 7:41Speaker 6: I am so. I'm trying to actually not put any
- 7:43Speaker 6: heat on my hair because my hair is bleached dye damage,
- 7:47Speaker 6: split ends this.
- 7:49Speaker 3: That it's naturally curly. Naturally curly. So I'm here today
- 7:52Speaker 3: very curly, very poofy. Any heat on that just put
- 7:55Speaker 3: a little moose and caught a day.
- 7:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 2: If someone explained to me what we're talking about, what
- 8:01Speaker 2: do you mean heat on your hair?
- 8:03Speaker 5: I hear just like I straightened my hair this morning
- 8:06Speaker 5: with a hair or straightener.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Heat people straight. I prefer it straight. Don't you want feedback?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Sure?
- 8:16Speaker 5: I prefer been preferring it straight too. I curled it
- 8:19Speaker 5: the other day and I just didn't like it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's too much work. But I prefer it straight. And so, Sophia,
- 8:24Speaker 2: why is the heat a bad idea? Because it's gonna
- 8:26Speaker 2: ruin your hair in the long term, like caffeine.
- 8:28Speaker 6: And I really want to do like long. I want
- 8:30Speaker 6: to have long, healthy hair. And my hair like is
- 8:33Speaker 6: like hay now at the ends, and I feel like
- 8:35Speaker 6: I have so much trouble cutting my hair. So this
- 8:39Speaker 6: is the only thing I got left?
- 8:41Speaker 3: Does color? And this is it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I just love being around y'all because I get to learn.
- 8:47Speaker 2: In twenty twenty six, I'm gonna learn this. Does color?
- 8:50Speaker 2: When you put color in your hair? Does that damage
- 8:53Speaker 2: your hair.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, and bleach even more.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Yeah, and I'm like best friends with Fox die and.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Oh no, that's the worst, the worst that I get it.
- 9:05Speaker 3: That's just like what you do in college.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Because it's expensive to go get your hair done at
- 9:09Speaker 5: the salon, So going to.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Does it take? It takes time? That's the thing is
- 9:12Speaker 2: time consuming, is it?
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you wanted to like do an interview or something.
- 9:17Speaker 5: I was like, sorry, I'm gonna be at the salon
- 9:19Speaker 5: for four hours.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Why can't you just come in with the foils on
- 9:25Speaker 2: get things done efficiently?
- 9:27Speaker 3: I think I'm unavailable.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Thomas Chris Brown, It's called Mutt, It's Kiss FM. Ryan
- 9:32Speaker 2: Seacrest with you, Thanks for tuning in, thanks for streaming
- 9:35Speaker 2: on the iHeart Radio app. All right, so let's just
- 9:39Speaker 2: hone in on the most important thing here. Disneyland's doing
- 9:43Speaker 2: some new things and we will have your tickets. We
- 9:45Speaker 2: love giving away the tickets to Disneyland, so twenty twenty
- 9:47Speaker 2: six we'll have those.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 2: But what's the most significant thing that's coming to Disneyland, Cynty.
- 9:53Speaker 3: There's a lot of cool stuff for this year.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Sweethearts Night is something that caught my eye. It's coming
- 9:59Speaker 5: back for Valentine starting January twenty second, which is kind
- 10:02Speaker 5: of funny to think that, Like you start celebrating Valentine's
- 10:05Speaker 5: Day that early, But it feels like a really cute
- 10:07Speaker 5: excuse to go on a date night to Disneyland without
- 10:10Speaker 5: the kids, and it's after hours, it's Valentine's themed. It's
- 10:15Speaker 5: really really fun character meet and greets, all that stuff.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Obviously they'll have a unique food. So Sweetheart's Night is
- 10:20Speaker 5: something that stood out.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But also lines would be short. I think that's cute.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Yeah, and Star Wars Night is also back. They've done
- 10:27Speaker 5: this before. It'll be back in April and May, which
- 10:30Speaker 5: always feels chaotic, but in the best way.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I think that that'll be a lot of fun.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Big news for families if your parent, Blue and Bingo
- 10:40Speaker 5: are officially coming to Disneyland. If you don't know about Bluie,
- 10:45Speaker 5: I know you were, like blue is like what Mickey
- 10:48Speaker 5: Mouse it was to us when we.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Were kids, Like hold on, let me understand that.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I know I've heard of Blueie, yes, but I've not
- 10:57Speaker 2: spent time with a blue I don't have kids. My
- 11:00Speaker 2: niece didn't really do Bluey. Maybe no, I need to
- 11:04Speaker 2: do Blue cartoon.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I guarantee you Flora has watched. Is it a streaming thing? Yeah? Okay,
- 11:09Speaker 3: is there British? Is it a British accent thing? Australian? Australian? Okay,
- 11:14Speaker 3: she's told me about this. You definitely know Blue. No,
- 11:18Speaker 3: I don't.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Definitely she's talked about it, mom, don't blay all right,
- 11:25Speaker 2: So anyway, how will this be to be?
- 11:28Speaker 4: No?
- 11:28Speaker 5: It is well that too, but it's going to be
- 11:30Speaker 5: an interactive show in fantasy Land. It is starting March
- 11:33Speaker 5: twenty second and it's I feel like that is really
- 11:36Speaker 5: going to carry the year.
- 11:37Speaker 3: It's going to be huge. Okay, boogie playing, I'm trying
- 11:42Speaker 3: to stop it. My mouse doesn't work. Ups. I tried
- 11:45Speaker 3: to stop that one second in because I'm trying to
- 11:48Speaker 3: go it. My mouse does never battery.
- 11:50Speaker 5: The Oogie Boogie Bash is back as well, and it's
- 11:54Speaker 5: just you know, I love it. Everything Disney is always
- 11:57Speaker 5: a win for us here in so Cal.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Okay, So I know of Blue, but I have not
- 12:03Speaker 2: studied a lot of Blue. I tell you what, I
- 12:05Speaker 2: did learn a lot over the holidays because I did
- 12:07Speaker 2: spend some time with my seven year old niece, And
- 12:10Speaker 2: what a difference six to seven is yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Oh no, no one.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Ever again please, no, no, no, no, no ornament this
- 12:26Speaker 2: year like this year. No oh, I cringe, no no no,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I don't want to hear about it. No.
- 12:33Speaker 3: But is she like is she going like bro like?
- 12:35Speaker 3: Is she doing all that? Stop? Stop, I'm gonna cry.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Don't make me laugh. I have the flu I'll cough.
- 12:44Speaker 3: You said it. No, I didn't say that. What a
- 12:49Speaker 3: difference it is from six to seven?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but then you have to do that awful thing,
- 12:54Speaker 2: that awful things.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I can't focus now, I have a rash from it.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Take a note over our world.
