- 0:20Speaker 1: Make yourself comfortable. Take a big, deep breath in through
- 0:25your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.
- 0:35Take another deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe
- 0:42out through your mouth. One last time, deep breath in
- 0:53and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth, and
- 1:00feel a gentle rhythm of your breath. Feel the steady
- 1:05beat of your heart. Take a moment to listen to
- 1:11your heartbeat. Feel a gentle rise and fall of your
- 1:15chest as it moves in time with your heartbeat. Can
- 1:22you feel it? With each beat of your heart, you
- 1:29feel more and more relaxed. Now, imagine that you are
- 1:39standing in front of two enormous wooden gates, and either
- 1:44side of those gates are massive wooden fences. And behind
- 1:50those fences, all you can see are the tree tops,
- 1:54very very large treetops. Now above the gates, it is
- 2:00a sign that says the National Animal Park.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You wonder just what kind of animals are behind those trees.
- 2:11It's then you hear a loud creaking noise, and very slowly,
- 2:17the great big gates begin to open. As the big
- 2:22gates open wide, standing inside is a big, bright orange
- 2:28orangutank with great big grin on his face, and he's
- 2:33wearing safari gear, with big black sunglasses perched on the
- 2:36end of his nose, and lots and lots of gold
- 2:42danglar jewelry hanging from around his neck. He also has
- 2:47on a very shiny watch and it flashes in the sunlight.
- 2:53He says hello, and he tells you his name is Derek,
- 2:57and Derek gives you a great, big high five that
- 3:00nearly knocks you over. He's that strong. Derek is your
- 3:05guide here and is there for your every need. He
- 3:09even gives you a walkie talkie so that you can
- 3:13contact him if you need to. He says, come along now.
- 3:17Speaker 2: We don't want to miss anything, now, don't we not
- 3:20at all.
- 3:22Speaker 1: He leads you to his open roof safari jeep, which
- 3:25looks really kind of cool. He tells you that tonight
- 3:31you will be staying in a big lodge house just
- 3:34beyond the trees, and this is where you're going now
- 3:37to collect any others that may want to come on
- 3:39the safari with you. You ride in the jeep with Derek,
- 3:45and as you reach the end of the trees, you
- 3:48see that the National park opens out across gently rolling plains,
- 3:54and Derek tells you that there are many grassy plains
- 3:56all over the park. There are swamps, and there is
- 4:01even a tropical rainforest too. You think that this place
- 4:08is very beautiful and wonderful. Derek pulls up in front
- 4:13of a very large and amazing lodge, all made out
- 4:17of wood. It's the size of a mansion or even
- 4:23the size of a castle. Standing next to the steps
- 4:30leading up to the lodge are two other children just
- 4:33like you. There is a boy about your age, and
- 4:36there is a little girl, but she's a bit older
- 4:38than you. They climb up into the jeep and introduce themselves.
- 4:44The boy is called Michael and the girl is called Jessica.
- 4:49They tell you that they have been looking forward to
- 4:52this day for such a long time now, and they
- 4:55are so happy to be here. Derek the oranger tank
- 5:02drives off to the ranger's foot to collect any supplies
- 5:05you may need for your adventure ahead. Or this is
- 5:08really exciting now. Who knows what animals you may see.
- 5:13There is a rumor that some of the animals can
- 5:16actually talk. How cool would that be. Derek tells the
- 5:23three of you that this is a very special safari part.
- 5:28He tells you that none of the animals are dangerous
- 5:31here at all. In fact, they are all very very
- 5:36friendly and you're free to play and stroke with any
- 5:40of them. Well, that's if they want to be struck,
- 5:42that is. As you drive along the grassy plains, you
- 5:47pass by many tribes in colorful dress, all walking along.
- 5:53Some of them are even singing. As they walk along.
- 5:57They smile and wave at you loud to you, wishing
- 6:01you a great day here at the park. Derek tells
- 6:06you that there are many lakes here at the park,
- 6:10and each lake has many different animals and birds there.
