- 0:10Speaker 1: Warning the Root The Root, the Roots on fire. You're
- 0:14Speaker 1: about to experience the most high octane pedal to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: metal controversial show of your life. Please buckle up and
- 0:20Speaker 1: hold on tightly. This station is not responsible for injuries.
- 0:23Speaker 1: This is Wayne Alan Roots for America's favorite conservative rock star,
- 0:28Speaker 1: direct from the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
- 0:32Speaker 1: What time is it?
- 0:33Speaker 2: It's time war War.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Here's your host, one hundred percent raw truth, one hundred
- 0:40Speaker 1: percent American made the warrior, Wayne Alan Roots.
- 0:56Speaker 3: All right way down and read Warzone.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You see.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I'm just watching, you know, in the TV camera. I'm
- 1:01Speaker 4: watching the open of the show on Patriots Dot TV.
- 1:04Speaker 4: And it's kind of funny because you know, it's all
- 1:06Speaker 4: about Vegas, and I'm from Vegas.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm originally for New York.
- 1:09Speaker 4: But my adopted hometown is Las Vegas for the last
- 1:11Speaker 4: twenty three years now, going on twenty four years this year.
- 1:15Speaker 3: And you see the.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Fountains of Bellagio on Lake Blagio at the Blagio Hotel.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I often eat dinner at Spago and I sit outside
- 1:23Speaker 4: and I'm overlooking that exact fountain going off, that explosion
- 1:27Speaker 4: of water in the air, that exact thing I'm staring
- 1:30Speaker 4: at for dinner. So it's funny that they use that
- 1:32Speaker 4: in the open of the show, and it struck me.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I was going to write this column. I've already got
- 1:38Speaker 4: the notes here to write the column if I could
- 1:40Speaker 4: find it. Vegas homes now sell for thirty million dollars,
- 1:44Speaker 4: condos for twenty one million. That's what zero taxes does
- 1:48Speaker 4: for you. You know, Vegas is not pretty per se, although
- 1:53Speaker 4: the thirty million dollar homes in a golf course gated
- 1:55Speaker 4: community are pretty nice on a golf course, But I mean,
- 1:58Speaker 4: Vegas itself is kind of ugly.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It's kind of a desert.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Tumbleweed used to be rolling by. You know, it's ugly desert.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It's not a lot of green not a lot of
- 2:07Speaker 4: green grass. It's like I say, desert. And if there wasn't,
- 2:11Speaker 4: you know, artificial water from the Hoover Dam, it would
- 2:15Speaker 4: be one big, ugly place with tumbleweeds and and so
- 2:19Speaker 4: how do you get people to move there from a
- 2:20Speaker 4: beautiful place like California. Well, I lived in Malibu on
- 2:25Speaker 4: the beach overlooking the ocean. Okay, for the first six
- 2:29Speaker 4: years it was like being in Baywatch. I lived on
- 2:31Speaker 4: the beach and I used to get up in the
- 2:34Speaker 4: morning and I'd walk, you know, ten steps down and
- 2:36Speaker 4: I was on the beach with my dogs, and we'd
- 2:38Speaker 4: walk on the beach.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I lived on the beach.
- 2:41Speaker 4: The waves broke right in front of my back window,
- 2:44Speaker 4: and so and then I moved to a house that
- 2:46Speaker 4: was basically a mansion overlooking the beach, with a four
- 2:50Speaker 4: story wall of glass overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. And
- 2:54Speaker 4: right below that glass, I had a beautiful pool hanging
- 2:57Speaker 4: out over a mountain overlooking the ocean. How do you
- 3:00Speaker 4: get someone to leave that to go to ugly Las Vegas?
- 3:03Speaker 4: Zero income taxes, That's how. And now it's happening. You know,
- 3:06Speaker 4: no one ever imagined. I have friends who grew up
- 3:09Speaker 4: in Las Vegas and they moved somewhere else. And I
- 3:11Speaker 4: sent a few of them a letter over the weekend
- 3:13Speaker 4: and I said, did you ever imagine the Vegas that
- 3:16Speaker 4: you grew up in would now have thirty million dollar
- 3:18Speaker 4: homes and twenty one million dollar condos?
- 3:20Speaker 3: And they were all like what?
- 3:21Speaker 4: And I sent them the actual listing of the thirty
- 3:24Speaker 4: million dollar home, and I sent them this sale because
- 3:27Speaker 4: that's not even a listing. It happened a twenty one
- 3:29Speaker 4: million dollar condo gets sold. All of this is in Summerland,
- 3:33Speaker 4: not Vegas proper, but Summerland, which is kind of you know,
- 3:36Speaker 4: Phoenix as Scottsdale, Vegas as Summerland. Summerland is the Scottsdale
- 3:40Speaker 4: slash Beverly Hills of Las Vegas, and it's where I live.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I love Summerland.
- 3:44Speaker 4: It's beautiful and there's no crime. The air is clean,
- 3:48Speaker 4: the sky is blue, and the houses are all beautiful,
- 3:51Speaker 4: and they're engated communities and it's just a great place
- 3:54Speaker 4: to live in the whole LA. And I'm sure plenty
- 3:57Speaker 4: of San Diego and plenty of San Francisco. Plenty of
- 4:00Speaker 4: people from New York are also moving here. Plenty of
- 4:02Speaker 4: people from Chicago are probably moving here. But primarily LA
- 4:06Speaker 4: is moving here. Thousands of LA people a month are
- 4:09Speaker 4: moving to Las Vegas. And Summerland is where the ones
- 4:12Speaker 4: who have money are all moving. And that's why the
- 4:14Speaker 4: houses have exploded in prices here. I was out looking
- 4:18Speaker 4: at houses over the weekend with a friend as a realtor,
- 4:20Speaker 4: and I just wanted to see what was out there.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And I just had no idea that every house that's
- 4:26Speaker 4: you know that's nice. Now in a gated community in
- 4:28Speaker 4: Summerland is three to six million dollars, most of them
- 4:32Speaker 4: four and five and six million dollars. Very few three
- 4:34Speaker 4: million dollar ones available anymore. Really nice houses are all
- 4:37Speaker 4: going for five or six million dollars out here, which
- 4:40Speaker 4: was shocking to me. And then I saw that one
- 4:42Speaker 4: condo just sold for twenty one million, the highest priced
- 4:46Speaker 4: condo in the history of Las Vegas.
- 4:47Speaker 3: And there are.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Several homes in the thirty to forty million dollar range
- 4:51Speaker 4: in Summerland now.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And it's all.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Because people are moving here because the tax rate is zero.
- 4:57Speaker 4: That's why they're moving here. You know, it's it's prettier
- 5:00Speaker 4: in other places. It's prettier in Florida, it's prettier in California.
