- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? It's Romeo. What have we got
- 0:01Speaker 1: into today? We talked a little bit about Monday Night
- 0:03Speaker 1: Football over at Just Ween at the Marketplace, and then
- 0:06Speaker 1: about supporting your spouse, your loved ones. You should always
- 0:09Speaker 1: take the opportunity to support.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Them, right?
- 0:12Speaker 1: So, corndogs, right? We were talking about corndogs when they
- 0:15Speaker 1: were invented in 1941, apparently. And a guy called me,
- 0:20Speaker 1: or texted me, and he said that his wife put
- 0:21Speaker 1: ketchup on a corndog. Ketchup did not go on a corndog, okay?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Ketchup only goes on about four things. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I grew up putting ketchup on my enchiladas. I did
- 0:35Speaker 1: it as an adult years back, and I don't know
- 0:37Speaker 1: what I was thinking. It was the worst thing ever,
- 0:40Speaker 1: but it just didn't taste the same as when I
- 0:42Speaker 1: was a kid. Well, that's kind of the thing, right?
- 0:44Speaker 1: When you're a kid, kids are stupid, right? We were
- 0:47Speaker 1: stupid when we were kids, so we ate stuff that
- 0:49Speaker 1: was stupid, all right? It was like these kids that
- 0:52Speaker 1: mix all the drinks. Remember, you mixed all the drinks together,
- 0:55Speaker 1: made a suicide or whatever it's called. That's disgusting. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7, Rome.
- 1:01Speaker 1: My best friend would eat wings with ketchup. So gross.
- 1:05Speaker 1: As a dipping sauce. That is terrible. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 1:12Speaker 1: I worked in the restaurant business for 10 years. I've
- 1:14Speaker 1: seen people put ketchup on steak and mustard on hash browns. Oh,
- 1:18Speaker 1: it's disgusting. That is disgusting.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Good morning, Bob.
- 1:21Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 1:23Speaker 3: Hey, talking about ketchup?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah, what up, man?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Me and my sister as kids, we put ketchup on
- 1:29Speaker 2: our peas. Oh, God.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Peas are disgusting. Can I just say, well, hold on,
- 1:34Speaker 1: real quick.
- 1:34Speaker 4: They are disgusting.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Real quick.
- 1:35Speaker 3: But we had a cleaner plate.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Any parent that makes their kids eat peas is a
- 1:40Speaker 1: despicable parent. I'm sorry. There's a lot of other green
- 1:42Speaker 1: vegetables that you can eat that are better than peas.
- 1:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:46Speaker 2: But they go down better with ketchup. Oh, fuck. My dad,
- 1:49Speaker 2: he was an Okie, and he would make Miracle Whip sandwiches.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Miracle Whip sandwiches.
- 1:56Speaker 5: I don't know if that's a poor thing.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it is a poor thing. Miracle Whip was a
- 2:00Speaker 1: poor thing because when we lived on the reservation, we
- 2:02Speaker 1: were poor. And Miracle Whip, a lot of people had
- 2:06Speaker 1: Miracle Whip. Yeah. That's just disgusting. Oh, man, I feel
- 2:11Speaker 1: bad for you and your childhood. All right. All right.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Bye.
- 2:16Speaker 1: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7-Rome. Ketchup on ice cream tastes really good. Or make
- 2:21Speaker 1: a milkshake with ketchup on top as a topping. Now
- 2:24Speaker 1: you guys are just... Now you're just being stupid. Now
- 2:29Speaker 1: you're just being stupid. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Good morning. What's going on?
- 2:32Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 2:35Speaker 6: Nothing much.
- 2:36Speaker 5: So, ketchup.
- 2:38Speaker 6: I don't like ketchup at all. But when my grandpa
- 2:41Speaker 6: was alive, he would put ketchup... On his refried beans.
- 2:46Speaker 4: And eat them.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Refried beans and eat them?
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yes, with ketchup.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Oh, that's terrible. That's horrible.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Right?
- 2:56Speaker 7: But I think it's.
- 2:57Speaker 6: Because, like, they were saying, like, some part of Texas,
- 3:00Speaker 6: you know, they eat the ketchup on the tamale, and
- 3:02Speaker 6: I think that's what, where, like, why he did it.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Why? But why?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Why do they do that in some parts of Texas?
- 3:11Speaker 1: What is the... I have no idea.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:15Speaker 8: I mean.
- 3:15Speaker 9: But it's true.
- 3:16Speaker 1: That's why nobody likes Texas. Texas is stupid. Texas is
- 3:21Speaker 1: overhyped in a joke. All right. All right. I mean,
- 3:25Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. All right, 814-547-7. I have one more
- 3:30Speaker 1: reason not to like Texas. Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 3:33Speaker 4: Hi, Ron.
- 3:34Speaker 7: I have something to tell you. So when I was younger,
- 3:37Speaker 7: I would eat ketchup on my fried potatoes. But when
- 3:40Speaker 7: I got with my husband, he would eat mustard on
- 3:44Speaker 7: his fried potatoes.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You mean like fried potatoes, like for breakfast potatoes?
- 3:50Speaker 7: Yeah, like breakfast potatoes. Or like if you have like
- 3:53Speaker 7: pork chops and fried potatoes for dinner. So even to
- 3:56Speaker 7: this day, my husband puts mustard on his fried potatoes.
- 4:00Speaker 7: And he would eat mustard on crackers, you know, like
- 4:04Speaker 7: the regular saltine crackers.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I'm glad you grew out of it
- 4:08Speaker 1: because he's an idiot.
- 4:10Speaker 9: But okay.
- 4:12Speaker 1: We used to put butter on saltine crackers. We used
- 4:18Speaker 1: to eat, yeah, we used to, God, we used to
- 4:21Speaker 1: do that when we were kids. We would just put
- 4:22Speaker 1: straight butter on saltine crackers. It was the weirdest thing ever. Yo, Rome,
- 4:26Speaker 1: my ex would eat her chicken sandwich with ketchup. That
- 4:29Speaker 1: was gross. That is gross. Hey, Rome, you should try
- 4:33Speaker 1: ketchup on pizza. No, I'm not going to try. That
- 4:35Speaker 1: just sounds disgusting, is disgusting. Ketchup goes in shrimp cocktail.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Ketchup goes in shrimp cocktail. Okay. As an ingredient for
- 4:49Speaker 1: cocktail sauce? Or do you put ketchup on the shrimp cocktail?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Ketchup can be used as an ingredient in something else
- 4:58Speaker 1: to make another sauce.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But, no.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, I can't stand it when people put ketchup
- 5:04Speaker 1: on tamale. I know, it's so disgusting. What is going
- 5:07Speaker 1: on in certain parts of Texas where they're putting ketchup
- 5:10Speaker 1: on tamales? the hell's going on there? Hey, Rome. Ketchup.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Let's see. Ketchup on Doritos is also... No, you're an idiot. Yo, Rome.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I had ketchup on my breakfast burrito. No, that's just.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Why?
- 5:27Speaker 1: That's what salsa's for. You guys are morons. I mean,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you guys are either saying stupid stuff to mess with me,
- 5:34Speaker 1: or you literally have the worst taste in food possible.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I was funny. I was at a And I was
- 5:45Speaker 1: listening to these couples, these two couples behind me, talking
- 5:48Speaker 1: about some of the best places to eat. They didn't
- 5:50Speaker 1: really care for the restaurant that I was at, that
- 5:52Speaker 1: we were all at at that time. And it amazes
- 5:55Speaker 1: me how many of you out there do not know
- 5:58Speaker 1: what good food is. You are, you have no idea.
- 6:01Speaker 1: They were talking about these restaurants in Bakersfield, and I'm like, oh, no,
- 6:05Speaker 1: this is, it was just terrible food. And I know
- 6:08Speaker 1: why they liked it, but it was just terrible. It
- 6:10Speaker 1: amazes me what you guys think about Bakersfield. in general,
- 6:15Speaker 1: has some really good food. And especially some of these
- 6:20Speaker 1: new restaurants are good. But you people's taste buds are
- 6:24Speaker 1: just god-awful. You have no idea. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7, what's going on? Hey,
- 6:29Speaker 1: what up, Rome?
- 6:30Speaker 5: You're still talking about the ketchup stuff?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah, what up?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Have you ever had ketchup with fish sticks and rice?
- 6:40Speaker 1: Catched up. Oh, I've had ketchup. I've had ketchup with
- 6:43Speaker 1: fish sticks, yes.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good, right?
- 6:47Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I was a stupid kid. What do I know then
- 6:50Speaker 1: when I was eating fish sticks? I was probably like
- 6:52Speaker 1: nine or eight.
- 6:54Speaker 8: What the hell?
- 6:55Speaker 1: You don't eat it like that no more? Why would
- 6:58Speaker 1: I eat a fish stick today? I'm a grown adult.
- 7:02Speaker 7: Because it's good.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Just because you're a grown adult doesn't mean it's not good.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Is that a delicacy in Wasco?
- 7:10Speaker 2: It's a delicacy in my house.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I love that. I can't with you.
- 7:16Speaker 1: A frozen freaking fish stick. Is you eat that as
- 7:19Speaker 1: an adult? No, I put it in the air fryer.
- 7:23Speaker 1: They're still frozen.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Well, they were frozen at a time, but that's so
- 7:28Speaker 5: delicious with some rice on the side and ketchup on
- 7:31Speaker 5: the rice, too.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh, see how clear it is. This is delicious, brother.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Stop calling. That's why you belong in Wasco. Just stay there.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Stay in your little hole of a city.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Of a delicacy.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, get out.
