  [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Tara.
• 0:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: Happy birthday, almost.
• 0:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, thank you.
• 0:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's my birthday party day, I realize.
• 0:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
• 0:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, right.
• 0:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
• 0:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Tonight you're going to do your birthday party and have everybody stay up till midnight.
• 0:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
• 0:31
[SPEAKER_00]: So when this is airing, it's my birthday party.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Because last year, Tuesday was my birthday.
• 0:37
[SPEAKER_00]: But this year, I want to throw a New Year's Eve themed birthday party.
• 0:41
[SPEAKER_00]: So everyone is going to count down to midnight, too.
• 0:43
[SPEAKER_00]: My new year, which is technically tomorrow.
• 0:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, technically tomorrow, but it's a very important birthday to your double golden birthday.
• 0:50
[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about this with our vicious trowel ups last week.
• 0:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, we did a live and it was, I love, I feel like we've been counting down to this birthday since we met.
• 0:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, can I tell you, I didn't think I was being that vocal about it, but I was telling Miranda who does my hair.
• 1:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, she's like, oh, yeah, it's your double golden birthday.
• 1:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, okay.
• 1:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: So you knew this.
• 1:10
[SPEAKER_00]: And then my new nail tech rosey.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, oh, right.
• 1:13
[SPEAKER_00]: It's your double golden birthday.
• 1:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I just want you.
• 1:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: We've just met.
• 1:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: We've just met.
• 1:16
[SPEAKER_00]: How do you remember this?
• 1:17
[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess I've been talking about it.
• 1:19
[SPEAKER_00]: But like, it's not it's a thing I made up, but it's really because when I was three, that was my golden birthday.
• 1:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Cause my birthday's on the third of course.
• 1:26
[SPEAKER_00]: didn't do anything for it.
• 1:28
[SPEAKER_00]: What was my birthday then?
• 1:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 1:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it was probably when you were the poof-eemed because, you know, so now that I'm older and wiser maybe, it's available.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to have another golden birthday because I'm turning 33, but you know that's a big number for me, born on the third, third in my family of four,
• 1:47
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just feels right, you know, it feels right totally.
• 1:50
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm having a golden theme birthday.
• 1:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting a gold birthday cake, of course.
• 1:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously you might be giving all of my family gifts for my birthday with little letters about why they've made my life golden.
• 2:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm having Hayley trivia, which they don't know about yet, I'm really excited.
• 2:07
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a fun time.
• 2:09
[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like this is like a big moment for us because what is this like the fourth year of doing birthday week?
• 2:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Because my birthday is this week, tears birthday is of course next week.
• 2:21
[SPEAKER_00]: So it just feels like a fun, I don't know, like it really feels like a tradition at this point to do.
• 2:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the birthday we.
• 2:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we have built a lot of traditions on this podcast, which I love.
• 2:31
[SPEAKER_02]: There's always kind of like a formula that I'm trying to show on.
• 2:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's really great because we can kind of anticipate, oh, this is the week that we usually do X, Y, Z. I love that.
• 2:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you guys do, too.
• 2:43
[SPEAKER_00]: but it's pretty weak and that feels very Gilmore girls of us so yeah it is we should like have Malamar's on the table take the one from the cabinet to put it back and replace it so you don't mess it up yeah we're not sure about the big bowl of mac and cheese um admittedly yeah it seems we're very into the Sephora trip that definitely have to know about that one yeah which with the rewatch club we're actually going to be watching that next week so next Friday that one comes out but if you guys are on the rewatch club with us
• 3:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I have just been so, like, gigally, maybe, or is that a silly time?
• 3:17
[SPEAKER_00]: There was one recently, and actually, no, it comes out on this Friday.
• 3:20
[SPEAKER_00]: It was Swan Song because, of course, Jessica's beat, but then Tara pointed out that when Rory and Jess go into Richard Study, and he sees the portrait of Rory on the wall and he goes, now I've seen it all, and you're like, you've seen Rory once before, what?
• 3:39
[SPEAKER_00]: But Tara reminded me that originally there was going to be swans like when the portrait was painted.
• 3:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 3:45
[SPEAKER_00]: And they cut the swans.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_00]: But like I just would have loved for just to go like we literally couldn't stop laughing about those like Jess walking in, seeing Rory pictured with two swans.
• 3:56
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like now mortal anime.
• 3:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Now as he just says to Noah.
• 4:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Weird the whole thing is so weird, but we like couldn't stop laughing about it And it's one of those things like before I watch an episode I kind of think about what's gonna happen Like what I want to notice or like what I want to mention to you and it always get sidetracked by something that like So so like honestly we get so tickled by but that's why I love the rewatch club is because there's not a lot of time First to get like our true Unfiltered thoughts.
• 4:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean with
• 4:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Gilmore revisited we were able to like really dissect our thoughts and that was watching the show It would be very different way.
• 4:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, whereas now it's just like as soon as we have a thought It has exited our bodies because we are just watching the next thing watching the show And we don't try as we don't rewind.
• 4:46
[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's just like a big boom It's really fun.
• 4:49
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the show you would watch the show with your best friends.
• 4:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah
• 4:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, admittedly, I think if I was watching it with you, we weren't recording.
• 4:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I would rewind and be like wait, you see that.
• 4:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, go see that.
• 5:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I totally agree.
• 5:02
[SPEAKER_02]: But in order to keep the flow of things and so that the besties at home who are watching with us can also enjoy it and not have to like guess where we are line up with us after they initially line up with us.
• 5:16
[SPEAKER_02]: We, uh, we're just going to keep going.
• 5:17
[SPEAKER_02]: We're just going to keep going.
• 5:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 5:19
[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes we miss things that I'm like, Oh, I want to talk about this, but it's because we just, We're just having a silly good time.
• 5:25
[SPEAKER_00]: A silly swan time, if you.
• 5:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 5:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's one time.
• 5:28
[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well, but it doesn't.
• 5:31
[SPEAKER_00]: But that episode is coming up on.
• 5:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Friday of this week if you are a vicious troll-up and then next week we will have happy birthday baby Which feels like so serendipitous That is during birthday week because of course we had to watch the trio the they shoot Gilmore's don't they let the games begin and Deified Korean Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving so yeah, it's just all lining up just happened to line up really inadvertently
• 5:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was great.
• 5:56
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
• 5:56
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 5:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Before we dive into today's episode, I did want to mention that we have new holiday merch out, which my god, I'm so excited about this line.
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_02]: The fact that, okay, I know we've talked about this, you know, a lot, the last several months, hopefully.
• 6:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I think so about how stamps came to us, just very willing.
• 6:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 6:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And we were like, yeah, let's just build this Emily Kelly, who's one of our graphic designers.
• 6:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't mean graphic designer.
• 6:24
[SPEAKER_02]: She helped us come up with it.
• 6:26
[SPEAKER_02]: The original stamps collection in like a day less than a day.
• 6:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 6:31
[SPEAKER_02]: It has just laid this beautiful foundation for all of these themed like holiday versions of stamps and I see some of them season all thank you so amazing I just love them so so much and now we have of course we did the fall stamps we had to do winter stamps and we've also done holiday stamps.
• 6:52
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're really excited about that.
• 6:55
[SPEAKER_00]: There's two versions because like one of them is, of course, red and green for Christmas holidays.
• 7:01
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Santa Burger, who else is on there?
• 7:04
[SPEAKER_00]: We've, okay admittedly we did want to do one R and baby Jesus, but that is not gonna come across in the stamp girlies.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Besties, that one was not gonna work.
• 7:12
[SPEAKER_02]: We really want to do one R and baby Jesus.
• 7:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I was just gonna be a baby doll with no arm.
• 7:17
[SPEAKER_02]: One R and baby Jesus.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_02]: And it just wasn't gonna work out
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_00]: We've only got so much we can offer in a stamp, but like when you look at it and you're like that is a baby with on arm That's really like that's a you just have to know that we we wanted to but it wasn't gonna work But we've got the candy can coffee all the cutie things.
• 7:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we have candy can coffee We have a gingerbread man with both high on four Richard.
• 7:43
[SPEAKER_02]: We have a present for Luke.
• 7:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Allah what Warlie gives Luke
• 7:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's in the end.
• 7:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's in the end.
• 7:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:51
[SPEAKER_02]: It's out of our law last year.
• 7:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: It says Fala.
• 7:54
[SPEAKER_02]: We've been ornamented a wreath, a stalking, you know, like the classic Christmas E things.
• 7:58
[SPEAKER_02]: A book of Christmas carols, the slave from the Bracebridge dinner, the Christmas tree from forgiveness and stuff that Laura Lye is working on or just kind of staring out while she's on the phone, ordering a pizza from Joe.
• 8:09
[SPEAKER_02]: We've raised Christmas sweater from season 7.
• 8:12
[SPEAKER_02]: We have one of the handbells from
• 8:14
[SPEAKER_02]: What is, is that also forgiveness and stuff?
• 8:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Or is that might also know?
• 8:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's forgiveness and stuff.
• 8:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's the, it's the Henry.
• 8:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's not doing this.
• 8:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's not doing this.
• 8:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's really funny.
• 8:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Right, count.
• 8:27
[SPEAKER_02]: We of course have our classic Elmer to say kiss.
• 8:29
[SPEAKER_02]: We have a snow covered gazebo and we have a slice of cherry pie.
• 8:33
[SPEAKER_02]: So that is what our holiday stamps, those are all the little Easter eggs you can find on our holiday stamps and then for our winter stamps.
• 8:44
[SPEAKER_00]: holiday stamps really just like for the holiday season, but winter can like winter can be too January and February.
• 8:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
• 8:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So we have a good old cup of coffee.
• 8:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's blue.
• 8:53
[SPEAKER_02]: It has a little lipstick kiss on it.
• 8:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 8:55
[SPEAKER_02]: L'Oralized Hatch, or I guess worry, where's the hurry?
• 8:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: Where's it?
• 8:59
[SPEAKER_02]: From the borderized classic blue scarf in love and more and snow.
• 9:03
[SPEAKER_02]: We have ice skates with little pink pom-poms on them.
• 9:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't the hat also from Swanson?
• 9:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, no, when they're making out their town they're making out their town during that will do pig Because you're right.
• 9:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, which speaking of the winter carnival.

• 9:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Home chow, a snowflake, a and ice melt snow book, a lava stamp that's been like winter-rise, it's got, it's blue, so it's, it's, it's but you should know, it's winter-rise, it's like, lower-light blue.
