- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome to bus this mess on the Drugrund podcast.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I don't care. Here's to say, Stu, h all right,
- 0:25Speaker 1: we're back this week and we are going to oh Laurden.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I don't even remember because I wrote this weeks.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Ago, Stu, and you haven't opened that.
- 0:34Speaker 1: No, that's editing things. A lot of things have happened. No,
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's there in Texas. We're going to Texas. I'm not
- 0:43Speaker 1: going to edit it out. It is what it is.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It's a lot has happened since I wrote this episode.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Like what.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Like a human?
- 0:52Speaker 2: A human?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yes? Anyway, So if you don't fall us on social media,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I've had the baby. He is here, he is well, he.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Is taking a nap at the moment.
- 1:05Speaker 1: He's nine days old. He's a pretty chill baby. He slept,
- 1:11Speaker 1: He actually slept, like what telling did? He sleep probably
- 1:16Speaker 1: four and a half almost five hours straight last night
- 1:19Speaker 1: and then he gets up. He's put himself on a
- 1:21Speaker 1: little bit of a schedule already. We didn't even try.
- 1:24Speaker 2: We appreciate it.
- 1:25Speaker 1: That's of course. This is right now. He's brand new,
- 1:28Speaker 1: so things can change, but we're gonna just take the
- 1:30Speaker 1: winds where we can. So he slept really he's been
- 1:33Speaker 1: sleeping really well. He sleeps in his bassinet. You just
- 1:36Speaker 1: lay him down, he's good to go. So anyways, so yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: we had the baby nine days ago. He came in
- 1:45Speaker 1: on his due date on the Friday the thirteenth. It
- 1:48Speaker 1: took me forever to have the baby.
- 1:52Speaker 2: We did.
- 1:53Speaker 1: If you want to hear the whole story, we're not
- 1:54Speaker 1: gonna do the whole bird story here again, but we
- 1:56Speaker 1: did the whole rundown.
- 1:57Speaker 2: In what about the after birth story?
- 2:00Speaker 1: What the after birth story?
- 2:04Speaker 2: After his birth?
- 2:06Speaker 1: What is after his birth?
- 2:08Speaker 2: It was a plan for hard care after birth.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Okay, Stu, I don't want to talk about whatever disgusting
- 2:13Speaker 1: things come out of me after a baby's born, Okay
- 2:16Speaker 1: that you continually remind me of or what I do
- 2:19Speaker 1: not you have more disgusting things come out in the bathroom.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I can guarantee at least mine produced a nice little human. Anyways,
- 2:27Speaker 1: we had so anyway, so just briefly, just to catch
- 2:31Speaker 1: you guys up. If you want the whole rundown, you
- 2:32Speaker 1: can go. We did a shoot the pooh uh. That's
- 2:35Speaker 1: all that we talked about. If you don't want to
- 2:37Speaker 1: hear about it, then you don't go and listen to
- 2:39Speaker 1: that that's on the Patreon anyways, So some things we
- 2:43Speaker 1: were worried about. We did figure out his name because
- 2:44Speaker 1: we were pressured by the birth certificate lady again like
- 2:47Speaker 1: she did last time, same lady for the last baby
- 2:51Speaker 1: we had there. You can't leave the hospital unless you
- 2:53Speaker 1: give the baby a name. So we had until two
- 2:56Speaker 1: thirty that day.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And we came up with Surpriday. She was going home. Yes,
- 3:00Speaker 2: if we didn't have one, she'd see us Monday morning.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Yes, so no, she's no, they're no entrancing and pay
- 3:07Speaker 1: for to say that long. She said we'd have to
- 3:08Speaker 1: wait till the lady came in on Saturday. The lady, Yes,
- 3:11Speaker 1: the weekend lady, so we would have had to wait
- 3:13Speaker 1: till the Saturday lady. So anyway, so we did pick
- 3:16Speaker 1: on a name there at the end. And then so
- 3:19Speaker 1: I went in. Everyone thought I was gonna have this.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Nobody I could understand why I was still pregnant. When
- 3:24Speaker 1: I went in on my induction day, everyone thought the
- 3:26Speaker 1: doctor everything because I got a membrane swite. I was
- 3:28Speaker 1: five centimeters like this my fourth baby, the last one
- 3:32Speaker 1: literally like fell out of me, like there's no reason
- 3:35Speaker 1: why I shouldn't have gone into labor on my own.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So we get to the induction, I'm like, this is crazy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: So it ends up taking there's a lot of information there,
- 3:45Speaker 1: but it ends up taking fourteen hours of labor or whatever.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I did get the epidural because we found out. We
- 3:52Speaker 1: found out at the end, right at the end, like
- 3:55Speaker 1: when I was nine centimeters, they're like, oh, this baby's
- 3:57Speaker 1: sunny side up. It's called it's called OP or whatever
- 4:00Speaker 1: is the well those letters stand for something. I can't
- 4:04Speaker 1: remember what she said, but it's basically the flip. Baby
- 4:06Speaker 1: flipped sometime between like he'd been in position this whole
- 4:09Speaker 1: entire time. So if they're not in position, which is
- 4:12Speaker 1: their face down, if their sunny side up looking up,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you won't progress in labor because it's not an ideal
- 4:18Speaker 1: labor position, Like that's not one that your body wants
- 4:21Speaker 1: or the baby wants. So it's just not gonna progress.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So that's why it took so long, because everybody thought
- 4:25Speaker 1: i'd have the baby by like noon that day. Anyways,
- 4:28Speaker 1: So what happened was I was trying to do it
- 4:29Speaker 1: without the epidural, because as you've heard, I'm not against
- 4:35Speaker 1: the epidurl. I love the epidol. It failed the last
- 4:37Speaker 1: two times, so I was like going back and forth.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, maybe I'm just power through because it
- 4:42Speaker 1: you know, the labors are really short. May we just
- 4:44Speaker 1: powers We're gonna get through. Well, what happened was I
- 4:46Speaker 1: was on induction, so I was on potocin, which makes
- 4:49Speaker 1: the contractions worse, and then on top of it a
- 4:52Speaker 1: sunny side up baby. The contractions caused back labor, which
- 4:56Speaker 1: is like because he's his head's pushing into your tailbone
- 4:59Speaker 1: or whatever I guess, and it makes it like ten
- 5:01Speaker 1: times worse. So when I was like six centimeters, the
- 5:05Speaker 1: contractions really started and like painful, and it was it
- 5:09Speaker 1: felt like whenever I was about to have the baby
- 5:11Speaker 1: last time, Like that's how painful it was. And I
- 5:12Speaker 1: was like, we're not even cool. I'm like the lady.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I was like the Nur's like, come in and check me.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It's gotta be like happening.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Happening because like last time, I went from like five
- 5:20Speaker 1: or six centimeters to the baby being out in forty
- 5:23Speaker 1: five minutes. I was like, Okay, that's gonna happen. So
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was like, oh God, we've already We've We've shot
- 5:27Speaker 1: up right like ten centimeters this thing. She came like, oh,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you're a five and a half six. I'm like what.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I was like, Okay. I told Joe, was like, I
- 5:34Speaker 1: gotta get I gotta, we gotta. Can I try for
- 5:36Speaker 1: the epidural. We gotta And He's like, yeah, like whatever,
- 5:39Speaker 1: whatever you want to do, whatever, And so we I
- 5:43Speaker 1: got the epidural. This guy named Jovie came in. I
- 5:46Speaker 1: had a good feeling about him. I told him about
- 5:47Speaker 1: all this stuff about how the last two failed. At
- 5:50Speaker 1: that point, I'm having these like horrible contractions, which I
- 5:53Speaker 1: didn't know at the time I was having the back
- 5:54Speaker 1: labor because we didn't know what the baby was sunny
- 5:56Speaker 1: side up. That wasn't until later that we fully understand. Anyways,
- 5:59Speaker 1: he came in, he gave me the epidol. It took
- 6:01Speaker 1: him forever to get it. He had to try three times,
- 6:03Speaker 1: he had to get alonger needle. He said, my bones
- 6:04Speaker 1: were tired or something like that, but he did it.
