- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, and welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. We'll be
- 0:28Speaker 1: your witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to
- 0:31Speaker 1: all things paranormal, weird and spooky. Guys, I'm so sorry
- 0:38Speaker 1: for not posting last week. I've been dealing with some stuff.
- 0:42Speaker 1: My ankle's been hurting and it's been so hard to
- 0:44Speaker 1: stand long enough to record. And on top of that,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I've been fighting a cold and my body made me
- 0:51Speaker 1: listen to it, so I've been doing my best to rest.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So again, I'm sorry, but sometimes you do have to rest.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Oh and if my voice sounds funny, now you know why.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I'm still getting over it. But hopefully it's not that bad.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Enough of that, let's get onto our first story. My
- 1:14Speaker 1: husband died in twenty twenty. After he died, I found
- 1:20Speaker 1: out a serious of very unpleasant things about him. It
- 1:25Speaker 1: was devastating and took me more than three years to
- 1:28Speaker 1: come to grips with it. God, I'm way too nosy
- 1:34Speaker 1: for my own good. I want to know what you
- 1:37Speaker 1: found out about him. I know it's none of my business,
- 1:40Speaker 1: but you can't start this story out like this and
- 1:44Speaker 1: expect me not to want to ask. He died in
- 1:50Speaker 1: August of twenty twenty and I sold her condo in
- 1:54Speaker 1: June of twenty twenty one. He had renovated the entire condo, kitchen,
- 2:01Speaker 1: both bathrooms, flooring, trim, doors, everything. It took nearly three years.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I have two small dogs, and when the realtor told
- 2:15Speaker 1: me someone was coming to see the property, I took
- 2:18Speaker 1: my dogs, locked the door and went outside. The realator
- 2:22Speaker 1: told me to be out for about thirty minutes. After
- 2:26Speaker 1: that period of time, I went back upstairs. The door
- 2:29Speaker 1: was locked. I entered, and when I did, it looked
- 2:33Speaker 1: as if people had been there. Doors were moved, the
- 2:37Speaker 1: laundry doors were wide open. I had closed them. They
- 2:41Speaker 1: were barn doors. I then got a text from the
- 2:45Speaker 1: realtor asking me why I didn't put the key in
- 2:48Speaker 1: the lock box on the main floor outside the people
- 2:53Speaker 1: couldn't get in with their realtor. I'll be honest, I
- 2:57Speaker 1: was in a very bad place after he died, particularly
- 3:02Speaker 1: after what I found and thinking in detail was not
- 3:06Speaker 1: something I was doing. Just losing a loved one will
- 3:11Speaker 1: make you feel out of it. So had on what
- 3:14Speaker 1: seems to be a really bad secret. I don't blame
- 3:17Speaker 1: you for forgetting something like the keys. I went to
- 3:22Speaker 1: the main washroom and saw that the bathroom Matt was
- 3:25Speaker 1: sitting over the tub, not the way I left it.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I touched it and felt water, almost like someone got
- 3:33Speaker 1: out of the shower and had been standing on it.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I do hope this is a ghost and not a
- 3:39Speaker 1: random person that decided to come into your condo, cause
- 3:43Speaker 1: that would be way scarier. It was a fairly big apartment,
- 3:50Speaker 1: two bedrooms and an office. When the dogs and I
- 3:54Speaker 1: were in bed at night, I could hear noises in
- 3:57Speaker 1: the kitchen after he died. Oh god, he died in
- 4:04Speaker 1: the apartment. I didn't realize that. As much as I
- 4:09Speaker 1: hope it's not your late husband, because of whatever it
- 4:13Speaker 1: is that clearly hurts you deep, I do hope it
- 4:16Speaker 1: is just a ghost in your place and not a weirdo.