• 9:51
[SPEAKER_00]: It's more light blue, but it's really true.
• 9:53
[SPEAKER_02]: It inspired all of it.
• 9:54
[SPEAKER_02]: A snow covered Jeep, the York snowman, snow woman, I'm sorry.
• 9:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, snow woman, the town sign, that's like, got a lot of little snow all over it.
• 10:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's very wind-tree, very snow.
• 10:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and then the broken bells from in the Climber and the Climber.
• 10:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: So it's really fun.
• 10:13
[SPEAKER_02]: We love these two options We've never come out with two at the same time, but this was really cool to do and Emily Kelly of course She does every time she nailed it and she slayed it if you will She slayed And we'll also have our winter gazebo if you guys missed it or you want a new one in a new color Yeah, absolutely too.
• 10:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah
• 10:37
[SPEAKER_02]: And pick yourself up one or two, get one of each, or three, or three, or four, or however many you want.
• 10:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: We won't judge.
• 10:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And we're really excited to see how you guys style it.
• 10:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, tag guys, tag us in your stylings if you wear it for the holidays, you know, if you're still wearing it in January and February, do it exactly why.
• 10:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
• 10:58
[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, as I said, it is Haley's birthday as we mentioned last week, it is our red year and so what a more perfect time.
• 11:07
[SPEAKER_02]: to do for your birthday, which is normally at Taylor Swift Haley McIntosh cross over.
• 11:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but really, I'd say Taylor Swift will get more girls cross over.
• 11:16
[SPEAKER_00]: It's Taylor, X Gilmore, X Haley is really what it is.
• 11:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Haley's version.
• 11:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Haley, you know, it's like the one thing that if someone's gonna leave a bad review about me or complain about me in the podcast, it's that I love Taylor Swift.
• 11:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and if that's what it is, sorry, loving Taylor Swift is wrong.
• 11:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be right.
• 11:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be right so I don't want to be right, but I was thinking about like the ones we've done in the past like how this kind of came about Because of course we did midnight's first I would know no no we did folklore It was on a GTC that we did it.
• 11:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I think so it the first one we did was folklore It was definitely folklore ever.
• 11:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it was like some sort of GTC I don't know if it was a GTC because I think the first one we did for my birthday was midnight I don't think I did midnight
• 12:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: We did the nights.
• 12:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: Did we not?
• 12:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we did.
• 12:07
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, tag.
• 12:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: My wrong.
• 12:10
[SPEAKER_02]: We did our, like, a, we did a birthday episode between the two of us, but I don't remember what.
• 12:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my gosh, no, we didn't, because our first birthday episode was talking about birthdays.
• 12:21
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't do individual birthday episodes.
• 12:23
[SPEAKER_02]: The first, yeah, happy birthday.
• 12:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Grilly's was, you know, returning 30.
• 12:28
[SPEAKER_02]: this week, one of us for the first time and one of us for the second time.
• 12:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's so funny.
• 12:33
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're ranking birthday parties on Kelmore.
• 12:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I think yeah, I think the first year we didn't we didn't have a separate one, but we did folklore that year.
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I remember because I think it was some sort of GTC or something that happened.
• 12:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, I can't believe we didn't do midnight.
• 12:46
[SPEAKER_00]: It's my favorite girl, love her.
• 12:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we did a Gilmoreton consider Taylor Swift ex Gilmore girls on October 20th, 2022.
• 12:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 12:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And that was us talking about, yeah.
• 12:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think midnight was about to come out.
• 12:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was kind of like our owed to midnight.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going back into in folklore.
• 13:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's what it was.
• 13:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, since it's as don't blame us, but in honor of the release of midnight, we've got Gilmore to say on Taylor Swift.
• 13:10
[SPEAKER_02]: So we may have talked about midnight a bit, but I do remember making it the you making that make the girls.
• 13:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 13:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, maybe that's why I thought anyway.
• 13:21
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't do midnight, which is a shame because I was my favorite of them.
• 13:24
[SPEAKER_00]: But we then did the next year.
• 13:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: We did 1989.
• 13:27
[SPEAKER_00]: I remember then we did tortured poets.
• 13:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And then now, here we are.
• 13:33
[SPEAKER_00]: And naturally it would seem like we
• 13:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't feel like this album fits as well.
• 13:42
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's just not a ton of crossover in my opinion.
• 13:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
• 13:47
[SPEAKER_00]: That felt as expansive as the other ones did, you know?
• 13:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
• 13:54
[SPEAKER_00]: So we were like, what should we do?
• 13:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I love the life of the showgirl.
• 13:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean that I don't like it.
• 13:58
[SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't feel like I had aligned with Gilmour Girls as much.
• 14:00
[SPEAKER_02]: The life of a Gilmour Girl, though being a great title, we did all of the content that we could.
• 14:06
[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about Emily or Kelly, rather Kelly Bishop, life of the showgirl.
• 14:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah.
• 14:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like we've kind of hit actually romantic just in Dean, of course.
• 14:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously.
• 14:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 14:19
[SPEAKER_00]: But we've done all of our content.
• 14:20
[SPEAKER_02]: We wanted to do something a little different, a little new, and I thought red.
• 14:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, perfect.
• 14:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: So red here.
• 14:25
[SPEAKER_00]: When you said that, I was like, I don't know how to do because I've showgirl just some feel right.
• 14:29
[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, it's our red here.
• 14:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right here.
• 14:31
  [SPEAKER_00]: Hello.
• 14:32
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've been really excited because, you know, this album, I knew a lot of the hits off of this album, especially when it came out in 2012.
• 14:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Where were you in 2012?
• 14:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us a little bit about like what he leaves like one in 2012.
• 14:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, I don't remember.
• 14:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: What was 2012?
• 14:49
[SPEAKER_02]: For me, it was my junior and senior year of college.
• 14:53
[SPEAKER_02]: So I think for you that would be the freshman and
• 14:58
[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're so right that is you graduated into the 11.
• 15:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it was my freshman to my sophomore year
• 15:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: Big year for me.
• 15:07
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, okay.
• 15:08
[SPEAKER_00]: So I had been to London that year.
• 15:09
[SPEAKER_00]: I studied abroad that summer and so come back be here, you know, yeah, but yeah, I was in my sophomore year.
• 15:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I was in a really bad roommate situation.
• 15:19
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I moved out and I moved in with one of the girls that I met in London and I lived with her for the rest of college.
• 15:26
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I, you know, struggling with my life trying to figure out what I wanted to do.
• 15:31
[SPEAKER_00]: was not on the right path.
• 15:33
[SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't be on the right path until the following fall.
• 15:36
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think I was a little lost.
• 15:39
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that madam Taylor Swift was as well.
• 15:43
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I didn't really participate in this release because the people that were around me really didn't like Taylor Swift.
• 15:50
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I didn't know how to like convey my love.
• 15:53
[SPEAKER_00]: for it's really hard when people around you don't like something and you do and you're like and you're not confident enough to be like, of course, whatever.
• 16:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
• 16:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 16:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
• 16:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what?
• 16:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: What?
• 16:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like when was she?
• 16:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
• 16:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think I wasn't, yeah, I think I was turning 20 that year.
• 16:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 16:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really hard to be confident in what you like.
• 16:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 16:16
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that I'm confident at time.
• 16:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I kind of just like,
• 16:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: I listen to it.
• 16:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.
• 16:23
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have like a strong memory of it because I think I was being influenced by the people around me and being like, oh, yeah, but I've avoided I come around because when Taylor's version of red came out, I felt like that was like a huge moment for girlhood.
• 16:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, like, really what?
• 16:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I feel like the streets of Newark, everyone was just blaring all to about ten minute version and just getting to like, re-experience that in the version of me who in Hayley's version were like a super confident in my love of Taylor Swift and that's really like where a lot of my like Taylor's will content started taking off was during that time.
• 16:57
[SPEAKER_00]: So, I felt like I got to thanks to Taylor and her not having her master's whoops.
• 17:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I got to relive that.
• 17:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: So, thanks Taylor.
• 17:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love.
• 17:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Where were you in 2012?
• 17:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
• 17:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I was a junior going on to senior year.
• 17:11
[SPEAKER_02]: It was a tough year for me.
• 17:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I went through a really bad break at that year.
• 17:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you needed red.
• 17:16
  [SPEAKER_02]: I needed red.
• 17:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have red though.
• 17:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I remember my god, you only hear something really mean.
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I broke up with someone that year and it was, it was tough.
• 17:24
[SPEAKER_02]: I was really, I was down bad.
• 17:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I was not having a good time and I had heard because I think this may have
• 17:35
[SPEAKER_02]: was really like those hits were really coming to the forefront in the fall.
• 17:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but I do remember.
• 17:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 17:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I remember hearing that my ex-boyfriend had played.
• 17:46
[SPEAKER_02]: We are never getting back together at like a house party and was talking about me and being like, I should play the song for today.
• 17:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: Is that so mean?
• 17:56
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's mean.
• 17:57
[SPEAKER_02]: So not every time I listen, but like, if I was with you, I'd be like, oh my gosh, let's play it and send it to him.
• 18:03
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I think I was just really funny because like shortly after that, he asked me to get back together with him.
• 18:11
[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, I should have just sent him the track, I should have, but it's just, every time I hear that song, I think of that moment of feeling like really embarrassed, you know, I was 20, I like, you know, was still growing and learning and like, you know, variance of care.
• 18:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And I remember hearing that and feeling so like embarrassed and ashamed, because a boy wanted to play that song about me and our relationship.
• 18:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's hard.
• 18:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's hard to be on the receiving end of that.
• 18:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
• 18:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, like, of course.
• 18:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: In hindsight, I think it's hilarious.
• 18:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 18:42
[SPEAKER_02]: You're like, say we shouldn't have gotten back together, but we never, we never, ever, ever should have gotten back together.
• 18:49
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that there's something different for people who were under the age of 22 before this album came out and then turning 22 with the song 22, it just changed that age entirely.
• 19:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 19:04
[SPEAKER_00]: It's my Taylor Swift ear.
• 19:05
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
• 19:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: You were, yeah.
• 19:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 19:07
[SPEAKER_00]: That was exactly what I mean too.
• 19:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that's something that the girl is missed out on if you turn 22 before 2012.
• 19:14
[SPEAKER_00]: As I was going through it though, I felt like overwhelmingly this album really applied to a certain couple.
• 19:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you feel the same?
• 19:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 19:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Or did you feel like it changed?
