- 0:08Speaker 1: Scrible advice. Shoot, welcome to them, not even nice. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your holster, Rob. Shooter is Wednesday, which means our dear friends,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Donnie meets Chum joins us, Hey, Donnie, are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hello Lola Wednesday. Super excited to be here. And I
- 0:27Speaker 1: must say, Rob, I am always a huge fan of yours,
- 0:30Speaker 1: but your coverage of Queen Elizabeth's passing has truly been
- 0:34Speaker 1: something special and I think admirable, and I think you really,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you know, put on a show they were all proud of.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Darling. It's been a lot of work,
- 0:42Speaker 1: but enjoy every many of it is the wrong thing
- 0:45Speaker 1: to say. I don't want to say I enjoy this.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm good at this, and when you do something that
- 0:49Speaker 1: you're good at, it's a lot easier. I know this stuff.
- 0:53Speaker 1: The hardest thing for me about doing all this coverage
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna be back on TV tomorrow morning too, is
- 0:59Speaker 1: not not knowing the information or being worried that I
- 1:02Speaker 1: can't answer the question. I now I can answer the question.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's getting the tone right. You don't want to be silly.
- 1:08Speaker 1: We did this segment about the Queen's sense of humor,
- 1:10Speaker 1: which I think was a really good segment to do
- 1:12Speaker 1: with all this heaviness. It's good to remember to show
- 1:15Speaker 1: a wicked sense of humor, which I love, and it
- 1:18Speaker 1: was fun to laugh. But then afterwards you have to
- 1:21Speaker 1: get back into a more serious tone. So for me,
- 1:24Speaker 1: that's the most difficult thing. Donna, you do a ton
- 1:26Speaker 1: of TV two, don't you agree. It's not necessarily the facts.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You've got to know the facts. You shouldn't be on
- 1:31Speaker 1: TV if you don't have information. But it's the tone.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's the sensibility that's the hardest part. What do you
- 1:37Speaker 1: think it really is? And there's been times where it's
- 1:40Speaker 1: like I've talked about people dying and they've had people
- 1:43Speaker 1: come back to me. Was like, Danny, you were so chipper,
- 1:45Speaker 1: Like why are you so happy? But I was like,
- 1:47Speaker 1: that's just me talking in general, because you think on
- 1:49Speaker 1: TV you're supposed to be happy and excited. It was
- 1:52Speaker 1: always Yeah. I was once in the audience between shows
- 1:56Speaker 1: at the Katie Couract show. I can tell the story
- 1:58Speaker 1: now because the show is no longer on, so I
- 2:00Speaker 1: knew Katie. So it's in the audience just hanging out
- 2:02Speaker 1: and she was doing a pre tape, so it was
- 2:05Speaker 1: some hurricane and she had ginger Z on the weather
- 2:08Speaker 1: person from ABC Good Morning America. But ginger Z was
- 2:12Speaker 1: not yet a superstar, and so Ginger was at this tragedy.
- 2:16Speaker 1: The whole town had it looked like it had been
- 2:17Speaker 1: wiped off the map. And so Katie did a pre
- 2:20Speaker 1: tape that means she's not live, it's taped, and they
- 2:23Speaker 1: edited into the show. So I was just sitting in
- 2:25Speaker 1: the studio. It was empty. It was me and the
- 2:27Speaker 1: camera guys and Katie and she taped a segment with
- 2:29Speaker 1: Ginger and at the end of the segment, Katie said,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I think we should do it again, Ginger, and this
- 2:34Speaker 1: time maybe don't laugh. She was right. She was right.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Ginger also too had this huge diamond ring guard and
- 2:42Speaker 1: Katie said, Honey, you're in the middle of a zap
- 2:45Speaker 1: take the ring. And I thought, God, that's why Katie
- 2:48Speaker 1: Couric is the best in the business, because every single
- 2:52Speaker 1: detail she notices. I was sitting there like oh. And
- 2:55Speaker 1: at first I was like, oh cool, ginger Z just
- 2:58Speaker 1: got told off baka correct, And then I was like, actually,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Katie did her a favorite. Had that segment aired, Ginger
- 3:04Speaker 1: would have looked like a monster. Fascinating. Well, thank you
- 3:07Speaker 1: for being so kind, Darling. Let's jump into our show.
