- 0:13Hello, hello, hello! All that did sound rather
- 0:18RuPaul Drag Race, didn't it? Hello, you lovely,
- 0:22lovely listeners, and welcome to the Psychic
- 0:25Explorer. This episode, which is the first of
- 0:28two October spooky season episodes, welcome along.
- 0:34I'm really looking forward to this. First of
- 0:37all, happy birthday to me. No, not me, Matt,
- 0:41but to the Psychiexplorer. I have reached a whole
- 0:44year of doing this and I know there's a slight
- 0:47hiatus at the beginning of the year. However,
- 0:50I started in October 2024 and we are already
- 0:54in October 2025. Thank goodness I am not ill
- 0:58like I was when I first started. I don't have
- 1:00that hacking cough. I'm talking to you from my
- 1:03back bedroom. And it is blowy. It is rainy. It
- 1:07is cold. It is autumn. Yes, it is my favorite
- 1:12time of year. I absolutely adore autumn. And
- 1:16tomorrow is the first Sunday in October, which
- 1:19means only one thing in my house, pumpkin picking.
- 1:23I love it. It is an annual tradition in my household
- 1:26where we go out, we go to the local farmer where
- 1:28they've got loads and loads of pumpkins growing
- 1:30in the fields. We go and pick them and we bring
- 1:33them back. Invariably, Simon always tells me
- 1:36that I've got far too many. Of course, you can
- 1:38never have too many pumpkins for the front house.
- 1:41We decorate the front doorstep and we decorate
- 1:43the house in autumnal colors. It's just, oh,
- 1:46I love it. We actually did a road trip. My word.
- 1:50Yeah, it would have been ten years ago. We went
- 1:53to New England and We flew into New York went
- 1:56up to Connecticut hide a car from there and we
- 1:59went all around New England Vermont, New Hampshire
- 2:02Maine Massachusetts we even managed to make up
- 2:05to Montreal for a couple of nights, which oh
- 2:07beautiful absolutely stunning but we were really
- 2:10inspired by the American take on Halloween or
- 2:14salwain as the pagans and the Celts called it
- 2:17around my way But growing up in this country,
- 2:21it's fair to say that American culture is just
- 2:24ingrained in what we see and what we watch, and
- 2:27I grew up watching all things American and it
- 2:31never really I never really grew I always thought
- 2:33that you know Americans were a bit OT or at least
- 2:36I thought the portrayal of how they did Halloween
- 2:39was OTT and I thought no way can it possibly
- 2:43be like that but we went to New England 10 years
- 2:45ago to see the autumn colors and we were there
- 2:48not for Halloween but for the build -up for it
- 2:51and let me tell you these beautiful quintessentially
- 2:57New English, old villages and old towns. You
- 3:02just can't make out the amount of color, the
- 3:05amount of cheer, the chrysanthemums everywhere.
- 3:08I don't know why they call it apple cider because
- 3:10I'm not sure what else cider is if it's not apples.
- 3:13But apple cider is hand -pressed and I remember
- 3:16we went to the Vermont country store and... Honestly,
- 3:20if you get a chance to go, get a chance to see
- 3:24it, then I thoroughly recommend it. And we came
- 3:26back and I remember where we lived before. We
- 3:30lived in this little new build cul -de -sac.
- 3:34And it was the house we were living and we were
- 3:36renting just before we bought this house. And
- 3:39we were back just in time for Halloween. So I
- 3:41went to the local animal supply shop where I
- 3:44got myself a small bale of straw or two. Wacked
- 3:47that outside the front door, made like a couple
- 3:51of stacks of these straw bales, got as many pumpkins
- 3:54as I could, went to the shops, got a massive
- 3:57bunches of chrysanthemums and I just decorated
- 4:00our doorstep and it looked amazing. And when
- 4:03Halloween came, I had changed the outside light
- 4:05to a green light and there were all these trick
- 4:09-or -treaters going around. and Simon said that
- 4:12he drove home and as he turned the corner onto
- 4:15our cul -de -sac and parked up, he said he was
- 4:18shocked because our front door was just mobbed
- 4:21by children. No one else, they weren't going
- 4:24anywhere else, but all these local kids were
- 4:26mobbing our front door for trick or treat, trick
- 4:29or treat, and I loved it. I was just opening
- 4:30the door and the doorbell was going every five
- 4:32seconds. I had to run to the shop, I had to run
- 4:36to the co -op to go and get some more sweets
- 4:39because we'd run out. But yeah, I love it. I
- 4:43think this time of year is so magical. It's so
- 4:45atmospheric. I almost prefer it to Christmas,
- 4:47if I'm honest. It means more. It has more atmosphere,
- 4:49I think. However, Halloween and this spooky season
- 4:55is known for ghosts. It's known for horror films.
- 4:58It's known for bad energies and bad spirits.
- 5:01And this is something I know very little, very
- 5:05little about. I have thought about this and I
- 5:08thought about well if I'm channeling, you know,
- 5:11love and the cliche message when you channel
- 5:16a message for a sitter is your loved ones are
- 5:19sending you love, your loved ones are really
- 5:20proud of you, they're really proud and happy
- 5:22with what you're doing and that sort of thing
- 5:24which is, you know, as it comes through that's
- 5:28how I see it and that's true as to how I see
- 5:30it. But I do often think to myself, well, if
- 5:34it's all positive, there must be a negative.
- 5:36There must be an opposite because my, I don't
- 5:41know if it's my belief or my way of seeing the
- 5:44world is that it's made of vibration. And a vibration
- 5:49is ups and downs. It's ins and outs. It's loud
- 5:53and quiet, hot and cold. So by that law, Does
- 5:58that mean that with the good, there's also the
- 6:01bad? Or the evil? I don't know, but Jono Angelo,
- 6:08my guest today, believes he does know. Jono is
- 6:12someone who has done many paranormal investigations,
- 6:15and when he joined the so -called I go to every
- 6:18Wednesday evening, and when Jono came, he came
- 6:20with someone else, Jaws, and you will meet Jaws
- 6:22in a future episode. But when they came, Nicola
- 6:27came up to me and said, Matt, Jono and Jules,
- 6:31they do paranormal investigations. You should
- 6:32get them onto your podcast. And I was like, all
- 6:34right, Nicola, stop pimping them out. But I didn't
- 6:37really think too much of it. But I was planning
- 6:40my October episode, and I thought, what can I
- 6:44do an episode on that I don't know much about?
