- 1:24Speaker 1: Nobody will answer. I have it set in the back
- 1:28Speaker 1: end to do not disturb so it will want ring
- 1:30Speaker 1: through to my phone, which it actually could, but don't
- 1:33Speaker 1: worry it. Well, you can leave us a voicemail. It
- 1:36Speaker 1: is nine four nine three two nine eight zero nine
- 1:41Speaker 1: zero that will believe in the show notes. It's also
- 1:44Speaker 1: posted in our Instagram feed, so if you ever need
- 1:47Speaker 1: to re reference that, it's there. But thank you to
- 1:50Speaker 1: everyone who has left voicemails so far. We will be
- 1:54Speaker 1: playing those on our next Listener mail Bag episode. When
- 1:58Speaker 1: is that going to be? Are we trying for one
- 2:00Speaker 1: next week? Maybe? For sure? Awesome? Yeah, I know we
- 2:05Speaker 1: have a bunch of voicemails to play. I'm very excited
- 2:09Speaker 1: about it. And of course only you and I would
- 2:11Speaker 1: be like, don't worry you guys, nobody's gonna pick up
- 2:13Speaker 1: the phone because we don't want to talk to anybody. No.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think it's a very someone pointed out that's a
- 2:18Speaker 1: very millennial concern. You and I are not millennials. We're
- 2:20Speaker 1: older than that. But you know, millennials don't like to
- 2:22Speaker 1: talk on the phone. I don't like to talk on
- 2:24Speaker 1: the phone. No, neither do I. I have to like work
- 2:26Speaker 1: myself up to it too, Like we have just been conditioned.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, growing up, my mom was like a talk
- 2:35Speaker 1: on the phone or like she would talk to her friends.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You knew, don't interrupt mom when she's on the phone. Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And in fact, can I tell you a story. When
- 2:43Speaker 1: I was a child, I had the same recurring nightmare.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I can envision it now. It was in my childhood
- 2:51Speaker 1: home and I was in the family room and there
- 2:54Speaker 1: was a like cartoon bad guy in this dream, huh,
- 3:00Speaker 1: riding on the back of a cartoon like happy dragon,
- 3:03Speaker 1: like not a scary dragon. And I know, I'm sure
- 3:07Speaker 1: someone could psychoanalyze me. And I was trying to get
- 3:11Speaker 1: my mom's attention, but she was on the phone, and
- 3:13Speaker 1: I would go to try and get my dad's attention,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and he was asleep, and then I would wake up,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and I had that dream over and over and over.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I can and no, I was not a neglected child.
- 3:22Speaker 1: My parents were both very active in my life. But
- 3:24Speaker 1: I can still envision that dream to this day. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: wonder what all that means. I don't know. Hmm. I
- 3:30Speaker 1: can tell you the phone was not allowed to ring
- 3:32Speaker 1: at our house after nine pm. So if one of
- 3:34Speaker 1: my friends call Big Trouble, Big trouble. Yeah, my greatest
- 3:40Speaker 1: childhood teenage coup was having my own phone line, girl.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And this is in the early days of call waiting,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and my mom thought call waiting was incredibly rude. So
- 3:49Speaker 1: what she did was she set up call forwarding from
- 3:53Speaker 1: her phone line to mine so that if she was
- 3:56Speaker 1: on the phone, it would ring on my line and
- 3:58Speaker 1: I had call waiting. Then I would sometimes have to
- 4:01Speaker 1: get off the phone. You know. That was the trait
- 4:04Speaker 1: for having your own phone line. Got it? And I
- 4:05Speaker 1: can vividly remember like a bad report card would come home,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and I'd come home and like my phone would be
- 4:10Speaker 1: unplugged in the report card would be in its passive
- 4:14Speaker 1: aggressive They were savage. That is savage. That's some shit
- 4:19Speaker 1: I would do now, and I love it tatoo too.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So let's before we jump into our thoughts on this
- 4:26Speaker 1: episode of Science Sealed Delivered, can we talk the hallmark
- 4:30Speaker 1: of it all? Sure, there was a lot of chatter
- 4:34Speaker 1: around this movie mm hmm, or chatter about the lack
- 4:38Speaker 1: thereof of chatter about this movie, So you may listeners
- 4:42Speaker 1: may or may not have noticed. There was no promotion
- 4:46Speaker 1: of this movie. There was no movie poster, there was
- 4:49Speaker 1: no trailer. There was no commercial, there was no social
- 4:54Speaker 1: media promotion. Officially, there was no official Facebook live with
- 4:58Speaker 1: the cast. None of that was done. This movie doesn't
- 5:01Speaker 1: even exist on the press site in SI Baseball. The
- 5:06Speaker 1: actors individually did post about it on social media, as
- 5:09Speaker 1: did the creator and writer of this show, Martha Williamson,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and there was a lot of frustration from some diehard
- 5:16Speaker 1: signed sealed delivered chance. What are your thoughts on that?
- 5:20Speaker 1: I am of two minds, let me hear. I really
- 5:24Speaker 1: love this series. It's a very special series, and so
- 5:28Speaker 1: knowing that this is the last movie that has been created,
- 5:31Speaker 1: who knows what the future of the series is. I
- 5:34Speaker 1: want to see it promoted, especially a series that has
- 5:37Speaker 1: existed over such a long period of time and there's
- 5:39Speaker 1: such big gaps between the movies. I think it's nice
- 5:42Speaker 1: to remind the viewers of what's coming mm hm. So
- 5:45Speaker 1: as a fan, I'm sad that it didn't get that
- 5:48Speaker 1: because I am such a big fan of the people involved.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You know how much we love Kristin and Crystal. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: as from a business perspective, I do kind of under
- 6:00Speaker 1: stand Hallmark's decision to stick their head in the stand
- 6:04Speaker 1: and avoid potential criticism from those who might not love
- 6:09Speaker 1: them promoting a movie with a person who is currently
- 6:11Speaker 1: in the public eye for some decisions that they may
- 6:16Speaker 1: not agree with, Right, So you can you can see
- 6:19Speaker 1: both sides. Yeah, Like on a personal level, i'd like, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I stick my head and they stand too. I don't
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to. I don't I don't want to hear it.