- 7:43Speaker 3: God.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Who eats fish sticks as an adult? R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. And I've
- 7:52Speaker 1: known people that put ketchup on rice, and that's disgusting, too.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Ketchup goes on, like, four things, and that's it.
- 7:58Speaker 2: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7-7.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Uh, would you send me here? Uh, Hey Rome, my
- 8:06Speaker 1: boy John here says ketchup goes on rice is the best.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That's what I just want you to know. Whoever just
- 8:14Speaker 1: texted me that your boy, John agrees with Seahawk Lou.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You might want to, you might want to start a
- 8:22Speaker 1: reevaluate who you're hanging out with. I'm just saying everyone
- 8:26Speaker 1: ketchup goes with chicken nuggets and seafood cocktails. Ketchup does
- 8:33Speaker 1: not go with chicken nuggets.
- 8:34Speaker 3: You guys are.
- 8:36Speaker 9: Wow.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Got a bunch of four-year-olds calling in. Or at least
- 8:39Speaker 1: you eat like a four-year-old. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Rome, when I was
- 8:44Speaker 1: a kid, I used to eat those fried burritos from
- 8:47Speaker 1: a burger stand with ketchup until I discovered the taco
- 8:50Speaker 1: sauce packets. Never went back since. Please forgive me. You know,
- 8:54Speaker 1: when you're a kid, you eat stupid things. You know,
- 8:57Speaker 1: when I was a kid, we used to eat... We
- 9:00Speaker 1: used to take flour tortillas... government cheese, and sliced ham,
- 9:03Speaker 1: packaged ham from Costco, wrap it up, and put it
- 9:07Speaker 1: in the microwave. You eat stupid things when you're a kid.
- 9:09Speaker 1: The problem is, if you're still doing it as an adult...
- 9:12Speaker 1: Good morning, now. What's going on?
- 9:13Speaker 5: What's up, Rome?
- 9:14Speaker 2: Hey, so I used to work in the oil fields
- 9:15Speaker 2: when I was a kid. I was like 19. And
- 9:18Speaker 2: that kid would come with his lunch, and I'm telling you,
- 9:21Speaker 2: he would have a Tupperware full of ketchup, and everything
- 9:24Speaker 2: he had in that lunch pail, he would eat with
- 9:26Speaker 2: the ketchup. It was chicken, crackers, I don't care what
- 9:29Speaker 2: it was. And I would look at that kid like...
- 9:31Speaker 2: Did your mom seriously pack ketchup in a tupperware? He's like, oh, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 2: I eat ketchup with everything. It could be canned chicken,
- 9:37Speaker 2: you know, chunked chicken, anything he brought, he would dip
- 9:41Speaker 2: it in ketchup.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Bro, his mom must be a horrible cook.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Oh, that's awful. That's awful.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I just wanted to share that with you, man. I
- 9:49Speaker 2: was like, man, when you talk about ketchup, the first
- 9:51Speaker 2: thing that came to my mind was that kid.
- 9:52Speaker 1: That's hilarious. I wonder where that kid is now. That's funny.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Actually, that kid now is actually the welder, and he's
- 9:59Speaker 2: doing it. But, yeah, he probably still eats ketchup. All right, man.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Good morning, Don.
- 10:07Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 10:08Speaker 4: Hey, what's up, Romeo? I'm just hearing your little ketchup.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
- 10:14Speaker 5: Let me tell you, crazy but good.
- 10:16Speaker 10: I used to.
- 10:18Speaker 4: See my husband do it all the time. And I
- 10:20Speaker 4: would tell him, you know, you're disgusting. Popcorn with ketchup
- 10:23Speaker 4: and jalapeno juice.
- 10:25Speaker 1: No, you lost your mind.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Oh, my life.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Don't knock it till you try it.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Your husband bamboozled you. No wonder how he got you
- 10:33Speaker 1: to marry him. Your husband bamboozled you. There's no way
- 10:36Speaker 1: in hell that ketchup and what.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Did you say?
- 10:39Speaker 2: I swear.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Jalapeno sauce?
- 10:42Speaker 4: No, like the juice of the jalapeno.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You know when you go to the.
- 10:46Speaker 6: Okay, the jalapeno juice that, you know, when you go.
- 10:48Speaker 4: To the movie and you're putting the jalapenos.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Same thing. You put a lot of jalapenos in the
- 10:55Speaker 8: juice and very little ketchup.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Just like a little, you know.
- 10:59Speaker 4: But it's pretty bomb.
- 11:00Speaker 5: It's pretty good.
- 11:01Speaker 9: Okay.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You guys are both crazy. But okay.
- 11:04Speaker 4: I'm going to go take some to you.
- 11:05Speaker 9: No.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I'm good. Thank you.
- 11:09Speaker 7: While you watch the Kern County activities.
- 11:11Speaker 1: All right. Later.
- 11:14Speaker 4: You know, I'm that girl. I'm that girl that was
- 11:16Speaker 4: with you when you were watching that fight.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Kern County activities.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Were you in the fight or are you just standing
- 11:22Speaker 1: next to me?
- 11:22Speaker 2: Hell no.
- 11:23Speaker 8: I'm just watching.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:24Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:25Speaker 5: I was right next to you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Don't bring me jalapeno juice popcorn, okay, with ketchup.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Hey, I was the one asking you for a job,
- 11:32Speaker 7: but you don't want to give it to me.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Well, you eat it. How can I trust you? You
- 11:38Speaker 1: eat popcorn with jalapeno juice and ketchup on it.
- 11:41Speaker 4: See, this is why you have.
- 11:42Speaker 6: To have me on your show, so that we can
- 11:44Speaker 6: do controversial conversations.
- 11:46Speaker 4: You can agree to disagree, and it's all good.
- 11:50Speaker 1: No, you're wrong. It's not agree to disagree. You're just wrong.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I guess, boy, that bandwagon is going to be full now.
- 12:03Speaker 1: If it's not already filled up, we're going to have
- 12:06Speaker 1: to go bring out another bus for these Niner fans.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Going 6-0 last night. Monday Night Football was packed. Everybody
- 12:13Speaker 1: seemed to have a great time. The Niners, boy, they...
- 12:15Speaker 1: These NFL games, man, I thought the Niners were just
- 12:19Speaker 1: going to run away with it and embarrass the Commanders.
- 12:22Speaker 9: But, hey.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I guess the NFL. Don't nobody run away with nothing, right?
- 12:27Speaker 1: These close games are just what the NFL is. That's
- 12:31Speaker 1: why I always say all that matters is winning or losing.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It doesn't matter how much you win by, how much
- 12:36Speaker 1: you lose by. All that matters is winning and losing.
- 12:40Speaker 1: But the Niners got it done. Although, boy, they tried
- 12:44Speaker 1: to help the Commanders win that game. Sure, they really
- 12:47Speaker 1: gave them a lot of opportunities. But the Niners' defense
- 12:50Speaker 1: stepped up. But it was a good football game. Niners
- 12:52Speaker 1: 6-0 right now. I think, although they did lose their
- 12:58Speaker 1: wide receiver, I think it's going to hurt them. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: did they lose somebody else? They just lost their wide receiver, right? Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think that's what it is. But, boy, that Niner bandwagon,
- 13:10Speaker 1: that bandwagon bust, they better pull out. They're going to
- 13:12Speaker 1: have to pull out another one. They're going to have
- 13:14Speaker 1: to pull out another one. Hey, Rome, now that the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Niners are 6-0, can we start taking them seriously as
- 13:20Speaker 1: a Super Bowl contender? I don't think so. I don't...
- 13:28Speaker 1: I don't think the Niners can beat the Bears right now.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I don't know why Caleb Williams looks like she's the
- 13:33Speaker 1: best quarterback on the planet. But no, I don't think
- 13:36Speaker 1: the Niners... And they're going to get hurt. That's the
- 13:40Speaker 1: one thing. Look, they already lost one of their receivers.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I just think they're going to get hurt. They always
- 13:45Speaker 1: get hurt for some reason. I mean, they look great.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. Purdy looks great. But I just.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I don't have the same faith in them, I guess,
- 13:57Speaker 1: as you Niner fans do, that blind faith that they
- 14:00Speaker 1: could actually do something. I just don't think they can.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I think something's going to happen to them. I just,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you know, already 4-2, 5-4, 7-7. I think what it's
- 14:11Speaker 1: going to come down to is more players getting hurt.
- 14:14Speaker 9: Why? I don't know. History.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, now that the Niners are 6-0, do you
- 14:19Speaker 1: think there's more Niner fans than Raider fans out there?
- 14:21Speaker 8: I do.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I do.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I do. I think there's last night at Monday Night Football,
- 14:27Speaker 1: a Niner fan had actually pointed out that there was
- 14:30Speaker 1: a Raider fan celebrating the Niners last night. So, yes,
- 14:36Speaker 1: bandwagoners in Bakersfield are. Yeah, they're just can't do nothing
- 14:41Speaker 1: about them. There's so many bandwagon fans here that you're
- 14:44Speaker 1: absolutely right. Rome, you can't take the Niners seriously, especially
- 14:49Speaker 1: with the Jean Love being arrested and all the injuries
- 14:53Speaker 1: they have. Well, it is tough. That's why I said that.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It really is tough to think the Niners have a
- 15:00Speaker 1: legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl or even get
- 15:02Speaker 1: there based on the fact that they just, it's almost
- 15:05Speaker 1: like they're cursed, man. It seems like the Niners have
- 15:07Speaker 1: a curse for some reason with injuries that has plagued
- 15:11Speaker 1: them the last few years. Let's see. Good morning, Rome. Hey,
- 15:14Speaker 1: any sport, the ultimate goal is to win a championship.
