- 5:26Bangers we interviewed. Ozzy, it's like one of the
- 5:28highlights of my journalistic career as I got to interview
- 5:31Ozzy when God bless Ozzy. Osbourne came out, we've
- 5:34interviewed. Alice In Chains.

- 7:11Captain Red Eye is here. What's?
- 7:12Up lungs ruin lungs in ruin. What's up?
- 7:15Good to see you. We're here.
- 7:16Talking about Record Store Day, Black Friday vinyl.
- 7:19And also, we're giving away tickets to see, God forbid.
- 7:22So we do giveaways and contests all the time.
- 7:24We're going to do at least one more this year or we give away a
- 7:27bunch of some fun things. But we're giving away.
- 7:30Tickets to see God forbid in Brooklyn.
- 7:32Obviously, if you can't get to Brooklyn, maybe.
- 7:35Don't try to win, but if you think you live in the tri-state.
- 7:38Area or Philly or Boston and you can get down.
- 7:42God forbid bleeding through darkest hour at Dora not.
- 7:46Completely in that order, but. What a what a sick, absolute
- 7:49sick show they're doing 3. Of these, the Brooklyn.
- 7:51One is the one we're giving. Tickets away too, so there's our
- 7:54cash. App So let's talk vinyl man.
- 7:57I am a personally a big vinyl collector.
- 7:59I never thought vinyl was going to make such a huge comeback,
- 8:02but obviously the last 10 or 15 years vinyl has been back with a
- 8:04vengeance. You'd be surprised to learn that
- 8:07some of your favorite records. Yeah.
- 8:08Tipsy ha ha. What's up And Brink Ben is here.
- 8:12What's up? You know we're.
- 8:13Big vinyl fans, it seems like a. Lot of people I know, there's
- 8:16like a statistic. Out there that 50%?
- 8:18Of people that do collect vinyl don't really play them, they
- 8:22just buy them to support bands they love, which I think is
- 8:26fucking cool at. The same time I.
- 8:30I don't. We don't really cater, you know,
- 8:33like I understand that everything in these very tough
- 8:36economic times, people are looking to flip things for
- 8:40money, whether it's crypto or NFTS or whatever it is.
- 8:45I'm. Not really into flip culture.
- 8:46If you are, that's cool. I'm not against capitalism
- 8:50mostly I am. I think it's, you know, dying
- 8:53off. But I do like records.
- 8:54This is the passion of mine. One of the few things I love is.
- 8:57Music. And Andrew Contrera is here, so
- 9:01we're going to talk about vinyl once again.
- 9:03If you've got vinyl, if you love vinyl, if you're.
- 9:06Curious about Record Store Day? Black Friday?
- 9:08We're going to do Mystify it all for you right now.
- 9:12OK, so. Also, I have a vinyl podcast.
- 9:16I mentioned that before the Glacially Musical podcast, we
- 9:18just did a whole series on Alice In Chains.
- 9:21We are doing a new series starting this week on Queens
- 9:25Reich and we spend a lot of time talking about buying vinyl,
- 9:29caring for your vinyl, finding vinyl in the wild, developments
- 9:33in the vinyl industry, how it relates to rock and metal bands,
- 9:36and sometimes. You know the effects.
- 9:39Of the larger music community on the metal.
- 9:41Audience So if that's what you're into you you go check out
- 9:45our podcast or the glacial musical podcast all.
- 9:49Right, First things first, the first vinyl I have to unbox it's
- 9:53brand new is not a record story, but Black Friday vinyl.
- 9:56But what it is is it's. New.
- 9:59Now, so this was just released on the 14th.
- 10:02Today, as I record, this is the 25th.
- 10:04And this is one of. My most anticipated vinyl
- 10:06releases of the year and this is a day to remember.
- 10:10What separates me? From you This is the 15th
- 10:13anniversary Limited edition reissues has been remixed I
- 10:16believe. In remastered for vinyl produced
- 10:19by Chad Gilbert. And.
- 10:22You know, A Day to Remember is one of the biggest names in
- 10:24metal core and really helped kind of proliferate this
- 10:28metallic hardcore in metal core, right?
- 10:30And. They do a great.
- 10:31Job with their reissues they have put out a record store day
- 10:35release. Every.
- 10:36Year for the last three or four, Three out of five years, let's
- 10:39say. And they've sent us a few.
- 10:41Shout out again all three of these.
- 10:43Releases today that I'm. Going to unbox on.
- 10:45This video are from craft recordings so we do a lot of
- 10:48stuff with they do a lot of re issues but they also.
- 10:51By. The catalogs, they do catalog re
- 10:54issues, that's their specialty and they team up with bands and
- 10:59you know, put out these. Incredible.
- 11:04You know, they put out these incredible reissue packages, not
- 11:10just the record itself, beautifully repressed and
- 11:13reprinted, but also a lot of fun stuff with it.
- 11:15So this is the. 15th anniversary Little, limited edition.
- 11:20A gold certified album featuring all I want, all signs point to
- 11:25Lauderdale Second sucks and. More special anniversary artwork
- 11:31plus a. Bonus acoustic take of all I
- 11:33want. To be hit.
- 11:34Single on transparent sea. Glass.
- 11:37Vinyl. I.
- 11:38Will confess that you know certain types of collectors are
- 11:42looking hey rubber band man what's up bro we're talking
- 11:44about record store day Black Friday I have 3 vinyls to unbox
- 11:47and look at and then I'm going to talk about my pull list
- 11:50specifically for rock and. Metal and punk.
- 11:53So I got this A day to remember vinyl.
- 11:55It is not a Record Store Day Black Friday vinyl, but it is.
- 11:58Out now you can get it at. Your favorite record store or
- 12:01from the band, or from Craft Recordings.
- 12:03And shout out to Craft Recordings for always partnering
- 12:05with us and hooking it up. And of course.
- 12:08I don't have my little. Vinyl Tool with me to open these
- 12:11things. So we're going to improvise
- 12:13because that's what we do. Like MacGyver, that shit.
- 12:16I. Grew up poor so we learn how to
- 12:18do shit the hard way sometimes, but I'm affected.
- 12:22At the very least I could have opened these all up first.
- 12:24I. Didn't I'm just trying to show
- 12:25you authentically how I how much I care about these things.
- 12:29All right, so a day to remember, you know, pretty excellent band.
- 12:34Ghost Cult has covered them a few times.
- 12:35What's up, rubber band? Man.
- 12:37Listen, I appreciate the DMS this week and last, my man, I
- 12:41don't know, do you collect vinyl?