• 19:24
[SPEAKER_02]: It definitely changed because here's the thing is that I didn't want, I didn't want it to overwhelmingly just
• 19:31
[SPEAKER_02]: be about one couple, but I, so I have some, I have some alternative options, but yeah, I feel like this album feels very, kind of specific couple coded.
• 19:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: What couple?
• 19:47
[SPEAKER_02]: For me, it's just in Rory.
• 19:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: This is a gestant.
• 19:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: This is a gestant.
• 19:52
[SPEAKER_00]: There are some songs that I'm like, I actually, this is like an alt character.
• 19:55
[SPEAKER_00]: This is like a side character song.
• 19:57
[SPEAKER_00]: But for the most part, I'm like, this is so fucking worrying.
• 20:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 20:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 20:01
[SPEAKER_00]: This is just leaving worry coded.
• 20:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: It is.
• 20:04
[SPEAKER_00]: This is just reminiscing on where you go to.
• 20:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is red, red or red Taylor's version is just no, I'm so with you.
• 20:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I, especially because I'm a gestant girl, I was really trying to be like,
• 20:19
[SPEAKER_02]: is every song on this album like about Justin Ruiz break up after season three.
• 20:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Like yes, or is it about like the almost like the, um, oh, what is it?
• 20:30
[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm trying to say?
• 20:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Not the coding, but it's like this is about them like trying to stay away from each other.
• 20:36
[SPEAKER_02]: And then it's about them after they've broken up is really what it feels like this is so just and worry hundred percent But there were also times when I was like I could see this being about Rory and Logan I could see this being about so and so so I'm sorry to go through track by track.
• 20:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, okay, and see so let's start with being okay Which I never heard of my entire life Really I feel like that's such a New York song so funny because I was like, huh, but I literally wrote the drums make me
• 21:07
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
• 21:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 21:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I just said, I can demand real this from just for like the thing about this album and especially when we analyze these in general is I try to put them behind moments between them like underscoring things that happened in the show.
• 21:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And I could just feel this for a lot of moments with Jackson Roy, twin fire signs, four blue eyes, the blue eyes is what made me think of Logan, but when it when the lyrics have a nice, who?
• 21:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: He does?
• 21:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 21:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, maybe I was just thinking about that.
• 21:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I know she has blue eyes, but maybe I was just thinking of his blonde hair and blue eyes.
• 21:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I was thinking maybe.
• 21:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 21:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, so low.
• 21:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they will slow good brown eyes, but the lyrics go and I never saw you coming and I'll never be the same and I just feel like that is so just and worry coded.
• 22:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that this love is a ruthless game and you're my Achilles heel, really fit for them, because I think that is so just, like, Rory is so his Achilles heel.
• 22:14
[SPEAKER_00]: And I also felt like that really fit for Chris and Laurel I too, because like, who is Laurel I Achilles heel, but Christopher?
• 22:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: So far it's true.
• 22:24
[SPEAKER_00]: It says love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right and I think that that is Chris and Laura lie that like it's kind of just Especially like when he leaves at the end of season two like that's really what that feels like Especially the line mosaic broken heart, but this love is brave and wild
• 22:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that fits with them because there's just so much of it that's just so inconsistent between the two of them.
• 22:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that is really what this is kind of saying is that like there's like a Courageousness to it, but inconsistent.
• 22:59
[SPEAKER_00]: but also life-changing element too.
• 23:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
• 23:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's kind of asking the question of like, love is a ruthless game, unless you play a good and right, are you going to?
• 23:11
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, it doesn't say that, but it kind of feel like that song is kind of like, almost implying that question, sure.
• 23:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 23:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And especially thematically to the rest of the album.
• 23:19
[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like it's, this is so just an worry.
• 23:21
[SPEAKER_00]: It's so just an worry, but it really fits Chris and Laura,
• 23:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I could also see it fitting Logan and Roy admittedly.
• 23:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 23:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're my Kelly's heel.
• 23:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I do think Roy can wear his heel.
• 23:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's his heel.
• 23:33
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, 100% like no matter how many times he tries to get away from her.
• 23:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's a cutie's heel.
• 23:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she.
• 23:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 23:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh gosh.
• 23:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I have things to say about that later.
• 23:41
[SPEAKER_00]: But yes, this could be Logan about Roy.
• 23:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 23:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll never, I'll never sell you coming.
• 23:48
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll never be able to do the same.
• 23:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
• 23:50
[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I was like, it could be Justin Marie.
• 23:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It could be Logan and Roy.
• 23:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 23:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: What about bread?
• 23:55
[SPEAKER_02]: How did you feel about the title track?
• 23:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's it's just in worry.
• 24:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 24:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Loving him is like trying to change my life already.
• 24:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Falling through the free fall.
• 24:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 24:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's season two.
• 24:06
[SPEAKER_02]: It is, but I could also see it being like the background of quite literally.
• 24:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Vory and Logan jumping off with the scaffolding.
• 24:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
• 24:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 24:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: You know.
• 24:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're going to be falling through life with her this moment and that I think was the moment that she's felt something she's never felt before with somebody
• 24:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
• 24:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
• 24:35
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a little switcheroo.
• 24:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm over here.
• 24:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Think about jazz.
• 24:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think about low.
• 24:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: I trust me.
• 24:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, I didn't write his name down.
• 24:42
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just as embedded in this album and his relationship really is as well.
• 24:48
[SPEAKER_02]: There are so many similarities between jazz and worries relationship and low income and worries relationship.
• 24:53
[SPEAKER_02]: We've obviously talked about them a lot on a podcast.
• 24:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: But
• 24:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's it was one of those things were like initially of course for everything I was like Jess Jess.
• 25:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but Jess about Rory.
• 25:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and speaking of adventurous, but we I want to before I before move on from red itself Yeah, when she says moving on from him is impossible when I still see it all in my head and burning red That's Jess in season six.
• 25:19
[SPEAKER_00]: That's Jess in the revival like it's just there's something about it but
• 25:24
[SPEAKER_00]: to apply that to Logan too, moving on from her is impossible, when I still see it on my head because it's like this idea of like, I will never live up to what we used to be.
• 25:35
[SPEAKER_00]: And like, I don't think the future will live up to it either, but I can't move on because I still see it all in my head.
• 25:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's so, oh my god, that's so them about Rory, you know.
• 25:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I also felt like Jess was fighting with him as like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer.
• 25:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 25:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh my gosh.
• 25:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that is both of them.
• 25:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: But treacherous treacherous.
• 25:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I just wrote this is playing behind Justin Roy when they're in the current teach me tonight.
• 26:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Put your lips close to mine as long as they don't touch.
• 26:04
  [SPEAKER_02]: This love is treacherous.
• 26:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: This path is reckless.
• 26:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: This daydream is dangerous.
• 26:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, but to headlights shine through the sleepless night and I will get you alone.
• 26:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Your name has echoed through my mind.
• 26:14
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think you should know that nothing safe is worth the
• 26:20
[SPEAKER_02]: But if you know what's not safe getting in a car accident, it's just as soon as like those words came up.
• 26:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, oh
• 26:30
[SPEAKER_00]: This is something that's, this is season two.
• 26:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Season two.
• 26:33
[SPEAKER_00]: This is treacherous, is treacherous.
• 26:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 26:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Dean listened to this and he said this is treacherous.
• 26:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so fair.
• 26:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of treacherous, I knew you were trouble.
• 26:44
[SPEAKER_02]: The first thing I thought of when we decided that we were going to cover red was, oh, I knew you were trouble is just marionale.
• 26:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Like,
• 26:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's also like kind of lower life.
• 26:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I knew you were a trouble when you walked in.
• 26:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: So fair.
• 26:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: So fair.
• 26:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I just think it's like it could also be Logan coded because I think that from the jump.
• 27:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Vory knew that Logan was just a reputation.
• 27:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: He was trouble.
• 27:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: Really good, good trouble.
• 27:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 27:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And I wrote that down.
• 27:14
[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it is more just coded.
• 27:17
[SPEAKER_02]: When I fell hard, you took a step back without me.
• 27:21
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm lying on the cold hard ground.
• 27:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that is him leaving her at the end of season three and her being like, I knew it.
• 27:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: I knew it.
• 27:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 27:31
[SPEAKER_00]: It's also, okay, it is a little bit in season five when she's crying on the floor.
• 27:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I know in the bathroom.
• 27:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: So real?
• 27:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, okay.
• 27:40
[SPEAKER_00]: It's because like when she says and he's long gone when he's next to me Immediately all I could think of is Jess and Lori sitting in the back of the bus when he's about to leave her real and Or when he's just like he's not there.
• 27:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: He's out there.
• 27:54
[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't want to be there.
• 27:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: I Yeah, I don't want anybody else
• 28:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't like anybody else, exactly.
• 28:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I also had Chris because once upon a time, a few mistakes ago, I was in your sights and you got me alone.
• 28:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, hmm, yeah, for sure, for sure, Chris.
• 28:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I know, I am dying to know.
• 28:17
[SPEAKER_00]: what you think about all too well.
• 28:19
[SPEAKER_00]: All too well, so before we get into the main character of it all, I just hope deep in my heart that Lindsey Forster is listening to this song somewhere, feeling so deeply about it, because you're telling me that
• 28:37
[SPEAKER_00]: His deans mom didn't pull out the photo albums.
• 28:39
[SPEAKER_00]: He used to be a little kid with glasses on the twin sides of bed And your mom's telling stories about you on the tea ball team.
• 28:45
[SPEAKER_00]: You taught me about your past thinking your future was me and so it's like She's a crumpled up piece of paper lion here.
• 28:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope that she is like blaring that in the car
• 28:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Heading worry, Gilmore, heading Dean Forster, heading towards happiness.
• 29:01
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all I can hope for her.
• 29:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's why.
• 29:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the song is so just and Logan coded towards words.
• 29:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's about someone who is never going to get over the situation that they were in.
• 29:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And the other person is never going to acknowledge that.
• 29:20
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's Jess and Logan.
• 29:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: I so agree.
• 29:24
[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's long gone, and that magic's not here no more, and I might be okay, but I'm not fine at all.
• 29:29
[SPEAKER_02]: You could also make the same argument for Dean.
• 29:31
[SPEAKER_02]: It's anybody who has fallen for Roy Gilmore, and has just gotten crushed.
• 29:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I could picture, Logan driving away from Yale graduation after being rejected by Roy Gilmore blasting the song, Windows down, wind it his hair, and he was there.
• 29:51
[SPEAKER_00]: and just like rockin' and ryey-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-
• 30:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that there's any person or any relationship that has the emotional depth that all too well, 10 minute version does.