- 6:48And I had done an interview with someone else,
- 6:50and that recording is coming out I think in about
- 6:52February time. And they have mentioned something
- 6:55in their episodes about negative entities. And
- 6:59I said, oh, I don't really know. I've not really
- 7:03had any experience of that. She signposted me
- 7:05to some podcasters and some people to look at
- 7:08and to do some reading up on, which I was really
- 7:11grateful for. But I said in the interview, I
- 7:14said in the episode. not really anything I have
- 7:16any experience with and I thought, well, let's
- 7:18do that. Let's talk to someone who has got experience
- 7:22and Jono has been on many, many, many, many investigations
- 7:28and I'm really looking forward for you to hear
- 7:31his experiences. Now, I will caveat this that
- 7:34he says some stuff which, again, still the moment
- 7:37doesn't necessarily resonate with me but that
- 7:39does not mean it's untrue or it doesn't mean
- 7:42that I'm going to poo poo it. I'm here to hear
- 7:45it all. I'm sort of treating this podcast a bit
- 7:47of a pick and mix. You take what you like and
- 7:49you leave what you don't. And I was really interested
- 7:52to speak to Jono So. He does mention a story
- 7:55which he was saying that when he was doing a
- 7:59house clearance, he came into contact with this
- 8:01entity. And he goes into more detail when he
- 8:04talks about it, but he said, they helped this
- 8:06entity cross over, but that he didn't think that
- 8:09they went up. Now that implies that there is
- 8:14a down. Again, at the moment with me, that doesn't
- 8:18necessarily resonate with me, but I'm not going
- 8:20to cut that out. I'm not going to edit that out
- 8:21because it might resonate with you. And this
- 8:25is what this podcast is all about. These episodes
- 8:28are all about giving you a flavor of other people's
- 8:32experience so that you can say, yeah, I like
- 8:35that or no, not sure about that. At least you
- 8:38get to hear other people's points of view. Right,
- 8:43enough of me rambling at you for almost nine
- 8:46minutes now. Let's get to the show. Here is John
- 8:49O 'Angelo talking about paranormal investigations
- 8:51and negative energies. Don't get too scared,
- 8:55but enjoy. Jono Angelo, welcome to the Psychics
- 9:14Flora podcast. Thank you so much for joining
- 9:17me. How are you? I'm really well. Thank you so
- 9:19much for having me. Can I just say this podcast
- 9:22has been going for a year now, a year this October,
- 9:25so my podcast birthday. And you are my very first
- 9:30boy guest, so thank you. Thank you very much
- 9:34for coming on. I'm not gonna make any bones about
- 9:37it. We go to the same circle and as all of my
- 9:42guests, well most of my guests so far have been
- 9:44in our circle. You joined what? About, in my
- 9:48mind, I was thinking about six months ago. Yeah,
- 9:50I don't know, it wasn't that long ago. Yeah,
- 9:53probably April time maybe. Yeah, that sounds
- 9:57about right, yeah. And it very soon became apparent
- 10:02that you knew your stuff. And Nicholas said to
- 10:06me, oh, that Jono over there, he does paranormal
- 10:09investigations. He'd be really good to have on
- 10:11your podcast. But you do. You do do paranormal
- 10:15investigations. And I have a lot of questions
- 10:17about this. So before we get started, I guess
- 10:21I want to just ask, because I will go through
- 10:25the questions about how you got drawn into this
- 10:27and all this sort of stuff. What is your background?
- 10:30How did you start on your psychic journey? I
- 10:33mean my earliest memories were probably when
- 10:35I was two or three years old laying in bed at
- 10:38night and noticing that I was floating above
- 10:45my body and I guess I mean I didn't really know
- 10:49what it was at the time but you know, the ceiling
- 10:53was where my nose was. That's kind of the impression
- 10:56that I was getting. So I had things like that.
- 10:59There were other occasions when, I don't know,
- 11:02I would go to the end of the bed and it was like
- 11:05this, it was this bizarre kind of Narnia thing
- 11:08where it went into another world. I mean, I still
- 11:10sort of see it in my mind's eye now as we talk
- 11:13about it, but those sort of things, there were
- 11:16monsters under the bed that obviously weren't
- 11:18there when my dad would come. And this would
- 11:21be like, you know, eight o 'clock in the morning,
- 11:23Saturday morning, I would see these things under
- 11:25my bed, but again, not really knowing what they
- 11:29were. And then there was an occasion, I don't
- 11:31remember this so well, but probably would have
- 11:35been when I was about five, I would say. It was
- 11:40a Sunday. We'd been to the garden center or something
- 11:43like that with my family. We went back to my
- 11:46grandma's house and she just moved into this
- 11:49new to her council bungalow and I turned around
- 11:54and said, oh, who's that lady in your kitchen
- 11:56window? And obviously there was nobody there,
- 11:59but from what I gathered, the lady that lived
- 12:02in that property beforehand had died in that
- 12:06property. I've kind of got a vague memory of
- 12:08that, but again, I don't know if it's like a
- 12:11memory that's been created from the story I've
- 12:13been told. So that was the early days, I guess.
- 12:19And then fast forward to 2004, I had a family
- 12:24holiday in Australia. I had my very first reading
- 12:28and the lady that I went to see, the psychic
- 12:31medium, she said, you know, you're very, very
- 12:35psychic. You're very sensitive. You should develop.
- 12:38And obviously this got me very excited because,
- 12:40I mean, I've always been interested in ghosts.
- 12:43I remember permanently borrowing the Hamlin book
- 12:46of ghosts from the school library and thinking,
- 12:48you know, why can't I be psychic? You know, reading
- 12:53that book continuously for years. In fact, I
- 12:56have still got it. But yeah, so 2004, she said
- 13:01I was highly psychic and then fast forward a
- 13:03bit bit more. I started seeing this really wonderful
- 13:07lady. I used to go around to her house, pay her
- 13:10a few quid. She would sit smoking cigarettes
- 13:14all night. There would be Dark Side of the Moon
- 13:16playing on the stereo quite loud. Box of Wine
- 13:20on the sideboard. You know, that's the kind of
- 13:22scene that we're going for. She was kind of the
- 13:25first person that... I guess taught me meditation,
- 13:29taught me to tune in. I met my spirit guide for
- 13:33the first time, although at the time I didn't
- 13:36know it was a spirit guide. I thought it was...
- 13:39I actually thought it was St Peter because of
- 13:42the way that it presented. And then I changed
- 13:46jobs. I couldn't go over there anymore. And then
- 13:49I started ghost hunting. And that's kind of,
- 13:53I guess, where it all started. So it sounds to
- 13:56me that unlike my situation, my story where there's
- 14:01a catalyst that happens and then suddenly boom,
- 14:04this thing opens up to me, this opened up to
- 14:07you from a very young age. And it sounds like
- 14:10maybe gradually, but you were definitely in touch
- 14:13with something from a young age. So would you
- 14:16class yourself, and I don't know if this is a
- 14:18taboo phrase to use in our community, I suppose,
- 14:22but a natural psychic. I don't know. I mean,
- 14:27for me, this really has been a slow burn. This
- 14:30hasn't been waking up and all of a sudden, you
- 14:33know, I've got Harry and Martha standing at the
- 14:36end of the bed wanting to pass on a message to
- 14:38their daughter, Rebecca. Quite the contrary,
- 14:41really. But my natural gift is healing. That's
- 14:44my natural gift. And... It wasn't until probably
- 14:48very, very recently, and I mean in the last couple
- 14:51of years, that I realised I was clear cognient.
- 14:55So everything I've learned sitting in circles
- 14:57since probably 2007 or 2008, something like that,
- 15:02that's why it was so difficult, why my journey
- 15:05was so challenging, because I thought I was clairvoyant
- 15:10predominantly, and that just wasn't the case.