- 13:01Speaker 2: So no, but I would realize that she, like I
- 13:04Speaker 2: now can like have conversations. I was, I don't have
- 13:09Speaker 2: a babysit. I don't know how to babysit. But now
- 13:11Speaker 2: I think I do. I can babysit seven, I can
- 13:14Speaker 2: babysit eight. And I think from then on there on
- 13:17Speaker 2: their own. But I was really not really trusted. No,
- 13:20Speaker 2: I was not really trusted with my niece by myself.
- 13:22Speaker 5: I realized, Oh, I understand that, Yes, I can see that.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, my sister.
- 13:28Speaker 2: My family thinks that I don't have instincts when it
- 13:32Speaker 2: comes to like stuff like that, and they're right. Yea,
- 13:37Speaker 2: then they're right, Like I want to watch Slow Horses
- 13:40Speaker 2: with her and my mom. Mom's like, probably not, you
- 13:43Speaker 2: can't watch it. Maybe a bit, come on, she doesn't
- 13:45Speaker 2: understand what anyway, Oh, I can't believe you.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Cringed so much with that everywhere.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It's not going to be here on this show ever. Again,
- 13:58Speaker 2: that's a promise to you. So mad about it because
- 14:01Speaker 2: it's so annoying. So it was obviously said to you,
- 14:04Speaker 2: like a lot of them. Everybody does it and they
- 14:07Speaker 2: think they're cool and new and they're not. It's cool
- 14:10Speaker 2: and new, yeah, well clearly definitely, but it's like, I know,
- 14:15Speaker 2: I get it, I heard it. Please don't So we're
- 14:20Speaker 2: gonna come back here. And if you're single and you're
- 14:23Speaker 2: having trouble transitioning from online matches to real life.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Matches, there's a tip. It's an interesting tip. Hang on,
- 14:32Speaker 3: I've got a quart of the day here and now.
- 14:35Speaker 2: If you are sort of having a hard time getting
- 14:38Speaker 2: from online matches into real life matches, have you heard
- 14:42Speaker 2: of the three to five message rule? They say, if
- 14:45Speaker 2: you're single and having a hard time transitioning from online
- 14:47Speaker 2: conversation to actual dates, they suggest this is there chemistry
- 14:52Speaker 2: after three to five messages. If there's chemistry after three
- 14:56Speaker 2: to five messages, then you should meet. If there's not,
- 15:00Speaker 2: move on, stop wasting your time.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Just move on.
- 15:04Speaker 5: This is risky. Why is it risky? What's what's risky
- 15:09Speaker 5: about it?
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's risky because some people are not good texters. Hi,
- 15:14Speaker 2: I am a bad texture.
- 15:16Speaker 5: I'm a bad I'm a bad texter.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have to pat myself on the back,
- 15:20Speaker 2: but I'm a better in person person than text person.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Text just get lost for me, Like I don't see
- 15:26Speaker 5: something the time.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I'm certainly not chat GPT cut paste. Guy, I'm not that,
- 15:32Speaker 2: and so I'm not saying the time for that. I'm
- 15:33Speaker 2: not saying that time to be so clever, Like sometimes
- 15:35Speaker 2: I literally will be okay, let's you know you should
- 15:38Speaker 2: do Ryan what text back? Something cute and clever? Well,
- 15:41Speaker 2: then I'm in the dot dot dot on the other
- 15:42Speaker 2: side for like three minutes. Put you first, because then
- 15:48Speaker 2: it's a three minutes to come up with that.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Yeah, you just go with what your first instinct is
- 15:55Speaker 5: because that's the world you.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Who knows who is the real everyone?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Today's quote the moment you stop apologizing for being ambitious?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Is the moment everything shifts?
- 16:11Speaker 3: What's new? This FM headlines with well.
- 16:14Speaker 5: A deadly crash at three point thirty this morning has

- 17:12Speaker 2: you want to do? Because you kind of do not
- 17:13Speaker 2: have to decide, don't you? With a year and a
- 17:15Speaker 2: half left?
- 17:16Speaker 6: Oh, gosh, yeah, I want to do radio broadcast.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Oh well we know. I mean you want to put
- 17:24Speaker 3: in a good word.
- 17:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I know a guy.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah, where do you want to do it? We can
- 17:30Speaker 3: call people? All right.

- 17:52Speaker 3: That is a nickname that we gave. That's a show
- 17:54Speaker 3: because he.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Was dressed up as Skeletor for Halloween when whatever? When
- 17:59Speaker 2: the Okay, so you're still dating this guy?
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's actually going really good.
- 18:04Speaker 6: Before New Year's he surprised me with tickets to Disneyland.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Wow.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Yeah, that like your Christmas gift. He was like, oh,
- 18:12Speaker 6: it's Christmas birthday and my birthday. So I was like, okay,
- 18:16Speaker 6: when's your birthday. It's on the twenty eighth of January.
- 18:22Speaker 3: It's a good gift. It was a great gift. And
- 18:24Speaker 3: he got park copper. Wow, like a detail. Like a detail.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Now, just to back up here, just to learn some
- 18:33Speaker 2: stuff for everybody involved, and anybody listening curious what makes
- 18:38Speaker 2: him good?
- 18:40Speaker 3: Like why do we like him?
- 18:42Speaker 6: I feel like he's just so sweet and he honestly
- 18:45Speaker 6: like he's very different from everybody I've been with in
- 18:48Speaker 6: the past. He's very reassuring and.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Just sweet and he goes like the.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Extra mile that part of I lot. Some people might say
- 18:57Speaker 2: sweet is boring.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I don't think he's boring.
- 19:00Speaker 6: He always gets me gifts, like for another birthday gift
- 19:04Speaker 6: as if it didn't at Dizzeyland, he got me these
- 19:06Speaker 6: very beautiful gold hoop earring.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Is he buying your love? I don't know if he's.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Trying to, Like when he gave me the ear rings,
- 19:16Speaker 6: I kind of was taken aback because I didn't know
- 19:18Speaker 6: if it's like too soon because we're not official yet.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Would you get him? I got him a water bottle?
- 19:25Speaker 2: You got you gold? What are you trying to? Like,
- 19:31Speaker 2: play it cool? That's a play it cool, Move well,
- 19:34Speaker 2: I'm not moving too fast, move.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Fair.
- 19:38Speaker 6: I got him the water bottle first, like I got
- 19:40Speaker 6: him the gift first, and I got him like an
- 19:41Speaker 6: a walla water bottle because he never drinks water. And
- 19:44Speaker 6: then a week later he pops out with these gold
- 19:47Speaker 6: diamond ear rings and I'm like, oh, geez great.
- 19:50Speaker 5: A week later, so it wasn't like you guys were
- 19:52Speaker 5: exchanging gifts.
- 19:53Speaker 3: No hot water bottle, that is the hot water bottle
- 19:59Speaker 3: I will drinking.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Does not get distracted with all the bottles of water.
- 20:05Speaker 2: When will you make it official?
- 20:07Speaker 6: That's on his terms. I mean, I'm definitely waiting. I
- 20:10Speaker 6: don't know when is too long for us to be
- 20:12Speaker 6: like in the dating stage, because we've been going out
- 20:15Speaker 6: for almost two months.