- 6:25Speaker 1: A Hallmark is so fiercely protective of their brand that
- 6:27Speaker 1: it is zero percent surprising to me that they made
- 6:30Speaker 1: the choice. Oh, one hundred percent. I mean yes, zero
- 6:34Speaker 1: percent surprising, but also a little like what, Yeah, that's
- 6:41Speaker 1: not even a promotional poster, Like, yeah, like it's not
- 6:45Speaker 1: doesn't even exist. Yeah, Like if you go to search
- 6:48Speaker 1: for it again inside Baseball, if you go to search
- 6:51Speaker 1: for it on the Hallmark Press site, which I guess
- 6:53Speaker 1: like content creators like ourselves have access to, it does
- 6:57Speaker 1: not exist, right, It is bizarre to me. But again
- 7:02Speaker 1: on the flip side, I guess I kind of understand. Yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 1: And it was interesting to see some of the speculation
- 7:07Speaker 1: of the reasons why it was being done. To me,
- 7:10Speaker 1: it's very clear there is no reason to speculate. I
- 7:13Speaker 1: feel like I know exactly why they buried it. Some
- 7:16Speaker 1: people tap danced so hard to try and find other
- 7:23Speaker 1: reasons why Hallmark like what people felt like. I saw
- 7:26Speaker 1: a commentary that said Hallmark is now too diverse and
- 7:29Speaker 1: this show is too wholesome for the network. I so
- 7:32Speaker 1: strongly disagree with. Oh my god, the amount of eye
- 7:35Speaker 1: rolling I just did. It's first of all, too diverse
- 7:40Speaker 1: is a wild combination of words, and second of all,
- 7:44Speaker 1: no it's not. So what do you think about all this?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I feel disappointed because if I'm going to look at
- 7:53Speaker 1: the franchise as a whole, I don't have high hopes
- 7:58Speaker 1: that it's going to continue. And that makes me sad
- 8:01Speaker 1: as a fan, because I have such a special place
- 8:04Speaker 1: in my heart for this series, especially after last year
- 8:08Speaker 1: when we did like the full back to back all
- 8:11Speaker 1: summer long. Yeah, you know it is a special series. Yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I agree, they have done something really incredible. Martha Williamson
- 8:24Speaker 1: is incredible. I really enjoy the actors and the cast
- 8:27Speaker 1: and the crew and everybody who's put work into it.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So it makes me kind of sad, like if this
- 8:32Speaker 1: was it, that this is how we say goodbye to it,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it makes me sad. I agree, it makes me sad
- 8:40Speaker 1: as of this morning when we are recording this, our
- 8:45Speaker 1: friends over at deliver Me a podcast on Instagram shared
- 8:51Speaker 1: the live and same date viewers' numbers for this movie. Yeah,
- 8:58Speaker 1: are you curious? Very one point one one two million.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That's big numbers for an April release. It's point zero
- 9:07Speaker 1: eight of the demo number eleven top prime time telecasts
- 9:12Speaker 1: for a movie that wasn't promoted at all, zero percent promotion.
- 9:16Speaker 1: They have a huge fan base, a huge fan base,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and a very dedicated fan base. Yes, and I did
- 9:22Speaker 1: feel like some of the cast and crew, like you
- 9:25Speaker 1: mentioned earlier, Martha Williamson put out a really nice video
- 9:30Speaker 1: on Instagram. I've never heard her talk in real moving,
- 9:36Speaker 1: wasn't it. Yeah, you're like, oh, now, I see how
- 9:39Speaker 1: you were the person who created this masterful series totally.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And then Kristen Booth was like, had the weight of
- 9:47Speaker 1: the movie on her shoulders, don the hard work promoting
- 9:51Speaker 1: the hell out of it in the days leading up
- 9:53Speaker 1: to it. So I'm not surprised by the one point
- 9:56Speaker 1: one one two million live and same debuters. That's that's
- 10:00Speaker 1: big numbers, big numbers. I don't know how as a
- 10:03Speaker 1: network you go all right, bye, right? I don't work
- 10:08Speaker 1: for Hallmark, so I don't make those decisions. Some people
- 10:11Speaker 1: think we do, though, Wow, some of your emails and comments,
- 10:13Speaker 1: you guys, we don't work for Hallmark. That's all. Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 1: A little later in this episode, I'd like to talk
- 10:18Speaker 1: about our thoughts on the future of the series. Okay,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but for now, let's talk news and notes. Let's talk
- 10:23Speaker 1: news in Actually, let's do a synopsis first. Man. The
- 10:27Speaker 1: synopsis goes, the Postables are given a letter found in
- 10:31Speaker 1: a former nightclub that takes them on a trip to
- 10:33Speaker 1: find the writer hiding from a troubled past. Meanwhile, Oliver
- 10:38Speaker 1: learns more about his birth father while wrestling with his
- 10:41Speaker 1: own approaching fatherhood. Science Seal Delivered To the Moon and
- 10:44Speaker 1: Back was written by Martha Williamson and Brandy Harkinen. Linda
- 10:48Speaker 1: Lisa Hayter returns as director. She had previously directed A
- 10:52Speaker 1: Tale of Three Letters, as well as the Vows we
- 10:54Speaker 1: have made. All of our Postables return. Eric baby Is,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Kristin Booth, Crystal Looe, and Jeff. Other familiar Railers include
- 11:03Speaker 1: Gregory Harrison as Oliver's dad, Joe Zach Santiago as Ramon,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and Rihannon Fish as coworker Charlie. Natalie Sharp stars as
- 11:12Speaker 1: Tracy in the film, with thirty seven acting credits. Natalie
- 11:15Speaker 1: is no stranger to Hallmark fans, having appeared in projects
- 11:17Speaker 1: like Wedding Season and A Godweek Christmas. If you enjoyed
- 11:20Speaker 1: her vocal performance in this movie, You're in luck. She
- 11:23Speaker 1: shares plenty of singing videos on her YouTube channel. Kelly
- 11:27Speaker 1: Oburn plays Mom on the Run Camelle. Kelly has sixty
- 11:31Speaker 1: five acting credits, including tons of work for Hallmark in
- 11:33Speaker 1: movies like Love and Jane, Cut Color, Murder and an
- 11:38Speaker 1: Oldie Bit of Good Eye, Jingle Bell Jingle Bell Run God.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I still love that movie, Jingle Bell Bride. Gabrielle Hanky
- 11:45Speaker 1: play's younger grown up sister Amber, with just seven acting credits.
- 11:48Speaker 1: This is her first project for Hallmark. Remy Marth Tholer
- 11:51Speaker 1: plays eight year old Amber. Remy has seventeen acting credits,
- 11:54Speaker 1: with roles in one Calls the Heart and the movie
- 11:57Speaker 1: to all a good Night. She's also tapped for a
- 12:00Speaker 1: Peter Binson movie called a Royal Montana Christmas, currently in
- 12:03Speaker 1: production per IMDb. Sharyne Has plays Shane's doctor, Doctor Nichols.
