- 0:01Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you, mister President, about iran An
- 0:04Speaker 1: honor Ran. You came to the conclusion that you couldn't
- 0:07Speaker 1: negotiate with the IRGC. Does that mean that you might
- 0:10Speaker 1: wipe them out like you did Isis?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it does. We will see what's happening. We received
- 0:15Speaker 2: a call just as it was coming here.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so, mister President, Dan Kaine. Raising Kane is your
- 0:20Speaker 1: chief of staff. He was the one there joints chief
- 0:23Speaker 1: of staff. He was the one who wiped out Isis.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Could he be.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Tasked then now to wipe out the RGC If you
- 0:29Speaker 1: can't negotiate, well, will it.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Gonna be a good shape?
- 0:31Speaker 4: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Good Thursday morning.
- 0:36Speaker 5: It's so nice to have you with us on the
- 0:37Speaker 5: forty seven Morning Update, and we've got a very big
- 0:40Speaker 5: story for you. It is interesting to watch the Democratic
- 0:44Speaker 5: Party allow the Democratic.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Socialists to take over.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Well.
- 0:48Speaker 5: They now have put out their new platform and where
- 0:51Speaker 5: they want to get rid of virtually everything that makes
- 0:55Speaker 5: us a democracy and makes us the United States of America.
- 0:59Speaker 5: We have the list for you and you don't want
- 1:01Speaker 5: to miss it. It's a forty seven Morning Update, and
- 1:04Speaker 5: it starts right now story number one.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:08Speaker 5: If you want to understand how dramatically the far left
- 1:12Speaker 5: wants to transform America, well it's now in writing. You
- 1:16Speaker 5: have to look no further than the newly unveiled platform
- 1:20Speaker 5: from the Democratic Socialists of America known as the DSA.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Now this isn't simply another policy paper that's calling for,
- 1:30Speaker 5: you know, higher taxes and bigger government, which they love.
- 1:33Speaker 5: This is now a document that envisions fundamentally restructuring the
- 1:38Speaker 5: American system of government itself. Now, let me be very
- 1:43Speaker 5: clear what we're talking about. The DSA is an activist
- 1:47Speaker 5: political organization. They are not a governing body, and its
- 1:51Speaker 5: platform has no legal force. But they're running for office
- 1:56Speaker 5: and now they become incredibly influential in the Democratic coalition
- 2:00Speaker 5: as a whole. Many of the races right now are
- 2:03Speaker 5: running Democratic Socialist candidates in the Democratic primaries, and a
- 2:07Speaker 5: growing number of candidates not only identifying, but also receiving
- 2:12Speaker 5: support and winning. So what exactly are they proposing. Well,
- 2:18Speaker 5: Kayleie Mcananny explained it as she got the platform notes,
- 2:21Speaker 5: and here's what it said.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Well, the DSA debuted their New Workers Deserve More program
- 2:28Speaker 6: yesterday with a set of radical new policies that would
- 2:32Speaker 6: gut the constitution radically transform life in the United States.
- 2:37Speaker 6: The document pitches an idyllic future under socialism. Quote, imagine
- 2:42Speaker 6: taking a day off from work. In a future without capitalism,
- 2:45Speaker 6: you work as much as you are able, and no
- 2:47Speaker 6: more than needed, and you would control your own labor
- 2:50Speaker 6: and see it going to good use. It's not just
- 2:53Speaker 6: a job to pay the bills. Speaking of bills, you
- 2:55Speaker 6: don't really have them anymore. You have no debt, you
- 2:58Speaker 6: don't need health insurance, you don't pay a mortgage or
- 3:01Speaker 6: have a landlord because comfortable housing is a human right.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Just because it isn't easy to imagine how doesn't mean
- 3:07Speaker 6: we shouldn't try to make it happen. Wow, The problem
- 3:11Speaker 6: is it's failed everywhere it's been tried.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Got to be clear.
- 3:14Speaker 5: What they're asking for is replacing America our constitutional structure
- 3:19Speaker 5: with a socialist, communist Marxist system. The platform, by the Way,
- 3:25Speaker 5: calls for replacing the electoral College with a national popular vote,
- 3:30Speaker 5: expanding the House of Representatives so that they have the edge,
- 3:34Speaker 5: ending the Senate Filipbuster, reducing the Supreme Court's power of
- 3:38Speaker 5: judicial review.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Meaning they're basically meaningless.
- 3:42Speaker 5: And moving towards a quote new constitutional framework that's centered
- 3:47Speaker 5: on a single federal legislature.