- 20:17Speaker 3: So I'm just gonna speak.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna say that of everybody here have been on
- 20:24Speaker 2: the most dates, there's no chance you can argue that
- 20:29Speaker 2: I'm fifty one years old and I'm dating Stace.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I dated a lot before, Michael.
- 20:35Speaker 9: You could never have dated many people as I dated
- 20:38Speaker 9: in my lifetime.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It's impossible. But you promise like you just like long
- 20:43Speaker 3: term relationships. You don't know. I don't even know.
- 20:47Speaker 2: But listen, Sophia, the thing is that longer you've been
- 20:51Speaker 2: together this long and not made it official, the riskier
- 20:55Speaker 2: it is that someone's gonna get a little hurt if
- 20:59Speaker 2: someone does so. Thing that's quote not off limits but
- 21:03Speaker 2: not great. And so you see Sisney he's like, the
- 21:07Speaker 2: more you're in this delta, yeah, this is an area
- 21:10Speaker 2: that's really dangerous right now.
- 21:13Speaker 3: For sure. It's not how I roll like.
- 21:15Speaker 5: I was always like, after like two weeks throughout one month,
- 21:17Speaker 5: I was like, all right, we're saying I love you.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Do you want to be with me forever?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Like?
- 21:20Speaker 3: If not, like we got to move on? Yeah?
- 21:23Speaker 2: I roll like this all the time, And so I
- 21:26Speaker 2: think I don't care so much or want to say
- 21:30Speaker 2: something until seeing bad happens and I'm like, wow, that hurts.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Wait, you like to be in the wishy washy stage
- 21:35Speaker 3: or you don't. I like to sometimes not always commit,
- 21:38Speaker 3: but I don't like the wishy washy stage. Right.
- 21:40Speaker 2: But I then find myself being jealous or hurt when
- 21:44Speaker 2: something that's not off limits happened.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Yes, So how would you feel if something like that happens?
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yeah? I would go insane? Okay, then like nudge him
- 21:53Speaker 3: for this chat, right, Systey, I think so? But is
- 21:56Speaker 3: that what you want?
- 21:58Speaker 2: WHOA?
- 21:58Speaker 6: I don't want to like put the pressure on him, beau,
- 22:00Speaker 6: And what if he gets cold feet and he's like.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's not marriage cold feet, it's just saying can we date?
- 22:05Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 22:05Speaker 3: Are we official. I don't know. I don't think so
- 22:12Speaker 3: how she does not want advice from us? She needs
- 22:18Speaker 3: it and she doesn't know that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: That's why we're here, just a blessing. So uh, here's
- 22:26Speaker 2: what How would you want him to say? How would
- 22:28Speaker 2: you hear it from him in your head?
- 22:30Speaker 6: I would want him to kind of ask me, maybe
- 22:32Speaker 6: with a bouquet of flowers or something like that, will
- 22:35Speaker 6: you be my girlfriend?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Like something big and nice, like asking you a homecoming?
- 22:41Speaker 3: I think that's cute.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It is.
- 22:45Speaker 3: He or one of his friends are listening. Sofia, thanks
- 22:48Speaker 3: for the updates.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I think we're giving fine advice and think she's she's
- 22:52Speaker 2: trying to play cool.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I she doesn't want to hear it, but she's writing now.
- 22:55Speaker 10: I want one of those wim Bryan Seacrest with you,
- 23:02Speaker 10: Tania is out in Sysney and Sophia hanging out with me.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Got Ruby, michaela there in the back room. It's time,
- 23:09Speaker 2: HI for a second date.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Update.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Natalie in Valley Village has reached out to us. Natalie,
- 23:15Speaker 2: good morning, how.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Are you good?
- 23:18Speaker 11: How are you doing?
- 23:19Speaker 2: I'm okay, thanks for listening to us. So you got
- 23:23Speaker 2: set up by a friend on a date with a
- 23:24Speaker 2: really great guy. He was super cute and friendly and charming.
- 23:29Speaker 2: But then he has not asked you out again, and
- 23:32Speaker 2: you can't get your friend to tell you why.
- 23:35Speaker 3: This is tricky?
- 23:38Speaker 11: Yeah, it is.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Uh, why do you think now your friends should be
- 23:46Speaker 2: feeding you?
- 23:47Speaker 3: Intel? Your friend you're responsible for this?
- 23:53Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean that's fine, I think I Yeah, she
- 23:56Speaker 11: just hasn't. I don't know. Every time I bring it up,
- 23:59Speaker 11: she like is very vague.
- 24:02Speaker 3: But vague saying what we may have a clue.
- 24:05Speaker 11: Here, I don't know. I was just kind of like, oh,
- 24:10Speaker 11: like I had a really good time, is he gonna
- 24:12Speaker 11: ask me out again? And she was I don't know.
- 24:16Speaker 11: She was just like no, but like I have you know,
- 24:20Speaker 11: some great other guys for you. And I was like, okay,
- 24:23Speaker 11: well why not? And she's just like who cares, Like,
- 24:26Speaker 11: don't worry about.
- 24:27Speaker 3: It, pfile. She's running around with it with a bunch
- 24:31Speaker 3: of guys. What's going on with her?
- 24:33Speaker 11: Yeah, she's very social, but yeah, it's kind of weird. Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 11: I don't know, right, Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Netie, let's walk through the date, like just I don't
- 24:48Speaker 2: need every detail, but can you get me a quick plot?
- 24:51Speaker 3: And then did you feel anything that didn't feel right.
- 24:57Speaker 11: Okay, So well, the mutual from that set us up.
- 25:00Speaker 11: Her name is Flanea, and she set up set us
- 25:04Speaker 11: up on a date. She said she thought like that
- 25:07Speaker 11: would we would be perfect together. And she works with
- 25:11Speaker 11: him and I've done her forever, so I like trust her.
- 25:17Speaker 11: Uh So we went out and it was really fun
- 25:21Speaker 11: and just like a I don't know, it was a
- 25:24Speaker 11: good like memorable first date. It was a human athlete.
- 25:31Speaker 11: Well he I mean it's like I don't know. We
- 25:38Speaker 11: like we had like a little kiss, like nothing crazy,
- 25:45Speaker 11: and we said goodbye and everything like seemed fine, Like
- 25:49Speaker 11: I thought he would text me or how.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Was the kiss and just a little detail of that.
- 25:59Speaker 11: It was nice, like oh knows, it felt natural. It
- 26:04Speaker 11: was natural. It was like a natural first kiss, like
- 26:08Speaker 11: it was romantic, but it wasn't overdone, I guess.
- 26:14Speaker 2: And you showed interest and he showed interest, and now
- 26:16Speaker 2: you just don't know why he's not texting you.