• 30:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think it fits anyone person because I just like don't think that we've ever gotten anything that emotional.
• 30:30
[SPEAKER_00]: But when it comes to the 10 minute version, all I can think is the fan at it.
• 30:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Like the, towards the end of the 10 minute version, when she says, because in this city's barren cold, I still remember the first fall of snow and how it
• 30:45
[SPEAKER_00]: everyone always puts Luke in love and war and snow giving coffee to the war reenactors as the lord lives walking down the street with the masks like that always gets me in my feels because it's like the snow is falling it's aligning with the lyrics but like it that's not a
• 31:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Lorelei loop Max song, but it's like it fits so perfectly in that snippet of it.
• 31:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I just think that song is too emotional and very long, there's so much guest content in it.
• 31:13
[SPEAKER_02]: It's time for me to be in, yeah.
• 31:15
[SPEAKER_02]: It's really hard to just put that on one relationship or character.
• 31:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I don't, I don't really feel like there was any man that was like that level of manipulative like the, oh fuck the pink triarchy keychain on the ground like I just don't feel like anyone got that emotionally invested in the way that the narrator of that song gets
• 31:39
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
• 31:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just I don't it's like really has to be like thin yet snippets from Yeah, because like dancing around the kitchen for greater light feels like Lindsey and Dean what I would imagine if he was very gummy bear brownies But I just like imagine her being so young too
• 31:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that feels right, but I mean, he was young as well because in that song it's about the age gap.
• 32:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because she says, I've never been good at telling jokes, but the punchline goes, I'll get older, but your lover's stay my age.
• 32:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 32:10
[SPEAKER_00]: There's about that was a wrong lyrics, but I just don't think that that fits anyone.
• 32:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 32:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's so true.
• 32:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: It does.
• 32:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: It does.
• 32:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I like the idea of vignettes of kind of placing and I feel like that would have to be a whole episode in and of itself to take the all too well 10 minute version and apply it to vignettes from Gilmore girls scenes.
• 32:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh yes.
• 32:34
[SPEAKER_00]: See, that's like one of my favorite things to do.
• 32:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I feel like I'm a fan at it girl, even in my heart because I just love to put.
• 32:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I love to put a little clip, but yeah, when Ultimate 10-minute version came out, I did do a lot of funny edits with Asher in Paris, hilarious, because that's the only real age gap, like potential power imbalance in a relationship, so that is so, but so funny and so real.
• 33:01
[SPEAKER_00]: It's too long of a song to be one person, it's too specific.
• 33:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I would love like a piece of media or like a character from a show, a book, something where that song fits.
• 33:10
[SPEAKER_00]: really well because I would love to consume something based on that song.
• 33:14
  [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, I'm sure.
• 33:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know that it's, I know there's a movie.
• 33:17
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a short yeah, but like something outside of that totally.
• 33:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
• 33:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Drop me a rack besties.
• 33:24
[SPEAKER_02]: So when we get to 22, I had a tough time sort of placing this.
• 33:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I just put the girl.
• 33:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: I just put.
• 33:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Laura lion worry.
• 33:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: I said it's it's very Laura.
• 33:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm very coded.
• 33:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's giving Laura lives first date Yale.
• 33:37
[SPEAKER_02]: It's giving Ruys 21st birthday party in Atlantic City.
• 33:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Or if we do want to consider season 7 canon, we could put it on Lucy Olivia and Rory going to.
• 33:46
[SPEAKER_02]: starts hollow, dying of air, like kind of just feeling their last bits of being in college mean, quote unquote kids and also having like fears for the future, but trying to live in the moment,
• 34:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, and I tell you, I actually put the road trip to Harvard for one of these months, because she says it seems like one of those nights, we ditched the whole scene.
• 34:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I was like, oh, yeah, you did just delete the whole scene and the whole scene was your potential marriage.
• 34:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 34:17
[SPEAKER_00]: You're wetting, but I just felt like the girlies it's miserable and magical.
• 34:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything will be out right if you keep me next to you.
• 34:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's just so them.
• 34:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, why did that make me like teary?
• 34:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like that kind of like make me a little emotional.
• 34:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.
• 34:31
[SPEAKER_00]: But can I also say, I think that this is a little bit like our relationship with watching the show.
• 34:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, happy for you confused and lonely at the same time.
• 34:39
[SPEAKER_00]: But like you watch the show.
• 34:40
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's everything will be all right if you keep me next to you.
• 34:42
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a kind of like this like scapeys in a place that we get to go to.
• 34:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't put it on any one person.
• 34:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I just kind of put it like the experience of Gilmore Girls and the Grileys themselves.
• 34:51
[SPEAKER_00]: And that one's moment where they do ditch the whole scene.
• 34:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, they do.
• 34:57
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, ditch the whole scene.
• 34:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 34:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Now for I almost do, you could apply this to a lot of different relationships, a lot of different breakups.
• 35:04
[SPEAKER_02]: But I thought that this was Logan and worry-coded.
• 35:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: Personally, he...
• 35:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: I did.
• 35:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't put that down.
• 35:12
[SPEAKER_00]: What did you put down?
• 35:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I put Luke in the war life.
• 35:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I also put in taste of things.
• 35:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I also put that.
• 35:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I said this could also be a very sweet, Luke and Laura like coded.
• 35:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it takes everything in me not to call you.
• 35:23
[SPEAKER_00]: And I wish I could run to you.
• 35:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: And I hope that every time I don't, I almost do.
• 35:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, she did.
• 35:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she did call him.
• 35:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: She did, it's true.
• 35:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I think I was thinking more Logan and worry after, like, in what I imagine,
• 35:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Their relationship being between season seven, the end of their relationship and a year in the life.
• 35:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And even throughout a year in the life, it's like I almost do every time I go to a party, I almost do and they do.
• 35:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like we call some up again, just to break in like a promise as we say a lot.
• 35:53
[SPEAKER_00]: That is the moment she, okay, we're in the revival.
• 35:56
[SPEAKER_00]: That is 100% the Logan Vignette of all too well.
• 36:00
[SPEAKER_00]: She calls him up again just to break him like a promise.
• 36:03
[SPEAKER_00]: So casually cruel in the name of being honest.
• 36:07
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a person who pulled up pizza paper lying in London.
• 36:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 36:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: Well, he is lying.
• 36:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 36:12
[SPEAKER_02]: He's also, yeah, he's also not great.
• 36:14
  [SPEAKER_02]: And he's lying here, I think.
• 36:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that, you know, I almost do.
• 36:18
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, every time I go, like, I just want you to know that even though I haven't, I almost do every time.
• 36:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And that also felt very like season three, Justin Rory coded, you know, just calling and calling for on her graduation day.
• 36:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I just want you to know, like, there's so much I want to say to you and every time I think of doing it, I don't, but I almost do.
• 36:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: I do call, but I don't say anything.
• 36:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I almost do.
• 36:45
[SPEAKER_00]: But it also felt a little bit like, uh, season seven, Luke and Laura lie.
• 36:49
[SPEAKER_00]: They're kind of like broken up and like what I would am actually happening in Luke's mind.
• 36:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
• 36:53
[SPEAKER_00]: And actually he does call her about April.
• 36:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
• 36:56
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that that, uh, fits a lot of different breakups.
• 36:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wings of this.
• 37:01
[SPEAKER_00]: I also feel like it could be probably a little bit Laura and Emily.
• 37:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Like every time I don't I almost do every time I like like want to get past my ego to get to like a better place between us I don't but I almost do but I just don't because of our past history So I think they could fit in a lot of different places 100% I get the reason that I like immediately gravitated towards worry and Logan is because of we made quite a mess babe It's probably better off this way and I confess babe in my dreams you're touching my face and asking me if I want to try again with you and I almost do
• 37:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I mean, it's so terrible.
• 37:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's over here, writing posts, seasons of adventure.
• 37:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Moreover, like, even later in the life.
• 37:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm just thinking to myself, like, them having this last night together in fall.
• 37:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, the opportunity is there.
• 37:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was just so locked in on Jess and Rory for this album.
• 37:51
[SPEAKER_02]: It's such a Jess and Rory, code it all by.
• 37:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I forgot to consider my man.
• 37:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for doing it for me.
• 37:57
[SPEAKER_02]: This is what a friend does on a friend's work there.
• 38:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's your birthday.
• 38:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to make sure that you're considering no good luck with all of that.
• 38:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I love it, my girl.
• 38:06
[SPEAKER_02]: OK, so speaking of Lindsey Forster, I really, really, really, really think she would have played we are never ever getting back together for Dean when she was just stuff out the window and his hockey stick.
• 38:18
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like if this song was out at the time, I would be like, play it.
• 38:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Blay, she's yelling at her mom.
• 38:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Blay at her mom!
• 38:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Her mom has a blue box outside.
• 38:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Why is her mom out of me?
• 38:32
[SPEAKER_01]: She's just cheering her on.
• 38:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Her mom's in the other way.
• 38:34
[SPEAKER_01]: No, with the blue box inside.
• 38:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, man.
• 38:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I also put Chris in the oil eye.
• 38:42
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
• 38:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: Also that.
• 38:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I also care about that.
• 38:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 38:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Because Chris really feels like indie record.
• 38:50
[SPEAKER_00]: That's much cooler than mine.
• 38:52
[SPEAKER_02]: but Lorela is also listening to the indie record that's much cooler than mine so yeah it's a it's a little given take there but yeah a lot of these I was like Lindsey Forster needs this on a playlist on this 100 person yeah I thought Stacy's Day is just such a cute little bouncy song the lyrics that really reminded me of this couple were it was about showing up
• 39:17
[SPEAKER_02]: in a helmet for a fight and that just felt very Paris and Doyle coated again to a fight he comes back he's in a helmet he's like I'm ready to do this you took the time to memorize me my fears my hopes and dreams no one else is gonna love me when I get mad and that is Doyle showing up for a Paris every time he loves that perfect
• 39:39
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't put them down, but that is per... Like, he literally would be like, she'd throw something at his head and he'd leave, get a helmet and come back in and be like, okay, let's finish this.
• 39:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, and like the thing is is that's such a funny image of someone to like kind of like play with their partner and kind of like make fun of the fact that they're fighting and like make fun of what you just did, but like in a very genuine way.
• 40:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Doyle would mean it seriously.
• 40:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh 100.
• 40:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like okay, I'm ready.
• 40:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready.
• 40:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not leaving.
• 40:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, throw things at me.