- 15:13people to say well just ask for the next bit
- 15:15of information I'm thinking well of course I'm
- 15:17I'm asking for the next piece of information
- 15:18and nothing is coming so that I always found
- 15:22really frustrating but more more recently I found
- 15:25that I'm clear cognient and therefore I've actually
- 15:28the reason why I'm back in circles because I'm
- 15:31having to relearn everything I've ever known
- 15:34because I don't work in the way that I thought
- 15:36I did so it's now trying to adjust you know,
- 15:41how I work so that I'm using that clairvoyance
- 15:44and the psychic connection and whatever else,
- 15:46as well as my main kind of clear cognance. So
- 15:50it's been a bit tricky trying to balance that
- 15:53and find my feet with that. I really love what
- 15:56you're saying there because even though this
- 15:58opened up to you from a very young age, I think
- 16:00the stereotype is that... If that happens to
- 16:03someone, if they are open from a very young age
- 16:05and they're experiencing these things, they are
- 16:07naturally going to be, and forgive me for saying
- 16:10this, but naturally going to be an expert and
- 16:12naturally going to be really good at it from
- 16:14day one. And what you're saying there is actually,
- 16:17it still takes practice for you. It still takes
- 16:20understanding the different rhythms and how this
- 16:23works for you, because what works for you is
- 16:25very different to what will work for me, what
- 16:27will work for someone else. Yeah, absolutely.
- 16:30And the other thing is, you know, what we have
- 16:32to remember is this is like learning a new language,
- 16:35but the language isn't French or German or another
- 16:39language that's fairly similar to English. This
- 16:41is like learning Cantonese. It's very different.
- 16:46The energies are different to our own, although
- 16:50they are similar. So this is a massive journey
- 16:53for the vast majority of people. And I think
- 16:56that's why I wanted to talk to you today because
- 16:59I want it to be really accessible for people.
- 17:03I want them to feel as if I'm not some special
- 17:06person, I'm just a normal chap who happens to
- 17:09work for the NHS who can talk to dead people
- 17:13essentially, for want of a better phrase. It
- 17:16does take work, it does take dedication, but
- 17:19if you do put the work in, you will start to
- 17:22see results. to anybody who's listening that
- 17:24wants to develop things they've got skills, you
- 17:28should do it. Well, on that note, you are here
- 17:32this evening to talk about paranormal investigations.
- 17:37So my first proper question to you, Jono, tonight
- 17:40is what first... drew you into investigating
- 17:44the paranormal and part of the question here
- 17:47is you know were you more of a believer or a
- 17:49skeptic or were you in between but I presume
- 17:51from your history and what you were just saying
- 17:53there that you were a believer beforehand? Yeah
- 17:56I've always been a believer I've always been
- 17:59really fascinated with the paranormal and you
- 18:05know obviously that interest was propelled by
- 18:10borrowing the Hamlin Book of Ghosts. I just loved
- 18:15all the stories and then obviously having watched
- 18:19Most Haunted, really loving that program. I loved
- 18:23Derek Okora, the medium on there. And that's
- 18:25what I liked about that program, the fact that
- 18:26they did an investigation. They had a psychic
- 18:29medium on there who was very good. I know, you
- 18:31know, there have been things in the press about
- 18:34him. But, you know, I have met Derek Okora and
- 18:37I thought he was great. He had a great energy,
- 18:39really nice bloke. His evidence was excellent
- 18:42at the thing that I went to. I don't know, it
- 18:45just put me into that kind of trajectory. It
- 18:47was the easiest way to do all that because at
- 18:50the time, although I'd been told that I was psychic,
- 18:55they didn't have really any kind of concept of
- 18:59how to access that or to develop it. So, you
- 19:04know, that's kind of what got me into the paranormal
- 19:06stuff. Was there a catalyst? Was there something
- 19:10that actually brought you to it? No, I don't
- 19:15think there was it was just it was just something
- 19:17that I I'd always been interested in and an opportunity
- 19:22arose to in fact my friend Vicky said that there
- 19:26was going to be a local public event and You
- 19:30know was I interested in going and I was like,
- 19:32yeah, absolutely So we bought tickets. We went
- 19:34along to this this particular event and I absolutely
- 19:38loved it. I absolutely loved it as with people
- 19:42that were interested in the same thing. It was
- 19:45all very new. It was all very exciting. It was
- 19:48scary as well, you know, because we were in an
- 19:50old building in Norwich and there was activity.
- 19:56What was that like? What was your first paranormal
- 19:58investigation like? So a particular moment I
- 20:04recall we sat in, I'll call it an auditorium
- 20:09for want of a better word, but we sat in this
- 20:12auditorium in a circle on chairs in the dark
- 20:17and I think we must have been doing some sort
- 20:20of seance or something it's a long time ago and
- 20:23I can't really remember but what I do remember
- 20:26is seeing this mist manifest in the dark I could
- 20:33see it but I guess kind of psychically as well
- 20:36as with my with my eyes and a face appeared in
- 20:44the mist, in the smoke, which really made me
- 20:47jump, to be honest with you. I also mentioned
- 20:49it to a person that I was sat next to, who you
- 20:53also know. It was like, gosh, you know, things
- 20:57do really happen when you go on a ghost hunt.
- 21:00So I was just, I was totally hooked. It was,
- 21:03I don't know, it just bamboozled me and it was
- 21:06just so exciting. An adrenaline high. Oh, completely.
- 21:09Absolutely. Yeah. Because when you're watching
- 21:12things like Most Haunted or any of the other
- 21:15programs on the telly, when you're quite young
- 21:17at the time, you think, okay, yeah, I get that
- 21:20these things do exist. But, you know, what's
- 21:24the likelihood of me actually being able to experience
- 21:27that. And on my first paranormal investigation,
- 21:31I did. So I was like, I have to do more of this.
- 21:34And yeah, we did. We went to several events.
- 21:37All right. So you went to your first investigation.
- 21:40Why were you interested? Was it the confirmation
- 21:43of what you felt? Was it the proof side of it?
- 21:48Was it the making contact with another entity?
- 21:51Why? I mean that is really difficult to answer
- 21:55because I don't know it's just like to me it's
- 21:58like asking me well why do you like oranges well
- 22:00I just do you know it was just something that
- 22:02I guess it just resonated with me it was something
- 22:05that is the unknown isn't it it's like UFOs you
- 22:09think about UFOs it's kind of not of this world
- 22:12and I'm just really my brain is really intrigued
- 22:16about things that aren't normal Probably because
- 22:19I because I'm not normal, but you know anything
- 22:22that's kind of out of the ordinary something
- 22:25that's Just not mundane. I just have so much
- 22:29interested. I want to find out more I want to
- 22:31know all about it and the paranormal was just
- 22:35one of those things so To what I can't really
- 22:37answer answer it in in the you know Is that black
- 22:41and white? Yeah, it's not black and white for
- 22:43me. It's just something that, I don't know, just
- 22:45so incredibly interested in it. How many things
- 22:50have you done over the years? It's hard to say,
- 22:54but I mean... I mean, we did them for years and
- 22:58years and years, so... Probably not as many as
- 23:01a hundred but certainly getting towards that
- 23:04figure. I would say Wow, okay. No, that's a lot.
