- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hello everyone, welcome to the Almost in Its podcast. It
- 0:09Speaker 2: is just me today, and it's it's not because Ben's
- 0:14Speaker 2: on here. It's because he thought that it would be
- 0:16Speaker 2: fun that we just had some girl talk. So I'm
- 0:19Speaker 2: with Gabby Windley and Rachel Rekya, who are basically like
- 0:24Speaker 2: a couple. You guys are really like you came.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Out as a couple of Bachelor Nation.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We'd be so devastated if you guys were to ever
- 0:32Speaker 2: break up.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Never you would like to announce her no longer friends.
- 0:39Speaker 2: After lots of consideration. It's heartbreaking for us to announce
- 0:44Speaker 2: that we just you know, we.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Wish each other the best, but stay away from me.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Well that's great that that is not going to happen ever,
- 0:54Speaker 2: But I gotta talk about your exes, Like, let's just
- 0:56Speaker 2: jump into X talk, right please, because both of you
- 1:00Speaker 2: did not stay with your fiances very long.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Guilty.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Let's get into like just the conversations that you guys
- 1:11Speaker 2: would have getting off the show. Did you guys internally
- 1:14Speaker 2: feel insecure that like, the other one had a stronger
- 1:17Speaker 2: relationship than the other one. Was there any like thought
- 1:21Speaker 2: in your head, you're like, oh, man, I'm going to
- 1:22Speaker 2: be the loser of this because we're not going to last.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And like secretly it was kind of happening at the
- 1:27Speaker 2: same time with both of you.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Do you understand my question?
- 1:29Speaker 4: I do. Yeah, I feel like it wasn't really a
- 1:32Speaker 4: secret because I was telling her immediately. I don't think
- 1:35Speaker 4: it was a secret. Me and Tino had a lot
- 1:37Speaker 4: of issues, like at the beginning we were fighting, and
- 1:39Speaker 4: even she knew all.
- 1:40Speaker 3: That or the whole like cheating stuff.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 4: I mean, I guess what he has said is that
- 1:47Speaker 4: like that really is what led into it, which I
- 1:49Speaker 4: am at fault for like some of that fighting and like, yeah,
- 1:51Speaker 4: but you guys weren't connecting. Yeah, we were not connecting.
- 1:54Speaker 4: So I feel like Gabby always knew that me and
- 1:56Speaker 4: him right off the bat, it was really difficult for us.
- 1:59Speaker 4: So I always thought, you we had like a really
- 2:00Speaker 4: strong connection with.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I think same, Like we expressed our doubts with
- 2:05Speaker 5: each other.
- 2:06Speaker 3: So yeah, there was no I don't there was.
- 2:10Speaker 5: She was the only other person at the time who
- 2:12Speaker 5: had gone through the exact same thing. I cannot imagine
- 2:16Speaker 5: how people do it alone.
- 2:17Speaker 3: There's so much question. There is so much doubt.
- 2:21Speaker 5: It's like this weird world afterwards where you think you
- 2:24Speaker 5: know the person and you think you don't. You're like,
- 2:26Speaker 5: what's normal? What do I do for four days alone
- 2:28Speaker 5: in a B and B?
- 2:30Speaker 4: Like I think stream?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys, ever.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Say with a happy couple of weekends that you wanted
- 2:36Speaker 2: to join forces and just be in the same house together.
- 2:38Speaker 4: We did one time. Yeah, we well we weren't supposed to,
- 2:42Speaker 4: but one time we did. We had like a sneakover.
- 2:44Speaker 4: We snuck them over and we all four hung out.
- 2:47Speaker 4: That night was fun. That night was fun because we're
- 2:49Speaker 4: all together, right, Yeah, more distraction.
- 2:53Speaker 2: So did you both just not feel like you knew
- 2:56Speaker 2: both guys coming off the show? And why do you
- 2:58Speaker 2: feel like you I think there was a reason that
- 3:01Speaker 2: the two of you felt like you didn't know your partner.
- 3:05Speaker 3: To that point where.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Like a lot of other people leave the show, like
- 3:08Speaker 2: you were just talking about with Zach and Katie just
- 3:10Speaker 2: feeling that they knew each other so deeply.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Well, I mean it was so different just in timing.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Why, Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Because a normal season you would do two one on
- 3:19Speaker 4: ones and then a group date every week, and we
- 3:22Speaker 4: didn't even start like getting to know the guys until
- 3:25Speaker 4: week three until we split up with our group and
- 3:29Speaker 4: then we were getting one less one on one a week.
- 3:31Speaker 4: So I feel like we just kind of missed out
- 3:32Speaker 4: on time, and in that way, it kind of flawed
- 3:34Speaker 4: a lot of at least decision making, and like I
- 3:37Speaker 4: feel like I was going really off of a motion
- 3:40Speaker 4: more than like being able to spend time and seeing compatibility.
- 3:43Speaker 4: If that makes sense.
- 3:45Speaker 3: No, I agree, I have a couple of things. I think.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Yeah, it is hard not to confuse like chemistry with connection,
- 3:53Speaker 5: and I think both of us could probably have chemistry
- 3:56Speaker 5: with like a cardboard box. So that was hard to
- 4:00Speaker 5: like suss out like what is fun and what is
- 4:03Speaker 5: the process and what is like being on a crazy
- 4:07Speaker 5: day in France versus actually connecting, like what you were saying. Also,
- 4:12Speaker 5: I think I know myself so deeply as a person.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I've done a lot of work. It's something I want
- 4:19Speaker 5: to continue to get better at so I can articulate it,
- 4:22Speaker 5: so I can ask for things in a relationship, and
- 4:26Speaker 5: that takes some work, and I don't the other person
- 4:29Speaker 5: has to be able to know themselves too, And I
- 4:31Speaker 5: feel like I wasn't really being met with that. So
- 4:34Speaker 5: when I say I feel like I, you know, never
- 4:37Speaker 5: really got to know him, I think it was really
- 4:39Speaker 5: because he didn't really get to know himself. Like he's
- 4:42Speaker 5: a little younger, you know, hasn't been through as much.