- 12:42Rubber band, man? I was saying earlier if you've
- 12:45got like a favorite in your collection or a particular band.
- 12:48That. You're passionate about or a
- 12:50Holy Grail record? I love talking about these.
- 12:52Maybe we'll jump on sometime and do a Holy Grail live stream and
- 12:56talk about the things. I wish I had in my collection.
- 12:58I don't. I'm not one of these people.
- 13:01That once a certain original press about a certain year cut
- 13:06in a certain factory. I just wanted to play well, so I
- 13:09tend to buy new stuff. Yo, Trans-siberian orchestra in
- 13:11central Cali. Sick.
- 13:14Big TSO fan, you know. We have an interview with I.
- 13:18Also still have a ton of. C DS Not as many as I used.
- 13:20To We interviewed Chris Caffrey about his solo album recently
- 13:25and TSO. And a whole.
- 13:26Bunch of other sabotage love. To see sabotage.
- 13:29Make a comeback at some point, so.
- 13:30First things first, let's talk. About this vinyl, it's in the
- 13:34this. Metallic, beautiful silver
- 13:35sleeve. I don't think this had a vinyl.
- 13:38Release. When it came out and it's a
- 13:40pretty short album, you know, kind of like 11 songs, you know,
- 13:45a day to remember. Is known for their brevity.
- 13:47They. Care about brevity anyway.
- 13:50Comes with the insert sheet this.
- 13:52Is pretty killer with the inside artwork and some credits.
- 13:58Very nice craft. Recordings really cares about
- 14:01their vinyl, so this comes in the paper with the mylar inside.
- 14:05I tell everybody you want to get outside mylar for your sleeves.
- 14:08And you want to get this inner. Mylar.
- 14:11To. Protect your vinyl from static
- 14:14and dust. Not the papers, these when they
- 14:17come just with the paper. You throw them out.
- 14:19So let's take a look at this beautiful.
- 14:21This is a sea glass. Green this.
- 14:24Looks fucking dope. I'm going to.
- 14:26Hold it over my face a little bit.
- 14:27So everybody can see it fucking. Dope.
- 14:31I can't wait this beautifully pressed this thing looks it's.
- 14:34Brand new, so of course it's Immaculate again, I don't buy.
- 14:37A lot of things that are not. Brand new.
- 14:40Once in a while I'll find something.
- 14:41I found a used Led Zeppelin vinyl.
- 14:44Wasn't mint, but it was pretty. Fucking sweet, I got to say.
- 14:48And. If it was meant it would have
- 14:53been worth like 400 bucks but I was just.
- 14:54Stoked to have it. As much as I love.
- 14:57Led Zeppelin. I don't have a lot of Led
- 14:58Zeppelin on vinyl. We're going to talk about Led
- 14:59Zeppelin when I do the pull list.
- 15:01Because there's a Zeppelin. Release.
- 15:03For Record Store Day, Black Friday 2nd.
- 15:05Release sent to me by Craft Recordings coming out this
- 15:08Friday. This is a record store day,
- 15:09Black Friday. And.
- 15:11This is. Punk.
- 15:13Goes Acoustic. Limited edition Black Friday
- 15:16record release. On translucent yellow vinyl
- 15:20Thrice yellow card Sugar Coat Finch Thursday, The starting
- 15:23line, The Atari's Taking Back Sunday, Rise Against and Rufio.
- 15:28The Punk Goes series is extremely popular with your.
- 15:32You know. Gen.
- 15:33Z and alpha emos and and elder emos and young emos.
- 15:40You know, I like some of these bands I love Rise against.
- 15:43And I like Thursday. And yellow card and Bryce quite
- 15:46a lot. The Ataris are always solid
- 15:48taking back. Sunday is great.
- 15:50Starting lines, Decent Sugar Coat and Finch are OK.
- 15:54I know that I'm not the demographic they're going for,
- 15:57but you know what? You're going to do Boston.
- 15:59Mufuck is here. What's up?
- 16:00Ramadil Pickle is here. What's up?
- 16:02Whoa, it's Kells. How are you?
- 16:04Great to see people popping in on the TikTok so I'm going to
- 16:08open this guy up. And again, shout out.
- 16:12Always to craft recordings for looking out for us and, you
- 16:15know, humbling. Us with some stuff.
- 16:17I have quite a lot of vinyl videos to do so then the
- 16:21question becomes I need to write reviews of these.
- 16:24Albums, but I also need to do content.
- 16:27I hate that. Word.
- 16:28But I need to make content around these things.
- 16:30What? Would you prefer?
- 16:31Would you like these live? Streams.
- 16:33Or would you prefer me to professionally record these and
- 16:36have my partner edit? Them and then share them there,
- 16:40but that's always a possibility with.
- 16:41These. I do try to.
- 16:43RIP the hype sticker. I do try to keep these intact.
- 16:49OK, so here's the punk goes acoustic.
- 16:53Pretty killer. And.
- 16:54Again, craft recording is always doing a nice job on these.
- 16:58With the packaging all. Of these are probably on
- 17:01streaming. Of course.
- 17:02The Day to Remember album is been on streaming for some time
- 17:05once again. With the insert it's got the
- 17:08track listing. If you're curious I can read it.
- 17:11It's got a little info on it. Thrice Trust, yellow card, Fire
- 17:15Water. Probably one of their best
- 17:17songs. Sugar Cult memory Finch letters
- 17:19to you. They're a big classic.
- 17:21Thursday, a Hole in the World, recorded at the great Big Blue
- 17:25Meanie Studios in New Jersey. We used to go to as I, when I
- 17:28was a kid, the starting line playing favorites, the Atari's
- 17:30Eight of nine. Taking.
- 17:32Back Sunday. Cute without the E.
- 17:34You know what's up? Cut from the team.
- 17:36Rise Against Swing Life Away, one of their best songs and of
- 17:39course they do it unplugged sometimes and Rufio over it.
- 17:42I'm too familiar with them. Or Rufio.
- 17:45Maybe I have the accent wrong, Fool.
- 17:47Fighters fool fighters and. Again.
- 17:50In the paper with the mylar. Inside, if it's just the plain
- 17:53paper SH. Throw it away.
- 17:54RIP it up and throw it away. But if?
- 17:55It's the paper with the. Mylar, you want it all right?
- 18:04And then here's this beautiful. Translucent yellow with the
- 18:08center kind of hollowed out there.
- 18:10Gorgeous looking, huh? Nice a nice.
- 18:14Change of pace when I'm not listening to death metal,
- 18:16whatever else the fuck I'm listening to.