- 6:14One of the lakes have large elephants and zebras. There's
- 6:18another lake that wild buffalo lives beside with their friends,
- 6:22the wilderbeast. As you drive along in the jeep, you
- 6:27see a giraffe up ahead. He's walking slowly and humming
- 6:32a little songn to himself. He spots the jeep and
- 6:36turns his head to look at you. Good morning, he says, Wow,
- 6:42he is very tall. Have a great day, he says,
- 6:46as he slowly continues along on his walk. You continue
- 6:52on your way with Derek, Michael and Jessica. You are
- 6:58nearing one of the lakes now, and Derek stops the jeep.
- 7:03He says to be very quiet and to look over
- 7:06the other side of the lake. You see a large
- 7:10shape moving around, and Derek tells you that it's Ernie
- 7:15and that he is an endangered black rhino. Ernie, he
- 7:20tells you, is very very shy and pretty much keeps
- 7:24to himself. Just at that moment, Ernie looks up and
- 7:28sees you. He smiles shyly at you, and then disappears
- 7:32behind some trees. Oh oh well, maybe he will speak
- 7:37to you later. There are many different birds flying above
- 7:43and around him. A lot of them are landing at
- 7:47the lake to take a drink of water and maybe
- 7:49have a bath. It's quite hot here at the park
- 7:52and they probably need to cool down to And you
- 7:57can see very colorful parrots in red and loose and greens.
- 8:01You can see chickens with the big orange beaks. You
- 8:06see cockatoos and cows, gray parrots. You can even see
- 8:11some flamingos wading in the water looking for their dinner.
- 8:17In the distance, you see a mist shrouded rainforest. It
- 8:22kind of looks like the steam coming from the trees.
- 8:27Derek tells you that that is where you will meet
- 8:30baboons and gorillas. He says they're very friendly too though,
- 8:36and if they like you, they may even invite you
- 8:40to have afternoon tea with them. How that would be nice.
- 8:47Derek tells you that while you're here, you really should
- 8:50meet the king of the jungle, who is, of course,
- 8:54a very large lion called Larry. He tells you that
- 8:58Larry loves telling jokes and if you're not careful, he
- 9:03will have your side splitting with laughter. Now, Derek brings
- 9:09his jube to a stop and you all jump out,
- 9:12because now it's time for the three of you to
- 9:14explore this wonderful place and meet as many animals as
- 9:18you can. Derek again make sure that the three of
- 9:22you have got your walky talkies so you can contact
- 9:25him if you need him. He climbs back into his
- 9:29jeep and drives off with all his dangly jewelry glittering
- 9:33in the warm sunshine. So now for a little while,
- 9:39who will meet the animals. Maybe you can play with them,
- 9:43as it's rumored that elephants really love playing football. And remember,
- 9:49they are all very friendly and most of them can talk,
- 9:53So go and have some fun.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Then then.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Give Sat a think.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Skid stints as people.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Now it's time for you to leave this wonderful place
- 13:15with Derek, who has returned with his jeep to take
- 13:18you back to the lodge. After an unforgettable and wonderful day,
- 13:25you head back to the lodge for food and to
- 13:28unwind by a fire on the plane under the star bright,
- 13:32endless night sky. After you've eaten your sumptious dinner, you
- 13:39begin to feel rather sleepy, so you go outside and
- 13:43sit by the crackling fire. There is a sleeping bag
- 13:48waiting for you with a soft fluffy pillar, because tonight
- 13:53we'll be sleeping under the night sky. You climb into
- 13:58your sleeping bag and snuggle down, and the sky is
- 14:02becoming gradually darker. As you lie there, watching the dazzling
- 14:08colors of the sun going down, the beautiful orange and
- 14:12red glows turning to pink and gray. You watch as
- 14:16the sun begins to set on the horizon and slowly
- 14:20starts to fade. It's very peaceful watching the sky become darker.
- 14:29As you gaze up at the sky above, you can
- 14:32see the first stars appear. First one star, then another
- 14:37and another, see them as they sparkle and shine, shining
- 14:43like tiny diamonds in the sky. As you look at
- 14:48the darkening sky, you can see more and more stars,
- 14:53and you think to yourself, what a wonderful day you've had,
- 14:58How lovely, how lovely and wonderful it was to be
- 15:03with the majestic and beautiful beings that they are. You
- 15:07had so much fun and laughter with them. It truly
- 15:11was a great day. The sky is so clear now,
- 15:18there are no clouds anywhere, just a beautiful, starry night sky.