- 23:06That's a lot That's a hundred more than me. Yeah
- 23:10That's good. And so you've done that many but
- 23:14how have your investigation shaped or changed
- 23:17your personal belief systems I suppose the only
- 23:21thing it really has done is change my perspective
- 23:26because When I first started doing these things
- 23:30I did find it scary although it's like super
- 23:32interested But I think because I've been doing
- 23:35it for a number of years now. I've learned a
- 23:37lot about What these different things are? and
- 23:42naturally you do that you come across things
- 23:43in the early days that really are frightening
- 23:45but you do a bit of research it happens again
- 23:48I do a bit more research and then it just once
- 23:51you understand something it's no longer frightening
- 23:54I think so in the vast majority of interactions
- 23:58I've had They are just people that have walked
- 24:02this earth before. They've got a story. They
- 24:05might have had a family. They might have a message
- 24:07that they're trying to get across. They just
- 24:09want to be heard and understood. So I do still
- 24:14believe in God and obviously through the years
- 24:18that belief has strengthened. It hasn't really
- 24:23changed my faith in any way. You know, again,
- 24:26another tricky question, a very good question,
- 24:28Matt. You're welcome. It hasn't really changed
- 24:33my personal belief system because I've always
- 24:35believed in those things. Although having said
- 24:38that, because I am quite scientific in mind,
- 24:41science was always my strongest subject at school,
- 24:44so I always want to test it. I'll be the first
- 24:49person to debunk something if I can, because
- 24:52at the end of the day, the evidence you're getting,
- 24:55you want that to be... tangible, you want it
- 24:59to be perfect. What's the point in just accepting
- 25:04everything as paranormal? Because in most cases,
- 25:06it isn't. I'm glad you said that because I will
- 25:09come on to that in a moment. You mentioned earlier
- 25:12on that there was some controversy around Derek
- 25:14Acora, and for those who don't know, Derek Acora
- 25:17was a very well -known medium on his TV show
- 25:20Most Haunted. And I think the controversy was
- 25:24something along the lines of he came out with
- 25:26this name. and actually this name was an anagram
- 25:29of Derek Acora is a fraud. Yeah, it was something
- 25:32like that, wasn't it? That's what I remember
- 25:35it being. Yeah. It was, yeah, something like
- 25:36that. And the producers had basically fed him
- 25:38this name. And he went in saying, oh, it's this
- 25:41person. And it was like, this is this anagram.
- 25:43So I'm glad that you are saying that scientific
- 25:47or that you asked, you approached this with a
- 25:50scientific base. But I wonder also, before we
- 25:52get to that question, have you ever had a specific
- 25:55experience? that directly challenged what you
- 25:59thought you knew. You said that you went into
- 26:02situations where it scared you, you went away,
- 26:05did some research, you saw or you encountered
- 26:08that thing again, and throughout those different
- 26:11interactions with that thing, whatever that thing
- 26:14is, you understood it more. So have you ever
- 26:16had an experience that directly challenged what
- 26:19you thought you originally knew? The group that
- 26:22I'm involved in went to a house in Lowestoft
- 26:27and there'd been some reported activity in this
- 26:32particular house but it was like quite negative.
- 26:36It felt dark, some of the kind of stuff was quite
- 26:41creepy. We had only just started the investigation.
- 26:45We were in a very small bedroom and it felt different.
- 26:50You walk in the room and it'd feel really heavy,
- 26:52it'd feel oppressive. They had like two single
- 26:56like child -sized beds in it from what I remember
- 26:58and as I walked into the room at the bottom of
- 27:01the beds towards the the beds sort of furthest
- 27:04away from the wall I was stabbed in this in this
- 27:08I think in this in the side of my stomach and
- 27:12I mean I've I have been pushed before on an investigation
- 27:17which was a bit alarming at the time, but this
- 27:20was a proper, a proper, it felt like I was stabbed
- 27:23in the stomach. So much so, you know, obviously
- 27:25I'd made a noise and kind of bent over because
- 27:28it felt, it physically felt as if somebody had
- 27:31properly stabbed me. Wow. And then obviously
- 27:34that feeling, that sensation went away fairly
- 27:36quickly. I invited Jules to come into the room.
- 27:40She's a lady that I work with very closely on
- 27:43these things and people will hear more about
- 27:45her in due course. The exact same thing happened
- 27:49to her as well. So that was quite interesting
- 27:53because you hear about people being touched or
- 27:56prodded or pushed. You don't expect it. Anyway,
- 28:00the interesting thing about this to be very sensitive
- 28:05how I talk about this but it felt as if it was
- 28:09a really negative energy and when we talk about
- 28:13negative energies we we think about things that
- 28:16are of a lower vibration I'm not going to mention
- 28:20the words because I don't like to but the opposite
- 28:23of God and Jesus and all those lovely things
- 28:26all the light stuff the opposite of that so you
- 28:28know when you're watching these programs on telly
- 28:30they're all talking about the big D words aren't
- 28:32they etc And so you sort of think, is it that?
- 28:36Is it that kind of stuff coming in? What it happens
- 28:39to be was a male energy who was unkind to children.
- 28:49I'll put it that way. And this entity was hiding
- 28:54in the basement of this property. Now, it's an
- 28:57old Victorian property with a shop at the bottom.
- 29:00so this is like a three three or four story building
- 29:03really old and this apartment is two or three
- 29:08stories so you've got like the first floor where
- 29:10you've got your kitchen you've got your lounge
- 29:11you've got a spare bedroom then you move up you've
- 29:14got more bedrooms and a bathroom and then you've
- 29:16got like in into the attic you've then got like
- 29:18a another big bedroom in below the actual shop
- 29:22was a seller and this entity was hiding in the
- 29:28cellar because we were really struggling to kind
- 29:30of get this thing to move on. We worked out that
- 29:34it was hiding because of, well, he was hiding
- 29:37because of what he'd done. He didn't want to
- 29:40come to terms. He didn't want to cross over because
- 29:43he didn't want to, I guess, face judgment for
- 29:45the really disgusting things that had happened.
- 29:49What I learned in that moment was that by enticing
- 29:54him with love, despite what he'd done, it was
- 30:02much easier for him to deal with. He was more
- 30:06willing to come forward, he wasn't hiding, and
- 30:11we got him to essentially cross over, although
- 30:16where he went I don't think was up. Oh, you're
- 30:22saying some stuff here, Jono, which is really
- 30:24opening up something which I really want to quiz
- 30:29you more on. And I want to do it in a very respectful
- 30:32way because you know that I am feeling you toward
- 30:36this and I've not formed my belief systems yet
- 30:41about what I do or don't necessarily believe
- 30:43in. I don't know. I've always said, throughout
- 30:46my growing up and throughout my years, I've always
- 30:49said, you'd be really silly to say, yes, something
- 30:53definitely does exist because it's still a slither
- 30:58of you're not quite sure. Equally, you'd be just
- 31:02as arrogant to say, no, it doesn't exist. So
- 31:04I've always sort of lived in that sort of in
- 31:07-between sort of stage. I guess I was always
- 31:10a bit the same, although I've always believed
- 31:12in the afterlife. I guess because of my... years
- 31:16of exposure to various different things, different
- 31:19levels of, you know, vibration, whether it's
- 31:22higher or lower, you know, you start to form
- 31:25a picture on your mind about what you believe
- 31:26because, you know, you base it on what you've
- 31:29experienced, don't you? So I think paranormal
- 31:32investigating would be a great way for you to
- 31:36start forming those opinions. If you're just
- 31:40doing readings, you're just sitting on the kind
- 31:42of the psychic or the mediumship vibration. You're
- 31:45really limiting yourself potentially on what
- 31:49you can experience and I think if we're working
- 31:50in this world, in this field, we need to expose
- 31:55ourselves to all of the different facets that
- 31:58it has because that then helps you to develop
- 32:02a really well -rounded, informed feeling or opinion
- 32:08on what's going on. I'll always caveat this.
