- 1:18So I thank you in advance.
- 1:19Today's episode is a request of a patient of mine.
- 1:23As a matter of fact, many patients will come to me and talk about this.
- 1:26It is an issue that I've been seeing.
- 1:28And since my patients know that I have a different philosophy on most things, I have a different view and I explain things differently, they asked me to do a quick, brief video or, you know, audio on this.
- 1:42And we're going to talk about having too much B12.
- 1:46So this is the scenario.
- 1:47I am helping a patient regain her energy.
- 1:50She came to me after feeling exhausted for months, tired at first and then exhausted for months, lack of energy.
- 1:59It doesn't matter how many hours of sleep she was getting.
- 2:02It didn't matter how many, and coffee she's drinking.
- 2:05She lived on stimulants.
- 2:07Like coffee was her best friend and she couldn't understand why she was so tired and she's seen her doctors, they did all the blood tests, They even checked her iron, her ferritin, all these were normal and they just couldn't really understand, give her an answer.
- 2:24So she came to me.
- 2:25And when she came to me, we did a B12 and folate, This is a test that can be done,, through a conventional laboratory, like LabCorp or Quest Diagnostic.
- 2:36When I did her B12 and her folate, they were low.
- 2:39Her B12 was super low.
- 2:41So I said, you know what?
- 2:42And then also we discovered that she has a lot of gut infections.
- 2:45She has Epstein Barr virus.
- 2:47She also has, Kaksaki virus, Saromegalovirus.
- 2:51So she has a lot of viral load viruses that are stealing away her energy.
- 2:56They're using the energy for their own usage.
- 2:59Let's say that.
- 2:59Because as we know with viruses, they manifest differently than bacteria.
- 3:04Virus can take over the host.
- 3:06Of an organ or they can take over your body and then they can set shop and they can transform that organ into their own.
- 3:13But in order for them to do that, they're going to need energy just like we need energy to survive viruses or viruses, whether it's herpes or again, Epstein Barr virus, A cold virus, a flu virus, a COVID virus, like it doesn't matter, they need to use our own energy as their own, They still await our energy, so therefore we are depleted, we are left unenergized, tired, exhausted, sluggish, with the brain fog, with the weakness, just not feeling well, feeling blah.
- 3:43And then over time, the coffee doesn't work anymore.
- 3:46The stimulants that we are taking doesn't work anymore because we actually running on empty,?
- 3:52Our gas tank is empty.
- 3:54Our cup is empty.
- 3:55So as we are navigating, helping her identify the root causes of her, tiredness and fatigue, we discovered that she has multiple viruses.
- 4:04And then we also discovered she had low B12.
- 4:08So I said, as we are, healing, creating a program for you to heal your body, and I'm customizing one for her, let's start with IV vitamin therapy.
- 4:16So we started giving her my Energizer IV, which is packed with components that are designed To help with mitochondria production or ATP production, aka energy production.
- 4:28And she's feeling great, Her energy is coming back.
- 4:31She's able to get up in the morning, not wanting to drink three cups of coffee, not wanting to, load her body with sugar to keep her up and alive and, you know, functioning.
- 4:41And then something happened.
- 4:43She, without telling me, she decided to go to her doctor.
- 4:46I think her yearly, physical exam came up and then she went to see her doctor.
- 4:51And then she was like, you know what, since I am taking IVs, vitamin therapy, can you also run my B vitamins, just to see where I am?
- 4:59So again, her doctor did the B.
- 5:02First they told her no, they'd be like, okay, well, she's like, no, can you please do that?
- 5:06So they said, okay.
- 5:06So they did her B12 and her B12 came back severely elevated in the thousands.
- 5:12The numbers.
- 5:13The number was thousands, right, in the B12.
- 5:17She freaked out.
- 5:17Her doctor freaked out.
- 5:19And then she contacted me.
- 5:20She's like, Oh my God.
- 5:21Oh my God.
- 5:22Can you believe it?
- 5:22My B12 is elevated.
- 5:24I don't know what's going on.
- 5:25Am I toxic?
- 5:26And so on and so forth.
- 5:27And I had to really calm her down.
- 5:28I'm like, calm down.
- 5:29Calm down.
- 5:30Because we have to understand that B12 B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, all the B vitamins are water soluble vitamins.
- 5:42We have two types of vitamins.
- 5:43We have fat soluble vitamins, which is ADEK.
- 5:48These are toxic.
- 5:49If you have too much of vitamin D, too much of vitamin E, too much of vitamin A, too much of vitamin K, they can store into your fat cells and then create a toxicity level, Those are dangerous.
- 6:00We don't want to have too much of that.
