- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marximoniaor.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, we'll take some calls eight hundred three to two
- 0:12Speaker 2: one zero seven tennis. Remember, let's go to Andy in Brooklyn, Andy.
- 0:17Speaker 2: What's it like in Brooklyn right now? Let of snow
- 0:21Speaker 2: on the ground, A lot of snow in the.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Streets, and you can't you know, it's part of the
- 0:26Speaker 1: reason I'm calling you. You know, every time you call
- 0:29Speaker 1: three one one, they tell you all that and it's
- 0:31Speaker 1: side of the street. Parking is suspended. But they always say,
- 0:36Speaker 1: ye still have to feed the meter. And maybe you
- 0:40Speaker 1: know why they do that. You can't even find the
- 0:44Speaker 1: car let alone the meter in a in a thing
- 0:48Speaker 1: like this, you have any idea why they just don't
- 0:52Speaker 1: cancel both.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's called money, it's called revenue. They want you
- 0:56Speaker 2: to feed the meter. That way, they can send you
- 0:58Speaker 2: a ticket if you don't feed it. Obviously, right now,
- 1:00Speaker 2: you can't find the meter. And do they still have
- 1:03Speaker 2: parking meters anywhere? I guess they do. I mean they haven't,
- 1:06Speaker 2: but you don't pay you There's no such thing as
- 1:08Speaker 2: putting a quarter in the parking meter anymore. You got
- 1:10Speaker 2: to use the app. And how many of these do
- 1:13Speaker 2: I have? In my phone. Wherever you go, it's a
- 1:15Speaker 2: different app. If you're in Connecticut, it's this one park Mobile.
- 1:20Speaker 2: If you're somewhere else it's Park NYC. You're gonna have
- 1:24Speaker 2: all these different apps. Passport parking. That one works in
- 1:27Speaker 2: a Long Islands a lot. Let's go to Rich in
- 1:30Speaker 2: Myrtle Beach. Rich, How you doing pretty good?
- 1:33Speaker 3: No snow, but it does feel like twenty two degrees
- 1:36Speaker 3: down here, so we got the cold air.
- 1:37Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So you're in Myrtle Beach. You ever get a lot
- 1:40Speaker 2: of snow. You don't get snow there, do you?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we did. We had five inches last month and
- 1:44Speaker 3: stuck around for a day. Two last year we had
- 1:47Speaker 3: five or six inches. That's stuck around for almost a week.
- 1:49Speaker 3: But you know, they have a little clown call with
- 1:51Speaker 3: a shovel on it, and that's their their plows, and
- 1:55Speaker 3: you know it actually just shuts down the entire state
- 1:58Speaker 3: when something like that happens.
- 1:59Speaker 2: You know, well, we got fifteen inches in New York,
- 2:02Speaker 2: eighteen inches in the suburbs, two feet in the south
- 2:05Speaker 2: shore of Long Island.
- 2:06Speaker 3: So that's why I used to live in Long Beach
- 2:08Speaker 3: and Atlantic Beach. I'd probably have two feet of snow
- 2:10Speaker 3: right now. You know, I sit around and just watch it. Melt.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I used to like shoveling snow, even when I was
- 2:15Speaker 3: in my fifties. I made money shoveling snow.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Come up here. You can get nineteen dollars and forty
- 2:20Speaker 2: cents an hour from Mamdani.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Oh, I'm trying to have to show two forms of
- 2:25Speaker 3: ID even though I don't need one to vote. That's
- 2:27Speaker 3: pretty unbelievable. I saw that in the news the other day.
- 2:29Speaker 3: You have to have two forms of ID to shovel
- 2:32Speaker 3: snow for twelve dollars an hour, but you don't have
- 2:34Speaker 3: to have one to vote up there. You know, Hey,
- 2:36Speaker 3: I'm watching the news here, Mark, And you know they
- 2:39Speaker 3: killed this drug cartel kingpin in Mexico who was an
- 2:42Speaker 3: ex cop by the way. All right, so seven of
- 2:44Speaker 3: the cartel's just taking the loss, putting somebody else in
- 2:47Speaker 3: charge and keep pumping out the drugs. Now they want
- 2:49Speaker 3: to just make themselves be known, and now they want
- 2:51Speaker 3: to burn half of Mexico and not just going to
- 2:53Speaker 3: make things worse for them. You figured they would have
- 2:55Speaker 3: learned by now, you know.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's quite a situation. You know, you could be
- 2:58Speaker 2: in New York City visit staying here in a hotel.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You get caught in the snowstorm. Airports are closed. You
- 3:03Speaker 2: can't get out. You could be down in Florida. Ooh, hurricane,
- 3:08Speaker 2: You're stuck. You can't get out. These people are in
- 3:11Speaker 2: this town in Mexico and some drug cartel guy shoots
- 3:14Speaker 2: the leader of the other drug cartel, like the Hector Salamanca,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and all hell breaks loose. This cartel members all over
- 3:23Speaker 2: the streets of this town shooting at everybody, blowing up buses, shooting,
- 3:27Speaker 2: and so everybody is told they can't leave their hotel.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It's too dangerous. Even the State Department puts out an
- 3:33Speaker 2: announcement shelter in place for Americans. Tourists have been warned
- 3:37Speaker 2: to state indoors. Narco gangs cartels are on a rampage
- 3:43Speaker 2: following the death of the drug kingpin. The one person
- 3:46Speaker 2: reporting a bus was going by totally on fire. They're bombing, killing, shooting.
- 3:51Speaker 2: All of this is a nice Mexico resort town. Let's
- 3:55Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing? Wait
- 3:59Speaker 2: ant there you go, Vincent, How you doing?
- 4:02Speaker 4: I'm okay? Considering the fact that I was up until
- 4:06Speaker 4: four o'clock in the morning trying to keep my front
- 4:09Speaker 4: door clear so I could open it. Now, I can
- 4:13Speaker 4: you hear me, Mark, Yeah, so you can open No,
- 4:17Speaker 4: I can't. I can't open up my front door. And
- 4:22Speaker 4: thank the Lord, I have enough food in my house
- 4:24Speaker 4: for the next week. I cannot open my front door.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I was up until four o'clock in the morning, going
- 4:30Speaker 4: out every hour just so I could not even just
- 4:33Speaker 4: swing it open, that's all. And now I can't. I
- 4:38Speaker 4: can't open the market. It's terrible over here.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Wow, you're like under house arrest.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Nothing personally exactly, and I have I have a steel
- 4:46Speaker 4: door of my house. I have bars on my window.
- 4:49Speaker 4: So it's like it's like I'm a prison of my
- 4:53Speaker 4: own making and Mother Nature's making. Oh. By the way,
- 4:57Speaker 4: I want to give a plug out to the seat
- 5:00Speaker 4: Crade Radio three because that's what I was listening to,
- 5:04Speaker 4: aside from looking at the weather. At eleven o'clock to
- 5:09Speaker 4: track the storm, I put on the weather channel on
- 5:12Speaker 4: the Seat Raiden radio and it is great. It is
