- 0:46Speaker 3: Guys, Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being here, Brian and Parisa,
- 0:50Speaker 1: thank you so I want to I want to say
- 0:51Speaker 1: this first of all, love the new look.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I love where you're going with this a lot
- 0:57Speaker 4: of shade. I figured I'll just stay in.
- 0:59Speaker 1: The embraces, keep the hat, keep the hat, keep the
- 1:02Speaker 1: glasses on. So Parisa, you roll into Paradise. First of all,
- 1:06Speaker 1: let's point out something here. Parisa is a fellow Detroiter. Yes,
- 1:09Speaker 1: represent represent So I'm gonna make sure I take care
- 1:12Speaker 1: of you in this interview. Okay, But I do have
- 1:15Speaker 1: a goal for this interview, and I'm going to state
- 1:17Speaker 1: it right up front. I really want you guys back together.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna figure it out. I'm getting to the bottom
- 1:24Speaker 1: of this today and I'm creating. I'm renewing a love connection. Okay,
- 1:28Speaker 1: because I liked you guys. There's a couple on the show.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So when Parisa and Ali Joe roll into the Paradise.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Island, it is like a James Bond movie.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Right, you guys are coming in, And I remember I
- 1:42Speaker 1: laughed about this out loud.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I'm like, dude, Brian's head was on a swivel.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It was just like a media like honest to god,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and it was like what And it was probably saying
- 1:51Speaker 1: what we were all thinking at home, like who in
- 1:52Speaker 1: the hell is this? Where are they coming from what
- 1:54Speaker 1: is going on, and you guys just sort of took
- 1:56Speaker 1: the island by storm, scared the hell out of everyone
- 1:58Speaker 1: that was already there, right. I think you were one
- 2:00Speaker 1: of the first like new uh well you were the
- 2:03Speaker 1: first new women that came out.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Of the other anywhere.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and and so it just sort of like just
- 2:07Speaker 1: really sent some ripples right through the through the beach
- 2:10Speaker 1: obviously created a whole storyline for our boy Brian here.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, you were just getting shredded.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But I mean it has to be it has to
- 2:20Speaker 1: be interesting because part of the beauty of Bachelor in
- 2:24Speaker 1: Paradise is that people go there to make love connections
- 2:27Speaker 1: and meet each other and everything, but there are also
- 2:29Speaker 1: always new people coming, and so it's like, yes, you
- 2:33Speaker 1: want to get to know the people that are there,
- 2:34Speaker 1: but if someone comes in that is more your speed,
- 2:38Speaker 1: right You You either have to make it, you have
- 2:40Speaker 1: to make a choice. Someone's either going to get their
- 2:42Speaker 1: feelings hurt or you know whatever. And Brian, I mean
- 2:45Speaker 1: you you kind of really drew a line in the sand.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys notice why I did
- 2:49Speaker 1: their island and you do a line of the sand
- 2:51Speaker 1: right away you're like, okay, uh hi, Prisa, I'm Brian.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I mean it was immediate for you, it wasn't it.
- 2:56Speaker 4: It was paradise paradise, And like, I don't understand what
- 3:00Speaker 4: people don't understand about that, right. It's we're in week
- 3:03Speaker 4: two and it's like opportunities are open, and like people
- 3:06Speaker 4: that are getting locked down immediately, like god bless Spencer
- 3:09Speaker 4: and Jess you know, lockdown immedia and love it first sight.
- 3:11Speaker 4: But aside from that, like like this isn't like let's
- 3:14Speaker 4: explore our options here, right, Yeah, So I didn't really
- 3:19Speaker 4: understand you know, the viewers' comments so to speak, right,
- 3:23Speaker 4: but you know, it's it's our own journey and we
- 3:26Speaker 4: have to live.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It, right. Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 5: I made sure too, Like I knew, you know, stepping
- 3:31Speaker 5: foot onto that beach that there were probably already relationships established,
- 3:35Speaker 5: and so that was my mindset of you know, like
- 3:39Speaker 5: I'm gonna kind of scope everything out. I don't want
- 3:41Speaker 5: to go after someone who's like really locked in, like Spencer,
- 3:43Speaker 5: like that's no point there. But I I kind of
- 3:49Speaker 5: wanted to allow Brian to handle all of that because
- 3:53Speaker 5: it's like not I know, I'm sorry, Like it's not
- 3:56Speaker 5: my place to like now be the third one in,
- 4:00Speaker 5: you know, their personal conversation of like, okay, so what's up,
- 4:03Speaker 5: Like how's this going? You know, like I wanted him
- 4:05Speaker 5: to take care of all of that that was his
- 4:08Speaker 5: it was your business, yeah, you know, yeah, and then
- 4:13Speaker 5: just see what came next out of it.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know, I think that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's almost the only way you can handle it, right,
- 4:20Speaker 1: Like what are you gonna do? Go walking over to
- 4:21Speaker 1: Zoe and be like, Hi, I'm here now, Yeah, you're
- 4:24Speaker 1: gonna do that, I know.
