- 0:50What the heck happened exactly on 10 7 2023?
- 0:59Can somebody tell me, please, what happened?
- 1:04And the reason that I ask really what happened, not the official narrative that we were given.
- 1:11The reason I asked that is not because I'm an anti Semite or because I hate Israel.
- 1:17I am neither of those things.
- 1:19But the reason that I asked this is because I kind of feel like that is the key.
- 1:46Was 10 7 exactly as we were officially told, Hamas just woke up one day, got a lucky blow into the Israeli security cordon and rampaged and killed a bunch of people.
- 2:02Or was there something more?
- 2:04Remember my interview with Jack Maxie back in January, early February of this year, uh, where the very well informed Maxi explained to us, myself and this audience, uh, the situation that had been allowed to arise in terms of the Netanyahu government's relationship with Hamas.
- 2:33I, of course, at American Greatness when I used to write there and at The American Spectator, uh, was actually reporting on this uh five, six years ago.
- 2:44Um, even um Caroline Glick, who is now a Netanyahu advisor for security, uh coined the term mowing the grass in her essays for the times of Israel.
- 2:57Oh, a decade ago, back in 2017, she started reporting this.
- 3:01Mowing the grass, mowing the grass.
- 3:03That was the that was the term of art.
- 3:07And what that basically meant was, and and by the way, uh from a policy perspective, looking at it clinically, not a bad idea.
- 3:16If you're sitting in Tel Aviv 10 years ago, you're looking around the world thinking, what are my biggest strategic threats?
- 3:24It wasn't Hamas.
- 3:25Hamas was a tertiary or secondary problem.
- 3:30The problem that the uh Israeli security uh policy guys faced was really to the north in Hezbollah in Lebanon.
- 3:39That was their big problem set.
- 3:41And if you're sitting there in Israel, uh, you've got a small country, um, probably about the size of maybe New Jersey, the state of New Jersey, and you've got like what?
- 3:52I think like seven or nine million people living there.
- 3:56Um, not a big population.
- 3:59Your military, therefore, even with conscription, not a big military.
- 4:03And by the way, in 2006, you kind of got your ass handed to you fighting Hezbollah in the 2006 Lebanon war.
- 4:13And you were still, by 2017, 2018, really trying to figure out how do you, as an IDF leader, how do you fight a very specific kind of war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
- 4:32Okay.
- 4:33So you can't bite off more than you can chew.
- 4:36So Netanyahu and the government of Israel, I think rightly assessed that of the threats they faced, Hezbollah was the biggest threat.
- 4:47Uh uh, distant Iran was obviously sort of the nucleus of that threat.
- 4:52And Hamas was a problem, but uh more manageable.
- 4:56Yeah, they had rockets and missiles, and yeah, you know, Israel had previously fought, you know, the intifada, uh, partly against Hamas.
- 5:04But but I mean, ultimately, come on, this was not as big of a threat factor as Hezbollah was, and since 2010, 2009, the Israeli Navy had pretty much maintained an effect of blockade uh of Gaza, where Hamas is located, and uh, you know, so really, while you can't let your guard down, the argument at the time was let's take a sort of a management approach to the Hamas threat so that the Israelis could focus really on figuring out how to deter and defeat Hezbollah.
- 5:41And uh, you know, that was the mowing the grass.
- 5:44So the mowing the grass strategy was Israel was going to basically uh ignore to some degree the Hamas threat in Gaza.
- 5:53Uh more than that, though, and this is where Jack Maxie's story comes in that I want to remind everybody, and I know Jack has done uh the Dr.
- 6:02the two Mike's show as well on Monday, uh uh Dr.
- 6:05Mike and Colonel Mike, their show, the Monday edition of National Security Hour.
- 6:09He's been there repeatedly, uh, and he has repeated the story there of the unofficial deal, the backroom deal that was cut between Netanyahu's government and uh Yahya Sinwar, the now deceased leader of Hamas and the sort of the leadership of Hamas, wherein, in exchange for gobs of cash from the Israelis, uh the uh Hamas leadership would not um allow itself to become too significant of a security challenge uh for the Israelis.
- 6:50It was sort of a quiet um, I don't want to say truce, but uh something more akin to that uh than it was this sort of you know visceral, vicious uh wartime relationship of the kind you see dominating Israeli Hezbollah relations consistently for decades.
- 7:00You know, visceral, vicious uh wartime relationship of the kind you see dominating Israeli Hezbollah relations consistently for decades.
- 7:12And as Jack showcased in his episode with us several months ago, uh the the Netanyahu government officials would effectively send you know suitcases basically full of cash from Israel to Qatar.
- 7:12And as Jack showcased in his episode with us several months ago, uh the the Netanyahu government officials would effectively send you know suitcases basically full of cash from Israel to Qatar.
