- 0:33Hello, and welcome to Pole Position, the game show that's all about
- 0:37being in the right place, at the right time, with the right answer,
- 0:40and the game starts right now. Stevie. On what continent is tim
- 0:46buck two? Asia? Wrong? Africa and Matt Matt? What sport is
- 0:53divided into periods called chuck us ooh uh, hockey? No polo? Audra
- 1:03Polly is a traditional name for what pet bird parrot? Correct, Aggie.
- 1:08What type of oil is used to make chabbata bread? Jabbata oil no olive
- 1:15ceb. In computing, FAQ stands for frequently what asked questions? Correct?
- 1:22Matt. Boater hats are traditionally made from what material as a straw? Correct?
- 1:30What, Audra? What item of cutlery has three or four prongs?
- 1:36Four? That is correct, Aggie. A cardiologist specializes in what organ heart?
- 1:42Correct? H Stevie, we were on a break is a famous quote
- 1:47from What US Sitcom Friends? Correct Matt in the Disney film who was Bambi's
- 1:55rabbit sidekick? Pumpa? Correct? Audra? What Africa in country's name comes
- 2:00first alphabetically? Chad time Algeriagie, Aggie, Who did Olivia Newton John duet
- 2:14with in Greece? Oh, man, I can't do his name. Uh
- 2:21John Travolta. That's right. I was thinking, I'm like, that's not
- 2:27right. Wait, no, that's right. So if my math is correct,
- 2:30I believe everybody got too correct. Yeah, which makes this entire round
- 2:36completely pointless. Yes, we did it. Yes, in case of a
- 2:45tie, which everybody did, we're just gonna go in the order that was
- 2:49randomly determined before the show. So Stevie, by virtue of just being randomly
- 2:53selected to go first, you get to choose where you sit in line,
- 2:59and this is the key fee sure about pole position. You have to be
- 3:01in the front of the line at pole position to answer the questions. The
- 3:06player who gives me the fourth correct answer in this first round is going to
- 3:09go through to the final and have a chance to win the jackpot. The
- 3:13other players will have another a couple of rounds to try and get in.
- 3:15But if you can get in first, that's great. So remembering that you
- 3:19have to give the fourth correct answer to get in, do you want to
- 3:22sit in the front, the second position, the third position, or at
- 3:25the back. I would like to be in the third position, third position
- 3:29for Stevie. All right, Matt, you get to choose next. Would
- 3:32you like pole position, second position or at the back? I would like
- 3:38the second position, second position for Matt. Okay, Audre, it's down
- 3:40to you. Would you like pole position or sit at the back. Let's
- 3:44go back back for Audre, which puts Aggy the complete opposite of last time
- 3:52play, which means, Aggy, you're gonna go first. Now. The
- 3:57good news is if you just happen to give me four correct answers, you're
- 3:59in like a shot that's never gonna happen. All right, well let's find
- 4:04out. I've got a stack of questions here. Uh and uh as always
- 4:10Uh. We're making a little format change. The first time you played the
- 4:14game, the player in back only got to select the category during the third
- 4:16and the final rounds. We decided to change that so the player in back
- 4:20is to choose the category for every round. So, Aubrea, you are
- 4:25going to sort of choose, You're gonna you're gonna sort of choose Aggie's fate
- 4:29here, So you have the choice. Would you like him to answer a
- 4:32question on American Awards or world events. I honestly don't know enough about what
- 4:40Aggie would know. Just screwing old. It's fine, let's go with the
- 4:49world events. World events. It is all right, Aggie. Here's your
- 4:55question on world events. In twenty nine, the king of what country removed
- 5:02five of his grandchildren from the royal house as a cost cutting exercise. Is
- 5:09it Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain or Sweden? It's Spain Spain. Yeah,
- 5:18do you want to lock that in? Yeah? Okay, Spain is
- 5:23locked in. Does anyone else have any ideas? None whatsoever, Sir Matt
- 5:30would just be guessing as well. All right, well let's find out.
- 5:33Is it Sweden or Spain? Excuse me, man of Antibain, Sweden,
- 5:46Spain. I may have given it away there the answer He is Sweden.
- 5:48Actually the king I can't forgot Sweden had a king kicked five of his grandchildren
- 5:55out to save money. So, by virtue of getting that question incorrect,
- 6:01Aggie moves to the back of the line and everybody else moves up on space,
- 6:06which means it's Matt's turn. Hi Matt, hi, Hello. You
- 6:12are from the gately brist podcast. The Brilliant Podcast about putting pop culture up
- 6:17to the test one fandom at a time, perfectly said, Yes, that's
- 6:21exactly what I do. Thank you so much. It's it's legitimately one of
- 6:26my favorite things, and I mean in the world, one of my favorite
- 6:29things. Ladies and gentlemen, If you want to check out their podcast,
- 6:32I highly recommend listening to the Indiana Jones episode made me laugh so hard a
- 6:39thousand percent. Check that out. It is worth your time. But basically,
- 6:43you do what we do. You play games on a podcast for fun.
- 6:46Yeah, and it's all a great time. We've been on a couple
- 6:47of times. It's been wonderful every single time. And I'm still super excited
- 6:55for that future task Master episode. Yes, yes, coming this fall.
- 7:00That's what people like to say, Yeah, it's coming this fall suite.
- 7:04So I really should have done this for Aggy, but it's scrum But Matt,
- 7:13Matt, what Shuart are you playing for today? Yes, I'm playing
- 7:16for local charity called Tessa that works with victims and spibers of domestic abuse and
- 7:23violence in the States, providing resources and support. Fantastic, fantastic, All
- 7:29right, Well, here's hoping that you win them a bunch of money today,
- 7:34everybody's getting something, nobody's going home with nothing. So there is that.
- 7:38But but you could win up to one hundred dollars in the jackpart rounds
- 7:42of frew. Yeah, I know, high stakes, super high stakes.
- 7:46Now that's actually pressure to get right. This is will happen. Doesn't tell
- 7:53you, let's get the first round under our belts, Aggy. Since you're
- 7:57in the back, you get to choose what Matt has to face, and
- 8:00I will be kind to ask you the same question. What charity were you
- 8:03playing for? I should have asked while you were Children's Saint Jew's Children's Hospital
- 8:07beautiful. Okay, So, Aggie, the question that you can give Matt
- 8:11can be games or math. I feel like he's really good at both.
- 8:22He's not going to give it away. Yeah, I know, you know,
- 8:26just because I'm interested in as well. Let's do game. Let's do
- 8:28games. He says, all right, thank you, Matt. Here is
- 8:31your question on games, Matt. What does the first S stand for in
- 8:39the gaming acronym S N E S? Is it super special, smart or
- 8:46system? I believe it's super. Do you want to lock that in?
- 8:54I would like to lock that in? All right, anyone have any other
- 8:56ideas, my special little Ennis. All right, well let's find out.