- 4:20Speaker 1: As a girl, I'm getting scared for you. Well, if
- 4:26Speaker 1: this is your late husband, maybe you should let out
- 4:29Speaker 1: all of your hurt and grief while you were still there.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It could have been very therapeutic for you, if nothing else.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I was too afraid to get out of the bed.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It was a concrete building and we couldn't hear anything
- 4:45Speaker 1: people were doing in apartments near us, so hearing something
- 4:49Speaker 1: was very unusual. I moved in June of twenty twenty
- 4:54Speaker 1: one to a new condo. The first night there I
- 4:59Speaker 1: was alone. The dogs were being taken care of. I
- 5:03Speaker 1: was laying in bed, not asleep, laying on my side
- 5:07Speaker 1: at the edge, I felt someone brush past me. My
- 5:11Speaker 1: hair actually moved. It scared the hell out of me.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I lay there for a few minutes, afraid to move.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Finally I moved again, recently, far from where i'd been living.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Last Christmas Eve, I was in bed. My bedroom door
- 5:31Speaker 1: was open, and I clearly heard three knocks on that door.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It happened twice. This also really scared me. I have
- 5:41Speaker 1: never been one to think of the spirit world until recently.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Last Christmas, I made statements out loud and told him
- 5:50Speaker 1: to leave me alone. So far all has been good.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The last four years have been a real ride. I
- 6:01Speaker 1: am kind of happy you stood up for yourself and
- 6:04Speaker 1: told him to stop bothering you. And hey, look, telling
- 6:07Speaker 1: the spirit to stop seemed to help with the paranormal activity,
- 6:11Speaker 1: which is awesome since it clearly was getting to you.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I do wonder why he's there, Like, is he trying
- 6:21Speaker 1: to get your attention because he feels remorse for the
- 6:24Speaker 1: thing he did. And I hope it's not this is
- 6:28Speaker 1: he still trying to hurt you from beyond the grave.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Either way, I'm sorry for all of the hurt you
- 6:35Speaker 1: had to go through, but at least it seems you
- 6:38Speaker 1: are in a better place now. And again, I'm happy
- 6:42Speaker 1: the spirit left you alone, as that man doesn't need
- 6:47Speaker 1: to be bothering you, even from the other side. All right,
- 6:53Speaker 1: let's move on to our next story. My son scares me. Ooh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: sounds like we might get a spooky kid. Hey everyone,
- 7:05Speaker 1: so yeah, my kid scares me. There have been a
- 7:09Speaker 1: few incidents, but I will share the very first with you.
- 7:14Speaker 1: About two to three years ago, my son, who was
- 7:17Speaker 1: four at the time, was lying in my bed with
- 7:20Speaker 1: me and we were trying to fall asleep. He was
- 7:25Speaker 1: doing the usual kid thing when they're fighting their sleep,
- 7:29Speaker 1: rolling around, speaking gibberish, playing with his hands. Then all
- 7:35Speaker 1: of a sudden, he stops and I feel him sit
- 7:39Speaker 1: up in the bed. I am pretending to be asleep,
- 7:43Speaker 1: so I just stay still and quiet. Then I hear
- 7:47Speaker 1: him having a conversation, but I can only hear his side.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What did you say? What I'm trying to go to bed.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You get it's downstairs that way. No, I'm trying to
- 8:05Speaker 1: go to sleep. You go downstairs? What? Ugh, I can't
- 8:10Speaker 1: hear you come here? Oh, that baby is definitely seeing
- 8:16Speaker 1: and talking to someone or something, which I'm not surprised
- 8:21Speaker 1: because kids and animals can see things a lot of
- 8:23Speaker 1: adults can't. Their ego hasn't cut them off yet. And
- 8:31Speaker 1: that's when I jumped out of the bed and flipped
- 8:33Speaker 1: the bedroom lights on because he is not about to
- 8:37Speaker 1: invite whatever this thing is into bed with us. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: I asked him, buddy, who are you talking to? And
- 8:46Speaker 1: he points in the corner of the room and says
- 8:49Speaker 1: over there. And I said, baby, I cannot see who
- 8:54Speaker 1: it is. You need to tell me who it is.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Is it a boy a girl? The child looks at
- 9:01Speaker 1: me and says, monster. I know you probably lost it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: At that I had a moment a panic run through me,
- 9:12Speaker 1: But growing up I had many paranormal experiences myself. So
- 9:17Speaker 1: I sat with him and asked him, do you want
- 9:20Speaker 1: the monster to leave you alone? And he said yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 1: So I had him repeat after me, and we told
- 9:27Speaker 1: the monster to go away and that he is not
- 9:30Speaker 1: welcome in our home. My son decided to end it
- 9:33Speaker 1: with yeah, leave me alone, huh. I love that, And
- 9:38Speaker 1: I love that you didn't shut him down with what
- 9:40Speaker 1: he was seeing, just asking him what he was seeing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And even better, I love that you taught him how
- 9:47Speaker 1: to protect himself. Two minutes later, my son is sound asleep. I, however,
- 9:54Speaker 1: was up for a few hours after that, and this
- 9:59Speaker 1: was the beginning of my child saying absolutely creepy shit.