- 3:10Speaker 1: What time is it? My friends? It is gosh, this
- 3:14Speaker 1: is so gossipy. So Christina Aguilera has unfollowed Britney Spears
- 3:18Speaker 1: after a really ugly body shaming post. So it turns
- 3:22Speaker 1: out that words actually can bring you down. Look what
- 3:24Speaker 1: I did there. Christina Aguilera and followed Brittany on Instagram
- 3:29Speaker 1: over a controversial post the body shamed the beautiful singer's
- 3:35Speaker 1: backup dancers. Let me explain what happened here? So this
- 3:38Speaker 1: social media snub followed Britney Spears, posting a very lengthy
- 3:42Speaker 1: caption that read, in part quote if I had Christina
- 3:46Speaker 1: Aguilera's dancers, I would have looked extremely small. Then Brittany
- 3:52Speaker 1: went on to say quote I found there is only
- 3:55Speaker 1: one way to look thin, hang out with fat people.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Oh so this is still up on Brittney's page. She
- 4:03Speaker 1: hasn't taken it dan yet. One person commented, quote body
- 4:07Speaker 1: shaming of us is not a good move, Brittany. Another
- 4:09Speaker 1: person said, you need to delete this now when it's
- 4:12Speaker 1: when it's comes to Christina's attention and she hasn't said
- 4:15Speaker 1: anything yet. But she didn't follow her. This is not
- 4:19Speaker 1: nice on it, and apparently others have started to unfollow
- 4:23Speaker 1: Britney Spears as well. Apparently Madonna did Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton.
- 4:27Speaker 1: What's funny is those ladies were at Brittany's wedding wedding,
- 4:31Speaker 1: so these are people who are close to her. But
- 4:34Speaker 1: I think the problem here is Brittany is very troubled.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I think we cannot forget that. But at some point
- 4:40Speaker 1: you do have to take action for your words. We
- 4:43Speaker 1: make Kanye, we hold him responsible for his words during
- 4:46Speaker 1: his tirades. When are we going to start holding Brittany
- 4:48Speaker 1: responsible for her shameful words when she had has melt
- 4:52Speaker 1: downs too. I am the first one to defend Brittany,
- 4:54Speaker 1: but not here. What she said was wrong. The quote
- 4:57Speaker 1: is wrong. She's fat shaming not only the dancers, but
- 5:00Speaker 1: she's also fat. Jimmy Christie, it's wrong. It's wrong. It's
- 5:04Speaker 1: absolutely wrong, and I think we're allowed to say that.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We have to tread very carefully. If Brittany don't, we
- 5:09Speaker 1: and frightened. I've ever seen anything really cruel because of
- 5:12Speaker 1: everything she's been through. But at the same time, you've
- 5:16Speaker 1: got to own up to the facts. Brittany, this is
- 5:19Speaker 1: wrong if you're listening a level level low and we
- 5:22Speaker 1: don't you know, dislike you forever. We all make mistakes,
- 5:24Speaker 1: don't we done it? We've also silly, silly stuff. But
- 5:26Speaker 1: I think we can't saint Brittany, and I think we've
- 5:29Speaker 1: had the tendency to do that, haven't we. This is
- 5:32Speaker 1: how life works, isn't it. We often see black and
- 5:34Speaker 1: white and all shades of gray. None of us are angels,
- 5:37Speaker 1: none of us are devils. Maybe one or two I'm
- 5:40Speaker 1: looking at. Very few people are either, or most of
- 5:43Speaker 1: us are some shade in the middle. And Brittany is
- 5:45Speaker 1: this too. I know she has extreme, extreme mental health problem,
- 5:50Speaker 1: She's spoken about them, but it still doesn't give you
- 5:53Speaker 1: a pass. This is just ugly. It is wrong, Brittany,
- 5:57Speaker 1: take it down. I want to find out what you think, though,
- 6:00Speaker 1: So let's go to my pole of the day. Christina
- 6:02Speaker 1: Aguilera has unfollowed Britney Spears after a really ugly body
- 6:06Speaker 1: shaming post. Are you team Christina or are you team Brittany?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Go out on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob
- 6:14Speaker 1: on a Facebook page Naughty Gossip, and be sure to
- 6:17Speaker 1: check back to morower to hear your results. Study love,
- 6:21Speaker 1: what are you working on? Wow? The Succession creator created
- 6:26Speaker 1: a little bit of drama at the Emmy's because he
- 6:29Speaker 1: disked King Charles the Third during his EMMA two speech.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Succession creator Jesse Armstrong. He accepted the speech for Best
- 6:38Speaker 1: Drama Series at the Emmys this year for Succession, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: he goes big week for Successions new King in the
- 6:44Speaker 1: UK for US, it is note that he is a
- 6:48Speaker 1: UK native. He said in front of the audience, evidently
- 6:51Speaker 1: a little more voting involved in our winning than Prince Charles,
- 6:55Speaker 1: which is a little awkward, and as cheers and gasps
- 6:58Speaker 1: filled the room, he I'm not saying we're more legitimate
- 7:02Speaker 1: in our position than he is. Will leave that up
- 7:05Speaker 1: to other people. I mean, your time is terrible, but
- 7:10Speaker 1: what you're saying is absolutely true. I mean they did win,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and they got voted, and Prince Charles did not get elected.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Here it's a debate to have maybe a little further
- 7:22Speaker 1: down the road, Johnny, but I think this is very interesting.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It started to happen a little bit. I think it
- 7:29Speaker 1: is now wrong for leaders to be born. They're not
- 7:32Speaker 1: born there, they're chosen, and we get to choose them,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and so the monarchy. You know, I love it, I
- 7:40Speaker 1: absolutely love it. But even though I admit it's an
- 7:44Speaker 1: antiquated institution, it's not modern. Just deciding who the king
- 7:51Speaker 1: or the queen is by birth is a terrible idea
- 7:54Speaker 1: because if you get a bad one, you're stuck with them.