- 6:08Speaker 1: The little nurse intern in the corner, she passed out
- 6:11Speaker 1: or she Steve's like, she didn't pass out, but she did.
- 6:14Speaker 1: She was standing in the corner. They asked if a
- 6:17Speaker 1: nurse intern could could be part of my labor or whatever.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm like, sure, whatever, just add another person just looking
- 6:23Speaker 1: at me, spread eagle out here, sticking their hands up
- 6:25Speaker 1: in me. Just she didn't do any of that stuff,
- 6:28Speaker 1: but she was just like a part of it, like
- 6:30Speaker 1: watching and stuff like that. She was in the corner
- 6:33Speaker 1: during the epidural and she fainted or whatever and hit
- 6:37Speaker 1: the floor and then came to and everything. It was
- 6:40Speaker 1: like a whole ordeal. And I'm like bent over trying
- 6:42Speaker 1: to get this epidil like working, breathing through some contractions,
- 6:45Speaker 1: trying to stay still while this guy's got this giant
- 6:47Speaker 1: needle back. He's explaining everything he's doing to me. Jesus
- 6:50Speaker 1: Christ anyway, so he got it to work, thank god.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So I really thought about naming the baby after him
- 6:56Speaker 1: because he was like he saved me, because I would
- 6:58Speaker 1: not have made it fourteen hours like that. It was
- 7:01Speaker 1: another like eight hours after that until the baby actually
- 7:03Speaker 1: came out. All right. The other three are in quiet
- 7:07Speaker 1: time right now, but the baby just woke up. So
- 7:09Speaker 1: Stu's feeding the baby, and so you might hear some
- 7:13Speaker 1: baby noises just for a minute while he's eating and
- 7:17Speaker 1: be happy. Jinks don't even start with me. I've zero
- 7:22Speaker 1: patients for the cats right now, Like all my patience
- 7:24Speaker 1: has gone, has been used up on the humans, and
- 7:27Speaker 1: here comes Jinks meowing in here. Anyway, So yeah, we
- 7:31Speaker 1: go through the full birth story and everything that on
- 7:33Speaker 1: the Patreon If you want to check that out, you can,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but that's the general thing. But anyways, the epidural worked beautifully,
- 7:40Speaker 1: like it was perfect. I was even able to like
- 7:42Speaker 1: get up and walk afterwards, pretty soon after so anyways,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and then he wasn't even that big. He was like
- 7:49Speaker 1: eight pounds seven ounces, which was what he was meant
- 7:52Speaker 1: estimated to be eight pounds five ounces thirty seven week point,
- 7:54Speaker 1: which I don't know why I let these things get
- 7:56Speaker 1: to me because this is my fourth baby, and every
- 7:58Speaker 1: time they tell me I'm having the world's biggest baby
- 8:01Speaker 1: and it never happened. So anyway, so he was normal.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I mean, of course he's bigger, but he was small
- 8:07Speaker 1: for like always joking like he was just a little guy,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and everybody's like, no, it's a big baby. I'm like, no,
- 8:12Speaker 1: he's a little guy.
- 8:13Speaker 2: All right.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna turn Stew's microphone off real quick because the
- 8:18Speaker 1: baby's really loud eating his bottle or whatever anyway, So
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't think that's gonna mess up anything. I don't know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: we'll see, might have to go back anyway. So that's
- 8:28Speaker 1: what's happened. Everything came out turned out fine. He's pretty
- 8:33Speaker 1: easy going baby, thank god, because it's been a week
- 8:36Speaker 1: I've had. We meant to record this earlier this week,
- 8:40Speaker 1: but I had blood pressure issues and then I had
- 8:42Speaker 1: to start medication, and the medication made me like messed
- 8:46Speaker 1: me up, and so I'm just now feeling a little
- 8:48Speaker 1: bit better today. And then we threw in family Easter
- 8:52Speaker 1: photos on top of it yesterday, and I give the
- 8:55Speaker 1: kids three haircuts as well before that starting, so you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: it just pile on. It's fine, it's everything's fine. So
- 9:01Speaker 1: today is like a calmer day and everything. We don't
- 9:04Speaker 1: have anything going on and we're just gonna chill. So anyways,
- 9:10Speaker 1: So yeah, Patreon dot com, we do the Shoot the
- 9:12Speaker 1: Pooh each week, check out TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, I do
- 9:17Speaker 1: doc you true crime recommendations, and then I also share
- 9:20Speaker 1: like little things like what we're having for dinner or
- 9:23Speaker 1: grocery halls just whatever I feel like. Books, like, I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: currently reading Dear Debbie on my Kindle Unlimited by Freedo McFadden,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and I just finished listening to My Husband's Wife on
- 9:35Speaker 1: by Alice Feeney. Both of them are really good. The
- 9:38Speaker 1: one was like the audiobook. I highly recommend the audiobook.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It was really good. Anyways, and then we have bias
- 9:44Speaker 1: a coffee, which we really appreciate. Everybody's bought us a coffee, Shonda, everybody,
- 9:48Speaker 1: because it's definitely needed. And we're gonna pause just for
- 9:51Speaker 1: a second because nobody wants to hear a crying baby,
- 9:56Speaker 1: all right, So that's everything, Oh, rate review, subscribe five star.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I mean, I just had a baby. You guys have
- 10:01Speaker 1: to be nice to me. You know, yes, you're not,
- 10:08Speaker 1: all right? So anyways, let's go ahead and get into
- 10:11Speaker 1: our case out of Texas this week. Again, I wrote
- 10:14Speaker 1: this several weeks ago before whenever we had planned to
- 10:19Speaker 1: get the one done the week I was supposed to
- 10:20Speaker 1: be induced. But again, it was just like I was
- 10:23Speaker 1: in a lot of pain. I was very tired, and
- 10:25Speaker 1: come to find out, this baby was not I was
- 10:28Speaker 1: had anxiety that I was going to go into labor
- 10:30Speaker 1: at any moment, and then come to find out it wasn't.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I had a feeling something had changed because his movements.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I could still feel him move like I was getting
- 10:37Speaker 1: the kick counts, but it was like different. It felt different,
- 10:40Speaker 1: And now I realize now it's because he had flipped
- 10:42Speaker 1: over and he was kicking me with his instead of
- 10:44Speaker 1: like hit me with his but in the back and
- 10:48Speaker 1: stuff on the front, he was now kicking me with
- 10:50Speaker 1: his legs and his hands, and so it was like
- 10:54Speaker 1: it was movement, but it was different movement. If you've
- 10:57Speaker 1: ever been pregnant. Stu's shaking, says. ST's microphone is still
- 11:02Speaker 1: off because the baby's making lots of noise. So anyway,
- 11:05Speaker 1: so it was like different movement if you've ever been pregnant,
- 11:07Speaker 1: It's like it was a different feeling, but it was
- 11:09Speaker 1: still he was still moving in there. Anyways. Okay, that's
- 11:13Speaker 1: enough about that, and we'll go ahead and get into
- 11:16Speaker 1: our case out of Texas.