- 32:13What I'm talking about comes from my opinion,
- 32:17it comes from my experience. I'm certainly no
- 32:19oracle on these things and there'll be other
- 32:21people that have had completely different experiences
- 32:23doing the same things to myself. So I'm not talking
- 32:28to you saying this is gospel, this is just my
- 32:32experience, this is what I've seen, what I've
- 32:34felt, what I've experienced. Enjoy interpretation.
- 32:38Absolutely, yeah. Okay, for me that makes things
- 32:42much clearer because I was, I'll tell you one
- 32:45thing, I went to a workshop with a very well
- 32:48-known psychic last year and it was really good.
- 32:52I've really enjoyed it, I learnt a lot and I
- 32:54seem to get some really good evidence. But we
- 32:58were sat around and there was this guy who used
- 33:03to be in an old circle that I went to and he
- 33:06was into... house clearances and he was calling
- 33:10them rescue circles and stuff like that and I've
- 33:12always been a bit oh okay not sure how I feel
- 33:15about that and he said this out you know he said
- 33:18this when we were in the in this workshop with
- 33:22this well -known medium and he said oh I do clearances
- 33:27of spirits help them move on and rescue circles
- 33:30and the medium's face sort of scrunched up and
- 33:34said That doesn't exist. I'm really sorry, but
- 33:39that doesn't happen. I disagree. And well, this
- 33:43is it. And there was a straight away, the tension
- 33:45in the room went straight up and I was like,
- 33:48oh, oh, this is awkward because you've got one
- 33:52person who is, like I say, a well -known spiritualist,
- 33:55a well -known medium. And she was saying, no,
- 33:58this definitely does not. He was quite adamant
- 34:01that this sort of stuff did exist. But at the
- 34:05same time, he came out with some really wackadoo
- 34:09ideas during our regular circle, which made me
- 34:11think, oh, that just doesn't resonate with me
- 34:14at the moment. No, and it's just because he's
- 34:16on a different vibration. The vibration that
- 34:19this chap is on is to do rescue circles. I've
- 34:22done rescue work. I've done a lot of rescue work.
- 34:25I've sat in rescue circles before. it does exist
- 34:29in my experience it's just that this chap is
- 34:32on a frequency whereby his calling is to do this
- 34:35because that's his way of serving spirit the
- 34:38person that was saying no it doesn't exist this
- 34:40it's just not there it's not on their vibration
- 34:43at the moment for them to experience that so
- 34:47my next question is going to be and i think this
- 34:50first half is going to be very practical the
- 34:54ins and outs of this sort of stuff My next question
- 34:58is going to be what are they being rescued from?
- 35:02What's the mechanics? What's the practicalities
- 35:08of these people that have died, these souls,
- 35:10these spirits? What's happening to them that's
- 35:14causing them to be stuck? So basically, I guess
- 35:18to put it in layman's terms, the opportunity
- 35:22for them to cross over Has passed essentially
- 35:27so you know when we when we die my belief is
- 35:31that the door opens There might be somebody to
- 35:34come and collect us whether that's a loved one
- 35:36or a spirit guide or an angel or whatever But
- 35:39that that door can't stay open indefinitely And
- 35:43it may be that they choose that they don't at
- 35:45this time want to cross over they may not even
- 35:47realize that they've died And especially if they've
- 35:50had a very traumatic death they may not realise
- 35:53that they've died, they may have unfinished business
- 35:56here, they may have been somebody who's lost
- 36:01a loved one, so for example a mother may not
- 36:04cross over because they've lost their child and
- 36:06they're desperately looking for their child.
- 36:10Usually it's based on trauma, so unfinished business,
- 36:14trauma that has not been resolved and the purpose
- 36:19of a rescue is to communicate with them to let
- 36:26them know that they have died, that they have
- 36:28passed away. To convince them if they want to
- 36:35you can't force them. It's they have free will
- 36:37But the to give them the opportunity to cross
- 36:40over so there are people who are able to Show
- 36:45them the light show them the doorway to take
- 36:48them through that doorway To show them love so
- 36:52that they feel that they're able to leave the
- 36:55physical world and go back home where obviously
- 36:59in most cases their loved one is waiting. And
- 37:02what you can do with that, if you are a psychic
- 37:05medium and you're interested in doing this, when
- 37:09you open the doorway for them, most cases the
- 37:13loved one they're looking for is in the light.
- 37:16So that door opens and you can see that loved
- 37:19one there. So all you've got to do is just guide
- 37:22them to that light and the rest is they just
- 37:25go. quite easily usually sometimes they may want
- 37:29to come back so you have to convince them that
- 37:31if they want to come back they can come back
- 37:33in visitation but actually really they would
- 37:36be better off to to cross over so they can process
- 37:39the things that have happened to them they can
- 37:42heal from any traumas that they've had and then
- 37:45they can ascend and move on and and you know
- 37:48develop as a soul. Okay next question sorry I'm
- 37:52just I'm using this opportunity Jono as as an
- 37:56opportunity to just get all these questions I've
- 37:58had running around in my head for the past year
- 38:01or two thinking well surely this is if you would
- 38:05be so bold and just let me just say something
- 38:08a theory that I have so you mentioned a minute
- 38:12ago the d word you don't want to mention the
- 38:16full word which I'm intrigued by that in itself
- 38:19but anyway About 18 months or so ago, we had
- 38:24some herbs around the house, shall we say. Were
- 38:28you smoking them? No, we did put them in some
- 38:32chocolate, which... And I have always said, whenever
- 38:36I do weed, and this is not an endorsement, but
- 38:39anyone to do weed, so I will just put that out
- 38:41there as a disclaimer. If it's illegal in your
- 38:43country, please don't do it, but, you know, you're
- 38:47an adult and not that lot. Whenever I recently
- 38:51whenever I've done it it takes me to another
- 38:53world like literally like suddenly my mind goes
- 38:56and I just I seem to understand the universe
- 38:59and the last time I did it was about 18 months
- 39:01ago this concept of vibration just came to me
- 39:05like everything is a vibration there's a yin
- 39:10to every yang And I thought, well, if I take
- 39:13that literally, like, if there is so many loving
- 39:16spirits out there who watch over us and they
- 39:18do all this sort of stuff, whatever that concept
- 39:21might be, surely there must be a negative as
- 39:23well. But that very rarely gets spoken about
- 39:27unless it's in a horror film sort of setting.
- 39:30Yeah, absolutely. You know, there is always an
- 39:36opposite. If you have light, there is dark. if
- 39:40you have warmth you have cold so there's always
- 39:42an opposite and the reason why we have that in
- 39:45my opinion is to allow us to fully understand
- 39:49to fully appreciate the extremes you know you
- 39:52can't feel pure true love unless you can also
- 39:57understand and feel hate otherwise it wouldn't
- 40:01necessarily feel like love it would just feel
- 40:02like Well, it would just feel like nothing in
- 40:06particular. So you need those extremes You need
- 40:08the dry you need the wet you need the cold you
- 40:10need the warm all of those things help us to
- 40:12understand and appreciate and get to grips with
- 40:16What what reality is or our perceived reality
- 40:21in this lifetime? So what are? These negative
- 40:27forces are they spirit what? What are they? Your
- 40:33question has a complex answer because you've
- 40:38got energies which have never been human and
- 40:42these are energies that can be formed from an
- 40:46amalgamation of negative thoughts, negative energy,
- 40:51so somebody being murdered creates a negative
- 40:54footprint. You could have somebody just putting
- 40:59negative thoughts out there, I hate myself, you're
- 41:02a horrible person, blah blah blah. You can't
- 41:05destroy energy, energy just moves on to a different
- 41:08place. When you have all of that energy coming
- 41:11together, think of a war zone for example, you'd
- 41:13probably find there's an awful lot of, I'll use
- 41:18the D word, there may be a lot of demonic activity
- 41:21in somewhere like a war zone because of the suffering
- 41:25that's going on there. the hatred, all of those
- 41:29really horrible low energy vibrations coming
- 41:33together, so you've got those sort of energies,
- 41:35so they become something that can portray itself
- 41:40in a way that it wants to, so almost like a shape
- 41:43-shifter maybe, so it can change form. You've
- 41:46got people that have been or done negative things
- 41:50when they were on Earth in a human form, and
- 41:53people, let's say, you know, people like murderers,
- 41:55for example. They obviously they have been human
- 42:00instead of turning to God They can work for the
- 42:03the devil or Satan or whatever you want to call
- 42:05it. It's complicated There's lots of different
- 42:08things and then you've got like elemental energy.
