- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about this.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I have to cut you off, but all right, so
- 0:03Speaker 2: let's get into topics TSM TSM. We haven't talked about
- 0:07Speaker 2: TSM in a while. So TSM is having a good years.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's fifty two week low, it's eighty four, one hundred
- 0:14Speaker 2: and eighty four dollars, fifty two weeks highs four hundred
- 0:17Speaker 2: and twenty dollars, hovering like about four hundred dollars right now.
- 0:20Speaker 2: So TSM has not been talked about as much as
- 0:23Speaker 2: like Micron or sand Disc. So TSM is TSM on
- 0:31Speaker 2: the verge of something historic.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I thinks, I mean, I felt like TSM we talked
- 0:37Speaker 3: about it so much that it was like, we have
- 0:38Speaker 3: to find some new companies to talk about, because oh, yes, right,
- 0:42Speaker 3: it's been the company. It's been my number one company
- 0:45Speaker 3: that in Amazon. I think since it started to show,
- 0:48Speaker 3: just because we know the role that it plays. I
- 0:50Speaker 3: think what we're seeing right now over the past week
- 0:52Speaker 3: or so, it's kind of like it hit this four
- 0:54Speaker 3: hundred mark and it almost felt like it might have
- 0:56Speaker 3: been its resistance. But what's happening is that they have
- 1:01Speaker 3: so much demand that they're trying to build the FABS
- 1:05Speaker 3: fast enough so they can need it, and so that
- 1:08Speaker 3: becomes a slight issue, so much so that they've had
- 1:11Speaker 3: to sign on other companies to help them with some
- 1:13Speaker 3: of the manufacturing. I know, we're trying to get the
- 1:15Speaker 3: FABS here in Arizona up and running. They're trying to
- 1:17Speaker 3: build out even more so inside of Taiwan. The geopolitical
- 1:20Speaker 3: threat is still there. TSM is at the core of it,
- 1:23Speaker 3: so much so last week that there was a report that
- 1:25Speaker 3: they said that we've talked.
- 1:27Speaker 1: About how the cognive AI works.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Right ASML makes the machines TSM bias and machines and
- 1:32Speaker 3: manufacturers for the rest of the world. They said, look,
- 1:35Speaker 3: we're trying to make the next machine ourselves, right Like
- 1:38Speaker 3: what ASML does is great, and they still have customers.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It's not the fall of the ASML by any means.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They'll still have their customers. But they're saying, look, we
- 1:46Speaker 3: might even need to be even more dependent on what
- 1:49Speaker 3: we can make, and so they're looking at the long
- 1:51Speaker 3: term five to ten years, Hey, we build the next
- 1:53Speaker 3: EUV machine for ourselves. That way we don't have to
- 1:56Speaker 3: spend four hundred million per machine to meet the man
- 1:58Speaker 3: and we can produce at the high level, they're not
- 2:01Speaker 3: going anywhere. In fact, if that story changes, then I
- 2:04Speaker 3: will come on market Moneys and it would be a
- 2:06Speaker 3: very different tone. But as long as he and Simon
- 2:08Speaker 3: said that the man is still at the highest levels,
- 2:12Speaker 3: the backlog is sort of the issue why it hasn't gone.
- 2:15Speaker 1: We've said this on here a bunch of times.
- 2:18Speaker 3: We wouldn't be surprised if it was a three hundred
- 2:19Speaker 3: dollars stock and here we are at four four hundred
- 2:23Speaker 3: that that's a company that doesn't go anywhere. Yes, we're
- 2:26Speaker 3: very aware of the geopolitical threat obviously with China and Taiwan,
- 2:31Speaker 3: but it's vital to the AI story.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It has to succeed in order for the space to succeed.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Okay, really quick to piggyback off that, can we stop saying?
