- 1:52Speaker 6: to be here with you backbones.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Today doesn't feel like Oh, I'll tell you what, it's
- 1:56Speaker 4: probably one of the biggest shows I've ever got head
- 1:59Speaker 4: coming up today.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Well, it was one of those rare occasions where we're
- 2:03Speaker 3: having to leave ideas out. Yeah, because there were so many.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We can't do it today. We'll do that tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
- 2:11Speaker 6: To be honest, I had a check to Bogsy about it, Yeah, CEO,
- 2:14Speaker 6: and he was saying we can go to nine tonight
- 2:17Speaker 6: because he saw the ideas. Yes, and he was like,
- 2:19Speaker 6: I don't mind you guys going to nine pm.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Oh my god, Yeah, okay, I'm keen. If you guys
- 2:24Speaker 3: are keen, I love it, yes, say. Speaking of the show,
- 2:26Speaker 3: what's coming up? What's happening on the Big Show with
- 2:33Speaker 3: Old mogis.
- 2:35Speaker 4: There's always another couple of opportunities to get yourself involved
- 2:38Speaker 4: fowlers and get into the drawer for magic round. Running
- 2:41Speaker 4: out of opportunities. Yeah, time is passing us by. I'm
- 2:45Speaker 4: listening out for the cue to call and give us
- 2:47Speaker 4: a ring on eight hundred Aki. Also, Jason's found himself
- 2:51Speaker 4: a cure. He's been pissing the bed, so he'll be
- 2:54Speaker 4: talking about how managed to cure himself with that next up. Oh,
- 2:58Speaker 4: Kezy over there. Yeah, has got a bone to pick.
- 3:01Speaker 4: He's also got a T shirt to lit.
- 3:04Speaker 2: But mostly a bone to pick with Old Hoidy Jazz
- 3:06Speaker 2: not again his head like a whole.
- 3:09Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Who fight is here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 3:16Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon, eleven minutes past four o'clock. Al Right, Keys,
- 3:19Speaker 3: you get on with it.
- 3:22Speaker 6: I got a bone a pit, I've got a bone
- 3:24Speaker 6: to pick with Old Hoidy j At this time yesterday
- 3:27Speaker 6: we were discussing the.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Fact that Houghty J is now a landlord.
- 3:30Speaker 6: He has tenants and his property and they were complaining
- 3:34Speaker 6: about something and you were coming and erring whether.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Or not you should evict them completely totally.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Now I have, by the way, I gone, yes, good, yeah, good,
- 3:42Speaker 6: good stuff. Now we share a builder, don't we. You've
- 3:47Speaker 6: got a builder who is a mutual acquaintance. Actually he's
- 3:50Speaker 6: more of a made of mine. Now we're buds, you're
- 3:51Speaker 6: birth mates. Yeah, he's a nice fellow.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I like to keep a professional distance.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Well he calls Jason's client, yes, whereas he calls me
- 3:59Speaker 2: his mate.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Cool.
- 4:01Speaker 6: And today we were havingy young because he's around my
- 4:04Speaker 6: place fixing something up for me.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And we started talking about old Hoidy J's old house, right,
- 4:08Speaker 2: and he was cracking up and showing me photos of
- 4:11Speaker 2: Hoidy J's old house. And I said, you.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Ever told me that?
- 4:17Speaker 6: Because I said, oh, he didn't he get you to
- 4:20Speaker 6: replace a couple of planks on.
- 4:21Speaker 2: The dick that were rotten.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you didn't tell us that he fell through the
- 4:25Speaker 6: dick three times?
- 4:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because that was so rotten. Well he's a big unit.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, but he's not so big that you just
- 4:33Speaker 2: fall through a dick. And then he said, Hoidy J.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Said just replace a couple of the old planks there,
- 4:38Speaker 6: and his what he said to me was the only
- 4:40Speaker 6: option was to burn the entire iffing dick down, and
- 4:43Speaker 6: Hoidy J. Just wanted to replace a couple of planks
- 4:45Speaker 6: and he fell through it three times.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Can I just say, Can I just say, we actually
- 4:52Speaker 3: never quite decided what to do with the dick because
- 4:55Speaker 3: we were doing other stuff. And I said that was
- 4:58Speaker 3: such a big job. It was like, well, dear with
- 5:00Speaker 3: that later. That's a big project. Okay, we either rip
- 5:04Speaker 3: it all out or maybe this is possibly because it
- 5:06Speaker 3: wasn't all rotten. There were places where it was actually okay, it.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Was just mostly rotten. Just parts of it he stood
- 5:13Speaker 2: on were rock.
- 5:13Speaker 3: And as he said, yes, he said, as long as
- 5:16Speaker 3: underneath is all right, we can actually pretty easily replace. Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Did he have a look when he fell through to
- 5:22Speaker 4: see if it was right underneath? No, lazy, Yeah, I reckon.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Pretty hard to see from your hospital bed, I guess.
- 5:28Speaker 6: And then I also heard a story from Jason about
- 5:31Speaker 6: him repairing a door and about how jaceaston to come
- 5:34Speaker 6: and have a look at a door. And he was
- 5:35Speaker 6: mucking around with it for a week while there and
- 5:37Speaker 6: blah blah blah. And then I talked to him today
- 5:39Speaker 6: and you should have seen the door that was on it.
- 5:41Speaker 2: It was completely.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Rooted, the whole frame and everything needed replacing, and blah
- 5:45Speaker 6: blah blah. And it was just it was just interesting
- 5:48Speaker 6: to get another person's perspective on the yards that you
- 5:51Speaker 6: had told me.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, well I tell you with regards to
- 5:54Speaker 3: that door, it was in our sun room there, Mogi
- 5:56Speaker 3: that went out to the deck. I'm with you never
- 5:59Speaker 3: used it in twenty years, is right, because it was rooted.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It was actually it was. It was funny because for
- 6:06Speaker 2: twenty years.
- 6:08Speaker 3: What it was like there were other ways of getting
- 6:09Speaker 3: on the deck.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Window. Yeah, and then once you're on the deck, you're
- 6:14Speaker 2: going to fall through it. Anyway.
- 6:16Speaker 3: The tragedy of that deck was that it was actually
- 6:19Speaker 3: a very beautiful deck and we just neglected it. But
- 6:22Speaker 3: the weird thing also about that deck was we never
- 6:24Speaker 3: used it. Weirdly enough, I don't know why we never
- 6:27Speaker 3: used it, but we just never did. Yeah, because it
- 6:30Speaker 3: was out the back of the house. Sort of thing.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Hard to explain.
- 6:33Speaker 6: And you also say that the door was a hollow
- 6:35Speaker 6: corps door, which is for interior doors, and that was
- 6:39Speaker 6: on the exterior of the house, which is meant to
- 6:40Speaker 6: be a solid door, right, and then like just all
- 6:43Speaker 6: this funny stuff like that, and he was telling me
- 6:44Speaker 6: these yarns, and it.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Was it was like you built their house out of
- 6:47Speaker 4: scrap found on the side of the road when they
- 6:50Speaker 4: do that collection at the end of the month.
- 6:52Speaker 3: You know what I mean, Well, funnily enough, funny you
- 6:55Speaker 3: should say that, Mogi because the builder, and I won't
- 6:58Speaker 3: say his name, he's a great He is a great man.
- 7:02Speaker 3: He replaced that door with a door that he found
- 7:05Speaker 3: on the road.
- 7:06Speaker 4: He did the way that was found on the road
- 7:10Speaker 4: was a step up from what you had in your house.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yes, it was. It was an old sort of I
- 7:17Speaker 3: think it was an old Cody door.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It was one hundred years old.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I just thought that. You know that there's a
- 7:23Speaker 2: direct line. Now he's one of my mates, so.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Sure, man, well he's going to come and work for
- 7:27Speaker 3: me again. Surely see a Bitter Hurry Up.
- 7:32Speaker 1: The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 7:38Speaker 3: The Offspring there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 7:41Speaker 3: Thursday afternoon. The time is twenty three minutes past four o'clock.
- 7:45Speaker 3: And fellas, I had a weird encounter on the streets
- 7:49Speaker 3: of Auckland City today.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Strange encounters of the.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And I want to be honest here, this inenuinely kind
- 8:00Speaker 3: of freaked me out.
- 8:02Speaker 2: You're joking.