- 5:04Speaker 4: It's even prettier in Washington and Oregon. It's beautiful in
- 5:08Speaker 4: some of those places, not for me. I like sun
- 5:12Speaker 4: out three hundred days a year, three hundred thirty days
- 5:14Speaker 4: a year. You go to Oregon and Washington, the sun's
- 5:16Speaker 4: never out right. So for me, those places are pretty,
- 5:19Speaker 4: but they're very green. It rains a lot, so they're
- 5:22Speaker 4: very green, but they're also very humid and Florida ridiculously humid.
- 5:27Speaker 4: It rains every afternoon the whole summer, and here it
- 5:30Speaker 4: almost never rains, and it's always sun. Sunshines always out,
- 5:33Speaker 4: sky's always blue, and no humidity, and there's no bugs.
- 5:37Speaker 4: You have no flying giant cockroaches like they do in Florida.
- 5:41Speaker 4: So I wouldn't live in Florida. I like it here.
- 5:43Speaker 4: But believe me, the reason people move here is one, two, three, four,
- 5:48Speaker 4: five through number eight hundred is because of taxes. If
- 5:52Speaker 4: the taxes are zero, they will come, just like that
- 5:55Speaker 4: famous movie. If you build it, they will come. If
- 5:57Speaker 4: you reduce the taxes to zero, they will come. And
- 6:00Speaker 4: by the way, the guy who bought the twenty one
- 6:02Speaker 4: million dollar condo is worth eight billion dollars and lived
- 6:05Speaker 4: in la and he moved here, and he said, it's
- 6:08Speaker 4: amazing to think that I built my fortune in California
- 6:10Speaker 4: and they chased me out of my own state. So
- 6:13Speaker 4: a lot of wild things are happening in Las Vegas.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It is not your grandfather's Las Vegas. It's not what
- 6:18Speaker 4: you think of when you think of Vegas. You think
- 6:20Speaker 4: of the Strip, and you think of lots of poor
- 6:23Speaker 4: people and lots of crime. And homeless people, yeah, around
- 6:25Speaker 4: the strip, But in Summerland, it's not like that at all.
- 6:28Speaker 3: It's Beverly Hills.
- 6:29Speaker 4: It's beautiful, and everyone's waking up to that fact. And
- 6:32Speaker 4: it's becoming one of the hottest places to live in
- 6:34Speaker 4: the United States of America if you have money. It's
- 6:36Speaker 4: the place people come to if they have money, Summerland
- 6:39Speaker 4: to avoid taxes. So, you know, Bravo Las Vegas, bravo.
- 6:45Speaker 4: So I was reading this story about speaking of La.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Perfect timing this socialist woman running for mayor of La
- 6:52Speaker 4: against Karen Bass, who's also a socialist idiot, a socialist moron,
- 6:58Speaker 4: who thought it was more important to to go to
- 7:00Speaker 4: Africa to attend to President's in auguration in Africa. When
- 7:05Speaker 4: she knew the worst windstorm in the history of La
- 7:07Speaker 4: was headed towards Los Angeles in another day, she left
- 7:11Speaker 4: anyway for Africa. And then the entire Pack Palisades burned
- 7:14Speaker 4: to the ground, and fam Malibu burned to the ground.
- 7:17Speaker 4: And by the way, both houses I used to live
- 7:18Speaker 4: in that I used to own. I owned them both,
- 7:21Speaker 4: so I didn't rent them. I owned two houses in Malibu.
- 7:23Speaker 4: They both burned to the ground. God don't exist anymore.
- 7:27Speaker 4: So Karen Bass left it. No water in the hydrants,
- 7:30Speaker 4: no water available, and the fire chiefs of lesbian And
- 7:35Speaker 4: she's in Africa at a president's inauguration. You wonder why
- 7:38Speaker 4: the place burned down, And then they won't issue any permits.
- 7:40Speaker 4: No one could rebuild, but people coming in and buying
- 7:43Speaker 4: up the lands, they could build low income housing.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Maybe that was the plan for the beginning. Anyone ever
- 7:47Speaker 3: think about that.
- 7:48Speaker 4: So this idiot's running against that idiot, this socialist boron
- 7:53Speaker 4: is running against that socialist moron, this ignorant socialist moron,
- 7:59Speaker 4: dim wit Asia and is running. It'st the ignorant socialist,
- 8:02Speaker 4: dimwit moron, black person Karen Bass and the dimwit Asian
- 8:07Speaker 4: whose name is Ray Huang. She's on a local radio
- 8:12Speaker 4: show k NX News, and the reporter starts to asking
- 8:17Speaker 4: your questions and he says, you know, how are you
- 8:20Speaker 4: going to pay for a lisson. She says, well, we'll
- 8:22Speaker 4: defund the police. So that's the first thing she said,
- 8:25Speaker 4: that's idiotic. And then she pointed out that the police
- 8:28Speaker 4: are busy hiring, you know, hiring so many people.
- 8:31Speaker 3: They've doubled their staff without.
- 8:33Speaker 4: The city's approval, she says, and he points out that's
- 8:36Speaker 4: not true.
- 8:36Speaker 3: There's nothing doubled.
- 8:38Speaker 4: But they're tentatively seeking to hire two and our forty
- 8:40Speaker 4: officers could be because it's a massive crime wave in
- 8:43Speaker 4: LA and they have too few officers. They're not doubling
- 8:46Speaker 4: their officers. They have too few. But this is just
- 8:49Speaker 4: a proposal. It hasn't even passed yet. She doesn't know
- 8:51Speaker 4: what she's talking about. And then he quizzed her on
- 8:53Speaker 4: her qualifications to lead the city of Los Angeles, and
- 8:58Speaker 4: she got really pissed, and she's I'm a neighbor here
- 9:00Speaker 4: in LA. I'm a mother here in LA. I'm a
- 9:03Speaker 4: community organizer here in LA. I've been here over ten
- 9:06Speaker 4: years organizing our community members. That should be resume enough.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I mean, his perfect example. Trump built skyscrapers, the most beautiful,
- 9:17Speaker 4: luxury skyscraper buildings in the world, and luxury amazing golf
- 9:22Speaker 4: courses and office buildings and hotels, and this moron, it
- 9:27Speaker 4: goes door to doors a community organizer, just like Obama,
- 9:30Speaker 4: and they think they're qualified. So this reporter laid out
- 9:34Speaker 4: some of the pressing job requirements she would have to
- 9:36Speaker 4: tackle if elected. This includes a thirteen billion dollar city
- 9:39Speaker 4: budget and major departments just as the LA Department of
- 9:42Speaker 4: Water and Power, and he asked Hong how Hwang, how
- 9:46Speaker 4: she plans to take on such a responsibility, and her
- 9:49Speaker 4: response was, I'm gonna do it.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I'm excited to get started.