- 18:18And then last and never least, do not laugh.
- 18:22But. I have my first ever vinyl from
- 18:25the band Creed and. Why would you?
- 18:29You know. Creed gets a lot of shit, but I
- 18:30feel like people secretly it's like Limp Bizkit and Nickelback.
- 18:34Secretly, people love this band. I understand not everybody is
- 18:38down with religion and creed. Is definitely, you know, very
- 18:42overtly religious, especially Scott stabbing front person.
- 18:46But I feel like this first of all.
- 18:48Not only is this a Creed live album, which I don't believe
- 18:51they had an official live release, this is like right from
- 18:55the peak early hits of Creed, their first record or two.
- 18:59And. So this was like a very bootleg
- 19:01Limewire release back in the day.
- 19:04Creed live in San Antonio from their 1990. 1999 Tour.
- 19:09So this features Are you ready Ode torn beautiful illusions.
- 19:13Say I my own prison. What if, with arms wide open,
- 19:18faceless man, what's this life for one and higher?
- 19:22November 4th, 1999. Recorded at the Raymond.
- 19:25Coliseum in San Antonio, TX. I'll tell you man, Creed's
- 19:31comeback has been nothing short of surprising, and if they were
- 19:34ever to put out a new record and it was good, it would probably
- 19:36do gangbusters. They.
- 19:37Have sold out I think 4 cruises and two.
- 19:42In. Two North American tours.
- 19:45Of everyday sold out so you know they've been it's been wild to
- 19:50see amphitheaters and arenas. Again, I think a lot of people
- 19:54make fun of Creed, but I think you know Creed, you know if.
- 19:57I'm in the mood for. Creed, I won't be mad if it
- 19:59comes on. I don't put it.
- 20:01On but it I won't be mad if it comes on and.
- 20:03Now I have a creed on. Vibe which I had never had but
- 20:07like I said I'm sitting on a lot of stuff.
- 20:09If you've been watching or other videos, I got sent The Smashing
- 20:12Pumpkins Ginormous Melancholy Box set 6LP.
- 20:16Box set. I have to do something.
- 20:17I have to. Review it and do some stuff
- 20:19around it. So.
- 20:20Here's the Creed Vinyl Creed. Live.
- 20:22In the double gate. Fold like kiss with the big
- 20:26photo. The back cover with the song
- 20:29tracks and then here's the inside stuff.
- 20:31So let's see again, vinyl one and vinyl. 2.
- 20:42Try to be careful extricating these things.
- 20:45Damage them. No.
- 20:49Insert here, but that's OK. Oh, these are fun.
- 20:58These. Are these are hella fun?
- 21:00Let's see. OK, I.
- 21:06Believe this is like a smoky clear vinyl.
- 21:08Smoke pattern vinyl. Look at this.
- 21:10Guys hella nice right beautiful. I think this is a pretty.
- 21:16Killer. So.
- 21:19If you've got a creed. Fan in your life or you?
- 21:21Are that Creed fan in your life? Maybe.
- 21:24This one is for you on Record Store Day, Black Friday.
- 21:27So just to explain a little bit more about it, again, record.
- 21:31Store Day Black Friday was created to bring.
- 21:34People. Into stores?
- 21:36Not necessarily. You know, people that keep local
- 21:38record stores alive. And a whole.
- 21:41Consortium. Consortium of small businesses.
- 21:44Felt. Like they were not getting
- 21:47enough people to come in and so they banded together and then
- 21:52what happened is the bigger part of the music.
- 21:54Industry saw that and was like. Oh, what a cool opportunity.
- 21:58For. Every record store in the world
- 22:00to be part of this but you know there's.
- 22:01Some definite downsides to it and on.
- 22:03Our other podcast. The Glacially Musical podcast we
- 22:06have talked about Why? Why?
- 22:08And what this? Is so.
- 22:11Now that I did the three unboxings and they were all
- 22:14pretty bagging and I'm appreciative.
- 22:16Of having all of them and I'll get some reviews out soon.
- 22:18Let's talk about my pull list. But I also want to say just
- 22:21here's how most record store days do Black Friday scooters
- 22:26here. What's up, Scooter?
- 22:26A little. Midweek frivolity.
- 22:29I'm talking about record store day, Black Friday.
- 22:30I just unboxed 3 vinyls that were sent to me early.
- 22:35Not one was, not strictly. A Record Store Day Black Friday
- 22:38release and I have some other Black Friday ones.
- 22:42Wimpy World. Join the conversation.
- 22:46Anyway, we're talking about vinyl anyway, So what?
- 22:57Record stores generally do if some of them are participating.
- 23:01Where it's limited, right? These are limited releases.
- 23:05Some of them have many thousands of releases, some of them very
- 23:08few, but. The main thing is the.
- 23:10Bigger record stores will have you come in at midnight, so
- 23:13Thanksgiving night at midnight or late earlier in the.
- 23:17Evening line up get a number or. Given your list.
- 23:20And then? Come back the next day and pick
- 23:22up your records or come in and shop for whatever's left.
- 23:26Other record stores are just kind of operating like any
- 23:28other. Friday open at their regular.
- 23:29Hours and if they got any other record store day records.
- 23:32Then they'll gladly sell you them so you know.
- 23:39Some people like myself, I don't necessarily love the competitive
- 23:42nature of that. And I'm like finding records in
- 23:45the stacks. That's how my routine.
- 23:47Is I go to the record store, I know what I have.
- 23:49I know what I don't have and if I I'm looking for something new,
- 23:52I might pick up something new. In.
- 23:55The past it seems like. We have talked about on the
- 23:59other show. That.
- 24:00Record store, they kind of needs to change.
- 24:03Because what you'll see is there's.
- 24:05A lot of these kind of lives, things that used to be
- 24:08considered bootlegs, but now they're official by the band
- 24:11live records and unplugs and remixes and certain things and.
- 24:16Mirrored. One offs and I just don't know
- 24:18if the regular record buying fan wants this.
- 24:22And I also don't know if you're. Getting.
- 24:25People, extra new people to come in because of these things and
- 24:29we'll talk about that a little. Bit but here's the pull list I
- 24:32put together. Of metal, rock and punk and some
- 24:35other things that I. Might be interested in and maybe
- 24:37you will be too. So I got Punk O's acoustic.
- 24:41I got the Creed. And now for the pull list.
- 24:44And let's talk about these things for a second.
- 24:48First off and probably my number one and two things that I'm
- 24:52looking to get is a seasonal risk.
- 24:57This is their 30th anniversary. Album I am super stoked on.
