Feast Down East just landed a $10,000 grant to fuel its Farmers Fighting Hunger program, delivering fresh local produce to 7,000 food-insecure residents in New Hanover County. Using a certified Food Hub, partner agencies like senior centers and food pantries can now order directly from local farms, slashing costs and boosting community access.