- 9:53Speaker 4: These people have their answers are so juvenile and pathetic,
- 9:58Speaker 4: and this is who people vote for, Like in New
- 10:00Speaker 4: York with zoorn Mondami, same thing, and the reporter responded
- 10:05Speaker 4: by pointing out that she said I'm gonna do it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: You know, she compared.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Herself to Zobron MONDAMII in New York, and the reporter
- 10:12Speaker 4: pointed out that Madami had at least experienced as a
- 10:15Speaker 4: state assemblymen, which is not much but dwarfs anything Wong has.
- 10:20Speaker 3: She completely lost it at that point.
- 10:22Speaker 4: This is exactly the kind of pushback that we get
- 10:24Speaker 4: from media people like you. Then she made a blunder
- 10:27Speaker 4: that a little child could avoid. She somehow got her
- 10:29Speaker 4: own age wrong, saying.
- 10:31Speaker 3: She was forty two, when in fact she's forty three
- 10:34Speaker 3: years old, and that was the end of her interview.
- 10:36Speaker 3: She got her age wrong.
- 10:38Speaker 4: So you're dealing with juvenile, delusional, naive, communist radical morons
- 10:46Speaker 4: who have no idea. What they're talking about. They don't
- 10:49Speaker 4: even know their own age. And if you elect them.
- 10:52Speaker 3: They're gonna put all of us in jail.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Look at poor Tina Peters. Oh my gosh, she got
- 10:58Speaker 4: assaulted in prison. And at this point they say they're
- 11:02Speaker 4: gonna press charges against her. Of course they are, because
- 11:05Speaker 4: President Trump partner on the federal level. They need some
- 11:08Speaker 4: real serious state charges. So they set her up to
- 11:11Speaker 4: be attacked. And when she hit back, she didn't even
- 11:14Speaker 4: hit what she pushed back. They're gonna say she assaulted
- 11:17Speaker 4: the other person who they must have paid or given privileges.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Maybe some guard is having sex with the other gal,
- 11:24Speaker 4: and he sent the other gal over to hit Pourteina Peters,
- 11:28Speaker 4: a seventy year old gold star mom, And when she pushed.
- 11:30Speaker 3: The woman off her, they arrested her. In other words,
- 11:33Speaker 3: she's in prison. So they sent her to the gulag.
- 11:36Speaker 4: She's in solitary now, solitary for pushing back against a
- 11:41Speaker 4: thug that tried to beat her. They need new charges
- 11:44Speaker 4: to keep her in prison for nine years for nothing.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Be right back, all.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Right, A special treat for you.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I want to introduce you to a real hero of
- 11:55Speaker 4: the American energy industry.
- 11:57Speaker 2: A legend.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Mark Brunner, founder and CEO of the Lost Soldier Oil
- 12:01Speaker 4: and Gas in the United States.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Lost Soldier is the last.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Major BCGA basin centered gas accumulation. This is code for
- 12:11Speaker 4: a monster field where gas or oil is in a basin.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Which makes the drilling and production much easier.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Mark, you're allegend in the oil industry, in the gas industry.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Tell us about your track record.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Well, I'm a second generation oil and gas guy. My
- 12:26Speaker 5: father in the early nineteen fifties started a company called
- 12:29Speaker 5: tech Star. It later became Texas Oil and Gas. When
- 12:32Speaker 5: it sold out to US Steel, it was the largest
- 12:35Speaker 5: independent in the world. Dell High Pipelines was the largest
- 12:38Speaker 5: gas distribution system in the United States when it sold
- 12:41Speaker 5: out to a US Steel. I worked with him for
- 12:44Speaker 5: four years. I've been in the oil and gas ever since.
- 12:47Speaker 5: You would probably know me better as the chairman of
- 12:50Speaker 5: Ultra Petroleum, and Ultra had a pretty good track record,
- 12:55Speaker 5: which you're very familiar with.
- 12:56Speaker 4: I think, well, I think ten thousand dollars investor in
- 12:59Speaker 4: ALTI thank turned it into thirteen million dollars.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Is that correct? In the nine year run of your
- 13:05Speaker 2: publicly traded company, yeah, at the high that's true.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Ten thousand dollars turn into thirteen million. That means one
- 13:10Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars turn into one hundred and thirty million.
- 13:13Speaker 2: That's an incredible track record.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Now tell me.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Why this deal lost Soldier. This project is so special.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I hear about projects and deals all the time. What
- 13:23Speaker 4: makes this one special?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Mark?
- 13:25Speaker 5: What's special about this is all the other basines of
- 13:28Speaker 5: the United States have been drilled. We've known for fifty
- 13:30Speaker 5: years what they are. This one could not be drilled
- 13:33Speaker 5: because there was a uranium mine out here. Until it
- 13:36Speaker 5: was reclimated three years ago. No one could drill it.
- 13:39Speaker 5: This is surrounded by large oil and gas fields with
- 13:43Speaker 5: billions of dollars of infrastructure, then at this point eighty
- 13:46Speaker 5: five percent empty. So we made this discovery. We are
- 13:50Speaker 5: the only operator in this field, and right now we
- 13:54Speaker 5: can see that we've got enough room for five hundred
- 13:56Speaker 5: horizontal wells out here with what we drilled so far. Exciting.
- 14:00Speaker 5: It's the new basin in the United States, And as
- 14:04Speaker 5: far as I'm concerned, this is an order of a
- 14:06Speaker 5: magnitude bigger than ultra petroleum, the one that I did.
- 14:10Speaker 4: All right, The website is Lost Soldier dot com.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Pretty simple stuff. Lost Soldier dot com.
- 14:16Speaker 4: The project forty thousand acres, took forty years to piece together.
- 14:20Speaker 4: It's called Lost Soldier Oil and Gas LLC. That's the
- 14:23Speaker 4: company that's the project. But the website Lost Soldier dot com.
- 14:28Speaker 4: If you're an a credit investor, Mark wants to hear
- 14:30Speaker 4: from you. If you want to hear more information, check
- 14:32Speaker 4: it out. Fill out the form and you get the
- 14:34Speaker 4: Lost Soldier. Mark and his people will get back to
- 14:37Speaker 4: you as CFO and let you know all the details
- 14:39Speaker 4: you need to know Lost.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Soldier dot com. Thanks Mark for being with us today.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Thank you Wayne.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Good to see you again.
- 15:02Speaker 4: All right, so everybody should do what I did late
- 15:05Speaker 4: last night, about midnight or so. I just put out
- 15:07Speaker 4: my last tweet of the night, my last post of
- 15:09Speaker 4: the night, and all my social media Free Tina Peters.