- 26:20Speaker 11: Uh yeah, pretty much like I mean, I was really
- 26:23Speaker 11: into him, and like I thought he was into me,
- 26:27Speaker 11: and so I don't know he was. He was really sweet,
- 26:31Speaker 11: Like I was a couple of minutes late and when
- 26:35Speaker 11: I got there, he was like talking with everyone at
- 26:38Speaker 11: the bar and like a leader actually spilled a drink
- 26:42Speaker 11: on him and he was so sweet about it and
- 26:44Speaker 11: just like really funny, and.
- 26:46Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 26:50Speaker 2: One second, we're gonna try and get him on the
- 26:52Speaker 2: line and find out what went wrong.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I have a theory on this.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Okay, So he is friends with her friend, Yeah, female
- 27:01Speaker 2: in common. Yeah, I think he doesn't want this to
- 27:04Speaker 2: go any further because then everything that happens while they're dating,
- 27:08Speaker 2: all the personal stuff, will then be told to the girlfriend,
- 27:12Speaker 2: and then she'll know everything, and that is just not
- 27:14Speaker 2: fun for him.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And that's what I think is happening.
- 27:16Speaker 5: That's just how you feel about your coworker situations.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not dating anybody. You guys set me up there.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I know you want, so I don't try, but I'm
- 27:25Speaker 3: just telling you it's not just me. This guy's the same.
- 27:27Speaker 7: We don't know.
- 27:28Speaker 5: But I also didn't like that she was a couple
- 27:30Speaker 5: minutes late. I feel like that it might not have
- 27:32Speaker 5: been a couple of minutes. What if it was like thirty.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Minutes or like longer, and that might be that what
- 27:38Speaker 3: did it?
- 27:38Speaker 2: I mean, I've had to overcome that before too, But
- 27:42Speaker 2: Sometimes it's hair.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Sometimes it's traffic. I don't know, like you're later there late? No,
- 27:47Speaker 3: they're late? Ohkay? Hang on a middle of a second date.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Updated you not to ask yourself when you're going out
- 27:54Speaker 2: on a date. Are you dating to be social? Are
- 27:57Speaker 2: you dating because you want to find someone to commit?
- 28:00Speaker 2: I mean you got to sort of know what you're
- 28:01Speaker 2: going out for. Natalie reached out to us. She went
- 28:04Speaker 2: out mutual friend girlfriend of her, sets up with this
- 28:07Speaker 2: guy Aaron, and goes fine, I guess she was a
- 28:12Speaker 2: little bit late.
- 28:12Speaker 3: How late were you not late to get in there?
- 28:16Speaker 11: Like ten minutes?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Okay?
- 28:18Speaker 2: So other than that, you can figure out what why?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Like why is the guy who he's already vetted? Right,
- 28:24Speaker 2: they're both vetted because there's a mutual girlfriend here, a
- 28:27Speaker 2: friend of Natalie, it's a friend of Aaron's.
- 28:30Speaker 3: That's a big deal.
- 28:31Speaker 2: When you've got somebody in the middle, you're saying, yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 2: this person, don't worry, they're not crazy, you know. So
- 28:37Speaker 2: Natalie question, yes, what were you dating for? To socialize
- 28:43Speaker 2: or to find someone?
- 28:47Speaker 11: I mean, I want to find someone.
- 28:50Speaker 12: I like.
- 28:50Speaker 11: I turned out to put huge expectations on dates, but yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 11: it would be nice to find someone long term.
- 28:58Speaker 2: You seem great and super nice, So we have Aaron,
- 29:01Speaker 2: don't say anything.
- 29:02Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Don't say anything. We're going to find out from him,
- 29:06Speaker 2: hopefully what happened. We're going to talk to him.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Now.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Be very quiet.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, Hi, Aaron, it's Ryan Seacrest. You're on the
- 29:13Speaker 2: air with assistany our intern Sophia here because FM.
- 29:16Speaker 3: How are you? I'm good?
- 29:18Speaker 4: How are you?
- 29:20Speaker 3: I'm great?
- 29:21Speaker 2: Well, not great, but thanks for asking. It's not contagious.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I'm several days into it. So Aaron, I'm calling because
- 29:30Speaker 2: we're going to talk to about your personal life.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Now. Did you get set up by a mutual friend
- 29:34Speaker 3: with a girl named Natalie? Oh?
- 29:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we we went out a couple.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah, a few weeks ago.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I think great. How was that?
- 29:45Speaker 4: Honestly?
- 29:46Speaker 1: She was cool?
- 29:47Speaker 4: I guess I don't I don't know.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Okay, what does that?
- 29:54Speaker 4: What is that?
- 29:55Speaker 3: I guess you don't know.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Okay, it's it's just like.
- 30:00Speaker 4: She kind of she hated me, honestly, so you know
- 30:03Speaker 4: it's it's whatever. I'm not for everybody.
- 30:06Speaker 3: But why do you think that?
- 30:10Speaker 1: Now?
- 30:10Speaker 4: I mean, she definitely she was like Okay, she said
- 30:15Speaker 4: do you always just talk to everyone? And I'd gotten
- 30:19Speaker 4: there first at the date and made some friends with
- 30:21Speaker 4: the waite staff, and then she was like, aren't you.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Going to ask anything about me?
- 30:26Speaker 4: So I did, and then she was like, what LINEA
- 30:30Speaker 4: didn't tell you about me?
- 30:32Speaker 1: I mean it was it was bad. It was really bad.
- 30:37Speaker 3: What's bad about all this? Is it you that doesn't
- 30:41Speaker 3: like her?
- 30:43Speaker 4: No, she's just like she was judging me for like
- 30:46Speaker 4: talking to people, and then she was judging me when
- 30:50Speaker 4: I asked her about herself, as if like I was
- 30:53Speaker 4: supposed to know, like I was supposed to get like
- 30:55Speaker 4: a resume or something in the like email before.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's kind of like, I understand, I got it. It's
- 31:02Speaker 2: kind of like you should have read the brief ahead
- 31:04Speaker 2: of time.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Aaron, Ye, do you.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Not want to go out with her because she's been
- 31:12Speaker 2: set up through a mutual friend? You don't want that
- 31:13Speaker 2: mutual friend to know about all your dating and stuff?
- 31:16Speaker 3: Is that a possibility?
- 31:18Speaker 1: No?
- 31:18Speaker 4: No, I mean I just felt like.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, nobody else really thinks that. Ryan,
- 31:23Speaker 3: you don't have to be truthful. That's fine, Okay, so truthful.
- 31:29Speaker 2: You know, he doesn't really want to be set up
- 31:33Speaker 2: through the mutual probably.
- 31:35Speaker 4: But no, no, it just felt like she couldn't get
- 31:38Speaker 4: away from me fast enough.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 31:39Speaker 4: So, so she.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Didn't like you and she was judgmental, that's your synopsis.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I did not get good vibes, and.
- 31:46Speaker 5: You would be surprised if she wanted to go out
- 31:48Speaker 5: with you again.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Yeah, if you want to go out with her again,
- 31:53Speaker 4: if she did, I mean may I yeah, I'm sure,
- 31:59Speaker 4: but I just don't really feel like that would ever
- 32:02Speaker 4: be a thing.