- 4:24Speaker 6: And I was actually like watching everything back.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I remember you when Ellie Joe and I stepped onto
- 4:30Speaker 5: the beach, you know, we're kind of like talking everybody,
- 4:33Speaker 5: and then we get pulled into a conversation with Zoe
- 4:36Speaker 5: and actually, yeah, and you know we're talking, we're asking like,
- 4:42Speaker 5: what's you know low down here?
- 4:44Speaker 6: Fill us in?
- 4:45Speaker 5: And it was funny because before going into that conversation,
- 4:49Speaker 5: I had spoken Ellie Joe. I'm like, you know, I
- 4:50Speaker 5: have my eye on Brian. I think he's really cute.
- 4:52Speaker 5: I want to get to know him.
- 4:53Speaker 6: What about you, Ellie Joe? And she was like, oh,
- 4:55Speaker 6: you know, I don't know yet.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Maybe Dale, maybe Jonathan and I'm like, okay. So we
- 4:59Speaker 5: go into the com versation and the first thing is
- 5:01Speaker 5: always like yeah, like I'm talking to Brian and Dale
- 5:04Speaker 5: and then I look at Eli Joe and I'm like, oh, wonderful.
- 5:08Speaker 1: But didn't she take it one step for like, so
- 5:09Speaker 1: stay away from them, Yeah, don't touch.
- 5:12Speaker 5: And I look and then she goes, who are you
- 5:14Speaker 5: girls looking at? And I look at l Joe mcking nobody.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Yeah, don't what.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Are you going to do?
- 5:18Speaker 7: I'm like, there's just no reaction to her. Was hilarious.
- 5:21Speaker 7: You and Ali Joe both are.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Like, yeah, yeah, it was such good.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You know. The union that's our franchise is that the
- 5:28Speaker 1: fact that is like the single greatest editor editors in
- 5:31Speaker 1: the world and they produce for Romance so well. So
- 5:34Speaker 1: I mean they always have, you know, and it's like
- 5:35Speaker 1: one of those things it's like, oh, so stay away
- 5:37Speaker 1: from my man.
- 5:38Speaker 3: It's like all of a sudden, it's like.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Oh, okay, you know, yeah, I'm not going to do
- 5:42Speaker 1: anything here on the beach, right.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So did you guys feel an instant connection like with
- 5:47Speaker 1: the two of you just it seemed like you did,
- 5:49Speaker 1: like you almost kind of like gravitated to right and
- 5:51Speaker 1: that then you went on that date right where you
- 5:54Speaker 1: were like like the bar games that was pretty hot.
- 5:58Speaker 7: That was awesome Games, well was it was?
- 6:00Speaker 6: Actually, it was so funny. The car ride to the date.
- 6:03Speaker 5: I guess we weren't supposed to be left unsupervised.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And that goal the entire time.
- 6:10Speaker 6: We just talked the whole time.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I'm not getting to know him, not thinking like, oh,
- 6:14Speaker 5: we should probably save this or on camera during the date.
- 6:17Speaker 6: But I mean we had an hour an.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Hour in the car getting to know each other and
- 6:23Speaker 5: I'm finding out so much like he loves music, I
- 6:26Speaker 5: love to sing, and I'm like, oh my god, wow,
- 6:28Speaker 5: And it was amazing. Then we get to the date
- 6:30Speaker 5: and we're having fun, and then you know, we're set
- 6:32Speaker 5: at a table to talk and I'm like, I already
- 6:33Speaker 5: know him.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I love this. This is like I don't know what
- 6:36Speaker 6: I like.
- 6:37Speaker 5: I don't know, like I had my mind made up
- 6:38Speaker 5: already at that point, but everybody was off camera.
- 6:41Speaker 7: It was a great car ride.
- 6:42Speaker 4: We went over like so much and it was already
- 6:45Speaker 4: like we were just like connected.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Already on the car ride.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Well it's not your fault.
- 6:49Speaker 1: They didn't film it, right, I mean, maybe they just knew,
- 6:52Speaker 1: like I know, that there's something here, right, and so
- 6:55Speaker 1: we're going.
- 6:55Speaker 3: To keep minding this because I think that's good.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So, you know, I I noticed today just to kind
- 7:02Speaker 1: of let let the cat out of the bag. Earlier today,
- 7:04Speaker 1: you guys said that you weren't currently together, and you said,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you know, I think I think Parsa said it very nicely.
- 7:11Speaker 3: You said, well, life just kind of got in the way, right,
- 7:14Speaker 3: And I get it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean, Brian, you've been pretty candid about the fact
- 7:17Speaker 1: that you were kind of fully invested in your restaurant
- 7:19Speaker 1: and getting that off the ground and and everything, and
- 7:21Speaker 1: that can take a lot of time.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I mean, the restaurant industry is no easy feet.