- 15:12Speaker 4: That's all I said, Free Tina Peters. Everybody should say
- 15:15Speaker 4: that it should start be the number one start to
- 15:17Speaker 4: be the number one trending tweet or a post at
- 15:20Speaker 4: social media around the country. And I want to give
- 15:23Speaker 4: you a couple of phone numbers to call. So get
- 15:25Speaker 4: your pens out if you can, even if you're driving
- 15:27Speaker 4: pull over the side of the road and take these
- 15:30Speaker 4: phone numbers down, because I've got the phone number for
- 15:32Speaker 4: the governor of Colorado and the Colorado Attorney General, and
- 15:35Speaker 4: we need to just overwhelm them with calls. Overwhelm them
- 15:38Speaker 4: with calls to say, you know, please get Tina Peters.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Out of the hole. Out of the she's in the hole.
- 15:44Speaker 4: She's in solitary because another inmate who was twenty years old,
- 15:48Speaker 4: assaulted a seventy year old woman, and they're charging the
- 15:50Speaker 4: seventy year old woman with doing something doing something wrong
- 15:54Speaker 4: and assaulting.
- 15:54Speaker 3: A twenty year old.
- 15:55Speaker 4: There's even video of Tina going into a closet in
- 15:59Speaker 4: the prison to put a water case in there, and
- 16:02Speaker 4: all of a sudden, this twenty year old appears out
- 16:04Speaker 4: of nowhere and you see some sort of altercation and
- 16:06Speaker 4: then Tina comes out of the closet pushing the twenty
- 16:09Speaker 4: year old and that's the only thing you can see.
- 16:11Speaker 4: And that's called assault with intent to hurt bodily injury.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I mean, you got to be joking a seven year
- 16:17Speaker 4: old assault to the twenty year old when the twenty
- 16:19Speaker 4: year old attacked her in a closet. Colorado Governor pull us.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Let me give you the phone number. Please take this down.
- 16:25Speaker 4: We've got to leave them thousands of messages. Colorado Governor
- 16:28Speaker 4: pull US three oh three eight six six twenty four
- 16:32Speaker 4: seventy one, three oh three eight six six twenty four
- 16:35Speaker 4: seventy one, and then Colorado Attorney General.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I don't even know what attorney general's name is. I
- 16:39Speaker 3: don't really care.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Just leave a message seven to two oh area code
- 16:43Speaker 4: five oh eight six thousand, seven to two oh five
- 16:46Speaker 4: oh eight six thousand for the Colorado Attorney General and
- 16:50Speaker 4: then for the Colorado governor poll US three oh three
- 16:53Speaker 4: eight six six twenty four seventy one. You got to
- 16:56Speaker 4: call them and say, we got to get Tina Peters
- 16:58Speaker 4: out of solitary and assault anybody.
- 17:01Speaker 3: We got to get her to a safe place, a safe.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Jail cell, a wing of the jail that may be
- 17:07Speaker 4: protective custody. And of course they've got to let her
- 17:11Speaker 4: go nine years in prison for a nonviolent crime.
- 17:14Speaker 3: What's the nonviolent crime? What did she do? What exactly
- 17:17Speaker 3: did she do? Who did she defraud, whose money did
- 17:19Speaker 3: she take? Who did she hurt? None of that ever happened.
- 17:23Speaker 4: She was a government official, an election official, and she
- 17:26Speaker 4: saved the proof of a stolen election in twenty twenty,
- 17:30Speaker 4: and for that, the Democrats want to lock her away
- 17:32Speaker 4: for life, make her die in prison because she's seventy.
- 17:35Speaker 4: When nine years in prison, she'll be about eighty when
- 17:37Speaker 4: they let her go, and they're putting her through torture
- 17:39Speaker 4: in prison, and she'll die and the secret will hit her.
- 17:43Speaker 4: No one will ever find out how the Democrats stole
- 17:46Speaker 4: the twenty twenty election. She knows, and for that crime,
- 17:51Speaker 4: they've given her nine years in prison, and they're treating
- 17:53Speaker 4: her like a mass murderer. Truly amazing, truly amazing. By
- 17:59Speaker 4: the numbers, Trump's second term first year, Okay, he's been
- 18:04Speaker 4: in office one year as of today. Since President Trump
- 18:08Speaker 4: took offs in January twenty twenty five, Let's look at
- 18:11Speaker 4: the S and P Index. It rose nearly sixteen percent,
- 18:15Speaker 4: so fantastic in the past twelve months. The Dow jones
- 18:18Speaker 4: up thirteen percent, NASDEK up twenty percent. How about economic
- 18:22Speaker 4: growth in general, because the stock market is great, but
- 18:25Speaker 4: it's not the whole economy economic growth. The US economic
- 18:29Speaker 4: growth accelerate and exceed economists expectations in twenty twenty five
- 18:33Speaker 4: avoided what they said was a certain recession. GDP grew
- 18:37Speaker 4: by three point eight percent and the second quarter, four
- 18:39Speaker 4: point three percent in the third quarter, and they're projecting
- 18:43Speaker 4: it'll be five point four percent in the fourth quarter.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Not me, not Republicans, not Trump, not Trump's office, but
- 18:50Speaker 4: rather the Atlanta Fed, who makes these predictions for every president,
- 18:53Speaker 4: for every quarter, is predicting five point four percent. So
- 18:56Speaker 4: let's just say five percent economic growth in the fourth quarter.
- 18:59Speaker 3: That's out of this world.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Inflation reached nine point one percent in twenty twenty two,
- 19:05Speaker 4: maybe as bad as we've ever had in the history
- 19:07Speaker 4: of this country is certainly modern history. Inflation rates were
- 19:11Speaker 4: much much lower under Trump. I'm looking at the graph.
- 19:13Speaker 4: They're straight down. Annual raid of inflation in twenty twenty
- 19:17Speaker 4: five began at three percent, fell to two point three
- 19:19Speaker 4: in April, and then in November December slowed sharply to
- 19:24Speaker 4: two point seven percent, thanks mainly to falling gas prices.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Trade. The trade deficit.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Fell from one hundred and thirty six billion to twenty
- 19:35Speaker 4: nine billion October, the lowest level in sixteen years. Employment
- 19:42Speaker 4: we added five hundred and eighty four thousand jobs in total,
- 19:45Speaker 4: averaging forty nine thousand a month. But don't forget Trump
- 19:49Speaker 4: killed hundreds of thousands of government jobs. And don't forget
- 19:53Speaker 4: that people born in the United States jobs went up
- 19:57Speaker 4: by two point five million.