- 10:04Speaker 1: If you want more, let me know. Yep, you for
- 10:10Speaker 1: sure have a creepy kid on your hands. Good luck, mama,
- 10:14Speaker 1: You're about to have a crazy, weird ride on your hands.
- 10:19Speaker 1: At least you already know what it's like to deal
- 10:21Speaker 1: with the paranormal, so at least you can help him
- 10:23Speaker 1: with his own experiences. And you seem to already know
- 10:27Speaker 1: how to set boundaries with spirits, so at least you
- 10:30Speaker 1: already have that tool under your belt. All right, listen
- 10:36Speaker 1: for this next one. I couldn't help picking it. This
- 10:39Speaker 1: title had me cackling when I saw it. It's my
- 10:44Speaker 1: dead sister ratted me out to my mom. See what
- 10:48Speaker 1: I mean? How could I not pick this one? After
- 10:51Speaker 1: reading that title? Literally what it says, My older sister
- 10:57Speaker 1: passed away at five years old, a year before I
- 11:01Speaker 1: came along. My mom is super connected to her still
- 11:05Speaker 1: to this day, and I have quite a few stories
- 11:09Speaker 1: from her. I could chair this one makes me laugh now.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Though in my twenties I was smoking, my mom is
- 11:17Speaker 1: very anti drugs, so I only smoked when she was away.
- 11:24Speaker 1: A few days after returning from a night away, she
- 11:27Speaker 1: cornered me in the kitchen and told me she had
- 11:30Speaker 1: a dream about Tina. Tina told her I was smoking
- 11:34Speaker 1: wacky backy in the stream, and she wanted to ask
- 11:38Speaker 1: me if it was true. I convinced her it was
- 11:43Speaker 1: just a weird dream and absolutely was not, and we
- 11:47Speaker 1: moved on. Sorry Mom. Three days later, my mom came
- 11:54Speaker 1: bursting into my room at four a m. Shouting at
- 11:57Speaker 1: me that I was lying to her. Tina had come
- 12:01Speaker 1: back to her and told her I was lying and
- 12:04Speaker 1: that I am. I had to get up for work
- 12:08Speaker 1: at five, so I got up and made tea because
- 12:13Speaker 1: she was really angry, so I confessed all and she
- 12:17Speaker 1: went back to bed, annoyed at me for making her
- 12:20Speaker 1: doubt my sister more so than the smoking. So yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 1: my dad's sister raps me out to my parents. I'm
- 12:31Speaker 1: an only child, so I don't know much about siblings stuff,
- 12:34Speaker 1: but I have heard it's not uncommon for your siblings
- 12:37Speaker 1: to tell on you for things you're doing wrong. But
- 12:41Speaker 1: at least most people only have to worry about their
- 12:44Speaker 1: siblings telling on them if they find out. But to
- 12:47Speaker 1: have a sister you can't hide anything from and for
- 12:51Speaker 1: her to tell on you to your mom all the time,
- 12:54Speaker 1: that has to suck. Like you have no privacy in
- 12:59Speaker 1: that situation. And I would say tell her to stop
- 13:03Speaker 1: telling on you, But I get the feeling that wouldn't
- 13:05Speaker 1: work on her. Oh you know what, now that I
- 13:10Speaker 1: think about it, why don't you try to talk to
- 13:13Speaker 1: her and build a relationship with her. Maybe if you
- 13:16Speaker 1: could build that sisterly bond, maybe she would respect your
- 13:20Speaker 1: need for privacy. Why not? I don't know how siblings work.
- 13:25Speaker 1: It's worth the shot, though. Let's move on to our
- 13:30Speaker 1: last story for today. Our dog came to visit us
- 13:35Speaker 1: on the fifteenth of January. I figured we'd end things
- 13:39Speaker 1: on a sweet story, especially since I started this episode
- 13:43Speaker 1: on a darker note. My brother and I had been
- 13:49Speaker 1: in the backyard enjoying the quiet and darkness on the fifteenth,
- 13:54Speaker 1: The moon was out and it was rather beautiful, isn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: she always? We went inside and sat on the couch
- 14:02Speaker 1: in the back room, where we began reading on Reddit.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Out of my peripheral I noticed what to me looked
- 14:09Speaker 1: like dust falling down from the ceiling. It was very faint,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and I honestly didn't pay any attention to it. Right away,
- 14:19Speaker 1: my brother sprang forward and yelled out, do you smell that?
