• 1:18
  We
• 1:19
  think,
• 1:19
  are
• 1:19
  the
• 1:19
  top
• 1:19
  three
• 1:20
  comic
• 1:20
  icons
• 1:21
  of
• 1:21
  Marvel.
• 1:22
  This
• 1:22
  is
• 1:22
  systematic
• 1:23
  ecology.
• 1:23
  We
• 1:23
  are
• 1:23
  the
• 1:24
  priests
• 1:24
  and
• 1:24
  geeks.
• 1:24
  We're
• 1:24
  going
• 1:24
  to
• 1:24
  be
• 1:24
  asking
• 1:25
  this
• 1:25
  question
• 1:25
  a
• 1:25
  lot
• 1:25
  more
• 1:25
  on
• 1:26
  today's
• 1:26
  episode
• 1:26
  where
• 1:27
  we're
• 1:27
  going
• 1:27
  to
• 1:27
  cover
• 1:27
  the
• 1:27
  history
• 1:28
  of
• 1:28
  Marvel
• 1:28
  comics
• 1:28
  a
• 1:28
  little
• 1:28
  bit,
• 1:29
  our
• 1:29
  personal
• 1:29
  history
• 1:29
  of
• 1:30
  some
• 1:30
  of
• 1:30
  this,
• 1:30
  the
• 1:30
  characters
• 1:31
  we
• 1:31
  really
• 1:31
  love
• 1:31
  and
• 1:31
  engage
• 1:32
  with.
• 1:32
  And
• 1:33
  I
• 1:33
  say
• 1:33
  we
• 1:33
  because
• 1:33
  it's
• 1:34
  not
• 1:34
  just
• 1:34
  me.
• 1:34
  Christian,
• 1:34
  Ashley,
• 1:35
  I'm
• 1:35
  also
• 1:35
  joined.
• 1:35
  For
• 1:36
  the
• 1:36
  first
• 1:36
  time
• 1:36
  I've
• 1:36
  been
• 1:36
  able
• 1:37
  to
• 1:37
  work
• 1:37
  with
• 1:37
  her.
• 1:38
  Jill,
• 1:38
  Elizabeth
• 1:39
  is
• 1:39
  here.
• 1:39
  Jill,
• 1:40
  in
• 1:40
  light
• 1:40
  of
• 1:41
  that,
• 1:41
  can
• 1:41
  you
• 1:41
  think
• 1:41
  of
• 1:42
  someone
• 1:42
  for
• 1:42
  our
• 1:43
  icon
• 1:43
  series?
• 1:43
  We
• 1:43
  do
• 1:43
  things
• 1:43
  a
• 1:44
  little
• 1:44
  differently.
• 1:44
  Not
• 1:44
  the
• 1:44
  geeking
• 1:45
  out
• 1:45
  stuff
• 1:45
  we
• 1:45
  share.
• 1:45
  Like,
• 1:46
  one
• 1:46
  person
• 1:46
  that
• 1:47
  we
• 1:47
  personally
• 1:47
  look
• 1:47
  up
• 1:48
  to
• 1:48
  as
• 1:48
  an
• 1:48
  icon.
• 1:49
  Yeah.
• 1:51
  So
• 1:53
  in
• 1:54
  my
• 1:54
  house,
• 1:54
  there
• 1:55
  wasn't
• 1:55
  a
• 1:55
  whole
• 1:55
  lot
• 1:55
  of
• 1:55
  people
• 1:56
  that
• 1:56
  I
• 1:56
  wanted
• 1:56
  my
• 1:57
  children
• 1:57
  to,
• 1:57
  like,
• 1:57
  look
• 1:58
  up
• 1:58
  to.
• 1:58
  You
• 1:59
  know,
• 1:59
  there's
• 1:59
  like,
• 1:59
  Jesus.
• 2:00
  That
• 2:00
  was
• 2:00
  the
• 2:00
  big
• 2:00
  one.
• 2:01
  And
• 2:01
  then
• 2:02
  aside
• 2:02
  from
• 2:02
  that,
• 2:02
  there
• 2:02
  weren't
• 2:03
  a
• 2:03
  lot
• 2:03
  of
• 2:03
  men
• 2:03
  that
• 2:03
  I
• 2:03
  wanted
• 2:04
  to
• 2:04
  say,
• 2:04
  like,
• 2:04
  go
• 2:04
  look
• 2:05
  at
• 2:05
  what
• 2:05
  this
• 2:05
  person
• 2:05
  does.
• 2:06
  But
• 2:06
  I
• 2:06
  thought,
• 2:06
  there's
• 2:06
  one
• 2:06
  exception,
• 2:07
  and
• 2:07
  it's
• 2:07
  Muhammad
• 2:08
  Ali.
• 2:09
  He's
• 2:09
  probably
• 2:10
  my
• 2:10
  personal
• 2:11
  icon.
• 2:11
  And
• 2:11
  when
• 2:11
  I
• 2:12
  think
• 2:12
  about
• 2:12
  raising
• 2:13
  my
• 2:13
  kids,
• 2:13
  they're
• 2:14
  now
• 2:14
  like
• 2:14
  teenagers
• 2:15
  telling
• 2:16
  them,
• 2:17
  look
• 2:17
  to
• 2:18
  this
• 2:18
  person
• 2:18
  who
• 2:18
  stood
• 2:19
  up
• 2:19
  for
• 2:19
  what
• 2:19
  he
• 2:19
  believed
• 2:20
  in
• 2:20
  in
• 2:20
  the
• 2:20
  face
• 2:21
  of
• 2:21
  extreme
• 2:22
  unpopularity,
• 2:23
  and
• 2:24
  he
• 2:24
  stood
• 2:24
  by
• 2:24
  it.
• 2:25
  And
• 2:25
  he
• 2:25
  was
• 2:26
  very
• 2:26
  much
• 2:27
  about
• 2:27
  service,
• 2:28
  public
• 2:28
  service
• 2:29
  and
• 2:29
  volunteering
• 2:29
  and
• 2:30
  giving
• 2:30
  back,
• 2:30
  and
• 2:31
  those
• 2:31
  are
• 2:31
  the
• 2:31
  things
• 2:31
  that
• 2:31
  are
• 2:31
  important
• 2:32
  to
• 2:32
  me.
• 2:33
  So
• 2:33
  he's
• 2:34
  probably
• 2:34
  my
• 2:34
  number
• 2:34
  one
• 2:35
  icon.
• 2:36
  Okay.
• 2:37
  Yeah,
• 2:37
  That's
• 2:37
  a
• 2:37
  great
• 2:37
  pick.
• 2:38
  Yeah,
• 2:39
  a
• 2:39
  great.
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  mean,
• 2:40
  just
• 2:41
  player
• 2:41
  of
• 2:41
  the
• 2:42
  game
• 2:42
  to
• 2:42
  begin
• 2:42
  with
• 2:43
  in
• 2:43
  boxing,
• 2:44
  but
• 2:44
  also,
• 2:44
  like,
• 2:45
  as
• 2:45
  you
• 2:45
  mentioned,
• 2:45
  like,
• 2:45
  stuck
• 2:46
  by
• 2:46
  his
• 2:46
  convictions.
• 2:47
  You
• 2:47
  can
• 2:47
  agree
• 2:47
  or
• 2:47
  disagree
• 2:48
  with
• 2:48
  him,
• 2:48
  but
• 2:48
  you
• 2:48
  can't
• 2:48
  say
• 2:48
  that
• 2:49
  he
• 2:49
  wasn't,
• 2:49
  like,
• 2:50
  who
• 2:50
  he
• 2:50
  said
• 2:50
  he
• 2:50
  was
• 2:50
  going
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  be.
• 2:51
  Absolutely
• 2:52
  super
• 2:52
  authentic.
• 2:53
  Yeah.
• 2:55
  I'm
• 2:55
  going
• 2:55
  to
• 2:55
  go
• 2:55
  in
• 2:55
  a
• 2:55
  wildly
• 2:56
  different
• 2:56
  direction,
• 2:57
  and
• 2:57
  I
• 2:57
  may
• 2:58
  have
• 2:58
  used
• 2:58
  this
• 2:58
  last
• 2:58
  year.
• 2:58
  I
• 2:59
  can't
• 2:59
  remember.
• 2:59
  But
• 2:59
  you
• 3:00
  know
• 3:00
  what?
• 3:00
  Memory
• 3:00
  is
• 3:01
  what
• 3:01
  it
• 3:01
  is.
• 3:01
  But
• 3:02
  I'm
• 3:02
  going
• 3:02
  to
• 3:02
  pick
• 3:02
  Steve
• 3:03
  Irwin,
• 3:03
  the
• 3:04
  Crocodile
• 3:04
  Hunter.
• 3:05
  When
• 3:06
  I
• 3:06
  was
• 3:06
  growing
• 3:06
  up,
• 3:07
  I
• 3:08
  would
• 3:08
  always
• 3:08
  watch
• 3:08
  it
• 3:08
  on
• 3:09
  Animal
• 3:09
  Planet.
• 3:10
  And
• 3:10
  as
• 3:11
  someone
• 3:11
  who
• 3:11
  loves
• 3:12
  animals,
• 3:12
  as
• 3:13
  always,
• 3:13
  at
• 3:13
  one
• 3:13
  point
• 3:14
  in
• 3:14
  time,
• 3:14
  thought
• 3:14
  he
• 3:14
  was
• 3:14
  going
• 3:14
  to
• 3:15
  be
• 3:15
  a
• 3:15
  marine
• 3:15
  biologist.
• 3:16
  Like,
• 3:16
  seeing
• 3:17
  Steve,
• 3:17
  like,
• 3:17
  interact
• 3:18
  with
• 3:18
  these
• 3:18
  wild
• 3:19
  creatures
• 3:19
  that
• 3:20
  are
• 3:20
  very
• 3:20
  foreign
• 3:20
  to
• 3:20
  me
• 3:21
  living
• 3:21
  in
• 3:21
  America.
• 3:21
  And
• 3:22
  yet,
• 3:22
  at
• 3:22
  the
• 3:22
  same
• 3:22
  time,
• 3:22
  he
• 3:22
  had,
• 3:23
  like,
• 3:23
  a
• 3:24
  strength,
• 3:24
  but
• 3:24
  also,
• 3:25
  like,
• 3:25
  this
• 3:25
  humbleness
• 3:26
  and,
• 3:27
  like,
• 3:27
  softness
• 3:28
  to
• 3:28
  him
• 3:28
  is
• 3:28
  like,
• 3:28
  hey,
• 3:29
  you
• 3:29
  know,
• 3:29
  these
• 3:29
  creatures
• 3:29
  are
• 3:30
  magnificent.
• 3:30
  And,
• 3:30
  like,
• 3:31
  this
• 3:31
  is
• 3:31
  why,
• 3:31
  like,
• 3:32
  I'm
• 3:32
  showing
• 3:32
  you
• 3:32
  the
• 3:32
  jaws
• 3:33
  of
• 3:33
  this
• 3:33
  Crocodile,
• 3:34
  like.
• 3:34
  But
• 3:34
  you
• 3:34
  should
• 3:34
  really
• 3:35
  appreciate
• 3:35
  the
• 3:35
  fact
• 3:36
  that
• 3:36
  this
• 3:36
  creature
• 3:36
  is
• 3:36
  what
• 3:37
  it
• 3:37
  is.
• 3:37
  So,
• 3:37
  like,
• 3:38
  let's.
• 3:38
  Let's
• 3:38
  protect
• 3:38
  it.
• 3:39
  Let's
• 3:39
  look
• 3:39
  after
• 3:39
  them.
• 3:39
  That's
• 3:40
  something,
• 3:40
  you
• 3:40
  know,
• 3:40
  Genesis
• 3:41
  all
• 3:41
  the
• 3:41
  way
• 3:41
  back.
• 3:41
  That's
• 3:42
  something
• 3:42
  we're
• 3:42
  told
• 3:42
  to
• 3:43
  do.
• 3:43
  And
• 3:43
  that's
• 3:43
  something
• 3:43
  that's
• 3:44
  huge
• 3:44
  to
• 3:44
  me,
• 3:45
  something
• 3:45
  that
• 3:46
  I
• 3:46
  do
• 3:46
  my
• 3:47
  best
• 3:47
  not
• 3:47
  to
• 3:47
  leave
• 3:47
  as
• 3:48
  much
• 3:48
  waste
• 3:48
  behind.
• 3:48
  Or
• 3:49
  if
• 3:49
  I
• 3:49
  leave
• 3:49
  my
• 3:50
  soda
• 3:50
  cans,
• 3:50
  which
• 3:50
  I
• 3:51
  used
• 3:51
  to
• 3:51
  before
• 3:51
  the
• 3:51
  pre
• 3:51
  diabetes
• 3:53
  came
• 3:53
  into
• 3:53
  my
• 3:54
  life,
• 3:54
  I'd
• 3:55
  always
• 3:55
  cut
• 3:55
  them
• 3:55
  up.
• 3:55
  You
• 3:55
  know,
• 3:56
  thinking
• 3:56
  of
• 3:56
  Steve
• 3:57
  and
• 3:57
  someone
• 3:57
  like
• 3:57
  that
• 3:58
  you
• 3:58
  can
• 3:58
  look
• 3:58
  up
• 3:58
  to
• 3:59
  and
• 3:59
  make
• 3:59
  you
• 3:59
  make
• 4:00
  a
• 4:00
  change.
• 4:00
  I
• 4:00
  just
• 4:01
  called
• 4:01
  it
• 4:01
  a
• 4:01
  very
• 4:01
  positive
• 4:02
  person.
• 4:02
  I
• 4:02
  love
• 4:03
  that
• 4:03
  pick.
• 4:04
  He
• 4:04
  is
• 4:04
  an
• 4:04
  icon.
• 4:05
  I
• 4:05
  love
• 4:05
  that.
• 4:07
  All
• 4:07
  right,
• 4:08
  so
• 4:08
  as
• 4:08
  mentioned
• 4:08
  earlier,
• 4:09
  we
• 4:09
  are
• 4:09
  going
• 4:09
  to
• 4:09
  be
• 4:09
  in
• 4:10
  Marvel
• 4:10
  Comics
• 4:10
  today
• 4:11
  picking
• 4:12
  the
• 4:12
  characters
• 4:12
  that
• 4:13
  we
• 4:13
  personally
• 4:14
  find
• 4:14
  iconic.
• 4:15
  Remember
• 4:15
  that
• 4:15
  first
• 4:16
  part.
• 4:16
  And
• 4:16
  then
• 4:17
  secondly,
• 4:17
  we're
• 4:18
  going
• 4:18
  to
• 4:18
  be
• 4:18
  saying,
• 4:18
  like,
• 4:18
  what
• 4:19
  would
• 4:19
  the
• 4:19
  culture
• 4:20
  around
• 4:20
  us
• 4:20
  say
• 4:21
  are
• 4:21
  the
• 4:21
  top
• 4:21
  three
• 4:22
  Marvel
• 4:22
  characters?
• 4:24
  So,
• 4:24
  Jill,
• 4:25
  could
• 4:25
  you
• 4:25
  go
• 4:25
  ahead
• 4:26
  and
• 4:26
  share
• 4:26
  your
• 4:26
  history
• 4:27
  with
• 4:27
  Marvel,
• 4:27
  with
• 4:28
  movies,
• 4:28
  comics,
• 4:29
  tv,
• 4:30
  what
• 4:30
  have
• 4:30
  you?
• 4:31
  Yeah,
• 4:31
  my
• 4:32
  history
• 4:32
  with
• 4:32
  Marvel
• 4:33
  really
• 4:33
  comes
• 4:33
  from
• 4:33
  my
• 4:34
  son.
• 4:34
  He's
• 4:34
  19
• 4:35
  now,
• 4:36
  and
• 4:36
  when
• 4:37
  he
• 4:37
  was
• 4:37
  a
• 4:37
  little
• 4:38
  guy
• 4:38
  in
• 4:38
  like
• 4:39
  Montessori
• 4:39
  preschool
• 4:40
  and
• 4:40
  he
• 4:40
  was
• 4:40
  learning
• 4:41
  to
• 4:41
  read,
• 4:41
  he
• 4:41
  gravitated
• 4:42
  towards
• 4:43
  the
• 4:43
  like,
• 4:44
  graphic
• 4:44
  novels
• 4:45
  that
• 4:45
  were
• 4:45
  written
• 4:45
  for
• 4:45
  kids.
• 4:47
  Loved
• 4:47
  that.
• 4:47
  That
• 4:48
  actually
• 4:48
  that's
• 4:48
  the
• 4:48
  only
• 4:48
  way
• 4:49
  we
• 4:49
  could
• 4:49
  get
• 4:49
  him
• 4:49
  to
• 4:50
  read
• 4:50
  is
• 4:50
  if
• 4:50
  it
• 4:51
  was
• 4:51
  something
• 4:51
  about
• 4:51
  Spider
• 4:52
  man
• 4:52
  or
• 4:52
  Batman,
• 4:54
  the
• 4:55
  Justice
• 4:55
  League.
• 4:55
  Like,
• 4:56
  he
• 4:56
  just
• 4:56
  loved
• 4:56
  that.
• 4:56
  And
• 4:57
  Marvel
• 4:57
  were
• 4:57
  the
• 4:58
  ones
• 4:58
  I
• 4:58
  liked
• 4:58
  the
• 4:58
  most.
• 4:59
  And
• 4:59
  then
• 5:00
  as
• 5:00
  he
• 5:00
  progressed
• 5:01
  and
• 5:01
  got
• 5:01
  higher
• 5:01
  reading,
• 5:02
  I
• 5:02
  just
• 5:03
  moved
• 5:03
  up
• 5:03
  with
• 5:03
  him.
• 5:04
  And
• 5:04
  I
• 5:04
  figured
• 5:04
  if
• 5:04
  I
• 5:05
  wanted
• 5:05
  to
• 5:05
  have
• 5:05
  anything
• 5:06
  to
• 5:07
  talk
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  my
• 5:07
  son
• 5:07
  about,
• 5:08
  I
• 5:08
  had
• 5:08
  to
• 5:08
  immerse
• 5:09
  myself
• 5:09
  in
• 5:09
  the
• 5:09
  world
• 5:09
  he
• 5:10
  was
• 5:10
  in.
• 5:11
  And
• 5:11
  I
• 5:11
  just
• 5:12
  fell
• 5:12
  in
• 5:12
  love.
• 5:13
  Like,
• 5:13
  I
• 5:13
  loved
• 5:14
  the
• 5:14
  Marvel
• 5:15
  comic
• 5:15
  books
• 5:16
  and
• 5:16
  then
• 5:16
  of
• 5:16
  course,
• 5:16
  the
• 5:16
  MCU
• 5:17
  came
• 5:17
  out
• 5:17
  when
• 5:17
  they
• 5:18
  were.
• 5:18
  So
• 5:19
  I
• 5:19
  have
• 5:19
  kids
• 5:19
  that
• 5:19
  are
• 5:20
  like
• 5:20
  the
• 5:20
  same
• 5:20
  age
• 5:22
  when
• 5:22
  they
• 5:22
  were
• 5:22
  in
• 5:22
  kindergarten
• 5:23
  or
• 5:23
  first
• 5:23
  grade.
• 5:23
  The
• 5:24
  first
• 5:24
  Iron
• 5:25
  man
• 5:25
  came
• 5:25
  out
• 5:25
  and
• 5:26
  then
• 5:26
  I
• 5:26
  was
• 5:26
  hooked
• 5:27
  in
• 5:27
  the
• 5:27
  mcu
• 5:28
  and
• 5:28
  we
• 5:28
  would
• 5:28
  see
• 5:28
  all
• 5:29
  the
• 5:29
  movies
• 5:29
  on
• 5:29
  opening
• 5:30
  day
• 5:30
  and
• 5:31
  we
• 5:31
  just
• 5:32
  love
• 5:32
  it.
• 5:33
  Like,
• 5:33
  it
• 5:33
  is
• 5:33
  the
• 5:33
  thing
• 5:34
  that,
• 5:34
  like,
• 5:34
  our
• 5:35
  whole
• 5:35
  family
• 5:35
  is
• 5:36
  all
• 5:36
  in
• 5:36
  on.
• 5:37
  I
• 5:38
  love
• 5:38
  that
• 5:38
  I
• 5:39
  tease
• 5:39
  my
• 5:39
  mom
• 5:39
  all
• 5:39
  the
• 5:39
  time
• 5:41
  because,
• 5:41
  you
• 5:41
  know,
• 5:41
  I
• 5:41
  grew
• 5:42
  up
• 5:42
  a
• 5:42
  superhero
• 5:42
  kid
• 5:43
  and
• 5:43
  my
• 5:43
  dad's
• 5:43
  a
• 5:43
  huge
• 5:44
  geek.
• 5:45
  And
• 5:46
  my
• 5:47
  mom
• 5:47
  right
• 5:47
  now
• 5:47
  also
• 5:48
  watches
• 5:48
  other
• 5:48
  people's
• 5:49
  children.
• 5:49
  So
• 5:49
  when
• 5:49
  I'm
• 5:50
  with
• 5:50
  her,
• 5:50
  I
• 5:50
  get
• 5:51
  to
• 5:51
  hang
• 5:51
  out
• 5:51
  with
• 5:51
  them
• 5:51
  and
• 5:51
  like,
• 5:52
  she
• 5:52
  will
• 5:52
  recognize
• 5:53
  Marvel
• 5:53
  character
• 5:53
  names
• 5:54
  because
• 5:54
  they
• 5:54
  watch
• 5:54
  like,
• 5:54
  you
• 5:55
  know,
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  Spidey
• 5:55
  and
• 5:55
  his
• 5:55
  amazing
• 5:56
  friends
• 5:56
  and
• 5:56
  stuff.
• 5:56
  Oh,
• 5:56
  you
• 5:57
  didn't
• 5:57
  do
• 5:57
  that
• 5:57
  for
• 5:57
  me.
• 5:58
  But
• 5:58
  she.
• 5:59
  She
• 5:59
  did
• 5:59
  do
• 5:59
  that
• 5:59
  for
• 5:59
  me.
• 6:00
  It's
• 6:00
  just
• 6:00
  not
• 6:01
  as
• 6:01
  much
• 6:01
  like,
• 6:02
  you
• 6:02
  know,
• 6:02
  it's
• 6:02
  way
• 6:02
  more
• 6:03
  obvious.
• 6:03
  There
• 6:04
  would
• 6:04
  be
• 6:04
  actors,
• 6:04
  action
• 6:04
  figures,
• 6:04
  and
• 6:04
  stuff
• 6:05
  like
• 6:05
  that.
• 6:05
  And
• 6:05
  they
• 6:05
  have.
• 6:05
  And
• 6:05
  now
• 6:06
  it's
• 6:06
  all
• 6:06
  over
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  place
• 6:07
  compared
• 6:07
  to
• 6:07
  where
• 6:07
  it
• 6:07
  was
• 6:07
  in
• 6:08
  the
• 6:08
  90s
• 6:08
  when
• 6:08
  I
• 6:08
  was
• 6:08
  growing
• 6:09
  up.
• 6:11
  I
• 6:11
  like
• 6:11
  that.
• 6:11
  Getting
• 6:12
  into
• 6:12
  it
• 6:12
  because
• 6:12
  of
• 6:12
  your
• 6:13
  kids.
• 6:13
  That's
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  great
• 6:13
  reason.
• 6:15
  Now,
• 6:16
  as
• 6:16
  one
• 6:16
  of
• 6:16
  those
• 6:16
  kids,
• 6:17
  my
• 6:18
  dad
• 6:18
  raised
• 6:18
  me
• 6:18
  right,
• 6:19
  and
• 6:19
  he
• 6:20
  raised
• 6:20
  me
• 6:20
  in
• 6:20
  the
• 6:20
  way
• 6:20
  of
• 6:20
  the
• 6:21
  geek,
• 6:22
  because
• 6:22
  mom,
• 6:22
  that's
• 6:23
  not
• 6:23
  her
• 6:23
  thing.
• 6:23
  You
• 6:23
  know
• 6:23
  what?
• 6:23
  She
• 6:24
  has
• 6:24
  other
• 6:24
  things
• 6:24
  that
• 6:24
  she
• 6:24
  loves.
• 6:25
  But
• 6:26
  dad,
• 6:27
  since
• 6:28
  he
• 6:28
  was
• 6:28
  a
• 6:28
  kid,
• 6:28
  same
• 6:28
  thing.
• 6:29
  Like,
• 6:29
  grew
• 6:29
  up
• 6:30
  on
• 6:30
  these
• 6:30
  things,
• 6:30
  reading
• 6:31
  comics,
• 6:31
  watching
• 6:32
  the
• 6:32
  TV
• 6:32
  shows
• 6:32
  when
• 6:32
  they
• 6:32
  come
• 6:33
  out.
• 6:33
  And
• 6:34
  I
• 6:34
  remember
• 6:35
  just
• 6:35
  being
• 6:35
  a
• 6:35
  little
• 6:35
  kid
• 6:36
  watching
• 6:36
  Spider
• 6:37
  man,
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  Animated
• 6:37
  Series,
• 6:37
  Batman,
• 6:38
  Animated
• 6:38
  Series,
• 6:39
  X
• 6:40
  Men,
• 6:40
  so
• 6:40
  on
• 6:40
  and
• 6:40
  so
• 6:41
  forth,
• 6:41
  and,
• 6:41
  like,
• 6:42
  getting
• 6:42
  to
• 6:42
  know
• 6:42
  these
• 6:42
  characters
• 6:43
  on
• 6:43
  a
• 6:43
  visual
• 6:43
  way
• 6:44
  on
• 6:44
  the
• 6:44
  screen,
• 6:45
  and
• 6:45
  then
• 6:45
  eventually
• 6:46
  growing
• 6:46
  up
• 6:46
  with
• 6:46
  him,
• 6:47
  like,
• 6:47
  actually
• 6:48
  reading
• 6:48
  the
• 6:48
  comics
• 6:48
  these
• 6:49
  stories
• 6:49
  were
• 6:49
  based
• 6:49
  off
• 6:49
  of.
• 6:50
  So
• 6:50
  I'd
• 6:50
  read,
• 6:51
  you
• 6:51
  know,
• 6:51
  the
• 6:51
  Amazing
• 6:51
  Spider
• 6:52
  Man,
• 6:52
  I'd
• 6:52
  read,
• 6:53
  you
• 6:53
  know,
• 6:53
  the
• 6:53
  Teen
• 6:53
  Titans,
• 6:54
  so
• 6:54
  on
• 6:54
  and
• 6:54
  so
• 6:54
  forth,
• 6:55
  because
• 6:55
  he'd
• 6:55
  been
• 6:55
  collecting
• 6:56
  them
• 6:56
  for
• 6:56
  years.
• 6:56
  And
• 6:58
  he
• 6:58
  actually.
• 6:59
  He
• 7:00
  was
• 7:00
  a
• 7:00
  basketball
• 7:00
  coach.
• 7:01
  Well,
• 7:02
  he
• 7:02
  still
• 7:02
  is,
• 7:03
  but
• 7:03
  he
• 7:03
  was
• 7:04
  a
• 7:04
  teacher
• 7:04
  at
• 7:04
  that
• 7:04
  time,
• 7:04
  too.
• 7:05
  And
• 7:05
  he
• 7:05
  had
• 7:05
  a
• 7:05
  whole
• 7:06
  separate
• 7:06
  room,
• 7:07
  a
• 7:07
  storage
• 7:07
  space,
• 7:07
  where
• 7:08
  he
• 7:08
  kept
• 7:08
  his
• 7:08
  comics
• 7:09
  and
• 7:09
  memorabilia
• 7:10
  there
• 7:11
  on
• 7:11
  school
• 7:12
  grounds,
• 7:12
  because,
• 7:13
  you
• 7:13
  know,
• 7:13
  he
• 7:13
  just
• 7:14
  kind
• 7:14
  of
• 7:14
  did
• 7:14
  what
• 7:14
  he
• 7:14
  wanted.
• 7:17
  And
• 7:17
  now,
• 7:17
  unfortunately,
• 7:18
  now
• 7:18
  that
• 7:18
  he's
• 7:18
  retired,
• 7:19
  he's
• 7:19
  had
• 7:19
  to
• 7:19
  take
• 7:19
  up
• 7:20
  the
• 7:20
  entire
• 7:20
  garage
• 7:20
  for
• 7:20
  himself.
• 7:21
  And
• 7:21
  let's
• 7:21
  just
• 7:22
  say
• 7:22
  my
• 7:22
  inheritance
• 7:22
  looks
• 7:23
  pretty
• 7:23
  large.
• 7:23
  I
• 7:24
  get
• 7:24
  it.
• 7:24
  I'm
• 7:24
  sure
• 7:25
  your
• 7:25
  mom
• 7:25
  really
• 7:25
  loves
• 7:26
  that
• 7:27
  local
• 7:27
  garage.
• 7:27
  Is
• 7:28
  comic
• 7:28
  books.
• 7:30
  Your
• 7:30
  comic
• 7:30
  books,
• 7:31
  action
• 7:31
  figures,
• 7:32
  board
• 7:32
  games,
• 7:33
  all
• 7:33
  this
• 7:33
  stuff.
• 7:34
  And
• 7:34
  now
• 7:34
  he's
• 7:35
  gotten
• 7:35
  to
• 7:35
  thrifting,
• 7:35
  too.