- 9:05Is Matt correct? Do we have our first correct answer on the board?
- 9:15Yes, of course, yes, yes, that was the Super Nintendo Entertainment
- 9:20System. Well done. All right, that's our first correct answer. We
- 9:24just need three more to get somebody into the final Matt, here's hoping you
- 9:26can hold on, Aggie. The next two categories you can choose from our
- 9:30Scotland or Broadway STU Broadway Broadway. It is okay, all right, Matt,
- 9:37here is your question on Broadway. Which of these songs features in the
- 9:43Broadway musical Jersey Boys, walk Away, Renee, walk Hard, walk like
- 9:52a Man? Or walk on by? Okay? I feel like it's not
- 10:01one of the first two because I feel like I recognize those from other things.
- 10:07So it's walk on by? Or what was the other one? Walk
- 10:09like a man? Walk like a man? Well, look that Josie boys,
- 10:16so inevitably they're gonna have to become Josie men. So I'm gonna say
- 10:20walk like a man. Okay, you want to lock that in? I
- 10:22would like to lock that in. All right, it's locked in. Does
- 10:24anyone have any other thoughts? I know nothing about Broadway. Sorry, I'm
- 10:30glad you got that. I think I know where a walk Like a Man
- 10:33is, but I'm not entirely sure it's from the standing Buddy Holley. All
- 10:37right, well let's find out. Oh no, no, I do not
- 10:41know. I know where walk hard is from, but I don't know any
- 10:43of the other one. All right, well let's find out. Has Matt
- 10:46given us our second correct answer? Yes? Really? Job? Yeah,
- 11:00okay, is walk like a man? Well done? All right, so
- 11:07down, just two more to go and you're in Matt. You're doing great,
- 11:11Augie. The next two categories are video games or online shopping. I
- 11:18can't give them another good one. Be a nice guy. Let's do online
- 11:24shopping online shopping? All right, Matt, here is your question on online
- 11:28shopping. Which of these was the first thing ever sold in a legal online
- 11:37transaction? A Sting CD, a Super Nintendo game, a Twister DVD,
- 11:45or an X Men comic book. Ah, this is so I don't know
- 11:50this. This is such a good question to get so I can gain this
- 11:52trivia. Whether I get this right, I'm wrong, because this is this
- 11:56is good. Weirdly, I'm leaning towards the Sting CD. I don't know
- 12:05why. It's just something about it that seems slightly less prestigious than the other
- 12:09things, and so that far it could be that, Okay, do you
- 12:11want to lock that in? Yes, all right, it's locked in.
- 12:16Does anyone else have any of Stevie? You clamped your hands over your mouth.
- 12:20I thought, I was like, he's saying this. I thought I
- 12:22knew exactly what question away was not. It ended different than I was.
- 12:26I thought it was the online first online crime. Oh no, And I
- 12:31was like, I know that we did the illegal one last episode. It
- 12:35was on our show. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so now we're doing
- 12:41the legal one. Different. Anyways, let's find out has Matt gone three
- 12:46for three? Whereas his turnover? Yes, yeah, you absolutely nailing these.
- 13:01It was ten Summers Tales and it sold for twelve dollars and forty eight
- 13:05cents. How wow, well done? All right, well this is it.
- 13:11The next correct answer is straight into the final and Matt has gone three
- 13:15for three? Can he make it four in a row? Aggie? Here
- 13:18are the categories you can give him dogs or the Olympics, all the dog
- 13:28Olympics. I would totally watch that. Humans. Dogs, yes, yes,
- 13:39adorable dogs doing tricks and you know what, big dogs. Just in
- 13:41case it might be all right, here is your question on dogs, Matt,
- 13:50which dog breed is nicknamed the gray Ghost, Airdale, docs, Rottweiler
- 14:00or Wimerner. Okay, I've never heard of the first or the last one,
- 14:07so I've never heard of a dog being called a gray ghost. I
- 14:11don't think it'd be a daccent because I would be submit like the silly little
- 14:15sausage a nickname. Accurate. Okay, I'm gonna go with the last one.
- 14:31Yes, yes, okay, and you're locking that in. Yep,
- 14:33Okay, it's locked in. It's done. Now Matt has either gotten into
- 14:37the final or he's going to the back of the line and either Stevie or
- 14:43Oddter will be able to claims. Hopefully, let's find out. Has Matt
- 14:46done the impossible and gone four for four? Yes, guys, the last
- 15:03three, uh, and they've been incredibly good guesses. It is the wimern
- 15:07or is nicknamed the Great Ghost. Matt. Congratulations, you are into the
- 15:13final. You will have a shot at the jackpot. Just I like that.
- 15:18Four questions straight? Oh god, Actually the last two. I tried
- 15:24to trip him off with the question category and he still got it. Yeah,
- 15:28yeah, yeah, well yeah, congrats, very well done. Not
- 15:33only are you going in first, but you will have the first choice of
- 15:35where to sit when the when the round starts. So good on you,
- 15:39congratulations. You're gonna sit in the background for a bit. Now bye,
- 15:43we're gonna go. We're gonna go to a break, and when we come
- 15:46back, we're gonna play two more rounds to get two more players into the
- 15:48final. Will it be Stevie, Ouder or Aggie who joins Matt in the
- 15:52final? Find out right after this. This is Beer in Front. Every
- 16:07week I'll talk about a beer that maybe we've forgotten along the way while we
- 16:11get those check ins and badgets. Being the Chicago beer guy, I'll also
- 16:18talk about great craft beer in the city of Chicago. And remember, sometimes
- 16:23the beer in front of you is the best one yet. That's Beer in
- 16:27Front, part of the Odd Pods Media Network. Hey, welcome back.
- 16:51It's time for round two. Matt has successfully gotten into the final, which
- 16:55leaves Stevie, Audra and Aggie sitting in line waiting to get a chance to
- 16:59get themselves in the final as well. For the second round, there are
- 17:02three of you left, So it's the third correct answer we're looking for.
- 17:04Whoever gives me the third correct answer, we'll get into the final. Uh.
- 17:08We're gonna position you in order of the way you were left after Matt
- 17:12got through. So Stevie, you were in second position, so you get
- 17:15the first choice. Would you like to sit in pole position, in the
- 17:18middle, or at the back? I believe I will take the back this
- 17:22time. Stevie elects to go to the back. Audrey, you can sit
- 17:26in pole position or in the middle. Where would you like to go?
- 17:29Let's go pole positions, just straight going for it rests in the middle last.
- 17:38Well in that case, now that it's your first time in the pole
- 17:41position. Hi On Dree, Welcome to the show. Hello, it's gonna
- 17:45be so thrilled to have one of the permanent team captains from the Gately Frazon.