- 7:28It would then be.
- 7:28It would then be sent back, basically it would be you know laundered through Qatar, uh, and then it would be sent back to Israel, where the Israeli government would take that money uh and give it to Hamas to not attack Israel.
- 7:45And the, according to Maxi, the really interesting thing is the Netanyahu government, the Netanyahu people, uh, in the process of transferring that money would effectively take a VIG a percentage off the top of that uh basically that that suitcase of cash heading to Hamas.
- 8:11And uh that persisted for eight years at least, maybe 10.
- 8:16That was sort of the the unofficial Netanyahu Lakud party uh policy toward Hamas because they wanted to focus on Hezbollah, they wanted to fixate on is and Iran, uh, and they couldn't do all of this uh if they were also having to deal constantly with Gaza to the south.
- 8:37So that's that's that's the background.
- 8:40That's the context going into 10 seven, right?
- 8:48There's also some interesting context with energy politics.
- 8:54We had Gary Vogel Vogler, the um author of a wonderful book.
- 8:58He was a former coalition provisional authority oil expert that was in the on the ground in Iraq during the invasion.
- 9:06He reported to a guy named Mikovsky, who is now today the head of the uh uh Jewish International Security uh Association or agency Jinza up in DC.
- 9:18Mikovsky was uh senior Pentagon official in the George W.
- 9:23Bush administration's first term.
- 9:25Uh and he was basically one of the conduits for CPA in Iraq after we invaded, uh, one of the conduits to undersecretary of defense for policy Doug Fife, as well as uh the deputy defense secretary Paul Wolfowitz and Gary Vogler wrote a great book um for the Libertarian Institute Press and and forgive me, I'm forgetting the exact title.
- 9:50It was a uh it was called the Israel was the winner of the 2003 Iraq war, and basically from his experience on the ground in Iraq immediately after the invasion, he was there, I think for like 28 months, 32 months, uh working with the CPA.
- 10:08What what Gary determined uh was basically that the US did under George W.
- 10:15Bush invade Iraq in 2003 for oil, but it wasn't for U.S.
- 10:21oil interests, it was to secure Israeli oil interests.
- 10:27Isn't that interesting?
- 10:29And what happened uh basically, according to Gary, uh, was that the Israelis had lost access because of uh uh Mark Rich, who was a very famous oil trader on the global market.
- 10:47I think his firm was called Glencore back in the in the 90s uh and to early 2000s, and basically um he got charged with fraud, he had to sell the company, the new the new company that took over.
- 11:02Uh basically the Israelis lost when Mark Rich went offline when he went to jail um for I think it was tax fraud or wire fraud, something like that.
- 11:13Basically, the the Israelis lost a very lucrative exclusive deal that they had maintained since the Shah of Iran was running Iran to access this Iranian oil, uh, which was uh being sold to them below market value.
- 11:32And uh in 1994, because of Mark Rich being taken out of play uh and a couple of other factors, basically the Israelis lost that very helpful lucrative uh access to below market value oil, uh, which in turn forced the Israelis to have to go buy oil on the open market, which was a lot of money, much more than they had been paying for decades uh for the Iranian oil that was now cut off to them, which then of course uh began this kind of slow rolling uh policy shift in the in the Israeli government at the time Netanyahu was uh I believe he was when we invaded Iran, I believe he at that point, Iraq, when we invaded Iraq, I believe he was either the former or or the current um finance minister of the Israeli government, and uh Netanyahu had really spearheaded supporting the the war in Iraq from the Israeli side.
- 12:39Remember, of course, Ariel Sharon, the prime minister of Israel, uh the very liberal prime minister, had had really vocalized opposition to it.
- 12:48A lot of the Israeli left was opposed to it.
- 12:51The Israeli right led notably the Lakud Party, of which Netanyahu is today the leader of.
- 12:56They were all for it.
- 12:58Um but the we have to understand what was going on because actually what interestingly happened was we went into Iraq, Gary Vogler was was sent in to try to reconstitute what was known as the Kirkuk Haifa pipeline, which was a pipeline that hadn't really been in in service for for decades, uh linking uh uh Iraqi uh Iraqi territory via pipeline uh to Haifa Israel.
- 13:28And the Iraqi government had shut it down decades before the invasion of Iraq, and the Israelis had gotten it in their head that, oh no, if the Americans go in and take over the country, they'll be able to basically uh reconstitute that pipeline.
- 13:46It's really ready to roll.
- 13:47All we'd have to do is start running oil through it, and we'll take Iraqi oil and shoot it into Israel to Haifa, uh, and uh we'll we'll basically reconstitute the the previous deal we had with the Iranians for massive quantities of of oil at below market value.
- 14:00Iranians for massive quantities of oil at below market value.
- 14:04We'll do that with post-Saddam Iraq.