- 19:58Speaker 3: People who are ill.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Legal aliens went down by one point five million. Gas prices,
- 20:04Speaker 4: as I explained, that's part of inflation, way way down. UH,
- 20:08Speaker 4: mortgage rates going way way down. When Trump took over
- 20:12Speaker 4: the thirty year fixed rate with seven percent, it's now
- 20:15Speaker 4: slid below six percent. Everything you could border security, I mean,
- 20:20Speaker 4: the border is sealed and nobody's coming in greatest border
- 20:23Speaker 4: in literally one hundred years. So by any measure and
- 20:28Speaker 4: any chart, any graph, Trump has had an incredibly successful
- 20:32Speaker 4: year one of his second term.
- 20:35Speaker 3: We'll be right back, Wayne rod.

- 21:55Speaker 3: All right, sway out on the root, Root the Root,
- 21:57Speaker 3: the root is on fire. Welcome back to the show.
- 22:00Speaker 4: A great guest coming up, a pastor who was formerly
- 22:03Speaker 4: the pastor of the church that was attacked in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
- 22:08Speaker 4: just in the last forty eight hours. I guess was
- 22:10Speaker 4: on Sunday, so it was just a couple of days ago.
- 22:13Speaker 4: We'll have him on in just one second. Let me
- 22:15Speaker 4: mention sponsor the show VRA Vertical Research Advisory. It's funny
- 22:20Speaker 4: because the results of Kip are just studying Kip Herritch.
- 22:25Speaker 4: He founded this global investment and economic newsletter called Vertical
- 22:29Speaker 4: Research Advisory, and we just call it VRA for short.
- 22:33Speaker 4: And not only was he up thirty five percent last
- 22:35Speaker 4: year for the year, but he's been up eighteen excuse me,
- 22:40Speaker 4: nineteen out of twenty two years. Nineteen out of the
- 22:43Speaker 4: twenty two years he's been in business. He's beaten the
- 22:45Speaker 4: stock market. And there was a story in a Wall
- 22:48Speaker 4: Street publication Barns, which said, the average money manager loses
- 22:52Speaker 4: to the market about ninety percent of the time. You
- 22:54Speaker 4: be better off just investing in the S ANDB or
- 22:58Speaker 4: the Nasdaq because they beat the money manager's ninety percent
- 23:01Speaker 4: of the time. But he beats the market almost ninety
- 23:04Speaker 4: percent of the time with his top picks.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Really incredible record. Up thirty five percent last year, and.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I believe was fifty percent the year before and twenty
- 23:11Speaker 4: five percent the year before that. Incredible record. But I've
- 23:15Speaker 4: watched him for twenty two years. He recommended gold at
- 23:17Speaker 4: three hundred and fifty dollars an ounce.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I was dumb.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I didn't start buying it till it was four hundred,
- 23:22Speaker 4: and he recommended bitcoin at two thousand, and I was
- 23:25Speaker 4: really dumb and didn't start buying bitcoin until it.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Was fifty two thousand.
- 23:28Speaker 4: But of course now it's you know, in the range
- 23:30Speaker 4: of ninety to one hundred thousand for the last month,
- 23:32Speaker 4: and it was his high as one hundred and twenty
- 23:34Speaker 4: five thousand late last year. So you know, Kip has
- 23:37Speaker 4: made me a lot of money, and he hit a
- 23:39Speaker 4: lot of winners and his record's amazing, and he does
- 23:42Speaker 4: not take your money. You just pay for his newsletter
- 23:45Speaker 4: and then you manage your own money. He has nothing
- 23:47Speaker 4: to do with it, never touches your money. All you
- 23:50Speaker 4: do is read is advice and it's a great way
- 23:51Speaker 4: to start each day. I never start my day without
- 23:54Speaker 4: reading Kip's newsletter, which is in my email inbox every morning.
- 23:58Speaker 4: So just go to vra and com. You'll get his
- 24:01Speaker 4: best selling book, The Big Bribe automatically for free because
- 24:04Speaker 4: you're a fan of Wayne Root, and you get a
- 24:05Speaker 4: free two week membership and it's out every day, five
- 24:09Speaker 4: days a week, Monday through Friday, and you'll read it
- 24:10Speaker 4: for two weeks, ten of his newsletters, and at that
- 24:13Speaker 4: point you'll make a decision whether you want to stay
- 24:16Speaker 4: or not, and it's up to you. But you know,
- 24:18Speaker 4: I think you'll stay for life like I have for
- 24:19Speaker 4: twenty two years. It's just amazing. You can't make your
- 24:23Speaker 4: own stock picks. You can't decide whether gold's going up
- 24:25Speaker 4: or down, whether he needs to buy or sell. I
- 24:28Speaker 4: don't think anymore. I just do whatever Kip tells me
- 24:30Speaker 4: to do. Vra insider dot com vra insider dot com

- 24:35Speaker 3: Weeks free all right.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Pastor Joe Rigney's with us, former pastor of the City's
- 24:40Speaker 4: Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota from twenty fifteen to twenty
- 24:43Speaker 4: twenty three, on we Welcome to the show, Pastor.
- 24:46Speaker 3: How are you welcome.
- 24:47Speaker 6: I'm doing well. Thanks for having me.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Yeah. Why did you leave? By the way, you're two
- 24:51Speaker 4: young to retire. Why aren't you still pastor?
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:54Speaker 6: Well I was. I was a part time pastor at
- 24:56Speaker 6: the church.
- 24:56Speaker 7: I was also a professor, and I got a new
- 24:58Speaker 7: professor job teaching in Idaho. So I move go west,
- 25:04Speaker 7: young man, I think is the word that they told me.
- 25:06Speaker 3: To do, got it?
- 25:06Speaker 4: Well, Idaho's a great place to go. A lot of
- 25:08Speaker 4: people move in Idaho, no question about that. A lot
- 25:10Speaker 4: of people living where I live, Las Vegas, Summerland and
- 25:12Speaker 4: Las Vegas. A lot of people are moving here. The
- 25:14Speaker 4: whole la is moving here. And an awful lot of
- 25:17Speaker 4: people from all over the West are moving to Idaho.
- 25:20Speaker 4: So you've picked a good growing place. So you're at a.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Good place to get out of Minneapolis.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Your former church, City's church in Saint Paul had its
- 25:29Speaker 4: service disrupted by anti ICE protesters on Sunday, and they
- 25:33Speaker 4: were yelling at the children and yelling at the families.
- 25:36Speaker 4: It was all coordinated, it appears by Don Lemon, former
- 25:39Speaker 4: seeing and anchor your reaction to what happened.
- 25:44Speaker 7: It was appalling. You know, I know the pastors there
- 25:47Speaker 7: very well. They're good friends of mine. I know a
- 25:49Speaker 7: lot of the people there, and so to see these people,
- 25:53Speaker 7: these are just normal Christian people. You know, this is
- 25:56Speaker 7: a normal evangelical church, Bible believing church.
- 26:00Speaker 6: We planted the church and the priorities were very simple.