• 7:36
  So
• 7:36
  it's
• 7:36
  gotten
• 7:36
  even
• 7:36
  worse
• 7:37
  with
• 7:38
  all
• 7:38
  the
• 7:39
  junk.
• 7:39
  I
• 7:39
  say
• 7:40
  junk.
• 7:40
  It's
• 7:40
  not
• 7:41
  junk
• 7:41
  if
• 7:41
  someone's
• 7:41
  willing
• 7:41
  to
• 7:41
  buy
• 7:42
  it,
• 7:42
  I
• 7:42
  guess.
• 7:43
  Right?
• 7:44
  There
• 7:44
  you
• 7:44
  go.
• 7:45
  So
• 7:45
  that's
• 7:45
  our
• 7:46
  personal
• 7:46
  history
• 7:47
  with
• 7:47
  Marvel
• 7:48
  as
• 7:49
  well.
• 7:49
  So,
• 7:49
  Jill,
• 7:50
  why
• 7:50
  don't
• 7:50
  you
• 7:50
  go
• 7:50
  ahead
• 7:50
  and
• 7:50
  start
• 7:50
  us
• 7:51
  off
• 7:51
  with
• 7:51
  your
• 7:52
  number
• 7:52
  three
• 7:52
  pick
• 7:52
  for
• 7:53
  your
• 7:53
  personal,
• 7:53
  iconic
• 7:54
  character.
• 7:55
  Okay,
• 7:55
  my
• 7:55
  number
• 7:56
  three
• 7:56
  pick,
• 7:56
  probably
• 7:57
  a
• 7:57
  little
• 7:57
  bit
• 7:57
  surprising,
• 7:59
  but
• 7:59
  it
• 7:59
  is
• 8:00
  Dr.
• 8:01
  Doom.
• 8:01
  Ooh.
• 8:03
  Okay.
• 8:03
  Go
• 8:03
  for
• 8:03
  it.
• 8:04
  Yeah.
• 8:05
  I
• 8:05
  think
• 8:05
  when
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  think
• 8:07
  of
• 8:07
  a
• 8:07
  comic
• 8:07
  book
• 8:08
  character,
• 8:08
  you
• 8:08
  can't
• 8:09
  take
• 8:09
  it
• 8:09
  out
• 8:10
  of
• 8:10
  context
• 8:10
  and
• 8:10
  you
• 8:10
  can't
• 8:11
  divorce
• 8:11
  it
• 8:11
  from
• 8:11
  the
• 8:11
  author.
• 8:12
  And
• 8:12
  Stan
• 8:13
  Lee
• 8:13
  has
• 8:13
  said
• 8:14
  over
• 8:14
  and
• 8:15
  over
• 8:15
  again
• 8:16
  that
• 8:16
  his
• 8:16
  favorite
• 8:16
  character
• 8:17
  he
• 8:17
  ever
• 8:17
  created
• 8:18
  was
• 8:18
  Dr.
• 8:18
  Doom.
• 8:20
  So
• 8:20
  to
• 8:21
  me,
• 8:21
  he
• 8:21
  is
• 8:21
  like
• 8:22
  the
• 8:22
  Stan
• 8:22
  Lee
• 8:23
  I
• 8:23
  actually
• 8:23
  Think
• 8:23
  he's
• 8:23
  like
• 8:24
  Stan
• 8:24
  Lee's
• 8:24
  like
• 8:25
  shadow
• 8:26
  side,
• 8:27
  you
• 8:27
  know.
• 8:29
  First
• 8:29
  of
• 8:29
  all,
• 8:29
  he
• 8:30
  has
• 8:30
  this
• 8:30
  like
• 8:30
  super
• 8:31
  badass
• 8:32
  suit.
• 8:32
  It's
• 8:33
  the
• 8:33
  coolest
• 8:33
  of
• 8:34
  any
• 8:34
  of
• 8:34
  the
• 8:34
  villains.
• 8:35
  He's
• 8:35
  got
• 8:36
  like
• 8:36
  that
• 8:36
  scar,
• 8:37
  you
• 8:37
  know,
• 8:37
  messed
• 8:38
  up
• 8:38
  face,
• 8:38
  which
• 8:38
  is
• 8:39
  really
• 8:39
  cool.
• 8:40
  But
• 8:40
  he's
• 8:40
  like
• 8:41
  brilliant.
• 8:42
  Can
• 8:42
  outsmart
• 8:43
  like
• 8:43
  all
• 8:44
  of
• 8:44
  the
• 8:44
  smartest
• 8:44
  Marvel
• 8:45
  heroes
• 8:45
  like
• 8:46
  Tony
• 8:46
  Stark
• 8:46
  and
• 8:47
  Reed
• 8:47
  Rogers
• 8:48
  or
• 8:48
  Reed,
• 8:49
  Reed
• 8:49
  Richards,
• 8:51
  even
• 8:51
  Black
• 8:52
  Panther.
• 8:52
  Like
• 8:53
  he
• 8:54
  just
• 8:54
  has
• 8:54
  all
• 8:54
  this
• 8:55
  power,
• 8:55
  but
• 8:55
  he
• 8:55
  doesn't
• 8:56
  necessarily
• 8:56
  use
• 8:56
  brute
• 8:57
  force
• 8:57
  to
• 8:57
  win
• 8:58
  his
• 8:58
  battles.
• 8:59
  He
• 8:59
  outsmarts
• 9:00
  them.
• 9:00
  I
• 9:00
  think
• 9:00
  that
• 9:01
  is
• 9:01
  super
• 9:01
  like
• 9:02
  iconic
• 9:02
  to
• 9:03
  Marvel
• 9:04
  and
• 9:04
  the
• 9:04
  way
• 9:04
  that
• 9:04
  they
• 9:05
  are.
• 9:06
  And
• 9:07
  it's
• 9:07
  just
• 9:07
  like
• 9:08
  that's
• 9:09
  Stanley's
• 9:09
  guy.
• 9:10
  So
• 9:10
  that's
• 9:11
  the
• 9:11
  icon.
• 9:12
  Yeah,
• 9:12
  I
• 9:13
  definitely
• 9:13
  see
• 9:13
  where
• 9:13
  you're
• 9:13
  coming
• 9:13
  from
• 9:14
  from
• 9:14
  Stan.
• 9:14
  Like
• 9:14
  I,
• 9:15
  I,
• 9:15
  he
• 9:15
  definitely
• 9:16
  pattern
• 9:17
  pits
• 9:17
  of
• 9:17
  himself
• 9:17
  on
• 9:17
  J.
• 9:17
  Jonah
• 9:18
  Jameson
• 9:18
  to
• 9:18
  an
• 9:18
  extent.
• 9:19
  But
• 9:19
  like
• 9:19
  on
• 9:19
  the
• 9:19
  more
• 9:19
  villainous
• 9:20
  side
• 9:20
  of
• 9:20
  things,
• 9:21
  it's
• 9:21
  definitely
• 9:21
  Doom.
• 9:22
  And
• 9:22
  you
• 9:22
  think,
• 9:23
  what
• 9:23
  a
• 9:23
  stupid
• 9:24
  name,
• 9:24
  Tony.
• 9:24
  Dr.
• 9:25
  Doom.
• 9:25
  That's
• 9:26
  such
• 9:26
  comics.
• 9:27
  Well,
• 9:27
  you
• 9:27
  know,
• 9:27
  it
• 9:27
  is,
• 9:27
  it
• 9:28
  is
• 9:28
  pure
• 9:28
  comics.
• 9:28
  And
• 9:29
  it's
• 9:29
  wonderful.
• 9:30
  This
• 9:30
  guy
• 9:31
  like
• 9:32
  wearing
• 9:32
  this
• 9:33
  green
• 9:34
  cape,
• 9:35
  armored
• 9:36
  suit
• 9:36
  all
• 9:36
  over
• 9:36
  his
• 9:37
  body
• 9:37
  and
• 9:37
  then
• 9:38
  you
• 9:38
  learn
• 9:38
  why
• 9:38
  because
• 9:39
  like
• 9:39
  he,
• 9:40
  he
• 9:40
  got
• 9:40
  a
• 9:40
  little
• 9:41
  too
• 9:41
  big
• 9:41
  for
• 9:41
  his
• 9:41
  britches
• 9:42
  and
• 9:42
  started
• 9:42
  doing
• 9:42
  things
• 9:42
  he
• 9:42
  wasn't
• 9:43
  supposed
• 9:43
  to
• 9:44
  and
• 9:44
  his
• 9:44
  face
• 9:45
  got
• 9:45
  scarred
• 9:45
  as
• 9:45
  a
• 9:46
  result.
• 9:46
  Now
• 9:46
  he
• 9:46
  can't
• 9:47
  let
• 9:47
  anyone
• 9:47
  see
• 9:48
  like
• 9:48
  the
• 9:48
  afflic
• 9:49
  on
• 9:49
  his
• 9:49
  face
• 9:49
  because
• 9:49
  that
• 9:49
  was
• 9:50
  wound
• 9:50
  his
• 9:50
  pride
• 9:50
  even
• 9:51
  more.
• 9:51
  His
• 9:52
  rivalry
• 9:52
  with
• 9:52
  Reed
• 9:53
  Richards
• 9:54
  is
• 9:54
  like
• 9:54
  he
• 9:54
  can't
• 9:55
  ever
• 9:55
  admit
• 9:55
  that
• 9:55
  he's
• 9:56
  wrong
• 9:57
  because
• 9:57
  of
• 9:58
  course
• 9:58
  Doom
• 9:59
  wills.
• 9:59
  Doom
• 10:00
  says
• 10:00
  that
• 10:00
  he's
• 10:00
  going
• 10:00
  to
• 10:00
  do
• 10:00
  it.
• 10:00
  Doom
• 10:01
  always
• 10:01
  talks
• 10:01
  in
• 10:01
  the
• 10:01
  third
• 10:02
  person,
• 10:02
  you
• 10:02
  know,
• 10:02
  because
• 10:03
  that's
• 10:03
  just
• 10:04
  who
• 10:04
  he
• 10:04
  is.
• 10:04
  He's
• 10:04
  a
• 10:05
  bombastic
• 10:05
  guy
• 10:06
  who
• 10:06
  has
• 10:06
  taken
• 10:06
  over
• 10:06
  an
• 10:07
  entire
• 10:07
  country.
• 10:07
  But
• 10:07
  that's
• 10:08
  not
• 10:08
  good
• 10:08
  enough
• 10:08
  for
• 10:08
  him.
• 10:09
  He's
• 10:09
  got
• 10:09
  to
• 10:09
  prove
• 10:10
  he's
• 10:10
  better
• 10:10
  than
• 10:10
  Richards
• 10:10
  and
• 10:11
  he's
• 10:11
  got
• 10:11
  to
• 10:11
  take
• 10:11
  over
• 10:11
  the
• 10:11
  entire
• 10:12
  world.
• 10:13
  I
• 10:13
  love
• 10:13
  him.
• 10:13
  It's
• 10:14
  a
• 10:14
  solid,
• 10:14
  solid
• 10:15
  pick.
• 10:15
  He's
• 10:16
  definitely
• 10:16
  a
• 10:16
  mentoring
• 10:17
  school.
• 10:17
  Cool.
• 10:17
  I
• 10:18
  just
• 10:18
  want
• 10:18
  to
• 10:18
  say
• 10:18
  one
• 10:18
  more
• 10:18
  thing
• 10:19
  too.
• 10:19
  He
• 10:20
  has
• 10:20
  never
• 10:20
  been
• 10:20
  done
• 10:21
  right
• 10:21
  in
• 10:22
  the
• 10:22
  movies.
• 10:23
  Gosh,
• 10:24
  yes.
• 10:25
  And
• 10:25
  so
• 10:25
  I'm
• 10:25
  super
• 10:26
  excited
• 10:26
  about
• 10:27
  the
• 10:27
  new
• 10:27
  Avengers
• 10:28
  and
• 10:28
  that
• 10:28
  Robert
• 10:28
  Downey
• 10:29
  Jr.
• 10:29
  Is
• 10:29
  playing
• 10:30
  him.
• 10:31
  Like
• 10:31
  I
• 10:31
  got
• 10:31
  hope
• 10:32
  that
• 10:32
  the
• 10:32
  world
• 10:32
  now
• 10:32
  is
• 10:33
  going
• 10:33
  to
• 10:33
  like
• 10:33
  see
• 10:34
  Dr.
• 10:34
  Doom
• 10:34
  for
• 10:34
  who
• 10:35
  he
• 10:35
  is.
• 10:36
  Speaking
• 10:37
  of
• 10:37
  who
• 10:37
  he
• 10:37
  is,
• 10:37
  like
• 10:38
  what
• 10:38
  characteristics
• 10:39
  would
• 10:39
  you
• 10:39
  say
• 10:39
  that
• 10:39
  we
• 10:40
  should
• 10:40
  like
• 10:40
  emulate
• 10:40
  that
• 10:41
  he
• 10:41
  does
• 10:41
  or
• 10:41
  like
• 10:42
  excise
• 10:43
  take
• 10:43
  out
• 10:43
  from
• 10:43
  ourselves
• 10:45
  when
• 10:45
  it.
• 10:45
  Comes
• 10:45
  to
• 10:45
  doing
• 10:45
  one
• 10:46
  of
• 10:46
  the.
• 10:46
  Yeah,
• 10:47
  one
• 10:47
  of
• 10:47
  the
• 10:47
  things
• 10:47
  that
• 10:47
  Stan
• 10:48
  Lee
• 10:48
  says
• 10:48
  is
• 10:48
  like
• 10:48
  the
• 10:49
  best
• 10:49
  villains
• 10:49
  are
• 10:49
  the
• 10:50
  ones
• 10:50
  who
• 10:50
  are
• 10:50
  actually
• 10:51
  the
• 10:51
  heroes
• 10:51
  of
• 10:51
  their
• 10:51
  own
• 10:52
  story.
• 10:54
  So
• 10:54
  it's
• 10:55
  that.
• 10:55
  It's
• 10:55
  almost
• 10:55
  that
• 10:56
  thing
• 10:56
  that
• 10:56
  I
• 10:56
  was
• 10:56
  talking
• 10:56
  about
• 10:56
  earlier
• 10:57
  with
• 10:57
  Muhammad
• 10:57
  Ali.
• 10:58
  Not
• 10:58
  that
• 10:58
  he's
• 10:58
  a
• 10:58
  villain,
• 10:58
  but,
• 10:59
  like,
• 10:59
  that.
• 10:59
  Like,
• 10:59
  yes,
• 11:00
  I'm
• 11:00
  gonna
• 11:00
  do
• 11:00
  what
• 11:01
  I
• 11:01
  believe
• 11:01
  is
• 11:01
  right
• 11:02
  because
• 11:03
  it's
• 11:03
  right.
• 11:04
  Like,
• 11:04
  and
• 11:05
  even
• 11:05
  if
• 11:05
  everyone
• 11:05
  else
• 11:06
  disagrees,
• 11:07
  sometimes
• 11:07
  that's
• 11:07
  the
• 11:08
  path
• 11:08
  you
• 11:08
  have
• 11:08
  to
• 11:08
  take.
• 11:10
  What
• 11:10
  aspects
• 11:11
  you
• 11:11
  say
• 11:11
  we
• 11:11
  should
• 11:12
  excise
• 11:12
  from
• 11:12
  ourselves
• 11:13
  that
• 11:13
  come
• 11:13
  from
• 11:14
  Doom.
• 11:15
  Like,
• 11:15
  we're
• 11:15
  not
• 11:15
  gods,
• 11:17
  so
• 11:17
  let's
• 11:17
  not
• 11:17
  behave
• 11:18
  as
• 11:18
  gods.
• 11:19
  That's
• 11:20
  perfect.
• 11:20
  Yeah.
• 11:21
  Doom
• 11:21
  is
• 11:22
  one
• 11:22
  of
• 11:22
  those
• 11:22
  great
• 11:22
  characters
• 11:23
  because
• 11:23
  of
• 11:23
  the
• 11:24
  complexity
• 11:24
  of
• 11:25
  who
• 11:25
  he
• 11:25
  is.
• 11:25
  Because,
• 11:25
  like,
• 11:26
  he
• 11:26
  does
• 11:26
  think
• 11:26
  he's
• 11:26
  always
• 11:27
  right,
• 11:27
  and
• 11:27
  there
• 11:28
  are
• 11:28
  times
• 11:28
  when
• 11:28
  he
• 11:28
  is
• 11:29
  right,
• 11:30
  and
• 11:31
  he's
• 11:31
  always
• 11:31
  seeking
• 11:31
  to
• 11:32
  better
• 11:32
  himself,
• 11:32
  and
• 11:33
  he
• 11:33
  takes
• 11:33
  it
• 11:34
  into
• 11:34
  very
• 11:34
  poor
• 11:35
  ways
• 11:35
  later
• 11:35
  on,
• 11:35
  like,
• 11:35
  you
• 11:35
  know,
• 11:36
  trying
• 11:36
  to
• 11:36
  steal,
• 11:36
  like,
• 11:36
  the
• 11:36
  powers
• 11:37
  of
• 11:37
  the
• 11:37
  beyonder
• 11:37
  or,
• 11:38
  like,
• 11:38
  trying
• 11:38
  to
• 11:38
  become
• 11:38
  a
• 11:39
  God.
• 11:39
  But
• 11:40
  at
• 11:40
  the
• 11:41
  end
• 11:41
  of
• 11:41
  the
• 11:41
  day,
• 11:41
  isn't
• 11:42
  that
• 11:42
  something
• 11:42
  we're
• 11:42
  supposed
• 11:43
  to
• 11:43
  do?
• 11:43
  Aren't
• 11:43
  we
• 11:43
  supposed
• 11:43
  to
• 11:44
  be
• 11:44
  better
• 11:44
  than
• 11:44
  the
• 11:44
  person
• 11:45
  we
• 11:45
  were
• 11:45
  yesterday?
• 11:46
  Like,
• 11:46
  working
• 11:46
  towards
• 11:47
  something
• 11:47
  so
• 11:47
  that
• 11:47
  we
• 11:48
  don't
• 11:48
  make
• 11:48
  the
• 11:48
  same
• 11:48
  mistakes
• 11:49
  of
• 11:49
  the
• 11:49
  past?
• 11:50
  And,
• 11:50
  like,
• 11:50
  Doom
• 11:51
  would
• 11:51
  never
• 11:51
  make
• 11:51
  the
• 11:51
  same
• 11:51
  mistakes
• 11:52
  that
• 11:52
  he
• 11:52
  did
• 11:52
  as
• 11:52
  a
• 11:52
  younger
• 11:53
  man.
• 11:53
  He
• 11:53
  wouldn't
• 11:53
  call
• 11:53
  them
• 11:53
  mistakes
• 11:54
  because
• 11:54
  everything
• 11:54
  led
• 11:55
  to
• 11:55
  who
• 11:55
  he
• 11:55
  is
• 11:55
  today.
• 11:56
  But
• 11:56
  that
• 11:57
  would
• 11:57
  be
• 11:57
  something
• 11:57
  we'd
• 11:57
  have
• 11:57
  to
• 11:57
  excise.
• 11:58
  It's
• 11:58
  like
• 11:59
  that
• 11:59
  pride
• 11:59
  and
• 12:00
  arrogance
• 12:01
  of
• 12:02
  man.
• 12:02
  I've
• 12:03
  never
• 12:03
  once
• 12:03
  made
• 12:03
  a
• 12:03
  wrong
• 12:04
  decision.
• 12:04
  Everything
• 12:04
  I
• 12:05
  did
• 12:05
  was
• 12:05
  the
• 12:05
  right
• 12:05
  one.
• 12:06
  Everything
• 12:06
  was
• 12:06
  calculated
• 12:07
  along
• 12:07
  the
• 12:08
  way,
• 12:08
  and
• 12:08
  I'm
• 12:08
  very,
• 12:09
  very
• 12:09
  guilty
• 12:10
  of
• 12:10
  that
• 12:10
  at
• 12:10
  times.
• 12:11
  It's
• 12:11
  a
• 12:12
  arrogant
• 12:12
  person
• 12:13
  to
• 12:14
  say,
• 12:14
  no,
• 12:14
  no,
• 12:14
  I
• 12:14
  meant
• 12:15
  to
• 12:15
  do
• 12:15
  that.
• 12:16
  Even
• 12:16
  though
• 12:16
  it
• 12:16
  blew
• 12:16
  up
• 12:17
  in
• 12:17
  my
• 12:17
  face,
• 12:17
  I
• 12:17
  meant
• 12:18
  to
• 12:18
  do
• 12:18
  that.
• 12:18
  And
• 12:18
  that
• 12:18
  literally
• 12:19
  happened
• 12:19
  to
• 12:19
  him?
• 12:20
  Yep,
• 12:21
  quite
• 12:21
  literally.
• 12:22
  All
• 12:22
  right.
• 12:23
  You
• 12:23
  have
• 12:23
  anything
• 12:23
  else
• 12:23
  you
• 12:23
  want
• 12:23
  to
• 12:24
  add
• 12:24
  about
• 12:24
  Dr.
• 12:24
  Doom
• 12:24
  before
• 12:25
  we
• 12:25
  move
• 12:25
  on?
• 12:25
  Nope.
• 12:26
  That's
• 12:26
  my
• 12:26
  piece.
• 12:27
  All
• 12:27
  right.
• 12:27
  Excellent
• 12:27
  choice.
• 12:28
  Mine
• 12:29
  is
• 12:29
  actually
• 12:29
  going
• 12:30
  to
• 12:30
  be
• 12:30
  my
• 12:30
  Dark
• 12:31
  horse
• 12:31
  pick
• 12:31
  for
• 12:31
  this.
• 12:31
  The
• 12:32
  other
• 12:32
  two
• 12:32
  will
• 12:32
  be
• 12:32
  fairly
• 12:33
  familiar
• 12:33
  to
• 12:33
  everyone.
• 12:34
  And
• 12:35
  my
• 12:35
  third
• 12:35
  pick
• 12:36
  is
• 12:36
  going
• 12:36
  to
• 12:36
  be
• 12:36
  Rick
• 12:36
  Jones
• 12:38
  as
• 12:38
  my
• 12:39
  iconic
• 12:39
  Marvel
• 12:40
  character.
• 12:40
  Rick
• 12:40
  Jones,
• 12:41
  for
• 12:41
  those
• 12:42
  uninitiated,
• 12:43
  he
• 12:43
  started
• 12:43
  off
• 12:43
  in
• 12:44
  the
• 12:44
  Incredible
• 12:44
  Hulk
• 12:44
  comics
• 12:45
  as
• 12:45
  this
• 12:46
  ragtag
• 12:47
  teenager,
• 12:48
  or
• 12:48
  as
• 12:48
  they
• 12:48
  used
• 12:48
  to
• 12:49
  say
• 12:49
  in
• 12:49
  the
• 12:49
  60s
• 12:50
  comic,
• 12:50
  teenager
• 12:51
  every
• 12:52
  time
• 12:52
  they
• 12:52
  had
• 12:52
  to
• 12:52
  put
• 12:52
  the
• 12:53
  emphasis
• 12:53
  to
• 12:53
  hyphen
• 12:54
  in
• 12:54
  between
• 12:54
  teen
• 12:54
  and
• 12:54
  ager
• 12:55
  for
• 12:55
  some
• 12:55
  reason.
• 12:55
  I
• 12:55
  don't
• 12:55
  know
• 12:56
  why.
• 12:56
  60s,
• 12:57
  I
• 12:57
  suppose.
• 12:58
  And
• 12:58
  he's
• 12:59
  like
• 12:59
  this
• 13:00
  layabout
• 13:00
  just
• 13:01
  hanging
• 13:01
  out
• 13:01
  with
• 13:01
  his
• 13:01
  friends
• 13:02
  in
• 13:02
  the
• 13:02
  middle
• 13:02
  of
• 13:02
  the
• 13:02
  New
• 13:02
  Mexico
• 13:03
  desert,
• 13:03
  I
• 13:04
  think.
• 13:04
  I'm
• 13:04
  pretty
• 13:04
  sure
• 13:04
  it
• 13:04
  was
• 13:05
  New
• 13:05
  Mexico.
• 13:05
  And
• 13:05
  like,
• 13:05
  as
• 13:06
  Bruce
• 13:06
  Banner's,
• 13:07
  you
• 13:07
  know,
• 13:07
  gamma
• 13:08
  bomb
• 13:08
  is
• 13:08
  about
• 13:08
  to
• 13:08
  go
• 13:08
  off,
• 13:09
  he's
• 13:09
  one
• 13:09
  Bruce
• 13:10
  has
• 13:10
  to
• 13:10
  save.
• 13:11
  As
• 13:11
  the
• 13:11
  bomb
• 13:11
  goes
• 13:11
  off,
• 13:11
  he
• 13:12
  pushes
• 13:12
  him
• 13:12
  out
• 13:12
  of
• 13:12
  the
• 13:12
  way.
• 13:13
  And
• 13:13
  so
• 13:13
  he's
• 13:13
  always
• 13:14
  felt
• 13:14
  this
• 13:14
  kind
• 13:14
  of
• 13:14
  guilt
• 13:14
  of
• 13:15
  like,
• 13:15
  oh,
• 13:15
  no,
• 13:15
  I
• 13:15
  accidentally
• 13:16
  helped
• 13:16
  create
• 13:16
  the
• 13:16
  Hulk.
• 13:17
  So
• 13:17
  he's
• 13:18
  been
• 13:18
  a
• 13:18
  sidekick
• 13:18
  to
• 13:19
  many
• 13:19
  heroes
• 13:19
  for
• 13:19
  years,
• 13:20
  like
• 13:20
  starting
• 13:20
  off
• 13:20
  with
• 13:21
  the
• 13:21
  Hulk,
• 13:21
  Captain
• 13:22
  America.
• 13:23
  And
• 13:23
  there
• 13:23
  was
• 13:23
  a
• 13:23
  time
• 13:24
  when
• 13:24
  he
• 13:24
  and
• 13:24
  Captain
• 13:24
  Marvel,
• 13:25
  the
• 13:25
  original
• 13:25
  Mar?
• 13:26
  Vell,
• 13:27
  were
• 13:27
  tied
• 13:27
  in
• 13:28
  the
• 13:28
  Negative
• 13:28
  zone,
• 13:29
  where
• 13:29
  one
• 13:29
  will
• 13:29
  be
• 13:30
  in
• 13:30
  one,
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  other
• 13:30
  will
• 13:30
  be
• 13:30
  in
• 13:30
  the
• 13:31
  other.
• 13:31
  They
• 13:31
  could
• 13:31
  never
• 13:32
  be
• 13:32
  at
• 13:32
  the
• 13:32
  same
• 13:32
  place
• 13:32
  at
• 13:33
  the
• 13:33
  same
• 13:33
  time.
• 13:35
  He's
• 13:35
  been
• 13:35
  working
• 13:36
  with
• 13:36
  the
• 13:36
  Avengers
• 13:37
  before.
• 13:38
  More
• 13:39
  recently.
• 13:40
  Well,
• 13:40
  actually
• 13:41
  most
• 13:41
  recently,
• 13:41
  he's
• 13:42
  gained
• 13:42
  a
• 13:42
  symbiote
• 13:43
  because
• 13:43
  Marvel.
• 13:44
  But
• 13:44
  before
• 13:44
  that,
• 13:44
  he
• 13:44
  had
• 13:45
  also
• 13:45
  become
• 13:45
  a
• 13:45
  Hulk
• 13:46
  also
• 13:46
  because
• 13:46
  Marvel.
• 13:47
  The
• 13:47
  house
• 13:47
  of
• 13:47
  ideas,
• 13:48
  everyone.
• 13:49
  But
• 13:49
  the
• 13:50
  thing
• 13:50
  about
• 13:50
  Rick
• 13:50
  is
• 13:50
  that
• 13:51
  he's
• 13:51
  a
• 13:51
  person
• 13:51
  who's
• 13:52
  seen
• 13:52
  it
• 13:52
  all.
• 13:54
  And
• 13:54
  as
• 13:55
  someone
• 13:55
  who's
• 13:55
  gone
• 13:55
  through
• 13:55
  all
• 13:55
  that
• 13:56
  as
• 13:56
  just,
• 13:56
  for
• 13:56
  the
• 13:57
  most
• 13:57
  part,
• 13:57
  just
• 13:57
  an
• 13:58
  ordinary
• 13:58
  dude.
• 13:59
  For
• 13:59
  the
• 13:59
  longest
• 14:00
  time,
• 14:00
  he
• 14:00
  himself
• 14:00
  didn't
• 14:01
  have
• 14:01
  powers,
• 14:02
  but
• 14:02
  he
• 14:02
  was
• 14:03
  still
• 14:03
  helping
• 14:03
  out
• 14:03
  with
• 14:03
  these
• 14:04
  major
• 14:04
  events
• 14:05
  and
• 14:06
  making
• 14:06
  sure
• 14:06
  that
• 14:06
  the
• 14:06
  heroes
• 14:07
  reminded,
• 14:07
  hey,
• 14:08
  this
• 14:08
  is
• 14:08
  who
• 14:08
  we're
• 14:08
  fighting
• 14:09
  for.
• 14:09
  This
• 14:09
  regular
• 14:09
  Joe
• 14:10
  right
• 14:10
  here.
• 14:11
  Yeah,
• 14:11
  he's
• 14:11
  helping
• 14:12
  us.