- 15:24And yet more stars have appeared. Some stars are bright
- 15:28and luminous, others are tiny specks that you can barely see.
- 15:35But you feel so peaceful, so calm, so relaxed. You
- 15:42take your breath in and breathe it gently out, so relaxed,
- 15:49very sleepy now, and you give a big sigh of happiness.
- 15:56Your eyes feel ever so heavy, so heavy that they
- 16:01close or by themselves, But that's okay, because you don't
- 16:07want to open them anyway. You just want to sleep,
- 16:14So sleep, little one, just sleep.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Now.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Imagine that you're in a beautiful, lush green forest, and
- 16:24this forest has the most amazing trees Some of them
- 16:28are very tall, some of them are rather short and squat,
- 16:34but the beautiful aroma of them is all around you,
- 16:38and it smells so fresh and so clean, and as
- 16:44you walk along you feel a great sense of peace,
- 16:49almost like you're floating on air, and the weather is
- 16:53just perfect for you. You can hear the birds in
- 16:57the trees and you can hear them singing them. It
- 17:00makes you feel very happy. It's then that you notice
- 17:06you are on a little path, so you decide to
- 17:08follow it. You don't know where it will lead, but
- 17:12you decide to go anyway, and after walking for a
- 17:18little while, you find yourself standing in front of a cave.
- 17:23You didn't see it first because there are bushes all
- 17:25around the entrance, but as you got closer you could
- 17:28see the wide open entrance very mysterious. You wonder what's
- 17:34inside it, so you decide to explore it and find out.
- 17:41You went to the cave a first. It's a bit dark,
- 17:45but as your eyes are just it becomes a lot
- 17:48clearer and brighter, and you find you can see perfectly well.
- 17:54You wander around the cave. It's really quite big. You
- 17:59see some large rocks dotted around you and you notice
- 18:02that the roof of the cave is very high. Indeed,
- 18:08in some part of the cave it's actually quite bright,
- 18:11and there seems to be lights on the roof. But
- 18:14when you take a closer look, you realize that it's
- 18:18many crystals embedded in the roof. It looks so pretty,
- 18:23a tiny twinkling fairy lights. So nice. Then you hear
- 18:29a sound that you don't recognize, a kind of squeaky sound.
- 18:35It sounds a little bit sad really. You look around
- 18:39to see if you can find out what it is.
- 18:45You notice a small bat just hanging from the ceiling,
- 18:50and he's all alone. You can't see any of his
- 18:53friends or any of his family. He looks at you
- 18:57with big, sad bat eyes, so you ask him what's wrong.
- 19:04He tells you that all of his friends and family
- 19:07have flown out for the night and they are out
- 19:10having fun and playing high in the sky. He tells
- 19:13you that he's afraid to fly, and he doesn't really
- 19:16like the dark too much either, But he says all
- 19:19of his friends love the dark and they get to play,
- 19:21but he doesn't. He tells you that he is afraid.
- 19:29You tell him that you will help him to not
- 19:31be afraid. You tell him that you will help him.
- 19:36He smiles at you and says thank you. It's then
- 19:39that he tells you his name is Steve. As you
- 19:44look down, you notice something shining on the floor, so
- 19:47you go over and take a look. You pick it
- 19:51up and you see that it's a very shiny and
- 19:55sparkling crystal, and it's in the shape of a heart.
- 20:00And you hear a whisper coming from this beautiful crystal.
- 20:05You can't began it. Crystal's talking to you. The crystal says,
- 20:12it's very happy that you found it, because it's here
- 20:16to help you and to help Steve. You feel something
- 20:22on your back. The crystal tells you not to be
- 20:25afraid because it's giving you wings, wings so that you
- 20:31can help Steve to fly again. Wow, suddenly you feel
- 20:37beautiful wings on your back. They feel very soft and nice.