- 17:51Uh and uh, just just jazz to have you guys here. Man,
- 17:56I just really do so. It's been so fun. I'm glad you've
- 18:00been enjoying it. There's much more game to come. So my question you
- 18:03would be what charity are you playing for and why are they important to you?
- 18:10I am playing for Rocky Mountain Food Bank. They provide access to food
- 18:15for people who have limited access to it in Colorado, on the western slope
- 18:19of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Wyoming. Access to nutritious food is really
- 18:25really important, especially especially when you can't find it. Yeah, it becomes
- 18:32it becomes progressively more and more important. And inflation constantly going up and driving
- 18:37prices up is not helping either. So that is a is a very important
- 18:42charity for sure. So yeah, thanks for coming, Andre, And are
- 18:48you ready to face your first question? Yes? Yes, I'm not going
- 18:55to get more ready all right, fair enough, Stevie. As you're at
- 19:00the back, you have the choice of which category to give her. Would
- 19:03you like to give her Disney songs or the Bible? Oh geez, wow,
- 19:08that's a big diversion. How about we go with Disney songs? Disney
- 19:15songs it is? Yeah, all right, go ahead and set us up
- 19:18some music. And Andre, here is your first question. What is the
- 19:23first original Disney song to reach number one in the US? A Whole New
- 19:30World, Hakuna Matata, let it Go, or we don't talk about Bruno.
- 19:42I think the others got high up, but I think I'm gonna go
- 19:47with let it go. Let it go as the first one to reach number
- 19:52one in the US. You want to lock that in? Yeah, okay,
- 19:56it's locked in. Does anyone else have any other thoughts or idea?
- 20:00I mean, yeah, it's it's hard because you've got two old ones versus
- 20:04two new ones. And yeah, the new ones definitely certainly make more.
- 20:07When that frozen thing came out, I was with someone who had two little
- 20:11kids. I can see how that thing would destroy everybody. So yeah,
- 20:15I can see how Audrew chosen has the let it goes? Yeah, okay,
- 20:19yeah, well let's find out that. Does Audre have our first correct
- 20:23answer in the bank? No, Andra, I'm sorry. Uh, the
- 20:37first Disney Stung to reach number one in US is a whole new world.
- 20:41Oh yeah, yeah it was indeed. All right, Well it's not over.
- 20:48You're just moving to the back of the pack and Auggie and Stevie will
- 20:52move on up. Uh so, hi, Auggie, come back. I
- 20:56don't know. I kind of think it's amazing as Stevie hasn't been in the
- 21:00chair yet, so he's just been vibing the whole time. All right,
- 21:04Audre, maybe it's time for a little bit of revenge. Would you like
- 21:07to give Auggie presidential pets or drinks? Those are interesting choices. Yeah,
- 21:18drinks, drinks. It is all right, Auggie. Here is your question.
- 21:26What type of vermouth should be used in a negrony cocktail? Bianco?
- 21:33Dry? Sweet? We're virgin? What type of vermouth should be used in
- 21:42a negrony cocktail? Man, I shouldn't have quit drinking. I think it's
- 21:51sweet cocktail sweet? I think so. All right, you want to lock
- 21:56that in as well? Locked in? Does any want to have any other
- 22:00ideas? Right? My brain is an and Matt. Even though you're in
- 22:03the final, you can join in if you have commentary. Okay, okay,
- 22:08yeah, I was thinking out this week. I'll try. I was
- 22:11reading those two. I couldn't say for sure. All right, Well,
- 22:15nobody seems to know. But let's find out. Does Aggie have our first
- 22:18correct answer of the round? Yes? He does. Wow, yet it
- 22:33is an exact right choice to make, and that's our first correct answer.
- 22:36Just two more to go and you're in the pilot seat. Adra. Let's
- 22:40give him a category. Would you like to give him words? Or American
- 22:44Awards? American Awards, American Awards. It is here. Here is your
- 22:53question, which of these actresses never won an oscar? Elizabeth Taylor, Grace
- 23:04Kelly, Joanne Woodward or Marilyn Monroe. Which of these actresses never won an
- 23:15oscar? What was the therm one? Joanne Woodward, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace
- 23:25Kelly, Joanne Woodward or Marilyn Monroe. I think it was. I can't.
- 23:34I don't know why I'm fixated on it, but I think it's Marilyn
- 23:37thell Okay, yeah, I don't remember her being a very good actress.
- 23:45Oh, oh, shade, I'm like man shade on a woman who's been
- 23:51dead for forty years. Too soon? Too soon? All right? Well,
- 24:00uh, I was gonna say, does anyone else have any other ideas?
- 24:03But they seem to be firmly stacked against you to be Let's find out.
- 24:08Did Aggie give us our second correct answer? Yes he did, dude,
- 24:22absolutely right. Marilyn Monroe never won an oscar, but the others a
- 24:26sh actress. All right, Well it comes down to this. We're one
- 24:40correct answer away. So whoever gives me the next grrect answer is going through
- 24:44the final could sort of replicate Matt's feet and give me all three straight.
- 24:48But this is this is your chance to stop him. Would you like to
- 24:55give him words or movies? Yeah? This could go either way. Okay,
- 25:11it's words, uh, Aggie to get into the final. Here is
- 25:15your question, putting a y on the end of which cotton fabric's name creates
- 25:23a word meaning cheap and low quality canvas. Chintz, heather or gingham chintz.
- 25:37Lock it in? Yeah, all right, it's locked in. Everybody
- 25:41else seems to be nodding. I think you might be through. Let's find
- 25:45out. Did Aggie give us three four? Three? Yeah? Man?
- 25:59Bizarre and we yeah, there are there are some easier ones in here,
- 26:07and the Audre unfortunately gave you one of them. I say movies probably,
- 26:11yeahs would have been a harder question of the two. There's no way for
- 26:15you to know that. Unfortunately. So Augie is through to the final with
- 26:18mats. I don't know how it's possible. I never made it before.
- 26:22I don't think we have done it two of our three finalists. We just
- 26:27need one more. Uh so we're gonna play round three and it is just
- 26:32Stevie and Audre left. There are just two positions, the poll and the
- 26:36back. Stevie, as you were ahead of audreg in the row. Would
- 26:40you like to take pole position? Or would you like to sit in the
- 26:42back? Remembering that this round, the second correct answer goes through and the
- 26:48other player is eliminated from the game. Right now, due I should hid
- 26:53sacrifice the whole team by making it to the end, or now that's the
- 26:56question, how about I go? I should get one right? Screw up
- 27:03you go? Jesus, are you trying to intentionally throw the game? No?
- 27:07I just don't want to screw up the end. I think it'd be
- 27:11better at drown. And she's smarter than I am. I'll go first.
- 27:14I'll take full position. You want to take full position? All right?
- 27:17Then address sets in the back and we'll determine your category his own me.
- 27:22It's your first time in position this whole game. All right? How are
- 27:26you doing? How are you doing? Brother good man? It's been cool
- 27:30back you're watching the show. It's me yeah, But now it's Stewart diet.
