Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Vanity Fair. My name is
- 0:09Speaker 1: Chris Farah, and we are still talking. It's 90 Day Fiance.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's season 12. It's the tell-all. It's the part one,
- 0:16Speaker 1: but this is the part two of part one of
- 0:19Speaker 1: the tell-all, and we are still talking to my beautiful friend,
- 0:23Speaker 1: Casey Carhart-Spears, who is an amazing colorist at Chris McMillan
- 0:26Speaker 1: Salon and has been doing my hair and been living
- 0:29Speaker 1: in my heart for probably like 20 years. Hello. also
- 0:33Speaker 1: a big nightly fan. And we talk about the show
- 0:35Speaker 1: all the time in the chair. And we have been
- 0:37Speaker 1: like sort of low key doing this, the same thing
- 0:40Speaker 1: we're doing now, except that you are, you know, putting
- 0:42Speaker 1: tinfoils in my hair, uh, over the past, like five years.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So I'm so excited to do this all with microphones.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And it's because you aren't at the salon because you've
- 0:51Speaker 1: had a beautiful addition to your family. You gave birth
- 0:54Speaker 1: to a beautiful baby girl. And I'm so proud of
- 0:56Speaker 1: you and happy for you and Josh. And I can't
- 0:58Speaker 1: wait to meet her.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Thank you. I can't wait for you to meet her too.
- 1:02Speaker 1: She's just nesting at home, honey.
- 1:04Speaker 2: She's just nesting.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So as we know, Katie has already told
- 1:11Speaker 1: the big secret that she has had some issues and
- 1:13Speaker 1: she's already feeling the heat and she's already too much.
- 1:16Speaker 1: So Katie starts crying at the just touch pace, the
- 1:21Speaker 1: kind of like check-in that Sean does to all the,
- 1:25Speaker 1: it's pretty much just to be like, hey, you guys
- 1:27Speaker 1: still together? You guys still alive? Okay, moving on, you know,
- 1:30Speaker 1: but in that moment, she found out that, yeah, like,
- 1:32Speaker 1: you know, Katie has been Katie-ing it up. And Josh
- 1:35Speaker 1: has been doing what Josh does best, which is being disappointed.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Edward's like, why don't you ever say anything? Why don't
- 1:47Speaker 1: you just put your foot down? Why don't you stand
- 1:50Speaker 1: up for yourself? Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And Katie starting to cry again, just goes back to
- 1:54Speaker 2: your point of like, she really was hoping that she
- 1:56Speaker 2: was going to come on and nothing, no one was
- 1:57Speaker 2: going to ask her any hard hitting questions. And she
- 1:59Speaker 2: broke as soon as it was like, have you cheated?
- 2:01Speaker 2: And she's like, I know.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Now here is a devil's advocate thing. Let's just say
- 2:08Speaker 1: Katie was not the most innocent person in the entire world.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Do you think that she, and I don't mean to
- 2:15Speaker 1: be a Molly about this, but like how Molly would
- 2:18Speaker 1: always be like, Sheena, whenever you put Sheena, you know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: like to the test or her feet to the fire,
- 2:24Speaker 1: she cries. Like, do you feel like there's a part
- 2:27Speaker 1: of Katie that is like getting super emotional to sort
- 2:30Speaker 1: of like victimize, save herself from the fire?
- 2:34Speaker 2: It's almost like a signal of like, if you, if
- 2:36Speaker 2: you go too far, I will cry. So just know
- 2:39Speaker 2: everyone that I am a fragile little, little flower.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Maybe, maybe.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I feel like she Yeah, she cries like this is
- 2:48Speaker 2: so my, my, my literal baby got vaccines yesterday. And
- 2:55Speaker 2: the way that she started crying, I swear my first
- 2:58Speaker 2: feeling when I like saw Katie start crying, I was like,
- 3:00Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's like the same look like the
- 3:02Speaker 2: buildup of being like, You know, like it was like
- 3:06Speaker 2: this like face first, then the build. And I was like, oh,
- 3:10Speaker 2: this is, I don't know. It just does to me.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It reads, yeah, maybe a little manipulative, but also a little,
- 3:14Speaker 2: just like a little like immature, a little like, a
- 3:17Speaker 2: little like I can't be taken to.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Task.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah. You really, you really see her emotional age a
- 3:31Speaker 1: lot in the tell all part one. And a lot
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the comments people are saying that, you know, that
- 3:36Speaker 1: especially as we get on are things where I'm like,
- 3:38Speaker 1: I wonder if her mom ever said that to her.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 1: You're not ready to get married. You're not mature enough
- 3:43Speaker 1: to get married. Like she didn't, her mom was very
- 3:45Speaker 1: much like, he's, he's stable.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You know, like you're lucky Katie, don't mess this one up.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It's like, that's the mom's vibe. Yeah, totally.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You've like, no, you have no friends. You've basically, yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Like, yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that Katie low key, I think that
- 4:03Speaker 1: Katie didn't ever want to get married, but she felt
- 4:07Speaker 1: either the shame, or like the shame from people feel
- 4:13Speaker 1: people making her feel like she's other or the shame
- 4:16Speaker 1: of not like, in her mind being the same as
- 4:20Speaker 1: everyone else or as functioning in certain ways as everyone else.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And I think that Josh represented a nice stable guy
- 4:27Speaker 1: with an English accent. And we all know what English
- 4:29Speaker 1: accents do, especially to Americans. We think that like, if
- 4:32Speaker 1: you have a posh English accent, you might as well
- 4:34Speaker 1: like have invented Harvard. Like you went, like you are Oxford,
- 4:37Speaker 1: like you are the Oxford family. So it's like, I
- 4:40Speaker 1: think that she honestly was like, everyone's going to think
- 4:42Speaker 1: that if I'm with this nice guy and I get married,
- 4:45Speaker 1: that like, I'm, I did it. I'm a functioning adult. And, uh,
- 4:50Speaker 1: my parents will be happy. And like the, my friends
- 4:52Speaker 1: that thought I was weird or, you know, like didn't
- 4:54Speaker 1: want to be friends with anymore. Like I would have
- 4:56Speaker 1: gotten past all that into this next stage of like
- 5:00Speaker 1: successful adulting, you know, which I think that sometimes, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and it's like everything I think that the making out
- 5:09Speaker 1: and the drinking is to try and get him to
- 5:13Speaker 1: be the one to leave. you know, 100%, 100.
- 5:16Speaker 2: There's like something that she says later when they actually
- 5:20Speaker 2: talk where you're like, you're literally trying to get him
- 5:22Speaker 2: to break up with you, which whatever.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah. I know we have to get there. Um, but
- 5:27Speaker 1: this is, yeah. Okay. Um, so yeah, she obviously leaves. Um,
- 5:30Speaker 1: she comes back, you know, they move on, you know,
- 5:32Speaker 1: Sean's like, it's coming. Okay. You can leave, but don't
- 5:34Speaker 1: even worry. The battle is going to be waged and
- 5:37Speaker 1: your body's going to be, um, on the floor. Just,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you know, there's no bullet holes. Um, take your time.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Paula got her green card real fast it seems I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't you know sometimes it happens fast honey she got
- 5:49Speaker 1: it the first thing she did is like go back
- 5:51Speaker 1: to Brazil which was interesting because people also seem like
- 5:55Speaker 1: people like she had posted from Brazil and so people
- 5:58Speaker 1: on Reddit also like she went back she.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Hates them uh-huh okay that's I didn't I totally missed
- 6:05Speaker 2: that part but I'm like yeah so true we just
- 6:08Speaker 2: see like one thing on Instagram and everyone runs with
- 6:11Speaker 2: it so freaking fast And.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I did the same thing, by the way. I did
- 6:14Speaker 1: the same thing. Very early on, when I found Mito's Instagram,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I was like, Mito's Instagram, all his pictures are still
- 6:21Speaker 1: pictures in Egypt. And he said that he had started
- 6:23Speaker 1: some pyramid in there. So I thought that maybe he
- 6:26Speaker 1: already was back in Egypt. But I'm wrong. He was there.
- 6:28Speaker 1: He was at the tell-all. So if you're listening to this,
- 6:31Speaker 1: Chris Farah can emotionally, maturely admit when she's been wrong.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Good job. Thanks. Anyway, so, yeah, they talk a little
- 6:44Speaker 1: bit about his allergy. And then, you know, that's when
- 6:46Speaker 1: Rash is like, have you tried my cologne or whatever?
- 6:49Speaker 1: And just setting the scene for, you know, absolute peril later.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Mito and Debbie get their check in. And basically they
- 6:56Speaker 1: were like, everyone wants to know, like, Mito, were you
- 6:59Speaker 1: really a virgin? And Katie's like, prove it. Yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 2: How did you know? Tell me everything.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah like what was his penis like wait Debbie tell
- 7:13Speaker 1: me what was it like.
- 7:14Speaker 2: She's like who here is circumcised I know I know
- 7:19Speaker 2: yeah truly truly little horn dog.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Love it yeah so there's parts of me that I
- 7:25Speaker 1: really do relate to.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Her you know yeah totally for sure and also she
- 7:30Speaker 2: she says what's on her mind and you can't fault
- 7:32Speaker 2: her for that like she really just like comes out
- 7:34Speaker 2: with it and I am like good for you yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Also, yes. Also, undeniably, it is fun as fuck to
- 7:43Speaker 1: be drunk or tipsy and make out with someone. Sure.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Of course.
- 7:49Speaker 2: No one's gonna, no one's gonna argue it. Shay certainly
- 7:52Speaker 2: isn't gonna argue it.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And I won't even, yeah, I get it too. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Anyway, we love Katie. This is the We Love Katie
- 8:02Speaker 2: podcast episode.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Katie's like, could you tell that he was a virgin? Sorry.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Like in front of him, in front of him, could
- 8:13Speaker 1: you tell that he was an experience or was it,
- 8:14Speaker 1: was his dick weird? Sorry. I don't know. Did he slobber? Sorry.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I like, you know, did he know what hole it was? Sorry.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Just whatever. Like girl to girl. Like you're just like Katie.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Truly. Truly.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And Debbie's like, no, I could tell.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I feel like Mito's face when she said he could
- 8:34Speaker 2: tell was just like yeah Debbie's like yeah pretty obvious
- 8:42Speaker 2: I do I wish that Katie would have pushed further
- 8:44Speaker 2: and been like how name names how could you tell.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah he just kept like you know like kind of
- 8:50Speaker 1: like tickling the back of my knee and I was
- 8:52Speaker 1: like higher I.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Do you believe that he was a virgin with women
- 9:01Speaker 2: oh shit yeah i with anyone with anyone oh.