- 7:57Speaker 1: We're very lucky Queen Elizabeth was marvelous, so for seven
- 8:00Speaker 1: in two years, we've not actually really had to think
- 8:01Speaker 1: about this halfway. But if you get a stinker, if
- 8:04Speaker 1: you get a bad king or a queen. She was
- 8:06Speaker 1: on the throne for seventy years. So the reason we
- 8:09Speaker 1: are started to talk about this is it still is
- 8:11Speaker 1: undetermined yet what sort of king Charles will be. I
- 8:15Speaker 1: don't think he'll be a bad one. At best, he
- 8:17Speaker 1: will be a modest, nice is a good man. And
- 8:20Speaker 1: I think Chance is actually aware of the problem he
- 8:23Speaker 1: has to particularly with younger people. People of my age
- 8:27Speaker 1: and my parents age. People that are older than me
- 8:29Speaker 1: are not having this debate as much as young people.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But I don't think young people would bow down to
- 8:35Speaker 1: somebody just because they were born into privilege. Oh absolutely,
- 8:40Speaker 1: And I think young people today they grew up Queen
- 8:42Speaker 1: Elizabeth was always there. Queen Elizabeth is who we knew.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth was the queen. And now you're looking at
- 8:47Speaker 1: and you go, wait, all of a sudden, we have
- 8:48Speaker 1: a new king. And he was only the king because
- 8:51Speaker 1: he just happened to be next, just to happen to
- 8:53Speaker 1: be the next one. That's not fair. I think you know,
- 8:56Speaker 1: we've talked a lot about justice in the world and
- 8:59Speaker 1: privilege and how you get away with things. Can you
- 9:01Speaker 1: imagine be the king? For No, you didn't pass any test,
- 9:06Speaker 1: nobody elected you. I don't want to upset the royalists
- 9:09Speaker 1: on the show, and this is not the time really
- 9:10Speaker 1: for this debate. That's why everybody's cringing at what the
- 9:14Speaker 1: succession guy said, the creator of succession. But if you
- 9:17Speaker 1: actually read the quote wrong, do you're not the other
- 9:23Speaker 1: problem they're gonna have too, that's bubbling up in Britain.
- 9:25Speaker 1: In Britain, you pay inheritance tax. So if the relative
- 9:30Speaker 1: dies when my mom, God forbid, who I think is
- 9:33Speaker 1: the queen when she passes away? If I inherit anything,
- 9:36Speaker 1: my brothers and sisters and I will pay for tax.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Charles is not paying any tax, and he's he's inheriting
- 9:44Speaker 1: a lot more than Mrs Shooters leaving. Can you imagine
- 9:47Speaker 1: the queen leaves you all the no tax. We're not
- 9:53Speaker 1: that type of show. We're a gossip show. So let's
- 9:54Speaker 1: keep moving along, Darbie, how dare you bring us down?