- 8:02Speaker 3: It freaked me out. Now. It's not uncommon when I'm
- 8:07Speaker 3: wandering around wherever I am that the odd person might go, oh,
- 8:12Speaker 3: hordy J or good a hoody J or love the
- 8:16Speaker 3: show mate, or you suck us you know that sort
- 8:21Speaker 3: of thing.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Cook the men's eggs.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that one's That's not an uncommon thing to
- 8:28Speaker 3: happen to me. But today, as I walked down from
- 8:32Speaker 3: my apartment for my morning walk in the city because
- 8:34Speaker 3: it was such a beautiful day, and I'm standing at
- 8:37Speaker 3: the lights and this dude is standing next me, a
- 8:40Speaker 3: young fella, maybe late twenties, and I'm sending on the
- 8:44Speaker 3: lights and he says to me, you're still doing TV, bro,
- 8:48Speaker 3: And I went, oh, not really, just you know, little
- 8:51Speaker 3: bits and pieces. I mostly do radio now. And he
- 8:56Speaker 3: was like, oh, yeah, So the buzzer goes and we're
- 9:00Speaker 3: going across and he just keeps talking to me, chatting
- 9:02Speaker 3: about this and he's going to see his family, and
- 9:04Speaker 3: I was like, oh, yeah, blah blahlah. We're having a
- 9:05Speaker 3: bit of a conversation. And then we're walking across a
- 9:08Speaker 3: TA square there and he's still standing beside me and chatting,
- 9:13Speaker 3: and I'm going, okay, well this.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Is so you guys are mates at this point.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Well he was just chatting one and I was just
- 9:18Speaker 3: sort of responding, and I was going, hopefully he's going
- 9:20Speaker 3: to sort of peel off at some point, you know, off,
- 9:26Speaker 3: peel off and sort of do his own thing and
- 9:28Speaker 3: so forth. But he didn't, and he just kept walking
- 9:31Speaker 3: with me. And I'm walking. I'm like halfway down Queen
- 9:35Speaker 3: Street and this guy is still talking to me, and
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm going, oh, right, right right, yeah, no, no, totally,
- 9:40Speaker 3: I can be mate, you know that's and I'm not joking,
- 9:43Speaker 3: and I'm going this is getting a bit freaky. And
- 9:45Speaker 3: then I get to a seven eleven and I said, oh, sorry, mate,
- 9:49Speaker 3: I just got to go and get something from the
- 9:50Speaker 3: seven eleven. He went all sweet man, and he came
- 9:53Speaker 3: in with me and I'm in the sif, I'm in
- 9:56Speaker 3: the seven eleven, and I didn't even want to be
- 9:59Speaker 3: in the seven. And I was like, oh, I bought
- 10:04Speaker 3: a Nippy's iced coffee, but I wasn't intending on buying
- 10:08Speaker 3: a Nippy's ice coffee. Do you buy him one? No?
- 10:12Speaker 3: And he was just standing this sort of next to me,
- 10:15Speaker 3: and I got my you know, thanks mate, and walked
- 10:17Speaker 3: down and he carried on chatting.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Was the guy behind the counter like, thanks fellas.
- 10:21Speaker 7: No, he was didn't say anything, and I'm just I
- 10:26Speaker 7: walked probably another three four minutes with the guy, and
- 10:29Speaker 7: I'm going, what do I do in this situation?
- 10:32Speaker 3: What do I do?
- 10:34Speaker 2: And what did you do?
- 10:35Speaker 3: In the end, I stopped and I said, mate, I'm
- 10:40Speaker 3: really sorry, but I'm actually I've got stuff to do,
- 10:42Speaker 3: so I might just lied. Yeah, I did. I did
- 10:46Speaker 3: because I didn't have anything to do. That is when
- 10:48Speaker 3: we were out. Sorry, I've got stuff to do, so
- 10:51Speaker 3: you know, I've got I've got to go now sort
- 10:53Speaker 3: of thing. And he went, oh, no, they're sweet. They're sweet, bro,
- 10:55Speaker 3: They're sweet. And I went and I walked off and
- 10:59Speaker 3: then I look back and he was just standing there
- 11:01Speaker 3: by himself, just sort of staring at me, and I
- 11:04Speaker 3: was like, what a j piece of shit. It's not
- 11:09Speaker 3: so bad, you know, It's like, but then what what?
- 11:13Speaker 3: What else am I supposed to do? He was going
- 11:15Speaker 3: to follow me wherever I went?
- 11:16Speaker 2: What was Was there something wrong with him?
- 11:19Speaker 3: No, he seemed pretty It was a pretty normal conversation.
- 11:23Speaker 3: But it just didn't stop, it didn't cease.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He had nothing, Did he have nothing on?
- 11:27Speaker 3: No, he was just cruising around. Man, what a loser.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Let me get this straight. He was walking around the
- 11:32Speaker 6: city with no it'd be and nothing to do.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Pretty much. Wow, an absolute drop care. But I started
- 11:42Speaker 3: having a bit of an anxiety attack because I was
- 11:45Speaker 3: I didn't know how to deal with it. I was
- 11:46Speaker 3: just like, I've never had this has never happened to
- 11:48Speaker 3: me before, and I had to, you know.
- 11:50Speaker 2: A stalker.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I hardly saw you and felt sorry for you. Lonely exactly.
- 11:55Speaker 3: And then I turned it on him and made you know,
- 11:57Speaker 3: and then then he felt really lonely, you know what
- 11:59Speaker 3: I mean. He's probably doing a really nice thing to
- 12:01Speaker 3: keep me company because I look lonely. Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 4: The worst thing is that he'll be a huge fan
- 12:05Speaker 4: of the radio show, and he'll be listening to this
- 12:07Speaker 4: of course, and next time he sees you you are
- 12:10Speaker 4: mint me.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 6: For example three four eight three literally textan that was me.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Thought we had a nice convoy. You pricked.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Shocking burst Yeah, rop Jason.
- 12:22Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was jas, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 12:25Speaker 1: in four on Radio Hoarchy.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Welcome back but Big Show, Magic Crown three b Let's
- 12:34Speaker 3: put another man busted on the bench, Muddy oats. As
- 12:38Speaker 3: Mogi said at the top of the show, she's coming
- 12:41Speaker 3: about us very quickly, Fellas it's only a month away now.
- 12:45Speaker 3: She certainly is.
- 12:46Speaker 2: She's coming about us. She is coming about us, Jase
- 12:49Speaker 2: as Magic Round as she from my perspective is r
- 12:53Speaker 2: she's magic Man. She sounds pretty hard to be honest.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I love Magic Round.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Yeah totally.
- 12:57Speaker 2: She gets pretty pursed out, does she? Actually she does responsibly.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Magic Round is three glorious nights in Brisbane, eight games
- 13:06Speaker 6: of rugby league, all at Suncrp Stadium. The whole atmosphere
- 13:09Speaker 6: around the event is magnificent. The street right next door
- 13:13Speaker 6: to sun Corp Caxton Streets, full of pubs, full of
- 13:16Speaker 6: people just on a bloody good.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Vibe because it's rugby league and it's just.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Oh guys, it is a festival of rugby league and
- 13:26Speaker 3: you literally go from the stadium to Caston Street, have
- 13:29Speaker 3: a few beers. He's go back to the stadium, been
- 13:31Speaker 3: back to Caxton Street, and then in the morning you
- 13:34Speaker 3: have your spicy mints, don't you Keysy.
- 13:36Speaker 2: He's mints on toast.
- 13:37Speaker 3: He found a place that does mints on toast and
- 13:40Speaker 3: he's been obsessed with it ever since.
- 13:41Speaker 6: The last two years. I've been I think I've had
- 13:43Speaker 6: that dish five times. Yeah, out of a possible six mornings.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Yes, probably sort of existed in about a three kilometer
- 13:51Speaker 4: stretch of Brisbane that has been it.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd say so. Yeah, I'm actually very keen to
- 13:56Speaker 3: expand out this year, so we'll see how we do it.
- 13:59Speaker 3: At the meantime, us go to the phone lines, get
- 14:01Speaker 3: a Dave your mad bastard Hell's life. Oh it's fantastic feelings.
- 14:07Speaker 3: How are you feeling? Yeah, tell me Dave. Where are

- 14:26Speaker 3: I got to hit myself. No, good on you, mate.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Tell me, Dave, what do you do for a crist.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Well for a crass, I'm a primary teacher.

- 14:49Speaker 2: the line there, thanks very much.

- 14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, good on you, mate. How's how's the tron today? Oh?
- 15:03Speaker 4: Pretty sunny actually, but of a turnaround from today? Hey,
- 15:07Speaker 4: can you tell us Dylan if you're won? Man, if
- 15:10Speaker 4: you happen to win, who would you take with you?
- 15:12Speaker 4: A great question?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Oh I would have to take one of my mates.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Seemed to watch The Wise every weekend.
- 15:18Speaker 3: So yeah, which one? Which one you thinking?
- 15:21Speaker 2: Dylan?
- 15:23Speaker 3: Aaron? Second? There? Heron I've heard about it. Have you
- 15:28Speaker 3: guys heard about Aaron? Yeah, he's a piece of ship.
- 15:30Speaker 2: He's a real piece of ship. Yeah he's terrible.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's cool.
- 15:33Speaker 2: But like I mean like I'm keen. Yeah, like we
- 15:36Speaker 2: can just look after him.
- 15:37Speaker 3: And good on your Dylan. You're in the drawer, mate,
- 15:42Speaker 3: Good on.