- 7:24Speaker 7: It's awful, man.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but but you know, it's what you love to do,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and and you know, so there's gonna be those times.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Since you've been back here, I mean you had to sit,
- 7:32Speaker 1: like you know, I think the chairs might have been
- 7:34Speaker 1: a quarter of an inch apart all day, right, you
- 7:37Speaker 1: guys sat there for several hours. I mean I forced
- 7:40Speaker 1: you to sit really close on this couch. Is this
- 7:42Speaker 1: something that makes you, guys kind of feel a little reconnected?
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean, is there anything that you've like you noticed that,
- 7:48Speaker 1: you know, oh yeah, these are things I really liked
- 7:49Speaker 1: about him that maybe you know, got a little off kilter,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you know, after being in feathers and stuff on a
- 7:55Speaker 1: whole day and a long day for everybody.
- 7:57Speaker 3: But I mean, it was it ever like that moment
- 7:59Speaker 3: where you're like, you actually do.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Have fun with this guy, and and where you're thinking, man,
- 8:04Speaker 1: you know this is this is a lot of fun.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I enjoy spending time with her.
- 8:08Speaker 4: We we went about four weeks without speaking, Yeah, and
- 8:15Speaker 4: we saw each other last night and the lobby and
- 8:19Speaker 4: she wouldn't make eye contacts with me.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Yeah, And I was like, let me play it for
- 8:25Speaker 7: a chat.
- 8:25Speaker 1: It could have been hard because you can't see your
- 8:26Speaker 1: eyes with those damn shades, do you know? She doesn't. No,
- 8:33Speaker 1: So so it was like you got so you you
- 8:35Speaker 1: you kind of you. You just decided to just saddle
- 8:37Speaker 1: up and be like, hey, can we please talk?
- 8:38Speaker 7: It had to be done.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And it's like once we started talking to each
- 8:42Speaker 4: other again, it was like like now, like I totally
- 8:46Speaker 4: realized why I was attracted to this person and why
- 8:49Speaker 4: I had a connection with this person. And a piece
- 8:52Speaker 4: of it said and a piece of it is very
- 8:55Speaker 4: very real.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I can see how Like in paradise it
- 9:02Speaker 5: is such a fixed environment where you don't have any
- 9:05Speaker 5: of the outside noise to get in the way.
- 9:08Speaker 7: Yep.
- 9:09Speaker 5: So like in a perfect world, you have paradise to
- 9:13Speaker 5: build that foundation in the relationship and then afterwards you
- 9:17Speaker 5: take it outside and then you allow it to grow
- 9:20Speaker 5: even more in.
- 9:21Speaker 3: The real world.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:22Speaker 5: But I guess in our circumstance, it was just the
- 9:27Speaker 5: different schedules his career, my career. It was just all
- 9:33Speaker 5: so much, and then on top of that the long
- 9:35Speaker 5: distance where it just was not the right environment for
- 9:39Speaker 5: our relationship to grow.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Sure, okay, I have to put you on to these
- 9:50Speaker 2: leggings I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this brand
- 9:53Speaker 2: called Tona, and get this, the designer behind them also
- 9:58Speaker 2: created Lulu Lemon, and so they know what they're doing.
- 10:02Speaker 2: These leggings are next level think butterysoft, super flattering and
- 10:08Speaker 2: very comfortable, but they're also very supportive in the right places.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So I started wearing them when the kids and I
- 10:15Speaker 2: go out to play, and now I'm basically living in
- 10:18Speaker 2: them twenty four seven. And here's what makes them even better.
- 10:22Speaker 2: With every payer you buy it helps fund a mental
- 10:26Speaker 2: health counseling session for a teen in need. Isn't that

- 11:15Speaker 1: awaits at Wetzels dot com. You know, I mean, and
- 11:21Speaker 1: there's something that you said too, Like, you guys were
- 11:23Speaker 1: in Paradise for a couple of weeks there and it
- 11:26Speaker 1: wasn't the easiest.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Time for Brian, right.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I mean, every time you turned around, you know you're
- 11:31Speaker 1: kind of stepping into it a little bit, not necessarily
- 11:34Speaker 1: as a viewer. So you were doing the right thing
- 11:37Speaker 1: sometimes and you're getting grief for it, you know, And
- 11:39Speaker 1: so in those circumstances that probably made it hard for
- 11:42Speaker 1: you guys too, because there's like conflict and you're hearing
- 11:44Speaker 1: about it and he's feeling attacked, I'm sure at times,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and it's like, what the hell can I I can't
- 11:49Speaker 1: do anything right? You know, And granted I get it,
- 11:52Speaker 1: there can be personalities that you'll come into play, but
- 11:56Speaker 1: now having some time to look back on it and
- 11:58Speaker 1: spending time like you are here where it's sort of
- 12:00Speaker 1: a little lighter, not as aggressive. Five hundred grand's not
- 12:03Speaker 1: up for grabs, you know, there's not people getting engaged
- 12:06Speaker 1: all over the place. I mean, I feel like I
- 12:09Speaker 1: sense that there's a connection here. I'm just saying I
- 12:12Speaker 1: feel like, perhaps, you know Detroits in New York.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I did that. I did that for three years with
- 12:18Speaker 3: a relationship.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna say, you know, it ended up
- 12:22Speaker 1: working out all right, you know, And then I did
- 12:25Speaker 1: you tried to La even worse.