- 4:45Speaker 5: So I think I was constantly wanting more than I
- 4:48Speaker 5: just like didn't get.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Eric lost his dad while you guys were still together.
- 4:53Speaker 2: How was that, I mean, how difficult of a thing
- 4:56Speaker 2: to navigate so early in a relationship.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, it really was.
- 5:02Speaker 5: And I was, you know, so glad I got to
- 5:04Speaker 5: meet him at hometowns and I'm a nurse, so I
- 5:09Speaker 5: think my nursing kind of ICU background helped a lot
- 5:14Speaker 5: because his dad was really really sick for a long time.
- 5:19Speaker 5: But I think, you know, he could really lean on me,
- 5:24Speaker 5: which is nice, and like I wanted to be there
- 5:26Speaker 5: for him, Like there's grieving and losing somebody so hard
- 5:30Speaker 5: as a support person because there's there's not anything you
- 5:32Speaker 5: can say. And I was like, well aware, like I'm
- 5:35Speaker 5: like I'm not going to be able to make anything better,
- 5:38Speaker 5: but like if you need anything, I'm here, Like, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 5: I can only imagine how terrible it is. But like,
- 5:45Speaker 5: I can't be your support person.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Both your guys are in new relationships now publicly, right,
- 5:57Speaker 2: Tino took a long.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I feel like a while it's been. I don't know
- 6:00Speaker 4: when he started dating this new girl, but.
- 6:02Speaker 3: It seems private.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Seems like she's a quote regular girl in like his
- 6:08Speaker 2: hometown area. How did it feel for you guys, Well,
- 6:12Speaker 2: we'll talk about Rachel first.
- 6:15Speaker 4: How did it feel to see like that picture? Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 4: it's so weird because I feel like I truly am
- 6:21Speaker 4: so like just okay with the situation and moved on that.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I do genuinely want him to find happiness and find
- 6:28Speaker 4: a person. I assume he wants the same for me,
- 6:31Speaker 4: So obviously it's just kind of weird to see it.
- 6:34Speaker 4: But obviously wish him all the best and hope it's,
- 6:37Speaker 4: you know, going good.
- 6:39Speaker 3: And now Gabby she's just a little different.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I kind of wish been We're here for this
- 6:43Speaker 2: moment because he had a celebrity crush on Elizabeth Turner.
- 6:48Speaker 2: She's like like a model actress, and it seems like
- 6:51Speaker 2: the Eric is now dating her and Hannah, Oh my god,
- 6:55Speaker 2: Hanna grab a mic. Oh yeah, our producer Hannah's coming
- 6:59Speaker 2: on for a second. It because she has seen Eric
- 7:03Speaker 2: out about in La Let's hid very very soon after
- 7:09Speaker 2: the breakup.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and he just seemed like he was ready to go.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Yeah, no any time like bachelor, you know, yeah, yeah, bachelor,
- 7:18Speaker 2: traditional sense life.
- 7:20Speaker 3: How has all that been feeling?
- 7:23Speaker 5: I mean same, I think it's great, Like we weren't
- 7:25Speaker 5: a match. We want different things out of life. Clearly
- 7:29Speaker 5: after you just said, you know, he's like doing the
- 7:31Speaker 5: bachelor Bachelor already right after the breakup. Like my just
- 7:36Speaker 5: how I live my life is different, Like I'm goal oriented.
- 7:39Speaker 5: I get reward from like you know, having a purpose
- 7:44Speaker 5: like doing work things, expressing myself, like knowing myself, self
- 7:49Speaker 5: improvement on all of those things.
- 7:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Like I'm in my thirties, Like I just want to
- 7:53Speaker 5: be the person I want to be and take the
- 7:55Speaker 5: steps to get there. And it's like he's in a
- 7:58Speaker 5: different phase of life. So this is it's like kind
- 8:00Speaker 5: of validating. I'm like, why we weren't a match. And
- 8:03Speaker 5: it's like I don't want anyone to be unhappy, Like
- 8:06Speaker 5: him being happy or unhappy is not going to affect
- 8:09Speaker 5: me at all. So I'm like, yeah, like go do
- 8:12Speaker 5: a thing. But where'd you run into him? I'll know
- 8:14Speaker 5: to completely avoid it.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Lots of bars in Venice, be lots of bars, like
- 8:20Speaker 6: you we saw multiple times. I think I saw him
- 8:23Speaker 6: like three or four times out like right after the split,
- 8:26Speaker 6: and I was like, I think Gabby's better.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Doing this guy just.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Acting very is acting very single.
- 8:34Speaker 4: So shocking.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, not surprised.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Didn't you guys take some weird like moment where you're like,
- 8:43Speaker 2: we're not really engaged but we're dating.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I tried everything.
- 8:50Speaker 2: That's the movie Like it's like no, like let's not
- 8:53Speaker 2: even pretend because like I've heard multiple people do that too. Yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 2: like I don't want to engage, but we might get
- 8:59Speaker 2: there again one day.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Literally.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Well, I remember we had a conversation. It's like we
- 9:04Speaker 5: are engaged, like me wearing this ring and he obviously
- 9:07Speaker 5: wanted me to like wear the ring.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I was like, if we consider ourselves engaged, then we
- 9:17Speaker 5: need to be acting like this, and then these are
- 9:20Speaker 5: the things like the decisions and the conversations we need
- 9:23Speaker 5: to be having, which are very serious and like I'm
- 9:26Speaker 5: constantly bringing them to the table. If we're not, if
- 9:29Speaker 5: we're dating, then like cool, I want to be coreted,
- 9:32Speaker 5: Like you can just take me out on a date
- 9:33Speaker 5: a couple of times a week. We can like take
- 9:35Speaker 5: a step back like trying and like get to know
- 9:37Speaker 5: each other and revel in the new period because it
- 9:40Speaker 5: was kind of new being like in public, you know.