- 15:42Speaker 2: You hold the line dilly.

- 15:50Speaker 3: are you? Yeah? Good? Thanks man? Good? What do you
- 15:51Speaker 3: do for a cruss? Karen? I'm an engineer. Yeah, your backbone?
- 15:57Speaker 6: Hey, actually, Karen, I've got a quick question man, if
- 16:00Speaker 6: you were to win this prize, who would you take
- 16:04Speaker 6: with you?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Who cares? Between the wife and mates? It's often the
- 16:10Speaker 2: toss up, But who do you want to take?
- 16:13Speaker 3: Probably the wife the ramifications?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but if there were no ramifications you want, I'd
- 16:22Speaker 4: say here, yeah, smart man.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Good on your mates, you're in the drawers. Good luck
- 16:34Speaker 3: on your line mate. Do you think your wife would
- 16:36Speaker 3: enjoy Magic Grounds?
- 16:39Speaker 2: My wife would absolutely hate it.
- 16:41Speaker 6: It's funny because my wife is literally like, it's such
- 16:43Speaker 6: an interesting one because I have no jealousy.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Whatsoever of your work trip.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Yeah, she's you know, usually you'd be like, oh cool,
- 16:50Speaker 6: you get to go, and she's literally like, I don't
- 16:51Speaker 6: want a.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Bar of men. No, my wife would not. I think
- 16:54Speaker 4: she might be interested for a game or something like that.
- 16:58Speaker 4: To go along to the game, but certainly not three.
- 17:00Speaker 4: It's what's weird about.
- 17:02Speaker 2: It is the good vibe, so you go along. It's
- 17:04Speaker 2: just it's all men.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Yes, it's essentially it's like a hero parade.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It's like Mardi Gras.
- 17:12Speaker 4: It is, but for just Buckber League, and nobody's interested
- 17:16Speaker 4: in sex for some reason. It's three days of the
- 17:18Speaker 4: year where the men are uninterested in six by lads
- 17:20Speaker 4: from what I can tell.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Unless it's with an NRL player, that's right.
- 17:23Speaker 4: And you're just drinking booze, watching buckba League and hanging
- 17:27Speaker 4: out the back of the Queen of the Nile.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yes, you know what I mean. And that's it, and
- 17:31Speaker 2: the vibes are unbelieved. I didn't say.
- 17:33Speaker 4: I haven't seen one fight or any sign of trouble
- 17:36Speaker 4: and all the time, one piece of attitude.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Nothing that's so good.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Only I think my wife would be the same as
- 17:41Speaker 3: yours make. I think she'd go to one game just
- 17:43Speaker 3: for the experience and then she'd hate it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 2: The only one with a bad attitude there is Jason.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Yes, true, it's just I'm so passionate about my buck
- 17:53Speaker 3: the League. Yeah, you know, when when I see a
- 17:56Speaker 3: bad game. It just gets me fired up. Yeah, totally
- 17:59Speaker 3: me time.
- 18:00Speaker 1: He's Lincoln Park, the Hurarchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 18:05Speaker 1: on Radio Hurarchy.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yes, indeed Icky Pump there on this glorious Thursday afternoon.
- 18:10Speaker 3: But right now it's time for What's on the Telly
- 18:15Speaker 3: with Mike Minogue.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Yes, last night, Fellows, I watched a show called Gone
- 18:24Speaker 4: on three now. I think it was on three now maybe. Yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 4: that sounds about right. And it's in English, a British show,
- 18:32Speaker 4: and it's about a headmaster. He's a stern bastard. He
- 18:35Speaker 4: is David Morrissey. Possibly his name is recognizing from other things. Yes,
- 18:40Speaker 4: sort of in his mid sixties or so. Very very
- 18:42Speaker 4: good actor, very good actor. Anyway, His wife has gone missing.
- 18:49Speaker 4: She's gone Ah, hence the name. He's the name. I'm
- 18:52Speaker 4: pretty sure that's what they've done. That and the sort
- 18:56Speaker 4: of start. Obviously there's an investigation. He's a bit reluctant
- 18:58Speaker 4: to call the police in because of a lot going
- 19:00Speaker 4: on at school, et cetera, et cetera. But his adult
- 19:04Speaker 4: daughter who's about thirty five or forty or whatever.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And lives with him, so like Jason's agent about Jason's age,
- 19:09Speaker 2: she wants.
- 19:10Speaker 4: To do something about it and get the cops involved,
- 19:13Speaker 4: and eventually he says, yeah, we should, and so you
- 19:16Speaker 4: sort of that's how you start off. But what was
- 19:18Speaker 4: the most interest to me was that this was, you know,
- 19:21Speaker 4: the story of an elderly couple who were going through
- 19:25Speaker 4: it a little bit, her husband and his wife, and
- 19:27Speaker 4: then the growing up daughter who's around about you know,
- 19:29Speaker 4: your age, Jay's my age. And then as I'm watching
- 19:33Speaker 4: it there the police get involved and they ask for
- 19:36Speaker 4: the date of birth of the woman who's gone missing,
- 19:39Speaker 4: the elderly woman there, and then the husband says the
- 19:43Speaker 4: date of birth, and the year he gives is nineteen
- 19:45Speaker 4: seventy four. Right, Well, that can't be right because on
- 19:48Speaker 4: board in nineteen seventy six, and that woman as old
- 19:51Speaker 4: as hell.
- 19:54Speaker 2: It's only fifty two, she's fifty two, and that's elderly.
- 19:57Speaker 2: She looks old airs she looks like that, and she's
- 20:01Speaker 2: that age. Then that means I must look something like that.
- 20:04Speaker 2: But that's not right because I don't look like that.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I look like Jase. I look about thirty nine.
- 20:09Speaker 6: You guys both look thirty nine. Actually, to be honest,
- 20:12Speaker 6: you do. You both aged very well.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Right, so you're worried that you might be elderly.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Well, my concern is that now we're putting people that
- 20:17Speaker 4: are my age into TV shows and saying that they're old,
- 20:22Speaker 4: that they're elderly. That's that's a problem for me.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yes, do you feel elderly, no, Jase, do you feel elderly?
- 20:29Speaker 3: No? Mate, feel vigorous airs? Yeah, so a bit younger
- 20:35Speaker 3: than you though, to be trouble you are.
- 20:37Speaker 2: You're only thirty nine.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Say anyway, I'm not happy about that the show itself,
- 20:43Speaker 4: outside of the fact that it's bullshit, it's really good.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Four star, four busies so far out of a possible
- 20:51Speaker 4: five busies.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure it's three.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Now.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Can I just say that the British they just know
- 20:56Speaker 4: how to make a TV show. They make it look easy. Yes, great,
- 21:00Speaker 4: any great acting.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Great stuff fellas last night I watched on Samsung TV.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I survived to stop watching this. This is an amazing one.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Okay, what was the scenario.
- 21:15Speaker 3: It was a window cleaner and he was he'd been
- 21:19Speaker 3: he'd been sent out and to clean a window, to
- 21:22Speaker 3: clean a windows skyscraper. Well not but he he was
- 21:25Speaker 3: on a winch sort of system and he was you know,
- 21:28Speaker 3: strapped in and of course, being I survived, it snapped.
- 21:32Speaker 3: He felt like twenty meters did he onto onto like
- 21:38Speaker 3: a roof with a little steeple. It went through him,
- 21:43Speaker 3: It went through his heart. Was he impaled, went through
- 21:46Speaker 3: his chest and he went straight through his heart. No, no, no,
- 21:53Speaker 3: it did not go through It went through his heart.
- 21:56Speaker 4: And then it came and stayed on the spy, came
- 21:59Speaker 4: through the sit on top of the spik.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I was sitting on top of the spy and he
- 22:04Speaker 3: was he was like skewered, and he was going, oh,
- 22:08Speaker 3: this isn't good.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And then he said yes in his head of course,
- 22:13Speaker 2: no know whether it's good or not.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Well, just it was the vibe he was getting. And
- 22:18Speaker 3: then he was like, hang about, is that my heart
- 22:21Speaker 3: on the end of the spike. They're surely not? And
- 22:24Speaker 3: was it? Fortunately it was still connected through the ventricles
- 22:28Speaker 3: and stuff the chambers of the heart. Anyway, he was
- 22:32Speaker 3: on that spire for like eight hours.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Oh wow, before he was found. Who found him? Was
- 22:39Speaker 4: there a farmer from yesterday?
- 22:40Speaker 3: No, it wasn't a farm making it was this is
- 22:44Speaker 3: the crazy thing? Was the person this is the crazy
- 22:47Speaker 3: the person whose place it was they'd been away and
- 22:50Speaker 3: they came back from holiday and they heard the shuffling
- 22:54Speaker 3: on the roof. Who was it? It was the fellow
- 22:56Speaker 3: who had his heart pissed because they had with a
- 22:58Speaker 3: sort of spike on top of what she's doing on
- 23:01Speaker 3: the roof. Off. You know, he fell off onto the
- 23:04Speaker 3: under the spike on the roof on the roof.