- 12:27Speaker 7: It's terrible.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Yes, when it's the right person, you have those feelings
- 12:34Speaker 5: for them, you will do anything to make it work.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but sometimes you got to go through challenges to
- 12:40Speaker 1: get to the other side to realize that right person
- 12:41Speaker 1: might be right under your nose. I'm just saying, Okay,
- 12:44Speaker 1: enough about my pontificating here.
- 12:47Speaker 3: So I thought it was interesting tonight when we were
- 12:52Speaker 3: in the.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Earlier interviews and stuff where Kathy where Brian you you
- 12:58Speaker 1: got a little fired up a cat right, and you said, uh,
- 13:02Speaker 1: you know, you basically said to her, You're like, you know, well,
- 13:05Speaker 1: if it wasn't about the money, why'd you vote us off? Right?
- 13:07Speaker 1: And I thought it was really interesting because I love
- 13:10Speaker 1: Kathy and Keith like I adore them. I've done a
- 13:12Speaker 1: ton of events with them, interviewed them both a billion times,
- 13:16Speaker 1: and I loved Kathy's kind of she has like a maternal,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you know, nurturing thing for you. And it was interesting
- 13:24Speaker 1: cause I asked her earlier, I said, you know, well
- 13:25Speaker 1: that when that popped up, you know, what was that
- 13:28Speaker 1: all about? Because we didn't really see that on camera,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you know, And she even said she's like, She's like, well,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I thought that if they got out of that environment
- 13:34Speaker 1: that they might be able to make it work. She's like,
- 13:36Speaker 1: because I did like certain things about their relationship. And
- 13:41Speaker 1: so when you got Kathy's vote of confidence, I mean,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you know, you got another.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Stuff in there.
- 13:44Speaker 1: But I think it's really sweet that you guys see
- 13:46Speaker 1: and you guys gave each other a big hug out there,
- 13:48Speaker 1: and like, we're so excited. She was crying when she
- 13:50Speaker 1: saw you. I mean, there's something special for you too
- 13:53Speaker 1: as a friend.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Isn't there.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Yeah, when we keep in touch, we talk all the time,
- 13:57Speaker 5: even during that time in Paradise when all this was happening,
- 14:00Speaker 5: Like she was telling me way before the voting, And
- 14:04Speaker 5: I'm not sure. I don't know if I've shared all
- 14:08Speaker 5: of this with you during that time there, but I was.
- 14:10Speaker 5: I would go to her all the time, and I
- 14:12Speaker 5: would vent to her.
- 14:14Speaker 6: I would ask for advice.
- 14:16Speaker 5: She knew I wasn't doing well, and I told her too,
- 14:20Speaker 5: I mean me personally, I didn't sign up for this paradise.
- 14:24Speaker 5: I sign up for the old paradise. I wanted that
- 14:26Speaker 5: time alone on the beach, at the possible engagement at
- 14:30Speaker 5: the end. And so now with the money mixed in
- 14:32Speaker 5: and the stress of voting, I couldn't take it. I
- 14:35Speaker 5: really couldn't do it anymore. And I told her, I'm like,
- 14:37Speaker 5: I'm not here for the money. I love the challenges.
- 14:40Speaker 5: The challenges I thought were so good for us because
- 14:43Speaker 5: we worked together, and it just also like again I
- 14:48Speaker 5: kept saying, it shed all these layers for us.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And I wanted you to be a good team too.
- 14:53Speaker 3: You know you really did.
- 14:54Speaker 5: It was so it was so funny. The challenge is
- 14:57Speaker 5: something the walkie talkie want.
- 14:58Speaker 6: I thought that was so hilarious.
- 15:01Speaker 7: We were very patient with each other.
- 15:02Speaker 6: We're very patient.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Well, I heard working half the time, and we caught
- 15:07Speaker 3: onto that.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Quick, and so I would be I would the whole
- 15:09Speaker 6: Bangal thing. I was like, Bengal be as in, boy.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Bengal, what are you talking about?
- 15:23Speaker 7: I got it?
- 15:24Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, Bangel, Okay, so you learned something new.
- 15:27Speaker 5: It was hilarious and like I totally forgot that that
- 15:29Speaker 5: challenge was timed.
- 15:30Speaker 6: And then they're like, okay, times up.
- 15:31Speaker 5: I'm like, oh we were times Like I totally it
- 15:33Speaker 5: was just so much fun.
- 15:34Speaker 7: We did have so much fun.