- 14:04We'll do that with post Saddam Iraq.
- 14:06It'll work out great.
- 14:06It'll work out great.
- 14:07Well, as it turned out, as Gary told us several months ago on the show, it didn't work out.
- 14:07Well, as it turned out, as Gary told us several months ago on the show, it didn't work out.
- 14:12The Haifa pipeline, the Kirkuk Haifa pipeline was damaged beyond repair.
- 14:12The Haifa pipeline, the the Kirkuk Haifa pipeline was damaged beyond repair.
- 14:18Uh Bedouins were using it to basically house things in because it had sat empty for so long.
- 14:18Uh, Bedouins were using it to basically house things in because it had sat empty for so long.
- 14:24Parts of it had been demolished and disassembled.
- 14:24Parts of it had been demolished and disassembled.
- 14:27So basically the Israelis.
- 14:27So basically, the Israelis believed that a U.S.
- 14:31invasion of Iraq would benefit them by giving them cheap, abundant Iraqi oil.
- 14:37Ultimately, as Gary explains to us in the book and explained to us on the show we did together, ultimately the Israelis did gain access to Iran Iraqi oil from uh Iraqi Kurdistan.
- 14:51Uh, a Turkish pipeline was maintaining that flow from I believe 2004 until 2023.
- 15:03And what happened in 2023 was the Turks got into a spat with the Iraqi Kurds over money related to that well, and the Turks pulled out, and they basically shut down the pipeline.
- 15:18So the Israelis in 2023 lost that cheap Iraqi oil the same way they had lost that cheap Iranian oil in the 90s.
- 15:30And when we come back, we're going to talk about the importance of that.

- 18:28We are now coming back from the break, having seen the way in which the Israelis were working behind the scenes to push the United States to do something very significant, like invade Iraq in 2003.
- 18:53This is not a story you will hear normally in the mainstream.
- 18:57You'll find it in Gary Vogler's book.
- 19:00Israel was the winner of the 2003 Iraq War from the Libertarian Press Institute or Libertarian Institute Press.
- 19:08But 2023 was in an it was an important year for the Middle East, right?
- 19:122023 was not only the year that the Iraqi Kurdistan oil deal with Israel via Turkish pipelines fell through, but several months after that deal fell through, and after the oil stopped flowing, basically to Israel.
- 19:33Um suddenly the 10-7 attacks happen.
- 19:38Suddenly, that other kind of nefarious deal that Benjamin Netanyahu's government had created for years and maintained for years with Hamas in Gaza also fell apart.
- 19:53Completely fell apart.
- 19:55Turns out the entire time the Netanyahu government was essentially paying off Hamas to not be a problem, and occasionally mowing the grass, occasionally going in and killing some Hamas leaders or arresting some of them in Gaza or blowing up some buildings, supposedly housing, you know, his Hamas weapons caches intermittently throughout the year.
- 20:21Basically, it turned out that Yahya Sinwar, that cheeky bugger, was uh taking that money that was being given to him and using that time he was being granted by the Israeli defense force to build kind of a war machine and to prepare to conduct a massive major terrorist attack on southern Israel.
- 20:47It's very interesting.
- 20:492023.
- 20:51Now it's not that I personally don't think Hamas did the attack.
- 20:57I believe it's very obvious they did.
- 21:00What I am questioning, and what I think we we deserve answers to, since it literally has affected all of us now, because there is a straight line from 10.7, 2023 to now the Iran War, which is completely destabilizing the entire world economy and is likely going to lead to regime change in the United States this November.
- 21:00What I am questioning, and what I think we we deserve answers to, since it literally has affected all of us now, because there is a straight line from 10.7, 2023 to now the Iran War, which is completely destabilizing the entire world economy and is likely going to lead to regime change in the United States this November.
- 21:27I think we need to understand what really.
- 21:27I think we need to understand what really precipitated the 10.7 attacks in 2023.
- 21:34Because I don't believe the official narrative is sufficient to answer all the questions that I have.
- 21:40Several data points lead me to believe possibly there was a stand down order issued by the Netanyahu government.
- 21:54Because I realize, oh, that's a conspiracy theory.
- 21:56Oh, this must be some anti-Israeli, anti uh, you know, anti-Semitic uh talking point.
- 22:02It is not.
- 22:04It is not.
- 22:05I am merely reporting what one of the biggest pro-Israeli voices in the United States until he was killed, said shortly after the attacks, Charlie Kirk.
- 22:18Charlie Kirk was on with Patrick Bet David weeks or months.
- 22:23It was in 2023, it was after the 10-7 attacks, and he explained to Patrick Bet David his theory that 10-7 was not only avoidable, but he he shared his fear that for whatever reason the Israeli intelligence services let it happen.
- 22:47We have since been, it's been reported in Haretz, it's been reported in the Times of Israel, it's been reported on China Channel 12.
