- 0:24Speaker 3: With the Fellers, Jace. Do you have to yell there?
- 0:31Speaker 4: Yes?
- 0:31Speaker 3: Okay, fair enough, it's a really email addressed. Meet pattyp
- 0:34Speaker 3: sixty nine at gmail dot com. Get in touch with
- 0:36Speaker 3: an advice question one hundred percent anonymous and if we
- 0:39Speaker 3: read it on the show boom, you get a prize.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Felas this one comes in from anonymous. Get a there,
- 0:45Speaker 3: Fellers feel So my mate.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Has had this all?
- 0:49Speaker 5: Right? Yeah? Man?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Sorry, what are you coughing on all that vapor?
- 0:53Speaker 5: No?
- 0:54Speaker 4: Is the nicoret actually right?
- 0:56Speaker 3: Okay? Get a feller's anonymous here?
- 0:59Speaker 4: You said that?
- 1:00Speaker 3: So my maid has had this girlfriend for about five
- 1:02Speaker 3: months now. And let's just say I'm not the biggest fan.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I haven't said anything or implied anything, but hearing them
- 1:09Speaker 3: together are really getting to me.
- 1:11Speaker 5: How old is this?
- 1:12Speaker 3: What should I do about this?
- 1:13Speaker 5: Said? No? Old one?
- 1:14Speaker 3: No, it's a new one.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Okay, what do you think? Sleep? With him, make her jealous.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I feel like we've done this before. It's a genuine
- 1:24Speaker 3: conundrum though, especially you know, certainly in.
- 1:27Speaker 2: My case, no one likes your wife, no one likes you,
- 1:33Speaker 2: or no one.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Likes you, neither of those probably more accurately.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Well, when I was a young fella, I was welded
- 1:38Speaker 3: at the hip to this other fella. Yeah, and then
- 1:42Speaker 3: he got a girlfriend and then all of a sudden
- 1:46Speaker 3: cold turkey.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 3: It's tough. Yeah, And it's also hard to know whether
- 1:51Speaker 3: I did that to other mates. When I met Lucy,
- 1:53Speaker 3: my now wife, you know.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, I had the same thing. Heaven I had
- 1:57Speaker 6: a mate and then he would just disappeared. But you
- 1:59Speaker 6: can understand when young, when you're a young feller and
- 2:01Speaker 6: you got your old mate leading your austral you sort
- 2:03Speaker 6: of you can't understand it. But then this is a
- 2:05Speaker 6: different sort of thing because it's not a case of
- 2:08Speaker 6: somebody leading you astray like a partner. It's just that
- 2:12Speaker 6: she's still there, he's still there, but he doesn't like
- 2:14Speaker 6: them together.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Is that what she's saying?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Essentially? Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Not the biggest fan, So what do I do when
- 2:20Speaker 6: the party when your best made or a mate gets
- 2:22Speaker 6: a new missus or a mister and you can't bear them.
- 2:26Speaker 4: It's it is tricky, tricky.
- 2:28Speaker 5: It sounds like you're in love with her.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I I was guilty of that. When i'd meet someone.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'd just getch on my mates. Yeah, just make love
- 2:38Speaker 2: all the time.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, just follow around.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And you know what I always love is when you
- 2:44Speaker 2: break up with someone.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I love that too, and then you all your.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Mates go yeah, and then they just them, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 2: they so often, and then you get back with them
- 2:53Speaker 2: after you've found out that nobody, like, no one liked them.
- 2:57Speaker 3: It is funny though, because some mates their partners, and
- 3:01Speaker 3: I'd say all of our partners included and pugs as well.
- 3:04Speaker 3: It's great when the partner's there. Partner's coming great, partner's
- 3:07Speaker 3: not coming great as well?
- 3:08Speaker 5: Who kids?
- 3:09Speaker 3: But there are friends, so it's like the partner's coming,
- 3:11Speaker 3: Oh okay, there are and you have to sort of
- 3:14Speaker 3: change things or change expectations. Yeah, which is a shame day,
- 3:19Speaker 3: was that?