- 26:02Speaker 7: We want to worship Jesus, we want to love each other,
- 26:05Speaker 7: we want to seek the good of our neighbors.
- 26:07Speaker 6: That's the base.
- 26:08Speaker 7: That's what These are just normal Christian people and so
- 26:11Speaker 7: to see them attacked and harassed in this way, and
- 26:14Speaker 7: like you said it was coordinated, It was planned. This
- 26:16Speaker 7: wasn't you know, a demonstration that got out of control.
- 26:19Speaker 7: This was intentional and deliberate, organized with the media, as
- 26:23Speaker 7: you mentioned Don Lemon and Black Lives Matter and other,
- 26:26Speaker 7: you know, sort of organizations like that. I'm now seeing
- 26:29Speaker 7: reports that perhaps even people connected to the Saint Paul
- 26:33Speaker 7: government were in the tendance with the with the protesters.
- 26:37Speaker 7: And so it's really appalling to see a church service disrupted.
- 26:40Speaker 7: And as my former colleague, the pastor there said, you
- 26:44Speaker 7: watch it.
- 26:44Speaker 6: He's just shame on you.
- 26:46Speaker 7: This is shameful to disrupt a worship service of Christians.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, you mentioned the interesting word you said, BLM Black
- 26:54Speaker 4: Lives Matter, Being that you were a pastor at that
- 26:57Speaker 4: church from two thousand fifteen to twenty twenty three, that
- 27:01Speaker 4: means you were there in Minneapolis for George Floyd riots,
- 27:05Speaker 4: the BLM riots.
- 27:06Speaker 2: What was that?
- 27:07Speaker 4: Like? I know, they just tried to burn down the
- 27:09Speaker 4: whole townstown Minneapolis.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Was that nearly near where your church was located?
- 27:14Speaker 7: It was so our church building was in Saint Paul,
- 27:17Speaker 7: but my family lived in South Minneapolis, you know, a
- 27:20Speaker 7: mile or so from what's now called George Floyd Square.
- 27:23Speaker 7: And you know, immediately after, I remember, all the gas
- 27:26Speaker 7: stations anywhere near us had been burned to the ground.
- 27:29Speaker 6: We had to drive, you know, ten minutes.
- 27:30Speaker 7: To go get gased because they'd burned down all the
- 27:33Speaker 7: gas stations.
- 27:33Speaker 6: And I do think that there's a connection.
- 27:35Speaker 7: I think that a number of these organizations that formed
- 27:38Speaker 7: and coalesced during that time have found a new cause
- 27:41Speaker 7: and they're they're up their tactics now. They not only
- 27:45Speaker 7: are they disrupting law enforcement activities in the Twin Cities,
- 27:48Speaker 7: which they've been doing for a number of months, but
- 27:51Speaker 7: now they're actually following law enforcement agents to where they
- 27:54Speaker 7: worship and harassing their families, intimidating their friends, seeking nunc
- 28:01Speaker 7: simply because you know, these these men and women are
- 28:05Speaker 7: seeking to enforce our nation's laws. I mean, they're they're
- 28:08Speaker 7: they're trying to remove rapists and criminals on those who
- 28:12Speaker 7: and those who are here legally from our streets, like
- 28:14Speaker 7: it's a basic function of government. And instead of assisting
- 28:18Speaker 7: in that, these organizations and the politicians who are encouraging
- 28:23Speaker 7: them are harassing normal law abiding citizens. It's true, It's
- 28:27Speaker 7: it's really really is shameful.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Did you see the video from I was yesterday or
- 28:32Speaker 4: day before, and uh, the ICE was moving in on
- 28:35Speaker 4: a certain block and a certain building in that building
- 28:38Speaker 4: was a child rapist, and and all the protesters were
- 28:42Speaker 4: trying to block them and stop them and calling the names,
- 28:45Speaker 4: and the the Ice guy, you know, the ice officer,
- 28:48Speaker 4: ice agent said to them, do you understand we're here
- 28:52Speaker 4: to pick up a child rapist? And and you just
- 28:55Speaker 4: you know, you talk about the word shame. I mean,
- 28:58Speaker 4: what do you think as a pastor when you hear
- 29:00Speaker 4: that people are trying to they'd rather of the child
- 29:03Speaker 4: rapist stay among you and rape your children, then kick
- 29:07Speaker 4: them out of the country. Uh, they're so liberal and
- 29:09Speaker 4: so radical and so nutty. I don't know what to
- 29:12Speaker 4: say anymore.
- 29:13Speaker 7: It's insanity, it is and I and I honestly a
- 29:17Speaker 7: big part of it is just that I think, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 7: the president has broken people's brains these sort of activities.
- 29:23Speaker 6: You know, a number of years ago, you know, at various.
- 29:26Speaker 7: Times, democratic politicians have actually tried to do this sort
- 29:29Speaker 7: of thing, at least removed the violent criminals who are
- 29:32Speaker 7: here illegally and have been aided and encouraged by local
- 29:35Speaker 7: law enforcement.
- 29:36Speaker 6: They're there presently.
- 29:37Speaker 7: You know, in many states they're they're getting assistants from
- 29:40Speaker 7: local police and local officials.
- 29:44Speaker 6: Places like Florida and Texas are assisting ice.
- 29:47Speaker 7: It's it's in Minneapolis and places like that where the
- 29:50Speaker 7: government itself is hostile, is refusing to uphold the law,
- 29:52Speaker 7: refusing to assist, and because of that, there's this increased tension.
- 29:56Speaker 7: And when the past this is just something you know
- 29:58Speaker 7: as a pastor, when when you're pas and emotions are
- 30:01Speaker 7: in the driver's seat, people don't think clearly, they don't
- 30:03Speaker 7: act wisely, and you have this kind of chaos. You
- 30:06Speaker 7: just unleash chaos into society when passions are in the
- 30:10Speaker 7: driver's seat. And I think that's what boiled over in
- 30:12Speaker 7: a coordinated way on Sunday.
- 30:15Speaker 4: You know, it's pretty clear. And I don't want to
- 30:16Speaker 4: get you in age trouble here, but it's clear. You're
- 30:18Speaker 4: a conservative, right, I mean, are.
- 30:19Speaker 3: You would you? Are you allowed to say that you're
- 30:21Speaker 3: politically conservative? Is that okay?
- 30:24Speaker 6: It is? It is? I mean to I understand why
- 30:26Speaker 6: some Christians kind of balk at that. I think they
- 30:29Speaker 6: wish we.
- 30:29Speaker 7: Lived in a society in which sort of the basic
- 30:31Speaker 7: moral foundations were all agreed upon, and we were debating
- 30:34Speaker 7: marginal tax rates and things like that, and so you
- 30:37Speaker 7: could sort of be nonpartisan and it didn't matter, you know,
- 30:40Speaker 7: what political party you voted for. Live in that day, yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 7: but now it matters. We live in a day and
- 30:44Speaker 7: age in which fundamental moral issues are and worldview metaphysical issues.