- 15:37Speaker 5: So I wish Paradise, the whole promise of it. I
- 15:41Speaker 5: wish it changed. I wish it was just the challenges
- 15:44Speaker 5: to bring us closer and you know, to overcome obstacles
- 15:47Speaker 5: together instead of the whole voting.
- 15:49Speaker 6: The voting that that's stress. That was just horrible.
- 15:52Speaker 5: And but yeah, I told all that to Kathy, and
- 15:56Speaker 5: I told her that like, I can't take it.
- 15:58Speaker 6: I can't do it anymore. I don't want the money.
- 15:59Speaker 5: And but that was again there's other couples that are
- 16:02Speaker 5: there for the money, and they are there for all
- 16:04Speaker 5: of that. So she told me, she was like, you know,
- 16:07Speaker 5: like I see something between you guys, and this environment
- 16:10Speaker 5: here might break you.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It s could be caustic, right, I mean, some of
- 16:14Speaker 1: those moments can like fuse people together and some of
- 16:17Speaker 1: them can split them apart. It might have nothing to
- 16:19Speaker 1: do with what you could have outside of that environment.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You know, it's just saying, guys, just one more time
- 16:24Speaker 1: and then and the thing on the head there, So
- 16:29Speaker 1: to that point, you know, when you're talking about the voting.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I remember this episode or the scene of the episode,
- 16:33Speaker 1: which I thought was hysterical by the way, when Sean
- 16:36Speaker 1: is out there throwing together the Parliament paradise and it
- 16:40Speaker 1: looked like Brian, it looked like you were from like
- 16:43Speaker 1: me to Easton like five feet away, and he's like,
- 16:45Speaker 1: so here's a deal. We're going to vote off Brian
- 16:47Speaker 1: Frieze and You're like, I'm like, does he not see
- 16:50Speaker 1: him there? But the way that was shot, I'm like what.
- 16:56Speaker 6: And I'm like, whoa, no, no, yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I mean it was kind of shot sucking.
- 17:00Speaker 1: How close he you seemed like you were like it
- 17:03Speaker 1: looked like you were totally listening in.
- 17:04Speaker 7: I was from Oh God.
- 17:07Speaker 3: So it wasn't as it was as bad as I
- 17:09Speaker 3: thought it.
- 17:10Speaker 5: A few times. It wasn't just that scene. It happened
- 17:12Speaker 5: a few times with him.
- 17:14Speaker 7: Come take a walk with me.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 3: No, I loved it.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I loved him talking to him and he's just lying
- 17:19Speaker 4: to my face and I'm like, I love it.
- 17:20Speaker 3: They're flashing back.
- 17:21Speaker 4: He's like, no, yeah, Brian, Yeah, not much I could
- 17:27Speaker 4: really do about it.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Well, you know, we talked about that a little bit
- 17:30Speaker 1: tonight too. I think, you know, Parsa, you could tell
- 17:33Speaker 1: that you were you. You had some things you wanted
- 17:36Speaker 1: to say tonight, and you said them without creating more conflict,
- 17:42Speaker 1: which I think is a pretty interesting, remarkable trait. Right.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's like, and I think also Brian, you in particular, Uh,
- 17:51Speaker 1: there were a couple of moments where I'm sure you
- 17:53Speaker 1: wanted to fly off the handle, and you know, I mean,
- 17:55Speaker 1: come on, you're in New Yorker, buddy, New Yorkers in
- 17:57Speaker 1: Detroiter's were we're not that far apart, but action times
- 18:00Speaker 1: on things, and but you held it back too, And
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm interested if if that was something that you liked
- 18:07Speaker 1: seeing in him when he you know, because I'm sure
- 18:09Speaker 1: there were some buttons that you knew were being pressed
- 18:11Speaker 1: by things. Some people were saying he didn't take the bait,
- 18:14Speaker 1: which you know can happen. Was that something that you
- 18:17Speaker 1: found to be a redeeming quality because I know, like
- 18:20Speaker 1: you guys said, you didn't talk for like a month
- 18:21Speaker 1: and then you came in here and reconnect.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Yeah. Well he did that a lot too. During our
- 18:25Speaker 6: time on the show.
- 18:26Speaker 5: There were moments where he would get really upset and
- 18:29Speaker 5: he would just like hurl his lip.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 6: I could hear him.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Swallow and then his tongue.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah, And I could tell, like we would talk about it,
- 18:39Speaker 5: you know, things that bothered him. And but yeah, I've
- 18:42Speaker 5: always acknowledged that and praised him for you know, that composure,
- 18:48Speaker 5: And yeah, you did it again today, and you know
- 18:51Speaker 5: it's you brought up you know, like avoiding conflict. It's
- 18:54Speaker 5: something that it's sad that in today's world, it's like
- 18:58Speaker 5: we avoid bringing up something that bothers us because we
- 19:02Speaker 5: do not want the conflict right, and when we feel
- 19:07Speaker 5: this need to, it's like, okay, I have to move
- 19:09Speaker 5: on from this. I have to bring it up. All
- 19:11Speaker 5: that it does is just create more complex.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, make sure the villain all of a sudden, Yes
- 19:15Speaker 1: you said that tonight. Yeah, yeah, I thought that was
- 19:16Speaker 1: really eloquent said.