- 20:42And just as suddenly, you feel yourself shrinking down and down,
- 20:46and whoa, you've stopped shrinking when you're the same size
- 20:50as Steve. Oh my word, how cool is that? I'm tiny,
- 20:56you say to yourself. Crystal tells you to give it
- 21:01to Steve because now it's his turn. Steve the bat
- 21:06takes the crystal, and it whispers to him about how
- 21:11brave he is, how strong he is, how there is
- 21:15nothing to be afraid of anywhere. It tells him he
- 21:20can do this because he is brave and strong, just
- 21:25like you. And before your eyes, Steve gives you a
- 21:31great big grin and says, come and fly with me.
- 21:35I will be very brave as long as you are
- 21:37with me. How wonderful Steve is becoming brave. So Steve
- 21:46carries to crystal and begins to fly, and he calls
- 21:49for you to go out with him. As he flies
- 21:52out of the cave, and you follow him. You both
- 21:55saw up into the sky very quickly, so much so
- 21:59it takes your breath away. You are flying that fast.
- 22:04Steve gives a big whoop of joy. He is absolutely
- 22:08enjoying himself. He is so brave to face his fears.
- 22:13And you feel a great deal of happiness for him,
- 22:15and you are so glad that you came here today,
- 22:20although you didn't know that this is why you came
- 22:24to help someone who needed you. The moon is high
- 22:29up in the sky and it's glistening like a giant
- 22:32ball just floating there. It looks amazing. You ask Steve
- 22:38if he thinks does anybody actually live on the moon. Well,
- 22:43Steve says he hopes so, because he would like to
- 22:45go there one day, and maybe you could go with him.
- 22:48You love that as you fly high in the sky
- 22:55with Steve, you look up with the beautiful night sky
- 23:00and you see thousands of wonderful, bright and shiny stars.
- 23:05You can even see a few shooting stars too, and
- 23:08it's like they're out dancing in the sky just for you,
- 23:12for you and for Steve. You see another flash of
- 23:15light and another. You and Steve laugh out loud. You
- 23:19are both so excited and happy. There are shooting stars everywhere,
- 23:24and you wonder to yourself where they are going. Well,
- 23:29maybe they're going far out into space. Maybe there are
- 23:34people on other planets, maybe they can see them too.
- 23:39But for a few moments, just fly high in the
- 23:43sky with Steve. See what you can see, see if
- 23:48there's anybody else out there flying, And maybe Steve might
- 23:53tell you all about his life, who his family are,
- 23:57who his friends are, maybe he goes to bad school.
- 24:01Who knows. Just have fun and fly with Steve.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Then the pup in the pot.
- 25:50Speaker 3: The ending, the tack to take a tott and.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You return now to the cave with Steve. What an
- 27:05amazing experience you've just had, and Steve is so very happy.
- 27:11He is filled full of gratitude for you helping him today.
- 27:15He says that because of you, he will never be
- 27:18afraid to fly again. You both enter the cave and
- 27:24you both thank the Beautiful Crystal for all of telp
- 27:28because without it you would never have been able to
- 27:31fly with Steve. Steve says his friends will be coming
- 27:36home soon and he can't wait to tell them all
- 27:39about you and the Beautiful Crystal. But unfortunately it's time
- 27:44for you to return to your own home now. After all,
- 27:48you are feeling very sleepy right now. You have had
- 27:51a very exciting time yourself. Steve looks a little bit
- 27:57sad that you are leaving, but you tell him you
- 28:00will be back again really soon. You tell him that
- 28:03you and he will go on many flights together and
- 28:05see many things with each other. This gives Steve a
- 28:10great big smile of happiness on his face, and this
- 28:14makes you very happy to so you thank him again
- 28:20and watch him fly off so bravely. Now he feels
- 28:24confident again and you did this for him. You helped
- 28:29him to fly. And remember, you can come back here
- 28:34any time you want. For now, though, just take a big,
- 28:40deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently
- 28:46breathe out through your mouth. Again, breathe in, and slowly
- 28:55and gently breathe out through your mouth. One last time.