- 25:03I love this band. We have a recent interview with
- 25:06Steve of Season The Risk. This is in a perfect world.
- 25:09Put. Out in 1995.
- 25:11This is the 30th anniversary out on Spartan Records.
- 25:14They already had a new record earlier the year.
- 25:15It's one of my favorite records of the year. 1800 Meltdown.
- 25:18I saw the band multiple times on this tour these first few years
- 25:22originally. Produced by Martin BC, who I've
- 25:25interviewed before. One of the greatest producers in
- 25:28in early avant-garde alternative rock and metal.
- 25:31Sonic Youth Swans Helmet. Classic helmet records baby blue
- 25:36vinyl. It's only 1500 copies.
- 25:38Don't know if the stores I'm going to get to will have it,
- 25:41but I'm looking for this. Number one with a bullet and
- 25:44then this other one is. Super interesting.
- 25:49Pelican is putting out a three LP collection of two of their.
- 25:54Records what we've all come to need and ephemeral this.
- 25:58Is on Southern Lord 1600 again, not that many when you think of
- 26:02the thousands of record stores probably participating in record
- 26:05store. So what?
- 26:07We all come. To Need is the fourth album from
- 26:09the post Metal icons Pelican. Originally released in 2009.
- 26:12It's the most popular album in the band's catalog, and it's
- 26:16been out of print on vinyl for a decade.
- 26:18So this has been. Coming for a long time.
- 26:20Plus, the exclusive deluxe version contains the EP, the
- 26:23proceed of the album Ephemeral, which I love.
- 26:26Dylan Carlson of Earth on guitar for the Band's interpretation or
- 26:29interpolation of the Earth track Geometry Murder.
- 26:33Which is probably. The best Earth track the.
- 26:35Ephemeral EP has been unavailable on vinyl for 15
- 26:37years. I certainly never had it.
- 26:39So. I would love to have this.
- 26:42It's probably going to be 60 or 70 bucks honestly for.
- 26:46Three LP's, basically. For an EP and an LP together,
- 26:49which you know could be cost prohibitive to some people.
- 26:53But. I'm into it.
- 26:55I'm super into it, so let's see that's number.
- 27:00One and two on my list personally and number one and
- 27:03two with a. Bullet if I can only.
- 27:04Get one of them. I would really love to have the
- 27:06season to risk. But if I could get both, that
- 27:09will be a win. Also for metal heads and
- 27:12rockers, slow burn. Amusing the amazing and
- 27:17municipal ways. Massive, aggressive, so slow
- 27:20burn in. Case you didn't know is one of
- 27:22the most important. Bands in the Stoner rock genre
- 27:24if. You've been following these
- 27:25live. Streams you know that I have
- 27:27been doing. A lot of stuff with the Mojave.
- 27:29Experience and slow. Burn singer is John Garcia.
- 27:32Of Caius as well as Unita and a bunch of other things Caius libs
- 27:36that he had and so slow burn. This album is amazing.
- 27:40I was a huge fan of this. I had it on cassette back in the
- 27:43day. Only 1500.
- 27:47Amusing. The amazing is a four.
- 27:48Song EP by American stone rock band Slowburn, originally
- 27:51released in 1997 by Malicious Vinyl Band.
- 27:54Is fronted by John Garcia. Included guitarist Chris Hayes,
- 27:58bassist Damon Garrison and drummer Brady Houghton.
- 28:02Co produced by. Slowburn and Chris Goss of
- 28:04Masters Reality who with a 6° of separation We interviewed Chris.
- 28:11Goss this year. Fucking Slayer.
- 28:15Is also here. Blue October is here.
- 28:17Elizabeth has passed by. Thank you for being by.
- 28:19I appreciate you all. This is amazing and you know,
- 28:23kind of a need to have. If you're a Stoner and a rock
- 28:25fan and a Stoner metal fan. Also municipal waste.
- 28:29Massive aggressive. One of their best albums.
- 28:32This is a vinyl re release. 15th anniversary vinyl re release I
- 28:37believe. Municipal waste is kind of on a
- 28:41hiatus for 2025. They.
- 28:43Have put out final. For their last bunch of albums.
- 28:46But this is pretty fucking rad. I wouldn't be mad at picking
- 28:50this up for a reasonable price. And what I consider a.
- 28:55Reasonable price for a record store day release is 20. 5 to
- 28:5835. Dollars for a you know, 25 bucks
- 29:01for at least a single LP. And for a double vinyl LP, 35 to
- 29:0540 tops. Unless it's something really.
- 29:08Rare or. Special which some of these
- 29:11aren't as I've talked about so. Also on my list, not high in.
- 29:18Priority, but maybe for you. In Flames has a live release and
- 29:22this is fairly interesting. This is 2024 live album making
- 29:27an exclusive Record Store Day release.
- 29:30Have my notes here somewhere. Here it is breathing.
- 29:37Fire in Flames Live 2024 Limited to 22150 records so it's a
- 29:43little more. Recorded over the band's. 2024
- 29:46Worldwide tour which I sold them supporting their latest full
- 29:48length record for Gone which was fucking badass.
- 29:51One of our top albums of the year last year.
- 29:53Breathing Fire in Flames Live 2024 is a limited edition
- 29:56picture disc. With some of the band's most
- 29:59popular trends. Officially limited to 4500
- 30:03worldwide, Which? Means 2250 are in record stores
- 30:06and 2250 are. Available.
- 30:08From Nuclear Blast. Now what I will tell.
- 30:10You and you'll hear me say this often.
- 30:12I don't love picture. Discs.
- 30:13We talk a lot on the Glacial Musical podcast.
- 30:16I know picture discs look cool, and they're marketed as this
- 30:19cool thing to have I. Don't love them they.
- 30:23Don't necessarily sound any better and.
- 30:26I think that. That, you know, they don't.
- 30:29Make me need to have. One TKK freedom this year.
- 30:32Thanks for liking the live. Appreciate you.
- 30:35Pissing razors? What up?
- 30:36What up? We're talking about some Record
- 30:38Store Day Black Friday stuff. Another record coming out with a
- 30:45release for Record Store Day Black Friday is Ghost Skeleton,
- 30:51the picture disc version 5. 1000 copies.
- 30:55Are they going to sell 5000 of these?
- 30:57Maybe they think they are because ghost is hella popular
- 30:59and. Their.
- 31:00Fan base is insane. I saw one of the first ghost
- 31:03shows ever in America and we had the first English language.
- 31:07Interview with Tobias. So I'm really proud of it when
- 31:10we had a magazine. Ghost 6th Song Skeleton is its
- 31:14most unflinchingly introspective work to date.