- 22:53All these are Israeli news organizations, very good news organizations, by the way.
- 22:57In fact, I just as an aside here, I think the Israeli news services are some of the best uh reporting in the world on especially Middle East politics and things related to that region.
- 23:08They have some really stellar reporting that goes on there at these publications.
- 23:12And Heretz is one of those publications, and they reported uh not long ago, maybe a year ago, that uh the Israeli intelligence services had actually detected a buildup of Hamas militants on the other side of the Israeli southern border, that they had actually taken, I think, drone photos of the encampment that the Hamas fighters were using to train, and it was an encampment that was made to look identical to one of the Israeli military bases that ended up being attacked.
- 23:52Hamas was detected, and apparently the report rended its way from the Southern Lebanon or sorry, southern Israeli headquarters all the way up to the prime minister's office, weeks and days before the actual attack occurred.
- 24:11So, what pray tell happened?
- 24:15Israeli security services are some of the best in the world.
- 24:19These people do not F around.
- 24:22Charlie Kirk, who I know I know for a fact had very deep and intimate ties with several leaders in Israel, notably in the Lakud Party, notably in Netanyahu's office.
- 24:34Charlie Kirk had been to the border with Hamas or with Gaza, where Hamas is many times.
- 24:41He had been escorted to the by the IDF.
- 24:43He had been, he had been on the tours that I had been invited to that I did not go on.
- 24:49I did not want to go on, because at the time 10 7 had just happened, and the IDF invited me to come tour their border posts, and I said, no, thanks.
- 24:58I know nothing personal.
- 25:00I would love to go to Israel at some point, but let's wait till the uh violence dies down.
- 25:04But Charlie Kirk had been there personally escorted by very senior leadership of the IDF.
- 25:11And what he told Patrick Bett David was that in his view, there was no possible way the Israelis would have missed Hamas's buildup.
- 25:26And I think he's right.
- 25:29Knowing what I know about Israeli security, knowing what I know about Israeli defense forces.
- 25:35Now, maybe the rank and file had gotten cocky.
- 25:40Maybe the rank and file, which is there's a, you know, the book While Israel Slept is uh sort of a conventional um uh after action report, if you will, of what happened on 10-7.
- 25:50It's actually not bad.
- 25:51There's some really interesting data points in there, it's very well written.
- 25:55The two guys who wrote it are are very, very good reporters from Israel.
- 25:58But I just it's very conventional in terms of sort of the framing of the book, while Israel slept.
- 26:04Just look at the listen to the title.
- 26:06It indicates that, oh, they were just all caught by surprise.
- 26:09Again, maybe the rank and file were, but there were senior members of the Israeli security services of the Israeli intelligence service who detected the buildup, who then disseminated those indicators and warnings to their senior leadership, including to the prime minister's office, where those warnings went unheeded.
- 26:34Was it negligence?
- 26:36Maybe.
- 26:39Or was it convenient timing?
- 26:42Probably.
- 26:44Again, I am not disputing that Hamas is a terrible organization.
- 26:48I'm not disputing that Hamas is terrorism.
- 26:50I'm not disputed or terrorist organization.
- 26:52I'm not, I'm not disputing that Hamas did the attack.
- 26:56They most certainly did.
- 26:59But Southern Israel's border with Gaza is one of the most secure spaces in the world.
- 27:05And while no security is foolproof, the attack that occurred was so ridiculously over the top people in paraglider, you know, machines and you know, running and gunning through the street.
- 27:19I mean, the whole thing was just really strange and so obvious what happened.
- 27:29Well, as it turns out, and and we're going to get back to that oil point.
- 27:32I know people are like, well, is that was that like a plot thread that's been lost?
- 27:35No, no, we're gonna get back to that.
- 27:40But the security situation is very important.
- 27:44So, what happened on 10-7 that changed all of this?
- 27:50How is it that we went since 2006, really, a mostly secured border with Gaza this deal with uh uh Hamas to basically secretly pay them to not attack uh the Israelis to one day on 10.7, everybody wakes up, it's a holiday, everybody's enjoying the day, quiet to respite, and you've got Hamas running and gunning through the streets, killing and kidnapping anybody they see.
- 28:01This deal with uh uh Hamas to basically secretly pay them to not attack uh the Israelis to one day on 10.7, everybody wakes up, it's a holiday, everybody's enjoying the day, quiet respite, and you've got Hamas running and gunning through the streets, killing and kidnapping anybody they see.
- 28:28How do you get to that point?
- 28:28How do you get to that point in such a short period of time?
- 28:33That's the question.
- 28:34And by the way, that's the question Israeli courts are asking.
- 28:38That's the question Israel uh Israel's legislative body, the Nesset has been asking.
- 28:44They've not gotten a satisfactory answer from the Netanyahu government.