- 29:03Breathe in and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.
- 29:12And you now find yourself back in your very own bed,
- 29:18feeling so happy and peaceful, but very very tired. And
- 29:23just before you fall asleep, you sees Steve's tiny little
- 29:27happy face and he looks so wonderful. Steve the lonely
- 29:34bart is not lonely anymore, and that's because you helped him.
- 29:40You were kind, and you've helped him. So close your
- 29:44eyes and rest now. Now imagine yourself sitting on an
- 29:50old wooden bench in a very beautiful and very big garden.
- 29:56And this garden has a very old brick wall running
- 29:59up all the way round it, and there are flowers
- 30:03growing on some part of the wall, and ivy too,
- 30:06and it really does look very beautiful. But some of
- 30:11the wall you can't see, as there is a wooded
- 30:14area filled with many tall trees. You can feel the
- 30:19warmth of the sun as it touches your skin, and
- 30:23you look up at the beautiful blue color of the
- 30:26sky and you can feel a gentle, cool breeze on
- 30:31your face. You see a few fluffy white clouds slowly
- 30:36floating past, just drifting along with nowhere special to be,
- 30:42just like you at this moment in time, just drifting
- 30:47along with nowhere special to be, but here right now
- 30:53in this moment. You look over towards the trees and
- 31:00decide to take a look, because it kind of looks
- 31:02like a mini forest. And as you get nearer, you
- 31:06see some very big, beautiful, weeping willow trees and their
- 31:11branches are so long they are almost touching the ground.
- 31:16Their leaves glisten in the sunlight, and they shimmer and
- 31:19shine with beautiful, silvery green color. You walk amongst them,
- 31:25touching their leaves with your fingers and they feel smooth
- 31:29and silky to the touch. And as you look up,
- 31:33you can see the sun shining through the branches, almost
- 31:37making it look as if the tree is moving and
- 31:40swaying in the cool breeze. You can hear the rustling
- 31:45of the leaves and it's like the tree is speaking
- 31:48to you. You just can't understand the words. Suddenly you
- 31:55hear a voice and you think to yourself, who could
- 31:58that be? Maybe it is the tree talking. You hear
- 32:04the voice again and realize that it's coming from above you,
- 32:08and with astonishment, you realize that the tree is talking
- 32:14to you. How cool is that? As you look at
- 32:18the tree, you can see it's a beautiful face just
- 32:21above you. And the tree has the most amazing face.
- 32:26It has a beautiful big smile and incredible big, soft
- 32:31brown kind eyes. The tree smiles down at you and
- 32:38asks you if you would like to climb up onto
- 32:40one of its branches so you can both have a
- 32:43little chat. Well, that would be good. The tree explains
- 32:48that sometimes he gets lonely, even though his brothers and
- 32:53sisters are nearby. The tree tells you that it's brothers
- 32:58and sisters can't talk human, but he can, and they
- 33:03talk to each other with their minds and the swishing
- 33:06of the branches in the wind. But the tree likes
- 33:10to talk to humans, but not many of them come
- 33:13to this special place, so he is really pleased that
- 33:16you've come today. So he climb up on to one
- 33:21of his branches and make yourself comfortable and begin to
- 33:24listen to the beautiful weeping willow. As he begins to talk,
- 33:32he tells you his name is Benny, and you tell
- 33:35him your name too. Benny tells you that you can
- 33:39ask him any questions you want, and he will always
- 33:43tell you the truth. He says, the trees can only
- 33:47ever tell the truth because that is who they are.
- 33:50They are truth. Tell us they stand tall and proud
- 33:54and always stand in their own truth because it's impossible
- 33:58for them not to. Benny asks you if you stand
- 34:04in your truth, the truth of who you are, the
- 34:08truth of what you believe in. He says that sometimes
- 34:13he has noticed that some people say things that they
- 34:15don't really mean, but they say it anyway because they
- 34:19think it will make other people happy, even if it's
- 34:22not what they believe themselves. Benny says that this is
- 34:26not a good thing to do. He says, you must
- 34:29always say what you believe to be the truth, your truth.
