- 0:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: So how do we how do you do that?
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: To respect means to respect my boundaries, you know?
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Like you have to figure out, you have to set boundaries, even as couples in business and as partners, and respect those boundaries from the other people, you know?
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Like I know with you and I in the beginning, that was some type of issues too, because both of us wasn't expecting each other's boundaries, you know.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Like there was the line was blur.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: There was no boundary, you know, but just to respect the person and say, okay, even though I may be in work mode, this person is not in work mode.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, even though I may want to do this, this person is not open to doing that.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: It's not that they shut the business completely or the relationship completely, but that's that's their boundaries, you know.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: I may want to go to a conference, you know, and they may not want to go to that conference, you know.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: It it or y'all can talk and figure out, you know, if you want to do it or not.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: But just respecting that person's boundary and say, okay, I respect that.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: And just setting those those boundaries up.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Because I think that's the thing.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: Like a lot of couples, they don't they don't they don't um say what their boundaries are, you know, or they don't set boundaries, they don't do all these things, and it becomes a conflict because you should you should have known I didn't want to do this.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: You should have known I didn't want that and that's how it was.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: You should have known.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: But honestly, people can't read your mind.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you gotta you gotta say it.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: You have to be able to say it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so it's all like communication.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, communication um and just to say what's what's on your mind.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what's the the boundary, like what you don't like or what you like.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Like you say, like the conference, the conference, I might be want to go to a conference, but it's not the same, it's not the same thing for you.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: So you gotta be able to say it, let the other person know.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Let the other person know.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Um this one criticism.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: Criticism could hurt both people.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Like if you don't know how to take that in, like if you don't know how to take critique.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Critique.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Now, if some if some especially if if your husband or or your your wife is critique you, they want you to become better.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Now that's why they critique you.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Um it could be how has to be a a better man, how to be a better business person, how to be like they just critique you.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you gotta be able to take that critique and and help it's gonna help us both grow.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: I don't like criticism.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't like criticism from you.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: You know, because somebody can critique me, I'm like, oh, okay, that's fine.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: But when you critique me, I feel like, man, like why?
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: He's I'm supposed to be perfect.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't understand why you don't why you don't get what I'm trying to do.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: Like, what do you mean?
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: I need to tweak that or tone that down or change that, or maybe that's not.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: And you know, and so I used to be in my feelings when you used to critique me.