- 9:04Speaker 1: God yeah yeah with women yes with men i mean
- 9:08Speaker 1: no no.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah interesting okay no i definitely.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And i'm so sorry and if he's hearing this i
- 9:14Speaker 1: don't mean to like i don't mean to like whatever
- 9:16Speaker 1: i'm just being honest i do think that you're not
- 9:18Speaker 1: trying to out there's like hamams and stuff like that
- 9:20Speaker 1: like you know there's a lot of private spaces of
- 9:21Speaker 1: men being men in yeah men countries.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Yeah totally okay i love that i love that valid
- 9:28Speaker 2: interesting with women.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yes. Okay. Fair. Um, also Edward got his green card.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm so thankful about that. You know, like that makes
- 9:37Speaker 1: me really happy. He still has to get, um, well,
- 9:40Speaker 1: he got a job, sorry. He got a job, which
- 9:42Speaker 1: is like, you know, great because I'm sure she's like
- 9:43Speaker 1: holding everything absolutely over him because that's what she does.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They talk about his circumcision and that is, it was painful.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And that's when Katie's like, great penis time. And that's,
- 9:52Speaker 1: you know, God bless, you know? Yeah. Like Tom was like,
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm not gonna answer this and she's like valid yeah
- 9:58Speaker 1: it's interesting it's like maxwell's like i'm not gonna answer
- 10:02Speaker 1: any she's like yeah he's circumcised.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah or even mallory and rush and he's like and
- 10:07Speaker 2: she's like you are put your hand and it's like
- 10:09Speaker 2: okay why is everyone just who cares like it's also
- 10:12Speaker 2: the circumcision conversation sean's like as soon as she opened
- 10:16Speaker 2: up with it, I was like, I forgot that even happened.
- 10:18Speaker 2: That felt like so long ago. It felt like the
- 10:20Speaker 2: biggest like thing that I don't care about that. I
- 10:22Speaker 2: was like, Sean, Sean, just being Sean. Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Sean has a lot of Sean opinions, which I mean,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm like, Oh my God, get Ross back here.
- 10:33Speaker 2: That was the, that was the best one.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So basically at this point, this is what happens
- 10:39Speaker 1: and I hate this and this is why I brought
- 10:40Speaker 1: this up. So after that, Edward has gotten a job
- 10:45Speaker 1: and he got a job in like a warehouse. And
- 10:48Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, you know, she's like, how do you
- 10:50Speaker 1: like it so far? And, you know, it's like obviously
- 10:52Speaker 1: an entry level job. I'm sure he wants to make
- 10:54Speaker 1: more money. So when she asked him that, I was like, OK, Sean, like,
- 10:58Speaker 1: is it that you want him to say, well, I'm
- 11:00Speaker 1: starting off somewhere, but I have more ambition and I
- 11:02Speaker 1: want to make more money. But like, that's not what
- 11:04Speaker 1: he says. Right. He's like, well, you know, it's a
- 11:06Speaker 1: warehouse job, but I love the people I work with.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I get to work with a lot of Dominicans. Right.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So we're like, yay. But then this bitch is immediately like, oh, well,
- 11:15Speaker 1: if you're working with Dominicans, how are you going to
- 11:17Speaker 1: possibly learn English when that's what this motherfucker has been
- 11:21Speaker 1: talking this entire time? And then Marissa's like, yeah, you know,
- 11:26Speaker 1: like they both then Marissa and Sean become, I mean, like,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I don't have to tell you the most red. MAGA,
- 11:34Speaker 1: you know, like, I mean, they are wildly weird about this.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Like this man, first of all, he was in the
- 11:41Speaker 1: hospitality industry. He's been speaking English to like English speaking people.
- 11:46Speaker 1: That's how he met her. It's that was horrifying.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It was horrifying. I loved that. I really loved that.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Josh was like, this feels classist. I actually loved that.
- 11:58Speaker 2: That even Thomas, too, was like, you should be thanking him.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I really... Even Sean kind of backpedaled it a little
- 12:05Speaker 2: bit at one point and was like, oh, well, Marissa, like,
- 12:07Speaker 2: when you go to Dominican, like, Republic, you're not looked
- 12:12Speaker 2: down upon for not speaking Spanish. You know, I feel
- 12:14Speaker 2: like they all came to a thing eventually, in a way.
- 12:18Speaker 2: But I do feel like... Yeah, like, God forbid he, like,
- 12:21Speaker 2: have a little taste of home.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Fuck, you know? Like, it's like.
- 12:24Speaker 2: It's really crazy.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And also.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like if he's, I don't know. It is
- 12:30Speaker 2: interesting too with Marissa because the moment where he speaks
- 12:33Speaker 2: Spanish during his vows that I think we all were like,
- 12:36Speaker 2: this is great, that she just was like, yeah, speak Spanish. Like,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I'll understand. This is great. And then I'm like, oh,
- 12:41Speaker 2: but you're not cool with him speaking Spanish to his coworkers. Like,
- 12:44Speaker 2: that's interesting. It's like, yeah, it's very, it's very fucked up.
- 12:52Speaker 1: You know what the worst, this is also fucking crazy,
- 12:55Speaker 1: but like, this is 2026. This is Spanish. You're talking about.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Is the, you are trying to say that
- 13:10Speaker 1: he should not practice Spanish because it's so unused. What a,
- 13:15Speaker 1: what a just antique, just remnant of your past that
- 13:20Speaker 1: will have no rhyme or reason or place in America. Like,
- 13:24Speaker 1: All of it is so horrifying and so weird. And yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you're right. She kind of backpedals because then she's like, oh, no, no, no.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It's not about like the language thing. She was talking
- 13:34Speaker 1: about life experience. And Marissa tries to do two things.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Josh is like calling her out like, bitch, that's classist.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And she also tries to be like, well, it's also
- 13:43Speaker 1: the age. I'm 14 years older than him. And it's like,
- 13:48Speaker 1: Josh does a good job of being like, I don't,
- 13:50Speaker 1: maybe it's Thomas. And I, again, don't want to lick
- 13:53Speaker 1: thomas's balls i really don't but thomas is like you
- 13:57Speaker 1: are pitting your strengths against his weaknesses and then.
- 14:01Speaker 2: It's so true yeah yeah i was like oh you're
- 14:03Speaker 2: right thomas those were some good little nuggets from thomas
- 14:07Speaker 2: for sure and i do feel like it sucks because
- 14:11Speaker 2: i'm like i think like speaking of like rosh getting
- 14:14Speaker 2: a great edit it's like i think marissa probably got
- 14:15Speaker 2: like the worst edit on the show maybe like she's
- 14:18Speaker 2: like really painted to be like the fucking most like
- 14:23Speaker 2: just controlling her, you know, whatever, all of it. But,
- 14:27Speaker 2: and in that, in their segment of the tell, I
- 14:29Speaker 2: was kind of like, okay, maybe she, like when she
- 14:31Speaker 2: was rewatching herself on certain things, I was like, maybe
- 14:34Speaker 2: she kind of does like feel bad about how she's
- 14:36Speaker 2: acted towards him. Or like, it kind of did seem
- 14:38Speaker 2: like she was like, but then the moment of this
- 14:43Speaker 2: whole part that we're talking about with the Spanish speaking
- 14:45Speaker 2: and the, I'm more experienced. I was like, girl, you
- 14:47Speaker 2: just like, or not doing yourself any favors. You can't
- 14:51Speaker 2: help yourself.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Like it's yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And Edward, I do think is such a, he seems
- 14:55Speaker 2: like a really sweet, sweet man. And by the way, again,
- 14:58Speaker 2: like his English is really good. So it's like, sure.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Could he be more fluent? Like, sure. Also a big
- 15:04Speaker 2: pet peeve of mine when she was like, when she
- 15:07Speaker 2: was like, well, when I want to have like a
- 15:08Speaker 2: really intellectual or like deep conversation, like he doesn't get it.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And I'm just like, are you guys just like, who, like,
- 15:14Speaker 2: what are we talking about? Like our, what, what deep
- 15:17Speaker 2: intellectual conversation? I want to know the specifics. Like, is
- 15:21Speaker 2: it like, quantum physics yeah is it uh what like
- 15:26Speaker 2: what is it you know like i'm like is it
- 15:27Speaker 2: some weird like stoner rabbit hole that you want to
- 15:30Speaker 2: go down and get really deep with someone like what
- 15:32Speaker 2: can he not do because it seems like his english
- 15:34Speaker 2: is like his grasp is pretty good amazing in fact
- 15:38Speaker 2: like it's like.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Yes you know she wants yeah she just wants to
- 15:42Speaker 1: talk like art history she wants to totally talk about
- 15:45Speaker 1: warhol she wants someone that can like read Nishi. She's like, yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 2: What is it?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Talk about like throw, like what, like, is she's yeah.
- 15:53Speaker 1: So many things. She wants to watch the matrix and
- 15:56Speaker 1: talk about whether God exists. Like, you know, and he's like, yeah, I, you,
- 16:01Speaker 1: it feels at my core that she's just like, I
- 16:04Speaker 1: want to talk about the macros of my day. Like
- 16:08Speaker 1: how much protein I've gotten and whether I should give
- 16:13Speaker 1: or take five or six mil.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Like whatever, like, But it's like, again, teach him, teach
- 16:18Speaker 2: him the language of your macros. And I'm sure he
- 16:20Speaker 2: will meet you there. He seems like he is willing
- 16:22Speaker 2: to do anything for her. So it's like, it's like,
- 16:25Speaker 2: if she would only just explain the macros and the
- 16:28Speaker 2: five grams or the 10, you know what I mean? Like,
- 16:30Speaker 2: I'm like, he would, he would learn that. I bet
- 16:32Speaker 2: if he doesn't know.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It already with her hair, if you, if she sat,
- 16:36Speaker 1: if she sat down.