- 34:34He says, you should always speak your truth, but to
- 34:37do it with kindness in your heart and in your voice.
- 34:43Benny says that it's okay to have a different opinion
- 34:46from someone else, because that is their truth, not yours.
- 34:52Benny then asks you if you would like to sing
- 34:55your truth from the top of his branches without any
- 34:58fear of judgment. Hmmm you think about it. Mmmm. Okay,
- 35:05he say he's to try to let exercise with and
- 35:09he will help you to sing your truth. So you
- 35:13climb up to Benny's highest branches, feeling very safe and
- 35:19secure as Benny will not let you fall. Benny says
- 35:27to repeat after him.
- 35:29Speaker 2: I use my voice to always speak my truth.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Now you say it out loud from the top of
- 35:36the tree, shout it out for all to hear.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I use my voice to always speak my truth.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Again, out loud from the top of the tree.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I use my voice to always speak my truth.
- 35:56Speaker 1: One last time.
- 35:57Speaker 2: I use my voice to always spreup my truth.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Benny says that now is the time. If there's anything
- 36:08else that you wish to say, be in your own truth.
- 36:13Say your own truth, shout it out now. In fact,
- 36:17Benny suggests you sing it, make a little rhyme of it,
- 36:20and just sing it out loud and allow the truth
- 36:26to fly all the way through you. Be true to
- 36:30you always. Benny says that you were fantastic, and he
- 36:37loved how he sang the words out loud. So for
- 36:41a few moments, just sit with Benny and sing out
- 36:45your truth as loud as you can, sing out all
- 36:49of the things you know to be true, and remember,
- 36:56be kind with your truth, but most of the oh,
- 37:01be kind with yourself.
- 38:19Speaker 4: People.
- 39:31Speaker 1: You feel so free here, so relaxed and peaceful and calm,
- 39:37and it feels so wonderful to just sit with Benny
- 39:41and chat and sing your truth out loud from the treetops.
- 39:47But now, though, it's time for you to return. So
- 39:51you climb down from Benny's branches, and when you reach
- 39:55the ground, you throw your arms around his trunk and
- 39:58give him a break big hug, and Benny is so
- 40:03happy he slowly moves his lower branches and wraps them
- 40:09around you too, giving you a warm and squishy hug.
- 40:15So you say goodbye to Bennie and tell him you
- 40:18will come back very soon to see him. Maybe next
- 40:22time you can both sing a song together. You wave
- 40:27and you turn and begin your journey home. And you
- 40:32realize now that you're back in your very own bed,
- 40:37breathing softly and gently, and each time you breathe in,
- 40:43you take in all the good thoughts and positive feelings,
- 40:48and you're drifting deeper and deeper into the most wonderful
- 40:52night's sleep ever. So turn over on to your side
- 40:57and snuggle down. Feels so safe, so protected, so loved.

- 41:44sandy beach and you can smell the fresh, clean, salty
- 41:49air and it tickles your nose. It feels warm and
- 41:53nice on your skin. You can hear the sound of
- 41:58seagulls flying above you, rising so high and swooping down
- 42:03all around you. It's like they want you to come
- 42:05and play with them. Can you see them? Can you
- 42:11hear them? As you look around you, you realize that
- 42:19you are on a very private sandy island with tropical
- 42:22trees dotted all over it, and it's very beautiful and
- 42:27you are the only one here. Then suddenly, from behind
- 42:32one of the trees, a very bright pink pelican comes
- 42:37smiling out at you. He has on a very large
- 42:43spotted dicky bow hmm, and a bright red baseball cap
- 42:48and it's on back to front. But it does look
- 42:51ever so cool though. He comes towards you with a
- 42:56big grin, and he tells you that he is your
- 43:00special guide and he looks after your tropical island when
- 43:03you are not there. He tells you that his name
- 43:08is Pete, Pete the Pelican, and he is the ground

- 44:03cabin to be there. So you close your eyes and

- 45:21you can sway from side to side on it? Or
- 45:24is it something else? You decide, it's your cabin. Now
- 45:32it's time for you and Pepe the Pelican to create