- 23:07Speaker 2: What was he cleaning that was above the spike on
- 23:09Speaker 2: the roof, Well, he.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Was cleaning the windows next to the house. Off. Oh yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 3: that's so interesting.
- 23:19Speaker 1: The whole che Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 23:22Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Hold Ikey, you're welcome back. A mess of backbones. Hope
- 23:27Speaker 3: you're enjoying this beautiful Thursday afternoon. You're listening to the
- 23:31Speaker 3: Big Show, by the way, brought you by Toledo's.
- 23:34Speaker 6: From workdays to workouts, Toledos keeps you balanced, refreshed and
- 23:37Speaker 6: ready to go. Mike Toledos, We've got to talk about
- 23:44Speaker 6: your rhythm, man, Even the clapping was off rhythm.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you were clapping along, but.
- 23:50Speaker 4: I think you've got a rhythmic hearing, Kezy, is how
- 23:54Speaker 4: you've got anko hearing?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Is that a thing.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Your ears are anko. Yeah, maybe that is a thing.
- 23:59Speaker 2: It is because every time I hear Mike do any clapping,
- 24:01Speaker 2: it's always completely wrong. Have you noticed that, Jason, have
- 24:06Speaker 2: I got unco hearing?
- 24:09Speaker 3: I thought he was bang on there, but.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Really you you're siding with Mikeno. Okay, it's interesting.
- 24:17Speaker 3: The like's beautiful. The likelihood is that you've got uncohering.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It was a thing.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's any cure. It's often to do with for sinuses.
- 24:31Speaker 3: The old snools is blocked up. Control your bag it
- 24:38Speaker 3: up as well, because you've got the big motor out.
- 24:40Speaker 6: In front of you as well, and I know it's
- 24:43Speaker 6: a blocked sinus, big motor issue in the big dump
- 24:47Speaker 6: truck you're running and I don't have a I've got
- 24:51Speaker 6: a peach. I don't have a dump truck. I wish
- 24:54Speaker 6: I had a dump truck. Now listen, old serious topic
- 24:59Speaker 6: you coming up, Keezy. I know you've been on.
- 25:03Speaker 3: A lot of stress re your house and massinus.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I'm a big motor as well as Yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so's a shirt. But I've got a proposal for
- 25:15Speaker 3: you that I want to put forward to you, and
- 25:16Speaker 3: I want you to approach it with an open mind.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Okay, okay, we'll be doing that next absolutely, I'm keen.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Sounds good mate. The meantime is smashing pumpkins.
- 25:28Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 25:31Speaker 1: in four on Radio Holky.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I took monkeys there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 25:37Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon. The time is eleven minutes past five
- 25:41Speaker 3: o'clock now, Kezy, Hello, I understand you're in the process
- 25:45Speaker 3: at the moment, you're thinking about selling your house.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Man.
- 25:50Speaker 6: We've been in there for a week while. Now I
- 25:51Speaker 6: think it's time for us just to you know, take
- 25:53Speaker 6: that next step. Yeah, but we're still thinking of It's
- 25:55Speaker 6: still early days.
- 25:56Speaker 3: You know, early days, early days. What do they say,
- 25:58Speaker 3: don't they that's selling in your house is one of
- 26:01Speaker 3: the most stressful things you can do outside of death
- 26:03Speaker 3: and birth and dead and stressful dying stress. Well, not
- 26:07Speaker 3: for the person that's dead, ah, but well, I mean
- 26:11Speaker 3: it can be if you want to get into that.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I find death that would probably be a big relief
- 26:16Speaker 4: stress relief.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Indeed, no more emails exactly, yeah, emails.
- 26:21Speaker 3: But they do say that about selling your house is
- 26:23Speaker 3: that it is one of the most stressful things you
- 26:25Speaker 3: can do. And I've noticed you've been a bit stress lately,
- 26:29Speaker 3: and so.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I knew a stress eating joke was going to come
- 26:35Speaker 2: through here.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Joke. Yeah, comfort eating okay, it's comfort eating okay, and
- 26:39Speaker 3: it's dumplings, it's comfort for But this, by the bye,
- 26:43Speaker 3: I have noticed, and so's your wife.
- 26:45Speaker 6: But the thing is we're a minute into this and
- 26:49Speaker 6: you haven't got to the point yet. I want to help, oh, right,
- 26:53Speaker 6: because at the moment you're making things way worse.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I want to help you sell your house now one
- 26:57Speaker 3: of them you mean, help me eat the dumpling now,
- 26:58Speaker 3: one of the things that is quind of tricky as
- 27:02Speaker 3: getting a real estate agent.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It's not really I mean they're queuing up.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Well, yeah, they're queuing up. But who's right, who's wrong?
- 27:08Speaker 3: And what exactly? Thank you, Maggie. And what you're wanting,
- 27:11Speaker 3: obviously is top dollar, right, you want top dollar for
- 27:14Speaker 3: your house. So I would like to offer to be
- 27:18Speaker 3: your real estate agent.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And have you had experience?
- 27:21Speaker 6: You are plenty, okay, um, and you can you go
- 27:25Speaker 6: into any details there.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I want to get you top dollar because you can
- 27:29Speaker 3: just keep saying top dollar. The one thing that I'm saying,
- 27:32Speaker 3: is that you're up against it a little bit.
- 27:33Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Well, for a start, your house is in Teata two. Okay,
- 27:38Speaker 3: Now do you want to.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Drop the street as well?
- 27:41Speaker 3: You know what I mean? And you know, for people
- 27:43Speaker 3: that are not familiar with that area of Auckland City,
- 27:45Speaker 3: she's not great healthscape. It is. They do call it
- 27:49Speaker 3: the healthscape so.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Far into West Auckland. It was ridiculous.
- 27:54Speaker 3: In fact, I used to avoid turning off fear because
- 27:57Speaker 3: when I did, I would get turned off.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Its suburbs, it's horny, it's a dismal, gray place. Job
- 28:07Speaker 2: convincing me to be a real estate agent at the moment,
- 28:10Speaker 2: this is where I'm here to help keezing right.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Okay, okay, doesn't feel at the moment your house. If
- 28:15Speaker 3: you don't mind me saying, is mutton dressed as lamb?
- 28:19Speaker 3: I do?
- 28:20Speaker 4: Is that going to be the dollar mutton dressers lamb?
- 28:27Speaker 3: Okay? And what you're wanting is lamb dressed is nothing,
- 28:30Speaker 3: all right? Just lamb, beautiful, beautiful piece of lamb with
- 28:34Speaker 3: a little bit of mint sauce on it. Now with
- 28:36Speaker 3: that in mind, because I knew you'd be pretty keen
- 28:38Speaker 3: for me, to sort of take it on board. Ipe,
- 28:41Speaker 3: you don't mind. I actually got the house plans off
- 28:45Speaker 3: the council.
- 28:45Speaker 2: There you ordered a council file to my house.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so I could have a look at the plans.
- 28:51Speaker 3: First impression, Way too many walls.
- 28:55Speaker 6: Right, because it's it's I mean, it seems to have
- 28:58Speaker 6: the amount that it should.
- 28:59Speaker 2: We actually got rid of a couple.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Well, this is one of the things that you don't understand,
- 29:02Speaker 3: Keys is open plan living is all the rage at
- 29:05Speaker 3: the moment. You know your decks, your indoor outdoor flow,
- 29:08Speaker 3: your ranch sliders. So the first thing we need to
- 29:11Speaker 3: do is whack out about seven or eight of your walls,
- 29:14Speaker 3: which ones, well, we can ascertain that. But basically what
- 29:18Speaker 3: you want is to be able to go into any
- 29:19Speaker 3: space without any hindrance.
- 29:21Speaker 2: What about the toilet.
- 29:22Speaker 3: The toilet can particularly partition a petition as it stands
- 29:28Speaker 3: at the moment. It's good because of your midnight steamers, obviously,
- 29:33Speaker 3: and you want that locked in as much as possible. Yes,
- 29:36Speaker 3: I want that seeping around them.
- 29:38Speaker 6: You don't indoor outdoor fly likewise with the toilet in
- 29:41Speaker 6: your house.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Now listen, Also, people like space, they do. They want space,
- 29:48Speaker 3: They want options, and I'm thinking you're not utilizing under
- 29:52Speaker 3: your house.
- 29:55Speaker 2: It's just insulated.
- 29:56Speaker 3: It's just just a waste of space. At the moment.
- 29:58Speaker 3: You could put a little wor shop under there. You
- 30:01Speaker 3: could do whatever you want. It could be a cellar
- 30:03Speaker 3: of dungeons.
- 30:04Speaker 2: People like high ceilings.
- 30:06Speaker 3: They do.