- 11:17Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:18Speaker 1: It has been three business days since we recorded that intro.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's been a rough go, guys, it's been a rough go.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I had some I got I don't know if I
- 11:28Speaker 1: mentioned it at the beginning, but I developed high blood
- 11:31Speaker 1: pressure about a week after had the baby, and so
- 11:34Speaker 1: they put me on medication and it like knocked me out,
- 11:37Speaker 1: like basically all weekend it was. And I'm still like today,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm having a rough time with it. I don't know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: it's seemed like I was better the last two days anyways,
- 11:45Speaker 1: makes me feel like jittery and everything like that. So
- 11:49Speaker 1: but we're back. We're gonna finish this up.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I'll play. All the children cooperate.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yes, they're all in quiet time. It's the middle of
- 11:54Speaker 1: the day. Hopefully the baby stays asleep for the next
- 11:57Speaker 1: thirty minutes for us to this episode out. We can
- 12:01Speaker 1: do it.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We can do it, all right.
- 12:03Speaker 1: So Ernie Ibarra Junior was born December twenty fifth, nineteen
- 12:06Speaker 1: eighty five in Texas, so he's a Christmas baby. His
- 12:10Speaker 1: parents would divorce, but he would continue to have a
- 12:12Speaker 1: relationship with both his mother and his father, now living
- 12:15Speaker 1: in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was a very good student
- 12:18Speaker 1: in high school, you know, just very smart. He was
- 12:21Speaker 1: very good with technology. He had intentions of going to college,
- 12:24Speaker 1: but after taking a few courses, he ended up working
- 12:26Speaker 1: at a local baseball and softball business in town. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't think he was doing anything sport related. I think
- 12:32Speaker 1: he was doing something on the technology end for the
- 12:36Speaker 1: he was using his skill set in the baseball and software.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I could have ran across the Spello him and old Samantha.
- 12:44Speaker 2: We were doing work up there back in two thousand
- 12:48Speaker 2: and one. Two thousand and two had an ice storm
- 12:51Speaker 2: and we had to put all the cable back up.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Okay, that's a lovely story.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I'm just saying I've been there at Mount Pleasant Tech.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I've been to Mount Pleasant, Texas too, so I played
- 12:59Speaker 1: softball there. So yeah, so I might have actually came
- 13:02Speaker 1: across him in this smart at this Yeah, yes, why
- 13:05Speaker 1: I went to this, actually went there. I met him anyways.
- 13:08Speaker 1: In twenty eight, at twenty two years old, he is
- 13:11Speaker 1: chatting online and meets nineteen year old Samantha Wolford. Now
- 13:15Speaker 1: Samantha is a single mom of an eighteen month of
- 13:17Speaker 1: eighteen month old twins. So this is a lot for
- 13:20Speaker 1: old Samantha. That's yes, yes, and she's only nineteen years old.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So she is very active on social media, like it's
- 13:30Speaker 1: just she's always sharing stuff. She's got all the post.
- 13:33Speaker 1: This is two thousand and eight. This is like when
- 13:34Speaker 1: Facebook was really.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Big and people are over sharing.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yes, everything, because every time one of my memories pops
- 13:40Speaker 1: up from Facebook from like all those years ago, it's like,
- 13:42Speaker 1: oh my god. And it used to say, because they
- 13:44Speaker 1: used to say you used to fill it in. It
- 13:46Speaker 1: would say like Kara is feeling, and you'd put like
- 13:49Speaker 1: feeling and then you'd finish the sentence like it prompted
- 13:52Speaker 1: you of like an activity or feeling or something like that.
- 13:55Speaker 1: And so it's really it's really terrible when you see
- 13:59Speaker 1: but you don't, I know, apparently you deleteers that are embarrassing.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You said, did you deletchers stupid ones? Oh?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you have a lot of stupids or something like that.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Anyways, she's very active on social media, always posting everything
- 14:16Speaker 1: like that, so she naturally it would she would meet
- 14:20Speaker 1: somebody like he went by Ernie Ernie because he Why
- 14:25Speaker 1: did I say he goes by Ernie? His name's his
- 14:28Speaker 1: name is Ernie? Uh No, he had there was something
- 14:34Speaker 1: else with the nickname. Anyways, Okay, no, he's a junior
- 14:39Speaker 1: or whatever. So anyway, so Ernie and he goes and
- 14:44Speaker 1: where was I at? Jesus Christ? They meet up, their messaging,
- 14:48Speaker 1: they're chatting, posting online. Samantha's real active Ernie was smitten
- 14:53Speaker 1: with Samantha right from the start. Sam was working as
- 14:57Speaker 1: a tattoo artist, and so after chatting online with Ernie,
- 15:01Speaker 1: she goes ahead, she sets up to meet him, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: he goes and meets her at her work and from
- 15:05Speaker 1: then on they are inseparable. And it's funny because she
- 15:08Speaker 1: even posted that online. She shares She's like, yeah, I'm
- 15:12Speaker 1: going to meet this I'm gonna meet this guy. Hopefully
- 15:14Speaker 1: doesn't like kill me or something like that, you know,
- 15:16Speaker 1: because I meet this guy, which is ironic you'll find
- 15:21Speaker 1: out here coming up. Anyway, So they're inseparable. Sam records
- 15:26Speaker 1: a lot of their lives together, going places, doing different things,
- 15:29Speaker 1: getting tattoos. Like I said, she is constantly online.
- 15:33Speaker 2: She's the original content cred.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Yes, she's the og content creator. Soon after meeting Ernie Ernie,
- 15:39Speaker 1: Sam and Sam and Ernie move in together, and Ernie
- 15:43Speaker 1: seems to really be embracing being the stepfather to the
- 15:47Speaker 1: two young children. He really seems to enjoy it. Everything
- 15:50Speaker 1: seems to be going really well for the couple. Now
- 15:53Speaker 1: in twenty eleven, their relationships. Their relationship becomes even more
- 15:56Speaker 1: serious when Sam became pregnant with twins. And gave birth
- 15:59Speaker 1: to a little book girl. So she just is like
- 16:02Speaker 1: she's a twin machine machine, because that's crazy to have
- 16:06Speaker 1: one set of twins, but to have two, it's just
- 16:08Speaker 1: in your that it's gonna happen. But I guess what
- 16:12Speaker 1: she must have. She must like hyperovulate or something like that,
- 16:15Speaker 1: because they're not identical. They're boy and girl. So she's
- 16:18Speaker 1: dropping two eggs, yes, every time. So now they've got
- 16:22Speaker 1: two sets of twins that aren't that far apart in age.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I mean, there are the two older twins or toddlers,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and then we have some newborn twins to throw into
- 16:33Speaker 1: the mix.