- 9:44Speaker 4: But nothing worked. I feel like everyone does go through
- 9:47Speaker 4: that because it is so emotional and all of a
- 9:50Speaker 4: sudden you're engaged and you realize that and you are,
- 9:53Speaker 4: but you're you've never dated them. You don't really know
- 9:56Speaker 4: who they are at all as a person because you
- 9:58Speaker 4: are so different in you're day to day life, and
- 10:00Speaker 4: so you're like wait, wait, wait, like yes, we're engaged,
- 10:03Speaker 4: but we need to go back to that dating phase.
- 10:05Speaker 4: So I feel like we kind of everyone who's been
- 10:07Speaker 4: through it does that in a way.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough.
- 10:21Speaker 4: How do you feel like the show should evolve?
- 10:23Speaker 2: That's a little pun dai pun for us, so that
- 10:27Speaker 2: you guys, do know your person more before you like
- 10:31Speaker 2: set off in the sunset together.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Alone casting casting.
- 10:35Speaker 2: You don't think it should be like more dates or
- 10:37Speaker 2: like eliminating the weak ones earlier on.
- 10:40Speaker 5: I don't think anything would have changed if I had
- 10:43Speaker 5: more time, I still would have ended up who I
- 10:46Speaker 5: ended up with, Like, I don't know how much you
- 10:51Speaker 5: can fully get to know someone on camera because it's
- 10:54Speaker 5: like these conversations are also, you know, pretty produced. They
- 10:58Speaker 5: have a layout that's like true to batch, like this
- 11:00Speaker 5: is when you typically say you're fine in love like
- 11:03Speaker 5: this is. So it's like how much of it is
- 11:05Speaker 5: actually real conversation maybe honestly more off camera time. I
- 11:11Speaker 5: feel like BP is so successful because you just spend.
- 11:14Speaker 3: All day with each other.
- 11:15Speaker 5: You're not constantly like having these like seriously produced, serious
- 11:19Speaker 5: and produced conversations with each other, like you get the downtime.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Plus the seriously produced conversations often feel so boring, and
- 11:28Speaker 2: when Gabby means boring as a viewer, when Gaby says produced,
- 11:32Speaker 2: she means like they're led. They're not like telling us
- 11:35Speaker 2: what to say. They're like, but answer this question now
- 11:37Speaker 2: and ask.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Them this question.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you. Okay, So let's talk about current dating life.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Rachel. I know that you you were dating, you were
- 11:48Speaker 3: dating somebody kind of secularly, right.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Well, so, I mean it's been crazy. Right after the show,
- 11:54Speaker 4: I feel like, not the show. After our AFR, I
- 11:57Speaker 4: guess I felt like so much pressure with myself to
- 12:01Speaker 4: be dating again and prove that I could basically do
- 12:04Speaker 4: it and feel desired and like I'm gonna just get
- 12:07Speaker 4: back out there. And I did really really soon, Like
- 12:10Speaker 4: it was immediately after our finale, and I mean, obviously
- 12:15Speaker 4: he was great. And it is to me, like, how
- 12:16Speaker 4: do you were you meeting guys when you were trying
- 12:18Speaker 4: to date? I really only dated one person again, and
- 12:22Speaker 4: I haven't dated really anyone in like six months. He
- 12:24Speaker 4: was the last person I dated because I think when
- 12:27Speaker 4: that kind of ended, everything kind of like in a
- 12:30Speaker 4: way came crashing down where I had to really kind
- 12:33Speaker 4: of realize what this whole year had been, like a
- 12:36Speaker 4: fail engagement, everything that happened on The Bachelor, and I
- 12:40Speaker 4: was really able to like take that time to heal
- 12:43Speaker 4: and like accept what had happened. And so, yeah, I've
- 12:47Speaker 4: been single and it's been really really nice, honestly.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Susie recently Susie like, who's like the third.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Of you guys from Clayton season. She recently said that
- 12:59Speaker 2: she pictures a relationship between you and Clayton to have
- 13:03Speaker 2: made more sense unhinged.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah, we heard that.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I don't understand that you really know that about like
- 13:10Speaker 4: the guy you were with. Yeah, yeah, that was hard
- 13:13Speaker 4: I think for me to your because I mean they
- 13:15Speaker 4: had a really serious relationship for months, and I obviously
- 13:18Speaker 4: only knew Clayton on the show and what aspect that was.
- 13:21Speaker 4: So I think that would hurt me in a way
- 13:24Speaker 4: if I had heard someone say that about me, who
- 13:26Speaker 4: has stated me for that long. But I don't know.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And it's like you've moved past it. You've had a
- 13:32Speaker 3: whole life outside of.
- 13:34Speaker 5: It, and I'm sure you've learned a lot from being
- 13:36Speaker 5: on Bachelor, but like you've had a lot of experiences
- 13:39Speaker 5: since then. So just to kind of assume, like, oh,
- 13:42Speaker 5: this should happen is like really.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Not taking you into consideration.
- 13:47Speaker 3: During our trip to.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Carmelo a couple of months ago, you and Clinton did
- 13:52Speaker 2: like have some sit down chats and stuff.
- 13:54Speaker 3: How's your relationship in since? Like do you guys text?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Not?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Really?
- 13:58Speaker 4: Let's see how.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Not? Really?
