- 0:09Born in the shadows of a flickering light,
- 0:29Tiny hands reaching through the endless night.
- 0:33Dreams stitched together with a fragile thread.
- 0:38Whispers of hope in the words unsaid.
- 0:44Time spins the wheel. It's ruthless game.
- 0:47Every step forward feels the same.
- 0:51From the first breath drawn to the final flame.
- 0:54We're bound to the story. No one's a blame.
- 0:57Cradle to the grave, we rise, we fall.
- 1:01Echoes of laughter through it all.
- 1:04Dust on the boots, blood in the vein carrying the weight of joy
- 1:09and pain. Cradle to the grave.
- 1:11It's a long heart ride, no place to run, no place to hide through
- 1:17the tears and the love we save. Him during this difficult time.
- 1:32Here is that statement from the three doors down Front man,
- 1:35revealing the heartbreaking news to fans.
- 1:38Hey everybody, it's Brad from Three Doors Down.
- 1:40I hope you're having a great day today.
- 1:43Got some not so good news for you today.
- 1:46And so I'd been sick a couple of weeks ago and then went to the
- 1:50hospital and got a, got checked out and had actually got the
- 1:55diagnosis that I had a, a clear seal renal carcinoma that it
- 2:00testicides into my lungs. And and that's, it's stage 4.
- 2:06And that's not real good. But you know what?
- 2:09We, we serve a mighty God and he can over, he can overdo, he can
- 2:15overcome anything. So I have No Fear.
- 2:17I really sincerely am not scared of it at all.
- 2:21I bet it is going to force us to cancel our tour this summer and
- 2:26we're sorry for that. And I'd love for you to lift me
- 2:30up in prayer every chance you get.
- 2:32And I think it's time for me to maybe go listen to my to not my
- 2:38time a little bit, right? Thank you guys so much.
- 2:41God loves you, we love you. See you.
- 2:45This is so sad to hear. Brad's a great guy.
- 2:52Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Brett Keene and
- 2:55you're watching and listening to GOD TV Radio.
- 2:58I hope you're all having a blessed day out there.
- 3:01This is very sad news for Mr. Brad Arnold of Three Doors Down.
- 3:07I don't know how many of you out there are familiar with the
- 3:10band. They sung a hit single called
- 3:13Here Without You. It's one of my favorite songs my
- 3:17wife and I like to listen to. We just found out that he's got
- 3:22stored stage 4 cancer and he's in a lot of pain.
- 3:27And it's not just that it's pretty much a death sentence.
- 3:33But even if doctors and prayer and all that are able to manage
- 3:39helping him get through this where he can survive for many
- 3:42more years, it's going to end up causing damage to his lungs.
- 3:46And as you know, he's a lead vocalist, so it will most likely
- 3:51determine his destiny and fate whenever it comes to music.
- 3:55But whether music stops for him or not, and I know how important
- 4:00it is as a musician, realizing that, hey, you know, I, I'll get
- 4:05to survive for many more years, but I won't be able to do one of
- 4:08the things that I love and put in my heart and time into.
- 4:13It's devastating. It's almost like a death
- 4:16sentence on itself, Anyone who's involved with music or something
- 4:20creative. And to be having it taken away
- 4:23like that is extremely rough. But I continue to encourage
- 4:28people to pray for him. He clearly believes in God and
- 4:32believes that God can produce miracles, and I hope that that
- 4:39is the case. This in no way is to discourage
- 4:43anyone out there that is sick for Mr. Brad Arnold himself.
- 4:49I sometimes wish obviously, that that was the case, that a
- 4:54miracle could happen and actually save a person from some
- 5:00of the the sad, terrible issues that happened in this world.
- 5:03But sometimes, whenever it comes to time itself, there are times
- 5:10where God chooses to go a different direction with it.
- 5:14Sometimes he decides it's time for us to leave the world, time
- 5:18for us to put down our physical shackles and and join Him in the
- 5:25afterlife spiritually as a soul. It's hard even for a person of
- 5:31faith to accept that. A lot of non believers think
- 5:35that it's just easy to believe in God and believe everything's
- 5:40going to be OK. We have faith that things are
- 5:43going to be OK. Sometimes, at least in this
- 5:46world they're not. And in the Bible, we've never
- 5:50been promised that we're going to get physical eternal life
- 5:55while here on earth. So it's a choice we all have to
- 6:00make at some point in time to decide, do we want to be with
- 6:04God? Do we want to accept God?
- 6:06Do we want to accept His commandments and His laws?
- 6:10Do we obey God because in order to be with Him, we have to trust
- 6:15in what He's telling us to do. It's obvious Mr. Brad Arnold
- 6:20believes very strongly and believes so strongly that he's
- 6:25willing to accept any prayers that he gets out there.
- 6:28And I hope that it works out. I, I hope that God's got more
- 6:33plans for him on the earth because I believe that his music
- 6:37and his message moves people. I think it's a his creativity
- 6:42has opened the hearts and minds of many young people out there
- 6:47to reconsider their views whenever it comes to theology
- 6:51and God. And I want you all to notice
- 6:56something to when you hear people talking about God, you
- 7:02can always tell what's most important to them, especially
- 7:06whenever they're at the time of need.
- 7:09They don't pray to Christianity, They don't pray to a specific
- 7:14religion. People pray directly to God.
- 7:18They don't say to themselves when they wake up in the morning
- 7:21and they find that they're sick or having a bad day.
- 7:24They don't say I need to find the Pope immediately, I need to
- 7:28jump into a confession booth, I need to do this, I need to do
- 7:31that. In the end, everybody knows that
- 7:34if you want to talk to God, you got to go to God directly.
- 7:39No one thinks about anything else besides that.
- 7:43And anytime someone thinks of love or they think of death,
- 7:47they think about the beginning and end, the alpha, the Omega,
- 7:51they're always considering God. Well, Brand, Brad Arnold, my
- 7:56prayers go out to you and your family.
- 7:59I understand that it's not just you struggling, but it's also
- 8:02those who love you, which are millions.
- 8:05But as much as I'm sure you care about your fans, you care more
- 8:10about your family members and those that you'd be leaving
- 8:14behind. But whatever happens, you have
- 8:18created a legacy and your family knows that with people who love
- 8:26you. They know that you've imprinted
- 8:28yourself on the universe. I pray that you get well.
- 8:34God bless.