• 14:12
  He's
• 14:12
  seen
• 14:12
  a
• 14:12
  lot
• 14:12
  of
• 14:13
  things,
• 14:13
  but,
• 14:13
  like,
• 14:13
  he's
• 14:13
  still
• 14:14
  just
• 14:14
  a
• 14:14
  guy.
• 14:15
  And
• 14:16
  that,
• 14:16
  that
• 14:17
  means
• 14:17
  a
• 14:17
  lot,
• 14:17
  you
• 14:18
  know,
• 14:18
  because
• 14:18
  if
• 14:18
  we
• 14:19
  were
• 14:19
  in
• 14:19
  the
• 14:19
  Marvel
• 14:19
  universe,
• 14:20
  chances
• 14:21
  are
• 14:22
  we
• 14:22
  would
• 14:22
  just
• 14:22
  be
• 14:23
  some
• 14:23
  guy,
• 14:23
  some
• 14:23
  gal.
• 14:24
  And
• 14:25
  who's
• 14:25
  protecting
• 14:26
  us
• 14:26
  or
• 14:26
  the
• 14:26
  bigger
• 14:26
  guys,
• 14:27
  let's
• 14:27
  support
• 14:27
  them
• 14:27
  in
• 14:27
  some
• 14:28
  way.
• 14:28
  And
• 14:28
  that's
• 14:28
  one
• 14:28
  thing
• 14:28
  Rick
• 14:29
  Jones
• 14:29
  does
• 14:29
  really
• 14:29
  well,
• 14:29
  is
• 14:29
  he
• 14:30
  helps
• 14:30
  support
• 14:30
  other
• 14:30
  people.
• 14:32
  So
• 14:32
  those
• 14:33
  are

  who
• 15:03
  helped
• 15:03
  save

  the

  day.
• 15:03
  It's
• 15:04
  pretty
• 15:04
  great.
• 15:05
  I'd
• 15:05
  also
• 15:06
  say
• 15:06
  for
• 15:06
  him,
• 15:07
  ingenuity
• 15:08
  and
• 15:08
  resourcefulness
• 15:09
  are
• 15:09
  big
• 15:10
  because
• 15:11
  he.
• 15:13
  There's
• 15:13
  a.
• 15:13
  There's
• 15:13
  one
• 15:14
  incredible
• 15:14
  Hulk
• 15:14
  comic.
• 15:15
  Peter
• 15:15
  David
• 15:16
  wrote

  Where
• 15:17
  in
• 15:17
  the
• 15:17
  previous
• 15:18
  issue,
• 15:18
  Rick
• 15:18
  Jones
• 15:19
  was
• 15:19
  in
• 15:19
  a
• 15:19
  plane
• 15:19
  that
• 15:19
  exploded.
• 15:20
  And
• 15:21
  we
• 15:21
  thought,
• 15:21
  oh,
• 15:21
  no,
• 15:21
  Rick
• 15:21
  is
• 15:22
  dead.
• 15:22
  And
• 15:22
  then
• 15:22
  the
• 15:23
  next
• 15:23
  issue,
• 15:24
  I'm
• 15:24
  pretty
• 15:24
  sure
• 15:24
  it's
• 15:24
  the
• 15:24
  next
• 15:25
  issue.
• 15:25
  He's
• 15:25
  like,
• 15:25
  he
• 15:26
  has
• 15:26
  a
• 15:26
  parachute
• 15:26
  on
• 15:27
  him.
• 15:27
  He's
• 15:27
  like,
• 15:27
  why'd
• 15:27
  you
• 15:27
  have
• 15:27
  a
• 15:28
  parachute
• 15:28
  on
• 15:28
  you?
• 15:28
  We
• 15:28
  didn't
• 15:29
  even
• 15:29
  know
• 15:29
  we
• 15:29
  were
• 15:29
  going
• 15:29
  to
• 15:29
  be
• 15:29
  on
• 15:29
  the
• 15:29
  plane.
• 15:30
  He's
• 15:30
  like,
• 15:30
  well,
• 15:30
  you
• 15:30
  always
• 15:30
  have
• 15:30
  to
• 15:31
  be
• 15:31
  prepared.
• 15:32
  And
• 15:32
  you
• 15:33
  know
• 15:33
  what,
• 15:33
  that's
• 15:33
  great.
• 15:34
  Now
• 15:34
  as
• 15:34
  far
• 15:34
  as,
• 15:34
  like,
• 15:35
  negative
• 15:35
  aspects
• 15:36
  of
• 15:36
  him
• 15:36
  like
• 15:36
  that,
• 15:37
  there
• 15:37
  is
• 15:37
  some
• 15:37
  envy
• 15:38
  in
• 15:38
  him
• 15:38
  of,
• 15:38
  you
• 15:38
  know,
• 15:39
  heroes
• 15:39
  of
• 15:40
  actually
• 15:40
  having
• 15:40
  the
• 15:40
  powers
• 15:41
  and
• 15:41
  everything.
• 15:41
  And
• 15:41
  I
• 15:41
  think
• 15:42
  that's
• 15:42
  one
• 15:42
  thing
• 15:42
  that's
• 15:42
  lost
• 15:43
  when
• 15:43
  you
• 15:43
  do
• 15:44
  give
• 15:44
  Rick
• 15:45
  powers.
• 15:45
  Like,
• 15:45
  he
• 15:45
  becomes
• 15:46
  a
• 15:46
  bomb
• 15:46
  for
• 15:46
  a
• 15:46
  little
• 15:46
  bit,
• 15:47
  which
• 15:47
  was,
• 15:48
  you
• 15:48
  know,
• 15:48
  a
• 15:48
  Hulk
• 15:49
  based
• 15:49
  hero
• 15:51
  for
• 15:51
  a
• 15:51
  time.
• 15:52
  Now
• 15:52
  he's
• 15:52
  got
• 15:53
  the
• 15:53
  sleeper
• 15:54
  symbiote
• 15:55
  once
• 15:55
  again
• 15:55
  because
• 15:56
  Marvel
• 15:56
  and
• 15:57
  like,
• 15:57
  he
• 15:57
  can
• 15:57
  sell
• 15:58
  great
• 15:58
  stories
• 15:58
  with
• 15:58
  that.
• 15:59
  But
• 15:59
  like,
• 15:59
  it
• 15:59
  misses
• 16:00
  the
• 16:00
  point
• 16:00
  of
• 16:00
  the.
• 16:00
  Rick
• 16:01
  is
• 16:01
  supposed
• 16:01
  to
• 16:01
  be
• 16:01
  the
• 16:01
  guy
• 16:02
  just.
• 16:02
  Just
• 16:03
  the
• 16:03
  regular
• 16:03
  dude.
• 16:04
  So
• 16:05
  that's
• 16:05
  all
• 16:05
  I
• 16:05
  have
• 16:06
  to
• 16:06
  say
• 16:06
  on
• 16:06
  him.
• 16:06
  Anything
• 16:06
  you
• 16:07
  want
• 16:07
  to
• 16:07
  add?
• 16:08
  You
• 16:08
  weren't
• 16:08
  kidding
• 16:09
  when
• 16:09
  you
• 16:09
  said
• 16:09
  Dark
• 16:09
  Horse.
• 16:10
  Like,
• 16:10
  I
• 16:11
  had
• 16:11
  to
• 16:11
  really
• 16:11
  think
• 16:11
  about
• 16:12
  that
• 16:12
  one.
• 16:12
  I
• 16:12
  like
• 16:12
  it.
• 16:13
  And
• 16:13
  I
• 16:13
  do
• 16:13
  love
• 16:13
  that
• 16:14
  idea
• 16:14
  of
• 16:14
  just
• 16:15
  the
• 16:15
  regular
• 16:16
  Joe
• 16:16
  Schmo.
• 16:17
  Super
• 16:18
  important.
• 16:19
  And
• 16:19
  they
• 16:19
  wouldn't
• 16:20
  have
• 16:20
  won
• 16:20
  these
• 16:20
  battles
• 16:21
  without
• 16:21
  him.
• 16:21
  Yeah,
• 16:22
  I
• 16:22
  think
• 16:22
  that's
• 16:23
  a
• 16:23
  really
• 16:23
  good
• 16:23
  pick.
• 16:24
  All
• 16:24
  right,
• 16:25
  well,
• 16:25
  that
• 16:25
  was
• 16:25
  my
• 16:25
  third
• 16:26
  pick
• 16:26
  and
• 16:26
  Jill's
• 16:27
  third
• 16:27
  pick.
• 16:27
  Let's
• 16:27
  go
• 16:27
  to
• 16:27
  your
• 16:28
  second
• 16:28
  pick.
• 16:29
  Okay.
• 16:29
  Number
• 16:30
  two,
• 16:31
  Black
• 16:31
  Panther.
• 16:33
  So
• 16:33
  I
• 16:34
  think
• 16:34
  when
• 16:34
  you
• 16:35
  think
• 16:35
  iconic,
• 16:35
  you
• 16:36
  have
• 16:36
  to
• 16:36
  think,
• 16:36
  okay,
• 16:37
  Marvel.
• 16:38
  Who's
• 16:38
  the
• 16:38
  first
• 16:38
  thing
• 16:38
  I
• 16:39
  think
• 16:39
  of?
• 16:39
  For
• 16:39
  me,
• 16:40
  Black
• 16:40
  Panther.
• 16:41
  And
• 16:42
  like,
• 16:42
  when
• 16:42
  the
• 16:42
  comics
• 16:43
  came
• 16:43
  out
• 16:43
  in
• 16:43
  the
• 16:44
  60s,
• 16:44
  I
• 16:44
  wasn't
• 16:45
  alive.
• 16:45
  I'm
• 16:45
  not
• 16:45
  that
• 16:45
  old.
• 16:48
  They
• 16:48
  came
• 16:48
  out
• 16:49
  kind
• 16:49
  of
• 16:49
  quiet.
• 16:49
  It
• 16:49
  wasn't
• 16:50
  like
• 16:50
  this
• 16:50
  great
• 16:51
  big
• 16:51
  splash.
• 16:53
  But
• 16:53
  it
• 16:53
  was
• 16:54
  the
• 16:54
  first.
• 16:55
  I
• 16:55
  think
• 16:55
  Don,
• 16:56
  I
• 16:56
  always
• 16:57
  forget
• 16:57
  his
• 16:57
  last
• 16:57
  name.
• 16:57
  It's
• 16:58
  MC.
• 16:58
  But
• 16:58
  the
• 16:58
  creator,
• 16:59
  Don
• 16:59
  McGregor.
• 17:00
  Oh,
• 17:01
  can't
• 17:02
  remember.
• 17:02
  Off
• 17:02
  top
• 17:02
  of
• 17:02
  my
• 17:02
  head,
• 17:02
  I
• 17:02
  know
• 17:03
  you're
• 17:03
  talking
• 17:03
  about.
• 17:04
  But
• 17:05
  he
• 17:05
  created
• 17:06
  him
• 17:06
  because
• 17:06
  he
• 17:06
  was
• 17:06
  like
• 17:07
  fascinated
• 17:07
  with
• 17:08
  this
• 17:08
  idea
• 17:08
  of
• 17:08
  Africa
• 17:09
  being
• 17:10
  presented,
• 17:11
  but
• 17:11
  not
• 17:11
  primitive.
• 17:12
  And
• 17:13
  so
• 17:13
  it
• 17:13
  was
• 17:14
  like,
• 17:14
  like
• 17:15
  a
• 17:15
  quiet
• 17:16
  radical
• 17:17
  move.
• 17:17
  It
• 17:17
  wasn't
• 17:18
  like
• 17:18
  this
• 17:18
  great
• 17:18
  big
• 17:19
  thing.
• 17:19
  Black
• 17:19
  Panther
• 17:20
  was
• 17:20
  not
• 17:20
  a
• 17:20
  super
• 17:20
  popular
• 17:21
  comic
• 17:21
  when
• 17:21
  it
• 17:21
  came
• 17:21
  out,
• 17:21
  but
• 17:22
  it
• 17:22
  was
• 17:22
  the
• 17:22
  first
• 17:22
  comic
• 17:23
  to
• 17:23
  have
• 17:24
  a
• 17:24
  black
• 17:24
  person
• 17:25
  as
• 17:25
  the
• 17:25
  hero.
• 17:26
  And
• 17:27
  it
• 17:27
  wasn't
• 17:28
  done
• 17:28
  as
• 17:28
  like
• 17:28
  kitsch.
• 17:29
  Like
• 17:30
  he
• 17:30
  just
• 17:30
  was
• 17:30
  super
• 17:31
  wealthy,
• 17:31
  came
• 17:32
  from
• 17:32
  this
• 17:33
  land
• 17:33
  that
• 17:33
  was
• 17:33
  really
• 17:34
  technologically
• 17:34
  advanced.
• 17:35
  And
• 17:36
  also
• 17:36
  he
• 17:36
  was
• 17:36
  super
• 17:37
  smart,
• 17:37
  which
• 17:37
  in
• 17:38
  its
• 17:38
  own
• 17:38
  right
• 17:38
  was
• 17:38
  really
• 17:39
  radical
• 17:39
  because
• 17:39
  that
• 17:39
  wasn't
• 17:40
  being
• 17:40
  shown
• 17:40
  in
• 17:40
  pop
• 17:40
  culture,
• 17:41
  like,
• 17:41
  yes,
• 17:42
  anywhere.
• 17:44
  So
• 17:44
  as
• 17:44
  a
• 17:44
  Comic.
• 17:45
  I
• 17:45
  just
• 17:45
  think
• 17:45
  it's
• 17:45
  iconic
• 17:46
  because
• 17:46
  it's
• 17:46
  the
• 17:46
  first.
• 17:48
  But
• 17:48
  my
• 17:48
  real,
• 17:49
  like
• 17:49
  pitch
• 17:49
  for
• 17:50
  why
• 17:50
  it
• 17:50
  is
• 17:51
  the
• 17:51
  one
• 17:52
  of
• 17:52
  the
• 17:52
  most
• 17:52
  iconic
• 17:53
  characters
• 17:53
  is
• 17:53
  what
• 17:54
  happened
• 17:54
  with
• 17:54
  the
• 17:55
  Marvel
• 17:55
  Cinematic
• 17:56
  Universe
• 17:57
  when
• 17:57
  Black
• 17:57
  Panther
• 17:57
  came
• 17:58
  on
• 17:58
  the
• 17:58
  scene,
• 17:59
  like
• 18:01
  explosion.
• 18:02
  It
• 18:02
  was
• 18:02
  the
• 18:03
  first
• 18:03
  superhero
• 18:04
  movie
• 18:04
  to
• 18:05
  gross
• 18:05
  like
• 18:05
  $700
• 18:06
  million.
• 18:08
  It
• 18:10
  at
• 18:10
  the
• 18:10
  time
• 18:10
  was
• 18:10
  the
• 18:11
  highest
• 18:11
  grossing
• 18:12
  box
• 18:12
  office
• 18:12
  hit
• 18:13
  of
• 18:13
  a
• 18:13
  superhero
• 18:13
  movie.
• 18:14
  And
• 18:15
  it
• 18:15
  was
• 18:15
  the
• 18:15
  first
• 18:15
  one
• 18:15
  to
• 18:16
  ever
• 18:16
  be
• 18:16
  nominated
• 18:17
  for
• 18:17
  best
• 18:18
  picture
• 18:18
  in
• 18:19
  the
• 18:19
  Academy
• 18:19
  Awards.
• 18:20
  Like
• 18:21
  things
• 18:21
  that
• 18:21
  I
• 18:22
  believe
• 18:22
  the
• 18:23
  general
• 18:23
  population
• 18:23
  and
• 18:24
  for
• 18:24
  sure
• 18:24
  even
• 18:25
  the
• 18:25
  creators
• 18:25
  of
• 18:26
  the
• 18:26
  MCU
• 18:26
  probably
• 18:27
  didn't
• 18:27
  think
• 18:27
  was
• 18:27
  possible
• 18:28
  for
• 18:28
  their
• 18:28
  universe.
• 18:29
  And
• 18:30
  then
• 18:30
  it
• 18:30
  was
• 18:30
  the
• 18:30
  first
• 18:30
  one
• 18:31
  to
• 18:31
  be
• 18:31
  global.
• 18:32
  Like,
• 18:32
  it
• 18:32
  really
• 18:32
  proved
• 18:33
  to
• 18:33
  Marvel
• 18:33
  what
• 18:33
  we
• 18:33
  have
• 18:34
  is
• 18:34
  not
• 18:34
  just
• 18:34
  for
• 18:34
  US
• 18:35
  audiences,
• 18:35
  but
• 18:36
  we
• 18:36
  can
• 18:36
  take
• 18:36
  this
• 18:36
  worldwide
• 18:38
  super
• 18:38
  iconic.
• 18:39
  But
• 18:39
  then
• 18:40
  the
• 18:40
  Black
• 18:40
  Panther
• 18:41
  himself.
• 18:42
  Man,
• 18:42
  what
• 18:43
  a
• 18:43
  guy.
• 18:45
  Well,
• 18:45
  t'
• 18:46
  Challa
• 18:46
  is
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  solid
• 18:47
  pick.
• 18:48
  It
• 18:48
  was
• 18:49
  Leon
• 18:50
  Kirby
• 18:50
  did.
• 18:51
  Introduced
• 18:52
  him
• 18:52
  in
• 18:52
  Fantastic
• 18:52
  452,
• 18:53
  but
• 18:53
  McGregor
• 18:54
  in
• 18:55
  Jungle
• 18:55
  Action
• 18:56
  where
• 18:56
  he
• 18:56
  was
• 18:56
  like
• 18:56
  the
• 18:57
  lead
• 18:57
  hero.
• 18:58
  I
• 18:58
  remember
• 18:58
  my
• 18:59
  dad
• 18:59
  has
• 18:59
  many
• 18:59
  of
• 19:00
  those,
• 19:00
  so
• 19:00
  I've
• 19:00
  read
• 19:00
  them.
• 19:02
  Yeah,
• 19:02
  that's
• 19:03
  a
• 19:03
  good
• 19:03
  one
• 19:03
  because
• 19:04
  yeah,
• 19:05
  once
• 19:05
  again,
• 19:05
  as
• 19:05
  you
• 19:05
  said,
• 19:05
  like
• 19:06
  in
• 19:06
  the
• 19:06
  60s,
• 19:07
  like,
• 19:07
  it
• 19:07
  was
• 19:07
  intentionally
• 19:08
  done
• 19:08
  by
• 19:08
  Lee
• 19:08
  and
• 19:09
  Kirby.
• 19:09
  Truly,
• 19:09
  like,
• 19:09
  okay,
• 19:10
  we're
• 19:10
  going
• 19:10
  to
• 19:10
  make
• 19:10
  an
• 19:11
  African
• 19:11
  character.
• 19:12
  What
• 19:13
  are
• 19:13
  we
• 19:13
  going
• 19:13
  to
• 19:13
  do
• 19:13
  with
• 19:14
  that?
• 19:15
  And
• 19:15
  we're
• 19:15
  going
• 19:15
  to
• 19:15
  actually
• 19:16
  make
• 19:16
  him
• 19:17
  this
• 19:18
  king,
• 19:19
  this
• 19:19
  respected
• 19:20
  scientist
• 19:21
  who's,
• 19:22
  you
• 19:22
  know,
• 19:22
  very
• 19:23
  intelligent
• 19:23
  and
• 19:24
  like,
• 19:24
  how
• 19:24
  he
• 19:24
  like
• 19:25
  almost
• 19:25
  beats
• 19:26
  the
• 19:26
  Fantastic
• 19:26
  Four
• 19:27
  in
• 19:27
  many
• 19:27
  respects,
• 19:28
  but,
• 19:28
  like,
• 19:29
  done
• 19:29
  for
• 19:29
  the
• 19:29
  sake
• 19:29
  of
• 19:29
  testing
• 19:30
  them
• 19:30
  and
• 19:30
  him
• 19:30
  so
• 19:31
  that
• 19:31
  they
• 19:31
  can
• 19:31
  fight
• 19:31
  against
• 19:31
  CLAW
• 19:32
  and
• 19:33
  get
• 19:33
  the
• 19:33
  revenge
• 19:33
  that
• 19:34
  he
• 19:34
  wants
• 19:34
  on
• 19:34
  that.
• 19:34
  And
• 19:35
  the
• 19:35
  whole
• 19:35
  thing
• 19:35
  of
• 19:35
  Wakanda
• 19:36
  being
• 19:36
  this
• 19:36
  nation
• 19:37
  that
• 19:37
  over
• 19:37
  time
• 19:37
  gets
• 19:38
  built
• 19:38
  into
• 19:38
  more
• 19:38
  than
• 19:38
  what
• 19:39
  they
• 19:39
  envision
• 19:40
  into
• 19:40
  this
• 19:40
  larger
• 19:41
  nation
• 19:41
  that
• 19:42
  resisted,
• 19:42
  you
• 19:42
  know,
• 19:42
  imperialism
• 19:44
  and
• 19:44
  through
• 19:45
  the
• 19:45
  use
• 19:45
  of
• 19:45
  Vibranium
• 19:46
  and
• 19:46
  like,
• 19:46
  was
• 19:47
  very
• 19:47
  isolationist,
• 19:48
  very
• 19:49
  rarely
• 19:49
  coming
• 19:49
  out
• 19:50
  into
• 19:50
  world
• 19:51
  events.
• 19:51
  Like
• 19:51
  every
• 19:51
  now
• 19:52
  and
• 19:52
  then,
• 19:55
  I
• 19:56
  can't
• 19:56
  remember
• 19:56
  because
• 19:57
  he
• 19:57
  used
• 19:57
  to.
• 19:57
  Dad.
• 19:58
  Yeah,
• 19:58
  okay.
• 19:59
  The
• 19:59
  grandfather
• 20:00
  is
• 20:00
  who
• 20:00
  it
• 20:00
  is
• 20:00
  now
• 20:01
  because,
• 20:01
  you
• 20:01
  know,
• 20:01
  with,
• 20:01
  you
• 20:02
  know,
• 20:02
  time
• 20:02
  dilation
• 20:03
  and
• 20:03
  everything.
• 20:03
  Yeah.
• 20:05
  As
• 20:06
  things
• 20:06
  go
• 20:06
  on,
• 20:06
  like
• 20:07
  him
• 20:07
  going
• 20:07
  out
• 20:07
  and
• 20:07
  helping
• 20:07
  Captain
• 20:08
  America
• 20:08
  a
• 20:08
  couple
• 20:08
  times
• 20:09
  during
• 20:09
  World
• 20:09
  War
• 20:09
  II.
• 20:11
  T'
• 20:11
  Challa
• 20:12
  has
• 20:12
  always
• 20:12
  been
• 20:12
  one
• 20:12
  of
• 20:13
  those
• 20:13
  people
• 20:13
  I
• 20:13
  really
• 20:14
  respect
• 20:14
  because
• 20:15
  of
• 20:15
  how
• 20:16
  he's
• 20:17
  a
• 20:17
  king,
• 20:17
  like,
• 20:17
  literally
• 20:18
  a
• 20:18
  king.
• 20:18
  And
• 20:18
  yet
• 20:19
  what
• 20:19
  does
• 20:19
  he
• 20:19
  do
• 20:19
  with
• 20:19
  his
• 20:20
  time?
• 20:20
  He
• 20:20
  looks
• 20:20
  after
• 20:20
  his
• 20:20
  people,
• 20:21
  but
• 20:21
  he
• 20:21
  also
• 20:21
  looks
• 20:22
  after
• 20:22
  the
• 20:22
  world
• 20:23
  as
• 20:23
  a
• 20:23
  member
• 20:23
  of
• 20:24
  the
• 20:24
  Avengers
• 20:24
  or
• 20:24
  on
• 20:24
  solo
• 20:25
  projects
• 20:25
  and
• 20:25
  stuff
• 20:26
  like
• 20:26
  that,
• 20:26
  because
• 20:27
  he
• 20:27
  cares,
• 20:27
  because
• 20:28
  he
• 20:28
  wants
• 20:28
  to
• 20:28
  expand
• 20:29
  Wakanda
• 20:29
  influence
• 20:30
  in
• 20:30
  a
• 20:30
  positive
• 20:31
  way
• 20:31
  rather
• 20:31
  than
• 20:31
  just
• 20:32
  saying,
• 20:32
  oh,
• 20:32
  we
• 20:32
  have
• 20:33
  in
• 20:33
  many
• 20:33
  respects,
• 20:34
  they
• 20:34
  have
• 20:34
  this
• 20:34
  huge
• 20:34
  responsibility
• 20:35
  to
• 20:35
  look
• 20:36
  at
• 20:36
  the
• 20:36
  vibranium
• 20:37
  they
• 20:37
  have.
• 20:37
  But
• 20:37
  now
• 20:37
  what
• 20:37
  do
• 20:38
  we
• 20:38
  do
• 20:38
  with
• 20:38
  that
• 20:38
  power?
• 20:40
  Very
• 20:40
  Spider
• 20:41
  man
• 20:41
  esque
• 20:42
  in
• 20:42
  certain
• 20:42
  aspects
• 20:42
  of
• 20:43
  that.
• 20:44
  So,
• 20:44
  yeah.
• 20:44
  T',
• 20:45
  Challa,
• 20:45
  great
• 20:45
  pick.
• 20:47
  So
• 20:47
  anything
• 20:47
  about
• 20:48
  him
• 20:49
  that
• 20:49
  you
• 20:49
  think
• 20:50
  that
• 20:50
  we
• 20:50
  should
• 20:51
  emulate
• 20:51
  or
• 20:52
  excise?
• 20:53
  Yeah,
• 20:53
  I
• 20:54
  think
• 20:54
  it's
• 20:54
  this,
• 20:55
  like,
• 20:56
  commitment
• 20:57
  to
• 20:57
  tradition,
• 20:58
  I
• 20:59
  think
• 20:59
  is
• 20:59
  something
• 20:59
  to
• 21:00
  emulate.
• 21:00
  I
• 21:00
  think
• 21:01
  he
• 21:01
  has
• 21:01
  a
• 21:01
  great
• 21:01
  responsibility
• 21:02
  to
• 21:02
  his
• 21:03
  people,
• 21:03
  to
• 21:04
  his
• 21:04
  title.
• 21:06
  I
• 21:06
  mean,
• 21:06
  you
• 21:07
  really
• 21:07
  named
• 21:07
  it
• 21:07
  when
• 21:07
  you
• 21:08
  said
• 21:08
  he
• 21:08
  does
• 21:08
  a.
• 21:09
  He
• 21:09
  does
• 21:09
  a
• 21:09
  fantastic
• 21:10
  job
• 21:10
  of
• 21:10
  caring
• 21:11
  for
• 21:11
  his
• 21:11
  own
• 21:12
  kingdom,
• 21:12
  but
• 21:13
  then,
• 21:13
  like,
• 21:13
  takes
• 21:14
  that
• 21:14
  out
• 21:14
  to
• 21:14
  the
• 21:14
  next
• 21:14
  level
• 21:15
  to
• 21:15
  take
• 21:15
  care
• 21:15
  of
• 21:15
  the
• 21:15
  world.
• 21:16
  I
• 21:16
  think
• 21:16
  we
• 21:17
  need
• 21:17
  to
• 21:17
  think
• 21:17
  like
• 21:17
  that
• 21:20
  now.
• 21:20
  He.
• 21:21
  He's
• 21:22
  complicated
• 21:22
  and
• 21:23
  the
• 21:23
  Christopher
• 21:23
  Priest
• 21:24
  version,
• 21:24
  like,
• 21:24
  that
• 21:24
  comes
• 21:25
  out
• 21:25
  in
• 21:25
  the
• 21:25
  90s.
• 21:25
  Like,
• 21:26
  he
• 21:26
  really
• 21:27
  shows
• 21:27
  his
• 21:27
  complexity.
• 21:29
  And,
• 21:30
  you
• 21:30
  know,
• 21:31
  there's
• 21:31
  some
• 21:31
  moral
• 21:31
  ambiguity.
• 21:32
  There's
• 21:33
  like,
• 21:33
  he
• 21:33
  does
• 21:33
  things
• 21:34
  for
• 21:34
  the
• 21:34
  sake
• 21:34
  of
• 21:34
  revenge.
• 21:35
  I
• 21:35
  think
• 21:35
  we
• 21:35
  need
• 21:36
  to
• 21:36
  excise
• 21:37
  that
• 21:37
  out
• 21:37
  of
• 21:37
  ourselves.
• 21:38
  It's
• 21:39
  natural.
• 21:40
  Someone
• 21:40
  hurts
• 21:40
  me,
• 21:40
  I
• 21:40
  want
• 21:41
  to
• 21:41
  hurt
• 21:41
  them
• 21:41
  back
• 21:41
  even
• 21:41
  harder.
• 21:43
  Yeah.
• 21:44
  But
• 21:44
  I
• 21:45
  also
• 21:45
  think,
• 21:45
  like,
• 21:46
  because
• 21:46
  of
• 21:46
  the,
• 21:47
  like,
• 21:47
  mcu,
• 21:48
  like
• 21:48
  Chadwick
• 21:49
  Boseman
• 21:50
  in
• 21:50
  himself
• 21:50
  is
• 21:51
  iconic.
• 21:52
  Yes,
• 21:53
  very
• 21:53
  much
• 21:53
  so.