- 14:02Speaker 4: I mean here and there. He did send me his book.
- 14:05Speaker 4: It's been nice to have like a friendship with him,
- 14:07Speaker 4: and like with Zach now, I really feel like I've
- 14:10Speaker 4: been able to like I don't know, I was holding
- 14:13Speaker 4: on to so much resentment with I feel like everyone
- 14:15Speaker 4: and being able to like kind of come together and
- 14:18Speaker 4: really talk things out and apologize to them. It's been
- 14:22Speaker 4: really nice, So we'll keep doing this. Just bring all my.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Okay, it's nice therapy. Well, let's talk about that meeting
- 14:28Speaker 2: with Zach. I know we talked about it also on
- 14:29Speaker 2: ourn day episode, but you you know it's okay to
- 14:34Speaker 2: say that it was you were nervous and seeing him again,
- 14:37Speaker 2: especially since there was a lot of shade throw in
- 14:40Speaker 2: your way during his season. So did you want to
- 14:45Speaker 2: address that or you just like real sleep it under
- 14:47Speaker 2: the rug and be friendly.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously it was hard watching it because I did
- 14:53Speaker 4: hear and see everything it was. It was hurtful, but
- 14:57Speaker 4: in a way, like I know that he was just
- 14:59Speaker 4: maybe relating it back to the only experience he had,
- 15:02Speaker 4: and his feelings were valid and they were hurt. So
- 15:05Speaker 4: I did just try to like take that into consideration,
- 15:08Speaker 4: and I did text him during his season and reach
- 15:11Speaker 4: out and so we kind of did already make up.
- 15:14Speaker 4: And so seeing him again today, obviously it's the first time.
- 15:17Speaker 4: I was a little nervous, but yeah, it was nice.
- 15:20Speaker 5: I will say, Rachel, You're the best at like reaching
- 15:23Speaker 5: out and knowing that people have your support, and I
- 15:25Speaker 5: think that means a lot because it's like no message
- 15:29Speaker 5: DM or text like went unnoticed. I was like, hey,
- 15:32Speaker 5: I don't maybe I don't know you, but I'm here
- 15:33Speaker 5: to support you. Like I know you've been really supportive
- 15:36Speaker 5: with charity and like you're just good at that, and
- 15:40Speaker 5: like other guys from our season, you're good at being
- 15:42Speaker 5: like like kind of no hard feelings. I'm also a
- 15:45Speaker 5: person you can lean on and like I care about
- 15:47Speaker 5: you as a person, like you make it known, and
- 15:50Speaker 5: I think that means a lot to people.
- 15:51Speaker 3: That's so nice.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's always nice to see a DM
- 15:55Speaker 2: from somebody, even if you don't know them from the community.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 16:00Speaker 3: Make you feel better? It does?
- 16:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Okay, Yabby, Supposedly you slid into Ben's DM yes to
- 16:10Speaker 2: talk about this.
- 16:11Speaker 5: It was like word vomit right when I pulled up,
- 16:13Speaker 5: And like, I know Ben Higgins is somewhere on the
- 16:15Speaker 5: premise and I need to tell everybody that I slid
- 16:16Speaker 5: into out there chest.
- 16:21Speaker 2: You know what it would re emerge is like if
- 16:23Speaker 2: you were to damn Ben now, I'd be like, hey, thanks,
- 16:25Speaker 2: great weekend.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it would come I.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Know I deleted it because I up ahead.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I know.
- 16:34Speaker 5: I'm like I was like harboring this secret for years,
- 16:37Speaker 5: I feel because it's like we're like on parallel kind
- 16:41Speaker 5: of pass like he's obviously a huge name.
- 16:43Speaker 4: We just had a season. I'm like, when is someone
- 16:45Speaker 4: going to find out I did damn think about damned?
- 16:50Speaker 5: But he was like from Denver and I was I
- 16:53Speaker 5: had seen him in Denver before, never said that to
- 16:55Speaker 5: his face, so like I knew where he lived.
- 16:58Speaker 4: He thinks I didn't, like, oh my god, where were
- 17:01Speaker 4: you located? The coffee shop? Yeah, but he's like a
- 17:08Speaker 4: hot commodity, like you know in Denver when he was
- 17:11Speaker 4: single at the time.
- 17:12Speaker 3: So I slid. I did.
- 17:13Speaker 4: I'm a shameless slider.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Okay, well we're going to play a little game now,
- 17:17Speaker 2: Okay called who did you d M?
- 17:20Speaker 3: And let's read it out loud.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I have I'll say it so just to pull it
- 17:24Speaker 2: up and who is it? And what does it say?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Word for word? It'll be like an old.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Do we say I love you the other day? Really
- 17:35Speaker 4: genuinely thinking he would respond to the singers in your
- 17:42Speaker 4: musician era, Yeah, I love a good musician.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Okay, do you want to know who it is first
- 17:49Speaker 5: Brett Goldstain from Ted Lasso. Okay, I said, through medium
- 17:54Speaker 5: amounts of stocking, I see you're a Bachelor fan.
- 17:57Speaker 4: He has a Bachelor highlight.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Amazing the Bachelor highlights. Yeah, so it's not just like
- 18:02Speaker 2: he follows you. Does he follow you? No, he doesn't.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It was like one season and it was like unhinged.
- 18:07Speaker 5: It was just this clip that they were like going
- 18:09Speaker 5: to Tulsa, Oklahoma or something, and then you know, on
- 18:11Speaker 5: the couch, they make you go like okay, now everybody scream.
- 18:15Speaker 5: It was like to somewhere crazy, like for us, it's Houston. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 5: so it was like that. So I was like, through
- 18:23Speaker 5: medium amounts of stocking, I see you are a Bachelor fan,
- 18:26Speaker 5: and I am a I am a fan of your chest, hair,
- 18:29Speaker 5: sweater and dry sense of humor. No response, never read
- 18:35Speaker 5: fully ignored.
