- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:45Hi, Adam here. And you're about to listen to a
- 0:48hypnosis session. That is all.
- 0:51About recalibration and. A reset.
- 0:55And. One of the interesting thing is
- 0:57I work with a lot. Of people, and they're so eager
- 1:00to make a change and they're so eager to do.
- 1:03Something that sometimes they don't realise that you need rest
- 1:07and. Recalibration and recuperation.
- 1:10Even for cognitive. Changes.
- 1:12And that's why sometimes you have this idea of a Eureka
- 1:16moment or an epiphany. Sometimes you can.
- 1:19Learn about something. Or research something.
- 1:22And then? You get away.
- 1:23From that thing. And then the idea just comes.
- 1:25To you, and that's because in the background, new neural
- 1:29pathways are being. Formed new.
- 1:31Connections are being. Formed that then leads.
- 1:33To the breakthrough and this can.
- 1:35Happen with change as well. So I was working with a client
- 1:39that had made a lot of progress, but they had a big challenge on
- 1:42the. Horizon and their goal.
- 1:44Was to impact the world through sharing their message.
- 1:47Through a book. And different means, but that
- 1:50felt quite daunting to them. So they wanted this hypnosis
- 1:54session to feel that every bit of changes they'd already made
- 1:58was kind of recalibrating. They were keeping the best bits,
- 2:00letting go of anything that. Didn't serve them.
- 2:03So I think this will be useful for anyone that's gone through a
- 2:06volatile time, a moment of learning something that is kind
- 2:12of. Challenging in some.
- 2:13Way and it feels like this is the pit stop, this is the the
- 2:17rest. Before the next.
- 2:19Leg of the journey and if that feels like you, then I think
- 2:22you'll get some value from this particular.
- 2:24Session. And if you're listening to this
- 2:26wondering, you know whether or not hypnotherapy would work for
- 2:30you in a one to one basis, I've actually created a suitability
- 2:34test. It takes about a minute or two
- 2:35to complete. So if you're curious as to
- 2:38whether or not you would be a good candidate for hypnotherapy,
- 2:41check the link in the description and you can do that
- 2:43quick test and you'll find out pretty quick if hypnosis is
- 2:46right for you and also who it isn't right for.
- 2:49And I've also created a course, A7 day course that's completely
- 2:52free. It's got 21 audio hypnosis
- 2:55sessions plus a video completely free.
- 2:58And these are things that are on my podcast.
- 3:00But to find these 21, you'd have to hunt through over 1000
- 3:03episodes to find them. So these are some of my favorite
- 3:06sessions, all put together in a seven day course.
- 3:08So if you like the idea of that, it's completely free.
- 3:11Again, click the link in the description.
- 3:13For now though, you may get some value from this session.
- 3:16So find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be.
- 3:18Disturbed, relax and. Enjoy the session.
- 3:51Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 4:02slow, long, relaxing breath and as you exhale, feel a wonderful
- 4:12sense of release. Just like tension, stress and
- 4:19worries are melting away. Just like morning frost on a
- 4:28spring day, feel that tension melting and being replaced with
- 4:38a feeling of lightness, looseness, a feeling of freedom
- 4:48and fluidity. And the deeper you breathe, the
- 4:54more relaxed you become. And every exhale releases
- 5:03anything that no longer serves you, enabling you to drift
- 5:10deeper and deeper. Relaxed.
- 5:16That's it. More and more comfortably
- 5:20relaxed. And I wonder if you can use the
- 5:26power of your imagination to imagine a lighthouse.
- 5:35Not a lighthouse that's close, but a lighthouse that's far
- 5:40away. And perhaps you could imagine
- 5:45seeing that lighthouse just after the sunsets and you can
- 5:54see that light beaming even though it's miles away.
- 6:05And I want you to get a sense that the lighthouse is your
- 6:09future because you a relight worker on a mission to share
- 6:20something valuable and illuminating to the world.
- 6:28And I want you to feel that you've made so much progress
- 6:31towards this lighthouse. And even though it feels like
- 6:36you're in uncomfortable surroundings sometimes, just
- 6:44know that you are on the right course.
- 6:50And a good lighthouse does many things.