- 28:50In fact, interestingly enough, in fact, the Netanyahu government, any time questions about 10.
- 29:01Suddenly a new crisis in their war, a new front in the war that has been raging since 10.
- 29:10Uh opens up.
- 29:12They attack Syria, they attack Lebanon, they go back into Gaza, they attack Iran every single time.
- 29:24The Israeli security, the Israeli legislative body, the Israeli courts, Netanyahu's opposition parties on the left in Israel.
- 29:34Anytime any of those groups get together and start formally inquiring as to what the hell happened on 10.
- 29:42Oh, sorry, a new front in the war has opened.
- 29:47Can't answer your questions because we're in a state of emergency.
- 29:52Anytime Mr.
- 29:53Netanyahu is facing any kind of legal problem, in fact, of which he apparently is faced with many.
- 30:02Anytime an investigation opens up, or there's a new development in the investigation, something happens in Israeli foreign policy that requires him to basically get out of having to answer any tough questions.
- 30:21Remember, before 10.
- 30:36Demanding that Netanyahu be removed from office.
- 30:42Do you remember that?
- 30:43I distinctly remembered that.
- 30:46Many people have forgotten, though, because 10.
- 30:54Every single time, some development happens that threatens the uh legal standing of Netanyahu, or even possibly the freedom of Netanyahu.
- 31:06Suddenly, Netanyahu has a new narrative.
- 31:11Oh, another front has opened.
- 31:13Emerge more power to me, more emergency power to me, more censorship in the media.
- 31:19To be fair, there is no official censorship in Israel.
- 31:22It's all self-censorship, but you get the point.
- 31:26Nobody in Israel understandably wants to be seen as unpatriotic, as questioning the leader in a time of existential crisis.
- 31:37But perhaps the crisis isn't so existential, and perhaps it isn't so random, and just maybe the crisis is partly the result of very interesting uh, shall we say, policy choices by Netanyahu and his advisors when it comes to dealing with Hamas, when it comes to uh addressing security concerns.
- 32:12What would be the point?
- 32:14Well, the point the system, a system is what it does, right?
- 32:21So the point in this case, what is the point?
- 32:24The point in this case is for Netanyahu, we all hear about Greater Israel.
- 32:29Yeah, the Greater Israel Project, which is really a La Kud party ambition to uh expand Israeli territorial control, you know, to what they believe to be its biblical or you know, it's it's its holy borders.
- 32:44So that would mean expanding it into Jordan, into the Sinai, into even as far as field as parts of Saudi Arabia.
- 32:52That's sort of the ideological mission of the Netanyahu Lakud Party.
- 32:58And I think that very much is at play here, but I don't think that's the driver.
- 33:01I think that's sort of a grand ambition of ideologues, but I don't think the reason that Netanyahu would have looked the other way.
- 33:13I'm not saying he ordered it.
- 33:14I'm not saying that he was involved with the planning or anything like that, but I think that there's a chance that a warning was sent to his office before the 10-7 attack saying, hey, Hamas is getting ready to do this.
- 33:26It's this is a crisis, we got to get prepared.
- 33:29And I could see Netanyahu shrugging and going, we'll get to it eventually.
- 33:34If it happens, it happens.
- 33:35And if it does happen, well, it's very convenient, isn't it?
- 33:39Yeah, the Greater Israel Project is part of this, but it's not the driver, I don't think.
- 33:44The driver's baser than that.
- 33:46The driver is Netanyahu's political and legal survival.
- 33:52That's it.
- 33:53That's it.
- 33:55That's it right there.
- 33:59Netanyahu, if Charlie Kirk is correct, and I think he is.
- 34:03Netanyahu's government lets slide Hamas's build-up, knowing that it would probably lead to something.
- 34:10Maybe they didn't know the extent.
- 34:12I don't think anybody could have guessed it would have been as brutal as it was.
- 34:16But maybe uh look the other way, let uh let them attack some bases, and that will justify an increased military response from us in Israel.
- 34:26And in turn, that will sort of silence the naysayers to Netanyahu.
- 34:31That will keep back those vicious Shin Bet uh and Nesset and court investigators looking into charges of corruption, looking into charges of of uh you know delinquency and and uh neglect uh at the strategic level by Netanyahu in the run up to 10-7.
- 34:52Hey, maybe that that buys time for Netanyahu, sort of like what Clinton did.
- 34:58Bill Clinton did this during the Monica Lewinsky impeachment trials, right?
- 35:00The Monica Lewinsky impeachment trials, right?
- 35:03He would bomb a random pill factory uh in uh in Nigeria or Sudan or Iraq to distract people from uh the blue dress or the revelations that he was in fact in flagrante delicto with uh the Monica Lewinsky, the the girl who was only a few years older than his own daughter.