- 2:48Speaker 4: In general, the companies that have gained one hundred and
- 2:51Speaker 4: thirty percent returns have not performed how they should. Like,
- 2:56Speaker 4: I know some of you are excited and this may
- 2:58Speaker 4: be your first year investing. This is not normal and
- 3:00Speaker 4: it's not going to continue. Here's what's happening.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You let that for a second, like that giving you.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Three years worth of games in one year, So when
- 3:09Speaker 4: the economy goes to shit, they can say, we gave
- 3:13Speaker 4: you the ETF, we gave you TSM, we give you
- 3:17Speaker 4: Micron if you haven't figured out a way to be
- 3:20Speaker 4: okay and financially viable after this run up, even in
- 3:23Speaker 4: private equity, and I'm seeing how many people that were
- 3:27Speaker 4: employees of open Ai elect to cash out now oppost
- 3:31Speaker 4: await in the IPO, I think is very telling. So
- 3:34Speaker 4: even if you're getting two hundred percent gains this year,
- 3:38Speaker 4: factor in if the market drops and we have a
- 3:41Speaker 4: rough year in twenty seven, you're gonna have to take
- 3:44Speaker 4: care of yourself for the next.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Two years off of this year's games.
- 3:47Speaker 4: That's why Richelle was like, hey, I'm conservative. We've seen
- 3:50Speaker 4: the story before. There's been a bunch of high flying
- 3:53Speaker 4: stocks that have won up three four hundred percent, and
- 3:56Speaker 4: an option as a result has won up seven hundred
- 3:59Speaker 4: percent in the early two thousands, and what happened a
- 4:02Speaker 4: year later, Tom to twenty twenty one had a hell
- 4:05Speaker 4: of a run up. Twenty twenty two came. I'm like,
- 4:08Speaker 4: they changed the definition of the recession, but the entire
- 4:11Speaker 4: markets still fell. You need a financial umbrella, so it's
- 4:15Speaker 4: great and that's why I posted yesterday and today no
- 4:18Speaker 4: luxury spending for the next two years.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And unless you've hit your freedom numbers or what about,
- 4:24Speaker 1: do what you want.
- 4:25Speaker 4: But I'm telling you the economy is shakier than ever.
- 4:29Speaker 4: And most people on social media that are reporting how
- 4:32Speaker 4: well they're doing their lying, we know all of them.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So I mean no, no, no AP slash for you.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I mean that that price point Xander said, this looks
- 4:45Speaker 4: like garbage. I said, listen to my brother, but that's
- 4:50Speaker 4: not a luxury price point for me. But shata listen.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Even with that, everyone's in competition, even them collaborate. Think
- 4:58Speaker 4: about this in the last three mon so we've got
- 5:00Speaker 4: a affordable MacBook and an affordable AP.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's telling that.
- 5:10Speaker 4: That is very telling about the timing of when these
- 5:13Speaker 4: collaborations are coming out.
- 5:16Speaker 5: So yeah, yeah, I think just the last point on TISM,
- 5:20Speaker 5: if it's up twenty six percent this year, if it
- 5:23Speaker 5: if it stopped this year, then traded like that would
- 5:26Speaker 5: be a good year, right. Twenty six percent return on
- 5:29Speaker 5: a on a company that large, a trillion dollar company,
- 5:32Speaker 5: is a great move. If you go span out from
- 5:35Speaker 5: year to date, it's up one hundred and seventeen. If
- 5:37Speaker 5: you look at the past five years, two hundred and
- 5:40Speaker 5: sixty percent, what do you want?
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so like having a trillion dollar company moved twenty percent,
- 5:45Speaker 3: it's toimes. That's a that's a really good year. But
- 5:48Speaker 3: the crazy part is that it's still part of the
- 5:49Speaker 3: growth story and it's going to continue. And I was
- 5:53Speaker 3: actually looking at the market caps of trillion dollar companies.
- 5:56Speaker 3: You know, we got thirteen right now. We started to
- 5:59Speaker 3: show that was none like we were there. So the
- 6:02Speaker 3: first one we're at thirteen now, Mike Fron. We watched
- 6:05Speaker 3: on Friday it hit seven hundred billion and went over
- 6:09Speaker 3: seventy hundred dollars a share.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Now up at eight.
- 6:12Speaker 3: It's that hit like this will probably be all likelihood
- 6:15Speaker 3: the next trillion dollar company.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So, I mean, just unprecedent at times,