- 27:33You gotta get through or you're out. I know it's crazy, all
- 27:36the pressure. Well, let's relax on the pressure a bit, chill out.
- 27:41So what charity are you playing for and why is it important to you?
- 27:45I'm gonna be playing for the VFW. It's a Veterans of Foreign Wars.
- 27:48I am a veteran of foreign Wars. They've been a really cool organization.
- 27:53Has helped with processing other veterans claims through the VA to help them get
- 27:57the medical care things they need. And it also helps with getting veterans houses
- 28:03if they're homeless, food things like that, and also service animals. So
- 28:07really cool organization. So the local one here, absolutely, it's very cool,
- 28:11man. And just to let you know whether you're if you get eliminated,
- 28:15you your charity will still receive a five dollar token donation in your name
- 28:18awesome as a way of saying thank you for participating. So even even if
- 28:25you do get knocked out, you won't feel too bad. Helpt the door.
- 28:33So let's get started with round three. Second correct answer gets through,
- 28:37Audre, you may want to stump him. You may want to give him
- 28:41the first one and try and stump him on the second one. It's up
- 28:44to you how you want to play it. But the categories for the next
- 28:45question are actresses or art. Let's go for art art. It is awesome,
- 28:55awesome, all right, Stevie, here is your question. The mona
- 29:00Lisa was insured for what record amount in nineteen sixty two? One million,
- 29:11ten million, one hundred million, one billion. He drew beat the year
- 29:17again in nineteen sixty two. Thank you. It was a record amount in
- 29:22nineteen sixty two. To be fair, it is quite possibly the most famous
- 29:30painting in the entire world. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and moneies.
- 29:36Monies were still big in sixties. Moneys were still big in sixties. Yes,
- 29:42yes, money existed in that. That was a complete sentence and thought,
- 29:47yeah, so I'm gonna go with the ridiculous amount and it's not the
- 29:49wordy to goes now of one billion dollars, one billion dollars, yes,
- 29:53doctor Evils, Yes he has locked it in. Does anyone else have any
- 29:59of their ideas? Just one hundred million based on baby inflation? But that's
- 30:07I feel like it's one of the top two. Yeah, okay, thinking
- 30:10of the time period too, Yeah, a billion sounds like it was a
- 30:12lot of money, all right, Well, Stevie says one million, everyone
- 30:17else says, whoa, let's pull it back to one hundred million. Let's
- 30:21see. You don't know value of numbers to you? Are the others right
- 30:26or has Stevie clinched the first correct answer. No, I'm sorry. The
- 30:40others all got it right. It is one hundred million. You went just
- 30:42one step too high. Damn it too far. It's a lot easier to
- 30:47know the right answer when you're not the one being directly I screw this up.
- 30:52Well we'll see how that works for you, Audre, because you're moving
- 30:55up to poll position and it is now your return u eb. Here are
- 31:00the categories you can give Audre. Would you like to give her phobias or
- 31:04geology. That's the rock one, not the distance they like planet one.
- 31:08Okay, cool, yeah, look, oh my god, oh let's go
- 31:22to geology. Geology. All right, Audre. Here is your question on
- 31:29geology. What term describes an opalescent semi precious stone, especially one consisting of
- 31:37alkali, feldspar, cloudstone, moonstone, star stone, or sunstone. I
- 31:51want to say moonstone. Okay, do you want to lock that in?
- 32:00Yeah? All right, moonstone is locked in Steve, he's nodding his head.
- 32:02Yeah. I think that's the one that changes colors with the typicture.
- 32:06It's been a while, but I think, yeah, I think feltspart.
- 32:09It's got to be moono sun. But I probably think it has moved too.
- 32:14All right, well, everybody's behind you. Let's see. Does Audra
- 32:17have the first correct answer of this round? Yes, absolutely right, Yeah,
- 32:30the amount that I flinched, I saw it. It was delightful.
- 32:35We all know it's shockingly a large aboonto geology. Wow. Yeah, so
- 32:40that is the first correct answer. We just need one more. Whichever one
- 32:44of you two gives it to me is going through to the final round with
- 32:46Matt n Agi and the other one just goes home with five dogs. Do
- 32:52not save me by name, and I appreciate I am. I am doing
- 32:57my absolute quest not to be biased. So Stevie, this is your last
- 33:02chance to stop Audre. Possibly would you like to give her celebrities or movies?
- 33:08Geezs go celebrities, celebrities? It is yeah, all right, Audres,
- 33:16you possibly get through to the final round. Here is your question on
- 33:21celebrities, which Singer revealed in an interview that she entered a drag contest based
- 33:30on her and lost Arianna Grande, Kylie Minogue, Selene Dion or Madonna a
- 33:43drag contest. When you first read this, I mixed it up with an
- 33:51impersonation contest that Adele did. That's why I am making sure you know this
- 33:55is a drag contest, not look alike contest. Oh yeah, good call.
- 34:01I do remember the other one. I believe the same thing. Pardon
- 34:07uh, Ariana Grande, Kylie Minogue, Seleen Dion or Madonna. While I
- 34:19know they all have iconic looks, I'm gonna go for the one that I
- 34:23think is the most I think the most iconic over time. I'm gonna go
- 34:30with Madonna. Okay, you're gonna lock that in? Yes, Okay,
- 34:36it's locked in. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'll be shaking his
- 34:39head. No, I'm like, I'm not sure it's either Madonna or yeah.
- 34:46Yeah, I just feel like it's no Ariana Grande. Yeah, and
- 34:49it could be any of the other three. Last two? Now, is
- 34:57Audra going through to the final? Oh? I'm sorry, Matt is the
- 35:12only one who gave her a chance? Is actually Kylie Minogue? Oh?
- 35:15Okay, entered a drag contest based on her and lost. I didn't know
- 35:21that was a person. Now, I believe Ariana Grande entered a lookalike contest
- 35:24based on her and lost. But that's why I supprisified drag and apparently this
- 35:30is the thing that happens often. It happened to Dolly Parton, Arian Grande,
- 35:34god knows who else. Just happens all the time, but the drag
- 35:37contest was pretty unique. All right, So Audra, sadly you're moving to
- 35:40the back, but that doesn't mean it doesn't mean your game is over.
- 35:44You just have to steal pole position back from Stevie. So here is your
- 35:47chance. Would you like to give Stevie books or sports? I'll tell you
- 35:54right now. Either one would be a bad category for him. But I
- 36:02guess it's your take as to what you think would be the worst character.