• 21:54
  And
• 21:55
  yeah,
• 21:56
  it's
• 21:56
  so
• 21:57
  intentional.
• 21:59
  One
• 21:59
  of
• 21:59
  the
• 21:59
  great
• 22:00
  tragedies
• 22:00
  that
• 22:00
  he
• 22:01
  had
• 22:01
  to
• 22:01
  deal
• 22:01
  with,
• 22:01
  the
• 22:02
  cancer
• 22:02
  diagnosis
• 22:03
  and
• 22:03
  he
• 22:03
  wasn't
• 22:03
  able
• 22:03
  to
• 22:04
  live
• 22:04
  for
• 22:04
  as
• 22:04
  long
• 22:04
  as
• 22:04
  he
• 22:04
  should
• 22:05
  have.
• 22:05
  But,
• 22:05
  I
• 22:05
  mean,
• 22:05
  it's
• 22:06
  the
• 22:06
  fallen
• 22:06
  world
• 22:06
  we
• 22:06
  live
• 22:06
  in,
• 22:07
  unfortunately,
• 22:08
  where
• 22:08
  disease
• 22:09
  can
• 22:09
  happen
• 22:09
  to
• 22:09
  anyone.
• 22:10
  Yeah.
• 22:12
  Yeah.
• 22:12
  For
• 22:12
  things
• 22:13
  like,
• 22:13
  we
• 22:13
  should,
• 22:13
  like,
• 22:14
  emulate
• 22:14
  about
• 22:15
  him,
• 22:15
  like,
• 22:15
  the
• 22:16
  nobility
• 22:16
  that
• 22:16
  he
• 22:16
  has,
• 22:17
  the
• 22:17
  love
• 22:17
  that
• 22:17
  he
• 22:17
  has
• 22:18
  for
• 22:18
  his
• 22:18
  people,
• 22:19
  for
• 22:19
  the
• 22:19
  people
• 22:20
  he
• 22:20
  cares
• 22:20
  about,
• 22:20
  and
• 22:20
  not
• 22:21
  even.
• 22:21
  Not
• 22:21
  even
• 22:21
  the
• 22:21
  people
• 22:21
  he
• 22:21
  cares
• 22:22
  about,
• 22:22
  like,
• 22:22
  the
• 22:22
  people
• 22:23
  he
• 22:23
  doesn't
• 22:23
  know
• 22:24
  that
• 22:24
  he
• 22:24
  works
• 22:24
  to
• 22:24
  fight
• 22:25
  for.
• 22:25
  And
• 22:25
  that's
• 22:25
  a
• 22:25
  huge
• 22:26
  part
• 22:26
  of.
• 22:26
  Any
• 22:26
  good
• 22:26
  Avenger
• 22:27
  will
• 22:27
  have
• 22:27
  that
• 22:28
  kind
• 22:28
  of
• 22:28
  ideal.
• 22:28
  If
• 22:28
  I'm
• 22:29
  fighting
• 22:29
  for
• 22:29
  people
• 22:29
  I
• 22:29
  don't
• 22:29
  know
• 22:30
  in
• 22:30
  the
• 22:30
  same
• 22:30
  way,
• 22:31
  like,
• 22:31
  that
• 22:31
  we
• 22:31
  fight
• 22:32
  for
• 22:32
  people
• 22:32
  that
• 22:32
  we
• 22:32
  don't
• 22:33
  know
• 22:33
  so
• 22:34
  that
• 22:34
  their
• 22:34
  lives
• 22:35
  are
• 22:35
  okay
• 22:36
  and
• 22:36
  they're
• 22:36
  taken
• 22:36
  care
• 22:36
  of
• 22:38
  as
• 22:38
  far
• 22:39
  and
• 22:39
  as
• 22:39
  well,
• 22:39
  there's
• 22:40
  a
• 22:40
  moment
• 22:41
  when
• 22:41
  Bendis
• 22:42
  was
• 22:42
  making
• 22:42
  up
• 22:42
  the
• 22:42
  Illuminati
• 22:44
  for
• 22:45
  Marvel.
• 22:46
  T'
• 22:46
  Challa
• 22:47
  was
• 22:47
  invited
• 22:47
  to
• 22:47
  join.
• 22:48
  And
• 22:48
  he
• 22:48
  said,
• 22:48
  look,
• 22:49
  I
• 22:49
  get
• 22:49
  what
• 22:49
  you're
• 22:50
  doing.
• 22:50
  It
• 22:51
  makes
• 22:51
  sense.
• 22:51
  But
• 22:51
  at
• 22:52
  the
• 22:52
  same
• 22:52
  time,
• 22:52
  we
• 22:52
  can't
• 22:52
  be
• 22:53
  the
• 22:53
  ones
• 22:53
  to
• 22:53
  make
• 22:53
  all
• 22:53
  these
• 22:54
  decisions.
• 22:55
  And
• 22:55
  he
• 22:57
  doesn't
• 22:57
  join
• 22:57
  the
• 22:57
  Illuminati.
• 22:58
  And
• 22:58
  that,
• 22:58
  in
• 22:59
  the
• 22:59
  end,
• 22:59
  doesn't
• 23:00
  blow
• 23:00
  up
• 23:00
  in
• 23:00
  his
• 23:00
  face
• 23:01
  as
• 23:01
  it
• 23:01
  does
• 23:01
  for
• 23:01
  pretty
• 23:02
  much
• 23:02
  everyone
• 23:02
  else,
• 23:03
  because,
• 23:05
  well,
• 23:05
  he
• 23:05
  said,
• 23:05
  well,
• 23:05
  maybe
• 23:06
  we
• 23:06
  shouldn't
• 23:06
  be
• 23:06
  the
• 23:06
  ultimate
• 23:07
  arbiters
• 23:07
  of
• 23:07
  what
• 23:08
  is
• 23:08
  right
• 23:08
  and
• 23:08
  what
• 23:08
  is
• 23:08
  wrong.
• 23:08
  Like,
• 23:09
  yeah,
• 23:09
  they
• 23:09
  do
• 23:10
  the
• 23:10
  heroic
• 23:10
  actions
• 23:11
  and
• 23:11
  they
• 23:11
  are
• 23:11
  making
• 23:12
  a
• 23:12
  statement
• 23:12
  about
• 23:12
  that.
• 23:12
  But
• 23:13
  like
• 23:13
  actually
• 23:14
  like
• 23:14
  all
• 23:14
  these
• 23:14
  things
• 23:15
  that
• 23:15
  they're
• 23:15
  trying
• 23:15
  to
• 23:15
  do.
• 23:16
  Maybe
• 23:16
  not
• 23:16
  so
• 23:16
  much
• 23:17
  now
• 23:18
  as
• 23:18
  far
• 23:18
  as
• 23:18
  excising
• 23:19
  aspects.
• 23:22
  I
• 23:22
  mean,
• 23:22
  that
• 23:23
  does
• 23:23
  come
• 23:23
  and
• 23:23
  it's
• 23:24
  the
• 23:24
  younger
• 23:25
  t'
• 23:25
  Challa
• 23:25
  for
• 23:25
  the
• 23:25
  most
• 23:26
  part.
• 23:26
  It
• 23:26
  shows
• 23:27
  up
• 23:27
  other
• 23:27
  runs
• 23:28
  too.
• 23:28
  A
• 23:28
  little
• 23:29
  bit
• 23:29
  of
• 23:29
  arrogance
• 23:29
  too,
• 23:29
  of
• 23:30
  thinking,
• 23:30
  well,
• 23:31
  nope,
• 23:31
  I'm
• 23:32
  right
• 23:32
  because
• 23:32
  of
• 23:33
  I
• 23:34
  am
• 23:34
  a
• 23:34
  king.
• 23:35
  I
• 23:35
  am
• 23:36
  the
• 23:36
  Black
• 23:36
  Panther.
• 23:37
  And
• 23:37
  therefore
• 23:37
  if
• 23:38
  I
• 23:38
  do
• 23:38
  and
• 23:38
  say
• 23:38
  something,
• 23:39
  that
• 23:39
  must
• 23:39
  be
• 23:39
  the
• 23:39
  right
• 23:40
  thing.
• 23:40
  And
• 23:40
  sometimes
• 23:41
  that
• 23:41
  has
• 23:41
  blown
• 23:41
  up
• 23:42
  in
• 23:42
  his
• 23:42
  face.
• 23:44
  But
• 23:44
  for
• 23:45
  the
• 23:45
  most
• 23:45
  part,
• 23:45
  I
• 23:45
  mean,
• 23:46
  I
• 23:47
  don't
• 23:47
  know
• 23:47
  too
• 23:47
  much
• 23:48
  what
• 23:48
  else
• 23:48
  I
• 23:48
  would
• 23:48
  take
• 23:48
  away
• 23:49
  from
• 23:49
  him
• 23:49
  because
• 23:50
  he's
• 23:50
  very
• 23:50
  cold
• 23:51
  and
• 23:51
  calculating
• 23:52
  at
• 23:52
  the
• 23:52
  same
• 23:52
  time.
• 23:53
  He's
• 23:53
  also
• 23:53
  very
• 23:53
  loving
• 23:54
  to
• 23:55
  around
• 23:55
  him.
• 23:56
  So
• 23:56
  yeah.
• 23:57
  T',
• 23:57
  Challa,
• 23:57
  Black
• 23:57
  Panther,
• 23:58
  excellent
• 23:58
  pick
• 23:58
  again,
• 23:59
  Jill.
• 24:00
  Thanks.
• 24:01
  Anything
• 24:01
  else
• 24:01
  you
• 24:01
  want
• 24:01
  to
• 24:02
  add
• 24:02
  for
• 24:02
  them?
• 24:02
  No,
• 24:03
  we're
• 24:03
  good.
• 24:03
  What's
• 24:03
  your
• 24:04
  number
• 24:04
  two?
• 24:05
  All
• 24:05
  right.
• 24:05
  My
• 24:06
  number
• 24:06
  two
• 24:07
  is
• 24:07
  Aunt
• 24:08
  Petunia's
• 24:08
  favorite
• 24:08
  nephew,
• 24:09
  the
• 24:09
  ever
• 24:09
  loving
• 24:10
  blue
• 24:10
  eyed
• 24:11
  thing.
• 24:13
  I
• 24:14
  love
• 24:14
  the
• 24:14
  Thing.
• 24:15
  If
• 24:15
  you
• 24:15
  don't
• 24:15
  know
• 24:15
  who
• 24:15
  the
• 24:15
  Thing
• 24:16
  is,
• 24:16
  you
• 24:16
  don't
• 24:17
  know
• 24:17
  who
• 24:17
  the
• 24:17
  Fantastic
• 24:18
  Four
• 24:18
  are.
• 24:18
  They
• 24:18
  are
• 24:18
  the
• 24:19
  start
• 24:19
  of
• 24:19
  Marvel
• 24:20
  without
• 24:20
  them.
• 24:21
  I
• 24:21
  mean,
• 24:21
  yeah,
• 24:21
  we
• 24:21
  had
• 24:22
  in
• 24:22
  the
• 24:22
  40s
• 24:22
  Captain
• 24:23
  America
• 24:23
  and
• 24:24
  the
• 24:24
  human
• 24:24
  torture
• 24:24
  and
• 24:24
  Namor
• 24:25
  and
• 24:25
  all
• 24:25
  that,
• 24:25
  but
• 24:26
  moving
• 24:26
  on
• 24:27
  to
• 24:27
  the
• 24:27
  60s,
• 24:27
  that's
• 24:28
  the
• 24:28
  relaunch
• 24:28
  really
• 24:29
  of
• 24:29
  the
• 24:29
  Marvel
• 24:29
  Universe
• 24:30
  as
• 24:30
  a
• 24:30
  whole.
• 24:31
  And
• 24:31
  these
• 24:32
  ragtag
• 24:32
  groups
• 24:33
  of
• 24:33
  friends
• 24:34
  and
• 24:34
  family
• 24:35
  who
• 24:35
  go
• 24:35
  into
• 24:35
  space
• 24:36
  on
• 24:36
  this
• 24:36
  reckless
• 24:37
  mission,
• 24:37
  come
• 24:37
  back
• 24:37
  with
• 24:37
  superpowers
• 24:38
  and
• 24:40
  the
• 24:40
  good
• 24:40
  looking
• 24:40
  pilot
• 24:41
  who
• 24:41
  was
• 24:41
  very
• 24:41
  proud
• 24:41
  of
• 24:42
  his
• 24:42
  looks
• 24:42
  now
• 24:42
  suddenly
• 24:43
  is
• 24:43
  this
• 24:43
  hulking
• 24:44
  orange
• 24:45
  monstrosity.
• 24:46
  And
• 24:46
  every
• 24:47
  time
• 24:47
  he
• 24:47
  looks
• 24:47
  at
• 24:47
  himself
• 24:48
  in
• 24:48
  a
• 24:48
  mirror,
• 24:48
  he's
• 24:48
  reminded
• 24:49
  that
• 24:50
  everyone
• 24:50
  else
• 24:50
  got
• 24:50
  this
• 24:51
  and
• 24:51
  this
• 24:52
  is
• 24:52
  what
• 24:52
  I
• 24:52
  look
• 24:52
  like.
• 24:54
  And
• 24:54
  there's
• 24:55
  been
• 24:55
  multiple
• 24:55
  times
• 24:55
  throughout,
• 24:56
  you
• 24:56
  know,
• 24:56
  Dan's
• 24:57
  life
• 24:57
  where
• 24:57
  he's
• 24:58
  just
• 24:58
  down
• 24:58
  on
• 24:58
  himself
• 24:59
  because
• 24:59
  he
• 24:59
  wants
• 24:59
  to
• 25:00
  be
• 25:00
  more
• 25:00
  human.
• 25:01
  And
• 25:02
  pretty
• 25:02
  much
• 25:02
  he's
• 25:02
  the
• 25:02
  most
• 25:03
  human
• 25:03
  member
• 25:03
  of
• 25:03
  the
• 25:03
  team
• 25:04
  most
• 25:04
  of
• 25:04
  the
• 25:04
  time
• 25:05
  because
• 25:05
  of
• 25:05
  how
• 25:05
  much
• 25:06
  he
• 25:06
  wrestles
• 25:06
  with
• 25:06
  it.
• 25:07
  You've
• 25:07
  got
• 25:07
  the
• 25:08
  great
• 25:08
  early
• 25:08
  story
• 25:09
  of
• 25:09
  this
• 25:09
  man,
• 25:09
  this
• 25:10
  monster,
• 25:10
  where
• 25:10
  he,
• 25:11
  through
• 25:11
  his
• 25:12
  nobility,
• 25:12
  actually
• 25:13
  inspires
• 25:13
  an
• 25:13
  evil
• 25:14
  scientist
• 25:14
  to
• 25:14
  repent
• 25:15
  of
• 25:15
  his
• 25:15
  ways
• 25:15
  and
• 25:15
  give
• 25:16
  him
• 25:16
  back
• 25:16
  his
• 25:17
  body.
• 25:18
  Way
• 25:18
  back
• 25:18
  early
• 25:19
  on.
• 25:19
  But.
• 25:20
  But
• 25:20
  for
• 25:20
  me,
• 25:21
  the
• 25:21
  Thing
• 25:21
  will
• 25:21
  always
• 25:22
  be.
• 25:22
  I
• 25:23
  mean,
• 25:23
  my
• 25:23
  two
• 25:24
  favorite
• 25:24
  series
• 25:25
  really
• 25:25
  are
• 25:25
  Marvel
• 25:26
  Team
• 25:26
  up
• 25:26
  and
• 25:26
  Marvel
• 25:26
  2
• 25:27
  in
• 25:27
  one
• 25:28
  and
• 25:28
  spoilers
• 25:29
  for
• 25:29
  what's
• 25:29
  going
• 25:29
  to
• 25:29
  happen
• 25:29
  later
• 25:30
  on
• 25:30
  for
• 25:30
  my
• 25:30
  number
• 25:30
  one
• 25:30
  pick.
• 25:31
  And
• 25:31
  you
• 25:31
  pretty
• 25:31
  much
• 25:31
  Knew
• 25:31
  it
• 25:31
  because
• 25:32
  he's
• 25:32
  my
• 25:33
  avatar
• 25:33
  in
• 25:33
  the
• 25:34
  series
• 25:34
  anyways.
• 25:34
  But
• 25:36
  seeing
• 25:37
  Ben
• 25:37
  Grimm
• 25:38
  interact
• 25:38
  with
• 25:38
  other
• 25:38
  Marvel
• 25:39
  superheroes
• 25:40
  shows
• 25:40
  who
• 25:41
  he
• 25:41
  is
• 25:41
  to
• 25:41
  me
• 25:42
  as
• 25:42
  someone
• 25:42
  who's
• 25:42
  always
• 25:43
  willing
• 25:43
  to
• 25:43
  work
• 25:43
  with
• 25:43
  other
• 25:43
  people.
• 25:44
  Yeah,
• 25:44
  he's
• 25:45
  a
• 25:45
  little
• 25:45
  rough
• 25:45
  around
• 25:45
  the
• 25:46
  edges.
• 25:46
  I
• 25:46
  mean,
• 25:46
  quite
• 25:46
  literally
• 25:47
  at
• 25:47
  points.
• 25:47
  But
• 25:47
  also
• 25:48
  he
• 25:48
  can
• 25:48
  be
• 25:48
  cantankerous.
• 25:50
  But
• 25:50
  he
• 25:51
  really.
• 25:51
  If
• 25:51
  there's
• 25:51
  any
• 25:51
  person
• 25:52
  outside
• 25:52
  of,
• 25:53
  you
• 25:53
  know,
• 25:53
  Captain
• 25:53
  America
• 25:54
  and
• 25:55
  maybe
• 25:55
  even
• 25:55
  Spider
• 25:56
  man
• 25:56
  that
• 25:56
  people
• 25:56
  would
• 25:56
  be
• 25:56
  willing
• 25:57
  to
• 25:57
  work
• 25:57
  with,
• 25:57
  no
• 25:58
  questions
• 25:58
  asked,
• 25:58
  I
• 25:58
  think
• 25:58
  it
• 25:59
  would
• 25:59
  be
• 25:59
  then
• 25:59
  Grimm,
• 26:00
  because
• 26:01
  he's
• 26:01
  easy
• 26:02
  to
• 26:02
  work
• 26:02
  with
• 26:02
  once
• 26:02
  you
• 26:03
  get
• 26:03
  to
• 26:03
  know
• 26:03
  him.
• 26:04
  And
• 26:04
  yet
• 26:05
  it'll
• 26:05
  be,
• 26:05
  you
• 26:05
  know,
• 26:06
  this
• 26:06
  classic,
• 26:06
  you
• 26:07
  know,
• 26:07
  let's
• 26:07
  you
• 26:07
  and
• 26:07
  him
• 26:07
  fight
• 26:08
  moments.
• 26:08
  But
• 26:08
  they'll
• 26:09
  get
• 26:09
  over
• 26:09
  it
• 26:09
  and
• 26:09
  they'll
• 26:09
  become
• 26:10
  friends
• 26:10
  at
• 26:10
  the
• 26:10
  end
• 26:10
  of
• 26:10
  it.
• 26:11
  Like
• 26:11
  to
• 26:11
  the
• 26:11
  point
• 26:12
  where,
• 26:12
  you
• 26:12
  know,
• 26:12
  when
• 26:12
  the
• 26:12
  Sandman
• 26:13
  was
• 26:13
  becoming
• 26:16
  a
• 26:16
  little
• 26:16
  more
• 26:16
  reformed.
• 26:17
  It
• 26:17
  wasn't
• 26:17
  Spider
• 26:17
  man
• 26:18
  who
• 26:18
  did
• 26:18
  that.
• 26:18
  It
• 26:18
  was
• 26:19
  Ben
• 26:19
  Grimm
• 26:19
  working
• 26:20
  with
• 26:20
  him
• 26:20
  that
• 26:20
  actually
• 26:20
  led
• 26:21
  him
• 26:21
  to
• 26:21
  the
• 26:21
  point
• 26:21
  where
• 26:21
  Sandman
• 26:22
  became
• 26:22
  a
• 26:22
  reserve
• 26:22
  avenger
• 26:23
  until,
• 26:24
  you
• 26:24
  know,
• 26:24
  comics
• 26:24
  happened
• 26:25
  and
• 26:25
  retcons
• 26:26
  and
• 26:26
  all
• 26:27
  that
• 26:27
  madness.
• 26:27
  But
• 26:28
  here's
• 26:28
  what
• 26:28
  it
• 26:29
  is.
• 26:29
  But
• 26:30
  to
• 26:30
  me,
• 26:31
  what
• 26:31
  really
• 26:32
  solidifies
• 26:32
  my
• 26:33
  him
• 26:33
  as
• 26:33
  my
• 26:33
  second
• 26:34
  pick
• 26:34
  is
• 26:35
  I
• 26:36
  want
• 26:36
  to
• 26:36
  say
• 26:36
  it's
• 26:36
  Marvel
• 26:36
  2
• 26:36
  in
• 26:36
  one
• 26:37
  annual
• 26:37
  7.
• 26:38
  Maybe
• 26:38
  it
• 26:38
  was
• 26:38
  6.
• 26:39
  I'm
• 26:39
  always
• 26:39
  second
• 26:40
  guessing
• 26:40
  myself.
• 26:40
  You
• 26:40
  can't
• 26:41
  tell
• 26:41
  Jill
• 26:41
  never,
• 26:42
  never
• 26:42
  puts
• 26:42
  me
• 26:42
  on
• 26:42
  information.
• 26:45
  And
• 26:45
  it's
• 26:45
  a
• 26:45
  story
• 26:45
  where
• 26:46
  this
• 26:46
  one
• 26:46
  of
• 26:46
  the
• 26:47
  elders
• 26:47
  of
• 26:48
  the
• 26:48
  universe,
• 26:48
  the
• 26:49
  champion,
• 26:49
  comes
• 26:49
  down
• 26:49
  on
• 26:50
  Earth
• 26:50
  and
• 26:50
  says,
• 26:50
  look,
• 26:50
  I'm
• 26:50
  the
• 26:51
  strongest
• 26:51
  guy
• 26:51
  ever.
• 26:51
  Everyone
• 26:52
  fight
• 26:52
  me.
• 26:53
  And
• 26:53
  if
• 26:53
  you
• 26:53
  lose,
• 26:54
  bad
• 26:54
  things
• 26:54
  are
• 26:54
  going
• 26:54
  to
• 26:54
  happen.
• 26:55
  So,
• 26:55
  like,
• 26:55
  you
• 26:55
  know,
• 26:56
  Thor
• 26:56
  and
• 26:56
  Namor
• 26:57
  and
• 26:58
  the
• 26:58
  Hulk
• 26:59
  and
• 27:00
  Colossus
• 27:01
  and
• 27:01
  a
• 27:01
  couple
• 27:01
  other
• 27:01
  guys
• 27:02
  are
• 27:02
  brought
• 27:02
  up
• 27:02
  to
• 27:02
  go
• 27:03
  and
• 27:03
  fight
• 27:03
  the
• 27:03
  champion.
• 27:04
  They
• 27:04
  all
• 27:05
  fall
• 27:05
  down.
• 27:05
  But
• 27:05
  like,
• 27:06
  then
• 27:07
  Grimm
• 27:07
  gets
• 27:07
  beaten
• 27:07
  up
• 27:08
  and
• 27:08
  he
• 27:08
  keeps
• 27:08
  getting
• 27:08
  back
• 27:09
  up
• 27:09
  because
• 27:09
  he
• 27:10
  knows
• 27:10
  the
• 27:10
  consequences,
• 27:12
  you
• 27:12
  know,
• 27:12
  if
• 27:12
  he
• 27:13
  loses.
• 27:13
  So
• 27:14
  the
• 27:14
  champion's
• 27:14
  like,
• 27:14
  look,
• 27:15
  I
• 27:15
  can,
• 27:15
  like,
• 27:15
  kill
• 27:16
  you,
• 27:16
  but,
• 27:17
  like,
• 27:17
  I
• 27:17
  can't
• 27:17
  break
• 27:18
  your
• 27:18
  spirit.
• 27:18
  So,
• 27:19
  like,
• 27:19
  you
• 27:19
  win.
• 27:21
  And
• 27:21
  that
• 27:21
  to
• 27:21
  me
• 27:21
  is
• 27:22
  what
• 27:22
  a
• 27:22
  true
• 27:22
  hero
• 27:22
  is.
• 27:22
  Someone
• 27:23
  like,
• 27:23
  okay,
• 27:23
  against
• 27:24
  all
• 27:24
  odds,
• 27:24
  everything
• 27:25
  is
• 27:25
  going
• 27:25
  wrong.
• 27:26
  I'm
• 27:26
  going
• 27:26
  to
• 27:26
  stand
• 27:26
  up
• 27:27
  for
• 27:27
  what's
• 27:27
  right.
• 27:27
  I'm
• 27:27
  going
• 27:27
  to
• 27:28
  protect
• 27:28
  people,
• 27:28
  even
• 27:28
  if
• 27:28
  it
• 27:28
  means
• 27:29
  I
• 27:29
  die.
• 27:31
  What
• 27:32
  do
• 27:32
  you
• 27:32
  think
• 27:32
  of
• 27:32
  Ben
• 27:33
  Love.
• 27:33
  That
• 27:33
  I
• 27:33
  love
• 27:34
  Ben
• 27:34
  Grimm.
• 27:35
  And
• 27:35
  sort
• 27:36
  of
• 27:36
  the
• 27:36
  same
• 27:36
  thing,
• 27:36
  that
• 27:37
  this
• 27:37
  super
• 27:37
  handsome
• 27:38
  guy
• 27:38
  has
• 27:38
  it
• 27:38
  all
• 27:39
  taken
• 27:39
  away
• 27:39
  and
• 27:39
  then
• 27:39
  has
• 27:40
  to
• 27:40
  figure
• 27:40
  out,
• 27:40
  how
• 27:41
  do
• 27:41
  you
• 27:41
  still
• 27:41
  live
• 27:41
  in
• 27:41
  the
• 27:42
  world?
• 27:43
  Um,
• 27:43
  and
• 27:44
  I
• 27:44
  think
• 27:45
  for
• 27:45
  all
• 27:45
  of
• 27:45
  us,
• 27:45
  we
• 27:46
  have
• 27:46
  that.
• 27:47
  Like,
• 27:47
  listen,
• 27:48
  we
• 27:48
  live
• 27:48
  in
• 27:48
  a
• 27:48
  pretty
• 27:49
  shallow
• 27:49
  world
• 27:50
  and
• 27:51
  like,
• 27:51
  we
• 27:52
  are
• 27:52
  Also
• 27:52
  surrounded
• 27:53
  by
• 27:53
  messages
• 27:53
  all
• 27:53
  day
• 27:54
  long
• 27:54
  that
• 27:54
  tell
• 27:54
  us
• 27:54
  we
• 27:54
  should
• 27:55
  be
• 27:55
  like,
• 27:55
  prettier
• 27:56
  or
• 27:56
  more
• 27:56
  handsome
• 27:56
  or
• 27:57
  more
• 27:57
  thin
• 27:57
  or,
• 27:58
  you
• 27:58
  know,
• 27:58
  this.
• 27:59
  Your
• 27:59
  nose
• 27:59
  could
• 27:59
  look
• 27:59
  like
• 28:00
  this.
• 28:00
  Your
• 28:00
  cheekbones
• 28:00
  should
• 28:01
  look
• 28:01
  like
• 28:01
  this.
• 28:01
  And
• 28:02
  we
• 28:02
  had
• 28:02
  to
• 28:02
  like,
• 28:03
  figure
• 28:03
  out
• 28:03
  how
• 28:03
  do
• 28:04
  we
• 28:04
  set
• 28:04
  that
• 28:05
  aside
• 28:05
  and
• 28:05
  then
• 28:06
  do
• 28:06
  the
• 28:06
  work
• 28:06
  that
• 28:06
  is
• 28:07
  set
• 28:07
  before
• 28:07
  us
• 28:08
  to
• 28:08
  do
• 28:10
  so.
• 28:10
  I
• 28:10
  like
• 28:10
  the
• 28:11
  relatability
• 28:11
  and
• 28:12
  the.
• 28:13
  Just
• 28:14
  that,
• 28:14
  you
• 28:14
  know,
• 28:15
  we're
• 28:15
  all
• 28:16
  fighting
• 28:16
  that
• 28:17
  battle.
• 28:17
  We're
• 28:17
  all
• 28:17
  doing
• 28:17
  that
• 28:18
  thing.
• 28:18
  And
• 28:18
  he
• 28:19
  is
• 28:19
  just
• 28:19
  like
• 28:19
  the
• 28:19
  good
• 28:20
  guy
• 28:20
  of
• 28:20
  the
• 28:20
  Avengers.
• 28:21
  He's
• 28:21
  the
• 28:21
  most
• 28:21
  human.
• 28:22
  He's
• 28:22
  the
• 28:22
  most
• 28:23
  like,
• 28:23
  that's
• 28:23
  who
• 28:23
  I
• 28:24
  would
• 28:24
  want
• 28:24
  to
• 28:24
  hang
• 28:24
  out
• 28:24
  with.
• 28:26
  Not
• 28:26
  Avengers,
• 28:26
  of
• 28:27
  Fantastic
• 28:27
  Four.