- 12:08Speaker 1: She has forty six acting credits and was last seen
- 12:11Speaker 1: on Hallmark in Sugar Plums. According to IMDb, Sarah Ferguson
- 12:16Speaker 1: like the Duchess is that correct? Huh? Was in this movie?
- 12:22Speaker 1: I never saw her? She plays a bartender. I'm like,
- 12:26Speaker 1: when were they even at like Ramones? Yeah, Well, what's
- 12:30Speaker 1: funny is you posted about this in our Facebook group
- 12:31Speaker 1: and someone was like, oh, must be someone with the
- 12:33Speaker 1: same name. And it's very clearly tagged as Sarah Ferguson
- 12:37Speaker 1: as in Fergie the Duchess. So who I am aware
- 12:43Speaker 1: that she's divorced and may not actually still carry that
- 12:45Speaker 1: title anymore. Nevertheless, that's that's who she is. That's how
- 12:48Speaker 1: we're identifying her. I never saw her. I never saw
- 12:52Speaker 1: her either. And by the way, any Yahoo can like
- 12:55Speaker 1: add anybody to an imdtist. This has to just be
- 13:02Speaker 1: like a wild mistake. Yeah, sure, because when I asked,
- 13:06Speaker 1: some of the postables came back very defiantly that she
- 13:11Speaker 1: did not appear in this movie. They're paying close attention,
- 13:14Speaker 1: They're playing, They're paying real close attention. You may recall
- 13:17Speaker 1: A Tale of Three Letters and To the Moon and
- 13:19Speaker 1: Back were filmed back to back in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Production for both movies wrapped last year in May twenty
- 13:26Speaker 1: twenty four. We're gonna take a quick break and we're
- 13:29Speaker 1: gonna come right back with our first impressions. Hey, Wendy,
- 13:41Speaker 1: what was your first impression of to the Moon and that? Well,
- 13:44Speaker 1: Hallmark thought mystery when a one fans were mad about
- 13:47Speaker 1: their cliffhanger. Wait till the Postables get a hold of
- 13:53Speaker 1: this one. Had your children, had your wives? I mean,
- 13:56Speaker 1: these folks have already generated a petition. So oh well,
- 14:01Speaker 1: let's talk about the cliffhanger in a minute. Okay. My
- 14:03Speaker 1: first impression is a little bit milder, and I'm just
- 14:07Speaker 1: so glad to be back among my friends. Oh I
- 14:09Speaker 1: have some thoughts about that, okay, but it's in the likes,
- 14:12Speaker 1: so I mean that is where my likes start. Go ahead.
- 14:15Speaker 1: When I was watching this movie, when people talk about
- 14:18Speaker 1: cozy movies, this is a cozy series for me. Mm hmmm.
- 14:23Speaker 1: And I really thought after a Tale of Three Letters,
- 14:28Speaker 1: where I felt like some of our Postbles had lost
- 14:30Speaker 1: their way. We were seeing sides of them that I
- 14:33Speaker 1: didn't really feel were true to their characters. I felt like,
- 14:37Speaker 1: this is who they are we're back. Everything about them
- 14:42Speaker 1: felt like exactly who I expected them to be, and
- 14:46Speaker 1: it was just so nice to spend time with them again.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I feel the same way, especially after last summer. If
- 14:53Speaker 1: I was like theig I don't want to say casual viewer,
- 14:56Speaker 1: but if I had watched this series over the last
- 14:58Speaker 1: like how many years it's been on, I'd be like, oh, great,
- 15:01Speaker 1: another Sigin Sealed movie. But because we watched it all
- 15:05Speaker 1: just sort of recently, these people feel like cozy family
- 15:10Speaker 1: that I was like so happy to see again, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: especially because we have talked to Crystal and Kristen on
- 15:19Speaker 1: the podcast here and they're like such lovely people, Like
- 15:22Speaker 1: it was just nice to see everybody Like I was like, oh,
- 15:27Speaker 1: in my head, there's my friends on TV. Yes I'm
- 15:30Speaker 1: not suggesting at all for one minute that Kristin Booth
- 15:34Speaker 1: and Crystal Low even remember my name or the name
- 15:37Speaker 1: of the podcast that I'm on. So I don't think
- 15:39Speaker 1: that they think I'm a friend. But do you know
- 15:42Speaker 1: what I am? Yes? That is what this series does. Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 1: they make you feel like you are one of That's
- 15:49Speaker 1: why they have engendered such a huge fan base. I'm
- 15:52Speaker 1: such a devoted fan base because we are not the
- 15:54Speaker 1: only people that feel like that. You know, we've gotten
- 15:59Speaker 1: to know again. I'm not suggesting that Crystal Low thinks
- 16:02Speaker 1: of us for one second outside of the time that
- 16:04Speaker 1: she's on our podcast, but we've gotten to know her
- 16:06Speaker 1: a little bit. I feel like I understand her as
- 16:08Speaker 1: a human and every since that, you know, we met
- 16:12Speaker 1: Rita first, then we met crysteal Low the human, and
- 16:15Speaker 1: now seeing her as Rita again, it's even more stunning
- 16:19Speaker 1: to me how well she embodies this character of Rita totally,
- 16:23Speaker 1: who is really outside of Kristen's natural way of being,
- 16:30Speaker 1: And it's just so fun to watch her just like
- 16:34Speaker 1: suttle right back into this person I was gonna say,
- 16:36Speaker 1: like morph back into this person she is. I love
- 16:39Speaker 1: Rita And if anybody recalls my reviews from last summer,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I went on kind of a journey with Rita. Rita
- 16:46Speaker 1: was a slow burn for you, But I freaking love Rita.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I love her. I'm like so excited for her while
- 16:54Speaker 1: watching this movie, like she's expecting a baby and they
- 16:57Speaker 1: are adopting a baby, and I'm thrilled. I know. I
- 17:02Speaker 1: just love the character of Rita and I love the
- 17:05Speaker 1: character of Norman so so much like I wish these
- 17:09Speaker 1: people like existed in my real life. I know, like
- 17:12Speaker 1: the characters what I mean, I know sound like a
- 17:16Speaker 1: deranged No. Look man, there's some great things to love
- 17:19Speaker 1: about this movie. I one of the running there's a
- 17:23Speaker 1: lot of continued running bits through this movie, like some
- 17:26Speaker 1: that are established in this movie and run throughout, and
- 17:29Speaker 1: some that are established in this series. And one of
- 17:31Speaker 1: those is Norman's foster care sibling, kind of the rotating
- 17:35Speaker 1: door of them. And I'm glad we continued that. I
- 17:38Speaker 1: thought the addition of Hans was perfect. It made perfect sense.