- 32:02Speaker 2: So okay, so Aaron, let us move the ball here.
- 32:06Speaker 2: We have Natalie on the line.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Really, she's been.
- 32:14Speaker 2: She's been niceeing Natalie. Obviously, you heard that he thinks
- 32:17Speaker 2: you are judgmenttal. How would you judge Erin by saying that?
- 32:22Speaker 11: He Aaron, I'm I'm so sorry. I think he's right.
- 32:29Speaker 11: I sometimes, on like on first dates, I just I
- 32:34Speaker 11: get really nervous. I'm like a little bit shy sometimes
- 32:38Speaker 11: when you first get to know me, and I have
- 32:42Speaker 11: been told that it can come off as standoffish, but
- 32:47Speaker 11: I like, I really liked you. I I definitely wasn't
- 32:51Speaker 11: judging you or wasn't trying to. And I am so
- 32:55Speaker 11: sorry if it came off that way.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Okay, that's that's totally fine. And like you called a
- 33:03Speaker 4: radio station about that.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Like to talk to me.
- 33:10Speaker 11: Yeah, it's it's sinking date update. But I don't know anyways,
- 33:14Speaker 11: I'm just I'm really sorry, and yeah, I get it
- 33:18Speaker 11: if if you wouldn't want to go out again.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Oh it's not that.
- 33:23Speaker 4: It's just like I felt like I couldn't win all night,
- 33:25Speaker 4: and like you never laughed at anything I said.
- 33:28Speaker 11: And I know, I know, I'm sorry. I'm I'm just
- 33:33Speaker 11: kind of weird sometimes, but it wasn't you about all.
- 33:38Speaker 11: I promise, no, no.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Worries at all, Like that's not I mean, you're not weird.
- 33:45Speaker 4: I just I just didn't think that you liked me.
- 33:47Speaker 4: I mean I would.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Totally take you out again.
- 33:50Speaker 4: I mean, now that we are aware of the issue,
- 33:53Speaker 4: we can you know, we could laugh about it.
- 33:59Speaker 3: This is right? Yes, all right? And she sounds super I.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Feel like we just embrace the cringe, you.
- 34:05Speaker 13: Know, right, yes, yes, yes, yeah, anything else before we go,
- 34:21Speaker 13: because this is great.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Twenty twenty thick here we are.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Perfect, are you guys? Get in touch.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Thank you very much for your honesty and transparency, and
- 34:34Speaker 2: we wish you luck.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Good luck, Natalie, good luck, Aaron, good luck?
- 34:37Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Kiss a second date update success on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 34:50Speaker 3: It's kiss f M.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I thank you for getting us on iHeartRadio, your smart device,
- 34:55Speaker 2: your phone, whatever you're doing on the car radio jumping
- 34:58Speaker 2: into Julie, and then I got the Megan Trainer tickets.
- 35:01Speaker 2: But Julie in vent eyes. You have called for some
- 35:06Speaker 2: guidance here. Hi, how are you doing?
- 35:07Speaker 3: Happy New Year? Shoot here yesterday.
- 35:11Speaker 2: I'm not saying it anymore, so happy New you too,
- 35:15Speaker 2: but I'm stopping saying that you're the last Happy New Year.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Julie.
- 35:20Speaker 8: Oh, I'm honored.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so tell me what happened.
- 35:25Speaker 2: You're at a Newsy party and your boyfriend did not
- 35:28Speaker 2: kiss you at midnight?
- 35:31Speaker 8: Yeah, we did the countdown, No, we did, you know,
- 35:36Speaker 8: like we cheered, we couldn't glasses. He told everyone Happy
- 35:39Speaker 8: New Year, but like he didn't kiss me. I just
- 35:42Speaker 8: kind of stood there awkwardly.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Was he drunk?
- 35:46Speaker 8: I mean we were feeling it, but nothing. He wasn't
- 35:48Speaker 8: sloppy or anything. It was like normal, you know, normal
- 35:52Speaker 8: New Year's vibes.
- 35:54Speaker 3: I mean that would be a problem, that would be
- 35:56Speaker 3: a deal breaker for me. Oh, guys, how long you've
- 35:59Speaker 3: been with him?
- 36:01Speaker 8: Like six months about and it's been going really well,
- 36:04Speaker 8: like we're exclusive, we hang out all the time, Like
- 36:07Speaker 8: I really like him.
- 36:09Speaker 2: But didn't you can't you lean to kiss him and
- 36:12Speaker 2: then he would kiss you, and it's kind of two parter, right.
- 36:16Speaker 8: Well, it was like a big group of friends and
- 36:18Speaker 8: we were all kind of like standing and doing the cowdown,
- 36:20Speaker 8: and then it's like he just immediately went off and
- 36:23Speaker 8: like started hugging everybody and saying Happy New Year's and cheersing.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Was there something like turning to me?
- 36:28Speaker 8: Do you know what I mean?
- 36:29Speaker 5: Is there someone there from his past that he didn't want?
- 36:32Speaker 3: Does he kiss you?
- 36:33Speaker 8: Not that I not that I know of that. It
- 36:35Speaker 8: was just like a normal group of friends.
- 36:38Speaker 3: I don't harp on this, but you're as responsible as
- 36:41Speaker 3: he is. True.
- 36:43Speaker 5: If you want something, go get it, you know what
- 36:45Speaker 5: I mean? Grab his face and kiss him?
- 36:47Speaker 3: Or are you saying, babe, that was midnight? Come here? Yes?
- 36:50Speaker 8: Yes, I think it was just like I just assumed
- 36:55Speaker 8: like we were like standing by each other, so I
- 36:57Speaker 8: turned in and then he was like like.
- 37:05Speaker 2: But I feel like maybe this is symbolic of something
- 37:12Speaker 2: that you've been feeling already.
- 37:17Speaker 8: That's like what I'm worried about is like, is it
- 37:20Speaker 8: just no big deal he's oblivious or was it like
- 37:25Speaker 8: is it like is he pulling back?
- 37:28Speaker 3: Or I don't know? Can you not just talk to
- 37:31Speaker 3: him about it? I mean, look, it's been days. Have
- 37:33Speaker 3: you kissed since? Yeah?
- 37:36Speaker 8: I asked him, asked him later that night. I was like,
- 37:39Speaker 8: what happened? And he was like, I didn't. I didn't
- 37:41Speaker 8: even think about it. It was not a big deal. Like
- 37:43Speaker 8: he just kind of laughed it off and was like,
- 37:44Speaker 8: what it's no big deal? Like who cares? I mean,
- 37:47Speaker 8: but I can't stop thinking about it.
- 37:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 37:50Speaker 2: Well, then if you if it's tearing you up, you
- 37:52Speaker 2: got to get to the bottom of it, and you
- 37:55Speaker 2: got to find out why he didn't. If he just
- 37:58Speaker 2: says like whatever, then you gotta find out is there
- 38:01Speaker 2: something else going on that's making you even question your relationship?
