- 0:12Hello friends, It's Sean here. And you know what day of the
- 0:16week it is? It is Friday.
- 0:19Ah, well done to you. Here we are at the end of
- 0:21another week. It is the weekend just around
- 0:24the corner and we will celebrate today by reading Assam.
- 0:28Together we are reading Psalm 103.
- 0:31That is the sum of David. This is a wonderful Sam, a sum
- 0:35that celebrate God's perfection, compassion, forgiveness and
- 0:40goodness. Boy, it's hard to find that many
- 0:44positive attributes outside of a Boy Scout and our God.
- 0:49No God still trumps Boy Scouts even, no matter how wonderful
- 0:52they are helping old ladies across the road and all that
- 0:55stuff. This is a Davidic Sam where the
- 0:58King celebrates all the attributes that he loves about
- 1:02his God. So what a wonderful way for us
- 1:05to celebrate this Friday by doing the same.
- 1:08Read with me, friends. Let's read it together.
- 1:10Sam 103 Let all that I am praise the
- 1:25Lord with my whole heart I will praise His holy name.
- 1:31Let all that I am praise the Lord.
- 1:34May I never forget the good things He does for me.
- 1:39He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
- 1:43He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender
- 1:48mercies. He fills my life with good
- 1:52things. My youth is renewed.
- 1:55Like the Eagles, the Lord gives righteousness and justice to all
- 2:01who are treated unfairly. He revealed his character to
- 2:05Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.
- 2:09The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and
- 2:14filled with unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us
- 2:20nor remain angry forever. He does not punish us for all
- 2:25our sins. He does not deal harshly with us
- 2:28as we deserve, for his unfailing love toward those who fear Him
- 2:34is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
- 2:39He has removed our sins as far from us as the East is from the
- 2:43West. The Lord is like a father to His
- 2:46children, tender and compassionate to those who fear
- 2:51Him. For he knows how weak we are, He
- 2:55remembers. We are only dust.
- 2:57Our days on earth are like grass, like wildflowers.
- 3:01We bloom and die, The wind blows, and we are gone, as
- 3:06though we had never been here. But the love of the Lord remains
- 3:11forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to the
- 3:16children's children of those who are faithful to His covenant, of
- 3:20those who obey His commandments. The Lord has made the heavens
- 3:25His throne. From there He rules over
- 3:29everything. Praise the Lord, you angels, you
- 3:33mighty ones, who carry out his plans, listening for each of his
- 3:38commands. Yes, praise the Lord, you armies
- 3:42of angels who serve Him and do His will.
- 3:45Praise the Lord everything He has created, everything in all
- 3:50His kingdoms. Let all that I am, praise the
- 3:56Lord. Yes, you are worthy to be
- 4:09praised. What is there left to say after
- 4:13the Sarmast has says it all? We praise you.
- 4:19We thank you that you are indeed slow to anger and filled with
- 4:24unfailing love, removing our sins as far as the East is from
- 4:30the West with tenderness and compassion.
- 4:36You are just so wonderful and we love you and we praise you and
- 4:44we pray all of these things through the name of Jesus.
- 4:48Ah man.