- 9:57Speaker 1: Moving along? Pete Davidson copied Kanye. Look at the Emmy Awards.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So Pete came out. He was the surprise guest, which
- 10:04Speaker 1: I think is a bit of a surprise too. Normally
- 10:06Speaker 1: a surprise guest is Oprah or Beyonce. Pete Davidson, is
- 10:09Speaker 1: he suddenly now a guest? I guess he is. It's
- 10:12Speaker 1: like a hot celebrity now. So Pete turned up walk
- 10:14Speaker 1: out on stage. He was wearing exactly the same outfit
- 10:17Speaker 1: that Kanye West water they met in two thousand and nineteen.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I think Pete is not going to let this go.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So we know that Kim uses everything she can to
- 10:27Speaker 1: remain relevant in the spotlight. I think it's rubbed up
- 10:30Speaker 1: on Pete. Pete has tasted. I spoke to a friend
- 10:32Speaker 1: of Pete. He has tasted this type of fame that
- 10:37Speaker 1: is beyond reach. This is even greater than when he
- 10:40Speaker 1: was dating Ryan a grand This is greater than a
- 10:44Speaker 1: Rod had with j Lo. He has tasted probably the
- 10:48Speaker 1: pinnacle of celebrity fame. He don't want to let it go,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and so he's going to keep referring to this. I
- 10:55Speaker 1: understand what he's doing, but I'm not sure it's a
- 10:58Speaker 1: good look. Literally, I didn't like the clothes either. Literally,
- 11:02Speaker 1: fame is an addiction, and I think we have talked
- 11:04Speaker 1: about that before, the same thing with a Rod and
- 11:07Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez. I think he tasted a bit of their fame,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and then afterwards he just tried to keep writing those
- 11:14Speaker 1: coattails and it didn't work, and it just became ugly.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And I think if Pete was smart, he would dabble
- 11:19Speaker 1: in and out of it. He should really just trickle
- 11:22Speaker 1: in and then trickle out. I would drink. He'll get backlash, Yeah,
- 11:26Speaker 1: he'll get backlash. What I do like about this theory
- 11:28Speaker 1: is we were very worried about Kanye Bully and Pete,
- 11:31Speaker 1: and now I don't feel so bad about it. I
- 11:33Speaker 1: think Pete can handle himself, and I think Pete's given
- 11:35Speaker 1: as good as he gets. Wait till Kanye see, oh,
- 11:37Speaker 1: it's going to explode. He's gonna explode Okay, another naughty
- 11:44Speaker 1: royal story. But they're starting to happen. This is what
- 11:46Speaker 1: happens in celebrity gossip been reported in journalism. There's a backlash.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So we have four days of love, of nothing but
- 11:54Speaker 1: kindness and attention, and then people are like, hang on
- 11:57Speaker 1: a minute. And one of those people is how A
- 12:00Speaker 1: s Donne. How would start. He would slam this show
- 12:03Speaker 1: right now, he said, Howard, starting to slaming the annoying
- 12:08Speaker 1: US coverage of the Queen's death, saying enough the outspoken
- 12:13Speaker 1: radio personality, he slammed the wall to wall US media
- 12:16Speaker 1: coverage of the monarch's death in a tirade. It's weird
- 12:19Speaker 1: traditions and everything, and I'm like Jesus, enough with the queen,
- 12:23Speaker 1: he told Robin Quivers when her death was brought up.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I mean, it's America. We don't have a queen. I mean,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I get it, he continued. The queen was a nice lady.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I guess that's such like a back end of compliment.
- 12:34Speaker 1: My whole life, the queen has been the same queen,
- 12:36Speaker 1: and there's a tradition there and she did her duty
- 12:38Speaker 1: to her country. I get it, I get it, I
- 12:40Speaker 1: get it. But we gotta get back to Trump. Where
- 12:43Speaker 1: those papers are that they founded? Marlock like yeah. When
- 12:49Speaker 1: Quivers interjected and asked if he didn't like the distraction
- 12:52Speaker 1: of the queen, he shot back, no, it's annoying. Oh
- 12:56Speaker 1: do you think you've seen me on television one too
- 12:58Speaker 1: many times? I think I did this? Shut up? Who
- 13:03Speaker 1: was that British guy on TV with a podcast? Imagine Howard?
- 13:08Speaker 1: We know Howard's people at Serious sex and should we
- 13:10Speaker 1: email him? Go? You want guest? Why don't we do it? Gary?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Let's let's seemil Gary right that Doddy used to work
- 13:16Speaker 1: at Serious x M, so he knows everything about them.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Does he have his own light wing of the company,
- 13:22Speaker 1: like his own wing with the door locked? No, a
- 13:24Speaker 1: separate elevator in your past doesn't work for that side
- 13:29Speaker 1: for serious exam your past does not work on the
- 13:31Speaker 1: out door. No. Do they have a separate like kitchen?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Because that apple juice is an orange or free in
- 13:39Speaker 1: the fridge. I would imagine Howard has a separate He's
- 13:42Speaker 1: not in your kitchen. Yeah, oh no, I would assume
- 13:44Speaker 1: he has. I've never been in that wing. Like he
- 13:46Speaker 1: didn't work, I've seen him walking down He's actually a
- 13:48Speaker 1: very very lovely man who says hi to people when
- 13:51Speaker 1: he walks by, but he's very to him. At a
- 13:53Speaker 1: party at Chelsea, Piace bumped in. I was invited sort of,
- 13:57Speaker 1: and so it was a party. It was a charity
- 14:00Speaker 1: for the Long Island Humane Society that his wife Beth does.