- 30:06Speaker 4: So if you take out the walls that you take
- 30:08Speaker 4: out the floor, all you've got the highest stards totally.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Yeah, high stards. Okay, yeah, Well the problem is under
- 30:15Speaker 6: the put some down lino. Is that in a good
- 30:20Speaker 6: bit of lino will go a long way, and you
- 30:23Speaker 6: have the lino that looks like it's hardwood flooring. Yeah right, okay,
- 30:28Speaker 6: because I've currently got hardwood flooring. So you say get
- 30:30Speaker 6: rid of that, is it?
- 30:32Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, so lino. So get rid of the
- 30:35Speaker 3: floor and I know the dirt and lino the dirt.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Take some walls out now and it's just little things,
- 30:44Speaker 3: just little things like your current garage at the moment.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You've got to take the centerfolds down.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Jason, I'm not letting you do anything, mate, I don't
- 30:52Speaker 6: trust you. I don't know what you'd be like at
- 30:54Speaker 6: an open home.
- 30:55Speaker 2: We should do it. Why don't we do it. We'll
- 30:58Speaker 2: do our little role play next.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Sure, okay? Cool?
- 31:03Speaker 1: The Hodarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Tune in on Radio Hoky the Black Keys there on
- 31:10Speaker 3: the Reli Radio Hodaki Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The
- 31:17Speaker 3: time is twenty four minutes past five o'clock, which means
- 31:20Speaker 3: it's time for sounds, fae, lies, camera action. Now it's
- 31:27Speaker 3: time for the big show a pro. So the scenario
- 31:32Speaker 3: as we have it, fellers, because I've offered to be
- 31:34Speaker 3: the real estate agent for selling Keysey's house, that we
- 31:37Speaker 3: have a bit of a scenario. And in the scenario,
- 31:41Speaker 3: perhaps you guys could be a couple coming to see
- 31:44Speaker 3: a house and I'm going to be the real estate
- 31:46Speaker 3: agent selling it.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Keyzy doesn't believe that you'd be good at selling his house,
- 31:50Speaker 4: and so this would be an effort to try and disprove.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Keysy. You're going to be able to get top dollar
- 31:59Speaker 2: if you get old j.
- 32:01Speaker 6: Yeah, because my current concern is like you might be
- 32:03Speaker 6: as big as a house, but doesn't mean you can
- 32:04Speaker 6: sell one, you know. So I just I'm going to
- 32:06Speaker 6: need to see the proof in the pudding if there's
- 32:09Speaker 6: any left.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Sure man, sure, all right.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Come up here really Yeah, okay, okay, that'll do, Darling,
- 32:25Speaker 2: that'll do. I think you heard you good.
- 32:27Speaker 3: How are you going?
- 32:28Speaker 5: Hi?
- 32:28Speaker 2: Hi, my name is Mark, Mark.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Nice to see it. And you called me earlier in
- 32:33Speaker 3: the day and that was me okay.
- 32:38Speaker 2: You know, me and my partner here, just came to
- 32:39Speaker 2: have a look through the house.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Sorry, your name was Albert, Sorry about him. Nice to
- 32:43Speaker 3: meet you, el What was your name? My name Andy? Oh?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Okay, so just and.
- 32:52Speaker 3: What was your name again?
- 32:53Speaker 2: Albert?
- 32:54Speaker 3: Albert?
- 32:54Speaker 2: So that's Mark, Albert and Andy.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Well this is going really well. Thank you so much
- 33:01Speaker 3: for coming. I'm obviously you like a little look through
- 33:04Speaker 3: the house if you don't mind. Actually, could you take
- 33:07Speaker 3: your shoes off? She's pretty pristine in there. And actually
- 33:10Speaker 3: what was your name again? Sorry? Mark, you might want
- 33:13Speaker 3: to undo your belt. Bit's look, it's just not.
- 33:18Speaker 2: So you're gonna insult people as they.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Kidding me.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Oh, thanks to you. Sure, shoes off? Yeah, that'd be great, okay.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Okay, cool, Yeah, those prawn socks come in anyway, come
- 33:34Speaker 3: in as you go.
- 33:36Speaker 2: What can you tell us about the place, Well.
- 33:38Speaker 3: It's been around for about forty years now. It's in
- 33:41Speaker 3: fantastic condition. Can I ask just on that front. Are
- 33:44Speaker 3: you guys first time home buyers? What's the where are
- 33:46Speaker 3: you at?
- 33:47Speaker 4: We've got a lot of property actually, oh you do. Well,
- 33:50Speaker 4: we've got no dependence, we've got no kids, so we've
- 33:51Speaker 4: got a lot of money to splash around.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Okay, so you're looking at this as a sort of
- 33:55Speaker 3: investment property.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Sort of an investment. I'm yeah, we're sort of looking
- 33:58Speaker 4: to make as much money as we cann't honey.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Right, Well, you don't want this house. You'll lose money
- 34:02Speaker 3: on this house. Huh.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Sorry, I've just never heard Albert call me honey before.
- 34:06Speaker 4: It was.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I don't know if we need to tell him every
- 34:10Speaker 2: like all that. You know, he doesn't need to. I
- 34:12Speaker 2: don't know. There's just something about him. I just want
- 34:13Speaker 2: to open up.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Yeah, no fear, Oh you feel free. It's funny you
- 34:18Speaker 3: mentioned honey, actually because as you can spell a bit
- 34:20Speaker 3: of baking in the house home sort of.
- 34:23Speaker 2: You're baking some honey.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Well know that the homeowner's baking doing it. She baked
- 34:27Speaker 3: the cake.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah it's not still in the oven.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Well, no, it's it's out of the oven now, but
- 34:32Speaker 3: don't eat it. Have a look through here.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Why you want it all for yourself.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Well, no, it's just about dry. Can you tell us
- 34:41Speaker 3: about the owners? The owners are young couple looking please
- 34:51Speaker 3: go on, looking to get up in the world. They
- 34:53Speaker 3: got a little one on the way. Yeah, so they
- 34:56Speaker 3: just need a little bit more space.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Need some more space, do they?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, Well don't.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Don't send them up to say, don't babe.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:07Speaker 6: So in terms of the neighborhood, like, what do you
- 35:11Speaker 6: know about the neighborhood, Well, it.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Is teatitu, so you know it's not great. I'll be
- 35:16Speaker 3: honest with you. I tend to be noisy, can be
- 35:19Speaker 3: a fair amount of violence going on too.
- 35:21Speaker 2: What do they expect that in terms of dollar sort
- 35:23Speaker 2: of mid dollar?
- 35:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, look, they'll take what they can get at
- 35:27Speaker 3: this point.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Right, Okay, so they're desperate, so we go in there
- 35:30Speaker 2: and take it for dollar.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Just between you and I I think they've grossly overpriced it.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I've told them that. So if you guys were to
- 35:38Speaker 3: come in one hundred two hundred k less than what
- 35:41Speaker 3: they're offering, I'm sure that that actually be be open
- 35:43Speaker 3: to that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 2: It just seems weird because as a real estate agent,
- 35:48Speaker 2: wouldn't you be trying to get top dollar for your client.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I would, but this is a hopeless cause, right, you
- 35:54Speaker 3: know what I mean? So okay, I'm not I'm one
- 35:58Speaker 3: of those guys Albert that what was your name again?
- 36:01Speaker 3: I'll just Andy be straight up with you. Oh good,
- 36:05Speaker 3: I don't like mucking people around.
- 36:08Speaker 2: You're saying that being straight as somehow.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Oh I don't mean straight as and straight I just
- 36:13Speaker 3: mean straight up as And I'm not going to muck
- 36:15Speaker 3: you guys around. You look like a lovely couple. Thank
- 36:18Speaker 3: you very much?
- 36:19Speaker 2: In love?
- 36:20Speaker 3: Um cool?
- 36:21Speaker 2: All right, Well look I'm not interested personally. And what Albert?
- 36:26Speaker 3: Huh you're not interested in Albert?
- 36:28Speaker 4: No?
- 36:28Speaker 3: No, no, I mean you want to buy a house together?
- 36:30Speaker 2: Then very keen on, Albert. So if you could, was Andy, Andy,
- 36:35Speaker 2: you could just stay away from.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Any scene. Really good, Jason, Yeah, thank you, really good.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I'd buy that.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well you would because it's way less than what
- 36:46Speaker 3: they're asking for.
- 36:47Speaker 4: It sounds like a deal. Well we were interested to
- 36:49Speaker 4: begin with, win't we, Honey, That's why we came over.
- 36:51Speaker 2: The scene is finished.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Mogi The Hurarchy Big Show week days from four on
- 36:56Speaker 1: Radio Hurdarky is.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Indeed Harvey Danger there on the radio Kodarky Big Show,
- 37:01Speaker 3: This glorious Thursday afternoon. Now, Foundlers, I don't know if
- 37:05Speaker 3: you realize this, but the New Zealand Comedy festivals coming up?
- 37:09Speaker 3: Are youre fizzing of them?