- 15:17Speaker 1: The final one, not the division or the league, but
- 15:21Speaker 1: the last man standing. Niners haven't accomplished it in 31 years.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And when they made it to the end, they have choked. Look,
- 15:33Speaker 1: your team looks like they're on track to make something
- 15:35Speaker 1: happen again. Smoke doesn't mean fire. Niners are too much smoke.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I just, I mean, they look good. You can't go
- 15:44Speaker 1: wrong with the fact that they look good. It's just
- 15:46Speaker 1: they don't– the problem is their history right now does
- 15:51Speaker 1: not look good for them. I mean, that's just the problem.
- 15:54Speaker 1: They got too many injuries.
- 15:55Speaker 9: You're right.
- 15:56Speaker 1: They're choking too much. I don't really think that you
- 16:01Speaker 1: guys aren't going to like this. I just don't think
- 16:04Speaker 1: that guy's a great coach. I don't think that guy's–
- 16:08Speaker 1: I just don't think he's a step on your neck,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you know, kind of coach. And that's, I think, the problem.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I don't think the problem is the players. Hey, Rome,
- 16:17Speaker 1: you're right about bandwagoners. One of my friends was a
- 16:19Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers fan because of his girlfriend, and now
- 16:23Speaker 1: he's a 49er fan. Now with his five, now with
- 16:29Speaker 1: the five rings tattooed on him.
- 16:32Speaker 9: Well.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Hey, what's up, Rome?
- 16:34Speaker 3: It's me, Hawk Luke.
- 16:34Speaker 1: What up, Luke?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Hey, man, you know what I think is going to
- 16:37Speaker 5: happen with these Niners?
- 16:40Speaker 1: You better be careful what you say, Lou, because you're
- 16:42Speaker 1: in a bad spot right now.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Nah, it doesn't matter.
- 16:45Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 16:46Speaker 5: It's like history repeats itself, man.
- 16:49Speaker 2: They're going to do good.
- 16:50Speaker 5: They're going to get to the playoffs, and then they're
- 16:53Speaker 5: just going to choke.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Okay. I mean, I can't argue with the history does
- 16:59Speaker 1: repeat itself in many instances.
- 17:02Speaker 3: It does.
- 17:04Speaker 2: It really does, man. So, you know, you got to
- 17:06Speaker 2: let these Niner fans get happy while they can. Shoot
- 17:09Speaker 2: off them bang-bang.
- 17:11Speaker 6: Pistols or whatever they do.
- 17:14Speaker 2: And, you know, let them be happy, man.
- 17:17Speaker 3: 6-0.
- 17:18Speaker 2: They kill and fly.
- 17:20Speaker 1: But wait till playoffs, man. Wait till playoffs. Well, at
- 17:23Speaker 1: least they'll be in the playoffs, I guess.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I think they will be.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I got to give them credit, man.
- 17:30Speaker 5: They're doing good.
- 17:31Speaker 1: They're playing solid. All right.
- 17:34Speaker 2: All right, Lou.
- 17:35Speaker 1: All right, brother. Yeah, I kind of agree with Lou
- 17:37Speaker 1: a little bit. I think, you know, it seems like
- 17:40Speaker 1: the Niners have a curse, but I don't think it's
- 17:42Speaker 1: a curse. I think it's the coach. I think the
- 17:44Speaker 1: coach is just good enough to make them good enough
- 17:52Speaker 1: to lose. You know what? Does that make sense to you?
- 17:54Speaker 1: He's just good enough. Already 4-2, 5-4, 7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 17:56Speaker 1: Andy Reid was like Shanahan. When he was with the Eagles,
- 18:05Speaker 1: but once he moved to KC, he started to win championships.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Maybe Kyle needs to leave like Andy Reid did. That's
- 18:15Speaker 1: a good question. I don't know what is wrong with Kyle.
- 18:21Speaker 1: He looked very promising when he moved to the Niners, right?
- 18:24Speaker 9: Looked great.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I mean, he's got the squad. He's got the players,
- 18:28Speaker 1: it looks like. Yeah, I just don't know. I'm just
- 18:32Speaker 1: not sure. I think the problem with the Niners, though,
- 18:35Speaker 1: is the coach. And it just seems like he does
- 18:40Speaker 1: enough to... Because look what he did with quarterbacks. He
- 18:44Speaker 1: kept bringing in the next quarterback up, and they kept winning, right?
- 18:48Speaker 1: But for some reason, they always fall short. That's got
- 18:50Speaker 1: to be on the coach, right? Or the injuries. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Real quick, let's get some tickets to you guys. Puff
- 18:59Speaker 1: Puff Pass Tour is coming. Snoop Dogg is going to
- 19:02Speaker 1: be here November 7th at Dignity Health Arena. I got
- 19:05Speaker 1: a pair of tickets for you right now. Caller 29-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 19:06Speaker 1: What's going on? What's up, Romeo?
- 19:09Speaker 5: Hey, you called number 29.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Congratulations. Oh, let's go.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I've never won anything.
- 19:16Speaker 9: Jesus.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You sound like you don't need to be at a
- 19:22Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg concert smoking weed. What's your name, man?
- 19:25Speaker 10: Ruben.
- 19:26Speaker 1: All right, Ruben. You just got yourself tickets.
- 19:28Speaker 5: This is not Feta Fry Ruben, though.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Feta Fry Ruben.
- 19:35Speaker 1: All right, brother, so you got some tickets to the
- 19:39Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg Show November 7th, okay? All right, man, thank you.
- 19:43Speaker 1: All righty, 4254, 7 to 7. We got more tickets
- 19:45Speaker 1: on the way. I also got Bluey. Bluey's coming up
- 19:49Speaker 1: over at— 27th at Dignity Health, so I'll get you
- 19:52Speaker 1: some of those tickets as well. Hey, Rome. Kyle Shannon
- 19:56Speaker 1: gets too conservative with his play calling and then falls
- 19:59Speaker 1: short when it matters. You know what? You might be right.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That's kind of what it seems like he does, huh?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Like he gets scared.
- 20:06Speaker 2: And....
- 20:08Speaker 1: Like he could just be dominating and then he gets
- 20:11Speaker 1: scared and he ends up losing that. You're right. Or
- 20:13Speaker 1: he's just like I said, it doesn't seem like he
- 20:16Speaker 1: has the you know, he has what it takes to
- 20:19Speaker 1: be aggressive, aggressive. You know, it's just I don't know.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I don't know how you might be right. That's kind
- 20:24Speaker 1: of the best way to explain it. I think he
- 20:26Speaker 1: gets too conservative. Scare Valley is back over at the
- 20:29Speaker 1: Kern County Museum. It is haunted houses, a Black Ridge Asylum,
- 20:34Speaker 1: Wicked Dark. Mike and his nutty-ass friends all put it together,
- 20:37Speaker 1: and it is obviously one of the scariest haunts you
- 20:41Speaker 1: will ever see in California. Good morning, Mike.
- 20:43Speaker 9: Good morning. How are we doing, Romeo?
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm doing good. You still got that nut job over
- 20:47Speaker 1: there scaring people?
- 20:49Speaker 7: Mr.
- 20:49Speaker 9: Kevin?
- 20:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 9: Yeah, he goes, Mike, don't hate me. You got to
- 20:53Speaker 9: come and see this.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a psychopath. But it's worth it. The haunts
- 20:58Speaker 1: are worth it. So Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the
- 21:00Speaker 1: rest of the month?
- 21:01Speaker 9: Yes.
- 21:02Speaker 10: We will be open Thursday the last week.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:06Speaker 9: The 28th. We will be open that Thursday. But yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So let's talk a little bit about what you got
- 21:11Speaker 1: out there. You got two haunted houses, right?
- 21:13Speaker 10: Two haunted houses. The new one this year is the
- 21:16Speaker 10: Insane Asylum. We've made both haunts bigger, so everybody's pretty
- 21:21Speaker 10: excited about that. Opening weekend, people loved what we did
- 21:24Speaker 10: with Wicked Dark and expanded it.
- 21:26Speaker 9: And we were.
- 21:27Speaker 10: Getting a lot of guest requests to make Wicked Dark
- 21:30Speaker 10: bigger and longer, and we did.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Okay, fantastic. Now, one of the things people don't understand
- 21:34Speaker 1: is you have actual actors out there also as well, right?
- 21:37Speaker 9: We have 140 actors.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Yeah, see, I think people think Bakersfield, Haunted House, they
- 21:42Speaker 1: see the people that do it in their neighborhoods, and
- 21:43Speaker 1: they don't realize that what you guys put on out
- 21:45Speaker 1: there is a full-on show.
- 21:46Speaker 10: Oh, they're a whole community. I mean, all year long,
- 21:48Speaker 10: they work on it. I mean, we're talking, we literally
- 21:51Speaker 10: write horror movies. I mean, they write the script, they
- 21:54Speaker 10: figure out the sets, they figure out the costume and
- 21:56Speaker 10: the makeup. They have meetings like once a month. I mean,
- 22:01Speaker 10: it's involved.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So let's tell people where they can go. Is it scarevalley.com?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Is that where they can go to check everything out?