• 28:27
  Well,
• 28:28
  he
• 28:28
  has
• 28:28
  been
• 28:28
  in
• 28:28
  the
• 28:28
  new
• 28:28
  Avengers,
• 28:29
  but
• 28:29
  yeah,
• 28:29
  Fantastic
• 28:30
  Four,
• 28:30
  primarily.
• 28:32
  Yeah.
• 28:32
  I
• 28:32
  do
• 28:32
  want
• 28:33
  to
• 28:33
  ask
• 28:33
  you,
• 28:34
  who's
• 28:34
  your
• 28:34
  favorite
• 28:35
  thing
• 28:35
  in
• 28:36
  the
• 28:37
  movies?
• 28:37
  Michael
• 28:38
  Chiklis.
• 28:38
  I
• 28:39
  mean,
• 28:39
  Chiklis,
• 28:39
  obviously.
• 28:40
  I
• 28:40
  mean,
• 28:41
  like,
• 28:41
  it's
• 28:41
  pretty
• 28:42
  much
• 28:42
  to
• 28:42
  me
• 28:42
  is
• 28:42
  like
• 28:42
  Ben
• 28:43
  Grimm
• 28:43
  brought
• 28:43
  on
• 28:43
  on
• 28:44
  the
• 28:44
  screen.
• 28:45
  I
• 28:45
  mean,
• 28:45
  those
• 28:45
  aren't
• 28:46
  perfect
• 28:46
  movies
• 28:46
  by
• 28:46
  any
• 28:46
  stretch
• 28:47
  of
• 28:47
  the
• 28:47
  imagination.
• 28:47
  No.
• 28:48
  But,
• 28:49
  you
• 28:49
  know,
• 28:49
  I
• 28:50
  think
• 28:50
  that
• 28:50
  was
• 28:50
  solid
• 28:51
  casting.
• 28:51
  Okay.
• 28:52
  I
• 28:52
  have
• 28:52
  no
• 28:53
  problems
• 28:53
  with
• 28:53
  the
• 28:53
  one
• 28:54
  I
• 28:54
  can't
• 28:54
  remember.
• 28:55
  I
• 28:55
  don't
• 28:55
  remember
• 28:55
  actors
• 28:56
  names
• 28:56
  or
• 28:56
  much
• 28:57
  of
• 28:57
  anything.
• 28:57
  Eddie
• 28:57
  from
• 28:58
  Stranger
• 28:58
  Things.
• 28:58
  That's
• 28:58
  how
• 28:59
  I
• 28:59
  know.
• 28:59
  Yeah,
• 29:00
  he.
• 29:01
  He
• 29:01
  did
• 29:01
  a
• 29:02
  solid
• 29:02
  job
• 29:02
  as
• 29:03
  the
• 29:03
  thing
• 29:03
  in
• 29:04
  the
• 29:04
  most
• 29:04
  recent
• 29:04
  one.
• 29:05
  He
• 29:06
  doesn't
• 29:06
  have
• 29:06
  that
• 29:06
  cantankerousness
• 29:08
  that
• 29:08
  you
• 29:08
  pointed
• 29:08
  out
• 29:09
  earlier.
• 29:10
  Like,
• 29:10
  he's
• 29:10
  a
• 29:10
  much
• 29:10
  softer
• 29:11
  thing.
• 29:12
  Yes.
• 29:13
  Well,
• 29:13
  it
• 29:13
  helps
• 29:14
  too.
• 29:14
  In
• 29:14
  that
• 29:14
  specific
• 29:15
  universe.
• 29:15
  They've
• 29:16
  been
• 29:16
  there
• 29:16
  for
• 29:16
  years,
• 29:17
  so
• 29:17
  off
• 29:18
  screen,
• 29:18
  he's
• 29:18
  probably
• 29:19
  had
• 29:19
  the
• 29:19
  time,
• 29:20
  you
• 29:20
  know,
• 29:20
  to
• 29:21
  adjust
• 29:21
  better.
• 29:22
  Like,
• 29:22
  he's
• 29:22
  still
• 29:22
  not
• 29:23
  looking
• 29:23
  like
• 29:24
  he
• 29:24
  does,
• 29:24
  but
• 29:25
  they've
• 29:25
  been
• 29:25
  there
• 29:25
  for
• 29:26
  like
• 29:26
  eight
• 29:26
  or
• 29:26
  so
• 29:27
  years,
• 29:27
  I
• 29:27
  think
• 29:27
  they
• 29:27
  say
• 29:27
  in
• 29:28
  the
• 29:28
  film.
• 29:29
  Yeah.
• 29:30
  So
• 29:30
  as
• 29:30
  far
• 29:30
  as,
• 29:30
  like,
• 29:31
  that
• 29:31
  makes
• 29:31
  sense.
• 29:31
  Yeah.
• 29:32
  Characteristics,
• 29:33
  emulator,
• 29:34
  emulate,
• 29:34
  like.
• 29:35
  Or
• 29:36
  excise.
• 29:37
  I
• 29:37
  mean,
• 29:37
  the
• 29:37
  tenacity
• 29:38
  and
• 29:39
  the.
• 29:40
  The
• 29:40
  genuineness
• 29:41
  of
• 29:42
  Ben
• 29:42
  Grimm
• 29:43
  is
• 29:43
  something
• 29:43
  like,
• 29:43
  yeah,
• 29:43
  I
• 29:44
  should
• 29:44
  have
• 29:44
  that
• 29:44
  more
• 29:44
  in
• 29:44
  my
• 29:45
  life.
• 29:45
  It's
• 29:45
  like,
• 29:45
  oh,
• 29:46
  like
• 29:46
  there's
• 29:46
  a
• 29:46
  problem
• 29:47
  ahead
• 29:47
  of
• 29:47
  me.
• 29:47
  Let
• 29:47
  me
• 29:48
  actually
• 29:48
  take
• 29:48
  care
• 29:48
  of
• 29:48
  that
• 29:48
  problem
• 29:49
  and
• 29:49
  say,
• 29:49
  I'll
• 29:50
  worry
• 29:50
  about
• 29:50
  that
• 29:50
  tomorrow.
• 29:51
  Or
• 29:52
  let
• 29:52
  me
• 29:52
  let
• 29:52
  someone
• 29:53
  else
• 29:53
  do
• 29:53
  it.
• 29:53
  Like,
• 29:53
  no,
• 29:53
  no,
• 29:54
  no.
• 29:54
  Sometimes
• 29:54
  you
• 29:54
  got
• 29:54
  to
• 29:55
  be
• 29:55
  the
• 29:55
  one
• 29:55
  to
• 29:55
  step
• 29:55
  up,
• 29:56
  take
• 29:56
  it
• 29:56
  in
• 29:57
  the
• 29:57
  face.
• 29:57
  No
• 29:57
  matter
• 29:58
  how
• 29:58
  many
• 29:58
  punches
• 29:58
  get
• 29:59
  in,
• 29:59
  like,
• 29:59
  no
• 30:00
  matter
• 30:00
  how
• 30:00
  many
• 30:00
  Muhammad
• 30:01
  Ali's
• 30:01
  are
• 30:01
  in
• 30:01
  your
• 30:01
  way,
• 30:02
  you
• 30:02
  got
• 30:03
  to
• 30:03
  take
• 30:03
  the
• 30:03
  punches.
• 30:04
  And
• 30:05
  Ben
• 30:05
  will
• 30:05
  do
• 30:05
  that
• 30:06
  more
• 30:06
  often
• 30:06
  than
• 30:06
  not.
• 30:07
  He's
• 30:07
  so
• 30:07
  loyal.
• 30:08
  Like
• 30:08
  his
• 30:09
  love
• 30:09
  for
• 30:09
  his
• 30:10
  family
• 30:11
  and
• 30:11
  what
• 30:12
  I
• 30:12
  really
• 30:12
  do
• 30:12
  appreciate
• 30:13
  in
• 30:13
  most
• 30:13
  recent
• 30:13
  years
• 30:14
  now,
• 30:14
  one
• 30:14
  of
• 30:14
  the
• 30:14
  few
• 30:14
  things
• 30:14
  I
• 30:15
  think
• 30:15
  Slot
• 30:15
  did
• 30:15
  good
• 30:16
  in
• 30:16
  his
• 30:16
  Fantastic
• 30:16
  Four
• 30:17
  run,
• 30:17
  was
• 30:17
  actually
• 30:17
  marrying
• 30:18
  him
• 30:18
  to
• 30:18
  Alicia
• 30:19
  Masters
• 30:19
  after
• 30:19
  so
• 30:20
  many
• 30:20
  years
• 30:20
  of
• 30:20
  will
• 30:20
  they
• 30:21
  won't
• 30:21
  they.
• 30:22
  And
• 30:22
  they've
• 30:22
  been
• 30:22
  a
• 30:22
  solid
• 30:23
  pair
• 30:23
  together
• 30:23
  because
• 30:23
  they
• 30:24
  play
• 30:24
  off
• 30:24
  of
• 30:24
  each
• 30:24
  other
• 30:25
  extremely
• 30:25
  well.
• 30:27
  So
• 30:27
  I.
• 30:28
  The
• 30:28
  loyalty
• 30:28
  to
• 30:28
  his
• 30:28
  wife,
• 30:29
  to
• 30:29
  the
• 30:30
  Kree
• 30:30
  and
• 30:30
  Skrull
• 30:31
  kids
• 30:31
  that
• 30:31
  they
• 30:31
  adopted
• 30:31
  in
• 30:32
  that
• 30:32
  run
• 30:32
  too,
• 30:32
  that
• 30:33
  they're
• 30:33
  still
• 30:33
  within
• 30:33
  Ryan
• 30:34
  North's
• 30:34
  run
• 30:34
  right
• 30:34
  now.
• 30:36
  That's
• 30:36
  a
• 30:36
  great
• 30:37
  way
• 30:37
  because
• 30:37
  Ben
• 30:37
  would
• 30:37
  always
• 30:38
  be
• 30:38
  a
• 30:38
  great
• 30:38
  families
• 30:38
  man.
• 30:39
  You
• 30:39
  always
• 30:39
  knew
• 30:39
  he
• 30:39
  would
• 30:40
  have
• 30:40
  been.
• 30:40
  But
• 30:40
  like
• 30:40
  actually
• 30:40
  seeing
• 30:41
  it
• 30:41
  in
• 30:41
  action,
• 30:41
  that's
• 30:42
  great.
• 30:43
  Now,
• 30:43
  as
• 30:43
  far
• 30:43
  as,
• 30:43
  like,
• 30:44
  things
• 30:44
  to
• 30:44
  excise.
• 30:45
  Yeah.
• 30:46
  You
• 30:46
  know,
• 30:46
  we
• 30:46
  all
• 30:46
  have
• 30:47
  self
• 30:47
  loathing
• 30:49
  at
• 30:49
  some
• 30:49
  point
• 30:49
  in
• 30:49
  time.
• 30:50
  And
• 30:50
  you
• 30:50
  know
• 30:50
  what?
• 30:50
  There
• 30:51
  are
• 30:51
  times
• 30:51
  when
• 30:51
  it's
• 30:52
  justified
• 30:52
  and
• 30:53
  that,
• 30:53
  oh,
• 30:53
  I
• 30:53
  did
• 30:53
  that
• 30:53
  thing.
• 30:54
  I
• 30:54
  shouldn't
• 30:54
  be
• 30:54
  happy
• 30:54
  about
• 30:54
  that
• 30:55
  thing.
• 30:55
  I
• 30:55
  should
• 30:55
  be
• 30:55
  grieving
• 30:56
  that
• 30:56
  I
• 30:56
  did
• 30:56
  that.
• 30:57
  But
• 30:57
  there
• 30:57
  are
• 30:58
  times
• 30:58
  under
• 30:58
  very
• 30:58
  poor
• 30:59
  writers
• 30:59
  most
• 31:00
  of
• 31:00
  the
• 31:00
  time
• 31:00
  where
• 31:01
  that's
• 31:01
  all
• 31:01
  he'll
• 31:01
  be
• 31:01
  about,
• 31:03
  which
• 31:04
  you
• 31:04
  would
• 31:04
  think.
• 31:04
  He
• 31:04
  has
• 31:05
  a
• 31:05
  very
• 31:05
  legitimate
• 31:05
  reason
• 31:06
  to
• 31:06
  be
• 31:07
  self
• 31:07
  loathing
• 31:07
  because
• 31:07
  he
• 31:08
  does
• 31:08
  not
• 31:08
  look
• 31:08
  like
• 31:08
  everyone
• 31:09
  else
• 31:09
  anymore.
• 31:09
  He
• 31:09
  is
• 31:10
  this
• 31:10
  giant,
• 31:10
  hulking,
• 31:11
  literal
• 31:11
  thing
• 31:13
  that
• 31:14
  when
• 31:14
  he's
• 31:14
  comparing
• 31:15
  and
• 31:15
  contrasting
• 31:15
  himself
• 31:15
  to
• 31:16
  other
• 31:16
  people,
• 31:16
  it's
• 31:16
  like
• 31:16
  they
• 31:16
  have
• 31:17
  this.
• 31:17
  I
• 31:17
  don't
• 31:17
  have
• 31:17
  that.
• 31:18
  And
• 31:18
  that
• 31:19
  cliche
• 31:19
  saying
• 31:20
  it's
• 31:20
  a
• 31:20
  cliche
• 31:20
  for
• 31:20
  a
• 31:20
  reason.
• 31:21
  It's
• 31:21
  like
• 31:21
  comparison
• 31:22
  is
• 31:22
  a
• 31:22
  thief
• 31:22
  of
• 31:22
  joy.
• 31:23
  And
• 31:23
  that's
• 31:24
  something
• 31:24
  that
• 31:24
  we
• 31:24
  should
• 31:24
  excise
• 31:25
  from
• 31:25
  ourselves
• 31:26
  too.
• 31:26
  That
• 31:26
  under
• 31:27
  better
• 31:27
  writers,
• 31:28
  he
• 31:28
  does
• 31:28
  like,
• 31:29
  hey,
• 31:29
  this
• 31:29
  is
• 31:29
  who
• 31:30
  I
• 31:30
  am.
• 31:30
  Yeah.
• 31:31
  I
• 31:31
  would
• 31:31
  like
• 31:31
  to
• 31:31
  be
• 31:31
  human
• 31:32
  again.
• 31:32
  But
• 31:32
  you
• 31:32
  know
• 31:32
  what?
• 31:33
  I'm
• 31:33
  the
• 31:33
  thing.
• 31:34
  I'm
• 31:34
  in
• 31:34
  a
• 31:34
  Fantastic
• 31:35
  Four.
• 31:35
  I'm
• 31:35
  pretty
• 31:36
  cool.
• 31:38
  Yeah.
• 31:38
  I
• 31:38
  love
• 31:38
  it.
• 31:39
  I
• 31:39
  love
• 31:39
  that
• 31:39
  you
• 31:39
  said
• 31:39
  tenacity.
• 31:40
  When
• 31:40
  I
• 31:40
  was
• 31:40
  like
• 31:41
  taking
• 31:41
  notes
• 31:41
  as
• 31:41
  you
• 31:41
  were
• 31:42
  talking.
• 31:42
  That
• 31:42
  was
• 31:42
  the
• 31:42
  thing
• 31:42
  I
• 31:42
  wrote
• 31:43
  down
• 31:43
  was
• 31:43
  tenacity.
• 31:45
  And
• 31:46
  as
• 31:46
  you're
• 31:46
  describing
• 31:47
  him
• 31:47
  in
• 31:48
  that
• 31:48
  particular
• 31:48
  fight,
• 31:49
  I
• 31:49
  was
• 31:49
  thinking
• 31:49
  of
• 31:50
  Captain
• 31:50
  America
• 31:50
  who's
• 31:51
  like,
• 31:51
  I
• 31:51
  could
• 31:51
  do
• 31:52
  this
• 31:52
  all
• 31:52
  day.
• 31:53
  Yeah.
• 31:53
  But
• 31:54
  I
• 31:54
  appreciate
• 31:55
  it
• 31:55
  more
• 31:55
  in
• 31:56
  a
• 31:56
  character
• 31:56
  like
• 31:56
  the
• 31:57
  Thing
• 31:57
  because
• 31:57
  he's
• 31:57
  not
• 31:57
  perfect.
• 31:59
  Like,
• 31:59
  I
• 31:59
  actually
• 31:59
  really
• 32:00
  don't
• 32:00
  like
• 32:00
  Captain
• 32:00
  America.
• 32:01
  The
• 32:01
  more
• 32:01
  that
• 32:01
  we
• 32:01
  get
• 32:01
  to
• 32:02
  do
• 32:02
  recordings
• 32:02
  together,
• 32:03
  you'll
• 32:03
  see.
• 32:03
  But
• 32:05
  when
• 32:05
  Tony
• 32:05
  Stark
• 32:06
  is
• 32:06
  like,
• 32:06
  I
• 32:06
  just
• 32:06
  want
• 32:06
  to
• 32:06
  punch
• 32:07
  you
• 32:07
  and
• 32:07
  your
• 32:07
  perfect
• 32:08
  teeth,
• 32:08
  that's
• 32:08
  how
• 32:09
  I
• 32:09
  feel.
• 32:11
  Fair
• 32:12
  enough.
• 32:12
  Maybe
• 32:13
  we
• 32:13
  should
• 32:13
  do
• 32:13
  our
• 32:14
  least
• 32:14
  favorites
• 32:14
  later
• 32:15
  on
• 32:15
  and,
• 32:15
  like,
• 32:15
  make
• 32:16
  everyone
• 32:16
  angry
• 32:16
  at
• 32:16
  us.
• 32:17
  Yeah.
• 32:17
  Joshua
• 32:18
  especially.
• 32:20
  But
• 32:21
  I
• 32:22
  do
• 32:22
  appreciate
• 32:23
  that
• 32:23
  tenacity
• 32:24
  and
• 32:24
  that
• 32:24
  is
• 32:24
  something
• 32:24
  to
• 32:24
  emulate
• 32:25
  in
• 32:25
  that
• 32:25
  character.
• 32:26
  Yeah.
• 32:27
  All
• 32:27
  right.
• 32:28
  Well,
• 32:28
  those
• 32:29
  are
• 32:29
  our
• 32:29
  number
• 32:29
  two
• 32:29
  picks.
• 32:30
  Jill,
• 32:30
  why
• 32:30
  don't
• 32:31
  you
• 32:31
  go
• 32:31
  ahead
• 32:31
  and
• 32:31
  wow
• 32:31
  us
• 32:32
  with
• 32:32
  your
• 32:32
  number
• 32:32
  one
• 32:33
  pick,
• 32:33
  your
• 32:33
  personal
• 32:34
  iconic
• 32:34
  Marvel
• 32:35
  character.
• 32:36
  Drum
• 32:36
  roll.
• 32:37
  This
• 32:37
  is
• 32:38
  not
• 32:38
  going
• 32:38
  to
• 32:38
  be
• 32:39
  a
• 32:39
  surprise.
• 32:39
  I
• 32:39
  didn't
• 32:40
  go
• 32:40
  super
• 32:40
  out
• 32:41
  on
• 32:41
  a
• 32:41
  limb,
• 32:41
  but
• 32:42
  it's
• 32:42
  Spider
• 32:43
  Man.
• 32:43
  I
• 32:44
  mean,
• 32:44
  what
• 32:45
  is
• 32:45
  more
• 32:46
  iconic
• 32:46
  to
• 32:47
  Marvel
• 32:47
  than
• 32:47
  Spider
• 32:48
  Man?
• 32:49
  And
• 32:49
  for
• 32:49
  me
• 32:50
  personally
• 32:51
  and
• 32:51
  as
• 32:52
  like,
• 32:52
  a
• 32:52
  culture.
• 32:53
  So
• 32:53
  I
• 32:54
  shared
• 32:54
  earlier,
• 32:54
  the
• 32:55
  reason
• 32:55
  I
• 32:55
  got
• 32:55
  into
• 32:56
  Marvel
• 32:56
  Comics
• 32:57
  is
• 32:57
  because
• 32:57
  of
• 32:57
  my
• 32:58
  son.
• 32:59
  And
• 32:59
  when
• 32:59
  he
• 33:00
  was
• 33:00
  4
• 33:00
  years
• 33:00
  old,
• 33:01
  starting
• 33:01
  at
• 33:02
  4,
• 33:02
  he
• 33:02
  had
• 33:02
  a
• 33:02
  Spider
• 33:03
  man
• 33:03
  costume
• 33:04
  he
• 33:04
  got
• 33:04
  for
• 33:04
  Christmas.
• 33:06
  That
• 33:06
  kid
• 33:07
  wore
• 33:07
  that
• 33:07
  costume
• 33:08
  every
• 33:08
  day.
• 33:08
  I
• 33:08
  am
• 33:09
  not
• 33:09
  joking.
• 33:11
  I'm
• 33:11
  laughing
• 33:11
  right
• 33:11
  now
• 33:11
  because
• 33:12
  some
• 33:12
  of
• 33:12
  the
• 33:12
  kids
• 33:12
  my
• 33:12
  mom
• 33:13
  watches,
• 33:13
  they
• 33:13
  do
• 33:13
  the
• 33:14
  exact
• 33:14
  same
• 33:14
  thing.
• 33:14
  They've
• 33:14
  got
• 33:15
  a
• 33:15
  regular
• 33:15
  Spider
• 33:16
  Man,
• 33:16
  a
• 33:16
  Miles,
• 33:16
  a
• 33:17
  Batman,
• 33:17
  and
• 33:17
  they
• 33:17
  wear
• 33:18
  those
• 33:18
  suckers
• 33:18
  out.
• 33:19
  Oh,
• 33:20
  my
• 33:20
  gosh,
• 33:20
  Wear
• 33:20
  them
• 33:21
  out.
• 33:21
  And
• 33:22
  there's
• 33:22
  like,
• 33:22
  you
• 33:22
  know,
• 33:23
  every
• 33:23
  story
• 33:23
  has,
• 33:23
  like,
• 33:23
  these
• 33:24
  family
• 33:24
  lore
• 33:24
  stories
• 33:25
  that
• 33:25
  you
• 33:25
  tell
• 33:25
  when
• 33:25
  you
• 33:25
  get
• 33:26
  together.
• 33:26
  My
• 33:27
  dad
• 33:27
  always
• 33:27
  tells
• 33:28
  this
• 33:28
  story
• 33:28
  of
• 33:28
  he
• 33:29
  came
• 33:29
  to
• 33:29
  pick
• 33:29
  Jack
• 33:30
  up
• 33:30
  to
• 33:30
  take
• 33:30
  him
• 33:30
  to
• 33:30
  Dairy
• 33:31
  Queen,
• 33:31
  and
• 33:32
  Jack
• 33:32
  was
• 33:32
  like,
• 33:32
  oh,
• 33:32
  wait,
• 33:33
  hold
• 33:33
  on
• 33:33
  a
• 33:33
  second.
• 33:33
  Grandpa
• 33:34
  ran
• 33:35
  upstairs,
• 33:35
  put
• 33:35
  his
• 33:36
  Spider
• 33:36
  man
• 33:36
  costume
• 33:37
  on,
• 33:37
  then
• 33:37
  put
• 33:37
  his
• 33:38
  other
• 33:38
  clothes
• 33:38
  on
• 33:38
  top
• 33:40
  and.
• 33:40
  And
• 33:40
  came
• 33:41
  downstairs
• 33:41
  to
• 33:41
  go
• 33:41
  to
• 33:41
  Dairy
• 33:42
  Queen.
• 33:42
  Because
• 33:43
  you
• 33:43
  never
• 33:43
  know
• 33:45
  if
• 33:46
  you
• 33:46
  might
• 33:46
  need
• 33:46
  to
• 33:46
  be
• 33:47
  the
• 33:47
  Spider
• 33:47
  Man.
• 33:48
  Yeah,
• 33:48
  I
• 33:49
  mean,
• 33:49
  it's
• 33:49
  very
• 33:49
  Peter
• 33:49
  Parker
• 33:50
  of,
• 33:50
  like,
• 33:50
  always
• 33:50
  wearing
• 33:50
  the
• 33:51
  costume
• 33:51
  underneath
• 33:51
  the
• 33:51
  clothing.
• 33:52
  Yes.
• 33:53
  Very
• 33:53
  Peter
• 33:53
  Parker.
• 33:55
  And
• 33:55
  so
• 33:55
  I
• 33:55
  love
• 33:56
  the
• 33:56
  character
• 33:56
  of
• 33:56
  Spider
• 33:56
  man,
• 33:57
  first
• 33:57
  of
• 33:57
  all,
• 33:57
  because
• 33:57
  he's
• 33:58
  a
• 33:58
  kid,
• 33:58
  like,
• 33:58
  he's
• 33:59
  a
• 33:59
  teen.
• 34:00
  He's
• 34:00
  like,
• 34:00
  you
• 34:01
  know,
• 34:01
  the
• 34:01
  Timothy
• 34:02
  of
• 34:02
  the
• 34:02
  Marvel
• 34:03
  Universe.
• 34:03
  I
• 34:03
  just.
• 34:05
  I
• 34:05
  love
• 34:06
  that
• 34:06
  Stan
• 34:06
  Lee
• 34:06
  made
• 34:07
  him
• 34:07
  a
• 34:07
  teenager.
• 34:07
  He's
• 34:08
  so,
• 34:08
  like,
• 34:09
  unassuming.
• 34:09
  He
• 34:10
  is
• 34:10
  bogged
• 34:10
  down
• 34:10
  by
• 34:11
  all
• 34:11
  the
• 34:11
  things
• 34:11
  that
• 34:11
  regular
• 34:12
  teenagers
• 34:12
  are
• 34:13
  bogged
• 34:13
  down
• 34:13
  by,
• 34:13
  like,
• 34:14
  not
• 34:14
  getting
• 34:14
  his
• 34:14
  homework
• 34:15
  done,
• 34:15
  disappointing
• 34:16
  his
• 34:16
  aunt,
• 34:17
  always
• 34:17
  being
• 34:17
  late
• 34:18
  to
• 34:18
  things,
• 34:19
  just
• 34:19
  dealing
• 34:20
  with,
• 34:20
  like,
• 34:20
  everyday
• 34:21
  stuff,
• 34:21
  but
• 34:21
  has
• 34:22
  to
• 34:22
  find
• 34:22
  it
• 34:22
  in
• 34:22
  himself
• 34:23
  to
• 34:23
  be
• 34:23
  the
• 34:23
  hero.
• 34:24
  I
• 34:24
  love
• 34:25
  also
• 34:25
  that
• 34:25
  he's
• 34:26
  hyper
• 34:26
  local.
• 34:27
  He
• 34:27
  is
• 34:27
  your
• 34:28
  neighborhood
• 34:28
  Spider
• 34:29
  Man.
• 34:29
  Yes.
• 34:30
  And
• 34:30
  his
• 34:31
  job
• 34:31
  is
• 34:31
  to
• 34:31
  protect
• 34:32
  queens.
• 34:33
  Like,
• 34:33
  you
• 34:33
  know,
• 34:34
  and.
• 34:34
  And
• 34:35
  then,
• 34:35
  of
• 34:35
  course,
• 34:35
  later
• 34:35
  on,
• 34:36
  he,
• 34:36
  like,
• 34:37
  expands
• 34:37
  that
• 34:37
  and
• 34:37
  he
• 34:37
  becomes
• 34:38
  the
• 34:38
  Avengers
• 34:38
  and
• 34:38
  he's
• 34:39
  protecting
• 34:39
  the
• 34:39
  world,
• 34:39
  but
• 34:40
  ultimately,
• 34:41
  he
• 34:41
  is
• 34:41
  about
• 34:41
  personal
• 34:42
  responsibility
• 34:43
  to
• 34:43
  the
• 34:43
  people
• 34:43
  in
• 34:44
  your
• 34:44
  circle.
• 34:45
  And
• 34:45
  I
• 34:45
  think
• 34:45
  that
• 34:46
  is
• 34:46
  something
• 34:46
  we
• 34:46
  need
• 34:46
  to
• 34:47
  emulate.
• 34:47
  And
• 34:47
  I
• 34:47
  think
• 34:47
  when
• 34:48
  we
• 34:48
  do
• 34:48
  that
• 34:48
  really
• 34:48
  well,
• 34:49
  then
• 34:49
  the
• 34:49
  natural
• 34:50
  extension
• 34:50
  is
• 34:51
  to,
• 34:51
  now
• 34:51
  we're
• 34:52
  going
• 34:52
  to
• 34:52
  take
• 34:52
  care
• 34:52
  of
• 34:52
  people,
• 34:53
  make
• 34:53
  our
• 34:53
  circles
• 34:54
  a
• 34:54
  little
• 34:54
  bit
• 34:54
  bigger.
• 34:54
  A
• 34:54
  little
• 34:54
  bit
• 34:55
  bigger.
• 34:55
  A
• 34:55
  little
• 34:55
  bit
• 34:55
  bigger.
• 34:58
  You
• 34:58
  know,
• 34:58
  he
• 34:59
  is
• 34:59
  bogged
• 35:00
  down
• 35:00
  by
• 35:00
  guilt
• 35:01
  and
• 35:01
  shame,
• 35:04
  like
• 35:04
  we
• 35:04
  are.
• 35:05
  And
• 35:06
  he.
• 35:07
  Yeah,
• 35:07
  who.
• 35:07
  Who
• 35:08
  among
• 35:08
  us
• 35:08
  is
• 35:08
  not?