- 16:38Speaker 2: If she sat down, Oh my God, this is my
- 16:40Speaker 2: favorite question already. I would make her darker, not necessarily
- 16:43Speaker 2: like so, so Brown, but I would make her, I
- 16:46Speaker 2: would say dirtier blonde with some like little gold, more
- 16:50Speaker 2: golden knee highlights instead of this like white, white platinum color.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I would give her a short haircut. I mean, I wouldn't,
- 16:58Speaker 2: but I would refer her to someone to give her
- 16:59Speaker 2: a shorter haircut. I think she has a nice long neck.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I think she could like chop that shit off. Don't
- 17:05Speaker 2: wear those extensions.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I mean, it's funny because that picture with the fur coat,
- 17:10Speaker 2: I actually am like, I think she looks amazing there.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I agree.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I'm like, there I would do nothing.
- 17:16Speaker 1: No notes.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I like think it's so great. But I'm like, most
- 17:19Speaker 2: other times I'm like, yeah, no extensions. Not so, so, so,
- 17:22Speaker 2: so blonde.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Shorter. More modern. These extensions are decidedly Orange County to me. Totally.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 1: They are so Orange County.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 1: She looks so much like a low hand, you know,
- 17:36Speaker 1: like I didn't listen to early on and be like, she,
- 17:39Speaker 1: she looks like Dina Lohan and she does, you know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and it's so interesting that, like I said, that's like, yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: like they're that, that kind of Italian, she's Italian. So
- 17:46Speaker 1: she's like, has, you know, she's like a, yeah, but
- 17:49Speaker 1: it is such a fried white blonde, you know, that's just, it's.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Such a fried white blonde. I wonder how gray she is.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I wonder if like being platinum is because she's really
- 17:59Speaker 2: gray and she doesn't want to have to have that
- 18:00Speaker 2: much upkeep. because it's easier. I don't know if you
- 18:03Speaker 2: ever noticed with like Darcy and Stacey, but they're so
- 18:05Speaker 2: blonde and sometimes their roots are showing and they have
- 18:08Speaker 2: at least in the front, like a lot of white
- 18:11Speaker 2: will be showing. And so it's easier to maintain on
- 18:14Speaker 2: some level if you just go really, really blonde. But
- 18:16Speaker 2: it's like, I think there's a reason or there's a
- 18:18Speaker 2: way to do it that isn't that, that could also
- 18:21Speaker 2: be easy to maintain.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Also for people who's like whole brand is I spend
- 18:26Speaker 2: a lot of money and I'm okay with spending a
- 18:27Speaker 2: lot of money. Then it's like, well, then go get
- 18:28Speaker 2: your hair done more.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Why do you need to be low maintenance?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Clocky, clocky, clocky, clocky. Yes.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 18:38Speaker 1: She's an apartment in New York. Like, you know, like. Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 2: But also maybe she's not gray at all. Maybe I'm
- 18:44Speaker 2: just making that up. Like maybe that's, she might be,
- 18:47Speaker 2: or maybe she's, maybe she's like 50. I don't know.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Maybe she's less than maybe she is getting her hair
- 18:52Speaker 2: done all the fucking time. I don't know.
- 18:56Speaker 1: They kind of like, yeah, after we talk about them
- 18:58Speaker 1: and their language barrier and her life experience, you know,
- 19:01Speaker 1: and how people like put her to task, which is
- 19:04Speaker 1: exciting for me. We also talked about the fact that
- 19:07Speaker 1: Edward and Michael's relationship, who is her ex, and of course,
- 19:10Speaker 1: Cole and Derek's father, their relationship is absolutely horrible. And
- 19:14Speaker 1: the way they describe what happened was Michael is the
- 19:17Speaker 1: baseball coach of their son's league. And Edward knows a
- 19:19Speaker 1: lot about baseball. And it felt like a power struggle
- 19:22Speaker 1: between two men. Right? Yep. Yep.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I would say accurate all across the board.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's so interesting because the last we saw of them, obviously,
- 19:34Speaker 1: was this conversation where they were like coming together, almost
- 19:38Speaker 1: being like, you know, at first being like, listen, I'm
- 19:41Speaker 1: going to come in if things are a problem. And
- 19:42Speaker 1: then Michael being like, listen, her parents are fucking classist assholes.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 1: That's how it ended.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I thought they were going to bond.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Totally. Now, what happened was when Chris Farah, me, released,
- 19:56Speaker 1: I did like a reel where me and my friend,
- 20:00Speaker 1: one of the reality gays, were like talking about Michael's,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I mean, like shift from hot fuckable person with a
- 20:07Speaker 1: hat to not fuckable person with a hat. Edward found
- 20:11Speaker 1: that video like really entertaining. It was like, like, and
- 20:16Speaker 1: when I, and I thought, you know, it could be
- 20:18Speaker 1: considered mean. And so when to Michael, and so when
- 20:21Speaker 1: he liked it, I kind of was like, I wonder
- 20:23Speaker 1: if there's something different that like we saw, like, you know, like,
- 20:26Speaker 1: cause he seemed to be like really into like me
- 20:28Speaker 1: saying that like the scan, it's a, it's a wild shift, obviously.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Cause he looks crazy without the hat. Um, And yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's been really bad. Like Michael seems crazy. He sent
- 20:39Speaker 1: toxic texts, you know, like at 2 a.m. I'll say
- 20:44Speaker 1: one thing. If you are the coach, usually it's your way.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Like there should be a decorum that you wouldn't give notes. Like,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not as big sports person, but let
- 20:54Speaker 1: me just like in my theater headness. If there's a
- 20:56Speaker 1: director of a play, you can't just like suddenly start
- 20:59Speaker 1: giving notes to the directors, like to the other actors
- 21:01Speaker 1: being like, hey, how about if you just like move
- 21:03Speaker 1: over here for the scene? Fuck what that asshole said.
- 21:05Speaker 1: And like grab the drink and, you know, throw it
- 21:08Speaker 1: at the girl. You're like, no, asshole.
- 21:10Speaker 2: You're right.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah. So I wonder if that's like a little bit
- 21:13Speaker 1: of the same thing. And I also kind of wonder, like, Edward,
- 21:16Speaker 1: why don't you try coaching your own situation then if you,
- 21:18Speaker 1: you know.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Totally well and then I wonder it's like well are
- 21:22Speaker 2: the boys of the same exact team because there's an
- 21:24Speaker 2: age difference like maybe one I don't know I've I've
- 21:26Speaker 2: known nothing about sports so I'm like maybe yeah maybe
- 21:30Speaker 2: you could have a different team but then it's also
- 21:32Speaker 2: like maybe he's just doing it to bond with the
- 21:33Speaker 2: kids and not just for the for the love of
- 21:36Speaker 2: the game I don't know but he loves baseball yeah
- 21:41Speaker 2: she was like don't talk about baseball.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah baseball is his favorite thing.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah i i yeah it's sad to picture like two
- 21:52Speaker 2: grown men fighting at a kid's baseball practice let alone
- 21:55Speaker 2: like it doesn't even sound like it was a game
- 21:57Speaker 2: it sounds like it was just like at a practice
- 21:59Speaker 2: and it's like jesus just chill out guys michael's texts
- 22:02Speaker 2: were crazy it's like i don't know.
- 22:06Speaker 1: All the kids saw it including derrick so like derrick
- 22:09Speaker 1: saw his dad not like edward and so yeah when
- 22:12Speaker 1: sean yep so sean's like well how are the kids
- 22:14Speaker 1: and she's like well cole is like chill with him
- 22:17Speaker 1: and derrick says you know shut up and it's.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Shut up i don't want your opinion yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 1: And it's interesting i wanted sean to be like oh
- 22:27Speaker 1: your 13 year old says that to him what do
- 22:29Speaker 1: you say to your 13 year.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Old totally yeah do you tell them not to talk
- 22:33Speaker 2: to him like that yeah doesn't seem like it seems
- 22:36Speaker 2: like this is a great.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I was like she was so quick to offer that
- 22:41Speaker 1: but i almost thought she'd be like And that is
- 22:44Speaker 1: an honest thing that happened. And just so you know,
- 22:46Speaker 1: we nipped in the bud. I told him how inappropriate
- 22:49Speaker 1: it is to talk to adults. But nope, she didn't
- 22:51Speaker 1: say any of that.
- 22:52Speaker 2: No, she was like, yeah, he says that. It made
- 22:55Speaker 2: it seem like it's a repeat offense. It did not
- 22:58Speaker 2: come across as like it happened once. And it was like,
- 23:00Speaker 2: we were like, cut that shit out. It definitely seems
- 23:03Speaker 2: like it's like, yeah, and he says that regularly enough.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah, when he doesn't like his opinion. Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Poor Edward.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Edward. Yeah. So Edward's like, you know what? I, yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: I do want kids because I can sit here and
- 23:14Speaker 1: be like, oh, your kids are enough, but like, they're
- 23:17Speaker 1: not my kids. And, and I'm, I'm not saying they're
- 23:20Speaker 1: not my kids. Like, I don't want them to be,
- 23:22Speaker 1: it's like, they don't have, I, they don't have to
- 23:25Speaker 1: listen to me at all. Like I'm a, you know,
- 23:28Speaker 1: like they have no, I have no authority and they
- 23:30Speaker 1: don't respect me. So I guess, why would this be
- 23:33Speaker 1: this similar, a similar thing? This is not it, you know? Totally. Totally.