- 3:20Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Well it's like how we're all going to go
- 3:22Speaker 3: together to this comedy night in a few weeks time
- 3:26Speaker 3: with all the partners, and so I'll be bringing my
- 3:28Speaker 3: partner and you're bringing your It would be great.
- 3:31Speaker 5: What'd you say like that?
- 3:32Speaker 4: It was a bit weird?
- 3:34Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 3:35Speaker 3: I just said it'll be great. I always say that
- 3:37Speaker 3: it'd be great.
- 3:38Speaker 4: What are you saying, Kezy?
- 3:39Speaker 5: Nothing?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Okay, I'll admit I don't like you and your wife together,
- 3:44Speaker 3: all right, Jase, I think it's time for you to
- 3:45Speaker 3: break up.
- 3:47Speaker 5: All right, there it's out that email was from me.
- 3:54Speaker 3: But yeah, bang heaven, then she'll get jupe.
- 3:58Speaker 1: The whole Key Big Show four on Radio green Day.
- 4:02Speaker 2: There on the radio Hodaki Big Show this Tuesday night
- 4:05Speaker 2: at the time Sex thirty.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Six Fellers, let's look at current events. What's on the
- 4:13Speaker 3: news with me?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Guzy?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Why are theyre like bowling balls and your sting?
- 4:23Speaker 3: I have no idea. Pug's made it, Fellers. Huge news
- 4:27Speaker 3: out of South Africa. There was a missing hotel yer,
- 4:31Speaker 3: hotel yeah, hotel YEA fifty nine year old Gabriel Battista
- 4:36Speaker 3: was his name. He's missing. They didn't know where he was.
- 4:38Speaker 3: There was some flooding that happened, and then unfortunately someone
- 4:42Speaker 3: spotted a really massive crocodile, oh god huge. And when
- 4:47Speaker 3: the helicopter flew over here. It didn't even bother hopping
- 4:49Speaker 3: in the river or getting out of the way or anything.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Usually they'll jump underwater. This was I was so big
- 4:53Speaker 3: it didn't even bother. And they were like, hang on,
- 4:55Speaker 3: we've got to check this crockout. Fortunately, they tranquilized the
- 4:58Speaker 3: crocodile there, checked inside. It's puckoo, yeah, and old Gabrielle
- 5:03Speaker 3: was in there. They also found six other pairs of
- 5:07Speaker 3: shoes inside the crocodile. Now people were like, no, it's
- 5:11Speaker 3: eating all these other people. But actually they were saying,
- 5:13Speaker 3: you know, following a flood, crocodiles would just eat anything,
- 5:15Speaker 3: So if a shoe floats past burm, you eat it.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Yeah, but also could have been six peeps. They could
- 5:19Speaker 5: have also been we don't know. We just don't know.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Because I saw the image there and because it was
- 5:23Speaker 6: getting dragged underneath the helicopter, that crocodile, yeah, I thought
- 5:26Speaker 6: it was doing one of those helicopter bungee jumps or something.
- 5:30Speaker 3: The crocodile.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Did you also notice a guy above the crocodile.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Oh?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it a tandem. It's right, what's going on there?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Well?
- 5:38Speaker 3: I think so his job is to hang down from
- 5:40Speaker 3: the helicopter on a rope, get down to the crocodile
- 5:43Speaker 3: at the bun bungee cord, Yeah, to its feet, and
- 5:47Speaker 3: then count three.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Too well and the bungee. Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I think his job also is to put a little
- 5:53Speaker 3: GoPro on the crocodile's poor.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Yeah, and then charge it next for one eighty if
- 5:57Speaker 6: it wants to take that video back.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that makes sense.
- 6:00Speaker 6: Well, it's pretty freaky, isn't it. You can't trust a crocodile,
- 6:03Speaker 6: That's what I found. You know, they act like your
- 6:05Speaker 6: friend one minute, next thing, you know, you're in the
- 6:07Speaker 6: stomach will pooker as you call it.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't think they act like your friend.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Oh yeah they can do. You have not heard of
- 6:12Speaker 5: the phrase crocodile tears?