- 16:34Speaker 2: One newborn is enough, I can't imagine too.
- 16:36Speaker 1: At the same time, so Sam continued to be very
- 16:40Speaker 1: much interested in social media, especially YouTube, as she was
- 16:43Speaker 1: a stay at home mom, and she used as an
- 16:45Speaker 1: outlet in hopes to make some money from it someday.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So she's just like us these days, the same same thing,
- 16:51Speaker 1: different decade now. Ernie continued to work at his regular
- 16:54Speaker 1: job to make in his meat. He started working also
- 16:57Speaker 1: at a the Little Caesars in town, delivering pizzas in
- 16:59Speaker 1: the evening. So overall, Ernie seemed to be a really
- 17:02Speaker 1: good dad and very much dedicated to making money, trying
- 17:05Speaker 1: to make ends meet for his family while his wife,
- 17:07Speaker 1: or not his wife, his girlfriend stayed home with these four.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Children for your making content at the.
- 17:13Speaker 1: House, making YouTube, sharing all her thoughts on YouTube. She
- 17:16Speaker 1: would go and try to share, like what she thought
- 17:19Speaker 1: were controversial thoughts, things like that, to try to stir
- 17:22Speaker 1: up some sort of engagement, engagement. But as we'll see,
- 17:26Speaker 1: it's not working. She's not she's not the next YouTube star.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It's not working out for her.
- 17:33Speaker 2: As the year goes by, Sam continues to share her
- 17:36Speaker 2: life on the YouTube's in hopes that she can create
- 17:38Speaker 2: a following. She shares her children a lot. She talks
- 17:42Speaker 2: about Ernie. However, Ernie is not very supportive of this
- 17:47Speaker 2: YouTube channel stuff. He didn't really want to be on there.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he didn't like them her sharing their children, she
- 17:52Speaker 1: didn't like. He didn't like her talking about their relationship.
- 17:55Speaker 2: No, he didn't like just basically that their entire lives
- 17:58Speaker 2: being splayed out on the internet. Now, despite her best
- 18:00Speaker 2: efforts and constantly being on her phone to share her life,
- 18:03Speaker 2: she wasn't really building up a following. Her videos were
- 18:06Speaker 2: getting probably one hundred views each time, and she would
- 18:09Speaker 2: continue to share what she believed was controversial, like Kara said,
- 18:14Speaker 2: and make up tutorials on just lie.
- 18:17Speaker 1: No makeup, make not makeup to door, Oh, makeups do?
- 18:22Speaker 1: She's not making up to do? Oh. She was doing
- 18:25Speaker 1: makeup to toorials like she's doing and she she had
- 18:28Speaker 1: kind of like that that realed goth looking makeup to
- 18:32Speaker 1: like real dark, a lot of a lot of a
- 18:35Speaker 1: lot of makeup. So she would do those tutorials but
- 18:38Speaker 1: they still didn't do any good.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Now she was just doing any video she could to
- 18:42Speaker 2: see what would stick, and she had every intention of
- 18:45Speaker 2: becoming Internet famous. In twenty twelve, things came to a
- 18:49Speaker 2: head with Ernie and Sam, and Ernie actually moved out
- 18:52Speaker 2: of the house, but soon after they would reconnect and
- 18:55Speaker 2: Sam would become pregnant with their fifth child.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Thankfully not another set of twins, a singleton as they say, yes.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Now, this one was born in twenty thirteen. Some of
- 19:05Speaker 2: the hang ups that Ernie had about the channel was
- 19:07Speaker 2: that she shared a lot about their children, as well
- 19:09Speaker 2: as about their relationships and the problems they had. They
- 19:13Speaker 2: were a young couple with five children on a limited income,
- 19:16Speaker 2: and Sam seemed to have an addiction to sharing her
- 19:19Speaker 2: entire life online, while Ernie had a gaming addiction and
- 19:23Speaker 2: even a gaming wife that he married in the game.
- 19:27Speaker 2: So he's playing online, meet some girl online, and their
- 19:32Speaker 2: characters get married, get married online.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he had a gaming addiction. She had an addiction
- 19:38Speaker 1: to her phone and recording their lives. They have five children.
- 19:41Speaker 1: He's working at the softball store ines in Mount Pleasant, Texas,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and the Little Caesars. How they are making ends meet,
- 19:47Speaker 1: I have absolutely no clue because that is a lot
- 19:49Speaker 1: of children to care for on a limited income. However,
- 19:54Speaker 1: they're not married, so she's probably able to get assistance.
- 19:59Speaker 2: And while all this is going on, Sam's like, hey,
- 20:03Speaker 2: this will make great content.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Yes, let's just show.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So she brings up all these issues on her YouTube channel,
- 20:09Speaker 2: and Ernie evidently did not like that. She was ratting
- 20:13Speaker 2: him out for being a gaming addict with an online wife.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yes, so there was a weird like he had his
- 20:20Speaker 1: flaws and stuff that, but overall they did say he
- 20:22Speaker 1: was a good dad. He just had this gaming addiction
- 20:25Speaker 1: and had this like alternate lifestyle that he was living
- 20:29Speaker 1: through the game. So he wasn't physically cheating on her,
- 20:32Speaker 1: but he did this is this is crossing a little
- 20:34Speaker 1: bit of a lot. Know a game, this is no,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I don't know a game. Maybe the SIMS, I don't know.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I don't know if you can do that on the SIMS.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I don't know if that's the interactive player, if that's solo.
- 20:43Speaker 1: The rton, I have no idea.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I don't know. To address the gaming issue, however, it
- 20:49Speaker 2: was the gaming wife issue.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Ye.
- 20:51Speaker 2: In twenty fourteen, Ernie agreed to marry Sam. However, you're
- 20:55Speaker 2: not going to believe this. Getting married did not fix
- 20:58Speaker 2: their problems. While they had a little bit of bliss
- 21:01Speaker 2: after welcoming the new baby, things quickly went downhill, with
- 21:05Speaker 2: Sam accusing Ernie of domestic violence, and of course, what
- 21:08Speaker 2: she's gonna do with that, go put it online, Go
- 21:11Speaker 2: put it online.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yes, we don't actually know if it's true, if it's
- 21:15Speaker 1: true or not. She had some bruising on her arm,
- 21:18Speaker 1: but we don't know this content or She seemed pretty
- 21:24Speaker 1: desperate to become famous, so we don't know if this
- 21:27Speaker 1: was a legitimate domestic abuse because he had never done
- 21:30Speaker 1: anything like that prior to this. And then all of
- 21:33Speaker 1: a sudden she came up telling her friends in her
- 21:35Speaker 1: YouTube channel that he did this, so we don't know,
- 21:37Speaker 1: so we don't want to paint Ernie with this brush
- 21:40Speaker 1: if it's not true. But yeah, that's something that she
- 21:44Speaker 1: talked about.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Now.