- 23:37Speaker 1: people start to go into Marissa like, Oh, he wants kids.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And she's like, yeah, you know, um, I'm old, I'm 46. So, uh,
- 23:45Speaker 1: we have to like figure it out. And then she
- 23:46Speaker 1: starts talking about how maybe there'd be an option for
- 23:49Speaker 1: a surrogacy, but that they don't have money right now.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And whether they have the money or not, you know, is,
- 23:56Speaker 1: is interesting because I can't tell Casey if she's, I
- 24:02Speaker 1: can't tell how, how financially secure she is, you know,
- 24:05Speaker 1: like I, I, Like, and I mean that in weird ways,
- 24:09Speaker 1: like the fence.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Like, any person that had, like, some discretionary income would
- 24:19Speaker 1: just get the fence fixed by someone that could fix
- 24:22Speaker 1: a fence, you know, especially if you cared it's the outside. Totally.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I think the fence is a good example of that.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I also... weirdly kind of think that her teaching bar
- 24:32Speaker 2: is an example too where it's like most of the
- 24:35Speaker 2: like super rich people that i know might take bar
- 24:39Speaker 2: a lot or might go to work at class all
- 24:41Speaker 2: the time but it's like usually they don't decide to
- 24:44Speaker 2: teach it they would never i don't think yeah it's
- 24:47Speaker 2: kind of it's like but i wonder too because it
- 24:50Speaker 2: seems like she has just like crazy family money And
- 24:53Speaker 2: so I'm like, maybe her family is like, you have
- 24:56Speaker 2: to be doing something, you know, I don't know. Maybe
- 24:58Speaker 2: they're the family. And she does work at the, at
- 25:00Speaker 2: the bridal store, which I don't know any, I don't
- 25:02Speaker 2: know anything about that like show or that world, but no, no,
- 25:08Speaker 2: but I know it's like a thing. And I'm like,
- 25:10Speaker 2: I feel like she works there and I guess she
- 25:13Speaker 2: doesn't work there anymore. I don't know if I heard
- 25:14Speaker 2: that on, on your podcast or if that was on Reddit,
- 25:17Speaker 2: but I'm like, I don't know. Yeah, I agree. I
- 25:20Speaker 2: feel like I, I really can't, pin it down maybe
- 25:23Speaker 2: like she's one of those people where it's like maybe
- 25:26Speaker 2: her parents bought her that house maybe there's like certain
- 25:28Speaker 2: areas where her parents are willing to help in areas
- 25:30Speaker 2: where they're not maybe they're not as excited about her
- 25:33Speaker 2: having kids with Edward so they're like we wouldn't pay
- 25:36Speaker 2: for a surrogate I don't know.
- 25:40Speaker 1: They take a break at this point and Shay's like
- 25:43Speaker 1: we can adopt Shay's they ever got Shay hasn't said
- 25:46Speaker 1: like hardly anything like they are you know just sit
- 25:48Speaker 1: in the corner like they really put them in like
- 25:50Speaker 1: in the back like you know they're on a different
- 25:52Speaker 1: like a different level of the stage. Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah. She's like, get a kid from the Dominican. It's like, oh, God, Shay.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I think you mean well, but Jesus, Shay, just shut
- 26:03Speaker 2: the fuck up.
- 26:04Speaker 1: If he kept talking, you'd be like, if that doesn't work,
- 26:06Speaker 1: you can try out China. Yes. Oh, yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 2: You're like, stop. Stop while you're ahead. Yeah.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Shut the fuck.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Up.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 1: This is when the big prank happens. And by prank,
- 26:18Speaker 1: you'd think that Mido would be the one because, of course,
- 26:20Speaker 1: as you know, the classic Egyptian character ritual of pranks
- 26:26Speaker 1: like you know wasn't showcased um it's a huge tradition
- 26:29Speaker 1: in egypt about pranks but this time this time it's
- 26:32Speaker 1: um rosh who decides to put on a bunch of
- 26:35Speaker 1: perfume and then go up to thomas be like hey
- 26:37Speaker 1: man then thomas like hey dude and then but he
- 26:40Speaker 1: hugs him and then thomas in real time realizes because
- 26:43Speaker 1: rosh is kind of like being like a kind of
- 26:45Speaker 1: asshole about it What happened? And Thomas calls him out. Now,
- 26:48Speaker 1: Thomas calls him out and it gets upset. And instead
- 26:51Speaker 1: of being like, you guys are fucking immature tools and
- 26:56Speaker 1: just leaving it. He gets even more upset, starts yelling,
- 27:00Speaker 1: and then it becomes too much. And then there's no
- 27:04Speaker 1: dog in the fight for either one of us. And
- 27:05Speaker 1: then we're just like, all of you guys are dumb, right?
- 27:08Speaker 1: There is.
- 27:09Speaker 2: did you think that that hug was actually that crazy?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Cause I actually didn't think it was crazy at all.
- 27:14Speaker 2: The way that like they, it was just like a
- 27:16Speaker 2: quick and Thomas makes it seem like he was like,
- 27:19Speaker 2: you know, he's like, it's got all over me. And
- 27:21Speaker 2: it's like, they literally went like that. It wasn't that
- 27:23Speaker 2: big of a deal. Like I do think this is
- 27:26Speaker 2: like Thomas's fragrance allergy. There's a part of me that's like,
- 27:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I do believe that that's real for some people. Is
- 27:34Speaker 2: it real for him?
- 27:35Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I'm I'll choose to believe him for the sake of
- 27:38Speaker 2: like whatever, but it's like, I'm kind of like, again,
- 27:40Speaker 2: just like Paula said, we do live in a normal
- 27:42Speaker 2: world where people are going to be wearing perfume sometimes.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And like, that hug wasn't that crazy. Like, was it
- 27:48Speaker 2: necessary to go yell at him and change your shirt?
- 27:50Speaker 2: Probably not. Do any of us care about this fight? Like,
- 27:53Speaker 2: not at all. You know, like, it's like, am I
- 27:55Speaker 2: on Rosh's side? Absolutely not either. Like, I just feel
- 27:58Speaker 2: like all of them are idiots.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we are on Paula's side because all we know
- 28:03Speaker 1: in this moment is that we get that you're embarrassed.
- 28:06Speaker 2: We get that you're embarrassed. Oh, my favorite though, was
- 28:09Speaker 2: then Mito coming up to Thomas after and Mito's approaching
- 28:12Speaker 2: him as if Thomas is like a rabid stray dog.
- 28:14Speaker 2: He's like, and.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Thomas is like, get away.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And Mito's like, it's so I, in that moment, I
- 28:23Speaker 2: kind of liked Mito. Cause I believe that Mito was
- 28:25Speaker 2: just trying to be like, Hey, Hey dude, like it's okay.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Like you're safe. And like, I feel like Thomas was like,
- 28:30Speaker 2: I smell you. It was so kind of, kind of
- 28:33Speaker 2: sweet in a way.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I mean, we literally saw Amito spray himself down. I've never,
- 28:38Speaker 1: I mean, with so much perfume. And at one point
- 28:40Speaker 1: it was her like Dior, Miss Dior. Like she sprayed
- 28:44Speaker 1: her Miss Dior all over him.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Oh, he's, you know, you smell him before you see him.
- 28:50Speaker 2: For sure.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, he's obviously, Thomas is upset.
- 28:56Speaker 1: And then Ross tries to like go back to him.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And then that's when Thomas is like, You know, like,
- 29:00Speaker 1: what's wrong with you? You have such insecurity. You keep spraying.
- 29:05Speaker 1: What are you trying to cover up, buddy? And he's
- 29:08Speaker 1: just like, your scent is offensive. And then it starts
- 29:13Speaker 1: to kind of feel weirdly also... maybe islamophobic i don't
- 29:20Speaker 1: know or like what's the word okay i kind.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Of agree it was a little bit like or um
- 29:24Speaker 2: yeah what is the word that we're like i i
- 29:26Speaker 2: know what you mean though because it did feel like
- 29:28Speaker 2: it felt a little it just felt a little a
- 29:32Speaker 2: little wrong and the place it was coming from yeah
- 29:35Speaker 2: yeah exactly it felt like it was coming from like
- 29:38Speaker 2: a not great place.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah like yeah yeah like oh my god
- 29:44Speaker 1: i mean thomas like your smell is an invasion he
- 29:47Speaker 1: says like just how your people and they're you're just
- 29:51Speaker 1: like oh my.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I think that yeah the saying invasion felt a little
- 29:55Speaker 2: like okay dude like a little too far that was
- 29:57Speaker 2: definitely a little too far.
- 29:59Speaker 1: He's like, what are you compensating for? I wish Rosh
- 30:01Speaker 1: had been like, my parents live in a tent.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yeah, he I mean, I wish that also Rosh was
- 30:11Speaker 2: not who he is. And like, wouldn't have gone in
- 30:13Speaker 2: and be like, like, you know, it's like, everyone just
- 30:18Speaker 2: like all that whole fight felt very everyone shut up
- 30:20Speaker 2: to me.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah, even Mallory. I'm like, Mallory, don't defend your dumb
- 30:24Speaker 1: asshole too.
- 30:25Speaker 2: The only one you're right whose side we're on is
- 30:27Speaker 2: Paula being like, I'm embarrassed. She's acting like a crazy person.
- 30:30Speaker 2: You're like, you're right. Yeah, it's embarrassing. He's acting like
- 30:32Speaker 2: a crazy person.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And Paula also says, and I know he's right. Totally. Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And I still am embarrassed.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yes. All of that.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yes. Like, yes. Is it fucked up for someone to
- 30:42Speaker 2: go up to someone with a fragrance allergy and try
- 30:44Speaker 2: to be like, smell my fragrance? Sure.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Sure.
- 30:48Speaker 2: But it's like Thomas is also just being a little
- 30:50Speaker 2: bitch about it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I don't know. Yes. Yeah. God, if he had just
- 30:53Speaker 1: called them out and been like, guys, I know what
- 30:55Speaker 1: you fucking did. And it's wildly dumb. And then just
- 30:58Speaker 1: turned his back and then whatever, wiped off wherever he
- 31:00Speaker 1: thought it and then went on his goddamn day. Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 1: But that's not what happened. Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 1: But Katie, I'll tell you, no one is more offensed,
- 31:09Speaker 1: has more insult than Katie. Katie is just like, honey,
- 31:12Speaker 1: let me tell you. He's like old. I would not
- 31:16Speaker 1: make out with him. This is Katie talking. He's a
- 31:19Speaker 1: man child. This is Katie who was like, I like Mito.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Mito's hot. She's like, Thomas is gross. I'd have to
- 31:27Speaker 1: be fucking sure. She says two things.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I would not make out with him.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I would not make out with him. Well, I would
- 31:35Speaker 1: have to be sure. Which, girl, you would be. And
- 31:40Speaker 1: you will be.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And we see that you will be on this tell-all
- 31:43Speaker 2: at some point.