- 42:11So this is this is kind of I guess this probably
- 42:15goes back to like Celtic or pagan times or something
- 42:18like that Elemental energies tends to be and
- 42:22they're not always negative but things like imps
- 42:24for example They are there really to protect
- 42:28the earth, to help the land, to help Mother Nature,
- 42:32but they can be a little bit mischievous almost.
- 42:35So sometimes those things can come across as
- 42:38being negative. They can do negative things,
- 42:40they can trick you. They're not necessarily nasty,
- 42:44but yeah, they can come across that way. Are
- 42:52you scared yet? Are you terrified? I am really
- 42:56curious to hear what you think of what Jono is
- 42:58saying. I still am not sure where I'm at yet,
- 43:02if I'm honest, but I am looking forward to finding
- 43:05out more. Just an usual podcast admin, if you
- 43:09like what you are hearing, if you have liked
- 43:11the past couple of episodes, I would really appreciate...
- 43:14some support by either following me, liking it,
- 43:18subscribing, whatever it is you feel you are
- 43:20able to do, I would really appreciate it. You
- 43:23can find me on Instagram, threads, Facebook,
- 43:26and TikTok, although you won't find me twerking
- 43:29on it, thank goodness, at the .psychic .explorer.
- 43:34Find me there. I would love to hear your feedback.
- 43:38I would love to hear what you think, if you can
- 43:40think of any improvements I might make. I'm open
- 43:43to it. So without me blabbering on anymore, let's
- 43:46get back to Jono and his paranormal investigations.
- 43:55Okay, Jono, let's go back to the mechanics of
- 43:58this paranormal investigating then. Do you think
- 44:01that science can ultimately explain paranormal
- 44:03activity? Or are there some things that are just
- 44:08beyond measurement? Well, the technology that
- 44:16we're able to access now in paranormal investigations
- 44:20is certainly improving. I mean, when I first
- 44:22started, we'd go out with a thermometer, a dictaphone,
- 44:29and probably an EMF meter, and that was pretty
- 44:32much it. And even those things, you had to pay
- 44:34a bit of money for. Nowadays, you've got... all
- 44:38sorts of equipment you've got Frank's boxes which
- 44:41scan radio frequencies in a particular manner
- 44:45so that they kind of almost generate white noise
- 44:48and you know you can hear live interactions with
- 44:53ghosts so I don't think it can I think you need
- 44:59I think you need You need somebody who is able
- 45:03to communicate with them, i .e. a medium, and
- 45:08using the information that a medium can pick
- 45:10up, as well as kind of the scientific stuff so
- 45:15that you can... Because obviously science is
- 45:17a man -made way of, I guess, testing natural
- 45:21things, isn't it? So, no, I don't think it can
- 45:25ultimately prove the paranormal, but I think
- 45:29it will help. certain people understand it in
- 45:32a better way, people that may not be using their
- 45:35gifts, if that would make sense. Yeah, no, that
- 45:38makes sense. Because I always wonder, like, you
- 45:40know, given science enough time, it's going to
- 45:44be able to explain everything, but... Some stuff,
- 45:46though, we're just not meant to know. It would
- 45:48not serve a purpose for us to know or understand
- 45:52that in this lifetime. Obviously, the theory
- 45:55is that when we go back home and we cross over
- 45:58when we die, we would know, we would have that
- 46:02knowing and that knowledge. So we don't necessarily,
- 46:04that's why we would forget it when we, when we're,
- 46:06you know, coming back here to have this physical
- 46:08experience because we don't need to know those
- 46:11things. So you were talking about EMS, there
- 46:14are frank boxes, which are not underwear. Do
- 46:17you say underwear? Yeah, frank boxes. I just
- 46:25got what you were saying. What role do those
- 46:27tools have? in your investigations, I know you've
- 46:31explained a little bit about the France boxes,
- 46:34but how do you use them to ensure that you approach
- 46:37spirits respectfully? I mean these are really
- 46:40important things because we're looking to build
- 46:43up a picture of the evidence, any evidence that
- 46:47we're able to collect, we want to be able to
- 46:50say that we've used this particular device, which
- 46:52is a trusted and known piece of equipment. We
- 46:57want to use that alongside any information that
- 47:00we've gotten from one of the mediums or the psychic
- 47:03mediums there that we've got. I guess we want
- 47:06to know that if we're going to go back to that
- 47:09location and we found a particular piece of information,
- 47:13can that be replicated? Because if it can, does
- 47:16it? there's a reason that it can be replicated
- 47:19because it's paranormal or is it for some other
- 47:21reason. So it just gives you a good basis to
- 47:23start from. In terms of respect, I mean, you
- 47:28have got to show respect. If you think about
- 47:30it, if you walked into, let's say you walked
- 47:33into a social club, okay, you've never been there
- 47:36before. It's in a part of England or a part of
- 47:39the world that you've never been to before in
- 47:41your life. You don't know the culture, you don't
- 47:43know the people. If you walked in there and said,
- 47:47and started shouting and screaming at them, what
- 47:49do you think the response is going to be? They're
- 47:51either going to tell you to go away or they're
- 47:55going to hide and run. And the whole point of
- 47:58doing this is that we're there to communicate,
- 48:00we're there to be respectful and showing love,
- 48:03showing kindness, showing respect, speaking to
- 48:06them in a way that you would want to be spoken
- 48:09to if you were a spirit or even as a normal person.
- 48:12You tend to get better results. As you're talking,
- 48:17I'm really making myself question things that
- 48:21regular listeners will know that I listen to
- 48:23podcasts all day every day about all sorts of
- 48:25things. And a lot of the things I have heard
- 48:29about this sort of stuff so far, you know, after
- 48:32life, it's full of love, it's very light, it's
- 48:35very, you know, it's all about going back home.