- 17:43Speaker 1: They barely interact like they see each other. It's like
- 17:45Speaker 1: Hi Norman, Hi Hans, and they move on. But the
- 17:49Speaker 1: way they wove it in Joe's like how many siblings
- 17:52Speaker 1: does he have? And Oliver comments like, oh marriad and
- 17:55Speaker 1: then we just see Hans come in and he fully
- 17:57Speaker 1: gets Oliver's vision. I love the addition of that character
- 18:01Speaker 1: as opposed to just annual random schmoke contractor yeah, make
- 18:06Speaker 1: it one of Norman simile. Yeah, it doesn't like lend
- 18:09Speaker 1: itself to the overall storytelling. Yeah, it's totally worse. Like
- 18:12Speaker 1: my notes say that these through lines are what make
- 18:16Speaker 1: this series feel like a warm hug to me. And
- 18:19Speaker 1: I know that sounds like schmaltzy and cheesy, and I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: not sorry, because that is how this series feels to me.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Well that's a really interesting point because some of the
- 18:29Speaker 1: criticism I've seen since this movie premiered was that there
- 18:35Speaker 1: wasn't enough emphasis on like the mystery part of the story,
- 18:39Speaker 1: which you know, like the the letter they find and
- 18:42Speaker 1: all that kind of stuff, right, And I have seen
- 18:46Speaker 1: the postable fans be like, uh, this is what the
- 18:50Speaker 1: entire series is about. It's about these four people. Like
- 18:54Speaker 1: the mystery part of it is secondary, secondary, totally so
- 19:00Speaker 1: even and they told a complete story in my opinion
- 19:02Speaker 1: with the mystery. I agree, and I have a lot
- 19:06Speaker 1: of wishes sure about that, and I know we'll get
- 19:10Speaker 1: into it. But I think at the core this series
- 19:15Speaker 1: is about the four people course, and there are a
- 19:17Speaker 1: little like spin offs of like who they are as
- 19:20Speaker 1: people and their families and whatever. And that's what is
- 19:24Speaker 1: so beautiful and andearing about this movie, or you know,
- 19:31Speaker 1: installment of this movie. Anyway. I was recently looking at
- 19:35Speaker 1: our episode where we interviewed Crystal Low and one of
- 19:39Speaker 1: the things she said, is her goal as a director
- 19:41Speaker 1: is to make you laugh and then to make you cry.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And I think that is a good way to point
- 19:46Speaker 1: out that this episode, this movie within the series, has
- 19:52Speaker 1: some parts that really struck me as funny. Rita's bottomless appetite.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It's just such like a light funny way tomorrow time,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you know, to remind us of the pregnancy, for her
- 20:04Speaker 1: and Shane to experience it in different ways. Yeah yees,
- 20:08Speaker 1: especially because they're not like showing yeah. So it's a
- 20:12Speaker 1: great reminder of like, oh, hey, this woman is pregnant,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and it is kind of a funny stereotype of like
- 20:19Speaker 1: this bottomless pit of wanting to eat everything. Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 20:24Speaker 1: When they talk about going to the concert and she's like, oh,
- 20:26Speaker 1: we have backsage passes and Rita's like, oh, did you
- 20:28Speaker 1: just hack into the Las Vegas ticketing system? Love it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Like Shane's character is very sweet and very warm and
- 20:35Speaker 1: very kind, and then she's also this like kick ass
- 20:38Speaker 1: white hat hacker who's over here. Just like totally love that.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I wish we could like get more into that. I know.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I feel like they walk a very careful line with them,
- 20:47Speaker 1: like they don't want to make her a criminal. Yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 1: because Oliver it's sent her asked to Jaf, I will
- 20:53Speaker 1: talk more about that rise, and he doesn't have it
- 20:56Speaker 1: more issue with it, And and then are sweet Norman.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Wayne Ramon is trying to bring them mimosas, and he's
- 21:03Speaker 1: like he just can't get the mimosa off the tray.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, sweeps them away. He's like, I like mimosas,
- 21:09Speaker 1: so funny. And then like his continued popping his head
- 21:12Speaker 1: back in when they're trying to leave and they're late,
- 21:14Speaker 1: and he's like, we're double parked, and he's like, honking,
- 21:17Speaker 1: people are honking. I just love Norman. Do you have
- 21:20Speaker 1: any thoughts on Oliver. Oliver's not funny to me in
- 21:24Speaker 1: this movie, if that's what you're asking. He doesn't play
- 21:28Speaker 1: along with the bits I so you had mentioned, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: I had completely forgotten about a Tale of three Letters
- 21:34Speaker 1: and how specifically Oliver was not his normal. I actually
- 21:41Speaker 1: think it was Shane who wasn't her normal, So I
- 21:43Speaker 1: think it a tail of three letters. A lot of
- 21:45Speaker 1: the conflict is like that Shane is thoughtless, like she's
- 21:48Speaker 1: leaving her stuff everywhere and she's a mess, and and
- 21:50Speaker 1: I'm like that's not who we've ever known Shane to be.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I feel like Oliver has always been his fastidious self. Yes, yes,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but let me let me remind you. Oliver had an
- 22:03Speaker 1: issue with Charlie in Last Last in that last movie,
- 22:06Speaker 1: and he was kind of mean to her at one point,
- 22:09Speaker 1: That's what I remember. Yeah, And I was like, that
- 22:11Speaker 1: is so out of pocket for him. What was that about?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Do you remember? I don't remember. I don't remember the specifics.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I just remember like he was kind of not nice.
- 22:21Speaker 1: My feeling about Oliver in this movie. Oliver felt like
- 22:24Speaker 1: Oliver to me. Oliver felt like Oliver Ish to me.