- 38:05Speaker 2: Because to me, honestly, Julie, I don't know. I'm out
- 38:08Speaker 2: at a party on New Year's even I'm hanging with
- 38:10Speaker 2: friends and all of a sudden, it's midnight and you
- 38:13Speaker 2: gotta come.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I gotta come.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Somebody's gotta we take two of us to get our
- 38:17Speaker 2: lips to touch.
- 38:19Speaker 3: So, I mean, do you.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Think that like you would forget though Ryan or you
- 38:26Speaker 5: would it would just like you wouldn't kill your significant other?
- 38:31Speaker 2: Good luck and thank you for calling good luck? Well,
- 38:34Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. I'm always at work, so
- 38:35Speaker 2: I hugged Diana Ross.
- 38:36Speaker 5: Right, Okay, if you weren't at work, what was the question?
- 38:41Speaker 5: Happy New Year? You're with your whoever? No, do you
- 38:46Speaker 5: want run around the room and start hugging everybody else?
- 38:49Speaker 3: No?
- 38:50Speaker 2: I mean me personally, I'm good on like queueing myself
- 38:52Speaker 2: up to be in the position. Okay, I cub it
- 38:55Speaker 2: because I don't want I don't want to have I
- 38:57Speaker 2: don't want her calling into someone like me in time
- 38:59Speaker 2: that comment.
- 39:02Speaker 3: So I'm I would be good on that.
- 39:04Speaker 2: But it's also it's a New Year's party, right, Megan
- 39:06Speaker 2: Trainer tickets their next You're a kiss This is Kiss FM.
- 39:10Speaker 2: You're watching something Who done it? Who done it? And
- 39:16Speaker 2: you think they didn't figure out? You know what I'm
- 39:18Speaker 2: gonna do. I'm gonna go put on my trousers. I'm
- 39:22Speaker 2: gonna get out there. I'm ana fare out who did
- 39:23Speaker 2: do it? It's not my job. I'm not a cop.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I'm not a p I I'm not trained. You know,
- 39:29Speaker 2: I'm not Matt Locke. I'm gonna get out there and
- 39:33Speaker 2: figure is Matt Locker who done it?
- 39:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 39:35Speaker 2: That just popped into my headfl And Matt Lock's an attorney. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 2: I was trying to think of.
- 39:42Speaker 3: There is a really old show called Murder. She wrote,
- 39:44Speaker 3: what was her name? Jessica Lang, Jessica Lang. Look it up, kids,
- 39:50Speaker 3: we're gonna know Jessica Fletcher.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Oh, Jessica Wait, Who's Jessica Lang?
- 39:55Speaker 3: Was an actress she was into among.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Wow, you can't expect they got one the names you
- 40:02Speaker 2: can't exp Angela lansberrys who I'm thinking, I'm not even Jessica.
- 40:05Speaker 13: Oh.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Look the show The Wheel. There's two wheels on a four. Okay.
- 40:09Speaker 2: But the point is I never listened to your true
- 40:11Speaker 2: Crime and be like, I'm gonna go solve it. Now
- 40:13Speaker 2: you're telling me that some la moms ye had some
- 40:15Speaker 2: time after their kids went to school, decided to pick
- 40:17Speaker 2: a cold case and they solved it.
- 40:19Speaker 5: Yes, these moms had kids that are kind of getting older,
- 40:21Speaker 5: and they're kind of in that stage of their life
- 40:24Speaker 5: where they have a little bit extra more free time.
- 40:28Speaker 5: Maybe the kids are now driving so they're not like
- 40:30Speaker 5: driving them so much. And they decided during the pandemic
- 40:33Speaker 5: to bond over their love for true crime. I saw
- 40:36Speaker 5: this whole article in the La Times about this book
- 40:38Speaker 5: and these moms, and they just started looking into this
- 40:41Speaker 5: this old case from like fifteen years ago, and it
- 40:44Speaker 5: was a cold case, just out of curiosity. They had
- 40:47Speaker 5: no law enforcement backgrounds. These four moms are just regular
- 40:50Speaker 5: moms working different jobs, different careers, and they tracked down records,
- 40:56Speaker 5: they followed leads, they would communicate, you know, in between
- 41:00Speaker 5: carpols and things, just like be like what did you find?
- 41:02Speaker 3: What did you find?
- 41:03Speaker 5: And ultimately they ended up solving this fifteen year old case,
- 41:07Speaker 5: which I just think is so remarkable for them to
- 41:10Speaker 5: completely now shift their careers.
- 41:13Speaker 3: And this is like what they're doing.
- 41:15Speaker 5: The book's called The Carpool Detectives if you want to
- 41:18Speaker 5: check it out. But the whole thing was just a
- 41:20Speaker 5: really interesting second act.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Are they doing pro bono or are they getting fees
- 41:26Speaker 2: from something?
- 41:27Speaker 3: These are the.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Questions, and I feel like we need to like I
- 41:30Speaker 5: want to have them on, like if these are La moms,
- 41:33Speaker 5: like come on, and we.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Need to talk to you, anything to be scared of.
- 41:39Speaker 5: That's the thing, right when you start digging into some
- 41:41Speaker 5: of these cases, what if there's relatives of said murderer
- 41:47Speaker 5: who knows? Like, yeah, I don't know. I would be
- 41:49Speaker 5: scared to be connected to anything like that.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Look, I can't listen to true crime anyway.
- 41:54Speaker 2: I can't even like you sisty friends of mine, they
- 41:57Speaker 2: love it before I love the truth. I'm before sleepy
- 42:00Speaker 2: sleeps like run.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Away on Netflix's kind of true Crimey, it's not true.
- 42:05Speaker 5: This is true crime fictional thing, but it's it's mystery.
- 42:11Speaker 3: It's like who who did it? Who?
- 42:14Speaker 9: Yip?
- 42:14Speaker 2: It's can't be like I can sleepy sleep after that one. Sure,
- 42:19Speaker 2: but it's fascinating. Good on them getting out there and
- 42:21Speaker 2: being proact. I know, coming up next they should work
- 42:25Speaker 2: on some new stuff. I mean, if you want to
- 42:26Speaker 2: solve some crimes, like what's what's active? What's out there?
- 42:29Speaker 3: Now? We need to know.
- 42:30Speaker 2: We've got Valerie once. These are in a grande ticket.
- 42:33Speaker 2: So we're gonna pop around here and play a little
- 42:36Speaker 2: suddenly called in or Out for twenty twenty six. Good morning, Valerie,
- 42:43Speaker 2: good morning, good Morning's are happy to have you so
- 42:54Speaker 2: listen to this. Harper's Bizarre just came out with the
- 42:57Speaker 2: ins and outs for twenty twenty six. Okay, the Inn's
- 43:00Speaker 2: what's in, what's out? I'm gonna go down the list.