- 48:40It's about becoming... almost all -knowing, omnipotent
- 48:46almost, you're talking about these spirits, these
- 48:52people who have not moved on, but you're talking
- 48:55about, and I mean, again, when I say this, Jono,
- 48:58I mean this with respect to you, but I'm just
- 49:00conscious of how it might sound, but you're talking
- 49:03about them as if they still are in their mindset
- 49:08of when they're in their living body. And I guess
- 49:10in my head, when you die from what I have heard
- 49:15and again I don't know I've not experienced it
- 49:18yet not this time around anyway but once you
- 49:22leave your body you're sort of I guess you would
- 49:24say some of them don't always go back home because
- 49:26they are stuck here I guess with that does that
- 49:30mean that they are also stuck with their mindset
- 49:32of their humanness? I think that is the case
- 49:37yeah because They haven't transitioned, they
- 49:39haven't gone back home, they haven't then had
- 49:41that life review where they can experience what
- 49:44they put upon people, understand how that made
- 49:48those people feel, they haven't had that kind
- 49:51of moment to reflect. So although they're not
- 49:55in a physical body, they still feel that they
- 50:01are. So they're still living that life, they
- 50:03just don't necessarily know that they're not
- 50:05in the physical world. But also it's complicated
- 50:09because they may choose to not want to go back
- 50:12because they don't want to fess up to things,
- 50:15they don't want to hit that head on, even though
- 50:19they know they're not in their body anymore.
- 50:21But I still think, based on what I've experienced,
- 50:26that they still have that mindset, if that makes
- 50:31sense. It's complicated. There isn't an answer
- 50:34for... there isn't an all -encompassing answer
- 50:37because I'll see these things will depend on
- 50:40the individual. And that's the other thing, these
- 50:43things that we're talking about are fairly subjective.
- 50:45We were saying earlier on that you have your
- 50:47point of view, somebody else listening to this
- 50:49will have their point of view. Absolutely. And
- 50:52I guess we won't know until we get there ourselves.
- 50:54But what you're saying actually makes a lot,
- 50:56and thank you for bearing with me, I know that
- 50:58I sound like I'm a right div with this sort of
- 51:01stuff. I'm literally just sort of thinking out
- 51:03loud because sometimes it takes me to talk to
- 51:06someone like you who has plenty of experience
- 51:09with this world or with this sort of thing to
- 51:12make me think, oh okay, maybe it doesn't work
- 51:15quite like I was thinking, maybe there's another
- 51:17element and actually when you're explaining that,
- 51:19that explains it to me. and makes it make much
- 51:22more sense to me. It's just not black and white,
- 51:24that's the problem. So I can give you an example
- 51:27of something but you know that's not necessarily
- 51:29the case each and every time and this is why
- 51:32we like to use the equipment because it builds
- 51:35up a picture scientifically but also it might
- 51:37back up something that a psychic is picking up
- 51:40or also the psychic might pick something up that
- 51:42the equipment isn't able to so it gives you a
- 51:45broad a broader perspective but there isn't just
- 51:48a that's black and that's white and that's yellow
- 51:51and that's red is incredibly complicated. Really
- 51:56for you Matt you need to experience a paranormal
- 51:59investigation to be able to start to understand
- 52:03it. Well buckle up listeners because there might
- 52:06be something coming up. Let's get back to the
- 52:13questions though before I tease that some more
- 52:17to the dear listeners. We are recording this,
- 52:20well, this is going out in October. This is our
- 52:23Halloween. This is my Halloween editions. Halloween
- 52:27is said to be the time of year when the veil,
- 52:30whatever that means, is thinner. What are your
- 52:34personal beliefs around this season? There are
- 52:38a number of different beliefs regarding Halloween.
- 52:40I think the pagans or Celtics believed or celebrated
- 52:45that as a... I think it was the Samhain festival,
- 52:49which marked the end of harvest and the beginning
- 52:51of winter. Personally, I'm more aligned with,
- 52:54I guess, a spiritualist belief in that the veil
- 52:57becomes thinner between this world and the next.
- 53:02I just love the, I love the kind of the Americanism,
- 53:05the celebration, the spookiness, you know, the
- 53:09parties, all the decorations, watching a scary
- 53:13movie with friends, that's what I like. But yeah,
- 53:17for me it's like, it is a time where you could
- 53:20do a paranormal investigation and probably have
- 53:24quite a lot of activity. Having said that, it
- 53:29can also be you know, a great time to do a paranormal
- 53:32investigation if you've got a full moon, because
- 53:34the energies are stronger. So yeah, that's my
- 53:38belief. It's, you know, the veil is thinner,
- 53:40potential to interact with a vaster spectrum
- 53:45of spirits, because I guess also the ambience
- 53:49around Halloween is that it is spooky and frightening.
- 53:54your senses are heightened as well. So yeah,
- 53:57it's a great time to get out there and investigate.
- 54:01Well on that note, I am actually going to be
- 54:05doing an investigation with your good friend
- 54:07Jules and she has agreed for me to come along
- 54:10and record a paranormal investigation. So that
- 54:13will be going out in December. Listen up for
- 54:17that guys because I'm really looking forward
- 54:19to that and we'll have a chat with Jules as well
- 54:21after that too. sort of analyse what happened
- 54:24and John I think you're going to be there as
- 54:27a sort of a silent partner you'll be the one
- 54:28in the background doing the technical stuff I
- 54:30think is that right? Yeah I'm going to be doing
- 54:32some technical stuff on that investigation I
- 54:35mean if I if I pick up psychically then obviously
- 54:38I'll use that information to assist the investigation
- 54:42but yeah you're going to be dealing mainly with
- 54:45the oracle that is Jules Bailey so you're in
- 54:49very safe hands with her. I'm looking forward
- 54:52to it. I've not done anything like this before
- 54:54in my life, so I'm really looking forward to
- 54:56it. Thank you so, so much, Jono. I feel like
- 55:00I have learned a heck of a lot. You said some
- 55:02things that are wrong, which didn't necessarily
- 55:04resonate with me originally, but actually the
- 55:06more I sit with it, the more it sort of makes
- 55:08sense. So thank you for giving me your point
- 55:11of view. And again, I urge anyone who has questions
- 55:14about this sort of thing to ask questions, to
- 55:17take in as much information as you can, and based
- 55:19on your own experiences, go forward with that
- 55:23with with make your opinion with the experiences
- 55:26that you have okay before i let you go jonno
- 55:31i've got a few quick fire questions for you i've
- 55:33not sent these to you so these are off the cuff
- 55:35okay sorry to spring this on you it's halloween
- 55:41what is your favorite horror or halloween film
- 55:48Do you know what, I really like the Poltergeist
- 55:51franchise. And the reason I love that, I mean
- 55:54I love Stephen King stuff, but the reason I particularly
- 55:58love that one is because when I'm watching that
- 56:01film, all the ghosts are coming in, all the spirits
- 56:04are starting to come in, everything on me is
- 56:08tingling, I can feel the energy in the room.
- 56:10So that for me is a great film because... They're
- 56:14in the room with me, you know? They're literally
- 56:16there here. Literally. If you could invite three
- 56:23spirits, ghosts or historical figures to join
- 56:26you for a Halloween seance, who would you pick?
- 56:31I would pick Jack the Ripper. Keep it light.
- 56:37Keep it light, yeah. I would also probably pick...
- 56:44For Halloween crikey. Oh god, you do throw these
- 56:47tricky questions at me. I would also pick I Think
- 56:54it was Leslie Neal's is it Leslie Nielsen from
- 56:57the naked gun? Yes, that's awesome. Brilliant.
- 57:00I love that because he's he's funny and I'd probably
- 57:04throw in a wild card George Michael Oh Because
- 57:12I love George Michael. You know what, you do
- 57:16give George Michael vibes with your beards, actually.
- 57:19I do, I'm growing it at the moment because I'm
- 57:21going bald, so I'm moving from the top to the
- 57:25bottom. Right, third quickfire question and final
- 57:31one, you'll be happy to hear this final one.