- 3:50Speaker 2: This is again all in writing.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Now, if you think about what this proposal means, the
- 3:55Speaker 5: United States of America was deliberately designed with three equal
- 4:00Speaker 5: branches of government, the executive, the legislative, and the judicial.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Now Communists understand that, and they understand that's a problem.
- 4:07Speaker 5: So what they said was no, no, no, we're done
- 4:10Speaker 5: with that and forget to legislative chambers in the House
- 4:12Speaker 5: and Senate.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Right, No, that's gone as well.
- 4:16Speaker 5: The DSA is now telling Americans that all of these
- 4:19Speaker 5: institutions are undemocratic and they should be fundamentally restructured. Now
- 4:24Speaker 5: they say these changes would make quote government more representative,
- 4:29Speaker 5: and they argue that this is a dismantling of the
- 4:32Speaker 5: core of the problems we have in this country. Constitutional
- 4:36Speaker 5: checks that we don't need, balances that we don't need.
- 4:39Speaker 5: They want none of those things to exist.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Now, how did we get to this point. I'm going
- 4:45Speaker 2: to play for you part of that history.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Well, okay, in a good friend of mine at Fox
- 4:49Speaker 5: actually put it together talking about how the Democratic Party
- 4:53Speaker 5: has now allowed and it's really interesting to watch the
- 4:58Speaker 5: communists and the socialists to avert completely take over.
- 5:01Speaker 7: And as socialism takes root. Now in the Democrat Party,
- 5:05Speaker 7: are voters taking to socialism? We may not have an
- 5:08Speaker 7: answer yet, but we are getting a pretty clear picture
- 5:11Speaker 7: of what Democratic Socialists have in mind for America. Total fundamental,
- 5:17Speaker 7: radical change to pretty much every area of government. The
- 5:21Speaker 7: DSA underscoring that plan for a people in a new
- 5:24Speaker 7: platform just released. Let's walk through it together. We have
- 5:29Speaker 7: it up on the wall. It's no less radical than
- 5:31Speaker 7: starting with replacing the President and the Supreme Court of
- 5:36Speaker 7: the United States. But we're just now getting started because
- 5:40Speaker 7: the DSA would also abolish the United States Senate, expand
- 5:44Speaker 7: the House of Representatives, and move to rank choice voting,
- 5:47Speaker 7: the likes of which you see in California. Still working
- 5:51Speaker 7: to transform America. The DSA proposes, like many Democrats, to
- 5:55Speaker 7: make Washington, DC a state, to defund the Department of War,
- 6:00Speaker 7: end ice attention and deportation, and grant amnesty to all
- 6:05Speaker 7: illegal immigrants. Now, these are the radical transformational things proposed
- 6:12Speaker 7: by the Democratic Socialist of America. Some of these we've
- 6:17Speaker 7: heard already from establishment Democrats. They've opened the door, and
- 6:22Speaker 7: the DSA has simply walked through the door.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Would you like to abolish the Senate?
- 6:28Speaker 7: That's part of our platform, And we don't think that's extreme.
- 6:31Speaker 2: We think it's a.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Change that would help make this country more democratic.
- 6:35Speaker 8: We need that illegal aliens in the country, don't.
- 6:38Speaker 2: They need to be removed.
- 6:39Speaker 9: We believe that demilitarizing the border, that violent oppression of
- 6:43Speaker 9: working class immigrants who come here, is not something that
- 6:46Speaker 9: most Americans want.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Democrats are left scrambling. America may be left scrambling. It's
- 6:50Speaker 7: like running for class president in high school against someone
- 6:53Speaker 7: that promises free ice team for everybody every day at lunch.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I mean, take a look.
- 6:58Speaker 7: These are types of things being said by the imagine
- 7:00Speaker 7: taking a day off from work. In the future without capitalism,
- 7:04Speaker 7: you work as much as you are able and no
- 7:08Speaker 7: more than needed, and it's always accompanied by the friendly
- 7:12Speaker 7: little fist deal not sweet enough for you?
- 7:14Speaker 2: There's more. How about this from the DSA.
- 7:17Speaker 7: You won't have any bills, no debt, no need for
- 7:20Speaker 7: health insurance, no mortgage, no landlords, retirement publicly funded. Sounds
- 7:26Speaker 7: too good to be true. That's because, of course, you're
- 7:29Speaker 7: not a sap. But for now, all of this is
- 7:33Speaker 7: too much for traditional Democrats. It's too hard to compete.