- 22:07Speaker 10: Yeah, that's our site. You know, have pricing calendars.
- 22:09Speaker 1: And, you know, the events and Now, obviously, you guys open,
- 22:12Speaker 1: I think tickets go on sale around 7-ish, a little
- 22:14Speaker 1: after 7. At the gate. At the gate, yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 9: You can buy them online, of course. Okay.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And, you know, I think it opens at 7.30, if
- 22:21Speaker 1: I remember correctly. You guys obviously want to go after
- 22:24Speaker 1: it gets dark. They stay open until, how late do
- 22:27Speaker 1: you guys stay open?
- 22:28Speaker 10: Usually midnight or whenever the last group goes through.
- 22:31Speaker 9: Okay, okay.
- 22:31Speaker 1: So you've got a couple haunts out there. What else
- 22:33Speaker 1: do you have out there?
- 22:34Speaker 9: We got a bar.
- 22:35Speaker 1: A bar.
- 22:39Speaker 10: Well, you know, everybody was pre-gaming all the time, so
- 22:42Speaker 10: we said, you know what? Let's just do this.
- 22:44Speaker 9: I gave. I caved.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. It's like having a couple of cold
- 22:48Speaker 1: ones and then going through.
- 22:49Speaker 9: All of them. Yeah. Get a little liquid courage in.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, they're very scary. These haunts are very scary. You
- 22:59Speaker 1: guys don't understand. They're great. I mean, they really are psychotic. Um,
- 23:03Speaker 1: but there's so much fun. I mean, I know it
- 23:05Speaker 1: from an age perspective, I guess it's kind of what you,
- 23:08Speaker 1: do you have an age limit or.
- 23:09Speaker 10: We don't, we've had people like, you know, your kid,
- 23:12Speaker 10: but there's people have brought pretty young kids. We try
- 23:14Speaker 10: to say, you know, generally probably, you know, 12, 11
- 23:17Speaker 10: at the most, depending upon their threshold levels.
- 23:19Speaker 9: I mean, some people are like, Oh, this kid's a psycho.
- 23:21Speaker 9: He'll be cool. That's your kid. You know, your kid.
- 23:25Speaker 1: If you know your kid, obviously.
- 23:27Speaker 10: Dude, I remember going to Screamin' Dark when my sister
- 23:30Speaker 10: brought me when I was like young, elementary, probably mid,
- 23:33Speaker 10: you know, third, fourth grade.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Well, you got to figure you start watching scary movies
- 23:37Speaker 1: when what, you're about 10? Yeah. I mean, how old
- 23:40Speaker 1: were you when you saw The Exorcist? Probably eight or nine.
- 23:43Speaker 9: Yeah. Like, you know, just like, oh my gosh.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Your parents didn't even think about it. They just said,
- 23:48Speaker 1: we're watching a movie.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Sit down.
- 23:50Speaker 9: Now I'm sleeping with mom and.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Dad all night.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 23:55Speaker 1: All right, you guys. So Scare Valley is open every weekend, Thursday,
- 23:59Speaker 1: the last week of October. It opens Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Go to scarevalley.com. They got a couple of different attractions,
- 24:06Speaker 1: a couple of different haunts for you to check out. Yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 1: go there right now. It's Halloween time. And I just,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I don't know why, but we all love to be scared.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And Scare Valley is back over the Kern County Fairgrounds.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Mike is here. He puts it together with his crew,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and they do an amazing job. They have a couple
- 24:25Speaker 1: of different haunts. They have Black Ridge Asylum. They have
- 24:28Speaker 1: Wicked Dark. Good morning, Mike.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 24:32Speaker 1: What's the difference between the two?
- 24:33Speaker 10: Well, Wicked Dark is, you know, it's 3D paint. And
- 24:41Speaker 10: we've got clowns. Some people have a clown, not a fetish,
- 24:46Speaker 10: but like, you know, they see a clown in the midway. Literally,
- 24:49Speaker 10: I watched a clown opening weekend chase a girl out.
- 24:51Speaker 10: And I'm like, hey, dude, she's here to go through
- 24:54Speaker 10: the hunt, man. Like, she just saw what you're chasing
- 24:57Speaker 10: her out. I said, get back in there, man. What
- 24:59Speaker 10: are you chasing her off the premises, man? I had
- 25:01Speaker 10: to go fish her out of the parking lot, dude.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Wow, that is amazing. You know, they like their jobs.
- 25:08Speaker 1: They're actors.
- 25:10Speaker 9: They're artists. They live for it. They live for it.
- 25:13Speaker 1: It's amazing. Real quick, Mike. It's amazing how the one
- 25:18Speaker 1: genre of movies that doesn't seem to go away is
- 25:21Speaker 1: horror movies.
- 25:22Speaker 10: No, the anxiety, the hair on the back of the neck,
- 25:27Speaker 10: what they do with the music.
- 25:28Speaker 9: It's like, dude, don't you hear the music? You know
- 25:30Speaker 9: you're going to die.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Run.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 25:33Speaker 9: Cue the music and run. Cue the music.
- 25:36Speaker 1: So you guys want to go check it out. The Asylum,
- 25:39Speaker 1: the Wicked Dark, I mean, they're absolutely incredible. It's live action.
- 25:43Speaker 1: It's just amazing.
- 25:43Speaker 10: You know what's the best part? Like watching the group,
- 25:46Speaker 10: you know, because the best part about Haunted House is
- 25:48Speaker 10: going with your friends and group, and they're figuring out
- 25:49Speaker 10: who's first, who's in the middle, who's in the back.
- 25:51Speaker 10: And the middle people always think they're protected. I'm telling you,
- 25:55Speaker 10: our people single out the middle people. They know where
- 25:57Speaker 10: the weak link is. Yeah, the weak link. Watching them
- 26:01Speaker 10: plan and then I'm watching them come out the exit
- 26:03Speaker 10: running and screaming.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that is so great. For those of
- 26:07Speaker 1: you out there that don't have never been to a
- 26:09Speaker 1: haunted or you want to wonder, you know, you haven't
- 26:10Speaker 1: been to one or you think Bakersfield doesn't have the best.
- 26:13Speaker 1: They really are. They're scary, man. I'm going to tell
- 26:16Speaker 1: you right now. I've gone through it before they were
- 26:19Speaker 1: even done with it. It was scary. So you got
- 26:22Speaker 1: to go check them out at scarevalley.com. That's scarevalley.com. It's
- 26:26Speaker 1: all going down the Kern County Fairgrounds. It kicks off
- 26:29Speaker 1: at 7.30. About 7.30 they open. It goes late. So
- 26:33Speaker 1: for those of you that like to be in the later,
- 26:35Speaker 1: the better, right?
- 26:36Speaker 9: No, I mean, it's, you know, hey, I mean, it's whatever.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Nobody wants to go at dusk.
- 26:41Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, no.
- 26:43Speaker 10: But, you know, a lot of people like to get
- 26:45Speaker 10: in there and get their pregame on.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:49Speaker 10: You know, the Midway Go, a little mini shop, music's playing.
- 26:52Speaker 10: There's a screen playing a bunch of horror movies or
- 26:55Speaker 10: Kevin's little concoction of how to get you ready for
- 26:58Speaker 10: the event.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So there really is, it really is a lot more
- 27:01Speaker 1: going on than just walking through a haunted house. There's
- 27:04Speaker 1: some things to see out there. You guys, so they're
- 27:07Speaker 1: going to be open every weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Last
- 27:09Speaker 1: weekend of October, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yes. I think
- 27:13Speaker 1: Halloween's on a Saturday this year, if I remember correctly.
- 27:17Speaker 9: Yeah, I believe so.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I think it's actually Halloween's on a Saturday. So you
- 27:20Speaker 1: guys are going to be open the day of November
- 27:22Speaker 1: 1st then, right?
- 27:24Speaker 10: No, Halloween is on a Saturday.
- 27:26Speaker 1: So you'll be open the next day also?
- 27:28Speaker 9: Yeah, Sunday on the 1st.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Okay, so you guys... You guys have a lot of time.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Get your friends together. Get your family together. And head
- 27:34Speaker 1: on down to Scare Valley. Is there anything we're missing, Mike?
- 27:36Speaker 1: What are we missing? No, just grab friends. Grab friends.
- 27:39Speaker 9: Grab protection.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Go with the biggest guy.
- 27:43Speaker 9: Strength in numbers.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Strength in numbers. Doesn't sound like it. If you guys
- 27:48Speaker 1: want to find out more information, go to scarevalley.com. Like
- 27:51Speaker 1: I said, Kern County Fairgrounds. They got Black Ridge Asylum.
- 27:54Speaker 1: They got Wicked Dark. They got a little something for
- 27:55Speaker 1: the whole family if you guys want to go down there.
- 27:58Speaker 1: and get scared. If you guys want to just hang
- 28:00Speaker 1: out and we'll let your, you know, the older kids
- 28:02Speaker 1: get scared. The little ones can still go down and
- 28:04Speaker 1: have a little fun as well.
- 28:05Speaker 9: Oh yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 9: I'll have a little light show for them. All right.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Scare Valley's back everybody. All right. I got to ask
- 28:10Speaker 1: you guys this, um, because I think this is so
- 28:14Speaker 1: strange the way some of you guys are loyal, more
- 28:17Speaker 1: loyal to other, um, something other than your spouse. So
- 28:23Speaker 1: last weekend I went to a, uh, it was an alumni, uh,
- 28:27Speaker 1: alumni event at a college. And there was about, it
- 28:31Speaker 1: was like a dinner, a barbecue dinner type thing before
- 28:35Speaker 1: the football game for the college. And there was, there
- 28:39Speaker 1: must've been about five, 600 people at this thing.