- 31:43Speaker 1: So it's like. So you are going to make love
- 31:45Speaker 1: to him? So you are then.
- 31:48Speaker 2: It's so, I am so happy that you screenshot all
- 31:52Speaker 2: of those because that was something that I really enjoyed
- 31:54Speaker 2: also was her about face of just being like, he
- 31:59Speaker 2: is disgusting. I wouldn't, well, I'd have to be shit-faced.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I'd do it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: It's like, girl, that's all you do is get shit-faced
- 32:05Speaker 1: and make out with people. Like, what do you mean?
- 32:07Speaker 2: And you've made out with grosser people than him. Surely.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Surely. God, so fucking lutely.
- 32:12Speaker 2: He's not even that bad looking. You think if she
- 32:13Speaker 2: met Thomas at Run Club?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Oh, totally.
- 32:15Speaker 2: If she met him at Run Club, she would be
- 32:16Speaker 2: making out with him 100 fucking percent.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I know.
- 32:19Speaker 2: It's only because she saw him on this show. That's
- 32:21Speaker 2: the only reason.
- 32:24Speaker 1: That's true. That's true. I think if they made out,
- 32:27Speaker 1: if she hooks up with him, if that's what happens
- 32:29Speaker 1: in the tell-all part two... I will think it's one
- 32:31Speaker 1: of the best shows on television. Again, I think it
- 32:32Speaker 1: will get, I think it will deserve an Emmy.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:39Speaker 1: So back on break, Sean says, Thomas, you got a
- 32:42Speaker 1: new shirt and you know, uh-huh. You know, basically he's
- 32:49Speaker 1: made to look like an asshole. We move on to
- 32:51Speaker 1: Shane Annabelle. She's cleaning all day. She's met some Filipino people,
- 32:54Speaker 1: which is great. She says that she loves a man,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know, she will take good care of him. And then,
- 32:59Speaker 1: you know, john asks who will wants a scrub to
- 33:03Speaker 1: the fellow men and edward raises his hand and no
- 33:07Speaker 1: one ever clocks.
- 33:07Speaker 2: It i don't even think i clocked it but yeah
- 33:12Speaker 2: he's like i'd love some affection.
- 33:21Speaker 1: You know like max was like that's like nah you
- 33:23Speaker 1: know like i don't you know like but yeah like
- 33:25Speaker 1: literally edward i mean she asked like who here want
- 33:27Speaker 1: to scrub edward's hand was like It was so fast.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I love it.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I love it.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Unless I wouldn't touch him. She'll hose him down with
- 33:37Speaker 1: the thing that she'll do.
- 33:40Speaker 2: You and the dog. She'll put him in front of
- 33:41Speaker 2: that fence and just hose you down. Yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Okay. So then we get Allison. Allison walks in. Allison's
- 33:51Speaker 1: wearing like a lavender jumper, you know, which I'm also
- 33:53Speaker 1: kind of like at low key was kind of like
- 33:55Speaker 1: a similar color of what Sean's wearing. And that just
- 33:58Speaker 1: goes to show that there is not to me, a
- 34:00Speaker 1: cohesive dresser on set. Yep.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Totally.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Well, yeah. I mean, everyone looks, I don't know. Like,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I feel like this and this is so similar. Yeah.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I agree. It's like, yeah. Um, but I do think
- 34:13Speaker 1: that she looks good. Um, she, you know, you can
- 34:16Speaker 1: really tell she had to do her own hair.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Um, yeah.
- 34:19Speaker 1: She basically, we had gotten them to a healthy place,
- 34:24Speaker 1: and now it seems like it's regressed. Annabelle is back
- 34:27Speaker 1: to giving kind of like a resting bitch face, even
- 34:30Speaker 1: though I do like this lip, and it gives Katie lip.
- 34:32Speaker 1: And you can tell that she got her makeup done.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Look at these falsies on Annabelle. She looks great, yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I don't believe the drama between her and Allison for
- 34:40Speaker 2: a second. I think that they're fucking thick as thieves.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I agree.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And I love that for them.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I do think that Nicole is crazy.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I think so too. I think Nicole is crazy.
- 34:51Speaker 2: I think that I like that Alison stood up for
- 34:55Speaker 2: Annabelle so hard in that segment. I was like really
- 34:58Speaker 2: happy for everyone there. Cause I was like, yeah, good.
- 35:02Speaker 2: She was like, I think saying all the things that
- 35:05Speaker 2: like Annabelle kind of not can't say because she can't
- 35:09Speaker 2: say them, but just that she like maybe wouldn't say,
- 35:11Speaker 2: cause they're not it sounds better coming from like a
- 35:14Speaker 2: third party where she's like, you're not a fucking girl's girl. Like,
- 35:16Speaker 2: why would you even entertain him? Like all that stuff.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I was like, yes. Like, cause Alison saying it doesn't
- 35:21Speaker 2: come across as like jealous. It just comes across as like,
- 35:24Speaker 2: all of this is true.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Why would you entertain it? If you know that he's
- 35:29Speaker 2: involved with someone who doesn't, you know, I don't know.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I agree. Nicole's crazy, but I don't believe that the
- 35:33Speaker 2: drama between Alison and Annabelle is real.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I completely agree with you. And also, yeah, Alison being like,
- 35:41Speaker 1: you're not a fucking girl's girl because you made my dad,
- 35:45Speaker 1: not made, you cheated on my mom with my dad.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 35:48Speaker 1: What are you talking about? What are you talking about? Yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah. That was, I loved it. I loved it. And
- 35:54Speaker 2: I do feel bad for Annabelle in that situation. Cause
- 35:56Speaker 2: as much as I think, Hey, my dog's coming in.
- 35:59Speaker 2: As much as I think that, uh, Nicole's kind of crazy.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I also think that like Shay kind of, it does
- 36:08Speaker 2: seem untrustworthy and kind of sucks in that way and
- 36:10Speaker 2: has clearly done things that like anyone in a relationship
- 36:13Speaker 2: with him would be super pissed about. So it's like, yeah,
- 36:16Speaker 2: I feel bad for Annabelle.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Half of me feels like Annabelle knows all or does
- 36:20Speaker 1: not care. Annabelle wanted, I think that Annabelle wants Shay
- 36:23Speaker 1: and she wants to, you know, like live here with
- 36:25Speaker 1: Shay and she wants, and she has accepted that she's
- 36:27Speaker 1: going to take care of her man and make sure
- 36:29Speaker 1: that like her life is, is what she has control over,
- 36:32Speaker 1: which is that her man's body is clean physically. She wants,
- 36:36Speaker 1: if she's going to sleep next to this human body,
- 36:38Speaker 1: it's going to physically be clean. Yeah. And good for her. Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I fucking love it for her. I'm like, yeah, it
- 36:46Speaker 2: seems like she, yeah, it seems like they both enjoy
- 36:50Speaker 2: the aspect of bathing, the bathing ritual that they have
- 36:53Speaker 2: going on. I'm like, great.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I mean, I would do, would you scrub your man?
- 37:01Speaker 2: I would let scrubbed. Like if, if I was on
- 37:05Speaker 2: that stage and they're like, who would like to be scrubbed?
- 37:07Speaker 2: I'd be like, I would definitely like to be scrubbed.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I would scrub my man for sure. But I like, don't,
- 37:16Speaker 2: I would scrub Josh for sure. That's not what I
- 37:21Speaker 2: necessarily am. Like, I would rather get the scrubbing, you know?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nicole, obviously, I mean, to
- 37:31Speaker 1: go back and forth with what Nicole does is just dumb.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Let me just, obviously what happens is Nicole has a
- 37:35Speaker 1: bunch of texts where she basically is like, you can't
- 37:38Speaker 1: trust him. He said that he was always going to
- 37:39Speaker 1: keep a dirty picture of me hidden in his hidden folder.
- 37:42Speaker 1: And would you ever trust a man doing that? And
- 37:44Speaker 1: Annabelle's like, whatever. And then Nicole's like, all right, how
- 37:48Speaker 1: about this? All right. He said that one time that
- 37:51Speaker 1: you were really mad at him. And then he said
- 37:53Speaker 1: that he wishes he had fucked me that night. What
- 37:55Speaker 1: are you gonna do about that? And Annabelle's like, so
- 37:57Speaker 1: we didn't.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Okay yeah yeah well even yeah that text message i'm
- 38:01Speaker 2: like obviously there's a bit of like cheekiness in there
- 38:05Speaker 2: where like you know what i mean like he's like
- 38:07Speaker 2: yeah she's fucking pissed at me i wish i would
- 38:08Speaker 2: have just done something now because she's already pissed at
- 38:10Speaker 2: me anyway like i feel like we all can are
- 38:13Speaker 2: like smart enough to like read between those lines and
- 38:16Speaker 2: she's like this is my gotcha and it's like it's
- 38:18Speaker 2: not really a good gotcha like it's kind of like
- 38:20Speaker 2: yeah okay i would again would someone be like annoyed
- 38:23Speaker 2: that like their dude said that yeah but it's like
- 38:27Speaker 2: you also literally said, but we didn't have sex. And
- 38:30Speaker 2: it's like, okay, great. So you didn't, so you didn't
- 38:32Speaker 2: have that. Like what?