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yeah, charming bass the entire Yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they'll talk your pants off.
- 6:20Speaker 4: What did they was that?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Did they stick a camera down its cat or did
- 6:25Speaker 2: they kill it?
- 6:27Speaker 3: Well, you don't know.
- 6:28Speaker 5: That was the rictum?
- 6:30Speaker 4: Oh up the butt, up the butt.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yeah, they said they went up the butt um and
- 6:37Speaker 3: put a GoPro up there, right. Yeah, so you know
- 6:40Speaker 3: the crocodile they had the go pro and it's poor.
- 6:43Speaker 3: You're not that one. It was a different one, right, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 3: but it does beg the question on three four eight
- 6:48Speaker 3: three What have you found inside a crocodile?
- 6:50Speaker 5: That's right, I'm dying to know, because.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I'd imagine there'd be some pretty wet i mean, go
- 6:54Speaker 2: pros probably.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, oh yes, sure, yeah, because there would be
- 7:00Speaker 3: some wacky stuff.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Inside a crocodile. Yeah, the has some weird stuff inside there.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Those barstards will eat anything.
- 7:07Speaker 3: The crazy thing about a crocodile, though, because they've got
- 7:08Speaker 3: powerful jaws, do they Yeah, obviously, but they're actually they're
- 7:15Speaker 3: up the muscles that make their jaw go up, the
- 7:17Speaker 3: top part of the jaw go up, are very very weak,
- 7:20Speaker 3: and so it's actually really easy to keep a crocodile's
- 7:23Speaker 3: mouth closed.
- 7:24Speaker 6: So if they if your crocodile there was an opening,
- 7:28Speaker 6: better sure be very bottom hand heavy on the bottom hand.
- 7:35Speaker 3: That's exactly what I'm trying to say.
- 7:38Speaker 6: An example of that, Jose, is that you cark Williamson.
- 7:40Speaker 6: He's bottom hand all day, isn't he.
- 7:42Speaker 4: That it'll be more your finalons of.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well there you go. That's interesting stuff.
- 7:52Speaker 5: It is. Do you know that they to die his
- 7:56Speaker 5: food case.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Like this hotel here, they eat rock the rocks, and
- 8:01Speaker 6: that's what helps mash up the hotel.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Hears and any other South Africans they might have, and the.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Shoes and the go pros.
- 8:09Speaker 3: It's good stuff.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Philis the hd Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 8:15Speaker 1: Kyzy tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Iks Smashing pumpkins.
- 8:19Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 8:23Speaker 2: The time is thirteen minutes past six o'clock and feelers.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'm starving and I just noticed there's a loaf of
- 8:30Speaker 2: bread out there?
- 8:32Speaker 4: Would it be all g you reckon? If I just
- 8:33Speaker 4: help myself. I mean that's sort of that's in line
- 8:36Speaker 4: with what you do, what I normally do. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 4: I'm just wanted. I'll do that and then someone will
- 8:40Speaker 4: come out and go right from a flavor.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Just have a couple of bites and then just squirt
- 8:44Speaker 6: tomato sauce all through the microwave and should be all good,
- 8:47Speaker 6: okay sweet.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Usually, if there's any food out there like that, it's
- 8:51Speaker 3: usually purchased by one of the office members, Yes, and
- 8:54Speaker 3: they store their food out there.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So one of the peasants, as you call oh they're
- 8:57Speaker 2: not here, so I might as well just help myself.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Yeah as well.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I mean you only get paid like twenty times in
- 9:01Speaker 3: the month they do.