- 35:03He would bomb a random pill factory in uh in Nigeria or Sudan or Iraq to distract people from uh the blue dress or the revelations that he was in fact in flagrante delicto with uh the Monica Lewinsky, the the girl who was only a few years older than his own daughter.
- 35:28That is a very Clinton-esque.
- 35:28That is a very Clinton-esque wag the dog sort of thing.
- 35:34Keep that in mind.

- 38:38We begin our final segment.
- 38:41So the Israeli situation on 10.
- 38:46As Charlie Kirk had said, as others have said, was not what we thought it was.
- 38:53It wasn't the Israelis waking up to sudden surprise.
- 38:57Hamas coming in over the border.
- 39:00It was for several weeks and even months, the Israelis had clear indicators and warnings at the highest levels that Hamas was planning to do something.
- 39:10At the highest levels, the Israelis for years had been paying off Hamas to not attack them in a big way.
- 39:19And Hamas, of course, being Hamas was taking that money and funding their war machine with it.
- 39:28But hey, Netanyahu and his top people got a VIG off of that money, right?
- 39:36That is a that is really an interesting story that I highly recommend everybody check out Jack Maxie.
- 39:42The episode we did, you could find it uh the long form episode.
- 39:46It was almost three hours with Jack on my rumble uh NatSec talk.
- 39:52Uh it's from February, and he really gets into the details of that deal.
- 39:58But 10-7 shook the world, changed the world.
- 40:03Because from there on, the Israelis, Netanyahu had an excuse to open up militarily to put his society into a full wartime mentality, so much so that not many people were questioning him anymore.
- 40:20Not many people were asking, hey, whatever happened to that money you were given to Hamas?
- 40:25Hey, uh, what was going on with all those corruption charges?
- 40:28Why did you try to pack the Israeli Supreme Court?
- 40:31Hey, uh, you know, Mr.
- 40:33Netanyahu, uh uh, what happened on 10-7?
- 40:37What are these reports that Massad and the Israeli security services knew on some level that the Hamas was planning this attack?
- 40:45What happened?
- 40:46Why weren't we more prepared in the southern part of the country?
- 40:51Those questions just evaporated.
- 40:54Kind of like the questions after 9-11.
- 40:57How did that happen?
- 41:00Kui Bono.
- 41:02What happened there?
- 41:05At least we did a 9-11 commission.
- 41:08At least we did that.
- 41:09The Israelis didn't really, yeah.
- 41:13Some books were written by Haret's authors.
- 41:16That's about it.
- 41:21Meanwhile, the Israelis have under Netanyahu since 10-7 expanded their war that was supposed to only be directed against Hamas, and they have exponentially expanded it into all directions.
- 41:37And if they're not directly engaged in conflict with their Muslim neighbors, suddenly they are uh picking diplomatic fights, putting their neighbors back on their heels.
- 41:48Oh, what's gonna happen next, they wonder.
- 41:53Almost immediately, the Israeli-Egyptian relationship, which really was one of the great victories of the late 20th century was the flipping after after uh Anwar Sadat, you know, he did what he did.
- 42:00Victories of the late 20th century was the flipping after uh Anwar Sadat, you know, he did what he did.
- 42:08Uh, the flipping of Egypt in from, you know, away from an eternal enemy of neighboring Israel into really a friend.
- 42:08Uh, the flipping of Egypt in from you know, away from an eternal enemy of neighboring Israel into really a friend.
- 42:17Um that relationship was really the bedrock of the entire future Middle East order that prevailed after Egypt and Israel settled there long ago.
- 42:17Um that that relationship was really the bedrock of the entire future Middle East order that prevailed after Egypt and Israel settled their longtime dispute.
- 42:31And what happened after 107 was the Israelis went hard into Gaza.
- 42:37Again, you can't blame them.
- 42:38That's where the attack emanated.
- 42:40I'm not I'm not saying they were wrong to do, you know, initially what they did.
- 42:44They had to respond, just like we had to respond against Al Qaeda and even the Taliban after 9 11 in Afghanistan.
- 42:51But actually, interestingly, and I'm not his biggest fan, Joe Biden and Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor for Biden's White House, both said something that I thought was very, very wise.
- 43:05They gave a warning to Netanyahu that of course they were you know excoriated in the press for daring to utter, but they told Netanyahu right after 10.7, you've got you've got the um the sympathy of the world, and they did.
- 43:22Israel had the sympathy of most of the world.
- 43:25Don't make America's mistakes after 9 11.
- 43:29And what they were trying to say was don't go so heavy-handed against terrorism in the Muslim world that you end up going from being seen as a victim who is justified in pursuing their attackers into being the enemy of all Islam, the enemy of the developing world, the enemy of the third world.
- 43:52Don't reopen those wounds by going too far too fast.
