Dave Zirin Remembers Howard Zinn’s Legacy
On today’s show, Norman Stockwell speaks with journalist Dave Zirin about his new book, The People's Historian: The Outsized Life of Howard Zinn. Zinn was at the center of some of the pivotal moments of the twentieth century, including the Great Depression, Spanish Civil War, Civil Rights movement, Vietnam, and more. Zirin says that not only was Zinn an observer of these grand canvases, he also joined in the fray. Featured image of the cover of The People's Historian: The Outsized Life of Howard Zinn.