- 37:10Speaker 2: It's in May.
- 37:11Speaker 6: Of course we have a lot to do with the
- 37:12Speaker 6: New Zealand Comedy Festival. The Billy Tea nominations. Yes, how
- 37:17Speaker 6: this works right is there are shows throughout the Comedy Festival.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I'm asking you this, Jase, because you have one. Yes,
- 37:22Speaker 2: you won the award.
- 37:23Speaker 6: Throughout the Comedy Festival. Various comedians are up for the
- 37:26Speaker 6: nomination and then one of them will get crowned the
- 37:28Speaker 6: Billy Teacher.
- 37:29Speaker 3: And it is a crown, and the extraordinary thing about
- 37:32Speaker 3: it is a person that wins it also gets a
- 37:35Speaker 3: two hundred thousand dollars cash injection.
- 37:37Speaker 2: That's right.
- 37:38Speaker 5: I don't know that's up to date.
- 37:41Speaker 2: So this guy who's in with us right now is
- 37:43Speaker 2: going to be rolling in it soon.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Yeah, totally. Kepling DC comedian. How you're going your mad bastard?
- 37:48Speaker 5: Yeah, pretty good. I just want to clarify there's no crown.
- 37:52Speaker 5: It's a towel. It's yeah, it's not as good as
- 37:55Speaker 5: it kind of what was maybe back in your day.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Back in my day, Kepler, we didn't get anything. I
- 38:02Speaker 3: didn't get my towel, and the fellows can attest to
- 38:05Speaker 3: this till twenty years after I won it. But you know,
- 38:08Speaker 3: times have changed, the comedy scenes more professional now, and
- 38:12Speaker 3: we certainly didn't get two hundred thousand dollars cash if
- 38:15Speaker 3: we won, like you young fellows do.
- 38:17Speaker 5: I mean, I'll be stoked to receive the towel, but
- 38:21Speaker 5: I'm fairly stent. I don't know if they even did
- 38:23Speaker 5: the money anymore.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Right, Okay, yeah, where have you heard that?
- 38:28Speaker 2: Jas, Because I'm pretty sure you don't get time to do.
- 38:30Speaker 3: I was doing wheeze and the toilet just before, and
- 38:32Speaker 3: I was talking to this fellow and we were talking about.
- 38:34Speaker 2: The Billy T.
- 38:34Speaker 3: James just funnily enough, Kepling, and he said, yeah, can
- 38:37Speaker 3: you believe it's two hundred thousand they win now if
- 38:40Speaker 3: they win the Billy Tees. But I imagine, Kipling, that's
- 38:42Speaker 3: not why you want to win the Billy Tea. But
- 38:45Speaker 3: you want to win the Billy t because Billy T.
- 38:47Speaker 3: James went to your school and it would just be
- 38:49Speaker 3: a great feather in your cap, wouldn't it.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I mean that would be that would be the main
- 38:53Speaker 5: sort of idea. I mean, I don't know if I'm
- 38:55Speaker 5: doing it just because of the school thing either like
- 38:59Speaker 5: got a comedy, like there's other stuff LinkedIn. I'm trying
- 39:02Speaker 5: to make this my job. There's not just either a
- 39:05Speaker 5: money incentive or just like a pride of funga day
- 39:08Speaker 5: boys high school thing.
- 39:10Speaker 3: So are you saying then that you want to do
- 39:11Speaker 3: stand up comedy but you don't want to be paid
- 39:13Speaker 3: for it.
- 39:15Speaker 5: I would like to be paid at some stage at Kepling.
- 39:19Speaker 3: How long have you been doing the old stand up
- 39:21Speaker 3: for mate?
- 39:21Speaker 5: I've been doing stand up about the twenty twenty, so,
- 39:24Speaker 5: like six years or so.
- 39:26Speaker 3: If this isn't too personal a question.
- 39:28Speaker 5: How old are you twenty seven twenty.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Saturday Aksa you started twenty one ish?
- 39:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeahst Egg right before we went into lockdown.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I see in your blube that you like a bit
- 39:39Speaker 3: of crowd work. Now you don't know this, but our
- 39:43Speaker 3: mate here, Mike Minogue, we call him crowd work mogie.
- 39:47Speaker 3: That's right, because he specializes in crowd work. Oh wow.
- 39:51Speaker 4: A couple of years ago we were forced into do
- 39:53Speaker 4: it because radio headache. He supports the New Zealand Comedy Festival.
- 39:57Speaker 4: That means that we come into the office and each
- 40:00Speaker 4: year they'll say, oh, you guys are going to do
- 40:02Speaker 4: some stand up or you guys are going to do
- 40:04Speaker 4: a live show, even though we don't want him does.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Usually they've talked to me about a time and I've said, yeah, yes.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Yeah, me and Jason want to do it, but we
- 40:10Speaker 4: get forced into it. So we had to do a
- 40:12Speaker 4: stand up one year, and rather than having to spend
- 40:14Speaker 4: time learning something that I would then forget, I just
- 40:16Speaker 4: decided that I would just do crowd work because it's
- 40:19Speaker 4: a lazy man's comedy, isn't it, As you well know.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's easily by far the light work
- 40:25Speaker 5: of my job going in there and I just just
- 40:27Speaker 5: go and make it.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Up, just drag him probably like the picked.
- 40:33Speaker 5: And you know, like late in the day, everyone's off
- 40:37Speaker 5: the face. It's the right time, it's the right moment.
- 40:39Speaker 6: Comedian Kippling DC. What is the key to good crowd work?
- 40:44Speaker 6: Eye contact. There's a strong start connecting with your with
- 40:48Speaker 6: your audience, repeating what they say back to you.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that gives you time to think about what
- 40:55Speaker 4: you're going to say next. That's a classic Jimmy Carr sort.
- 40:58Speaker 5: Of exactly because oftentimes you don't have anything funny to say,
- 41:02Speaker 5: and so you can just say the funny thing that
- 41:04Speaker 5: they see it and claim it was yours. Most of
- 41:08Speaker 5: my audience has actually done the nomination, you know, billity
- 41:12Speaker 5: work for me to get here.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Yeah, right, So you're doing crowd work. So hey, I'm
- 41:16Speaker 6: kepling DC. What do you do for a job, sir?
- 41:19Speaker 6: And then he says I'm a builder. Do you then
- 41:20Speaker 6: say I'm a builder?
- 41:22Speaker 5: I'm and then everyone's like no, he's not.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Bob.
- 41:29Speaker 6: Yeah right, and then you cut that off. That on Instagram, Yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 6: boom thirty.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Likes absolutely messive, huge numbers.
- 41:35Speaker 3: It's going well. Now listen, Kathling, are you doing a
- 41:38Speaker 3: show on the Comedy Official will? Obviously whereabouts? And for
- 41:42Speaker 3: one of the dates.
- 41:44Speaker 5: In Wellington, I'm at Bett's Theater.
- 41:47Speaker 3: One of the great institution down on Welliam.
- 41:52Speaker 5: But I believe that's from the twelfth to the sixteenth
- 41:54Speaker 5: of May. And next week after that I'm in Auckland
- 41:57Speaker 5: at the Old Basement. No no, another another institution as
- 42:03Speaker 5: nineteenth to the twenty third.
- 42:04Speaker 6: Yeah, Okay, well what we might do Jason, that's all good.
- 42:06Speaker 6: We'll go to another tune and then I wouldn't mind
- 42:09Speaker 6: just grilling Kipling a little bit more after that, if
- 42:10Speaker 6: that's all right, sure, man, the Raconteurs Okay.
- 42:14Speaker 1: The Hohdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Tune in on Radio Hocky Raconteurs. Here on the Radio
- 42:22Speaker 3: Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday evening. We've got comedian Kipling
- 42:27Speaker 3: d C in the studio with us. He's also a
- 42:30Speaker 3: Billy T. James nominee and he's going to be featuring
- 42:33Speaker 3: in this year's Comedy Festival. Kipling, tell us a little
- 42:37Speaker 3: bit about your show, because I'll be honest with you,
- 42:39Speaker 3: I've never heard of you.
- 42:41Speaker 5: That's that's fear. My show is called Scucks Cowboys Get
- 42:45Speaker 5: Lonely sometimes too, yes, sort of. Just it's a bit
- 42:48Speaker 5: of a narrative of my life really as someone who
- 42:52Speaker 5: I've recently become a Scucks cowboy, right, okay, as a
- 42:55Speaker 5: new role. You know, I was formerly a comms advisor
- 42:58Speaker 5: for the education with your office are now. Yeah, it's
- 43:02Speaker 5: quite been quite an easy transition. Honestly, have a horse. No,
- 43:06Speaker 5: I'll be honest, that part has been quite a hard assets.
- 43:09Speaker 2: A Lime scooter agoist, is that there?
- 43:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 43:11Speaker 5: I mean we've just got Lime and Wellington actually so yeah,
- 43:15Speaker 5: it's a good you know, things are on the.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Hey, have you got a hat?