- 21:45Speaker 1: In February twenty twenty fifteen, police were called to the
- 21:47Speaker 1: home of Sam and Ernie. Now. When police arrived on
- 21:50Speaker 1: the scene, it appeared that someone had busted in the
- 21:52Speaker 1: front door, gone upstairs, tied up Sam, and taken Ernie. Now,
- 21:56Speaker 1: they speak to Sam and she said that one of
- 21:58Speaker 1: them had a gun and two of them had box cutters,
- 22:01Speaker 1: so there was a total of three people that came
- 22:04Speaker 1: in to do this. Now. She described them as wearing
- 22:07Speaker 1: all black clothing as well as black mask and black gloves.
- 22:12Speaker 1: She said that they were larger built, like they seemed
- 22:15Speaker 1: like they were taller, but other than that, she just
- 22:17Speaker 1: didn't have much of a description of the assailants because
- 22:19Speaker 1: they're covered their dressed head to toe in black and stuff.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Police are on the hunt to find Ernie before something
- 22:25Speaker 1: happens to him. So meanwhile, Sam is brought into the
- 22:28Speaker 1: police station to continue to be interviewed, and she walks
- 22:31Speaker 1: officers through her ordeal, saying that she would She told
- 22:35Speaker 1: them that she would do whatever they wanted and wanted
- 22:38Speaker 1: her to do, and that's when they ended up pogtying her. Now,
- 22:42Speaker 1: while she is tied up, she witnesses Ernie being beaten
- 22:44Speaker 1: by the men and then they were wrapping something around
- 22:46Speaker 1: his face to the point where she was afraid that
- 22:49Speaker 1: he wasn't going to be able to breathe anymore. Investigators
- 22:52Speaker 1: asked her if she knows who might have wanted to
- 22:54Speaker 1: harm Ernie, and she goes into this complicated story about
- 22:58Speaker 1: being at the hospital. Everything with this bitch is like
- 23:02Speaker 1: a word sketchy. Yes, So anyway, so she starts telling
- 23:05Speaker 1: police about this story about she was at the hospital,
- 23:07Speaker 1: I think visiting a friend. She meets this guy named
- 23:12Speaker 1: John Rebel. She said she at the hospital. She meets
- 23:15Speaker 1: this guy named John Rebel.
- 23:17Speaker 2: So we don't even know if she actually went to
- 23:18Speaker 2: the hospital.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Well, yeah, so this is this again, this weird story
- 23:21Speaker 1: that the police are confused. Everybody's confused. So this John
- 23:25Speaker 1: Rebel guy, and he she said that she was talking
- 23:28Speaker 1: to him, and he said he would There's lots of
- 23:31Speaker 1: pieces missing here, so he said he would handle the situation.
- 23:34Speaker 1: The police said, did they did? He say he was
- 23:36Speaker 1: going to kill Ernie and she said no. So I
- 23:39Speaker 1: don't know if she overheard him, the John guy saying
- 23:42Speaker 1: this or what happened, but it was very confusing to
- 23:44Speaker 1: police at the time. In the interview, it did not
- 23:46Speaker 1: make sense. But they at least had a name of
- 23:50Speaker 1: John Rebel, which John Rebel ended up being his Facebook name.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Is what the what the name was, that's what was
- 24:00Speaker 1: Rebel was the last name or whatever.
- 24:02Speaker 2: So anyway, I'm random dude online.
- 24:04Speaker 1: His name John Rebel, Yes, okay.
- 24:09Speaker 2: But that's not his real name in real life.
- 24:11Speaker 1: No, that's not his real name in real life. So
- 24:13Speaker 1: but at this point they're just like, we need to
- 24:14Speaker 1: try to track down whatever we can because Ernie. I mean,
- 24:17Speaker 1: like the clock is ticking now that Ernie's been taken
- 24:20Speaker 1: from the home and we have.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Little to nothing about it.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, so they tracked down this John Rebel's Facebook page.
- 24:30Speaker 1: They find out that his name was actually John Sandford
- 24:33Speaker 1: and he was at the hospital, so they went there
- 24:35Speaker 1: and brought him in as well as his uh wait,
- 24:39Speaker 1: not his father in law. It was his brother in law,
- 24:43Speaker 1: jose Poncey.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Poncey or pons.
- 24:50Speaker 1: This this isn't my fault. Stewart This is a confusing story. Okay,
- 24:55Speaker 1: nothing makes sense until the end. Okay, it's all just
- 24:58Speaker 1: a lot of people, a lot of bullshit going on.
- 25:03Speaker 2: People throw it up on the wall to see what's.
- 25:05Speaker 1: What we know. What we know is that Ernie is missing.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Sam was tied up. She talked to a guy at
- 25:17Speaker 1: a hospital named John Rebel who said he was gonna
- 25:19Speaker 1: handle the situation. John Rebel is also John Samford. They
- 25:23Speaker 1: were able to confirm that John Sandford was at the hospital,
- 25:27Speaker 1: so they therefore, they go to the hospital. He's still
- 25:30Speaker 1: at the hospital, I guess visiting the friend or whatever.
- 25:33Speaker 1: They go to the hospital to get John Sandford and
- 25:36Speaker 1: while they're there, he brings in this, uh, this brother
- 25:41Speaker 1: in law, jose Ponce or whatever. Now John, and there's camera.
- 25:46Speaker 1: They have a videos of them arresting them at the
- 25:48Speaker 1: hospital and everything like that and walking them out. Now John,
- 25:51Speaker 1: he quickly folds and says that he was at the house,
- 25:53Speaker 1: but he did not hurt Ernie. He decides to cooperate
- 25:57Speaker 1: with police, and he tells him that he will take
- 25:58Speaker 1: him to where they had where they had taken Ernie. Well.
- 26:01Speaker 1: John takes them into a wooded area and investigators come
- 26:04Speaker 1: upon Ernie's body. He's lying nude and it is clear
- 26:08Speaker 1: that he is dead. An initial look at the body
- 26:11Speaker 1: showed that Ernie had died from a gunshot wound.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Now, while police are talking to John, who is now
- 26:17Speaker 2: under arrest for murder, he not only rats out his
- 26:21Speaker 2: brother in law, Jose, he also says a third person
- 26:24Speaker 2: was involved and his name was Octavius Rhymes. So investigators
- 26:29Speaker 2: continue to talk to John and Jose. They're on the
- 26:32Speaker 2: hunt for Octavius. God, I can't get that one out.