- 43:03Speaker 2: You tell me if it's in or out. You gotta
- 43:06Speaker 2: get three right before you get three wrong. I think
- 43:10Speaker 2: you'll do it.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 43:15Speaker 11: Yes?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Okay? This is fun and quite enlightening too. White jeans,
- 43:23Speaker 2: white jeans, Are they in or out for twenty twenty six?
- 43:28Speaker 8: I would say out?
- 43:31Speaker 3: Now they're in? They are in.
- 43:35Speaker 5: I mean I do love my white jeans, all right.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Next Polka dots, Polka dots, so they in er out
- 43:43Speaker 2: for twenty twenty six?
- 43:45Speaker 8: In you're out?
- 43:48Speaker 3: They are out right bizarre? All right?
- 43:55Speaker 2: Now, you gotta kind of get this soon to stand
- 43:58Speaker 2: if we play by the rules, voice notes, voice notes
- 44:03Speaker 2: on your phone? Are they in or out for twenty
- 44:04Speaker 2: twenty six?
- 44:07Speaker 1: They're in?
- 44:09Speaker 11: Oh?
- 44:10Speaker 3: Your are out? Harper's Bizarre. This is bizarre.
- 44:19Speaker 2: You want me to go to another year for you?
- 44:25Speaker 3: Maybe how about this one? I'm gonna play all or nothing.
- 44:28Speaker 2: We're gonna change your rules because we are, okay, wanting
- 44:31Speaker 2: you to go see our Inn, the Grande. Okay, Caesar Caesar,
- 44:38Speaker 2: Caesar Caesar salads.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Are they in or out for twenty twenty six?
- 44:46Speaker 11: Oh my gosh, they're in.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Hopefully Caesar salads are having the biggest comeback here of all.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Now you won't say you win bizarre game that I've
- 45:03Speaker 3: ever played. Stop harping.
- 45:07Speaker 2: All right, congratulations, you're gonna go see our ina grande.
- 45:10Speaker 2: You did something. All right, we got you. Thank you
- 45:18Speaker 2: for listening to us. We appreciate you calling it.
- 45:21Speaker 9: Wow.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Okay, you're welcome. I don't like people to lose me, please, No,
- 45:29Speaker 3: especially that game. I know that was a tricky one.
- 45:32Speaker 3: How happy am I?
- 45:33Speaker 2: A lot of Caesar salad that it's gonna be? I'm
- 45:35Speaker 2: gonna have a lot of them this year.
- 45:37Speaker 9: On air with Ryan Seacrest, I love the way and
- 45:45Speaker 9: I and here we go again, our first Tuesday together.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Back at work, back to school, Back to now. Sophia,
- 45:56Speaker 2: you're in school. Do you have any tests immediately? Do
- 45:59Speaker 2: they do anything exam wise fast upon the first week?
- 46:03Speaker 6: I don't think so. Honestly, the first week is always
- 46:05Speaker 6: known as like the syllabus week, so it's kind of
- 46:07Speaker 6: smooth sailing.
- 46:08Speaker 3: But we have all like syllabi.
- 46:09Speaker 6: Extra credit exams and the syllabus exams, but everybody knows
- 46:14Speaker 6: that they don't really mean anything.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but don't tell these like certain things you just
- 46:19Speaker 2: don't say out loud, deadlines, the labs. It all starts
- 46:24Speaker 2: again linked in comparisons. But you know, teachers go through
- 46:30Speaker 2: a lot every year and they do, I mean, especially
- 46:33Speaker 2: for younger kids. They really put in a lot of care, time, effort, energy,
- 46:38Speaker 2: even spend their own money for things. And we're gonna
- 46:42Speaker 2: bring in Alex Garrier. Alex is on the line here now,
- 46:45Speaker 2: he's from Donors Choose. Donors Choose. They work with teachers
- 46:50Speaker 2: in different situations that need extra stuff, and it's just
- 46:55Speaker 2: a first a way for us to say high end
- 46:57Speaker 2: salute teachers who are back at it again this year.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Alex, good morning, thanks for coming on.
- 47:02Speaker 7: Good morning, and happy New Year. It's really great to
- 47:05Speaker 7: be on with you.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Thank you very much. Happy New Year.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Now what is a guy, a studious guy like Alex
- 47:11Speaker 2: from Donors Choose.
- 47:12Speaker 3: What's he doing to live it up on New Year's Eve?
- 47:16Speaker 7: Oh my goodness. I actually took a trip to Santa
- 47:20Speaker 7: Fe this year. It was my first time in the city.
- 47:25Speaker 7: Really quite a beautiful city. So I don't know if
- 47:27Speaker 7: it Cans is living it up, but I was surrounded
- 47:30Speaker 7: by some of the most amazing vistas that I've ever seen.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I thought it was a pretty good way to start
- 47:35Speaker 1: the new year.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds I mean, that's a beautiful part of
- 47:38Speaker 2: the country and it sounds incredible.
- 47:40Speaker 3: So well done.
- 47:42Speaker 2: To focus on teachers, we talk about this all the time,
- 47:46Speaker 2: that they put in so much extra effort, energy, spirit,
- 47:50Speaker 2: money for their kids in their classrooms, and Donors Choose
- 47:54Speaker 2: helps out with that. First of all, just the headline
- 47:56Speaker 2: of what does Donors Choose do.
- 48:00Speaker 7: Yeah, we are a nonprofit organization and we are focused
- 48:05Speaker 7: on helping teachers across the country get the stuff that
- 48:08Speaker 7: they need to help their kids. And the way that
- 48:10Speaker 7: we work is that any public school teacher in the
- 48:13Speaker 7: country can come to donors Choose dot org, create a
- 48:16Speaker 7: request for stuff that they need to meet their kids' needs,
- 48:20Speaker 7: and then we have amazing donors who come and support
- 48:26Speaker 7: these projects and help us get those teachers the resources
- 48:30Speaker 7: that help make their classrooms magical.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Alex at the top of the list, give me the
- 48:35Speaker 2: top three things that you find teachers need and use
- 48:39Speaker 2: the most.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it really runs the gamut.
- 48:43Speaker 7: But you know, currently if we look at our lists,
- 48:47Speaker 7: one of the probably the top category are sort of
- 48:51Speaker 7: learning games and educational kits, things that help make learning fun.
- 48:57Speaker 7: Our second category is all kinds of instructional technology that
- 49:02Speaker 7: includes innovative stuff like you know, coding, robots and all
- 49:06Speaker 7: kinds of things that teachers are looking to bring into
- 49:09Speaker 7: the classroom. And then our third category, maybe surprisingly is
- 49:14Speaker 7: kind of basic needs food, clothing, and hygiene and those
- 49:19Speaker 7: sorts of supplies because public school teachers, when they see
- 49:24Speaker 7: that they have students that have that kind of need,
- 49:27Speaker 7: they really step up to meet the challenge and help
- 49:30Speaker 7: their kids get those basic needs met as well.