• 35:08
  And
• 35:09
  he
• 35:10
  is
• 35:10
  able
• 35:10
  to
• 35:11
  still
• 35:11
  do
• 35:11
  the
• 35:11
  mission
• 35:12
  in
• 35:12
  front
• 35:12
  of
• 35:12
  him.
• 35:13
  Of
• 35:14
  course.
• 35:14
  Like
• 35:14
  the
• 35:14
  most
• 35:15
  iconic
• 35:15
  Marvel
• 35:16
  line
• 35:16
  ever
• 35:16
  is
• 35:17
  with
• 35:17
  great
• 35:17
  power
• 35:17
  comes
• 35:18
  great
• 35:18
  responsibility.
• 35:19
  Absolutely.
• 35:20
  And
• 35:21
  he
• 35:21
  does
• 35:21
  it.
• 35:21
  And
• 35:22
  we
• 35:22
  get
• 35:22
  to
• 35:22
  watch
• 35:22
  it
• 35:22
  and
• 35:22
  we
• 35:23
  get
• 35:23
  to
• 35:23
  watch
• 35:23
  it
• 35:23
  as
• 35:23
  like
• 35:24
  this
• 35:24
  young
• 35:24
  kid.
• 35:26
  Yeah,
• 35:27
  he's,
• 35:27
  he's
• 35:28
  the
• 35:28
  guy.
• 35:28
  To
• 35:29
  me,
• 35:29
  when
• 35:29
  I
• 35:29
  think
• 35:30
  Marvel,
• 35:30
  I
• 35:30
  think
• 35:30
  Spider
• 35:31
  man.
• 35:31
  And
• 35:31
  of
• 35:31
  course
• 35:32
  Stan
• 35:32
  Lee
• 35:32
  created
• 35:33
  him,
• 35:33
  so
• 35:33
  all
• 35:34
  the
• 35:34
  more
• 35:34
  perfect.
• 35:35
  I
• 35:36
  also
• 35:36
  really
• 35:36
  love
• 35:37
  and
• 35:37
  I
• 35:37
  think
• 35:37
  this
• 35:37
  is
• 35:38
  what
• 35:38
  makes
• 35:38
  him
• 35:38
  so
• 35:38
  iconic.
• 35:39
  Oh,
• 35:40
  I
• 35:40
  do
• 35:40
  love
• 35:40
  Miles
• 35:41
  Morales.
• 35:41
  Spider
• 35:42
  man
• 35:42
  too.
• 35:43
  Like,
• 35:43
  well,
• 35:43
  and
• 35:44
  different
• 35:44
  roles
• 35:45
  though.
• 35:45
  Spider
• 35:45
  Girl.
• 35:46
  Yeah,
• 35:46
  different
• 35:46
  roles.
• 35:47
  Yeah.
• 35:47
  But
• 35:47
  they
• 35:47
  do
• 35:47
  they
• 35:48
  still
• 35:48
  embody
• 35:49
  that
• 35:49
  like
• 35:50
  humanness?
• 35:51
  Yes,
• 35:51
  very
• 35:52
  much.
• 35:52
  And
• 35:52
  have
• 35:52
  to
• 35:52
  like
• 35:53
  overcome
• 35:53
  yourself
• 35:54
  to,
• 35:54
  to
• 35:54
  do
• 35:55
  great
• 35:55
  things.
• 35:56
  But
• 35:56
  I
• 35:57
  love
• 35:57
  that
• 35:57
  Stan
• 35:58
  Lee
• 35:58
  has
• 35:58
  said
• 35:59
  he
• 35:59
  created
• 36:00
  the
• 36:00
  character
• 36:00
  of
• 36:00
  Spider
• 36:01
  man
• 36:01
  and
• 36:01
  very
• 36:01
  intentionally
• 36:02
  covered
• 36:02
  up
• 36:03
  every
• 36:03
  single
• 36:03
  part
• 36:03
  of
• 36:03
  his
• 36:04
  body
• 36:05
  so
• 36:05
  that
• 36:05
  every
• 36:06
  kid
• 36:06
  in
• 36:06
  Queens
• 36:07
  could
• 36:07
  imagine
• 36:08
  that
• 36:08
  they
• 36:08
  could
• 36:08
  be
• 36:08
  Spider
• 36:09
  Man.
• 36:10
  You
• 36:10
  know,
• 36:11
  Stan's
• 36:11
  not
• 36:11
  a
• 36:11
  perfect
• 36:11
  man
• 36:12
  by
• 36:12
  any
• 36:12
  stretch
• 36:12
  of
• 36:12
  the
• 36:12
  imagination.
• 36:14
  No,
• 36:14
  sir.
• 36:15
  But
• 36:16
  you
• 36:16
  know
• 36:16
  what,
• 36:16
  it's
• 36:16
  things
• 36:17
  like
• 36:17
  that
• 36:17
  go
• 36:17
  okay.
• 36:18
  Thank
• 36:19
  you,
• 36:19
  sir.
• 36:20
  Yeah.
• 36:21
  Especially
• 36:21
  in
• 36:21
  the
• 36:22
  1960s.
• 36:23
  Yeah.
• 36:24
  Pretty
• 36:25
  much
• 36:25
  every
• 36:25
  kid
• 36:25
  who's
• 36:25
  watched
• 36:26
  Spider
• 36:26
  man
• 36:26
  has
• 36:26
  thought
• 36:27
  it's
• 36:27
  me
• 36:27
  under
• 36:27
  that
• 36:28
  mask.
• 36:28
  I'm
• 36:29
  the
• 36:29
  one
• 36:29
  swinging
• 36:29
  around.
• 36:30
  I'm
• 36:30
  the
• 36:30
  one
• 36:31
  having
• 36:31
  these
• 36:31
  adventures.
• 36:32
  And
• 36:32
  you
• 36:32
  can
• 36:33
  do
• 36:33
  that
• 36:33
  with
• 36:33
  someone.
• 36:33
  Yeah,
• 36:34
  we
• 36:34
  know
• 36:34
  who
• 36:34
  Peter
• 36:34
  Parker
• 36:35
  actually,
• 36:35
  what
• 36:35
  he
• 36:35
  actually
• 36:36
  looks
• 36:36
  like
• 36:36
  because
• 36:37
  he
• 36:37
  does
• 36:37
  take
• 36:37
  the
• 36:37
  mask
• 36:38
  off.
• 36:38
  But
• 36:38
  like
• 36:38
  when
• 36:38
  he's
• 36:38
  actually
• 36:38
  swinging
• 36:39
  around,
• 36:39
  like
• 36:39
  it
• 36:39
  could
• 36:40
  be
• 36:40
  me
• 36:40
  up
• 36:40
  there.
• 36:40
  It
• 36:40
  could
• 36:40
  be
• 36:41
  up
• 36:41
  there.
• 36:42
  Yep,
• 36:43
  yep.
• 36:43
  It's
• 36:44
  so
• 36:44
  cool.
• 36:45
  One
• 36:45
  other
• 36:46
  thing
• 36:46
  about
• 36:46
  like
• 36:47
  the
• 36:47
  reason
• 36:47
  I
• 36:47
  love
• 36:48
  him
• 36:48
  is
• 36:48
  because
• 36:48
  I
• 36:48
  love
• 36:48
  my
• 36:49
  son
• 36:49
  so
• 36:49
  much.
• 36:50
  When
• 36:50
  he,
• 36:52
  when
• 36:52
  my
• 36:52
  kids
• 36:52
  turn
• 36:52
  10,
• 36:53
  they
• 36:53
  get
• 36:53
  a
• 36:53
  trip
• 36:54
  to
• 36:54
  New
• 36:54
  York
• 36:54
  City.
• 36:54
  They
• 36:55
  have
• 36:55
  uncles
• 36:55
  that
• 36:55
  live
• 36:56
  in
• 36:56
  New
• 36:56
  York.
• 36:57
  And
• 36:57
  I
• 36:58
  didn't
• 36:58
  go
• 36:58
  with
• 36:58
  Jack
• 36:59
  when
• 36:59
  he
• 36:59
  was
• 36:59
  10,
• 37:00
  but
• 37:00
  my
• 37:01
  brother
• 37:01
  in
• 37:01
  law
• 37:01
  said
• 37:02
  Jack
• 37:02
  kept
• 37:03
  looking
• 37:03
  up
• 37:03
  at
• 37:03
  the
• 37:03
  sky.
• 37:04
  He
• 37:04
  was
• 37:04
  like
• 37:04
  bumping
• 37:05
  into
• 37:05
  people.
• 37:05
  Cuz
• 37:06
  he
• 37:06
  was
• 37:06
  always
• 37:06
  looking
• 37:07
  up.
• 37:07
  And
• 37:07
  at
• 37:08
  some
• 37:08
  point,
• 37:08
  like
• 37:08
  day
• 37:09
  two,
• 37:09
  the
• 37:10
  guys
• 37:10
  were
• 37:10
  like,
• 37:10
  jack,
• 37:11
  pay
• 37:11
  attention.
• 37:11
  What
• 37:11
  are
• 37:12
  you
• 37:12
  doing?
• 37:12
  And
• 37:12
  he's
• 37:12
  like,
• 37:12
  well,
• 37:13
  I'm
• 37:13
  just
• 37:13
  seeing
• 37:13
  like
• 37:13
  you
• 37:14
  never
• 37:14
  know,
• 37:14
  we
• 37:14
  might
• 37:14
  see
• 37:14
  Spider
• 37:15
  Man.
• 37:17
  Oh,
• 37:17
  that
• 37:18
  pure.
• 37:18
  Being
• 37:19
  a
• 37:19
  child.
• 37:20
  It's
• 37:20
  a
• 37:20
  Santa
• 37:21
  Claus.
• 37:22
  I
• 37:22
  just
• 37:22
  love
• 37:23
  it.
• 37:23
  But
• 37:23
  like
• 37:23
  the
• 37:24
  power
• 37:24
  of
• 37:24
  a
• 37:24
  character
• 37:25
  to
• 37:25
  make
• 37:25
  someone
• 37:25
  believe
• 37:26
  that
• 37:26
  much.
• 37:26
  Even
• 37:26
  when
• 37:27
  he'd
• 37:27
  seen
• 37:27
  movies
• 37:27
  and
• 37:27
  he
• 37:28
  knows
• 37:28
  their
• 37:28
  movies.
• 37:29
  Like
• 37:29
  that's
• 37:30
  icon.
• 37:31
  Yeah,
• 37:32
  that's
• 37:32
  perfect.
• 37:33
  Okay.
• 37:34
  Yeah.
• 37:34
  To
• 37:34
  no
• 37:34
  one's
• 37:35
  surprise,
• 37:35
  this
• 37:35
  is
• 37:35
  also
• 37:36
  my
• 37:36
  number
• 37:36
  one.
• 37:37
  There's
• 37:37
  a
• 37:38
  reason
• 37:38
  he's
• 37:38
  my
• 37:38
  avatar
• 37:39
  on
• 37:39
  the
• 37:39
  show.
• 37:40
  I
• 37:41
  was
• 37:41
  raised
• 37:41
  Spider
• 37:42
  Man.
• 37:42
  I
• 37:42
  bleed
• 37:43
  Spider
• 37:43
  Man.
• 37:44
  I
• 37:44
  Haven't
• 37:44
  read
• 37:44
  everything.
• 37:45
  I'm
• 37:45
  working
• 37:45
  on
• 37:45
  it.
• 37:46
  But
• 37:46
  you
• 37:46
  know
• 37:46
  what?
• 37:47
  Peter
• 37:47
  Parker
• 37:47
  is
• 37:48
  my
• 37:48
  guy.
• 37:48
  Yeah.
• 37:50
  You
• 37:50
  know,
• 37:51
  I
• 37:51
  wasn't
• 37:51
  the
• 37:51
  best
• 37:52
  growing
• 37:52
  up.
• 37:52
  I
• 37:52
  wasn't
• 37:53
  like
• 37:53
  bullied
• 37:53
  or
• 37:53
  anything
• 37:54
  like
• 37:54
  that
• 37:54
  growing
• 37:54
  up.
• 37:55
  I
• 37:55
  had
• 37:55
  plenty
• 37:56
  of
• 37:56
  friends.
• 37:56
  I'm
• 37:56
  not
• 37:56
  trying
• 37:56
  to
• 37:57
  say
• 37:57
  that
• 37:57
  aspect,
• 37:57
  but,
• 37:58
  like,
• 37:58
  we've
• 37:58
  all
• 37:58
  been
• 37:59
  awkward.
• 37:59
  We've
• 38:00
  all
• 38:00
  had
• 38:00
  that
• 38:00
  moment
• 38:01
  of,
• 38:01
  oh,
• 38:02
  I
• 38:02
  feel
• 38:02
  like
• 38:02
  this,
• 38:02
  or
• 38:02
  I
• 38:03
  have
• 38:03
  glasses
• 38:03
  or,
• 38:04
  you
• 38:04
  know,
• 38:04
  I
• 38:04
  don't
• 38:05
  feel
• 38:05
  like
• 38:05
  I
• 38:05
  fit
• 38:05
  in
• 38:05
  in
• 38:06
  this
• 38:06
  particular
• 38:06
  group,
• 38:06
  in
• 38:07
  this
• 38:07
  particular
• 38:07
  setting.
• 38:08
  And
• 38:09
  what
• 38:09
  the
• 38:09
  spider
• 38:09
  powers
• 38:10
  allow
• 38:10
  Peter
• 38:10
  to
• 38:11
  do
• 38:11
  is
• 38:11
  like,
• 38:11
  act
• 38:12
  out
• 38:12
  on
• 38:12
  things.
• 38:12
  He
• 38:12
  wouldn't
• 38:13
  be
• 38:13
  able
• 38:13
  to
• 38:13
  do
• 38:13
  a
• 38:13
  normal
• 38:13
  conversation
• 38:14
  because
• 38:14
  he
• 38:14
  doesn't
• 38:15
  think
• 38:15
  he's
• 38:15
  capable
• 38:16
  of
• 38:16
  doing
• 38:16
  it.
• 38:16
  But
• 38:17
  along
• 38:17
  the
• 38:17
  way,
• 38:17
  he
• 38:18
  starts
• 38:18
  off
• 38:18
  teenager,
• 38:19
  then
• 38:19
  he
• 38:19
  becomes
• 38:19
  college
• 38:20
  age
• 38:20
  and
• 38:21
  was
• 38:21
  for
• 38:21
  a
• 38:21
  time
• 38:22
  married.
• 38:22
  We'll
• 38:22
  get
• 38:22
  to
• 38:22
  that.
• 38:24
  But
• 38:25
  the
• 38:25
  confidence
• 38:25
  he
• 38:25
  builds,
• 38:26
  not
• 38:26
  only
• 38:26
  as
• 38:26
  Spider
• 38:26
  man
• 38:27
  also
• 38:27
  helps
• 38:27
  build
• 38:27
  the
• 38:28
  confidence
• 38:28
  of
• 38:28
  Peter
• 38:28
  Parker.
• 38:29
  Because
• 38:30
  Spider
• 38:31
  man
• 38:31
  is
• 38:31
  the
• 38:32
  mask.
• 38:32
  Peter
• 38:32
  Parker
• 38:33
  is
• 38:33
  the
• 38:33
  real
• 38:33
  guy.
• 38:34
  We
• 38:34
  also
• 38:34
  see
• 38:35
  him
• 38:35
  engaging
• 38:35
  with
• 38:35
  his
• 38:36
  supporting
• 38:36
  cast
• 38:36
  and
• 38:37
  making
• 38:37
  the
• 38:37
  decisions
• 38:37
  he
• 38:38
  does
• 38:38
  there
• 38:38
  and
• 38:39
  flaking
• 38:39
  on
• 38:40
  his
• 38:40
  friends.
• 38:40
  At
• 38:40
  times
• 38:40
  he
• 38:41
  has
• 38:41
  to
• 38:41
  deal
• 38:41
  with,
• 38:41
  you
• 38:42
  know,
• 38:42
  saving
• 38:43
  someone
• 38:43
  else's
• 38:43
  life
• 38:43
  as
• 38:44
  Spider
• 38:44
  man
• 38:44
  or
• 38:44
  like
• 38:44
  not
• 38:45
  having
• 38:45
  as
• 38:45
  many
• 38:45
  job
• 38:45
  opportunities
• 38:46
  because,
• 38:47
  you
• 38:47
  know,
• 38:47
  he's
• 38:47
  also
• 38:48
  got
• 38:48
  this
• 38:48
  huge
• 38:48
  responsibility
• 38:49
  that's
• 38:49
  built
• 38:49
  off
• 38:50
  of
• 38:50
  that
• 38:50
  guilt
• 38:50
  of
• 38:50
  the
• 38:51
  one
• 38:51
  time
• 38:51
  I
• 38:51
  didn't
• 38:52
  act,
• 38:52
  I
• 38:52
  lost
• 38:53
  my
• 38:53
  uncle.
• 38:54
  Like,
• 38:55
  can
• 38:55
  I
• 38:55
  afford
• 38:55
  to
• 38:55
  let
• 38:56
  someone
• 38:56
  else
• 38:56
  lose
• 38:56
  theirs
• 38:57
  or
• 38:57
  their
• 38:58
  aunt
• 38:58
  or
• 38:58
  their
• 38:58
  mother
• 38:59
  or
• 38:59
  what
• 38:59
  have
• 38:59
  you?
• 39:00
  Like,
• 39:01
  that's.
• 39:01
  We'll
• 39:01
  get
• 39:01
  to
• 39:02
  the
• 39:02
  excising
• 39:02
  part
• 39:02
  later.
• 39:03
  There's.
• 39:03
  There's
• 39:03
  no
• 39:04
  bill.
• 39:04
  There's
• 39:04
  noble
• 39:04
  aspects
• 39:05
  of
• 39:05
  that
• 39:05
  and
• 39:05
  there's
• 39:05
  very
• 39:05
  poor
• 39:06
  aspects
• 39:06
  about
• 39:06
  that.
• 39:07
  But
• 39:08
  to
• 39:08
  me,
• 39:08
  Spider
• 39:09
  man
• 39:09
  is
• 39:09
  like,
• 39:09
  not
• 39:10
  the
• 39:10
  ultimate
• 39:10
  underdog,
• 39:11
  but,
• 39:11
  like,
• 39:11
  compared
• 39:12
  to
• 39:12
  who
• 39:12
  he
• 39:12
  fights
• 39:13
  a
• 39:13
  lot
• 39:13
  of
• 39:13
  time
• 39:13
  he's
• 39:13
  fighting
• 39:14
  above
• 39:14
  his
• 39:14
  weight
• 39:14
  class
• 39:14
  a
• 39:15
  lot.
• 39:15
  Like
• 39:16
  most
• 39:16
  of
• 39:16
  the
• 39:16
  time,
• 39:17
  like
• 39:18
  Scorpion,
• 39:18
  Venom,
• 39:19
  Carnage,
• 39:20
  more
• 39:21
  than
• 39:21
  so
• 39:21
  on
• 39:21
  and
• 39:21
  so
• 39:21
  forth.
• 39:22
  These
• 39:22
  guys
• 39:22
  are
• 39:22
  just
• 39:23
  stronger,
• 39:23
  better
• 39:23
  than
• 39:24
  him,
• 39:24
  faster
• 39:24
  than
• 39:25
  him.
• 39:25
  But
• 39:25
  what
• 39:25
  he
• 39:25
  does
• 39:25
  is
• 39:26
  he's
• 39:26
  one
• 39:26
  of
• 39:26
  the
• 39:26
  best
• 39:26
  all
• 39:27
  arounders,
• 39:27
  Jack
• 39:28
  of
• 39:28
  all
• 39:28
  trades
• 39:29
  in
• 39:29
  Marvel.
• 39:30
  It's
• 39:30
  like,
• 39:30
  yeah,
• 39:30
  he's
• 39:31
  not
• 39:31
  the
• 39:31
  smartest.
• 39:32
  He's
• 39:32
  not
• 39:32
  as
• 39:32
  smart
• 39:32
  as
• 39:32
  Reed
• 39:33
  Richards,
• 39:33
  he's
• 39:33
  not
• 39:33
  as
• 39:33
  smart
• 39:34
  as
• 39:34
  Tony
• 39:34
  Stark,
• 39:34
  but
• 39:34
  he's
• 39:35
  smart
• 39:35
  enough
• 39:35
  to
• 39:35
  get
• 39:35
  things
• 39:35
  done,
• 39:36
  to
• 39:36
  figure
• 39:36
  out,
• 39:36
  oh,
• 39:37
  if
• 39:37
  I
• 39:38
  make
• 39:38
  this
• 39:38
  type
• 39:38
  of
• 39:38
  webbing,
• 39:39
  I
• 39:39
  can
• 39:40
  make
• 39:40
  asbestos
• 39:40
  webbing
• 39:41
  and
• 39:41
  stop
• 39:41
  the
• 39:41
  human
• 39:41
  torture.
• 39:42
  If
• 39:42
  he
• 39:42
  goes
• 39:42
  on
• 39:42
  a
• 39:42
  rampage
• 39:42
  or
• 39:43
  something,
• 39:43
  or
• 39:44
  when
• 39:45
  he's
• 39:45
  dealing
• 39:45
  with
• 39:45
  Venom,
• 39:45
  oh,
• 39:46
  no,
• 39:46
  my
• 39:46
  spider
• 39:46
  sense
• 39:46
  doesn't
• 39:47
  work.
• 39:47
  What
• 39:47
  do
• 39:47
  I
• 39:47
  do
• 39:47
  instead
• 39:49
  Then
• 39:49
  as
• 39:49
  well,
• 39:49
  he's
• 39:50
  not
• 39:50
  the
• 39:50
  strongest.
• 39:50
  Once
• 39:51
  again,
• 39:52
  compared
• 39:52
  to
• 39:52
  someone
• 39:52
  like
• 39:53
  Thor
• 39:53
  or
• 39:54
  Hulk,
• 39:54
  he's
• 39:55
  nothing.
• 39:55
  And
• 39:55
  yet
• 39:55
  at
• 39:56
  the
• 39:56
  same
• 39:56
  time,
• 39:56
  he
• 39:56
  pushes
• 39:57
  it
• 39:57
  beyond
• 39:57
  his
• 39:57
  limits
• 39:58
  to
• 39:58
  protect
• 39:58
  other
• 39:59
  people.
• 40:00
  The
• 40:00
  very
• 40:00
  iconic
• 40:01
  moment
• 40:01
  very
• 40:01
  early
• 40:01
  on
• 40:02
  where
• 40:02
  like,
• 40:02
  he's
• 40:03
  under
• 40:03
  all
• 40:03
  that
• 40:03
  wreckage,
• 40:04
  you
• 40:04
  know,
• 40:04
  Aunt
• 40:05
  May
• 40:05
  is
• 40:05
  going
• 40:05
  to
• 40:05
  die
• 40:05
  if
• 40:05
  he
• 40:06
  doesn't
• 40:06
  give
• 40:06
  like
• 40:06
  this
• 40:06
  special
• 40:07
  treatment
• 40:07
  to
• 40:07
  her.
• 40:08
  And
• 40:08
  he
• 40:08
  get
• 40:09
  will
• 40:09
  to
• 40:09
  like
• 40:09
  boost
• 40:10
  himself
• 40:10
  beyond
• 40:10
  his
• 40:11
  limits,
• 40:11
  take
• 40:11
  on
• 40:11
  these
• 40:12
  punches
• 40:12
  from
• 40:12
  people
• 40:12
  just
• 40:13
  so
• 40:13
  he
• 40:13
  can
• 40:13
  get
• 40:13
  a
• 40:13
  moment
• 40:14
  of
• 40:14
  rest
• 40:14
  in
• 40:14
  between
• 40:15
  getting
• 40:15
  punched,
• 40:16
  so
• 40:16
  he
• 40:16
  can
• 40:16
  regain
• 40:17
  his
• 40:17
  strength
• 40:18
  and
• 40:18
  to
• 40:18
  save
• 40:18
  the
• 40:19
  day.
• 40:19
  I
• 40:20
  mean,
• 40:20
  that's
• 40:21
  my
• 40:21
  Peter
• 40:21
  Parker.
• 40:22
  That's.
• 40:22
  Spider
• 40:22
  man
• 40:22
  is
• 40:22
  someone
• 40:23
  who
• 40:23
  is
• 40:23
  willing
• 40:24
  to
• 40:25
  go
• 40:25
  beyond
• 40:26
  for
• 40:26
  the
• 40:26
  sake
• 40:26
  of
• 40:26
  others.
• 40:28
  And
• 40:28
  that's
• 40:28
  something
• 40:29
  that
• 40:29
  I
• 40:29
  feel
• 40:29
  we
• 40:30
  should
• 40:30
  emulate
• 40:30
  once
• 40:30
  again.
• 40:31
  Kind
• 40:31
  of
• 40:31
  like
• 40:31
  the
• 40:31
  thing
• 40:32
  there's
• 40:33
  a
• 40:33
  problem
• 40:33
  that
• 40:33
  needs
• 40:33
  to
• 40:33
  be
• 40:34
  solved.
• 40:34
  I'm
• 40:34
  capable
• 40:35
  of
• 40:35
  solving
• 40:35
  that
• 40:36
  problem
• 40:37
  now.
• 40:37
  One
• 40:38
  thing
• 40:38
  I
• 40:38
  say
• 40:38
  we
• 40:38
  should
• 40:38
  excise
• 40:39
  about
• 40:39
  Peter
• 40:39
  is
• 40:39
  that
• 40:39
  he
• 40:40
  can
• 40:40
  be
• 40:40
  a
• 40:40
  bit
• 40:40
  of
• 40:40
  a
• 40:40
  loner
• 40:41
  and
• 40:41
  he
• 40:42
  can
• 40:42
  be
• 40:42
  a
• 40:42
  bit
• 40:42
  of
• 40:42
  a
• 40:42
  jerk.
• 40:43
  Especially
• 40:43
  early
• 40:43
  on.
• 40:44
  One
• 40:44
  of
• 40:44
  the
• 40:45
  things
• 40:45
  he
• 40:45
  got
• 40:45
  to
• 40:45
  act
• 40:45
  out
• 40:45
  of
• 40:45
  Spider
• 40:46
  man
• 40:46
  is
• 40:46
  the
• 40:46
  things
• 40:46
  he
• 40:46
  wanted
• 40:47
  to
• 40:47
  say
• 40:47
  to
• 40:47
  people
• 40:47
  that
• 40:47
  he
• 40:48
  couldn't.
• 40:48
  But
• 40:48
  now
• 40:48
  behind
• 40:48
  the
• 40:49
  mask
• 40:49
  he
• 40:49
  can.
• 40:50
  And
• 40:50
  he
• 40:51
  was
• 40:51
  very
• 40:51
  prickly
• 40:52
  and
• 40:52
  very
• 40:53
  few
• 40:53
  heroes
• 40:53
  really
• 40:53
  liked
• 40:54
  him
• 40:54
  because
• 40:54
  number
• 40:55
  one,
• 40:55
  they
• 40:55
  couldn't
• 40:55
  see
• 40:56
  who
• 40:56
  he
• 40:56
  was.
• 40:57
  And
• 40:57
  number
• 40:57
  two,
• 40:58
  he
• 40:58
  was
• 40:58
  always
• 40:58
  saying
• 40:58
  these
• 40:59
  sarcastic
• 40:59
  things
• 40:59
  to
• 41:00
  them
• 41:00
  and
• 41:00
  about
• 41:01
  the
• 41:01
  situation.
• 41:01
  So
• 41:01
  they
• 41:01
  wondered,
• 41:02
  does
• 41:02
  he
• 41:02
  even
• 41:02
  take
• 41:02
  this
• 41:02
  seriously?
• 41:03
  And
• 41:03
  it
• 41:03
  took
• 41:04
  years
• 41:04
  later
• 41:04
  they
• 41:04
  would
• 41:04
  actually
• 41:04
  learn
• 41:05
  the
• 41:05
  man
• 41:05
  behind
• 41:05
  the
• 41:06
  mask
• 41:06
  or
• 41:06
  if
• 41:06
  they
• 41:07
  know
• 41:07
  who
• 41:07
  he
• 41:07
  is
• 41:07
  or
• 41:07
  even
• 41:07
  like
• 41:08
  get
• 41:08
  a
• 41:08
  respect
• 41:08
  for
• 41:08
  him
• 41:08
  because
• 41:09
  they
• 41:09
  know,
• 41:09
  oh,
• 41:09
  he's
• 41:09
  just
• 41:09
  using
• 41:10
  it
• 41:10
  as
• 41:10
  a
• 41:10
  coping
• 41:10
  mechanism.
• 41:11
  Like,
• 41:11
  you
• 41:11
  know,
• 41:12
  it's
• 41:12
  scary
• 41:12
  doing
• 41:12
  what
• 41:13
  we
• 41:13
  do.
• 41:13
  So,
• 41:13
  like,
• 41:14
  if
• 41:14
  I'm.
• 41:14
  If
• 41:14
  Spider
• 41:15
  Man's
• 41:15
  telling
• 41:15
  jokes,
• 41:16
  that
• 41:16
  means
• 41:16
  he's
• 41:16
  afraid.
• 41:16
  But
• 41:17
  we're
• 41:17
  okay.
• 41:17
  If
• 41:18
  Spider
• 41:18
  man
• 41:18
  isn't
• 41:18
  talking,
• 41:19
  we're
• 41:19
  screwed,
• 41:20
  you
• 41:20
  know,
• 41:20
  because
• 41:21
  he's
• 41:21
  really
• 41:21
  afraid.