• 40:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I could I don't see it being like genuine and authentic from anyone except for Doyle.
• 40:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I actually said Suki and Jackson for this time because it felt like they're engagement when she says all those times that you didn't leave It's been occurring to me.
• 40:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd like to hang out with you for my whole life that like he's like no I don't I don't want to just move it in together and skip married that it just feels like No one else is gonna love me when I get mad mad mad mad mad mad mad mad
• 40:36
[SPEAKER_00]: But like I think that you took the time to memorize me is very them too, but yeah, I think that that I think it fits so perfectly for Paris and Doyle.
• 40:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's totally a great helmet.
• 40:48
[SPEAKER_00]: And said, okay, let's talk, but I think that it's suing Jackson because it's sweet too.
• 40:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like people who are willing to like work through things.
• 40:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: The song is together.
• 40:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Cute, bouncy, and does feel very sweet.
• 40:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is not how would explain Paris or Doyle?
• 41:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Cute or bouncy, no, neither of those.
• 41:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Cute sometimes, but I think cute and bouncy does explain.
• 41:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 41:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: They're too cute.
• 41:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
• 41:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: I totally get that.
• 41:14
[SPEAKER_00]: What did you say for the last time?
• 41:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the last time is actually one of my most both on TikTok and reels, like viral videos.
• 41:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, because I put the last time behind four-light and Luke fighting in the street in parties.
• 41:31
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the last time I'm asking you this, put my name at the top of your list.
• 41:34
[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the last time I'm asking you why you'll break my heart in the blink of an eye, and I just, the way that that song like builds up between the two of them,
• 41:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then just like crashes and breaks that is so them and part of it.
• 41:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 41:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
• 41:48
[SPEAKER_00]: She's just literally asking him put my name at the top of your list.
• 41:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not your name.
• 41:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Mine.
• 41:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 41:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
• 41:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Because your name's at the top of my list.
• 41:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 41:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's so I like that.
• 42:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I've had low and crisp.
• 42:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I felt like this was where you were like- It's for them too, dude.
• 42:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: You know?
• 42:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 42:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Similarly, it's like, this is last time you tell me I've got it wrong.
• 42:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: This is last time.
• 42:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I say it's been you all along.
• 42:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 42:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And Christopher turns like it's always been you are.
• 42:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I just feel like, especially, I mean, season 7, they're break up, like, was very like, I don't want it to be you.
• 42:26
[SPEAKER_01]: What does it owe you?
• 42:26
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that you're how I'm meaning true to these two.
• 42:28
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's the last time I say it's been you all along.
• 42:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 42:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that feels like that fit.
• 42:32
[SPEAKER_00]: So person does that moment.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I wanted it to be you.
• 42:34
[SPEAKER_00]: And do the man that I want to want, do the man I want to want.
• 42:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that when Taylor writes, you were your best apology, but I was there to watch you leave.
• 42:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that just feels like the end of season two, he always apologizes.
• 42:47
[SPEAKER_02]: He always has something to say.
• 42:49
[SPEAKER_02]: It's always going to be better next time.
• 42:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he leaves every time he leaves.
• 42:54
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's why this like very instantly reminded me of Laura Lankriss.
• 42:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, especially Chris, like, kind of reacting to like, thanks for letting me know in that one episode of Asheri, it should have been Laura Lai that he was, she was like, I'm letting you go.
• 43:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm letting myself be happy.
• 43:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't been able to be happy because of you.
• 43:10
[SPEAKER_00]: And that kind of feels like that idea fits into this when they're kind of sort of back and forth.
• 43:15
[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like if it's both of those, I agree.
• 43:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Very well, I agree.
• 43:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of want to do a Chris and Lourlay at it to the last time, right?
• 43:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Did really about a Luke and Lourlay?
• 43:24
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it could do really well.
• 43:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Here as well with that.
• 43:28
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 43:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, you guys, I'm going to be on the edge.
• 43:31
[SPEAKER_00]: She's going to be on the edge on the edge.
• 43:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to me about Holy Ground.
• 43:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Holy ground is 1,000 million percent just thinking about boring, just talking to Vory in his mind.
• 43:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I was reminiscing just the other day while having coffee all alone and Lord it took me away back to a first glance feeling on New York time back when you fit my poems like a perfect rhyme.
• 43:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Took off faster than a green light go, hey, skip the conversation when you are, you know.
• 43:54
[SPEAKER_00]: left a note on the door with a joke we'd made.
• 43:57
[SPEAKER_00]: And that was the first day.
• 43:58
[SPEAKER_00]: And like having that like like speed off sort of like zero to 60 relationship, they were fighting in episode six.
• 44:08
[SPEAKER_00]: By the end of episode seven, he was going off to kill Shane.
• 44:11
[SPEAKER_00]: So he could beat with Corey Gilmore.
• 44:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And in the next episode, it was worrying just the early years.
• 44:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 44:18
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
• 44:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was like so
• 44:24
[SPEAKER_00]: faster than Dean and worry broke up.
• 44:28
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just see that is just room missing on it was good between the two of us.
• 44:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that.
• 44:36
[SPEAKER_00]: That's also my favorite song on the album.
• 44:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
• 44:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, love.
• 44:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I love that song so much.
• 44:42
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a good song.
• 44:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I needed your perspective because I wasn't sure where to put this one and again, I think it was so like every song.
• 44:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, it's just, it's just, it's just like, it can't be, but it is.
• 44:55
[SPEAKER_02]: It's so, so is and I, I was like the holy ground.
• 45:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: What's the holy ground?
• 45:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: Sores all out.
• 45:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like there's all of them.
• 45:05
[SPEAKER_02]: that is also like, for Jess, Star's Hollow represents obviously Luke, but like it will always, always, represent.
• 45:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, always.
• 45:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's like him in the revival.
• 45:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 45:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Tonight I'm gonna dance for all that we've been through, but I don't wanna dance if I'm not dancing with you.
• 45:23
[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of feels like he's not going to celebrate the relationship unless he could do it with her, but he's not going to.
• 45:29
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's just like him reminiscing on her and looking at it, like it was a good thing in his life.
• 45:36
[SPEAKER_00]: And like when he looks through the window in the revival, it's like, oh, you know, it's all flashing in his mind the first day when they somehow ended up together.
• 45:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he didn't kill Shane, but it is a joke.
• 45:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: We may.
• 45:47
[SPEAKER_00]: If it was your first time here, that we spread past that.
• 45:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we really blew past that.
• 45:54
[SPEAKER_02]: If this is your first time here, I'm so sorry.
• 45:55
[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to need to go back.
• 45:57
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to go back.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a joke.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: The star's home mafia.
• 46:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 46:03
[SPEAKER_02]: We love a joke here.
• 46:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Sad, beautiful tragic is just Marianna coded.
• 46:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
• 46:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: I think so.
• 46:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Words how little they mean when you're a little too late is just telling worry he loves her in season four.
• 46:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: 1,000 percent.
• 46:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.
• 46:17
[SPEAKER_00]: How did I miss that?
• 46:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you say.
• 46:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Season seven.
• 46:21
[SPEAKER_00]: season seven is just a great word to a little they mean when you're a little too late distance timing break down by silence there's so much silence the train runs off its tracks kiss me try to fix it could you just try to listen hang up give up for the life of us we can not get back the show we love
• 46:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, for real.
• 46:44
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you said season seven, I was like season seven.
• 46:46
[SPEAKER_02]: What, you were like sad?
• 46:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Beautiful because those characters are beautiful, tragic.
• 46:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Season seven of Gilmour.
• 46:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
• 46:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: That is so real.
• 46:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, as I started, as I started thinking about that song and like playing it in my mind, I was like, oh, oh, that really just sums up what happened and went wrong with that season so far.
• 47:05
[SPEAKER_00]: But I also said Chris and Laura live.
• 47:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, also sad, beautiful, tragic.
• 47:10
[SPEAKER_02]: for a kiss mean try to fix it could you just try to listen hang up give up yeah hang up give up was giving hang up give up in season three finale just hanging up the phone and you've got your de-measions and darlin they all look like me and it's like yeah they sure do yeah yeah
• 47:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, season seven has its name.
• 47:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it sure does.
• 47:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And they all look like immortal.
• 47:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's weird.
• 47:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: They have so weird.
• 47:41
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, that is so jazz.
• 47:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's so jazz.
• 47:43
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's so crisp and more like so season seven.
• 47:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's wrong with those.
• 47:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Words how little they mean when you're a little too late.
• 47:50
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love you.
• 47:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: You're a little too late, Jess.
• 47:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's so perfect.
• 47:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Good job.
• 47:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: The lucky one.
• 47:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: I wrote unsure.
• 48:02
[SPEAKER_02]: the one who can do no wrong, everybody lives pretty.
• 48:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: But, or maybe they're like, I think it's just her's hollow.
• 48:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Your secrets end up splashed on the news front page, like any year in the life.
• 48:14
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that could be someone looking at Laura Lye as she leaves her parents.
• 48:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, and they still have a legend of how you disappeared, how you took the money on your deputy and got the hell out.
• 48:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Got the hell out.
• 48:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because it's kind of like the idea of someone who was,
• 48:30
[SPEAKER_00]: obviously very well off in Hollywood and they treated the Rose Garden for Madison Square and so it's like they got out of this like societal life.
• 48:42
[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of feels like they're out of the spotlight.
• 48:45
[SPEAKER_00]: So that could be Lorelight escaping to start taller.
• 48:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 48:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I also was like kind of like maybe it's Lindsey, she's she's the lucky one.
• 48:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: She got out.
• 48:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: She got out.
• 48:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: She got out.
• 48:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Good for her.
• 48:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 48:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 48:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
• 48:58
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it didn't feel like this was another like Vin yet.
• 49:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 49:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 49:01
[SPEAKER_00]: That like it didn't fit entirely.
• 49:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 49:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: No, I agree.
• 49:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 49:04
[SPEAKER_02]: The one I could fit it most with was Laura like coming to town.
• 49:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Laura like coming just to slow and leaving.
• 49:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 49:09
[SPEAKER_02]: The life her parents had set up for her to see.
• 49:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's worth her secrets.
• 49:13
[SPEAKER_02]: We're literally splashed on the news front page.
• 49:17
[SPEAKER_02]: They like, yeah, it's like you would come to mom comes to town.
• 49:21
[SPEAKER_02]: It was like you might jump at any news.
• 49:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: None.
• 49:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh.
• 49:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's all right.
• 49:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, everything has changed, which I love this song.
• 49:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so so so good.