- 22:28Speaker 1: He comes up a lot in my wishes. Okay, we'll
- 22:30Speaker 1: get to him eventually. Look. One of the funniest remarks
- 22:34Speaker 1: is from our Facebook group where Wayne said, if Oliver
- 22:37Speaker 1: were any brooti or he would have been Batman. I
- 22:39Speaker 1: just think that's who Oliver is. Oliver and Change's relationship
- 22:42Speaker 1: took so long to come to fruition that because Oliver
- 22:44Speaker 1: had to just really brood over if he was the
- 22:48Speaker 1: kind of person who could do this. Oliver has so
- 22:53Speaker 1: much baggage. I know Oliver took a very long time
- 22:58Speaker 1: to believe himself worthy of being loved and that did
- 23:02Speaker 1: not go away when he and Shane got married, right,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and he's still carrying that baggage as we see in
- 23:08Speaker 1: his relationship with Joe in this episode. I'm looking over
- 23:13Speaker 1: our notes. I want you to talk about the absolutely
- 23:15Speaker 1: best line of this episode. I have a lot of
- 23:17Speaker 1: thoughts on Oliver's conflict with Joe, but the best thing
- 23:21Speaker 1: to come out of that was It's actually one of
- 23:24Speaker 1: my overall favorite experiences in this episode was that conflict.
- 23:28Speaker 1: But when Shane says to Aliver, Harvey gave you life,
- 23:32Speaker 1: but Joe gave you a life, and I just got
- 23:36Speaker 1: chills with you saying it right now. I got chills
- 23:37Speaker 1: when I saw it originally in the movie too, and
- 23:40Speaker 1: again right now. The special thing about it is during
- 23:42Speaker 1: that scene, we flash on Joe walking through the attic,
- 23:46Speaker 1: the attic where the Sday box was, but we see
- 23:49Speaker 1: all of these boxes of like Oliver's life. It's like
- 23:52Speaker 1: books and Halloween. I don't even remember what it is,
- 23:55Speaker 1: but it's just little mementos that every family has of
- 23:58Speaker 1: their child. And your reminded that Joe has his hand
- 24:02Speaker 1: over all of that, right like Harvey had this little
- 24:05Speaker 1: box and that's nice and lovely, and that relationship is
- 24:10Speaker 1: complicated and Harvey couldn't be in his life. But look
- 24:14Speaker 1: who Joe was, right. Yeah, I love Gregory Harrison. I
- 24:20Speaker 1: love him in this role as Joe. He is one
- 24:24Speaker 1: of the like standout recurring characters to come from this franchise.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I just really enjoy him so much. So when Shane
- 24:36Speaker 1: and Oliver get a call from their doctor, what were
- 24:39Speaker 1: you expecting bad news? Yeah? Me too, And I'm so
- 24:43Speaker 1: glad it wasn't that. They're like, oh, Shane might have
- 24:45Speaker 1: gestational diabetes. I'm like, all right, not that. I feel like,
- 24:48Speaker 1: if you're dealing with that, it's not an additional thing
- 24:51Speaker 1: to contend with when pregnancy is already kind of fraught.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But this is not an uncommon thing. This is thing
- 24:55Speaker 1: that women manage like. It is manageable with medication, of course,
- 25:00Speaker 1: aditional complications. But I was glad that if they're going
- 25:02Speaker 1: to introduce a complication to one of these pregnancies, you know,
- 25:06Speaker 1: they talk about her geriatric pregnancy and they talk about
- 25:08Speaker 1: the potential of additional risk. It was a light hand
- 25:12Speaker 1: on it. It was a light hand, but I did
- 25:15Speaker 1: feel fearful, like almost the entire movie, and not because
- 25:20Speaker 1: of like the potential of having gestational diabetes, but it
- 25:24Speaker 1: was kind of earlier than that. They were like setting
- 25:27Speaker 1: the tone where you have like Rita experiencing a different
- 25:31Speaker 1: type of pregnancy than Shane. And I was like, is
- 25:35Speaker 1: this going to end badly? Because Martha's not afraid of
- 25:38Speaker 1: difficult subjects? Right, Yeah, I'm glad. I'm I don't want to.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I don't I'm not trying to be like minimize how
- 25:48Speaker 1: scary gestational diabetes can be or how dangerous, but I'm glad.
- 25:53Speaker 1: It was just that, Yeah, for sure. And that is
- 25:55Speaker 1: one of those things that like it goes away when
- 25:57Speaker 1: the baby is born. Mm, so like if you can
- 25:59Speaker 1: safely get it to delivery, it's gone, right, it is
- 26:03Speaker 1: resolved when the pregnancy. I do have some further thoughts
- 26:08Speaker 1: about this particular storyline that has to do with Oliver,
- 26:11Speaker 1: And did I just say particular twice? I have some
- 26:15Speaker 1: additional thoughts about it, but it specifically has to do
- 26:17Speaker 1: with Oliver, and it's going to be in the wishes. Okay.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I wasn't sure where to put this. What did you
- 26:22Speaker 1: think about the we're expecting bit? The who's on first
- 26:25Speaker 1: of it all? Well, I saw a preview of it,
- 26:27Speaker 1: and it leave me several weeks ago, because if you
- 26:30Speaker 1: didn't know, this movie did air in another country several
- 26:34Speaker 1: weeks ago, so it was kind of like floating around
- 26:37Speaker 1: out there a little bit. Yeah, and when I saw it,
- 26:39Speaker 1: I was so excited. I love I love that seeing.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I love Kristin and Crystal together. Please give me a
- 26:45Speaker 1: spinoff show, not a spinoff show, but give me like
- 26:48Speaker 1: a whole new franchise with these two. I just love
- 26:52Speaker 1: them so much. Yeah, and I thought they were very
- 26:54Speaker 1: funny together. Did you hate it? I thought No, I
- 26:57Speaker 1: didn't hate it. I thought it walked a very fine line.
- 27:00Speaker 1: You're expecting, we're expect there's two babies, there's my babies.