- 38:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:33Speaker 2: We were talking about girl. She's crazy. Also like, I
- 38:37Speaker 2: respect that she's growing out her gray hair, but I'm like,
- 38:40Speaker 2: cut it off. Like cut it. I right now she's
- 38:43Speaker 2: at an awkward length. Sure. But I'm like, you just figure,
- 38:45Speaker 2: I don't know. There's something that I, I'm like looking
- 38:48Speaker 2: at the screen and I'm like, I don't think it's
- 38:49Speaker 2: going to look, I think she should just keep coloring it.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 38:52Speaker 2: That's beside the point.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I actually, yeah, I, okay. So yeah, I like her.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I like her gray hair, but you're right. Yeah. Cut
- 38:59Speaker 1: out all the brassy, whatever is happening in the bottom
- 39:02Speaker 1: and give her like a chic because yeah, she has
- 39:06Speaker 1: some waves. Yeah. And she has a long ass lot
- 39:08Speaker 1: of hair. Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 2: She could cut it and it would look definitely color
- 39:12Speaker 2: wise a little better, I think. But, but as I'm
- 39:14Speaker 2: looking at it, I just, I'm trying to like block
- 39:16Speaker 2: out the part that's the brassy color.
- 39:19Speaker 1: And I'm like, I don't, I don't know. We'll see.
- 39:20Speaker 2: We'll see what it looks like when it's all gray.
- 39:22Speaker 2: I'm sure this is not the last we're going to
- 39:23Speaker 2: see of, of good old Nicole.
- 39:25Speaker 1: So. Wait, I have a question for you. Do you
- 39:27Speaker 1: see that? She has a tattoo on her shoulder. and
- 39:30Speaker 1: it looks like it says trash.
- 39:32Speaker 2: It sure does.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Yep.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yep. I'm seeing that. I'm seeing that also. I didn't
- 39:38Speaker 2: clock that, but yes, I am. I am definitely seeing that.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Um, so obviously Annabelle cries a little bit, but like,
- 39:45Speaker 1: you know, she's not going to leave her man. We
- 39:47Speaker 1: know that, um, she just doesn't care. We move on
- 39:51Speaker 1: because she comes off cross is like crazy and is
- 39:54Speaker 1: wanting her. So she just sort of leaves and it's
- 39:56Speaker 1: like a moot point for her.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:59Speaker 1: This is one of my favorite parts too. And this
- 40:00Speaker 1: is what it is. Basically what happens is Rosh in
- 40:02Speaker 1: a break goes up to Sean and he's like, how
- 40:04Speaker 1: old are you? Okay. And I mean, Sean, it's like, what,
- 40:08Speaker 1: what are, what did you just ask me? What the,
- 40:10Speaker 1: what did you just ask me? Sean's face when he
- 40:12Speaker 1: asks her is shocked. Like, two things are happening. A,
- 40:16Speaker 1: it looks like she got, she had just gotten the
- 40:17Speaker 1: freshest bleph because her eyes are as open as open
- 40:21Speaker 1: can be, honey. She can't even deal with what she heard.
- 40:24Speaker 1: She is like, how, who raised you? And she says,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm 63. And he is just like, what is your secret?
- 40:36Speaker 2: And she looks like she wants to roll the fucking
- 40:38Speaker 2: car window up on him and like not ever. Like
- 40:42Speaker 2: she truly is like, please shut the fuck up.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You are so right. She doesn't say anything. He says,
- 40:48Speaker 1: tell me. She won't. She's like, no.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Also, she's 63. I had no idea. She looks so good. Like,
- 40:57Speaker 2: I am like, damn, she looks great.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, like, what in the Isabel Rossellini death becomes her potion? Like,
- 41:02Speaker 1: you know, that's why he knows. He's like, tell me.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Yeah, tell me. Tell me. Tell me. Nope.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I loved.
- 41:10Speaker 2: That was my favorite part of the whole show. I
- 41:13Speaker 2: loved it.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I love that she wouldn't tell. And I love that. Yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 1: she she was trying so hard to deal with how
- 41:18Speaker 1: offended she was that he had asked her. But also, yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 1: like so that that just I don't know, that tickled me.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Beyond. And then I feel like Mallory in the background,
- 41:27Speaker 2: like he does this all the time. And I'm like,
- 41:29Speaker 2: I love picturing him just going out to people in
- 41:31Speaker 2: Alabama being like, how old are you?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Yeah. you know like 45 and then but then he's
- 41:36Speaker 1: like she's like how old are you and he says
- 41:38Speaker 1: you know like whatever 29 or whatever he's like and
- 41:41Speaker 1: she's like and then she doesn't know what to say
- 41:42Speaker 1: about that because she didn't really care so you know
- 41:45Speaker 1: because she was just trying to like get the get
- 41:47Speaker 1: it off of her so then she's like oh and
- 41:50Speaker 1: then he and then he's like okay well uh i
- 41:53Speaker 1: know i look older and she's like.
- 41:54Speaker 2: No yeah yeah she's like anyways can can kelsey the
- 41:59Speaker 2: pa come and save me from this please I know.
- 42:02Speaker 1: She's like, Kelsey, first of all, you never let anyone
- 42:04Speaker 1: talk to me again.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, Kelsey's corner is like, Sean was really mean to
- 42:11Speaker 2: me today, guys. I don't know if I can do
- 42:12Speaker 2: Kelsey's corner. After Rosh came up to her, I gotta
- 42:16Speaker 2: take a break.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I got slapped. She slapped me.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yeah, she fucking slapped me. Ugh.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Usually we have to like form a barrier around her
- 42:24Speaker 1: so that people don't talk to her during break and
- 42:26Speaker 1: then you know that was the one time honey i
- 42:28Speaker 1: had to pee and then rosh.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I was too busy putting nicole's phone back and and
- 42:33Speaker 2: rosh just snuck in there right away.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Yeah he came in like a bat out of hell
- 42:37Speaker 1: in the middle of the night honey and he's just
- 42:39Speaker 1: like i just yeah he he is a little devil
- 42:42Speaker 1: though i mean he really is.
- 42:43Speaker 2: He is he is a little devil that's such so
- 42:47Speaker 2: he is he is.
- 42:49Speaker 1: So we get back to life, honey. And Josh is,
- 42:54Speaker 1: you know, we go, we move back to Katie and Josh.
- 42:56Speaker 1: So he is not earning anything. He's not working, but
- 42:59Speaker 1: he wants to do journalism, which I thought was interesting.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Cause I was like, did you have a journalism major?
- 43:07Speaker 1: Are you going to write for a newspaper? What topic?
- 43:10Speaker 1: Like politically feels like there's a lot more like, because
- 43:14Speaker 1: in my mind, I kind of think that he wants
- 43:15Speaker 1: to be an influencer, but that was his like smart
- 43:17Speaker 1: way of saying it.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah. He's like, I want to do TikTok journalism.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Which is what I do basically. It's going
- 43:24Speaker 1: green screen.
- 43:24Speaker 2: You do the hard, you talk about the hard shit.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I'm like, you do. Yeah. Listen, there's only one of us, Josh.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Literally get out of the way, Josh. No, you're right.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I didn't even really think about that. I was kind
- 43:38Speaker 2: of like, I think it's like, I'm so distracted by
- 43:43Speaker 2: Katie that I couldn't even like, it didn't even sink
- 43:47Speaker 2: in that he was like saying something that is probably
- 43:49Speaker 2: Katie probably is right of like, I don't know. There's,
- 43:52Speaker 2: I have two minds about that though, too, where like,
- 43:54Speaker 2: he's like, I want to be a journalist. And it's like, yes,
- 43:56Speaker 2: you could ask, did you go to school for it?
- 43:58Speaker 2: You could ask, are you going to be able to
- 43:59Speaker 2: make money from that? There's like so many followup questions
- 44:01Speaker 2: that I think Katie and Chris Farah are asking. But
- 44:05Speaker 2: I also am like, if Josh has this like family money,
- 44:09Speaker 2: then it's kind of like, I don't know. Maybe he
- 44:10Speaker 2: just doesn't need to make money yet.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Katie.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you agree? Or do you think that it's like,
- 44:15Speaker 2: it's like he should be still trying to work towards it.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Cause I'm like, okay, well, if, if he has inherited
- 44:21Speaker 2: this money, then now is a good time for him
- 44:23Speaker 2: to explore his passions. I would say if he's like,
- 44:26Speaker 2: you know, it's like, try some shit, see what sticks.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, what is their finances? Is it even 50,
- 44:32Speaker 1: 50 split? Like, does he, does he do 50% of
- 44:35Speaker 1: the rent? Like, does he do 50% of the groceries?
- 44:38Speaker 1: You know, because I was wildly shocked that he was like,
- 44:42Speaker 1: I can't buy the fancy eggs I want because she
- 44:44Speaker 1: wants me to buy the cheap eggs. Cause I thought
- 44:46Speaker 1: to myself, well, if you have your own money, then
- 44:47Speaker 1: you'll be buying the eggs you want to buy. I'm assuming.
- 44:49Speaker 2: 100%. But I also wonder if that was a principal
- 44:52Speaker 2: thing where she's like, I on principle don't want you
- 44:54Speaker 2: to buy the fancy eggs. And that was like, you know,
- 44:58Speaker 2: but again, you're right if it's his money. But I
- 45:00Speaker 2: also just feel like he's like a little bit, he's
- 45:02Speaker 2: a little bit of a, you know, he's a little
- 45:04Speaker 2: bitch when it comes to her, especially. So it's like,
- 45:06Speaker 2: he's like, okay, I won't buy the, I'll buy the
- 45:08Speaker 2: cruelty eggs. I'll buy the specifically cruel eggs because there's
- 45:11Speaker 2: fucking one cent an egg.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Sure. Double bleached egg.
- 45:15Speaker 2: You know, I'll buy it. It's not even a real egg. Yeah.
- 45:20Speaker 1: It's like genetically modified egg.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Um, he's yeah. So he, he also lets it be known. Yeah.
- 45:27Speaker 1: That he is renting an office space. It's $ 800 a month.
- 45:34Speaker 1: And she lets it be known. It's like, yeah, he
- 45:36Speaker 1: got it from his family. Mommy, like she, airs his
- 45:39Speaker 1: business about his family's money, like real fast. Like he's
- 45:42Speaker 1: not allowed to answer that, which I thought was interesting. Also,
- 45:46Speaker 1: he does admit that he did it to get away
- 45:48Speaker 1: from her. And then for some reason, Sean's like, what,
- 45:51Speaker 1: why would you do that? And then he's like, we
- 45:53Speaker 1: live in a studio. She has dogs. Also, have you
- 45:56Speaker 1: seen her?