• 49:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like this is Dean and Lori.
• 49:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: I do.
• 49:37
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they are trying to get back to this is like them in season four.
• 49:43
[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like the early years them reminiscing on like how they met all I know as you said hello and they were just enamored with each other and it was so sweet like you held the door for me and it was really cute but now everything is changed you know when they are I'm sorry season five at the beginning of season five when they're trying to
• 50:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Relationship that is it really there anymore?
• 50:08
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I thought that was like the first thing that came to mind
• 50:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, see, I see this as an Emily and Richard song.
• 50:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Really?
• 50:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 50:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 50:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Because all I know is we said hello and your eyes look like coming home.
• 50:22
[SPEAKER_00]: All I know is a simple name and everything has changed.
• 50:26
[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end, when she says, um, so dust off your highest hopes, that like it feels like everything in my life was like leading up to this and now that I've met you, everything has changed.
• 50:40
[SPEAKER_00]: And it feels like when she shows up in that blue dress what she talks about and let the games begin when they go back to Yale and go do that tour.
• 50:47
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're kind of learning the history of, we're kind of learning the history of Emily and how she stole Richard from Pendulum I.
• 50:55
[SPEAKER_00]: That he says he had no choice when she came up there.
• 50:58
[SPEAKER_00]: And it kind of feels like that was the moment, like, regardless of the fact that he had been engaged in the invitation to dance and now everything had changed.
• 51:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she showed up.
• 51:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's so true.
• 51:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: And so.
• 51:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I feel like that's them because like everything has changed to me always took on the meaning of like being very positive and very mental to the fact that I think every thing in my life, like a chin of the song 100% she's like I met you and I like changed change and I think you can still apply that to Dean and Roy the early years especially in the pilot when she's like yeah I knew exactly what I wanted to do who I wanted to be where I was going I was going to children I was excited and then you came along
• 51:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: I know everything.
• 51:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I kind of like it being a little ominous to like that couldn't be like Dean and Roy like everything has changed.
• 51:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 51:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 51:42
[SPEAKER_00]: But belong here to do that.
• 51:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: I know.
• 51:44
[SPEAKER_02]: The first thing I thought of was like early like Dean and Roy the early years.
• 51:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Like this is so romance.
• 51:51
[SPEAKER_02]: This is so stars in our eyes.
• 51:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I, you know, green eyes and freckles in your smile and everything's changed.
• 51:58
[SPEAKER_02]: I also thought maybe even David Lane, like, they're just so cute.
• 52:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Tony and folks and the holy cup, I know.
• 52:05
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, we, that actually feels like them.
• 52:09
[SPEAKER_00]: So dust off your highest hopes, because like, who is more hopeful about love than Lane?
• 52:14
[SPEAKER_00]: because like the whole Henry situation where she just wanted someone to go through the the wringer with her and like Dave was like so willing to.
• 52:22
[SPEAKER_00]: He was like excited about it and I feel like with Dave arrived and she could finally dust off her highest host.
• 52:27
[SPEAKER_00]: So she was being with someone who was going to see her.
• 52:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then we got Zach.
• 52:30
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we got back.
• 52:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: Weird.
• 52:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: What about Starlight?
• 52:35
[SPEAKER_02]: That's so Emily and Richard.
• 52:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, totally.
• 52:37
[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to explain why it's like one of these men.
• 52:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, don't think I can.
• 52:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 52:42
[SPEAKER_00]: It just feels like them.
• 52:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what a marvelous tune.
• 52:45
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the best night.
• 52:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Never forget how you moved.
• 52:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 52:48
[SPEAKER_00]: The whole place was dressed in the night.
• 52:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And we were dancing like we're made of starlight.
• 52:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Because that song is when Taylor was in her conner Kennedy era.
• 52:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's about Ethel and Bobby Kennedy.
• 52:58
[SPEAKER_00]: because she I always thought the lyrics were I'm I'm a barbie on the boardwalk summer of 45 but it's from like the perspective of her saying I met Bobby on the boardwalk and I didn't know that until I was probably like a solid 27.
• 53:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Wow is that the key?
• 53:16
[SPEAKER_00]: That took me a long time to get that because it's they said we'll have 10 kids and teach him how to dream and so they did have 10 kids.
• 53:23
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but that everyone's always like, that's really a big escalation in that song if you don't know.
• 53:28
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like the background.
• 53:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's totally like, whoa, okay.
• 53:32
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I was curious who's perspective that was from when I saw the lyrics of meaning someone in 45 because obviously Taylor Swift is orange.
• 53:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: So, yes.
• 53:43
[SPEAKER_00]: But I thought, I thought it was just like a kind of her being like quote unquote like vintage because it was her real like Tweet era.
• 53:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought she was just saying, I'm a Barbie on the boardwalk somewhere 45.
• 53:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like you're a vintage Barbie.
• 53:56
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I met Bobby on the boardwalk.
• 53:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so if you didn't know that either.
• 54:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Now you know, because you're not alone.
• 54:05
[SPEAKER_02]: So bring it home to the last track on the original album.
• 54:08
[SPEAKER_02]: This is not the deluxe.
• 54:09
[SPEAKER_02]: This is not Taylor's version is be kidding again.
• 54:11
[SPEAKER_02]: And I do feel like this is Lindsey Forster.
• 54:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Really, I mean, do you love this as a dress, Lindsay?
• 54:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, right?
• 54:20
[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't like it when I wore high heels, but I do.
• 54:24
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, probably because she'd be a little taller then.
• 54:26
[SPEAKER_02]: He always said he didn't get the song, but I do.
• 54:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's true.
• 54:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that for her.
• 54:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that she actually really, really came to action for her.
• 54:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: I like, I hope and pray.
• 54:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope and pray that Lindsay gets her own spin off of nothing but happiness.
• 54:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I said Luke in the war life for this because this feels like the Mimi when she comes into the diner and they kind of reconciled through her sharing what was going on and wanting someone to dating Luke Pipeline because she said I've been spending the last eight months thinking all love ever does and break in burn and end but a Wednesday and a cafe I watched it begin again
• 55:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And so like they kind of, you know, fall in and out to sometimes in like season five.
• 55:07
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just the Wednesday and a cafe I watched it begin again.
• 55:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
• 55:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I put them, but I do like that it applies to Lindsay as well.
• 55:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: It does.
• 55:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's more like Lindsay's infection.
• 55:19
[SPEAKER_02]: It's what we hope for Lindsay.
• 55:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, like is this album is Lindsay fanfiction and just in reality.
• 55:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 55:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: Basically the whole album.
• 55:30
[SPEAKER_02]: moving into some of the deluxe tracks.
• 55:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know how many of these you wanted to do, but I did go into the moment I knew.
• 55:36
[SPEAKER_02]: And this to me felt like it was, I felt like I could put it behind the last few episodes of season three for Rory.
• 55:45
[SPEAKER_02]: It was her realization that like her relationship with Jess was over and it wasn't going to be as clean cut and closure filled as I think she would have hoped it would have been.
• 55:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: it's sad.
• 55:58
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just I picture her like at the prom.
• 56:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I know it didn't happen but it's just like that's not true.
• 56:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah exactly because like the song is about him missing her birthday so in this it felt like just missing where he's graduation you should have been here and I would have been so happy totally and I think I think that's hard to apply to worry because where he has we know it doesn't have like strong external feeling she's very internal in a way that we don't
• 56:22
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that one's a little too emotional for her, but if we saw more of what she was feeling surrounding that, I think that would have fed.
• 56:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
• 56:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
• 56:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: What about then?
• 56:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Come back here.
• 56:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I love this song, but can I tell you that every single time I think of it, I think of the beat of Teach Me How to Duggy underneath it because it was a TikTok song for so long?
• 56:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: And honestly, it's a bomb.
• 56:47
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, some some bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs and bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were meant to bobs were
• 57:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, come back be here.
• 57:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess you're in London today, and I don't want to need you this way.
• 57:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: Come back be here.
• 57:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Come back.
• 57:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, literally.
• 57:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because you're in London, because this isn't there that you're not around.
• 57:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 57:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: So good.
• 57:21
[SPEAKER_00]: So that one's so them.
• 57:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Girl at home, this one is Dean.
• 57:27
[SPEAKER_00]: And Logan, if Rory, yes, was the narrator of the song, and not what she did.
• 57:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, this is what Rory should have said to Dean on Logan.
• 57:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't look at me.
• 57:37
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to girl at home and everybody knows it.
• 57:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Mostly dean.
• 57:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: This feels small.
• 57:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Logan and Dean, but mostly dean.
• 57:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: Because everybody knows it.
• 57:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like obviously with Logan, yes, in a year in the life, but I just kept thinking about, like, you live in a small town.
• 57:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: We used to date.
• 57:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: You have a wife.
• 57:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone in town knows you and your wife and they also know everyone knows that so don't you keep looking at me like this everybody's going to know You've got a girl at home And everybody knows I have everybody knows But then the song goes on to like kind of like a girl code.
• 58:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I wish we were a girl I wish we're a had girl code, but she unfortunately doesn't
• 58:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she also I will give it to her.
• 58:19
[SPEAKER_00]: She did have a little male manipulation there.
• 58:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I would've seen absolutely that was she didn't have like a strong backbone there, but he he was a strong gust of wind totally tip and that over.
• 58:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I will skip Ronin because of the content of that song.
• 58:37
[SPEAKER_00]: It is about Taylor wrote it for a young boy who passed for his mom.
• 58:42
[SPEAKER_00]: So I just, I just skipped that one.
• 58:44
[SPEAKER_00]: In, um, Out of respect for that song.
• 58:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
• 58:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: I totally get that.
• 58:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 58:50
[SPEAKER_00]: But then there's song called Better Man.
• 58:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Better Man.
• 58:52
[SPEAKER_00]: This is me singing this to most men on their show.
• 58:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, yeah, I get it.
• 58:56
[SPEAKER_00]: you're probably better off on your own than love and a man who didn't know what he had when he had it.
• 59:01
[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of every man that's have a medical mark.
• 59:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's so true.
• 59:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I put Logan and Jess question mark because I think that they're especially just, it's like,
• 59:13
[SPEAKER_02]: God, it's such a disappointment for Team Jess stands when he like works so hard to get her and then she doesn't appreciate what he has He has her because he had her and he really let her and us as an audience down But with Logan, I Sometimes feel that way about her, but I think they could sing this song to each other
• 59:39
[SPEAKER_02]: They totally, you know, because it's also like we're a girl.