- 27:02Speaker 1: There's four babies. It's too much for you. But when
- 27:05Speaker 1: it ends and they look at each other and they say,
- 27:07Speaker 1: we're pregnant, Like, I like, really liked that moment. Of course,
- 27:12Speaker 1: we're pregnant. You didn't drink about Moosa? Yeah, I mean
- 27:16Speaker 1: obviously it was so obvious sure to the viewer here,
- 27:20Speaker 1: But I love like how Norman was all confused and like,
- 27:23Speaker 1: you know, it was cute. I'm sure there are people
- 27:27Speaker 1: who hated it. Let's talk witious. Okay, I'm just gonna
- 27:30Speaker 1: get into Oliver if I can. It was kind of
- 27:33Speaker 1: interesting to see him kind of spin out over the
- 27:39Speaker 1: possibility that Shane would be diagnosed with gestational diabetes. The
- 27:46Speaker 1: man spun out like he was like not himself. I
- 27:49Speaker 1: thought brooding. He was like his letters. It wasn't it
- 27:57Speaker 1: all led into the letters. It was interesting seeing how
- 28:01Speaker 1: they connected all the Martha essentially connected all those dots.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It wasn't spinning out about Shane's potential of having diabetes,
- 28:11Speaker 1: but it was interesting to make the connection of like,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I don't know anything about my biological father. I only
- 28:19Speaker 1: know Joe. It just it worked out well. It came
- 28:23Speaker 1: together nicely for me. And so even though that sounds
- 28:26Speaker 1: like alike, what the wish was? I I didn't enjoy
- 28:31Speaker 1: all of HER's character moves. Yeah, that's what it comes
- 28:35Speaker 1: down to me. Last in the last movie, he was
- 28:38Speaker 1: kind of like in this movie I got. I thought
- 28:40Speaker 1: he wasn't like the Oliver from early days. Yeah. The
- 28:46Speaker 1: for me, I struggled with Oliver's behavior, his reaction to
- 28:51Speaker 1: Joe over. Yeah, so this the Sunday Box is a
- 28:54Speaker 1: huge storyline. Okay, and I had a lot of thoughts
- 28:58Speaker 1: at first. When Joe gives him the box when they're
- 29:00Speaker 1: about to leave on a road trip, I thought, well,
- 29:01Speaker 1: that's very odd timing. I mean, it makes sense for
- 29:04Speaker 1: the movie gives them something to do, but I just
- 29:06Speaker 1: thought Joe would be more thoughtful than that. And then
- 29:09Speaker 1: for Oliver to react in such a way. Oliver is
- 29:13Speaker 1: such a thoughtful person for him to not really think
- 29:16Speaker 1: through what Joe's motivations might have been. I found it
- 29:19Speaker 1: surprising when he was angry at Joe, when he took
- 29:22Speaker 1: that anger and perhaps the sense of loss he was
- 29:25Speaker 1: feeling about this is what could have been. This is
- 29:27Speaker 1: the relationship I could have had that I never knew,
- 29:30Speaker 1: and he turned it on Joe because Harvey's gone. I
- 29:34Speaker 1: found it really unfair. Hmm. I understood a little bit
- 29:39Speaker 1: Oliver's feeling of frustration, like you had this my whole
- 29:42Speaker 1: life and I never had access to it. But I
- 29:45Speaker 1: also really understood Joe saying to him, look, I've kind
- 29:49Speaker 1: of forgot about it, like I put it up there
- 29:52Speaker 1: because you were not ready, Like we lost your mom,
- 29:55Speaker 1: you weren't ready. And then he was like I didn't
- 29:58Speaker 1: want to compete with him that man existed in a
- 30:01Speaker 1: box of letters that he had time to prepare, and
- 30:04Speaker 1: he never had to be a parent, right, He never
- 30:06Speaker 1: had to do any of the hard stuff. He never
- 30:08Speaker 1: had to tell you, no, he never had to walk
- 30:12Speaker 1: you through life. And that was a standard that Joe
- 30:14Speaker 1: couldn't live up to. And I fully got that. Yeah, totally.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I thought that exploration of emotions between father and son
- 30:21Speaker 1: was well done. I think it's the best work in
- 30:24Speaker 1: this movie. Yeah, when they had that conversation sitting on
- 30:27Speaker 1: the stairs, Yeah, one of the best scenes. Like, I'm
- 30:31Speaker 1: not dogging on all of our guys, not by any means.
- 30:34Speaker 1: It's just some of like his emotions don't make sense
- 30:38Speaker 1: to me, and that's where the frustration comes from. But
- 30:43Speaker 1: I agree with you. You know, how like have you
- 30:47Speaker 1: seen have you seen the tiktoks recently where it's like
- 30:52Speaker 1: a daughter and a mom or like a son and
- 30:55Speaker 1: a mom, And it's like, I have to remember, this
- 30:58Speaker 1: is her first time going through this too, So I
- 31:02Speaker 1: can like give Joe grace for that because this is
- 31:07Speaker 1: he's doing this all for the first time as well,
- 31:10Speaker 1: Like he doesn't have all the right answers. We have
- 31:12Speaker 1: to we have to stop expecting everybody to have the
- 31:14Speaker 1: right answers all the time or do the right things
- 31:17Speaker 1: all the time. Anyway, Okay, all right, we need to
- 31:22Speaker 1: zuck about the arrest. This is my other beef with Oliver.
- 31:27Speaker 1: He felt very cold in terms of like turning this
- 31:31Speaker 1: woman in. He's like, well, you broke a law. You
- 31:35Speaker 1: gotta go to jail for it. I'm Oliver here, you're
- 31:37Speaker 1: so black and white about this stuff. I know, I know,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I know. I'm not saying that I would be easy,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but yeah, to me, you got to turn around. Now
- 31:44Speaker 1: you're gonna live with with the guilt of knowing that
- 31:47Speaker 1: you know where this woman is and now you're harboring
- 31:49Speaker 1: her innocence. But it's kind of a harmless crime. Yes,
- 31:53Speaker 1: I don't disagree. And my hope is like in this
- 31:56Speaker 1: magical world where this next movie that doesn't exist half ends,
- 32:01Speaker 1: like the FBI is like, oh, well, she wasn't the
- 32:04Speaker 1: perpetrator of this crime, like she was trying to protect
- 32:07Speaker 1: her daughters. I get Oliver. She knew where he was,
- 32:12Speaker 1: she knew he had committed this crime, and she never
- 32:14Speaker 1: told anybody, Like she just lived with this man. I
- 32:18Speaker 1: don't question her decision making and I'm not saying I
- 32:22Speaker 1: would have done anything differently, but Centry emails two girls
- 32:24Speaker 1: gone homework at gmail dot com. Attention Megan. He did
- 32:28Speaker 1: the right thing. I sobbed in that scene or they
- 32:34Speaker 1: take her away where he walks her out to the
- 32:37Speaker 1: she's fricking walk give me a break, Like, I think
- 32:42Speaker 1: there's a lot of things happening in our world that
- 32:45Speaker 1: is like feeding into like my anger about this story.
- 32:50Speaker 1: In course, why is the mom the one that has
- 32:52Speaker 1: to go to jail? Like it sucks? Where's the dad?