- 31:17Previous albums that largely with chronicling and observing
- 31:19the outward facing world skeletons lyrics remain distinct
- 31:23individual motion vistas. Of each of its 10 songs in a
- 31:27one-on-one fashion, as if a dialogue oneself in a mirror.
- 31:30Very pretentious description. Limited edition picture disc
- 31:34vinyl presented exclusively for Record Store Day.
- 31:37Black Friday means it's only available in record stores.
- 31:41No extra tracks. I don't.
- 31:42Again, don't need a picture disc.
- 31:44If you haven't picked this up and you like ghosts, maybe you
- 31:46should get this. I already have I think a purple.
- 31:50Mist vinyl version of this so I am good yo.
- 31:55But maybe you want it. Maybe you?
- 31:56Love ghosts and you want to buy everything you.
- 32:01Make Led Zeppelin trampled under foot.
- 32:03This is interesting. This was supposed to come out in
- 32:05September and then they pulled it back.
- 32:08It was available on Amazon very briefly and then they canceled
- 32:11orders. And they decided to make it a
- 32:13Record Store Day Black Friday issue.
- 32:15Now what this is, is a anniversary 50th anniversary
- 32:21reissue. Of.
- 32:23The single of Trampled Under Foot.
- 32:25Now, I was a little kid when this record came out originally.
- 32:29Do I? Need this.
- 32:30No, there's going to be 6100 of these.
- 32:33At Record Store Day, Black Friday.
- 32:36If. I see it and it's reasonably
- 32:38priced. I will get it.
- 32:40If it's like $40.00 for two tracks, I will not get it.
- 32:44It's supposed to be lovingly recreated from the original Swan
- 32:48Song 45. That sounds cool to me. 7 inch.
- 32:51I would like to have it, but not at a high price.
- 32:55The. Original UK 7 inch.
- 32:57Side one trampled under foot. Side 2 Black Country women.
- 33:01This has to be fairly priced for it to matter.
- 33:04Shut up, Meg. What up Meg?
- 33:05How are you? I'm talking.
- 33:07About records today, Black Friday.
- 33:09I love Led Zeppelin. I just told the story about
- 33:12getting that in through the outdoor, miraculously almost.
- 33:15Quite. Almost meant I don't.
- 33:18Need this if it's not fairly priced.
- 33:21That's some of the problem with records today and records today.
- 33:23Black Friday moving. On more rock.
- 33:28And heavy metal Alice Cooper live This is an interesting.
- 33:31One a lot of records today stuff is live and we'll have some more
- 33:36live ones to talk about in just a second.
- 33:37But so this is Alice Cooper. This was like.
- 33:43In the Limewire Bear Share era, like one of the most bootleg
- 33:48things, and this was like a bootleg videotape and a bootleg
- 33:52cassette tape and CD. For years and years I used to
- 33:55see this on eBay. Welcome.
- 33:57To my nightmare live from the forum in.
- 33:59LA 6/17/1975 S Peak Alice Cooper and Alice Cooper Band 50th
- 34:04anniversary of of welcome to my nightmare, the debut.
- 34:08Great set list I. Remember listening to this One
- 34:12of the most over the top tours of all time.
- 34:15Great. Set list all the big hits.
- 34:17Couple of deep cuts, but mostly the big stuff.
- 34:21It has kind of everything. So I.
- 34:24Think everything is on here except.
- 34:26Yeah. Everything is on.
- 34:27Everything you would want is on here.
- 34:28I just saw. Alice and except for a few.
- 34:31More modern songs, all of this. Was represented just about in
- 34:35the set list, so. I mean if you love Alice.
- 34:38And I don't think he's had an official live.
- 34:40Maybe he's had one live album officially.
- 34:44This might be the one for you. I would probably get this if I
- 34:46come across it. And I think it'll probably be 35
- 34:48to 40 bucks, but I would buy it. Also coming out for Record Store
- 34:53Day, Black Friday, Rockology by Eric Carr.
- 34:55There's also a second Eric Carr release.
- 34:57So Eric Carr had two solo albums.
- 34:59And what happened is Eric Carr's sister.
- 35:02Who's the sort of executor of his estate from his death?
- 35:07A lot of. People don't know this Eric Carr
- 35:08of KISS. Thanks Meg, I love your.
- 35:12Face too. I appreciate you.
- 35:13I know it's late and I appreciate you.
- 35:15Messaging me, it's been a tough. Week, but I'm thankful.
- 35:18If I have to get bad news, it's from you.
- 35:20Send my best to Justin, you know.
- 35:24Eric Carr passed away the same day as Freddie Mercury and Gene
- 35:27has always been he like love Queen.
- 35:29And toward with Kiss, toward with Queen and.
- 35:31And he just felt that like, you know, Eric Carr's death was
- 35:34overshadowed, of course, because of Freddie Mercury.
- 35:38And but Eric Carr, an incredible drummer, played on a.
- 35:40Lot of the 80s KISS stuff. His drumming was incredible.
- 35:45His drumming on Creatures of the Night is amazing.
- 35:49The rest of the 80s kiss. Stuff is not that good, but it's
- 35:51not because of him and his solo stuff.
- 35:53Featured Bruce Kulick from Kiss Up and through the.
- 35:57You know, mid 90s before the reunion.
- 35:59And. So this rockology is meant to
- 36:02look. Like the Kiss solo albums?
- 36:04That came out in 1970. 8 So they fashioned it with the orange
- 36:08aura that the fox makeup had. And is, you know, worked with
- 36:12KISS to get their, you know, permission to make it look like
- 36:15another Kiss solo album. This is you can get this for
- 36:19like. No money on like very cheaply.
- 36:23But maybe. Not the best copy quality on
- 36:25eBay and disc cons but this is like liquid filled vinyl you're.
- 36:29Seeing a lot of this now. Slayer did a blood 1.
- 36:31Gore did a snot. Green 1 Rob Zombie has a snot
- 36:34green one or John 5 I think. I don't need a liquid filled
- 36:40vinyl, it looks cool when it plays.
- 36:41Does it make it sound any better?
- 36:43No. It might actually make it sound
- 36:44worse, which I am sorry for. Thanks for showing us some love
- 36:49pissing razors. I love seeing that.
- 36:51Thank you. And so, yeah, you know, if
- 36:56you're a die. Hard kiss fan.
- 36:57Especially because Ace just died and it might be like.
- 37:00Top of mind for you, Maybe go get this, I don't need it.