- 18:36Speaker 4: One day, Yeah, were waiting for that scene. It's never
- 18:39Speaker 4: been opened.
- 18:40Speaker 3: We have somebody else.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I have to get a cringey one, guys, because I
- 18:44Speaker 2: just opened Damn did Jimmy garoppolo in twenty fifteen?
- 18:49Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I was only on the show for I had just
- 18:53Speaker 2: gotten off of filming Batchel my first reason paradise and.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I want to die. I want to actually crawl into
- 18:59Speaker 3: a whole right now.
- 19:00Speaker 2: This is specially like reading an old diary dream.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I can't say it.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I lot yes, you hi, Jimmy. I think you're extremely handsome.
- 19:13Speaker 2: And I have never sent a direct message to a
- 19:15Speaker 2: guy in my life, fass, just like the most famous quarterback.
- 19:25Speaker 4: You're like, I never do this. I decided to take
- 19:27Speaker 4: a chance on you.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Still a backup at the time, guys, still a backup
- 19:32Speaker 2: to Tom, and I can't imagine the number of d
- 19:37Speaker 2: ms that you get. I did this, And let me
- 19:40Speaker 2: just say I did this in spite of Jared, because
- 19:43Speaker 2: he was like, oh, I'm sure you can't get like,
- 19:45Speaker 2: you know, I wanted to get Jimmy Garoppolo, who is
- 19:48Speaker 2: the backup quarterback to Tom Brady on the Patriot at
- 19:51Speaker 2: the time, and be like, oh, Jared, you don't want
- 19:53Speaker 2: to date me.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Well, Jimmy Garoppolo is gonna want to date me. Motivation.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I think I lied here by saying I'm going to
- 20:01Speaker 2: be in Providence this weekend, which is like half an
- 20:04Speaker 2: hour from where his house would have been, and I
- 20:07Speaker 2: would love to meet you. Let me know if you'd
- 20:10Speaker 2: be interested in hanging out. This is such like an
- 20:13Speaker 2: og DM, like when d ms were.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Like not a thing, very formal.
- 20:17Speaker 2: It's really like, this is the most embarrassing thing I've
- 20:22Speaker 2: ever seen in my life. And then I attached a
- 20:24Speaker 2: photo of myself.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Just to make things easy for you. I'm putting all
- 20:34Speaker 5: the information in one text.
- 20:38Speaker 2: You don't even have to look at my profile if
- 20:40Speaker 2: you're at trying to meet dam back. I want to
- 20:45Speaker 2: just I need to go retire from life right now.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Do you have friends?
- 20:50Speaker 5: Look over your dms? You say, okay, okay, And that's
- 20:55Speaker 5: so strange.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Is the best flirter and the best at sliding into
- 20:59Speaker 2: any text the threat, Oh my god, I love it.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I love it?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Should I go find another one. I can't think of
- 21:06Speaker 2: anybody that.
- 21:06Speaker 4: I had good ones? I feel I was just I
- 21:10Speaker 4: feel like with people I know I could never get. Yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 4: that's my damn Like Riley Green, the singer idem him too.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Wait, if you're listening Riley Green, no, I deleted it.
- 21:23Speaker 3: That's the thing. I get so ashamed. I said Green,
- 21:26Speaker 3: you guys, I am so out of the pop culture.
- 21:27Speaker 4: And he's a country singer. Okay, and I was going
- 21:31Speaker 4: to stagecoach and he was going to stage coach, showing
- 21:33Speaker 4: message him. And then I deleted it right away because
- 21:35Speaker 4: I get embarrassed that I did that. It's not there.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I never did it. Have a couple of glasses wine,
- 21:40Speaker 4: don't even remember. I'm like, oh I did that. No, Yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 4: that wasn't me.
- 21:45Speaker 3: That's different things.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm looking at him right now, so hot, Okay, So
- 21:59Speaker 2: Hannah just gave me one that she slided it. She
- 22:01Speaker 2: slid into and listen, Hannah and I we always talk
- 22:04Speaker 2: about Joe Burrow together, so I don't have you yes
- 22:06Speaker 2: to that. I mean, he's got a girlfriend, very public,
- 22:09Speaker 2: but oh my god, we talked about this last time.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I remember when we were in Carmel.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I couldn't stop talking about, you know, Joe Burrow. I
- 22:16Speaker 2: have a quarterback thing. It's fun, but it's so. Hannah
- 22:20Speaker 2: just sent me this screenshop. It's Nick Bossa and he
- 22:25Speaker 2: Bosah and he's a football player as well for San Francisco.
- 22:29Speaker 4: I love this athlete.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And she said hi on February second, with the smiley
- 22:34Speaker 2: face and then you guys, this is an amazing, amazing moment.
- 22:38Speaker 2: On February fifteenth, she says, following up on the above.
- 22:42Speaker 5: I it incredible, as you should.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I'm doing that now.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Yeah. On February twenty second, she goes circling back, and
- 22:55Speaker 2: then finally, on March fourteenth, the Granby face so good.
- 23:00Speaker 4: I will not get out of here. You will give
- 23:02Speaker 4: me a response.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I love it, So go back to Riley green No response.
- 23:09Speaker 4: No, well, I also just deleted it, so I don't
- 23:12Speaker 4: even know if he saw it. He probably didn't. I
- 23:14Speaker 4: don't think it.
- 23:15Speaker 5: I feel like men like aren't Like I'm always in
- 23:18Speaker 5: my dms, but we're women and we're like nosy and
- 23:21Speaker 5: want to know.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I feel like men aren't that good at it.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Tell about the blue check mark, Like you have a
- 23:25Speaker 3: blue check mark?