- 43:57And Netanyahu basically flipped the bird to the Americans and said, No, no, I'm gonna do what I need to do.
- 44:05And when he said I'm gonna do what I need to do, he really was saying, I'm gonna do what I need to do for me.
- 44:13Not for Israel, not for the U.S.
- 44:16Israeli alliance.
- 44:18So he started not just attacking Hamas and incidentally hurting and killing civilians in Gaza, of which there are many.
- 44:29He started expanding and doing this like really vicious targeting of civilian infrastructure just for the sake of targeting the civilian infrastructure to make the population of Gaza feel the pain, under the pretext that, hey, most of them in 2006 voted for Hamas.
- 44:46Of course, there's an argument to be made that that election was entirely fraudulent, and that actually, if there had not been a corrupt election, it is not probable that Hamas would have won.
- 44:57But that's a, you know, we can't prove that one way or the other.
- 44:59The fact is they did win.
- 45:01George W.
- 45:01Bush signed off on that election, encouraged that election.
- 45:05And so here we are uh sitting with Hamas running Gaza.
- 45:09But the point is is that the Israelis started going from just a counter-terrorism interdiction and a hostage rescue.
- 45:16They dropped the hostage rescue almost immediately, by the way, um, and focused entirely not on a counter-terrorism mission, but on a total war of uh annihilation of Gaza and by extension, the people living there.
- 45:33And I believe the idea was to create so much destruction, devastation, and chaos that it would have forced the majority of Gazan of Arabs in Gaza to pack up and uh become refugees and leave entirely, never to return.
- 45:48And where were they going to go?
- 45:50Was to neighboring Egypt.
- 45:52We were talking at the time, I was on other shows, saying it looks like uh Israel is going to try to push the bulk of the the Gaza population into the Sinai Peninsula, which of course prompted, um, which of course prompted the um the um the is the the Egyptians to take umbrage and immediately deploy uh tanks to the Sinai Peninsula.
- 46:21And ever since then, uh relations between Egypt and Israel have been icy and deteriorating fast.
- 46:27And that pattern, by the way, is playing out across the Muslim world.
- 46:31Whereas before, whereas before, um, whereas before the the Israelis leading into 10-7 were actually being reintegrated into uh the wider Middle East geopolitical scene, uh the attacks on 10-7 and more importantly, the response militarily from Israel after 10-7 was seen as so egregious and and so barbaric that the Abraham Accords, which had still been going into place even under Biden, he didn't officially say I'm following Trump's Abraham Accords, that famous agreement that was trying to bring from the first term of Trump, uh, bring the Israelis and the Arab states together into a closer trade and security alliance to contain Iran.
- 47:28Um the Biden administration didn't say, hey, we're gonna keep going with that, but they through their actions and rhetoric kept it going indirectly.
- 47:37Brett McGurk was one of the senior guys at the White House from Biden, and he was running the Middle East portfolio, and he was pretty much committed to it, even if he didn't say the name Abraham Accords.
- 47:48So before 10-7, it looked like the Abraham Accords were really coming into place, which would have had very positive momentum and reverberations, not only for Israel and the United States, but for the wider region.
- 48:01And after 10-7, because Israel was so aggressive and egregious and bloody-minded in dealing with Hamas, yes, but really attacking Gaza generally, the civilian population there, the Arab world said we can't we can't do this, and they started turning on the Israelis, not directly.
- 48:24The Saudis are not going to turn on Israel directly, but but quietly, the the lines of communication have cooled, and the desirability of coming together with Israel in a new kind of security and trading alliance, that is gone.
- 48:42And that is that is the result specifically of Israeli actions in uh Gaza.
- 48:48Um, all of this though happened.
- 48:51Why?
- 48:52This is the question.
- 48:53Why would they do this?
- 48:54It's because Netanyahu, I believe there was a large component of the story that Netanyahu needed to get out of jail free card.
- 49:00Needed to get out of jail free card.
- 49:02And every time it looked like those investigations were restarting, suddenly something happened uh where he expanded the war.
- 49:02And every time it looked like those investigations were restarting, suddenly something happened where he expanded the war.
- 49:09And now back to the oil thing.
- 49:09And now back to the oil thing.
- 49:11What happened in 2023 was they lost again access to cheap, reliable sources of oil from Iraq this time.
- 49:11What happened in 2023 was they lost again access to cheap, reliable sources of oil from Iraq this time.
- 49:20The Turks and the Iraqi Kurds collapsed.
- 49:20The Turks and the Iraqi Kurds collapsed.
- 49:23They broke down uh this deal with that uh Turkey was providing a pipeline and Iraqi Kurdistan was providing oil.
- 49:23They broke down this deal with that Turkey was providing a pipeline and Iraqi Kurdistan was providing oil through that pipeline into Israel.
- 49:32That broke down because of a of a pay dispute between Turkey and Iraqi Kurds.
