  And so I'd been sick a couple of weeks ago and then went to the

  hospital and got a, got checked out and had actually got the

  diagnosis that I had a, a clear seal renal carcinoma that it

  testicides into my lungs. And and that's, it's stage 4.

  And that's not real good. But you know what?

  We, we serve a mighty God and he can over, he can overdo, he can
• 2:15
  overcome anything. So I have No Fear.

  I really sincerely am not scared of it at all.

  I bet it is going to force us to cancel our tour this summer and
• 2:26
  we're sorry for that. And I'd love for you to lift me
• 2:30
  up in prayer every chance you get.

  And I think it's time for me to maybe go listen to my to not my
• 2:38

  This is very sad news for Mr. Brad Arnold of Three Doors Down.

  I don't know how many of you out there are familiar with the

  band. They sung a hit single called
• 3:13
  Here Without You. It's one of my favorite songs my
• 3:17
  wife and I like to listen to. We just found out that he's got
• 3:22
  stored stage 4 cancer and he's in a lot of pain.
• 3:27
  And it's not just that it's pretty much a death sentence.
• 3:33
  But even if doctors and prayer and all that are able to manage
• 3:39
  helping him get through this where he can survive for many
• 3:42
  more years, it's going to end up causing damage to his lungs.
• 3:46
  And as you know, he's a lead vocalist, so it will most likely
• 3:51
  determine his destiny and fate whenever it comes to music.
• 3:55
  But whether music stops for him or not, and I know how important
• 4:00
  it is as a musician, realizing that, hey, you know, I, I'll get
• 4:05
  to survive for many more years, but I won't be able to do one of
• 4:08
  the things that I love and put in my heart and time into.
• 4:13
  It's devastating. It's almost like a death
• 4:16
  sentence on itself, Anyone who's involved with music or something
• 4:20
  creative. And to be having it taken away
• 4:23
  like that is extremely rough. But I continue to encourage
• 4:28
  people to pray for him. He clearly believes in God and
• 4:32
  believes that God can produce miracles, and I hope that that
• 4:39
  is the case. This in no way is to discourage
• 4:43
  anyone out there that is sick for Mr. Brad Arnold himself.
• 4:49
  I sometimes wish obviously, that that was the case, that a
• 4:54
  miracle could happen and actually save a person from some
• 5:00
  of the the sad, terrible issues that happened in this world.

  But sometimes, whenever it comes to time itself, there are times
• 5:10
  where God chooses to go a different direction with it.
• 5:14
  Sometimes he decides it's time for us to leave the world, time
• 5:18
  for us to put down our physical shackles and and join Him in the
• 5:25
  afterlife spiritually as a soul. It's hard even for a person of
• 5:31
  faith to accept that. A lot of non believers think
• 5:35
  that it's just easy to believe in God and believe everything's
• 5:40
  going to be OK. We have faith that things are
• 5:43
  going to be OK. Sometimes, at least in this
• 5:46
  world they're not. And in the Bible, we've never
• 5:50
  been promised that we're going to get physical eternal life
• 5:55
  while here on earth. So it's a choice we all have to
• 6:00
  make at some point in time to decide, do we want to be with
• 6:04
  God? Do we want to accept God?
• 6:06
  Do we want to accept His commandments and His laws?
• 6:10
  Do we obey God because in order to be with Him, we have to trust
• 6:15
  in what He's telling us to do. It's obvious Mr. Brad Arnold
• 6:20
  believes very strongly and believes so strongly that he's
• 6:25
  willing to accept any prayers that he gets out there.
• 6:28
  And I hope that it works out. I, I hope that God's got more
• 6:33
  plans for him on the earth because I believe that his music
• 6:37
  and his message moves people. I think it's a his creativity
• 6:42
  has opened the hearts and minds of many young people out there
• 6:47
  to reconsider their views whenever it comes to theology
• 6:51
  and God. And I want you all to notice
• 6:56
  something to when you hear people talking about God, you
• 7:02
  can always tell what's most important to them, especially
• 7:06
  whenever they're at the time of need.
• 7:09
  They don't pray to Christianity, They don't pray to a specific
• 7:14
  religion. People pray directly to God.
• 7:18
  They don't say to themselves when they wake up in the morning
• 7:21
  and they find that they're sick or having a bad day.
• 7:24
  They don't say I need to find the Pope immediately, I need to
• 7:28
  jump into a confession booth, I need to do this, I need to do
• 7:31
  that. In the end, everybody knows that
• 7:34
  if you want to talk to God, you got to go to God directly.
• 7:39
  No one thinks about anything else besides that.
• 7:43
  And anytime someone thinks of love or they think of death,
• 7:47
  they think about the beginning and end, the alpha, the Omega,
• 7:51
  they're always considering God. Well, Brand, Brad Arnold, my
• 7:56
  prayers go out to you and your family.
• 7:59
  I understand that it's not just you struggling, but it's also
• 8:02
  those who love you, which are millions.
• 8:05
  But as much as I'm sure you care about your fans, you care more
• 8:10
  about your family members and those that you'd be leaving
• 8:14
  behind. But whatever happens, you have
• 8:18
  created a legacy and your family knows that with people who love
• 8:26
  you. They know that you've imprinted
• 8:28
  yourself on the universe. I pray that you get well.