- 36:07That's amazing. So there are sports paraphernalia in the room that I see on
- 36:13this video call with helmet. That's that's yeah. So it's okay, all
- 36:23my hockey stuff you can't see on the other side. But I would maintain
- 36:28that books would be a good choice. Okay, I'm gonna go, thank
- 36:31you. He's not well versus neither, All right, Stevie, this is
- 36:36your chance to get through. Here is your question on books. He starts
- 36:40giggling beforehand. You know it's difficult, StEB How is Becky Bloomwood described in
- 36:47a series of books by Sophie kinsella alcoholic, chocoholic, Shopoholic. We're workaholic.
- 37:00Well, it's well known, Aaron if you read any of the series
- 37:02that she is a hardcore working on. Okay, you want to lock that
- 37:07in? Well, of course everybody knows. This is common knowledge. You're
- 37:10locking that in? Yes, okay, it's locked in. Does anyone have
- 37:15any other ideas? I've never read Die, I have a wimpy kid.
- 37:27Yeah, I have no clue, but I appreciate Stepe's confidence on it.
- 37:30Yeah, convinced me. All right, Well let's see. Is he right?
- 37:35Is he going through to the final? Come on, go on?
- 37:47No, it's not Workaholic, it's Shopoholic. It's a long running series.
- 37:53Yeah. I don't know the titles off top of my head, but there's
- 37:57there's a bunch of them. In any event, you go to the back
- 38:01of the pack and Andre gets another shot at it. Awesome, all right,
- 38:06So Stevie, would you like to give Audre geography or birds? You
- 38:12just do that one? No, this is geography. This the other one?
- 38:15Oh yeah, this one's the big rock we all live on. Yeah.
- 38:23Yeah, she didn't get on the little rocks. I think she didn't
- 38:28get in the little rocks if I do good on the big rock. What
- 38:30was the other one? Birds? Yeah, let's do birds. They live
- 38:32on the rock. Birds. It is birds and off the rock. All
- 38:36right, it's true. Holy crap, they're like Schwordener's cat, but for
- 38:39birds in the sky. All right, Audre, here is your question.
- 38:49I don't even know how to follow from that, Audre, your question on
- 38:52birds? Which of these birds roost in America's Golden Gate National Recreation Area?
- 39:00Peacocks, pelicans, penguins, were petrol Now, I'm gonna be real.
- 39:12I have a phobia of birds. I don't project Oh no, no,
- 39:19But you gotta know your enemy, right, let's know their weakness. I
- 39:23thought I was given her a bad category at all, traumatizing or at the
- 39:28end of the game. What birds would you find around America's Golden Gate National
- 39:34Recreation Area? Let's what was the second one? I feel like pelicans?
- 39:45Pelicans. Pelicans are a water bird. You're the Golden Gate. But is
- 39:53it a fancier bird because they're trying to impress people and so they put them
- 39:58there. Yeah, I'm just gonna go with pelicans. I you're locking that
- 40:07in yes, it's locked in. Does anyone have any other ideas penguins and
- 40:15petrol is in petrol? I guess no, peh r e l not no
- 40:20petrol. It's either pelicans or petrol. Yeah, I don't think pelicans feels
- 40:27like a good guess. Yeah, I don't know. There are there are
- 40:30no penguins north of the belt to go through to the final with Matt Nogi.
- 40:37Has Adre just given us our second correct answer? Yes, she absolutely
- 40:51is right. It is pelicans. Well done, very awesome, very congratulations
- 40:55Andre. You are going through to the final round with Matt and aug which
- 41:00means Stevie for the second episode of pole Position in a row. That's okay,
- 41:06we have to leave you here at the final hurdle, but you can
- 41:08still you can still commentate, and you can actually help if you want during
- 41:14the final. I love the help. I will explain how all that works
- 41:17when we get into the final round, but for now, we're going to
- 41:20take our second break. When we come back, Matt, Aggie, and
- 41:22Adra are going to face off to try and win the hundred dollars that are
- 41:27sitting in the jackpot. Only one of them can take it home, though,
- 41:30Let's find out who it is right after this. Hi, I'm Shannon,
- 41:44I'm Jamie. We're married with Television, married with TV dot com.
- 41:49We are a couple of Hollywood dorbis on the outskirts of the film at TV
- 41:52Industry and we talk about our favorite TV shows, music and the reason sometimes
- 41:57they talk back to us. Our cast is married with Television. One word
- 42:01on Stitcher, Spotify by Junes and SoundCloud, somebody amazonestly and we are a
- 42:08crowd member of the odd Pots Media Network. Harry, what you hello and
- 42:34welcome back. It is time for the final round, which is going to
- 42:37determine who, if anybody, is going home with the Jackpott. Jackpott starts
- 42:43at one hundred dollars, and like usual, our players are going to seat
- 42:45themselves in pole position, in the middle or the back. However, no
- 42:50contestant is going to leave. We're going to keep playing until we get our
- 42:52seventh question correct. Whoever answers the seventh question correctly, we'll win What's left
- 43:00the Jackpott and take it home. However, I say what's left in jack
- 43:04Butt because each question that they get wrong on the way to the seventh is
- 43:08going to take ten dollars away from that Jack Pott. So it is actually
- 43:13in the other player's interests to help the player in pole position get them right,
- 43:16because the more questions they get right, higher that Jackpott is going to
- 43:21be when it gets to question seven. So you're basically gonna want to help
- 43:25each other out until the end. Then you're gonna want to screw them over
- 43:29and get into pole position. But we'll see how that goes. So,
- 43:32Matt, you were the first player to get through into the final. See,
- 43:36you get the choice, would you like to start in pole position,
- 43:38in the middle or at the back, remembering of course, that the bat
- 43:42gets to choose the category for the player in front. That is true.
- 43:45That is true. I think though, I'm going to put myself in pole
- 43:50position because I don't think I'm going to be able to get all of them
- 43:52right, and so that folla, I'm gonna rote around, all right.
- 43:57We'll see. Augie. You got through second, So you've the choice.
- 44:00Would you like to be in the middle or at the back. I'll remain
- 44:02in the middle, You'll stay in the middle, and Audre will go to
- 44:05the back. All right, So I think I choose that. Okay,
- 44:09I like to think that I chose it. It works for you, all
- 44:12right. So I have our questions here, and Audre, you will get
- 44:17the first choice as to what category to give to Matt, remembering of course
- 44:22that you may want to help him now, so you might want to pick
- 44:23categories that either he knows really well or you know really well and can give
- 44:28him an answer. Would you like to give him musical cities or presidents?
- 44:35I do not know which one of those I think you would know better.
- 44:38Let's go for president, ladies and gentlemen. He could not see it on
- 44:46the podcast, but the physical transformation Audre just went through was imp like her
- 44:54spine contorted into an unnatural way. So eke out we're presidents. Yeah,
- 45:02all right, So our first question is going to be on presidents, remembering
- 45:06of course that you can ask the people behind you, Aggie and Andra or
- 45:09even Stevie if you wish for help with this question. Matt. Here is
- 45:14your question on presidents, Matt. Which of these US presidents got the most
- 45:22votes in a single election? Barack Obama, George H. W. Bush,
- 45:30Joe Biden, or Ronald Reagan. This is tough because it's kind it's
- 45:38not just factoring in like popular vote, but also vote a turnout because it's
- 45:43like who got the most votes. I know Voto turnout has gone up a
- 45:51bit recently, but also people were matt on re electing Breakan in the eighties.