- 49:38And ultimately the Turks pulled out.
- 49:40And suddenly in 2023, just like in 2003, the uh Israelis found themselves having to bid on the open market for very expensive oil, much more than what they were paying for uh after the 2003 Iraq invasion by the U.S.
- 49:56So what happens is now you see uh the Iran war erupting, right?
- 50:04You see a complete rejiggering of the region's energy flows since 2023.
- 50:11What's something that happened?
- 50:13Uh one of the big moves is that uh Turkey and Israel both have become very close, and the United States have become very close with Azerbaijan.
- 50:24And Azerbaijan is now allowing Turkey to transport Central Asian oil and natural gas out of Azerbaijan, bypass the Iranian territory, and they're building a new pipeline to go straight into Israel via Syria, and then they're gonna transit that energy also up to Turkey, where Turkey will then distribute that energy to Europe.
- 50:53It's a big deal.
- 50:55That's a BFD, as uh uh Joe Biden might have said once upon a time.
- 51:03Energy, politics, corruption in politics, genocide, counterterrorism.
- 51:14I mean, this is all world war.
- 51:16All of this is coming from 10.7, which we still don't know why it really happened, because the official narrative doesn't make sense.
- 51:25It just doesn't.
- 51:26But when you contextualize it, as I have done for the last, I don't know, hour, suddenly it becomes very clear.
- 51:35There is more to this story than we are being led to believe.
- 51:39And it goes back to Netanyahu, and it goes back to his legal and domestic political problems, and it goes back to corruption and it goes back and it goes back and it goes back.
- 51:49And guess what?
- 51:52We are now sitting.
- 51:53What it leads to is we are now staring down the brink of global economic catastrophe.
- 52:00We are now staring down the brink of the true rise of Iran as a regional hyperpower.
- 52:07We are now staring down the brink, potentially, of a third freaking world war.
- 52:13We are now staring down the brink, by the way, of the end of MAGA and the end of the Trump administration and the end of any Republican dominance of domestic politics because of the Iran war or the failures in that Iran war, the knock-on effects, and it all goes back on some level to 10-7 to Israel, to Netanyahu.
- 52:39What the hell happened that day?
- 52:44And what happens when uh if the Iranian regime does fall, which by the way, I'm all for hate that regime, happy to see it go away.
- 52:52It's a terrorist supporting regime.
- 52:54I would love to see it go away.
- 52:56I don't think it is going away, but I would love to see it go away.
- 53:00What happens though to Iran's bountiful oil and natural gas?
- 53:06You think it might get rerooted or the dream of Netanyahu is that hey, we lost the Iraqi oil.
- 53:13Maybe we can get back in on the Iranian oil.
- 53:17We lost that in the 90s, and look what that led to.
- 53:20Maybe we can now, because the Americans are going in, and I think the Americans are going in.
- 53:24Uh, if the Americans do end up going in, maybe we can get that energy.
- 53:33What you are being told is happening.
- 53:39The reason you are having to pay $5 a gallon, $6 a gallon.
- 53:46If you're in California, $7 uh 11, $7.11 a gallon.
- 53:52The reason that beef costs what it does.
- 53:55The reason that farmers, even in the United States, are saying we're not planting what we normally do because we don't have fertilizer.
- 54:04The reason inflation in the United States is set to get up to 4.1% soon.
- 54:12It's all because of the policies enacted by the Israeli prime minister, one Benjamin Netanyahu.
- 54:24It really is.
- 54:26Yes, Iran is a terrorist supporter.
- 54:28Yes, Iran, uh Hamas, I do believe was operating on behalf of Iran.
- 54:33Hezbollah operates in partnership with Iran.
- 54:37Uh, there's no doubt, there's no doubt that that those organizations are affiliated with Iran and Iran is at war with Israel as Israel is at war with Iran.
- 54:45All of that is true, but all of that has been true.
- 54:49What changed?
- 54:51And why did Donald Trump go to bed on February 27th of this year with relative peace for the United States and with inflation coming down?
- 55:05And then February 28th, he effectively wakes up with his orange hair on fire, saying, Oh my God, oh my God, we we've got to go to war with Iran.
- 55:15They're two weeks away from getting a nuke, and if we don't, if we don't stop, then they're gonna nuke everybody.
- 55:20And by the way, they're a nothing burger.
- 55:22We can take them on, just like we took Maduro and Venezuela, it'll be a 96-hour war.
- 55:26We'll kill the leadership, and then the people of Iran will rise up as one, and I'll look like a hero.
- 55:3196 hours, I'll have this thing wrapped up.
- 55:33What happened, dear panicin?
- 55:36Because that to me is a panicking.
- 55:37What happened?
- 55:38Netanyahu got into his ear.
- 55:40That's what happened.