- 49:34Speaker 2: So you want to get in on helping out a
- 49:38Speaker 2: teacher nearby, local teacher. iHeartRadio dot com slash teachers, and
- 49:43Speaker 2: to those teachers who have gotten back and are going
- 49:45Speaker 2: back to the classroom, we salute, we think, we acknowledge,
- 49:50Speaker 2: we highlight, we spotlight. And it's so interesting because you know,
- 49:54Speaker 2: they're really for so many teachers that I have met,
- 49:58Speaker 2: there's no real like wall or separation from them when
- 50:03Speaker 2: they're teaching the kids and taking care of those kids
- 50:06Speaker 2: any hours of the classroom, and then afterwards like they're
- 50:09Speaker 2: still thinking about them, They're still trying to FITU out
- 50:11Speaker 2: how they can help them. It's really a twenty four
- 50:14Speaker 2: to seven job, isn't it.
- 50:18Speaker 1: It really is. And you know, and I used to
- 50:20Speaker 1: be a public school teacher as well.
- 50:22Speaker 7: I taught middle school math and science and high school math.
- 50:26Speaker 7: And I mean it's also a source of great joy.
- 50:29Speaker 7: I think that's part of the motivation, because you know,
- 50:32Speaker 7: I can I can tell you when you're in the
- 50:34Speaker 7: classroom and if there's something that you can do to
- 50:38Speaker 7: make that spark happen for a kid, or make the
- 50:41Speaker 7: connection happen, or they get to do something new that
- 50:44Speaker 7: they've never done before. There it's hard to think of
- 50:48Speaker 7: too much more that that, you know, really motivates you
- 50:53Speaker 7: from day to day. I have to say, I saw
- 50:56Speaker 7: on Instagram recently featuring you, Ryan. I think you were
- 50:59Speaker 7: talking the band and White at telling the story of
- 51:01Speaker 7: how an educator. I think your high school principal made
- 51:05Speaker 7: a big impact on you and brought you into broadcasting.
- 51:09Speaker 1: And that's the kind of.
- 51:12Speaker 7: Well, at times, it feels, you know, like it can
- 51:15Speaker 7: be life changing for kids.
- 51:18Speaker 1: And so it's kind of no wonder that.
- 51:20Speaker 7: Public school teachers across the country are thinking of their
- 51:23Speaker 7: jobs as the twenty four to seven you know occupation.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Well, thank goodness, we've got people doing it. Doctor Jenny
- 51:31Speaker 2: Springer was my principal and she let me do the
- 51:34Speaker 2: morning announcements. I had audition and she got me the
- 51:36Speaker 2: job of doing the morning announcements. And that's what began
- 51:39Speaker 2: sort of my path here. And so I adore and
- 51:42Speaker 2: appreciate doctor Jenny Springer and Dunwoody, Georgia, the Dunwoody Wildcats.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Alex. Great to have you doing
- 51:50Speaker 2: what you're doing and helping those teachers. Irraty dot com

- 53:00Speaker 2: first one. It's from Maggie and you could listen anywhere
- 53:04Speaker 2: on our Heart radio. She's actually in Ohio and she's
- 53:06Speaker 2: got a message.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Happy years to everybody.

- 53:12Speaker 14: and do my exercise and enjoying the chats and they
- 53:18Speaker 14: advise the yo gift. I hope you all had a
- 53:21Speaker 14: very good New Year's heart best wishes to everyone.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Most important, I wanted her to tell me what her
- 53:28Speaker 2: exercise is for that.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Yes, I feel like she's on the treadmill or something
- 53:33Speaker 3: that's not treadmill vibes, no yoga vibe.
- 53:37Speaker 5: Oh sure, she's zen. I have a thing with people
- 53:44Speaker 5: that say happy New Years versus Happy New Year.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Okay, well what's your thing?
- 53:50Speaker 5: I think as it annoys me, I think, why why
- 53:52Speaker 5: is it multiple years?
- 53:53Speaker 2: Isn't it just happy New year well, because it's derived
- 53:57Speaker 2: from New Year's Eve, possessed right, New Year's people are
- 54:04Speaker 2: continuing with the New Year's Eve component, So it's happy
- 54:09Speaker 2: New Year is I think most likely correct? But happy
- 54:16Speaker 2: New Years is what many of us say.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Now. I have chosen to not let it bother me
- 54:24Speaker 3: while you were so zen in six.
- 54:26Speaker 2: No, it's not zen, it's not. It's just that, you know,
- 54:32Speaker 2: every action creates an opportunity for you to choose how
- 54:38Speaker 2: you want to say.
- 54:39Speaker 5: Maybe it doesn't bother me, Maybe it's more I just
- 54:41Speaker 5: like it.
- 54:41Speaker 4: It like.
- 54:43Speaker 3: It makes me question why to say it. I don't know.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Well, I don't think she knows she says it.
- 54:51Speaker 3: I choose to hear what she meant. You know, when
- 54:55Speaker 3: people say things.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Like, how about Sophia said earlier correctly taken up? Yeah,
- 55:01Speaker 2: some people say taken back. Taking back's wrong. I choose
- 55:04Speaker 2: to not let that bother me. I chose to not
- 55:08Speaker 2: commend you.
- 55:08Speaker 3: I kidding it correct.
- 55:12Speaker 2: For years, for years, f y I Maggie Sity nipped
- 55:17Speaker 2: it in the butt.
- 55:18Speaker 3: I didn't in the butt until we had so.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Many pinches of our tushes that we had to rectify
- 55:23Speaker 2: it to bud soreness was happening. Nod, Well, how about this?
- 55:31Speaker 2: I couldn't care less or I could care less? I
- 55:34Speaker 2: couldn't Which is right?
- 55:36Speaker 3: I couldn't care less?
- 55:38Speaker 6: I think it's I couldn't right because you can't care anymore?
- 55:42Speaker 3: Right?
- 55:42Speaker 5: If you you're the student, you're the one I could
- 55:46Speaker 5: care I mean they're both well.
- 55:49Speaker 2: No, if you could care less care less, then I
- 55:52Speaker 2: think right is making Yeah? Well to me, if I
- 55:57Speaker 2: really can't care less, I'm gonna say to you, I've
- 56:00Speaker 2: cared less so much I can't care less anymore, so
- 56:02Speaker 2: I couldn't care less.
- 56:04Speaker 3: What the heck are we talking about? Anyways? Talkbacks? Okay?

- 58:07Speaker 2: They say, if you're single and having a hard time
- 58:09Speaker 2: transitioning from online conversation to actual dates, they suggest this
- 58:14Speaker 2: is there chemistry after three to five messages. If there's
- 58:18Speaker 2: chemistry after three to five messages, then you should meet.
- 58:22Speaker 2: If there's not, move on, stop wasting your time.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Just move on.
- 58:27Speaker 5: This is risky. Why is it risky? What's what's risky
- 58:32Speaker 5: about it?
- 58:33Speaker 2: It's risky because some people are not good texters. Hi,
- 58:37Speaker 2: I am a bad texture.