- 28:41Speaker 9: Okay.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Maybe, maybe yeah, about five or 600 people there. Right.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Every single person that I saw, and I'm being 100%
- 28:53Speaker 1: accurate about this, every single person that I saw was
- 28:59Speaker 1: either wearing a shirt or something from that college. Now,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'm assuming that most of the people were the alumni
- 29:09Speaker 1: of the college wearing college gear.
- 29:14Speaker 5: All of them.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Now, the people that weren't wearing the college gear from
- 29:19Speaker 1: that college just were wearing regular clothes, except for one woman.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I am not exaggerating. This is very, this is as
- 29:30Speaker 1: accurate as you can get. One woman out of these
- 29:33Speaker 1: 500 people or so had on a shirt from a
- 29:39Speaker 1: different college. Not the college we were all at, but
- 29:45Speaker 1: a different college. So let me ask you this question.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Is she a jackass? Because I didn't talk to her,
- 29:56Speaker 1: but I will tell you this. From what I can
- 30:00Speaker 1: make out of the whole scenario, her spouse went to
- 30:04Speaker 1: the college. And her spouse was not wearing the colors
- 30:12Speaker 1: of the college. Oh, I think she might have the
- 30:13Speaker 1: shirt of the colors of the college on, but not
- 30:15Speaker 1: the college emblem, right? So she was an alumni of
- 30:20Speaker 1: the school. But her wife was wearing a different college.
- 30:29Speaker 1: The only person at this event, and there's a lot
- 30:34Speaker 1: of people there, was wearing a shirt that represented a
- 30:39Speaker 1: different college. Now, I'm assuming that the woman, that was
- 30:43Speaker 1: the college the woman went to. But that's not the point.
- 30:49Speaker 1: What kind of jackass do you have to be to
- 30:52Speaker 1: not support your spouse at their alumni event? And the
- 30:58Speaker 1: reason I bring this up is because all you idiots
- 31:00Speaker 1: do this with your friends and your family and your
- 31:03Speaker 1: spouses when it comes to sports teams. Like when I
- 31:07Speaker 1: go to the Dodgers games with my friends who are
- 31:09Speaker 1: all Dodger fans, Daniel Rodriguez's Dodger tickets, who's a Dodger fan.
- 31:16Speaker 1: If my friends say, hey, we want you to wear
- 31:18Speaker 1: a Dodger jersey with us, I'll wear a Dodger because
- 31:21Speaker 1: they're my friends. I love them. But you guys are
- 31:25Speaker 1: so adamant. And that's when I recognized this at this
- 31:29Speaker 1: alumni event I was at. What is wrong with this woman?
- 31:32Speaker 9: Am I wrong?
- 31:34Speaker 1: Or is she a jackass for not supporting? Well, I
- 31:38Speaker 1: didn't go to that school, so I'm not going to support.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I got to support this other college because that's where
- 31:42Speaker 1: I went. I got to stay true. You're staying more
- 31:45Speaker 1: true to the college you went to than to your
- 31:48Speaker 1: own spouse? That's how you feel? I do not understand
- 31:56Speaker 1: the arrogance in that. I do not understand this whole idea.
- 32:01Speaker 1: What have you lost? I wore a Raider jersey one time.
- 32:06Speaker 1: A friend of mine calls me up. He goes, hey,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I'm buying a truck in Delano Chevy. They said, if
- 32:10Speaker 1: you take a picture in a Raider jersey, they'll give
- 32:14Speaker 1: me some more money off. And I said, sure. And
- 32:18Speaker 1: this was years ago, and they took more money off
- 32:20Speaker 1: for him. He's a friend of mine. I didn't care.
- 32:22Speaker 1: What have I lost? What have I lost? What do
- 32:27Speaker 1: you lose by supporting somebody you love or care about
- 32:31Speaker 1: by representing what they want, by representing what they were
- 32:35Speaker 1: a part of? Or am I totally wrong? Was that
- 32:39Speaker 1: woman totally in the right to wear a different college shirt?
- 32:43Speaker 1: By the way, she was the only one in all
- 32:47Speaker 1: five or six hundred people that were there.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Good morning, Romeo.
- 32:50Speaker 1: What up, brother?
- 32:51Speaker 11: Okay, so I got to tell you like this, man.
- 32:54Speaker 3: So if you spent your time, you went to college,
- 32:57Speaker 3: you did all that, that means something to you. You know,
- 33:00Speaker 3: you represented this whole time, you know, to get through
- 33:04Speaker 3: what you had to get through to get your degree.
- 33:07Speaker 3: That means something.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I understand that. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm
- 33:12Speaker 1: saying is if you and I go to an event
- 33:14Speaker 1: together and I'm there to support you, And I should
- 33:20Speaker 1: be representing you, not my college, to be a jackass
- 33:24Speaker 1: because nobody else had their other college's shirts on. Just her.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I would never ask somebody to do that. I wouldn't
- 33:32Speaker 3: expect anybody to do that. I would expect everybody to represent.
- 33:36Speaker 9: What they like.
- 33:37Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 33:37Speaker 11: But you don't have to change yourself for me.
- 33:40Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this question. This is all
- 33:42Speaker 1: I want. How are you losing? How are you changing
- 33:45Speaker 1: yourself by doing that? I'm not even saying represent. Here's
- 33:49Speaker 1: the thing, though. She could have just wore a regular
- 33:53Speaker 1: shirt that didn't have no college on it.
- 33:55Speaker 9: That's my point.
- 33:56Speaker 1: She went out of her way to represent her college,
- 34:01Speaker 1: which to me makes her a jackass. She's going out
- 34:04Speaker 1: of her way to be a jackass.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Okay, well, let me tell you this. She didn't go
- 34:09Speaker 3: out of her way to get that degree.
- 34:11Speaker 1: That's not the point. That would be like me going to.
- 34:18Speaker 1: What's your favorite sports team?
- 34:20Speaker 3: Well, okay, you're going to wear a KUZZ shirt? What? Well,
- 34:24Speaker 3: you're going to wear a KUZZ shirt?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Would I wear one?
- 34:27Speaker 9: Yeah. Well, you would, bro.
- 34:29Speaker 1: You're different, bro.
- 34:30Speaker 11: You're different.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Let me ask you. I'll put it to you like this.
- 34:34Speaker 1: If I met Buck Owens and Buck said, hey, we're
- 34:37Speaker 1: going to an event, would you mind wearing this shirt? Yeah,
- 34:39Speaker 1: I would wear it for him.
- 34:42Speaker 3: You know what, Robert?
- 34:44Speaker 1: You're right, bro. But my point is not even that
- 34:47Speaker 1: she wore the shirt. She could have not wore a
- 34:49Speaker 1: shirt with a college on it. That means she actively
- 34:54Speaker 1: made a decision to be a jackass.
- 34:59Speaker 11: Well, she's probably living those days that she had to
- 35:01Speaker 11: get up every day and make those sacrifices to go
- 35:03Speaker 11: to that school and do everything she had to do.
- 35:07Speaker 1: You're missing the point. She could have just wore a
- 35:09Speaker 1: regular shirt with nothing on it.
- 35:12Speaker 11: I get that part, too, but she's taking herself back
- 35:16Speaker 11: to all the struggle, you know what I mean?
- 35:18Speaker 9: No, she ain't.
- 35:19Speaker 1: No, what she's doing is she was actively, she made
- 35:22Speaker 1: a conscious decision to be an A, you know what,
- 35:25Speaker 1: is what she did. Because she was, she's probably one
- 35:28Speaker 1: of these.
- 35:28Speaker 10: Huh?
- 35:29Speaker 3: She wanted to stand out.
- 35:31Speaker 1: She was trying to show out.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 1: And I'm going to take it a step further. She
- 35:36Speaker 1: probably did it because she thinks her college is better
- 35:40Speaker 1: than the one we were at. So she wanted to
- 35:44Speaker 1: prove a point.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Why not?
- 35:47Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 35:49Speaker 9: Yeah, you're right.
- 35:50Speaker 3: You can only take a step back from your pride.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It took me three minutes to bring you around.
- 35:59Speaker 9: You like that, man.
- 36:00Speaker 5: You can do that.
- 36:01Speaker 9: You're a convincing guy.
- 36:02Speaker 2: You're very convincing.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I'm just saying that the option is to just wear
- 36:07Speaker 1: regular clothes, not represent anything. If you don't want to
- 36:10Speaker 1: represent your spouse's college because you didn't go there, that's fine.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But don't go out of your way consciously to do
- 36:16Speaker 1: something to be a jackass.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Be a jackass, right.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And let me ask you this question in all fairness.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Should your college come before your spouse Or should a
- 36:30Speaker 1: sports team come before your spouse?
- 36:34Speaker 3: Okay, not your sports team, right? But if your college
- 36:38Speaker 3: probably did come before your spouse, you know, that was
- 36:41Speaker 3: part of your life before your spouse. So that's understandable.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you this question. You're in college
- 36:47Speaker 1: four years, and then you might be with your spouse
- 36:50Speaker 1: 40 years.
- 36:52Speaker 3: If you're lucky.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fair.
- 36:55Speaker 9: If you're not from Beckerfield.
- 36:56Speaker 3: If you're not from Beckerfield.