- 7:38Speaker 7: So you're looking at traditional establishment democrats say don't look here,
- 7:43Speaker 7: look over here, Like for a President Biden who has
- 7:46Speaker 7: a book he'd like to talk about, but not until
- 7:49Speaker 7: after the midterms.
- 7:50Speaker 8: It's about the challenge we face as a nation, about
- 7:53Speaker 8: these decisions I made.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Why I made.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Them, leading the country through COVID, rebuilding.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Our economy and restoring our democracy after the attack on
- 8:08Speaker 5: January sixth, any in our nation's longest war in Afghandestan.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Strength data is supporting.
- 8:16Speaker 7: Ukraine as Biden slurs his way through the past the
- 8:19Speaker 7: far left full stream ahead into the future, knocking the
- 8:23Speaker 7: Democrat establishment off its feet in the process. So the
- 8:27Speaker 7: big tent we've heard about, well, it's hard to really
- 8:30Speaker 7: know if they're winning the hearts and minds the DSA.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Are they winning the hearts and minds of Democrats. It's
- 8:36Speaker 7: hard to know, just know they're running against this.
- 8:39Speaker 9: I request thirty more seconds because I rise before you,
- 8:42Speaker 9: adorning these gentlemen for personal tension, not for personal attention,
- 8:47Speaker 9: but to encourage you to take I am going to
- 8:53Speaker 9: be working on our behalf. I am going to be
- 8:56Speaker 9: telling the stories on our behalf, and you better believe
- 9:01Speaker 9: I'm going to be doing it with a little bit
- 9:03Speaker 9: of joy, a little bit of enthusiasm, a little bit
- 9:05Speaker 9: of energy, and a little bit of sicket to them,
- 9:09Speaker 9: because that's the Michigan way.
- 9:12Speaker 7: That is Democratic establishment candidate Haley Stevens, who's running against
- 9:16Speaker 7: socialist candidate Abdul Lsi, ed for Senate in Michigan. Somebody
- 9:20Speaker 7: clever on X said. The Democrats said we need new voices,
- 9:23Speaker 7: and here's Haley Stevens to offer you a nineteen thirties
- 9:26Speaker 7: baseball manager. But can't we say it's something we've seen before.
- 9:30Speaker 2: You better thank a union member.
- 9:34Speaker 3: For the five day work week.
- 9:37Speaker 4: You better thank a union member for sick leave.
- 9:40Speaker 6: You better thank a union member for paid leave.
- 9:43Speaker 2: You better thank a union member for vacation time.
- 9:46Speaker 9: All right, all right, listen, all right, listen, listen, Okay,
- 9:51Speaker 9: list see.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I don't feel no ways tired. I come too far
- 9:58Speaker 3: from where I started from. Nobody told me that the
- 10:03Speaker 3: road would be easy.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Hayley Stevens doesn't even take the gold for changing accents
- 10:08Speaker 7: in front of her audience, and not least among Democrats.
- 10:11Speaker 7: But the problem, see for Democrats isn't how they're speaking,
- 10:13Speaker 7: it's what they're speaking about. That's the problem.
- 10:18Speaker 8: Legitimately, when the campaign consultants told me, hey, we're gonna
- 10:23Speaker 8: hit this line because Kamala Harris came out in favor
- 10:26Speaker 8: of taxpayer funded sex changes for illegal aliens, and I
- 10:30Speaker 8: remembering myself, come on, you guys, like, she didn't really
- 10:34Speaker 8: say that.
- 10:34Speaker 2: It's taken out of context. And then I go and
- 10:36Speaker 2: look at it. I'm like, holy, she actually said.
- 10:39Speaker 8: That, and was she really was like the very worst
- 10:45Speaker 8: version of what the Democrats were producing in twenty twenty.
- 10:48Speaker 8: The thing is it was they were all doing it
- 10:50Speaker 8: because that was the incentives of the party.
- 10:53Speaker 5: You listen there by the way to the Vice president
- 10:55Speaker 5: and what he's saying, this is the incentives of the party.
- 10:59Speaker 5: It is no oh shock that we now are at
- 11:01Speaker 5: a point where we have the Democratic Socialists of America
- 11:06Speaker 5: who really are running the agenda, who are pushing the future,
- 11:11Speaker 5: who are advocating for destroying this country. When they tell
- 11:16Speaker 5: you what they believe in, please believe them. They're not lying, folks.
- 11:23Speaker 5: This is what they believe. And it's only going to
- 11:27Speaker 5: get worse.