- 14:04Speaker 1: He meant an incredible work for, so there's some charity
- 14:07Speaker 1: for that. I went. He was with her, very shy,
- 14:10Speaker 1: very humble, and he's seven foot talls and he stands
- 14:13Speaker 1: out in the review disappear, and but he was very nice.
- 14:16Speaker 1: He was very very nice. I'm not sure about I mean,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm struggling with it because I love her. You know,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I love the Queen. You're not quite as in love
- 14:23Speaker 1: with her as I am. Are you, Donna? Are you
- 14:25Speaker 1: sick of all yet having an Obama? Are you sick
- 14:28Speaker 1: of all the band? Queen? They said, Queen. I was like,
- 14:32Speaker 1: lead Tifa, Are you are you glued to the television
- 14:35Speaker 1: watching only when you're on Sweet? Because you've got taste?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Quickly before we go to break, Leonardo DiCaprio is getting
- 14:42Speaker 1: very close with j Jade Headed so they're trying to
- 14:45Speaker 1: get to new one another. So maybe he's finally widening
- 14:49Speaker 1: his age range. It was reported that he dumps you
- 14:51Speaker 1: when you turned twenty five is twenty seven, bigos, So
- 14:55Speaker 1: maybe here he's expanded his age. I don't know about
- 14:59Speaker 1: the stated Leo Giji. I was you Run, Run Run.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He's not the game Titanic anymore. He's not Jack. I
- 15:09Speaker 1: don't know about these two. Hey, we're gonna take a
- 15:11Speaker 1: quick break and we will beat right back. Welcome back
- 15:14Speaker 1: to the even nice show. I'm your friend, Johnny meat chum, Hey, Danny,
- 15:18Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Talked about how Prince Harry
- 15:22Speaker 1: was saddened that he can't wear his military uniform to
- 15:26Speaker 1: the queen's funeral. Should Harry be allowed to play dress up?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Oh eight percent said yes. If
- 15:32Speaker 1: he wants to put on the uniform and play soldier,
- 15:36Speaker 1: let him do it. And we've been silly. I get it.
- 15:38Speaker 1: He's earned the right too. He was in the military
- 15:40Speaker 1: for over a decade and he wasn't just sitting in
- 15:42Speaker 1: the palace. He was in Afghanistan. He went to the
- 15:45Speaker 1: war zone. He really did this study. I say, let
- 15:49Speaker 1: him do it. Where are you? Absolutely he earned that
- 15:52Speaker 1: right put onto that uniform. Put it on and never
- 15:55Speaker 1: take it off. Don't forget to vote on today's poker
- 15:57Speaker 1: to Twitter page at naughty nice Rob. I've small just
- 16:00Speaker 1: know what he goes here, man, it's huge. Jack back
- 16:02Speaker 1: to mob bro. What to hear your results? Hey, Donnie,
- 16:05Speaker 1: let's do And nicest of the day. The nicest of
- 16:10Speaker 1: the day is Jody Benson, who was the original aerial
- 16:14Speaker 1: voice actress. She reacted to Hallie Bailey's portrayal. So the
- 16:18Speaker 1: new teaser came out for the new Little Mermaid starring
- 16:21Speaker 1: Hallie Bailey, I loved it. Oh beautiful, and Jody tuck
- 16:25Speaker 1: and she says, Hallie, you were absolutely amazing. I'm so
- 16:31Speaker 1: proud of you and your beautiful performance as Ariel. And
- 16:35Speaker 1: that's really sweet because I know there's been a lot
- 16:37Speaker 1: of people her race. Hallie is a black girl. People
- 16:41Speaker 1: are saying, you know Ariel, she couldn't. It was a character,
- 16:44Speaker 1: it was a cartoon. I love this. Jodny Benson is exceptional.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Bruce wrote the score to Thumbelino with his partner Barry,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and Jody Benson was the voice of Thumberlina. So I've
- 16:56Speaker 1: met her class act I love this, I love this,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I love of this and nicest after day, and she's
- 17:02Speaker 1: passing the bat on. She was a little mermaid to
- 17:06Speaker 1: live along and do not yes to the day. Chris