- 26:36Speaker 2: They asked John how he ended up at Ernie's house
- 26:39Speaker 2: and how he was involved with this, and he said
- 26:41Speaker 2: that he had met Samantha and they had a hangout
- 26:45Speaker 2: just the day before when she asked them to do
- 26:48Speaker 2: this to Ernie.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yes, she left that part out. She just said that
- 26:51Speaker 1: this person named John Rebel just randomly at the hospital,
- 26:54Speaker 1: said I'll take care of the situation. She left out
- 26:56Speaker 1: the part where she's the one that asked him to.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Do it, to do this, where they actually hung out,
- 27:02Speaker 2: and then she told him the whole thing about how
- 27:04Speaker 2: much she didn't like Ernie, how he was running, he probably.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Said he was abusing her, and all this stuff which
- 27:10Speaker 1: we don't believe. Nobody believes was true.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Now, John told police that he had gone to Walmart
- 27:15Speaker 2: with her and her children, and they were able to
- 27:18Speaker 2: pull security camera footage showing that he was in fact
- 27:20Speaker 2: telling the truth. With this additional information, they bring Sam
- 27:24Speaker 2: back into question to her, but she denies any involvement,
- 27:28Speaker 2: even though.
- 27:28Speaker 1: It's clearly on camera. I think there's camera of her
- 27:31Speaker 1: with all three of them, like it's with her children
- 27:34Speaker 1: at Walmart. She's acting like she didn't have anything to
- 27:36Speaker 1: do with any of this.
- 27:38Speaker 2: While police are questioning Sam, they are able to finally
- 27:42Speaker 2: track down Octavias and arrest him. He quickly tells police
- 27:45Speaker 2: that Sam told them she had been looking for someone
- 27:48Speaker 2: to beat up Ernie for years, and he said when
- 27:51Speaker 2: she was saying that she meant someone to kill Ernie.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Octavius walked investigators through the events of that evening. They
- 27:58Speaker 2: had met Sam at the hospital early that day, then
- 28:01Speaker 2: spent the afternoon with her, and this is when they
- 28:03Speaker 2: agreed to take out Ernie for her.
- 28:05Speaker 1: They literally just met this girl at the hospital. She's
- 28:08Speaker 1: not even that good looking. I mean, let's not that
- 28:12Speaker 1: that matters, But I'm just saying, like, it's not like
- 28:14Speaker 1: she was like, oh, yeah, you know, uh yeah, she
- 28:19Speaker 1: just came and asked me to do this, and I'm
- 28:20Speaker 1: so smitten. What first, It's like, no, what is wrong
- 28:25Speaker 1: with you guys?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Us? What's wrong with y'all?
- 28:29Speaker 1: No, I'm talking about those guys, all those three.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yes, I thought you meant you were asking me what's
- 28:35Speaker 2: wrong with us guys?
- 28:36Speaker 1: What's wrong with men in general? Yeah, that's another good question.
- 28:39Speaker 2: They said. They arrived at the home and Samantha had
- 28:42Speaker 2: unlocked the door already, so they were able to just
- 28:45Speaker 2: walk right inside. They went up to the bedroom and
- 28:47Speaker 2: they began beating Ernie. Then removed him from the home
- 28:51Speaker 2: and took him out to the woods and they shot him.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Octavia said that Jose was the one that pulled the trigger. Octavius, Oh,
- 28:58Speaker 2: not Octavia.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Octavius auto, I said, Octavia, Yeah, but it auto corrected
- 29:03Speaker 1: to Octavia.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought, I said, Octavius, Maybe you did. I Well. Anyway,
- 29:09Speaker 2: he claims that he did not know they were going
- 29:11Speaker 2: to shoot him, and that he thought that they were
- 29:14Speaker 2: just going to beat him up. And then after all
- 29:17Speaker 2: this went down in the woods, that's when they went
- 29:19Speaker 2: back to the house. They tied sam up, so the
- 29:22Speaker 2: police would find her tied up the house.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Yes, for this whole entire story. This was I thought
- 29:29Speaker 1: whenever I first saw this story, I thought she was
- 29:31Speaker 1: gonna do something with him, like do it online, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 1: like you see people like coax kill people and someone online,
- 29:37Speaker 1: so she could finally shoot up her internet fame.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Oh oh, you thought she was going to like videotape
- 29:44Speaker 2: herself shooting him.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Yes, there's something crazy like that. Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because there was that one girl that she
- 29:50Speaker 2: convinced the guy to kill himself.
- 29:54Speaker 1: That was Yeah, that was the I love you now
- 29:56Speaker 1: die girl.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I don't I remember hearing them, but I don't remember
- 30:00Speaker 2: much about it.
- 30:01Speaker 1: She didn't do it online, though, I'm saying, there's people
- 30:03Speaker 1: that have killed people, and I thought she was going
- 30:04Speaker 1: to do it on her YouTube channel so she could
- 30:06Speaker 1: finally be famous, because she wanted it so bad. Now
- 30:09Speaker 1: she's on a show, but like for a different reason.
- 30:11Speaker 1: So she finally made it to she finally made it
- 30:14Speaker 1: to TV. So now with multiple people saying that she
- 30:17Speaker 1: was behind this attack and the murder of Ernie, Sam
- 30:20Speaker 1: was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and murder. So
- 30:23Speaker 1: she was charged with the same things as the guys,
- 30:26Speaker 1: which this is good. Now. Sam was found guilty on
- 30:29Speaker 1: both charges and was sentenced to fifty years for kidnapping
- 30:31Speaker 1: in an additional ninety nine years for the murder. Now
- 30:34Speaker 1: Octavius was charged with the same and found guilty as well.
- 30:37Speaker 1: He was sentenced to twenty three years for kidnapping and
- 30:40Speaker 1: seventy five years for the murder. Now, John and Jose
- 30:43Speaker 1: both pled guilty to murder, and therefore their sentencing was
- 30:46Speaker 1: only fifty years. So they just were like, I gotta
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'll just take the hit on this one.
- 30:51Speaker 2: No, yeah, we might get out one day, we live
- 30:55Speaker 2: long enough to die.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Yeah, because they were young people. These were like people
- 30:59Speaker 1: that were in their early twenties or whatever.
- 31:02Speaker 2: But so they might get out at seventy five eighty
- 31:03Speaker 2: years old and yeah, go croak off in the nursing.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Harbor to get some sort of compassionate release or something
- 31:08Speaker 1: like that. But it is Texas, so I don't.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Know, depends on the county.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I guess compassionate. So in the state it was California,
- 31:18Speaker 1: they'd get out, you guys, get out there.
- 31:20Speaker 2: They almost let us that sex offender that it was
- 31:22Speaker 2: supposed to be locked up for another fifty years or right.
- 31:24Speaker 2: He was supposed to.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Have a life sentence and they were going to let
- 31:27Speaker 1: him out. They we're gonna let him out, but I
- 31:29Speaker 1: don't want anything.
- 31:30Speaker 2: They got him on another they got him on another thing,
- 31:32Speaker 2: and so they're going to keep him in there. I'm
- 31:33Speaker 2: not sure if he's going to fight that one though.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I'd have to look that up and let you know
- 31:37Speaker 2: if you haven't heard about it. Okay, all are adoring
- 31:40Speaker 2: tens of listeners.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's our case for this week. We were
- 31:45Speaker 1: we've been struggling to get I wrote this one like
- 31:48Speaker 1: before I had the baby, were we had intentions of
- 31:51Speaker 1: getting out and then like it just was a lot
- 31:53Speaker 1: going on.