- 45:57So can I get some help from from some Americans? Maybe any any
- 46:02advice for this one? Yeah, Americans pay attention to this stuff. What
- 46:06do you guys think? Yeah, that's okay. I don't think Reagan's hard
- 46:12because you said it was in one day in a in a single election,
- 46:16single election. Yeah, okay, it was Reagan, Obama, Biden who?
- 46:24Yes, I think Bush is the one that I would eliminate. Yeah,
- 46:30just in my mind. H w so senior, Okay, that changed
- 46:36the bast I feel like I'd narrow it down in my mind to Reagan or
- 46:42Obama would be my top. Yeah to the regular skipped me, I don't
- 46:47know, ye not think it. I think of it though it was.
- 46:54I think it's like either his first or his second election was a big win.
- 46:58I can't remember if it was like a strong start to it all or
- 47:01a big win in the second time round after four years of eighteen politics.
- 47:08I'm gonna sorry, I'm taking so long, man, you didn't take your
- 47:14time, but up only up to a certain point. Yeah, you can
- 47:22have an hour, just think about this question, but only an hour,
- 47:24only one hour? All right, then I'll use it. I think I'll
- 47:32just go and oh we commit into the bait stuff. Let's let's go with
- 47:45break and just want to expect it's one of one of those was a landslide,
- 47:50and you want to lock that in. Yes, all right, it's
- 47:52locked in, cannot be changed. Uh? Is Matt correct? Does he
- 47:57hang on to pull position or we sending him to the back and losing money
- 48:01from the prize fund. Let's find out. Oh, Matt, I'm sorry
- 48:15U. Joe Biden had the largest turnout in American history. Oh wow,
- 48:19I got the most votes in the should have thought about populations? Well,
- 48:23yeah, there is that. It's been going. It's been getting higher and
- 48:27higher. In fact, it is it is. Literally Reagan had the lowest
- 48:30of these four, followed by Bush, then Obama, then Biden. So
- 48:32it literally has been going. It has been going out over time. So
- 48:37yeah, in any of it. All right, So Matt is going to
- 48:40take a seat and head to the back of the pack. Uh. And
- 48:45the jackpot sadly drops to ninety dollars, but it's still a lot of money.
- 48:49Uh, and Aggie moves up to the front. Hey, Aggy,
- 48:52Hi, how did I get here? How did you get here? In
- 48:57any event, let's let's start getting some Some wind is on the board showing
- 49:00matt These are the categories that you can give Aggie. Would you like to
- 49:05give him games or words? Well, Algie to do well? The woods
- 49:09one befall, but maybe has more games knowledge, and so let's go with
- 49:14games. Games. It is all right, Aggie to keep all the money
- 49:20in the price one and hang on to poll position. Here is your question
- 49:23question number two. Matador and Muggins are versions of what game? Chess,
- 49:31Domino's Poker or yachtzi. Matador and Muggins, remembering, of course, you
- 49:43can ask for help from everybody in the room. Yeah, everybody in the
- 49:49room. Hello. Matador and Muggins are versions of chess, Domino's Poker,
- 49:55or Yatzi. I don't I have hooker, I have a feeling, Yeah,
- 50:01I don't thinking Maybe I mean I can what ankling is going towards like
- 50:06yacht see just because yeah, I'm trying to think of like the words are
- 50:10a bit representative what you do in the game, So of all of them,
- 50:16that kind of seems more like like a dice game matadors and buggins.
- 50:22Yeah, I could see that. Well, I don't really know much about
- 50:24domino so that's the only other one. But yeah, I feel do you
- 50:30know what now you started thinking about dominoes. You know how they have uh
- 50:35what's themageng with the little uh like shapes and stuff and they're all piled up
- 50:39on their nerves. Shapes are names of using the animals and stuff. What
- 50:44if it's like a domino thing like set up like that? And you said,
- 50:46what was the one? Yeah, like ones like set up like it'd
- 50:54be cool cools from that game, it would be yes, right, I
- 51:04don't know if it'd be cool. Thank you. But I asked you for
- 51:07help and ask you to answer with another question. Well, Aggie, I'm
- 51:13gonna push you for an answer you want to just because it sounds more like
- 51:17a more dice oriented kind of way. Do you want to lock lock that?
- 51:22Yeah? Lock that right? Well to hang on to poll position and
- 51:27keep ninety dollars in the price fund is correct? Answer, YACHTSI such a
- 51:42good luck for chow. You guys always a struggle. I'm gonna say something
- 51:47I have never said before. You should have listened to Stevie. It's Domino.
- 51:57Sorry, it might be in the ass of it, all right,
- 52:00more serious about it. Jack Pott drops to eighty dollars, which is still
- 52:05a lot of money, and Aggie moves to the back of the pack,
- 52:07putting Audra in pole position. Hi, Audra, welcome to Pressureville. Apparently,
- 52:15but hopefully, hopefully you'll find one of these two tier liking Aggie.
- 52:17Would you like to give her poetry or books? Books? Books? It
- 52:23is Audre. Here is your question on books in the Lord of the Lord
- 52:30of the Rings, who is known as the Lady of the Wood adding Urwin
- 52:39Yowen or Gladriel. I'm pretty sure that's Galadriel. Yeah, that one.
- 52:47I just I just know. Wow, I wish I gotta read one.
- 52:53I read them every year. If it's not Gladrial, what have I been
- 52:55doing? They? Can you just imagine? If it's wrong? Oh my
- 53:04god, I quit, Audre. Do you want to lock that in?
- 53:09I would love to lock that in, all right? To keep all eighty
- 53:15dollars in the prize fund on question number three and keep Audre in pole position.
- 53:20Is it glad real? Yes, horse nice, of course it's glad
- 53:32real. Well done. So Audre stays in pole position and our jackpot stays
- 53:38at eighty dollars. Just great, Hopefully let's keep this train and rolling.
- 53:44Aggie, you can give her the next category. Would you like to give
- 53:46her quotes or television or question number four? Quotes or television. I don't
- 53:54know about you, but I don't watch a lot of television. Specific things,
- 54:00specific things. Well, the quotes then quotes, It is all right.