- 45:58Speaker 2: That's to me the part that like, yeah, you're like,
- 46:01Speaker 2: even if Katie was really chill and like, really like,
- 46:05Speaker 2: Even if Katie was, you know, even if they had
- 46:07Speaker 2: a different dynamic in the relationship to be in a
- 46:10Speaker 2: studio with someone and like trying to do any work
- 46:12Speaker 2: seems kind of crazy. Like it does seem like that
- 46:15Speaker 2: should be a decent answer of like, yeah, I have
- 46:17Speaker 2: to like be alone for this. I guess he maybe
- 46:19Speaker 2: could have said it nicer, but it's like, yes, to
- 46:21Speaker 2: get away from Katie and all the dogs and being
- 46:23Speaker 2: in the fucking studio. Like what is weird about that?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like if he was, I think, a little
- 46:29Speaker 1: more specific about what the fuck he was doing and
- 46:31Speaker 1: he doesn't want to say a sub stack or whatever. Like,
- 46:33Speaker 1: you know, I think that that's why it was confusing
- 46:35Speaker 1: of what you need this space for.
- 46:37Speaker 2: You know, that's true. That's very true. Because, yeah, if
- 46:40Speaker 2: you're just doing a sub stack, then maybe it does
- 46:43Speaker 2: seem like, well, you should possibly be able to get.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:46Speaker 2: But if Katie's home all day because she's a pet sitter.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Then it's like, yeah, it's still a studio with like
- 46:51Speaker 2: four dogs or whatever.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I just I do. I feel like Josh. There was
- 46:58Speaker 2: also a moment like I do feel like Josh has
- 47:00Speaker 2: kind of won everyone's hearts in a weird way where
- 47:02Speaker 2: like the moment when they were like, Josh is so nice.
- 47:05Speaker 2: And Katie's like, he's not that nice. And everyone's like, no,
- 47:07Speaker 2: he's really nice. And it's like no one on this
- 47:09Speaker 2: fucking stage and no one off the stage me knows him.
- 47:13Speaker 2: But we all just think Josh is so nice for
- 47:15Speaker 2: some reason. And I do feel like, yeah, this I'm
- 47:18Speaker 2: I'm kind of like realizing that in real time being like, oh, yeah,
- 47:21Speaker 2: I'm just like defending Josh and his eight hundred dollar
- 47:23Speaker 2: office space and his sub stack journalism for no reason.
- 47:28Speaker 1: She's like, you promised you'd make money. I'm like, well,
- 47:32Speaker 1: what are you? Are you like a sugar baby? Is
- 47:34Speaker 1: this why you're with him? And then I'm like, is
- 47:36Speaker 1: there a part of Katie that's like, I'm going to
- 47:38Speaker 1: be with him because he's like some rich person? But
- 47:42Speaker 1: then is he rich? Because the answer is no to me.
- 47:45Speaker 1: And this is why. If his parents came for money,
- 47:48Speaker 1: if he came for money, his parents came for money,
- 47:49Speaker 1: there's no realm in which rich people would get off
- 47:52Speaker 1: a fucking plane from London and then let any red-haired,
- 47:55Speaker 1: freckled youngster be like, get to work for this wedding.
- 47:58Speaker 2: So true.
- 48:00Speaker 1: What? No, get your fucking friends. Get that Danica to
- 48:02Speaker 1: come here and do this goddamn setup.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Or we'll give you some money to do a day
- 48:08Speaker 2: of planner or something.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 48:10Speaker 2: I won't give her anything.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:16Speaker 2: And okay, but back to your point also of, of like,
- 48:20Speaker 2: we as Americans typically think that British people are like,
- 48:23Speaker 2: so smart. And like, whatever. It's like, maybe Katie also
- 48:26Speaker 2: has a little bit of that affliction. And she was like,
- 48:29Speaker 2: you're British, you're gonna get a like finance job right away,
- 48:32Speaker 2: even if you've never done it. Like, Pete, like, maybe
- 48:35Speaker 2: she also, yeah, maybe she was like, you're gonna be
- 48:38Speaker 2: able to like provide a stable income because you're British.
- 48:41Speaker 2: And I don't know. I believe that. I believe it too.
- 48:46Speaker 1: She obviously thinks that his career is unimportant and important.
- 48:49Speaker 1: He has problems with her drunkenness. Her friends come out,
- 48:52Speaker 1: Ryan and Danica. Um, and they're like, they, I mean, listen,
- 48:55Speaker 1: Danica comes as an enemy.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I agree.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Yes. God.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:03Speaker 1: That's a foe. Yes. She's like, let me tell you. Um,
- 49:07Speaker 1: she's constantly complaining that her marriage is boring. She says
- 49:10Speaker 1: he's never around. We're like, You hate her, Danica, right?
- 49:15Speaker 2: You hate her.
- 49:17Speaker 1: You hate her. Is Danica's thing think she wants to
- 49:21Speaker 1: be her.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Maybe she wants to be her.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Be her.
- 49:23Speaker 2: I feel like she has an equal part of like,
- 49:27Speaker 2: that's just so Katie. And also this, like, but let
- 49:30Speaker 2: me tell you how evil Katie, you know, it's like,
- 49:32Speaker 2: it feels really very frenemy, very foe, very fucked up.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I agree. I know. And I hate to say this.
- 49:39Speaker 1: I think it's like, I think that Katie has some
- 49:42Speaker 1: issues that, that keep her from having true lasting relationships
- 49:47Speaker 1: that are deep and strong with people that like have
- 49:49Speaker 1: the capability to do that. And so there could be
- 49:52Speaker 1: a situation where instead she has these hanger honors and
- 49:55Speaker 1: they're hanging on for whatever reason, their own agenda. And
- 49:58Speaker 1: if Danica's agenda is Katie is makes fun things happen
- 50:03Speaker 1: if I'm around her or is crazy, or I feel
- 50:05Speaker 1: better about myself when I'm around her because she's what I,
- 50:09Speaker 1: so many things, whatever it is, or I want to
- 50:10Speaker 1: be her, you know, or, you know, like I've always
- 50:13Speaker 1: wanted red hair and the pet sit. I can't do it.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You know?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Yeah. I also feel like the moment when she was like,
- 50:22Speaker 2: when she's like, well, you know, she made out with
- 50:24Speaker 2: three people that I saw. And it's like, yeah, you're
- 50:26Speaker 2: coming and telling on her right off the bat. Like
- 50:28Speaker 2: Josh said, he only saw one and you're coming here
- 50:31Speaker 2: saying I saw three. And it's like, it's very, yeah,
- 50:34Speaker 2: it's Danica does not seem like a real person. also
- 50:39Speaker 2: just again, because I think not a girl's girl. And
- 50:43Speaker 2: also I think the fact that we all from watching
- 50:46Speaker 2: her and from even just like kind of seeing her
- 50:49Speaker 2: reactions to seeing herself Katie's when she sees herself being
- 50:52Speaker 2: so drunk and it's so embarrassing. And she admits on
- 50:55Speaker 2: the show that oftentimes she wakes up the next day
- 50:57Speaker 2: and thinks like, Oh God, what did I do? Do
- 50:59Speaker 2: I have to apologize? Like we all see that behavior
- 51:01Speaker 2: and we're all kind of like, you seem like you
- 51:04Speaker 2: might have a problem with this. And it doesn't seem
- 51:06Speaker 2: like Danica, uh, has had that conversation with her or
- 51:10Speaker 2: that thought of it seems like she's kind of like
- 51:13Speaker 2: that's katie she's just our she's just a little mess
- 51:16Speaker 2: and i and i just watch it i just watch
- 51:18Speaker 2: it all go down it's like i feel like if
- 51:19Speaker 2: she were a real friend she would be like i
- 51:21Speaker 2: mean i guess she does say that she tried to
- 51:22Speaker 2: cut her off from the champagne that night but it's
- 51:24Speaker 2: like i don't know she just seems yeah not a girl.
- 51:27Speaker 1: It was performative i feel like it was like this
- 51:29Speaker 1: katie stop drinking you can't drink anymore katie you guys
- 51:33Speaker 1: look at katie she's totally you can't like that's like.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Her version of right yes yes oh my god yes
- 51:38Speaker 2: totally she's like and i was there to say take
- 51:42Speaker 2: the champagne away you can't have that anymore like yeah
- 51:45Speaker 2: you're so right.
- 51:46Speaker 1: But i can't help it because let me tell you
- 51:48Speaker 1: about katie katie has this thing where she gets a
- 51:50Speaker 1: crush on someone and when katie gets a crush on
- 51:52Speaker 1: someone just like the guy that she that she hooked
- 51:53Speaker 1: up with which was obviously after she got married to
- 51:55Speaker 1: you when she gets a crush on someone it's about
- 51:58Speaker 1: the chase she won't stop until she gets her crush
- 52:00Speaker 1: and that's what happens every time josh Yeah. Anyway, one
- 52:04Speaker 1: time I was the crush anyway. Um, I don't think
- 52:07Speaker 1: you're like, what girl you're just like, you know, then, okay.
- 52:10Speaker 1: So that all happens. Okay. So there's two things. And
- 52:14Speaker 1: I know I'm being a little confusing. There is of
- 52:15Speaker 1: course the scene we watched when she met with her
- 52:17Speaker 1: run club and that thing happened with the one guy.
- 52:20Speaker 1: And it was like, you know, the one we saw.
- 52:22Speaker 1: And then of course the New Year's Eve run club
- 52:24Speaker 1: party that happens after that they're referencing in the tell-all,
- 52:27Speaker 1: but they do show what they showed on camera, the
- 52:32Speaker 1: first run club meeting. And Josh's face when he is
- 52:38Speaker 1: watching and Katie's face when she is watching are very interesting.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Katie's face is like she's kind of excited, giddily watching
- 52:50Speaker 1: something fun she did a long time ago that might
- 52:53Speaker 1: be embarrassing and might be cringy, but also is sort
- 52:57Speaker 1: of like fun.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Cookie fun, yeah.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Now his face. He is hunched over. He is holding
- 53:05Speaker 1: and barreling his hands right by his chin. He has
- 53:08Speaker 1: a smile and smirk in his eyes and on his lips.