• 59:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I know that Logan, like, has made mistakes.
• 59:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He's a plot human, but he loved you.
• 59:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: He loved you.
• 59:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 59:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Eva Ronny said he would have drink your bath.
• 59:52
[SPEAKER_00]: No one was like, 100%.
• 59:54
[SPEAKER_00]: But he wasn't showing it on me.
• 59:55
[SPEAKER_02]: He was down in the back, didn't he?
• 59:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he would have bought it.
• 59:59
[SPEAKER_00]: She wouldn't even have to sold it.
• 1:00:00
[SPEAKER_00]: He would have bought it.
• 1:00:01
[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't just find his expensive, his expensive money.
• 1:00:04
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what it is.
• 1:00:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: His expensive money.
• 1:00:06
[SPEAKER_00]: His his extensive, if you will.
• 1:00:09
[SPEAKER_00]: He would have found all his expensive money on this.
• 1:00:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, his expensive money.
• 1:00:13
[SPEAKER_00]: But he would have done it for free, you know.
• 1:00:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: No money.
• 1:00:17
[SPEAKER_00]: but I also think that that one really applies to Dean when Roy is in a relationship with Jess and I see the permanent damage you did to me.
• 1:00:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Never again, I just wish I could forget when it was magic because it's up.
• 1:00:32
[SPEAKER_00]: It's that moment when she's thinking that just can be mad at her but he's really not.
• 1:00:37
[SPEAKER_00]: He just wanted to know and it's like that's really what Dean did to her but also she's like keep going back and forth and like maybe being friends
• 1:00:45
[SPEAKER_00]: No, but also where you should have been a better man, you know, exactly.
• 1:00:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it was so crisp.
• 1:00:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Chris, um, but it took the end of season six, do you know, ways, you can season seven, you know, you can season five.
• 1:01:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we can season seven too.
• 1:01:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's just like it's tough.
• 1:01:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Some, a lot of these characters could have been better.
• 1:01:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, love in a man who didn't know what he had when he had it.
• 1:01:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: So, girly, that's a, that's a PSI tallie.
• 1:01:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a PSI diver.
• 1:01:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
• 1:01:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Next is nothing new.
• 1:01:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
• 1:01:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 1:01:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
• 1:01:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I wrote nothing new first and then better man.
• 1:01:24
[SPEAKER_02]: So I got very confused.
• 1:01:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing new.
• 1:01:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's very go more.
• 1:01:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I love every time you bring up the song and every time you bring up the lyrics because people love an oceanale and how can someone bring it all 18 and nothing at nothing at 22 and I love how it's so new to 22.
• 1:01:44
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing, thematically, this album is really excellent, because like she says babe a lot, she, in like, uh, I almost do, she talks about, I bet you think about me, like there's like a really a lot of like wording that she ties things together really well in this album.
• 1:02:02
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, with nothing new, that's just worry, that's just straight up all right.
• 1:02:06
[SPEAKER_00]: So, so real, for our being a valedictorian and then kind of having a little breakdown.
• 1:02:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely, so classic,
• 1:02:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't do any of the other songs because I don't really know them super well, and I wasn't sure how many you were going to do.
• 1:02:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So lay it on me, I didn't think they fit super well because like with babe.
• 1:02:26
[SPEAKER_00]: I just like couldn't quite apply this because it's definitely someone who like found out that their partner was cheating.
• 1:02:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so it's like, I didn't
• 1:02:37
[SPEAKER_00]: what a shame didn't want you to be the one that got away, big mistake, you broke the sweetest promise.
• 1:02:42
[SPEAKER_00]: How could you do this babe?
• 1:02:44
[SPEAKER_00]: That really feels like Lindsay.
• 1:02:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, one hug.
• 1:02:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Because she's really the only one that seems to be upset that anyone cheated.
• 1:02:51
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but it's also maybe where we have to the bridesmaids, but maybe it's also kind of for a fault, a little bit, it's a situationally.
• 1:02:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: So that one's a little sticky.
• 1:03:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, message in a bottle feels like Jess and Vory the early years and weren't prior to the early years, like maybe like even Royalites graduation when she goes to New York.
• 1:03:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Because you could be the one that I love.
• 1:03:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:03:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:03:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I could be the one that you dream of.
• 1:03:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Message in a bottle is all I can do.
• 1:03:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Stand here hoping it gets to you.
• 1:03:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:03:20
[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like that's very just being in New York.
• 1:03:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's literally nothing I can do, but I'm just standing here hoping that the message that I'm sending to you by calling you is, hey, come see me in New York.
• 1:03:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: And then you do.
• 1:03:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:03:34
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of, it just kind of feels like a hopeful thing that you're not going to actually say out all day.
• 1:03:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
• 1:03:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but run.
• 1:03:42
[SPEAKER_00]: That is absolutely just in season four asking for a to run giving the keys I'll bring the car around we shouldn't be in this town and my so-called friends They don't know I drive away before I let you go Wow, there's a key on the chain.
• 1:03:56
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a picture in a frame take it with you and run Like you'd run from the law.
• 1:04:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's all he wanted to do so that really is
• 1:04:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: them.
• 1:04:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you think about me.
• 1:04:07
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:04:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you think about me.
• 1:04:09
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you think about me is Gilmore Girls and the two of us.
• 1:04:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I need to think of Gilmore Girls comes up.
• 1:04:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you think about me.
• 1:04:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:04:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:04:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
• 1:04:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Most people in my life.
• 1:04:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Anytime they come across anything related to Gilmore Girls, they send it to me.
• 1:04:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Well, here's the thing.
• 1:04:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's the lyrics of like, well, I've been, well, I try to fit in with your upper crust circles.
• 1:04:29
[SPEAKER_02]: And Luke, it feels Luke, but it also feels Rory Logan Coded, like you grew up in the Silver Spin Gate of Community, Glamour, Shiny, Bright, Beverly Hills.
• 1:04:39
[SPEAKER_02]: I was raised on a farm, no, it wasn't a mansion, just living room dancing and catching table bills.
• 1:04:44
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, that was, that is kind of a little bit feels like Rory Mitram.
• 1:04:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Like not in a romantic way Mr. Superior thinking because like this is really distinctfully looking down on someone in their perspective.
• 1:04:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
• 1:05:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't worry.
• 1:05:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Does that work?
• 1:05:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 1:05:04
[SPEAKER_02]: No, it might just be like it could be just like a really interesting juxtaposition of like the lower lies their life the way they choose to live their lives because we have to remember that lower lie chose to live her life this way despite having the opportunity for a wealthy lifestyle that her parents were offering her.
• 1:05:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: And the upper class.
• 1:05:25
[SPEAKER_02]: So it just might be juxtaposing those
• 1:05:30
[SPEAKER_02]: We're all asses against each other.
• 1:05:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was too world- Because one thing for sure when she says now you're out in the world search and for your soul scared not to be hip scared to get old Chase and make the leave status Last time you felt free was when none of that shit mattered because you with me that part doesn't really apply But the rest of it really just feels like Mitch um, like
• 1:05:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think there was ever a moment when like if like Rory and Logan had broken up in, but I'm a galmore, maybe this would have been.
• 1:06:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is like fan perspective.
• 1:06:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: We saw reality.
• 1:06:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
• 1:06:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I don't think the she necessarily looks down on him.
• 1:06:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, you know, this is kind of the.
• 1:06:13
[SPEAKER_02]: the projection that Logan puts on how she feels when she writes that let them drink cosmos article.
• 1:06:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is kind of what he thinks she's saying about that, but it's not really what she means.
• 1:06:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Interesting.
• 1:06:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 1:06:28
[SPEAKER_02]: But obviously the connotation of the song.
• 1:06:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think really fits.
• 1:06:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's like clear.
• 1:06:34
[SPEAKER_00]: There was a romantic interest in a romantic relationship, but I don't think it necessarily, it obviously doesn't fit with Metrum.
• 1:06:39
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not really how we think about Logan in the show.
• 1:06:42
[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think it's about like,
• 1:06:45
[SPEAKER_00]: This thing, when it comes into your life, I bet you think about me, I bet it's you bestie in Gilmore Girls, I bet someone out there is like any time they think about Gilmore Girls, they don't think about you.
• 1:06:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true.
• 1:06:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's the benefits.
• 1:06:59
[SPEAKER_00]: The last one that I have something for is the very first night, because I didn't really have anything for forever winter.
• 1:07:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that one didn't really, I couldn't really find something that fit there.
• 1:07:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe just to lower lives, like they need each other for ever winter, like when they have their little.
• 1:07:14
[SPEAKER_00]: split when they're not talking to each other.
• 1:07:17
[SPEAKER_00]: They're both very sad about it.
• 1:07:18
[SPEAKER_00]: That kind of vibe, but it's not, it isn't fit quite as well.
• 1:07:24
[SPEAKER_00]: But the very first night it feels like worry and Logan cheating in their revival.
• 1:07:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I drive down different roads, but they all lead back to you.
• 1:07:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Because they don't know about the night in the hotel.
• 1:07:36
[SPEAKER_00]: They weren't riding in the car when we both fell.
• 1:07:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't read the note on the Polaroid picture.
• 1:07:40
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know how much I miss you.
• 1:07:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
• 1:07:44
[SPEAKER_00]: So that feels like revival roaring Logan cheating.
• 1:07:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because we, we don't know about the night in the hotel.
• 1:07:50
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:07:51
[SPEAKER_02]: No one chose the two words that we whispered.
• 1:07:53
[SPEAKER_02]: No one knows how much I miss you.
• 1:07:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:07:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:07:56
[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like fall when they went to the end.
• 1:07:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:07:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's so true.
• 1:08:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what that feels very them because I feel, yeah, I feel like a lot of this album just like really falls into cheating, kind of like seeing that perspective, the reflection on it.
• 1:08:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And it really just, the only person that like that really reflects on that in the show is Lindsay.
• 1:08:22
[SPEAKER_00]: But there's like little snippets in this that I feel like fit into the cheating scandal,
• 1:08:31
[SPEAKER_00]: No, but, yeah, but we thought we talked about this.
• 1:08:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, boy, did we ever.
• 1:08:38
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we talked about the 10-minute version.
• 1:08:39
[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about all too well.
• 1:08:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: But,
• 1:08:41
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those are all the red, all the red deluxe, and all the red Taylor's version from the vault.
• 1:08:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
• 1:08:47
[SPEAKER_00]: And what we've discovered, red is a jess and worry.
• 1:08:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It really, it's just album.
• 1:08:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: It it is.