- 31:54Speaker 2: We were going to do it on the Wednesday before, Yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 2: Well we're going to record it to be released on Wednesday.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Before, yeah, and then kind of take a break. But
- 32:02Speaker 1: it just didn't It didn't work out, and so we've
- 32:04Speaker 1: been trying to record this one. We literally recorded the
- 32:07Speaker 1: intro on Sunday, and then it's been we were gonna
- 32:09Speaker 1: do it last night, and we're gonna do it the
- 32:11Speaker 1: night before, and it's just been we have to have
- 32:13Speaker 1: four children now, cooperaate yes, and then also me not
- 32:18Speaker 1: be tired because I normally take it. So what happens
- 32:21Speaker 1: is at night time, I'm okay. I know this is
- 32:23Speaker 1: like controversial because people are like, the husband should be
- 32:26Speaker 1: getting up all night with you and the baby and
- 32:28Speaker 1: stuff with that. I personally, I have I pump, So
- 32:31Speaker 1: I've pumped with all the children, all of them for
- 32:35Speaker 1: a year whatever. So you have to pump in the
- 32:36Speaker 1: middle of the night or whatever, or if you like breastfeed,
- 32:39Speaker 1: you have to you know, feed the baby or whatever.
- 32:40Speaker 1: So I pump and everything that. So what happens is
- 32:43Speaker 1: I go to bed, and then I take the night shift,
- 32:47Speaker 1: and then anything after six am. This is how it's
- 32:49Speaker 1: always been. Stu is responsible for anything after six am
- 32:53Speaker 1: so that I can sleep. So the baby's been doing
- 32:56Speaker 1: really well, although he had a rough night like two
- 32:59Speaker 1: nights ago, but he last night he did really good.
- 33:02Speaker 1: So he went to bed at like midnight or so
- 33:06Speaker 1: last night for his final one or whatever, and then
- 33:09Speaker 1: he slept till four thirty, and then I got up
- 33:12Speaker 1: with him at four thirty. I fed him, I pumped,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and I know when he's been asleep for more than
- 33:17Speaker 1: like two hours or something, because I wake up, and
- 33:19Speaker 1: I'm almost like refreshed, like it's like, oh this, and
- 33:22Speaker 1: then I put him to bed. And then at that
- 33:23Speaker 1: point I'm basically if he wait, when he wakes up
- 33:25Speaker 1: at his four thirty, I'm done. Like that's the only
- 33:27Speaker 1: one I do. Because when he wakes up at he
- 33:30Speaker 1: at that point six and seven he had So this
- 33:34Speaker 1: morning he woke up at seven thirty. Yeah, he made
- 33:38Speaker 1: all the way to seven thirty. So whenever he does that,
- 33:39Speaker 1: he's next to me on my side of the bed.
- 33:42Speaker 1: So I just taps to him like he's up, and
- 33:44Speaker 1: so he I have the bottle and everything ready for
- 33:46Speaker 1: him to go, and so he takes it. If it
- 33:47Speaker 1: wasn't for me having to get up and pump, I
- 33:49Speaker 1: could sleep for quite some time if in the morning,
- 33:53Speaker 1: like because anything after six like this is Stu's Stu's
- 33:57Speaker 1: in charge of all this. So this morning I slept
- 33:59Speaker 1: from so I went back to bed. By the time
- 34:01Speaker 1: I pumped everything, it was like five point fifteen. And
- 34:03Speaker 1: then and then once he gets older, it's easier. Once
- 34:06Speaker 1: once he gets older, I do get to drop the
- 34:08Speaker 1: night time pumps. I make a lot of milk. This
- 34:10Speaker 1: might be TMI if you don't want to hear his
- 34:13Speaker 1: I make a lot of it. I make a lot
- 34:15Speaker 1: of milk, so I don't I can drop pumps, but
- 34:18Speaker 1: it's usually the first three months you do have to
- 34:20Speaker 1: pump in the night and everything like that. And then
- 34:24Speaker 1: and then after that he'll be able to sit. He
- 34:27Speaker 1: can sit up in the in the I usually put
- 34:30Speaker 1: him in the boppy, so while I'm pumping, I'm feeding him,
- 34:32Speaker 1: so then I can knock out both things at one time.
- 34:34Speaker 1: But right now I have to feed him and then pump.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I went to bed at five fifteen and then I
- 34:38Speaker 1: got up close to nine today, But it's because I
- 34:41Speaker 1: have to pump. Otherwise I just like stay in bed.
- 34:43Speaker 1: But but yeah, so that's how we do it because
- 34:46Speaker 1: I need him. I need stew to be well rested.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I need one of us needs to be well rested
- 34:52Speaker 1: to take care of all the other children and to
- 34:54Speaker 1: take care of the baby during the day. And then
- 34:55Speaker 1: I usually go take a nap, Like after we finish
- 34:58Speaker 1: recording this, I'll go take a nap for like an
- 34:59Speaker 1: hour or two this afternoon. So that's how we make
- 35:03Speaker 1: it work. I don't see any point in waking Stew up,
- 35:07Speaker 1: and I'll just get agitated by him. Anyways, at that point,
- 35:10Speaker 1: I'll just get pistol.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm supposed to telepathically know what you want. It's like,
- 35:15Speaker 2: why aren't you doing this? I'm like, I don't know.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I didn't know you wanted me to do that.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so I would just get angry at Stew. He
- 35:21Speaker 1: would just mess up my whole like Vie slate.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Then I'd be angry anyway, So tell you what an
- 35:28Speaker 2: ass you are. I mean, anybody that's listening to us,
- 35:30Speaker 2: that's their own fault. I'm trapped here in the closet
- 35:33Speaker 2: because you were physically blocking the door from.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Me getting out to What are you talking about?
- 35:37Speaker 2: Anybody that's still listening?
- 35:38Speaker 1: Oh whatever? Anyways, Oh whatever, Stew, it's not Gibbers. What
- 35:44Speaker 1: is wrong with you? I'm shut up. You're getting on
- 35:47Speaker 1: my nerves. Okay.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I was just trying to let people know what I
- 35:51Speaker 2: deal with.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Would you don't deal with anything? Anyways, I'm getting annoyed
- 35:57Speaker 1: by you right now, So I need to go take
- 36:00Speaker 1: my nap and forget Stew for a minute. So anyway,
- 36:04Speaker 1: so that's how it works. So I am pretty well rested,
- 36:06Speaker 1: but I do have to take a nap in the afternoons.
- 36:08Speaker 1: That's I get real tired around. Plus I'm on this medication.
- 36:11Speaker 1: It's really like today, I'm real jittery today, Like my
- 36:13Speaker 1: hands are like when I was like pouring the bottles
- 36:15Speaker 1: and stuff. I'm like all shaky anyway. So anyway, so
- 36:18Speaker 1: that's our case for this week. STUW do you have
- 36:20Speaker 1: a y'all need jesus?