- 14:24Speaker 1: I replied, no. He yells out that Sampson. Our dog's
- 14:29Speaker 1: name was Sampson. He had passed away in February of
- 14:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. He had a particular smelly smell, that
- 14:38Speaker 1: smells that he would develop after a couple of days
- 14:44Speaker 1: of not bathing. We bathed him frequently. Because of this,
- 14:48Speaker 1: I couldn't smell him until I lean forward. I was
- 14:53Speaker 1: immediately hit with the smell, and I was suddenly flooded
- 14:58Speaker 1: with his memories. His smell literally was coming and going,
- 15:03Speaker 1: as if he was walking back and forth from the
- 15:05Speaker 1: kitchen then back to us. Several times. We set there
- 15:11Speaker 1: perplexed by what was happening. When we caught his smell,
- 15:17Speaker 1: we both breathed in heavily, just to be sure we
- 15:20Speaker 1: were both smelling the same odor. That is so real,
- 15:26Speaker 1: like when you smell a pet that has passed, or hell,
- 15:29Speaker 1: a past loved one. All you want to do is
- 15:32Speaker 1: savor that smell. So I love how you both took
- 15:36Speaker 1: in a deep breath. Samson decided to chill in front
- 15:42Speaker 1: of my brother for several minutes. My brother said, I
- 15:47Speaker 1: can fill his heat. He was a big dog, and
- 15:51Speaker 1: he then yelled out whoa. Apparently Samson came very close
- 15:56Speaker 1: to my brother in that moment. He said, it fell
- 16:00Speaker 1: like Samson was in his face. Ah awny, big babies
- 16:05Speaker 1: giving you geezies. Probably. I was able to smell him
- 16:11Speaker 1: for about another five minutes, comforted by his stink. Then
- 16:17Speaker 1: his smell disappeared, literally vanished almost instantly, literally vanished almost instantaneously.
- 16:29Speaker 1: My brother and I began trying to recreate his smell,
- 16:33Speaker 1: just so we didn't think we were going crazy, rocking
- 16:38Speaker 1: the couch back and forth, got up and started smelling
- 16:41Speaker 1: around the back part of the house, but got nothing.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Samson had a very distinct smell, and his smell was gone.
- 16:56Speaker 1: We both sat back down on the couch in silence.
- 16:59Speaker 1: After our investigation, I could tell my brother was a
- 17:04Speaker 1: little shocked, and he even exclaimed that he was in disbelief.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We both started reminiscing about our wonderful dog. I joked
- 17:15Speaker 1: about how he must have gone on some awesome adventures
- 17:18Speaker 1: in the eternal for the past two years, and that's
- 17:23Speaker 1: why he's so stinky. It also explains why we never
- 17:28Speaker 1: experienced him for all this time. We both laughed, but
- 17:34Speaker 1: still felt uneasy about what we had just experienced. We
- 17:40Speaker 1: sat there for a couple of more minutes in silence.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It then dawned on me what that dust was when
- 17:50Speaker 1: I was on my phone. I believe that it was
- 17:54Speaker 1: literally simpsonced spirit that came to us in that moment.
- 17:58Speaker 1: He was visible. A couple days past, I brought up
- 18:02Speaker 1: what happened to my brother and we both agreed that
- 18:06Speaker 1: it was Samson. We both are still in awe of
- 18:10Speaker 1: what occurred that lonely night, but we both are filled
- 18:14Speaker 1: with joy and content at the fact that Samson still
- 18:17Speaker 1: knows how to get home. I miss my dog all
- 18:23Speaker 1: the sweet stinky baby came back to see you. I'm
- 18:27Speaker 1: sure he's come to see you and been around you before,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but maybe in that moment he needed you to know
- 18:35Speaker 1: he was there. Probably why he came in with that smell.
- 18:40Speaker 1: He probably wanted to make it clear who was there
- 18:43Speaker 1: and leave you with no doubts. And I love that
- 18:48Speaker 1: your brother felt him leaning up on him. I just
- 18:52Speaker 1: know that brought back all of the memories, didn't I
- 18:56Speaker 1: tell you I'd in on a palate cleanser. And hey,
- 19:00Speaker 1: if you are enjoying this, please rate and review the