- 6:02And at the same time, they are the hardest, really, to, to optimize in your body.
- 6:07Because that look, for instance, look at vitamin D, I know people that are taking vitamin D forever and the vitamin D's are still low, They're still low because we can make the vitamin D, we need it from outside sources.
- 6:19We also need to make sure that the liver and the kidneys are prepared to help us, to increase that vitamin D to help with how would I say this?
- 6:25To increase the vitamin D, but to also help with.
- 6:28Like ab cons absorbing it properly.
- 6:31so if your liver and your kidneys are not working properly, so it's gonna be a challenge, but when, when your vitamin D levels really elevated, that can create some times of tax, some types of toxicity.
- 6:42But when it comes to B12 is not the same case B12 water soluble vitamins, meaning that you can exclude it out of your body.
- 6:50So it's vitamin C, just side note, vitamin C cannot create toxicity.
- 6:54Vitamin C cannot give you, stunts.
- 6:57Now let's go back to B vitamins.
- 6:59So all the B vitamins are water soluble vitamins.
- 7:02There's no way you can have toxicity for something that your body you can excrete to your urine.
- 7:07I've seen patients taking B vitamin supplements.
- 7:11They're not absorbing it well.
- 7:12And next thing they know, when they go urinate, the urine is a different color.
- 7:17It's orange, it's dark orange, it's yellow.
- 7:19And they will ask me, I don't think I need B, I don't think I can absorb B12 because I'm taking this supplement.
- 7:25And, and.
- 7:26It's really going through me.
- 7:28I'm not absorbing it.
- 7:29I said, yeah, because we have to look at absorption rate and we also have to look at toxicity level.
- 7:33So with this patient freaking out and her doctor telling her to stop all B vitamins, I had to really sit down and explain to her how it is not the case.
- 7:44If the water, if you are taking a water soluble vitamin, Water soluble vitamins and your body sensing that you still need it and your body's holding onto it.
- 7:55That means there's a miscommunication.
- 7:58That means there's a blackish that water soluble vitamins, AKA B vitamins is not going into your cells.
- 8:06So for this patient, she needed, although she felt better, her energy improved, But she was so depleted.
- 8:13She was so depleted.
- 8:15Her cells needed that B vitamins because she has so much toxins, the viruses are producing endotoxins.
- 8:23And I think we are identifying she has mold as well.
- 8:26So there was a blackage happening.
- 8:27The B vitamins wasn't going into her cells.
- 8:31She wasn't urinating it out, She was not excreting it to, to, to her urine.
- 8:35But at the same time that B vitamin was flowing into her bloodstream, looking for a home., we do a lab corp test, blood test, or course diagnostic blood test, those tests, they are extracellular.
- 8:48We are checking the liquid of the cells, not the cells.
- 8:52We are checking the plasma, the serum of the blood.
- 8:56So whatever that is flowing in the liquid of the blood, the plasma of the blood, the serum of the blood, that means it's not going inside of the cells.
- 9:06So I told them, like, once we decrease your toxicity level, we remove the blackish, then that B vitamin is going to go inside of your cells better, you can absorb it better.
- 9:18And whatever you don't use, whatever your body is not utilizing, your body sensing there's a higher, level, you are going to exclude it.
- 9:25You're going to pee it out.
- 9:27But the fact that the blood test is telling us that you have a higher level of B12 when we know.
- 9:33It is not a B vitamin that your body should hold on to if you don't need it.
- 9:37That means you need it.
- 9:38We need to find a way to make sure that B vitamin is penetrating, is going inside of your cells.
- 9:44So if you are going to see a doctor and your doctor is doing one of these tests, I'm holding on to a lab code script that I'm about to prescribe for a patient.
- 9:55And we are checking your B12, B12 and folate, and the B12 is coming back elevated and you're not feeling your best, You're still tired, you're still sluggish.
- 10:05So, and you, you know, for sure that the B vitamins that you're taking is, readily available to absorb B vitamins because we have four types of B vitamins, a B12 vitamin.
- 10:17We have cyanocobalamin, adenosocobalamin, metocobalamin, and hydroxocobalamin.
- 10:22Hydroxocobalamin is the longer, slow release, B vitamins, which I use a combination of both.
- 10:29Here in my practice, I use hydroxycobalamin and metocobalamin.
- 10:33Metocobalamin is the one that doesn't last in your body, Like, it's 24 hours, it has to go into your cells, and it's 24 hours.
- 10:42That's why when you take a supplement, the supplement company or the instructions on the bottle is asking you to take it every day because they know.
- 10:50The B vitamin that's in,, supplement should not stay longer in your body.
- 10:54Adenosylcobalamin is also short acting as well.