- 54:08Here is question number four, about whom did former French president Jacques Sharack
- 54:19reportedly say, you can't trust people who cook as badly as that the Americans,
- 54:25the British, the Germans or the Russians? While under what do you
- 54:44think or do you want to ask for help? I don't want to insult
- 54:51any entire nation. Yeah, I feel my instinct goes Russia. But also
- 55:06do you want do you want? Do you want help? Yeah? Yeah,
- 55:07oh yeah, okay, sorry. It could be Russia for sure,
- 55:13or it could easily be the UK because we don't make good fire dude like
- 55:22its pies. Yeah, it is true, not the American pies. Yea
- 55:28our McDonald's in what year was this? What year did? I don't year,
- 55:35but it was It was said by former French French president Jacques Sharrock.
- 55:39I think it's like the two thousands who love Jerry Lewis like a lot.
- 55:45Who was your prime minister? It will have been Tony Blair when Jack shar
- 55:51Jack Sharak was the thing. I think, wow, that was while all
- 55:57right, Andrew, I'm gonna push you for anw just go with you guy
- 56:04if he do. You think it's Russia as well, because I don't know
- 56:07for Sean and I don't think it is a joking point. British food is
- 56:10a joking point, I think, far more colloquially than any of the other
- 56:14nations. So I'm going UK going with the British. You're gonna lock that
- 56:22in. I like how we ignored it, Okay, Germany's food is a
- 56:27yeah. Yeah, Germany is not bad. Germany has got a great food.
- 56:30It's amazing. Yeah, how we should go back to Germany? All
- 56:32right? Well, I mean maybe he was biased. We don't know.
- 56:36Let's find out. Has Audre given us another correct answer? Is she keeping
- 56:39that is in the price one? And if she hanging out the whole position,
- 56:43is it the British? Yes, absolutely right, great job, well
- 56:55done. Yeah, the French and the British just constantly snipe at each other,
- 57:00so that feels right. That should have been a hint. Yeah,
- 57:10alright, well, uh, there's just three questions left. Uh, and
- 57:16still eighty dollars in the price fund. Audres stays in pole position and Augy.
- 57:21You can give her one of these two categories. Would you like to
- 57:23give her musical cities or words? Oh, you may still want to help
- 57:30her at this point, or you want to start thinking about getting into pole
- 57:32position. I genuinely am still trying to help her. I just don't know
- 57:37how. But you can ask her which would be better for her? Actually,
- 57:42yeah, what would better? I think based on the previous words,
- 57:45when I might, I might go for words, just because like I don't
- 57:52have a lot of music knowledge. Yes, I am Philo Faverb. I
- 58:00do want to find out what musical cities means eventually, whether it's cities that
- 58:05feature within musicals or cities that have a very musical backgrounds, like a Nashville
- 58:09or something like that. The first one, I thought, the second one
- 58:14yeah, yeah, to be honest, I should have set those in a
- 58:16different order. For a better joke structure, I should have said the first
- 58:19one first and then then then hit everyone with the musical sayis well, the
- 58:23good news is Matt that I just keep cycling the same question. So there's
- 58:27there's a total of eight questions, only one of which will not get used
- 58:30during this round. So as long as some of the bat musical cities,
- 58:32eventually you will get to hear it. But for now, we're going with
- 58:36words for question number five, and Audra, here is your question. The
- 58:40word maelstrom originally referred to a whirlpool in what ocean? Arctic, Atlantic,
- 58:51Indian or Pacific. Lots of lots of unsure looks on everybody's face, Oh
- 59:06yeah, trying to use etymology to figure it out. I was trying to
- 59:13think of video games that use it. I'm like, all right, yeah,
- 59:16we like see it these and stuff. They have it that and then
- 59:19so it's the reference. It likely either Atlantic or more India really yeah,
- 59:25actually India, Beau. I think of all the trade I went there,
- 59:29like back and forth. It would have been a we're probably used often.
- 59:34Yeah, And I was trying to think strom could be like storm, like
- 59:38yeah, it is like thinking nardic. So yeah, so that could go
- 59:45it Atlantic or Arctic, but Molly male mal could be Molly so a stolen
- 59:54and Molly, why's Molly shit out? I do think Atlantic would be what
- 1:00:07I would lean towards based on word etymology, where I think things might come
- 1:00:14from. Okay, do you want to lock that in? Yes? Okay,
- 1:00:20yes it is locked confidence. Yes, I'm just your nodding like,
- 1:00:23yeah, I'm believe in you. I have no idea if you're right,
- 1:00:27but I believe in you. Yes, We're gonna find out. Does Audre
- 1:00:32have her third in a row? Correct answer and keep eighty dollars in the
- 1:00:37prize? Fun? Or is she moving to the back? Is it Atlantic?
- 1:00:52No, I'm sorry, dang, it was Arctic? Okay, I
- 1:00:57skated over it. We were there, I mean it was frozen. All
- 1:01:05right. Well, you've done well up until this point. But that's fine.
- 1:01:08You saved a lot of money in the price fund. But at this
- 1:01:10point we are going to take another ten dollars away, dropping it down to
- 1:01:14seventy, and Audress going to move to the back of the pack, bringing
- 1:01:16Matt back to the front. Long time, no, see, Matt,
- 1:01:22it's been a while. Yeah, all right, there are just two questions
- 1:01:25left, question six and question seven. Question seven is the big one,
- 1:01:30but we got to get through this one first. It's not Augus choice,
- 1:01:34it's Audress. She just moved to the back. Audre. Would you like
- 1:01:36to give Matt poetry or television? I'm wondering. Do I want to help?
- 1:01:46Yes, I'm I'm a helper by nature. Let's go television television.
- 1:01:52It is all right, Matt to keep ten dollars in the price fund and
- 1:01:57hold on to poll position. Going into question seven, here is your question
- 1:02:00on television. What show had the most total episodes? Cheers, Frasier,
- 1:02:13Friends or Seinfeld? Oh man, okay, I feel like I'm ruling out
- 1:02:21Seinfeld because they didn't have as many episodes at the start. Frasier had eleven
- 1:02:30seasons to Friends ten, so you would think Frasier would have more than Friends.
- 1:02:34But then it's whether it's whether Cheers also went for eleven and Frasier.
- 1:02:40I know I had a short or eleventh season, so it's where the Cheers
- 1:02:43is eleventh then went on longer. It's gonna be Cheers a Frasier. I
- 1:02:47know Frasier went to eleven. I don't know about Cheers. So I'm gonna
- 1:02:51say Frasier, Okay, does anyone have any other thoughts they want to share?
- 1:02:58Matt, you may or may not want to take their advice at this
- 1:03:00point, but I wouldn't take my advice. We just watched Cheers. Well,
- 1:03:04actually, Stevie's fairly safe. Yeah, Stevie has no dog in this
- 1:03:07ponyent no dog, no pony in this game. I don't know what the
- 1:03:09dog in this he got no dog. He's he's not he's not creating some
- 1:03:19horrified you're ducking talking about now. I'm never gonna get that adoption approved.
- 1:03:27Thanks anyway, you know what I mean. Stevie has news taken this.
- 1:03:34You could you could take Stev's advice, because we might not want to know.