- 37:03If I see it and it's cheap. Maybe I'll get it, but I.
- 37:07Don't need to have it, you know, And there's two Eric Carr
- 37:10records out. One's a picture disc.
- 37:11And one is this liquid filled? Vinyl I.
- 37:13Don't know. Speaking of live albums.
- 37:16No one asks for Ramones. Live 1977 Now I am the person I
- 37:22as you can see behind. Me.
- 37:23There's a Ramones flag right over my head.
- 37:26I. Love the Ramones, I'm from New
- 37:27York. City I played CV GB S.
- 37:29I worshipped the Ramones. I saw them a couple of times.
- 37:33And I got to be honest. The every record store day has a
- 37:37live Ramones and a live Motörhead.
- 37:39There's a live Motörhead on this one and I didn't even include it
- 37:41because I don't need it. Gorgeous.
- 37:45Looking red color mix from the soundboard remastered for vinyl.
- 37:49Cool, cool, cool. If you love the Ramones and you
- 37:51have one live Ramones record, you don't need them all.
- 37:55If you don't have any live Ramones records or no Ramones
- 37:58records, I always say that a greatest hits or a live concert
- 38:01is a great way to experience a band and then decide, oh I need
- 38:04to get these Ramones. I always say you need the first
- 38:06four or five Ramones records and nothing else.
- 38:09But. That's me also.
- 38:11This is a little more. Interesting, Is this bad rains?
- 38:14Live at the Bayou. So this is a brand?
- 38:17New never heard before discovered live.
- 38:20Concert from 1981 at the Bayou. Club in Washington DC this is
- 38:25the show after the show they were banned at when they were
- 38:28banned from a different club. And.
- 38:31Then they made Band in DC. So this is before Band in DC
- 38:36comes out. This is before any Bad Brains
- 38:38album is released, and this might be interesting to have
- 38:41now. I'm sure the quality is not
- 38:42going to be great. But.
- 38:44If you're a historian or you love punk rock and again,
- 38:47Ramones, Bad Brains, Crow Mags, Agnostic Front, old school
- 38:51hardcore and punk. This.
- 38:53Is kind of where it all begins for American punk and you know
- 38:59maybe go get this Bad Brains record I'd.
- 39:03Be interested to hear it just to hear how they are playing the
- 39:06songs arranging wise before they end up on the record that would
- 39:10be. Interesting to me, but again,
- 39:12how much is this going to cost us on a brand new record label?
- 39:14Which always makes me a little nervous, but the guy apparently.
- 39:17Loves the band. And.
- 39:20That's cool. So good.
- 39:23Luck on that one I'm trying. To see if I have the how many is
- 39:26available information here It is 2500 so not that many, only in
- 39:36stores. Two LP time traveler recordings,
- 39:38a brand new label so it always. Makes me a little nervous but.
- 39:41Live at the Bayou showcases some of the earliest live
- 39:43performances. From.
- 39:44Bad. Brains and predates their 82
- 39:47self-titled debut snapshot of the band's burgeoning
- 39:49beginnings, which previously. Unreleased recordings from 1881
- 39:52recorded at the Bayou. In Washington, DC were captured
- 39:55between the band being. Unofficially.
- 39:58Banned and relocated in New York City.
- 40:00Historically significant time, I think, Rollins.
- 40:03Was at one of these shows. Too as a fan.
- 40:07He left his job at Haagen Dazs and went to this show and he
- 40:09never came back. This is one of the first.
- 40:12Non jazz releases by the newly formed Time Traveler Records,
- 40:15Limited edition, 180 gram 2LP, Transferred from the original
- 40:19tapes and mastered by Don Z and Tara.
- 40:22Very cool, very cool. Great set list on here too. 15
- 40:26songs. Probably in like 20. 5 minutes.
- 40:30All right, moving right along. Hey, skull bashers here.
- 40:37What's up, skull bashers? And Tracy?
- 40:42You got a fun. Screen name.
- 40:43I'm going to shout it out. This is pretty cool.
- 40:46I don't know if you are familiar with the thrash metal band Otto.
- 40:49Otto is the band with three TS that features Robert Trujillosa
- 40:53tie. You probably know Todd Trujillo
- 40:55from being the bassist of Suicidal Tendencies.
- 40:57He's also done several tours as the fill in bassist with corn
- 41:02and. Otto.
- 41:03Is a crossover. Thrash band in the vein of
- 41:06Suicidal Tendencies in from Venice Beach, where they live
- 41:10and this is. The.
- 41:13Sweaty pool EP and features a. Song.
- 41:16These are all four new originals.
- 41:18The band has put out a few. Record Store Day Black Friday
- 41:21releases a record. Store day and record store day.
- 41:23Black Friday. I have one of them.
- 41:25And, you know, they are kind of generally considered the best of
- 41:29the bands of the children of Metallica and.
- 41:33Sweaty Pool does feature a song with Nick Oliveri, formerly of
- 41:37Caius and Queens of the Stone Age on lead vocals, so that's
- 41:39kind of interesting. And as AEP it might be
- 41:42reasonably priced like 25 bucks or.
- 41:44Something. 20 or 25 bucks. So I might get this if I saw it.
- 41:48But we'll see Do. You like Post Malone and Post
- 41:52Malone's country albums? Well.
- 41:54Post Malone's most recent country album like F 1 million
- 41:58or whatever the fuck it's called.
- 42:00Is coming out for. Exclusive Black Friday release
- 42:02Postie. Is one of the Black Friday
- 42:05record. Store Day Ambassadors for the
- 42:07year. Again, I talked.
- 42:09About these pop stars, I think the appetite to have these
- 42:12records is not there because I was at the record store just a
- 42:16few weeks ago and they still can't get rid of the record
- 42:19store day and record study Black Friday stuff from 24 which had
- 42:24like post Malone and. Chapel Rome, who has an album
- 42:28coming out for record? Store day, Black Friday, so I
- 42:31just don't know. In terms of the value.
- 42:34But if you love. Posty and you didn't get this on
- 42:36vinyl yet? Get this OK.
- 42:41Just a few more. Not a one for me but Van Halen
- 42:46live at Wembley Stadium 1995. I am on record as not being a
- 42:50fan of Sammy Hagar. I know some people love Sammy
- 42:53Hagar much more than David. He's a better singer.
- 42:55It's like Dio and Ozzy. I don't love Sammy Hagar.
- 42:59That being said, if you love Sammy Hagar, this concert from
- 43:021995 Van Halen has very few live records officially.
- 43:07So. Them kind of Co signing this
- 43:09release is very interesting and it does have a banger set list.