- 36:20Speaker 2: I do? Okay. This one comes to us from a
- 36:25Speaker 2: while back. Kara crash of airline Asiana. They sue KTVU
- 36:32Speaker 2: for bogus pilot names coming to us from.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Oh Is that the one where they did the BBC?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Coming to us from the BBC on fifteen July twenty thirteen,
- 36:44Speaker 2: the airline at the center of a San Francisco plane
- 36:47Speaker 2: crash that killed three people, says it will sue a
- 36:49Speaker 2: broadcaster for mistakenly airing fake pilot names. Asiana Airline says
- 36:55Speaker 2: KTVU damage the airline's reputation with the race discriminatory report
- 37:01Speaker 2: against Asian Anna and will file a lawsuit in the US.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I would think that the damaged reputation would come from
- 37:09Speaker 2: the plane crash. Mainly, I can't look.
- 37:12Speaker 1: At you because you've you shaved your mustache crooked in it.
- 37:17Speaker 2: It's not crooked. I ain't shaved it. Sometimes you what
- 37:22Speaker 2: are you talking about? Maybe my head's just turned. You're
- 37:28Speaker 2: just noticing this after being in here.
- 37:31Speaker 1: So it's like I can see more of your teeth
- 37:34Speaker 1: on this side than I can.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Okay, are you done?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 37:50Speaker 2: Yes, go on. I don't know if I can stop.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Looking at you.
- 37:57Speaker 2: The bogus names were erroneously confirmed by a National Transportation
- 38:01Speaker 2: Safety Board INTERN but the early yes, they landed all
- 38:06Speaker 2: on the intern. The airline says it will not sue
- 38:09Speaker 2: the NTSB. Of course they won't. They don't want to
- 38:12Speaker 2: be in that kettle of fish. We decided to sue
- 38:16Speaker 2: k TVU because Asian Airlines thinks their news defames our
- 38:20Speaker 2: pilots and our company's reputation, Kiwan Sue, and Asana spokesman
- 38:25Speaker 2: said on Monday. A presenter on the Fox affiliate in Oakland, California,
- 38:31Speaker 2: read the fake names on air on Friday. It's like
- 38:34Speaker 2: something right out of The Simpsons or Howard Stern Show
- 38:38Speaker 2: or something. The broadcast featured an on screen graphic showing
- 38:42Speaker 2: the names and photo of Flight two fourteen's wreckage on
- 38:46Speaker 2: the runway. Apparently meant to be humorous. The fake Asian
- 38:49Speaker 2: sounding names, which included Someting Wong bing ding Ao, resembled
- 38:55Speaker 2: phrases in English which read out phonetically, so it was
- 39:00Speaker 2: sum tyes.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I think you did this. You'll need Jesus a long
- 39:03Speaker 1: time ago. Yes, and you did the spellings. Yes, you
- 39:08Speaker 1: did the name how they said these names, And I
- 39:11Speaker 1: feel like you did this one.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I remember I had it pulled up. I don't remember
- 39:15Speaker 2: if I did it. The presenter apologized for their after
- 39:19Speaker 2: a commercial break, but video of the report had already
- 39:22Speaker 2: begun to spread across the internet. It is not clear
- 39:24Speaker 2: how the gaff originated, but the NTSB said one of
- 39:28Speaker 2: its interns mistakenly confirmed the names and good faith when
- 39:32Speaker 2: contacted by someone at KTVU. It appears that the TV
- 39:35Speaker 2: station was somehow hoaxed. The agency says it does not
- 39:39Speaker 2: release the name of pilots or crew members involved in
- 39:41Speaker 2: the transportation accidents. However, the airline had already released the
- 39:45Speaker 2: names of the two pilots days before the KTVU report
- 39:49Speaker 2: in response and inquiry from the media outlet. A summer
- 39:51Speaker 2: intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he
- 39:55Speaker 2: erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft,
- 39:59Speaker 2: said it would take appropriate actions to prevent a reoccurrence.
- 40:05Speaker 2: An unnamed official told CNN that the intern in question
- 40:09Speaker 2: was no longer employed.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Well, the intern probably only had a three month internship.
- 40:14Speaker 1: They act like it, probably like, oh, we fired him.
- 40:15Speaker 1: It's like, no, his internship just ended, that's all. He
- 40:19Speaker 1: normally just ran and got coffee.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Just yes. And the ruders ter reiters, squeeze me. They yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 2: There was a crash of a Boeing Triple seven plane
- 40:35Speaker 2: that resulted in the desks of three teenage girls and
- 40:37Speaker 2: a group of students from eastern China who were visiting
- 40:40Speaker 2: the US for a summer camp, and one of them
- 40:44Speaker 2: died on Friday in the hospital. Over one hundred and
- 40:46Speaker 2: eighty passengers and crew members CARA were hurt. Now the
- 40:51Speaker 2: prank names we said something wong, we too low, holy
- 40:55Speaker 2: fuck and bang ding owl O.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I know I shouldn't be left.
- 41:03Speaker 2: This is what they reported on the TV station. Well,
- 41:09Speaker 2: I don't know why. Somebody, the intern at the TV
- 41:11Speaker 2: station didn't catch it either.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I think then knew what was going on. The interns
- 41:15Speaker 1: are young.
- 41:15Speaker 2: The intern NTSB's like I ain't getting paid for this
- 41:18Speaker 2: gig at these people.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I probably thought he'd be funny, and.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I mean my internship, the summer internship is up. Yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 2: let me let me approve these names?
- 41:29Speaker 1: All right? Is that it we've been we've been going
- 41:31Speaker 1: on with this one. Have we done before we get
- 41:34Speaker 1: ourselves in trouble?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Nobody?
- 41:38Speaker 1: Okay? All right, Well that is our episode for this week.
- 41:41Speaker 1: We will try to be back next week. We can't
- 41:44Speaker 1: make any promises. That's you know, it's rich coming from
- 41:49Speaker 1: someone who's got a crooked mustache too, what the story? Yes, anyway,
- 41:55Speaker 1: my mustache is not crooked. It is crooked.
- 41:58Speaker 2: All right?
- 41:59Speaker 1: Do you have anything else to say besides your mustache
- 42:01Speaker 1: isn't crooked? Okay, nothing, So let's go ahead and in this. Now,
- 42:06Speaker 1: let's put this. Let's put everybody out.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Of their misery. I do say it. Then we will
- 42:11Speaker 2: end in divorce, I'm sure.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Anyways, we will try to. We will. We will probably
- 42:15Speaker 1: get to shoot the pooh out because I want to
- 42:17Speaker 1: talk about that that the ninety two year old lady
- 42:20Speaker 1: with the dead bodies that she had over for tea.
- 42:24Speaker 1: So we'll probably do that on Friday. Hopefully it all
- 42:27Speaker 1: just depends if someone's not feeling well, if someone's not
- 42:31Speaker 1: if someone's not cooperating. You just never know why you're
- 42:34Speaker 1: looking at me when you say I'm not anyways. All right,
- 42:38Speaker 1: that is it. I guess we will see you next time.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Bye everyone, Say bye Stu, bye Stuve.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Tell you know it's bad to be SUPERSTI shot love.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Nothing else is working. Oh this weary bout by Campag