- 23:25Speaker 2: Aren't you read it? Is like your direct inbox? And
- 23:27Speaker 2: then like he's just gonna be really curious to see
- 23:29Speaker 2: who had a blue check mark.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Everyone go message Riley Greeny tell him message me back.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Operation Rachel and Riley love it good name, Like all right,
- 23:40Speaker 5: here's somebody that did not slide into any d MS
- 23:43Speaker 5: but made quite a buzz.
- 23:45Speaker 4: So you and Vinnie from Jersey Shore.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I this is I'm gonna look at you and I'm
- 23:51Speaker 2: gonna say what I think happened, tell me, and then
- 23:55Speaker 2: you should confirm her to not. Okay, I think you
- 23:57Speaker 2: had a really good flirtation. You made out a few times,
- 24:02Speaker 2: but it was way more fun to get the public
- 24:05Speaker 2: interested than like anything for real, for real.
- 24:08Speaker 5: We never even made out really yeah, no, because he's
- 24:11Speaker 5: never in la and he.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Got that's why.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Yeah, literally physically we can't make out cross country.
- 24:17Speaker 4: My lips are that meme that are like, oh, flopping
- 24:19Speaker 4: in the wind.
- 24:21Speaker 5: But yeah, he got eliminated on dancing like a couple
- 24:26Speaker 5: of weeks before it was over, and that's when it
- 24:28Speaker 5: was my busiest. So our pass just didn't really cross.
- 24:31Speaker 5: I'm I was always like kind of like I'm interested,
- 24:35Speaker 5: like take me on a date whatever that looks like,
- 24:37Speaker 5: like find me to New York basically, like that's what
- 24:40Speaker 5: people do these days. I feel like if you're going
- 24:42Speaker 5: to date long distance, and it just like never really
- 24:46Speaker 5: came to fruition. Then we saw each other on tour, Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 5: I mean.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Didn't you guys go on tour together or did he
- 24:51Speaker 2: just make a few appearances.
- 24:52Speaker 4: He was there for like five days.
- 24:54Speaker 5: He only spent one night on the bus, which like
- 24:56Speaker 5: if we were going to make out. It'd probably be
- 24:58Speaker 5: like on the bus. Yeah. So yeah, just like never
- 25:02Speaker 5: really like kind of bossome. We're good friends, like we do.
- 25:05Speaker 5: We like talk all the time. He's sending me his
- 25:07Speaker 5: jump ropes. He's like, hey, would you be interested. I'm like, Vinnie,
- 25:12Speaker 5: you can send me whatever you want. They're gonna say
- 25:15Speaker 5: my back room will never use them, but like, please
- 25:18Speaker 5: send me them.
- 25:20Speaker 4: But yeah, so just friendly.
- 25:22Speaker 5: He is very flirty in the social media realm, I think,
- 25:26Speaker 5: with like multiple women. So I think he kind of
- 25:29Speaker 5: started that and I was like, oh my god, this
- 25:31Speaker 5: is fun because I'm sure there's some overlap of Bachelor
- 25:34Speaker 5: Jersey Shore fans.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's like that kind of overtook. But not
- 25:39Speaker 5: to say like I'm not interested, but it just doesn't
- 25:42Speaker 5: really seem like it's gonna like blossom.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Okay, well you guys should just go on a date
- 25:47Speaker 3: and see.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Literally, but I'm not gonna take myself on a date.
- 25:50Speaker 5: It's like he needs to like put in the initiative, Racha,
- 25:55Speaker 5: what do you.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Think about that coupling, Vinnie? Yeah, do you think it
- 25:59Speaker 2: makes sense? I think it makes sense on paper.
- 26:00Speaker 4: But yeah, I don't know. I also feel like maybe
- 26:03Speaker 4: he's too much of a mama's boyfriend. God, yeah, I
- 26:07Speaker 4: can't really with the mama's boy She needs like a
- 26:09Speaker 4: partner who's very confident and like I don't know, yeah, yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 4: not that you're not confident any but I don't know
- 26:18Speaker 4: who knows?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Okay, So if we were to set you guys up,
- 26:20Speaker 2: like if you were to set Gabby up with a celebrity,
- 26:24Speaker 2: who would it be?
- 26:24Speaker 4: And if you were to set up Rachel with the celebrity,
- 26:26Speaker 4: who would it be?
- 26:27Speaker 1: Like?
- 26:29Speaker 3: Or I should we let's just go there?
- 26:32Speaker 2: Who's the bachelor person that you think so and so
- 26:36Speaker 2: should give a try?
- 26:38Speaker 4: I know yours should date Tyler Cameron. And I'm only
- 26:43Speaker 4: saying that, Yeah, that's a good match.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Know who doesn't have a crush on Tyler Cameron.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I think you guys would be good together. I don't
- 26:52Speaker 4: really know his personality, but he seems like kind of fun.
- 26:55Speaker 4: But he seems that he seems really nice to look at,
- 26:58Speaker 4: So what more do we need?
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yours would be what's his name?
- 27:01Speaker 4: Ben? From Katie's Season?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Oh?
- 27:04Speaker 4: Is it Ben Smith?
- 27:05Speaker 5: Yes? So hot?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:07Speaker 5: So hot and like emotional? Oh sorry, yeah, I get
- 27:12Speaker 5: him confused. The COVID seasons. But but yeah, I feel
- 27:15Speaker 5: like you guys would be a good match.
- 27:17Speaker 3: He lives in la Maybe you should give him a call.
- 27:19Speaker 5: And he's like kind of below like not he doesn't
- 27:22Speaker 5: care about Yeah, he's like it, which I love that
- 27:26Speaker 5: he has his own stuff going on, Like I think
- 27:29Speaker 5: it'd be great.