- 43:14I looked and you know. Maybe this is a thing for you if
- 43:18you're a Van Halen. Completest.
- 43:19A lot of people love Edward his. Guitar playing is incredible.
- 43:226000 copies. Who's going to buy this?
- 43:25I don't think there is 6000 Sammy Hagar fans to me but OK.
- 43:29Live from Wembley. 1995 spotlights.
- 43:31Van Halen live in concert from London's Wembley Stadium on the
- 43:34Balance tour. The.
- 43:36Explosive 8 song performance recorded on June 24th, 1995.
- 43:40And pressed on translucent orange crushed vinyl.
- 43:43Features an anthemic mix of the band.
- 43:45'S biggest hits and deep cuts. Not even that many songs to be
- 43:51honest with you. 12345678 songs on 2LP's Yikes.
- 44:00OK cool cool guys. It does have a guitar solo.
- 44:07I don't need this but. If you love Van.
- 44:09Hagar, good on you. I'm not a fan, I'm just not a
- 44:14fan, but OK. Also, this is kind of
- 44:19interesting. Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music
- 44:21is one of the most polarizing albums of all time.
- 44:24Blue Witch is here. Blue Witch.
- 44:26Maybe you love it, maybe you don't.
- 44:27This is an avant-garde tribute album to Metal Machine Music.
- 44:34It does feature Pharmacon, who is like an avant-garde black
- 44:37metal band, as well as Thirsty Moore of Sonic Youth, who you
- 44:42know. Has played on some black.
- 44:43Metal records and is a fan of the genre so like.
- 44:46This might be like the one. Delivery system, the one tribute
- 44:49album there's been a lot of. Tribute albums this year and
- 44:51most of them have been excellent and I'll talk about some in the
- 44:54future. Live stream.
- 44:55But this is I'm. Furious because.
- 44:58I'm one of the few people that likes.
- 45:00Lou Reed and likes metal machine music.
- 45:02But also like Lou Reed. You know, I know we passed away.
- 45:07Lulu is terrible, there's no way around it.
- 45:09I love Metallica, but Lulu sucks man.
- 45:16But if you've ever been curious about Metal Machine Music, maybe
- 45:18this is the time. This.
- 45:20Might be the time to get into it.
- 45:21I don't know. All right, what?
- 45:24Else we got dying. Fetus things I did not ask for,
- 45:29but I'm getting into the cesspool records today.
- 45:34Black Friday single. Why?
- 45:37Why? Is this happening?
- 45:38OK, you know Fetus has had an interesting year.
- 45:42Brand new album this year 1. Thousand of these are being
- 45:44pressed on a. Special shaped picture disc, I
- 45:47think in the shape of the hand. Brand new.
- 45:50Unreleased Dying Fetus song on a shaped picture disc.
- 45:53Into the Cesspool. I don't.
- 45:56Know who loves Dying Fetus and that their favorite band is
- 45:58Dying Fetus? Maybe this is for you.
- 46:00This is not for me, but I wanted to do the list in full.
- 46:04As. Competently as I possibly could.
- 46:09If you didn't jump off of here with Creed, you didn't jump off
- 46:12yet. Moving right along, Billy Joel
- 46:18live from Long Island. Not metal, but I love Billy Joel
- 46:21Somebody. Did Miami 2017 and I thought to
- 46:24myself self. Billy.
- 46:26Joel predicted 9/11. The blackout, the apocalypse,
- 46:29the market crash, everything. That.
- 46:33Dude is on to something or on something, Billy.
- 46:38Joel live on Long Island, so. This.
- 46:40Is a wild. Card for me.
- 46:42I love Billy Joel, he has many live albums.
- 46:46A. Handful of the Maron vinyl.
- 46:50Do I need this is the question, and how much is it going to be
- 46:53because it's three LP's. So.
- 46:56That means it's. Going to cost a lot of money
- 47:00like. I'm guessing 70 or 80 bucks for
- 47:0270 or 80 bucks I. Don't need it.
- 47:05But if it's hanging around for a while, maybe I'll get it.
- 47:09It's only going to be on 1500 pressings, 1500, you know,
- 47:15Quantity 3 LP. Legacy Recordings always does a
- 47:18great job whatever they do. The classic Nylon Curtain Tour
- 47:21Homecoming concert at NASA Coliseum, December 29th, 1982,
- 47:25now available as a standalone 3 OP set, newly mixed from the
- 47:29original master tapes and produced by.
- 47:31Billy's long time. Live sound engineer Brian
- 47:34Ruggles. That's really cool and as a fan
- 47:37I might need this. It's got a great set list 6.
- 47:41LP sides on three LP's. Not a lot of you know.
- 47:46Some a bit of flipping. But not too bad.
- 47:49Pretty pretty damn great and a great setlist.
- 47:53To be honest, but OK before his big eighties 80s hits all.
- 47:58His 70s hits and and turn of the decade 8/19/80 hits pretty bad
- 48:03hits anyway and. Fleetwood Mac Live. 75 This is
- 48:08pretty interesting. Fleetwood Mac's having kind of a
- 48:11time. I think a lot of kids are
- 48:12discovering their fleet, their parents.
- 48:14Fleetwood Mac records now and this is like one of the first
- 48:18concerts they ever did or first tours they ever did with Lindsay
- 48:21Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in. The band.
- 48:24So it's like. That first pole.
- 48:27Of that first record with the two of them joining the band and
- 48:30really built this transformed the band into this powerhouse
- 48:33pop rock band might be neat necessary if you're a big
- 48:37completist and I believe it was well, I believe it's like.
- 48:42Not just a. Bootleg release It's an official
- 48:44release. Getting a lot of love.
- 48:46Let's see 5. Thousand of these, so it surely
- 48:50won't be hard to find. 50 years ago at the Capitol Theatre in
- 48:55Passaic. October. 17th, 1975 and the.
- 48:58Jorgensen Auditorium at the University of Connecticut,
- 49:01Storce, Connecticut. August. 25th 1975 Band.
- 49:05That an all time. Recent hits Rhiannon and
- 49:08Landslides, some of the first performances of those and some
- 49:11deep cuts and fan favorites. Like hypnotized and Oh well.
- 49:15Pressed on vinyl for the very. First time green.
- 49:18Manalishi in the set list. That's pretty.
- 49:20Red, I hope Stevie sends it. Lindsay.
- 49:23Would probably do a good job with it too.
- 49:24Green and Alishi with the two prong cram bow bow bow bow bow.
- 49:34Winding this down a couple of. Others maybe not so much a big
- 49:38deal for you, but I think just getting.