• 41:24
  So,
• 41:25
  like,
• 41:25
  there's
• 41:25
  something
• 41:25
  about
• 41:26
  handling
• 41:26
  things
• 41:26
  with
• 41:26
  humor
• 41:27
  also
• 41:27
  as
• 41:27
  well.
• 41:27
  We
• 41:28
  should,
• 41:28
  you
• 41:28
  know,
• 41:28
  emulate
• 41:29
  to
• 41:29
  an
• 41:29
  extent.
• 41:29
  Like
• 41:29
  to
• 41:30
  not.
• 41:31
  I
• 41:31
  do
• 41:31
  that.
• 41:31
  I
• 41:31
  reflect
• 41:32
  with
• 41:32
  humor
• 41:32
  to,
• 41:33
  you
• 41:33
  know,
• 41:33
  something
• 41:34
  goes
• 41:34
  wrong.
• 41:34
  It's
• 41:34
  like
• 41:34
  you
• 41:34
  try
• 41:35
  and
• 41:35
  make
• 41:35
  everyone
• 41:35
  else
• 41:35
  feel
• 41:36
  okay.
• 41:36
  It's
• 41:36
  like,
• 41:37
  okay,
• 41:37
  it's
• 41:37
  not
• 41:37
  that
• 41:37
  bad.
• 41:38
  We
• 41:38
  can
• 41:38
  work
• 41:38
  on
• 41:38
  something.
• 41:39
  But
• 41:39
  when
• 41:40
  you
• 41:40
  do
• 41:40
  that
• 41:40
  too
• 41:40
  much,
• 41:41
  it
• 41:42
  makes
• 41:42
  it
• 41:42
  look
• 41:42
  like
• 41:42
  you
• 41:43
  don't
• 41:43
  care
• 41:44
  or
• 41:44
  that
• 41:44
  you
• 41:44
  feel
• 41:45
  like
• 41:45
  you're
• 41:45
  above
• 41:45
  what's
• 41:46
  happening.
• 41:47
  So
• 41:47
  that's
• 41:48
  something
• 41:48
  that
• 41:48
  should
• 41:48
  be
• 41:48
  excised.
• 41:49
  But
• 41:49
  the
• 41:50
  biggest
• 41:50
  thing
• 41:50
  is
• 41:51
  the,
• 41:51
  the
• 41:51
  dual
• 41:51
  nature
• 41:52
  of
• 41:52
  the
• 41:52
  with
• 41:53
  great
• 41:53
  power
• 41:53
  that
• 41:53
  must
• 41:53
  come
• 41:54
  great
• 41:54
  responsibility.
• 41:55
  And
• 41:55
  the
• 41:55
  guilt
• 41:55
  that
• 41:56
  he
• 41:56
  suffers.
• 41:58
  This
• 41:58
  is
• 41:58
  who
• 41:58
  makes
• 41:58
  the
• 41:59
  character
• 41:59
  Spider
• 42:00
  Man.
• 42:01
  Without
• 42:01
  this,
• 42:01
  he's
• 42:02
  not
• 42:02
  the
• 42:02
  man
• 42:02
  he
• 42:02
  is.
• 42:03
  There's
• 42:04
  been
• 42:04
  what
• 42:04
  ifs
• 42:05
  done
• 42:05
  of
• 42:05
  like,
• 42:05
  you
• 42:05
  know,
• 42:05
  if
• 42:05
  he
• 42:05
  never
• 42:06
  learned
• 42:06
  that
• 42:06
  responsibility,
• 42:07
  like
• 42:07
  he
• 42:07
  becomes
• 42:07
  like
• 42:07
  a
• 42:08
  showman
• 42:08
  in
• 42:08
  one
• 42:09
  what
• 42:09
  if
• 42:10
  issue
• 42:10
  where
• 42:10
  it's
• 42:11
  like,
• 42:11
  oh,
• 42:11
  I'm
• 42:12
  an
• 42:12
  actor,
• 42:12
  but
• 42:13
  I'm
• 42:13
  also
• 42:13
  a
• 42:13
  superhero.
• 42:13
  But
• 42:14
  he
• 42:14
  never
• 42:14
  really
• 42:14
  like
• 42:14
  learns
• 42:15
  and
• 42:15
  trains.
• 42:15
  So
• 42:15
  when
• 42:15
  something
• 42:16
  bad
• 42:16
  happens
• 42:16
  to
• 42:16
  him,
• 42:17
  he's
• 42:17
  not
• 42:17
  prepared
• 42:17
  for
• 42:17
  it
• 42:18
  that
• 42:18
  he
• 42:18
  would
• 42:18
  have
• 42:19
  been
• 42:20
  as
• 42:20
  opposed
• 42:20
  to
• 42:20
  what
• 42:20
  he
• 42:21
  would
• 42:21
  be
• 42:21
  like
• 42:21
  in
• 42:21
  our
• 42:21
  regular
• 42:22
  timeline.
• 42:23
  And
• 42:24
  that
• 42:24
  responsibility
• 42:25
  that
• 42:25
  drives
• 42:25
  him
• 42:25
  is
• 42:26
  so
• 42:26
  good
• 42:26
  because
• 42:26
  he
• 42:26
  thinks
• 42:27
  I
• 42:27
  have
• 42:28
  this
• 42:28
  power,
• 42:29
  let
• 42:29
  me
• 42:29
  use
• 42:29
  it
• 42:30
  wisely
• 42:30
  and
• 42:30
  help
• 42:31
  protect
• 42:31
  other
• 42:31
  people
• 42:31
  so
• 42:32
  that
• 42:32
  they
• 42:32
  don't
• 42:32
  have
• 42:32
  to
• 42:32
  suffer
• 42:32
  like
• 42:33
  I
• 42:33
  had
• 42:33
  to
• 42:33
  suffer.
• 42:34
  And
• 42:35
  I
• 42:35
  think
• 42:35
  that's
• 42:35
  a
• 42:35
  lot
• 42:35
  of
• 42:35
  what
• 42:36
  mentors
• 42:36
  should
• 42:36
  be
• 42:37
  doing
• 42:37
  to
• 42:38
  their
• 42:38
  students
• 42:39
  or
• 42:39
  just
• 42:39
  in
• 42:39
  general
• 42:40
  people
• 42:40
  to
• 42:40
  the
• 42:40
  people
• 42:40
  around
• 42:41
  them.
• 42:41
  It's
• 42:41
  like,
• 42:41
  hey,
• 42:42
  I
• 42:42
  went
• 42:42
  through
• 42:43
  this.
• 42:43
  Let
• 42:43
  me
• 42:44
  do
• 42:44
  everything
• 42:44
  in
• 42:45
  my
• 42:45
  power
• 42:45
  to
• 42:45
  make
• 42:45
  sure
• 42:46
  you
• 42:46
  don't
• 42:46
  have
• 42:46
  to
• 42:47
  so
• 42:47
  that
• 42:47
  you
• 42:47
  can
• 42:47
  learn
• 42:48
  the
• 42:48
  lesson
• 42:48
  without
• 42:48
  having
• 42:48
  had
• 42:49
  to
• 42:49
  go
• 42:49
  through
• 42:49
  it.
• 42:50
  That's
• 42:51
  huge.
• 42:52
  But
• 42:52
  then
• 42:53
  the
• 42:53
  bad
• 42:53
  part
• 42:53
  comes
• 42:53
  in
• 42:54
  with
• 42:54
  that.
• 42:54
  Guilt
• 42:55
  is
• 42:55
  also
• 42:55
  what
• 42:55
  helps
• 42:56
  define
• 42:56
  him
• 42:56
  to
• 42:56
  an
• 42:56
  extent
• 42:57
  of
• 42:57
  where
• 42:57
  he
• 42:57
  can't
• 42:57
  let
• 42:58
  go
• 42:58
  of
• 42:58
  the
• 42:58
  past
• 42:59
  and
• 42:59
  he
• 43:00
  can't
• 43:00
  forgive
• 43:00
  himself.
• 43:02
  And
• 43:03
  I
• 43:03
  think
• 43:03
  at
• 43:04
  the
• 43:04
  end
• 43:04
  of
• 43:04
  the
• 43:04
  day,
• 43:04
  Peter
• 43:05
  will
• 43:05
  never
• 43:05
  fully
• 43:05
  forgive
• 43:06
  himself.
• 43:07
  But
• 43:07
  I
• 43:07
  think
• 43:07
  he's
• 43:08
  gotten
• 43:08
  to
• 43:08
  the
• 43:08
  point
• 43:08
  where
• 43:09
  he
• 43:09
  knows
• 43:09
  it
• 43:10
  wasn't
• 43:10
  truly
• 43:11
  100%
• 43:11
  his
• 43:12
  fault,
• 43:12
  like
• 43:13
  bad
• 43:13
  things
• 43:13
  would
• 43:13
  have
• 43:13
  happened
• 43:14
  anyways.
• 43:15
  So
• 43:15
  he's
• 43:15
  got
• 43:15
  to
• 43:16
  move
• 43:16
  on
• 43:17
  past
• 43:17
  that.
• 43:17
  And
• 43:17
  I
• 43:17
  think
• 43:18
  one
• 43:18
  of
• 43:18
  the
• 43:18
  bad
• 43:18
  things
• 43:18
  about
• 43:20
  some
• 43:20
  recent
• 43:21
  Spider
• 43:21
  man
• 43:22
  is
• 43:22
  that
• 43:22
  the
• 43:23
  responsibility
• 43:23
  aspect
• 43:24
  has
• 43:24
  been
• 43:24
  removed
• 43:24
  to
• 43:25
  him.
• 43:25
  Because
• 43:25
  what
• 43:25
  is
• 43:25
  more
• 43:26
  responsible
• 43:27
  than
• 43:27
  being
• 43:27
  a
• 43:27
  husband
• 43:28
  and
• 43:28
  what
• 43:29
  is
• 43:29
  more
• 43:29
  responsible
• 43:29
  than
• 43:30
  that
• 43:30
  to
• 43:30
  being
• 43:30
  a
• 43:30
  father
• 43:31
  in
• 43:32
  that
• 43:32
  scenario
• 43:32
  for
• 43:32
  him.
• 43:33
  And
• 43:34
  the
• 43:34
  child
• 43:34
  was
• 43:34
  taken
• 43:35
  away
• 43:35
  from
• 43:35
  him
• 43:35
  because
• 43:36
  of
• 43:36
  editorial
• 43:36
  decisions.
• 43:37
  Mary
• 43:37
  Jane
• 43:37
  was
• 43:38
  taken
• 43:38
  away
• 43:38
  from
• 43:38
  him
• 43:38
  because,
• 43:39
  you
• 43:39
  know,
• 43:39
  we
• 43:39
  got
• 43:39
  to
• 43:39
  sell,
• 43:40
  we
• 43:40
  got
• 43:40
  to
• 43:40
  save
• 43:40
  some
• 43:40
  90
• 43:41
  year
• 43:41
  old
• 43:41
  bag
• 43:41
  who's
• 43:42
  about
• 43:42
  to
• 43:42
  die
• 43:42
  anyways
• 43:43
  thanks
• 43:43
  to
• 43:43
  the
• 43:43
  powers
• 43:44
  of
• 43:44
  Mephisto,
• 43:44
  you
• 43:45
  know,
• 43:45
  the
• 43:45
  Marvel
• 43:45
  analog
• 43:45
  to
• 43:46
  Satan.
• 43:46
  You
• 43:46
  know,
• 43:46
  that's
• 43:46
  what
• 43:46
  our
• 43:47
  hero
• 43:47
  is
• 43:47
  doing
• 43:47
  by,
• 43:47
  by
• 43:48
  the
• 43:48
  way.
• 43:49
  And
• 43:49
  I
• 43:49
  will
• 43:50
  never
• 43:50
  let
• 43:50
  that
• 43:50
  go
• 43:50
  until
• 43:51
  it's
• 43:51
  fixed.
• 43:52
  And
• 43:52
  that's
• 43:52
  when
• 43:53
  you
• 43:53
  get
• 43:53
  to
• 43:53
  the
• 43:53
  darker
• 43:53
  aspects
• 43:54
  of
• 43:54
  the
• 43:54
  responsibility
• 43:55
  going
• 43:55
  too
• 43:55
  far
• 43:55
  in
• 43:55
  one
• 43:56
  direction.
• 43:56
  He
• 43:56
  becomes
• 43:56
  less
• 43:57
  of
• 43:57
  the
• 43:57
  hero's
• 43:57
  supposed
• 43:58
  to
• 43:58
  be.
• 43:58
  Yeah,
• 43:59
  I
• 43:59
  talk
• 43:59
  a
• 43:59
  lot.
• 44:00
  I
• 44:00
  want,
• 44:00
  I
• 44:00
  want
• 44:00
  to
• 44:00
  hear
• 44:00
  what
• 44:00
  you
• 44:00
  have
• 44:01
  to
• 44:01
  say.
• 44:03
  I
• 44:04
  love
• 44:04
  that
• 44:04
  we
• 44:04
  have
• 44:04
  the
• 44:04
  same
• 44:05
  Pick
• 44:05
  that
• 44:05
  makes
• 44:05
  me
• 44:06
  happy.
• 44:07
  I
• 44:07
  think
• 44:07
  as
• 44:08
  far
• 44:08
  as,
• 44:08
  like,
• 44:09
  things
• 44:09
  that
• 44:09
  we
• 44:09
  could
• 44:10
  excise
• 44:10
  from
• 44:11
  ourselves
• 44:12
  that
• 44:12
  are
• 44:12
  like
• 44:13
  Spider
• 44:14
  man
• 44:14
  and
• 44:14
  Peter
• 44:15
  Parker
• 44:15
  is,
• 44:15
  you
• 44:16
  had
• 44:16
  mentioned
• 44:16
  a
• 44:16
  little
• 44:16
  bit
• 44:16
  the
• 44:17
  humor,
• 44:17
  and
• 44:17
  I
• 44:17
  think,
• 44:17
  yes,
• 44:18
  the
• 44:18
  humor
• 44:18
  is
• 44:18
  super
• 44:18
  important,
• 44:19
  but
• 44:19
  it's
• 44:20
  sarcasm,
• 44:20
  right?
• 44:21
  Like
• 44:21
  teenagers
• 44:22
  use
• 44:22
  sarcasm
• 44:23
  as
• 44:23
  this
• 44:23
  tool.
• 44:24
  Yes.
• 44:25
  Because
• 44:25
  they
• 44:25
  can't
• 44:26
  just
• 44:26
  tell
• 44:26
  their
• 44:26
  parents
• 44:27
  f
• 44:27
  you
• 44:28
  and
• 44:28
  so
• 44:29
  instead
• 44:30
  they,
• 44:30
  they
• 44:30
  use
• 44:30
  sarcasm.
• 44:31
  But
• 44:31
  it's
• 44:31
  hurtful
• 44:32
  and
• 44:33
  it's
• 44:33
  like
• 44:33
  rarely
• 44:34
  ever
• 44:35
  adds
• 44:35
  anything
• 44:36
  to
• 44:36
  a
• 44:36
  situation
• 44:38
  and
• 44:39
  a
• 44:39
  lot
• 44:39
  of
• 44:39
  us
• 44:39
  mature
• 44:40
  out
• 44:40
  of
• 44:40
  it.
• 44:40
  I
• 44:40
  don't
• 44:40
  see
• 44:41
  Peter
• 44:41
  Parker
• 44:41
  ever
• 44:41
  maturing
• 44:42
  out
• 44:42
  of
• 44:42
  it.
• 44:42
  I
• 44:42
  think
• 44:42
  he
• 44:43
  still
• 44:43
  uses
• 44:43
  this
• 44:44
  as
• 44:44
  like
• 44:44
  a,
• 44:44
  a
• 44:44
  jab
• 44:45
  and
• 44:45
  a
• 44:45
  tool
• 44:45
  to
• 44:45
  hurt
• 44:46
  people,
• 44:46
  even
• 44:46
  people
• 44:47
  that
• 44:47
  he
• 44:47
  loves.
• 44:48
  And
• 44:49
  I
• 44:49
  don't
• 44:50
  think
• 44:50
  we
• 44:50
  need
• 44:50
  that.
• 44:52
  I,
• 44:53
  I
• 44:53
  don't
• 44:53
  think
• 44:53
  we
• 44:53
  need
• 44:54
  it
• 44:54
  in
• 44:54
  today's
• 44:54
  world
• 44:55
  with
• 44:55
  the
• 44:55
  things
• 44:55
  that
• 44:56
  we're
• 44:56
  up
• 44:56
  against
• 44:56
  and
• 44:56
  we're
• 44:57
  fighting.
• 44:57
  I
• 44:57
  think
• 44:57
  humor,
• 44:58
  yes.
• 44:58
  Sarcasm,
• 44:59
  no.
• 45:00
  Okay.
• 45:01
  Anything
• 45:01
  else?
• 45:03
  The
• 45:04
  I,
• 45:04
  I,
• 45:04
  I
• 45:05
  really
• 45:05
  like
• 45:05
  what
• 45:05
  you
• 45:05
  had
• 45:06
  said
• 45:06
  about
• 45:06
  the
• 45:06
  play
• 45:06
  of
• 45:07
  like,
• 45:07
  the
• 45:07
  personal
• 45:07
  responsibility,
• 45:08
  but
• 45:08
  also
• 45:09
  letting
• 45:09
  yourself
• 45:09
  off
• 45:10
  the
• 45:10
  hook
• 45:10
  for
• 45:10
  the
• 45:10
  guilt
• 45:10
  that
• 45:11
  you
• 45:11
  might
• 45:11
  feel
• 45:11
  because
• 45:12
  that'll
• 45:12
  just
• 45:12
  take
• 45:12
  you
• 45:12
  down
• 45:13
  a
• 45:13
  spiral
• 45:14
  and
• 45:14
  can
• 45:14
  lead
• 45:14
  to
• 45:15
  this
• 45:15
  horrible
• 45:15
  things
• 45:16
  happening
• 45:16
  to
• 45:16
  both
• 45:17
  the
• 45:17
  people
• 45:17
  around
• 45:17
  you
• 45:17
  and
• 45:18
  the
• 45:18
  people
• 45:18
  that
• 45:18
  you're,
• 45:19
  you
• 45:20
  know,
• 45:20
  charged
• 45:20
  with
• 45:20
  protecting.
• 45:22
  So
• 45:22
  it's
• 45:23
  that
• 45:23
  being
• 45:24
  able
• 45:24
  to
• 45:24
  forgive
• 45:24
  yourself.
• 45:25
  Yeah,
• 45:26
  I
• 45:26
  think,
• 45:26
  I
• 45:26
  think
• 45:26
  is
• 45:27
  something
• 45:27
  we
• 45:27
  can
• 45:27
  all
• 45:27
  learn
• 45:28
  from
• 45:28
  that
• 45:28
  character,
• 45:28
  from
• 45:29
  something
• 45:29
  that
• 45:29
  he
• 45:29
  wasn't
• 45:30
  able
• 45:30
  to
• 45:30
  do.
• 45:30
  Maybe
• 45:30
  we
• 45:31
  can
• 45:31
  figure
• 45:31
  out,
• 45:31
  you
• 45:32
  know,
• 45:32
  see
• 45:32
  it
• 45:32
  and
• 45:33
  be
• 45:33
  able
• 45:33
  to
• 45:33
  forgive
• 45:33
  ourselves
• 45:34
  for
• 45:34
  the
• 45:34
  things
• 45:34
  that
• 45:34
  we
• 45:35
  just
• 45:35
  can't
• 45:36
  let
• 45:36
  ourselves
• 45:36
  off
• 45:36
  the
• 45:36
  hook
• 45:36
  for.
• 45:38
  Those
• 45:38
  you
• 45:38
  think,
• 45:38
  oh,
• 45:38
  it'd
• 45:38
  be
• 45:38
  super
• 45:39
  easy.
• 45:39
  I
• 45:40
  love
• 45:40
  me,
• 45:40
  let
• 45:40
  me
• 45:40
  forgive
• 45:40
  me.
• 45:41
  But
• 45:41
  it,
• 45:42
  then
• 45:42
  it
• 45:43
  gets
• 45:43
  to
• 45:43
  the
• 45:43
  point
• 45:43
  you,
• 45:43
  what
• 45:44
  did
• 45:44
  you
• 45:44
  do?
• 45:44
  You
• 45:44
  hurt
• 45:44
  other
• 45:45
  people,
• 45:45
  or
• 45:45
  you
• 45:46
  said
• 45:46
  this
• 45:46
  and,
• 45:47
  you
• 45:47
  know,
• 45:47
  it
• 45:47
  caused
• 45:48
  something
• 45:48
  bad
• 45:48
  to
• 45:48
  happen,
• 45:49
  or
• 45:49
  you
• 45:49
  did
• 45:49
  this
• 45:50
  and
• 45:50
  it
• 45:50
  caused
• 45:50
  something
• 45:50
  bad
• 45:50
  to
• 45:50
  happen.
• 45:51
  It's
• 45:51
  like,
• 45:51
  I
• 45:51
  don't
• 45:51
  know
• 45:51
  if
• 45:51
  I
• 45:52
  forgive
• 45:52
  myself.
• 45:52
  Well,
• 45:53
  good
• 45:53
  news
• 45:53
  is
• 45:54
  we
• 45:54
  can.
• 45:55
  And
• 45:55
  the
• 45:55
  good
• 45:55
  news
• 45:55
  is
• 45:55
  we
• 45:56
  have
• 45:56
  the
• 45:56
  person,
• 45:56
  the
• 45:57
  good
• 45:57
  shepherd,
• 45:57
  who
• 45:57
  can
• 45:57
  help
• 45:57
  us,
• 45:58
  you
• 45:58
  know,
• 45:58
  help
• 45:59
  us
• 45:59
  to
• 45:59
  give
• 45:59
  ourselves
• 46:00
  forgiveness.
• 46:01
  So
• 46:01
  I'm
• 46:01
  incredibly
• 46:02
  grateful
• 46:02
  for
• 46:02
  that.
• 46:03
  And
• 46:03
  like,
• 46:04
  when
• 46:04
  it
• 46:04
  comes
• 46:04
  to
• 46:05
  the
• 46:05
  religious
• 46:05
  part
• 46:06
  of
• 46:06
  it,
• 46:06
  like,
• 46:06
  Peter
• 46:06
  has
• 46:07
  been
• 46:07
  kind
• 46:07
  of
• 46:07
  sort
• 46:08
  of
• 46:08
  of
• 46:08
  Protestant.
• 46:09
  It's
• 46:09
  not
• 46:10
  really
• 46:10
  focused
• 46:10
  on
• 46:11
  like
• 46:11
  modern
• 46:12
  writers
• 46:12
  are
• 46:12
  being
• 46:12
  who
• 46:12
  they
• 46:13
  are.
• 46:13
  He's
• 46:13
  probably
• 46:13
  seen
• 46:14
  more
• 46:14
  as
• 46:14
  an
• 46:14
  agnostic
• 46:16
  who
• 46:16
  was
• 46:17
  raised
• 46:17
  Christian,
• 46:18
  as
• 46:18
  it
• 46:18
  were.
• 46:19
  So
• 46:19
  that's
• 46:20
  something
• 46:20
  I'd
• 46:20
  like
• 46:20
  to
• 46:20
  see
• 46:21
  return
• 46:21
  to
• 46:21
  a
• 46:21
  little
• 46:21
  bit
• 46:22
  to
• 46:22
  his,
• 46:22
  have
• 46:22
  him
• 46:22
  explore
• 46:23
  some
• 46:23
  of
• 46:23
  his
• 46:23
  roots
• 46:23
  in
• 46:24
  that
• 46:24
  way.
• 46:24
  Because,
• 46:24
  like,
• 46:25
  May
• 46:25
  definitely
• 46:25
  is
• 46:25
  someone
• 46:26
  who's
• 46:26
  a
• 46:26
  woman
• 46:26
  of
• 46:27
  faith
• 46:28
  and
• 46:28
  see
• 46:28
  him
• 46:29
  kind
• 46:29
  of
• 46:29
  rest
• 46:29
  with
• 46:29
  that.
• 46:29
  That'd
• 46:30
  be
• 46:30
  its
• 46:30
  own
• 46:30
  thing.
• 46:31
  But
• 46:31
  like
• 46:31
  anything
• 46:32
  else
• 46:32
  we
• 46:32
  want
• 46:32
  to
• 46:32
  say
• 46:32
  about
• 46:33
  our
• 46:33
  number
• 46:33
  one
• 46:33
  pick,
• 46:33
  pick.
• 46:34
  Spider
• 46:34
  man
• 46:35
  said
• 46:36
  that.
• 46:36
  I'm
• 46:36
  very
• 46:37
  curious
• 46:37
  because
• 46:37
  I
• 46:38
  think
• 46:38
  this
• 46:38
  is
• 46:38
  a
• 46:38
  character
• 46:39
  really
• 46:39
  close
• 46:39
  to
• 46:39
  Stanley's
• 46:40
  heart.
• 46:40
  Like,
• 46:40
  this
• 46:41
  was
• 46:41
  his
• 46:42
  first,
• 46:42
  like,
• 46:42
  you
• 46:43
  know,
• 46:43
  hit.
• 46:44
  And
• 46:44
  I'm
• 46:45
  wondering
• 46:45
  why
• 46:45
  he
• 46:45
  didn't
• 46:46
  write
• 46:46
  the
• 46:47
  Parker
• 46:47
  family
• 46:47
  as
• 46:48
  Jewish.
• 46:49
  That's
• 46:49
  interesting.
• 46:50
  60S.
• 46:51
  Oh.
• 46:52
  Same
• 46:52
  thing.
• 46:52
  Why
• 46:52
  Ben
• 46:52
  Grimm
• 46:53
  wasn't
• 46:53
  originally
• 46:54
  Jewish
• 46:55
  until
• 46:55
  it
• 46:55
  was
• 46:55
  retconned
• 46:56
  later
• 46:56
  on.
• 46:56
  And
• 46:56
  I
• 46:56
  would
• 46:56
  argue
• 46:57
  a
• 46:57
  really
• 46:57
  good
• 46:57
  retcon,
• 46:58
  you
• 46:58
  know,
• 46:58
  given,
• 46:59
  you
• 46:59
  know,
• 47:00
  Kirby
• 47:00
  and
• 47:00
  his
• 47:01
  sensibilities,
• 47:01
  both
• 47:01
  of
• 47:01
  them
• 47:01
  being
• 47:02
  Jewish
• 47:02
  men.
• 47:02
  Lee
• 47:02
  and
• 47:02
  Kirby
• 47:03
  both.
• 47:04
  Wait.
• 47:04
  Yes.
• 47:05
  I
• 47:05
  was
• 47:05
  thinking
• 47:05
  of
• 47:06
  Ditko
• 47:06
  for
• 47:06
  a
• 47:06
  second.
• 47:06
  He
• 47:07
  was
• 47:07
  not
• 47:07
  Jewish,
• 47:07
  if
• 47:07
  I'm
• 47:07
  remembering
• 47:08
  correctly.
• 47:09
  So
• 47:10
  that's
• 47:10
  why
• 47:10
  they
• 47:10
  did
• 47:10
  it
• 47:10
  for
• 47:10
  the
• 47:10
  thing
• 47:11
  later
• 47:11
  on.
• 47:11
  But
• 47:11
  I
• 47:11
  think
• 47:11
  for
• 47:11
  Peter,
• 47:12
  they
• 47:12
  wanted
• 47:13
  him
• 47:13
  to
• 47:13
  be
• 47:13
  like,
• 47:13
  the
• 47:13
  typical
• 47:14
  American
• 47:14
  teenager.
• 47:15
  And
• 47:15
  that
• 47:15
  would
• 47:16
  primarily
• 47:16
  be
• 47:16
  white,
• 47:17
  Anglo,
• 47:17
  Saxon.
• 47:18
  Yeah.
• 47:20
  So
• 47:20
  having,
• 47:21
  like,
• 47:22
  a
• 47:22
  distinctly
• 47:22
  Jewish
• 47:23
  character
• 47:23
  probably
• 47:24
  wouldn't
• 47:24
  be
• 47:24
  seen
• 47:24
  as,
• 47:25
  like,
• 47:25
  great
• 47:25
  as
• 47:26
  your
• 47:27
  main
• 47:27
  guy.
• 47:28
  I'm
• 47:28
  not
• 47:28
  saying
• 47:28
  that's
• 47:29
  right,
• 47:29
  but
• 47:29
  I'm
• 47:30
  thinking
• 47:30
  that
• 47:30
  was
• 47:30
  the
• 47:30
  decision
• 47:30
  they
• 47:31
  made
• 47:31
  behind
• 47:31
  the
• 47:31
  scenes
• 47:32
  of
• 47:32
  maybe
• 47:32
  not
• 47:32
  to
• 47:33
  do
• 47:33
  it
• 47:33
  that
• 47:33
  way.
• 47:34
  Mm.
• 47:34
  It's
• 47:34
  so
• 47:35
  funny
• 47:35
  with
• 47:35
  pop
• 47:35
  culture.
• 47:36
  Right.