- 36:59Speaker 9: All right, man. Get out of here. Later.
- 37:02Speaker 1: All right. All I'm saying is it looks like she
- 37:04Speaker 1: made a conscience effort to be in it. You know what?
- 37:08Speaker 1: To be a jackass. How about supporting your spouse? So
- 37:13Speaker 1: you guys explain this to me. Okay. So I went
- 37:15Speaker 1: to this, an event over the weekend. It was an
- 37:18Speaker 1: alumni for a college. And there was about 500, 600
- 37:21Speaker 1: people there at this event I was at, right? One
- 37:24Speaker 1: person out of all of these people was wearing a
- 37:28Speaker 1: college T-shirt from another college. Everybody else either had the
- 37:33Speaker 1: school colors on, the school logo on, or was just
- 37:36Speaker 1: wearing regular clothes. One woman. Her spouse went to the college.
- 37:43Speaker 1: One woman. You know she did that on purpose to
- 37:46Speaker 1: be a jackass, right?
- 37:48Speaker 8: Right?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Good morning, Rob.
- 37:50Speaker 9: What's going on?
- 37:50Speaker 4: Good morning, Romeo.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 37:53Speaker 4: It's called attention-seeking. That's all that it is. I swear
- 37:59Speaker 4: they do it at the high school games. They do
- 38:02Speaker 4: it at stuff like you're talking about. Man, like, you
- 38:06Speaker 4: just can't go with the flow. You just have to
- 38:08Speaker 4: be the where's Waldo in the group. Like, just can't
- 38:16Speaker 4: go with the flow. It just got to be different.
- 38:18Speaker 4: So somebody, you know, got to be the polka dot
- 38:20Speaker 4: in a plain background.
- 38:22Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 38:23Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 38:24Speaker 1: You ain't lying. You are not lying. That's so funny.
- 38:29Speaker 4: There's always a few of them. It's like the ones
- 38:31Speaker 4: that go to the pro games. You had the 49ers
- 38:34Speaker 4: and the Raiders game, but here you come with a
- 38:37Speaker 4: Rams jersey.
- 38:38Speaker 8: Like, nobody even asked about you.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Like, what sense does that make?
- 38:43Speaker 7: Like, I don't know.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Every time I see one of those little fans in
- 38:49Speaker 4: a whole arena.
- 38:51Speaker 7: Of other.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Fans, I'm just like, now, why would you do that?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you put it in a perfect perspective right there. Yeah. But, yeah,
- 39:01Speaker 1: I just, all right. Yeah, all right, well, I'm glad
- 39:04Speaker 1: I'm not the only one that thought she was being
- 39:05Speaker 1: a jackass.
- 39:06Speaker 5: No, well, most definitely.
- 39:09Speaker 1: So I had to go to this event over the
- 39:11Speaker 1: weekend and last weekend, and it was an alumni event.
- 39:16Speaker 1: So it was, and there was a lot of people there, 500,
- 39:17Speaker 1: 600 people, right?
- 39:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 1: All of these people were either wearing just regular old clothes,
- 39:22Speaker 1: or they had, you know, the school colors on with
- 39:24Speaker 1: the logo, whatever. Different folks, right? Because alumni. One spouse,
- 39:28Speaker 1: and I'm assuming she was a student. she had to
- 39:30Speaker 1: be a spouse because she wore a different college's t-shirt
- 39:35Speaker 1: only one that was representing some other college they either
- 39:39Speaker 1: these people were representing the college we were at or
- 39:41Speaker 1: nothing You know she did that on purpose to be
- 39:45Speaker 1: a jackass, right? She had to. You can't rep your spouse.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Nobody said you had to wear your spouse's college colors,
- 39:51Speaker 1: but you could have just wore regular clothes. So you
- 39:54Speaker 1: know she actively did that on purpose, right? Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 39:59Speaker 1: What's going on? Hey, what's up, Roland Seahawk Lou? What up, Lou?
- 40:04Speaker 5: Hey, so about two years ago, my dad, we did
- 40:10Speaker 5: a birthday party for my dad, and he's a Raiders fan.
- 40:15Speaker 5: And the biggest question was, this Raiders birthday themed party
- 40:21Speaker 5: that we did for him, are we all going to
- 40:24Speaker 5: have to wear a Raiders jersey? Or are we going
- 40:28Speaker 5: to take our own football jersey? So I thought to myself,
- 40:34Speaker 5: if I have to, I'll go buy a Gardner Minshew
- 40:38Speaker 5: jersey and slap it on and go to the party
- 40:42Speaker 5: because it's about the theme you give me well yeah
- 40:46Speaker 5: that's when the raiders were down in the dumps man
- 40:48Speaker 5: like you.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Know just to be fair lulu you could just wear
- 40:51Speaker 1: a black shirt you didn't have to have a logo
- 40:54Speaker 1: on it that's okay.
- 40:55Speaker 5: Yeah but i wouldn't have thrown on the seahawk jersey
- 40:59Speaker 5: you know what i mean.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Well that's what i mean that's my point is I
- 41:02Speaker 1: think this woman consciously did it on purpose to be
- 41:05Speaker 1: a jackass amongst this group. And I think she was
- 41:10Speaker 1: doing it out of arrogance and ego because she thought
- 41:13Speaker 1: her college was better than the college that we were at.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Definitely, definitely. That's what I'm saying.
- 41:19Speaker 5: I would have just done it just to support.
- 41:22Speaker 1: So what did you do? What did you wear?
- 41:26Speaker 3: Oh, nah.
- 41:27Speaker 5: So he's like, nah, anybody can wear whatever. So the
- 41:30Speaker 5: whole family went in a whole Seahawks jersey, you know.
- 41:33Speaker 5: I had my cleats on and everything.
- 41:35Speaker 9: You're an idiot.
- 41:36Speaker 1: You are a straight idiot. All right, get out of here.
- 41:41Speaker 1: But that's my point about the whole scenario is at
- 41:45Speaker 1: what point does the person you love and care about,
- 41:48Speaker 1: whether it be a family member, whether it be a friend,
- 41:51Speaker 1: whether it be a spouse... At what point is that
- 41:55Speaker 1: more important than representing something else just to be a jackass? Representing, oh,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I can't wear that. What do you lose? That's what
- 42:06Speaker 1: I don't understand. I wish I was so stupid and
- 42:09Speaker 1: insecure that I could understand all of you idiots out
- 42:12Speaker 1: there who won't wear another something, whether it be another...
- 42:17Speaker 1: opposite of a college you went to or whether it
- 42:20Speaker 1: be a team because of, oh, I'm so loyal. I
- 42:23Speaker 1: can't be seen in that. Well, what kind of insecure
- 42:26Speaker 1: moron do you have to be to think like that
- 42:29Speaker 1: when it comes to supporting a friend or a loved
- 42:31Speaker 1: one or a spouse or, you know, I don't get,
- 42:35Speaker 1: I just, I guess I'm just, I'm right. I'm a
- 42:38Speaker 1: different cat. That's why I'm better than you. So I was,
- 42:41Speaker 1: I had to go to this event over the weekend
- 42:44Speaker 1: and last weekend. And, um, It was an alumni event.
- 42:47Speaker 1: So it was, and there was a lot of people there, five,
- 42:49Speaker 1: 600 people, right? All of these people were either wearing
- 42:52Speaker 1: just regular old clothes or they had, you know, the
- 42:55Speaker 1: school colors on with the logo, whatever, different because alumni.
- 42:58Speaker 1: One spouse, and I'm assuming she had to be a
- 43:01Speaker 1: spouse because she wore a different college's t-shirt. Only one
- 43:06Speaker 1: that was representing some other college. Either these people were
- 43:10Speaker 1: representing the college we were at or nothing. You know
- 43:14Speaker 1: she did that on purpose to be a jackass, right?
- 43:17Speaker 1: She had to. You can't rep your spouse. Nobody said
- 43:20Speaker 1: you had to wear your spouse's college colors, but you
- 43:22Speaker 1: could have just wore regular clothes. So you know she
- 43:27Speaker 1: actively did that on purpose, right? Or am I wrong
- 43:29Speaker 1: about that? Because the way I see it is she
- 43:32Speaker 1: did that to try to prove a point. How can
- 43:35Speaker 1: you not? If you go on somewhere with your spouse
- 43:39Speaker 1: and that wasn't your team, your college, your whatever... then
- 43:43Speaker 1: don't wear anything. At least have enough respect for your
- 43:46Speaker 1: spouse through that, right? I think she did it because
- 43:48Speaker 1: she's just a jackass. But I could be wrong. Hey, Rome,
- 43:52Speaker 1: they should have kicked her ass out of the alumni party.
- 43:58Speaker 1: The arrogance of it was just unbelievable to me. Yo, Rome,
- 44:04Speaker 1: I don't know how I stand on this. I feel
- 44:06Speaker 1: like she was probably trying to show, hey, I didn't
- 44:09Speaker 1: go there, but went here. Maybe a compromise or a
- 44:15Speaker 1: flex or they're sports rivals within the college. Okay, they
- 44:19Speaker 1: weren't sports rivals within the college, but even if they were,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I like the way she's trying to throw a flex.