- 57:33If you could ask the spirit world one single
- 57:36question and be guaranteed a clear answer, what
- 57:40would you ask? When am I going to win the lottery?
- 57:45Now, I'm joking. I would ask, what is the meaning
- 57:49of life? Although I think I know the answer to
- 57:53that, but that's probably what I would ask. Very
- 57:57good. Thank you, Jono. Where can people find
- 57:59you? I know that you have another podcast. You
- 58:02have a podcast with your friend, Rob Morgan.
- 58:06called the Psychic Unplugged, which has just
- 58:08launched, and I listened to that yesterday, it's
- 58:10very good by the way. So what's the plan around
- 58:13that one then? Yeah, so Rob is a really, really
- 58:17close friend of mine and again, he's a psychic,
- 58:21he's a scientist at heart. He's a high band in
- 58:28the NHS, you know, very scientifically minded,
- 58:31very... kind of practical person, but he is really
- 58:35interested in, I guess, spirits, paranormal stuff,
- 58:39that kind of thing. I went to visit him, I mean
- 58:42he's known about what I've done for forever,
- 58:46but I went to see him, he lives in Bristol, went
- 58:48to see him in December last year, and I had the
- 58:54feeling that he is a really good medium, he just
- 58:58doesn't know it yet. And so I did some mediumship
- 59:01with them, they had a friend over, and I got
- 59:05Rob to tune in and pick up on a random spirit
- 59:10that needed our help. Again, bit of a rescue
- 59:13actually. And he was able with my guidance to...
- 59:20do mediumship to do this. So that sparked his
- 59:24interest and he contacted me and he said, I've
- 59:28got loads of questions about being psychic, ghosts,
- 59:33doing mediumship, healing, all of that stuff,
- 59:36it really fascinates me. But I want to do it
- 59:38from a layman's point of view. So that's what
- 59:40it is. So Rob is the layman. He's asking me as
- 59:44many questions as he can in this series, and
- 59:47I'm just going to answer them as best as I can.
- 59:50I guess from my point of view, as I said earlier,
- 59:53I'm not the expert on any of these things, but
- 59:56I just speak from my experience, how I see things.
- 1:00:00And from that, hopefully, it will inspire others
- 1:00:04to... jump in and start their own journey. Yeah.
- 1:00:09Brilliant. Thank you very much, Jono. Really
- 1:00:13happy to have you on this episode of The Psychic
- 1:00:16Explorer, my first boy guest for my year anniversary
- 1:00:19episode. Thank you very much, Jono. Thank you,
- 1:00:22Matt. The very spooky Jono Angelo with his explanations
- 1:00:42on paranormal investigations and negative entities.
- 1:00:45Thank you so much, Jono. I really appreciated
- 1:00:48his insight in that episode. Like I said, there's
- 1:00:51still some stuff which I'm not sure about just
- 1:00:54because I personally haven't experienced it.
- 1:00:56But as I said in that interview, I sort of sit
- 1:00:59on the fence. I'm not gonna put my toe fully
- 1:01:02in, yes it does, and I'm not gonna put my toe
- 1:01:04in, no it definitely doesn't, until I have experienced
- 1:01:07it. So we shall see if this paranormal investigation
- 1:01:12that I will be participating in reveals anything.
- 1:01:16I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward
- 1:01:20to this. I have been re -listening to my favorite
- 1:01:22spooky podcast to try and just get myself in
- 1:01:25the mind frame of an investigation you've seen.
- 1:01:29or feeling or, I don't know, sensing something
- 1:01:33on that investigation. There might be absolutely
- 1:01:35nothing and that is absolutely fine. But whatever
- 1:01:39we get, I will bring it to you. That is going
- 1:01:42to be the winter solstice edition. So look out
- 1:01:46for that in December. I cannot wait to bring
- 1:01:49that to you. And of course, I will be having
- 1:01:51a chat with Jules Bailey, who will be conducting...
- 1:01:56facilitating, I guess, the paranormal investigation
- 1:01:59that I'll be on. So yeah, just cannot wait, looking
- 1:02:02forward to that. Right, this episode has gone
- 1:02:04over the 60 -minute mark, so I want to keep this
- 1:02:06very, very brief. I just want to say thank you
- 1:02:10to you. If you have been listening this whole
- 1:02:13time... since I started back in October last
- 1:02:17year. Just thank you for your support. The occasional
- 1:02:21comments I get through, the occasional follows
- 1:02:24I get through, honestly, each and every one of
- 1:02:27them means the world to me. You'll remember from
- 1:02:31my episode two, red car, yellow car, brackets,
- 1:02:35validation, where yes, I overused the word validation.
- 1:02:39ever so slightly, but I do enjoy validation.
- 1:02:43I put the episode for Scotland together and it
- 1:02:47took so long. I really got in my head when I
- 1:02:51put that online. I was thinking, is it worth
- 1:02:54it? If I'm going to level with you guys, and
- 1:02:57this podcast is all about being honest, my listenership
- 1:03:01is quite low, to the point where I was thinking.
- 1:03:05Is this even worth it? Like the time and the
- 1:03:08effort that I put into producing these episodes,
- 1:03:11I was really considering just stopping because
- 1:03:14I was just thinking, is it even worth the time
- 1:03:16and effort? I've always put these episodes out
- 1:03:18with the mind frame of whoever needs these is
- 1:03:21going to find them. And I'm not. comparing myself
- 1:03:25to other very successful podcasts. I'm not trying
- 1:03:28to compare myself to other people who might fly
- 1:03:31with this sort of thing, who might even come
- 1:03:34really naturally to. I'm trying not to compare
- 1:03:37myself to them but it is hard and a comparison
- 1:03:39is a thief of joy and I was really feeling that
- 1:03:44theft of my joy when I put that last episode
- 1:03:48out for Scotland. And just as I, and it's so
- 1:03:53weird how these things work because I felt it
- 1:03:56a few times where I thought, is it worth it?
- 1:03:59I don't think it's worth it. And every time I
- 1:04:01felt that pang of disappointment, I guess, someone
- 1:04:08messaged me. I had a couple of messages come
- 1:04:10through and each of those messages to those people,
- 1:04:14one of them, you know who you are because we
- 1:04:17had a bit of a back and forth about this. But
- 1:04:20just want to say thank you so much for your support.
- 1:04:23Thank you so much for reaching out and telling
- 1:04:25me that these episodes make a difference to your
- 1:04:29days. It just warms my heart beyond measure.
- 1:04:35I cannot tell you how much that means to me.
- 1:04:38And it just validates that I am putting these
- 1:04:41episodes out for the right reason. Those people
- 1:04:43who need it will find it. So... On that note,
- 1:04:50I will leave it because this episode has gone
- 1:04:51on way too much. However, my goodness me, I am
- 1:04:54rubbing my hands and I cannot wait for the next
- 1:04:58episode. Jono is rejoining me to listen to your
- 1:05:04ghost stories. The stories that you have sent
- 1:05:07in, my wonderful, dear listeners, you have so
- 1:05:11very generously sent me. Some of your stories
- 1:05:15and Jono and I are going to listen to these live
- 1:05:17and we're going to discuss them. Uncanny style,
- 1:05:22so cannot wait for that. I'm going to love you
- 1:05:25and leave you. I will speak to you in a couple
- 1:05:27of weeks where we discuss your ghost stories.
- 1:05:30Love you all. Take care. Bye.