• 47:36
  Like,
• 47:36
  it's
• 47:36
  totally
• 47:37
  cool
• 47:37
  to
• 47:37
  have
• 47:37
  Captain
• 47:38
  America
• 47:38
  fighting
• 47:39
  Nazis,
• 47:39
  but
• 47:40
  we
• 47:40
  certainly
• 47:41
  don't
• 47:41
  want
• 47:41
  to
• 47:41
  give
• 47:41
  him
• 47:41
  a
• 47:42
  Jewish
• 47:42
  identity.
• 47:43
  Just
• 47:43
  interesting.
• 47:45
  It
• 47:45
  was
• 47:45
  the
• 47:45
  60s.
• 47:45
  It
• 47:46
  was
• 47:46
  a
• 47:46
  different
• 47:46
  time.
• 47:47
  Doesn't
• 47:47
  make
• 47:47
  it
• 47:47
  right.
• 47:47
  But
• 47:47
  that's
• 47:48
  where
• 47:48
  they
• 47:48
  were.
• 47:49
  All
• 47:49
  right,
• 47:50
  so
• 47:50
  those
• 47:50
  were
• 47:51
  our
• 47:51
  top
• 47:51
  three
• 47:51
  picks
• 47:51
  for
• 47:52
  our
• 47:52
  iconic
• 47:52
  characters.
• 47:53
  Jill,
• 47:54
  would
• 47:54
  you
• 47:54
  like
• 47:54
  to
• 47:54
  shout
• 47:54
  out
• 47:54
  any
• 47:54
  other
• 47:55
  iconic
• 47:55
  characters
• 47:56
  that
• 47:56
  you
• 47:56
  would
• 47:56
  like
• 47:57
  to
• 47:57
  mention?
• 47:58
  Yeah.
• 47:59
  So,
• 48:00
  I
• 48:00
  mean,
• 48:00
  I
• 48:00
  feel
• 48:00
  like
• 48:00
  a
• 48:01
  bad
• 48:01
  feminist
• 48:01
  here
• 48:02
  on
• 48:02
  this
• 48:02
  show
• 48:02
  because
• 48:03
  I
• 48:03
  only
• 48:03
  talked
• 48:03
  about
• 48:04
  the
• 48:04
  men
• 48:04
  of
• 48:04
  Marvel,
• 48:04
  but
• 48:05
  it's
• 48:05
  not
• 48:05
  my
• 48:05
  fault
• 48:06
  that
• 48:06
  they
• 48:06
  wrote
• 48:07
  so
• 48:07
  many
• 48:07
  great
• 48:07
  men.
• 48:08
  And
• 48:08
  I
• 48:09
  feel
• 48:09
  like
• 48:09
  some
• 48:09
  of
• 48:09
  the
• 48:10
  female
• 48:10
  characters
• 48:10
  are
• 48:10
  like
• 48:11
  afterthoughts.
• 48:12
  I
• 48:13
  think
• 48:13
  Shuri
• 48:13
  is
• 48:14
  iconic
• 48:15
  in
• 48:15
  the
• 48:15
  Black
• 48:15
  Panther
• 48:16
  series,
• 48:16
  and
• 48:16
  I
• 48:17
  would
• 48:17
  love
• 48:17
  to
• 48:18
  see
• 48:18
  more
• 48:18
  of
• 48:18
  her
• 48:19
  character
• 48:19
  development
• 48:21
  as
• 48:22
  a
• 48:22
  cinematic
• 48:23
  universe,
• 48:23
  like,
• 48:23
  progresses.
• 48:25
  She,
• 48:25
  Hulk,
• 48:26
  I
• 48:26
  think,
• 48:27
  really
• 48:28
  has,
• 48:29
  like,
• 48:29
  there's.
• 48:30
  There's
• 48:30
  so
• 48:31
  much
• 48:31
  opportunity
• 48:31
  there,
• 48:32
  and
• 48:32
  it's
• 48:32
  so
• 48:32
  ripe
• 48:33
  for
• 48:33
  more,
• 48:35
  I
• 48:35
  think,
• 48:36
  in
• 48:36
  the
• 48:36
  comics.
• 48:36
  It's
• 48:36
  really
• 48:37
  cool.
• 48:37
  I
• 48:37
  don't
• 48:37
  really
• 48:37
  love
• 48:38
  what
• 48:38
  Marvel
• 48:38
  did
• 48:39
  with
• 48:39
  the
• 48:39
  TV
• 48:39
  series,
• 48:40
  and
• 48:40
  so
• 48:40
  I'd
• 48:41
  like
• 48:41
  to
• 48:41
  see
• 48:41
  her
• 48:41
  come
• 48:41
  in
• 48:42
  better.
• 48:43
  Just.
• 48:43
  Yeah,
• 48:44
  okay.
• 48:46
  Yeah.
• 48:47
  So
• 48:47
  we
• 48:47
  did
• 48:47
  an
• 48:47
  episode,
• 48:49
  Josh
• 48:49
  and
• 48:50
  I,
• 48:50
  with
• 48:50
  Leah
• 48:51
  not
• 48:52
  too
• 48:52
  far
• 48:52
  back
• 48:52
  and
• 48:53
  our
• 48:53
  top
• 48:53
  female
• 48:53
  characters,
• 48:54
  and
• 48:54
  Storm
• 48:55
  was
• 48:56
  on
• 48:56
  Mine,
• 48:57
  I
• 48:58
  love
• 48:58
  her.
• 48:58
  Like,
• 48:59
  ever
• 48:59
  since
• 48:59
  seeing
• 48:59
  her
• 48:59
  in
• 48:59
  an
• 48:59
  animated
• 49:00
  series,
• 49:00
  seeing
• 49:01
  someone
• 49:01
  who
• 49:01
  control
• 49:01
  the
• 49:02
  weather,
• 49:02
  who's
• 49:03
  this
• 49:03
  super
• 49:03
  awesome
• 49:04
  chick.
• 49:04
  Love
• 49:05
  her
• 49:05
  to
• 49:05
  death.
• 49:05
  Like,
• 49:06
  she's
• 49:06
  gone
• 49:06
  through
• 49:06
  really
• 49:06
  great
• 49:07
  arcs
• 49:07
  throughout
• 49:07
  the
• 49:07
  comics,
• 49:08
  too.
• 49:09
  And
• 49:09
  if
• 49:10
  we
• 49:10
  don't
• 49:10
  hit
• 49:10
  every
• 49:10
  Marvel
• 49:11
  character,
• 49:11
  you
• 49:11
  know,
• 49:11
  it's
• 49:11
  because
• 49:11
  there's
• 49:12
  hundreds
• 49:12
  of
• 49:12
  them.
• 49:13
  So,
• 49:13
  you
• 49:13
  know,
• 49:13
  if
• 49:14
  you
• 49:14
  don't
• 49:14
  literally,
• 49:15
  like,
• 49:15
  let
• 49:15
  us
• 49:16
  know.
• 49:16
  Like,
• 49:16
  we
• 49:16
  want
• 49:17
  to
• 49:17
  hear
• 49:17
  who
• 49:17
  your
• 49:17
  icons
• 49:18
  are,
• 49:18
  too.
• 49:19
  But,
• 49:19
  I
• 49:20
  mean,
• 49:20
  of
• 49:20
  course
• 49:20
  you've
• 49:21
  got
• 49:21
  your
• 49:21
  staples.
• 49:21
  You
• 49:22
  know,
• 49:22
  Captain
• 49:22
  America's
• 49:23
  always
• 49:23
  been
• 49:23
  big
• 49:23
  with
• 49:23
  me.
• 49:25
  Iron
• 49:25
  Man,
• 49:25
  Hulk,
• 49:26
  Thor,
• 49:26
  of
• 49:26
  course.
• 49:26
  I
• 49:27
  mean,
• 49:27
  Daredevil.
• 49:28
  Love
• 49:28
  him
• 49:29
  out
• 49:30
  of
• 49:30
  the
• 49:30
  Fantastic
• 49:30
  Four.
• 49:30
  Besides
• 49:31
  the
• 49:31
  thing.
• 49:32
  Like,
• 49:32
  I
• 49:32
  love
• 49:32
  Reed,
• 49:32
  but
• 49:33
  he's
• 49:33
  not
• 49:33
  really,
• 49:33
  like,
• 49:33
  big
• 49:34
  with
• 49:34
  me.
• 49:35
  But
• 49:35
  sue
• 49:36
  and
• 49:36
  Johnny,
• 49:37
  I
• 49:37
  both
• 49:37
  love
• 49:37
  them
• 49:38
  a
• 49:38
  lot
• 49:38
  more.
• 49:38
  Like,
• 49:39
  I
• 49:39
  think
• 49:39
  saying
• 49:39
  out
• 49:39
  loud
• 49:40
  read
• 49:40
  is
• 49:40
  my
• 49:40
  least
• 49:40
  favorite.
• 49:41
  I
• 49:41
  mean,
• 49:41
  least
• 49:41
  favorite
• 49:42
  of
• 49:42
  a
• 49:42
  group
• 49:42
  of
• 49:43
  heroes
• 49:43
  I
• 49:43
  really
• 49:43
  love.
• 49:44
  Not
• 49:44
  that
• 49:44
  I
• 49:44
  hate
• 49:44
  read
• 49:45
  or
• 49:45
  anything,
• 49:45
  but,
• 49:46
  like.
• 49:46
  Yeah,
• 49:46
  yeah,
• 49:46
  yeah.
• 49:47
  Trying
• 49:48
  to
• 49:48
  think
• 49:48
  of
• 49:48
  who
• 49:48
  else
• 49:49
  Dr.
• 49:49
  Doom
• 49:50
  would
• 49:50
  have
• 49:50
  definitely
• 49:50
  been.
• 49:51
  I
• 49:51
  had
• 49:51
  a
• 49:51
  hard
• 49:51
  time
• 49:52
  not
• 49:52
  putting
• 49:52
  him
• 49:52
  on
• 49:52
  my
• 49:52
  list.
• 49:54
  Magneto,
• 49:55
  one
• 49:55
  of
• 49:55
  the
• 49:56
  best.
• 49:56
  Yeah.
• 49:56
  Villain
• 49:57
  heroes
• 49:58
  of
• 49:58
  all
• 49:59
  time.
• 50:00
  Yeah.
• 50:00
  I'm
• 50:01
  sure
• 50:01
  there's
• 50:01
  a
• 50:01
  thousand
• 50:02
  more
• 50:02
  I
• 50:02
  could
• 50:02
  put
• 50:02
  there,
• 50:02
  but
• 50:03
  just
• 50:03
  for
• 50:03
  the
• 50:03
  sake
• 50:03
  of
• 50:04
  time,
• 50:04
  I'm
• 50:04
  going
• 50:04
  to
• 50:04
  say
• 50:04
  those
• 50:05
  for
• 50:05
  my
• 50:05
  honorable
• 50:05
  mentions.
• 50:06
  Yeah.
• 50:07
  Ditto
• 50:07
  on
• 50:07
  all
• 50:07
  of
• 50:08
  yours.
• 50:10
  Good
• 50:10
  job.
• 50:11
  All
• 50:11
  right.
• 50:12
  Thank
• 50:12
  you.
• 50:13
  So,
• 50:14
  all
• 50:14
  right,
• 50:14
  so
• 50:14
  those
• 50:15
  were
• 50:15
  our
• 50:15
  personal
• 50:15
  picks.
• 50:16
  What
• 50:16
  do
• 50:16
  you
• 50:16
  think?
• 50:17
  Who
• 50:17
  would
• 50:17
  you
• 50:17
  imagine
• 50:18
  would
• 50:18
  be,
• 50:18
  like,
• 50:18
  the
• 50:18
  top
• 50:19
  three
• 50:19
  mainstream,
• 50:20
  iconic
• 50:20
  Marvel
• 50:21
  characters
• 50:21
  at
• 50:21
  this
• 50:21
  point
• 50:21
  in
• 50:22
  time?
• 50:23
  I
• 50:23
  think
• 50:24
  Iron
• 50:24
  Man,
• 50:25
  Captain
• 50:25
  America,
• 50:28
  Hulk.
• 50:29
  Okay.
• 50:30
  I'd
• 50:30
  replace
• 50:31
  Hulk
• 50:31
  with
• 50:31
  Spider
• 50:32
  man,
• 50:32
  because
• 50:32
  back
• 50:32
  in
• 50:32
  the
• 50:32
  2000s,
• 50:33
  I
• 50:33
  would
• 50:33
  have
• 50:33
  said
• 50:33
  it
• 50:34
  was
• 50:34
  Spider
• 50:34
  Man,
• 50:34
  Hulk,
• 50:35
  Wolverine,
• 50:36
  because
• 50:37
  that's
• 50:37
  what
• 50:37
  most
• 50:37
  people
• 50:37
  would
• 50:38
  have
• 50:38
  known.
• 50:38
  But,
• 50:38
  like,
• 50:38
  with
• 50:38
  the
• 50:39
  mcu,
• 50:39
  I
• 50:40
  think.
• 50:40
  Yeah.
• 50:40
  Captain
• 50:41
  America
• 50:41
  and
• 50:41
  Iron
• 50:41
  Man.
• 50:41
  Absolutely.
• 50:43
  And
• 50:43
  Spider
• 50:43
  Man's
• 50:43
  always
• 50:44
  going
• 50:44
  to
• 50:44
  be
• 50:44
  up
• 50:44
  there,
• 50:44
  but,
• 50:44
  like,
• 50:44
  Hulk's
• 50:45
  not
• 50:45
  too
• 50:45
  far
• 50:45
  off.
• 50:46
  Yeah.
• 50:47
  Makes
• 50:47
  sense
• 50:48
  to
• 50:48
  me.
• 50:49
  So
• 50:50
  now
• 50:50
  that
• 50:50
  we've
• 50:50
  listed
• 50:51
  all
• 50:51
  these
• 50:51
  different
• 50:51
  characteristics
• 50:52
  of
• 50:52
  these
• 50:52
  characters,
• 50:52
  why
• 50:53
  don't
• 50:53
  we
• 50:53
  go
• 50:53
  ahead
• 50:53
  and
• 50:53
  say
• 50:53
  what
• 50:54
  traits?
• 50:54
  Like.
• 50:54
  Like,
• 50:55
  let's
• 50:55
  amalgam
• 50:56
  them
• 50:56
  all
• 50:57
  and
• 50:57
  emulate
• 50:58
  the
• 50:58
  ones
• 50:58
  that
• 50:58
  we
• 50:59
  want
• 50:59
  to.
• 50:59
  Yeah.
• 51:00
  So
• 51:00
  it's
• 51:01
  like
• 51:01
  the
• 51:01
  tenacity
• 51:05
  that
• 51:05
  we
• 51:05
  saw
• 51:06
  in
• 51:06
  the
• 51:06
  thing
• 51:07
  we
• 51:07
  discussed
• 51:08
  in
• 51:08
  the
• 51:08
  thing,
• 51:09
  the
• 51:10
  nobility
• 51:11
  and
• 51:11
  responsibility
• 51:12
  of
• 51:13
  T',
• 51:13
  Challa,
• 51:15
  the
• 51:16
  commitment
• 51:16
  to
• 51:17
  self
• 51:18
  from
• 51:18
  Dr.
• 51:19
  Doom.
• 51:22
  It
• 51:22
  doesn't
• 51:22
  have
• 51:22
  to
• 51:22
  be
• 51:22
  all
• 51:23
  of
• 51:23
  them.
• 51:23
  Just
• 51:23
  which
• 51:23
  ones
• 51:23
  you
• 51:24
  want
• 51:24
  to
• 51:24
  pick.
• 51:24
  Okay.
• 51:25
  That's
• 51:25
  it.
• 51:25
  Those
• 51:25
  are
• 51:26
  my
• 51:26
  top.
• 51:26
  Okay.
• 51:27
  Yeah.
• 51:28
  All
• 51:28
  right.
• 51:29
  I'm
• 51:30
  going
• 51:30
  to
• 51:30
  say
• 51:30
  I'm
• 51:31
  going
• 51:31
  to
• 51:31
  double
• 51:31
  on
• 51:31
  the
• 51:31
  tenacity
• 51:32
  for
• 51:32
  Ben
• 51:32
  Grimm.
• 51:34
  Now
• 51:34
  you've
• 51:34
  said
• 51:34
  it
• 51:34
  more.
• 51:35
  The
• 51:35
  more
• 51:35
  I
• 51:35
  like
• 51:35
  hearing
• 51:36
  it
• 51:36
  out
• 51:36
  loud.
• 51:37
  I
• 51:37
  think
• 51:37
  we
• 51:37
  need
• 51:38
  to
• 51:38
  be
• 51:38
  more
• 51:38
  tenacious
• 51:39
  in
• 51:39
  our
• 51:39
  lives
• 51:39
  and
• 51:40
  the
• 51:40
  struggles
• 51:40
  we
• 51:41
  face
• 51:41
  on
• 51:41
  an
• 51:41
  everyday
• 51:41
  basis.
• 51:43
  I'm
• 51:43
  going
• 51:43
  to
• 51:43
  put
• 51:44
  out
• 51:44
  the
• 51:44
  resourcefulness
• 51:45
  of
• 51:45
  Rick
• 51:46
  Jones
• 51:46
  to
• 51:46
  always
• 51:46
  be
• 51:46
  prepared.
• 51:47
  That's
• 51:47
  even
• 51:47
  better.
• 51:48
  Like
• 51:48
  you
• 51:48
  can
• 51:48
  be
• 51:48
  tenacious,
• 51:49
  but
• 51:49
  if
• 51:49
  you're
• 51:49
  not
• 51:49
  prepared,
• 51:50
  it's
• 51:50
  not
• 51:50
  going
• 51:50
  to
• 51:50
  work.
• 51:52
  Now
• 51:52
  we
• 51:52
  both
• 51:53
  pick
• 51:53
  Spider
• 51:53
  Man.
• 51:54
  Yeah.
• 51:55
  The
• 51:55
  responsibility
• 51:56
  is
• 51:56
  something
• 51:56
  that
• 51:56
  we
• 51:56
  should
• 51:57
  always
• 51:57
  be
• 51:57
  second
• 51:57
  guessing
• 51:58
  ourselves,
• 51:58
  not
• 51:58
  to
• 51:59
  cripple
• 51:59
  ourselves.
• 51:59
  But
• 52:00
  what
• 52:00
  are
• 52:00
  my
• 52:00
  motivations
• 52:01
  for
• 52:01
  doing
• 52:01
  what
• 52:01
  I'm
• 52:02
  doing
• 52:02
  and
• 52:03
  how
• 52:03
  can
• 52:03
  I
• 52:03
  do
• 52:03
  it
• 52:03
  in
• 52:03
  the
• 52:04
  most
• 52:04
  responsible
• 52:04
  way
• 52:05
  possible
• 52:06
  so
• 52:06
  that
• 52:07
  the
• 52:07
  most
• 52:07
  people
• 52:07
  are
• 52:08
  impacted
• 52:08
  by
• 52:08
  what
• 52:08
  I
• 52:09
  do?
• 52:10
  And
• 52:10
  of
• 52:10
  course,
• 52:11
  doom.
• 52:12
  Not
• 52:13
  talking
• 52:13
  of
• 52:13
  Christian
• 52:14
  in
• 52:14
  the
• 52:14
  third
• 52:14
  person,
• 52:15
  that'd
• 52:15
  be
• 52:15
  a
• 52:15
  good
• 52:15
  one
• 52:15
  to
• 52:16
  excise.
• 52:18
  I'm
• 52:19
  arrogant
• 52:19
  enough
• 52:19
  as
• 52:19
  it
• 52:19
  is.
• 52:20
  I
• 52:20
  can't
• 52:20
  be
• 52:20
  doing
• 52:20
  that,
• 52:21
  not
• 52:21
  giving
• 52:21
  myself
• 52:22
  a
• 52:22
  doctorate
• 52:22
  that
• 52:22
  I
• 52:23
  didn't
• 52:23
  earn.
• 52:23
  I
• 52:23
  could
• 52:24
  also
• 52:24
  put
• 52:24
  that
• 52:24
  on
• 52:24
  there.
• 52:28
  Yeah.
• 52:29
  With
• 52:29
  T'
• 52:29
  Challa
• 52:29
  2.
• 52:29
  Like
• 52:30
  the
• 52:30
  nobility
• 52:30
  you
• 52:30
  said.
• 52:30
  That's
• 52:31
  a
• 52:31
  perfect
• 52:32
  example
• 52:33
  of
• 52:34
  someone
• 52:34
  who
• 52:34
  was
• 52:35
  born
• 52:35
  with
• 52:35
  something
• 52:36
  using
• 52:36
  that
• 52:37
  to
• 52:37
  help
• 52:37
  others.
• 52:38
  That's
• 52:38
  a
• 52:39
  good
• 52:39
  way
• 52:39
  of
• 52:39
  putting
• 52:39
  it.
• 52:40
  All
• 52:40
  right,
• 52:40
  so
• 52:41
  that's
• 52:42
  all
• 52:42
  we
• 52:42
  had
• 52:42
  to
• 52:42
  say
• 52:42
  on
• 52:42
  our
• 52:43
  regular
• 52:43
  part
• 52:43
  of
• 52:43
  the
• 52:43
  episode
• 52:44
  today
• 52:44
  on
• 52:44
  our
• 52:44
  top
• 52:44
  three
• 52:45
  iconic
• 52:46
  Marvel
• 52:46
  characters.
• 52:46
  To
• 52:46
  us,
• 52:47
  if
• 52:47
  you
• 52:47
  guys
• 52:48
  have
• 52:48
  different
• 52:48
  suggestions
• 52:48
  you
• 52:48
  want
• 52:49
  to
• 52:49
  throw
• 52:49
  out,
• 52:49
  let
• 52:49
  us
• 52:50
  know.
• 52:50
  We'd
• 52:50
  love
• 52:50
  to
• 52:50
  hear,
• 52:50
  like,
• 52:51
  who
• 52:51
  your
• 52:51
  top
• 52:51
  three
• 52:51
  is.
• 52:52
  Like,
• 52:52
  you
• 52:52
  didn't
• 52:52
  talk
• 52:52
  about
• 52:53
  this
• 52:53
  person,
• 52:53
  Chris.
• 52:53
  You
• 52:54
  didn't
• 52:54
  talk
• 52:54
  about
• 52:54
  Blade.
• 52:54
  You
• 52:55
  love
• 52:55
  Blade.
• 52:55
  I
• 52:55
  forgot
• 52:55
  to
• 52:55
  say
• 52:56
  Blade
• 52:56
  earlier.
• 52:56
  He's
• 52:57
  pretty
• 52:57
  cool
• 52:57
  too.
• 52:59
  But
• 52:59
  we're
• 52:59
  gonna
• 53:00
  have
• 53:00
  a
• 53:00
  special
• 53:00
  bonus
• 53:00
  question
• 53:01
  here,
• 53:01
  and
• 53:02
  that
• 53:02
  is
• 53:02
  gonna
• 53:02
  be,
• 53:02
  if
• 53:02
  we
• 53:03
  had
• 53:03
  the
• 53:03
  opportunity
• 53:04
  to
• 53:04
  write
• 53:04
  the
• 53:05
  main
• 53:05
  comic
• 53:05
  for
• 53:05
  any
• 53:05
  Marvel
• 53:06
  character,
• 53:06
  who
• 53:07
  would
• 53:07
  it
• 53:07
  be
• 53:07
  and
• 53:08
  what
• 53:08
  stories
• 53:08
  would
• 53:08
  we
• 53:08
  like
• 53:09
  to
• 53:09
  tell
• 53:09
  with
• 53:09
  them?
• 53:09
  So
• 53:10
  if
• 53:10
  that's
• 53:10
  something
• 53:10
  that
• 53:10
  interests
• 53:11
  you,
• 53:11
  you
• 53:11
  can
• 53:11
  head
• 53:11
  over
• 53:12
  to
• 53:12
  fourth
• 53:13
  Wall
• 53:13
  and
• 53:13
  get
• 53:13
  it
• 53:13
  that
• 53:14
  way.
• 53:14
  We've
• 53:14
  got
• 53:15
  links
• 53:15
  down
• 53:15
  in
• 53:15
  the
• 53:15
  description
• 53:16
  below
• 53:16
  for
• 53:16
  you
• 53:16
  to
• 53:17
  check
• 53:17
  out
• 53:17
  over
• 53:17
  all
• 53:18
  the
• 53:18
  stuff
• 53:18
  we
• 53:18
  do
• 53:18
  over
• 53:18
  there.
• 53:19
  So,
• 53:20
  Jill,
• 53:20
  do
• 53:20
  you
• 53:20
  have
• 53:20
  a
• 53:20
  recomm
• 53:21
  audience
• 53:22
  to
• 53:22
  check
• 53:22
  out?
• 53:22
  Oh,
• 53:24
  Bonia,
• 53:25
  I
• 53:25
  just
• 53:25
  saw
• 53:25
  the
• 53:26
  movie.
• 53:26
  Bonia.
• 53:27
  I'm
• 53:27
  trying
• 53:27
  to
• 53:27
  catch
• 53:28
  all
• 53:28
  the
• 53:28
  movies
• 53:29
  that
• 53:29
  are
• 53:30
  going
• 53:30
  to
• 53:30
  be
• 53:30
  Oscar
• 53:30
  nominees
• 53:32
  and
• 53:32
  that
• 53:32
  was
• 53:32
  the
• 53:33
  one
• 53:33
  that
• 53:33
  was
• 53:33
  on
• 53:33
  my
• 53:33
  list.
• 53:34
  Whoa.
• 53:35
  It
• 53:35
  is
• 53:35
  a
• 53:35
  crazy
• 53:36
  wild
• 53:37
  ride.
• 53:37
  I
• 53:37
  definitely
• 53:38
  recommend
• 53:38
  people
• 53:38
  go
• 53:39
  see
• 53:39
  it
• 53:39
  or
• 53:40
  stream
• 53:40
  it
• 53:40
  at
• 53:40
  home.
• 53:40
  It's
• 53:40
  not
• 53:41
  in
• 53:41
  the
• 53:41
  theaters
• 53:41
  anymore.
• 53:42
  Okay,
• 53:43
  I'm
• 53:44
  going
• 53:44
  to
• 53:44
  recommend.
• 53:44
  I
• 53:45
  haven't
• 53:45
  finished
• 53:45
  it
• 53:45
  yet,
• 53:46
  but
• 53:46
  I'm
• 53:46
  really
• 53:46
  enjoying
• 53:47
  it.
• 53:47
  I
• 53:47
  just
• 53:48
  pretty
• 53:48
  much
• 53:48
  got
• 53:48
  done
• 53:48
  with
• 53:49
  act
• 53:49
  three,
• 53:50
  so
• 53:51
  I've
• 53:51
  beaten
• 53:51
  about
• 53:51
  a
• 53:51
  final
• 53:51
  balls,
• 53:52
  but
• 53:52
  there's
• 53:52
  in
• 53:52
  game
• 53:53
  stuff
• 53:53
  to
• 53:53
  clean
• 53:53
  up.
• 53:53
  Expedition
• 53:54
  33
• 53:56
  has
• 53:56
  been
• 53:56
  one
• 53:56
  of
• 53:56
  the
• 53:57
  greatest
• 53:57
  explorations
• 53:58
  of
• 53:58
  grief
• 53:58
  and
• 53:59
  trauma
• 53:59
  I've
• 53:59
  ever
• 53:59
  experienced
• 54:00
  in
• 54:01
  any
• 54:01
  way,
• 54:01
  shape
• 54:01
  or
• 54:02
  form.
• 54:02
  I
• 54:03
  was
• 54:03
  not
• 54:03
  expecting
• 54:03
  this
• 54:04
  and
• 54:04
  they
• 54:04
  blew
• 54:05
  me
• 54:05
  away.
• 54:05
  I
• 54:05
  mean,
• 54:06
  it's
• 54:06
  a
• 54:06
  great
• 54:06
  game.
• 54:07
  I
• 54:07
  suck
• 54:07
  at
• 54:07
  the
• 54:07
  parrying
• 54:08
  system
• 54:08
  because
• 54:08
  I'm
• 54:08
  old
• 54:08
  and
• 54:09
  my
• 54:09
  reflexes
• 54:09
  are
• 54:09
  bad.
• 54:10
  But
• 54:10
  you
• 54:10
  know
• 54:10
  what?
• 54:11
  It's
• 54:11
  still
• 54:11
  fun.
• 54:12
  And
• 54:12
  I
• 54:12
  think
• 54:12
  it
• 54:12
  has
• 54:12
  a
• 54:13
  lot
• 54:13
  to
• 54:13
  say
• 54:13
  that
• 54:13
  about,
• 54:14
  you
• 54:14
  know,
• 54:14
  the
• 54:14
  trauma
• 54:15
  we
• 54:15
  go
• 54:15
  through
• 54:15
  and
• 54:15
  the
• 54:16
  loss
• 54:16
  of
• 54:16
  a
• 54:16
  loved
• 54:16
  one.
• 54:16
  And
• 54:17
  I
• 54:17
  know
• 54:17
  that's
• 54:17
  that's
• 54:18
  technically
• 54:18
  spoilers,
• 54:18
  but
• 54:18
  I
• 54:19
  was
• 54:19
  vague
• 54:20
  enough
• 54:20
  to
• 54:20
  where
• 54:20
  no
• 54:20
  one
• 54:20
  can
• 54:21
  know
• 54:21
  what's
• 54:21
  going
• 54:21
  on.
• 54:22
  So
• 54:23
  thank
• 54:23
  you

  all