- 43:23Speaker 2: I do ever have?
- 43:24Speaker 5: I don't have here, which in hindsight should have worn that.
- 43:27Speaker 4: It must be amazing down and Wellington's seen so many
- 43:30Speaker 4: crackheadicts on Lime scooters. Is that something to behold?
- 43:33Speaker 3: It is?
- 43:33Speaker 5: It's truly well because they've removed the fence from the
- 43:35Speaker 5: waterfront now so you're able just to go straight out.
- 43:39Speaker 5: I could splash then.
- 43:40Speaker 6: Just just quickly with comedian Kipling DC with us, what
- 43:44Speaker 6: what does the word skucks mean to you?
- 43:45Speaker 2: Kipling?
- 43:46Speaker 6: Because that's a word that I've been throwing around for
- 43:47Speaker 6: twenty odd years now, and it's sort of to me,
- 43:49Speaker 6: it's just like kind of cool, you know, Jenny with
- 43:52Speaker 6: the ladies or whatever.
- 43:53Speaker 5: Been a lot of looking and yeah, a lot of
- 43:54Speaker 5: looking into the details of this, and I think best
- 43:57Speaker 5: to think just Dane rumble, Yeah, when you were here
- 44:00Speaker 5: and he's pretty skusk and you go, I get it.
- 44:02Speaker 5: I understand now what that is.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Especially the transition from fast crew Dane rumble into solo
- 44:07Speaker 6: like he was scuts the whole way.
- 44:09Speaker 5: It's a massive chain, but he managed to handle it
- 44:10Speaker 5: and which was very scus but also being quite good
- 44:13Speaker 5: with the ladies. I think it's right.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Oh wow, come on, Jason married man. I'm like you.
- 44:20Speaker 6: I don't often have a fears all right, sure man,
- 44:22Speaker 6: Hey Kepler, are you good with the ladies?
- 44:24Speaker 5: I've just got the one at the moment, but just.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Got the one like your own.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I mean the paperwork still in motion of yeah, but
- 44:32Speaker 5: she's she's all right?
- 44:34Speaker 3: Are planning more than one? Is that what you're saying.
- 44:36Speaker 5: At the moment? Just the one at the It's quite
- 44:38Speaker 5: hard to manage, and I've not got that capability.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I think for you, you've been sitching high and low
- 44:45Speaker 4: for another option.
- 44:46Speaker 5: I mean, the thing is is that she's pretty. She's
- 44:48Speaker 5: actually a former Miss Team New Zealand. Sure, yeah, I
- 44:54Speaker 5: used to be a teenager, used to be a teenager.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Can I just say, can I give you some advice
- 45:00Speaker 3: as an old comedian to a young fellow, an up
- 45:03Speaker 3: and coming star. Absolutely, you know you've got to be
- 45:05Speaker 3: careful of that sort of stuff. Mate, Old hardy j
- 45:08Speaker 3: Back in the day, you know, there were the groupies,
- 45:11Speaker 3: there were orgies, you know, you and Bibe a few things.
- 45:14Speaker 3: You get drunk on your own sort of fame and
- 45:18Speaker 3: you lose all touch with reality. You know, I had,
- 45:22Speaker 3: you know, I was running seven or eight girlfriends at
- 45:24Speaker 3: the same time, and it became a logistical nightmare.
- 45:29Speaker 5: More of your time, will you spend more of.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Your time making love? And you know, going from one
- 45:33Speaker 3: place to the other, And my comedy as a result
- 45:37Speaker 3: went downhill.
- 45:37Speaker 2: After that, it was still waiting for it to come back.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Do you find that you're being too like, not selfish
- 45:43Speaker 5: enough as a lover in that when you're managing just
- 45:45Speaker 5: seven of them, you're not focused enough on yourself or you.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Just oh well, this is the thing I'm agether when
- 45:52Speaker 3: it comes to the love making, the most important thing
- 45:54Speaker 3: to me is my partner's pleasure. So yeah, look it
- 45:58Speaker 3: just sucked the juice out of me. Yes, literally, Kipling
- 46:05Speaker 3: d C.
- 46:05Speaker 6: You've got a show coming up in the New Zealand
- 46:08Speaker 6: Comedy Festival. Man, how many full blown hour long show specials?
- 46:12Speaker 3: If you go together?
- 46:12Speaker 5: This is actually only my second go at it, and
- 46:15Speaker 5: how'd the first one go?
- 46:17Speaker 3: Fine? It was?
- 46:18Speaker 5: My first show was called big Dog, which is what
- 46:21Speaker 5: I mean. You guys obviously know me as comedian Kipling DC,
- 46:24Speaker 5: but most people actually in my private life do you
- 46:26Speaker 5: call me the big Dog?
- 46:29Speaker 3: Yeah? Right?
- 46:30Speaker 2: And so have you taken a lot of learnings from
- 46:32Speaker 2: that first one for this new one?
- 46:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I've made it bitter, which was a key kind
- 46:36Speaker 5: of I managed. I'm trying to get more audience in
- 46:38Speaker 5: this time. Yeah, because it's hard when you do a
- 46:43Speaker 5: show like a crowd work style show and nobody there.
- 46:49Speaker 5: We've got one of those cactuses that you know for
- 46:51Speaker 5: kids that you speak into and then they kind of
- 46:53Speaker 5: mind second you, and that managed to save the show
- 46:57Speaker 5: a little bit good.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that blends into the cowboys.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Don't ever say learnings again on the show, Kesy what
- 47:03Speaker 3: your cactuses or cats? Sorry? Sorry guys, two massive faux
- 47:08Speaker 3: pas on live radio.
- 47:09Speaker 2: There learnings and cactuses cacti, isn't it yea?

- 48:21Speaker 3: The time is four minutes to six o'clock.
- 48:23Speaker 6: Hey, fellas, next Wednesday or Wednesday after? Is next Wednesday,
- 48:27Speaker 6: the coming Wednesday?
- 48:28Speaker 2: This is coming Wednesday.
- 48:30Speaker 3: So this coming Wednesday is the coming wedding Wednesday.
- 48:34Speaker 2: What's the Wednesday after that? Wednesday after next? So Wednesday
- 48:38Speaker 2: two weeks for Wednesday week, Wednesday week or a fortnight
- 48:42Speaker 2: from yesterday, fortnite from yesterday.
- 48:44Speaker 6: That's better, actually, Murgan, that's good. That's the least confusing. Wednesday,
- 48:48Speaker 6: the twenty second of April. I'll just say that the
- 48:50Speaker 6: big show's heading down to Dunedin to the legendary Emerson's Brewery.
- 48:54Speaker 6: We've had a show from there before. It was bloody awesome,
- 48:57Speaker 6: one of my favorite live shows we've ever done. It's
- 48:59Speaker 6: to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Emerson's Hazy IPA,
- 49:02Speaker 6: Hazed and Confused four pm till seven at Emerson's down
- 49:06Speaker 6: in Dunedin, Wednesday, the twenty second of April.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Put it on your calendars. We want to see there.
- 49:11Speaker 3: And get in there early, by the way, because as
- 49:13Speaker 3: we said yesterday, last time it filled up real quick. Yeah,
- 49:16Speaker 3: and that people couldn't get in.
- 49:18Speaker 2: They couldn't get in the first one hundred through the door.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Free backbone shit totally.
- 49:23Speaker 4: I remember last time we were there, Jose, we went
- 49:25Speaker 4: outside and we smoked a few darts. It was back
- 49:27Speaker 4: in our smoking days. Yeah, man, you remember that.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Something.
- 49:32Speaker 2: What an amazing memory.
- 49:34Speaker 3: There's a big sort of Uni Tech where I live now,
- 49:37Speaker 3: and I go down to the sort of local Kland
- 49:40Speaker 3: university or not university. It's like a uni tech separate
- 49:44Speaker 3: from the university. And there's like fifty students out in
- 49:49Speaker 3: the corner there, all smoking Darries.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Sit back on the darts man, and I'm like, well,
- 49:53Speaker 4: Vapian's aren't cool, Jason, Yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 3: But that's fine, that's great. But how do they afford it? Yeah?
- 50:00Speaker 3: It's the students, man, how do you afford durries? I
- 50:04Speaker 3: can't afford duries.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Just put on your student loan, that's true.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I suppose.
- 50:08Speaker 2: So you just go into the Corse related cost and
- 50:10Speaker 2: you say, what do you need it for? When you
- 50:11Speaker 2: say durries, yes, oh fair enough, here you go.
- 50:13Speaker 3: And that's a great thing about a student loan because
- 50:15Speaker 3: it feels like you don't even have to pay it back. Yeah,
- 50:18Speaker 3: it does. And then it just blows out to like
- 50:21Speaker 3: eight hundred thousand dollars when you're about thirty. Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 2: I really enjoyed that.