- 32:54Speaker 1: He disappeared like him made the crime. No, I'm not
- 32:58Speaker 1: saying it's fair. I'm not saying it's fair. And yeah,
- 33:03Speaker 1: it just made me so mad. It just made me
- 33:05Speaker 1: so mad. I wanted I wanted Oliver and Shane and
- 33:12Speaker 1: Norman and Rita to like come up with some sort
- 33:16Speaker 1: of solution, some magical sitcom solution that allowed her to
- 33:21Speaker 1: live in But there was no solution that was ever
- 33:24Speaker 1: going to allow her to live a public life with
- 33:26Speaker 1: her daughter where she's not in hiding. Oliver has a
- 33:29Speaker 1: shit ton of money. He couldn't hire her a really
- 33:32Speaker 1: good lawyer, and who's to say he doesn't. He was
- 33:36Speaker 1: like bye, she was in freaking handcuffs, wash in handcuffs,
- 33:41Speaker 1: I can't remember. But and then I also had a
- 33:45Speaker 1: problem the oldest daughter, the girl who sings the songwriter,
- 33:51Speaker 1: and we have in that opening scene, like there's police
- 33:55Speaker 1: like looking at people's ideas. Right, she was a victim
- 33:59Speaker 1: in this crime. Her father was the one who committed
- 34:02Speaker 1: the crime. She was a minor. Like, I get that
- 34:05Speaker 1: they're trying, like she feels fearful that they're trying to
- 34:08Speaker 1: get to her mother, right, but like she was a
- 34:12Speaker 1: victim in this crime. Sure it was unfair that she
- 34:16Speaker 1: had to be on the run, Yes, exactly. I didn't
- 34:19Speaker 1: like that narrative. But I think, yeah, well, I don't
- 34:25Speaker 1: know that anybody was trying to paint her as a criminal.
- 34:28Speaker 1: But I think she felt like her knowing where her
- 34:33Speaker 1: mother was, but for a long time she didn't know
- 34:36Speaker 1: her where her mother was and she was still hiding.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Yeah that is nice. I just didn't I don't know,
- 34:47Speaker 1: this story felt a little untrue. I don't know, like
- 34:56Speaker 1: how realistic is it that story? I don't know. The
- 34:59Speaker 1: entire time, I'm I was like, would the mom and
- 35:01Speaker 1: the daughters would have been like implicated in this crime?
- 35:04Speaker 1: That's the entire thing. I was thinking about the entire movie,
- 35:07Speaker 1: Like would they have well once he committed the crime
- 35:10Speaker 1: and the mom knew that he committed the crime, and
- 35:11Speaker 1: now she's hiding him. But she's married, so you know,
- 35:15Speaker 1: you're you can't be compelled to testify in court against
- 35:17Speaker 1: your spouse. So is she compelled? So who knows? Or
- 35:22Speaker 1: is she? Is she yet? Like would the law compel
- 35:25Speaker 1: her to turn him in? I don't know that's a
- 35:27Speaker 1: good question. You turn your husband in if he rob
- 35:31Speaker 1: the bank he worked for, if he was an abuse
- 35:34Speaker 1: of pos like her husband was, who ruined their lives.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Perhaps all right, let's talk about something lighter hearted, and
- 35:41Speaker 1: that should be this be the end of the series.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, okay, but it needs to be discussed. No,
- 35:49Speaker 1: there's one movie. There's one more movie. There's one more
- 35:52Speaker 1: movie here. Yeah, okay, I think there is one more
- 35:55Speaker 1: movie here. I don't disagree with you. Do you think
- 35:58Speaker 1: there needs to be more or should be more after
- 36:00Speaker 1: this one, after the one more movie that we're never
- 36:03Speaker 1: gonna get. Let's be serious. No, I think they I
- 36:05Speaker 1: think that they I think these four can right off
- 36:09Speaker 1: into the sunset enjoy their happy lives with their children. Yeah.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I think we have three babies that we don't know
- 36:15Speaker 1: the fate of. Yeah, and I kind of like to
- 36:18Speaker 1: see that. The one thing I like is everyone's kind
- 36:21Speaker 1: of in a good place at the end of this movie,
- 36:23Speaker 1: other than we've just sent this woman to jail, like
- 36:25Speaker 1: she's not in a great place. But but that doesn't
- 36:28Speaker 1: affect these four though. Yeah, I would like to see
- 36:31Speaker 1: the outcome of these babies. I would like to, you know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: maybe the next one. I don't want to see a
- 36:39Speaker 1: because this movie picks up right with the last one
- 36:41Speaker 1: left off, or a couple of weeks later. I don't
- 36:44Speaker 1: want to see Rita and Shane still pregnant movie. I
- 36:49Speaker 1: want all of our baby's birthside is next movie? Yeah
- 36:52Speaker 1: I could. Yeah, and everyone's happy and we wrap it
- 36:55Speaker 1: up and people don't want to hear this, but I
- 36:58Speaker 1: think we then move on. I love this series. I
- 37:01Speaker 1: think it is incredibly special, and I also think all
- 37:04Speaker 1: good things must come to an end. I agree with that,
- 37:08Speaker 1: and I also don't think we need like a next
- 37:10Speaker 1: generation of Postables. I just shook my head. No, No,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I don't think so either. I would love another series
- 37:17Speaker 1: from Martha Williamson. Yeah, I was watching the hell out
- 37:20Speaker 1: of that. It should be mentioned it is believed that
- 37:24Speaker 1: there is a third movie idea or script out there.