• 1:08:54
[SPEAKER_02]: It's, but I do love that we kind of went down a couple different avenues besides just as it could be really easy for us to put the jess and worry stamp over this one.
• 1:09:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And I do think it is very jess and worry coated.
• 1:09:05
[SPEAKER_02]: You can put a lot of these songs.
• 1:09:07
[SPEAKER_00]: But a little stamp in the corner.
• 1:09:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
• 1:09:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that you could put these songs behind a lot of moments between the two of them and make them make sense, but I like the different avenues we went through and that's a testament to the show and how nuanced it is, how many of the relationships get explored here and the pain and layers that come along with the aftermath of a breakup or a betrayal and that happens a lot in the show.
• 1:09:32
[SPEAKER_00]: So, oh yeah, nothing but betrayal.
• 1:09:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing but trail.
• 1:09:36
[SPEAKER_02]: So I really liked it.
• 1:09:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: I liked this one.
• 1:09:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it didn't feel necessarily like too much of a reach.
• 1:09:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I know in the past Sometimes we've had to reach with a lot of like different songs or lyrics and there were some that came up here But for the most part, I think we could really easily place them on specific couples, characters, relationships, situations, episodes.
• 1:09:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:09:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I like how much more is Logan forward.
• 1:09:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: You were then me.
• 1:09:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, I also was kind of trying to think about where you were going to be coming from with the album.
• 1:10:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's so funny.
• 1:10:06
[SPEAKER_02]: So I was trying to not because I could put Jasperiano and Regal Mar on like I could put every single song.
• 1:10:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: I did.
• 1:10:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: I did.
• 1:10:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's easy too because it is, you know, about heartache and I think a lot of this is from the perspective.
• 1:10:23
[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't get to see a lot of the aftermath of what happened with Rory and Logan after they broke up in season seven.
• 1:10:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we see what it brought us nine years later.
• 1:10:32
[SPEAKER_02]: So I think part of the reason why like a lot of this, I think is applicable to Rory and Jess is because we got to see that relationship play out in the sense that we got to see
• 1:10:42
[SPEAKER_02]: The early days, the courtship, the actual act of them becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, and then we saw the fall off of it.
• 1:10:51
[SPEAKER_00]: So to see all of us all the reflection, the next season, and we saw it seasons later, and then we saw it again, and the revival.
• 1:10:58
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's like a lot more like an arc I think that fits with this, because this one really is like a lot of reflection, a lot of in the moment coming back to it, like feelings that I remember all too well, but also like being in the feeling too.
• 1:11:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:11:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is why it's such a good album.
• 1:11:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's one spangers.
• 1:11:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: It is.
• 1:11:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing but bangers on this one.
• 1:11:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a really good album.
• 1:11:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And what's your favorite track?
• 1:11:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I have become an all too well girl.
• 1:11:20
[SPEAKER_02]: I could listen to that.
• 1:11:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I could listen to that bridge on repeat.
• 1:11:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:11:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you like the 10 minute version?
• 1:11:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I like the 10 minute version, but I tend to gravitate towards the five minute version, or the Gizet shorter, regular version.
• 1:11:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: Because it's shorter.
• 1:11:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:11:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like both of them.
• 1:11:38
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just so funny to me that until I started this podcast with you, and I remember you being like, you don't know what all too well is.
• 1:11:45
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, no idea what you're talking about.
• 1:11:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've never heard it in my life.
• 1:11:50
[SPEAKER_02]: And you needed it in 2012.
• 1:11:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I did.
• 1:11:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God.
• 1:11:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I had this album on repeat.
• 1:11:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I could hand deliver it to you.
• 1:11:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't tell you that.
• 1:11:59
[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna be like, who are you?
• 1:12:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: You need this.
• 1:12:01
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the story we're gonna be in about 10 years.
• 1:12:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, totally.
• 1:12:05
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was 10 years.
• 1:12:07
[SPEAKER_00]: We, no, actually it was 9 years.
• 1:12:09
[SPEAKER_00]: It was 9 years though.
• 1:12:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it was almost 10 years later.
• 1:12:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: We started the pot.
• 1:12:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I wish that I had, I had been listening to this.
• 1:12:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I wish that I had been listening to music that, I mean, I was listening to a lot of cerebralace and civil wars and modern science.
• 1:12:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I was definitely in my moody girl era, but not in like a.
• 1:12:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Not in a true way where I was properly grieving and emotionally regulated, and I don't know if to those who have solved those problems for me, but hey, I don't think she went out.
• 1:12:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I think she would have put you in the more, but I think you would have felt validated, but yeah, I do wish that you could have been at the Ares tour to sing the 10-minute version, cathartic, therapeutic.
• 1:12:49
[SPEAKER_00]: It was, but I will say about six minutes in, you're like, wow,
• 1:12:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:12:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:01
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.

  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:11
  [UNKNOWN]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:11
  [UNKNOWN]: It's a long time.
• 1:13:12
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I love that.
• 1:13:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
• 1:13:14
[SPEAKER_00]: But your favorite song, you said that it was holy ground.
• 1:13:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Holy ground.
• 1:13:17
[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like it's controversial, because like, all too well is the best song, that I'll agree.
• 1:13:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, she just, that's her, you know, that's her best.
• 1:13:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's her masterpiece.
• 1:13:27
[SPEAKER_00]: All too well, 10 minute version, especially.
• 1:13:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But holy ground, it's just like the beat, like there's something about it.
• 1:13:33
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just love, and I listen to a lot when I first moved to New York because it just felt like a New York time, like it's in the song.
• 1:13:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just feels like walking down the street, seeing them by your state building to me, like it just, I don't know why I point it as if it was up there.
• 1:13:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I just have a very vivid memory of walking down the street listening to this and seeing it in the distance and being like, wow, I'm in New York, I'm in New York time, but yeah.
• 1:13:58
[SPEAKER_00]: So that one, that one always really got me, but treacherous too, that one was always, I always love to treacherous, love, love, also a good song.
• 1:14:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it looks like a beautiful tragic a lot of songs on this album or just like good their bobs their fingers their sad songs like it really hits all of the the points, you know, hits all the people there's a couple of songs from this album on the playlist for the book that I'm writing.
• 1:14:22
[SPEAKER_00]: So now I was getting through it.
• 1:14:23
[SPEAKER_00]: There was like, oh, I'm like having to like rethink
• 1:14:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it in terms of Gilmour Girls and not in terms of my characters, it makes sense.
• 1:14:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I will also say that I have been watching a lot of gossip girl, and so it was like one of those things where I was like, I could put this on so many characters.
• 1:14:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Especially Chuck and his hair.
• 1:14:41
[SPEAKER_00]: This album feels like way more gossip girl than it does a Gilmore virus just because like that's so much more dramatic There's a lot of drama.
• 1:14:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I could ever be 100% so it was I also had to kind of feel like like better man I was like, oh, Chuck Chuck.
• 1:14:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that is so blaring.
• 1:14:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: I know.
• 1:15:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I know so I was just like wow.
• 1:15:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I've really got a I've got a lot back in on Gilmore girls So funny, but I'm glad that we did this album.
• 1:15:08
[SPEAKER_02]: It was perfect for our right year
• 1:15:09
[SPEAKER_02]: And I love that it kind of perfectly aligned with that because we weren't like we said at the beginning of this episode necessarily wanting to do the life of the show girl ex-skill mortgalls beyond what we've already been in But it just didn't fit.
• 1:15:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it just didn't feel right.
• 1:15:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I so it would have been a lot of stretching so so so a great
• 1:15:30
[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's our Haley birthday episode.
• 1:15:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited for you to have your birthday.
• 1:15:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm happy birthday, Haley.
• 1:15:35
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited for you to have your double golden birthday party tonight.
• 1:15:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Into tomorrow and celebrate tomorrow.
• 1:15:40
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you doing tomorrow?
• 1:15:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually going to Disney because I'll be in Orlando with my family.
• 1:15:46
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to drink around the world, but I don't drink alcohol.
• 1:15:49
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're just going to drink drinks, cocktails, I love that.
• 1:15:52
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get all the non alcohol of drinks at all the countries.
• 1:15:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And that is so fun.
• 1:15:57
[SPEAKER_00]: What do I love more than a babe?
• 1:15:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
• 1:15:59
[SPEAKER_00]: She's the best girl thing.
• 1:16:01
[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe we're going to be about to say that maybe you'd get a glass of champagne of France.
• 1:16:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think we're going to start in the UK if you know Epcot and work our way around and end in France.
• 1:16:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: All right, see you.
• 1:16:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: What a fun time.
• 1:16:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: See how I feel.
• 1:16:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's not that I don't drink ever, but I actually haven't drank in like two and a half years.
• 1:16:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just because it makes me feel anxious.
• 1:16:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't feel like I want to feel that way.
• 1:16:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:16:25
[SPEAKER_02]: It's head or miss funny.
• 1:16:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I have pumpkin beers in the fridge because I like doing like the cinnamon sugar rim and yeah, having like a little a little but like a baby one.
• 1:16:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like little having like a full tall glass of something, you know, I try to be very.
• 1:16:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:16:42
  [SPEAKER_02]: Very frugal with it.
• 1:16:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: Personally.
• 1:16:44
[SPEAKER_02]: So I will see you.
• 1:16:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'll let you know.
• 1:16:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be the first one to get the peg.
• 1:16:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, can't wait.

• 1:18:23
[SPEAKER_00]: But I will not be coming, I will not be coming to your episode birthday party.
• 1:18:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was hoping we could do a little intro together.
• 1:18:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: We can do that.
• 1:18:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I will come to the beginning of the birthday party.
• 1:18:33
[SPEAKER_02]: But as I mentioned, not five minutes ago, I am in the midst of a gossip girl re-watch.
• 1:18:40
[SPEAKER_02]: And that is because Haley and I have become the consulting producers on a new podcast that actually has been going for quite a while watching pretty little liars called the pretty new podcast.
• 1:18:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:18:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And they've just rebranded to
• 1:18:54
[SPEAKER_02]: a gossip girl podcast called Your One In Only Source with Caroline and Phoebe, and I am really excited because I've been wanting to do another Gilmore to watch episode as I did a couple months ago, and I- The Grace loved that.
• 1:19:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh god, did you bat.
• 1:19:08
[SPEAKER_02]: It's so much fun and I am kind of itching to talk about gossip girl.
• 1:19:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Because there's a lot of crossover between gossip girl and Gilmore girls as we are finding and we'll have more to say on that in the next episode.