- 19:18Speaker 6: During the show like I did.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I had, you know, some moments where I wanted to
- 19:22Speaker 5: speak up so much, like it was killing me. But
- 19:25Speaker 5: then I'm like, well then I'm just going to be
- 19:27Speaker 5: made at the aggressor, so why even speak up? Like
- 19:29Speaker 5: I'm capable of brushing things under the rug and moving on,
- 19:32Speaker 5: so why why don't I just do that?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Then?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:35Speaker 6: And then in the end though.
- 19:37Speaker 5: When I start seeing how things are played back, then
- 19:39Speaker 5: it's like, Okay, I just silenced myself to keep peace.
- 19:42Speaker 6: Is that worth it?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Is? That is?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:45Speaker 6: Is that worth it?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Especially if you're carrying it with you.
- 19:47Speaker 1: So it's like, you know, when you have to watch
- 19:49Speaker 1: the show back and you see how it's edited, and
- 19:51Speaker 1: you know, there's, like I always used to say, when
- 19:53Speaker 1: people be like, oh, well you.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Got a good at it.
- 19:54Speaker 1: That's why everyone you know thinks you're so nice, I'm like, well,
- 19:57Speaker 1: if I didn't say stuff, they couldn't use it.
- 19:59Speaker 7: Right.
- 19:59Speaker 3: It wasn't that I I didn't think it. It's just
- 20:01Speaker 3: I didn't say it, you know.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And so there's a certain part of that I'm sure
- 20:04Speaker 1: plays into that, especially on a show like this that,
- 20:07Speaker 1: let's be honest, this this, this, this new format of
- 20:10Speaker 1: Veteran in Paradise was put together I think to create
- 20:13Speaker 1: more tension. Yeah right, I mean, you know who we
- 20:16Speaker 1: cann't write it does when you introduce money, you introduce
- 20:18Speaker 1: these contests that you know, and then and then you're
- 20:21Speaker 1: in a situation where it's like, all of a sudden
- 20:22Speaker 1: you're looking at each other like, oh my god, do
- 20:25Speaker 1: I want the money? Do I want this person?
- 20:26Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 20:27Speaker 1: And there's there's that element that I think is pretty fascinating.
- 20:30Speaker 3: So yeah, I think there's a.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Lot to think about there. But I thought you guys
- 20:34Speaker 1: handled yourself very well.
- 20:35Speaker 3: It was my point. You're very welcome with pink Berry.

- 21:06Speaker 1: location near you, or order online at pinkberry dot com. Now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: the tweet. Let's talk about the tweet, right. I know
- 21:17Speaker 1: it's probably you're sick of talking about it, but the
- 21:20Speaker 1: tweet that started World War iree, it seemed out there
- 21:24Speaker 1: tonight for the conversation when about the whole you bringing
- 21:28Speaker 1: up to Zoe the whole thing or the Bailey rather
- 21:32Speaker 1: sort you brought up to Bailey what Jeremy had said
- 21:35Speaker 1: about Susie, right, and that became kind of a big thing.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And then it seemed like there was a lot of
- 21:40Speaker 1: lobbing back and forth, and to that point, Brian didn't
- 21:43Speaker 1: say a word about it. You sat there tonight like silent,
- 21:46Speaker 1: while the other two parties were kind of going at it.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Why was that?
- 21:50Speaker 4: So It's like when something like that occurs, it's like,
- 21:53Speaker 4: let them speak up first, digest it, and then you
- 21:57Speaker 4: could respond. Yeah, And I just watched them where Bailey
- 22:00Speaker 4: went after Alex and then she went after Andrew, and
- 22:04Speaker 4: then Kat got involved, and it's like, okay, now you
- 22:07Speaker 4: see how they're getting involved. It's funny because when we're
- 22:09Speaker 4: at the Row ceremony, none of you people were even
- 22:12Speaker 4: spoken about the number one target, and she was my
- 22:15Speaker 4: number one attorney defending me and my partner defending me
- 22:19Speaker 4: throughout the and that's why then I spoke up afterwards
- 22:22Speaker 4: and I'm like, it's interesting how this energy has now
- 22:24Speaker 4: shifted after viewership has watched this back and shown you
- 22:28Speaker 4: all that you guys.
- 22:29Speaker 7: Are wrong, right, Yeah, and now you.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Guys are pointing fingers at people that Kat said twenty
- 22:34Speaker 4: four hours. You guys have known this for ten, twelve,
- 22:36Speaker 4: fourteen days. What was going on? Yeah, and no one
- 22:40Speaker 4: spoke up about it, and now you're all turning on
- 22:41Speaker 4: each other in front of us right now at the reunion.