- 1:03:37I was just saying, we watched Cheers not too long ago, and
- 1:03:39I remember it being about eleven seasons too, That's what I was like,
- 1:03:44crap, But there were a lot of episodes in those seasons opposed to the
- 1:03:47newer shows they had, would you like eighteen to twenty four or something?
- 1:03:52I think yes, so yeah, whereas think Fraser and all the other ones
- 1:03:57went to a lower count per season. That's a good that is a good
- 1:04:01point, and I think she is. Do you think CHS went eleven seasons?
- 1:04:04Do you think do you remember watching the eleventh season? If she was
- 1:04:08a while ago. I think it did. We were watching three other things
- 1:04:11now, so I can't remember. I stall out of my brain. No,
- 1:04:14that that's okay, because I might go with Cheese because it's more likely
- 1:04:16to have been a full run of episodes then than by the time of like
- 1:04:23Frasier, because I know it had a final The final season only had like
- 1:04:26eighteen episodes because they were paying Kelsey so much per episodes at that point,
- 1:04:30whereas back in the Cheese days the pay wasn't as high and they could do
- 1:04:32the full twenty two twenty four episode. I'm gonna change my so we got
- 1:04:36paid for it. Yeah, Cheer is do you want to lock that in,
- 1:04:40Matt, I'm locking in Cheers? Oh? Got you locked in before
- 1:04:43the objected trap? No, I wouldn't know it would be Cheers or Frasier.
- 1:04:48Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Okay, pretty sure? All right to
- 1:04:53keep the jackpot at seventy dollars and to stay in pole position for the all
- 1:04:58important question seven, Is Cheers the correct answer? Yes, it is done,
- 1:05:15and Stevie had the exact correct logic on that. When Cheers was on,
- 1:05:19seasons were longer. They would go for twenty four or twenty six episodes,
- 1:05:24whereas modern series only do twenty two or less. And now it's five.
- 1:05:29Yeah, it's a lot less now, But back in Cheers day,
- 1:05:32yeah, they would do twenty six or twenty four episodes a season, and
- 1:05:34they had as many as seasons as Frazier, so they had just a little
- 1:05:39bit more episode So well done. They were number one and number two.
- 1:05:42By the way, Friends, Friends, I believe was third in Seinfeld was
- 1:05:45last out of these four. But it doesn't matter. We are here.
- 1:05:50We are here at the final question, and from the for this question things
- 1:05:55work a little differently. I'm still going to give Audra the choice of two
- 1:05:59categories. Whichever category she picks is the one we're going to go for the
- 1:06:02rest of the game with this question. Now, if you get it wrong,
- 1:06:05I'm not going to tell you what the correct answer is. I will
- 1:06:08ask the next player in line to choose from the remaining three answers. If
- 1:06:13they get it wrong, it goes to the player in the back. So
- 1:06:15Audrey, you still have a chance to win, but you just need Matt
- 1:06:18and Augy to get it wrong first, So you might want to think.
- 1:06:23You might want to think very think, very very carefully about these two categories.
- 1:06:27They are the only two left. Musical cities and poetry, Audrey,
- 1:06:33which of these would you like to choose for the final question? Because we've
- 1:06:38been wanting to know what the question is the whole time. Let's go for
- 1:06:43musical cities, all right, finally gets this chance to shine. All right,
- 1:06:50So this is it question seven. Whoever gets this right is going to
- 1:06:55win whatever is left in the jackpot by the time it gets to that point.
- 1:06:58As it is, Matt, this is for seventy dollars. But if
- 1:07:01you get it wrong, you are out of the game and your charity will
- 1:07:04only receive a token five dollar donation. All right, so here is the
- 1:07:11final question. The rock bands the B fifty twos and Rim both come from
- 1:07:20a city in the state of Georgia that shares its name with what European capital
- 1:07:30Athens, London, Madrid, or Rome. Okay, so I don't know,
- 1:07:43and it's sound a couple of those do sound right next to Georgia.
- 1:07:47I can imagine that being an Athens Georgia. I can also imagine it being
- 1:07:56a Rome Georgia. You think that paw the world? What's it call?
- 1:08:01Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Athens. I'm gonna go with Athens.
- 1:08:12Would you like to lock that in? I would like to lock that
- 1:08:15in. All right, it's done, cannot be changed. Does anyone else
- 1:08:20have any thoughts before we reveal? Stevie Dodsa said no, he's just got
- 1:08:26his eyes shut. Dro What do you think I've got nothing. I probably
- 1:08:36would have gone with Athens as well, but just off of a hunch for
- 1:08:44seventy dollars for Matt's charity or to be out of the game. Is it
- 1:08:53Athens? Yes, it's awesome. It feels so good. Brilliant job,
- 1:09:17Matt, Absolutely brilliant. It is. Uh yeah, Stephen knew the whole
- 1:09:21time that one. I'm like, oh my god, you shit. I
- 1:09:28knew it was Athens. You said Rome. I'm like, no, yes,
- 1:09:32the same thing. I'll be same thing. I was like, it
- 1:09:34could be. I didn't want to skew that one an accident. Well,
- 1:09:42we've had our first winner. Yeah, Matt reminds me of what charity are
- 1:09:46you're playing for? Yeah, it's Tessa. It's a testical domestic violence charity
- 1:09:53to Also, he does lots of important work for women, men and children
- 1:09:58involved in abusive relationships and situations at home. Well, all I can say
- 1:10:04is well done. Congratulations, you've won them seventy dollars. We will send
- 1:10:09that to them right after the show. Aggie, Adra, Stevie, thanks
- 1:10:13for playing. You guys all had fun. We will be sending your charities
- 1:10:17a five dollar token donation as a way of saying thanks for playing and please
- 1:10:20come back. Yeah up, sure, did you have a good time today?
- 1:10:30Oh yes, I mean I won from the rest of us, I
- 1:10:38also had a good time. It would have been amazing no matter which way
- 1:10:44the game wouldn't won. Yeah, it's always such a blast to come on
- 1:10:46your podcasts. It's the most chill time ever, and we get to play
- 1:10:50a game show like we're on an actual game show because it has all the
- 1:10:55real tension. It's real to me. Yeah, we'll have to have you
- 1:10:59back for an episode of the List one of these times. We haven't played
- 1:11:01that in a while. It's true. Yeah, we truly love having you
- 1:11:04guys on there, and I love that our show's kind of mirror each other,
- 1:11:08you know, I mean, except that we have three members. You

- 1:11:17exist. It's just Matt doing a voice. You know, it's probably all
- 1:11:21Dre doing a voice actually not thinking about sound board. Okay, yeah,
- 1:11:29let's go with that. Sorry, Jason, You're absolutely real. I've seen
- 1:11:39him. I'm interacted with him. I know he's We're getting so much trouble

- 1:11:46an existential crisis thanks to our show. All right, well hopefully not.