- 27:30Speaker 3: He seems really nice.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Let's do it. Okay, let's make it happen.
- 27:33Speaker 2: All right, Let's have him come to our next thing.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Hanna put it down, Ben Smith and all.
- 27:38Speaker 4: My other axes.
- 27:39Speaker 3: We'll just get him all there.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk a little bit about your breast reduction surgery, Rachel.
- 27:49Speaker 2: What was the reasoning going into it and how long
- 27:51Speaker 2: have you been thinking about doing it?
- 27:53Speaker 4: So I wanted to do it since I was seventeen.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I was in high school really like interested doing the research,
- 28:01Speaker 4: and I was just kind of waiting at that point.
- 28:03Speaker 4: And once I was in college, I was like, all right, well,
- 28:05Speaker 4: as soon as I graduate, I'm gonna get it done.
- 28:08Speaker 4: I ended up graduating like a month before I went
- 28:10Speaker 4: on the Bachelor, and I went immediately into the Bachelorette.
- 28:13Speaker 4: So once that ended, I was like one hundred percent
- 28:16Speaker 4: doing it right now. Being on the show affected it
- 28:19Speaker 4: a lot too. I feel like because I just hated
- 28:22Speaker 4: the clothes I was in and I was so uncomfortable
- 28:24Speaker 4: I would have back pains. So it just like made
- 28:26Speaker 4: sense right after the show and no regrets. Best decision
- 28:30Speaker 4: of my entire life. Do you mind telling us what
- 28:33Speaker 4: soars we were? I think I was a triple D
- 28:37Speaker 4: maybe bigger. I literally didn't even measure myself because I
- 28:40Speaker 4: just wouldn't ever wear like a wired bra. I would
- 28:43Speaker 4: only really wear sports bras and stuff like that. And
- 28:45Speaker 4: now I think I'm a c great. Yeah, so it's
- 28:48Speaker 4: been credible. Such a difference. My back like feels incredible.
- 28:53Speaker 4: I just feel like I can wear anything, My movement
- 28:56Speaker 4: exercising is better. Just like this quality of life is amazing.
- 29:00Speaker 3: I'm so happy for you.
- 29:01Speaker 4: It's awesome.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you look incredible.
- 29:04Speaker 4: It's great.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Do you feel like people whenever you talk about are
- 29:07Speaker 3: like looking at your boobs?
- 29:08Speaker 4: No money for that.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like having this conversation and I'm checking
- 29:13Speaker 2: you out.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I'm like, they look so perky. I show everyone, I
- 29:17Speaker 4: showed Ashley last night. I show everyone. I have this
- 29:20Speaker 4: picture of me mid surgery where one boob is done
- 29:22Speaker 4: and one isn't. And anyone who asked me about I'm
- 29:25Speaker 4: do you want to see a picture I just show
- 29:26Speaker 4: I'm like, oh my god, yeah you can put the
- 29:30Speaker 4: little blur. Yeah, it's my favorite picture. It's so jarring.
- 29:35Speaker 4: It's like one is like, yeah, like.
- 29:38Speaker 5: Who would have thought, like boobs can be such a burden,
- 29:41Speaker 5: but like bigger is not always better?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I would obviously can't relate, But all I
- 29:48Speaker 2: know is that what I always thought, you know.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I was like, I wonder what I'd be like with
- 29:51Speaker 3: bigger boobs.
- 29:52Speaker 2: And then when I was pregnant and they were bigger,
- 29:55Speaker 2: I was like I don't like these Yeah, like I
- 29:58Speaker 2: don't like the way that I felt them, like on
- 30:00Speaker 2: my stomach.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 30:04Speaker 2: So, how was the recovery from that? And how was
- 30:06Speaker 2: your friend and roommate Genevieve and taking care of you?
- 30:08Speaker 4: Yeah? No, she was amazing. Recovery actually wasn't bad. I
- 30:12Speaker 4: thought I was gonna be like down bad for a
- 30:14Speaker 4: long time, but probably like a week two weeks and
- 30:16Speaker 4: then I was basically back to normal and I'm like
- 30:19Speaker 4: three months now and totally fine. And Genevieve's awesome. She
- 30:23Speaker 4: took such good care of me. So thank god she.
- 30:25Speaker 5: Is a good little like worker care taker. Yeah, she
- 30:29Speaker 5: like thrives in that.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I love it. Yeah, all right, well let's talk about
- 30:36Speaker 3: like next steps in life.
- 30:38Speaker 2: You are a pilot, and whenever I think about you
- 30:40Speaker 2: being a pilot, I'm like, that's like the most badass
- 30:42Speaker 2: thing ever. And I can't imagine what you look like
- 30:45Speaker 2: when you're like flying by yourself. And I know that
- 30:48Speaker 2: sometimes you actually like go up in the air by yourself,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and you've had some scary moments up in there by.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, I have some horror stories, like I
- 30:55Speaker 4: could literally go on for days. A lot of them
- 30:57Speaker 4: were when I was alone. They were when you were
- 31:00Speaker 4: a lot of scary. It's yeah, it's just a lot,
- 31:03Speaker 4: but I love it. I love like the adrenaline rush too,
- 31:06Speaker 4: So like even though they were scary, I think they're
- 31:08Speaker 4: like fun stories.
- 31:09Speaker 3: To tell me.
- 31:09Speaker 2: There was way you keep going like that, a weird
- 31:12Speaker 2: light go off, and by myself.