- 44:26Speaker 1: I mean, I don't see it. I think it's a
- 44:31Speaker 1: lot different from doing this at a college event than
- 44:34Speaker 1: like a high school event. College is more prideful, but
- 44:37Speaker 1: I think it's more of a status flex because You
- 44:41Speaker 1: ain't going to wear a BC sweater to a Cal
- 44:45Speaker 1: Poly party. But I don't know, Rome. You should support
- 44:47Speaker 1: your spouse. But if your spouse ain't dressed in their
- 44:50Speaker 1: own college gear at their event, hey, then I see
- 44:53Speaker 1: it as open game and they can wear what they want.
- 44:59Speaker 9: Okay.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I see where you're going with it. But... Yeah, I
- 45:07Speaker 1: see what you're saying, but you just don't do it.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I just think it's disrespectful, you know, to your spouse,
- 45:13Speaker 1: to the other people at the event. I mean, you're
- 45:15Speaker 1: trying to act like because you think your college is
- 45:18Speaker 1: more prestigious than the college your spouse went to, so
- 45:21Speaker 1: let me go flex on these fools. That makes you
- 45:24Speaker 1: look stupid. And by the way, oh, I had some
- 45:28Speaker 1: conversations with other people there, and everybody that I spoke
- 45:32Speaker 1: to noticed. That was the first thing they noticed.
- 45:35Speaker 9: You know?
- 45:36Speaker 1: But it's just the arrogance. The arrogance to do it
- 45:42Speaker 1: makes you look like a jackass. And she did. Get
- 45:45Speaker 1: to these text messages here real quick. Yo, Rome, I
- 45:48Speaker 1: think you're right. What is it going to hurt to
- 45:51Speaker 1: wear a different jersey or shirt for someone you love?
- 45:57Speaker 1: A little different scenario, but my son goes to a
- 45:59Speaker 1: different high school than I graduated from. I was going
- 46:02Speaker 1: to say that. I was thinking about that. That was
- 46:03Speaker 1: going to be my next conversation. I'm glad you brought
- 46:05Speaker 1: this up. I would never think about supporting the school
- 46:08Speaker 1: I graduated from over the school my son is playing for.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I mean, you're absolutely right. That's exactly I was going
- 46:14Speaker 1: to go there next. What about your kids? Do you
- 46:17Speaker 1: love your kids enough to take that rivalry or whatever
- 46:21Speaker 1: insecurity you have and set it aside? I mean, that's
- 46:24Speaker 1: just the idea is so stupid, you know.
- 46:30Speaker 9: Good morning, Rome.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Let's see how many women call in to defend that
- 46:34Speaker 1: woman you talked about. There's no excuse. It's just one day.
- 46:38Speaker 1: There is no excuse. There is no excuse. At what
- 46:44Speaker 1: point does the person you love, whether it be a friend,
- 46:50Speaker 1: whether it be a family member, whether it be somebody,
- 46:53Speaker 1: your ride or die, at what point Do you do
- 46:58Speaker 1: something that's out of character for you, for them, just
- 47:02Speaker 1: to show them how much you care about them? You know?
- 47:08Speaker 1: Good morning, Hop. What's going on?
- 47:09Speaker 7: Hey, Romeo. You're still talking about the young lady that.
- 47:14Speaker 4: kind of dis-termine by wearing that shirt.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it was just.
- 47:19Speaker 7: It wasn't right.
- 47:20Speaker 8: I mean, especially if it was like a reunion or
- 47:22Speaker 8: if it was something like that and you was going
- 47:24Speaker 8: with him to his school.
- 47:25Speaker 4: You represent, oh, wear a regular shirt like you said.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:28Speaker 8: Now, myself, like if we go to a, you know,
- 47:32Speaker 8: Monday Night Football and my 49ers are playing and his Raiders,
- 47:36Speaker 8: then we always, since the day we met, you know,
- 47:38Speaker 8: it's Battle of the Bays.
- 47:40Speaker 3: And so he.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Would be in his Raiders. I'm in my 49ers.
- 47:44Speaker 8: But if it's a place going to his college or
- 47:47Speaker 8: something like that, you absolutely represent your husband.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 47:51Speaker 8: Because I'm sure he got a couple of shirts, you know,
- 47:54Speaker 8: tied up on the.
- 47:55Speaker 7: Side and doing moving.
- 47:57Speaker 8: He did that purposely.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Just to be an ass. Just to be an ass.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Let's just show how they household is.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Oh, you ain't lying. I bet if he go to
- 48:17Speaker 1: her college alumni thing, I bet he can't wear his shirt.
- 48:21Speaker 4: No, he can't.
- 48:24Speaker 3: She might have him in a dress.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome. All right, get out of here. I mean,
- 48:35Speaker 1: I just think there are certain times when what you
- 48:41Speaker 1: consider loyal, let's just call it loyalty, loyalties to the
- 48:45Speaker 1: spouse or to the person you love, loyalties to a person,
- 48:50Speaker 1: not to a thing, you know, not to an idea,
- 48:53Speaker 1: not to a, you know, oh, my God, it just,
- 48:56Speaker 1: it's ridiculous, right? The way that some of you people
- 49:00Speaker 1: think is so stupid and so immature and insecure, it's
- 49:04Speaker 1: unbelievable that you would think that way, like this woman.
- 49:09Speaker 1: But she did it on purpose. She was trying to
- 49:11Speaker 1: flex on everybody. Luckily, I'm surprised nobody said nothing because
- 49:17Speaker 1: they were talking behind her back, but nobody said nothing
- 49:19Speaker 1: to her. Hey, what's going on?
- 49:21Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, Ruben?
- 49:22Speaker 7: What up, Ruben?
- 49:23Speaker 3: Man, 100% agree with you, bro.
- 49:25Speaker 2: She didn't have to wear anything. She didn't have to
- 49:27Speaker 2: wear the same thing. She didn't have to wear nothing,
- 49:29Speaker 2: just dress normal. Yeah. You know what I mean?
- 49:33Speaker 9: Floss on anything.
- 49:34Speaker 3: But if she thinks her college is that bad, then
- 49:36Speaker 3: why isn't she having a party over there?
- 49:38Speaker 1: Well, her spouse was having a party, so, yeah.
- 49:41Speaker 3: I was going to say, especially if that's your spouse
- 49:44Speaker 3: you're going with, why not just dress normal?
- 49:46Speaker 2: Why do you want to be the one standing out,
- 49:49Speaker 2: being the arrogant one, or do you just want that
- 49:51Speaker 2: center of attention because you're the only odd one in
- 49:53Speaker 2: the whole thing?
- 49:55Speaker 9: Well, I don't know.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I didn't go to that college, so I wasn't, I was.
- 49:58Speaker 9: The odd one.
- 49:58Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 49:59Speaker 9: No, for her, like, you know what I mean?
- 50:00Speaker 3: She didn't want to do any pretenders.
- 50:01Speaker 2: She wanted to be the attention, you know what I mean?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Want all attention on her.
- 50:04Speaker 9: I guess.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Apparently, she was, I think she was just trying to
- 50:07Speaker 1: be an a-hole, to be honest with you.
- 50:08Speaker 9: But, okay.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Well, what the foul to the pitch is, left her
- 50:11Speaker 2: at home.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's easier to say than do. But, okay.
- 50:17Speaker 9: All right.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I got you wrong on that one.
- 50:20Speaker 1: All right, Ruben. Later, man.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Later, bro.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I mean, you're just going out of your way to
- 50:24Speaker 1: be an a-hole. That's really what you're going out of
- 50:27Speaker 1: your way to do. I mean, there's no reason for it.
- 50:29Speaker 1: I mean, your arrogance and narcissism just makes you look
- 50:32Speaker 1: like a jackass. And everybody knew it. I mean, people
- 50:36Speaker 1: were commenting about it behind her back, but nobody was
- 50:39Speaker 1: going to tell her. Hey, good morning, Rome. This is
- 50:41Speaker 1: Bronco Mondo. I think she just grabbed. Bronco Mondo, you
- 50:45Speaker 1: need to stop talking. Hey, the lady is dumb. You
- 50:49Speaker 1: got to support. That's like your wife throwing a Cowboys party.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Everyone's showing up in a Cowboy jersey, but you decide
- 50:56Speaker 1: to show up in a Niners jersey just to be
- 50:59Speaker 1: different and stand out, be like everyone else, support, and
- 51:03Speaker 1: just wear the jersey. It's not that deep. That's the point,
- 51:07Speaker 1: you know. That's the problem with a lot of you
- 51:11Speaker 1: is you're– I don't know if you're a narcissist. I
- 51:15Speaker 1: don't know if you're a moron. I don't know if
- 51:17Speaker 1: you just are so insecure and egotistical that you can't
- 51:21Speaker 1: accept the fact that let somebody else, especially the person
- 51:27Speaker 1: that you love, be the center of attention. I mean,
- 51:32Speaker 1: how many people do you guys know? I know people
- 51:34Speaker 1: like this. How many people that, and I get a
- 51:36Speaker 1: lot of heat for this because a lot of my
- 51:40Speaker 1: friends are like this and people I know. They're not
- 51:43Speaker 1: happy for other people's success. Dude, I don't care. I'm
- 51:46Speaker 1: happy for everybody's success. I want everybody to be successful
- 51:50Speaker 1: because that just makes life better. I do not care.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I am not egotistical. I am not in competition with
- 51:57Speaker 1: any of you. I could give a damn. I don't
- 52:00Speaker 1: care if I get invited to the party. I don't
- 52:02Speaker 1: give a damn about any of it. But you all
- 52:05Speaker 1: know people who every time somebody else has a bit
- 52:10Speaker 1: of success in their life, And these are supposedly people
- 52:14Speaker 1: that you care about. They hate on them instead of
- 52:18Speaker 1: being supportive. And that's exactly what these psychopath narcissists are like.