- 6:56A lighthouse can be reassurance. A lighthouse can warn away from
- 7:04danger. A lighthouse can avoid
- 7:14catastrophes from happening so that ships and boats can take
- 7:20corrective action ahead of time. And what if your wisdom, your
- 7:28insight, your teachings change the trajectory of individuals to
- 7:38stop them crashing into the rocks of their life?
- 7:43So imagine staring off into the distance at that lighthouse, and
- 7:52as you stare at the lights that rotate, feel your body begin to
- 8:00relax even more, where your breath finds its own natural
- 8:06rhythm, where there's a shift, a shift from doing to being, from
- 8:17effort to allowance. And with each breath out becomes
- 8:25easier to let go, to let go of the past, of the stories of the
- 8:34roles played, and simply arrive here.
- 8:41That even though you're not quite at the lighthouse yet,
- 8:46you're closer than you've ever been.
- 8:50And I want you to feel proud of all the progress you've already
- 8:54made. You're not starting this
- 8:58journey, you are continuing it. And you've already made so much
- 9:05progress, so right here, in this moment, there isn't anything you
- 9:15need to do except to be present. Now, perhaps you could imagine
- 9:26drifting inward, inward to the inner landscape of the mind.
- 9:33But this isn't a battlefield. I want you to imagine this part
- 9:40of your mind like a command centre.
- 9:49And perhaps you could imagine that the interior of the
- 9:52lighthouse is advanced more like an air traffic control room
- 10:02rather than a lighthouse. And imagine in this place, a
- 10:10place where signals once crossed and conflicted now begin to
- 10:17harmonize, that in the past there may have been noise and
- 10:25static, but now the noise is dying down and now you're
- 10:31getting a clean signal. I want you to imagine that your
- 10:38mind is recalibrating all of this.
- 10:44New information, new ideas, new goals and new challenges in some
- 10:51of the old ways of thinking are no longer necessary.
- 11:00I want you to feel that you are shifting to a place of
- 11:03alignment. So any of those superfluous
- 11:09ideas and beliefs, old ways of thinking that would impede your
- 11:14onward journey would just be like old possessions that you
- 11:21don't take with you to a new place to live because if every
- 11:28time you moved. You took.
- 11:29Everything from your past with you, your life would be full of
- 11:34clutter and if it's the same for your possessions, it's the same
- 11:41for your mind. And I wonder what old ideas,
- 11:50beliefs, standards and expectations like those old
- 11:57possessions that don't belong on the next step of your journey.
- 12:04And right here, right now, there's nothing to fix.
- 12:09Just allow the recalibration to take place as you consider this
- 12:16your neural reset, a chance to allow the pathways in your brain
- 12:25to rest and repair and rewire themselves in service of
- 12:30something deeper. You've come far.
- 12:38And just like muscles after movement, the mind too needs a
- 12:45pit stop. Time to pause.
- 12:50Because growth isn't just in action, it's in reflection and
- 12:55integration. And so in this restful state, a
- 13:02quiet orchestra of inner parts begins to emerge, and some parts
- 13:12that once pulled you away, and other parts that try to protect,
- 13:19sometimes with distraction, with doubt or discomfort, beginning
- 13:24to reorganize. A team cannot win with talented
- 13:33individuals. It is when the team works as a
- 13:37team that's when they thrive. So imagine all of these talented
- 13:46parts of your subconscious in this time of rest and
- 13:51recalibration. Imagine that they're learning to
- 13:56work together, not in conflict, but in service of your deepest
- 14:06values. They are all drawn to the
- 14:12lighthouse, to the future, where you are a beacon, a provider, a
- 14:22guide. And imagine that each part has a
- 14:26voice. And in the past maybe you
- 14:31suppressed or quietened some of those voices, but now you want
- 14:37to listen. Because this is how your inner
- 14:42dream team is built. Not by silencing parts of the
- 14:47self, but by allowing them to collaborate, aligned in
- 14:55direction. And even if they're different in
- 14:59tone, they can share the same vision.
- 15:10So feel, feel the changes taking place.