- 9:03Speaker 5: True.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Lucky, hey fellas, I've actually got a food dilimma as well.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 9:09Speaker 3: So tonight for dinner we were like, oh, let's make
- 9:12Speaker 3: it easy. Lucy's my wife's mother. She quite often cooks
- 9:17Speaker 3: lots of stuff and then puts it in her freezer,
- 9:19Speaker 3: and then when she comes up to Aukland, she'll bring
- 9:20Speaker 3: a bag full of frozen food for us to have
- 9:22Speaker 3: whenever we, you know, need a quick meal.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Which is like cheese rolls, for example.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Punets of soup and then frozen things of cheese rolls.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I get a cut the cheese rolls out, put them
- 9:31Speaker 3: in the oven, cook the soup up, beautiful combo.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Does she fly up with that stuff sometimes?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Yeah? Or usually when we go down to christ Church
- 9:39Speaker 3: we'll do like a chicken bag and fill it up
- 9:42Speaker 3: with food. It rules, man. So tonight we're like, let's
- 9:45Speaker 3: get out that homemade pie she made and have that
- 9:48Speaker 3: for dinner tonight. So I got the homemade pie out
- 9:50Speaker 3: and I was like, man, it sure looked a lot
- 9:52Speaker 3: bigger down at the bottom of the deep freezer. When
- 9:55Speaker 3: I reached down and pulled it up to my face,
- 9:56Speaker 3: I was like, that's a one player pie.
- 9:58Speaker 5: That is for one person.
- 9:59Speaker 3: It's a keasy it's a to be honest, Yeah, it's
- 10:02Speaker 3: not even a key pie. So's it's bigger than I'd
- 10:05Speaker 3: say a pie you get from the gas station. It's
- 10:08Speaker 3: slightly bigger than that if you were to stretch out
- 10:10Speaker 3: a pie from the gas station slightly if like maybe
- 10:13Speaker 3: five centimeters and make it into an oval, you know,
- 10:17Speaker 3: stretch out. It's just not quite enough for two. And
- 10:23Speaker 3: my wife's got home and she's seen it and she's agreed.
- 10:26Speaker 3: She said, it's probably not enough for both of us,
- 10:28Speaker 3: is it? So my question is how do I flesh.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Out that meal?
- 10:31Speaker 3: Because I've suggested one I just stop at the gas station,
- 10:34Speaker 3: get another pie, yeah, and bring that home and cut
- 10:36Speaker 3: that one and half cut the homemade one and half
- 10:38Speaker 3: half half of half.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Well, what you would actually do is you stop off
- 10:40Speaker 6: at the gas station, you get two piles. You'd eat
- 10:42Speaker 6: one on the way home and then take the other
- 10:43Speaker 6: one into the hours a go. Here's my pie.
- 10:46Speaker 5: And it's great idea.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Given that situation.
- 10:49Speaker 2: What I would do in that very situation and say
- 10:52Speaker 2: to my wife, you have most of the pie. I'll
- 10:54Speaker 2: only have a small slice and give the other part
- 10:57Speaker 2: to my child so that she can be sorry.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Jason, we're talking about my situation.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I don't need to I'm just telling you what I
- 11:04Speaker 2: would do in your situation to have a child. But
- 11:10Speaker 2: he doesn't have a child.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I don't have a child.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I would say, dann you, I would give her and
- 11:16Speaker 2: I wouldn't even discuss it. I would chop it up
- 11:18Speaker 2: in such a way that she got a big portion
- 11:21Speaker 2: and I just had a small slither because because you're.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Trying to lose weight, because you've been a massive bastard lately,
- 11:27Speaker 6: haven't you a little bit?
- 11:30Speaker 3: You don't have to agree to what he sees, by
- 11:31Speaker 3: the way, but no, what I'm asking is how do
- 11:34Speaker 3: I flesh out the meal? I don't want to know.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I don't want to know.
- 11:37Speaker 6: How do you have vegetables in you?
- 11:40Speaker 3: We've got like broccoli and stuff, and I think she's
- 11:41Speaker 3: going to cook up some broccoli and stuff, but it's
- 11:43Speaker 3: just their main part is not quite big enough.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Well, why don't you make some Portmans patties?
- 11:49Speaker 5: Yes? Okay, so I make some.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I don't have any porkmants, don't I don't have I'm
- 11:56Speaker 3: not carrying. I swear I'm not carrying right now.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I think your idea of going to the servo and
- 12:04Speaker 6: getting a sausage roll and a couple of pies and
- 12:08Speaker 6: Louisiana tenders some of those Memphis bite a couple of
- 12:13Speaker 6: Crispy kremes. They they're just sitting in your car and
- 12:17Speaker 6: scoffing them.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Which is what you're going to do. Let's be honest.