- 10:57And then cyanocobalamin is the worst B12 vitamins in the planet.
- 11:01You shouldn't be taking any cyanocobalamin can turn into toxicity.
- 11:06Cyanocobalamin can add to your toxicity load.
- 11:09So we don't want to take that.
- 11:10So I use hydroxylcobalamin.
- 11:12And also metalcobalamin.
- 11:13Metalcobalamin for you to feel, you know, energized right away, within weeks.
- 11:18And then hydroxocobalamin is for that B vitamin to slowly release into your cells.
- 11:25So when I spoke to this patient, I'm like, listen, I know conventional doctors can freak out when something is elevated.
- 11:32And I do understand there's a reason why things are elevated.
- 11:36We should not take that for granted, We should always identify the root causes of it.
- 11:41We should always find out what is happening.
- 11:44The fact that it's elevated, specifically B vitamins, you need it.
- 11:49We need to find a way to decrease the toxicity level because sometimes the receptors are clogged with toxins, The the receptor aides of the cells are clogged with toxins, and then the BS are just floating around looking for a home.
- 12:01And I'm here to tell you B vitamins are not toxic, toxic.
- 12:05They are water soluble vitamins.
- 12:08so what we did with this patient, we did a detox, We're currently implementing a detox so we can decrease the toxicity load.
- 12:15I also asked her to increase her fluid intake.
- 12:18Because dehydration can make your blood viscous, so therefore you have more toxins and are flushing out those toxins.
- 12:25They are staying longer in your body, not penetrate, not allowing the vitamins and the minerals and, the microbes and the microbes to go into your cells.
- 12:34And then after that, we're going to retest her B12 and folate, and then she's going to be fine.
- 12:39So I wanted to do this quick brief overview.
- 12:41Episode, Telling you if you test in your B12, which you do, you should, and your B9, which is folate or folic acid, and these levels are elevated, that means you really need to look at the cellular functions, At the cellular level to see what is preventing them from going into your cells, and you really need to talk to your doctor about ways to improve and open up the receptor sites so that these B vitamins can enter.
- 13:09And look at your absorption issue as well too, because with this patient that I'm talking about, although IV vitamin therapy doesn't go to your gut because it is intravenous, but she has a lot of malabsorptions.
- 13:20which changed her diet so that B12 that she's not absorbing can also come from her diet as well.
- 13:26because she's not absorbing The bees are not going into her site.
- 13:30her cells, so again, B12 or BS B12, B one, B two, B three B five B six B nine B12 are not toxic.
- 13:41They are water soluble B vitamins.
- 13:43They should be able to go inside of your cells.
- 13:45You should not have any issues with that.
- 13:47And if they are elevated, you should really look to identify the root causes.
- 13:52At the end of the day, there's always a reason why, Sometimes the reason can be a good reason.
- 13:57Hey, you need B12.
- 13:58I know it's a good discovery.
- 14:00And the reasons could be, a way, For you to start looking deeper and to identify what it is that you need to fix.
- 14:08or eliminate.
- 14:09so if you are looking to identify the root causes of your health issues or your symptoms, please schedule a consultation.
- 14:18That is the least that you can do.
- 14:20Identify the root causes, because everything that you're experiencing right now, The way you're feeling right now, what is the headache that you're having a hair loss that you're experiencing your Hashimoto's thyroiditis, autoimmune conditions, your skin is not glowing like you would like it to be, your energy is not there and you have like whatever your stomach it's giving you issues and digestive issues that you need to identify those causes and I would love to be the one to show you on paper.
- 14:47What is happening at the cellular level and why whatever you're doing now is not working for you.
- 14:53So, and that is step one to healing your body.
- 14:56Identify the root causes and which is a step that is missed by 95 percent of the population.
- 15:02Most people are not looking for the root causes.
- 15:04So how are we supposed to heal our bodies if we don't know, what the causes are?
- 15:08When you know the causes, that's when you can eliminate, and you can improve, and you can do all of the things.
- 15:12So, in our clinic here, Wellness Corner NJ, and me, being a root cause doctor, that's what I do.
- 15:19I help my patients identify the root causes, and I help them create a plan to eliminate them.
- 15:24But first, we need to know what's wrong with you.
- 15:26So, Please schedule an appointment consultation.
- 15:29At least that's the first step.
- 15:30Get that out of the way.
- 15:31Help me help you understand what is happening so that you can start healing your body.
- 15:36You can start feeling amazing again.
- 15:38You can have this vibrant, life that you so desire and not be at the mercy of a pill, not be at the mercy of, you know, emotional eating, not be at the mercy of, overweight, like all the things that you're not designing right now, you're not loving right now can be fixed.