- 31:15Speaker 4: There was this one flight I had to do that
- 31:16Speaker 4: was six hours long that I had to do to
- 31:18Speaker 4: get my commercial license, six hours by myself in one day.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Like it was actually a lot, but I ended up
- 31:24Speaker 4: having an RPM gauge failure, which is basically like you're
- 31:28Speaker 4: basically saying what your engine is doing. And so I
- 31:30Speaker 4: thought I was having an engine failure. And when I
- 31:33Speaker 4: like landed, basically I was like, oh my god. And
- 31:35Speaker 4: I went to this maintenance sight and they basically couldn't
- 31:38Speaker 4: tell me what it was. They were like, we don't
- 31:40Speaker 4: know if it's your RPM or if it is your engine,
- 31:43Speaker 4: so we recommend you staying like here. And I was
- 31:45Speaker 4: in Indiana, and I was like, I'm just going to
- 31:46Speaker 4: assume it's our PM gauge because I didn't see any
- 31:50Speaker 4: other engine roughness. And then I just said the rest
- 31:52Speaker 4: of the flight, no, I go back.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:54Speaker 4: And the scariest part was that it was like dark
- 31:57Speaker 4: out by the time I was going back, so it
- 31:58Speaker 4: was just pitch black, me by myself and my RPM gauge,
- 32:02Speaker 4: just like going into the red into the red. But
- 32:04Speaker 4: it actually ended up just being the gage.
- 32:06Speaker 3: So I was, Oh my god, terrifying.
- 32:08Speaker 4: You literally live on the edge.
- 32:09Speaker 5: I forget that you're such an adrenaline junkie.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't like come across as somebody that isn't
- 32:15Speaker 2: adrenaline junkie.
- 32:17Speaker 4: She loves it. Yeah, I love it like I got
- 32:19Speaker 4: to go on that date on our season where we
- 32:21Speaker 4: did the zero g's in the plane so much fun.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Like I love anything like that. But I'm in the
- 32:28Speaker 4: process right now. I'm renewing my CFI license, my teacher license,
- 32:32Speaker 4: and I'm gonna go back to that.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Do you just want to go fly for the airlines?
- 32:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the goal. I don't like teaching. You basically
- 32:39Speaker 4: just have to do it to get to the airlines.
- 32:41Speaker 4: So do you pretend like to be in top gun
- 32:43Speaker 4: though when you're teaching? Oh my gosh, teaching is so hard.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I'm just not a teacher, Like not everyone is cut out.
- 32:50Speaker 4: So it's like I'm a good pilot and I know
- 32:53Speaker 4: what I'm doing, But like sometimes teaching I'm just like,
- 32:56Speaker 4: oh god, and.
- 32:57Speaker 3: You're still impatient.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's scary as hell, like your life is
- 33:01Speaker 5: in their hands.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Who are these students? So literally one time I was
- 33:05Speaker 4: with a student when Clayton season was airing, and he
- 33:09Speaker 4: just looks at me. We were like flying in silence,
- 33:11Speaker 4: and he goes, I know you're on the show.
- 33:14Speaker 3: No one not.
- 33:14Speaker 4: And he goes, YESTERD, why I saw you? And I'm like, Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 4: you're back back to this, it was I think the
- 33:21Speaker 4: episode the night before was Fantasy suitees too. Oh my god, great,
- 33:25Speaker 4: Like I can take it real seriously right now?
- 33:27Speaker 3: So yeah, literally, Oh you're in Gabby.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I know that you guys are both like enjoying your
- 33:32Speaker 2: post bachelor life, like absolutely no pressure in getting back
- 33:36Speaker 2: to what you're doing beforehand, Like you should just soak
- 33:38Speaker 2: up all like the money and experiences that you can
- 33:41Speaker 2: right now.
- 33:41Speaker 3: But do you ever think about going back to nursing.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Obviously, Like healthcare has a special place in my heart.
- 33:48Speaker 5: I was in IC you nurse for eight years. It
- 33:51Speaker 5: is grueling. Nursing is really not for the faint of heart.
- 33:56Speaker 5: I will say at that time, I was pretty burnt
- 33:58Speaker 5: out working through COVID I started when I was young.
- 34:02Speaker 5: I see you as just like intense. You know, you're
- 34:05Speaker 5: dealing with lots of death and lots of sick patients
- 34:08Speaker 5: and lots of responsibility. So I don't think I would
- 34:12Speaker 5: ever go back to the bedside, but I would like
- 34:15Speaker 5: to be like an advocate in some way. It's really
- 34:19Speaker 5: hard because sometimes it seems like unattainable. It's like, what
- 34:23Speaker 5: can I do personally about staffing ratios? You know, this
- 34:27Speaker 5: is kind of like a niche thing that like in
- 34:30Speaker 5: real life doesn't really affect people.
- 34:32Speaker 3: But like obviously we need nurses.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Which we know through the pandemic.
- 34:35Speaker 5: So but yeah, I think I like right now, just
- 34:39Speaker 5: want to spread the true word because I think nursing
- 34:42Speaker 5: is glorified.
- 34:43Speaker 4: I think people are like, oh my god, you're nurse.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Like you must be like so perfect, great angel and
- 34:48Speaker 5: like love your job, and it's like, no, we're humans,
- 34:52Speaker 5: and humans taking care of humans is really scary and
- 34:55Speaker 5: really vulnerable, and we do make mistakes and we work
- 34:59Speaker 5: thirteen hours day on our feet with sometimes no breaks
- 35:02Speaker 5: and no chance to get water. So it's like these
- 35:05Speaker 5: are the things we need to talk about, not necessarily glorifying,
- 35:08Speaker 5: like the occupation, like we need to know the truth
- 35:12Speaker 5: that's really well put.
- 35:13Speaker 3: All right, well, this is a great time. You're the best.
- 35:17Speaker 3: It's so fun to have a girl time with.
- 35:20Speaker 4: So fun, didn't hit How are you?
- 35:24Speaker 2: How am I next time?