- 22:44Speaker 7: I'm just gonna sit back and watch And I was
- 22:45Speaker 7: literally didn't joke.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I was like, I'm just gonna sit back and watch
- 22:49Speaker 4: this and not say a word but I'm gonna chime
- 22:51Speaker 4: in afterwards and be like where was this energy then?
- 22:54Speaker 4: When I became target number one and her and I
- 22:56Speaker 4: were like literally on the chopping block for like three
- 22:58Speaker 4: ceremonies in a row after and it's like, oh, we
- 23:01Speaker 4: can't trust them, we can't trust them.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Trust me about what? Like what do you guys have
- 23:05Speaker 7: to hide? Like there's you know what I mean?
- 23:06Speaker 3: Like I'm the ones interesting, right, It was.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Like I'm not a snitch around a rat like whatever
- 23:11Speaker 4: you want to call it, Like, I'm Bailey is like
- 23:13Speaker 4: an amazing person. She's the most well rounded, probably the
- 23:16Speaker 4: most well rounded individual out of our entire group. I
- 23:19Speaker 4: think a lot of people would say that about her.
- 23:21Speaker 4: So I just the energy shift.
- 23:25Speaker 7: I just had to watch it.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was interesting to watch talking what's
- 23:31Speaker 3: going on? He was like public good.
- 23:34Speaker 7: To watch because I'm like, I don't even think I've
- 23:37Speaker 7: ever been.
- 23:38Speaker 4: In a more intense moment that Rose ceremony because I
- 23:42Speaker 4: walked into it thinking was like, you know, something might
- 23:45Speaker 4: happen tonight, like because of what I said. But it
- 23:47Speaker 4: was intense, like Andrew attacking me, Spencer attacked me them,
- 23:51Speaker 4: like judging our relationship without contact. Even Spencer I mentioned it, like,
- 23:54Speaker 4: you know, it's twelve things, twelve roomors said, Oh day,
- 23:56Speaker 4: I don't know which one's true. Well, that night you
- 23:58Speaker 4: knew every single one which was true, which was not true,
- 24:00Speaker 4: And he was just assuming everything even when he was
- 24:03Speaker 4: saying and portraying today he was guilty of in that
- 24:06Speaker 4: moment during that row ceremony, which he did kind of
- 24:09Speaker 4: pay homage and like respect me. Later he's like, listen,
- 24:12Speaker 4: takes so much heat that night.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Idea.
- 24:14Speaker 7: Yeah, that like I got to give you a lot
- 24:15Speaker 7: of respect.
- 24:16Speaker 3: You never got defensive, right, and.
- 24:19Speaker 1: That's that's not an easy thing to do, right. I
- 24:20Speaker 1: mean I get defensive about everything. I mean, looking at me,
- 24:25Speaker 1: call me fat.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I thought.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I thought it's gotta be hard because I've had a
- 24:30Speaker 1: situation in my life too where you're expected to have
- 24:34Speaker 1: a bro code, right, And it's like, why if by
- 24:39Speaker 1: bro does something dumb and it's going to hurt someone,
- 24:42Speaker 1: I'm supposed to somehow protect him so this person gets hurt.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I don't.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I don't necessarily agree with that, you know what I mean.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So I think there's a certain line that can happen
- 24:50Speaker 1: where you're going to be like, you know, I'm not
- 24:52Speaker 1: sure how I feel about that, and I think you
- 24:53Speaker 1: handled that well. So all right, last question saw in
- 25:00Speaker 1: the VIP lounge, I didn't even know what we were
- 25:02Speaker 1: talking about tonight until that came up. And the favorite
- 25:05Speaker 1: color thing, which I thought was really kind of funny
- 25:07Speaker 1: that you you chose magenta. Is it show that in
- 25:15Speaker 1: retrospect now it looked like you you kind of recognized
- 25:19Speaker 1: that you handled that situation poorly for sure?
- 25:22Speaker 3: Did that mean anything to you, Teresa?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Well?
- 25:25Speaker 6: He also he recognized it that night.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Later that night too, we talked about it. It was
- 25:31Speaker 5: hours later, like he I can't I don't know even
- 25:34Speaker 5: know if I was like in the kitchen in the suite,
- 25:35Speaker 5: he like walked in, he was like, look, I'm really
- 25:37Speaker 5: sorry about all that, and he explained I knew like
- 25:40Speaker 5: he was hot, tired, hungry, and.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Like you said, you were all hot, tired and hungry.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I know, it was more I understood where
- 25:51Speaker 5: it came from. Yeah, And it was more my point
- 25:55Speaker 5: of it was exactly that, like we all were, but
- 25:57Speaker 5: like I adapted to the situation and I knew if
- 26:00Speaker 5: I just smiled and like, you know, gave the.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Producers that last shot.