- 12:21Speaker 2: He had a massive thing of Ramen noodles that late
- 12:24Speaker 2: this afternoon after having a Nana nap, So I mean,
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't think it's that urgent. But also, Keezy, what
- 12:35Speaker 2: have you got breed? You can have pie sandwiches. We
- 12:37Speaker 2: used to do it sandwich but we used to do
- 12:39Speaker 2: a boarding school.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got breage set up, but it's in the freezer,
- 12:43Speaker 3: so it'd have to be toast pie on toast m M.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But anyway, thanks for the help, Fellers. It was it
- 12:51Speaker 3: was great.
- 12:52Speaker 5: You like that. No.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The Wold Aching Big Show with J Mike and Key
- 12:57Speaker 1: tune in week days and four on Radio hod.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Ike on there on the Radio Hodarchy Big show this
- 13:03Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon.
- 13:04Speaker 4: The time is four thirty eight.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Fellas another tough one for my daughter. Oh no, yeah,
- 13:12Speaker 6: she's been getting crook a few amount of late and
- 13:14Speaker 6: today I got a phone call to go and pick
- 13:17Speaker 6: her up from school, saw tommy. Oh no, a little
- 13:21Speaker 6: bit weepy, a little bit cry, you know, a little
- 13:23Speaker 6: bit sad, et cetera, et cetera. So I had to
- 13:26Speaker 6: go all the way down there and pick her up.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Haven't got a car at the moment, so I had
- 13:32Speaker 6: to put her on my back, walk her home. Why
- 13:35Speaker 6: pick her up, physically pick her up, take her home? Headache, puky,
- 13:39Speaker 6: a little bit puky. And you know it's tough for
- 13:44Speaker 6: these kids, isn't it? Because she's probably had about six
- 13:47Speaker 6: or seven illnesses this year. She takes after old man.
- 13:49Speaker 6: I told her today. Yes, she was filthy about that.
- 13:53Speaker 6: But I don't know, what do you meant to do?
- 13:54Speaker 6: What do you mean to do with this? When you've
- 13:56Speaker 6: got these kids that are they just can't stick it out?
- 13:59Speaker 5: No, Well, I.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Mean I can relate. I was sick a lot as
- 14:01Speaker 3: a child.
- 14:04Speaker 5: But that's normal.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that was just a state of being
- 14:06Speaker 4: for you.
- 14:08Speaker 6: She's mostly well, yeah, and then sometimes she gets sick.
- 14:11Speaker 4: But with you, you were mostly in your bubble.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you're right, it doesn't it's not similar at all.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Well, that's so funny you should say that because it
- 14:18Speaker 2: must be something going around Mogi. Yes, because I got
- 14:21Speaker 2: home last night my wife said, ah, our youngest is
- 14:25Speaker 2: not feeling very good. And I said, oh god, that's
- 14:27Speaker 2: no good. And she said, can you go and get it?
- 14:30Speaker 2: And she'd been hanging out with a mate.
- 14:33Speaker 4: And topo.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Down south are.
- 14:39Speaker 7: We but there about the middle of the North Island
- 14:41Speaker 7: by that big lake, and and so I had to
- 14:46Speaker 7: go and pick her up rightly, six hour jenny, bloody,
- 14:49Speaker 7: vomiting all through the car.
- 14:51Speaker 2: No, I actually had picked I had to go and
- 14:54Speaker 2: get my car from the car because I had already
- 14:56Speaker 2: parked there. Took her home, you know, six hour dry
- 15:00Speaker 2: vomiting everywhere. She had a fever of like one hundred
- 15:03Speaker 2: and nine.
- 15:05Speaker 6: You measure in fahrenheit round, Yeah, fevers, all sorts going on.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Mate. It was just a shocking state of affairs. And
- 15:14Speaker 4: what was that, I don't know. It was just her illness.