- 15:16And thoughts may float by, and that's OK because they're not
- 15:22commands. Thoughts are just clouds in the
- 15:26sky near to that lighthouse. And you don't need to follow
- 15:31them. You can just notice and
- 15:36sometimes name them and then return to your journey.
- 15:42And sensations may rise and you can breathe with them.
- 15:51So emotions may stir. And they're welcome here in the
- 15:56dream team too, because this is psychological flexibility.
- 16:04And you are the container, the navigator.
- 16:13You are leading the journey. They accompany you on the
- 16:18journey, want you to feel like an understanding, compassionate
- 16:26leader of all of these fragmented parts, building
- 16:32something cohesive and strong, aligned, full of enthusiasm and
- 16:38energy. And every now and then, you'll
- 16:44think of the past. But there's nothing wrong with
- 16:49the old stories. Maybe they were written once to
- 16:56cope with difficult times and difficult situations, but that
- 17:03was the past. This is a new chapter, a new leg
- 17:09of the journey, and this is about freedom, and you don't
- 17:17need to control the narrative. Just choose the direction, and
- 17:25maybe the direction is the lighthouse, the future where
- 17:31you're able to have that level of impact, that level of
- 17:36influence. I want you to feel that you are
- 17:41building your future brick by brick and step by step.
- 17:51And those parts that were once cast in shadow, those parts that
- 17:58held fear, shame, anger or confusion, imagine that they're
- 18:06no longer hiding in the shadows. They are stepping forward now,
- 18:14not to take over, but to support, because these shadowy
- 18:19parts bring wisdom, energy, boundaries and truth.
- 18:29And instead of being enemies to growth, they are allies,
- 18:35standing beside you, with you on the journey.
- 18:44And even the parts that once sabotaged actually had good
- 18:50intentions and they were trying to protect.
- 18:55But now they've learned a new way.
- 18:58And perhaps of all of these parts, some are more influential
- 19:06than others. And I want you to imagine
- 19:10forming your inner council, all the most influential parts that
- 19:17can influence other parts with unique skills and strengths and
- 19:22qualities. They are leaders, and you lead
- 19:29the leaders, and they are learning to trust your
- 19:34leadership. And what if this is what it
- 19:41means to evolve, to become even more of who you've always been?
- 19:52I want you to think now that every foundation laid through
- 19:57every challenge faced brick by brick, and that you are building
- 20:03upon that foundation. Not by rushing and not by
- 20:10forcing, but. Placing each stone of your
- 20:15future life with care, with consciousness, with intention.
- 20:24Because you are not chasing a legacy, you are becoming one.
- 20:33You are becoming the lighthouse. And in this rest, before the
- 20:40next leg of the journey, you are becoming more aligned.
- 20:48Aligned with the parts of you that acts now in harmony with
- 20:53values, with presence, and with compassion.
- 20:59Because in this next phase of the journey, it isn't about
- 21:04proving anything. It is about living true to your
- 21:11values. That's what matters.
- 21:18And I don't know if it will be weeks or months or even years
- 21:23till you arrive at the lighthouse, but you absolutely
- 21:30believe that that's where you're heading and that's where you'll
- 21:34arrive. And when you get to the
- 21:38lighthouse, you will have different responsibilities, A
- 21:45custodian, the responsibility to continue teaching and leading,
- 21:52guiding and protecting. To feel how good it would feel
- 22:02to be energized for that next phase of the journey.
- 22:08But you're not on that phase yet.
- 22:12Now it's rest, recalibration, regeneration, and perhaps even
- 22:20evolution. And as you sleep, your dreams
- 22:29will give you clues that the recalibration in those new
- 22:34neural pathways are connecting new associations, new emotions,
- 22:41new levels of enthusiasm. But it's now time to return to
- 22:47the present taking. These wonderful feelings.
- 22:51With you feeling a sense of recalibration, reconnection and
- 22:58rejuvenation. So take a deep breath in through
- 23:02your nose and out through your nose.
- 23:09Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 23:12Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 23:18from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 23:23That's in 123 waking up 456 more alert. 7-8, open your eyes.
- 23:30Open your eyes 910 Wide awake, Wide awake.
- 23:36Wide awake. A.
- 24:39A. None.
- 29:39Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:39Yeah. Yeah.