- 49:40Into the rock. And Roll Hall Hall of Fame
- 49:42recently. Warren Zevon epilogue, Live at
- 49:46the Edmonton Folk. Festival.
- 49:47This might be one for curious people if you don't want to go.
- 49:51And buy whole Lauren Zevon albums.
- 49:53This might be a good one to get started with.
- 49:54And then which? This is not to be confused with
- 49:57the doom metal, which this is the African Zamrock band.
- 50:00Which if you're into some world music and.
- 50:02You want to expand your horizons beyond classic rock and metal.
- 50:06This is a fun. Band you should check out.
- 50:09I've heard them before and. This is a compilation of their
- 50:13classic songs and. Then last and never least, a
- 50:17couple more Watchmen is pretty much my like in my top five of.
- 50:22All comic. Book movies, superhero movies.
- 50:25I do love the soundtrack. I don't need a picture disc as I
- 50:28mentioned, but. Pretty fucking cool.
- 50:31I've never had the vinyl. I don't have to go.
- 50:33I think Record Store Day two or three years ago had the full
- 50:36score and that I'm probably going to go look for and talk.
- 50:40About that in a minute, but this is the new picture disc version
- 50:43out. For.
- 50:44This weekend. Also Big top Pee Wee Pee Wee
- 50:46Herman with the Paul Rubens. Documentary getting a lot of
- 50:49love now and that's. Also a picture disc I do not.
- 50:53Need but the Danny Elfman big top PB.
- 50:56Soundtrack slaps. If.
- 50:59You're thinking about the holidays.
- 51:00I know I don't think about Christmas until Thanksgiving is
- 51:02over, but my all time favorite Christmas record is A Charlie
- 51:05Brown Christmas by Vince Garaldi Trio.
- 51:08This is a new 60th. Anniversary pop up version?
- 51:12So you open the thing and it opens up like a pop up holiday
- 51:15card. I have the older reissue of this
- 51:19on vinyl from a few years back. I love it.
- 51:21I would never get another one, but if you don't have this.
- 51:24You need this. And.
- 51:26Also, Devo Mary something to you.
- 51:28This is about 16 years old. A single picture disc with a
- 51:31Cyclops Santa. Claus Devo as only Devo can do.
- 51:36Do I need this? No, if it was.
- 51:38Cheap I would buy it, but I don't.
- 51:39Need to go spend my money on this thing as much as I love
- 51:42Devo. Mötley Crüe Home Sweet Home 12
- 51:47inch single Who asked? For this, I certainly did not,
- 51:52and one record is not loving Mötley Crüe as much as everybody
- 51:55else does. I.
- 51:56Think Vince is not a good singer?
- 51:58Home. Sweet Home is a banger.
- 52:00I love this song. I don't need to own this.
- 52:03I think the Greatest Hits Mötley Crüe on vinyl is probably a good
- 52:06investment so you don't have to listen to all the records.
- 52:09But yeah, 2500. On a 12.
- 52:14Inch picture disc. I don't need any of these.
- 52:17Home Sweet Home Original Home Sweet Home featuring Dolly
- 52:19Parton Why do you have to drag? Dolly's name through the bud.
- 52:23I know she loves the song. Home Sweet Home 91, Home Sweet
- 52:27Home Live Again, Home Sweet Home Demo, and Home Sweet Home.
- 52:31Just the instrumental. Good Lord, I don't want this.
- 52:34And I love Dolly Parton and I love this song.
- 52:36But I don't need any of this, all right?
- 52:39And then let's see, last and never least, let's talk about
- 52:43after record story. So you can't go to record story.
- 52:45You're busy. You're full from Turkey.
- 52:47You're busy. Your family drains your
- 52:50emotional battery. And you can't live with the.
- 52:52World Devo Christmas I'm telling you I want to hold Devo
- 52:54Christmas album. Let's say you get to Friday and
- 52:57it's like I can't go to the store.
- 52:58Today and plus Black Friday. Why the fuck would I venture
- 53:01outside of my house and deal with these nimrods?
- 53:04Killing each other over toys. And stupid shit.
- 53:07I have a handful of people I'm going to get.
- 53:09Gifts for this holiday and that's it.
- 53:12Record Store Day smartly launched this thing called
- 53:15Record Store Day Market. It's a micro site where you can
- 53:18search all inventory of all the. Independent Record stores.
- 53:25And. Find stuff that's still that
- 53:26they still have that you missed out on.
- 53:29So a. It's great to get fill in gaps
- 53:31in your collection and get stuff you don't have already, and also
- 53:35super cool to find stuff you missed.
- 53:38Or my store didn't have this thing.
- 53:40Does anyone else have this? Thing.
- 53:41Bing bang boom so I'm a big fan of record store day market.
- 53:44I have bought a few things from them that come from record
- 53:47stores. Your money is going to record
- 53:48stores and. It's just helping everybody, so
- 53:51that's kind of my deal. On Record Store Day, Black
- 53:54Friday. Like I said, I'd like to see it
- 53:56evolve into something else, change for the better for the
- 54:00fans, make it geared more toward what we really want.
- 54:05And not what they think we want. And I really, you know, I get
- 54:11that they want to drive people into the stores and maybe make
- 54:14them repeat customers. And that's my wish for all of
- 54:16you to do is to go into your favorite record stores and and
- 54:20shop small and buy their stuff. But you know, some of this
- 54:28stuff, some of the stuff offered is not necessarily.
- 54:31Worth it, even if you have money to spare.
- 54:34So I say shop wisely, shop small and think of your community.
- 54:39When you spend money locally, you're helping out yourself in
- 54:43the best possible way. And if you can.
- 54:45Only get something you want from a big, big store.
- 54:47I get that also, and I understand because I also
- 54:49sometimes buy stuff from the big stores.
- 54:51And that's our show. I will be back tomorrow
- 54:53afternoon with the early version of the weekly ritual.
- 54:57On Wednesday, not on Thursday, and we'll be dropping a new
- 55:00interview in the morning and podcasts all week and all that
- 55:04jazz. Thanks for being here.
- 55:06If I don't see you tomorrow, have a safe and happy holiday.
- 55:09Don't drink and drive. But I'll be back tomorrow.
- 55:11Afternoon with the ritual. Thanks everybody who chimed in.
- 55:16Scooter rubber band man pissing razors, lungs and ruin everybody
- 55:21that popped in in the chat. Gary Collingwood.
- 55:26I appreciate all of you so much and I'll see you soon.
- 55:29Peace and Shops Mall.