- 50:24Speaker 6: Hey are you coming up after six? Use Jason's keen
- 50:28Speaker 6: to bring back soup chat jump fizzed Up for I
- 50:32Speaker 6: Can't Wait.

- 51:08Speaker 6: It's not can't just be my own co ear is
- 51:10Speaker 6: He's clapping way out of change.
- 51:12Speaker 2: The clapping that is all good, it's.
- 51:16Speaker 3: But you'll get there. You'll get there. The tapping. I
- 51:18Speaker 3: actually go from his clapping to get my timing right.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Right, rather than on the Toledo's song. Yes, yeah, right,
- 51:25Speaker 2: I'm pretty true with my rhythm.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Hey, what are you guys having for dinner tonight?
- 51:29Speaker 3: Man? It's a great question.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Because I am having pasta sauce that my wife found
- 51:35Speaker 6: in the pantry and a preserved.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Jar, a preserved jar, like a preserving jar. I made
- 51:40Speaker 2: it in a preserving jar what years.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Ago, and it wasn't refrigerated or.
- 51:45Speaker 2: No, it was in a preserving jar.
- 51:46Speaker 4: It's been preserved, so it doesn't need to be.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Apparently it's ear tight. We're having that for dinner?
- 51:53Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, that is so disappointing.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Where are you eating out tonight, Jason?
- 51:58Speaker 3: Now, we're not eating out. Actually, my wife's cooking tonight.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Oh god, why do you have that look on your face?
- 52:05Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 52:06Speaker 2: Is that look of disgust usual when this food mentioned?
- 52:09Speaker 3: You're all over? Excuse me? Yeah? I love my wife's cooking.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Why are your fingers crossed?
- 52:15Speaker 4: And what?
- 52:16Speaker 3: Kesey?
- 52:17Speaker 2: Huh?
- 52:17Speaker 3: And our dinner party? Did you enjoy the meal?
- 52:20Speaker 2: I did?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Yes, there you go.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I certainly noticed Mogie was enjoying it. I did. I
- 52:24Speaker 2: thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 52:25Speaker 4: In fact, I was the only one that got an
- 52:26Speaker 4: opportunity to go back for seconds before Jay's threw it
- 52:29Speaker 4: all in the bin.
- 52:30Speaker 6: That's right, I love Jason's wife saying now I don't
- 52:34Speaker 6: want to see any food left up there, and thirty
- 52:37Speaker 6: seconds later, Jason's clearing the plates.
- 52:38Speaker 2: That's right, clear that checked down the bin. She got it, wish.
- 52:41Speaker 3: I was worried about Kezy were going for a third
- 52:45Speaker 3: and fourth.
- 52:46Speaker 6: I hadn't even had a chance to have my second,
- 52:49Speaker 6: and it was delicious. Meat balls on the bread which
- 52:52Speaker 6: I brought. I can't believe we're talking about this again anyway.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't actually know what I'm having for dinner though, keesy,
- 52:56Speaker 3: but my wife did say I thought you bought cheese
- 52:59Speaker 3: the other day and I hadn't, and so now she's
- 53:01Speaker 3: getting cheese. So it's something with cheese in it. A

- 54:16Speaker 6: What's on the news with me, Gez.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Fellaws.
- 54:23Speaker 6: Interesting stuff happening over in Australia. A town named Kuladie.
- 54:28Speaker 6: The entire town is on the market purchase one real
- 54:32Speaker 6: estate purchase of four hundred thousand, so just under five
- 54:35Speaker 6: for New Zealand.
- 54:36Speaker 2: I'm guessing tell me dream ah classic the Castle. It's
- 54:40Speaker 2: a movie Jason.
- 54:42Speaker 6: So the entire town is for sale for less than
- 54:45Speaker 6: half a million New Zealand.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 54:47Speaker 6: The town has a current population of two two.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Ladies and they've been running it for a few years.
- 54:53Speaker 3: But you run the local play pique my interest.
- 54:56Speaker 2: No, the ladies won't be there, and you guys are
- 54:59Speaker 2: marry and half a mil for no ladies. No, but
- 55:03Speaker 2: you get a town and it comes with its own
- 55:05Speaker 2: railway station and stop, it comes with the parbatation and
- 55:09Speaker 2: stop a railway stop a station, yes, little station. Yeah,
- 55:15Speaker 2: they start and stop. Yes, well you know you're the
- 55:18Speaker 2: train yeah yeah.
- 55:20Speaker 6: And it comes with a motel as well. With a
- 55:22Speaker 6: few bids, you get, you get the motel. The whole
- 55:24Speaker 6: thing is included, the whole boodle. And not only that,
- 55:28Speaker 6: it's one of the smallest towns in Australia. It's eight
- 55:30Speaker 6: hundred kilometers west of Brisbane. It's about an eight hour
- 55:32Speaker 6: drive to Brizee, nine hours. But it has its own
- 55:35Speaker 6: postcode because it's got its own little post shop there
- 55:37Speaker 6: as well. Nice, and it technically qualifies as a town.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 55:41Speaker 2: The ladies are moving out.
- 55:43Speaker 6: Because they one of them is like in his seventies
- 55:46Speaker 6: and doesn't want to run it anymore. Right, run the town.
- 55:49Speaker 3: So you're saying we should buy it?
- 55:51Speaker 6: Maybe, I mean, we could put our funds together and
- 55:53Speaker 6: buy a town. Wouldn't that be cooled?
- 55:55Speaker 3: Let me guess the first thing you'd put in Kezy
- 55:58Speaker 3: a food hall. It already.
- 56:02Speaker 2: It already has a pub Jase, Yeah.
- 56:05Speaker 3: But it's not a food all Why why do I

- 56:28Speaker 4: who's running the pub?
- 56:29Speaker 3: Me?
- 56:30Speaker 6: Yeah, so you're buying a pub, but you're also getting
- 56:33Speaker 6: a whole town and end.
- 56:34Speaker 2: I'm running the railway station and I'm running the post.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest. The railway station is a shack
- 56:38Speaker 2: next to the train line, which I don't think runs
- 56:40Speaker 2: very often.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Does the pub have booze in it?
- 56:42Speaker 2: Nah, of course it does. Jase, come on, Okay, so
- 56:46Speaker 2: who bought that?
- 56:48Speaker 3: Well that.

- 56:52Speaker 2: how that. I don't know that works.
- 56:53Speaker 3: How did two ladies? Yeah, train station, a pub, a
- 57:00Speaker 3: hotel and a food hall.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Well so two dudes could have done it, But you're
- 57:04Speaker 2: questioning why two ladies.
- 57:05Speaker 3: Castand yeah, Tom, what's the name of this place? Is cool?
- 57:11Speaker 2: Lady? Cool Laddie co l A D D E.
- 57:15Speaker 3: I How much foot traffic is there?

- 57:21Speaker 6: but cars driving Apparently every night people are stopping in
- 57:23Speaker 6: on their way to this other town, and so they
- 57:25Speaker 6: always stop in and have a chin wag. Maybe start
- 57:27Speaker 6: at the old Cool Laddy Motel, Cool Lady, the Cool
- 57:31Speaker 6: Lady Motel.
- 57:32Speaker 4: It's got a ring to it, then does and jas?

- 59:09Speaker 4: So now, of course I've left it so long that
- 59:12Speaker 4: I started getting a toothache. Can I say it's a
- 59:14Speaker 4: really good name for it, toothache because it's aching, because aches,
- 59:18Speaker 4: it does.
- 59:19Speaker 3: And it's one of those pains that just is there
- 59:22Speaker 3: all the time. It is.

- 59:28Speaker 4: get up and have a panadole. A panandole, just one,
- 59:33Speaker 4: just the one. I'm trying to keep it down to
- 59:36Speaker 4: just the one. Sure, and it seems to be working.

- 59:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 59:45Speaker 2: Are you sure? It's not a tooth in fiction?
- 59:48Speaker 4: It's not a tooth infiction. It's a tooth that I
- 59:50Speaker 4: had some issues with probably eight years ago, and I've
- 59:54Speaker 4: done some work on it, and now I don't know.
- 59:56Speaker 4: I'm worried about it, yes, because I get the feeling.
- 59:59Speaker 4: I'd hate for it to be pulled out, But I
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: get the feeling that might be the road with Agan
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: down keys for you to have a sniff.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: I would never have guessed, sorry you hang on, Mogi.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I would never have guessed that you've got a toothache,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: given the amount of food you just shoving down your

- 1:00:24Speaker 4: is why I eat so much in the studio, Yes,
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: because I hate it here.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Just to let you know, just by the bye, Mogi's
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: had four dinners since he's been here today. That's about average.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: You'd think that the tooth would slam down a bit,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: you would.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: Doesn't it doesn't. You just have to have enough painkillers. Yes,
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: So I'm going to the dentist tomorrow morning. Dennis, Yeah,
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: Dennis or Dennis a quarter past eight in the morning,