- 30:49Speaker 6: What is a man? What is a woman? Can a
- 30:51Speaker 6: man turn into a woman?
- 30:52Speaker 7: These kind of questions, should we have a border, can
- 30:54Speaker 7: we enforce that border? These sort of basic questions of
- 30:57Speaker 7: law and order of human biology are.
- 31:01Speaker 6: Up for grabs in our society.
- 31:02Speaker 7: And so no, I am unapologetically a conservative Christian and you're.
- 31:07Speaker 4: In the right place. You can say that in Idaho.
- 31:09Speaker 4: But were you able to say that in Minneapolis? Were
- 31:11Speaker 4: you able to talk politics, you know, from the pulpit
- 31:15Speaker 4: or even to the parishoners after the service? Or is
- 31:18Speaker 4: it indifferent being an Idaho than Minneapolis?
- 31:21Speaker 7: There are some differences, but honestly, you know, for most people,
- 31:24Speaker 7: they don't go to church to hear politics.
- 31:25Speaker 6: I mean maybe they go to certain churches.
- 31:27Speaker 7: Certain certain churches bring politicians in, you know, off in
- 31:30Speaker 7: black churches bring lots of.
- 31:31Speaker 6: Politicians in to hold political rallies and churches.
- 31:34Speaker 7: But all the churches I've ever been a policy, including
- 31:36Speaker 7: my current church in Idaho, politics is very far from
- 31:38Speaker 7: our concern. We want to help people, you know, love
- 31:41Speaker 7: Jesus and love their wives, and love their kids and
- 31:43Speaker 7: be good neighbors.
- 31:44Speaker 6: So we just want to preach the Bible, which is
- 31:45Speaker 6: what this church was doing on Sunday.
- 31:48Speaker 7: But yes, I was involved in some political things back
- 31:50Speaker 7: in twenty thirteen, when Minnesota sought to legalize same sex marriage.
- 31:55Speaker 7: I spoke at the capital as a pastor, saying this
- 31:57Speaker 7: is abominable and you must not do this.
- 31:59Speaker 6: You need to uphold Marria. Of course they didn't.
- 32:01Speaker 7: They chose to go down that rate and now they're
- 32:04Speaker 7: transit the kids and doing all other sorts of insanity.
- 32:06Speaker 6: So we were able to be involved. But but you
- 32:08Speaker 6: wish you didn't have to.
- 32:09Speaker 7: You wish that it was simply a given that the
- 32:13Speaker 7: basic foundations of morality and common sense were baked into society,
- 32:16Speaker 7: and then pastor's job would be to say, hey, you're
- 32:19Speaker 7: a sinner in need of grace, You're a senter in
- 32:20Speaker 7: need of a savior.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Let me introduce you to Jesus. He died for your sins.
- 32:23Speaker 7: That's what I want to spend my time doing, not
- 32:25Speaker 7: talking about immigration or having to you know, comfort people
- 32:30Speaker 7: because hey, there might be a demonstration.
- 32:31Speaker 6: At our church next weekend.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Now listen, I totally understand what you're saying, and I
- 32:35Speaker 3: kind of agree with it. But don't forget the left.
- 32:37Speaker 4: The liberal pastors aren't afraid to preach politics, you know,
- 32:41Speaker 4: not just at black you know, black churches, but rather
- 32:43Speaker 4: you know, like I was born a Jew and I
- 32:45Speaker 4: was bar Mitzvaad. I now took Christ as my savior, right,
- 32:49Speaker 4: so I'm a very different kind of.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Jew and messianic Jew.
- 32:51Speaker 4: But the reality is that when I was bar Mitzvaad,
- 32:54Speaker 4: the rabbis would always give political.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Lectures in our synagogue.

- 33:09Speaker 3: Because their lectures were always so liberal.
- 33:11Speaker 4: So we should never be shy about being politically conservative

- 36:44Speaker 4: All right, Wayne Alaru, We'll go right back to Pastor
- 36:47Speaker 4: Joe Rigney, former pastor of the City's Church in Saint Paul,
- 36:50Speaker 4: Minnesota from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty three, as former
- 36:53Speaker 4: church had its service disrupted by anti ice protesters on Sunday,
- 36:59Speaker 4: yelling out and yelling at the children and the families.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Don Lemon was, uh, you know installed. What's that word?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Uh?
- 37:06Speaker 4: Uh, there's a word they always use in the military
- 37:09Speaker 4: where you're you're implanted.
- 37:11Speaker 3: I think inside the military unit.
- 37:13Speaker 4: He was like implanted inside the rioters slash protesters, slash agitators.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Uh.
- 37:19Speaker 4: And he may be indicted as we speak right now,
- 37:22Speaker 4: but we're gonna talk to Pastor Ragney a little bit
- 37:24Speaker 4: more about it.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Pastor Joe Rigney, welcome back.
- 37:27Speaker 1: There we go.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Thanks, getting kind of dark, getting kind of dark there.
- 37:30Speaker 4: We could barely we see you, though, we see you.
- 37:33Speaker 4: The ghost of Rigney, we see him. So, uh, what
- 37:37Speaker 4: what was your reaction when you heard what I said?
- 37:39Speaker 4: Is we're going to break that? You know, I was
- 37:40Speaker 4: born Jewish and the Jewish rabbis always preach liberal politics
- 37:44Speaker 4: from the pulpit, and of course black black pastors preach
- 37:48Speaker 4: liberal politics and bring in liberal politicians.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Why can't we do more of that as conservatives and churches.
- 37:55Speaker 7: Well, I think it depends on what you mean. So
- 37:57Speaker 7: I think in terms of the basic fundamentals. Of of course,
- 38:00Speaker 7: everything in that sense is political, like the basic foundations
- 38:03Speaker 7: of society. The family is the foundational unit of society.
- 38:06Speaker 7: Should that be preached in churches. Absolutely, The Bible speaks
- 38:09Speaker 7: directly to it. And I think you know, the way
- 38:12Speaker 7: that we talk about our relationship to politics is very simple.
- 38:15Speaker 7: We think the most political thing, the most important thing
- 38:17Speaker 7: we do every week is we worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 38:20Speaker 6: We worship God on the Lord's Day, and and and
- 38:23Speaker 6: part of with this.
- 38:24Speaker 7: Now, Christians pray, right, we say, your Kingdom Come, Your
- 38:26Speaker 7: will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 38:29Speaker 7: And so we go into church and it's like we're
- 38:31Speaker 7: entering God's presence in heaven and we're saying, Lord, the
- 38:33Speaker 7: way things run up here, the way that you want
- 38:35Speaker 7: them run up here, the way that the angels obey,
- 38:38Speaker 7: we want that to happen on earth.