- 37:27Speaker 1: There is a petition to have it made. We'll link
- 37:30Speaker 1: it in the show notes if you feel so compelled
- 37:32Speaker 1: to sign it. My personal opinion is this is the
- 37:36Speaker 1: last we're going to see it them. Yeah, and that's
- 37:38Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Mystery one oh one ended well
- 37:41Speaker 1: with a cliffhanger, right, all right, what did you rate?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Oh no, it's time for Did you see that? Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I have a couple. I have one. Let me hear it.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I had to google. But it does take a drive
- 37:55Speaker 1: from Denver to Vegas is a ten to twelve hour drive.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Why didn't they just fly there because then they wouldn't
- 38:02Speaker 1: have a chance to bring the quirky RV back. I
- 38:05Speaker 1: just they were like with its radley sound effects, they
- 38:08Speaker 1: were like so trying, like we have to get there
- 38:10Speaker 1: by showtime. They wouldn't have made it by showtime. It
- 38:14Speaker 1: was like the afternoon. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just
- 38:17Speaker 1: telling you it's a ten to twelve hour drive and
- 38:20Speaker 1: I don't even know if that includes stops at the
- 38:22Speaker 1: Dinosaur museum or wherever. They know, you're right because they
- 38:25Speaker 1: were leaving at ten am and the show was that night, right,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I mean, maybe you're gonna make it like the Vegas
- 38:31Speaker 1: eleven PM show. I don't know, no, because they were
- 38:34Speaker 1: seeing the early show. Because remember they were talking in
- 38:37Speaker 1: between shows. I thought it was also funny too. They
- 38:39Speaker 1: were like looking out the window like these like wide
- 38:42Speaker 1: eyed like, look, it's so beautiful. Is that how you
- 38:45Speaker 1: feel when you would have Las Vegas? I'm just like, nah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's remarkable when you drive down
- 38:51Speaker 1: the Vegas Strip for the first time. Sure, remember that
- 38:54Speaker 1: one time we drove down the Vegas Strip and we
- 38:55Speaker 1: were in the back of that car and it was
- 38:56Speaker 1: so loud. The music was so loud. You were so angry.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I don't remembers at all. What were we even in
- 39:04Speaker 1: Vain for. We're on a brand trip. Oh, I was angry.
- 39:09Speaker 1: We were being like chauffeured around from show to hotel
- 39:15Speaker 1: and the music in the car was like vi Brady
- 39:20Speaker 1: Uber so hard. Oh. We were being driven by one
- 39:23Speaker 1: of our fellow brand trippers. They're not girls going Hallmark listeners,
- 39:27Speaker 1: you know. I think he was in the front seat,
- 39:29Speaker 1: but I think of one of the people that they
- 39:30Speaker 1: had hired to drive people around and the music was still.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I was like, oh, so I get over stimulated very easily.
- 39:42Speaker 1: That's the true statement. I don't like lab music in
- 39:46Speaker 1: cars or anywhere. Honestly, what do you have for? Did
- 39:51Speaker 1: you see that two? First of all, when Oliver is
- 39:54Speaker 1: reading the first letter from Harvey, the voiceover of him
- 39:57Speaker 1: reading does not match the text on the Oh, there's
- 39:59Speaker 1: a couple couple of different ways. It's because like he's like, oh,
- 40:02Speaker 1: I fancy myself, but the lion says like consider myself,
- 40:05Speaker 1: and I swear he talks about like his love of
- 40:12Speaker 1: the post office, but it says something out anyway, it
- 40:14Speaker 1: does not match. The other thing is they talk about
- 40:17Speaker 1: the hotel the Bellisario, which is an obvious play on
- 40:21Speaker 1: the Bellagio, which used to be like kind of like
- 40:24Speaker 1: the height of Las Vegas luxury. And my brother was like,
- 40:26Speaker 1: it's terrible. I'm sure. I guess the guy who originally
- 40:29Speaker 1: owned it sold it and whoever owns it now like
- 40:31Speaker 1: it used to be an MGM property and it isn't anymore,
- 40:34Speaker 1: or the other way around. Regardles. Apparently, it's not nice anymore.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I want to go to a hotel in Vegas that
- 40:38Speaker 1: doesn't have a casino because I don't care. Also, it
- 40:42Speaker 1: must have high end food hmmm in my favor, or
- 40:45Speaker 1: no smoking. I'm no fun guys. Oh my husband and
- 40:50Speaker 1: sun Steed. I thought it was the Park MGM doesn't
- 40:53Speaker 1: have a casino, which is like, yeah, right, I think
- 40:56Speaker 1: that's where we stayed last summer. Yeah, and there it's
- 40:59Speaker 1: no casino, so there's it's attached to another hotel. Yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 1: so like yeah, yeah, access. But my favorite Vegas hotel
- 41:05Speaker 1: is the Encore MM. Their rooms are huge. Every room
- 41:09Speaker 1: is like basically like a mini suite, and they have
- 41:12Speaker 1: the best buffet at the Wind which is attached the
- 41:15Speaker 1: best the best buffet like seafood buffet. I love a
- 41:18Speaker 1: seafood both they have seafood, but they have the everything.
- 41:21Speaker 1: They have everything. I haven't been in Vegas in years.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I just want to go for a buffet and the
- 41:25Speaker 1: backshep boys at the Sphere. I have a quick story
- 41:27Speaker 1: about the Sphere. Okay, I think I would get motion sick,
- 41:30Speaker 1: but okay, that's what I'm That's where I'm headed. My
- 41:32Speaker 1: parents were recently there because the Eagles played there and
- 41:36Speaker 1: my dad said, the sphere is so freaking cool. But
- 41:39Speaker 1: they have a special room for people who get motion sick.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I believe it. They have like a full protocol. I
- 41:45Speaker 1: was like, that would be me. I have seen videos.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It looks really really really cool. The Backshep Boys are
- 41:51Speaker 1: playing this summer, and my husband and I have an
- 41:52Speaker 1: affinity for boy bands, and every time we talk about it,
- 41:55Speaker 1: I'm like, don't know, I feel like I'm gonna get carsick.
- 41:57Speaker 1: My husband's like, you are so old. I'm like, I know,
- 41:59Speaker 1: but wouldn't it ruined if you're like yeah, if you're like,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I need to sit down and close my eyes on
- 42:06Speaker 1: the floor. Videos of it look, honestly a little talk
- 42:09Speaker 1: about overstimulating. Yeah, I don't know if that's for you.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I don't know if it is either. I just saw
- 42:14Speaker 1: a video of Andy Cohen at like a Dead with
- 42:19Speaker 1: Miles Teller. I was like, that looks like so much fun. Yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 1: if you have all that space that Andy and Miles
- 42:25Speaker 1: have just taken up the aisles and nobody's gonna say
- 42:27Speaker 1: anything to them. Sure, yeah, yeah, they look like they're
- 42:30Speaker 1: having a great time. Guys, who would you like to
- 42:32Speaker 1: see at the sphere in Las Vegas. Please email us.
- 42:36Speaker 1: It's gonna be on a mail bag episode. I heard
- 42:37Speaker 1: you have to wear earplugs when I go to a concert.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Can you imagine me? Have you seen those motion sickness
- 42:43Speaker 1: glasses that people? We have a parent and my loop
- 42:50Speaker 1: earplace and then I'm here for a good time. Oh,
- 42:57Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, I've activated. What did you rate? To
- 43:02Speaker 1: the Moon and Back? I gave four stars to give