- 26:05Speaker 5: That's all they want, that lash out of us walking
- 26:07Speaker 5: in and like, you know, talking about how excited we
- 26:09Speaker 5: are to have this night together. I knew then that's done,
- 26:12Speaker 5: they're gone, and we have the whole night to just
- 26:15Speaker 5: enjoy what we worked hard for to win. Yeah, and yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 5: it was just we talked about it. It was just unfortunate
- 26:23Speaker 5: that like in that moment in the beginning, he just
- 26:27Speaker 5: had a hard time just like adjusting.
- 26:30Speaker 7: I felt a little short.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and it can happen, right, Yeah, and it does.
- 26:34Speaker 5: And that's what I was saying too, like when we
- 26:35Speaker 5: brought it up again, I don't want one low moment
- 26:40Speaker 5: to be something that's so big that labels him. Sure,
- 26:43Speaker 5: you know, it's like we all have moments like that,
- 26:46Speaker 5: you know. And it's again, it was just unfortunate that
- 26:48Speaker 5: it happened during that time. But I don't think that,
- 26:53Speaker 5: you know, after producers left, the cameras left, like that
- 26:56Speaker 5: wasn't the rest of our night, right, it wasn't. And
- 26:59Speaker 5: so it's yeah, it was just like you know, like
- 27:04Speaker 5: we're all good. It's probably gonna happen again one day
- 27:06Speaker 5: in the future too. It's like, you know, you catch
- 27:07Speaker 5: them at the wrong time when they're hungry and hot
- 27:09Speaker 5: and irritated, you know, like we're not perfect. It's going
- 27:14Speaker 5: to happen. But he recognized it that night and we
- 27:17Speaker 5: talked about it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Okay, I was lying, I have one more question. Actually
- 27:21Speaker 1: I have two more so and then then we have
- 27:23Speaker 1: to wrap it up. I know we're running out of it.
- 27:25Speaker 1: We're running out of tape apparently. So was this your
- 27:29Speaker 1: first time seeing each other since you guys broke up?
- 27:32Speaker 3: First of all. Secondly, how are you guys feeling right now?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Like cause I feel I don't know if I'm the
- 27:39Speaker 1: only one I feel the love in the room.
- 27:42Speaker 3: I do I feel it.
- 27:43Speaker 7: I just do.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I like you guys together, and I.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Think that, you know, sometimes you need that balance of
- 27:48Speaker 1: he can be a hothead. Yeah he needs somebody like
- 27:51Speaker 1: you to keep him kind of in check, and then
- 27:53Speaker 1: maybe she can get emotional or maybe actually would probably
- 27:55Speaker 1: be maybe you might be too nice sometimes I'm sort
- 27:59Speaker 1: of seeing that because I weedy traders have that same vibe.
- 28:02Speaker 3: So we need this guy.
- 28:03Speaker 1: To come in and kind of, you know, be like,
- 28:04Speaker 1: let's go, let's move it along. I don't know, I'm
- 28:06Speaker 1: just putting out there, But is this the first time
- 28:08Speaker 1: you guys saw e show us as a breakup and
- 28:09Speaker 1: what are you?
- 28:10Speaker 3: Where are your heads right now?
- 28:12Speaker 5: So in like right after we got back from Paradise,
- 28:16Speaker 5: I went to New York and saw him and it
- 28:18Speaker 5: was nice. It was a good weekend. But then it
- 28:21Speaker 5: was like that was it. We went back to work
- 28:25Speaker 5: and like then yeah, you know, like his work schedule again,
- 28:29Speaker 5: like he.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Just was just not available.
- 28:34Speaker 5: And again I'm not holding that against him at all,
- 28:37Speaker 5: Like this is like we're going to have times in
- 28:39Speaker 5: our lives where our career is just it has to
- 28:42Speaker 5: be number one priority, sure, and it it just was tough.
- 28:46Speaker 1: And so the timing was tough, right, you come off
- 28:48Speaker 1: the show where you want to be together more. But
- 28:51Speaker 1: he's also got to bury himself in this thing. He's
- 28:53Speaker 1: thrown everything he's got into his.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Career literally just opened. I came back and we just
- 29:00Speaker 4: open the doors.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Brian, where's your head? Like where's your where are you?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Where are you at right now with this relationship? Better
- 29:10Speaker 3: not be what your hat says.
- 29:12Speaker 4: This is just fun that like the season's over and
- 29:15Speaker 4: you know it's it's lighthearted. Every all of us cast,
- 29:19Speaker 4: We all love each other. As deep as it may seem,
- 29:21Speaker 4: it's not that deep. And I think she's an amazing
- 29:26Speaker 4: person and she's a lot of fun to be with,
- 29:28Speaker 4: a lot of fun to talk to, and she's super supportive.
- 29:33Speaker 7: And it's.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You know, it's is the door open, is all I
- 29:38Speaker 1: guess look at each other.
- 29:40Speaker 7: It's like.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Well, and it's like almost like where we were in
- 29:48Speaker 4: Paradise again.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I like that.
- 29:50Speaker 7: I think I think it's interesting.