- 53:13Speaker 1: He looks like he is watching the most. Yeah, exactly, girl.
- 53:21Speaker 1: He's pitching a tent. He is engrossed in it. He
- 53:26Speaker 1: can watch this scene for 14 hours. He loves it.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Yeah, he's engrossed. yeah oh it's so this is the
- 53:35Speaker 2: journalism that we need because I really did not also
- 53:38Speaker 2: did not clock this face and now seeing it I'm
- 53:39Speaker 2: like oh my god yeah he's like he's he doesn't
- 53:43Speaker 2: look horrified that's for.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Sure yeah no no he's not.
- 53:47Speaker 2: And then afterwards he said oh I never saw that
- 53:49Speaker 2: before and it's like well I bet you're gonna watch
- 53:51Speaker 2: it again I bet you will.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Be watching that. Can I get the footage just because
- 53:54Speaker 1: I didn't get to watch it before? Just I'm going
- 53:59Speaker 1: to put it in the same folder that Shay has
- 54:01Speaker 1: those Nicole nudies.
- 54:02Speaker 2: He's like, Shay, can you show me how to do that?
- 54:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Hidden folder. Do you have a hidden folder?
- 54:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I do have a hidden folder.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Of course. Who doesn't?
- 54:14Speaker 2: Come on.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Okay, good. Should we show them? Yeah, online. I'll just
- 54:19Speaker 1: upload it off my Patreon. Make sure you join.
- 54:23Speaker 2: And that's the month.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I know. $ 45 for one day. No, I'm just kidding.
- 54:27Speaker 1: But yeah, so right after he also, he like also
- 54:31Speaker 1: chastises Katie. He's like, Katie, and also you are smiling
- 54:33Speaker 1: the whole time you're watching. You think it's a joke.
- 54:35Speaker 1: And she kind of did. But also I want her
- 54:37Speaker 1: to be like, and bitch, you loved it. But then
- 54:39Speaker 1: Katie does the Katie thing that we're going to like,
- 54:41Speaker 1: talk about and it's also one of the craziest moments
- 54:44Speaker 1: to me and i know that you know that it
- 54:46Speaker 1: happened to we referenced it is that she is watching
- 54:49Speaker 1: this watching that he says that and then she's finally
- 54:53Speaker 1: just like why don't you dump me why are you
- 55:03Speaker 1: still with me then why yeah yeah I try and
- 55:09Speaker 1: put what he says. I'm sorry. Oh, that's when the thing, no,
- 55:12Speaker 1: he goes like this. He's like, well, I just think
- 55:14Speaker 1: that when you marry someone, you have to allow them
- 55:17Speaker 1: to make mistakes. You marry the core person. That's like,
- 55:22Speaker 1: he's wrong.
- 55:23Speaker 2: He's literally wrong. I'm so sorry, Josh, but you're wrong.
- 55:28Speaker 2: He's like seeing the potential in her. And it's like,
- 55:31Speaker 2: you can't, be with someone for their potential. It's a
- 55:34Speaker 2: great thing to see in someone, but it's like, you
- 55:36Speaker 2: are with who you are with in the, in that moment.
- 55:39Speaker 2: And it's like, will they, will she ever change? You
- 55:41Speaker 2: don't fucking know. Like, that's why you can't get married
- 55:44Speaker 2: to someone thinking that they're going to change their behaviors necessarily.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Like you're married. So we, you are the expert. Like
- 55:51Speaker 1: I'm assuming the only things you can trust are the
- 55:53Speaker 1: way this person makes you feel and their behavior. And like,
- 55:58Speaker 1: hopefully you realize that, on the whole, this person makes
- 56:02Speaker 1: you feel good, happy, or like safe or at home or,
- 56:06Speaker 1: you know, peace in some way. And that like, yeah, like,
- 56:13Speaker 1: and that all in all that this person treats you
- 56:18Speaker 1: like you matter and you have respect and they care
- 56:21Speaker 1: about not only you, but the life and world and
- 56:25Speaker 1: relationship that you've built together. Like I'm assuming that's baseline. Yeah.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I would imagine that that should be baseline. I feel
- 56:33Speaker 2: like at a bare minimum, it's like, can you trust
- 56:36Speaker 2: that person to not? And again, maybe they actually have
- 56:42Speaker 2: some other arrangement that we don't know about, but I
- 56:44Speaker 2: don't think so. Based on this show, it seems like
- 56:46Speaker 2: whatever it seems like if what we're seeing is to
- 56:48Speaker 2: be taken at face value, then it's like, yeah, at
- 56:51Speaker 2: the bare minimum, maybe you want to marry someone who
- 56:53Speaker 2: isn't going to like totally like break your heart every
- 56:56Speaker 2: time you go to a bar with them because they
- 56:58Speaker 2: are gonna drink way way more than you want them
- 57:02Speaker 2: to be drinking and make out with everyone who they
- 57:04Speaker 2: can get their hands on like all that stuff is
- 57:06Speaker 2: like you can't marry that person like that person is
- 57:10Speaker 2: is again not gonna unless they like yeah really have
- 57:14Speaker 2: a reckoning of like and i checked myself into the
- 57:17Speaker 2: outpatient whatever it's like that could happen but you can't
- 57:19Speaker 2: marry the person thinking that's gonna happen yeah And yes.
- 57:23Speaker 2: And if they make you feel like shit because they're
- 57:25Speaker 2: constantly like not supporting your budding journalism career or not
- 57:30Speaker 2: letting you buy your fancy eggs or making you feel
- 57:33Speaker 2: bad about the fact that you inherited money from your
- 57:35Speaker 2: rich relatives or, you know, whatever the case may be,
- 57:37Speaker 2: it's kind of like, but also on the same token,
- 57:40Speaker 2: it's like for Katie, it's like, well, why did you
- 57:43Speaker 2: marry Josh? If, if Josh, if Josh makes you feel
- 57:48Speaker 2: like you're, uh, what did she say? Like a hoe
- 57:52Speaker 2: and an alcoholic or something in the beginning. It's like,
- 57:54Speaker 2: if he makes, if that's who you want to be
- 57:57Speaker 2: and you want to be this like girl who's, you know,
- 58:01Speaker 2: sexually adventurous with multiple people and getting drunk and partying
- 58:05Speaker 2: and living that lifestyle, then it's like, then date someone
- 58:09Speaker 2: and marry someone who also is into that lifestyle. Who's like, Yes,
- 58:13Speaker 2: like that's, that's my lady, like making out with that
- 58:16Speaker 2: guy over there. Isn't she just so quirky and fun?
- 58:19Speaker 2: You know, it's like, I don't know, both of them
- 58:21Speaker 2: are seeing the potential, I think, in a weird way.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you're absolutely right. Like, Marissa is sort of like,
- 58:27Speaker 1: I don't even see how you guys really are a couple. Like,
- 58:29Speaker 1: it doesn't really register. And Aisha's like, why do you
- 58:31Speaker 1: even want to be married to Katie? who starts to
- 58:34Speaker 1: have a fucking existential crisis because she's like you're right
- 58:37Speaker 1: I don't want to be married I always want to
- 58:39Speaker 1: be young Katie says I just want to be young
- 58:41Speaker 1: and have fun she turns to Josh and is like
- 58:44Speaker 1: you don't get to tell me what to do and
- 58:46Speaker 1: we're like.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Like it is like it is like intervention 90 day
- 58:52Speaker 2: fiance crossover in a way that I was like this
- 58:54Speaker 2: is she seems like she's like a backed into a
- 58:58Speaker 2: corner like a raccoon or something where she's just like
- 59:01Speaker 2: oh like uh like i don't no one gets to
- 59:03Speaker 2: tell me and it's like it's sad yeah it's quite sad.
- 59:08Speaker 1: She is so very young looks she looks.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Very young yeah yeah yeah yeah i feel like she's
- 59:17Speaker 2: also just one of those people though where it's like
- 59:19Speaker 2: i do think that she wants to be seen as
- 59:22Speaker 2: a fun freewheeling quirky girl I don't think she realizes
- 59:27Speaker 2: how sad it looks from the outside or how like,
- 59:30Speaker 2: how like, I don't know, desperate or something.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Yeah. It wouldn't Debbie like Debbie at one point says like,
- 59:37Speaker 1: I feel like I can see the insecurity and Katie
- 59:39Speaker 1: does start crying when she hears that because it does register.
- 59:43Speaker 1: It's like, I sometimes I wonder like Josh, when Josh
- 59:45Speaker 1: is at these parties watching her move on from man
- 59:48Speaker 1: to man to snog, sometimes I'm wondering, but why aren't
- 59:52Speaker 1: you there? Like, like what are you doing? Then I'm like,
- 59:54Speaker 1: why isn't she making it with you?
- 59:56Speaker 2: Like, like you're sometimes I'm wondering like, what, if.
- 59:59Speaker 1: You want to go talk to her right now and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: she's drunk, would she then be hanging? Would she just like,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: be like, Oh, yeah. Like, would she then just be
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: on you and then be like, you could just tell
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: maybe this person would want some physical affection and contact.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Like maybe she feels drunk and insecure and would like, like,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: would like someone to hold her and make out with her.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: And would you be that person? Like, sometimes I wonder
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: why that isn't what's happening. It feels like he's just like,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: there's Katie drunk. And then he just like puts his
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: hand out and then just watches her hook up with everyone.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: And then is mad at her later about it, which
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, well then make out with her. Yeah.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: So true.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: I've that's such a great solution that I wish that
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: they would explore honestly. Cause it's like, yeah, maybe that
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: is all she fucking needs is someone in that moment
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: to be like hanging on and, and making out with.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: And why couldn't it be her own husband? Yeah. but