- 52:23Speaker 1: They cannot stand the fact that they're not the center
- 52:27Speaker 1: of the tension or that somebody else had success. Even
- 52:31Speaker 1: if their success is not even more successful than them.
- 52:35Speaker 1: For some reason, these jackasses cannot do it. I don't
- 52:39Speaker 1: know why. And I feel sorry for them. And I
- 52:42Speaker 1: hope somebody someday somebody puts this woman in her place
- 52:45Speaker 1: for doing it because there's no other excuse for it.
- 52:48Speaker 1: I don't know what other justification she would have. Already
- 52:52Speaker 1: for two, five, four, seven, seven. Hey, good morning, Rome. Yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 1: that lady's the type of person to go to a
- 53:00Speaker 1: wedding wearing all white. Just the arrogance. I mean, the
- 53:09Speaker 1: arrogance to do something like that is just unbelievable. How,
- 53:15Speaker 1: what kind of demons are you fighting in your mind
- 53:18Speaker 1: to do that?
- 53:20Speaker 9: You know?
- 53:21Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Rome. Check this out. We have a
- 53:23Speaker 1: family member that went to CSUB his first four years,
- 53:26Speaker 1: so he was a roadrunner when he transferred to USC,
- 53:29Speaker 1: and now he's a Trojan, but now he doesn't claim
- 53:33Speaker 1: ever being a roadrunner from Bakersfield. It's all about USC now.
- 53:38Speaker 1: What a little punk-ass dude, man. Yeah, he a little,
- 53:41Speaker 1: you know what? You know what's funny about USC and Bakersfield?
- 53:45Speaker 1: I said this years ago when I first got, after
- 53:49Speaker 1: being in Bakersfield, wow, I ain't never seen, you know
- 53:52Speaker 1: how these clowns put their college, you know, what college
- 53:55Speaker 1: they went to on their license plate frame? Every USC
- 54:00Speaker 1: car I've ever seen in Bakersfield is always a bucket.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I ain't never seen nobody with a USC license plate
- 54:07Speaker 1: rolling in a nice ride. So I don't know what
- 54:10Speaker 1: they doing at USC. But USC's a punk-ass college anyways.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Although I do like their football team. Hell no, Romeo.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I will never wear any Wasco gear. Always up in Shafter.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Wasco sucks just like Seahawk Lou. What if your kids
- 54:26Speaker 1: went to Shafter? I mean, what if your kids went
- 54:30Speaker 1: to Wasco for some crazy reason? That's my point. I
- 54:35Speaker 1: don't know, Rome. I think this is getting turned into
- 54:40Speaker 1: a bigger situation than it is. I mean, think about it.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Everyone has been loyal to their team or school or whatever,
- 54:47Speaker 1: but how many people are actually loyal to their partner?
- 54:50Speaker 1: Just because you haven't got caught doesn't mean you're loyal.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Let her wear what she wants. You say how everyone
- 54:57Speaker 1: is just emotional wrecks in Bakersfield, but you're being irritated
- 55:03Speaker 1: by someone's fit. Yeah, I'm not irritated by it. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: think the bigger issue, I love you, Rome. I listen
- 55:11Speaker 1: every morning, but you making a mountain Everest out of
- 55:14Speaker 1: an anthill. No, that's not the point. The point about
- 55:16Speaker 1: the conversation where I'm going with it, though, is that
- 55:20Speaker 1: people aren't loyal to the people that they love. People
- 55:24Speaker 1: are more loyal to a sports team or a college
- 55:28Speaker 1: or more loyal to something other than the person that
- 55:33Speaker 1: they supposedly care about and love. That's my point about
- 55:39Speaker 1: the conversation. And the idea that this woman did this
- 55:44Speaker 1: in a setting where nobody else did it except her.
- 55:50Speaker 1: She was the only person that did something so outlandish
- 55:55Speaker 1: to stand out that it makes you question what is
- 55:59Speaker 1: wrong with her. She embarrassed herself and her partner. Everybody
- 56:05Speaker 1: else was saying the same thing that I was. Talking
- 56:07Speaker 1: behind her back. But that's my point of the conversation
- 56:12Speaker 1: is all of you are more loyal to something else
- 56:15Speaker 1: than the person you supposedly love. What did you send
- 56:18Speaker 1: me here? Yo, Rome, both Wasco and Shafter suck. Oh,
- 56:22Speaker 1: that's because somebody said they're from Wasco or Shafter would
- 56:28Speaker 1: never wear a Wasco jersey for nobody. Um.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Can I just tell you something about Wasco and Shafter,
- 56:37Speaker 1: whatever this rivalry is, because I go to the Shafter games.
- 56:41Speaker 1: I have some friends from Shafter. You guys are so
- 56:47Speaker 1: embarrassingly stupid over this rivalry. I mean, you got the
- 56:52Speaker 1: obnoxious behavior that I've seen going to watch Wasco and
- 56:55Speaker 1: Shafter play is so stupid and childish. You should be embarrassed.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You come across like a simple-minded loser in a backwards
- 57:07Speaker 1: town that's never left the city limits. And it's embarrassing.
- 57:14Speaker 1: It really is. I mean, these guys are making fun
- 57:16Speaker 1: of kids. When you start making fun of the kids
- 57:23Speaker 1: on the team or the mascots, you're an embarrassment as
- 57:28Speaker 1: a human being. You guys take it way too far.
- 57:33Speaker 1: And maybe you should get a little more cultured and
- 57:35Speaker 1: get out a little bit more. Because it really is embarrassing.
- 57:40Speaker 9: So, yeah.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And to see it firsthand makes it even worse. Boy,
- 57:45Speaker 1: it's just sad. It's just every stereotype of every small
- 57:53Speaker 1: town rivalry that makes you look like a bunch of
- 57:57Speaker 1: country bumpkins is what happens at those football games between
- 58:01Speaker 1: Shafter and Wasco. It's incredibly sad.
- 58:04Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 58:06Speaker 1: When I saw them making fun of the mascot, the kid.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Adults making fun of a kid in a mascot uniform.
- 58:15Speaker 1: That's when I had to go. I was done. Romeo!
- 58:19Speaker 1: What's up?
- 58:21Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 58:22Speaker 1: Nothing, nothing, nothing.
- 58:24Speaker 4: I'm just tuning in.
- 58:26Speaker 7: What are we talking about today?
- 58:28Speaker 1: Well, we're talking about supporting your spouse. A lot of
- 58:33Speaker 1: these people go out of their way to not support
- 58:36Speaker 1: their spouse when it comes to certain things that are important.
- 58:41Speaker 1: And I saw it play out over the weekend at
- 58:45Speaker 1: an alumni party for a college. And this woman went
- 58:49Speaker 1: out of her way to wear a different college shirt
- 58:53Speaker 1: when nobody else at the party either had regular clothes
- 58:56Speaker 1: on or represented the college in their colors or, you know,
- 58:59Speaker 1: shirt with the logo on it. But this one woman
- 59:02Speaker 1: wore something from another college, and she was the only
- 59:06Speaker 1: one out of about 500, 600 people to do it.
- 59:08Speaker 1: And so I think she was... being a jackass on purpose.
- 59:13Speaker 11: Always got to be the women stirring up the.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Pot.
- 59:19Speaker 4: I mean, supporting your spouse is critical, especially, like you said,
- 59:24Speaker 4: when it's important.
- 59:27Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's part of being a good life partner.
- 59:31Speaker 5: You're in it for the long haul. Support for greater
- 59:34Speaker 5: or for worse.
- 59:35Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 59:36Speaker 1: I totally agree with that. You have moments. Here's the thing.
- 59:40Speaker 1: What people don't understand, especially these jackasses who are football
- 59:43Speaker 1: fans or in Bakersfield, they don't realize that you have
- 59:46Speaker 1: moments in your life to support your partner in a
- 59:48Speaker 1: way that means something to them. And you don't take
- 59:51Speaker 1: that opportunity. And then you wonder why. You know, she
- 59:54Speaker 1: don't want you no more. He don't want you no more.
- 59:57Speaker 5: And then, you know, they wonder why, like, they get
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: told off or something. It's like, you are poking the.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Bear, woman. You don't think that.
- 1:00:07Speaker 10: You deserve to be spoken to.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: In a weird way?
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Like, you're poking it.
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: Like, don't be a sore loser when somebody tells you something.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point. That's a good point. Absolutely. No,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: at this party, everybody just talked behind their back. Not
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: when you say anything to her.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: And just making the husband look horrible.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Exactly. Embarrassing everybody.
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: Money can't buy you class, and elegance is learned, my friend.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling. I appreciate it. Bye, Romeo.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Talk to you later.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, that's the problem with a lot of you, though.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: There are moments in your life where you can support
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a friend, a family member, a spouse. a child in
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: a way that they never forget, even if it's a
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: little thing or something that you think is so stupid
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that it's, um, you don't even understand that. And then
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you wonder why, you know, your spouse or your friend
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: or your, or your family member or your, or your
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: kid or whoever looks at you in a way and goes,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you know what? You never cared about me. Because the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: few moments, the big moments, the, you know, times when
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you could show them with, I don't know, wearing a
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: different shirt or showing up, you know, and you didn't.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: You wonder why you come across. Nobody likes you. Or
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you don't have the happiest relationship ever.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Romeo in the morning.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Every morning.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: 94.1.