- 38:40Speaker 6: And so we ask that you to bless it as
- 38:41Speaker 6: we go out from this place, to be salt and light,
- 38:45Speaker 6: and to.
- 38:45Speaker 7: Influence our communities for good, to love our neighbors, to
- 38:49Speaker 7: spread the gospel, all of those sorts of things. And
- 38:51Speaker 7: you know, for years, when I was at City's Church,
- 38:53Speaker 7: I think they still do this every Sunday. The pastor
- 38:56Speaker 7: ends the service with the great commission from Christ. He says,
- 38:59Speaker 7: all authority and have on earth has been given to Jesus,
- 39:01Speaker 7: not just authority in the church, authority everywhere.
- 39:04Speaker 6: God runs everything.
- 39:06Speaker 7: And go and make disciples, baptize people, teach them to
- 39:09Speaker 7: obey what Jesus has commanded.
- 39:10Speaker 6: That's your commission every week is to.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Go do that.
- 39:13Speaker 6: And so I think more Christians ought to do that.
- 39:15Speaker 7: And I'm grateful for like the pastor in question, that
- 39:19Speaker 7: the anti ice protesters were there to harass.
- 39:23Speaker 6: I'm grateful for him.
- 39:23Speaker 7: I'm grateful that he's felt the call years and years
- 39:26Speaker 7: ago to become a law enforcement officer. I'm grateful that
- 39:29Speaker 7: he's upheld justice, that he seeks to fulfill his vocation
- 39:33Speaker 7: to do what the Bible says that government officials should do,
- 39:36Speaker 7: which is to punish the wrongdoer and to be a
- 39:38Speaker 7: terror to evil conduct.
- 39:40Speaker 6: That's the kind of man I want.
- 39:41Speaker 7: He's a good man, and I'm grateful for him, and
- 39:43Speaker 7: I think more Christians should.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Be doing that, all right.
- 39:46Speaker 4: I would think the only way you can get involved
- 39:48Speaker 4: in politics in a subtle way is to have voter
- 39:50Speaker 4: registration drives around election time.
- 39:52Speaker 3: I don't see any wrong with that.
- 39:53Speaker 4: You guys ever think about things like that, because I
- 39:55Speaker 4: know at black churches they have voter registration drives, So
- 39:58Speaker 4: why shouldn't we.
- 39:59Speaker 3: You know, you don't tell him vote Republican, You just
- 40:01Speaker 3: register the vote.
- 40:02Speaker 4: You assume the people in your audience tend to be conservative,
- 40:05Speaker 4: and they'll vote the way they want to vote, and
- 40:06Speaker 4: they'll be good. So I think that's a way that
- 40:08Speaker 4: churches can be more involved and have voter registration drives.
- 40:11Speaker 8: At evangelical churches, yeah, you know, for you for years
- 40:15Speaker 8: at my current church, you know, our pastor has a
- 40:18Speaker 8: weekly newsletter and when it comes to around election time,
- 40:20Speaker 8: he's always making exhortations both about polding locations, how to
- 40:23Speaker 8: get registered.
- 40:24Speaker 7: The church, you know, points people in the right direction
- 40:26Speaker 7: precisely for that reason, because we want Christians to be
- 40:28Speaker 7: active citizens. We're fundamentally citizens of Heaven, yes, but but
- 40:32Speaker 7: this is now outpost of earth. Churches are outposts of
- 40:34Speaker 7: the heavenly Kingdom on earth, and we want to spread
- 40:38Speaker 7: the you know, God's ways and works wherever we are.
- 40:42Speaker 4: So last question is what's your message to conservative Christians
- 40:47Speaker 4: in a world that seems to have gone crazy that
- 40:49Speaker 4: you know, Democrats and liberals and government officials fight on
- 40:53Speaker 4: behalf of the criminals, and they want to punish the
- 40:56Speaker 4: good people who are law abiding American citizens. What is
- 41:00Speaker 4: your message to conservative Christians who are starting to lose faith.
- 41:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I think two fundamental things.
- 41:05Speaker 7: First, you should pray, and I think pray in then
- 41:08Speaker 7: act demand that your government officials fulfill their responsibilities. And
- 41:12Speaker 7: that means both enforcing the border as isis attempting to do,
- 41:15Speaker 7: and it also means enforcing laws against this kind of
- 41:17Speaker 7: harassment and disruption. So I'm grateful that the Trump administration,
- 41:20Speaker 7: at least to this point, sounds like they're going to
- 41:22Speaker 7: try to prosecute some people. I hope they follow through
- 41:24Speaker 7: on that. And then the personal words of Christians in
- 41:27Speaker 7: the face of Hey, could this happen at my church?
- 41:29Speaker 6: Do I need to be afraid? You have to remember
- 41:32Speaker 6: you go read your Bible, Go read the Book of Acts.
- 41:34Speaker 6: What is the Book of Acts filled with?
- 41:35Speaker 7: It's filled with riots, It's filled with mobs, It's filled
- 41:38Speaker 7: with threats against Christian leaders, It's filled with government officials
- 41:41Speaker 7: endorsing that harassment and that intimidation and how did that
- 41:44Speaker 7: early church respond?
- 41:45Speaker 6: They gathered to pray, and they knew God was in control.
- 41:48Speaker 6: And this is what they said.
- 41:50Speaker 7: In the Book of Acts, chapter four, we're told that
- 41:52Speaker 7: the early Church prayed in the face of threats. Lord,
- 41:54Speaker 7: look upon their threats and fill us with your Holy
- 41:57Speaker 7: Spirit so that we can continue to speak your word
- 41:59Speaker 7: with boldness. That's what's needed. Christian clarity, Christian courage, lifting
- 42:04Speaker 7: up Christ calling out sin, calling people to repentance. That's
- 42:08Speaker 7: what Christians need, Christian boldness. And I think God will
- 42:11Speaker 7: do it. He did it in the first century. He's
- 42:12Speaker 7: gonna do it in the twenty first century.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Well, that's a great way to add the show for tonight.
- 42:16Speaker 4: That's the end of our second hour, and that's the
- 42:17Speaker 4: end of our shoe. Pastor, Joe Rigney, I got to
- 42:20Speaker 4: tell you, it's gonna be a great compliment. I couldn't
- 42:22Speaker 4: ask for a better pastor than you. I wish you
- 42:24Speaker 4: were my pastor. You're a fantastic breath of fresh air.
- 42:28Speaker 4: You inspire me great energy. Every word you said I
- 42:32Speaker 4: agree with. Go get them, Go do a great job
- 42:35Speaker 4: Sunday and every Sunday for those people.
- 42:38Speaker 3: And I know they're very lucky to have you.
